gender-neutral warnings: - does duolingo count? - in jamil's, the reader is implied to have a crush on him. also, to make it as inclusive as possible, i mentioned how the reader flushes dark. i researched and for POC (Edit: I changed it from colored people bc from feedback, it isn't the appropriate term, sorry if I had hurt anyone!), that's apparently the equivalent of blushing red (?) i hope it makes sense and doesnt hurt anyone's feelings! - a bit of fighting in lilia's, but not too gory. just self-defense. also be prepared for a lot of swearing in his. the reader is also implied to be in a relationship with him :) genre: fluff a/n: - pictures don't belong to me, they go to their original owners! - btw, can y'all tell me where and how do you get your banners for the characters? trying (and failing) to do so as you can tell. - watch me panic as i publish this because i know there might be some people out there who will bully me over this. i'm just gonna say that this is a work of fiction meant to bring smiles to people's faces, not to mock any languages - please give me feedback :)

Trey was busy baking for the Unbirthday party, measuring with professional precision and practicing ease. He's been doing this for years so he considers himself beyond average (honey, stop being modest, you're doing great)

Enter you. Swinging your seat around the Heartslabyul kitchen island chair, you rotated yourself with glee, glued to your phone. Trey could faintly make out your disgruntled mutters and curses as he worked.

When he set the tarts into the oven, pressing the appropriate buttons, curiosity got the better of him. What had you so frustrated and upset? As the vice dorm leader of Heartslabyul, Trey should help you out! He propped his head in the crook of your collarbone, earning a squeak and causing you to almost fall off the chair. He quickly caught you, grabbing your wrists and pulling you back into your seat.

"Really Trey?" You deadpanned.

Trey only shrugged sheepishly, a dust of red crawling up his neck. He had only wanted a peek at what had ensnared your attention for the past few hours.

"Congratulations on passing this level, Y/N!"

Huh?

Trey looked so helplessly confused that you laughed.

“It's Duolingo!" You explained, showing him the app. Trey's eyes widened at the progress you have made.

"I've been wanting to learn a language, but unfortunately," You pouted. "I chose one of the hardest. Chinese."

Trey snickered, drawing out a seat and sitting next to you. He didn't notice the way your cheeks flushed from your close proximity and his warm breathes caressing your skin.

"I've learned it before," Trey admitted, watching your eyes widen before laughing. "Let me help. So here, you're missing this stroke..."

a/n: before y'all start to bully me, i've been learning chinese since i was born. i know how hard the language is, so watch me self-project in trey's short fic. bro- if trey was teaching me, you can bet that i'll be more focused on trey than chinese lmaoo

Jade noticed you coming to the Mostro Lounge very often these days. He was on shift most of the time (no thanks to Floyd's spontaneous disappearances) so he got the perfect chance to observe you at your table. The other customers were boring to look at as he cleaned the bar's glasses but you drew his attention.

You periodically took a sip from your drink before scribbling in that notebook of yours, the green glow from your phone illuminating your face in the dimness of the lounge.

Jade was naturally curious of course. You had been there for more than three hours, what would have consumed your attention for so long?

"Jade?"

He was so lost in thought that he didn't notice your eyes on him, raising a hand to get his attention. He put on a smile and came over, menu in hand.

"What would you like to order-"

"Congratulations on passing this level, Y/N!"

Jade's eyes narrowed upon your phone, staring at the obxonious bright green owl that interrupted him. Jade hated being interrupted. For your sake, he kept his polite facade.

"What would you like-"

"Would you like to move onto the next level?"

Again?

The urge to break your phone and throw it into the nearest body of water was growing stronger.

Jade heaved out a heavy sigh and you chuckled.

"I'm learning a new language," You slid over your book as Jade eyed it. "It's called Korean."

"Oh?" Jade raised an eyebrow. "What are these little squiggles? They remind me of ocean waves or mushroom patterns."

You shrugged helplessly. "Mind helping if you could?"

Jade laughed. Most people would be afraid to get tangled up in a deal with Azul...but you? You were fearless. And Jade was delighted with it.

"I shall do my best."

Jamil was tired from school and taking care of Kalim, so when he stumbled into the Scarabia lounge, the last thing he wanted was you two together, with bright grins on your faces.

It only spelled out trouble for him.

With a sigh, Jamil approached the duo quietly, a mischievous plan to spook them before Kalim's voice stopped him in his tracks.

"Now, you say it!"

"أحبك [Uhibuk]," You said slowly, pronouncing the words with your accent twisting it slightly. Kalim grinned and clapped his hands excitedly.

"Perfect! Now, say everything together!" The dorm leader encouraged you as you blushed bright red/dark.

"Shh," You hissed. "Not so loud, Kalim!"

Kalim chuckled before gesturing for you to speak. You took a deep breath in before saying the entire phrase.

"أحبك [Uhibuk] Jamil," You muttered, your entire face flushing red/dark.

"Perfect! The pronunciation is amazing!" Kalim grinned brightly at you. "Now all you need to do is say it to Jamil! He'll love the confession!"

"Kalim, keep your voice down!" You spluttered. "What if he's nearby?"

From behind the pillar, Jamil's face was practically burning. The Perfect, aka you, had a crush on him? You didn't fall for Kalim's charm, but his nonexistent charm? Oh, Prefect, you've managed to ensnare Jamil's heart just fine.

"انا احبك ايضا [Ana ahibuk aydan]," Jamil murmured into your ear as you jumped from the couch, flopping onto the floor before wincing. You were about to shout at the attacker before realizing it was your crush and your face was burning.

"He says 'I love you too'," Kalim helpfully translated before laughing. "I better leave you two alone!"

With that, the boy dashed away, leaving you two alone in the Scarabia lounge. Jamil managed a smirk and leaned in, closing the proximity between you two.

"Next time, you can ask me for help. I'll certainly do my best."

Rook practically skipped towards you, a bright grin on his face and sparkles emitting from his aura. As expected of Pomefiore students.

"Bonjour, comment ca va?" You stumbled over the words, making mental notes to make your 'j' sound more like a 'zh' in the future.

The blond hunter was frozen in his steps before tentatively replying. Could this be his dreams coming to life? His heart fluttered at the thought of it.

"Ca va bien, merci. Et toi?"

"Ca va bien."

You replied awkwardly, trying your best to keep the same pace as Rook's fluency in French. Fortunately, Rook was quick to drop the language upon seeing your tentativeness and hesitance in replying.

"Oh ma cherie, you made this poor hunter's heart burst with joy! Why, this day must have been blessed by the Sevens, because it has been a wonderful morning!" Rook exclaimed, grinning at you. "Your accent and pronunciation were perfect!"

"Really?" You muttered in disbelief. "I literally only started a month ago."

Rook laughed before nodding eagerly. "Mon amor, let me hear those divine words again!"

"Bonjour?" You muttered in confusion before Rook dramatically fluttered his eyes, a hand pressed to his forehead as he practically collapsed in your arms. You were quick to catch him, although Rook was sure to put the least amount of his body weight in your arms.

"Rook!"

Rook smiled at you, patting your arm before straightening up. He grinned brighter, his sparkling white teeth blinding you. "If you are eager to learn, then this hunter would gladly take on the role as your teacher!"

"Please do," You nodded frantically. "French has been nothing but words in cursive. It's a world of pain for me."

The vice dorm leader of Pomefiore laughed.

Lilia chuckled, drawing attention from Malleus, Silver, and Sebek. He simply told them that he was going to check on you before he mysteriously teleported away, following the echo of your voice. He reappeared in the courtyard, watching amusingly as you swore and cursed at the Savanaclaw beastmen who decided to pick on you today. The one time Leona wasn't napping away here, his own followers decided to bully you.

"Miserabili pezzi di merda, I have seen more personality in a rusty hoe handle," You spat out, growling at them. They laughed back but you held your ground.

"What does this little prey trying to do?" One roared out in a fit of laughter. "Trying to fight back?"

His hoarde snickered. "Pathetic!"

"Lurido porco," You shook your head before calming yourself. "Just let me pass through."

The beastmen took one look at look before scoffing.

"Why would we listen to you? You just a twig we can snap in half!"

"Merda," You swore. You had completely forgotten them in your rage the fact you were outnumbered by three to one. The beastmen were stupid, but not that stupid. They completely knew that they could beat you in both a physical and a magical fight.

"So what is it going to be?" A panther beastman punched his fists togehter, growling. "A fight?"

You lunged at him, growling. Despite the odds against you, you weren't going to go down with a fight. Your arms stinged as you punched his rock-solid face.

"Fottiti!" You screamed, before being punched in the stomach. You groaned on the ground as they came closer. Pitifully, you inched backwards before your savior stepped in.

"Ma che?" Lilia scowled, a dark shadow covering his face as he stepped out from the darkness.

"Mia colombia [my dove]," Lilia crounched near you, hands fluttering over your wounds. You withhold a painful scream as he mended your wounds. "Carissima, are you hurt anywhere else?"

You whispered out a painful 'No' before Lilia gently smiled at you.

"When we get back, I'll teach you better words than just swears," Lilia promised you before standing up, smirking menacingly at the cowardly bullies. "No one touches what's mine, and you're going to learn that the hard way."

btw guys, I have to give some bad news. My PC decided to die on me. Luckily, I got all my Paint Tool Sai files saved on an exterior hard disk, so they're all good, but I can't open them without the app (rip all my wips), so from now on I will post what I can find of what I saved as a png or what I sent on my Discord server. If my PC can't be repaired, I will probably start posting doodles or drawings on Traditional until I hopefully manage to get a replacement.

Atla live action spoilers

I hope there are some native speakers out there that have translated this but for now I haven't checked the tag and I do study mandarin (tho my level is 1.nothing%💀) so I tried to use my dictionary app to understand some stuff and so far im at the first 2 lines from the right page of this spread lol

Oh and btw, these are traditional characters! I only really study simplified ones so im really at sea rn ajskdkeke

I can't even translate the sentences as a whole😭 (tho in my defense i can't see like 5 of the characters) but what i got so far:

First sentence to the RIGHT:

來 = to arrive

臨 = to arrive, overlook, to face, just before, just about to

的 = auxiliary

甩 (?? Not too sure if it's this one) = to throw, to fling, to swing, to leave behind, to throw off

Can't see

當 = to be, to act as, manage, withstand, when, during, ought, should, match equally, equal, same, obstruct, just at, on the spot

看 = see, look, read, etc

The first two together 來臨 = to come closer, to approach.

And i THINK 當 followed by 看 means "wait and see".

No idea how to string that together into a sentence tho (fr, im a begginer🤷‍♂️) but I guess the general idea is: Zuko's closer to leaving behind something? His banishment possibly? And he just has to wait and see.

Second sentence (first on the LEFT of the page with the 2 drawings):

暴 = sudden, violent, cruel, to show or expose, to injure

風 = wind, news, style, custom, manner

雨 = rain

Can't see a lot but I think it's 的

Can't see

Can't see a lot but maybe it's 生 or 上

籠 (??not too sure) = cage, to cage, to cover, basket, to embrace, to manipulate through trickery

暴風雨 all together is rainstorm/storm/tempest.

生 = student, to be born, to give birth, life, to grow, raw, uncooked.

上 = up, upper, above, previous, first, to climb, to get onto, to go up, to attend, on.

As for the 7th one, there's another lóng (this is the pīnyīn) which is 龍 but as you can see, it misses the upper part of the character (龍 vs 籠). However, the reason is I'm pointing it out is bc im still not too sure about that character and this particular lóng has a different meaning, dragon or imperial. Also, if paired up with 生 it creates an idiom: 生龍 = lively dragon and animated tiger = vigorous and lively.

So the second sentence mentions a rainstorm and caging something or manipulating someone or... yeah idk ajsksksks

That's it. I wasted like an hour between looking up the characters, trying to translate and making this post loool but it was really fun🥹 (even if i didnt achieve much lol) and ill slowly try to get through the rest. Honestly, im gonna count this as semi-studying🫡😂!

Man apparently I’m allergic to checking my inbox but HEY better late than never my love!

So my process, if you can even call it that, is chaotic as FUCK!!! I stare off into space writing it mentally first, type all my bullshit in my notes app like a heathen, don’t proofread, drop unsolicited personal lore in the notes, all that. Gonna use TWITR as an example again btw

I’ve said it before, but The Webs In The Rafters is based on a WHACK ASS DREAM I HAD. specifically chapter 17 and the climax of the story. Like I was the Kenny character, Sansa the dog was telepathically speaking in my mind, there were piles of cuddling cats everywhere, the sound of helicopter blades and a trail of spiders in the hay. I woke up like bro what the hell this is a story right here and I went from there. And in fleshing out the plot, pinning the story beats, the time I was writing it was PERFECT TIMING. Because I had a six hour drive to make for a friend’s wedding. And what did my insane ass do? I FUCKING RAWDAWGED that drive. No music, no audiobook, just silent highways and plotting TWITR. By the time I got home I had a very clear idea of where I was going with the story that at that point was only a few set up chapters and a title.

Speaking of titles, a lot of the time I have titles before I have plot, which is kinda weird bc I know a lot of people struggle with titles, but that’s one of the first things that comes to me. Especially with my one shots, like my kysterion fic All The Punches That I’ve Thrown. That lyric popped into my head and a fic idea with it. Song lyrics inspire a LOT of ideas for me.

So does art. Like with In The Truly Gruesome, I saw a drawing emilyartstudios did of Stan and Shelley working a booth for Tegrity at a fair and I was like YO WHAT IF I FUCKED THIS UP AND STUCK ZOMBIE ALIENS IN THERE lmfao. And ofc, the OrangeJuiceVerse wouldn’t exist if I hadn’t seen foxydodo’s art of basketball player Kyle and mascot Stan.

While oneshots come together pretty fast for me usually, being written out in my head to be typed out in the course of a day (back in the days of janitor Riley bored as shit at work and having the time and energy for that lol), multichapters are require more thought structurally. So what I like to do with a multichap:

Think of it in three acts. In script writing, there’s something called the “page 12 event”, the event that gets the plot rolling near the beginning of the film. And I like to stick an event like that at the end of chapter 1 of my stuff a lot of the time, like ITTG and uhhhh yeeting Stan into a mineshaft after we find out the boys are being chased by monsters (jesus what is wrong with me). What I’m getting at: I like to know where my beginning middle and end are, how the characters are feeling at each step, how their relationships change, all that. And a lot of the time I think of the end before I do the middle or beginning tbh. Like I said, chaos. I think of a random scenario (as we know usually someone is hurt and getting taken care of bc I’m fucking evil and that’s where my brain goes constantly), hence the WhumpShots.

And I do primarily operate in WhumpShots. I picture a scene with a character getting their injuries tended, sick and dizzy but having a friend or loved one at their side, etc, and BAM that scene becomes a oneshot. Even the REALLY short ones, like the sot bunny I did last summer called So Only Say My Name, was about 700 words and one sequence of events. That kind of to the point structure comes easy to me, which is why I loved doing Style Week so much; new oneshot prompt every day. And while I don’t usually proofread after I finish a work, I edit as I go, sometimes post random lines on here or send a screenshot to the R.A.N.T. homies (I’ve definitely done this more as of late, a habit from when I attempted writing smut for the first time and would send neen a screenshot all “IS THIS CRINGE?!?” lmfao I love the Idea Trampoline tho). And I can’t spell so autocorrect is fr my saving grace unless it betrays me. Off the top of my head I can think of 3 words in 3 separate fics that I need to fix but am simply not going to bc that requires effort and oh fuckin well.

And I say that, but I may be lax about the more fiddly stuff but I care SO much about the big picture. Like “does this convey the feelings I want it to? Is this going to be a bright spot in someone’s day? Is the vibe I want there?” That’s my priority. If I can leave an impact on a reader, entertain them, make them smile, that’s what matters to me.

Jesus sorry this was a convoluted answer lmao it’s 3 in the morning and I woke up all “hey I should actually check my inbox” and here we are

I’m a new digital artist do you have any tips for starting?

ALRIGHT SO. it took some days to answer this sorry. Do everything. Like just go FOR it. In how u wanna draw. Not everyone has like... a similar way to go about digital drawing. (Some people paint, I do mostly cartoonish and cel...shading??) So whatever feels best for you. Sometimes you learn a new thing its okay to evolve in your art thats normal! Style is... a hard consistency bruh. Stabilization... is your friend if you really want a nice smooth line. (I use it sometimes if something not going great, esp if you want to really follow that sketch!) Lining IS an option. Dont be held back by lining. You can use the sketch, just duplicate the layer and erase some of those lines and boom! lineart. You can adjust as necessary. LAYERS ARE YOUR FRIEND. I draw on a computer so layers are quite unlimited. I know apps that restrain you to few tho which is Dumb but like i guess its a mobile art program. But dont be afraid to use them. Or one. You can get away with one layer, thats how i started before i learned about layers. (Art programs came a long way since then.) SAVE. FREQUENTLY. Also please PLEASE back that up somewhere that ISNT the app itself. If you lose the app or the login... good bye to all that. I have the luxury of usbs and an external hard drive. Just find a way to back that up. Art is a lot of memory and storage just expect that. And yes keep them because then you have something to look back on and go 'dang. ive learned'

The clipping layer is also very useful. u want your lines colored but theyre a different color?? You dont have to redraw that! You can clip a layer over it and color over the lines and boom. Colored lines. Same with coloring layers too btw. Very useful art thing to use. yes even in painting. Also this does help once a while but you dont always have to draw on white, u can change the bg color to something different (depends on the program u can default it to something else so u dont have like.. open the previous file to get the color again.) Like i will change it to greys blues or something lighter cause it turns out. things look very different on different colors. (color theory hello... i cannot teach u that.) There is always a free option somewhere. Do not worry. Um thats basically what i got for ya. Some programs have different perks for you that others wont tho. Such as csp and its delightful vector layers (Sai has this too but i CANT change the pen type. vs csp where u can use any pen. BUT CSP DOESNT HAVE MY WATERCOLOR BRUSH... that i adore.) Animating is a different proceedure. but What it is that i used for a while UHM... Pencil2d. Then i moved to opentoonz. (they are... very different... but opentoonz does infact make some things easier)

#UH BASICALLY JUST EXPERIMENT TILL IT WORKS #like it did take me... actually forever to realize stabilization and vector layers on sai #ive had the program for years....#its a constantly learning process with art

Thank you! I'm on my lunch break right now, so I'll go ahead and go through these.

4. "piece you wish got more love?"

I never want to sound un-thankful, but I think all artists can relate to the feeling of disappointment when they spend hours on a piece and it gets little-to-know interaction. It is during these moments that i try to remind myself that the main priority is still drawing for my enjoyment.

A love letter to Murder Drones

Btw this is just a rambling about how I got into Murder Drones and how it has changed my view of the world, so if you don’t care then don’t read :3

(Also it’s gonna be lengthy and maybe a bit of trauma dump)

I also don’t expect @liamvickersanimation or @glitchproductions to use tumblr, and if they see this I will jump off a cliff lol

So, it started one day when I got the Murder Drones pilot in my recommended on YouTube. Buut I scrolled right passed it cause I didn’t really care about it then. A few nights later, round midnight, I saw the pilot again and caved. I then went to the playlist and watched the first 6 episodes. (This was a month after ep 6 came out)

I did fall in love w/ the style of the show, but I did not understand the plot.

so I watched the show again and again, and even watched theory vids on it. And when I tell you I bawled by eyes out when I watched the show again, got connected to the characters, I bawled by fuckin eyes out when V sacrificed herself.

While watching theories of MD, something clicked in my head and I decided that I wanted to do my own show as well.

but, I suck at creativity and can’t make up new things, just edit already made things. So I decided, if I can’t make my own stories, I would help other people make their stories.

in other words, I wanted to be an animator

after I got my mind in on the fact I wanted to be an animator, I had downloaded many, and I mean many animation apps on my drawing iPad, and tried to 2D animate.

now, I would call myself a shitty artist. I don’t know anatomy and I barely use references too.

so when 2D animation did not work for me, I almost gave up my dream to become an animator, and plus.. I didn’t even know where I wanted to work.

I didn’t want to work for Disney cause I don’t really like their stuff anymore, and dream works kinda fell off too (no offense to any fans of those people, I will respect your opinions)

So I gave up on my dream, and I checked glitch prod. for any new info for MD ep. 7. But, instead of anything Murder Drones a new show was on called The Amazing Digital Circus.

now, I absolutely did not care about some new show, I only wanted Murder drones. Then I caved again and watched TDAC. and I fell in love w/ it as well.

and TDAC brought by dream back up to become an animator. I decided that I wouldn’t work for DreamWorks or Disney,

I would work for Glitch Productions.

now, I have no idea if I’ll ever be able to work for them, but it would be an honor.

then ep. 7 dropped for MD, and I fell in love again with this episode. Especially Flesha. Her movements, her emotions, her flicker design! It was all just perfect!

So I started to look online for ways to become an animator, but not a 2D one.

My mom helped me find a program called Blender.

and yes, I still use Blender to this day

I then started to take lessons from YouTube vids online and once I got the hang of it, I started to look for models that I could pose.

now, I can’t animate good rn cause I have a very shitty laptop that can barely run one model at a time, but I’m still learning.

and then the finale for Murder drones finally comes out. And omfg I have no words

it’s peak perfection

again the characters felt so ALIVE! And FREE!

and it’s what I wanted to do! It’s still is! I want to animate characters that people love and make art or fanfics about.

so.. that’s the point of this “Love letter”

I just wanted to say.. Thank you Liam and Glitch for this amazing show that I and millions of people could be apart of. And I hope I’m able to meet you in person and maybe even work under you one day.

the ios app is such a disaster honestly. idk how many posts ive made on here complaining about the performance and overheating issues but i do know that ive tried to tell @staff about them multiple times, both through apple's report an issue thingy in the app store and directly via the tumblr support page. ive been through every troubleshooting step. i cant even tell you how often i reinstalled the app. i have tested it on wifi and cellular, with 5g on and 5g off. its always the same thing. the app draws insane amounts of power whenever it is active/open, even when im not scrolling, and my phone gets warmer and warmer until it eventually shuts down with a temperature warning or gets too hot to hold in my hand

a couple weeks ago i actually upgraded to a new phone (for context: my previous one was only 2 years old, not some ancient underpowered thing, and apart from tumblr i NEVER noticed any performance/temperature issues so i wasn't really looking for an upgrade, i just got a really good offer from my carrier). the tumblr app also makes my (older) ipad overheat, so i already knew that the problem here wasn't a particular device, but given the chance i was ofc curious to see if things would improve with a newer one. they didn't 🤪

anyway i conducted a little informal experiment with the new phone to figure out exactly how bad the problem is. didn't even install the tumblr app when i first set it up, just to see how the phone would perform without buggy software (the answer is really well)

under normal usage the battery lasts for at least two fucking days. texting, playing music, surfing, fucking reading ebooks, watching youtube videos, we're talking like close to 30 hours of screen time on a single charge. SCREEN time, not standby.

on saturday morning, while using the tumblr app (and only the tumblr app), i went from 90% to 50% in TWO AND A HALF HOURS. that is insane.

like not only is it super uncomfortable to hold a piping hot thing made of glass and metal in your hands, im also genuinely concerned about the health of my battery lmao

until a few months ago i had NEVER encountered this problem, not even on my old iphone 8 that sometimes struggled with other apps as well. tumblr always worked fine. idk what they changed or which weird new feature that nobody asked for is responsible for this but something is drawing power like CRAZY and literally FRYING MY HARDWARE.

honestly its like the world's shittiest screen time reminder lmao. after 30 minutes the temperature starts to get uncomfortable and after an hour i literally have to take a break, close the app for 5 minutes and let my phone cool off. WHICH IT DOES BTW. like almost INSTANTLY. idk what else to say except that this seems to be a feature not a bug. in the sense that it happens no matter what i do

lmao sorry this turned into such a long rant. like i said, i already messaged tumblr support about it but this has been going on for months at this point and i am P I S S E D

Yo quick question, what drawing app + brushes do you normally use? fking love the jacq applin reaction image btw

I use Clip Studio more often, but from time to time I also use Paint Tool Sai 2. As for brushes, I juggle around a lot of brushes but the current ones I'm using are:

which I got from WolfyTheWitch if I remember correctly, in their twitter they linked a drive for all the brushes they use. Pencil R1 is somewhere in there

It's one of the base brushes CSP comes with. It's in realistic brushes. I usually use it for coloring or simple shading

As of this post, there's a daily log in bonus happening within the asset store and the lowest Free Clippy they give out is 15 so get it while you can!

Hiii!!! This is my first post and I'm really new to this app, and so far I really love it. I honestly only got this app because I read fan fics and I found out that Tumblr had a lot of fan fiction on here, so I got the app! I was reading fan fiction on Wattpad but some of them are just not it rn. But anyways, I also write fanfiction, I'm writing one rn on Wattpad if y'all want to read it or not.(it's my first one btw!) It's about Nightwing aka Dick grayson so if y'all like him or enjoy his character, y'all should read it. It's a Nightwing x reader imagines so yea. I might write fan fiction on here as well, maybe though. And I do edits on my tik tok so if y'all like edits go check my tok tik out. Btw I'm not the best at editing so sorry! But the past year taught me a lot about friendships so I’m just working on myself this year. It’s kind of lonely but at the same time really peaceful? I think I’m happier now than I’ve been in a long time. Yeah the lack of friends and companions makes things lonely but it’s not something that I’ll let break me anymore. I know I’m stronger than that now. Someone’s I think online people are easier to interact with because there’s no attachments?? Like if they left me I can assume something happened or they decided to go offline but I know for sure (mostly) it’s not my fault you know? And people online are just so much kinder in general. Not that I interact a bunch of people online, just a few, but that’s just my experience so far. Didn’t mean to go off on a rant there my bad 😅.

I’ve posted a few things on my blog but only drabbles really. I’ve been wanting to start doing analysis’s for a long time but I never got around to it. Just like character analysis’s and relationship analysis’s and story arcs and all that jazz. I love all of it. And in my opinion the best stories are the ones where the characters are what drive the plot of the story. TR did an amazing job of doing this and it’s one of the reasons I fell in love with the story in the first place almost immediately.

Comfort fics are my favorite and the ones that explore real experiences and feelings and aren’t just a colt bf paste of the same words really do it for me.

Yeah, it gets lonely here- but at least it’s peaceful; I follow a few blogs - mostly art + JJBA updates (and I’m super excited to check out the new eps of stone ocean) interaction wise... i have tried it out before, but none of them lasted long. what hurt me the most was when i was trying to be genuine abt something and writers here (not all but some) are really closed off yk? like they're fine interacting with friends but are really selective with new people? cause of that i just gave up interacting with them altogether and after my ideas got taken and neither was anything being reciprocated back on my blog by them despite us following each other- cause it goes both ways and if its just me, i wont do it anymore. my experience online hasn't been that great except with the upload of fics... and the only interaction i would get was comments or going through tags that was included by the person who reblogged it- but with recent developments, a lot of that has changed and i'm comfortable talking to people now ૮ ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶ ა

Safety is super important to me - that's why i never reveal too much about myself just small things cause you can't be completely safe on the internet- like when i was still a small time writer i got followed by a spanking account (istg the way my eyes widened when i saw it; and it wasn't even the kinky variety- it was traditional method of disciplining someone) - won't go much into detail about it but yeah i ended up blocking him. Unfortunately, I don't use tiktok. I used to be there - but i realized that i wasted a lot of time with endless scrolling, some of the content had received a lot of likes despite there not being enough effort? not to mention my ex's friends came to troll me through that app. I deleted my account and as i got older, i decided to never go back - so now i just stick to pinterest, twitter and instagram with the latter two being purely for uni reasons. so yeah i'm not much of a social media kinda person - and yeah i live under a rock and i'm ancient (*꒦ິ꒳꒦ີ)

I haven't watched chainsaw man just read the manga- but i think i should start watching that cause mappa did a good job with it and honestly- the animation looks very different than their usual (i was roped into re-watching aot - likes reiner and porco )

My Favorite Characters are Diluc and Zhongli!! :D SDFSDFSDFSDF Zhongli gets thrown to the side a bit because its easier to come up with Scenarios for Diluc for me (and Kaeya is a very cool and good character as well and also fun to draw.) SDFSDFSD that's so fair, Kaeya isn't my favorite (tho I love him) and i draw him a lot as well. not a true crime girlie, not into murder. lisa frank enjoyer. watches pastel doll customisation videos. she is a gamer, though! she likes jrpgs and took the job as a video game tester to make some extra money, and because she thought it might get her foot in the door in the industry, hopefully as a graphic designer ( her qualifications are really, really bad anime art from 'how to draw anime', but she's thriving ). her 100% completionist tendencies got her into this mess. she thought the rabbit was an. easter egg.

was a wolf girl in middle school. roxy would have been her favorite and it's a crime that she was forced to get into that rabbit suit. woke up one day and the program was like hiiiii <3 i went into your paypal and then opened your joann fabrics app and ordered you eeeeverything you need for your new suit! i hope you like youtube tutorials because if it comes out bad i will feed one of your loved ones to a shark. sent it to your workplace btw so now the entire office will know you're a furry.

he thinks this is a bonnie and clyde situation while vanny is slamming her head into the wall. she doesn't want to get a job she's not qualified for as a security guard she wants to go to comiccon. william is so up his own ass he can't 'give her the spotlight', but a sidekick would make him look so cool and official wouldn't it? lazytown logic.

meanwhile she is fucking terrified of gt and leaning into the sidekick schtick in order to hopefully get a good grade in murder and survive without getting killed herself. she stares at herself in the mirror and tells her reflection that it's okay. she's doing what she needs to do to get out of this. she's putting herself first because she's a survivor and a winner. she is justified. those kids needed to die so that she could win. this was one of god's tests to see how bad she wanted to grow old. she is justified.

lying out the ass to her family. she's telling them she got into college. harvard, in fact. for marine biology! she's going to be a fish vet! at an aquarium! it will be so cool! see how she's thriving? and she's always been a compulsive liar, it's just part of who she is, but it kicks into high gear when she actually has something to hide.

does literally swap places with william from time to time, hence princess quest; when he's in her, she's in the arcade machine. however, william is not solely responsible for all the crimes she commits.

he is however responsible for coercing her into them with threat of torture / death. i.e. responding to her googling 'how to include self-compliance' and 'help' to trigger a red flag by forcing her to look up gory information -- 'how far can a human being be cut in half before losing consciousness'. he also orders things for her as threats -- 'ordering thumbscrews and having them delivered to the office' 'flowers for your grave' etc.

post-sb like i refuse to go back to therapy i'm too smart for it. i therapise myself constantly. i know the answers but i refuse to apply them. i know exactly what i have to do but i won't do it.
