nietzche’s human, all too human (Menschliches, Allzumenschliche)
The lower half masterfully explains the lack of separation between the object and the experience of the object, as empiricists warned about centuries ago. There is surely a separation, and with no buffer between one’s attitudes, preconceptions, and biases and the world, we may slip into an insidious type of nihilism that leaves one largely distrustful and cynical of the world around them.
