You know the cold well.

The bite of it is nostalgic, it's burn a tender reminder of your childhood and the howling winds that raised you.

Instead of veering away from the swirling ice and snow, you rush through it to get closer to your opponent. It burns and burns and burns—so cold it sings against your skin.

Your sword gleams, vicious silver, as you rush for the man at the center of the ice. Unafraid, you bare your teeth, unbidden, you launch yourself at him.

Metal clashes together, a lightning strike that sings up your arm. You shift and dance, snow swirling, baying. And then you see your opening—

You catch his calf with the wicked side of your sword. He buckles. You lunge for him, unforgiving and brutal. He falls back into the snow he's created.

His sword clatters out of reach.

You step on his forearm so he can't reach for it.

Your own sword comes up to his throat.

His eye, as blue and dark as the night sky, catches yours.

A fissure of pain sears through you, where your Mark is, on the bend of your neck. Light bursts from it. You cry out and the pain flares into a vicious burning.

It's—it's never done that before—

It only happens when—

When the pain fades to a throb, you look down beneath you at the man, laid out in the snow. His hair is a blueraven fan against the white. His chest is heaving, shirt askew, where his own Mark is burning and glowing a vicious shade of red below his collarbones.

You must look horrified, because he laughs through his breathlessness.

"And just when I thought I'd never find you." He says, sitting up onto his elbows to bring the tip of your blade closer to his throat;

"Hello, my soul."

Watched the RWBY x Justice League crossover with my wife and ngl it wasn’t bad! At least for the RWBY fans. I can see this being not the best for JL fans

But the RWBY content we got from the characters was honestly really nice to see! It felt like a sorta breath of fresh air after V8 and V9 destroyed me psychologically and physically

Basically it’s a good movie if u wanna see somethin stupid. U really gotta just let things happen as they happen, and accept whatever’s goin on as fact. A lot of nodding along n just rollin with the insanity.

I will say the best part for me? The fight scenes oh they were ALL bangers, loved each and every one of em.
