This is super random, but I feel like Cornelius Robinson is fluent in German, and speaks a tiny bit of Japanese. Possibly a sprinkling of Italian, too, but only what his wife has taught him. 👀

It's hard being the new kid...
Sort of "modern" HL AU
Meet Iñaki "MC" Martinez Cariaga! She's the new transfer student from the United States. She was late for the sorting ceremony so she's currently houseless right now, hence the gray tie. Unfortunately for MC, her ancient magic is a magnet for attracting trouble and getting her into situations she rather not be in, sort of like Percy Jackson.
Fun Facts:
Normally her eyes are brown, but ever since she ended up in the UK, if she's around the presence of high Ancient Magic activity, her own ancient magic activates, turning her eyes a magical blue. They also turn that color when she's using it. At the advice of Prof. Fig, she tries to keep a small flow of it running consciously if she's not at a nearby ancient magical source.
She's also big runes fan! Since her family comes from both Central and South America, she has a big love of studying Mayan glyphs and Incans quipus (they use that instead of runes to conducting their magic). She also knows some indigenous words in Kaqchikel and Quechua; some for fun and some for spell casting. Seeing Norse runes in person was the one thing she was definitely looking forward when going to Hogwarts.
While she doesn't originally goes by MC back in the States, it became her deferred nickname/shorten version of her double surname Martinez Cariaga to use at Hogwarts. She's gotten tired of both professors and peers taking too much time to say it or have them accidently butcher her surnames (or first name even). Her nickname of MC is used so often that it gets to the point that barely anyone remembers that her name is Iñaki 🤣
Ancient Magic & Hogwarts Castle
I headcanon that the Hogwarts Founders were ancient magic users who build Hogwarts and never told anyone about their abilities. Since the place is humming with Ancient Magic, MC's eyes are always a constant magical blue. It's when she leaves Hogwarts grounds that she has to focus on maintaining that magical flow.
The Big Move, Fourth Year & the Reserved New Girl
Unfortunately, Iñaki's dad lost his job during the first layoffs of the Great Recession in early 2008. Thankfully, he had a buddy who hooked him with a new temp job in London, causing the Martinez Cariaga family to move across the pond from New York to London during the end of summer. While she loved the idea of traveling and going to Europe (and maybe even learn more about the different ancient runes used there), she wasn't too pleased at the idea of moving abroad and leaving everything she knows and loves.
Instead of starting her freshman year with her close friend group at Excelsior (NYS magical school system, Ilvermorny is the New England private magical prep school - the most famous, oldest and only school most people know outside the US), Iñaki is starting 4th year at Hogwarts.
Note: The words between "< >" is spoken in Spanish. MC comes from a Spanish-speaking Latino household. If the words are not in between "< >" assume she's speaking English.
6: At the end of MC's first week:
MC:
<¡Hola Mami!>
< I'm fine. ¿And you? >
< Nothing interesting happened this week. >
< ¡NO! ¡It wasn't like I fought a dragon or a troll this week. >
< ¡Just because I faced the Jersey Devil in 6th grade or the Headless Horseman in 7th OR befriended Champ at Lake Champion in 8th doesn't mean weird things always happens to me! >
<¡I'm fine Mami! Nothing happened...>
<¡I had to Mami! ¡He told me he wanted to give me a "proper Hogwarts welcome" before we started! I told him "That's how we say 'Hello' in New York." Made it too easy for me by saying his spells out loud. The prof said I was a great example of how magical duels are different in the New World with our non-verbals...>
<He was cool with losing. ¡Sebastián even gave me a tour of the magical village nearby and introduced me to the "dueling club" the school has! >
< We dueled together…¡It was fun! I almost forgot how much I miss home… >
8:
MC:
< I still want to go home. >
< No Mami. I don't mean visiting you guys back in London. Home as in New York. >
< ¿Why should I make friends if we're only going to be here for a year?>
< ¿It's only a year...right? >
< ¿Right? >
< I gotta go...I promised my classmates I'll study with them for our exam next week. >
< I love you too. >
"Bye."
*Flips phone closed*
*Ends call*
......
MC's trying...but she is rather homesick.
She's now stuck in Hogwarts and isn't too keen on making friends since she has no clue whether she'll be there for a year or not - it all depends whether if they extend her father's work contract and she's isn't keen on making friends if she's only there for a few months in her mind. It gets to the point where Sebastian trying to friend her is like an unstoppable force meeting an unmovable object. (He ends up winning though when she accidently slips up and calls him her friend later on in the year).
For now though, MC is a very angsty teen right now and had her world flipped upside down.
At least she can take out her angst in dueling club 😅
I want to thank @myokk for listening to my ideas about my MC and to my sibling who needed to borrow my laptop for work (leading me to doodle and actually make a digital drawing on my tablet -that I use as a second monitor for work- since I couldn't edit some papers on those days). Without them this drawing wouldn't have happened.
I'm never doing this ever again because I a bit too perfectionist for art and I hated the number of layers I needed. It was supposed to just be a SIMPLE digital doodle!!!! Instead I made this 😭. Never again. I'm sticking to my pen doodles. I was bored out of my mind and I was either reading or doodling while my sis was testing out her new laptop and I was on stand by in case she needed me.

A dime for your thoughts, try to explain the entire vK fan-family as if I'm a stranger. Also pls tell me about random headcanons you have for each and every member (if you wanna).
alright, have a seat. i don't have presentation panels, because I am too lazy for that. maybe eventually.
At some point in history (around 1860) a savvy Austrian entrepreneur Erster Bauer decided to take his trade up to the next level and travelled to Japan where he had many adventures nobody back in Europe would ever, including getting almost killed by local wildlife and promptly rescued by a member of the Asogi swordsmanship tradition. This impressed our guy so much that he wanted to show it the Japanese way and went fully "Hey, what's your sword called? My family will bear its name forever!" Europe has a long tradition of inventing names and terms by misspelling the old ones, so our merchant-adventurer went down in history as the first ever von Karma, causing several geographers trying to pinpoint Karma on the map.
So the entire von Karma family is this one guys fault, but he hadn't fucked up yet.
Erster von Karma, as the dude was called, got moderately wealthy in his business and upon his return to Europe he figured he's had enough of adventure for three lifetimes and he started a family. Since he was a bit of megalomaniac ass, his wife didn't really stay around, but he got to keep the only child that survived into adulthood: Frieda.
Frieda von Karma was a daughter of many expectations and pushed limits. Born 1893 she had managed to finish her art studies in Vienna before the WW1 managed to rolled around. She had moved from Austria to the newly founded Germany (Bavaria specifically) after the first war where she opened an art gallery (which served as her home) and worked as a renowned art critic. The gallery did not survive the Nazi party and its successor did not get as famous or profitable, nevertheless Frieda managed to set her family well off financially for generations. What is today known as the Gallery Hall in the house features mostly her artwork, most prominent being the row of portraits of family members.
She married Bernard von Karma (because the man could not pass up the opportunity to get a "von" in his name), a civic engineer who had taken it upon himself to improve their home as much as possible. His combined love for secret passages and "alternative approach" to electricity grounding had effectively booby trapped the entire mansion, which resulted in a) the subsequent generations of von Karmalings to be extremely and acutely aware of their surrounding at any given time, b) no burglary attempt at the von Karma estate had ever been successful, there is even a record from 1938 of a thief who called for help and promised to surrender to the police if he was safely led out of the house.
Their oldest son Herman von Karma was raised very strictly and "shaped to perfection", as Frieda had no lesser expectations of her children than she had of herself. He was sent to study abroad, first in Great Britain, later to the United States, and he had never truly returned to his home country, as he remained across the Atlantic as a part of the diplomatic ensemble. In fact he frequently described his brief visits to Germany as being a stranger in his homeland. He was rather a temperamental man and the several politically motivated assassination attempts on his life did absolutely nothing to ease his growing paranoia. He was quite the shot, reportedly, and several wannabe assailants learned the hard way that he knew a lot both about anatomy and how to wield an improvised melee weapon. The bodies had been found many years later after his death during the garden renovations of the von Karma mansion in the US.
Their younger son Siegfried von Karma seemed to be the promising exemplary child much like his older brother, but where Herman studied at Oxford, Siegfried studied at Aberdeen and became far too influenced by the style of Scottish Highlanders. His love of fencing and finished studies of natural sciences made him a valued police investigator. After sustaining severe injuries he was forcibly retired and he returned to Germany, where his retirement did not apply. There he teamed up with forensic expert Saikoll Edgich and they later published a comprehensive overview of their co-joined investigative methodologies in the Psychology of Murder and the Murder of Psychology which proceeded to be of great help to many people who had to solve a homicide without much tangible evidence, although it had never made it to become a textbook. Its authors, however, had a growing resentment between which resulted in an ugly confrontation which Edgich by an accident did not survive. Due to Siegfried’s less uptight and more free-minded nature causing him to clash with his mother Frieda harshly in later years, he and his family lived in a separate wing at the von Karma estate, known also as the Thistle Wing. After his mother’s death it was him who cared for the estate as who, as Herman rarely visited.
Herman somehow found the time to marry and produce three children, but he had very little time to actually raise them. For that reason his oldest son Friedrich von Karma spent his early years under the iron hand of his grandmother Frieda. In his mid-teens when he was “no longer to be such trouble” he was moved to live with his father in the US, which he thought would be a relief. He was wrong. For details, though, you should ask @infamouslydorky, because ultimately she is the idea-parent of Friedrich. What’s for certain is that Friedrich became a career politician, probably partially inspired and partially pressured into by his father, and that his hair is absolutely everywhere, since he has so much of it. He did not marry and does not have any children (that he knows of).
Friedrich’s younger brother Manfred von Karma was also brought up in Germany by Frieda and had the unfortunate trait of not appreciating standing mdoel to her, so he was the less favoured child. As such he got compared to his uncle Siegfried a lot, which culminated in his decision to also pursue a career in law, ultimately making him the most feared prosecutor both in the United States and the half of Europe he deemed worthy of visit. In the long term his instilled perfectionism lead to only his wife Ilona von Karma being able to put up with him, and also to him killing a defense attorney who broke his perfect trial streak by securing him a court penalty. Being the epitome of mental health, he also took care of (though did not adopt) said attorney’s orphaned son, and had a bullet in his right shoulder for 15 years, which eventually got him convicted of the murder he had committed. The entire family prefers not to talk about the whole incident.
Griselda von Karma is the youngest of Herman’s children, and unlike her brothers she had never really spent any time under her father’s influence, so she turned to be Frieda’s perfect granddaughter. Appreciative of arts of all kind, she was mostly drawn towards books. Gaining Masters in history at the mature age of 14 she began a successful career as an archivist and well renowned book critic. She added the extensive library to the von Karma estate, though a large part of it contains rare and prized books, therefore being off limits to majority of the people, family included. She has failed to have children, because she hates loud noises.
Wolfgang von Karma is the older son of Siegfried (if you remember him) and adored his grandmother’s art greatly. Unfortunately his Father was the family’s black sheep, so he did not get introduced to the secret world of oil pains and temperas, so he turned towards photography. He is, technically, a studied chemist, but besides developing his photographs he had never really worked in any field resembling chemistry at all. His brief adventure with textile dyes at university introduced him to the Weber sisters at the textile factory, who in turn introduced him to punch cards which set off his entire career as one of the pioneers programmers. He married the youngest of the Weber triplets Nadele von Karma, but he’s kept a close relationship with her sisters too. With their help he keeps the the large pack of various dogs, making it very easy for little von Karmalings to get a puppy. He has a reputation of being uncharacteristically easy-going for being a von Karma
His younger and more ambitious brother is Markov von Karma in whom is dangerously combined Frieda’s over-achieving perfectionist upbringing and Siegfried’s love to fight. From early on he’s sat on career of an investigative journalist, first couple of years he had followed his father alongside his investigations, eventually he eloped across the world on his own. He also frequently participates in fencing and swordsmanship competition, although he had be banned from several of them for his conviction that he had gotten from Siegfried that a good swordsman is the alive one, not the one that refuses to hit his opponent with a chair. Markov keeps minimal contact with his family and adamantly refuses to show up to any family gatherings. The von Karmas know he is alive only because of the meticulously arriving birthday postcards, the occasional article signed MvK, and the rare call from Wolfgang who uses his younger brother instead of Wikipedia. He has married his editor Edith Vin Korek for tax benefits and healthcare insurance. Despite Edith living in Los Angeles where the US family estate is, they’ve managed to keep the marriage secret (or rather they did not bother informing anyone).
Manfred’s oldest daughter, Helena von Karma, spent the first five years of her life with her mother in Germany where Ilona cared for Frieda to whom age had not been kind. After Frieda’s passing they both returned to the States, where Mafred tried and subsequently failed to be a present and attentive father. Helena expressed her wish to study law in Germany, thus returning to the family estate once again which was now in the far more liberate care of Siegfried who deliberately ignored Aurelia’s desire for upkeeping his mother’s restrictions. Upon passing her bar exam at the age of sixteen, Helena continued to practide law as a prosecutor in Germany, Austria, and eventually Switzerland where she married her court rival Arnborg Prouvele-von Karma. Upon the birth of their first child they agreed to raise the girl as far away from family shenanigans as possible and moved to Canada, which ultimately turned out not to be far enough.
Leonore von Karma is Manfred’s second daughter. you tell me, Ly, what’s going on with Leonore, because I’ve gotten kinda lost. However, she is the first fortunate child not to meet Frieda von Karma and her fierce pervasive perfectionism, so she might have gotten a breather.
The youngest of Manfred’s children is Franziska von Karma, who unlike her older siblings had the luxury of spending her early childhood years with her father, but at the cost of her mother’s passing within her 3rd year of life. Much like Helena she was a law prodigy and followed her father’s footsteps to become a prosecutor. She studied international distance courses and passed her bar exams in Germany at 13 years of age. Since that was where she lived (now without father) over the course of her studies, her pre-teens were overseen by Griselda and Siegfried, who for an unfathomable reason thought that gifting a 9 years old girl with weapons was a good idea, and it is a miracle that she settled for crop and whip and not a flail. After the shocking conviction of her father, Franziska had spent a very self-destructive year trying to prove herself better then everyone, especially her (supposedly deceased) adopted brother, and after that went on a little soul-searching work-trip across the world. Now she works closely with Interpol and is doing her very best not to turn into another iteration of her aunt or great-grandmother.
Gandulf von Karma is Wolfgang’s only son who has never had any ambition to travel. He graduated suma cum laude physics and engineering at 17 and got himself promptly hired as an assistant at German Aerospace Center. In addition to that he’s used to serve as a consultant for several sci-fi productions, but he quickly abandoned that line of work when he found out that it meant talking to “actual people” and not just engineers. Most of his free time he spends helping his three mums with training the dogs for competitions. At some point in his life he’s gotten married to Katzcherine von Karma and even had children with her, but he has no idea how or when that happened. Both parties are quite certain it was an accident, thus they divorced fairly soon after someone reminded them it was an option.
Nikolle von Karma is so far the only daughter of Helena. While she is decided to also become a lawyer, she isn’t so sure about being a prosecutor, but she keeps her options open, because auntie Franziska has made a very good impression. She is currently living in Canada with her parents and is trying to soften up her mother to also let her have a whip. So far it seems that her two dogs Unicorn and Bigger Phoenix will have to do to protect her.
Ilse von Karma is the Gandulf’s firstborn. Her promising early earned degree in several languages is used solely to yell responsibility even into those members of family who pretended not to understand German and English. With grandfather Siegfried being of advanced age, Griselda attempting to claim the role of the iron ruling matriarch, and Gundalf barely being aware where he left his shoes, it is now Ilse who is de facto running the estate.
Jörgun von Karma is Gandulf’s second child. His plan is to become a politician. Being too young for it at the moment, he is chasing a politology degree, and also every skirt he sees. He also pursues classical ballroom dancing and has already won several competitions.
Youngest of Gandulf’s children is Gretchen von Karma who is living in the childhood fantasy of being a princess and is playing a matchmaker to everyone she meets.
with this I’ve exhausted the list. Headcanons some other day, this is too long already

The REAL Ending CLOY
This is my headcanon and you can’t tell me otherwise. The epilogue in Switzerland is set a few years after the events of that piano concert. They have already found a way to be together more permanently. To me the house doesn’t seem like a vacation house, it seems like a home home.
There is that photo of Se-ri on the bridge, not something one would frame for themselves. RJH definitely lives there. Check out the north Korean coffee kettle and other souvenirs as well. This is the sort of stuff one would have in their home.
The only thing holding RJH to North Korean is his parents, the fact that they could be killed if he were to defect. After they die, he has no reason to stay. We’ve already been shown that he is resourceful and would know exactly how to get out. Not to mention that everything in north Korean runs on money, if you have connections like Se-ri and RJH do....anything is possible. And to me these two people with all their power, well they would find a way.
Dan’s mother travels out of the country a lot as well for business. I think the 2 weeks is the longest trip Se-ri takes while RJH’s parents are alive. It’s not the only trip of the year. I doubt her employees would be saying “you’re going to Switzerland again??” if it was a once a year sort of deal they wouldn’t think she had a man. They even say “it’s lasting a while this time”. Come on who in the world would think it’s a relationship if their boss goes to switzerland for 2 weeks a year. It’s her favorite 2 weeks of the year because of it being uninterrupted time.
Well with her wealth and his determination, and connections via his family, I'm sure they'll find a way eventually, either it is his parents passing away (since it has been about 6 years between him going back to NK and the epilogue meetup), or him somehow getting a long term mentoring position at Switzerland. You’re telling me Dan’s mom a department store owner can swing to Europe anytime, and Se-ri who created a whole scholarship for her man can’t swing something in collaboration with Papa Ri?
I got the impression the student performing his song on stage was a full-time student in Switzerland. RJH is not studying abroad but is teaching NK scholarship winners. Seri has been traveling back and forth a lot but these two weeks are the longest continual time they have together.
When Seri first sees him in Switzerland she asks how dangerous his journey was, and he didn’t answer, just said he got on the wrong train but reached his destination. “Destination” implies a final location to me, not just a two-week stay. For two people who find it torturous to be apart for even a moment, destination would not have been thrown around like that. It could’ve taken his Dad some time to manage the politics to make a permanent teaching position with the National Symphony. He did see his son cry in the car after leaving her. That man is powerful, the 3rd most powerful man in North Korean. A political manipulation genius, a man always one step ahead of the others. He got his son and 5 people in and out of South Korea. You best believe he can make it happen. He’s not going to sit back and leave his only son living without his only dream. Plus RJH was never a flag waving patriotic North Korean anyway. He already expressed that he wanted to stay with SeRi in South Korea, have a child that looks just like her. It’s kdrama script writing 101 to not have your lead character mention a deep desire such as this one unless its foreshadowing or serves a larger purpose. And Park Ji Eun is no noob writer.
Let’s look at the way the show itself references fate and destiny. Regardless of how impossible it may seem, these two always managed to find each other again. Fate is pushing them together and is on their side. I don’t think fate wants them to meet 2 weeks a year. Fate didn’t make them meet in Switzerland, in North Korea, in South Korea, and in Switzerland again for 2 weeks a year for the rest of their lives. I can’t entertain that. A lot of people think that the epilogue on the hill and when she meets him for the first time again in Switzerland with the parachute are the same time frame. I don’t think so. I really do think the piano concert is the ending and the picnic is the epilogue. It’s years from then, when everything has been sorted about how to be together permanently and it’s a window in to happy every after. Just look at their body language and expressions in the last scene, they are totally at peace and seem to have gotten everything they wanted. Even the music radiates peace. Listen to the lyrics of Sigriswil that play as the camera pans out “wandering this strange night, won’t you be here by me? now I hold your hands, with you I’ll be alright...how does it feel, my friend? It’s been a long day and night” THEY ARE NO LONGER WANDERING ALONE THAT IS THE POINT. period. It was a “long day and night, but now I hold your hand” ... how does it finally feel to have your happy ever after....my friend. IT REEKS OF OPTIMISM and closure. In film making the atmosphere says everything about what is unsaid in the script.
You best believe he won’t leave a stone unturned to be with her, see her grow old and live in the house of dreams with their twins. Just the fact that he vocalized this thought in the show leads me to believe that it did indeed happen.
Believe in what the show is telling us to believe. What it’s showing us, not telling us even. That love will always find a way.
Cloy’s ending also reminds me of very heavily of (spoiler) that of “my love from the stars”. It was written by Park Ji-eun, the same writer as CLOY. So yes they are forced to be apart in that show too, but he finds his way back and each time they meet its for longer and longer and its implied that one day it will be forever. If an alien could find a wormhole to make it back to his love interest, north korea isn’t looking too bad. Same thing with her other star crossed lovers show “legend of the blue sea”. The mermaid finds him again against all odds and they live happily ever (plus a baby). Hey I’m just saying that the precedent has been set on how this seperation works through our writers own works. Having seen all of Park Ji Eun I know exactly how she structures her endings. It’s almost always the same. The mermaid made it back, the alien made it back...north korea is where we draw the line? They’re only apart for awhile till they figure it out, and they work hard to do so.
Whatever this image is from TVN left it unaired. They shot something they had to pull back. My crack theory brain says she looks a bit pregnant. Actually, that ain’t even a crack theory, I stand behind it. Son yejin is so slim, and judging by the material of the dress it just wouldn’t fall like that unless they were trying to make her look pregnant. Like LISTEN, just LISTEN to me. They put in the effort to get the actors in these outfits we have never seen before, they even gave seri flowers...whY?? There are no other purely promo shots that didn’t have footage attached. The only ones I can think of are the ones they took in front of a greenscreen for the photoframes inside their house. THIS WAS A REAL SCENE THAT WAS DELETED. South Korean dramas pre-film certain scenes (like the swiss ones) and live film the others to make slight changes to the storyline based on audience reaction. During airing there was quite a lot of political backlash a la north korea.
There are some stills TVN released that weren’t screencaps. But ALL of them were in outfits relating to scenes we have seen, such as this one. It just would make no sense for them to go out of there way to get this image on the jam packed expensive swiss schedule and not just do greenscreen in korea like they did for all the other promo material UNLESS it was a real scene.
So you want more evidence for plot points that indicated the original, unaired, together forever in Switzerland ending?
Let’s look at some details, at one point in Episode 14 when Jeong Hyeok's father is meeting with the bad guy Senior Colonel who tries to use photos of Jeong Hyeok in Korea as a bargaining chip, he says "You should retire quietly. Using your health as an excuse won't raise any suspicions." now whilst this may be a casual reference to him being old and that health issues are plausible, it's also possible Jeong Hyeok's father has had some long term illness they've not mentioned which would add to why it wouldn't raise suspicions.
The main reason I thought of this is it would sort of line up with some other details, in the finale when they're deciding whether to send them back or not, at the NIS briefing they mention how the North has requested keeping it quiet and confidential, they mention "They want the confidentiality term to be five years. They're being sensitive about it because one of them is a high-ranking officers son". Then if we fast forward toward the end when Se-ri is receiving the timed messages, a year passes after her birthday message from Jeong Hyeok, after that scene we see Jeong Hyeok having his farewell meal with the townspeople and preparing to leave after being accepted as a pianist for the National Symphony Orchestra, presumably around the same time as Se-ris birthday given that scene was right before. Se-ri then comes up with her Switzerland Music academy idea probably a few weeks or month or so after she read RJH's text about meeting and then it tells as it's one year later, Se-ri waits but doesn't meet him and returns home, her mum says "It breaks my heart to see you return in disappointment every time" which if that's a correct translation it means it's been more than once by this point. Add up this entire timeline....guess what it comes out to. FIVE YEARS. That’s how long it takes them to sort out a permanent solution for their problem.
When he chooses to defect it will be much easier for him considering he’s making trips to Switzerland already. All he would have to do is walk into a South Korean embassy in Zurich. They have an open door policy for North Koreans, he doesn’t even need to cross the DMZ again.
You want even MORE proof? Okay my friend, I’ll bite. Why are there photos of a couple with children?? Honestly come on I really don’t have to say more.
They had to leave the ending open. Due to the political situation, they couldn’t exactly show RJH, a North Korean, defecting. Pretty sure our buddy Kim Jong-un would not be chill with that. However ridiculous it is, the show had multiple attacks on it while it was running by political parties saying it violated the “national security act”.
The ending was clearly cleverly re-edited to be less explicit so the viewer can read between the lines but the show-runners can protect themselves from lawsuits and public sentiment regarding a sort of maybe illegal situation. If you believe they met for two weeks a year for the rest of their lives, you don’t know RiRi Ri-eally well ;)

Would Miles Edgeworth Recieve Mia Fey’s Blessing
One of the things I notice in Narumitsu headcanons, stories, comics, etc. on here is the idea that Mia would, for some reason, not support Phoenix dating Edgeworth. Now, Mia had died in Turnabout Sisters, meaning that she no longer has any business going into Phoenix’s life. Though, for the sake of using this argument, I’m going to use canon reasons for why I find this idea to be false. I’m also going to clarify that this is Phoenix Wright from the trilogy, so no one can use the “this is before *insert trilogy thing that happened* before Edgeworth was no longer an asshat.” We can all agree that Miles Edgeworth stopped being a complete and total asshat after Turnabout Goodbyes, right? Are we all in agreement to that? Good. Can we also agree that, due to Miles Edgeworth’s trauma he was dealing with, him and Phoenix had little to no interaction and could not have the foundations of any relationship whatsoever? Yes? Good. We are now on the same page, meaning that Phoenix could not be in a relationship of any kind with Miles Edgeworth before Turnabout Goodbyes where most of everyone would be raising some eyebrows at the idea of Phoenix Wright being in a relationship with Miles Edgeworth during his asshat days. Moving on.
Let’s start off with a possible time for Phoenix to start a relationship, ignoring the Dahlia/Iris situation because maybe Phoenix decided to settle down on a relationship despite his ex girlfriend drama from college. Since Miles Edgeworth would not be allowing contact of any kind with Phoenix until after Turnabout Goodbyes, we can start it out between Turnabout Goodbyes and the time he wrote “Miles Edgeworth Chooses Death.” Now, what would Mia know about Miles Edgeworth at this point? To understand this, we need to go down the list of times when Mia had met with Miles Edgeworth. The first time was Turnabout Beginnings, being the reason why so many people think she would not support Phoenix having a relationship with him. But then, we also have Turnabout Sisters and Turnabout Samurai to consider. In Turnabout Sisters, Mia had possessed Maya in order to expose Redd White by handing Phoenix a list of people he had blackmailed, which Phoenix had presented to the court. In Turnabout Samurai, Mia had appeared to help Phoenix investigate and gain information from Cody, who becomes a valuable witness. She also appears with Phoenix during the second trial of Turnabout Samurai. She has witnessed Edgeworth’s general way of prosecuting, which was very normal for the most part. No withholding evidence or anything like what happened in Turnabout Sisters, if Mia ever knew what he did, or Turnabout Beginnings, which Mia did say that Edgeworth was affected by, after Terry Fawles’ suicide. Also, keep in mind that five years have passed since then, meaning that Mia can see some maturity on Edgeworth’s part. Wouldn’t be enough to consider him trustworthy, but not enough to automatically not take Phoenix’s word for it, if he says that Edgeworth isn’t a bad person. After this is Turnabout Goodbyes where Mia is never shown at any point, since Maya cannot summon her.
With this, we can conclude that, while Mia does have reason to not consider Edgeworth a trustworthy man for Phoenix’s affections, due to Turnabout Beginnings, it’s also not enough to declare him as a bad person for Phoenix. If Phoenix has, indeed, known Miles Edgeworth as a child and had been around him more times than Mia was channeled, she has no reason to doubt Phoenix’s judgement. After all, if she was to speculate what kind of a man Miles Edgeworth is based on what she has seen from him, she doesn’t have a reason to say “no.” There is the possibility that Mia may’ve gotten the story of Edgeworth through Maya, but even that would also include the time Miles Edgeworth had helped out Phoenix in Turnabout Samurai. As for Turnabout Sisters, considering that Mia knows of Miles Edgeworth’s involvement with DL-6, she’d conclude that he was blackmailed by Redd White, who is known for blackmailing prosecutors, judges and all kinds of higher-ups, including Marvin Grossberg, who abandoned Maya’s defense for a painting. Between trusting your sister’s protection under a man that values his painting over her little sister and Phoenix trusting a man that was blackmailed by the same guy for being a possible killer of his father, Mia really wouldn’t have any room to talk. If anything, she’d be more understanding than anyone of Phoenix’s feelings. He trusts Edgeworth despite what kind of man he became. How can Mia not understand something like that? Doesn’t she also have someone that’s a prosecutor, who also became very bitter and cold after a certain case that will be brought back later after Turnabout Goodbyes? No, not Diego, I mean the other one that is Chief Prosecutor.
Now, at this point, Mia would question Phoenix if he is sure that Edgeworth is someone he can trust. Though, at the end of the day, Mia knows she doesn’t really know who Edgeworth is. Even Maya knows more of who Edgeworth is than Mia does. If Maya is supportive of Phoenix being in a relationship with Edgeworth, then I don’t see why Mia couldn’t be. I also don’t see why Maya wouldn’t be supportive of their relationship, after Turnabout Goodbyes, so there shouldn’t be a problem. Mia will have no problem. She trusts Phoenix and Maya. It does not matter that Edgeworth was an asshat in Turnabout Beginnings, because that was five years ago and, as far as Mia is concerned, Edgeworth has not proven to not be trustworthy. Even if she knew of what Miles Edgeworth did in Turnabout Sisters and Turnabout Samurai, she’d also know that Miles Edgeworth was likely blackmailed in Turnabout Sisters and helped out phoenix in Turnabout Samurai. Mia would especially give Edgeworth her blessing, if she knew what had happened in Turnabout Goodbyes. In conclusion, Mia Fey would be supportive of Phoenix’s relationship with Edgeworth?
What about the events of Justice For All then? Wouldn’t Edgeworth, leaving the fake suicide note and Phoenix hurt and angry be enough to damage any blessing Mia would have for Edgeworth? Absolutely not! First off, we need to clarify when Phoenix would’ve been able to start any relationship with Edgeworth. Since Miles Edgeworth was studying abroad in Europe until Farewell my Turnabout, we can conclude that it would’ve been then. At this point, only Pearl would’ve been able to summon Mia and there is no way Phoenix would break the News to her, unless he wants a whoopin from a passionate Pearly, who thinks Phoenix is Maya’s special someone. Now, Phoenix could break the news to Mia, while she is being summoned, but then that would mean it would have to have been during trial or the Defendant’s Lobby, most likely the Defendant’s Lobby and away from Matt Engarde’s ears. Sounds like the only reasonable times Phoenix would’ve started a relationship with Edgeworth before informing Mia? Good.
At this very moment, Mia has seen Phoenix’s anger over Edgeworth leaving the suicide note. If she didn’t know about the events of Turnabout Goodbyes, she’d still be aware that Edgeworth was dealing with personal issues. She knows about DL-6, so she can make her own conclusions. If anything, Phoenix would be more upset than Mia, who’d be more sympathetic than anything. Though, I doubt if Mia didn’t know about the events of Turnabout Goodbyes, considering that Maya would definitely want to tell the story to her sister, since it does affect them and what happened to their mother. At the time Phoenix would have the opportunity to start a relationship with Edgeworth, even while ignoring his anger towards Edgeworth for the fake suicide note, Mia would experience the outcome of it. She’d see that Edgeworth is making sacrifices and doing everything he can to find Maya. Mia would be the most dependent on Edgeworth. The fact Phoenix told Mia that he can’t break Edgeworth’s trust, after everything he’s done, then realizing that he trusted Edgeworth before getting the, “yes, you do,” from Mia, tells us how much she knows about Phoenix’s feelings. If Phoenix loves and trusts Edgeworth, Mia would understand and, again, support it. Why wouldn’t she support Phoenix dating the man that saved her sister? After Farewell my Turnabout, I can’t see Mia not finding the events of Turnabout Beginnings being water under the bridge.
Any other time passed Farewell my Turnabout should be proven what I’ve mentioned above. As I said, after Farewell my Turnabout, I can’t see Mia not allowing the events of Turnabout Beginnings being water under the bridge or bygones be bygones. Mia has seen Edgeworth in court, how he conducts a trial and how he handles a situation of blackmail and hostages, which was better than Grossberg ever did. How could Mia not give Edgeworth her blessing, after he saved her sister from Shelly De Killer of all people? Even Phoenix would let bygones be bygones, if someone like Manfred Von Karma did the same for Trucy in a similar fashion.
Mia isn’t stupid or petty. She might be a protective mother of sorts, but she’s not going to dictate who Phoenix has feelings for or how he lives his life. Now, Mia did tell Phoenix to forget about Dahlia and never bothering to mention about Iris, but that could be more for Iris’ sake than Phoenix’s. I’m sure Mia did intend on informing Phoenix or having him reunite with Iris at some point, but Iris was escaping from an abusive situation with her sister. The point is, Mia isn’t someone that’s going to keep Phoenix from pursuing a romantic relationship. It’s not to say she won’t warn Phoenix, if he is dating someone that he shouldn’t trust, but in the case of Miles Edgeworth, Mia won’t need to. Any point in time that Phoenix would start a relationship with Edgeworth, Mia would have no reason to object to it. She may get upset, if the relationship started before the suicide note, but again, Farewell my Turnabout will be enough to let that be water under the bridge.
This goes into my main issue with having Mia be upset or “concerned” for Phoenix having a relationship with Edgeworth. It makes her seem petty and hypocritical and Mia is anything, but that. I’m sure a lot of people will be like, “you’d be angry too, if someone called you a ‘bimbo.’” Aside from the fact that was in the English version and we don’t know if that’s what he actually called her in the original Japanese, that was said on trial. It’s expected for the opposing attorneys to rip each other a new one. Heck, even Mia wasn’t afraid to rip Edgeworth or even Godot a new one. That’s kinda expected in court. If it is because of Edgeworth withholding evidence and a witness, how is that any different from what’s expected or even better than what Lana Skye did, who was supposedly Mia’s college friend. Even Mia’s boyfriend said that was expected. Also, keep in mind that it was their first case that took place five years prier to Phoenix meeting Edgeworth again.
I think the reason people have Mia respond negatively to Phoenix dating Edgeworth is mostly because they see Turnabout Beginnings and think, “Oooooh, Mia must not like Edgeworth then” and I find that to be inaccurate. True, Mia didn’t like Edgeworth in Turnabout Beginnings, but other things have happened since then. Edgeworth had helped out Phoenix, saved Maya, helped make peace with Franziska and will eventually help Phoenix again in T&T by going in his stead. That’d be like making the claim that Phoenix would have an issue with Apollo dating Klavier, if that were possible, which would make Phoenix look hypocritical and petty. Does the main conflict for Phoenix dating Edgeworth have to involve a third party or his mentor/parental figure being overprotective? No romantic relationship is without its hurtles and, more times than not, it isn’t by a third party. If a parental figure gets involved, it often means the two were never meant to be together to begin with.
Considering what Mia saw with Edgeworth and even the kind of people she trusted like Grossberg, who threw her sister under the bus over an ugly ass painting, I doubt Mia would find it a big deal for Phoenix to pursue a romantic relationship with Edgeworth. At best, she might be skeptical, if it happened before the suicide note, but would be completely fine if it was after or during Farewell my Turnabout. Now, Maya pursuing a relationship with Franziska, on the other hand, might be a different story, but that’s for another topic.
What do you guys think?

jungkook ♛ meeting her parents
Pairing:Jeon Jungkook x Fem!OC Emmie
Genre:Fluff
Warnings: none
Rating:G
Word Count:1.4k
A/N: «this belongs in my headcanon universe and you can read the other parts in the masterlist, the description of the characters is [here] so you get a summary of who they are. »
masterlist
Emmie had a big family. A really big family. Big enough that she had to triple check she brought gifts for everyone because a double-check had proven inadequate. She was one of 8 children and her aunts and uncles all had at least 3 kids as well. Annual family reunions looked more like concerts and despite having moved to Korea after her study-abroad turned into a dream job 3 years ago, she hadn’t missed a single family reunion and she refused to.
Emmie and Jungkook had been together for about a year when family reunion season came around. It was between the Europe and Asia legs of the Speak Yourself Tour which worked out really well for Jungkook who wanted to meet Emmie’s family.
Emmie had explained to Jungkook that you didn’t just meet her family, you experienced them and she wasn’t sure a family reunion would be the best idea. They’d only been dating for a year and sure she wouldn’t be the first person to bring their partner, her cousin once brought a guy she had only been dating for a month and they broke up during the barbeque. But she was still worried. She knew it would be the 3rd year where her relatives would wonder if she was secretly miserable in Korea. She knew they did it out of concern for her but that didn’t make it any less annoying and she didn’t want to throw Jungkook into that.
He insisted, however. And she agreed. Her mother was so excited Emmie thought she’d come to Korea herself to gather the couple. Her father shared similar feelings but played his ‘protective dad’ role well over the phone when she called them.
To Jungkook, this trip was an adventure. It was also a way to prove how serious he was about their relationship. He was so deeply in love and no matter how many times he said it and how many times she said it back and told him that she knew he loved her, he still felt like she didn’t really get it.
“I think my mom had to straightjacket Amber.” Emmie tells Jungkook, referring to her 15-year-old sister who was a huge fan and upon figuring out Emmie was dating THE Jeon Jungkook had done her best Mariah Carey “Emotions” whistle note only cover on the phone. And she nearly fainted when she figured out she’d be able to actually meet him and talk to him. Emmie was less than thrilled as she tried to guide her sister into not being weird around her boyfriend (“No you cannot call him Jungkook-oppa.” “Why not?” “Because it’s weird.” “But he’s my oppa…” “He’s not your-- never mind.”). She loved her sister but not this part of her.
Jungkook laughed. “She’s that excited?”
“You have no idea. She might try to kidnap you.”
“I’m always up for a little danger to get the blood pumping.” He said as the flight attendants started their spiel on safety protocol.
Emmie had told Jungkook about her life back home. Her parents didn’t have a lot of money even before they decided to have 8 kids but they made ends meet, even if it meant small dinners and stocking up on cafeteria food at school to bring home. Bills were paid, water running, clothes on their back. They couldn’t complain. But it wasn’t great. There was still stress over paying bills and buying clothes as the children grew that carried over into their adult lives. It’s actually how Emmie started sewing, at first it was fixing holes and buttons and then sewing shirts and dresses for school.
Emmie explained that her parents named all 8 kids after jewels. Crystal, Garnet, the twins Jasper and Jet, herself Emerald, Sterling, Ruby, and Amber. They hoped that the names would serve as some sort of prophecy and it seemed to work. The 6 old enough to had gone to college or got into a trade, the two youngest were doing good in school, and 2 of them were in happy marriages.
It really did work out well. To the relief of many who worried that the couple just birthed 8 children into the poverty cycle.
The couple caught a cab to Emmie’s house after deciding that she didn’t want to settle the ongoing argument over who will go to the airport to pick them up.
“Oh my god…” Emmie said as the car pulled up to her home. Written on a banner hanging from her porch was “welcome home Emmie & Jungkook!” with some accompanying doodles she’s sure is the work of Amber. Though Jungkook found it endearing, Emmie found it embarrassing and her cheeks tinted a color similar to her hair.
“That’s so nice!” Jungkook smiled as they got out of the cab, paying the driver and grabbing their bags. They hardly had time to stretch their legs before the whole family piled out of the house and straight into a group hug that Jungkook was not expecting to be pulled into. Questions started flying from everyone’s mouth, ‘how was the plane’ ‘did you bring anything’ ‘how’ve you been’ ‘are you excited’ it reminded Jungkook of all the times he was accosted at the airport.
“One at a time, please.” Emmie huffed as her family started to release from the hug. “Can we get inside?” She asked with a laugh.
“C’mon, c’mon. I got your room all ready for ya’ll!” Emmie’s mother clapped her hands together excitedly as various siblings started grabbing suitcases.
Jungkook learned quickly that Emmie’s house was organized chaos. He wasn’t too surprised, the BTS dorms were similar in that way especially when they were younger and there were 3 less people there.
“Now, Aunt Betsy wants us over there a little early. Says she’s got some clothes she wants you to fix up and I tried to tell her you were on a vacation but you know how she is. Your father’s sister, truly.” Emmie’s mother tutted at the dinner table as food got passed around.
“It’s alright, momma.” She said truthfully. She never really took vacations anyway, she was always thinking about her job no matter how much Jungkook tried to get her to take a full break.
“Now, Jungkook.” Her mother spoke and Jungkook jerked his head up from the mashed potatoes. “I was fully planning on showing you all Emmie’s cute little baby photos--”
Emmie interjected with a gasp, “Momma!”
“--I’ve got binders full of pictures of all my children, but Miss Amber here would just die if you saw her in ‘em too.”
“Momma!” Amber screeched.
“My god, you banshee!” Sterling, Emmie’s 21 year old brother, scolded. “You’ll make the guy lose his hearing and then how will he be able to sing, huh? Gonna sue you for damages or something, I can see the headlines now--”
“The kid’s already a tomato, Sterling, cut it out.” The eldest, Crystal pointed at her youngest sister. Emmie was trying not to laugh and she could tell Jungkook was too.
“Ya know, Amber called every damn radio station she could find trying to win tickets to your show!” Ruby, only a couple years older than Amber, chimed in.
“Really?” Jungkook’s eyebrows raised, he knew fans did a lot but he couldn’t imagine the time it took.
“Yeah! She spent more time doing that than she did on her homework.” Ruby continued.
Amber was quick to defend herself. “I wasn’t alone! You called like half of ‘em when you weren’t busy flirting with Jake from your--”
“We are not talking about that!” Ruby dropped her fork in shock.
“Whose Jake?!” All four brothers started.
“Here we go.” Emmie groaned.
“Now, look. I got one sister married, one dating, and now I gotta worry about another with some guy named Jake? I’m driving you to school from now on!” Garnet, the second eldest said.
“Cut it out. You guys are gonna make Jungkook think we’re crazy.” Emmie’s father finally spoke up. “We should all just sit here and have a nice meal. See, Emmie’s not bickering back and forth. Being real mannered. C’mon y'all.”
“Emmie’s only quiet cause she’s trying to impress her boyfriend.” Jet scoffed.
“Hey, did Emmie ever tell you about the time when she was 8 and a girl in her class--”
“Jasper!”
“Oh this has to be good.” Jungkook motioned for Jasper to continue.
After the evening had settled and Emmie and Jungkook had gotten ready for bed, Jungkook turned to her.
“Your family is a lot.” He said.
“Sorry.” She murmured with a sigh as she turned out the light.
“No, no. I like it. It’s nice.” He spoke with a fond smile. “I just hope I’ll fit in.” He wrapped his arm around her.
“You already do. Get some sleep, I love you.” She kissed his lips softly.
“Love you too.”

I need you to know that I told the Big Cheese about your headcanon that Franny is the one who genetically enhanced the frogs and how basically she deals with biology since Lewis wouldn't deal with that kind of science and he loved it and thinks it makes a heck of a lot of sense.
Thank you, Steve Big Cheese Anderson.
To elaborate, I think it goes like this (because I’ve overthought this):
1 Franny’s maternal side of the family are very musical (also the Shrinks family from George Shrinks are distant relatives, she and Harold invent instruments together). Her mother is a retired orchestra bassist now music teacher at Columbia. She grew up listening to jazz, the classics, and Elvis.
2 Franny, while proud of her musical background, wants to push herself beyond her white picket fence family in a stereotypically precocious “I’m running away to New York and I’m best friends with my teacher” sort of way. And among other extracurriculars, what she lands on to make herself stand out is an obsession with turn of the century cartoon musical frogs. (Serious note: anyone know where the concept of a singing frog originated? It’s older than Looney Tunes I think.)
The marriage of science and music appeals to her creativity, love of nature, analytic and weirdly obsessive grander than life personality. Musical frogs are an ideal magnum opus for her.
3 The Framaguccis are much more practical than this and as she gets older they discourage her apparently impossible fantasies. As more time passes, she starts to give up on them in favour of her more down to earth hobbies: human music, theatre, and sports. Cornelius makes a big stink about it but they’re technically not close enough at this point for him to really convince her otherwise.
4 By the end of high school, Franny’s fixated on her one man band (One Fran Band) that plays jazz covers (w a few occasional originals). She plays in cafés and bars and abandoned factory venues with obscure instruments (some that she invented, some that are edible) mixing and mashing different genres and subverting common conventions
5 Franny surprises the family by being the only of her siblings to go to university; she double majors in music and biology. At some point she goes abroad to Italy then comes back to study at Juliard for a short time before dropping out. She works part time as a sound designer when she gets an apartment w Lizzie who, unbeknownst to everybody, has taken care of her frogs this whole time since Franny hid them at Lizzie’s house circa 2011.
6 Franny’s career as an eccentric solo artist takes off but the presence of her (surviving) frogs in her new apartment and her reconnecting w Cornelius after she moves back to NY reminds her of her old dream.
7 Increasingly influenced by Cornelius and his scientifically-minded family, she goes back to school again to study gene editing (à la CRISPR etc). She starts to work in his lab alongside him, which, while designed to be an engineering lab, Cornelius happily accommodates her biolab needs.
8 Her musical/theatre friends think she’s insane and she even turns down a few deals w record labels (who refuse to entertain the idea of anthropomorphic musicians) but in circa 2029 (a few years after Wilbur’s born) her frogs are the opening act for all of America and Western Europe’s major theaters
9 She comes to solidify her philosophy that music was meant to be a means of expression rather than a demonstration of discipline and that science can and should be a creative endeavour :)
10 Also headcanon that at some point she collaborates w Cornelius and designs her own app to compose music as well as to reach it to beginners (Björk Biophilia era style). It looks like holographic Tetris.
#I FOUND IT IT WAS IN THE QUEUE THE WHOLE GODDAMN TIME#meet the robinsons#mtr#Franny#headcanon#anyways thanks folks#hope ur Tuesday is more exciting than mine

You mentioned Castlevania, so: Trevor Belmont for the headcanon meme?
Buddyyou have answered the call and here are some headcanons about thisdisaster for this headcanon meme. Disclaimer that I know NOTHINGabout the games and this is 100% based on the show. Also, welcome to Latin Hour.
A: what I think realistically
Here are a set of three related headcanonsthat are my ride-or-die Opinions about this show.
First of all, the Belmont family wasquite sizable—Belmont family proper, I’m sure there are any number ofillegitimate children and/or other branches scattered around Europe. They were close, most of the family living onthe hereditary estate with the exception of the transient full-time hunters, but tough love was very much the word of the day. It had to be, given their family duty and thesheer death rate. Technically theBelmont family motto is Numquam Retro, arched over the ancient family crest. But for as long as Trevor can remember, the real family motto has beenthis: no matter how good a Belmont is, there is always something just thatlittle bit better. Aut cum scuto aut in scuto, reads the legend over the family mausoleum, either with shield or on shield, andit is much truer. Belmonts come homevictorious, or they don’t come home.
Second of all, Trevor was the crowningjewel of the Belmont family—a talented warrior from a young age, well-versed inthe bestiary, and devoted, sodevoted, to the ideal. No one becomes asbitterly disillusioned as Trevor without having a long, long fall to get there.
Third of all, the Belmont family tooktheir excommunication as they had taken every attempt to stop them from servingtheir duty: with stoic, stubborn disregard. They received the Bull informing them of their banishment and repliedwith a politely immovable “thank you but we’re rather too busy to be excommunicatedright now.” The Catholic Churchresponded as was highly typical in the 1400’s.
Trevor was returning from an utterlymundane errand into town, seeking some small gift for his baby sister’s firstkill, when he saw the smoke start to climb. He reached the estate just in time to watch the fire bring the roof downand cut the screaming short.
B: what I think is fucking hilarious
For the first little while of theirjourney, Sypha and Alucard are relatively sure that their third member is themuscle, the street-smarts, to their formal education.
Then Trevor busts out some fluent Latinto translate a book and adds a snide insult for good measure, o salvator somnelente mi.
They are both dumbfounded, and Trevor rolls his eyes at them.
“The Belmonts weren’t just a bunch ofcountry drunks,” he points out, and tosses the book carelessly at Alucard. “We were scholars too. Carry that, would you?”
C: what is heart-crushing and awful but fun to inflict on friends
The three of them have been on the move, hunting for Dracula’s castle, for a full month and a half when Alucard findsTrevor sitting on watch outside the ransacked farmhouse they’ve claimed asshelter from the weather. Normally, evenif he’s drinking or on watch or distracted, Alucard struggles to get the dropon Trevor, which is far more of a statement about Belmont House’s skill thanAlucard suspects even Trevor himself realizes. This time, Trevor jolts, even though Alucard takes care to make noise soas not to alarm Sypha.
“Belmont?” Alucard asks, crouching downto be on eye level with him. “Are youall right?”
Trevor doesn’t respond—in all honesty, seemsto barely hear the question. “I had ababy sister,” Trevor says distantly. “Oldertwins, too, but my baby sister—she just killed her first werewolf about a yearand a week ago. I got back just in timefor the celebration.”
Alucard sits down beside him, cautious. “That is quite anachievement. How old was she?”
“Fourteen.” Trevor blinks, takes a deep breath and letsit out, studies the moon with uncommon concentration. “She burned, a year ago, with my brother, andmy elder sister, and my parents, my cousins…”
“Ah,” Alucard says quietly, and does themath. “Your family must have been quitelarge.”
“Forty of us,” Trevor confirms. “And every single one of them died in thatfire.”
Alucard nods, and tucks his knees up sothat he can wrap his arms around them, and they sit there in the quiet for awhile. If there’s a trace of moisturebeading on Trevor’s lashes, neither of them mention it.
“I cannot imagine what it feels like,”Alucard says at last, barely a whisper, “to lose so many loved ones to thefire.”
“No,” Trevor confirms. “But you have a better idea than most.”
D: what would never work with canon but the canon isshit so I believe it anyway
There’s not really enough canon to make a judgement one way or another, but.
I really fiercely want the moreintelligent demons—it’s clear that some, if not all, of the Night Horde arehuman-level intelligent—to start to…remember. Once upon a time the House of Belmont was the most feared force in Hell, the levee that held back the tide of the supernatural from washing over themajority of the populace. Now the leveehas been broken (burned) and the tidal wave is rushing in and the demons arerunning free—
And some of them, meeting astubborn-jawed man with alcohol on his lips and the ancient crest on his chest, think twice.
Thinking twice is, more often than not,the last thing they do on this plane of existence, before the silver of Alucard’ssword or Sypha’s power strikes them down, or before the last son of the Houseof Belmont lashes out with whip and blade and holy water.
Those that escape spread the word:despite the Church’s best efforts, there is still a Belmont abroad in the land, and he has allies, and he is doing hisfamily proud.
Strange, perhaps, that the last Belmontwould be flattered by the rumors of a demon horde.
