I love Shinomitsu so much and is personally my favorite kny ship ever, how their stories parallel each other so well and the way they are each other’s foil. Shinobu wishing for to grow a little bit taller, to become stronger and Mitsuri always felt insecure about her strength, feeling less feminine due to her body constitution which made her suppress her own strength yet Shinobu was there for her (In the One Winged Butterfly light novel). Their personalities are opposites, Shinobu smiling because she is in pain and anger however Mitsuri smiles and laughs because she is genuinely that joyful and cheerful. Shinobu was forced to grow up so young at the age of 14 but Mitsuri who is older never loss that glee. They are each other’s beauty standards and I think thats beautiful.
