Perhaps sending Harry there might have been for the best, as Voldemort finds himself having sinful dreams about the boy and terrible urges that he eventually cannot ignore any longer.

After the infamous massacre of the Potters, young Harry Potter went missing. It doesn't really help that years later he turns up again, a bit darker, stranger and more erratic than anyone had hoped for. But Harry hardly cares, since in the end it's his decision on which side he will fight; Dark, Light or no side at all.

That leads to him summoning a demon that he makes a deal with. The demon, Voldemort, will protect him, and in return the demon will devour his soul when it is ripe.

WIP Wednesday

Lokius. Virgin Dom Mobius finds out he has to go undercover...with Loki. 😏

“You’re going undercover,” Ravonna said, handing him a file and sitting down beside him on the sofa.

“Really? Wouldn’t you want someone else to do it?” Mobius frowned, opening it and reading the first page. It was a mission to find a variant hiding out in suburban Ohio. He’d gone to ground after an initial chase and all scans indicated he hadn’t moved on. He was unarmed; a sitting duck.

Mobius was to settle into the community, make friends with the neighbors and report back with intel. That was it.

Ravonna picked up her glass and took a swig. He could feel her eyes on him while he tried to read as much as he could. Flipping the page, he scanned the next sheet and saw a photo of a white picket-fenced home labeled ‘where you will be staying.’

“Will you do it?”

“I haven’t got through all the paperwork but it looks alright,” Mobius agreed, not looking up. He wasn’t sure why he’d been given this mission in place of someone more used to field work—Ravonna must want him out of her hair or something, but this could be an excuse for a free holiday. Maybe it would be fun.

He flipped through some more pages until he reached the last one and there, with their signature smirk and dangerous eyes, was a photo of Loki and a note stating why they would be accompanying Mobius on this mission: they needed a Dom/sub pair.

“No,” Mobius gasped. “You don’t really mean this?”

“You’re compatible. You’ve got the patience to deal with…those more wayward than most, and they’re…eager to explore.”

He picked up his glass and down the contents. A million thoughts rushed through his head. It had been hard not to notice Loki’s stares when they passed by his desk, how they’d deliberately dropped something on the floor near him to make him turn around and look. He’ll never forget the time he found that pink sex toy in his drawer.

Mobius knew Loki was more than just a handful. Bringing them to heel in a prim and proper world where subs stayed at home behaving might be nigh impossible.

“I think you should get someone else.”

“I disagree. You are more than capable. Look how you handle that last case. You kept persevering even when I thought we’d have to give up. You can do this.”

Mobius huffed, feeling hot under the collar. Managing one tough case wasn’t a clear indicator he was going to succeed here, especially when Ravonna didn’t know his secret.

“I still think it’s better…”

“No, you’re going and that’s final.” Ravonna got up and poured herself another drink. “There isn’t anyone else I can send, and I need my best on the job.”

“But I’m…”

“Mobius. I won’t have you continue to downplay your vast experience. You can do this and you will because I said so.”

“Ravonna…”

“No ifs, no buts. You’ve got 2 sleep cycles before you need to go; that’s all I can spare you. Oh, and you’ll need to brief Loki, too. Don’t mess this up.”

Wip Wednesday:Love Resetᯓᡣ𐭩

The two of you would've never expected for it to end up like this—never in a million years. “Seriously? I came back after months of deployment to see my wife file for divorce. Are you serious? ”The words stung like isopropyl alcohol being sprayed into an open wound, but he was right. You should've at least explained before making the big decision; maybe it still could've been fixed. Either way, no one deserves to get divorced without a proper explanation. That's just a shitty move. “I’m sorry, it was a bitchy move.” You try to explain before he cuts you off. “It is. You couldn't even at least call or text me before you did it?”He was mad, you could tell. The way his grip tightened on the steering wheel was concrete proof of it, his body language screaming loudly at the moment. “Eyes on the road, Simon.” You reminded him, worried about yours and his safety. But Simon wasn't having any of it; it seemed like that set his candle off to turn into a raging flamethrower.

“My eyes are on the road, wife. Don't tell me what to do before you explain yourself, or you're getting out of this car.” Angrily, he roared at you. It felt like the go signal for the argument to start was just lifted. “I will! Can't you wait and just be a little patient? Also, you cannot make me get out and walk home in the middle of the night! ”You snap back, making Simon lose his focus on the road. “You're always barely there, Simon; we might as well have been divorced a long time ago! I know it's selfish, but I need attention too! ”How ironic that at this moment, when a passing truck is about to hit the both of you, his attention is all yours?

And those could've been your last words, yet they weren't. The next thing you see is yourself in a clinical and sterile environment, not cozy at all. You're at a hospital, you could tell; you're not dumb. Turning over your bed, you see a man. He had dirty blonde hair and looked equally as messed up as you, though some scars were already faded. He probably didn't get them in whatever freak accident he was in.

“So, you’re with her, then?” Eddie nods towards the still ongoing conversation. All he gets is a frustrated and harsh exhale of a sigh in response. “You more a guard dog or a prison warden?”

And that earns him the sharpest look yet, actual fight behind the eyes rather than just a blank wall of strength. Eddie lifts his brows in question, unperturbed by the insolence he’s being met with. 

“Brother,” he snaps, all indignation and almost spitting with it. “Not that it’s any of your business.”

Eddie hums in acknowledgement, crosses his arms over his chest and looks back through to the locker room just in time to see Chimney, back to them and face out of sight, still say something loud with his body language as he unsteadily lowers himself to sit on one of the benches. 

“Well, you can stand down, brother,” Eddie says, even as he shares a look with Hen across the way, nods her on as she makes moves towards the locker room just in case. “Chimney’s a good man.” 

“They always are,” he mutters, under his breath like it’s not intended for an audience, but Eddie is standing close enough that all of it is for his consumption too, no matter the steps taken to hide it.

5. Do you respond to comments?

For a while I did and then I forgot again and I'm always afraid I will reply to someone but oversee someone else. In theory I want to respond to all of them! I just got two amazing ones in the last two days. So thoughtful and so plain kind. I definitely need to reply to these people.

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

I wrote one where Mulder dies (of old age, though) but I'm not even sure it's on AO3.

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

All of them have a happy ending! I don't think I have a story without a happy ending.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

I have. Mostly in the distant past, but I think some more recent hate too. If I remember correctly, it wasn't directed at a fic in particular but rather at me as a writer in general.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

I have written a few smut stories. I know it's a popular genre, but I gotta be honest and admit that it's just not my favorite. Neither writing nor reading it. I know that's a very unpopular opinion.

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

Again, not on tumblr, but I think I wrote a Frasier/Hot in Cleveland crossover once.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not that I know of.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Hmmm. I think maybe one?

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

I have! I co-wrote Eden with a bunch of others! I mean we each wrote chapters but that still counts, right? It was a lot of fun and I'd love to do it again.

14. What’s your all time favorite ship?

Mulder and Scully

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

My Five Minutes Series. I think about it so often but I like the chapters I have written a lot and I'm afraid to screw it up by writing more.

16. What are your writing strengths?

I'm decent at writing dialogue.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Everything. I struggle with describing an environment or surroundings. I gotta admit I sometimes even skip reading those parts when other people write them. I don't see those things in my head.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

Technically I always write dialogue in another language since English isn't my native language. I've written a few German fanfics and that was a lot of fun. Might do it again.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

It was either Friends or X-Files. Or if we count stories I only wrote for myself then it's Scarecrow and Mrs. King.

20. Favorite fic you’ve written?

I've decided to do NanoWriMo for the very first time. I thought about it, like a million years ago, but have never attempted it.

This year, I looked at the rules to see if you could continue an ongoing WIP, and that seems to be fair game now, so I'm gonna use this time to (try) and finish the Steddie fic I'm working on. I'll be NaNo Rebel. I don't mind.

I don't actually know if it will require 50,000 more words. But at least working towards fleshing it all out, and maybe even finishing it, will be the goal for the month.

I made myself a spreadsheet. It's pretty basic, but I like data. (I once took up running just because I liked the data of it. Don't ask, lol.)

If anyone else wants it to use it, it's located here, and it is for Google Sheets. It is only for a goal of 50,000 words. Since I made it for me, I didn't think to build it around changing to a different goal. Sorry!

It was designed for me to just glance at the current Word Count in my Google doc at the end of the day, and plug that into the C Column. If you use multiple docs, or something else, this might not work for you as easily.

You'll need to go to File>Make a Copy before you'll be able to edit it. You'll only need to enter numbers in C Column every day. Everything else will populate. And if you're going rogue like me, just put your current starting word count as of Nov 1st in B2 instead of 0, and everything else will shift to get you to 50,000 new words at the end of the month. (Doing that will make it look to be in the negative until you enter the first day's end word count in C2.)

5. Do you respond to comments?

I try to! Comments are the only payment fanfic writers get, and it's an incredibly valuable and underrated currency. Fanfiction as a community is one of the most generous you'll find, and I'm incredibly proud to be a part of this particular one.

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Oh man, probably La Comtesse de Saint-Germain.

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

In this day and age I feel like we deal with enough shit, so I try to end most of my fics happily. I think A Gem-Like Flame probably has the most uplifting happy ending, but then, I'm a sports nerd.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

I haven't yet.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Um, probably pretty vanilla het MSR. No shame.

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

I've only written one, but it turned out really well, I thought. It's an X-Files/His Dark Materials novella-length crossover that takes place in Lyra's world, pre-Lyra, called Out of the Little Grove.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Anyone who steals my fic is going to catch these hands.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Yes, a couple of years ago someone asked if they could translate one of my fics to Russian. It's out there somewhere.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

I jumped in and helped @monikafilefan get Five Years and a Lifetime over the line for a fic exchange a couple of years ago. A fun, collaborative experience, that was like 85% Monika. It's a great fic, check it out if you haven't!

14. What’s your all time favorite ship?

Mulder & Scully are my OTP. Always and forever.

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

I'd love to finish Madam Scully's Spiritual Services, Inc., it's an AU where Scully works for her sister's Psychic Boutique while prepping for med school. Scully ends up being actually psychic and she helps newly minted FBI agent Fox Mulder solve a series of murders. I have it almost completely plotted (except for the nitty-gritty hard stuff), but I don't think I'll ever get it done, sadly. It's just too big a story to tackle with where I am in my life. Though I never say never.

16. What are your writing strengths?

I'm decent at dialogue, have a pretty firm grasp on plotting, and, I hope characterization.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

My character work is probably my weak spot, which is why I have so much fun writing fanfic--the character work is already done, I just get to play around a world where everybody already knows the characters.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

When I do it, I hope like hell that I'm doing it right. I think it's necessary for some stories and you just hope you're properly respecting a language you don't speak.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

The X-Files, in the year of our lord nineteen hundred and ninety eight.

20. Favorite fic you’ve written?

It's a toss up between Proof of Life, an AU where CNN conflict reporter Dana Scully is kidnapped and imprisoned with fellow kidnap victim and photojournalist Fox Mulder, and they, you know, fall in love. And North of Zero, a post-col novel where Mulder and Scully get William back and have to save the world. The one I totally pantsed (made up as I went along), and it came together like alchemy. I love that story. If you don't like AU, you'd like Proof of Life. If you don't like post-colonization stories, you'd like North of Zero. I don't always like everything I've written after I'm done writing it (a writer's life), but I'm incredibly proud of both of those fics.

“This is Major John Egan, callsign ZootSuit, aboard the vessel M’lle ZigZag. Today is the dawn of my final day of exploration, putting an end to a sixteen-month foray into DeepSpace. Initial findings reveal little of note. A few developing stars and planets; an asteroid belt; and a total of six planets, two of which I will be recommending for a second more thorough exploration of due to planets possibly location being within the ‘Goldilocks Zone.’ I look forward to whiskey, solid food and to breathe air that isn’t recycled from a fucking can. I can’t wait to fuck my husband-”

John pauses.

“Ah, computer erase the last seven words. Reasoning: Irrelevant to mission. I will be entering Hyperspace within the hour, once I hit proper trajectory to slingshot around the primary sun.”

He taps the record button to end the log, carefully labeling the file and placing it in a folder with the few thousand other logs he’d recorded over the last year and a half. A verified library of data, observations and the occasional love-letter. A year and a half of research; one of the longest expeditions ever undertaken by any pilot. Considered bold by some and risky by far more. Deep space played with people's minds, the long stretches of isolation broken up only by Hypersleep creating the perfect recipe for a light case of mental instability.John had trained for this, ran through thousands of psychological tests and millions of scenarios. There was not a person in the universe more capable of this task. 

John rubs his jaw, feeling the scratchy beard and spins out of his pilot's chair, leaving the computer to guide the craft. 

Two Fingers down(Bikeriders AU)

“I don’t like liars.”

“I’m an honest liar,” John whispers against his lips

“You cheated.” Gale accuses.

“Cheating implies I was playing to win. Throwing the game to lose on purpose is different.” his hands fumble at Gale’s belt buckle, the metallic sound of it undoing loud in the alleyway. Gale sucks in a ragged breath.

“That’s not-” Gale groans as John gets his free hand around his dripping cock, “-even remotely what it implies. I don’t fuck cheaters.”

“You’re gonna let this cheater fuck you.”

“Is that so?” Gale's hips buck into the tight clench of John’s fist, his pubic hair darker than the rest, almost a sandy brown color.

“Yeah, if you call that cheating then I’m disqualified. Winner-” John bends over to spit onto the glistening head of Gale's dick, rubbing the saliva down his shaft, “-Takes all.” 

I've got my Pirate John AU which is just concepts at this point LOL

Little Beasts is still happening! Here's a snippet from part 4:

“You’re really hitting me in the ‘yes daddy harder’ places with that face you’re pulling right now,” John says, swirling his finger through the over-complicated mess of a coffee in front of him.

It tasted awful, but he ordered it just to see if the kid behind the counter could actually pull it off.

Chick continued to keep his ‘yes daddy harder’ expression, which was in fact a look of profound exasperation and disappointment. And didn’t really awaken anything in John, but he found it plenty amusing to see the way the older mans eyes narrowed ever so slightly.

“I could have you thrown in jail today if i wanted, you know,” Chick Harding takes a sip of his own soy latte, “I could make up a reason, I hold your life in my hands.” 

“That’s a misuse of power and a miscarriage of justice, and also you like me. I’m your favorite little POW just admit it.” 

“Someone’s going to pop you one in the mouth, mocking veterans like that.”

John spreads his hands wide in a dont shoot the messenger sort of gesture “hey, I can claim it. My great gandpops was a POW. Got his flight jacket and everything hanging in my closet. This is my history.” 

“I think I should arrest you.”

John grins at him.

“You been meeting with Brady?” Chick asks, setting his coffe down with a pleased hum, begins folding his utensils wrapper accordion style until the cheap paper has become nothing more than a little square. It’s the same thing he does every time, restless fingers the only betrayal that the parole officer wasn’t just a robot.

Which John already knew was false. He’d looked the guy up the moment he’d had access to internet again. Had a neatly sealed Juvenile record and an exemplary military record which meant the guy was both secretly interesting and also probably a little batshit.

“Every couple weeks just like those fascist fucks tells me too. Just like i meet you every six weeks and we pretend I’m in need of babysitting and you pretend you’re not hoping that college boy will finally write his number on your coffee cup.” John leans forward on his elbows,the table creaking under his weight  “I could do it for you, if you’re too shy.” 

Chick doesn’t give him the satisfaction of blushing, but John can see the way his sholulders straighten slightly.

“He even looks like me a bit too. Curly brown hair,” John smooths his fingers across his mustache, “ the sexy landing strip. You sure you’re not displacing some sexual attraction?”

“You are the devil incarnate. That barista means nothing to me.” 

“You shouldn’t be so grumpy, meeting your favorite little felon.” 

“Only person around here that seems grumpy is you, Egan.”

“Me?” John stretches, tilting his chair back with one foot until he nearly topples backward, “Whay’ve I got to be grumpy about? I’ve got a shitty dead-end job, a dying grandma who, by the way, isn’t actually even my grandma, and i’ve got to check in with some middle aged drill sergeant with a thing for some guy who looks like Sean Cody’s next up and coming.” 

“I don’t know what that even means.”

“Oh you so do.” John smiles.

Hi I guess this is my 2 cents on your save file wip:

Usually when I do my own renovation I would limit the packs to just the ones that's related to the world I'm building on (base game + get together if it's on Windenburg) plus essential packs that most people will likely have (Seasons & Pets & free stuff), but definitely won't use the whole catalog of every packs I own in each world.

So, say if a person doesn't have the vampires pack, then they'd be safe when playing with other worlds that they do have access to because all the vampires content are confined to Forgotten Hollow. It will be rather limiting but from my experience it did give me some room to experiment with stuff I won't usually use :)

This is a very good approach! I considered doing this, but since I'm only renovating 1 base game world in the file, I don't want to limit myself to certain objects and not be able to capture the vision I'm going for.

So for anyone who's interested, I've decided to use free CC (where necessary, mainly build CC) to build my lots, instead of doing a bunch of CC-free TOOL magic with a million packs/kits (how I'm used to building). That way I can limit packs to ones with major functionality, instead of having 83,082 kits required because I wanted to use a few plants

Currently I know I'll be using Seasons, City Living, GTW (retail), Dine Out (restaurant), Eco Lifestyle (community space) and Get Together (cafe). *maybe* High School Years if I find the energy to build a school

I'm also using Zerbu's Venue Changes Mod and Spawn Refresh, which allow multi-purpose lots (it is revolutionary), so if people don't have the packs that belong to those lot types, they can still use the lots as libraries/museum, parks, lounges/bars or something else functional!

All the CC/mods needed will be linked in the post when the file's done. And any debug world decorations from other packs I'll make BGC (after all it's just set dressing). My reasoning is that since it's a save file, only PC players can use it anyway: so everyone who uses the save can download CC. But someone who only has the base game can still have 99% of the lots completely furnished and playable, they just have to switch the lot type!

also a sidenote: we're in willow creek now 😎 bc it has more lots than newcrest

and i learned how to edit strings/world maps, so 'Crest Harbor' (working title, don't really like it; suggestions welcome) will have its own special map & loading screen (this screenshot is unedited, i desaturated the BG map as a test).

'Crest Harbor' is also it's own world (though on the loading screen it's icon is identical to Willow Creek, unless i can figure out how to change it, since it's a clone made with Zerbu's Copy Worlds mod)

sorry this is post is so long lol, once i started typing my thought processes i couldn't stop. and posting updates keeps me motivated to keep working on it, so brace for more annoyingly long posts soon
