I've been obsessed with Korean dramas since a few years, and this drama was one of the best I've ever watched.

Only after I watched this series I found out they are married irl AND have a child!!! I cried more after that because they found love while they were acting~~

I love the fact that their drama chemistry was so pure that they actually started developing feelings! You can see it in their eyes during the drama- it's pure love...

Before watching it: “This looks interesting, but you know how I feel about romantic drama shows. I watch it just because it’s super popular.”

When he started watching it: “This is perhaps one of the best Eastern Asian shows I’ve ever watched.”

Throughout the whole show: “Gu Seung-jun is the best character. He’s so perfectly written in every way, and that Kim Jung-hyun did well portraying him.”

At the end of the show: “That ending is garbage and I won’t ever forgive them for killing Gu Seung-jun.”

After was done watching it: “I want– no, I need you to write me a fix-it fic, Elle.”

Idk if we have any CLOY fanfic writers that are active here but I had a dream and I would love to see it written 😭 (but also can’t believe I still dream about this couple years after)

Jeong-hyeok and Se-Ri actually connected in Switzerland (the first time) so when she has her accident he knew who she was. He deliberately hid her, lied about her being his fiancé, and got his unit involved because he already loved her. So it was like the same story but they were in love the whole time! The angst let me tell you!!

Synopsis: Yoon Se-Ri is an heiress to a conglomerate in South Korea. One day, while paragliding, an accident caused by strong winds leads Yoon Se-Ri to make an emergency landing in North Korea. There, she meets Ri Jeong-Hyeok, who is a North Korean army officer. He tries to protect her and hide her. Soon, Ri Jeong-Hyeok falls in love with Yoon Se-Ri.

Positives: Emotionally very heartbreaking love story reminiscent of Romeo and Juliet. I was crying all the time, but it was so good. I was affraid, that it will be just cheesy romance (the synopsis sounds like a cheap chic lit), , but was really good. Or maybe it was cheesy, but I just fell in love with Ri Jeong-Hyeok...I don't know :D

Negatives: I am not sure if the North korea part is believable, if it's really possible to exist there for so long and not be discovered. Who knows.

Conclusion: I would recommend this drama, if you want something nerve-wracking, heartbreaking but also really nice and sweet with a pinch of humor.

This was me last week with the kdrama Crash Landing On You.

Like obviously it's the most I've ever loved any TV show and I watch it once a year, I knew that, but I was somehow caught off guard by how much I loved it this time around.

Like oh riiiiiight, this is why I dedicated my life to that obsession for the summer of 2020. Sure the hyperfixation was a trauma response, but it's also just the best thing I've ever seen in my whole life and I'm obsessed with it.

do you guys ever like forget you're interested in something until you start engaging with it again and you go "oh wait i'm like crazy crazy about this yeah"
