Here's my lovely science edutainment bot Sun! I'm not. going to be focusing on this au until after Halloween at least, but I am in love with it

you know the drill more details under the cut!

The Pizzaplex is now a Kids Science Centre! Chock full of fun, interactive, learn-through-play exhibits designed to get kids interested in science! With their main sponsor being Fazco, they have a pretty big emphasis on robotics and computers, though they have a wide range of exhibits to appeal to interests of all kinds of interests

Each main exhibit has its own animatronic mascot, with Freddy being the main mascot of the whole centre. I haven't decided on specifics for the glamrocks just yet-

As for the boys, Moon runs shows in the planetarium while Sun does science experiment demonstrations like elephant tooth paste. Since they're mostly for shows and demonstrations, the boys don't interact with guests nearly as much as the glamrocks do.

Either they both used to run the planetarium (possibly in one body? I haven't decided) until the higher ups decided to replace the humans running the experiment shows with an animatronic, OR it was always like this I'm still deciding because it WILL change how I characterize them

Anyways I have the most info about Sun because he was just going to be an oc before this au was revealed to me in a vision so-

He has a bit of a stutter problem after an ill-advised tesla coil demonstration fried his circuits just a touch. It's not bad enough to be fixed but he is self conscious about it.

He makes his demonstrations into performances! Telling little stories about how he used to work at a zoo and really DID need to make elephant toothpaste while mixing everything together to draw out the big fun expansion of foam, before going into an age appropriate explanation of the chemistry involved. If asked to explain some science thing that isn't part of his scripts, he can struggle with keeping it child-friendly, going into too far much detail. He's just full of information!

the 'glass' part of his glasses are actually screens! Allowing his eyes to move around and emote. the little dots in the corners are the cameras he sees out of.

He's mildly less distressed by mess than his canon counterpart. As long as its part of the show (and doesn't get on HIM), messes are part of the fun! Extremely sensitive to his things being moved, however. It stems from his safety protocol, some of the chemicals he works with are legitimately dangerous, like liquid nitrogen, and so it could be bad news if somethings out of its place!

Eleanora Quince and Wynter Northcliffe, and- a third character to introduce- Veronica "Nico" Solaris.

Veronica was twisted from the princess in the tale of Donkey Skin, Wynter was twisted from Jack Frost, and for those who don't follow me... Eleanora is my Yuu OC.

Eleanora is paired with Malleus while Veronica will most likely be paired with Vil. Wynter just happens to be childhood friends with Jack, as his mother runs the ski resort where the Howl family likes to vacation and is in the same class with Silver. As of the moment, he is not paired with anyone. I just really wanted him to be a reoccurring character in the fic, lol. I was writing him in one of the newer chapters and went, "Huh. He could be neat." So I went and made a design and backstory for him.

Veronica's backstory is under the cut! As well as very mild Ignihyde spoilers.

It isn't as disturbing as the original tale that she's twisted from, but does have similar elements. The stars, moons, and sun earrings and clothing details were inspired by the three dresses the princess gets, as was the idea to make her eyes "as golden as the sun" and her disguise's hair color "silver like the moon". Her purple hair is supposed to resemble the night sky, hence the star-patterned scrunchy.

Her parents used to be good friends with Ambrose before their death, where her uncle took her in. Their family held powerful magic, but they were rather poor, and her uncle began searching for potential matches since many nobles have their eye on obtaining more powerful magic in their families.

This leads to one suitor being particularly stubborn (to the point of stalking and threatening) and she wishes more than anything to escape him. 

One day, while cooking (something that comforts her) and lamenting the way her life had turned out, wishing she could run way, she suddenly awakens her Unique Magic, which allows her to completely disguise herself. She can disguise herself with this magic (though has to eat something she’s made once every 24 hours to keep up the disguise) and those who see her in her disguise can only ever clearly remember her golden eyes. Everything else about her is a blur. But if you know her true name, you can see and remember her clearly for as she truly is. 

Veronica contacts Ambrose- who was listed as an emergency contact- and he agrees to hide her in RSA, provided she can keep up her disguise, as it was her parents' dying wish for him to help her should she ever be in trouble.

Unfortunately, the people in RSA are a little too... nice- and won't be willing to give her the help she needs as they'll be too hesitant or "kind" about approaching and dealing with the stalker. But then she finds out about the Overblots. During the Glorious Masquerade, she approaches Eleanora to try and win her to her side, as well as get her help in speaking to Headmaster Crowley about switching schools. She believes if she can befriend Eleanora, she can make use of Eleanora's powerful connections to get rid of the noble wanting to force her hand in marriage.

Because of her powerful magic, she eventually ends up sorted into Diasomnia.

After the events of VDC, she drops her disguise and attends school in earnest as Veronica and not "Nico", and goes with Rook and Epel to rescue the Overblot!Boys and Eleanora from Styx.

My DCA Ocs!

I really do love the Daycare Attendant so much, so here's some designs that I've made based off them! I'm aware the names aren't really that interesting so they might change but this will have to dooo....

I suppose you could consider these AUs of some kind, so Sunne and Mona are essentially personifications of the Sun and Moon, representing the control of the tides and the Moon's softspoken nature, and the fuzzy warmth of the heat when the Sun touches your skin. Also they are very large!

The jester/clown getups for the last three were self indulgent on my part, but they completely thrive when in their element, and that is to perform! One is much more eccentric than the others, though..

More of these guys soon, hopefully!

It's just us writing our own stories and exploring our ideas with the characters, mainly focused on him and his dynamics with other charas. We made up our own lore and revamped the characters' writing and designs. It's just us playing with our revamped and rewritten blorbo OCs in our sandbox 💞

WATGBS AU: COTDS is centered around Idate, a chaotic evil demon orca man who originally wanted to unleash the apocalypse, but became too mellow after meeting Tatsumiya.

It's an Idate centric AU that heavily focuses on IdaTatsu (Idate/Tatsumiya), and the platonic familial dynamic between the orca brothers, Idate and his older twin brother, Takama. And it has a heavier emphasis on fantasy elements. And we have our own OCs we created for it too, like our IdaTatsu fankids 🤭

Idate: The Star Eater and Grand Demon

Idate (伊達 (イダテ)) is the evil protagonist of WATGBS AU: COTDS 🖤🤍💙 He is Tatsumiya's husband and Takama's younger twin brother.

Idate is the "Star Eater" and Lord of the Underworld. Idate drinks peoples' blood and eats their souls as nourishment. He and his older twin brothers are Demons. They're secretly Grand Demons (大魔王, Dai Maou), who have much more powerful magic than other Demons. They originally lived in Iceberg Isle, but Idate ends up convincing Takama to move to the Blue Sea Kingdom with him so he can live with Tatsumiya.

He's a chaotic evil demon orca and the evil protag of our AU, which makes him very fun for me to write! 🐬💞 I love writing for IdaTatsu and the others, and coming up with and adding onto each everyones' ideas whenever we discuss.

He's extremely chaotic and the world's most insufferable wifeguy /endearing that falls devastatingly in love with and eventually gets married to Tatsumiya. They feel drawn to each other, someone who's the complete opposite of the other, someone who represents what the other has never known, and tries to figure each other out.

Idate's character theme is "Void" 🖤

Idate eating and stealing souls also plays up to his whole void theme.

He's the Lord of Space and the Underworld, whose void world that contains the dead souls of all the people he ate for power.

Idate's powers represent the concept of "Void."

Idate can access a different dimension (the void between worlds), to create darkness and call it from within himself. Infinite darkness. An infinite void. Idate can create and access voids, and can call upon and manipulate darkness.

Idate's leitmotif is the Black Sun. His void is a black hole.

Idate can make makeshift weapons from dark energy. It's a black demon aura that can be controlled at will and slash into things.

Stardust is the source of all magic in the sea in our AU. Idate can make makeshift weapons from dark energy (black stardust).

Tatsumiya: The Dragon Flower and Grand Sorcerer of the Blue Sea

Tatsumiya (竜宮) is the Grand Sorcerer of the Blue Sea Kingdom 🤍❤️ She's the Lord of Creation, and Idate's wife. And also my wifey wife wife <3 🥰😘 She's a magical oarfish that serves the Blue Sea Kingdom's Princess, Lucinda, our Blue Sea Princess (BSP) OC. Her specialties are healing and star magic. 🌠

She's known as the Dragon Flower (龍花, Ryuuka) because her reputation with the sword spread across the Blue Sea. She has soul restoration and soothing properties with her powers to calm souls.

Tatsumiya is the Messenger/Aide to the Blue Sea Kingdom's Princess 💞 Her title is Grand Sorcerer (大魔導士, Dai-Madoushi). In our WATGBS AU, she took on the role after Meikai's disappearance.

Tatsumiya's leitmotif is the Moon.

As the complete opposite of Idate, her main powers are controlling flowing water, star magic (creation magic), and healing. Her royal duties as the Blue Sea's Messenger, are similar to a shrine maiden's.

Tatsumiya is so wifey to me 🤭

In WATGBS AU: COTDS, she is Idate's wife!

IdaTatsu: The Two Messengers, the Sun and the Moon

Tatsumiya is the Blue Sea Kingdom's Grand Sorcerer. Idate is one of the Grand Demons that came from elsewhere. The two Messengers of their opposing Gods.

Idate and Tatsumiya are opposites in terms of their powers, personalities, and roles. Both Idate and Tatsu are Messengers of their opposing "Gods" and queens. Our own OCs, Algol and Lucinda, are the Red Sea Princess (BSP) and Blue Sea Princess (BSP) respectively.

WATGBS AU: COTDS' headcanon versions of the characters' designs

In our WATGBS AU's revamped versions of the charas (our headcanon designs), Idate is buff and has scars.

He wears blue eyeliner, and black sun and star earrings to match with Tatsumiya's red eyeliner and star and moon earrings 🌠☀️🌕

Idate wears blue eyeliner, which is the same as Tatsumiya's favourite colour, ultramarine blue (群青色, gunjyou iro) 💙

At first this was coincidental, I added it to his design cuz I thought he looked nice with eyeliner and so it'd have great visual contrast with Tatsu's design, but then I found out that Tatsu's favourite colour was ultramarine blue. So the colour I chose for Idate's eyeliner coincidentally, ended up being the same as Tatsu's fave colour…

Name Meanings

Idate (伊達) 伊達 = Meaning “elegance; gallantry; sophistication; showy; having style”, or “putting on airs; showing off”

I chose the kanji reading Idate (伊達) cuz both meanings fit him very well! 🖤🤗

Idate (伊達) is my headcanon kanji reading of Idate's name. Since I wanted to pick a reading with a fitting name meaning for him!

Tatsumiya (竜宮) 竜宮 = Meaning “Dragon Palace”

It's an alternate reading of Ryuuguu 🐉🏯 The Undersea Dragon Palace from the story of Urashima Tarou in Japanese folklore.

It comes from 竜宮の使い (Ryuuguu no tsukai), a giant deep-sea oarfish, known as "The Messenger/Envoy of the Undersea God's Palace" which is exactly what Tatsumiya represents as a character!

I chose kanji readings of Idate and his older twin brother Takama's names, as well for our other OCs in WATGBS AU: COTDS, like our IdaTatsu fankids. I'm excited to show them in the future 🤗💞

Total Eclipse

Eclipse!Sans x OC

Eclipse!Sans belongs to @llamagoddessofficial and I am rather obsessed with them! I hope I captured them accurately but I couldn't help but wonder how they'd react to my OC.

Their design is based on art that @sparticus2000art created. I loved the first one the most so I hope you don't mind that I used it.

Background: This drabble is not canon to The Nightmare of Apathy and is a sort of "What if?" situation for whatever happens after the story ends.

All you really need to know to enjoy this is that the Reader was in a relationship with Nightmare and lives in his castle with the rest of the gang. The world is only lit up by the moon and the stars, thanks to Nightmare's influence.

Word Count: 1,959

You woke up alone, which wasn't too unusual in of itself. Still, you couldn't help but feel slightly disappointed that Nightmare hadn't joined you this time. He'd been extra busy ever since forming a treaty with his brother but you'd hoped he'd take a break on his own. Now it seemed like you'd have to go bug him about getting proper rest, even though he always insisted that he didn't need to.

You crawled out of bed and pulled the curtains aside. Just like always, the world outside the castle was dark. Only the light from the stars and the moon could pierce through the veil, but you didn't mind as it was all you'd ever known. Well that wasn't entirely true since you'd visited a few other worlds by now. Despite how pretty it was, you didn't think you'd get used to how bright the sun was anytime soon.

To your surprise and shock, the moon looked...different.

Somehow, it had turned black although the edges also seemed to be glowing. It was so bright, that you couldn't bear to look at it for longer than a second.

What did this mean? Was the world in danger? You'd never heard of anything like this happening before, although there was one person who might.

With little care for your appearance, you threw on a robe and hurried through the castle to find Nightmare, but when he wasn't in any of his usual spots like his office or the library, you started to get worried. In your hurry, you nearly ran into Killer in the hallway but his quick reflexes kept the two of you from ending up on the floor in a heap.

"woah there, what's the hurry, angel?" he asked teasingly.

"Where is he?!" You were slightly out of breath and had to take a moment to recover. "Where's Nightmare?"

Killer hummed thoughtfully, "i actually haven't seen him in a while." He seemed to notice how concerned you were and the corners of his smile quirked up slightly. "what? is the world ending or something?" he asked with a chuckle.

You huffed and shot him a glare. "Maybe? The moon is completely messed up and I don't know where he is."

That seemed to catch his attention. "i'll go ask the others and see if they've heard anything."

You nodded and Killer shot you a wink before vanishing into mid-air. As irritating as he could be, you had to appreciate how serious he got when it counted. No wonder Nightmare trusted him with important jobs.

You continued to search the castle and were soon joined by Nightmare's other henchmen, but no matter how hard you looked, there was no trace of him. At some point, you happened to glance outside and noticed that there was somebody on the veranda. They were facing away so you couldn't really make out what they looked like beyond being a tall skeleton with pitch black bones.

Maybe you should've been more cautious about approaching the strange skeleton, especially with everything that had happened before the treaty, but the moment you stepped outside, you couldn't help but feel drawn to them. They just felt oddly familiar, like an old friend or loved one.

You only got about halfway across the veranda when they seemed to sense your presence. They turned quickly and the moment you made eye contact, you realized that despite what you had thought, you'd never seen them before.

They were much taller than you'd initially thought; easily pushing eight feet tall, making them taller than even Horror. While their bones were indeed black, they actually seemed to have a white glow, kind of similar to Dream. Their eyelights were mismatched, with the left being cyan while the right was gold, and there was a flared halo hovering around the top of their skull. You were also immediately struck with their intense aura that was reminiscent of both the god brothers. You could feel your eyes start to sting with tears that threatened to spill over and yet your soul nearly leapt for joy at the same time.

They wore an elegant black overcoat with white epaulettes, a flared collar, white buttons, a white sun motive on the lapels, and their tail coats had a white lining. Under the jacket, they had on a dress shirt with lace ruffles, high waisted black pants with buttons that matched the jacket's, and knee high boots with white accents.

"Who...? Who are you?" you asked cautiously.

They gave you an amused smile but said nothing at first and just continued watching you.

You frowned and took a step closer. They just seemed so familiar and you felt like you should know who they were. The more you stared up into their eyes, the stronger that feeling became. His facial bones vaguely resembled Nightmare's but maybe that was just because their left eyelight was the same colour.

Your eyes widened with the realization that this was why he hadn't been anywhere in the castle. What could've caused such an extreme change in appearance? Was this related to the moon?

"Nightmare?"

Their smile didn't falter and they just continued watching you, although you felt their already very intense aura flare up even more. You could feel the buzz of ecstasy in your veins and how your soul seemed to swell from the positivity.

It actually hurt.

You recoiled and quickly stepped back. While your body was nearly overwhelmed by emotions, your mind was relatively clear at the moment. You wished you had more control over your magic, especially for times like these, but at least you had some defense against this manipulation attempt.

This wasn't Nightmare. It couldn't be! He wasn't capable of inflicting positive emotions and he hadn't tried to influence your emotions at all since the beginning of your relationship. There was only one other person who could, and previously had, tried to do these things.

"Dream...?" you tried again, although your voice trembled as you spoke.

They blinked before the amused smiled finally faded a bit. They did vaguely resemble the god of positivity, especially with the whole inflicting positive feelings ability. The gold right eyelight did seem like the exact same shade as his as well.

"That is not my name anymore."

You could hardly believe your ears but their voice was exactly like Nightmare's, although it was the one he used when he was trying to intimidate mortals. It was nothing like the calm, velvety tone he used when you were alone together.

You couldn't keep yourself composed any longer and the tears that had threatened to burst earlier, now flowed freely down your cheeks. You didn't want to believe it, but you could see that something terrible had befallen your partner and it seemed like Dream was involved as well.

You felt their claws press into the skin around your jaw as they ever so gently tilted your head up to meet their gaze again. When had they gotten so close?

Even though your head was dwarfed by the size of their hands, they were so careful as they wiped your tears away with the tips of their claws. You didn't dare move in case they injured you with how sharp they were.

It felt like their eyelights could pierce through to your soul with how intensely they were gazing at you. Their aura felt a lot warmer all of the sudden too and your mind felt kind of fuzzy.

They began to stroke your hair in what felt like a reassuring way, although you felt shivers run down your spine every time their claws grazed your scalp. You had been in too much of a hurry to brush your hair earlier and their claws caught on the occasional knot every now and then, but they were careful not to tug on the individual strands too much at least.

"It's... It's alright to cry..." Their voice suddenly lowered mid-sentence until it was almost a whisper. It still didn't sound exactly like Nightmare's voice but it was eerily similar. "Would...a hug help you feel better?"

You swallowed and barely got out a "Yes" when they practically engulfed you in a warm embrace. Their bones were quite literally warm, much like Dream's were the few times you'd touched him, although you could sense that the temperature was actually from how much mana they had contained in their form than anything else.

You couldn't physically wrap your arms around them, so you settled for letting your hands rest on their chest instead. They didn't seem to mind in the slightest, although you thought you faintly heard a soft purr when you touched them.

They suddenly scooped you up in their arms as if you were nothing but a small child, causing you to gasp as your feet left the stone tiles. They held you close to their ribcage and pressed their teeth against your hair, as if mimicking a kiss.

"Dear little human... I'm sorry for causing you such distress."

You sniffled and buried your face into their shirt. Everything felt wrong and knowing that this entity wasn't Nightmare hurt so much.

"You're...a very special human. The last thing I want is to hurt you..." they purred.

"Do... Do you remember me...?"

They stilled for a moment before moving to sit down on a nearby bench and setting you in their lap. They resumed stroking your hair before even attempting to answer your question.

"I'm sorry, dear, but I can't remember someone I've never met." They moved one of their hands to your back and began to rub circles into your shoulders. "You're certainly familiar to me though."

You pulled back so you could look up at them again. "Night...what happened to you? Why do you look like this? I don't... I don't understand what's going on..."

"I'm not your Nightmare, not anymore," they answered. They paused for a moment, as if trying to find the right words to say next. "I'm not either of them anymore. This is...just the natural result..."

"But why?"

"It just is. I am the god of feelings, both positive and negative." They sighed and lightly caressed your cheek. "If it is of any comfort to you, they didn't plan for this to happen."

You took a deep breath. "Was it because of the truce?"

The edges of their permanent smile quirked up slightly but they said nothing. You weren't sure if that was a yes or no but you couldn't think of any other reason for the brothers to have accidentally merged into one body out of nowhere.

They let out a quiet chuckle and softly poked your nose. "He may not have always been able to say it, but he loved you so much. If you'll allow me, I would be happy to share the depths of his love with you sometime, dear."

You furrowed your eyebrows and glanced away from them. "I... I don't know... Does this mean you have their memories?"

They shook their skull ever so slightly. "Not quite, but I have their combined knowledge. Anything you could possibly want to know, I can explain."

"How about a name first?"

They practically beamed and quickly pressed their teeth against your forehead. "My name is Total Eclipse or, if you prefer, you can just call me Eclipse."

You felt your cheeks grow warm at the contact but quickly forced any emotions down for now. "My name is Aylin. It means 'moon halo' and, well..."

They let out a quick bark of laughter. "...'the one who belongs to the moon...' I think it's rather fitting."

"That's... That's actually almost exactly what he said when we first met..."

"I told you, I know everything that they knew..."

So the past.... Month. Has been very eventful. Coping with a rough break up, work being hard. I'm almost 21 I kinda figured it'd be rough being in my 20s. I really was expecting it to be the end of the world, but then I made a really good choice.

I joined a few discord servers over this month, and I can't begin to explain just how wonderful that's been for my mental health.

I've made so many new beautiful friends who just mean the world to me, and those new friends along with old friends and my beautiful angel wife who's stuck with me while we both heal, it's just nice.

I wanna say a few words [or a lot words. I'm a yapper] and I jus wanna really detail my appreciation for the following people.

@your-pal-smoochins, my perfect angel wife. You and I have had a lot of things against us. You've been such an amazing support system through these past couple years and I don't tell you enough just how much I love and appreciate everything you do for me. You lift me up when I really need it and I've never felt more loved than when you've been by my side. Thanks for being my rock, my sun moon and stars, and just thank you for being mine. You do so much more than you give yourself credit for, having escaped the situation you were in and going to college. You're so strong, and you're my beautiful angel forever.

I dunno if you know but those gifts are still in my phone. I look at those and your newer stuff and I'm just beyond amazed at your progress. You've been a really amazing friend and I love you, man. @springlucked Spring. Though we only started talking recently, you are still someone I consider a dear friend. Your fics got me out of some really bad art blocks and my really low days. While Dearly Detested makes me cry and fills me with just the right amount of emotions to break a tree in half, you are so awesome. Kartal Deryaoglu

Kartal meaning 'eagle' and Deryaoglu referring to a child of the sea. Tsuna's father. A Hannish merchant specializing in the silk trade between Ilsabard and Hingashi. His green eyes bring to mind the deep jungles of Thavnair.

His name represents the star Altair.

Suzume Sui Wasaishi

Suzume meaning 'sparrow', Sui being the surname given to all born from Sui-no-Sato, and Wasaishi meaning 'kimono tailor' refers to her occupation after becoming an assimilated Raen. Tsuna takes her mother's surname due to hatred of her father.

Being a weaver she represents the star Vega. Together they are a reference to Tanabata -- or star festival. Like Hikoboshi (Altair) and Orihime (Vega) who are allowed to meet once a year when they cross the milky way, Kartal and Suzume are separated every year by the Glass Sea due to his occupation.

Mihrimah Deryaoglu

Mihri meaning 'sun' and Mah meaning 'moon'. She takes her father's surname. Tsuna's paternal sister. Relations between her mother and father are strained but she still visits and takes care of him in his old age. They're possibly separated. Nothing else is known.

Odgerel Ejinn

Odgerel meaning 'starlight' in Mongolian, and Ejinn is the name of a Xaela tribe that chooses to swim from place to place rather than walk or take boats.

Tsuna's danna-- or patron of her art-- when she was still a geiko in Kugane. A wealthy Xaela merchant who offered to pay off Tsuna's debts to her Okiya in exchange for her hand in marriage. They were set to be wed soon after she fled Kugane. Nothing else is known.

Azem Ourania

Ourania (Urania) was one of the nine Mousai (Muses), the goddesses of music, song and dance. In the Classical era, when the Mousai were assigned specific artistic and literary spheres, Ourania was named Muse of astronomy and astronomical writings. In this guise she was depicted pointing at a celestial globe with a rod. Tsuna's Azem.

I haven't figured out much about her but I like to imagine she worked with or close by Maira and Alkaios (when she wasn't disappearing for weeks on end) which lead to Nymeia watching over Tsuna's 'spark'.

Valtyr Eruyt

Valtyr being a title bestowed on her meaning 'slayer of god' and Eruyt being the forest in which she was born. Not related to Tsuna. In another timeline she is the bodyguard of a Warrior of Light where she acts as the stoic guard with the voice of reason.

Has the Echo but not Hydaelyn's blessing, and can hear the Green Word if the Elementals deign to speak to a wayward Viera. Is a natural survivalist and botanist, excelling in archery and salve-making. Hates technology. Might have had a lover that she outlived. Garleans might have razed her forest. Idk. Thinking about giving her a complicated Thing with Leofard or Gaius.

I break my rule of being lore-strict because I (mostly) go by FFXII lore for her and not XIV. I don't have anything solidified about her despite having her as an alt for many years. I'm still figuring out if I want her name to be Valtyr lol.

Pon-Ea-Kotor

Name very tentative. ‘Pon’ meaning small and House Kotor overseeing the Palace of the Dead. Feral forest child. Possibly mute or at the least very quiet and awkward. Wanders aimless through the forest like a ghost with her moogle friend. She's still in the workshop.

There's also a wildwood, midlander and highlander I've designed but they have no lore at all.

One thing is very important to know about the world I’ve created:

"There’s a legend that says that if one is meant to ride a dragon, rider and dragon will always find each other."

This applies to all creatures that can be tamed too.

A good way to figure out if you are meant to bond with a certain creature is to check if the creature shares your eye color, if you share your eyecolor it means you share your soul color so a soul bond is possible! Not everyone gets to ride dragons though, even if they wish to.

Here’s the Bestiary page on Bloodreaper Wyverns! Im gonna change the design a bit (just the head and not much so no worries, it’s still accurate). There’s all kinds of info in that text! None on taming one though and just like all other Wyvern breeds you cannot simply tame an adult, taming adult Wyverns is impossible as you’d be killed before even getting a chance to get close. So what to do? You need to acquire an egg! Some buy them off the market (which isn’t good as that usually means dragon hunter killed the parents and took their eggs (dragon hunting is illegal). Maybe you happen to stumble upon an abandoned hatchling, but hatchlings are fierce even if they are young. Bloodreapers do not have a breath attack and Bloodborns are in in fact not a thing! Lesser Wyverns such as Bloodreapers do not posses a connection to an Elemental (Fire, ice, Lightning, Sun, moon).

Now the second rarest Wyvern species! Lightreapers are very rare and also very strong, they are cousins of the Fire elemental Wyverns (Flame/Fire/Ember/Ash and Magmareapers) and so are Nightreapers!

Lightreapers are Greater Wyverns! Their usual coloration consists of a mainly white body with yellow to gold wings and gold accents! Males will usually have markings on their crests (like a triceratops for example) and have a brightly colored throat (this is a trait all male Wyverns share) males like most other Wyverns are also bigger but less aggressive than females.

Lightreapers are only found in the desert areas of a continent! They are considered holy steeds to the Temple of Solis' Members! Some members ride Lightreaper Wyverns or Lightstalker Drakes.

Aurum (first recorded Sunborn Lightreaper)—Imera (first recorded Sunborn human)

Whiteray—Liora Solar (mother to Aelius Solar)

Hello!

I'm not really sure if this would be considered too personal or nosy into your space of creativity, but in the words of one of my OCs, my curiosity is curious.

I've begun the process of creating my own comic series, not really shocking, but a Sun and Moon type series, a family of siblings going through daily routines, shenanigans, and self discovery, along with a cast of human characters and animatronics too. I've fleshed them out as much as possible, been working on constant design tweaks, and feeling so confident with how it'll be. My only issue is when I sit down to type out the script or story so I can storyboard it out, my mind goes blank, like motivation fries and brain goes brrrrr.

I guess my question(s) is/are, What gave you the inspiration for your stories? How do you get to sitting down and writing up a script/story to draw out, and what will happen and such? There's been times I sit down to type because I have ideas I wanna get down, but then POOF! All gone.

Again, sorry if this is like a personal thing, but I thought I'd ask around to artists I feel artistic motivation from (not for ideas, but I adore your style). I'm trying to find something that clicks.

oh yes, I experience this too sometimes, but the truth is that inspiration can come from anywhere, an important source can be even artists you like. Their style, their storywriting, anything! :) I thought about a bit cuz it's been tingling my brain that maybe I've already answered a very similar question, and i found it! :D if you'd like, I give you a link to that as well for a more detailed explanation, just because i'm not sure i could put together all those thoughts right now better than then: What motivates me to continue working on the lore and universes of my AUs

Aside from that... when I just don’t feel like working on webcomics because I’m not in the mood, I have a secret playlist for that. Well, not so secret... but back when I was a kid, there was this trend on YouTube of videos where people would edit pictures or movie scenes to music, making it look like the characters were singing. That was about sixteen years ago, and someone made a compilation like that for a webcomic I really liked (and im trying to avoid mangas because of the too similar artstyles. i read onnnly one). The playlist I listened to at that time still instantly switches my brain into 'creative' mode.

what is the Rave-N AU?

its a madcom au where people fight to the beat of music, and what music they use depends on what genre of music they're assigned. basically its just madness combat but if it was a rhythm game lol. the lore is different in many aspects, but in general things play out exactly to how it plays in the canon series.

where did you get the idea?

it originally started at Rave-N Hank (rnank), my hanksona. he was just a standalone hanksona before i decided to expand his universe a bit, and here we are now! rnank is STILL my hanksona btw

what can and cant we do?

well, im very lax with this au, i dont have many restrictions other than to just be mindful of the lore and be respectful of my decisions when it comes to the story and characters, thank you!

oh, btw, do NOT treat these characters like their canon counterparts, treat them like u would treat someone's oc as that is what they are. All canon characters within this au are my ocs.

and yes you can put ur ocs into this, as well as making ocs that are exclusively within the au. the only thing to keep in mind when adding an oc to this universe is that if theyre an official citizen of Nevada, they NEED a spiked collar (employers and higher powers are the only ones who are exempt from this rule), doesnt matter how it looks at all, they just need one!

9. How big is their role in the story? Do they make a frequent appearance or are they a character with little "screentime" but big influence? Or are they just a favourite background guy?

Moth: one of the main characters, 1/3. the other two are OCs made by two of my besties!!

Lacy: not a main character in the grand scheme of things, but a main character in Moth's own story. they're special friends (?) who got separated across realms so now Moth's personal little mission is trying to find her way back to her. in my mind she wouldn't appear in the story much at all til the end, she'd be more of a character that haunts the narrative

Moth: the moon! also moths, as represented by her huge furry cloak and her namesake. I also associate her with snow, spirals, and shadows, but those aren't quite present in her actual design

Lacy: the sun! she's always been my sun girl <3

Moth: her main weapons are sickles because they're moon shaped but she also fights with a big sunny looking mace that actually belongs to Lacy so she can't actually unlock any of its special magical powers and just wields it like a big smashy rock stick. eventually when they reunite she will return it

Lacy: I don't actually have any set lore for Lacy because she's meant to be more of a nebulous concept than a clearly defined character so even though she has a clear personality her hobbies and backstory kind of shift to whatever I see fit for her at the time. the constants for her though are that she's aroace like me, a very extroverted introvert, and a lil cocky

AHHH I DIDN'T THINK ANYONE WOULD ASK ABOUT MY CHARACTERS I'M SO SORRY!!

This is outrageous behavior on my end,,, so I've compiled a master list of the characters included in the 10th anniversary post! Just in case anyone else wanted to learn a bit more about the OCs involved in it!

I totally didn't have to draw her a new reference because of the fact that the one I was using was outdated and didn't have the pattern I changed it to in a different, unfinished piece.

This is Cotton! She's a Security Breach OC I made around 2022 ish? It's been a while. I mainly made her as a pseudo self insert, she's a very self indulgent character of mine because I got tired of trying to CONFORM and deny my Cringy rights.

>>>EDIT I FORGOT TO MENTION A COUPLE NON PLOT RELATED THINGS FOR COTTON: Mechanics wise Her eyes are LED screens so she can change expressions (and eye colors) at will. Her main feature though is her voice box, since it allows her to mimic the voices of the Animatronics at the Pizzaplex! She likes to use it to calm children down, by pretending their favorite Pizzaplex animatronic is calling them through her and giving a few in character words of encouragement! Of course, this kind of voicebox is primarily meant to play soothing lullabies to lull children to sleep, since her area used to be riight under Sun and Moon's balcony, and it was meant to be a naptime nook with a bunch of pillows and lots of glow in the dark stars. That's about it for the edit though, I just forgot those last couple of details for her.

Story wise, she's the assistant to the Daycare Attendants Sun and Moon, she just helped around the Daycare a lot. A lotta fluff there since they were in a very lovey dovey kinda relationship until an accident at the Daycare caused her to be permanently removed and any records of her completely wiped from the Pizzaplex's system. She lives under the Pizzaplex now in that area where you find all the Endos, there's a section in this kinda AU where they shoved all the equipment from the old Daycare into ("The old Daycare" being the one we see in the Trailers for Security Breach).

Alright, the next two characters in that post are Dolly and Alice (Dolly being the cat and Alice being the bunny/hare). Both are Security Breach redesigns for characters I've had even longer than Cotton, and their stories are not as fleshed out unfortunately. At least in Security Breach the idea was that they both ran a section of the Pizzaplex that was a roller skating rink, it had two floors (the second overlooking the rink itself, kinda like a balcony? I don't know how to explain it) and it's very cool and awesome. Mechanics wise they're both pretty speedy, and when Gregory manages to dismantle them Freddy obtains Dolly's roller skates and Alice's hearing/ears. Essentially, speed boost from Dolly and you hear a little jingle when you're near an item while inside of Freddy, their whole area is entirely optional from my perspective since they're kinda like DJMM where they don't have any real plot relevance.

Just in case these are also the original designs for Dolly and Alice! They're both a part of a smaller spinoff Fazbear's location set around the same time as FNAF 2 ish (mainly saying that because they're loosely based off of the Toy animatronics)? Dolly's design is based off of some Carhop designs I saw some years ago, because she is a Carhop at this location (She's supposed to "skate" up to parked cars to take their orders and then deliver the food when it's ready.) Alice's design is meant to be a family friendly version of Hooters, mainly because I couldn't think of a different design idea for her. She's the Animatronic that skates around indoors, same type of job as Dolly, just indoors. The location concept wise anyways is about as large as the original FNAF 1 location (which is to say not at all).

The only other character in that post is Sun/Sundrop but that's more or less just my design for the character since I wanted to make him look more cohesive with Cotton's design (since they're meant to be a pair if that makes sense). I have to update Sun/Moon's references BUT I do have an MS Paint shitpost of Moon in the updated outfit so I'll leave it below. (it's mainly a joke but this is quite possibly the only proper reference i have for the outfit so you'll have to bear with me here.)

Yes I put Cotton in there again, mainly because I wanted a height reference (and it's somewhat also in reference to their older ref sheet.

There's also a Nighttime/Dark alt to said ref because I wanted to show off their glow in the dark, since yeah Moon and Cotton glow in the dark. How does that work? Hell if I know, I just think it's cute, cut me some slack here!

Let’s get into their lore, shall we?:

The tree at face value- I was experimenting with family set ups for the Celestials and decided to take things literally, Bloodmoon here would be the child of Eclipse. They were never named.

Creator sucks, deluxe edition- okay, okay, this one is weird, and I’ll admit I wasn’t really thinking it through when I made the concept, ergo it will probably come off as insensitive and weird, which is understandable because I was not thinking through what I was thinking. So, human au, Sun and Moon and Lunar have DID, both Bloodmoons are Lunar’s alters. That’s it. This is one of the two aus in which the twins are younger than 20. Lunar, Hunter, and Harvest.

The RaTc (pronounced ‘rats’)- short for ‘Redhead and traumatized club’, basically a place where I drop all my favorites//ocs that have so many things in common that I can refer to them as being ‘the same guy’. Bloodmoon II was the latest addition. Original and Adaptation

Uno-less afterlife- my take on the ghost versions of the dead SAMS characters, I’m planning to write a one shot for this one when Sun dies (or if, I guess). There’s the first Bloodmoon who’s half melted and kinda disintegrating, and the newer addition of a mutilated Adaptation II. Original and Adaptation, Copy Adaptation

This is what you wanted- that concept I shared sometime last month (?), Bloodmoon wanting to get reprogrammed and getting Eclipse to help them, and then getting amnesia. Ruby and Scarlet

DND mini phase- a simple doodle of Bloodmoon as a vampiric rogue, thing which I don’t even know if it’s possible. They weren’t named

Death game- … I may have watched a Danganronpa let’s play. Look, the concept is neat, and the character designs are cool as hell! That said, I did plan a whole au revolving around the SAMS characters being put in a death game, I’m pretty sure I planned to have the twins kill someone and get away with it because of a loop hole. Bloody and Harvest

Fantasy au- not restricted but definitely inspired by DnD, a magical world where there’s all sorts of creatures and places. The Bloodmoons were vampires that Eclipse got to work for him, and then got out of control. Ruin revived them as a demon on account of being a necromancer. Neither the first or second versions were named

Pure and utter regret- I… I might’ve… I might’ve shipped the twins and Jack at some point— It was a crackship and I don’t even ship them anymore, I‘ve adopted the ‘Bloodmoon is aroace’ headcanon, and y’know, canon is being canon for Jack. They’re really just friends now. Yet, I still have about three digital pages worth of them being all kissy and shit. I feel like shit. Fuck, I even had a name for them. I hate myself. They go by every single name ever given to a Bloodmoon (because this was purely a fun crack ship)

April fools actor au- exactly as it says, Sun and Moon started thinking of ways to bring engagement up for the channel, and then Eclipse popped up, and so they all ran the channel together, bouncing ideas off of one another, and so began the lore episodes. Bloodmoon is a bot that was made by Eclipse from some scraps of code he did originally intend to use to mess with the Celestial twins, now repurposed into a theatre kid. They probably have names but they’re only referred to as Original and Adaptation

I got infected by Magic Girlitis- I was watching a bunch of videos about Madoka Magica, and then I watched the ‘Will you press the button’ video, so now I have magical girl designs for Moon, Sun, and Lunar. I never got to them, but the blood twins would’ve had a really cool introduction and would’ve been a genuinely scary antagonist to our heroes. They weren’t named

Fragment of the ocean- I asked a friend of mine what I should draw for Mermay, they said mermaids and oceanic creatures, I accidentally created an au. Bloodmoon is an apparent human (has never been seen as a mermaid), who after being controlled and used by several people was adopted into the Foxy family. They also have DID, because human. This is the second au where the twins are younger than 20. Bloody, Scythe, Hunter, and Rabies

🌒 - Do you prefer Sun & Moon to be separate animatronics or share the same body?

I have no strict preference, because I like to cater that decision to the story and setting they're placed in! For instance, them being in the same body in DFtR au allows me to write some very specific actions, whereas them being in separate bodies in Dead Mall dare just makes more sense due to the setting and their assigned roles. It really depends!

🌛-Do you prefer the DCA in your AU to be biblically accurate or blorbofied?

The answer to this is similar to the one above. I love biblically accurate Sun and Moon and often have their canon appearances in mind when writing my oneshot drabbles, but in terms of au, they've gotta be blorbofied to fit the setting! I love to make nods towards their original designs regardless, including ones that aren't immediately obvious. For instance, the slight up-tilt of their shoes in the DFtR au is a nod to the elf-like shoes they wear in canon!

💖 - Do you prefer your Y/N to be a blank slate for the reader to project on or do you prefer them to be more like an OC in their own right?

I like my Y/Ns as a mix of both. In my personal opinion, it is impossible for a Y/N to be a completely blank slate. No matter how hard anyone tries there is no way to make any character a completely blank slate when there is a human being behind the keyboard. More than that, a blank slate Y/N will look different written by one author vs another. 🙏: What character do you think deserved to get more lore?

Hmmm…I don’t actually know! I really like the amount of lore we get for characters, I’d probably want more lore for the world! Like specifically how things work. How do iterators WORK exactly? How to data pearls actually store data? HOW DO THEY MAKE SCUGS. LIKE I WANNA SEE THE BIOENGINEERING SHIT. Also, If we do get iterators in the Watcher DLC i do NOT want to meet any iterators that are in the current game, unless its moon and pebbles. i dont WANT to see suns or wind or sig’s structures, because i feel like at this point adding more to them might ruin their previous characterization.

im not against new iterator content im just against iterators we’ve already seen

ANYWAYS THAT WAS A TANGENT i also want more insight into ancient society!!! so i guess those don’t count as “characters” but YEAH.

💭: What do you think is the most unique headcanon you have about NSH?

These ones are so hard bc I so rarely interact with the fandom outside of my friends that I can’t tell what counts as “unique” or not. Maybe my design? I make him a pale green, very lithe rather than blocky, and I feel like I make him more…feminine(?) than a lot of others. Also clearly I draw it in a completely non-canon compliant outfit 99% of the time.

OH!! Maybe that Chasing Wind is her best friend. That literally has no canon basis and it’s just because I think they’re cute together based on how I’ve made Wind up. Bc Wind is so vague he’s basically the fandoms collective OC, it basically just depends on what you do with him so yeah. does that make sense? ANYWAYS HURRICANE IS THEIR SHIP NAME OKAY!!

Idk I like my Sig headcanons, not sure how much they deviate from the norm but I’ve written literal college level essays backing up my reasonings for them and stuff so I feel like they’re pretty good LOL.

They dooo, I actually tagged them with #oc over on colorslive. Sunna and Meno are like a game of telephone from Sun and Moon

First, I started thinking up Eclipse, who I at first planned on just being Sun and Moon until I realized that I had the opportunity to make a new character entirely. Then the desire for Eclipse to still be a fusion complicated things, until I went "well he could be his own fusion with characters that don't matter! No one has to talk about the sun and moon gods, just Eclipse! I don't even have to name them, they're of the past!"

Then I got attached
