Reblogging last post just to say!! The other content about Benrey's family is in Holly's Chronicles of Benrey video. One Chronicles is by scorpy and on his youtube, the other is by Holly and can be found on the HollowtonesVODs channel on YT. The one by Scorpy is very cool but I will say it will give anyone 'wtf am i watching' emotions, but i think that's just just him and his artistic excellence, everything he makes is a a trip in a very /pos way. Holly's is very funny and kind of like watching a little kid play with dolls- partway because it was done in gmod and was just her spitting random shit. Other side thing off HLVRAI is the HLVRAI ACAB (AI Crushes All Banks) stream, which was a charity stream done a bit after HLVRAI where all the cool dudes go and rob places! Very cool! The vods are on youtube (pretty sure they are on Wayne's channel, I also believe there are videos with the clipped out parts by other users the same way there was for HLVRAI!) Emmet and Benrey's mom (Mama Moula) are in the chronicles stream, Emmet is also referenced by Gnome Chompski in Wayne's other series Half-Life Alyx But The Gnome Is Self Aware (also on his channel). John is from the ACAB streams. The reason we mentioned the milk and the sort is because in TCOB Benrey grew up on a dairy farm :)

Asking desperately for more people to acknowledge the spin off and side things in HLVRAI with Benrey, please include Benrey's brothers, I need to see Emmet, I need to see John. DESPERATE FICTIVE CALL & RANT!

This is a call & a rant. One of my system mates, A US tour Love Never Dies 'based' Mr. Y, has posted in here before & has been ignored, so he made & has been reblogging every day on our account, & I'll do the same if I must. I'm also an Andrew Lloyd Webber 'based' Phantom, but the 1st musical only. Ben Lewis, West End, 'based'. Christine was 'based' off Kelly Mathieson. Mr. Y & I are among the few single people left, & we're hurting! Even the couples in system are upset; they can't have dates etc.! All we want is a partner system, &/or someone we can all be friends with! I myself am really struggling with my sexuality; I don't know if I'm gay or bi, but I, like the other men here, are screwed because the body is female! We keep getting into relationships where we're gaslit & verbally abused; even just with FRIENDS! Are we doomed to, as another system mate said, " 'The few single people left in our system say 'single af' sucks & hate it; they wonder if anyone will have an outside relationship, or from an outsider perspective, "I'm dating myself".' A friend said we're the healthiest system they've ever met! Do we have a sign that says 'I was constantly abused for 19 years; do it to me some more!'? Nightmare Turned Reality

Tom walked over to his big kitchen counter; two glasses with one of the finest bourbon whiskeys in hands. With a soft thud, he placed one of the glasses on the counter, in front of his best friend, who sat on one of the bar stools. "There you go." He said, sitting down beside Benedict with his own glass in hands. "Thanks, mate." The dark-haired Brit took a small sip of the alcohol, tasting the flavour on his tongue. "So... It's final?" Benedict asked rueful, actually not wanting to ask this question - but he had to. Tom swallowed hard, took a big sip of the bourbon, but nodded meekly. "It's final, yes. We..." He had to take a deep breath, in order to control his upcoming emotions. "Y/N and I, we... We're getting divorced, yes. If everything goes by plan, we are going to sign the papers in two weeks." Ben had to swallow as well now.

He had seen it; witnessed it... Tom's and your relationship going downhill. You and him were such a sweet, wonderful couple. Five, almost six years everything had been dreamlike. Sure, there were arguments and fights, but that was normal. Every couple went through that. It couldn't always be sunshine and rainbows. You were so in love; the both of you never thinking that you could fall out of love again... But it happened. Neither you, nor Tom could mark the beginning of the end. It just... Was there one day.

Perhaps everything went too fast... Marrying barely after two years... Having a baby after one year... Maybe that was it. Or perhaps it was the publicity and the fact that Tom was famous. You weren't - which wasn't a problem at all. You were not even close to the film industry. You were a hairdresser - and the most beautiful woman in the- Tom shook his head. It was over. You often told him it was a lot for you to handle. The press, the publicity, the fame... Maybe it was too much in the end.

"Tom... Evie. What..." The actor's best friend started, swallowing hard. "What is going to happen with-" "Daddy?" As if on cue, Benedict got interrupted by said little girl. Evie stood in the door frame of the living room, rubbing her eyes with one hand and clutching her way too big stuffed animal - a koala against her chest with the other arm. She was dressed in her violet nightie; actually, supposed to be asleep this late. Tom could see a few dried tears on her cheeks and the redness of her eyes. He had a guess... "Hey, baby girl." He cooed, immediately getting up from the bar stool and walking over to her. "What's wrong, sweetheart?" "Had a nightmare, daddy." She snivelled, causing his heart to break for his daughter. Nightmares were cruel sometimes. "Oh no, I'm so sorry this happened to you." Tom immediately picked her up in his arms and exchanged a look with his friend, who nodded with a soft, sad smile. The two friends didn't need words to communicate. "C'mon, sweetie... I'm going to tuck you in again, okay?" Evie nodded against his shoulder. "Mhm."

Tom carried his daughter back in her nursery, where he sat down on her bed, still cradling her in his arms. Of course, she was way too big for his arms and lap now, but still. It gave her the feeling of safety and comfort. "What was the nightmare about, baby girl? Can you remember?" "Mhm." She mumbled and readjusted herself in her father's lap, snuggling close against his chest, blonde-brown curls bobbing. She had the same hair like her dad when he was younger. "Do you want to talk about it?" Another nod from the small girl. "You and mommy were shouting at each other." Evie started, causing a cold shiver to run down Tom's spine. "It was so loud and frightening, I covered my ears and sat in the corner, crying. Then you said you didn't love mommy anymore, a-and that you are going to leave. I-I was so afraid that you are going to leave me, daddy." Tom swallowed hard; his heart breaking completely now. Unbeknownst to his daughter wasn't her dream just a nightmare... It was reality. How... How on earth should he or you ever tell her? It would hurt her so bad. Hence, it already did...

Tom squeezed his eyes shut, deciding to focusing on the here and now. "First of all..." He started, cuddling his frightened daughter even closer. "Daddy is never going to leave you, okay? Never." "Promise?" Evie mumbled, holding onto her father for dear life. "Yes. I promise. You are the most precious thing in my life. I can't live without you, baby girl." To underline his words, Tom pressed a firm kiss on the top of her head. "Secondly... It was just a dream, sweetie. It's all in your little head. A dream can't harm you." He hated himself for lying to his daughter, but what choice did he have? Telling her and making a little girl's nightmares come true? No, he couldn't do this. He didn't have the heart to do this. The Brit's heart started to bleed even more, clenching with pain. Yeah, you bleed just to know, you're alive, Tom thought, fighting the tears so hard. "I'm here, okay? You don't have to be afraid." Evie didn't answer, just tried to be as close to her dad as possible. "Can you stay until I sleep in again?" "Of course, sweetie. Just let me say goodbye to uncle Ben, okay?" "Okay."

Tom quickly left the nursery again to explain the situation to his best friend. Ben understood, of course, and left right away. After that, Tom crawled into the way too small bed for the tall man, and enveloped his daughter, giving her again the feeling of safety. "That okay, sweetie?" "Uh.Huh."

Evie had been long asleep again, when Tom still laid inside the bed, eyes wide opened, glued to the unicorn night light. He couldn't sleep; the guilt of lying to his daughter eating him up inside. Why was life so cruel sometimes?

what??? richie tozier himself is giving hys opinion on getting shipped with his friends??? more likely than you think ;3 basically i was bored and currently procrastinating switching out so our academic can study (hate my life get me back to derry yall</3) BUT ANYGAY XD here we go ✨✨✨

Reddie: 7/10 I have a complicated opinion on this one. The fandom loves it, and as a concept? Sure it's fucking awesome. BUT. I've had a Bad experience dating an Eddie fictive, I won't say much besides that our old host (hate his ass) basically forced me into that relationship just bc he shipped reddie and that caused a shit ton of trouble 😃 But anygay I still ship it as long as I myself am not part of the relationship XD (I'm. actually writing a reddie fic rn. XD)

Stenbrough: 7.5/10 Another fandom favorite! The way I see it, they'd be sweet af. Like, healthiest relationship ever been. What's wrong with it then? The same thing as reddie, Belle (our Bill fictive, mtf, she/her, misgender and/or deadname her and imma be after your ass<3 and not in the MrsK way) got forced into a relationship with a Stan fictive, but it went So Much Worse than mine for some reason TwT And welp I still ship it but kinda eh-ish (the 0.5 it has more than reddie is bc im not in the ship XD)

Benverly: 6/10 I need y'all to know, I'm talking about IT 2017, not about the adult Losers. Adult benverly get a 9/10 at least, but teen benverly? I don't see it. I don't think bev is ok enough to have a healthy relationship, and I'm pretty sure they'd end the same way as most highschool sweethearts - breaking up. Ty: he’s a god and very smug about it. He may seem self centered but he’s super sweet. But his confidence, he could distribute it so everyone had enough and he’d still have too much! Cannot do basic things like make Mac n cheese or use the washing machine.

Habit: Emh fictive. He’s a mix of annoying and cool. “What are you talking about I’m not the annoying one here.” Supposed to be short yet he towers above me, and it’s not fair! He’s sadistic to say the least, but he’s not completely bad.

Ben: Ben drowned fictive. He’s creepy. He has this terrifying laugh and he’s always vague. He and habit get along though. Always floating through the headspace with a smug grin on his face.

I'm soo conflicted about S2! Personally I only truly enjoyed Klaus and Allison storyline. I love Ellen Page usually but some scenes I found so boring I liked Sissy more than her. They really did Vanya dirty and I hate it so much. Partly I'm happy peolpe liked S2 so we can maybe have a S3 and hopefully give her a better arc but still

I....I think that it was the least integrated anon and removed from the story with Luther’s coming in a close second but his independent story fell off pretty quickly and integrates with the main storyline. But the problem of it being separate from the main apocalypse story would have felt less so if it had been written more strongly and the writers had given it the time it deserved rather than relying on out-dated tropes and storylines. I think TUA often likes to brand itself as being innovative and certainly there are some aspects of it that are very....weird and maybe even fresh but their story/character arc choices aren’t one of them.

I feel like I always harp on this but the character writing in TUA is bad. I think the character/character arc writing was at its height in the first three eps of season 1 where characters had clear motivations and solid characterizations. As the season went on the character writing kind of just got worse. See, characters need to make sense. TUA is a...fantasy/scifi...mishmash of a genre fictive work, that means that they can pull shit like season two’s final twist where they bend the rules they’ve established for time travel but what is less flexible is character writing because for a show like TUA that would be its grounding element. But honestly, it feels as though the writers this season somehow....forgot? about everyone’s character arcs from last season and opted to just have everyone play out the same character crisis as last season? I think the only ppl who’s character arc carried over was maaaaaaaybe....Luther and Allison? but....the decision for Allison to not use her powers anymore happened off-screen in S1 and she ended up using it again anyway, same for this season.....Luther....kiiiiind of has some growth but it happens so suddenly and also off-screen that it’s kind of....hollow.

TUA writers seem to rely A LOT on off-screen character growth or instant character growth. take Klaus and Ben’s relationship at the end of S2. In S1, we are given their dynamic. It's pretty run of the mill, a sort of...play on the buddy cop duo trope. Ben is a mostly responsible and level-headed person who has been chained to an eternal child with self-destructive tendencies. They constantly antagonize one another though they seem to care about each other to some extent but this doesn’t really change in S2. Up until Ben’s departure, Klaus continues to antagonize Ben and insult him and Ben continues to have zero respect for Klaus and his choices and criticize him for his actions. They never really reconcile or change by the time they depart so when Klaus asks Vanya about Ben in the car, the narrative tries to frame it as though its a big emotional moment when just a little while ago they were still throwing petty insults and comments at each other. It doesn’t make sense. It is an unearned emotional beat that rings as....well untrue. The flashback that they had given us that same ep doesn’t really help either because it comes too late and therefore had ZERO effect on the pair’s dynamic throughout their entire relationship. This is poor, unsatisfying writing.

And I could go on for ages about why Vanya’s arc just....really doesn’t work this season. yeah yeah, I know everyone loooooves this new, not-sad Vanya but it is wholly unsatisfying the way she got to that point. It happens instantly. She didn’t grow, she didn’t change. She was brain-damaged and magically all her problems are gone (also I could go on for ages about why this doesn’t work either. trauma lives not just in the brain but in the body. read “the body keeps the score”. its a great book and a very informative read and anyone who wants to write characters who have trauma should read that book). This isn’t growth. It’s an erasure. And some can argue that Vanya is more entertaining now that she’s not bogged down by her trauma and abuse but to that I say 1) fuck you but also 2) she may be more entertaining but she is rendered almost inert this season. There’s no way for her to really continue on her S1 storyline and she isn’t really allotted the time needed to create a new arc for her. Naturally, the arc that should have been hers should have been her figuring out her place within the family. Had her memories survived throughout the season (though they hardly seemed to make a difference once she DID get them back, she showed no fear of using her powers despite remembering that she killed the whole world a few days ago, no hesitance or shame towards her siblings who were complicit in her abuse and oppression but whom she had hurt immensely, why even give her memories back? now they have reset her arc AGAIN!!) this arc would have worked nicely into continuing her S1 arc. Her place in the academy was...arguably the most stable out of all the sibs. Where they all seemed to have vied for the top-dog position, Vanya’s placement rested permanently at the bottom but now that this has been disrupted, there’s a lot of reevaluation that has to be had. But! I digress because this was not Vanya’s arc. Her arc (if you can call it that) was...once again divorced from the main storyline until the end YET AGAIN!

Season 2 was....highly frustrating for me. It seemed to have a higher budget which means the sets were better, the action more elaborate, and it is honestly a beautiful show but the show did very little to improve its issues with storytelling and its writing and that was a real bummer because I am in the extremely bad and unfortunate habit of liking good stories.

11 - first impressions of your fictives

Woah, I don’t know who to answer this- mostly because I’m like, should everyone say their thing? Since you know, everyone has different perspectives? To keep the answer short, I’ll just say my point of view! And if anyone has specific people they wanna ask, you can ask again! Actually, starting now, if you guys want someone specific to answer you can say so!

So... I won’t state everyone, because there’s a lot of people, but I‘ll do the people I’ve talked to properly!

Chara - Scary and really serious, like, they don’t have to tell me anything I could totally just leave the room if they gave me a glare. Even if they’re shorter than me, they have this like vibe that tells you that they don’t mess around

Kris - I thought he’d be quiet at first, he didn’t move a lot, but then he was suuper welcoming and dragged me into a lot of stuff- honestly he really helped me into getting used to front a lot! It felt safer when he was around, especially in my first days

Mister Crowley - he looked really business-y, but I liked him. I thought he was cool, and then he ended up being one of my dads! I thought he’d be a more angry person, but he’d rather lounge on a sofa

Miss Toriel - she’s soft! And she’s such a good mom.. she’s so supportive of everyone and just wants everyone to feel safe and happy! She really cares

MJ - I won’t lie, I was like super weirded out, excited, and worried ALL at the same time. Like, I was just is she gonna be okay here, like is it gonna be weird? And then you know, she found out I liked her this whole time and I found out too I think, and I guess we’re.. together now?

Miss Undyne - very loud, super supportive, and i was afraid that she’d just supplex me if she wanted to. She kinda yells a lot- but to support you!

Frisk - finally, someone else who gets to be called “baby”!

Mister MTT - I was honestly really nervous to meet him.. I was the first person he talked to- and that fear of when new members say “oh I’ve been here a while now!” Is real. Then I saw Frisk run over to jump all over him and he was really cool. He’s super flamboyant and when he talks in the body, he still sounds like a celebrity! He really cares though, I think that’s awesome

Miss Fluttershy - she’s kind of like the show.. uh, I won’t lie, I was a little tired after the first few days..? because she was panicking almost the whole time for two days straight and the emotional bleed was pret-ty intense so we were kind of having a panic attack non-stop for a while..? Fandom policing

I didn’t know that was a thing (silly me, 30+ lgbt autistic person who thought people could allow each other to have fun with fiction, I mean the fuck was I thinking?!) but apparently - of fucking course - it is. And it’s so fucking stupid.  Fiction means that it’s not really happening. No actual, alive people get hurt when someone makes a fictive person go through hell. Well, our poor reader’s hearts get torn, but isn’t that kinda what literature has ALWAYS done to them? Different people find different things tasteful and distasteful and a good way to deal with fiction that makes us feel sick, is to either use it to challenge ourselves or simply - and this seems apparantly strange to some people - NOT CONSUME IT. (Oh, btw, this is definately not directed to the BS fandom since I’ve not seen fandom policing there at all, but I read about it from other fandoms and I catched the “old, grumpy lady flu”.) Seriously. Is anyone forced to read stuff they don’t like? Is it really necessairy to demand that our beautiful pit of writers (and also: I’ve read so many “real” books that aren’t half as good as some of the stories I’ve read at AO3 and I also work with writing and editing in my native language, so yeah, I can safely say there are a lot of people of AO3 that aren’t only just as good as “real” authors, but even better) avoid certain subjects or present every fucking POV from every fucking minority in order to be “respectful”? Fuck no. This is fiction. This is unpaid fun we do on our spare time, using already made up characters to enjoy our favourite worlds, stories and persons over and over again in all the ways we want. And let it fucking stay that way. Let people write exactly what they want and if you find it too distasteful, then stop reading. It’s not as if there aren’t more stuff to read.  I’m bisexual and autistic and I don’t feel like other people owe me stories about bisexual autists. I don’t even write about them myself because I simply love gay stuff and that’s not a political statement. It’s a personal taste. Some people really have to learn the difference.  I still long for more Billy/Vane, Billy/Ben, Billy/Ned and Billy/Silver stories though (yes, I love my fucked up former bosun/quartermaster/first mate) and yes, I get a bit whiny sometimes when I long for something new to read but mostly find canon stuff - I mean, with a little help, almost every ship can set sails - but that’s my personal taste, nothing more.   There’s literally nothing we can’t do in our imagination, if we just don’t report ourselves to an imaginary police.

TFP is Mind Palace – Sherlock’s coming out

What if… Sherlock imagines his coming out in TFP? Just my reading of it, but full of hope – please let me walk you through it in my different posts to proof it. Expecting your comments.

What if TFP is exclusively is in Sherlock’s mind palace where he comes to his terms about his emotions by road-testing his feelings and what exactly ‘coming out of the closet’ would mean and feel like for him and the people important to him (John, Mycroft, Molly, his family)?

But for Sherlock who trained himself his entire life to repress his emotions, it would need a strong trigger, to break his old pattern of hiding feelings behind rude behavior. If John would be fatally injured and Sherlock is not aware if he will pull through, this would be the strongest trigger I can imagine.

We don’t know if John is really been shot yet, but the last scene of TLD is red (start of the new storyline ‘Rouge’, which we will explore later – hopefully 8th of March we get a teaser when the expected 4th episode will air that will reveal the truth?) and we did not get a proper answer, as the next episode TFP is all in Sherlock’s head (mind palace), like TEB.

Because I felt so miserable after TFP first, I watched it several times and started to go through this episode scene by scene in different posts (Mycroft’s residence scene, 221B Baker Street (3/3)) to point out why it is mind palace, and did much research in the details like Oscar Wild and Lady Bracknell the pictures at the wall – all that subtext is about gay people and how society deals with it (feel free to check it out. I am still on it to post the next scenes, but the subtext is so rich and full of information, it takes ages to do the research – and as I’m no native speaker, I will miss a lot hope you guys can help me with this.)

John getting shot and survives is cannon in ‘The adventure of the three Garridebs’ Sherlock is panicking and takes care of him ‘It was worth a wound, it was worth many wounds, to know the depth of loyalty and love which lay behind that cold mask." This is what John writes in ‘The Strand’ after that event. I don’t think that the writers will miss the opportunity to show us Sherlock suffering about John’s life!!!

To find a solution how to save John Watson (TLD – Mary’s message) he is using his mind palace to find out how he can provide his feelings to him, before John maybe dies without knowing. We know that Sherlock works the best when he is under (emotional) pressure.

Remember Sherlock saying in A Study in pink: “Bitterness is a paralytic – love is a much more vicious motivator”.

Before he met John, he was bitter and alone. With John in his live, everything changed, John humanized him, changed him to the better! If he loses John, he has no reason to change anymore, he (maybe) would become the same bitter person like he has been before John.

This time, Sherlock wants to make it right, he is asking for help at the end of T6T, but not Mycroft, as he is aware that he can’t teach him anything about feelings. So he asked the only person, who really knows John, which is Ella, John’s former therapist, what he can do about John. Ella tells him, that therapy can only work, if Sherlock is opening up. Sherlock replays, that this is not his style – and we get no more information, if he did it or not.

Coming out is not about one moment, just one kiss and everting is fine. It is a process that starts in the head (mind). You first need to find out, who you are, and that can be a really painful thing. The next steps are to accept yourself the way you are. Then you are out with yourself, you learn to live with it. After that you need to decide, if you go further and maybe tell it to your love interest, or to your parents, to free yourself. At this point, many gay people are in therapy, because their parents, relatives, friends or people at work do not understand the pain you are going though, just to be yourself without hiding a part of yourself. If you find enough acceptance here, your next step could be to publicly come out if it is silently while holding hands or kissing your friend in public and watch the reaction of the people surrounding you or by making it public as a statement on a party or something similar. I think most of the LGBT people do not get to this point to make it officially public, because they are too afraid of it. And this is why we are surrounded by LGBT people every day that we do not recognize. But if we start to watch silently, hear and read the subtext of their behavior, or short comments, we will get a glimpse of how many there are amongst us. But why do they hide? – Because you need a strong self-believe and self-confidence to be strong enough to resist being hurt every time that people show you that they do not understand or accept you. Also it depends on the country you live in, still today, there are countries that will arrest you for being gay or even kill you. So some LGBT people need to hide their entire life. Also the society does not accept you the same way that straight people are accepted and maybe you do not get the job you like, because people know, that you are gay. Or you live in a religious community, where there is no room for diversity.

Coming out is a unique experience for each person, who needs to go through this kind of process.

Bearing that in mind, think about that Sherlock is probably 40 now, like Ben is, and it is the first time in his life, that he allows himself to research his feelings so deeply. He was always aware that he is gay. But what does this mean for him before and now? He grew up in the Thatcher era and during the HIV/AIDS crisis. It felt different in that days to be gay. Stars like Freddy Mercury never had an official coming out, it has just been the rumors in the press until he died. Also we get reliably informed, that Sherlock never had sex or a relationship before, in his live. So imagine how difficult it might feel to start at this age to learn about yourself.

It is painful for Sherlock to go back in his life to find out, why he is emotional contained and what he is afraid of, as he ‘deleted’ those things from his hard drive, buried it deep inside to have more space for other ‘useful’ information. Sherlock’s childhood that changed him from an emotional kid to an almost always rude thinking machine. We learn, that it has something to do with REDBEARD and that it is an alternate story that Sherlock told himself to be able to cope with the truth (which truth?). He needs to find out what it was to find inner peace with himself first. I guess we have not seen the correct Victor Trevor story yet, I assume, he was Sherlock’s first ever love interest and there will be a different story told in a later episode.

To find out more about his life today, he needs to go back there. Therefore Sherlock creates different rolls and characters for a play in his mind palace:

The little girl on the plane represents his subconscious, and his emotions that are still disconnected from his today reality, so he is still incapable to show feelings to others properly (timing). He needs to find access to this resource.

Moriarty he is only a voice in his head, but he is the devil, the virus in his data. He is always pushing him to make decisions, he does not want to make, decisions that separates him from John.

The little girl and Moriarty are like the angel and the devil on his shoulders, like yin and yang.

EURUS is a fictive character for his (evil) logic, emotionless side. He needs EURUS to confront himself with several topics, to put himself to tests, to find out about how the both most important people in his life will react in different situations. Those two people are

Mycroft, his brother that is protecting him since childhood by teaching him that caring is not an advantage and that he should join not getting involved in any friendship or romantic entanglement, because this could hurt him. But Mycroft has also selfish interests, because if Sherlock would be officially out, this could (maybe) ruin his career in the British Government – so I had always the feeling, that he wanted to see his brother happy with John, but might have an interest to keep it as a secret. Mycroft is aware that Sherlock is gay.

John, who Sherlock is in love with, since he met him. He knows about Johns feelings for him at least since the Battersea scene in A Scandal in Belgravia, but as John is always dating women (and marries a woman) to cope with his unrequited love for him (Sherlock seems always to be unavailable for John) Sherlock fears to tell John the truth. He is not sure if John is straight and only his best friend or if he is Bi. Therefore he researched Major James Shoto, because he needs to know, if John is romantically interested in men, too.

He needs to find out about how John could possibly react, when he confesses his love, while he is unsure, he expects John to make the first move as he is much more experienced in romantic entanglement than he is.

We can see that in TFP in the most painful and emotional scene, when Sherlock askes Molly (she is always a stand in for John) to say ‘I love you’. As Molly turns the way around and asked him to tell it first ‘say it, like you mean it’ he comes to the conclusion, that John will never ever say a word, because it is true and he is insecure, too. We see John in tears, when Sherlock finally says ‘I love you’ – he is waiting instantly to hear it from Sherlock. So Sherlock cannot expect John to say anything, as he is too afraid about himself, hiding his bisexuality. 

As Sherlock kept everyone in the dark about his sexual orientation, even John, he needs to be the one who is telling John, how he feels first.

Also in this scene, he comes to the conclusion that he must tell Molly that he is gay, to save her from the pain he is causing her while she is still in love with him unable to move on.

It is not a Game anymore – If it is true, we can stop to play around the subject and tell everyone :-)

Mark Gatiss knows about the pain that LGBT people feel - so I don’t think that he wanted to hurt any feelings by not getting it right.

– Please think about it. If you read TFP as Sherlock’s coming out, than we can expect to see all what we desired later.

To see Sherlock and John as a happy couple, experiencing a proper romantic relationship, there are some steps missing, which we can expect for S5 (hopefully).

But first Sherlock needs to:

heal his inner child  (plane landed safely, TFP)

stabilize his emotions to complete himself (reconnecting with Eurus, which we can see during the violin play in TFP finishing scene)

He needs to tell John

He needs to tell his family (shown in the TFP final scene)

He needs to tell Molly

John has to come out, too (will be difficult for John)

They need to tell their friends

Coming out in public?

 Of course, they are ‘coming out’ ;-))))
