30nym challenge day 23: How do you keep your digital workspace organized?

On my phone, I use the different "focuses": Personal, Work, Fitness, Sleep which have different relevant apps on the home screen. On my computer, I just use the regular system of saving things in folders.

College Students! Karushuu where Karma is also a semi-famous streamer and Gakushuu is trying his best to not be recognized by his viewers.

Karma posts pranks, challenges and reacting videos on Youtube, and streams bad video games on Twitch. He loves playing the worst games just to rage about them, and people follow him to hear him insult the work of developers. He sometimes talks about his boyfriend but never reveals his name so the chat can only speculate about who that mysterious partner is.

Gakushuu is an Economics Management student who's trying to reach MIT. He doesn't hang out with the other students, doesn't talk much about his life, and has very little social media presence. He's careful to never show himself on camera when his boyfriend is streaming.

One day when he's having zoom class, Gakushuu can't stay in his own room because his neighbors are apparently having some work done, so he goes to Karma's apartment. Someone recognizes the streamer's decor and tweets about it.

Another day, Gakushuu comes to the college with his boyfriend's sweatshirt, and someone realizes it and asks him if he follows the streamers too.

Another day, Karma forgets to turn off the camera and leave the live when he finishes the stream, and the viewers can get a glimpse of Gakushuu's arm when he comes to give his boyfriend some food.

Every day people around him suspect him to be the boyfriend and every day Gakushuu has to dismiss them. When the fans find Gakushuu's Twitter account, Karma feels obliged to tell his followers to please not spam that poor student who simply wants to complete his last year in peace, and pretends that they have nothing to do with each other. Unfortunately, it doesn't work.

Gakushuu can't wait to fly to USA and be around people who don't follow a Japanese streamer.

Being in a creative writing class after only having written fanfiction for several years is fascinating.

I legit haven't written original fiction in so long, not since I was like 12 (the small poems I've written and retelling of my life do not count, i mean like real narrative stories) that I'm not used to it but the prompts i am given daily are massively helpful to improving my writing. And I'm writing original fiction from those prompts!!!

My only vice is when I'm asked to think about writing I've done in the past and my only writing has been fanfiction WIPS or finished works which i immediately throw to Ao3, it's really hard to tell your teacher "Oh yeah I wrote about a fictional character suffering recently but this guy is from a kids show and that's my most recent personal work" like i love my creative writing teacher she's so fucking awesome but I will do anything except mention fanfiction or ao3 in regards to my writing. I teetered with the idea today but in a way that did not directly mention fanfic. Like "describe your writing process" shit.

Like fanfic legit got me to where I am today in stone ways, but my creative writing class pays off even for fanfic bc for the Esteban fic I wrote, I used one of the ideas that our teacher had taught us wand incorporated it into the story in terms of description and it absolutely elevated my work in that area.

So yeah uh 10/10 semester thus far

Fml I have zoom meeting classes Monday thru Thursday. And I have two back to back on Wednesday just 15 minutes apart from each other

i only know how to make one piece of origami but it’s really beautiful so anytime i do it people are really impressed and they think im really serious about origami and ask me what other things i can make like can i do animals can i do boxes can i do other flowers and i have to stand there and say sorry this is literally the only one i can do.

I was just hit with a memory from high school from when I asked if I could zoom into class on days that my chronic illness/pain was so bad that I couldn’t attend school, and they said no because it was only for people who had Covid :)
