Nico and Percy's dynamic through the series is eternally funny to me, because it's just. like.

Percy's having a constant mental struggle between his fatal flaw of loyalty with a promise he made to Bianca to protect Nico, versus his Big 3 kid desire to maim other Big 3 kids / Poseidon descendant urge to totally maim Nico specifically. He hates Nico so so much. He thinks Nico's annoying and weird at best, and creepy/sketchy when he's older. The only positive thoughts Percy has towards Nico are "He's Bianca's brother and Bianca was my friend and I owe her/He's Hazel's brother and Hazel is my friend and would kill me if I was mean to him," "He's a powerful asset and useful ally (if questionable)," and "He's kinda pathetic and I feel maybe a little bad about it." Percy has multiple occasions throughout the series where he strongly considers - and on one occasionally actually goes through with - throttling Nico.

Meanwhile, Nico is following around Percy like a lost puppy. He explicitly can never bring himself to even dislike anything about Percy no matter how hard he tries. He has a whole bit in BoO where he's mentally going "UGH he's so stupid BUT IT'S ENDEARING HOW DARE HE." He's totally smitten. He's making deals with his dad for Percy. He's making convoluted plans to help Percy stand a chance against Kronos. During the entirety of BoTL it's like he's playing tsundere - "I'm helping NOT PERCY SPECIFICALLY with this quest! Me helping Percy would be SILLY because I DEFINITELY HATE HIM." Then he proceeds to show up to Percy's birthday party to basically ask him on a weird date and spend the entire next book scrambling around trying to help him or protect him or impress him. And Percy could not give less of a shit.

Just. That dynamic is so funny to me. Percy is the founder of the Nico Protection Club in that he's the one they're all protecting Nico from and meanwhile Nico is throwing himself at Percy to the point where the literal god of gay love calls him out on it.

idk she sends royal guards out to snatch up horror in the middle of the day (nightmare told her to make it dramatic and tense :3) (all of snowdin would probably follow in concern because OMG WHERE IS SANS GOING????) and then yeah. just like that horrors gone! nightmare probably didn't even give him a chance to say bye to paps. undyne never ends up getting the food nightmare promised because hes a bitchass like that (and papyrus probably ends up taking up the full leader role of food provider for snowdin (if undyne even lets snowdin stay out of her control) good luck for him!)

so fran’s car is apparently now 2.5kg heavier which makes sense because of all the crashes and something i’m noticing is that some fans aren’t grasping the fact that Williams has been building around Alex, that is his team.

He’s the one signed on until 2027, and yes, there’s always a chance of them dropping him, but out of the combined point of the 2022, 2023 and 2024 season, which is 53 points, Alex scored 43 of them!!he has always been their top scorer in these last three seasons! In one season alone (2023) Alex scored more points (27 points) than George and Latifi (23 points in 2021).

through the season we saw them prioritize Alex over Logan, which as much as we can hate on it, made sense. we saw it so vividly in australia and with Alex getting the upgrades before Logan in the following races. if i’m remembering correctly, there was one race where they had the same upgrades and guess what, they failed so bad that they had to remove them!

anyway, getting off topic, franco joined williams when both cars were equal and we can see that, but ultimately, williams is back at where they started: with an overweight car.

so yes, we can always circle back to logan not being able to drive that tractor of a car (i think it was like 8kg heavier at the beginning of the season) and williams *cough james cough* attempt to blame the driver

i honestly don’t even know where i was going with this anymore i genuinely lost the plot, but i have a very heavy dislike for james vowels and how he, in a way, changed the perception of logan to the media and in the same vein, his team.

bottom line is, Alex will always be prioritized within the team even when James can’t seem to manage to drivers with potential because it was easier to manage one driver when you let the other sink, but since both current williams drivers are good he’s struggling

this isn’t like, a hate thing i love the williams drivers and franco is doing an amazing job with the cards he was dealt with and i wish him nothing but the best, but this is just how williams has been for the entire season

Just thought of some hurt comfort after the ridiculous day i had, like reader being at the limit of their patience and a simple small thing breaking the straw and having them breaking down from stress? anxiety? being overwhelmed? just all of that and fl seeing them and panicking, what does he do? who hurt them? and all reader wants is comfort and maybe a quiet place.

also idrk if this is where i read it from but laying down on his chest and he makes those soft rumbles that are like cat purrs? Immaculate.

honestly, Foul Legacy initially panics when he sees you in such a state, too. his brain just momentarily short circuits, overcome with worry and fear and a need to help, his instincts screaming at him to make you feel better, make things right. but he snaps back to reality with a fierce shake of his head, approaching you slowly and kneeling to your height with a soft, tentative croon. when you only gasp for breath, Legacy leans in and gently nudges his head against your shoulder before carefully gathering you into his arms. his touch is light and delicate so he doesn't alarm or startle you, claws running gingerly up and down your spine as he begins to purr. it's a constant, steady sound, your ear pressed against the ruff of fur around his shoulders, and the quiet rumble slowly brings you back to earth, grounding you like a soft cocoon as you blink, exhausted

Foul Legacy's arms are wrapped gently around you, keeping you close and surrounding you so it's just you and him, no one else. his talons move from your back to your face, giving your cheeks little nudges and pokes to keep you from slipping back into a daze, even a few sweet licks here and there. you just want to sleep, that's all- sleep somewhere safe and warm and away from everyone but him, and Legacy purrs soothingly, taking careful hold of your wrist and bringing your hand to rest over his heart. it beats with a steady, echoing thump, a pulse amidst the vibrations of his rumbles. Legacy gently pulls you down, snuggling you next to him and tucking the blankets all around your body. you snuggle up to his chest, and his face presses against the top of your head with a relieved sigh, holding you close and firm so you can sleep your worries away

tomorrow, he'll find out if someone hurt you. but for now, your comfort is more important
