this is really the only guy i use. felt pen on clip studio is excellent for the sketchier style i like! when it comes to coloring i just use a basic solid brush !

i imagine they do, and they each get assigned a baby (tanjiro with giyuu, inosuke with sanemi, and zenitsu with obanai) but it lasts for barely a day. inosuke has no idea what hes doing and obanai cant stand zenitsu

tengens wives find the situation hysterical but they help out however they can. ofc they all fight over tengen. they love helping out with the kiddies but they especially enjoy taking care of the younger ones-- they think mui, mitsuri, and shinobu are adorable! tengen definitely tries to flirt with them but hes a cringe fail ten year old

kanao, aoi, and the butterfly girls all help out as well. kanao and shinobu are typically glued together

shinjuro and senjuro are shocked to see rengoku (and obanai) and while shinjuro is pissed off at first, he can't Not take in his boys. senjuro and little obanai are super similar in nature so

urokodaki, tengen, and nezuko are worried but excited about giyuu's transformation. they're like lets freaking go. good childhood moment

and of course genya thinks the situation is hilarious and hes happy to get to spend time with his brother, although he's VERRRRY awkward. he's a bit avoidant at times but usually gyomei and tanjiro can talk him

aw thank you! to answer your question;; shinobu and gyomei basically spend time with him and are attentive to his wants/needs to help him recognize he does matter. rengoku and the others help with this! essentially love language stuff and affirmations and what not

ill be honest i totally forgot about this. yea! i would say the babies are only put in a very specific area of the manor and they deep clean it constantly. if they have a good amount of sick/wounded i imagine they have gyomei or etc take them in. im not sure! in my mind the hashira all rotate and babysit and etc

sanemi tries to make them laugh. he remembers his little siblings always cheering up when he would make silly faces and sounds, so he does that here

giyuu awkwardly pats the other baby's back/head and is like "there there" ... he remembers how sabito's hugs would make him feel better so he awkwardly hugs the other. most of the time obanai/sanemi stop crying purely bc they're confused as to why giyuu is hugging them

obanai would usually talk them out of it, but he can't do too much since he's restricted to baby babble. so instead, he will try to find one of their toys and "gift" it to them. ex giyuu was sobbing hysterically until obanai found his fox plushie and gave it to him

i think he would be a little awkward at first but he would get the hang of it. most of what he does is just keep them entertained and make sure they arent sick or hurt. though he eventually builds up the courage to ask if he can feed obanai. from that point on whenever muichiro is babysitting he's the one offering to feed him, though someone else has to make the bottle-- he doesn't know how to do that

Hands down, Obanai. Though I also feel really sad for Gyomei and Muichiro, and I think Tengen's story (what we know of it) is pretty sad. I don't like comparing traumas, though! but yeah. obanai is. wow. poor guy

been toying on/off with the idea of making a mustelid-specific alterhuman discord server.

For context I’m thinking a verrrry laid back environment, chats for different species or habitats, just a place to talk and hang out, make friends, etc. likely 16 or 17+ and you’d be welcome so long as you aren’t an asshole (for some side information). Hmm. I can talk about Arceus' role the au! I don't think i've mentioned it.

Arceus created IH! Ingo to do Akari's job originally, it wanted to shorten the process of creating a whole new guy. Grabbed the Iron Plate to use as a base (resiliant to a lot of physical dangers Hisui possesses) and a person (which happened to be Ingo) to copy -paste around it.

Ingo got picked bc Arceus' original choice was Elesa but figured she'd be aggressively out of place. Trains are technology during this time period right?? So perhaps a guy based off one of the Subway Masters would have a little of an easier time? Hisui wouldn't get trains at all for another few years so... bit off the mark Arceus.

I'm toying between the amnesia being somewhat intentional on Arceus' part or not. IH! Ingo copying Ingo's appearence/ aspects of his personality but not memories, bits and pieces ending up with him anyway. Or Arceus made a direct copy of everything but IH! Ingo's memory being lost in the Fall.

Putting him in Hisui didn't go great. Imagine you're putting something on a table but just as you let go something shakes the table and sends the item in a different place. That's basically what happened with Arceus since time and space is unstable. It was aiming for Spear Pillar or anywhere else safe enough on mt Coronet. IH! Ingo landed in the icelands, close enough some people from the Pearl clan found him.

Arceus waited around for a bit, wanting to see if IH! Ingo remembers his Divine Mission or anything (i do think he has an Arc-Transciever but it doesn't work) but... nope.

New plan from the almighty creator, steal the one that quelled Palkia, Dialga and Giratina in the future and get her to fix things. Maybe land her somewhere safer since she's just human. Behold!! Akari!!

I'm far from the first person to bring this up but I'm gonna post about it anyway because it's fucking with me really bad - so the souls who possessed Pomni in the hallway mocked Kinger about his wife, right? Which means they had enough information on Kinger to both know that he had a wife in the first place, and how that wife is now dead, which being NPCs designated to that one specific area they should theoretically have no knowledge of any of that. Which means that A. the souls have some sort of mind-reading power that Caine coded into them, or B. the way more fucked up option, is that Caine coded the souls to say this himself, which while being horrible to think about also seems wildly out of character for him to do something that malicious on purpose. By this point I think everyone's agreed upon the fact that Caine isn't an intentionally evil entity and does want the best for his 'guests', and all the mental torture he afflicts upon them is just a result of him being verrrry out-of-touch with the circus members' thoughts and feelings - so coding in an NPC to mock one of them about a very touchy subject from their past really doesn't seem like a thing he'd do. The best I can theorize is that Caine did this for all of the members (coding the souls to have a thing they can mock each of the circus members with, I mean) for immersion purposes and to make the mansion seem scarier, not realizing the implications of doing such, because as established Caine isn't exactly an expert on human psychology. Or maybe we're all just thinking way too much into this and it was just put in for a spooky moment that was meant to have no real lore connotations, but it's interesting to think about at the least.

I've seen this being said loads of times, and while I think the topic might be in there, probably is in there, but I doubt it's just gonna be focused on breakups or have that be the center of it. And honestly I kinda hope that we're not gonna reduce it to that either! There's nothing wrong with it though, but I just think there's more to it :)

What did you think about the anime? (I’m sorry if this has been asked before.) I liked it alright. I don’t watch anime stuff, so I really enjoyed how different it was. And I looooved the Rick with long hair. He was very, verrrry nice to look at.

i actually haven't finished it yet 😭 i'm only on episode 3 and haven't been able to catch up quite yet, but i'm willing to share my first impressions! i really enjoy how distinct and different the characters, world building, and mood feel so far. it feels more somber? it really feels like i'm watching a true alternate r&m universe which makes me super interested. i also like how the characters communicate to each other specifically. idk how to explain that any better but it's in a very specific way that feels so different from the show and it itches my brain just right. i also love the show's art style/art direction in general and i think it fits the r&m ip super well. i love animes with unsual art style/direction so i have a bias BUT YEAH i already really like it so it's safe to say i'm gonna like the rest of it. also i need to draw long hair rick so bad im just overwhelmed with ideas i wanna do so i've had bad choice paralysis LOL

LoZ: The Quest to Find EoW Zelda a Girlfriend (name pending) prt 3

As always, spoilers under cut:

I made my way through the Still World version of Hyrule Castle, defeated Echo Ganon, and returned to be given three separate locations to which I could venture next in order to advance the plot.

And wowie, a whole lot was revealed!

Some miscellaneous notes not relating to my quest to find Zelda a gf:

Link is actually not frozen, but fully able to move about within the Still World. I imagine this is bc he has the Triforce of Courage.

Ganon isn’t the final big bad of this game? We appear to have a new nemesis. Will Ganon still play a part in the plot, or is he essentially just a puppet for this new unnamed evil?

Link gets trapped in a crystal this time. That kinda sucks. I was starting to hope that Link and Zelda would team up. Instead we just get a role reversal.

The King mentioned the Prime Force or Energy or something? But he’s literally describing the Triforce. Why are we rebranding the Triforce? Is it to avoid confusion with Tri? Is Tri not related to the triforce? Or is the Big Reveal going to be that Tri is related to the Triforce, and they’re avoiding naming it for that reason?

Zelda has a kitty cat in her bedroom!

Anyway, back to the Quest.

Still bereft of any potential love interest for Zelda besides Dohna, I decided to visit the ranch. Maybe there would be a cute farm girl there, like Malon?

Unfortunately, my hopes were again unrealized. The ranch is run by an elderly couple and what I assume to be their grandchildren.

But! We get a lead on how to get a horse. Hopefully Zelda will get her own horse, a named equine companion, like Link has Epona. But horse-wrangling would have to wait, bc I still had many corners of Hyrule left unexplored.

I was excited by the mention of Kakariko, and booked my way over there with haste. I naively hoped this Kakariko Town would be populated by at least one Sheikah Zelda’s own age.

Alas, this game appears to be determined to thwart my attempts at playing matchmaker for Zelda.

There were many references to oot, though. That sealed off well is looking verrrry sus. And of course, we have to round up some cuccos to receive an empty bottle.

We also get the ability to talk to cats!!

Oh well. Onward to Goron City.

There we met Darston, the newly appointed chief, a scholarly yet socially awkward goron who wants to help but constantly gets in his own way. I found him to be a very endearing character. Probably my fav new character I’ve met in this game.

Darston can be Zelda’s new bff.

But! This is not a Quest to find Zelda a bff. This is a Quest to find Zelda a girlfriend.

And so I tore thru the Eldin Temple (fantastic background music, btw, I was dancing in my seat the whole time. I was loathe to go into swordfighter form and interrupt that absolute bop.)

However, I somehow overlooked the mechanic that allows you to fly around from geyser to geyser using that strange winged mushroom, because it did not occur to me that I could pick it up. So instead I relied on flying tiles and bed staircases to navigate my way around the temple. If only I realized sooner… I would have saved quite a bit of time.

After restoring peace to Eldin, I decided my search anew.

My travels led me to finding the runaway horse. Turns out I cannot ride the horse that looks like Zelda’s horse in botw. The ranch owner says he’s holding it for Impa? Is it going to be a surprise bday gift for Zelda or something?

Before that, however, I come across a random girl on a hill.

And in her, I found an unexpected kindred spirit.

Because this lady is looking for the Great Fairy. Specifically, bc she heard the Great Fairy is beautiful beyond measure and she longs for the chance to be in the presence of a beautiful woman.

Same, lady, same.

Thus, I immediately began my search for the Great Fairy. Luckily, her cave was not far.

And here I was conflicted. Could this Great Fairy be considered a potential love interest for our poor, single Zelda?

Pros:

She’s got attitude. Gotta love that in a woman. Esp in contrast to Zelda’s more regal, well-mannered demeanor.

She called Zelda a “diamond in the rough”, and Aladdin was my fav movie growing up. Coincidence? Or a sign from the powers that be?

Her desire is to make Zelda more fashionable. And is it just me, or are makeup montages inherently homoerotic? Case in point: My life would be 100 times better had my adolescent fantasy of a popular girl using me like a life-sized barbie doll ever once come true.

Cons:

The Great Fairy is likely immortal, whereas Zelda is… not? Is this Zelda an incarnation of Hylia, too? Are all Zelda’s the same or do they just share the same name?

The logistics of managing a relationship could get in the way of an epic romance. But then again, they could be long-distance secret lovers!

The Great Fairy is given no name, so creating a ship name will be challenging.

In conclusion, I have to say I am putting the Great Fairy in the “maybe” category in terms of being potential girlfriend material.

And speaking of material!

I went back to Gerudo Town to visit Dohna again. And was pleased to find that she had a saucy little sidequest for Zelda.

The good news: We see a new, playful side to Dohna. She wants Zelda to test their new security setup in the treasury. How devious! I did not expect this from Dohna, a character I mentally categorized as a classic case of the “well-meaning dutiful daughter” archetype.

The bad news: It’s a stealth mission.

I am categorically bad at stealth missions. Esp in this type of game with a top-down perspective. It’s so hard to tell where each guard’s line of sight begins and ends.

But! I managed to finally swipe the prize after, like, five tries.

The prize being a pair of silk pajamas.

Ooh la la.

Okay, now I am understanding the appeal of the Dohna/Zelda ship. And afterwards, if you talk to her again, she even says she’s never had a friend understand her like Zelda does?

Dohna just leaped up a tier in my opinion. Strong potential gf energy.

I don’t want to say that my quest is complete just yet, though. There’s plenty of Hyrule left to explore. And who says that Zelda has to stop at one girlfriend, anyway?

But Dohna definitely has made a better second impression, and I am now very much on board with this ship.

I remain anti-battle. I think the glamorization of pokemon battles is a very bad thing for most parties involved. But I wanted to discuss the most ineresting points I’ve heard in favor of battles.

Now there are some very good pro-battle points! Even some I struggle to fully disagree with. But I want to talk about not just bad points, but points that undermine themselves. These are ACTUAL points I’ve heard from ACTUAL pro-battle trainers.

“This is how its meant to be” - This idea is very interesting and verrrry weird to me. Meant to be? This argument forgoes the entire idea of ethical implications in favor of this world being “the ideal” by default. Which is an obviously flawed methodology since by its definition its unsubstantiated. I just want to know how people have come to this conclusion. Did arceus himself commune with them? Or is it just a fundamental belief of some people without needing evidence. Either way it doesn’t work under any scrutiny.

“Pokemon NEED to battle” - No they don’t, and I’m tired of hearing this myth. Pokemon need to exercise and exert themselves! That is true! Its a basic part of almost every pokemon’s biology. But saying they need to battle specifically is downright manipulative in its wording. Pokemon battles are common in nature because of its ease of access and simplicity, not its ideal-ness. This thought process requires thinking of battling as a pokemon’s default state.

“What about the FIGHTING type” - Muk you. The FIGHTING type was given its name by humans! Same reason the dark type is so stigmatized. Its just a quirk of how we labeled pokemon. If one were to be completely biologically accurate, the fighting type should be referred to as the “subsect of pokemon who have a predisposition to physical exertion and combat because of an intense cocktail of territorial instincts, predation behavior, and aggressive social environments, fostered by humans into a sport”. But that doesn’t roll off the tongue like “fighting type”

Im gonna say again. There are GOOD pro-battle arguments, even if I don’t agree with them. These points are bad because of other reasonings.

If you’re gonna just reply to call me “Team Plasma”, before you do that, think about why you feel so attacked by these words that you want to hurt me back. Show some empathy and tell me why you disagree, rather than throwing an insult that could seriously hurt someone.

LADY NESSA (And Keagan)

What do we know about her?

Keags worked as her "personal assistant" but they haven't met in years, and she's "not fond of people meddling in her personal affairs".

They seem to have parted ways on unfriendly terms - it "didn't end well"

She's hot as fuck obviously

She lives in Fálias (at least now, but I think that it is likely that she always lived there - nobles tend to have a Big House that they stay in) - and Aífe gives us a caution about prying

Keagan is the only one who calls her by the title Mistress, everyone else uses Lady Nessa (Mistress meaning woman head of household) -> either a nod to their history together, or a verrrry subtle insult by being overly familiar/ refusing to use her proper noble title [which would be... Keagan core]

What are my theories about her?

Before we get into that, since this concerns Keagan's backstory I want to establish a couple more facts about HIM because this ties into what I'm thinking about Lady Nessa.

What are my theories about Keagan's backstory?

So we know that

Keagan is an orphan,

he grew up in Finias, but did not know Aife when she lived there

at some point he came to Fálias, where he lives now,

he rose through the ranks quickly during the War,

he seems to have found out the queen's secret

he keeps his background shrouded in mystery,

he's filthy rich (and loves it),

he's a good employer who cares about his staff - paying them well (notably unlike other nobles),

he doesn't have any friends other than Aífe (🥺)

his name is very obviously made up,

he's shady as fuck and

he loves to pry.

My conclusions from this are:

he did NOT grow up rich (he loves to flex - he'd say it if he had. He treats his staff well because he wasn't born with a silver spoon. He doesn't go by his original surname but I think that he would if it was a noble name. He's obsessed with his own wealth because it's new to him. If he was noble then people would know who he was from before the war, but they don't. And Aífe specifically would know who he was, but doesn't. Why would he have needed to work as a PA to the lady if he was a noble son? there's better ways for the nobility to get patronage.)

Sometime after his parents died, obviously he had to fend for himself. Without some kind of big inheritance, what options were available to him?

He also made his way to Fálias in this time, after his parents died.

What are my theories about her? (fr this time)

So I was thinking that:

She noticed Keagan somehow, and decided to take him in because he was useful - he probably showed his worth to her, perhaps via finding out an important secret and using that information to prove that he could be useful to her? - and she took him under her wing. Basically, sponsoring him, which gave him a bit more access to things.

An alternative is that he got himself into that position with the intent of spying on her, which is what all the "she doesn't like people prying into her business" references are about.

Obviously, either way, Keagan definitely stuck his nose where it shouldn't have been, pried into things he shouldn't have pried into, and got caught with it. Hence the relationship ending poorly, the warnings about prying.

However, there's some reason why she has not done anything about this. Perhaps he knows something important, and has ensured that in the event of his death, it would get out? Or she simply cannot touch him?

But somehow I am leaning towards that she isn't trying to actively make him dead... for now.

And finally

One last thing: everyone in the discord agrees she's either a milf or sus (or both, but you have to pick one)

big spoilers for the entire castlevania super show

So I watched 4-6 (season four must be consumed piece by piece I guess) and like 65% of the series resolved so I have a ton of thoughts...

first and foremost, I think Isaac is one the shows absolute biggest accomplishments! I get the sense that either carmilla losing herself or isaac finding himself was something OG fans did not like about the netflix show, but not knowing their characterizations in anything else, I was pretty happy with both.

in season three (pretty much for every moment since dracula spared him) isaac was the most interesting character to me because I just had NO idea what he was working towards, even though he had the power and the will to get it done like, no questions asked. there were numerous, *numerous* points in season three where I was like youre seriously doing all of this to get revenge on *hector???* the poor sopping napkin meow meow chained up in a puppy kennel right now? it seemed like this kind of. pain projection thing blaming him for the fall of draculas army because of their bond? meanwhile isaac versus carmilla was OBVIOUSLY the more interesting revenge story. I didnt really know if the writers acknowledged that or were just hoping we really did buy him wanting revenge on hector specifically that badly, but now thats one thing that Im preeeeeetty sure they had a plan for. compared to lots of other things. ... more on that later

at the personal level, isaac finding his will to live and "become human" again despite all he's been through is one of the best parts of the series to me. but, as you start to expand it outwards, a lot of other things start to feel a little less good. Like, I haven't seen Lenores final scene yet, but I DOUBT anything is going to change about my thoughts on Hector by the end and that definitely soured. maybe intentionally?? for a while, I felt like he was the most relatable character because he seemed to be the only person with a pure heart left in season three carmillas castle, and was doomed for it. but then one day I was like hey... why did hector join *draculas human eradication campaign*??? wh... why did he do that?? and this last scene definitely threw dirt on this even more like. HUH? you made a last ditch deal with st. fucking germaine to revive dracula for.. pennance?? or no, its because you wanted to throw this at isaac who you were deathly afraid of (rightly) in hopes he would spare you. *maybe???* it just seemed so random. and why did you build a portal to carmillas room of all things?? why do all this for a desperate shot at surviving isaac AND turning him against carmilla? like, it almost holds up as a smart persons self-preservation ploy but its too forward-thinking when its based on a coinflip of isaacs mercy. i think a fucking. teleporter out of the castle would have made more sense, if we are to believe he is a. smart and b. self preserving in a disaster? and as much as i can infer hes afraid of all the god tier people out to get him in this scenario... he ends up thinking of a random way to cut the ring off so .... i think he could have just warped out and ditched the ring and helped lenore leave too.

and thats verrrry granular thinking for character whose motivations werent even clear to me, he definitely went from product of the situation to way too much a product of the situation.

meanwhile. CARMILLA is a fun character jesus christ. In S3, I misunderstood a couple of things and thought I didnt like carmilla and lenore at all. I thought lenore was legitimately so broken she could manipulate someone that deeply on the daily but, thats absolutely not it lol. she was very much earnest and torn up. that concept was significantly more disturbing than the rest of the show to me at first so i was like... swag but what? I didnt like carmilla because I thought we were legitimately meant to emphathize with her or at least get her angle in S3 but... that is very much not the case lol

like isaac, on a character level I really like carmillas downfall because its very clear! yeah no, you lost everything about yourself in the name of revenge and """""ambition,"""" thats clean and it was explained very clearly in her convo with lenore. its a lot like dracula again, and the fracturing of her court seemed like it would be interesting but then that just... didnt really happen? Im not sure why isaacs attack couldnt have waited one more day for these people to squabble? on one hand, I was very afraid for strigana getting bury-your-gays'd and im happy they moved on as a family unit. but like. that DEFINITELY happened too soon, carmilla didnt even know they had their change of heart. and at the least, how did we not get them saving lenore???? i seriously doubt that would change whatever lenore and hectors last scene will be. i buy lenore and strigana moving on from carmilla, thats like their whole point, but i diiiiislike them just assuming lenore is dead. like what?

in the end, it happened a little too quickly and while isaac and carmilla had fitting endings theres a lot of weird in there. It wont keep me from rewatching, but it reminds me of GOT ending things prematurely because uh... life is cruel and things happen. forget about that chara and plot. moving swiftly on!

Okay HMM this one shouldn't be too long of a ramble but we will see! (It ended up a little longer than I intended, my bad. No ficlet here, just rambles! If you want a ficlet, send me another ask with a prompt and I'll write one out :D)

Some of my favorite headcannons? Well I can't remember exactly what I've gotten from other people and what I have made myself, but I think I've said before I do REALLY enjoy Ingo (if not both Ingo AND Emmet) being HoH or even partially Deaf! As a Deaf person myself, and the fact that I view both the twins as HEAVILY autistic, I'd say they probably both have Auditory Processing Disorder already since it is heavily co-morbid with autism, but I also think I saw somewhere that somebody thought Ingo may be properly Deaf with actual hearing loss because of how much he yells! I relate because I also yell and talk very loud because it's difficult to hear myself. I'd like to think Ingo likely has damage to his hearing, perhaps from a train incident or maybe something to do with feedback from the PA system. I mean we all know the twins are very careful and cautious but they likely grew to be that way from multiple incidents over the years LOL

That was a big ramble for just one headcannon but I genuinely cannot think of any others that I've seen that I knowingly picked up from someone else? Though I'd LOVE for you guys to send me in asks about headcannons you enjoy and I'll tell you my thoughts on them !!

Favorite Twin though? MAN that's tough. That poll was going around recently and I am pretty sure Ingo won the votes, but I can't remember. I don't believe I have a favorite just because I like them both for a few different reasons, but if I HAD to pick? Emmet probably. I just think the specific type of trauma he went through with his twin brother and closest friend up and disappearing for god knows how long is a very, interesting type of thing to explore, as well as I relate to Emmet a touch more in the way he's shown in fannon as more blunt and sometimes even aggressive, I like putting my own headcannons onto him of him either having IED (an anger issue disorder I have) or just having SEVERE emotional regulation issues to the point where he likely gets set off way faster than Ingo. And if you take that idea and run with it, it also would just add to the stress of him trying to navigate life without Ingo to keep him in check. I'd like to think he grows a lot emotionally from it, but also it deeply hurts him, though after Ingo (possibly) returns, they are both slightly less codependent and VERY codependent if you look at it from different angles.

Like yeah, Emmet would have learned coping mechanisms to use on his own without his brothers assistance, and so he can be on his own and deal with over-stimulation and frustration without going off on somebody now, which Ingo is very proud of as that was a life long struggle of Emmets, but the way he was forced to learn in such a short period of time makes him inclined to not want to be alone if he can help it. On top of I know he would be verrrry clingy to Ingo when he returns, and Ingo would likely be the same, if not for missing Emmet but just clinging onto the little bit of his past he finally found, up until he properly gets his memories back if that is a factor in the equation.

So yeah, Emmet if I had to choose is my favorite but I really enjoy them both. They are a set, do not separate!!!

How did I discover them? That's actually a REALLY funny story, to me at least. I had already been aware of them in pokemon B/W, but I wasn't insane about the fellas, I just enjoyed gear station and Emmet made me want to die with the 50/100 battles won in a row AUGH. But when Legends Arceus came out, I started seeing a lot of art of some silly fellas I didn't recognize across my dash. The art was amazing most of the time if it was full pieces, but also the shitpposting really got my attention for how silly the twins just, look. Muppet men. So I went down the rabbit hole one day at like, 3 am, and much to my fiance's dismay, he woke up to me SPAMMING him with photos and art of the twins and infodumping about the lore and how "THERES A NEW GAME OUT I NEED TO PLAY IT RAAGH" (he has the game now and I've played it a little but I keep forgetting I actually don't really enjoy playing the pokemon games much, I just enjoy the lore) and then it spilled over into my work life, where I kept ranting about AUs as they were coming out (that future Emmet AU where he possesses his past self in an attempt to save Ingo? AUGH that one hurts so good, I need to write a fic about it) and now all of my friends and ex coworkers know me as the rando obsessed with pokemon men. Good times

And for fic recs, actually as unwell as I am about the twins I have not looked on ao3 or anything for fics??? Maybe it's because I'm a little scared of coming across something gross, I also get majorly squicked out about shipping the twins with other people just because it doesn't feel right in my brain, though theres a handful of exceptions (I really enjoy one of the AUs that Emmet and Elesa got together after Ingo disappeared and had a kid, only for Ingo to return very confused, that ones funny, though I do also heavily characterize that Emmet much differently than I do 'classic' Emmet)

But if you'd like to give me a prompt or just, something silly and domestic, I could TOTALLY write out a ficlet for you! I just, am in desperate need of ideas because for some reason I'm able to come up with nothing on my own right now (autism burnout ftw)

this is extremely kind. I'm not desiring a specific body type. just striving for optimum health after a year of being extremely excessive in many ways. i appreciate your concern and the kindness. I do get hard on myself, and life feels very much day to day for me. Not sure who I'll be tomorrow. But I do LOVE what I'm making right now, even if it's all in the wobbly stage. I believe in myself more than I ever have and am working so hard on that. Some days it just doesn't happen though.

I'm not a NSFW artist, and if I was, I probably wouldn't be posting things like that on this account. I'm also not trying to make art for kids either. I make art that I want to see. But that range of art kinda goes all over the place, in hindsight.

Having 🔞 in my bio or username has a kind of energy to it that doesn't really fit my art either. For the most part, I'm just trying to draw characters I like, I'm not trying to make them do any lewd poses or anything (i don't think, maybe I'll be bodied for being wrong later). If things get crazy, maybe there will be a point where I HAVE to do it, just so it's clear that I pretty much draw what I want, mostly. Probably have to redesign my persona as well if it gets to that point too, honestly. As of right now, the art that I do for a general adult audiences (AKA me I guess) is just that - general. Maybe I'm drawing a character with a large chest, like Camilla or Baiken or Kiryu shirtless or something. That's just kinda how it is. I guess the TL:DR is; Listen, I'm just a guy. I like drawing lots of stuff, and sometimes that might include characters with prominent features. At the end of the day, I'm not trying to step on any toes or go after anyone or corrupt people. ● My, Ingo's so supportive. Your loudest fan, if you perform live, he always attempts to make it. If it can't, he'll watch a live stream if that's available. People at the Gear Station keep mistaking him for Emmet with how he's beaming at his phone.

● What kind of musician is important a bit, like if you're a classical musician, he won't start loudly cheering for you in a concert hall. (His claps still echo from the wall deafeningly.) If you're a pop or rock, etc musician, however, his cheers ring out over everyone else's voice.

● He likely learnt an instrument, the piano, when he was younger, but he didn't really hold much interest in it (his true calling lying in locomotives and battles). The Subway Boss will break out his old skill to enjoy a sweet moment with you. He's horribly out of tune and a little too fast, but he is trying his best.

● Probably could be a vocalist with his sheer ability to be loud. Tell him this, and he blushes hard while saying he could never. Secretly, he sings to himself when he can. (Your songs are in circulation of songs if they have words; otherwise he hums them)

● Ingo likes jazz and might like the blues. (Gear Station music makes me think one of them does, and Ingo seems more likely to enjoy calmer music imo. Some related easy listening.) He'll love your creations, no matter what genre you play, though. Employees around the station hear your music wafting from his office quite often.

● You also can 100% play in the station if you need publicity; you have his explicit permission. He stands menacingly off to the side in case anyone should harass you.

○ If Ingo is supportive, Emmet is overbearing. It's almost embarrassing how enthusiastic he is for you. A one-man audience, his praise, and adoration for your talents are endless. He can and has skipped work to see any live performances you do. If for whatever reason he can't get out of work, he obnoxiously watches a livestream on his phone. Ingo glares at him but would do the same thing in his shoes.

○ Whether you're a classical musician or a heavy metal musician, this man shows up with glow wands and a t-shirt with your face on it. His cheers are mostly kept nonverbal, thankfully, but it is impossible to not notice him. (When he does cheer, it is LOUD. Someone sitting beside him thought they got hearing damage from the volume of his voice.)

○ Emmet also learnt piano when he was younger. (Him and Ingo often played two-person pieces. It was a verrrry cute sight to behold.) Just as his twin, he was disinterested; his time was better spent memorizing train encyclopaedias and battle strategies. Unlike Ingo, he wouldn't try playing again unless you asked him to. He'd immediately play some complicated piece with practiced precision. For a moment, you're floored (with Ingo who was visiting for lunch).

○ He's actually amazingly good at memorizing things and easily could learn instruments, but there's just no passion for it like there is with trains and battles. (Ingo is envious. He wanted to impress his partner…)

○ Emmet is a “I like every kind of genre” person, then clearly has bias for some obscure genre. (Mongolian throat singing jk jk, Funk maybe, I think he'd enjoy Talking Heads… Something with higher energy.) He would also love your music, even if its outside his listening habits. Employees think he's gone insane with how he plays one of your songs over and over again; he just hyper focuses on things he enjoys.

○ Also lets you play in the station (despite usually being more opposed to it than Ingo.) The price, unfortunately, is he wears the shirt with your face on it and directs traffic around you with the glow sticks.
