If there’s anything I missed, please let me know so I can add it! As a note, I don't add 'suspicious videos', because there would simply be too many - this list is strictly for full ego appearances and glitches. I also try to limit my glitches since if nothing else happens, it might just be an effect by Robin and doesn't necessarily mean anything.

I hope this list helps out anyone who’s new or those who would like a complete reference list!

If you are new, don’t feel overwhelmed by the amount of stuff on the list. I know from experience that it can be a lot to take in, but don’t worry. Just take things slow, and don’t hesitate to message me or anyone else if you have any questions about the egos or past videos. There are a lot of super nice and incredibly smart theorists in this community who I’m sure would be more than happy to help you out.

Speaking of theorists, I’m gonna tag a few since they have some amazing theories of their own! I'll also put some additional info next to some of their names since their posts have been a big help to me as a theorist. :)

General Randomness What's the weather like right now? It’s very bright and sunny out, but January is typically one of the colder days of the year so I’m not feeling uncomfortable right now. It’s the perfectly chilly temperature I would have liked to have all year long. What are you currently sitting on? I am sitting on a chair at our dining table, which is usually where I take surveys. How many times have you brushed your teeth today? Just once.

When did you get up? I’ve been up since 8, but didn’t get out of bed until 10.

Have you been in a vehicle for more than 45 minutes today? I haven’t been in a car at all today cos I’ve only stayed home. Angela invited me to go out for some drinks but I didn’t feel like drinking or being out today, so I’ve been home the whole time.

Where is your best friend? I think Angela is at home but I’m sure she’s getting ready to go out for the aforementioned ^ drinking. I’m not sure where Gab is. How many days until Christmas? Oh wow, barely missed it, chief. There are 355ish days left, I’m guessing? Have you kissed someone today? Nope. Is your mom over 50? No, and she still has a year to go. How old were you 7 years ago? I was technically 14, but was about to turn 15 in a few months. Do you know what 'C'est la vie' means? Yep. In Gen Z lingo, it essentially means, ‘it be like that sometimes’ lmao. Do you usually take showers or baths? Showers, because we don’t have bathtubs and also because I find it much more efficient anyway. I only take baths when I’m out of town, in a fancy hotel, and want to pamper myself with bubbles and fancy body wash. What kind of bottoms are you wearing right now? I’m wearing shorts just meant for the home.

Are you wearing anything red? Yes, the pair of shorts I just talked about. What was the name of your first pet? I didn’t keep track of my first goldfish’s name but a good guess would be Goldie. I wasn’t a very creative kid, so I wouldn’t be surprised if that turned out to be right. Do you live in an apartment? Nope. I’ve been living with my parents under their roof. What color is the floor in the room you're in? Cream-ish. What was the most irritating thing to happen to you today? My thesis professor being a headache to talk to. I am genuinely baffled at how she was able to secure a very high position in my university’s administration, considering how erratic she can get. How do you feel about your most recent ex? She’s great. Do you wish at 11:11? No. Do you wish on shooting stars? I would, if they often visited on this side of the world. But they don’t, so. Do you wish on dandelions? No. There aren’t a lot where I live. Are you drinking anything right now? Mmm no, not at the moment. I finished my coffee a little while ago and while I want to make a second cup to keep myself awake, I have an early morning tomorrow so I’d want to sleep early tonight. It’s back to work for me, ugh. About how tall is your father? Not too tall. He’s like, 5′5 or 5′6. How old is your oldest living grandparent? I only know the age of one grandparent, and that’s my 73 year old maternal grandmother. I don’t get to see my paternal grandparents a lot cos they live quite far, so with that comes my insufficient knowledge about them. Do you know anyone who has lived to be 100+? Gab’s great-grandmother, but she passed away last November. Have you had your birthday yet this year? Nope. There’s been a mere three days into the year, so very few people would already have had their birthdays hahaha. Do you read your horoscope on a regular basis? No. You do you, but I was never a fan. It’s also a pet peeve when people use their star sign as excuses for their shitty behavior. “Sorry I acted up, I’m a Scorpio,” “I hate everybody because I’m an Aquarius,” “I ghosted them because I’m a Cancer” no it’s because you’re a bitch, Karen. Do you like the color yellow? I hate it a bit less than green (my least favorite color) only because I love the song Yellow by Coldplay and because mustard yellow isn’t that bad of a color. Are you an aunt or uncle? If my friends start having kids soon, then I’ll be an aunt. Why is your best friend your best friend? They both understand my weirdness and all my quirks and never made me feel like I was being judged. What is your hair like at the moment? Tbh it matches my top pretty well so as frizzy as my hair is at the moment, it still looks good with the tank top I have on lolol. How many times have you donated blood this year? Zero. I’m scared of needles, and even if I get over that phobia I wouldn’t be able to donate anyway because I’m underweight. Are you wearing any jewelry? No, not right now. Are you a video-gamer? I wouldn’t call myself that. I play GTA just to be a law-abiding citizen and not actually do the missions lol, I get tired of playing The Sims after ten minutes, and I only play a handful of Nintendo games. Who got married at the last wedding you went to? My mom’s brother and his then-fiancee, now one of my favorite aunts except for the facts that she’s a hardcore Duterte supporter and Marcos apologist. Do you like Chinese food? Yep, it’s one of my favorite cuisines. How far is the nearest Walmart? I can’t walk nor drive to it, that’s for sure. Have you ever been a designated driver? I’m always DD by default because I’m the only one among my friends who has a car other than JM, who also has a (much bigger) car but is terribly low-tolerance and will absolutely pass out. I get tipsy easily as well, but I sober up real quick and always make sure I’m 100% back to reality by the time I drive. Which means that I typically have to stop drinking earlier than the rest of my friends, but so long as that means I get to take everyone back home safe, it’s okay with me. What is something that always brings tears to your eyes? My mom yelling at me. Who is your 20th phone contact? My contacts aren’t numbered thus I’m too lazy to count manually. Do you have any plans to get a tattoo? It’s not completely off the table, but I’ve definitely toned down my original plans of getting tattoo sleeves and getting myself generally covered a la CM Punk (and I have to tell ya, I’m so glad I grew out of that phase). These days I prefer to have small tattoos to memorialize significant people or events, and some of my plans include my dog’s pawprint and a plate of nachos. Or a new piercing? Probably not. What would your name be if your last name was the color of your shirt? Brown. If you could find out how you would die, would you want to know? Yes. I hate the unknown and would rather be certain, no matter how ugly or nasty the certainty holds. Do you make your bed regularly? Every morning. Do you look forward to the weekend? NO. I have a 2-day meeting for my 2-day weekend. I am so dreading it. I just want to stay a lazy couch blob for another week. How much do you know about the mechanics of cars? I know how to turn a car on, go forward, reverse, brake, and open my gas tank... and that’s about it. Has anyone ever told you you should be a model? Model and beauty queen, yeah. How old was your mom when she had you? She was 26, but was turning 27 that year. Do rainy days get you down? No. I thrive on rainy days lmao. Who is the artist/band you're listening to at the moment? No music keeping me company at the moment. Do you ever take aspirin when you 'feel a headache coming on'? Not aspirin but I take a Biogesic. I dunno if those two or the same thing or not. Is there a calendar in the room you're in? Nope. Do you prefer to be in a relationship or be single? I’ve been seeing a person for technically six years, so now I prefer a relationship after being accustomed to having one for so long. If you're single, do you wish you were in a relationship? Have you ever had your heart broken? Sure. Do you live within an hour of the beach? No. I’m very far away from the beach :( How do you like your steak? Rare or medium-rare. Were you born in the 1980s? I was not. A Few Firsts What was the first sound you heard when you woke up? I woke up to the sound of my mom calling me on my phone. I was half-asleep and didn’t feel like answering, so I muted it and went back to sleep. I feel guilty now that I remember, but she didn’t call back or text me so it probably wasn’t a big deal. Who was your first best friend? It was a girl named Kaye from kinder. We were good friends for like two years, and then we got sorted to different sections in Prep and drifted apart after that. Who was your first boyfriend/girlfriend? I’ve said her name so many times on these surveys already. Y’all know. Who was your first date to a formal dance? I haaaateeeeed the idea of asking guys out and being in a relationship for most of high school, so I made sure I only asked my cousin for my prom. How bad was your first break up? Pretty messed up. There was a lot of tension and resentment and confusion in the beginning. Throw in my grandfather’s sudden death and me taking the UPCAT, and you have my mental health completely rattled! What was your first favorite movie? High School Musical, for sure. How old were you when you had your first kiss? 16. What was your first trip to the emergency room for? My platelet count was really low, I was in danger of getting dengue, and had to stay the night at the hospital. Then there was sticking the IV onto my wrist, upon which I made a complete scene in the emergency room and thrashed and kicked around while my (very frail) grandma (sorry, Lola) tried to hold me down with a lot of patients watching lol. Where was the first place you went today? The kitchen. Who was the first person you saw? My sister, I think. What was the first thing you thought about when you woke up? I wondered why my mom called, realized I was too sleepy to care, and went back to bed. Do you remember the first time you spent the night away from home? Yupppp. I was in third grade, my club had an overnight camping thingy as its culmination activity, and it was the first time ever that I was allowed to spend the night somewhere else. I remember being around a campfire, roasting marshmallows for the first time, having to share a sleeping mat with Katreen, and her kicking me in her sleep.

Other than around my house, we went to church last Tuesday night for New Year’s Eve mass. What was the last restaurant you went to? Yabu. Who was the last person to call you? My mom, this morning. December 14th. That evening was INSANE. It was Saturday + Christmas traffic, and it took me two hours to travel from Antipolo to Rita’s place in Makati. JM and I drove separately cos we were a big group - his drive took FOUR hours. Why did you last get angry? My thesis prof was doing us so fucking dirty and I couldn’t do anything about it. Famous Muses & Groupies in Rock Music Pt. 3

GROUPIE: Lori Mattix/Maddox (modeling name Lori Lightning)

Researching this woman is honestly such a headache that I almost wasn’t even sure where to start….So I guess we’ll begin with everything we know to be definite fact. Lori was born on November 11th, 1958, and raised in Los Angeles with her single mother and three sisters. By the time Lori was in middle school, her mom (supposedly a talent agent or a waitress depending on the source) started signing Lori up for photoshoots in music magazines like Creem and Star (a vintage groupie rag, not the modern tabloid). In these photos, Lori was usually posing in skimpy outfits with fellow teen models and friends Sable Starr, Shray Mecham and Karen Umphrey to appeal to the rock music scene. From these modeling gigs and her friendships with baby groupies Sable and Queenie Glam, Lori very quickly spent nearly all her free time at clubs on the Sunset Strip from about 1972-75. She’s possibly the most profiled and interviewed baby groupie from back then, and still lives in LA running her own clothing boutique when she isn’t glamorizing her groupie days as ‘the best time ever’ or whatever.

Besides this, everything regarding Lori’s reputation as a teen rock groupie gets very muddled and confusing. During an interview in 1985 with writer Stephen Davis for the sensationalist Led Zeppelin biography Hammer of the Gods, Lori states that she was with Jimmy Page from 1972 to ’75 and he was the only rockstar she was involved with. But in Pamela des Barres’ 2007 groupie compilation Let’s Spend the Night Together, Lori claims she lost her virginity to David Bowie and Sable in a threesome before she met Jimmy, and that she hooked up with a ton of musicians. In the 2010 filmed version of Pamela’s book, Lori makes no mention of Sable being involved in her alleged incident with Bowie. In the 2004 documentary A to Zeppelin, Lori sloppily says she was “a vir—I mean come on, I was like a baby then,” when she met Jimmy. In a 2015 interview with the publication Thrillist, Lori claims she originally turned down Bowie after he propositioned her and didn’t sleep with him until 1973, even though she occasionally suggested that the incident was more likely to be late 1971 or early 1972. She also claims in this article that she continued to keep in touch with Bowie intimately for the rest of the decade, when previously she suggested it was only a one-night stand.

The people over at Medium penned a rather informative expose in 2016 on how inaccurate her stories are on her alleged hook-up with Bowie based on date history. Though it should be noted the piece doesn’t include that in the 1997 punk scene biography Please Kill Me, Sable participated in a rare interview where she revealed she and Lori did meet Bowie in 1973. But Lori got cold feet at the last minute, and only Sable ended up fooling around with the musician. The journalist of the Medium article also gives Lori a little too much credit on the legitimacy of her affiliation with Jimmy Page, as there are a lot of contradictions there too.

As has been reported by multiple sources, Jimmy infamously left his main US groupie Pamela des Barres for Lori while the three of them were partying on the Strip when Zeppelin was in Hollywood. Pamela usually says this happened at the Whisky a Go-Go in either 1972 or 1973. There is photographic proof of Jimmy, Pamela and Lori together at the English Disco that was originally credited on Getty Images as John Bonham’s 24th birthday party on May 31st, 1972. But the only problem is that the band was not in California the week of his birthday, and only played in the state for the last week of June. Zeppelin was however in Los Angeles on his birthday the following year, and the band’s hair and wardrobe in the party pictures match closer to how they looked in summer ’73 rather than ’72. The incident also seems more likely to have happened in ’73 as Lori was Jimmy’s date to a press event at the Continental Hyatt House sometime in June 1973. Both Jimmy’s and Lori’s hairstyles there are identical to how they looked in the English Disco photos as well.

On the 2007 DVD Way Down Inside, Lori says she first met Jimmy randomly at a pool party on the roof of the Hyatt House. In the Let’s Spend the Night Together documentary, she says she met him backstage at the Hollywood Palladium. In the book version and in Thrillist, she claims he personally called her house to introduce himself—but in LSTNT she says they first physically met clubbing at the Whisky before hopping over to the Hyatt House, while in the 2015 interview she says she met him in person at the Hyatt House and then they left to party at the Rainbow. In A to Zeppelin, she claims that Jimmy contacted publicist Lee Childers to set up a date for her to meet the band after he saw one of her photoshoots, rather than call her personally. On Instagram, Lori posted one of the photos of herself with Jimmy and Pamela at the English Disco with a caption stating that was the night she was introduced to Jimmy. If the two did meet backstage, it would have had to have been on either May 31st or June 3rd, 1973 when the band played the LA Forum, as LZ never performed at the Palladium. If he did set up a supposed date, it was probably the night he dumped Pamela. The pool party claim would also make sense, as the week Jimmy and Lori met, the infamous episode where Bonzo threw George and Pattie Harrison into a pool during his birthday party also happened. Except apparently this party was in Laurel Canyon, not at the Hyatt House, and Lori has never been name dropped in retellings of that story.

Besides the month of June in 1973, the only other confirmed time Jimmy and Lori were together is the week of May 10th, 1974, when Jimmy ditched her at the Swan Song label opening party in LA for older groupie Bebe Buell. Bebe went into detail in her 2001 memoir Rebel Heart, of how Lori became hysterical when she realized Jimmy was leaving her for Bebe. The model recalled Lori jumping her and wildly pulling her hair in anger at Bebe ‘stealing’ Jimmy from Lori. Lori conveniently leaves this accusation out when she talks about the break-up. So this is about four to five weeks in Los Angeles when Lori could have socialized with Jimmy, and quite possibly the only times they saw each other in 11 months.

In Hammer of the Gods, Lori asserts she was secretly on tour with the band for two years. Except that between June 1973 and May 1974, the band was only on tour for a month in July. In the novelized Let’s Spend the Night Together, she insists Jimmy arranged to have her visit him in NYC whenever he wasn’t in LA. Lori would eventually completely backtrack ever traveling as a teen and claim she only saw Jimmy when the band was in LA. In the Thrillist piece, she claims that they would travel back to Hollywood after every show and spent the whole summer of 1973 in the city. Not only did the band reportedly spend the last week of touring staying at NYC’s Drake Hotel, but journalist Lisa Robinson tagged along on this tour, and remembers LZ spending nights in a lot of major US cities. Lori’s also infamously said numerous times that she had to be kept locked up (either on tour or in his LA hotel room depending on the interview) while she was with Jimmy because she was underage. Seeing as how there are three different sets of famous party pictures of the pair posing together, taken by professional photographers and originally published the years they were shot, that doesn’t make much sense.

In both Hammer of the Gods and Way Down Inside, Lori says she was kidnapped by LZ roadie Richard Cole, who allegedly yelled at her to get into his car before taking her to Jimmy’s hotel room. In the Thrillist piece, she says Zeppelin manager Peter Grant was the kidnapper and he tossed her into their limo. In a Q&A Lori participated in after the premiere of Let’s Spend the Night Together in 2010, she suggests Jimmy himself kidnapped her. (In the same Q&A, Lori also says that Jimmy broke up with her when she was ‘16’ right after the FBI got involved with the band’s hotel safe theft in NYC. But this obviously isn’t true, as the FBI incident was only two months after she met Jimmy in 1973.) In A to Zeppelin, she makes no mention of any kidnapping and says she just followed him back to his room. Lori has also continually asserted that she and Jimmy spent the rest of the night in his room ~falling madly in love.~ 🙄

Lori says in the Thrillist piece that she had to hide when Zeppelin went back to LA after the FBI got involved in a theft from the band’s hotel safe in NYC at the end of July 1973. In Let’s Spend the Night Together, she erroneously states that the theft happened in 1975, right after she was flown out to visit Jimmy, and then quickly forced to go back home. But many biographies, including A to Zeppelin, report that the band just went back to England after the FBI episode without any mention of Lori. There are photos of Lori partying with musicians after the theft, but most of them are with Iggy Pop and the New York Dolls in LA.

It is also interesting to note that of all the pictures of Lori with musicians from 1973-75, the rockstar she was photographed with the most is Sylvain Sylvain of the NY Dolls. The two of them are even featured in the documentary All Dolled Up (2005) partaking in PDA in vintage 1973 footage. But funny enough, she’s never talked about Sylvain in interviews. Probably because all the photos and footage of them together were at the same time frame she knew Jimmy, and that disputes her story of how she and Jimmy were committed to each other the whole time they were together.

Other things that are likely fake/made up by Lori:

In most interviews, Lori claims that her mom gave Jimmy her blessing to go out with her teenage daughter because he didn’t have a criminal record and ‘wasn’t a terrorist.’ I mean…I guess this could be true, but it has to be the worst excuse I’ve ever heard of a parent letting her 14-year-old child date a man pushing 30.

In the Let’s Spend the Night Together book, Lori has a story of how Jimmy once saw her smoking a cigarette, then forced her to smoke a whole pack, and that made her never smoke again. Three months after Jimmy dumped Lori, she was photographed smoking at Keith Moon’s 28th birthday party, as well as in a personal picture from the early 1980s.

Lori likes to brag about how Robert Plant and Jimmy would dedicate concerts to her while she was with Jimmy, but within the 11 months they were familiar with each other, there were only two shows in LA. Both at the Forum on May 31st and June 3rd, and neither known bootleg recordings of either show feature any shout outs to her.

Lori has gone as far as to say that when she was in LA and Jimmy was back in the UK, he would call or write her every day. Seeing as how in 1973-74, Jimmy was in another country writing, recording and producing songs on the album ‘Physical Graffiti;’ living with model Charlotte Martin and their daughter Scarlet; and having an additional affair with Krissy Wood, he might have been a bit too busy to include some teen halfway across the world. Lori also claims that Jimmy had to choose Charlotte over her because they had a toddler together, and that he would be a jerk to Charlotte to prove he loved Lori. (Never mind the fact that Lori simultaneously calls Jimmy the ‘sweetest’ man ever.)

Some articles and blog posts state Lori and Jimmy got back together for a while in the ‘80s, but this conflicts with Jimmy’s own relationship history as there were only two years in between his separation from Charlotte in 1983 and the meeting of his first wife Patricia Ecker in 1985. On top of that, whenever he would visit the US in the ‘80s when he wasn’t with Charlotte or Patricia, he was usually with a photographer named Ashley Hamm. (Could this man be anymore promiscuous.) A few times, including in Thrillist, Lori has said she still keeps in touch with Jimmy. Yet he has never mentioned her publicly and there have never been any personal photos of them together, such as on Lori’s social media, where she’s posted photos of herself reuniting with Pamela, Rodney Bingenheimer, Robert and Sylvain in modern times.

A lot of LZ books and posts state that the song ‘Sick Again’ is about Lori and her fellow baby groupie friends. This…actually is true, but the tone of the lyrics is intentionally sarcastic as Robert was known to be one of the few rockstars that era not interested in teen girls. He even said in a 1975 Rolling Stone interview that he felt sorry for the Star girls revolving their lives around how many celebrities they could meet.

TL;DR: Lori was a real, legit groupie in the mid-1970s. There are enough pictures of her with dozens of celebs and other groupies to vouch for that. Feel free to judge these adult men for getting involved with teenagers, they mostly deserve it. But it’s also pretty obvious this woman was not in serious, long-lasting, or romantic relationships with any of these rockstars and just likes being famous, no matter what context. (And she is a terrible, terrible storyteller).

Pulmonary hypertension patient, Larissa Domenichelli discusses her rare disease diagnosis and why she feels like a 73 year old trapped in a 37 year old's body.

My name is Larissa Domenichelli. I'm from Cloverdale, California. My connection with pulmonary hypertension is I was diagnosed in November of 2020. I was in heart failure. Little did I know it was about six or seven months, just progressively short of breath. Feeling faint. It all started when I was working as a dialysis tech. You have to move. Clean those machines. Get those patients on and off. You have three shifts, three different patients, four times in a 14 hour shift. I just couldn't move like I used to. I used to play basketball. I was really good. I just couldn't move like that anymore. I noticed that's when COVID came out, too. A coworker actually joked with me and said, "You have COVID, huh?" I said, "Yeah, no, no." Little did I know, my heart was starting to shut down right then and there. As time went on, I got worse and worse. I couldn't even work. I just refused to go to the emergency room because of COVID. I have been in the medical field my whole life. In the back of my head, I kind of knew something was going that was serious, but I refused to go to the emergency room because I did not want to be there alone. Because that's scary. On November 5th of 2020, when I checked myself into the ER and I heard the nurse saying, "STAT," and three or four people rushing me to get an EKG and a CT. Here's the doctor come in asking me questions. I honestly was in disbelief. I did not believe that I was in heart failure. I'm too young. I'm 37. I don't even have half my life put behind me. When the cardiologist came in and said, "We're going to do a heart catheterization on you tomorrow," I was in shock. I said, "Maybe I should call my mom now and tell her I'm here." They were also going to take me up to ICU. They were going to put a bypass machine on me, which is a machine for breathing, as all us pulmonary hypertension patients know. That was really scary to me. My O2 sat was 50, when I was admitted. I couldn't even take 10 steps without gasping for air and doubling over and almost fainting. I couldn't do anything myself. When I went up to ICU, I called my mom. My mom came and was really surprised that I said this so nonchalantly, because like I said, I was still in disbelief. I am 37. This is not happening to me right now. The next day, they ended up doing the heart catheterization. I got out of the hospital seven days later. Mind you, I'm on six medications for the rest of my life now. The doctor did tell me that it was due to an atrial septal defect, which is a hole in my heart, which makes the oxygen and blood go two separate ways, which causes pulmonary hypertension. Basically, there was nothing I could do to prevent it, I guess. Now I see a cardiologist every three months. I still have trouble breathing. I just started a new medication, my sixth medication, actually. I can actually walk upstairs now without gasping for air and I can actually carry things, somewhat. Carrying things upstairs is super hard for me. It really sucks when you're only 37 again, and you have to ask for help constantly. After being in the hospital and going through that, I went through a bad breakup and then I got evicted and then it just went downhill from there. But things are starting to look up now. I did get a job in the oncology unit, which makes me grateful for being alive and my life isn't that bad. It takes a lot to accept it. I never thought in my life I would be at 37, not being able to shoot a basketball. Not being able to run down a basketball court. Not being able to rebound. Not being able to run down the stairs, or run after my dog. It really puts a toll on your self-esteem and your dignity and everything. Now I'm still struggling. I still have really high pressure in my lungs. Mind you, when I was in the hospital, my pressure in my lungs was 88 and a normal person is supposed to be 12. My pressure in my lungs right now is 84. The cardiologist is still working on getting my lungs down. I'm trying to get in to see a pulmonologist here in California. It's really hard to get in to see a pulmonologist, because there's not too many of them, that specialize in that field. I've also researched it a lot, which I don't know if it’s a good thing, because the life expectancy and stuff that they tell you online was really scary. After being diagnosed, what really makes me think a lot is why we're here for such a short amount of time. What is the point of that? I'm still trying to figure that out. I don't know. I guess because I won't live as long as I would've before I found out I had this, I guess you could say. I am Italian and we live forever, they say. It's just been really crazy. I have taken up this art called paint pouring and I do tiles. I make spoon plates and coasters with my free time ,because I don't work full time because I get too tired. When I get too tired, then I'm gasping for air. My oxygen's low. I get a headache. It's just a domino effect. Also being 37, having to take six medications a day is just not fun. I didn't think I would be 73 at 37. Like I said, I'm still accepting it. I'm trying to accept it. It's been really hard. Not being able to breathe is really scary. When you're gasping for air after you've been walking only down the stairs and people are looking at you like, "What's wrong?" And you're like, "Just give me a second. I'm just trying to catch my breath here.” You almost feel like you're going to pass out, but you don't want to tell them that, because you don't want to scare them. The medication is super important. My doctor said I probably won't have to do IV infusions right now, which I work in an infusion center. One side's oncology, one side's infusion, so I see this. I see these patients. I see how it works, the whole process. It's a part-time job for those people. They're there sometimes three times a week. I definitely don't want to have infusions. My doctor talked about a double lung transplant and a heart transplant. I don't even know if I would even think about that. That's such a huge, huge thing, because I've seen patients with kidney transplants and it's like their world has just begun. They didn't want to put me under anesthesia all the way when I was in the hospital. Now my pressure's almost that high again. I don't want to attempt even anything like that. It's just scary. I would rather give the transplant up and give it and let a child go. I'm not saying that I deserve to die, but I'm saying my lungs are already whatever. If a child is there, then they deserve it. I think that. I can't have kids now because of this last prescription that I've started. I had to actually have a surgical procedure. I had my tubes tied. I can't have children now. I have kind of accepted it, but I would want a child to have a wonderful life instead of have to worry about what I have to worry about. It's not fun. Some days are worse than others, but I couldn't imagine being a child going through it, I couldn't. My job, those patients ring the bell every day, those cancer patients. I'm not saying I'm going to be cured, but I know I'll be able to get better by taking better care of myself, which it's in and out. No salt. Then again, sometimes you can't exercise like you want. That's how I take my anger, my stress. I run. I used to do kickboxing. There's no way. One day, I'll be able to do it again, I think. It's just baby steps. It really is baby steps, especially when you're dealing with the lungs. To young people, I would say if they had any symptoms, I would go to the doctor right away. I wouldn't have waited six or seven months, no way. If I had to do it over again, no way. Maybe they could have not cured it, but maybe I could be on four medications instead of six. I don't know. Would've, should've, could've. I would just say, young people, just take care of yourself. Exercise is really important, because I would have spouts where, after high school, I wouldn't exercise for months at a time. They say sitting is the new smoking, so that's super bad for you. I’m real big on equity of respect and it makes me so angry when I see people getting treated like shit or disrespected (bigots and racists and misogynists really piss me off). In that same vein, people not doing their fair share of the work also really piss me off.

91. Do you like your own name? Yeah, I do. I mean, I’ve had it for 34 years.

Cutie Reviews: Tokyo Treat November 17

Hello! Welcome to another review :3 This one was kind of put off for a few days unintentionally as usual. I have not been having a good weekend. I spent the first half of it in the emergency room and being bed ridden, My broken T-key was giving me grief and being a pain until I managed to fix it, and I cut my finger on the grater and it took off a good layer of skin and hurts like crazy...

This months theme is... Flavorful Thanksgiving Feast!

Okay so like usual I forgot to take pics of the items obtained in the Lucky Treat box for the month. I don’t know why that keeps happening lately but here’s a list instead:

The special featured of the booklet details the special event known as Shichi-Go-San, celebrating Children the ages of 3, 5, and 7. As well as the best locations to admire Autumn foliage in Japan. The prize items for the month were Dr. Slump and Dragonball themed.

Before I get to the contents I wanted to mention that I noticed something in the booklet changed. The once “mysterious“ Dagashi Mix section now reveals what you get! This would have normally bugged me, but I never look in the book until after I see what I got, so I can still avoid spoilers~

Alrighty, so these are our misc items of the crate: The drink, the DIY candy, the mystery toy or charm or accessory. I plan on covering the DIY candy next, but for now let’s focus on our cute drink and accessory item~

Our Drink is the delicious looking Kirin Chocolate Mint Milk Tea. I believe we had milk tea by this brand before, and it was pretty good last time so I had high hopes; especially since I ♥ anything mint-chocolate!

Ironically, while I don’t like milk or tea, I’ve been enjoying milk tea as of late. I especially love this Kirin brand, with their eye-catching and fun designs. The flavor was light, and it made me think of a sugar-free melted chocolate ice cream with mint flavoring. I really liked it- but I do wish it was stronger in taste.

Besides, the drink we also got this cute Gudetama Magnet, based on various egg dishes. I got this before in a prior box, but that one was animal themed :3 I really like sushi, so the one I got was perfect!

It’s not a food, but is is Gudetama. I love mystery/blind bag items like this too and I love finding them in the Tokyo Treat box. It’s fairly common and I appreciate it since it’s a lot more rare in the other ones.

These are two of the Regular items in the booklet, including some Super Light Rice Crackers, the Wagashi item for the month made from White Rice found in Niigata. They are light and airy with a melting texture, and are flavored with a mixture of soy sauce and ginger.

They’re also gluten free, but 240 calories as a whole. I’m not really complaining though ;3 sometimes we need to indulge.

These are very yummy, and while I could taste a little bit of the ginger and soy sauce, the flavor combination also reminded of chili oil, minus the spice. The rice didn’t really have an identifiable taste, but that is a bit common with rice-based snacks. With these, we have the Sapporo Multi-veggie Sticks by Calbee. These fun little sticks boasts usage of SEVEN vegetables Σ(･口･) Including red pepper, pumpkin, spinach, carrot, red beet... and I’m guessing potato, tomato, and/or onion. Neither lists really go into detail about all seven. They’re a total of 116 calories. Rating: ♥ ♥ ♥ Usually I like vegetable-themed chips or snacks. As much as I’m not a huge fan of vegetables themselves. I also generally like this brand; but I’m not a big fan of this particular blend. At first they weren’t so bad, they tasted like a plain potato. But now they kind of taste yucky O x < ‘ The plus side is, I do know that you can actually make a potato dish using stuff like this and a few other ingredients. A youtuber I like tried it out once so I might see if there’s something I can do with these.

Well you know what they say, Chocolate makes everything better! And here we got some fun looking chocolate~♥

In order we have Choco Flakes Crisp Balls - Kinako, Kinako is a roasted soy flour that can be found on various sweets, mainly during Autumn/Fall to add a bit of a sweet and nutty flavor. Choco Flakes is a crisped cereal coated in flavored chocolate, and 267 calories!

Kinako is also what I keep claiming my Squishies smell like. If they don’t smell like rubber, this is that exact scent. I don’t know how, and I don’t know why- but it is.

These are very tasty x3 That’s really all I have to say about them though. I really enjoyed them, although I was perturbed by the large Calorie amount...

Speaking of high calories, we also get some Double Fromage Pocky! Premium or “special pocky“, which is pretty much just a smaller pocky with 3.2x more chocolate, both whipped and milk. Fromage meanwhile, is basically a fancy word for cheese, and the stick itself is chocolate, giving it a delicious and elegant twist.

Each stick is 120 cal. Something else I like is that you get three, individually wrapped packs in this box. Perfect for keeping them fresh, or gifting to someone special~

The stick itself is pretty plain (but that is common with pocky), but the thick layer of coating blends in with it wonderfully and totally redeems it. It kind of reminded me of cookies and cream, with a hint of sweet cheese-flavor.

Lastly is this big, eye-catching Giant Chocolate Snack! This crazy looking stick is bigger then a drink bottle- and it comes in a colorful, cool looking wrapper!

Despite it’s size it is very light and airy feeling, and apparently made from peanut and corn puffs and is very light in texture. Rating: ♥ ♥ ♥

It didn’t taste bad at all, but it’s not really my sort of thing. Like texture wise it was really nice, but when I ate it I noticed it was really bitter tasting, and not in a good way like dark chocolate.

Keeping with the sweets theme, we have two pink candies, including a twisty Twisted Marshmallow that was available in a variety of colors- but tasted like plain marshmallow no matter which type you got.

I’m obsessed with marshmallows! This was ultra-soft and stretchy and squishy, I couldn’t help but play with it before eating it~

The other item is something I’ve had before in two other flavors (Soda and Fruit blend), but seeing this vibrant pink tube got me veeeeeeery excited! This is the brand new Strawberry Ramune by Morinaga.

I’ve been a big fan of these cute bottle candies since I tried my first one, and this flavor didn’t disappoint. It tastes like any other Japanese strawberry candy, and the container is a great way to keep them protected- and it looks adorable~

You know, I almost feel like this crate was catered for me this month- Strawberry candies, mint-chocolate milk tea, a yummy rice snack, and now TWO cola candies?!

We have a Cola Gummy, as well as these Vending Machine Cola Gummies ♥ Two similar, but very different gummy candies.

The Cola Gummy is a decently sized gummy covered in sugar for a total of only 39 calories. As you can see in the picture, it’s wider and bigger then the biggest gummy in the vending machine pack!

Ratings: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

The cola gummy is pretty tasty at first, it reminded me of my favorite cola gummies, or the chupa chups cola lollipops. But days later when I finished it, I noticed the flavor remained for about five seconds- then started to taste a little gross. So it’s perfectly fine if you eat it within the time span of opening it!

I also don’t like that was it really hard DX it reminded me of those soft jelly gummies, but it did not match in texture.

Meanwhile, the vending machine set says it is 73 calories PER gummy, or pack. I can’t really tell. It’s by a brand I’ve seen before who made some other cola candies I haven’t been able to find myself.

I really like the fun design inspiration for this pack ♥ You have cans, drinking bottles, large cans, and larger drink bottles. The flavors also vary like most cola candies, in that the yellow/clear part is usually pineapple or lemon flavored, while the brown is cola. and I noticed they are still really soft and taste good a week or two after opening them.

Ironically, while this set is more fun and held up a lot better then the other one, I think the flavor for the other gummy (before it went south) was better.

Of course you can’t celebrate the last bit of Fall/Autumn without including some fun sweet potato snacks. Calbee returns with these Osatsu Snacks, made from steamed and baked Anno sweet potato. This is a special flavor, in that you can only get it during the cold seasons.

(Fun bit of Trivia, Osatsu celebrated their 35th anniversary last year!)

These fun, scallop-looking chips are light and crispy, and they essentially just tasted like regular potato chips with a touch of sweetness. They were pretty nice.

I know, you’re all probably observing that strange jelly looking stuff right? You’re not the only ones, I was perplexed by the Baked Sweet Potato Yokan too.

A Yokan is a jelly-like snack usually made from red beans and often included chestnuts. I noticed it seems to be a lot more “common“ during cooler seasons, and I’ve also seen potato variations such as this, and purple. The snack has a jelly texture, but consistency of beans.

It’s... unique. I’ll put it like that. It’s not bad though, it tastes like a buttery potato and is really, really sweet. In terms of personal opinion I’m sort of in the middle with it, I don’t hate it, but I don’t love it. It’s unusual, but it was fun to try!

(I was actually tempted to see if I could melt this down and put it on bread, just to see what it was like. . . . but I decided against it when I thought it would have disgraced the efforts someone put into making it. I know I’m weird.)

Of course, despite how good a box is, there’s always one or two snacks that leave you feeling like “they’re okay...“ or “ew!“. That’s part of the experience though :3

The first one is a Yakisoba Sauce Snack composed of small puffs (rice or barley I assume), and snacking noodle pieces.

I’m not a bit Yakisoba fan, I’ll admit that now. The packaging is adorable, and if you like stuff like this you get a big amount of it in the little bag (it’s like the smaller the bag, the fuller it is, am I right?). I liked the little puffs, but in general the flavor was too strong for me and I didn’t really like it.

I did have someone who did though, so it made a nice surprise snack for them later.

This other snack fared a little better, not because I like squid- but some squid things aren’t terrible and I try to give them a chance. This is a bag of SQUID CRACKERS!

This is a savory, fried snack- and I know that probably sounds like heaven right now. Well in comparison to other squid snacks I tried and disliked, it kind of was. The texture was sort of a mix between crispy and crunchy, and while I ate it with no problem, I wasn’t too crazy about the underlying squidiness/sea food flavor I was picking up.

I will say that it’s on the lighter side though, so if you’re a fan of those flavors it might be too light. For me personally it was just enough.

We’re down to our final two items of the November crate :D We have Mild Roast flavor Pretz featuring a character I’ve seen before but I’m not familiar really with. I see him and his friends on a lot of stuff, but it’s not a series I‘m familiar with.

Each stick or pack in total is 114 calories.

These are really good. What I enjoy about Pretz is that they are essentially a savory/alternate pocky. They’re crispy but a light snack, and there’s tons of flavor varieties.

These taste like a plain pretz stick (which is already hard for me to describe) with a light buttered taste, like snacking crackers. After everything else in the crate I tried though, it was a welcoming addition.

As usual we also get a monthly Umaibo, this time the flavor was Cheese! Rarely do I ever find an Umaibo I dislike, and of course this was no exception. I mean come on, it’s CHEESE flavored ;3

Now I can’t say I loved it more then the corn potage flavor, because that one is the ultimate champion of Umaibo. But it was definitely in the top 10! It tasted like most other crispy, airy cheese puffed snack I’ve eaten.

♥ Cutie Ranking ♥

Quality - 4 out of 5. I don’t think I had anything bad to remark upon this time, and for the price paid I believe it was fair. The box was fine, and I loved the adorable bonus item.

Content - 4 out of 5. It wasn’t perfect, but I really enjoyed it. We got a nice blend of sweet and savory, which I prefer and find more enjoyable then just one type of thing.

Theme - 4 out of 5. Most of the stuff definitely made me think of Fall/Autumn. I can’t say I thought of Thanksgiving, although the potato stuff did kind of remind me of the Holiday. I know they could have done even more to make the theme better.

Total Rank: 12 out of 15 Cuties. I’m not sure if I preferred this box to any in particular. It was definitely good, maybe even great- but I know they could have also made it a little bit better in terms of theme- although I don’t think it was necessary. I fairly enjoyed everything the two things I wasn’t in love with still scored decently.

9. Twisted Marshmallow - Same as below, again. Delicious and kawaii, but nothing different. I adore marshmallows though so I’m not really complaining.

10. Cheese Umaibo - Same as below, it was delicious but nothing new or exciting.

11. Mild Roast Pretz - I actually really liked these :3 but they were fairly plain in comparison to the rest of the items.

12. Giant Chocolate Snack - It wasn’t bad either, It just wasn’t my thing you know? I don’t like peanuts much and it wasn’t the type of bitter I enjoy.
