Y'all I'm begging you to learn how to grow what you can at home. Look into cheap hydroponics set ups or get dollar store pots and container garden if you don't have a big yard. Get dollar store seeds or save scraps from when you cook. Lettuce, onions/green onions, garlic, and potatoes regrow pretty easily. Carrots tops can be regrown to get seeds to plant and I've known people who have had luck growing from seeds in their fruits. I know there are people who garden in their apartment, otherwise if you have one in your area and can afford it join a community garden, there are probably plenty of people who would be willing to teach you what they know.

Okay, I saw your recent post and have a writing request 🤣 a kinda sorta forbidden romance kind of story with Benedict Bridgerton. Like what I think of is Love Story by Taylor Swift. The two of you had to find ways to see each other more often, stolen glances in the park weren’t enough to satisfy that burning need inside of you. You craved each other’s bodies like fire craved oxygen, at the last ball of the season the two of you snuck out to the gardens desperate to get away from the crowds of debutantes who only care about social status and town drama. The labyrinth of flowers became your shelter from your uptight parents, your back pressed against the cool stone of the bench as Benedict cupped your breast through your dress, his lips attached to your neck as he whispered promises against your skin. “I’m going to marry you. You shall be my bride, the mother of my children, the love of my life, i swear it.”

Thoughts of running away flooded your brain, you knew it would break your parents heart but you were too in love to care. The moans that flew from your mouth were absorbed by the shrubbery that surrounded you as he took you right there under the stars.

Sei is probably the only one that acts differently in front of the camera than in private - bringing out more of that inner alure and his Host voice, but is rather calm and stoic in private. Morgan and Blake might be a bit less extravagant, less flirty all the time in private, but it's not a big difference. Fion is a firecraker all round. will express their feeling easier in private. One might not see it on their face is something ever offended them. Eli, Kitai, Ragnar all basically wear their hears on their sleeves.

Preference in partners… Well Ragnar obviously wants a family oriented, loyal woman. For the others, they don’t have super specific things, love is blind and all that.  Morgan I imagine would not particularly want a complete slob as a partner, at least for more fancy events. Doesn't have to be full formal attire, but at least not a mustard covered shirt.  Blake just wants someone who will not criticise them for their lifestyle and would potentially want a partner that would want to join them at least on occasion on their escapades. Eli and Kitai just want to be loved and respected by their respective partners😅everything else is a bonus. Fion - someone who’s into tentacle stuff, lol. Would prefer someone who doesn't fear the ocean, at least when they’re together, and who would join them for various underwater activities. Sei - someone who is just his.

Family... Morgan - their Maker and a few vampiric siblings.  Great (times 15) grand-niece they kept track of. Eli - parents - gets along well enough with them, even if they're a little overbearing. Ragnar - parents and an older sister. Blake - none, but they consider all incubi siblings in a way. Kitai - a loving grandmother. Fion - 17 younger half siblings between their separated parents. Gets along with absolutely none of them. Sei - he’s got family out there somewhere, but I imagine nagas being pretty solitary creatures outside their couples. He’ll expect any future children to move out quite soon (with help ofc if needed) and will never be one of those implicated parents. Will adjust a bit after MC for some stuff, visits, calls, holidays spent together, but will never coddle or be a helicopter parent.

I just realised you might have meant if they want a family, not if they had any 😅 Morgan - not particularly, but wouldn’t be opposed to it with the right person Eli - yes, at least one heir Ragnar - yes! Blake - would prefer not to, doesn't think they’ll be a good parent And they’re probably right Kitai - would like one or two, but not a dealbreaker if MC doesn’t want any Fion - a bit traumatised by their family, would require a lot of convincing, but secretly wants a loving family not like the one they grew up with Sei - eventually, maybe, but not a priority and only if MC really wants one

YES MADARA BEING A FATHER IS ONE OF MY FAV THINGS IN THE WORLD

- Madara with 5 children is A REALITY. Internally he tries to resurrect the image of family he had before getting dragged to war as a child, and give his kids a life not tainted by blood and death.

- He decides to have a family once peace is a fact, no other way around it. When he understands his children will not be in danger of being killed as soon as they set foot outside the clan, the time is right.

- 4 boys and 1 girl.

- First pregnancy comes with a son. The eldest remains an only child for about two years, and the Uchiha spoils him for being his first. The boy goes with dad everywhere, attends all the meetings with Hashirama, and they spend a lot of time in the garden looking at the flowers.

- Second pregnancy comes in a pair. The twins destroy family harmony but inaugurate a new dynamic. Madara can't pamper all three of them at the same time, so their uncle Izuna, mostly, takes care of these two. They spend more time with their father's brother than anything else, following him around and even helping him with his practical jokes on Tobirama. When Madara catches them red-handed, he scolds all three of them equally, as if Izuna were his son as well.

- By the fourth, the first three brothers are a few years older, so they help with his upbringing. Madara follows him closely and personally trains him like the rest of his sons. He and his father love to enjoy a cup of tea on rainy afternoons, while the other children play in the mud. This one being much calmer than the rest of his family, the Uchiha finds with his fourth son a connection of peace and harmony. He soon becomes his right-hand man.

- The fifth changes gender and is the first female in the family. She quickly becomes Daddy's princess and gains all of his undivided attention. The fourth child gets jealous, but Uncle Izuna helps to calm the waters, distracting the other siblings while Dad takes it upon himself to shower his newborn with love.

- Soon, all her older siblings are extremely protective of her, with a total of six personal bodyguards if you add dad, her uncle, and the rest of the children. She grows up away from war and fighting, as the princess of the clan, protected by all the men in her life.

A small scene of love, family, and happiness!

Madara accepts the cup of tea his fourth son hands him, filled to the brim with hot liquid. The boy is becoming more and more skilled at preparing the drink, and this makes him deeply proud. They share a relaxed chat while his daughter, at his back, braids his hair, filling it with flowers Uncle Izuna picked for her from his garden.

Outside a deluge is falling, from which the three of them are sheltered inside their home. Madara watches the water fall as the twins fight with Izuna in the rain. The two managed to convince the younger Uchiha to train them personally, and he did not make it easy for them. Under the terrible weather, they move back and forth, soaking wet and giggling as Madara hides his own smile in the hot drink.

His eldest son concentrates in a corner of the room, reading a book written by Madara himself. It recounts the history of the clan, the wars fought, and all the leaders of the clan, all the way back to the founder, Indra. The Uchiha is comforted to know all his offspring have passion and joy, focus, and determination to achieve things. That they will grow up as children, just as they should be, and not surrounded by death and destruction.

Somehow, the image he finds himself part of reminds him of his childhood. Those moments of false peace before his father dragged him and his brothers onto the battlefield, losing three of them along the way. He knows his own siblings would enjoy family life as much as he does today, and that he would watch them play and tease his kids just as Izuna does.

I had for a couple of my Patrochilles and Parenthood series, particularly on my OC. Tbh, I'm shocked I don't receive more, given that Black female characters usually receive minimal grace. Everyone's been very supportive, if not necessarily completely understanding the perspective of the narrative (thus the "your OC is a self insert" comment. Like, I'm writing about the experience of Black girlhood, where else am I gonna pull from lmao we tend to go through particular things!)

Nah, not really. I'll usually include a sex scene here or there, but I don't write just straight smut. There's always gotta be some angst or some sort of plot. I don't think my writing is good enough for straight smut, so I leave that to others.

Technically my Patrochilles fics are crossovers, but fr I just tag both fandoms for reach. If I'm focused specifically on the TSoA rendition, I only tag for that. Otherwise, no. Same idea with MDZS.

Apparently so! Well, not stolen, but heavily inspired by. Since it wasn't word for word, I'm not willing to get lynched by white fandom to start an argument about it.

Blooms of a Wilting Garden. It's a WangXian fic I was super, SUPER passionate about... And then I burnt out of both the fic and the fandom. It was just so toxic in that space that I got disillusioned. Maybe I will- it is outlined!

16. writing strengths:

I personally think that I'm very good with dialogue and character motivations. I'm also very passionate about movement while I write, bc I think that it adds emphasis to both of those things. But yeah, I'm very intense about motivations- how might someone's character change in certain situations? What might cause an outburst in one moment might generate an incredibly calm response in another, all for the same character. It all depends on the situation, and I like exploring that.

17. writing weaknesses:

I feel like I could do better with "prettier" writing. On the one hand it's a style choice, I tend to prefer words that get to the point I'm trying to depict. On the other hand, sometimes I wish I could write as beautifully and set up as well done a setting as other writers. I've been trying to do better with that. But I also write fic as a hobby so... 🤷🏾‍♀️

18. thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

I've tried direct translation (language, then the English translation next to it) and italicizing. Some phrases I know well enough to use the former, but if I get caught up I will use the latter.

Hmmm... This is hard. I love all my fics as a favorite for different reasons 😭😭 the overall winner? Restless, my first AshEiji fic. It's one of my fics that I'm always rereading, and I love how it came about because of two nightmares I had. Like they really worked in allowing me to write a perspective on Eiji that I felt I wasn't seeing in the fandom at the time. Protection (my second Philia fic) is my second place.

A little about the sims...

Cassidy Whitmore (she/her) - Music Lover, Outgoing, Mean - Unapologetic, loud, and the mastermind behind The Whitmores, her and her brother's duo. A bit much to handle sometimes but a brilliant songwriter without much of a care for actually doing her homework, after all why write essays and answer multiple choice questions about songwriting when you can actually be writing songs?

Quinn Whitmore (he/him) - Music Lover, Paranoid, Good - Cassidy's younger brother. He looks up to his sister and has followed her lead thus far in life. His passion, though, lies more in the instrumental side of making music, and he's responsible for mixing songs that he and Cassidy work on together under the name The Whitmores. Good natured and friendly but overly anxious and tends to overthink too much. Actually does his homework, unlike his sister.

Whitley Miller (she/her) - Geek, Bro, Slob - The ace of Britechester's ESports team, Whitley's entire life revolves around gaming, modding games, and, well, more games. She's already completed several small video games as well as dozens popular mods for various games. Though some could say she's a little.. Unorganized, but who has the time to clean their room anyway?

Kai Māhoe (he/him) - Adventurous, Active, Squeamish - Britechester's all star soccer player, Kai is an athlete through and through. Outside of soccer he also snowboards and rock climbs, having gained himself several sponsors while still being in college. He's hoping to study abroad for a year and go to Mt Komorebi in order to reach the summit of the famed mountain for which the area is named.

Zoe Cho (she/her) - Art Lover, High Maintenance, Vegetarian - An artist who holds her opinion in the highest regard. Dreams of becoming an art critic but only after having her work featured within every famed San Myshuno gallery's walls. I imagine she wears contacts but unfortunately that's not a thing in the game so... Her natural eye color is brown. Member of the Britechester Art Society.

Blake Nora (he/him) - Perfectionist, Bookworm, Loves the Outdoors - You might recognize Blake if you've seen my last sim dump. His cousin, Jennifer, and him are pretty much identical. Blake was created by accident while I was trying to figure out Jennifer's look and personality. Anyway, Blake's a devoted student but rather than go on daring adventures like his cousin he'd prefer a good book and a small garden. He's a member of The Debate Guild solely to put it on his resumed, as he hates confrontation and arguing... So basically everything about The Debate Guild.

Averie Stewart (she/her) - Dance Machine, Hot Headed, Noncommittal - A dancer and cheerleader pursuing a career in theater, hoping to one day travel the world performing, never settling anywhere. Loves to have fun and hang out with friends but don't get on her bad side. Fun fact: Her look was inspired a lot by K-pop group dance practice videos. Member of the Foxbury Spirit Squad.

Gus Richards (they/them) - Self-Absorbed, Genius, Glutton - A medium with psychic abilities and an ego that's waaay too big. They're going to revolutionize paranormal research (so they claim). Probably watched Ghostbusters one too many times as a kid. On Foxbury's robotics team.

Forgot to share this yesterday, but here's another AU. This time around is the NPC Unit's AU. Again, long text, I'm sorry 😅

And right from the start, the most important thing to remember is: canon doesn't (always) apply here. A lot of things change with this AU and it's probably my most developed AU, seeing how I started it in 2022 (November to be more specific). This also means that I was limited to the NPCs that we had access to since November 2022. I don't plan on changing anything unless it's something I haven't 100% decided on. That outta the way, here are the NPC Units, the OG Units they're replacing, their initial VS and SEKAI, and a little bit about them as a group:

→ STANDOUT - Leo/need. STANDOUT was created by Iori and her fellow bandmates: Mio, Miu, and Kotaro.

While Mio and Miu both have experience playing an instrument, past street artist Kotaro doesn't. He makes up for it with his passion and determination, setting time aside to learn to play his synth outside of band practice. STANDOUT's biggest desire is to go pro, however Iori and Mio have a breakup similar to Akitoya's in VBS's main storyline. They do, eventually, reconcile and their true feelings change their first Unit song from "Untitled" to "Unhappy Refrain."

Their SEKAI is the Live House SEKAI, which is pretty self explanatory. It's a Live House. It was created by the whole unit.

Their initial VS are Miku and MEIKO. LH Miku has hair that leans more blue than teal with black streaks in it and is tied in low pigtails. She wears a bomber jacket over a T-shirt and ripped jeans akin to that of the male street parka outfit. MEIKO, on the other hand, wears a sharp red suit, with a cropped shirt under her jacket, something you can only see whenever she leaves it open. MEIKO acts as Miku's manager more than her fellow bandmate.

Going back to STANDOUT, they have their ups and downs. From Iori's and Mio's big fight, to Kotaro sometimes feeling discouraged that he isn't as far along as the girls. But they help each other grow and see reason. Kotaro is usually the one to tell Iori to get her head outta her ass, Miu is the one who'll work with Mio, and Iori is the one who makes sure they all stay on track (a good thing, but also can lead to her being a bit overbearing and hence Kotaro telling her off).

→ Blossoming ✿ Melodies - MMJ. Blossoming ✿ Melodies is an idol group created by Mai, Nanami, Yuina, and Ayaka.

Former idols Mai and Nanami return to world of Idols after meeting Yuina and Ayaka. Mai is the one to ask, and while hesitant, the other three agree. And it all stems after Mai apologizes to Haruka, only to learn the former idol wouldn't return. She's full of guilt and doubts what she can do as an idol. It isn't until she meets Yuina, who shows her a video of a girl who dreamed of being an idol, was denied one too many times, and rather than wallow in sadness, she found a new dream to chase: dance. It was inspiring to her, hearing about how something negative led to something positive. How someone who was told no, didn't let that break her down, rather she kept looking and found something else she was passionate about.

And that's what Blossoming ✿ Melodies's overall message ends up being. To never give up on finding happiness, even if that means chasing a new dream.

Their SEKAI is the Stage SEKAI, but it isn't like MMJ's. For one, it's outdoors. And second, it's located in a large garden. Due to having a floral theme, it made sense that their stage is located in a garden full of flowers. The Stage SEKAI is large, with many stages undiscovered by the girls.

Their initial VS are Miku and Rin. Following the flower theme, their Miku is Sakura Miku. This Miku is dressed in soft pinks and teal accents, with cherry blossoms and actual cherries in her hair. This Rin is the only one who diverges from her original design, having long hair in her default appearance. She's themed after daffodils, with one attached to the ribbon that has her hair half tied up. She dresses in different shades of yellow with white as an accent.

Blossoming ✿ Melodies's Untitled song is "Upside-down Reverse Rainbow"

As I said earlier, the girls have a flower theme going on. Mai is represented by purple hyacinths, representing sorrow and seeking forgiveness. Fitting for the girl who's looking towards forgiving herself and is full of sorrow for her past actions. Nanami is represented by the blue star, representing perseverance, persistence and strength. She's the one pushing everyone to continue, the one who won't back down, the one who is making sure that Blossoming ✿ Melodies works. Ayaka is represented by orange daisies, representing happiness, friendship and warmth. Ayaka is considered the nicest of the group. She doesn't want to live in regret, she wants to live happily. She's empathetic, kind, social, etc., so she's usually the one setting up things they can do with fans, the one who'll speak first, and the one who makes friends the easiest. And lastly, Yuina is represented by white chrysanthemums, representing honesty and loyalty (it can also represent grief and mourning but they don't suit Yuina). For the longest time, Yuina had trouble being honest with others (and herself ) while also being loyal to them. The two feelings would clash, leaving her unsure as to whether she should be honest with friends/family, or if she should be loyal to them and not say anything. It's something she's working on, priding herself on not holding back how she feels, while still maintaining a strong sense of loyalty.

→ FR33LY 2M0RR0W - VBS. Past RADer members Taiga and Nagi team up with Arata and Souma in order to create more events in Vivid Street. They want to recreate the glory that is RAD WEEKEND. The desire to surpass said event is still there, but it isn't that relevant to their story. They want to be impactful, to have people show up and realize that they want to pursue music. Originally, RADer was meant to reform, but Ken denied the invite, choosing to stay in his café. He does, however, give advice to the four.

Their SEKAI is known as the Street SEKAI. But rather than a café, they're close to several live houses, each one representing a VS. Only two are active: Miku's and Len's.

Their initial VS, as mentioned above, are Miku and Len. Like LH Miku, Street Miku has her hair tied in low pigtails. She, however, is also wearing a leather cap on her head. Her clothes consist of sweats, a tank top and a cropped jacket. This Miku is very active, she's running around, putting up flyers of her upcoming shows. Len, on the other hand, wears a denim jacket over a graphic T-shirt. His jeans are covered in paint, as he prefers making posters and flyers over performing. It's more fun in his eyes. Sometimes he even adds colorful streaks to his hair with temporary dye.

Ironically, their Untitled song is "Freely Tomorrow."

FR33LY 2M0RR0W has had long talks about RAD WEEKEND, with Arata often voicing his displeasure at how the others seem to have just, forgotten, how big of a deal it was. They hadn't. They just don't see the need to surpass it, when they can do so much more just trying to get to people. It's something they don't have to pursue. If it happens, it happens. But it isn't the end of the world if they don't. This discussion is what will eventually lead to Arata's first focus event, "Passing the Torch," where he eventually decides to help a duo known as the BAD DOGS in their journey of surpassing RAD WEEKEND.

→ Phoenix ReIncarnation - WxS. Formed by Sakurako and the eldest Otori siblings, PxReI is meant to get more visitors to PXL. The group was formed after it was decided that the Wonder Stage had to go. It's destruction leading to Emu running away. But no matter what they do, visitors just keep decreasing.

Their SEKAI is known as the Theater SEKAI. It's a rundown theater, with stained furniture and ripped posters. It's empty and full of dust. A symbol for what PXL is going to become if they continue to focus on it's glory. An abandoned area.

Their initial VS are Miku and Luka. If you think of "World is Mine" Miku, that's their Miku, but more bitchy. Everything has to go her way. She's the star. She's the reason the theater was successful. She was what they wanted. It's all about HER. She has no consistent appearance and is always demanding things. Luka is her manager. Like LH MEIKO, Luka wears a suit. She's often trying to appease Miku, but she's also done things without asking her, leading to two of them to fight. Both think they're in the right, even when one of them is very clearly in the wrong. Luka is strict, cold and snippy. She wants to get the theater back to glory, but it's so hard when Miku's demands are what led the other VS to leave, starting with the Kagamines and ending with MEIKO.

Phoenix ReIncarnation's Untitled song is "CONNECT with the World!"

PxReI see their SEKAI as a sign that things need to change. And they have to make those changes. Yes, they want the park to go back to it's glory days, but as Sakurako eventually admits, it's okay to make changes to the park, but they shouldn't change what the park is meant to be: a place where anyone can leave with a smile. It's meant to be a happy place, a place that can get anyone to smile. They can't do that if all they focus on is fancy new rides and attractions. She can understand why Emu ranaway, the Wonder Stage was old and bound for either repairs or replacement all together. But denying her the chance of trying to save it, trying to make a place people can visit and potentially get a smile from, after being promised she could, must have felt like the biggest stab in the back. They made the decision and didn't tell her. And when they tried to explain, they did it in a way that was demeaning of her ideas and emotions. Again, it's no wonder why she ran away. And from what Sakurako has seen from nearly running into the youngest Otori, she has found a new family to live with. This leads to the eldest Otori siblings asking her if she knows where Emu is living, so they can actually go and listen to her, hear what she has to say and apologize. And she does, after all she did manage to talk Emu and her new older brother into doing promotional performances with her outside of PXL. The elder Otori siblings eventually find themselves in the Tenma household (the irony that the person Emu ran to ended up being someone they didn't hire), listening to their baby sister as she let's out her frustrations and how much it hurt being told something, PROMISED something, only for it to mean nothing. They never listened to her. She was childish in their eyes. She didn't know anything about what could help the park. She had ideas, sure they might not have worked, but they never let her try. They never gave her a good reason why they couldn't, just "it's too childish" or "be serious for once." Tsukasa, Saki and Toya do. They tell her why it's impossible, but rather than tell her no, or telling she can try it just to not let her try in the end, they work with her to make her ideas possible. How can she trust her own family? That they won't go back on their word, hurt her again, that they mean it when they say they're "sorry?" Hinata, Keisuke and Shosuke do, eventually, get kicked out by Tsukasa. And as their leaving, Hinata is able to look inside via the window and she gets flashes of her childhood, and how she, Keisuke and Shosuke used to comfort Emu when she cried, just like how Tsukasa, and two others, who must have been Saki and Toya, were currently comforting Emu. And, while it might seem like a last ditch attempt, whether to get more visitors or just to get Emu back home, the three elder Otori siblings talk their father into repairing the Wonder Stage, with the siblings, Hinata especially, intending on handing it over to Emu (and Tsukasa).

→ Night • Watchers - 25ji. Aka, the Shitty Parents Club. The N•W are: Harumichi (fuck you), Shinei (fuck you), Mr. Otori (fuck you, you're on thin ice and I have salt and rocks at the ready) and Mrs. Asahina (fuck you especially). They get together to talk about their kids, expectations and unexpected things that have happened to them.

They DO NOT get along, whatsoever. Mrs. Asahina will often try to tell men how to care for their children. Shinei and Harumichi blame the other's son for influencing their own, respective, son. Mr. Otori is more focused on his park and why his kids were so determined to change his plans for it.

Their SEKAI is the Manor SEKAI. It's a large manor with a beautiful garden. It's always night time in the SEKAI. The manor is quiet and dusty, much like the Theater SEKAI. But unlike PxReI's SEKAI (which does, slowly but surely, get repaired), the Manor SEKAI stays eerily quiet and dusty.

Their initial VS are Miku and KAITO. Miku, in this SEKAI, is quiet, timid and a bit anxious. Her hair is lose and she's dressed in a nightgown. She prefers to be alone, and thus will hide from the adults and only ever seek KAITO's company (until the other VS arrive, in which case she'll look for one of them). KAITO is dressed like a butler (because that's his role), in crisp suit and a towel in hand. He's polite and always has a strained smile on his face. He's Miku's main caretaker and isn't pleased when the SEKAI's owners cause her to feel distressed. Because of this, he'll often kick them out and tell them to explore the gardens (Miku, hiding behind KAITO: KAITO, they scare me ): KAITO, to N•W: Get the fuck out, you're scaring my kid :))

Their Untitled song is "A Lie and a Stuffed Animal."

The N•W do, eventually, just talk. Again, it's mainly about their kids. But they also talk about themselves and the past. At one point, Mrs. Asahina asks Shinei and Harumichi what they do when their kids runaway, since Mafuyu ranaway and she had no idea what to do. They weren't of any help. Shinei just, waits for them to come home. Harumichi used to drag Toya home from the Tenmas, where he always goes, but recently he hasn't been able to because the eldest Tenma brat (because that's what they are in his eyes) chased him away with a frying pan, and somehow, SOMEHOW, has his neighbors so wrapped around his little finger, an old woman threatened him with her rolling pin ("At least it wasn't a knife." "Shut it!!"). Now he ALSO has to wait, and Toya just, doesn't really return? Again, no help whatsoever.

Now, for some miscellaneous fun facts :D

• FR33LY 2M0RR0W's name was the last one chosen, prior to that I had already decided that "Freely Tomorrow" would be their Untitled song.

• Emu first found out about the Wonder Stage being demolished when she was heading over to the stage to meetup with Tsukasa for the first time. She was dressed up and excited she found someone willing to help her, when she saw the demolition team already taking the stage down.

• Of the original units, the only ones (as of now) that have/will form(ed) are: Nightcord and WxS. MMJ and VBS won't (Minori is pursuing dance, with Haruka eventually becoming her dancing partner, An, in this AU, doesn't want to surpass RAD WEEKEND, she just wants to hold her own memorable event, and she also wants to help Kohane get out of her shell. The Vivids don't form, but the BAD DOGS do.) I have not decided if L/n would form yet. I'm leaning towards no, but it's not 100% decided. I can be swayed to keep L/n.

• As I mentioned early on, canon doesn't always apply to this AU. It's very evident by the fact Nagi's still alive and well. What I haven't decided on, was if I should still have her be sick (I think she had cancer, I can't remember I play EN and I haven't watched any of the events that have come out on JP) and have an event focused on Nagi and her leaving FR33LY 2M0RR0W and having Ken join them as one her final wishes. The one thing I know I'd want if I went through with the event, is for her to mainly spend it with An.

• As I mentioned in the N•W's and PxReI's parts, Mafuyu, Toya and Emu have all runaway from home. Of the three, Toya is the one who has done it the most, Emu has never done it nor has she considered it, and Mafuyu has considered it but has never done it.

• Hinata wanting to give Emu back the Wonder Stage is the main focus of her first event: To See That Bright Smile Again. This event will be our introduction to PxReI's Kagamine Rin.

• FR33LY 2M0RR0W's first event leads to Saki and Ichika picking up their instruments again, both having attended the event and playing there after being coaxed gently by Nagi.

• Mafuyu and Shizuku currently don't attend school. Mafuyu is hiding out in Kanade's house, and doesn't want to risk being found by her mother, when the last time she saw her, she meant it to be her last day alive. Shizuku, is taking a semester off to recover after she had an emotional breakdown during archery club, a result of the bullying she went through during her time as an idol. It became to much for her to handle and under doctor's order, she has to take time off to heal mentally and emotionally.

• Saki and Ichika no longer attend Miya Girls. Ichika attends the same online school that Kanade does, but they're not classmates. Saki, at her own request and her parents insistent, transferred to Kamiyama and is in Akito's class. Both transfers were done after they, Honami and Shiho got into a rather big argument. They tried to stay but it became hard to focus, and so Saki was taken out and transferred to Kamiyama, where her parents felt more secure she'd be taken care of. Ichika would leave a few days later.

• Since Blossoming ✿ Melodies has a floral theme, all their VS follow this theme as well. As of right now, the ones I've decided on are: Miku - Cherry Blossoms, Rin - Daffodils, Len - Sunflowers, and MEIKO - Roses.

• Kohane and An meeting kinda goes like it does in canon, just minus An looking for a partner. Kohane gets lost and An finds her endearing.

• The N•W's is the only unit that doesn't grow and get better. STANDOUT'S improving and becoming more tight knit as a band, Blossoming ✿ Melodies's are doing everything they can to ensure their message is sent, while also working on their own flaws, FR33LY 2M0RR0W's moving on and continuing to inspire others to pursue music, and PxReI's working on saving PXL, whilest keeping it's original meaning and trying to earn forgiveness from someone they hurt. The N•W's are stuck in their beliefs and refuse to change. The only one who has, albeit not that much, is Mr. Otori, and he barely counts because he didn't want to change his ideas, he was pushed into changing them.

• Mai's first focus event is called A Light in the Dark: The Girl Who Found a New Dream. It focuses on Mai first meeting Minori and learning about her trails and errors in trying to become an idol, and how upsetting it was to be turned down over and over and over again and again. She learns how Minori was going to give up and forget about chasing dreams, when a video she posted of her doing an idol group's dance routine went viral with people asking her to teach them. Deciding to take the chance, she made video after video of her dancing, doing tutorials and eventually, she branched out of idol dances. She learned, she taught, she danced. She danced and danced and has never felt happier. It was then she realized she wanted to become a dancer, maybe a dance teacher, but it was a new dream to chase.

I'm doing well, thank you for asking. 💙

Also never fear about asking me too many questions; I love getting asks, I just wish I had more time to answer them all.

Ludovica would like a large family in theory, but she has no experience of them since her parents only had two kids and she wasn't close to any extended family members. She wants to raise kids with MC, extremely prefers them to be biological so they have a piece of MC and her in them but would love adopted kids who need the love she wishes she could have gotten as a kid just the same.

She would like to have as many kids MC wants, sort of always wanting more but MC has to keep in mind she will spread herself so thin with giving the kids all the love and attention they could ever need. Someone has to make sure she doesn't over do it.

She would prefer the family stays at home as much as possible for safety reasons, with the exception of the gardens of course but those are highly walled; so it's still very private. She loves spending time together and would want the family to never be apart. Even when the kids coming crying to sleep in the bed with their parents; you can be sure she is crying alongside them begging MC to let them. If she had it her way they would sleep with you guys all the way up to their teens, and even then she would let them stay until they are comfortable sleeping in their own rooms.

As for activities, she likes doing stuff for them like knitting or crocheting but she likes to watch them do things they enjoy while she does that. She would support any hobby or passion her kids have, would like to sit down and watch them paint, play music, sing, woodcarve, anything and support them 100%. She would like it if they did hobbies MC likes to do, that would make her heart absolutely melt.

Things the family would do together would probably be gardening and (if MC can convince her to leave the house) going out to watch plays at the theater.

The last thing I can think of would be that she doesn't work and won't force her kids to either when they grow up she is happy living off of her inheritance from her late husband. It would be the only good thing that monster ever did for her and there is enough to last her and her kids lives, so long as they live comfortably not lavishly.

MC can work if they wish but she will whine and beg them not to so they can spend more time together. MC will also have to teach the kids to be able to do something to make a living so they can provide for their own kids. Since the wealth won't last three generations, they gotta learn how to make money from someone.

Langris x Finesse--dear goodness do I love them! Just thinking of them rekindles my passion for Black Clover! Criminally underrated ship, in my opinion. I have an entire Spotify playlist about them, so I will admit it was a little hard to narrow it down. In the end I've decided on a Finesse song since I feel like most of the time when I ramble about this pairing it's always very Langris-centric (i.e. his feelings and his devotion for her) so I don't talk about Finesse's side of things too much. (Sorry Finesse). The song "A Quiet Thing" really captures how I imagine Finesse's love for Langris would develop as a very slow burn and dare I say "quiet thing" over time, really building on this quiet, steadfast devotion that endeared me to this pairing in the first place. I love this song for them since it's really about how some love (like the love I imagine Langris and Finesse would have for each other) is "a quiet thing," and even if it's not the flashy, grand "fireworks" kind of love we tend to think of from epics romances, it's still really beautiful in its own way.

And here's where the headcanons come in:

Langris and Finesse both are very "quiet" in the way they show their love, neither one of them are going to plan the big romantic gestures or have these huge over-the-top love confessions, but they are both very devoted and steadfast people. They love spending time together, really just enjoying each other's company in these everyday moments as they have tea or tend to her garden together. Langris might not have the romanticism of someone like say Finral (those big "band" or fireworks"), but he takes care of her. He listens to her and remembers all these little details about her and her life. He pulls weeds from her garden when she mentions she's worried about it but too ill to tend her garden herself. He surprises her with a few of her favorite flowers or her favorite soup when she's feeling down. It's in these moments that Finesse sees that despite his somewhat frosty exterior, Langris really does have this soft side and cares very deeply about "his people." It's his soft steadfastness and devotion to her that really leads her to really fall in love with him. And when she does, she is a little shy about it and skirts around the topic, but ultimately, she is the one to confess first.

As for the Altan & Ezio cousin friendship part of the ask... It's so wholesome and makes me so happy that you care about my oc enough to ask about him. I like to imagine they would get along well and be good and supportive cousins and friends for each other so perhaps a bit generic (but one of my all-time favorite songs) I've chosen "You've Got A Friend" by James Taylor (the Carole King version is also excellent).

As the older cousin, Ezio has always tried to look out for Altan, in a similar way to how Finral always tried to look out for Langris, but in this case, Altan has always felt comfortable coming to Ezio if he was ever in trouble or needed help. In return, Altan always tries to cheer Ezio up when he's feeling down (or heartbroken). He'll make a warm, comforting cup of tea for him (something he learned from his mother, Finesse) and is a great listener when/Ezio ever needs to talk about his troubles.

Alright, sorry for the rather explanation ahead 😅

Basically, what happened is that I read the SaB trilogy. And it changed everything. Because I love the Darkling in the show, but it's Ben, so it was hard for me to tell if I just liked him because Ben did an amazing job, or because the character in itself was great. I struggle a little with writing villains, so I didn't want to risk doing a bad job, or to get you all excited and then after a couple of tries decide to backpedale and to not write for him in the end. It's always a little stressful to me to write for new characters, and I've started writing again not so long ago, so I wasn't ready to take the risk after watching the show. (I have however already written for him, will post the fic next week, so I'm sure, we're good to go, don't worry)

The problem with the show, for me, is that I was not particularly interested in Alina's storyline tbh. I was more excited to see the Crows (like many viewers, I reckon). And I was excited to see the Darkling because it was Ben, but not really because it was the Darkling (do you know what I mean?). And I didn't realise in the show how terrible the situation for Grisha is literally everywhere, not just in Fjerda or Ravka. So I wasn't that passionate about the Darkling tbh, and my attachment to him was 90% caused by how awesome Ben was on this show.

But then I read the books, and several things changed:

- I now hate Alina with a passion and if I didn't like her in the show, I genuinely wanted her to die in the books (sorry to all the Alina stans... I can't with her...)

-The books to me showed better how Grisha are safe literally NOWHERE. Like... there is no safe place. They are rounded up and killed in Ravka the second the Darkling's power wavers and the Little Palace is compromised. They are experiments for scientists in Shu Han, they are burnt alive in Fjerda, they are bought as slaves in Kerch. And I didn't feel how desperate the situation was in the show. And that made me turn full on team Darkling, because then Alina's crazy hope that everyone is going to live happily ever after all of a sudden is plain ridiculous... it's been going for centuries, it's not gonna change all of a sudden. And no matter if the Darkling's methods are ruthless, he is the only one who managed to offer a semblance of safety to his people in centuries.

-And then there's the Darkling himself. I can't say that his portrayal was more appealing to me in the books than in the show (who can beat Ben on that? No one...). But there are details that I really liked in the books compared to the show, including how endangered being an amplifier makes him even among his own people, and the fact that no one knows his name in the books. I loved that, because it shows that despite his efforts with the Little Palace, even if he manages to take the throne, he will always be alone, and he was always alone. And I felt the toil of eternity a little bit more in the books. Which is always super fun to play with as a writer cause... angst... you know 😉 I also loved the call back in book three on the 'Fine, make me your villain' (I don't know if you've read the books, but I will explain): because at the end of book 3, The Darkling wants to lure Alina in the Fold, and for that he threatens to slaughter Grisha children that Alina had placed in Keramzin after the destruction of the Little Palace. Lots of things happen, but Alina does get into the Fold and she asks him where the children are and he basically answers 'well, they're probably having lunch or playing in the garden in the safe house where I've left them' and she's super confused by that like 'you said you were going to kill everyone!' And there there is a call back on the idea that... she made him her villain. He acted like one because it served his interests best, but now that she's convinced, he doesn't even need to actually do anything, the threat is enough. And i love how he just goes 'they are innocent Grisha children, why on earth would I do that? Don't you think enough people on our side have died already?' And I just... I love it. The manipulation of it. His image. The... everything, that scene is so important bfbfjfkfkfjfjkfnd (sorry... going into fangirl mode a bit)

In conclusion: I loved the Darkling for Ben in the show, and as I am not used to write for villains, I doubted myself too much to write for him. But now I've read the books and I have turned full on Team Darkling, he is now my baby, my child, my husband, I love him, I want to give hugs and kisses and keep him safe and help him commit genocides. So here we are...

Hiii!!! If it isn't too much trouble and if there still open may I have (male) final fantasy matchup please. My pronouns are she/her. I tend to be shy around new people but I can be somewhat loud with people who im close to. My height is 5'0. I would describe my aesthetic as girly/soft/cottegecore, lots of long dresses and skirts.

Im not very athletic and im not a big fan of sports but I love to go roller and ice skating. I also love to read books and to also cook and bake food. I also like to garden. Today we harvested our first bounty of the year! A beautiful bell pepper and 3 Jalepenos! We are so excite to have them in our meals this week. Fresh form the garden picks are always so much better than anything we can buy in a store.

The passion flower is blooming! She looks absolutely gorgeous and I'm so happy that these just decided to pop in our garden last year. I guess the birds dropped them off. 😅🤣

I thought I should do an update on the Rosemary that I saved. She is doing very well considering how close to death she was! She is growing new little baby arms and I'm so excited.

We were supposed to get lots of rain this weekend....So I had decided not water or do anything yesterday after I finished working in the garden. I left the orange mint plant to it's own devices too thinking we would be getting an inch or two of rain. SURPRISE. We got absolutely nothing so I had to water this little guy. It was limp and sad today but I was so worried about overwatering since other things in the garden were looking a little sad from over watering.

Other than that everything in the garden is looking good today and totally enjoyed the sun!

First Kiss

Julian hadn’t even noticed the damn plant until Robin pulled away from him and pointed at it above their heads with a grin that could only be described as shit-eating. “Is tradition, right?”

Right. Julian furiously hated the way his heart fell and disappointment settled in his gut like a stone.

“Tradition,” he echoed hollowly, trying desperately to laugh it off. “Yeah, sure.”

With that he turned away from Robin, not wanting him to see how much that stupid, meaningless kiss had rattled him. Why did it bother him so much anyway? It wasn’t like he hadn’t kissed – or been kissed by – someone under a mistletoe before. Quite the contrary, in fact – it had happened so often that Julian could now hardly remember all the lovely people he had locked lips with at office parties or Christmas dinners in the past. Kisses had been all part of the fun. So why did this feel different? Why did this feel like his heart was breaking in a million pieces?

“Julian?” Robin asked softly from behind him, pulling him out of his thoughts.

Julian took a deep breath and forced himself to swallow around the lump in his throat so he could face him with a smile that felt so wrong it almost physically hurt. “Yes, Ape?”

He was surprised to find that the grin had disappeared from Robin’s face. Instead, his eyes mirrored the sinking feeling in Julian’s stomach as he asked, very tentatively, “We cool?”

Try as he might, Julian could not hold his gaze. He shuffled his feet and shifted uncomfortably on the spot until he finally managed to mumble, “Yeah, yeah. Course we are. Now, if that’s all I’m afraid I’ve got to run. I think I’ve heard the Captain calling my name.”

The Captain, of course, had not called his name – couldn’t have had, really, given that Julian could see him strolling through the gardens with Kitty and Humphrey’s head at this very moment from where he was standing by the window. But he needed to get away from Robin, even if only for a few minutes, to regain his footing before his stupid brain and bleeding heart did something he would deeply regret later on.

So he turned to go.

Robin’s hand on his sleeve stopped him.

“I’m sorry,” Robin said quietly with his eyes fixed on the point where their hands almost touched. Outside, Kitty had started tossing Humphrey’s head into the air as she walked. Julian desperately tried to concentrate on that rather than the fact that Robin was standing well inside his personal space. “I … I hurt you. Was not my intention. Promise.”

“It’s fine,” Julian muttered, blinking against the sudden stinging in his eyes. God, why did he have to be so–

“Is not,” Robin insisted. He walked around Julian so he could look at him. “I was not quite … honest. Tradition is not only reason why I kissed you.”

His hand slowly slid down to Julian’s wrist. Julian swallowed hard when he intertwined their fingers, his heart alight with hope. “It’s not?”

“No,” Robin said softly. He gave his hand a squeeze before he stepped closer and leaned up for another kiss – a real one this time. It wasn’t as wild or passionate as some of the kisses Julian had received in the past. Surprisingly far from it, actually. But somehow, the gentleness made it even better; special in a way perhaps only his first kiss with Margot had been.

He felt Robin smile against his lips before he pulled back.

“We cool now?” Robin asked as he absentmindedly brushed a thumb over the wet trails leading down Julian’s cheeks as if to banish all traces of sadness from this moment.

Julian choked out laugh and leaned down to bring their foreheads together. “Yeah, Robin. We cool now.”

9. Starlight/Maul

It has always been a desire of Starlight's to have a family, as they are Mandalorian family is a big part of it. Their own? Adopted? Foundlings? They just wanted that one day but as the years progressed slowly put that dream away as it was clear no one in Sundari shared the same resolve and passions ...well until a certain Zabrak burst in. They know Maul is hesitant about the idea but Starlight doesnt have thier dreams shut down if anything Maul wants to hear about thier hopes and desires...

Maul? children? Ha don't make him laugh. Him a father? Him? You can cite concern for the child's safety and laugh about the poor misfortune, but truthfully the prospect at first terrified him to his core. Immediate fear and hate would surely follow. Maul would second guess himself, doubt himself and over prepare for any terrible scenario that could come about. He is worried about failing any children...but at the same time a part of him wants that chance. He would make sure the child had the best life.

 Savage/ Angel 

Angel will turn bright red and smile sweetly at the idea, they aready adore the foundlings who come visit them in thier garden to learn. They would love that with little ones of their own one day...teaching and working together with a little face smiling joyfully. 

Savage has to wrap his head around the prospect. He believes he had children...but then again no one can or will confirm. He has to be reminded that he is not on Dathomir. Not anymore. No one will take the chance away from him to raise a child. He sighs and a glimpse of a smile starts, “ A child would be agreeable to discuss.” 

10. MAULLLLLLLLLLLL, Maul is definitely the one among Maul and starlight to hide how he is feeling. He will be bristle up, act upset, be more on edge than usual and Starlight will be patient. It has taken time but Starlight has been able to tell what sort of emotion he is feeling beyond the outward anger. Fear. Doubt. Concern. Sadness as well. Starlight gives him the space should he request, but will aid him through the difficulty moments best they can. 

 Out of Savage and Angel? I think the two are tied. Savage is quite good at holding in what in what is bothering him, with a bit of coaxing Angel is able to get him to talk to them and they can work it through. Angel on the other hand hides behind sweet smiles, behind grins. It hurts to see them do this...and Savage can sense the tension in his beloved. 

54. STARLIGHT WILL CARRY MAUL TO BED (if they can the beskar makes him a tad heavy) but gosh they will try! 

   Savage. Angel would die trying, he is too too big for them.
