Eddie gets the idea while grocery shopping.

It's the end of November, but some of the people in Hawkins know how to hold a grudge, so Eddie still avoids being out alone when possible. This time, he had been buying groceries with Steve.

The domesticity always get to him, but this time especially. Steve had paused by the advent calendars, looked through the different designs, and carefully picked out seven. Eddie didn't even get time to formulate a joke before Steve softly explained that this is his third year doing this for the kids, how it started after he befriended Dustin, and how after experiencing an awful thanksgiving, Steve wanted the kids to have a brighter December. It's not about Christmas, it's about having something to look forward to each day, even if it's something silly like a piece of chocolate.

And Eddie understands. After all, he's still not comfortable alone in public after seven months, and he's only been through this once.

But here Steve is, keeping him company and doing something for the kids, and Eddie can't help but wonder what anyone does for Steve in turn.

And looking at the advent calendars, looking at Steve, thinking about how domestic it feels to go grocery shopping together, Eddie knows what to do.

25 days of giving Steve Harrington the affection he deserves, starting on December 1st. And if it doubles as a plan to woo Steve, well, Eddie has always been a bit selfish.

But seeing Steve smile will be worth it, even if it doesn't end in a spectacular Christmas Day kiss.

I’m sorry I’m sorry I usually don’t ‘liveblog’ things but was ten’s big return in Christmas Invasion supposed to be this goddamn funny? I can’t get off the floor he’s in borrowed PJs. He accidentally started quoting the Lion King. Went from 0-200 words per minute instantly and called himself out on it. Spent several minutes hyping up the fact he was going to push the threatening red button. And I’m sorry but every single word after he gets his hand cut off. I was already in tears over the CGI of it growing back but David Freaking Tennant saying “It’s a fightin’ hand!” like he’s suddenly jumped genres to Tombstone I can’t breathe-

they just got out of an extreme gaming session at the boardwalk arcade and now the suns setting and killer wants to get ice cream before it sets so they can watch the sunset but as usual she's a bit too excited for horror and dust to keep up and dust is absolutely dying (she gets ZERO excercise and killer is FAST) and horror just wants to take her time and also spare dust from killer's wrathful running speed. its ok though they manage to eat the icecream while watching the sunset even while slowed down (the vibes in this one are immaculate this is what jk fashion au stands for. silly fluffy important friendship bonding memories. i love. it's not full effort because i wanted to get this done quickly so i wouldnt respond late but im UNFORTUNATELY busy and now its been a day,,,,, I STILL LOVE THE ART YOU SENT ME THANM YKJ SO MUCH)
