stares autistically...YAYU..galaxy quest is my Main ocverse bc its almost 11 yrs old now and its just been a default in my mind since i was 11-12ish but capitalist creepshow is a close 2nd with how fleshed out it is...my oc carrd has some good info character wise but its lacking on worldbuilding + plot stuff bc im insanely character focused and suck at that shit badly LOL, also the plot/episode page and number of seasons on gq's page is outdated bc i recently like completely redid the plot and havent updated it yet 😭 anyway u can have existing gq lore. sorry if this is weirdly worded and hard to understand im at work rn 😢 i also have a couple scattered tumblr posts on random important bits of lore/character stuff ill get them later. oh ya and toyhouse if u want to see whos who or whatever. a couple side characters havent been redesigned yet but ill get there eventually lol

gq is like. a 90s-2000s CN styled adult cartoon (i always sum it up as if futurama and chowder were 1 cartoon. BIG BIG influences from chowder especially with the voice acting my goddd )..its Planned to have 5 seasons, it used to be 4 but with the new plot i had to add one to fit it in without Completely starting over on every single season lol, also perhaps 1 semi canon movie and a small side series for a bunch of silly mostly canon fillers i couldnt fit into the show itself.

so like i said im bad at having a consistent plot, also words are hard for me so ur getting a Very shitty bastardized version of what i Do have.

Basically it takes place mostly on 2 planets, earth and alkaliba(i hate this name i made it up when i was like 15ish, i just cant think of something better rn😔) its initially in 2009, but actually this is like a Different 2009. bc basically there was a mass extinction like several hundred million years ago and everything just kinda started over but like only Slightly different (sounds stupid af out loud but just trust me ok) alkaliba had existed for a Very long time the next galaxy over and it just so happens that the planet is dying and all their natural resources are fucked. so melody (lenarrs mom) set up an agreement with alkaliba that they could borror resources from earth. (melody is thousands of years old, but thats a secret lol) also melody was from another dimension Also a very powerful sorcerer and kept most of her spells and whatnot in her journal But its written in her native dimensions language which nobody on earth (except lenarr) can read. anyway she used her magic to connect the 2 planets using a series of portals called stargates (again. subject to change, also they connect to a Lot of other planets besides just earth but whatever) that allowed ppl to easily travel between the 2. bc of this alkaliba Kinda "colonized" (FOR LACK OF A BETTER WORD) earth? and that was normal for a few thousand years.

anyway for s1 jump ahead to where canon starts (2009) tix is sent to earth by meredith (queen of alkaliba, tix is her son but u dont know that until later in s1 when they actually Go to alkaliba) to pretty much track lenarr down and convince him to use his powers he inherented from melody (lenarr is not aware of this at all) to pretty much save alkaliba (BIG SPOILER. THIS IS SOMEWHAT DISHONEST. sure lenarr could Choose to save alkaliba but that would result in the destruction of earth or it could be vice versa. it cant be both BUT youll see) so he find lenarr Completely by coincidence after lenarr offers to help him bc tix has never seen snow or ice in his life and is having Difficulty. anyway this is ridiculous that i havent figured this out after 10+ years but tix does Something to convince lenarr to go with him, bc obviously lenarr would be very hesitant to. a bunch of shit happens u know the drill 1st episode shit to establish everything. i could type out a full episode 1 plot but i don't particularly want to rn😢

s2-3 is just mostly playing toys w my characters and tix teaching lenarr how to use his powers (s1 finale is when lenarr starts to Get it but u know) also s2 is noodles villain arc and s3 has eugene in it which is so fun bc i really really like noodle and eugene is funny. OH AND THE MAIN VILLAINS. hydro is the Main antagonist but he has 5 other idek what to call them. henchmen????? that either work for him (griff, dimentia, derric) Or are loyal to him bc he practically saved their life (grem and pixie, also dimentia a little? its complicated) and while Yes hydro IS a villain and he IS evil, hes actually just trying to save earth bc in his mind alkaliba is actually like the typical alien invasion thing u see in movies (not exactly whats happening but it Is possible u could see it that way) he just goes abt it in the weirdest most fucked up way possible. also BIG plotpoint worth mentioning, grem and tix were dating for at least 3000+ years before tix left him for his (now deceased) wife, which grem is Extremely bitter abt. so hes obviously loyal to hydro bc hydro helped him escape his abusive father BUT hes also doing it for himself to get back at tix. (important note tix Was the asshole in that situation 100%, grem is actually right to be upset a little but probably not That much) anyway once lenarr tix and zach(forgot to mention zach is tixs best friend who tix brings along bc hes smart and good at strategizing, also bc tix is GAYYYYYY) get to alkaliba finally it is literally impossible to conceal the fact that tix is a prince there. and bc lenarr doesnt know the Real reason why hes there he doesnt think much of it, in fact he finds it weird that tix wouldnt tell him that.

jumping allll the way to s4 when the Actual shit goes down. this is where shit gets less in depth bc its Extremely new..this is when lenarr learns that hes being used to basically doom earth, u know. his home planet. (considering having either hydro or grem tell him, not in a nice way either) obviously he gets really upset abt this, Especially bc its been at least a couple years since canon started and zach and tix are basically like family to him at this point. he probably runs off idk. i need to think abt it more bc i JUST made this up but im considering recycling an OLDD concept from like early highschool gq where lenarr gets to visit melody in her home dimension. also forgot to mention. melody and lenarrs older brother ruben both committed suicide when lenarr was younger. melody only did it to go back to her home dimension, but ruben did it bc he got rlly depressed after melody died ÷(

anyway lenarr gets to see melody, its very sweet ÷) he talks to her abt his problem abd she gives him some kinda cryptic advice bc Plot. this changes lenarr basically, at this point hes mastered melodys spellbook and Now he can create his own spells or whatever. SO. he comes up with a way to make it so NEITHER planet gets destroyed somehow. this works bc lenarr is actually like twice as powrful as melody at his full potential. after this the main villains would most likely have their redemption arcs somehow i havent thought up What exactly happens yet. and for s5 its basically just me wrapping things up and playing with my toys freely...theres still active plot happening thats very relevant to the story obviously but its a liiiiitle less high stakes and thats all i got in regards to the main plot bc if i sat here and typed a detailed explanation of my fun fillers id be here for years

originally gq was Not supposed to be a cartoon nor was it an ocverse. it was a fucking spm fan spinoff i made up bc i was autistic af and 12. grem was my first ever oc that was Not a fursona and he was actually terrible like as a person. i mean hes kinda terrible now but not as bad

griffs name was changed a few years after i made him. it used to be falcon (STUPID AF BUT I WAS 12. REMEMBER THIS.) also i thought itd be funny for his name to be griff bc youd think its short for griffon but no its short for grifford. also texs and tiabia names were changed too. tiabis name was janette and she was actually originally an adult but i thought itd be better if she was 7

like 99.999% of my original designs and concept art + silly little comics of my villains bc it was just them when it was still a mario thing is lost media forever bc my mom accidentally threw it all away when we moved to a new house i miss it every dayyyy id do Anything to see it again..... the Only original stuff i have is from highschool and i fucking hate my artstyle then so its sad af...its just lenarrs finalized design (which actually barely changed since then) and MAYBE if i looked hard enough thru my old computers i could find zachs original design too? idk i dont feel like looking

some Stupid reasons behind design changes were 1. hydro used to have 4 heads, hence the dumbass wordplay on "hydra" but i got so fucking fed up with drawing them every time + i kept forgetting to so i just made him a regular dragon. and 2. griff has his mask bc i literally just kept getting mad trying to draw his face right. thats literally it. thats the only reason.

I crave for Y/n schoolmate reaction 😭 The Adeuce duo + Grim are the most incredible. But everyone is priceless. "The F- Silver is your child ? He's older than you !" (In a scenario where Y/n be back at her regular age as a first year when returning in the present-)

Perhaps Lilia hid the whole truth to Silver. Like, if he was awake before the Knight, perhaps he thought it was an accident. And if Meleanor and Levan don't success to put the child back to sleep, it can add fuel to the idea. Lilia could be scared that Silver would never met his mother and other father because of a magic problem. The rest of the event would be similar to the original timeline.

Actually, timetravel and changing timeline is a trope that have many different concept, views and solution. But I kinda like the idea of a timeline "arranging/reguling itself" so the flows of event do not become too much aberrant after some big change (and it's actually a pretty simple way to avoid time paradox- 🫥). It can also explain Y/n returning. Because honestly, I think no one would willingly go back to the present (in another world-) after having a kid and living in a cute Cottage with 2 handsome and perfect husbands-

Plus Teen Silver play a essential role in original timeline. Because without him, no dream, no saving, Y/n in Malleus dream forever, no timetravel after that, no story- And I need him to meet Sebek and Malleus because sad croco boi need his training brother figure and big lonely prince need to save baby from Lilia's cooking. Yes, considering all the pain and suffering the original canon timeline went. I wanted this OT3 timeline to have a happy ending for them. 💚🥰 There will still be struggles of course, but in the end, I want them to have a wonderful ending.

Dawny being more active and wanting to bring financial stability to his family is so sweet. I can see him become a teacher at RSA and mentor the students there and NRC. He doesn't want to anyone to feel left out so he sets up a club at NRC. Lilia would mention how he has more than enough money for their family, but of course, Dawny does not want to just let Lilia handle everything. And really, how can anyone say no to those determined looking eyes?

This will allow him to not only have a reason to visit both schools, but he can also spend time with his son and his classmates. I can see Silver and Sebek popping in occasionally to train with Dawny. After all, learning from two powerful warriors can only help them in the future as knights for Malleus. I can also see them being Dawny's training partner for the other students who want to learn and observe as well.

Then you also have Lilia and Dawny, I can imagine they would both have practice fights to show off to the students. YN warned them not to get hurt and not to destroy anything during their spar.

Currently timeline shenanigans with YN's schoolmates is what I love, especially for the first years. Jack is extra alert because you're a mom...or well, mom figure? And as a wolf, they take pride in protecting maternal figures. But he is also so confused because how does he treat you? You are still in his same year and age.

Then you have Epel, I can see him switch from Miss to Mrs. to Ma'am and just get frustrated. 🤣 Sebek is going through all the emotions. You’re a human who is very well loved, wife of Lord Lilia but also somehow Silver's mother and the wife of the Knight of Dawn, someone help this boy. He starts treating you with great respect, but you have to stop him and compromise with him. At school and other places, he can just treat you normally. If he's comfortable, he can be respectful back in Briar Valley. After all, you're friends with Sebek and you want it to stay that way and you dont want that to change because of some status he thinks you have now.

The "Silver is older than you" comment has me laughing.

Here are some other Twst character interactions I can think of once they found out.

Leona: Now calls you 'Lady or Princess" with that smirk on his face, trying to irritate you.

Kalim: finds this whole situation interesting. He doesn't fully understand it but as long as everyone is happy he's happy.

Jamil is now worried because he now has to worry about more people not to offend...and then he remembers what he did to you in book 4 and watch him hide in his hoodie.

Rook: loves the chaos and all the emotions around him. I can see him want to spar with both Dawny and Lilia.

Idia: is wondering how some of his favorite tropes in anime/games became real. He is also slowly trying to disappear because too many beautiful people and he doesn't want the attention.

Ortho: Well, he's having fun calculating the likelihood of this entire situation happening. In short, wow YN, you really beat the odds in everything you do.

I can imagine the pain and suffering Lilia went through to hide the truth from Silver. He loves Silver and is happy to raise him as his son, after all Silver is his son, but it hurts him that you and Dawny couldn't be there to see how your three's special boy grew up. YN and Dawny would have to step in not to only assuage this guilt and comfort him, but to do the same with Silver.

Silver would definitely need to be sat down and talk to about all this, about how loved he is and how you three are happy to see him happy and healthy.

Exactly! Who wants to return to their normal life after having such a precious family? Especially who wants to be annoyed by the headmaster constantly? So this is a win-win on all situations.

Thinking about the original timeline and how while it is the same, it is still different for all the good ways. Sebek has his best friend, Malleus got to help raise Silver and have his parents, and Silver gets extra family members who love him.

Meleanor: The spoiling aunt who will dress up her child and Silver (and later Sebek) in cute clothes, will kidnap him whenever Lilia isn't looking or Malleus tries to hide Silver from Lilia's cooking.

Levan: Who can also teach Silver and Sebek history and tactics. He can tell them stories and calm down his wife when she gets hyper.

You’ve got to do the cooking by the book! ... But with Floyd and Sebek, that’s an impossible task. Between noodle sourcing squabbles and differences in their approach, how can GR ever rein these two loose cannons in?

dbjsbskdne I was so excited to write this because I love both Sebek and Floyd 😌 They make for a fun dynamic, especially when mixed in with GR~

I was busy around the initial release of this event months ago, so I’m releasing this SUPER late (but it all ends up working out, since a character cameoing in this fic is one of the new Master Chef units for May 2023). I’ll get the Idia and Ace with GR one out in a week or two 😭 Please bear with me!!

Imagine this…

If teaching the Master Chef course at NRC had taught Gordon Ramsay one thing, it was this: the kitchen was an active battle zone, and weapons of mass destruction laid in wait around every corner. It was all open flames and pointed tools... but the most dangerous thing of all to his health and his sanity?

The students.

He had dealt with his fair share of arrogant, ill-tempered chefs. Professionals who thought themselves too good to take advice, newbies who believed they were better than they actually were.

The NRC boys were a whole new ordeal altogether, Gordon realized.

“IEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!”

A bloodcurdling shriek resounded in Ignihyde’s halls. It bounced off the cold polished floors and the metal beams and wires that stitched everything together.

At once, Gordon snapped to attention, pushing himself away from the wall and rushing to the scream’s source. The door snagged, refusing to open--he cursed loudly, slamming his palms against it and roaring, “WHAT’S GOIN’ ON IN THERE?!”

Behind the door, the wailing escalated. There was crashing, screeching, sobbing, begging. His worries ramped up, his pounding, harder and more frantic.

“I THOUGHT I COULD LEAVE YOU TWO UNDERSUPERVISED FOR ONE BLOODY SECOND!!”

Gordon’s palms were raw now, crying out in protest--and, for a wild moment, he considered ramming his entire body against the door. Just as he was preparing to throw himself at it—

Click.

Like magic, the door suddenly swung open. Sebek’s proud face appeared, wearing a smug, triumphant expression. Not good, Gordon thought.

“Rejoice, human!!, Sebek thundered happily. “The merman and I have successfully liberated Ignihyde of its excess of flash fried noodles!! We shall have plenty to use for our cooking lessons!!”

“You did WHAT?!”

“Hmph! Witness our bountiful spoils for yourself!!”

Gordon lifted his head and stared past Sebek.

In the back of the room, Floyd was squatting by Idia’s closet, packet of instant ramen in hand. Boxes and boxes of noodles—rummaged from the deepest recesses of Idia’s mancave—laid in haphazard stacks beside him, teetering precariously atop one another.

Ignihyde’s dorm leader sprawled on the floor, humbly prostrating himself between tears.

“Oi, Firefly Squid-senpai,” Floyd said lazily, using the butt of his frying pan to poke Idia on the head. “This all you got? You’d better tell the truth or else Crocodile-chan and I will squeeze you senseless~”

“Y-Yes, yes, that’s everything!!” Idia squeaked as he cowered in terror. “Y-You’ve already cleaned me out of house and home...!! J-Just take the noodles and leave this nerd alone!!”

“Hmmm...” Floyd laid his frying pan on his shoulder and contemplated. “’Kay! I don’t feel like haulin’ more stuff back to the kitchen anyway.”

“The FUCK is happening here?!”

All eyes landed on Gordon as he stormed in looking none too pleased. Veins bulged on his forehead, and his entire face creased with rage.

A mistake made on his part; he should have known—the students of Night Raven College were the most dangerous aspect in all of cooking.

It had been a sly suggestion from Floyd that started this whole mess. “I heard from a little octopus that Ignihyde’s loaded with noodles. We should go there to pick some up.”

And so Sebek and Floyd had been allowed to go off to collect the ingredients. When they didn’t return in a timely manner, Gordon’s suspicions had set in and he went to Ignihyde himself to investigate—only to stumble upon that shocking scene.

He left fuming, dragging his problem children of the day with him (Floyd) flailing and (Sebek) protesting.

“I said you could get ingredients, I didn’t say you should rob the man blind!!” Gordon grunted, shoving them both through the kitchen doors. “Right, we’ll make noodles by scratch then. Hope you boys remember what you’ve been taught.”

“What? But I don’t feel like it.”

“You should’ve thought of that before you pissed on my mood. To your stations,” their instructor barked, “now!!”

“Maaan... This sucks.”

They reluctantly slunk off, fetching flour, salt, and eggs along the way. Just as Sebek popped open a jar of white granules, Gordon shouted, “Make sure it’s not sugar this time, Zigvolt!!”

Sebek’s cheeks flamed. He shot a fierce glare back, bellowing, “I KNOW THAT!! I don’t need to be told twice! I’ve been expanded my culinary repertoire considerably since the start of this semester!!”

Floyd’s eyes shifted to Sebek’s station. A nasty plot bubbled to the surface of his mind, encouraged by the volatility of his junior’s attitude.

“Ehhh, you sure got guts snapping back to the teach, freshie,” Floyd grinned crookedly as he leaned forward at his counter. “How about you talk big when you can actually own up to it? At least I can cook without a recipe. You’ve been making little mistakes even with a recipe.”

“WHAT!! The only reason we’re even IN this predicament is due to YOUR lapse in judgment!! You INSISTED it would be more cost effective and time efficient to procure noodles in bulk from Ignihyde!”

“You’re the one that went along with me. If you were really smart, you’d have stopped us.”

“Grk…!!”

“Alright, alright, that’s enough out of the both of you!!” Gordon interrupted. “Focus on your pastas instead of stirring the pot here.”

“Tch!! I’ll show him!!” Sebek gruffly tore into a bag of flour at his table. A cloud of fine white powder filled the air, sending him into a coughing fit.

Floyd snickered—he had already shifted his own flour and salt together, forming a well in which he had cracked an egg.

Gordon raised a brow. “… Well? Get on with it then.”

The merman’s lackadaisical smile turned sharp-toothed at the suggestion. “If you say so.”

Without hesitation, Floyd stuck his entire hand into his mound of ingredients, fingers clenching around egg and flower. The yolk burst, viscous yellow coating his hand and flour flying in all directions. A stray speck flew across the aisle and hit Sebek’s forehead.

A low grow came from his throat.

Gordon scowled at Floyd. “That’s not an acceptable mixing technique.”

“That’s right!” Sebek called haughtily. “You should know better!! You’re meant to break the yolk with a fork, then steadily incorporate it into the...”

A fistful of flour suddenly exploded across Sebek’s vision. He jerked back, now boasting a flour-covered face, appalled and mouth hanging agape.

Across the way, Floyd unabashedly smirked. He waggled his yolky fingers at his classmate, incriminating himself. “Oops, my hand slipped.”

“YOU VILE KNAVE!! THIS INJUSTICE WILL NOT GO UNPUNISHED!!” Sebek shoved a hand into his own bag of flour for a counterattack. He raised his arm, and Floyd cackled, knowing his target had taken the bait.

Gordon instantly clued in on his intentions.

This was it: Floyd’s escape from the order to make noodles, to do something more fun.

“TIME OUT!!” The chef abruptly stepped between his students, forming a physical barrier between the two--but alas, too late.

The declaration of war had been made.

There was a battle cry, and then flour flying at him. Gordon fell back, grasping at his face. The world blurred into a white mess, filled with the clanging of pots and pans and erratic shouting. 

“Where are you?!” Sebek demanded between coughs (most likely preparing another projectile). “COME AND FACE ME, YOU FISHY COWARD!!”

Shuffling came from within the flour haze, metal and wooden implements rolled or tossed to the floor to attract Sebek’s attention. Wherever Floyd was in the kitchen, he was a master at avoiding detection.

All the while, Gordon swatted at the air and bellowed, “Stand down, get back to work. ARE YOU LISTENING TO ME, YOU FUCKING DONKEYS?!”

The startled cries of the cafeteria ghost chefs started filtering in.

“G-Goodness, what’s happened here?!”

Gordon lurched out of the kitchen, clinging to the doorframe to keep himself upright. He spat up a breath, then dragged a hand over his face to wipe it clean of flour. The man looked simultaneously infuriated and exhausted, the lines on his face seemingly more prominent than they had been before.

“Mr. Ramsay!! Are you alright?! What’s become of the kitchen and the students?!” one of the ghost chefs asked worriedly.

“The students,” Gordon said wearily. “That’s what happened.”

IWTV S2 - Three spicy/spoilery reviews

The reviewers are just saying whatever they want, I guess! O_O

I've decided to mix and match them, comparing what they each say about similar themes/topics/reveals.

ELEVATING THE SOURCE MATERIAL

TELL IT! It's about adding DEPTH, y'all, not just a 1:1 page-to-screen.

Intellectual horror, instead of psychological horror--fascinating.

An "even more authentic adaptation" -- WE BEEN KNEW!!! I roll my eyes at book stans who hate on the show, acting like the movie was more accurate just cuz it was set during slavery times with white actors. 🙄 Like PLEASE, there's so much missing from the movie, or glossed over, or straight up changed, that the show-antis just demonstrate how shallow they are when their every attack hinges on the timeline/race/age changes. Cry harder.

MORE elevated than Season 1--you love to see it.

Yaaas, bring on the petty melodramatic mess, and fierce performances! 👏

CLAUDIA & MADELEINE

Because Bailey used profanity to convey her agony being a woman trapped in an adolescent's body in S1 too, I'm assuming Delainey will just cuss more? But cussing is all over the show, so I don't get it.

Everyone keeps raving about Roxane as Madeleine, but they've been SO CLOSE-LIPPED about her scenes, and it's KILLING me. 😭

"Deeply willful around Louis"--yeah, we saw a glimpse of that in the trailer; it's what he deserves. Give 'em hell, Claudia!

And yeah, she's PISSED that they cast her as Baby LouLou--imagine, being infantalized, and given the name of the father you've already gone through so much to emancipate yourself from as a "Brother" instead of "Daddy Lou." 😒 Eff Louis--where's Claudia's scythe at!?

"the show's primary villain--" say it louder. Book stans need to stop projecting post-IWTV Lestat the hero/protagonist/MC into the narrative that LOUIS is telling, as a guy struggling to get over his ex.

"There to berate him for his poor choices--" this tracks with the trailer released today, too, where the producers said Dream-Stat would "pass judgement" on Louis' pisspoor actions.

PRODUCTION (Sets, Costumes, etc)

Yes, IWTV S1 was absolutely gorgeous; their attention to detail was immaculate. And so far it looks like S2 is gonna be just as nice. I REALLY like what I've seen of the Threatre's aesthetic.

THEATRE DES VAMPIRES & SANTIAGO

I freaking love this. XD

Agreeing with him about WHAT though? 🤨 That Louis & Claudia are hiding things? Or that they deserve to die because of it? (Especially since Lestat is OBVIOUSLY not actually dead, so what "crime/rules" are they actually breaking, Lord Kangaroo Court?)

TALAMASCA & CRITIQUES

Thank you lord god kamisama flying spaghetti monster he's a Talamascan, not another secret vampire.

But now I'm nervous, thanks to the ComicBook review:

Uh oh. The Talamasca feels forced & out of place. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

The AVENGERS INITIATIVE. 💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀

But they say it feels like "Daniel's being recruited--" YES PLEASE. 🙏 If Daniel's not gonna be a vampire, at least let him be a Talamascan. Ain't no way he can return to the mundane world after all this.

My BIGGEST complaint about IWTV as a franchise is its tenuous connection to the Immortals Universe. AMC is dropping the ball hard on creating an ARCU--Anne Rice's Cinematic Universe. There are SO MANY immortals & supernaturals we should've BEEN seen in S1, walking the streets of NOLA. I will say this every time: Oncle Vervain Mayfair should've been brought in from the OG pilot script. We should've seen Louis go to him for gris-gris before the poker game, and introduce Lestat to Vervain as a practitioner of what Louis thought was "European voodoo." Also: we should've seen Lasher. There should've been a scene where the Mayfairs told the vampires to GTFO their territory, and keep their hunting grounds on the other side of town. Like, the Mayfair Witches show sucks like you wouldn't believe, it's so stupid (looks gorgeous though), but the WORLDBUILDING is ripe for the taking! And AMC did squat with it!

Like, tbh, I don't see the point of a whole Talamasca show, and if it's handled by Esta & the gang from MW, then I don't wanna see it--I WILL, ofc, but I won't WANT to. Especially since we haven't seen any ghosts. ISTG, PLEASE have Merrick Mayfair in Ep7 or Ep8--not only will that bridge IWTV with MW, but it can perfectly lead to Blackwood Farm., while keeping the threads between vampires, ghosts, AND the Taltos (if they're determined to do a Lestat/Rowan crossover from Blood Canticle 🤢🤮).

I was wondering why so many reviews were giving it 4/5 or 9/10, like wtf are y'all being so stingy for!? But if this is the problem, then I'm not surprised, I've been complaining about it the whole time.

Fanfic Works in Progress for SCM Ramble

It's been ages since I did one of these so let's talk a bit about stuff I've maybe got going on in the background shall we (hoping I can work on the two request ones I have shortly):

SCM Fanfic Wip list

1. New Spice (title subject to change)

(Prince!Karno/Princess!Reader) (Request) Word Count 1,006. This is for the Prince Karno/Princess Reader request I got way back in November (Sorry I will try to get to this asap - this 1,006 words was what I did at the time. I haven't touched it since November, I'm sorry. 😭 (I think I went for trying to get the advent calendar fics done in advance - and even that I wasn't ahead enough on in the end. 😂)

2. Untitled Angsty Tauxolouve/Goddess!Reader (Request)

Just noting this here. This was a relatively recent request and I haven't even started even an idea on this yet because I really need to do fic 1 before this one. But I will get to this one. 😊 I have a few possible ideas (which probably means I need to apologise to Tauxolouve. Again 🙃)

Okay those are the only requests I have so the rest of this is stuff I have potentially been working on:

3. A Love Lost

I don't know whether I will get round to working out the best way to do this one. Currently 2,386 words. Currently this has no pairing (well aside from past Huedhaut/Clotho) - what this story is supposed to be is basically 'what if someone stopped Hue from saving Clotho's soul'. So it's more an insight into his character than anything else right now.

4. Light Vs Dark (Huedhaut/MC)

Current word count: 662. Which is barely any more than it had last time I did one of these posts which was apparently way back in September.

5. What the Future May Bring (Huedhaut/MC)

Current word count: 1,095. Apparently I made a slight change/correction at one point cos this has gone up two words but this is still the one where I'm sure I had a clear idea. Now I fear I may have left it too long.

6. Sleepless (Aigonorus/MC)

Current word count: 3,902. Poor Aigo. I started this one way back in October... no NOT 2024, 2023! This one may need some tweaking... or else it may end up also being a Hue/Tauxolouve fic. 🤔 Speaking of who...

7. Untitled Hue/Tauxolouve fic

Still just the 1,057 words of a vague idea I had for these two that I mentioned last rambling post like this. There's still the one in my Karno/MC universe (so Hard Work, Heavens on his Mind) that I'm still somewhat considering but I dunno whether to add a new paring to an already established series. Then there's another idea I had where... okay if I start listing potential stuff we'll be here even longer.

8. Untitled Ichthys/MC/Huedhaut fic

Current word count: 688. Rating: Likely M due to dark themes (if I ever finish this one. I may well go ahead and rework this a bit like I said in my last one of these).

9. Fiery Encounter (Aigonorus/Reader)

Current word count: 714. I think this one might be more likely to be finished before the Aigo/MC story even though this one is newer.

10. Future Help (Ichthys/MC)

Current Word Count: 488. This hasn't changed at all since my initial typing back in February last year. I'm almost tempted to not list this here at all because whether I'll ever actually use this exact one now I'm not sure.

I think that's it for ones I actually have stuff written down for, though I will say (especially since their brief part in my last fic) I really want to write a full Aigonorus/Tauxolouve story at some point. Other than that as I say I have several ideas for Huedhaut/Tauxolouve and then I haven't forgotten my idea about someone maybe changing departments (though I fear the catalyst in that is going to end up being rather dark if I do. That said I do have a potential plan for how a department switch would go now)

Hopefully someone found this interesting. I'm really not sure how useful this particular update is, even more so than usual! 😅

My INTENTION (unless my mind decides to throw something else up) is for the next two fics to be my two requests.

As to what comes after those? I fear even I can't make a guess on that at this point! (It may even end up being the idea I had where it ends up that someone in the heavens does something that affects certain members of the departments adversely because they aren't like the other gods. (I think in my mind that that is currently also Huedhaut/Tauxolouve but it doesn't necessarily have to be)).

Destiel should’ve happened, a better finale should’ve happened, some deleted scenes and scripts should’ve happened, Jack being covered in more blood and maybe having a longer lasting ‘villain’ arc should’ve happened …many such cases

8) something that shouldn’t have happened…again, many choices, but to save time I’ll just leave it at Nick’s entire character. besides (see #6) he straight up shouldn’t be alive. Dean shot him in the head with the Colt all the way back in S5 lmao

9) hmmmmm……i think my entire blog is full of rare (if not downright unpopular) opinions, but if I had to choose one that is Extremely rare, I’d go with this one: Dean is one of Jack’s dads. As frustrating as his initial behavior is, he does grow past it, and he puts genuine effort into being a better mentor/father figure to Jack—not only because he does care about them, but also because he literally could not forgive himself for how he acted and wanted to make up for it as much as he could.

obviously they do have a very complicated and rough relationship, but that’s literally every other relationship on this show, and it’s kind of agitating that they aren’t given the same nuance or understanding that the others get—especially when half of the discussions surrounding it can be boiled down to “bad man mean to helpless baby” (which is another thing on its own but ill stop here). I don’t mean this as an excuse or apologia for Dean’s behavior, but when you consider that he’s a severely traumatized person with a relatively small support system and a canon tendency to verbally abuse/emotionally distance himself from people as a coping mechanism (literally what he had a breakdown over in Purgatory) it’s a little easier to understand it.

everyone is quick to talk about how he said “Jack’s not family,” but nobody paid attention to the fact that in the script, he’s mildly horrified at Jack agreeing with him (if you truly meant an insult, wouldn’t you’d want the target to agree?). or that after jack restores the world from chuck’s damage, Dean not only fully expects/wants them to go back to the bunker with them (IE continue living there) but he also literally fantasizes about buying jack a big screen tv and recliners for saving the world. so id love if the fandom ixnayed on the “uncle” shit. ironically the only one of TFW to actually be Jack’s uncle is Cas, biologically

i think i like writing most about robert fischer:) ik it probably doesnt translate considering ive written most for jonathan crane but robert fischer is just such a little sweetheart to me,,, and can go both ways in being a sassy dom douchebag or being a sobbing daddy issues sub darling LOLLL i just think he has a lot of duality to delve into and develop (which ive definitely not done so far☠️) and it helps that his characterization in inception was also very surface level— i have a lot of wiggle room y’know??

i think im most proud of “dine & dash” which im aware probably no-one has read, but getting chris o’doyle’s sassy little dialogue down was like taming a wild beast,,, otherwise, considering my more well-known work, i rly liked writing “honey, i’m home”. i go crazy for the unhinged readers (if u couldnt alrdy tell lmaooo) and seeing jackson get messed with like that was a real treat.

i seriously just recommend anything by @mypoisonedvine,,, they’re literally genius & are the reason i started writing for cillian:)!! other mentions include kitten fics by @pictureinme and, a personal fave, @floralcyanidee’s jackson rippner mile-high club fic!!! these writers are all incredibly talented and im just blown away at their work every single time🫶

my thirst is such a big motivator for writing LMAO😭i wrote “guinea pig” ‘cus i wanted to absolute wreckkk jonathan crane and have him be a sub, and i got a 6.8k words long fic out of said thirst! music & book quotes motivate me a lot too— i spend sm time digging thru my pinterest for a good quote for the beginning of my fic its actually insane☠️and yes,,, im ashamed to say ive abandoned fics numerous times,,, but thats because they were series’, not oneshots. i get bored of series’ pretty quickly, ‘cause i feel kind of trapped by the initial dynamic or mood set in the first chapter. with oneshots, its like writing one long chapter of this trope and this kink or whatever and then its done, and i dont have to exhaust myself going back to tropes or kinks or storylines ive already done.

i think reading made me a better writer. expanding my vocabulary through the words of others was a biggie; seeing something be described in a certain way in someones story had me thinking of out-of-the-box ways to describe another thing (that doesn’t make much sense but lets pretend it does😭). i have many, many doubts about my work, like constantly, but i usually just suck it up. i sound like an attention whore but seeing the reposts & comments & tags on my other work reminds me people like what i’ve written before and certain people will enjoy what ive written now, so i should just finish my work for them. i also take like 100 years rereading my stuff until i think its good enough lmao,,,

ive kinda watched his whole roster of films (atleast ones i could actually find on the internet and not gone missing as a lost piece of media lmao) and i could probably write for any cillian character given i had a good idea and proper motivation. writing for certain characters is definitely harder for me to do though, so its likely i wont write for them/will take a long time to do so. an example is lenny miller— anna was such an insufferable movie to me, and lenny’s screentime wasn’t long at all, atleast not long enough for me to properly grasp his character. he just felt like a horny hardass fbi goof the whole time i could not take his 5’7 ass seriously😭cillian is smexy as hell in anna tho, so we’ll see😈another would probably be robert capa from sunshine,,, hes beautiful and deliciously musty in that but the whole spaceship setting kinda freaks me out (considering i know 0 zilch nada about space, spaceships, or anything of the sort, so it’d definitely be inaccurate). an au with him id definitely do, though! Also yesterday was my boyfriend's bday! So yes, there were a lot of birthday tickles (but my boyfriend wasn't the Lee🫣🤭)

When my boyfriend picked me up from the station to take me back to his place to hang out, he would occasionally reach over to tickle me. It didn't matter if it was my side, belly, neck, or thigh; just whatever was within reach

After getting to his place and exchanging Christmas gifts with his family, my boyfriend and I went downstairs for some "us" time. For his bday, I got him a scarlet red d20 with the initials of "R&G" on the 20 side, and he absolutely loved it 🥰💖

For his 2nd gift, I wore a spicy outfit and some fuzzy cuffs

I was really stepping out of my comfort zone for this because I rarely ever wear spicy clothes and I'm a bit hesitant with cuffs, but it was my boyfriend's birthday, and I wanted to make it a birthday to remember 🥰💖🥰

With the fuzzy cuffs, my boyfriend told me with things like that they are not meant to actually trap the person, only simulate it. The cuffs had 2 fail safes designed in it for easy and safe escape: the fuzz made it easy to slip my hands out and they was a detachable chain

With these cuffs, my boyfriend cuffed my hands behind my back, laid me on the couch, straddle me, and tickled me silly 😆🫣🤭💖 it was definitely a new experience without being able to use my hands to fight back, but it was actually really fun

I really appreciate that throughout this little tickle session, my boyfriend would always check up on me to make sure I was okay (I don't deserve him 😭💖) even tho this was so new to me, It was actually really fun 😆💖

Puzzles Gone Wrong AU: (belongs to pastel-player) A take on "evil Layton" where we ask what if he wasn't evil evil, but morally dubious. Basically he's a dictator now but he hasn't really done much harm to the city of London. He's making some questionable decisions, but... he's still the polite gentleman Layton who cares about his loved ones. Said loved ones have many conflicting feelings about him. Takes place at least 1 year after main trilogy, unclear when exactly. (Ao3 series)

Pastel wasn't doing anything with Clive in this AU so I picked him up and ran off then came back with a whole new design and stuff. Anything I make with PGW Clive that doesn't involve Timeline Hopper Clive's shenanigans is proobably canon to the AU. Basically I'm the ceo of this one guy within this AU and nothing else <3

Hi yall. BLACK OPS 6 SPOILERS AHEAD DO NOT ENGAGE IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE SPOILED. Otherwise, enjoy my thoughts

I’m doing good, on a bit of a break from writing but I’m trying to get back into writing. Anyways, I watched BO6 campaign. Have some thoughts.

#1-SEVATI IS MORROCAN MOMMY, she can dominate me 🤤🤤🤤❤️❤️❤️ her voice alone sucked me in even more than I already was, oh and her outfits are HAWT (my fav outside her previously shown tycoon outfit is her first Avalon mission outfit 😭). But she bad, REALLY BAD. She will FUCK YOU UP.

#2-Felix was great, got a laugh or two out of his and Sevati’s conversations in the safehouse.

#3-Troy Marshall was kickass. Nothing more or less.

#4-I still hate the mute OC hardon Treyarch/Raven have had since Cold War, but William “Case” Calderon is a more complete character and he’s got a *little personality* for a mute, mostly shown in the bit of clothing we can see him wear. Oh and he may have a similar hairstyle to Arthur Morgan if my hunch by a shot I took of his silhouette in the casino mission is right. Actually feel a little bad for him unlike “Bell” in CW about the twist or two of him.

#5-I may save the mindfuck twist of this Black Ops for separate post.

#6, post-final mission, am a bit disappointed it was “Caine” behind the computer instead of Raul, thought it was Raul in initial watchthrough but had to go back and rewatch.

#7, more should’ve been done and in a better way with Iraq. Would’ve liked for example to redo Desperate Measures but I don’t know, infiltrating Saddam’s government with Sevati. PS, CASINO MISSION I LIKED BEING ABLE TO PLAY AS ALL 3 NEW SUPPORTING CHARACTERS.

#8 last thought-wish more was said about Cold War and especially Menendez considering Panama.

Anyways that’s it for now, will do more posts in days to come I promise!

Initial Thoughts on TOMORROW X TOGETHER's The Name Chapter: Freefall

Ok so i just listened to TNC: Freefall in full and damn, okay. Really solid album, sonically. And i say sonically bc i haven't read up on the lyrics just yet (i don't think the eng trans are out yet ☹️)

Am loving how they're showcasing more of their vocals (txt lower register enthusiasts, we are being fed at last 😭) and the whole band/session feels of the music really emphasizes that.

can we take a minute to talk about beomkai's vocals?? bc i really think this might be their era 🥹 and seeing as all of the boys have at least 2 credits to their name in this album, it really feels like this is their sound, and their personal music preferences came through too

i'm on the fence about DILT's inclusion in the album though. we all know it was not a planned track at all but it was a really good opportunity for them to collaborate and have a fun summer track out before headlining lolla 2023.

that said, it just doesn't seem to fit in (at least sonically) in this album. i don't know if moving it higher up in the tracklist would have been better since i haven't read the lyrics yet but sonically, it might have worked more since the more powerful/complex sounding tracks are in the first half, imo

but overall, this album is full of surprises, and very good ones at that!! I'm sure i'll love it even more when i listen to it again but yeah, from the first listen alone, i would recommend this album!!!
