True Calling
⤷ dream x f!reader.
⤷ word count: 3.9k
⤷ requested: yes, by this lovely anon!
— summary: dream meets his favorite singer on an among us livestream.
“Dude, what could go wrong? Just do it.”
“What could go wrong?! Literally so many things, you ass.”
Dream heard Sapnap sigh through the mic right into his headphones, the dim grey of his Discord background doing barely anything to illuminate his features as he stared at his open messages blankly.
“First of all, don’t.. speak to me like that, I am doing you a favour by sitting here and listening to you panic about stupid shit. Second of all, nothing big could go wrong. What, you’re a little awkward in the beginning, maybe, and that’s it.” Dream adjusted his headphones a little bit, Sapnap’s rant flowing into his ears but dissipating somewhere halfway to his brain, because, yes, things could go wrong and he can’t be proven otherwise.
“Did you forget that I’m a public figure? And that my fans are insane? I say one wrong thing and it’ll be memed and haunt me in my dreams. Did you forget that SHE’s a public figure? And that this is live? God…” he retorts back, listening to Sapnap helplessly sigh once again in response. He anxiously switches from his Discord to Twitter, then to YouTube, to Twitch and then back to Discord, frantically clicking around. In reality, he knows Sapnap is right, and it’s anxiety whispering into his ear that he’s gonna somehow fuck up, but maybe it’s simply easier to stay and argue with him into the night instead of actually responding to that message.
The stream is still going. Quackity’s voice speaks over Sapnap’s quiet breathing. “Damn, he’s still not responding. Um, let me try Tubbo, maybe?”
Before he knows it, the opportunity to join the stream is slipping out of his fingers, and Dream isn’t sure if he’s happy about that or not. On one hand, he gets to meet one of his favorite artists whose album he’s played way too many times to count, and on the other, the chances of him embarrassing himself in front of that same artist and a hundred thousand other people are extremely high, and he’s not sure if he likes the odds of that.
“Man, I don’t know. You won’t listen to me, anyway. Don’t join if you don’t want to.” Dream hears the annoyed tinge in Sapnap’s voice, and that’s what pours the last bit of courage into his veins because the best way to do anything in life is to follow Sapnap’s advice after you’ve already irritated him to the point of defeat, and he murmurs a quick “bye” and hangs up before the other can even respond, typing a rapid “Sure, send me the VC link” back to Quackity.
He hears a delighted exhale coming from his Twitch tab just as Quackity forwards him the link. “Okay, nevermind, we’ve got Dream! He’ll join in a second.”
With that, he swiftly closes the Twitch tab and with an encouraging sip of water, he finally joins the Discord voice chat with the rest of the players. Your Discord image sticks out like a sore thumb to him despite being a super basic, Googleable picture of you that he’s probably seen a million times by now, and upon seeing it, reality slaps him right over the face and he realises that, oh shit, he actually joined.
“Hey everyone.” Dream speaks into the mic and a mix of excited voices greets him at the same time as he loads up the game. Your icon is missing the green halo. He stares at it, as if you’ll magically speak up if he stares long and hard enough. That, apparently, works.
Pokimane’s “Dream, hi!” seems to set something off in your brain, and you speak again.
“Oh, Dream?” the green halo appears, and Dream resists the urge to say something stupid or bite his hand or anything of the sort when you say his name. “Aren’t you the guy who listens to my music all the time?” you giggle.
Quackity laughs loudly in his usual fashion, and Dream feels his hands go cold as the Among Us loading page pops up. “Wh-huh?”
“Yeah, you-you listen to my music a lot! Your fans always tag me under that… ‘Dream’s Spotify’ Twitter account, I remember you.” Dream swears his heart is about to jump out of his chest and start bouncing around on the floor because his ribs are way too restrictive for that type of movement, but he tries his best to play it cool and laughs lightheartedly.
“I do! I’m, like, your biggest fan.” he grins, as if you can see him, and you laugh in return.
“Yeah, man, you pay my rent. Thanks.” you say and a couple of people laugh while Dream inputs the code and his character finally pops up, immediately running around like the rest of the group. He runs around your purple character and hears you chuckle as you run around him too, but not for long, because the game starts and everyone mutes themselves. He audibly sighs, because he can afford to, considering he’s not streaming and nobody can hear the amount of courage this whole thing is taking him.
A notification pops up on his screen - the Dream Team group chat seems to be talking. Must’ve already found some way to make fun of me, he thinks to himself as he huffs out a large breath and runs through cafeteria and weapons to do his tasks in navigation. Corpse is hot on his tail the whole time, and not to say he’s an untrustworthy guy, but Dream isn’t really looking forward to getting killed before even speaking to you properly, so he runs around, trying to find somebody to stick with so Corpse doesn’t shove a knife in his back while he’s doing a task.
Thankfully, Karl emerges somewhere from the direction of storage right into communications where Dream was going, too. Just as Dream starts finishing download and Corpse and Karl line up behind him, his screen flashes bright red and white and the bold letters “Dead body reported” pop up. Everyone unmutes themselves and his eyes bore into your character, immediately.
“Alright, the body was in top left of the… uh, upper engine. I need everyone’s positions.” Rae immediately spoke.
“I was in electrical, I-I went through cafeteria to the upper engine with Poki, there was nobody there, we did our tasks, went down to lower engine, then Poki left with Toast, and I went to electrical and the body was reported.” Sykkuno said, and Pokimane confirmed with a hum of agreement.
“Dream?” Rae asked, and he spoke up.
“I never even went that way, I went through weapons to nav, and then to communications, and then the body was found. Corpse can vouch for me because he was following me the entire time and I kinda thought he was gonna kill me. And Karl saw me in communications, us three were all together when you… reported the body.” He rambled, trying to defend himself.
“Yeah, it’s true, he was with me the whole time.” Corpse supported.
“Karl, which way did you get to communications?” Toast asked.
“Uh, through storage.” Karl replied quickly.
“That’s funny, ‘cause I was in security, and I could swear I saw you walk past.” Toast said, and a couple of “ooh”s echo through the call.
“That makes no sense because even if I did go that way, I wouldn’t have time to get to communications and start doing my task with Dream and Corpse if I killed Ethan! And Rae, you-you saw me do my task in storage!” Karl loudly defended himself.
“...that… that’s true, yeah.” she said.
“If you ask me, Toast, you’re being real sus for lying about that.” Karl threw it back at Toast, who protested.
“Listen, I didn’t say you killed anybody, I just said I saw someone run past!” he claimed.
“Bretman and Y/N are being real quiet, though.” Corpse points out, and the green halo around your icon lights up once again.
“Oh shit, I didn’t realise I was muted. Sorry, guys.” you laughed. “Um, I was with… Quackity, in… what’s that shit on the right called?”
“O2.” Quackity quickly jumped in.
“Right, O2. I went to… top left, first, and I did my tasks there, and then to weapons and then to O2, and then the body was reported.”
“You were in top left?” Rae repeated.
“Yeah.”
“And was there anyone with you?”
“Um… no? I was alone, and then I saw Quackity in top right, and then we went to, uh, O2 together.” you said and Corpse sighed loudly.
“That means she could’ve had the time to kill Ethan and run.” Toast points out.
“Hey! I didn’t kill anyone! I don’t even know how this game works…” you whined into the mic and Quackity laughed.
“Yeah, I dunno Y/N, you were dancing real suspiciously around me…” he said, causing you to defend yourself louder.
“Why would I kill anyone?! I don’t even know how to do that, I’m a nice person!”
“I don’t think she did it, guys.” Dream pipes up, tugging at the wire of his headphones absentmindedly.
“Shut up, you simp.” Quackity fires back instantly, making everyone in the call laugh, including Dream.
“Damn right, I’m a Y/N simp. She can do no wrong. I mean, look at that innocent face! She did nothing, I’m-I’m sure.” He argued, making you cover your mouth and giggle.
“Their face is literally the same as everyone’s! We’re all astronauts!” Rae protested, but Dream kept shaking his head.
“No, hers is more innocent.” he said. “Toast, why are you so set on accusing everyone, anyway?”
“Oh, you’re so not attacking Toast right now-”
“Guys, I think we should skip.” Sykkuno pipes up to calm the conversation, and everyone agrees, even though most of them mumble “sus” under their breath as soon as they mute their mics.
Dream’s tiny green astronaut stomps his way over to the left side immediately, changing paths this time and making his way into the Upper Engine, trying to finish his tasks in time and possibly find someone to accompany him so he at least doesn’t have to argue over his alibi. He had four tasks left, two of them in Upper Engine, so after that he was free to roam around wherever his heart desired. Just as he started doing one of them, he watched your purple character step in and run circles around him, earning you a quiet laugh that he didn’t know he uttered until he heard himself do it and silently scolded himself for getting that flustered at something so simple.
The two of you did your tasks together before going down to reactor. Just as Dream started doing one of his tasks, a dead body was reported again and he unmuted himself as Toast immediately started borderline yelling into his headphones.
“Bretman just killed Sykkuno RIGHT in front of me. I literally watched him do it. He killed Sykkuno in COLD BLOOD.” he confidently claimed and Dream, quite uninterested, grabbed his bottle of water and lightly sipped on it, wiping beads of sweat resting right above his eyebrows with his forearm, blindly looking around the darkness, trying to get his eyes to adjust looking away from the computer screen. His eyes searched for the window - it was open, just enough to let a fresh breeze inside, but it never seemed to do that, letting humid air in with open arms like a welcome guest. Florida is fucking hell, he thinks, gulping down some more water.
“No, I didn’t! I seriously did not, he’s the one who killed him and is trying to frame me now. I swear to God, Toast…” Bretman shouted into his worn mic, trying to argue back.
“Yeah, to be honest, Bretman, you were silent the whole time when Ethan died.” Rae reasoned, earning quite a lot of “ooh”s and causing little voted” signs to appear next to Poki, Toast and Karl’s names as Bretman tried his best to fight back.
“I didn’t know I was muted the whole time! You know I’m bad at this! Why would I... you know what, nevermind! Vote me! Vote me! You’ll see when Toast kills you all, I don’t care anymore. I literally saw-”
Dream slumps further into his chair, sure that the foam would have a dent of his body shape imprinted even when he’s long gone from it, and unlocks his phone with a quiet sigh. He opens Discord, and wishes he hadn’t, because Sapnap and George are always on the front lines and ready to make fun of him at any chance possible. He types back a stupid joke, calling them losers, but before he can press send, a Twitter notification pops up on his phone that almost makes his painfully sweaty hands lose grip of the phone.
“this is so boring” your message reads, from your official Twitter account. Dream blinks a few times, and looks up from his phone to observe his murky, empty room, eyes flashing from the window to the ripped chocolate bar wrapper that somehow made its way onto the floor to a cup of coffee from this afternoon. Did the humid air finally get to him? Hallucinations?
He clicks on the notification - it proves to not be a product of his imagination, after all. Three dots dance around on his screen cheerfully, but they suddenly stop. His ears tune in. Bretman is still defending his honor. Something else must’ve interrupted you. His shaky hands barely hit the right letters.
He takes a handful of screenshots amidst his euphoria, and forwards them to the group chat with no caption besides an emoji sticking its tongue out - he wants to tell them to suck his dick, or something along those lines, but your message remains a priority as he rushes back to the Twitter app to reply.
“Right” he manages to write without a typo. “They’re annoying”
Three dots immediately return to his screen like a happy memory, and he almost can’t believe you’re texting back so fast. George would probably humble him by saying it’s because you have nothing better to do, but what George doesn’t know can’t hurt him, Dream supposes, and clicks on your profile instinctively as he adjusts his headphones on one ear. By the time you finish typing your message, the group decided to vote out Bretman, who ended up not being an imposter.
The three dots disappear as quick as they came, and so does the anticipation that bubbled up in Dream’s throat as he sourly leaves to finish the rest of his tasks. The rest of the game stays as boring as it started, save for the giggles and hushed laughter that came from you at every few jokes he made - of which he made quite a lot, in a desperate attempt to make you laugh, at least a little bit. Of course, Quackity was there every step of the way to accidentally mention how Dream sounded a lot more hype and alive during this game than he does ever, but you win some, you lose some, eh?
In the next game you actually decided to set up proximity chat, so of course Dream followed you around everywhere, hot on your tail at all times - what else is he supposed to do, when the chance presented itself, really?
“Are you imposter?” His character obnoxiously ran circles around you as you did your wires task slowly and unsurely since this stream was your first time playing.
“No, but I wouldn’t tell you even if I was, dummy.” You replied, running around his own character briefly before running up to do the rest of your tasks, watching the green astronaut follow you close behind.
“Why not?” Dream questioned, eyes following all your movements since he didn’t have anything better to do considering he finished all his tasks.
“Do you not know how this game works?”
“Yeah, but you’d tell me, right? I wouldn’t… rat you out.” He heard a sigh coming through his headphones in response, and his grin widened just a little, watching your character walk away from him.
“I know you wouldn’t.” you replied. “I’ll tell you if I’m imposter, I guess.”
“You wouldn’t kill me, would you?” Dream spoke into his mic, reaching to fix it and realising the way his hand trembled a little, fully aware he was walking the line between flirty and obnoxious more than usual. He lowered his gaze just to see his keyboard reflect the light of the computer back to him - the sweat from his palms seemed to seep onto the keyboard. He refused to think about the mocking things his best friends would say if they found out how nervous he was just to talk to you.
“No, of course not! I wouldn’t be able to kill you.” You chirped just as a dead body was discovered and the two of you were torn from the conversation.
In the next one, his screen flashed an ominous black and red with the word “Impostor” and your purple character stood proudly next to his green one, and he snickered to himself, adjusting his headphones one more time (the more he did it, the more he was convinced it was one of those anxious habits of his).
Shifting in his chair, he started moving and couldn’t believe his eyes when he realised the two of you managed to lock yourselves in a room with Corpse and Sykkuno, accomplishing a double kill in barely the first two minutes of the game. The two of you vented while Dream muttered curses under his breath, breaking out in a sweat wondering if you’re going to get caught or not as you casually hummed to a random tune while faking tasks, hitting the notes in such an effortless way that it made Dream relax and get even more nervous at the same time. It didn’t take too long before the body was found, and you seemed to adapt to the game very quickly, as Dream just sat back most of the time and watched you stretch out a whole essay on why you and Dream could NOT have been imposters.
“Why would they stick together the whole time? Couldn’t they get at least someone else to vouch for them?” Toast complained.
“Girl, Dream wants some… alone time with Y/N, obviously.” Bretman said, despite being the one most sus of you in the first place, forcing laughter out of the whole lobby, Dream’s sticking out the most as his mood constantly swayed from finding the whole thing funny to being worried sick if you actually find him weird.
“Exactly! And we’re gonna have our alone time if we want to, thank you very much.”
Well, Dream thinks, taking a stressed gulp of water from his bottle, at least we cleared that one up.
“I don’t think that sounded the way you wanted it to, Y/N.” Karl pipes up, making Quackity burst into another fit of loud laughter, and you immediately protested.
“It sounded exactly the way I wanted it to! Now, vote Rae or else.”
When the meeting was over, he ran after you through cafeteria, grin splitting out on his face before he even spoke.
“You’re pretty…” his silence extended as he watched your character stare at his. “...pretty smart.”
You snorted. “Right. You’re pretty…” you extended your silence in return, mocking him. “...too.”
His heart jumps. “You forgot a word there.” he says as you stomp out to storage.
“I said what I said, Dreamy.”
He swears this can’t be healthy for his blood pressure. In the corner of his eye, Discord notifications pop up like crazy. The boys must be watching your stream. His heart swells with both pride and dread, knowing he’s about to be called something along the lines of pretty Dreamy for the next two months.
“How do you know I’m pretty? You’ve never even seen my face.” Dream replies as heat creeps up like a spirit rising from soil, from the back of his neck, seeping into his ears and cheeks somewhat equally. His eyes dart to the window again. Of course it’s the stupid Florida weather that has him burning up, flustered. Maybe he should open another window.
“Is this an invitation to see it?” you say, a teasing tone clinging off your voice and he can practically hear you smiling.
“No, I’m just saying! If you want to see it, though, that… that can be arranged.” he bites his lip as a physical attempt of holding back the smile that breaks out as he waits for your response, chest puffing in both nervousness and odd confidence.
“Can it? I mean, I don’t need to see it, I just know already, you have those… pretty boy vibes. But I wouldn’t…” you chuckle. “...be opposed to seeing it, for sure. Don’t count on me not to leak the pictures, though. I want the clout.”
“What do you MEAN you want the clout, you’re Y/N! You don’t need clout from a Minecraft YouTuber!” He argues back, a small wheeze escaping him mid sentence as you giggle and run around, with him following your every move.
“You keep my fucking lights on, man! Whenever your Spotify Twitter account thingy tweets that you’re listening to my stuff, the streams go up! I need your clout.” you say as you run into admin and snap Toast’s neck and run back out casually, as if nothing happened.
“Yeah, that’s how me listening to your songs on repeat works.” he says and you let out some sort of irritated groan.
“Shut up, smartass.” Just as you say that, somebody seems to find the body and you’re pulled into a meeting, where Rae susses both of you immediately.
“No, because both of you are always together! And someone always spots you walking by the place where the bodies are found! At some point that can’t be a coincidence, right?” she accuses, practically yelling into the mic.
“Of course they’re always together, check- check fuckin’ Twitter! They’re trending on like three different spots already!” Quackity jumps in, loud as always, and the lobby gives off mixed reactions.
“What? We are?” Dream asks, and Quackity confirms with a “yeah, man! Check!” and so he complies, quickly pulling out his phone to check the trending tabs. Sure enough, among the politics and sports, “DREAM Y/N”, “PRETTY BOY” and “DREAM FACE” are crammed, sat at 7th, 14th and 18th place, respectfully. A satisfied grin breaks out on his face. At least they see it, too.
“This has to be the first time Dream has trended for something heterosexual.” Karl points out, earning loud laughter from Quackity and Bretman, less loud on your part.
“Exactly! We’re a power couple! Stay mad!” You shouted, with Dream supporting you in the background, although still shyly adjusting his headphones every few seconds, unable to comprehend that oh, this is actually happening.
Both of you get voted out during the next few minutes, but that really means nothing to Dream - they actually do him quite a favor, because the two of you get to excuse yourselves and he sees those three familiar dots dance on his screen again as he leans back into his chair with a dopey grin, playing with the strings of his sweatpants, waiting for your next and next and next message.
He opens Discord on his computer to type one last message into the groupchat before turning it off for the night:
Dream (03:14): maybe Minecraft wasn’t my calling after all
Dream (03:14): can’t believe I just met my soulmate on Among Us

part one; part two; part three
genre: nsfw
pairings: jean kirschtein x female reader
word count: 2.6k
tags/warnings: penetrative sex, dom jean, fingering, praising kink, slight body worship, dirty talk, sneaky.
synopsis: your recent discovery makes you certain that you won't be able to control yourself around him and neither will he, hence you decide that it was time to make an agreement that was rather spicy.
a.n: hey babies! so i finally decided to turn this into a short series since some of you were intrigued with the idea of having a continuation for the previous part i wrote. i hope you like it, enjoy <3
“How was I supposed to know?!” I yelled as soon as Jean exited our apartment. I had put on a random t-shirt to follow Connie to his room, trying to convince him that I had no idea that I fucked his best friend.
“Y/n he literally told you his name is Jean and he was attending my party. You’re acting as you’ve never seen him before!” he scolded taking off his shirt and throwing it across his room.
“Oh for fuck’s sake Connie. The last time I saw Jean I was 16 and he didn’t look like that. He’s so fucking different now how was I supposed to know. And to be fair, he was studying abroad for I don’t know how many years, how was I supposed to know that he metamorphosed like that.” I motioned my arm out, my other hand resting on my hip.
He groaned, rubbing his temples before he looked back at me. “Look,” he spoke softly. “I don’t want to fight with you over this okay? You’re right, I should’ve told you that he was coming back. He graduated a year ago and was considering coming back to his hometown, here. Let’s just forget it all happened okay? It’s a simple misunderstanding.” I nodded, resting my head on his chest as he embraced me into a tight hug.
“Now go take a shower you reek of sex.” he snickered earning a punch on his arm. He winced rubbing his flesh, a proud smile setting on my face.
***
The week went by smoothly. I told Sasha and Hitch what happened and they both had different reactions. Hitch was gushing over the sex and Sasha on the other hand confessed that she forgot to mention that Jean was coming back to stay here. It’s okay though. We all passed it and I was working my ass off to finally graduate.
Connie was spending his days with Jean, which granted me a lot of peace and tranquility. At least, that’s what I thought.
I hadn’t spoken to Jean ever since we hooked up, figured that Connie already explained the whole situation and moved on.
Three knocks on my door broke my focus, a loud frustrated sigh leaving my lips. “What Connie!”
“Actually,” a voice on the other side of the door caught me off guard. “It’s Kirschtein. Can I come in?” A knot formed in my throat.
“Sure.” he turned the knob, slowly coming in. “Connie knows I’m here by the way.” I nodded, adjusting my seat.
“What’s up?” the tension was awkward. The tension shouldn’t even be present in the first place. But how could I not get aroused when he was wearing a black tank top showing off the tattoos on his sleeves with a pair of sweats. He looked effortlessly attractive.
“- and like I said it will never happen again. Y/n?”
“Huh? Oh yeah, yeah. Never happen again. I’m very sorry but I need to finish this assignment.” He chuckled and nodded leaving me alone with my thoughts. Did I just make him talk to himself because I was too busy checking him out?
I shook my head, assuming that whatever he said wasn’t worth my time. Time went by rather quickly and the assignment was done earlier than I expected. It was already ten pm, and I had promised the girls I was going to meet up with them for some drinks.
I picked my outfit and applied some makeup. Simple and effective. We were going to spend the night at Sasha’s so I didn’t make much effort to look hot.
The place was empty when I left and I assumed that Connie was helping Jean to rent an apartment for himself.
Sasha’s place wasn’t very far from mine. As a matter of fact, it only took me ten minutes to get there. Once I got there, the girls were already ordering pizza and picking out some movies to watch.
“Hey whores.” I greeted them, earning cheers from Hitch and Sasha. “Oh my god, Mikasa I missed you!” I rushed to the dark-haired girl who was sitting on the couch and engulfed her into a tight hug. I haven’t seen Mikasa since I moved with Connie. We used to live together, but after she and Eren got together, he wouldn’t leave her alone. So I figured it would be best if I left and lived with my brother.
“I missed you too! I looked for you everywhere at that party where were you?” she asked taking a sip of her soda. Hitch began coughing dramatically as Sasha giggled next to her. “Oh quit it.” I teased rolling my eyes.
I ended up telling her everything, her face displaying a plethora of expressions. “I mean, Jean did change I can’t argue with that. But didn’t he recognize you?”
I shrugged. “I changed too. Puberty hit me like a truck.”
“Cheers to that.” Hitch raised her cup. We laughed and talked for hours. I missed going out with them like that. Fortunately, college will be over soon and I’ll have some time for myself.
Movies were playing in the background but we paid them no mind. We ate our food and cleaned the living room, not wanting to bother Sasha with the cleaning since she was having Niccolo over tomorrow.
I glanced at the clock that was hanging above the door. I gathered my stuff and tucked them in my bag, drawing all of their eyes on me.
“Already? Come on stay longer!” Sasha whined. I smiled softly at her and shook my head.
“I can’t, I’ll see you guys soon.” I waved at them and walked out of the door.
***
“Connie! I’m ho- what are you still doing here?” I froze at the entrance, my keys still hanging from my index finger, my eyes fixated on him as he only stood in basketball shorts.
“What do you mean what am I still doing here. I moved in here remember?”
Silence. Nothing but intense and awkward silence. Moved in? Since when?
“I told you when I came into your room. Weren’t you listening to me?” I stared at him blankly, not able to explain how caught in thought I was when he came into my room. I was too busy checking him out to care about what he was trying to tell me.
“Why didn’t Connie tell me?” I closed the door and locked it slowly, my legs feeling weak, the idea of living with him and seeing him walking around like that making me weak. And extremely horny.
“He said he’d rather if I told you. You know, break the ice.” he shrugged and walked forward, his chest now a few inches apart from mine. “You changed a lot from what I remember.” he lowly said tucking my hair behind my ear.
“So did you,” I replied, staring at his lips. He licked his bottom lip and held my chin between his fingers, forcing me to maintain eye contact.
I was a sweating mess. I still couldn’t believe that this was Jean, the horse face. What kind of water did he drink, and how did he get so big? Look at those muscles-
A sudden feeling on my lips interrupted my chain of thoughts. I soon realized that he held my bottom lip between his brown ones. “Kiss me back y/n, I know you want to,” he whispered, his breath brushing up my face.
It didn’t take me long to pull him to me, crashing my lips on his. He was intoxicating in ways I couldn’t understand nor explain. I needed him close to me at the moment and I didn’t care why.
“Yo, Jean where did you my video game?!” Connie’s voice boomed from the hallway, forcing us apart. Realization slapped my face when I looked at him and saw his cocky smirk. I just kissed him, even though I promised myself I’d never do anything with him ever again.
“I’ll get it!” he yelled back, the same expression resting on his face, his back facing the hallway. “I’d apologize, but you pulled me back. Anyway, I’ll see around beautiful.” he winked and began walking towards Connie’s room, his back muscles flexing at his movements.
What am I doing with myself?
***
The atmosphere felt nice. I couldn’t sleep so instead I lied down on my bed and watched the stars from my window. I couldn’t stop thinking about what happened hours ago and how I had to sit with them and pretend as nothing happened.
Jean was certainly not the little boy he was years ago. He got more confident and a lot more handsome. He was fucking with me and I thought, why shouldn’t I fuck with him too?
After all, I know for sure he didn’t tell Connie anything. He’s too protective of me and if he knew, well let’s just say Jean would be moving out by tomorrow. He trusts him blindly and I honestly just think he doesn’t want me to hook up with him again because he’s just like him.
He likes to mess around. Not the type to stay in the morning after. But neither was I. I sighed and dragged my legs out of bed, my body following.
“Shit now I gotta pee,” I whined stomping slightly on the wooden floor. I ruffled my hair with my hand and slipped on my slippers. I was wearing Connie’s t-shirt, so it was long enough to hide my thighs.
I walked to the bathroom when suddenly a hand grabbed my arm and yanked me into the guest bedroom. My mouth was quick to be silenced by another hand as I was about to squeal.
My back collided with the wall, my hands pinned on each side of my head.
“Jean let me go.” I struggled to get out of his grasp but he kept grinning at me. “Sure.” He let go of his grasp.
I looked around to notice a towel on his bed. “I was going to take a shower but then I heard your footsteps, couldn’t let you get there before I did.” He walked away, throwing his towel over his shoulder.
“Is that all?” I cocked my eyebrow, crossing my arms. He looked me up and down before saying: “You tell me. Need anything else?”
I looked at him briefly, calculating my next move. “An agreement. Connie can’t know.”
“Fuck yeah.” he dropped his towel and stepped closer to me, holding my face with his hands as he crashed his lips on mine. I kissed him back instantly, my fingers finding their way through his hair.
His tongue slipped in, caressing mine. His hands went down my body to squeeze my ass, pulling me even closer to him. My hands traveled across his bare chest, going over his pecs and then gliding one hand down his abs, while the other sat on his shoulder.
We pulled apart, his arms going under my thighs to pull me up and sit me onto the mattress. He walked to the door, locking it before he looked back at me.
Jean crawled over my body, caging me between his arms. “Divine.” he smiled and sat up, his hands tugging at my top. I helped him take it off and threw it on his chair. I was nude underneath him. It wasn’t the first time, yet he still looked mesmerized.
He licked his lips, his fingers tracing my cunt before dipping into my entrance. I arched my back at the sudden intrusion, trying my best to remain quiet.
“I missed your little cunt.” he chuckled massaging my insides slowly. I gasped, my hand immediately covering my mouth.
He rubbed my bud with his thumb, his pace never changing. It was torturing and slow, but I knew we couldn’t make a lot of noise nor make lots of movements that could awake Connie. We had to go nice and easy.
My legs squirmed, the combination of playing my nipples and watching him touch like he does driving me to the edge. My eyes rolled to the back as he added a third finger, my walls clenching tightly around them as I felt myself orgasm around them. “Good girl.” he praised with a chuckle, removing his fingers from my opening.
“Suck your juices off come on.” he tapped my hand, motioning me to remove it and take his fingers in. I stuck my tongue out, his ling digits finding their way down my throat making me slightly gag. “I didn’t know you were such an obedient girl.” he cooed, as I sucked off my arousal.
Jean sat back up, removing his shorts along with his briefs, his erection slapping on my lower stomach. “As much as I’d love you to suck me,” he paused pumping his cock. “I have to say that I miss being inside you.” And with that, he slid all the way in, his mouth silencing my moans.
He stayed still for a while, his eyes staring into mine intensely, almost as if he was trying to tell me something. I nodded my head, his hips moving at my signal. His thrusts were slow and deep, going over every spot. I wrapped my arms around him, my forehead resting against his, as he breathed heavily.
“I want to fuck you dumb, but he’ll hear your moans.” he taunted rolling his hips, his tip almost hitting my cervix. “So good.” I whimpered, wrapping my legs around him, my heels digging into his lower back.
“Jean…” I was close and my legs were a shaking mess. “That’s right baby, say my name.” he breathed in my ear, slightly speeding up his thrusts. I bit onto his shoulder, my orgasm ripping through my body.
I tightened around him, his strokes getting sloppier. It came to my attention that he wasn’t wearing protection, and I wasn’t about to get adventurous like last time. “Jean… pull out…”
“Beg.” was his only reply to which I complied. “Please, anywhere, just not-“ He harshly pulled out, and instead of jerking himself on my stomach, he reached up to straddle my chest and stroked himself. “Open.”
I stuck my tongue out, his hand now replaced with mine as I jerked him off, ropes of cum shooting down my throat. “Such a good girl.” he chuckled, rubbing his hand over his face.
He got off me and pulled his hair back using both hands, his naked body walking around the bed to grab some tissues. He cleaned off my arousal and handed me some to clean the corners of my lips.
“If only you could see how messed up you look,” he smirked and threw me my t-shirt before grabbing his towel and sliding on his shorts.
I put on my top and got off his bed. I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror and internally yelled at myself. I looked like a mess. My hair was tangled and my skin was all sweaty. Guess I have to take a shower too.
I looked over at Jean to see him staring at me with an amused look on his face. “What?” I cocked my eyebrow. He shrugged and smiled at me. “Connie and I are going out to get some lunch tomorrow. What’d you say?” he requested.
“I mean yeah sure. But Jean he can-“
“Can’t know alright.” he rolled his eyes. We stared at each other for a minute before I decided to leave his room.
As I made my way past him, his hand flew to cup my swollen cunt. “This belongs to me.”

Hey! I really liked that atsumu x reader fic where reader's Kita's sister. Could we get a similar fic but instead it's Kuroo dating kenma's equally as socially awkward sister/team manager?
Dating your Brothers teammate PT 2 (Kuroo)
Part One Part Two Part Three
Word count: 1.8K
Genre: angst, fluff
You were a first year in Nekoma high school
You kept to yourself, since you found it hard to make friends
You spent your time in your classes, the library or joining your old brother’s (kenma) practices, although when you did attend you didn’t socialize with all your brother teammates you either sat with a book on in your hand or (if you were lucky) played on Kenma’s nintendo swtich.
When Kuroo first saw you, he thought you were the prettiest girl that he ever laid his eyes on. He was speechless, to say the least. Kenma introduced him and you first as when you started in your first year, since he knew that you two should at least be acquainted with each other as you were all going to be walking to school together.
You found Kuroo very annoying (and that was an understatement) his debonair smirk, his wild wild bedhead and all of his continuous chemistry puns were things you found attractive annoying about him.
Sometimes when you attend practice, you could tell that Kuroo was trying extra hard in an attempt to ‘show off’ to you, but you took no notice since you knew what type of guy Kuroo was (well you thought). Kuroo was a heavy flirt (well everyone he laid eyes on) he also was a giant dick. To you, he was a your average stereotypical teenage boy.
One day, Kenma fell ill with a cold so it just left you alone to walk to school. However, when you left your house, you see the last person you want to see.
“Kenma’s not coming today” you whisper softly, but loud enough for him to hear.
“Yeah I know” he smiled
“So then why are you here?” you ask
“Well I’ll have you know Y/N, I’m here to see you.” he said as you start walking
On your route to school, you don’t say much just letting Kuroo talk about things or asking you questions to which you just nodded or shook your head in reply. As much as you’d like too, you didn’t know how to properly talk to someone like Kuroo, knowing the types of conversations he’s used to having with people, especially other girls.
Reaching the gates of Nekoma, before you could step inside Kuroo pulls you to side and puts his hands on your shoulders “Y/N” he says,
“Yes Kuroo?” you look up at him
“I just want to say I like you..” he says waiting for a response from you
“I-I ...umm” You didn’t really know what to say, although you did find him annoying beyond relief there were some redeeming qualities about Kuroo that you could think of. But would two even work properly?
From your lack of response Kuroo continued, “I’m sure you don’t trust me right now, but Y/N don’t worry I’ll make sure I’ll prove to you that I’m a good guy for you.”
You couldn’t do anything but nod, since you didn’t really know what to say to that. Just then, the bell rings and you were still frozen in place, only snapping out of your trance when you hear Kuroo shout from afar “Don’t worry Y/N im going to do my best to woo you!”
Over the next month, Kuroo is doing his extra best to get you to fall in love with him doing things like: walking you to your lessons, carrying your books for you, bringing you lunch and spending everyday complimenting you to your face and to his friends.
His actions made you swoon, you did feel more comfortable around him, although you haven't confessed your feelings yet, you were planning on to at the date that you reluctantly accepted to go on. You were going to have dinner first at this nice restaurant that you showed interest in ages ago and you were planning to watch a sequel to *insert favourite movie here* since he knew that you really liked the first one.
Before leaving out to the date you looked in the mirror giving yourself a once over. ‘Wow I look hot’ you thought smiling, you were kind of excited to see Kuroo and hear what he had to say about how you looked today. When you were leaving you were startled by Kenma who said
“Where are you going Y/N?” he asked with his eyes focused on his game
“Oh, to the library” you lied your cheeks heating up.
“Sure, you are...” he said
“Bye Kenma” you say putting your hand on the door knob
“Oh Y/N” he calls
“Mhm”
“You look nice today” making you smile wide giving your brother a ‘Thank you’ before finally leaving.
On the way to the restaurant, you had a pep in your step, you felt the happiest you’ve ever been in a while. You stood outside the restaurant and took a few deep breaths to calm the sudden surge of nerves that washed over you. You counted to 10 and walked in the resturaunt freezing at what you saw, there was Kuroo looking as handsome as ever but next to him was a beautiful girl who was tall and had long hair, pretty eyes and a great body who also reminded you of someone you knew (but you just couldn’t put your finger on it.)
She exclaimed “Tetsu!” and pulling into a hug, her boobs pushing against his chest making you cringe. You didn’t know what to do, you couldn’t compete with this European-looking supermodel, especially she already looks really friendly with ‘Tetsu.’
You storm out the restaurant a bit too aggressively, causing attention to yourself making Kuroo look at over to you, cursing himself for knowing how the situation looks to you. He chases after you, but sadly you were already gone.
When you got home, you rushed upstairs to your room with tears in your eyes. You knew this was stupid in the first place ‘Trusting a guy like Kuroo Testurou, how stupid can you be.’
Kenma came into your room, never asking or caring to know what happened as he knew that once you were ready to tell him you would. You and Kenma have always been close, as you’re both as quiet as each other you never felt the need to be surrounded by a bunch of people since both of you were just what each of you needed.
You managed to forget the awfulness of your ‘date’ getting distracted by trying to win in a game of Murder Mystery on roblox and also having fun trolling 6 year olds with your brother. The night was basically ended and before you dozed off to sleep and Kenma went to his own bedroom he said “At least talk to him Y/N” leaving your room not waiting for a response.
As you slept, you thought about what Kenma said ‘what more is their to say to Kuroo?’ You did think about all the possibilites of what could’ve really happened with Kuroo and that girl. Maybe they’re just friends? You didn’t want to think about the possibility of you being wrong. You were never wrong. So you just slept with the assumption of Kuroo being who you thought he was in the first place. A womanizing dick.
As lonely it was, you didn’t tag along with Kenma to the gym and you made sure to wake up earlier so you didn’t have to walk to school with your brother and your boyfriend his best friend.
Kuroo really wanted to talk to you again but you were heavy on the ignoring him. He even asked Kenma for help, but even though your brother was definitely always going to be on your side no matter what, he didn’t want to be in between his bestfriend and his little sister.
When you were walking home from school one day, you were stopped by the pretty girl that was with Kuroo on your ‘date.’ “Hi, my name is Alisa Haiba” she said smiling
‘Haiba’ you thought ‘Where do I know that surname?’ until you realised, “Oh your L-”
“Lev’s sister, that knucklehead is my brother” she laughed
“So what do you need me for?” you ask
“Me and Kuroo are just friends, I know you probably won’t believe me but me and him are NOT dating or anything romantic, he’s as much as a little brother too me then Lev is” she said
“Oh ok, thanks” you didn’t have any more to say and with this newfound information, you did feel more inclined to give Kuroo a chance, and that is if he even wanted one after all the ignoring and avoiding you’ve been doing. Now you feel stupid.
You thought back to all your times with Kuroo, making you smile. You knew what you had to do, you couldn’t shy away from this anymore, you thought about the scenario of him completely rejecting you and to be honest you were content with that as if ‘you don’t ask you don’t get’ or whatever the saying is. Since it was Friday, you knew that Kuroo would be at Kenmas playing smash bros on their switches (and that’s when you would usually spend extra time at the library to avoid him.)
So, you rushed to your house, dramatically opening the door exasperated. “Kuroo!” you shout, not even looking to see if he was there, to your horror there was the whole team over tonight who were quite humored by your shout.
You went red and then shyly whispered “May I speak to Kuroo please?” looking up at him “that’s if you wanted”
“Umm...sure” he said getting up to follow you into your room.
Kenma gave you a reassuring smile that read ‘Everything's going to be ok.’ You led Kuroo to your bedroom and sat on your bed fidgeting.
“I’m sorry”
“I’m sorry”
You both say at the same time, making each other laugh he waits for you to speak, “Kuroo, I’m sorry for misreading the situation and ignoring you and making you out to be a complete dick, I know I’m probably a bit too late but I’d love to ask you on a proper date... one that I won’t run away on this time”
“Y/N, it’s fine. I’m sorry for not actually explaining the situation as I know what it looked like. And yes, I will definitely take you up on that date... that’s if you’ll have a ‘dick’ like me” he jokes
You playfully shove his arm, making you both laugh. You spend the rest of the night with Kuroo in your room catching up on all the things you’ve both missed out on in the time when you were ignoring him.
The date you went on was better than you imagined, Kuroo was definitely a great guy (making you feel even more stupid for assuming differently in the first place.) You developed an amazing relationship with Kuroo, which lead you to eventually become mrs Y/N Kuroo and having Kenma and Kuroo be able to officially call themselves ‘real brothers’
AN: I really actually enjoyed this one, so I hope you do too. <3

Distractions (Natasha Romanoff x reader)
Summary: You had a job to do but the person in your way was proving to be a bigger distraction than you initially thought. What you didn’t know is that you her you’re just as distracting.
Pairing: Natasha x reader, unrequited Steve x reader
MCU tag list: @geocookie21
Everything tag list: @greenrevolutionary
Your footsteps were muffled on the carpeted ground as you walked through the hallway of the opulent building. You always felt out of place in places like this, that everyone thought that they were better than you because their parents were rich or because they were able to crush their workers successfully in the pursuit of profit. Still, you weren’t about to turn down a free invitation to one of the most desirable charity balls (that term made you laugh) of the year. After all, you like champagne and the food was very good. As you continued your exploration and hand shot out and grabbed your arm, dragging you into a nearby room. You were pushed up against the door and as you looked up you sighed.
“Captain,” you said, “Pleasure seeing you here.”
“L/n,” said Steve, “I wish I could say the same to you.”
You pouted as you plucked a piece of lint off of his suit jacket. Steve tightened his grip on your arm as a warning and you held up your hands.
“I meant no harm.” You said
“Then why are you here?”
“Same reason you are,” you gave him a bright smile, “To enjoy the atmosphere and judge people who have too much money and not enough common sense.”
“Some of those people are my friends.”
“Really? I don’t know what that says about you Mr Rodgers.”
To his credit Steve didn’t rise to the bait. Instead he gave you a curious look as you inspected the room behind him. It was a bit too gaudily decorated for your tastes.
“So is that really why you’re here, to enjoy a party?” he asked incuriously
Is that why you’re here and not to protect someone?”
The look on Steve’s face said it all and you couldn’t help but laugh.
“So who is it?” you asked, “Oh can I guess! Is it…”
You trailed off as Steve gave you a disappointed look. You always found it amusing how he would try and save you and bring you round to his side. You had no intention of ever joining SHIELD and you grinned up at him.
“Doctor Peters.” You said at last
“Look,” said Steve finally stepping away, “I’m glad you’re out of your line of work but you need to stay out of mine. Enjoy the party.”
Steve pushed passed you and just before he left the room you called out,
“Left? Oh Steve, I never said anything about leaving.”
*
Avengers always worked in pairs which made your job harder. You stayed on the outskirts of the crowd as you tried to see who was paired with Steve. You knew immediately that it wasn’t Stark, you would’ve heard him as soon as you entered the building. The same went for Thor so that narrowed it down to three options.
You rather liked Doctor Banner but you couldn’t imagine him in a place like this. The last time you met you had a rather interesting conversation about nuclear physics and its place in t society which almost cost you your last job. So that just left one of two options and you were hoping for-
“You’re late.”
Before you had a chance to reply you were suddenly pulled into the throng of people. You grinned at Natasha who currently had you in her arms and gave you a blank look although you knew her better than that. You could see the hint of amusement in her eyes as she pulled you into a dance.
“Agent Romanoff,” you said, “Always a pleasure.”
“I’m sure it is.”
“I met the dear Captain earlier.”
“Oh?”
“Thought I had left this life,” you said, “That I was just another innocent partygoer.”
“And aren’t you.”
“Oh Nat,” you leant closer and smiled, “When have I ever been innocent?”
To Natasha’s credit she didn’t rise to your teasing either but you did feel her grip tighten of your waist. You hated how comforting it was being in her embrace. How you never wanted to leave it and how you were about to forget about who the two of you were for just a night and how you wanted those nights to last forever.
“He’s watching us.”
And just like that the spell was broken. Natasha spun you around and you saw Steve staring at the two of you.
“I think he likes you.”
You could hear the bitterness in Natasha’s voice as you said,
“He’s barking up the wrong tree there. He’s not my type.”
“He’s Captain America. He’s a lot people’s type.”
“Well mine tend to be more ex-KGB, now working for SHIELD assassins.”
For once it seemed that you had gotten the upper hand with Natasha. She tensed in your arms and you seized the opportunity to take control. You shifted positions so your arms were now wrapped around her waist as you pulled her into a low dip. She was forced to wrap her arms around your neck to steady herself. For a moment neither of you spoke, too wrapped up in each other’s eyes.
“Would you stay,” said Natasha quietly, “If I asked you to? Would you stay with me?”
“You wouldn’t want me to.”
“Why not?”
“Because I excite you,” you said leaning closer, “I provide a challenge that would disappear if I were on your side.”
Your noses brushed against each other and your eyes flicked down to her lips. It wasn’t the first time you had found yourself in this position and you doubted it would be the last. You felt one of Natasha’s hands cup your face and you resisted the urge to lean into her touch.
“Nat, I-“
A shout interrupted you and you both looked up in surprise. The sudden shock caused you to let go of Natasha and she fell to the floor. You winced at the impact and she glared up at you. You however had more important things to deal with.
“Oh that bastard,” you hissed as you saw the collapsed body of Doctor Peters, “He killed him before I could.”
You saw a figure slipping out of the room and you tried to follow him. However, a firm hand grasped itself onto your wrist.
“Not going to help me up?” asked Natasha
“Darling,” you said, “You only had to ask.”
You swiftly pulled Natasha to her feet. Your hand lingered against hers for a second before you reluctantly let go. This was your life and however much you wanted to be with her you knew it wouldn’t work. She gave you one last smile, knowing what you were thinking without you saying a word, before you nodded at her and disappeared. Natasha always knew how to find you and you could guarantee that by the end of the week she’d have found you again.
It was the game of cat and mouse that neither of you were wanting to end anytime soon.

♡︎☠︎︎♡︎☠︎︎♡︎☠︎︎♡︎☠︎︎♡︎☠︎︎♡︎☠︎︎♡︎☠︎︎♡︎☠︎︎♡︎☠︎︎♡︎☠︎︎♡︎☠︎︎♡︎☠︎︎♡︎☠︎︎
“Master what is the meaning of this.” Shigaraki looked at the television screen as he scratched his neck. “I took her quirk and made it a thousand times better.” He said simply. “Tomura shigaraki where should I place her?” Kurogiri asked. “Anywhere. I don’t care. I just don’t understand why you brought a stupid hero here.” He said annoyed.
“Now now—“ “Shut up and put her somewhere out of my sight!” Tomura demanded and Kurogiri sighed and carried your body to the spare room by shigaraki’s private quarters. You looked dead, you were exhausted, traumatized, in shock.
You were frozen. Your eyes stayed open, unblinking as you stared at the ceiling. It looked as if you were dead. But your body is warm and you were breathing, you’re alive and you’ll recover quick. Thanks to the quirk All for One fixed for you.
Dabi smirked at your ruined form. Spinner hid his rosy cheeks, you were a cute one. Toga was excited to have another girl in the league she talked with Twice about all the fun things you two could do together. Whether it be painting your nails, doing your hair, torturing someone, or making them bleed. She was excited.
“What’s so good about her quirk that you needed it.” Shigaraki asked. “It’s come to my attention that the league has been missing an important puzzle piece.” He started off. “Yeah? What’s that?” The light blue haired man asked. He was beyond ticked off to have a hero here. “She’s not a hero. She was training under UA’s school nurse. But she fell into the hero course for recovery and first aid training.” He said and everyone stayed silent and patiently listened to the brain behind the league.
“Her quirk is pyrokinetic regeneration. She manipulates fire with the energy of the person who needs healing and together she heals with so called fire. Her quirk was small, only a few cuts a bruises here and there could she heal. But I added cell regeneration so she can even fix up deep wounds that could need surgery in a matter of days instead of months.”
“Sounds amazing! No she could use her fire against us!” Twice said and Toga nodded. “She won’t. Her fire doesn’t burn unless you’re hurt.” Kurogiri returned. “But she’s still a hero brat so wouldn’t she try to resist?” Dabi asked. “I don’t know but let me try and see!” Toga giggled and pulled out a knife she easily slit her wrist and skipped her way to your new room.
Out of curiosity the other members followed suit. Shigaraki first, he wanted to see if you were truly useful if not then he’d disintegrate you right here and now. “Hi hi new friend! My name is Toga!” The psychotic girl giggle as her blood dripped all over the floor. You looked up slowly from your spot on the bed. “H-hi...T-toga..” your voice was low. “Kurogiri Can you bring her some water?” Toga asked and he left and came back in the blink of an eye.
Your hands were shaking for the cup of water but Toga held it back, away from you. “If you want the water then heal my wrist first.” She said sweetly with a giggle. “Heal your wrist?” You whispered and she nodded. “O-okay..” you stuttered and you slowly removed the blanket from your lap. You stood up with wobbly legs to go to the girl but you fell. The chain on your ankle pulled you back. You winced and looked at her, pleading for her to come to you. She asked if you were okay and when you responded she shoved her bloody arm to your face. “Take a deep breath. This may sting...” you started and a small green flame came upon your hand. You rubbed the flame over both of your hands like you were putting on lotion, finally when the flames covered both hands you pressed hard on her wrist. She winced, “ow ow ow.” She whimpered, you removed your hands and everyone stared at the flame around her whole wrist. “Give it thirty seconds....or not...” you said as you stared wide eyed at her already healed cut. It was barley a touch and it’s gone now. “Wow. No scar!” She giggled and turned to show the guys. “Wow stab me next, please don’t or else I’ll bite ya!” Twice said and you reached for the water. “Interesting.” Shigaraki mumbled with a small squint. Kurogiri looked over and hoped he wouldn’t do anything bad to you.
“Shows over. She needs her rest.” Kurogiri said and everyone left one by one. Toga gave her a hug and wished for you both to be the best of friends and she skipped away. “Tomura Shigaraki. What are you thinking?” Kurogiri asked as Shigaraki began to walk into your room. “Nothing that concerns you.” He spat and slammed the door. Kurogiri sighed but returned to the bar nonetheless.
“Do you know who I am?” Shigaraki asked, “Yes you’re the leader of the league of villains, You’re name is Tomura Shigaraki and your quirk is decay—“ “that’s enough!” He raised his voice and looked at you with wide eyes.
You looked so sad and you glanced down at your cup. “Mr. shigaraki I know I don’t usually talk this much. I’ve always been the quiet type. I think whoever kidnapped me gave me a huge sense of knowledge. I know the league is bad but I don’t care about the heroes anymore and I don’t know why. I know everything about you guys, your true identity, your quirks, your past. And when I see you I—“ you quickly stopped yourself.
Shigaraki raised a brow. “You what?” He asked curiously. “N-nothing. Just forget it.” You answered and he growled. “Answer me now before I kill you.” He said and your legs subconsciously clenched together. You stayed quiet and your chest rose and fell a little more quickly. Why was this feeling in your chest when this killer, this man child looked at you? What exactly did the man he calls master do to you?
Before you knew it he gripped your chin and lifted it harshly so you could look at his wrinkly red eyes. Even though he looks like a bum he smelled nice and clean. A hand was covering his face and you slowly lifted your hand to touch it and his other hand grabbed your wrist. “What the fuck are you doing? Do you have a death wish you fucking idiot?” He growled and you gulped. “C-can i see your face?” You asked and he tilted his head confused.
“No. Answer my question-“ before you both knew it, as if your body had a mind of its own you tackled shigaraki down and you snatched the hand off his face. His hand quickly wrapped around your neck and arm and you pressed your lips against his. He halted his finger from pressing against your neck. He was beyond confused.
“If only tomura finished listening to what i had to say.” All for one chuckled loudly. You both were able to faintly hear the television from down the hall. “He would know that I managed to change y/N’s desires and whole way of thinking. She’s now with the league of Villains and she’s in love with its leader, Tomura Shigaraki. Consider it a present and motivation for the future of the league.” You both heard and you pulled away from him. “I’m sorry. I should have asked.” You said lowly. He stood there stunned and silent.
He slowly sat up and looked at your figure. “So you were brainwashed like my Nomu.” He hummed and took a few steps back. He noticed how you crawled closer to him but the chain was keeping you away.
“Who do you love?”
“You.”
“Who do you belong to?”
“You.”
“Who’s your master?”
“Tomura Shigaraki.”
You said and he smirked. He was gonna have fun with you. “At least master was kind enough to give me a beauty.” He said as he held on to the chains. “Don’t freak out.” He warned and you nodded. He disintegrated the chain around your ankle and he pulled you by the arm. You were wearing an ugly hospital gown and you were barefoot. You couldn’t help but shiver. He went next door to his room and he shoved you in and slammed the door. You nearly tripped over the mess and you turned to look at shiggy. “Why are you just standing there?” He asked, “You haven’t given me orders.” You deadpanned. “You can’t think for yourself?” He questioned. “No i can but I Don’t want to upset you.” You replied.
“Fine then clean this shit up.” He referred to his very very messy room. You nodded and began to lift up a piece of trash but he pulled you away. “Change first.” He said and handed you a black hoodie. “Do you have a bathroom?” You asked. “No change here.” He said and you nodded. You turned so your back was facing him and carefully began to take off the gown, leaving you completely bare and Shigaraki couldn’t help but look.
Your skin was so beautiful and looked so soft. He saw as you carefully put on his hoodie and it completely engulfed you. It reached to your mid thigh. You slowly turned to look at him with rosy cheeks. The hoodie smelled just like him. “Tomura—“ “It’s master to you.” He Interrupted and you nodded, subconsciously squeezing your thighs together once more. “Sorry...m-master.” You said and played with the hem of his hoodie.
“Master..can I have some underwear too...? I feel weird, when I’m bare underneath..” you asked. “No, continue cleaning my room.” He answered coldly and sat on his gaming chair. He turned on his console and began playing whatever game he had.
You sighed and you couldn’t help but admire his gorgeous yet scarred face and his beautiful long fingers. In an instant he can kill you, but if you’re good..then he might even reward you. If you were to die, I’d rather be in the hands of your master than anyone else.
You quickly began you pick up the instant ramen bowls and bags of chips. You separated recycling and trash. You even managed to pick up all his dirty clothes and put it in the hamper in less than an hour. Tomura was stunned, one minute he can barley walk in, the next It’s almost spotless. He saw you from the corner of his eye, you were folding his clothes that practically had the same color scheme.
“Can i go through your drawers to put your clothes away..?” You finally spoke up. “Yeah it’s whatever. I don’t care.” He mumbled and returned to the screen. “Ugh stupid game!” He huffed and began pressing the controller more furiously. You chuckled and thought that it was so cute and adorable when he was frustrated.
You went to his California king sized bed and began to fix the sheets and make his bed. Since it was so huge, you had to climb on to properly fix it. You were completely in your own world when Shigaraki turned and saw your wet cunt on display in all it’s glory. Ever since he saw you he couldn’t help but feel that urge to take you. His resistance was getting to him and now he wanted to give in to his urges even more. He was too distracted that he lost the fucking game and he growled and disintegrated the controller. That was his own form of rage quitting.
You heard his sound of frustration so when you turned you expected him to be in the same chair uttering bullshit, but you were shocked when you felt your hips being pulled back. Your cunt was touching his pants, but you can feel his bulge. “Um..master..I—“
“Shut up.” He said and reached for your neck. He pulled you back to him and wrapped his other arm around your waist, hovering your aching clit. “This is whats gonna happen.” He started off and you nodded. “I’m going to fuck you. And you’re going to like it. Okay?”
“I understand.” You said softly, you felt his hands slowly lift up the hoodie just a bit to get a better view of your ass. You couldn’t help but feel slightly embarrassed. “I know I’m probably not your dream girl but I promise to be a good girl, master..” your voice shook. He tilted his head, were you getting insecure?
“No pet, you’re perfect to me.” He assured and you could hear his belt jingle as he took it off. “You seem pretty wet already, pet. Since how long have you been like this?” He asked as he got out of his jeans. He slowly open your cheeks to reveal your little pussy clenching around nothing, how cute. “Since I saw you..” you mumbled. He smirked and leaned down. He immediately began to eat out your cunt causing you to gasp in shock and grip the sheets. Your chest layed roughly against the bed as your ass stood proud in the air for the leader of the league of villains to enjoy.
“Fuck—“ you moaned and you felt a slap on your ass. You slightly jumped released a small yelp. “Watch your language.” He growled from your pussy. “Yes master.” You whimpered and he slowly began to rub his thumb on your other hole. Your small moans filled the room and he easily slipped his middle finger in you. You squeezed around him so deliciously, he couldn’t help but wished his cock was inside.
This has never happened to him before, this feeling in his chest. Someone that loves him and will obey his every command. You’re so beautiful as well, and your sounds. Your moans and whimpers, in all honesty he jut wanted to get himself off. But after hearing you and seeing you. He wants to make sure you have pleasure as well.
He continued pumping his finger in and out of your slick walls and your voice started getting slightly higher. “Master...I—I’m gonna cum...”you panted and your toes began to curl. “It’s okay, cum for me, pet. You’ve been a good girl.” He said softly and he felt you clench around his finger. When you came he slowly removed his finger and examined it. You must be new to is if you could get off with just one of his long fingers.
You layed on the bed a bit tired, not paying attention to your master who had tasted your cum on his finger. It was delicious and he wanted another taste. When you felt a lick on your cunt again you immediately shivered and clenched your thighs. “Hold still I just wanna taste some cum.” Shigaraki huffed and he pulled your thighs apart. You were pretty sensitive but you obeyed nonetheless.
You moans began to fill the room once more and before you could finish and cum again he pulled away. You automatically whimpered and turned to give your master puppy dog eyes. “I would let you cum again, but my cock is so fucking hard I don’t think I can wait another minute.” he said and began to pull down his boxers.
Before you could get back in position, which freaking hurt, he flipped you over on your back and you made a small oof noise. You looked up to See shigaraki focused on his cock, he was rubbing himself up and down your slit to use your cum as lube. “Alright I’m going in.” He announced and slowly pushed his rather large member inside your tint cunt. You immediately yelped and held on to his biceps. “M-master wait—it hurts..” you pleaded and Tomura finally looked up at your face.
He loves inflicting pain, he loves watching people’s painful expressions when they’re hurt or when they’re gonna die. Chisaki’s face was so amusing. But when he saw yours, his heart shattered and he didn’t want to hurt you at all. You’ve been nothing but good to him, he doesn’t want to hurt his little toy. “I’m sorry.” He apologized, “it’s okay..” you sniffled. After a minute of him being patient you gave him a nod and he continued to slowly bottom out.
You both released a moan when he was all the way in. You both have never felt anything like this before. “Can I start moving?” Shigaraki asked you as he brushed way the hair from your face. You nodded and he pulled almost all the way out and he slammed back in. Your little gasps and moans came back which made shigaraki feel at ease. You can clearly hear your slick with every thrust and it was music to his ears.
“I’ve been neglecting these.” He grunted and lifted his hoodie over your chest. Finally he was able to see your beautiful soft breasts bouncing with each thrust. “Fuck you’re so beautiful.” He moaned and immediately lowered his mouth to one of your nipples. You squealed and your back arched and he pushed you down. “Master...” you moaned softly. His tongue swirled around your hardened bud and your fingers tangled in his light blue hair. Two of his fingers pinched your other nipple and he lightly bit the nipple in his mouth.
“I think I-I’m close—“ you gasped and he removed his mouth. His thrusts decreased in speed but they became harder. He had a stupid smirk on his face and your eyes widened when he wrapped his hand around your throat. “Hold it until I say so.” He demanded and you muttered a weak yes. He felt how your gummy walls squeezed against his large dick, he was getting close too. “Fuck Fuck Fuck.” He groaned with his head tilted back and your mouth watered at the sight. Why is he so fucking handsome?
He could feel himself getting closer to his climax so he rubbed his thumb on you clit while increasing his pace once more, causing you to be even louder than before. Everyone in the bar could hear and a certain fire villian grumbled in annoyance. “Master I can’t hold it anymore!” You screamed. “Then cum my stupid little pet. Cum all over my cock like a good girl.” He grunted and bit his lip at the sight of your sweaty body. Your bouncing breasts, crazy hair, your adorable ahego face, your twitching legs and finally your grip on his biceps. You were so prefect and so good to him and only him.
When you came you felt his cum shoot inside you as well causing you to gasp at the delicious feeling. Tomura rested his head on your shoulder and tried catching his breath. You couldn’t help but smile and blush at the closeness. You slowly wrapped your arms around him and you gave his shoulder a kiss causing him to freeze. “I love you master, thank you for making me feel good.” You said softly. He chuckled and pulled you closer, “I love you too.”
I wanna write a part 2 of Shiggy finding out his little toy is being used by a certain fire boy 👀

The drive to Zed’s place is quiet leaving you to be suffocated by your thoughts. At some point, Zed reached over to grab hold of your hand and now you’re clinging onto it like a lifeline. How is it possible to exist when your heart has decided to stop beating? It’s as if you feel nothing but pain anymore. Pain and anger towards Hardin for staying when he didn’t want to. For going behind your back and confirming all your insecurities. Molly had been right that day; he wasn’t your Hardin anymore, he was Tessa’s. And it broke you.
“Drink some water.” You’re sitting in Zed’s apartment with no idea how you got from the car and inside. You accept the glass of water but make no effort to drink it.
“Do you want to talk about it?” he asks earning nothing but silence from you. Somewhere in your brain you register his concern but right now you can’t focus on anything other than your breathing. Grief has paralysed you in the worst way possible and you hate it. You hate how weak you’ve turned over a silly boy.
“Say something so I know you’re still there,” Zed says trying to lighten the mood.
“Tessa,” you rasp hoping it’ll explain your behaviour, hoping that he’ll put the pieces together and understand what’s happened. Understand why you’ve fallen apart.
“Please tell me he didn’t.” You nod your head and Zed stops talking because he knows the kind of pain you’re in and he knows you need to process this slowly. So you sit there for a long time before you finally look over at Zed. He’s there and he’s ready to listen but you don’t want to talk. You want to do something that will help absolutely nothing and you’ll cry about tomorrow but you’re not thinking clearly as you crawl over to sit on his lap.
“Make me forget him.” It’s cruel really because you know he’s had a crush on you since you started college but the world is cruel and you just don’t have it in you to think about feelings that aren’t your own right now.
“Y/N, I can’t.” It’s meant as a rejection but he doesn’t mean it. You can tell that he wants this to be true and real. He wants you to want him the way he’s wanted you for such a long time but now you’re this broken puzzle that might be too hard to solve.
“Please.” The word comes out as a whimper and if you’d been more coherent you’d probably be mortified by how pathetic you’re acting right now. But you’re not and Zed is fighting a losing battle.
“I want this to be real, Y/N. I want to make you feel safe, but not like this. I don’t want to be second best to him.” He’s speaking faster than normal trying to get his point across before this goes too far. You’re kissing his neck and ignoring every word he’s saying. As you grind your hips, you feel him move beneath you.
“Hardin will kill me for this,” he says and the name brings you back to Zed’s apartment. You scramble off of him instead sitting as far away as the sofa lets you.
“I’m sorry,” you say not ready to realise how close you came to ruining your friendship with Zed.
“I get it. I’m a safe option.” His eyes refuse to meet yours but you both know it’s the truth. Through everything Zed has been a safe habor that you’ve turned to over and over whenever you and Hardin argued. It’s not been fair on Zed but you haven’t known how to stop searching for him. He’s your best friend but he’ll never be more. It hurts to know that you can’t give him what he wants.
“You’re not an option, Zed. You’re my best friend. You’re the person I need.”
“But not the person you want,” he interrupts. There are no words that could help him right now so you reach over and take his hand in yours the way he did in the car. It’s support and love even if it’s not the love he want. In a perfect world, you’d want Zed. The two of you would get married after college and have kids at 30 when you’ve both had time to live your own lives. But it’s not a perfect world and you don’t want Zed like that. So instead the two of you sit together holding hands as your hearts are breaking fast and slow all at the same time.
It takes you two weeks before you’re ready to return to campus. Zed lets you crash at his place because first and foremost you’re best friends and this is what best friends do for each other. And you both know that Hardin will show up at your apartment to see you.
“Are you sure you’re ready?” he asks as you’re turning a corner.
“I don’t know. I’m scared I’ll meet him but I also want to see him. Does that make sense?” Your faithful companion just nods knowingly as he always does. There’s an unspoken understanding between the two of you and it’s been the only thing keeping you sane.
“I’ll meet you after first period, okay? Wait for me.” He kisses your forehead softly before leaving for his morning classes. As he turns around, his face connects with Hardin’s fist.
“What the hell is this?” he yells looking over at you. There’s an anger in his eyes that you’ve never seen before. He looks good, even had the time to add a tattoo to his sleeve. It pisses you off that she was probably holding his hand while he got it.
“Walk away, Hardin.” You’re so mad you’re shaking but you just don’t have it in you to have a screaming match with Hardin right now. Instead you turn your focus to Zed who’s slowly getting back on his feet.
“Are you okay?” Zed nods and wipes a little blood from his nose before coming over to stand next to you - loyal to the bitter end.
“Are you seriously with him now? Didn’t take you long to replace me!” He spits out the words and you can tell he’s hoping they’ll break you all over. Hardin is nothing but not persistent in his methods.
“What I do is none of your concern anymore, Hardin. You made sure of that yourself.”
“I’d dumped you sooner if I’d known you were such a whore.” It’s like you’re standing on the other side of the road observing it all from a distance. His words are meant to cut you like knives but you just feel empty. These last couple of weeks have drained you and now you have nothing left to give. Why he’s even bothered now that he has Tessa is a question you have no answer for. You’d figured he would be too busy with her to even notice you.
“Don’t talk to her like that!” Zed intercepts ready to fight Hardin right then and there but you spot security slowly walking towards the three of you. Hardin is once again making quite a scene but you and Zed don’t have the same kind of protection from the Chancellor that Hardin does. You can’t risk getting caught up in this.
“You already broke me, Hardin. I have nothing left for you to take so please just go back to Tessa.” Without another word you take Zed’s hand and leads the two of you away from college not even caring how it looks to Hardin. You’ll have to miss another day. You can’t face those hallways again - they hold all the small touches and sweet nothings shared between you and Hardin.
“I’m transferring,” you tell Zed as you’re approaching his car. You haven’t thought about it before but after seeing Hardin you’ve realised that it’s too much for you. The college holds too much for you to face it again. The kind of heartbreak Hardin caused you is something that time won’t mend.
“Me too. I don’t want to see his face ever again.” You look over at Zed and realises that you’re not the only one Hardin’s hurt. You remember his last relationship that Hardin turned into a game.
“Where should we go?” you ask.
“Seattle? I’ve always wanted to go there.” And just like that it’s decided. Of course there’s all the paper work when you decide to switch school in the middle of a semester, but you both manage to transfer within a month. You find a crappy apartment not too far from campus. Even though you’re both thinking about it, none of you mention Hardin again. You apply for intern jobs and even manages to get an interview at Vance Publishing. It’s a new branch but you already know the company. It’s the one Hardin left right after first semester but for once the reminder of Hardin doesn’t cut your heart. So when you’re standing in front of the huge building Wednesday afternoon, you can actually breathe.
“Hold the elevator!” you yell walking faster. Thankfully, the guy in the elevator holds the door for you.
“Thank you.” He smiles as you walk past him into the elevator.
“Are you new here?” he asks pressing the button for the 3rd floor.
“I’m here for an interview,” you reply and take a second to look at him. He’s pretty. A cute smile and judging by his vibe and choice of clothes definitely no tattoos. He’s nothing like your usual type and definitely nothing like Hardin. Something about that draws you in.
“Oh, I hope you get it then.” It’s a sweet thing to say really and it calms your nerves.
“Thank you.” The elevator opens and he steps out. The moment gone.
“I’m Trevor by the way. I hope to see you around.”

You lie on his chest, fingers tracing circles over smooth skin. It’s just you and him. You and your Commander. He’s sleeping, soft breaths escaping his slightly parted lips, his lashes curly and long. He looks relaxed when he sleeps. More relaxed than you ever see him. He’s a man who feels that he needs to save the entire galaxy, and slumber is the only time where he relieves himself of that burden.
“Poe,” you murmur. “Sweetheart.” Your hand caresses his cheek. A worry weighs heavy on your chest. You want someone to talk to.
You know he won’t mind you waking him. He never does.
His eyelids flutter, a soft groan escaping his lips. The light streaming through the window reflects handsomely on him as he rubs his eyes, a smile playing out across his face at the sight of you beside him, slightly over him.
“Morning, princess,” he says softly, a tired raspiness to his voice. He glances at the clock, raising an eyebrow at the time. “What the hell, sweetheart? It’s early.” He says it as if he intends it to be a complaint, but there’s no malice behind his voice, just a mild concern.
“I know, I’m sorry,” you whisper, momentarily regretting your decision.
“Hey, it’s fine.” He brushes a strand of hair from your face. “What’s wrong?” His hand gently rests on your back, pulling you back down to his chest.
“Just worried about my mission tomorrow.” You know it’s going to be dangerous. You knew that the moment you’d received the assignment. But of course, you’d accepted it, for this was your duty: to work for the greater good and lie down your life for it if necessary.
Poe presses a kiss to your forehead. “You’ve got it planned down to the second. It’ll be clean in and out, like always. You’re Leia’s best agent for a reason, love.” His genuine insistence begins to feed an easiness into you.
“You don’t know that,” you reply, not quite knowing where this anxiety is coming from. Usually, you’re calm, ready to fight your own little war. But this time, there is a bad feeling settled in the pit of your stomach.
“I do,” he insists, wrapping his arms around you. “It’ll go well. I know it will.” He pauses. “You’re the strongest person I know.”
..::::.. ..::::.. ..::::.. ..::::..
Strongest person I know.
You’ve never felt weaker as you lie on the cold stone floor.
It’ll go well.
It hadn’t gone well. You hadn’t seen it coming. The soldier coming in behind you. The impossibly strong blow to your head before the whole world went black.
But regardless, here you are. You shiver, your vision coming and going in spots before you. The ground of your cell is wet, each point of contact piercing your skin with an unbearable chill. You are hungry. And thirsty. And cold. And in so much pain.
The days pass and slowly blend into one. You don’t know how long you’ve been here. As your perception of time fades, so too does your hope. The Resistance is not coming. You are near certain. You’ll die at the hands of these pathetic First Order sympathizers. The days of waiting for your savior to come busting through the doors are long over. You only lay there, waiting for death—even hoping for it. The blows you take from your captors barely faze you anymore.
As your sanity dissolves, and as more time passes, an entire section of your head that you’d locked away years ago begins to come undone. You think of your home that you’d abandoned years ago, as if it’d meant nothing to you as you desperately searched the galaxy for your place in it all.
Visions of the oceans you grew up by flash in your mind, along with sundresses and red lipstick. I love you, whispers your mother. Extensive seas of hibiscus and forests of palms calm your nerves. You relish those visions, cling to them with desperation. If this is how you’ll die, you suppose it’s not the worst way to go.
But even that has its negatives, for each time your delirium collapses in calamity, all you can see and feel are darkness, gray, and cold. No longer warm sands and fiery skies, just the concrete. No more rippling water and flowers gently swaying in the wind, just the silence.
You are terrified. Fear is ripping you apart. The noises of your captors make you tense up. The wound slowly leaking blood onto the ground beneath you worries you. The pain in your entire body makes you await death like an old abuser.
And just like all your other times of fear, you turn to one person in your head. Him. Poe.
For a moment, you feel ridiculous. Like you’re some helpless damsel in a holodrama spending her last moment pathetically yearning away for her love. But in truth, Poe is much more than your love. He is the star to your planet, keeping you in orbit, stopping you from being flung into the endless depths of the cosmos.
He is your confidant, your rock, your partner in crime, your best friend in the entire galaxy and beyond. The concrete ripples in your delirium, shifting like the smoke your pilot leaves in his wake when he takes to the skies. He is your once in a lifetime, and you are determined to cherish him as your final hour approaches.
..::::.. ..::::.. ..::::.. ..::::..
You slip and fall in and out of consciousness, seeing skies and concrete and oceans.
Gray.…orange.…gray.…blue.…gray, once more.
You’re in your own head, watching memories on replay, like you’re stuck in some joyous sub-reality that you’re so close, yet so far from reaching.
“Hey, what’s wrong?”
You jolt from where you’re sitting, out on the airfield, on some cargo boxes, legs hanging down. The sun is setting, the air is cooling, life out there is dying for the night. The presence of the curly-haired pilot is nearly bothersome. You want to be alone.
Regardless, he climbs up beside you, loosely slinging an arm over your shoulder. Something about his demeanor always makes you relax.
“Just not having the best day,” you respond, staring at the concrete below.
“Would it be too intrusive to ask why?” His voice is tentative, unsure. “Or is this the part where I shut up and be quiet and just be there for you.”
You laugh softly, processing his words. There for you. You wonder if he feels like he has to be. There’s no doubt that there’s something between the two of you going on. That’s been going on.
“Maybe I’ll tell you later.”
Months of flirtations between you two. Compliments thrown back and forth, countless winks and touches, unsure if the attraction was true and not just some cheap distraction from the war. Not just an attempt to ease pain by feeling desired by someone.
“Do you ever get tired of it?” you ask, your voice a little too shaky to not strike concern in him. “The war.”
He frowns, his fingers walking into your hand. You’re a fighter. He knows that. And this type of talk was not one to come from you.
“What happened?” His voice is always soft, always comforting. But somehow it comes out even softer.
You scoff. “Why do you even care?” It’s meant to come out lighthearted, but somehow it ends up sounding more malicious than you’d intended.
“Because I care about you, sweetheart,” he whispers, the last remnants of the sun beginning to disappear.
“Yeah?” You pull your hand away, twisting your fingers with your own instead. “You bother all your friends like this?” You rebuff his obvious admittance in a humorous tone, recoiling from the real, deep emotions beginning to permeate the air. You don’t feel like dealing with real emotions now. So in response, you grow defensive.
“Not when I care about them as more than a friend.”
You freeze. Your immediate first thought is whether or not he’s messing with you. But not because he’s the Resistance golden boy or because he’s an outstanding pilot or because he’s impossibly handsome. You’re on par with him in your own game, and you don’t think of him like that.
But you would’ve had that reaction to anyone who’d told you they cared about you. You haven’t been in a good place as of late.
Poe is staring at you. Just staring. Waiting for you to say something. You say nothing. Your thoughts are racing, telling yourself to get something out. But nothing comes. And when you finally get the courage to look at him, there is only hurt. It’s written across his face, already engraved in his posture.
He looks betrayed. As if thinking that you’d been the one messing with him during all those months of flirtations. He doesn’t snap at you. Doesn’t lose his temper. But that makes it all the more worse.
“Forget…forget I said it.” He sighs, giving you one last look before hopping down.
You watch as he goes, your shoulders slumped, already beginning to beat yourself up. But something comes over you.
“Dameron, wait!” you call out, going after him. He turns as you get to him, and you grab the collar of his jacket, pulling him towards you till your foreheads are touching.
You stare at him with apologetic, yet adoring, eyes as your hands find their way into his curls. He’s the one that closes the gap, his lips melding with yours, hands on each other, tender and soft.
He’s also the one that pulls away first, a radiant smile on his face, one you’ve never seen before. The usual is one that’s practiced, flirtatious, charismatic. This one is relaxed, genuinely happy.
A breeze blows past, making you shiver.
“Cold?” he asks, and you nod, a smile tugging at your own lips. He wraps an arm around your shoulder. “Come on.” He begins to lead you back inside. “I’ve got you, sweetheart.”
That’d marked the beginning of a romantic relationship that still prevailed many years down the line. You smile thinking about it, absentmindedly listening to the tap of the leaky concrete ceiling. A small meal of something that looks terrible is shoved through your cell door before it closes again.
The two of you had shared memories, secrets, pleasure, and pain. Love and anger and jealousy. Everything both of you had was passed to the other, whether it be out of giving or the need to share a burden. You’d lived through victories together. Trials and tribulations. Incidents that had come too close to death for comfort. Those that had been knocking at death’s doorstep…
“Where. Is. He?” You’re hands are in your hair, facing down the General, taking a tone with her that could earn you a demotion. But you don’t care. You’re terrified. Poe was supposed to return a week ago. It’s been three.
Leia looks at you, not angered. There’s something akin to sadness in her eyes, and she looks at you with that motherly gaze of hers, feeling your distress traveling through the air to her.
“You should be focusing on your missions, Major,” she simply says. She walks up to you, resting a hand on your shoulder as you feel a heat at the back of your eyes begging to come free. “Listen to me.” She says your name, making sure that you’re providing her with your full, undivided attention. “You are our best agent, best spy, best sniper. I need you level-headed, and worrying is not going to do that.”
“With all due respect, General,” you reply, straightening your posture. “I don’t believe I can get any more worried than I am now. At least if I know, I’ll have something to help me make peace.”
She sighs, walking around her desk, sitting in the chair, leaning back and momentarily shutting her eyes. “We have reason to believe he may have been captured by First Order sympathizers in the Outer Rim.”
You show no reaction at her revelation, but inside, you are curling up, sobbing. You know that Poe is strong, that he’s clever, and courageous, and brave, but past evidence does not lie. Those who are captured by the First Order or those who sympathize with them never return…
You jump as the alarm in the med bay near the General’s office sounds, and it does nothing to aid your mood. That alarm means hope slipping through the cracks. Searching for life but ultimately finding death. It means that emergency aid is immediately needed on whoever has returned.
But as you hear medics rushing by, you swear that you hear a familiar last name. And before Leia can stop you, you’re running. Chatter seems louder as you push past people. The air seems more alive. Perhaps indicative of an important someone making a miraculous return.
And then you see him. The hopeful high you’d felt crashed to the ground, now impossibly low. He looks dead. But he is not. And perhaps that’s worse. He’s layered in bruises and cuts. A chunk of his hair appears to be missing. One of his eyes is closed, the other is swollen shut.
The next day is all a blur, filed with tears and apprehension and a sense of loss. You’re in a haze, all consumed in a numbness. You’re not allowed to see him at first, and when you finally are, the two of you get your first quiet moment together alone.
You sit at his bedside, your fingers laced with his, listening to his breathing. When he stirs, he lets out a small groan. “Poe,” you whisper.
He mutters something unintelligible, but he gives your hand a squeeze. “Hey, sweetheart,” he murmurs, finally cracking open his eyes. The first thing he sees are your tears, and even in his debilitated state, he looks concerned. “Are you alright?”
You stare at him. “You’re asking me that?”
“Well, I’d say you seem to be in a worse state than me at this point.”
You let out a choked laugh, smiling and crying harder at the same time. You lean over, resting your head on his chest, relieved to feel him again. “I was so scared,” you whisper.
“It’s okay,” he simply says.
You feel his hand on your skin, his thumb brushing tears away. “You looked dead,” you whimper. “You looked so close.”
He closed his eyes a moment, his own breath shaking, “I’m here now, baby. I’m safe…with you.”
You jolt as the door to your cell slams open. No words are said as a boot makes contact with your stomach, right on the spot that had previously been leaking blood. You cry out as you feel it open again, the warm liquid dripping down your side.
At the beginning of your stay here, they’d asked you questions, none of which you answered. Eventually, they’d stopped, and now, all they did was make you suffer. It didn’t seem that they had any definitive goal in mind, only to cause you pain.
A set of hands roam your body, and you don’t move. Don’t even flinch as a derogatory and suggestive remark leaves your captor’s mouth. You feel his hands at your pants, sliding them down, and you dread what will come. It’s already happened before…multiple times, but it does not get easier with each reoccurrence. You utilize the only defense mechanism you have left. You retreat into your head once more.
The city lights are beautiful. Gold and white and neon and blue. You’ve always loved cities; you still do. They’re alive in every way. A culmination of a million cultures from every corner of the galaxy. Millions of beings, none of which know or care who you are.
You’re happily shrouded in your anonymity, content to be no one.
You stand on the balcony of your hotel room, looking out across the buildings, focusing on little scenes: a couple buying ice cream, a drunk throwing up into a bush in the far distance.
Your love sleeps behind you, soft breaths floating through the air, just barely reaching your ear. Or at least, you believe he is asleep. You don’t hear his footsteps on the floor, but he is there. He comes up behind you, wrapping his arms around your waist and pressing a soft, gentle kiss to your neck.
“Hey,” you whisper, leaning into him, feeling him around you. “Can’t sleep?”
He shook his head.
“Me neither,” you respond. The clock reads midnight, but the air still crackles with life. “Go for a walk?”
He nods, the both of you getting dressed. On the street, there is soft music drifting through the air, a jazz from a sidewalk cafe still open to night workers and night owls. His arm is wrapped around your shoulder, yours around his waist, as you two slowly walk down the street.
His body is warm against the chilly air, and you nestle against him as you stroll. You and him stop by the river, watching the water ripple below, painted a million different colors by the light. More buildings shine in the distance, forming a jagged skyline, so intricate that you want to drag your fingers along it and feel the texture.
You notice Poe’s gaze on you.
“What?” you ask, raising an eyebrow.
He pauses a moment. “Nothing, you’re just… beautiful,” he simply responds.
You laugh. “All these lights, and you’re looking at me?”
He only smiles and shrugs. The subtle compliment makes you warm inside, security washing over you. As a gust of wind blows past, he moves behind, wrapping his arms around you on either side to keep you warm.
You adore this place.
Just you and your love—in the midst of one beautiful city midnight.
You snap back to reality, the memory making you smile. Pain vanishes for a small amount of time as you think.
No, this would not be the worst way to go.

A/N: Yo, I've had this sitting in my docs since … March? Well, i decided to put it out, seeing as I'm FINALLY seeing Season Three! Although this fic doesn't include it. Think of this as post-season two, and just ignoring season three. Full batfam are just never introduced to the Team.
WORK-
It was a slow weekend on the Watchtower, with no missions, catastrophes, or alien invasions. So most of the Team and League were either at home, or chilling in the space station.
The latter was exactly what Garfield and M'gann were doing. They had been on the Watchtower for the entirety of the morning, playing various types of board games. Every so often someone would pop in on them, but for the most part they were enjoying some sibling bonding time.
“You know what we need?” Garfield asked in the middle of Candy Land.
“No, I thought we were doing just fine the way we were,” M'gann replied, confused.
Garfield scoffed. “Food, obviously! I'm starving! Let's head to the cafeteria and see if Bart left any ice cream.”
*****
They didn't find any ice cream. Though, what was there was alarming.
M'gann and Garfield had strode into the cafeteria finding it almost empty. The single occupant was a man in cargo pants, a leather jacket, and a red helmet. He also wore a gray armored shirt, which had some sort of red symbol. The symbol was obscured, however, by the ginormous gun he was cleaning.
M'gann recognized him immediately as the Red Hood, a top-tier crime lord from Gotham.
“Why Hello, Miss Martian. Beast Boy.” Red Hood didn’t even look up.
“Hey sis, did someone new join the team or -”
Garfield was cut off by M'gann grabbing his wrist and flying out of the room as fast as she could. “Code Orange. Code Orange,” M'gann sent out to everyone on the Watchtower. “There is an intruder on the Watchtower! An ‘A’ level Villain. Armed. Repeat, there is an armed villain on the Watchtower.”
“That was a villain?!” Garfield asked in a surprised voice as he raced along with M’gann.
“Yes, Garfield. Red Hood. I have no idea how he got here though. We need to gather everyone. Make sure they're ready for a fight. Especially Nightwing and Robin, he's a Gotham villain, so they should know what to do.”
Garfield nodded, changed into a hawk, and flew off.
Soon almost everyone was gathered outside the cafeteria's doors. Garfield had yet to bring Nightwing, but Robin was present, and at the front of the group. The only adult leaguer present was Captain Marvel, who had been on monitor duty at the time. The major leaguers - including the big three - were on some sort of low threat level assignment.
“M'gann, report,” Aqualad spoke when he made his way to the front of the group where M'gann stood, blocking Conner from jumping the gun and attacking without a plan.
“Garfield and I were on our way to get some food, when we walked in on The Red Hood cleaning a large gun threateningly. I pulled Gar out as fast as possible and alerted everyone.”
Robin groaned loudly. “Hood? Of all the days to infiltrate the Watchtower, he chose today?”
Aqualad frowned. “You do not seem that alarmed. Is he not as dangerous as we have been told?”
Robin snorted. “Oh, he’s dangerous alright. Tried to kill me multiple times, almost succeeded too. But right now I’m just annoyed.”
Superboy grunted. “That doesn’t matter right now! There is a villain in our lunch room! We need to do something!”
Robin shrugged. “Do what you want. B is gonna kill me either way.”
No one understood what Robin meant, so they decided to follow Kon’s advice. Aqualad took charge.
“We enter on three. Blue Beetle, Rocket, Kid Flash, and Wondergirl go right. Superboy, Lagoon Boy, Miss Martian, and Captain Marvel go left. Zatanna and Robin, follow me. Try to encircle him. Get him talking, and see if we can figure out what he wants. M’gann, link us up.”
Robin grumbled, but nodded along with everyone else. M’gann activated the mind link. Once everyone had given the affirmative, Aqualad began the count.
“One. Two. Three. Go!”
Everyone burst through the doors and assumed their positions. The Red Hood was still sitting where M’gann had said. He was still cleaning his gun, though he paused when the Team entered.
“Took you long enough. I was getting bored.”
Robin glared at Red Hood. “What are you doing here, Hood?”
The intruder seemed to smile under his helmet. “Why’re you so grumpy today, babybird? I was getting bored in Gotham. Figured I’d stop by and say hello to the Team.” Hood turned to look at the rest of the Team and waved. “Hey Team. Captain Marvel. How’re you doing?”
No one replied. Red Hood sighed and shook his head. “No one cares about me.”
“Dude, there is a full attack force ready to beat the crap out of you,” Blue Beetle said. “I’m pretty sure there are people who care that you’re here.”
Red Hood chuckled. “You couldn’t beat me if you tried. Tell ‘em, Replacement.”
Robin smirked. “Not after what I saw last week. You were taken down by two low level thugs.”
Red Hood groaned. “Dude, I was drunk.”
No one had the chance to question this as it was at that exact moment that Beast Boy burst into the room followed closely by Nightwing. He had his escrima sticks out, and looked ferocious.
“Hey ‘wing! Nice of you to join us.” Red Hood sounded positively gleeful.
Nightwing, instead of attacking, groaned and put his weapons away. “This is what you called me for? It's just Hood.”
Aqualad frowned. “Is not the Red Hood a security level A enemy? Shouldn’t you be worried?”
Red Hood shook his head. “Level A? I’m flattered! Maybe you and B do care!”
Nightwing sighed, walked over to Hood, and collapsed on the sofa beside him. The Team was shocked to say the least.
“ ‘Course we care, Hood.” Nightwing said, causing many gasps.
“Nightwing,” Aqualad said, “What are you talking about? Is not this man one of your Rogues? Robin said that he tried to kill him multiple times!”
Nightwing just shrugged. “So? He’s tried to kill me too.”
Red Hood tilted his head as he looked at Robin. “You still go by Robin, here? Boy, Demon-spawn is going to kill you!”
Robin crossed his arms and glared. “It was easier. Do you know how long it takes to change your Zeta Settings?”
Red Hood nodded sagely. “So you were too lazy.”
Robin spluttered, but didn’t deny the accusations.
“Are we forgetting,” Conner said, “That there is a villain in the Watchtower? How did he get in?!”
“Hey Red,” Nightwing asked, grinning, “How’d you get up here, anyway?”
Red Hood seemed to smirk under his helmet. “Blackmail is a glorious thing.”
There was an uproar in the mind link. Accusations flew. Who had Red Hood blackmailed? What did he know about them that could possibly warrant an unauthorized visit to the Watchtower? What was almost as scary was how nonchalant Nightwing seemed. Robin also didn’t seem that worried. In fact he looked … sheepish?
Nightwing laughed. “Whatever he has on you, Robin, must be good!”
“Robin!” M’gann exclaimed. He was the last person anyone expected to be Blackmailed. The bats were so secretive, no one really knew anything about them. This situation with Red Hood being a prime example.
“Hermano,” Blue Beetle said, clearly distressed, “How could you do this?”
Robin just shrugged. “He knew something bad, guys. It couldn’t get out.”
Nightwing looked positively gleeful, the exact opposite of what everyone else was feeling. “Come on, Hood. What did he do?”
Red Hood was shaking with laughter. “He brewed his coffee with a mix of Red Bull and Monster, then topped it off with four Five Hour Energy’s, and three double shots of espresso. When he was on strict orders to sleep.”
“Timothy Jackson Drake!” Nightwing exclaimed, sitting up. He seemed more exasperated than angry. “We’ve talked about this! You are going to get yourself killed if you keep going on like this!”
Robin did not look the least bit apologetic. “Hood! You said you wouldn’t tell!”
Red Hood shrugged. “I said I wouldn’t tell Agent A or Bats. You didn’t say anything about Nightwing or the Team.”
Robin collapsed on the nearest chair. “I’m dead, aren’t I?”
Nightwing nodded. “You are so grounded after this. I’m telling Agent A, and we’re changing all your coffee to decaf!”
Robin groaned. The rest of the Team was confused. For one thing, that wasn’t necessarily that bad of a thing to hide? Sure it was disgusting, but it's not like Robin killed anyone. For another, who did that to their coffee?! But the most worrisome was how did Red Hood know about that? He must have been close to the bird. And how did he know Agent A? Not even the OG Team members had met the mysterious Agent A, who coordinated and cared for the Bats.
“That still doesn’t answer why there is a villain in our cafeteria!” Rocket exclaimed. There were several agreeing nods.
Red Hood sighed. “I told you, I’m here to say hi!” He turned to Robin, “I haven’t seen you in ages.” Though he spoke toward Robin, the Team couldn’t help but feel like he was talking to everyone in the room.
Just then, Kid Flash flew into the room. The lightning trailing from his wake crackled quietly as he stopped next to Aqualad.
“I heard that we had an infiltration and - woah! It's the Red Hood! Why didn’t you tell me it was him! Awesome!” There was a flash, and Kid Flash was standing over Red Hood with a notebook and pen in hand. “Can I have your autograph?”
Nightwing looked like he was trying not to laugh, Robin looked slightly peeved, and everyone else was just confused.
Red Hood’s face wasn’t visible, but his body language clearly showed how pleased he was. “Now this is how you should be treating me!” Hood spoke and he signed the page that Kid Flash helpfully pointed out. “How does ‘Red Hood, to the only decent speedster I’ve ever met’ sound?”
Kid Flash was grinning. “Perfect! Thanks so much! All the info surrounding you was pretty vague in the timelines, so I wasn’t sure if you were even back yet! Or working with the bats again. But boy am I glad you are! You’ve always been my favorite! Do you know how cool you are, dude?!”
Red Hood tilted his head. “Of course I do, kid. Glad someone else sees it though.” He seemed to glare at Nightwing as he said the last part, who only shook his head.
Kid Flash got his notebook back and positively bounced over to Blue Beetle. “Dude did you see this? He actually signed it!”
Blue Beetle frowned. “Why did you want his autograph in the first place?”
Red Hood spluttered, clearly annoyed. “Why wouldn’t he?”
“Yeah,” Kid Flash said, “Why wouldn’t I want the autograph of clearly the best Outlaw?” He paused to think. “Are you with the Outlaws yet?”
Red Hood shrugged. “I haven’t seen either of them in a few months, but we are meeting next week for an … outing.”
Nightwing snorted and muttered something that sounded suspiciously like “mercenaries and drugs. What could go wrong.”
Red Hood glared at Nightwing. “Like nothing you ever do goes wrong.”
Nightwing snorted. “Yeah, but I never leave a trail of bodies.”
“Okay, one, the bodies were on purpose,” Hood said, “And two, I stopped! No more killing people for widdle ol’ me.”
“Mostly.” Robin said.
“Mostly,” Red Hood agreed.
“Why is their bickering so familiar?” M’gann asked.
“It’s like they’re siblings,” Captain Marvel replied.
“Oh Gosh,” Kid Flash said, “You guys really don’t -”
Suddenly Nightwing, Robin and Red Hood stiffened in unison. The air seemed to drop several degrees. Then Batman strode into the room flanked by Superman and Wonder Woman.
“Thank the gods,” Wondergirl said. “This guy just showed up, he said he blackmailed Robin into letting him up, and Nightwing isn’t doing anything about it! Please tell us you -”
“Uncle Clark! Aunt Diana!” Red Hood seemed strangely happy to see the most powerful people in the League. He even knew their civilian names! There were several gasps.
Wonder Woman strode forward, and Red Hood sprang up to meet her. “ Red Hood! So good to see you. How has your life been my little warrior?” They hugged briefly, and Beast Boy almost fainted.
“Pretty good, Aunt Diana. You know, a little dark, a little gloomy. And, as always, hey, full of dead people. What are you gonna do?”
Robin snorted. “Did you just quote Hercules at Wonder Woman? An Amazon?”
Wonder smiled - quite motherly, Kaldur thought in the mind link - at Red Hood. “It's been too long my dear. Next time you have a day off, come find me in Paris. We should spend more time together.”
“I’ll be sure to!”
Wonder Woman stepped to the side to allow Superman forward. “Really, how have you been kiddo?”
“I’m not a kid anymore, supes. Haven’t been since I was fifteen and you know it.” Superman seemed to flinch, which in and of itself was a shock. Red Hood shrugged. “But I’ve been good. Had to deal with these idiots a lot,” he gestured to Nightwing and Robin, both of whom looked indignant, “but … I’ve been good.”
Superman smiled. “Great. You should come to the farm sometime, Ma misses you.”
“He can - he’s gone to the farm?!” Superboy couldn’t hold back his shock. He had only just been allowed to go, and meet Ma Kent.
Red Hood nodded as Superman stepped aside to join Wonder Woman. “Of course, I’ve been coming for years.”
Superboy was slack jawed at this revelation, and, despite much cajoling from his teammates, was unable to close his mouth.
“Hood.” Batman said. He spoke tiredly, in a way no one in the Team had ever heard him use before. “Do you have to traumatize everyone you meet?”
“Oh, you wanna talk about trauma?” Red Hood’s voice was filled with a maliciously gleeful tone. “ ‘Cause you should hear about this one time, I was hanging out with the Joker - just chilling, y’know - and then -”
Red Hood was cut off by a grimacing Nightwing punching him in the shoulder. “Not now, okay?”
“Come on, I’m sure the gang would love to hear all the gruesome details …”
“Hood,” Batman repeated slightly more urgently. “What are you doing on the Watchtower?”
Red Hood sighed. “For the last time, I wanted to say hi to the Team. I haven’t seen these guys in ages.”
“We have never met before,” Aqualad said, confused.
Red Hood shook his head. “They don’t remember me.” He seems thoughtful for a moment. “Maybe there weren’t enough explosions.”
“Hood,” Batman continued. “You know you aren’t allowed up here without permission. Which you just had to ask for. I would have set up a time to let you see everyone.”
This time when the Team was surprised, Nightwing and Robin joined in; Their faces twin depictions of shock.
Red Hood didn’t seem to care, though. “Since when have I ever asked you for anything, old man. Besides, this way is more fun. Drama, and all that sh*t.” He sat back on the sofa. “You should have seen their faces! Best fun I’ve had since Nightwing and I got drunk in Blüdhaven a few weeks back!”
Batman whirled to Nightwing, who was looking quite sheepish. “You did what?”
Nightwing shrugged. “It had been a long night, and I was getting over a bad break up. Hood was being an outstanding citizen by aiding me in my hour of need!”
“F*** yeah, Big-Wing!”
Batman shook his head. “Hood, you aren’t of legal drinking age, there is no way you were being an outstanding citizen.”
The Team could barely keep up. Nightwing and Red Hood were close enough to get drunk together? Hood was under twenty one? Batman seemed close enough to Hood to know he was under twenty one. Well, that last one could be easily explained: he was Batman after all.
Red Hood grumbled his assent before perking up. “Hey bats, is that why you still have me down as a villain on the official League files?”
Batman seemed at a loss for words. He just employed his signature BatGlare™ on the intruder. Red Hood didn’t seem affected at all, which could easily be taken as the most surprising thing about the whole encounter. Even Superman flinched at the BatGlare™.
“Do you understand the mixed signals you’re sending me?” Hood Continued. “I mean, I’m allowed to Sunday dinner, but I’m also classified as one of the most dangerous criminals on earth?”
“Sunday dinner?” Several people asked in unison.
“Don’t get me wrong, I’m flattered that you think so high of me, but I changed to f***ing rubber bullets for you! Doesn’t that give me some credit? Or were you just too lazy to change it. Like Replacement over here, who still goes by Robin.”
“Yes, of course you deserve to be taken off the list. You’ve made so much progress. I’ll change your file as soon as I can.” He frowned. “And for the love of god, please call Tim by his name, or hero moniker.”
“Yeah, call me by my name, Hood!” Robin seemed to be rolling his eyes under his domino mask. “There’s a first time for everything.”
Red Hood looked appeased. “Good.” He collapsed back on the couch and continued to clean his gun.
Batman sighed. “Do you want something else?”
“Well, now that you’re asking …” Red Hood seemed exceptionally sly. “It is getting a bit boring in here.” he paused as if to think. “Hey! We should throw a party! "
Batman glowered. "No. The last time I let you have a party, the Bat cave was covered in glitter for three days straight!"
“You’ve held parties in the Batcave?” Aqualad asked.
Red Good sighed and shook his head. "Good times, good times. But you forget that that glitter was purple. I wasn’t completely to blame!”
Batman sighed once more, while Robin sat up straight.
“Is that why Spoiler didn’t come to the house for a week?”
Nightwing nodded. “Yup. She was too scared to see Agent A. Though she wouldn’t mind yelling at B.”
“And flip him off while doing so.” Red Hood sighed contentedly. “I taught her well.”
“You didn’t teach her anything!” Nightwing contradicted. “She’s been flipping people off since before you returned to Gotham! She gave the single-fingered salute B when they first met - with a smile on her face!”
The Team wondered who could be so brave, none of them were.
Red Hood seemed overjoyed. “Really? Why haven’t I heard about this before! How did Batsy react?”
“Like a deer in headlights,” Robin replied, smirking.
Red Hood began to clap. “She makes the Robin legacy proud, doesn’t she?”
“Does that mean this girl was a Robin?” Rocket asked.
“Batman reacted like a deer in headlights?” Captain Marvel added.
Nightwing nodded sardonically. “Yes, because pissing off Batman is exactly what I had in mind when I started Robin.”
“I wouldn’t be surprised, Golden Boy,” Red Hood snorted, “You’ve swung off of and broken enough chandeliers for it to be coincidance.”
Nightwing grimaced. “So there have been some casualties.”
Batman shook his head. “Casualties?”
Robin nodded quite seriously. “Of course, B. How else would you know to get gymnastic equipment?”
“He could have asked. Instead I had to spend thousands of dollars every time Nightwing decided he wanted to try some new trapeze routine.” Batman shook his head. “Why do all of you decide it's your job to vandalize my home?”
Robin raised his hands. “Hey, I didn’t destroy anything important!”
“No, you just randomly got rid of my computers when you decided we needed an upgrade.”
“Well we did!”
“Hah! I’ve never done any permanent damage to your house!” Red Hood seemed very self satisfied.
Batman, Nightwing, and Robin paused for a moment, thinking.
“That,” Robin said, “Is truly depressing.”
“Hn,” Batman replied.
“Good job Hood,” Nightwing said, “You have managed not to disappoint B in one field.”
Red Hood seemed to roll his eyes. “Don’t worry, I make up for it in all the other ways!”
“Can someone PLEASE explain to me what’s going on?” Garfield asked, bouncing in place.
All the bats turned to look at him in unison, causing the kid to shrink back and hide behind M’gann. A moment later, though, Red Hood sighed audibly. He reached up and felt for some hidden latches in his hamlet. There was a click and he pulled it off. Underneath was a red domino mask. He reached up and pulled that off next.
There were several gasps from the OG Team. The man before them was older, his jaw-line matured, scars littering his face. He had a white streak in his hair and blue eyes rimmed with a pulsing poisonous green. But they still recognized him.
“What?” Zattanna whispered, her eyes wide.
“You’re …” Conner began,shocked, “You’re alive?”
“How?” Rocket asked. “You were dead.”
In unison, the five people who knew the stranger turned to Nightwing.
“You said you wouldn’t fake any more deaths!” M’gann announced, anger flowing through her.
“How could you, Dick?” Kaldur asked, frowning insteansly. “No more secrets, you promised.”
Nightwing sighed. “I had no part in this, let me tell you. It was the Al Ghuls. We didn’t find out till a year ago.”
“That’s still a year you took to tell us!” Conner glared.
Nightwing shrugged. “It was extenuating circumstances, alright? Not completely my choice.”
Seeing that questioning Dick would be fruitless, Zatanna turned back to the Red Hood. “how are you alive?”
He grinned. “The Lazarus Pit does wonders for the skin, let me tell you.”
This brought a stir throughout the room. Everyone had heard of the legendary substance that granted Ra’s Al Ghul immortality.
“Someone still needs to tell me who this is,” Cassie said, her hands on her hips.
Batman sighed. “Everyone, this is Jason Peter Todd, my son, and the second Robin.”
Everyone who didn’t already know blinked several times.
“The hologram in the park?” Jaime asked. “The one who was killed by the Joker?”
“The very one!” Jason grinned. “Nice to know some people know me.”
“I thought there were only two Robins?” La'gaan stated more than asked with a frown.
In unison, Nightwing, Red Hood, Robin, and even Superman started to laugh.
“Oh kid,” Jason said, grabbing his sides, “you’re adorable!”
“Only two Robins,” Superman said, grinning, “Batman wishes.”
Nightwing was choking with laughter, but once he’d calmed down, he looked at La’gaan again, and proceeded to break down again.
“Two Robins?!” Robin looked in awe, “Wow, now that’s a thought.”
“I’m sorry?” La'gaan asked. He didn’t look sorry.
“There have been five Robins,” Red Hood explained after a moment, “Six if you count that new kid. But that whole thing was kinda weird.”
“Six?!” several people announced, and looked at Batman, who nodded.
“How come we’ve never met them?” M’gann asked, “Nightwing, how could you not have told us?”
“You haven’t met them ‘cause most of the bats stick to Gotham,” Robin answered, “there hasn’t a need to drag everyone up here. Let alone the Robins.”
“Wait,” Zattanna said, “There are more bats?”
NIghtwing laughed again. “Oh boy, you guys really know nothing? Do any of you pay attention to Gotham?” There were several sheepish smirks, and Nightwing sighed. “Artemis is the only one who actually gets this, isn’t she?”
Jason frowned. “I wish she was here today, I wanted to say high.” he then looked at the still confused faces of the hero community. He stood up dramatically, as if about to start a grand speech.“Okay, rundown. You know Batman, obviously. Dicky-bird over there was the first Robin. I was the second. Then you have Timbo who was the third-”
“Was?” several people asked.
“I still go by Robin up here ‘cause it's easier-”
“He’s too lazy to change his codes, we already established this,” Jason interrupted, glaring, “After him you have Robin four, that was for the time that Tim’s dad banned him from the roll. Then he died, and she died, so Tim was back to being Robin.” he ignored the several open mouthed faces and persevered, “then you have the little gremlin who’s currently Robin. He’s the ‘bloodson’ which he takes very seriously, so don’t tell him that just because daddybats over there and Talia Al Ghul hooked up means that he’s the F***ing savior.” Everyone turned to stare at Batman.
“Talia Al Ghul?” Jaime asked, “Isn’t she an assassin?”
“Yup!” Nightwing announced, drawing attention onto him. “And the kid’s a cutie!”
Tim scoffed. “That’s not half the bats though,” he pointed out. “You have Batwoman, Batwing … hey, Azrael counts, right?”
“I mean,” Dick said, “He was Batman at one point, and lives in Gotham so yeah. He’d probably not want to be called that though.”
Jason laughed. “He and Leslie think we’re all crazy. I mean, they’re right, but still.”
Tim laughed. “Yup! Then you have the batgirls, number one, you guys know her. She’s Oracle now, a behind the scenes tech support goddess. Then Batgirl number two, she goes by Black Bat now, takes care of Hong Kong when she’s not visiting home and being the favorite child.”
Batman frowned. “I don’t have favor-”
“You do.” All three former Robins said in unison.
“So yeah,” Dick continued, “She’s awesome. Easily kicks our butts - including B! But after her you have Spoiler, the third Batgirl, and fourth Robin. After her there’s Catwoman -” there were several gasps. “Oh yeah, she and Bats are totally a thing - have been for years. You wouldn’t be surprised if you saw their flirting! There was this one time when I was Robin, I was supposed to case a building while B went after Cat, right? Well when i got there, they were already half-”
“That’s enough.” Batman growled, and Nightwing grinned.
“Moving on!” Jason announced, “since we all have horrible memories of batcat freaky roof time, you have Huntress, and Blue Bird. Then The Signal - he was kinda a half Robin, in a gang war sort of way. But that’s not important. He’s the only meta protege of batsy’s, and if that doesn’t scream second favorite child, I don’t know what does!”
“You allow metas in Gotham now?!” Garfield asked.
“No.” all the bats announced in unison.
“Signal is the exception, and if you met him, you’d understand. Easily the sanest out of all of us.” Jason explained with a wink.
“Relatively the sanest!” Tim announced. “He literally jumped out of a police car, of a bridge, into the Gotham river, while saying ‘I am Robin. Plus, he handled the demon spawn on a rampage. He’s just as crazy as the rest of us.”
“None of this explains why we haven’t met these people!” Connor said.
Batman sighed heavily. “Fine. I’ll set up a meeting, check out who’s in town and such. Not today though, there’s a drug bust going down and no one’s available. Besides, they don’t even know what’s going on up here.”
Jason let out an awkward cough, and sat gingerly down on the couch. He seemed … guilty?
“Jason.” Batman growled in warning.
“I’m sorry, B!” Jason said, despite looking more along the lines of gleeful. “Blondie asked what I was doing today, and you know how hard it is to lie to her!”
Batman groaned - honest to gosh groaned! - and pinched the bridge of his nose. “She’s on her way right now, isn’t she?”
Jason shrugged. “She said something about grabbing snacks.”
Tim groaned. “We’re all dead.”
“What’s going on?” M’gann asked, “Why would this be bad?”
Dick sighed. “Spoiler is just … special.”
As if on cue, the door to the room crashed open dramatically, smoke seeping in. A purple clad figure stood dramatically in its wake, her cape swirling and arms raised over her head. She held two boxes of Munchkins in each fist.
“What’s up B*tches?” She asked. “I brought donuts!”

Overtime
(Flip Zimmerman x Reader)
A Flip Zimmerman One Shot
Rating: Mature
Request : May I make a request? If you say no that’s just fine! But maybe Flip Zimmerman and the new secretary at the station?@lemonypink
Author’s Note: I could picture this in the movie hahah. Anyways I hope y’all enjoy this.
Tagging: @meta-human-of-221b-ravenclaw
“Y/N! Need a copy of this report please!”
“Sure thing!”
“Hey! Is my handwriting sloppy ? I’ve always wanted to know”
“Well all I will say is ...maybe try writing slower”
“Argh! knew it”
You were full of soft giggles as you typed away in your typewriter. The phone rang with much gusto until you finally picked it up.
“Colorado Springs PD, how may I help you?...” you answered. With habit, you quickly took your notepad with one hand as you listened to the caller, “Uh huh...” you muttered, whilst writing down, “...sure. I will relay the message to him. Thank you for calling!” You said before you hung up.
Apart from the nonstop sounds of countless typewriters being utilized across the whole room, your ears were always brimming with requests, inquiries and complaints from all. Be it officers, detectives and civilians. Why wouldn’t it be? You were a secretary in the Intelligence Division.
Being mostly surrounded by the detectives in the precinct, you were in the company of quite an interesting bunch.
“Y/N?” Especially One person in particular. “Yes Flip?”
Cheerfully, you greeted. Wearing one of his signature flannel shirts, Detective Flip Zimmerman stood in front of your desk there with his partner Jimmy Creek. “...Could you help me draft a letter to the sergeant, please?”
“Sure thing Flip...” you said, flipping into a new page in the notepad, “I’m just gonna need some details” you continued, “What is this pertaining to?”
“It’s about my resignation”
The pen suddenly dropped out of your hand.
“Your WHAT??“ You yelled out. Never did you think you’d be this loud as you were just now.
Finally unable to contain himself, Jimmy burst into laughter, forcing Flip and the others to join him. Upon realizing their scheme, you scowled.
“Not funny gentlemen” you said sternly, getting up from your chair. “Awww...you should have seen the look on your face” “Well, good for you Jimmy!” You said sarcastically, with your arms folded, watching Jimmy reenact your reaction to the rest of the gang. Shaking your head, you smiled eventually, finding the humor in the situation as you sat down. These men may be detectives, but the inner child had never left their bodies. “Sorry about that” Flip said softly, making you realize he was still standing by your desk. He sounded remorseful, you could tell from his voice. “It’s alright” you replied with a chuckle , before you began to type again. “Didn’t think you’d be so surprised though” he said, watching you work while casually leaning against the desk. “No it’s just-” looking up, you quickly paused upon seeing his face, “....well you’re a good detective. And...it would be a mighty shame to see you go” you said.
“Thanks” With his eyes never leaving yours, he headed over to his own desk.
When it came to the matters of a criminal investigation, withholding information was a resounding no. But when it came to the matters of your heart, you knew it was best to withhold the most intimate details that lingered within. Especially when those details included your deep, affectionate feelings towards Flip Zimmerman.
It was obvious, You were drawn to him from the very first day. Being the first one you’ve encountered in Colorado Springs PD, he left a lasting impression. You could never forget that first day.
“Why are you staring like that?” He said that day, upon finding your eager eyes staring at the Colorado Springs PD signboard outside the building. Blushing with embarrassment, you struggled to answer. “It’s just that...I’ve never worked for Police before. It’s just unbelievable” You remembered yourself mutter shyly, looking at the tall figure next to you. “Well...believe it. You’re one of us now”He said, before walking away.
You remembered that small smile he gave. The way he made you feel inclusive with just one line. And the way he looked out for you in the precinct without making you feel you were a pity party.
The silent working hours allowed you to appreciate the handsome man he was. The flannel, the hair, the mustache certainly grew on you, to the point where maintaining eye contact was a difficult task. Possible but difficult.
Jimmy’s laughter did not seem to fade, causing Rookie detective Ron Stallworth to enter the room with curiosity.
“Morning Everyone” he said looking around.
“Ron...” Jimmy cried out, “...you just missed something hilarious” he said, still in the midst of sniggers. Ron looked quite confused.
“Really?” He asked with a chuckle, “And what is that?”
“My embarrassment...”You answered, shaking your head, inciting more laughter from everyone in the room.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
“You always have it up”
“Huh?”
Confused, you looked at Flip from your desk. Running his fingers through his raven hair, his inquisitive expression remained unchanged.
“Your hair...” he said, “It’s always up. Why?”
Feeling your high hair bun on the back of your head, you understood what he meant.
“Well...It’s proper. Isn’t it?” You said.
Being in a workplace, you never intended to look like a distraction. For it was easier to be one as a woman. So you wanted to be far from one. Hair bun, white shirt tucked in a navy blue skirt, you were the definition of proper.
“Y/L/N...” Sergeant Trapp came out of his office. You liked Trapp. He was kind to you.
“I know this isn’t your usual rodeo but...do you mind staying back tonight for some overtime? Gotta hell a lot of paperwork to finish up”
“Of course sir...” you answered in an instant. You’d rather slave away and finish up the work than leave it hanging for later.
And so you did. Two hours into overtime, you noticed the detectives haven’t left office. Huddled around Stallworth’s desk, Zimmerman, Creek and Trapp were engaged in a serious conversation while Ron was on the phone. From the chatter collected in the room, you were well informed of the current investigation about the clan, the organization. You could not forget Ron’s daring attempt that started the case, and grouped the detectives together.
“Oh Mr. Duke I’m so glad you asked” Ron said out loud, as he played his redneck persona, “What happened that day, it just boils my blood just thinking about it. Who do those colored folk think they are? Am I right?” Watching the others laugh silently, you could not help but stifle a grin.
“My sister?”
Ron began, suddenly in the mist of thinking, “Pamela? Oh she’s doing great ...” he said, making you furrow your brows with confusion, “In fact, she is dying to talk to you, Sir!” Just like the others, you were very confused. Even more so when Ron was looking directly at you. “You would?” He said, “Aww that would be mighty kind of you sir, let me just grab her” Covering the phone, he sat up, forcing everyone to direct their attention to you.
“Get over here” he mouthed at you. Your eyes widened.
“What?” You mouthed back. Snapping his finger, Flip finally understood what Ron was trying to do. You finally got up as you watched him walk towards you.
“Do it!” Flip said softly.
“Do what?” You asked with genuine confusion while walking with him to Ron’s desk.
“Come on! We’ve seen you do that impression” Ron whispered. He was right. To kill boredom, you would occasionally do an impression of Pamela, Ron’s imaginary sister who claimed to have been accosted by coloreds. You only did it for fun. Never did you think for once it was an audition, and now you were offered the part.
“What? But that’s just crazy” you said.
“This...would be perfect for us. This is gonna help us a lot” Flip said, looking at you. His words did not pressure you. Instead they gently convinced you to see the logic behind all this. Ron’s eyes gleamed as you sighed and took the phone. “H-Hello?” You answered with a raised voice, “Oh my word...is this really Mr. Duke?” You feigned surprise, letting out an excited laughter. You played along in this game with an unexpected confidence. And Duke seemed to have bought it “Can I just say what an honor it is to hear your voice, Sir!”
Excitement was evident in Ron’s face, while the Sergeant looked surprised. But none of that mattered to you when you saw Flip’s look of admiration, hidden in his face in the form of a small smile.
Grabbing the phone from you, Ron gave you a thumbs up, as he continued the conversation.“Mr. Duke, this is Ron again...” he began, “As much as my sister would love to talk, she’s busy making dinner. Hehe...yes sir...” he said, his voice growing softer “... women sure do belong in the kitchen”
He added, shooting a teasing look at you, watching you roll your eyes and the others silently snigger. But halfway through, you saw Ron’s eyes widen.
“Oh! Really?” He said, “Wow I’d be honored sir. Thank you! Alright, You have a lovely evening too”
Hanging up, everyone held their breath until he finally spoke.
“Well...the big guy’s even more impressed, thanks to you” he said, pointing at you, “...Walter’s gonna give me a call with the meeting details for tonight...Flip, get ready for a Cross Burning” Ron said, setting his gaze over at Zimmerman, who merely nodded. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
“Y/N...what are you still doing here? Go home. I’ll drop you“
Jimmy may have teased you earlier, but he always had cared for you like a sibling. Hence he was surprised to still find you at the office around midnight.
“No Jim it’s okay...” you said, whilst stifling a yawn, “...got some reports to finish up anyway”
Truthfully, with your experience, finishing up paperwork was easy as pie. But the reason that kept you from leaving had no relation to any form of paperwork whatsoever.
With Flip and Ron out meeting the clan for the Cross Burning, you could not help but worry for Flip’s safety. Tonight especially, more than you ever did before.
Sure, Ron would be there to look out, for him. You knew he had his back. But worrying was never correlated with logic.
With Paperwork completed, You searched for petty excuses to hang around. Anything to keep yourself occupied until you could see him walk in through the door, alive and well.
With your eyelids getting heavy, you were tempted to close them, drifting into sleep. Maybe just 10 minutes, you thought. With your head on the table, you let the exhaustion take charge.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
The subtle creaking noises of furniture woke you. Opening your eyes slowly, you sensed that morning had dawned already. The office was empty.
And Flip was standing before you.
Relief washing over you like cool water over one’s face, you quickly covered your mouth to wipe away any form of saliva you had. Embarrassingly, you greeted him with a sleepy smile. “The burning went well I’m guessing?”
“Yep...” he said, “although too much burning for my taste”
You sniffed the hot coffee in the air, which got stronger as he handed you a cup full of it.
“Figured You’d need a good wake up” he said, as you accepted it. “Yeah I do, with the accidental sleeping” you chuckled, taking a sip.
“Yeah, plus you...snore” Flip said, finally giving up to sniggers. You dropped your jaw in shock. “What? I do? Oh no...”You cried out frustratingly, laughing alongside him, “...was I loud ?” You asked in a whisper.
“No...” he said, sitting on your desk, “...of course not”
“Oh good” Shaking your head in disbelief, you casually took off the hairpins off your messy head, letting the cascade of hair flow over your shoulders.
“Wait...” Flip said, “...you got uh...” Reaching out, he casually brushed a strand of hair off your face, which did not alarm you. For all the times you’ve waited for him to do this, you were secretly ecstatic. The moment eyes locked in each other’s, his hand did not leave. Instead his thumb grazed over your left temple. The way he stopped by your cheek, seemed to be a physical way of seeking permission. And your unaffected silence was your consent.
His touch comforted you, and for a man of his stature he was as gentle as he could be. As much as you were silent and welcoming, you wanted to make your intentions clearer. You took a daring risk the moment thumb brushed over your mouth. Pressing your lips against his finger, you embraced it with adoration, making sure he could feel it to the inner core.
And within seconds, your risk was deemed worthy the moment he moved towards you, quickly kissing you on the lips.
A sense of unrealized fulfillment came over you as you kissed Flip Zimmerman. You were excited, invigorated and intoxicated at the same time.
Pulling away, deep breaths were exchanged as foreheads were placed together. “Pretty...” Flip blurted out shyly, “....you look pretty with your hair down” he said, with his fingers tangled in your loose hair. You chuckled. “Thanks...” you said, placing the coffee cup on the table, “....you should see me in my normal clothes..” you joked, “I look much better “ you added with a smile. Flip’s eyes grew warm.
“Yeah I should...” He smiled back, “...maybe when we grab a bite sometime...”
Overjoyed, you kissed him once again with even more enthusiasm, grateful for the overtime work shift that made all this possible. ——————————————————

Saudade: 8.5 See You Again Pt. 2
Kageyama x Reader Social Media AU
Status: ongoing
TW: swearing, might be some nsfw jokes?
Taglist: open! (send an ask to be added)
masterlist for this smau here!
playlist!
saudade: a nostalgic longing to be near again to something or someone that is distant, or that has been loved and then lost; “the love that remains”
Y/N Oikawa, Toru Oikawa’s baby sister, manager of the Aoba Johsai Volleyball Club, stand-in libero, spiker, blocker, setter, and Tobio “The King of the Court” Kageyama’s former best friend. After Kageyama replaces your childhood friendship with volleyball, you vow to forget all about him. However, you forget three very important things: 1.) You won’t be able to avoid Kageyama forever 2.) Kageyama wants you back in his life and 3.) Tobio Kageyama will do anything to get what he wants.
Y/n’s texts are in light mode, Kageyama’s are in dark mode!
a/n: not super thrilled with how this part turned out, but whatever 🤷🏻♀️ I hope you all are having a wonderful day, thank you for reading💖
You weren’t thrilled about the game today, even though Kio spent hours last night and this morning reassuring you that everything was going to be okay. You opened up more about your failed friendship with Kageyama, even going as far as telling Kio your recent feelings about rekindling your old friendship. Kio, in his blunt way of telling you things, suggesting talking to Kageyama at the game, which you immediately shot down. It wasn’t that you didn’t want to speak to him, you just didn’t know how to. Because really, how do you go up to someone you haven’t talked to in years and suggest becoming friends again, especially after shutting them down? How do you bridge the gap in those years where you didn’t dare speak a word to each other? How do you tell someone that you missed them and were afraid you would never be a part of their life again? How do you even get back into their life to begin with?
It was all too much for you to ponder, especially with today’s game. Toru was being uncharacteristically nice, and Iwa of all people even suggested dinner after the game. You guessed they were worried that this game would be a repeat of the last one, but who the hell knew what was going on in their heads?
You followed Toru into the gym, glad that this game was at least on your home turf. If it really came down to it, you could hide in the club room or even walk home. You were also thankful for the fact that Karasuno wouldn’t be arriving for at least another thirty minutes, giving you time to get settled and ready for the game.
You pulled your phone out, smiling when you saw a text from Kio. You didn’t know when his game was today, but you figured it was earlier this morning, as most Sunday games were early. This game was an exception, as the coaches apparently wanted an afternoon game instead. You typed out a quick reply, mentally noting to ask Kio how his game went later.
Toru came by and scolded you for being on your phone instead of filling water bottles like a “good manager”. You simple rolled your eyes and chucked a ball at him, huffing as you grabbed the bottles. Twenty minutes passed as you finished your pre-game prep, and soon Karasuno arrived. You snuck away to the club room, avoiding giving Kageyama time to catch you before the game. You sent a quick text to Kio, asking how his game went, before Toru found you hiding and dragged you to the gym.
The first set passed quickly, with Karasuno taking it. Toru was starting to get annoyed, and you had to shake him around a bit before the next set began. You checked your phone for a reply from Kio, but saw that there wasn’t one. Weird. He normally replied right away. It had been an hour since your last text. You send a quick “hope you’re having a good day!” before putting your phone away and prepping for the next set.
The second set went to Aoba Johsai, thankfully cheering up Toru a bit. It didn’t last long, however, as Karasuno stole the last one as well. You sighed, knowing this was going to result in another mess for you to clean up. Whenever he lost, Toru always got moody, which meant all your attention was focused on him, to prevent anyone provoking him. This also meant that you were stuck in the gym with the boys, and couldn’t hide in the club room to avoid Kageyama like you originally planned.
You did have to admit that he played incredibly well today, better than last time. He must’ve gotten over your harsh rejection. You glanced his way as you refilled water bottles, seeing him already looking at you. Shit. You quickly returned to your task, cheeks heating. Why did he have to be so cute? Wait. What the fuck. Stop. No. I do not think he’s cute. You shook your head, hoping that might get the thoughts out of your head. You looked back over, but he wasn’t there. Fuck. Was he going to try to talk to you again? You glanced around. Wait, over there. He was with Shoyo, thank god.
Finally, the teams stopped mingling and got ready to leave. Toru was still his moody self, telling Iwa that he didn’t want to go to dinner because he was just so sad. You rolled your eyes at that. Great, now he’s gonna barge into my room, beg for attention, and make me listen to his sad music with him. Hopefully you could get out of his usual five hour “post-loss self-care” routine, but you doubted it.
You began to pack your things, mentally noting that Kageyama hadn’t approached you at all today. You weren’t quite sure how to feel about it. And what was with Kio not responding? You still hadn’t heard from him. You shot him another text before meeting up with Toru to begin the short walk home.
Kageyama and Kio not talking to you? Weird.
8.0 Game Time! Pt. 2 - 8.5 See You Again Pt. 2 - 9.0 Sad Boi Hours
saudade masterlist!
FUN FACTS:
Kageyama wanted to approach y/n, but ultimately decided not to.
Oikawa’s post-loss self-care routine consists of sad music, a bath, face masks, a manicure, movie marathon, making tiktoks, and baking.
Iwa is fed up with Oikawa’s moodiness and bullied him for rescinding his dinner invite.
Kageyama is happy about the win, but not perfectly content because he didn’t get to talk to y/n.
Y/n is worried that Kio is mad at her. (poor bb🥺)

Rating: 18+, explicit

Word Count: ~3.9k
Creator’s Note: It's @ficforthought's fault. That's all I can say in my defense.
Jack chuckled, face burning red and his heart racing. Adrenaline flushed all trough his body. Was he really doing that? Right now? Here? On a case? But there was no hesitation, only arousal and he couldn't say no to Sam. Ever.
Sam smirked, placing kisses on Jack's neck and having his hands under Jack's shirt already. „It's fine, trust me“, he purred. „It will be fine, honey.“
„Hah but Sam... when Dean finds out, and he will-“, Jack drew a sharp breath when Sam's big hands, his big and warm hands wandered across his hips and further down in Jack's pants.
„Kiss me, honey.“ Sam's words made Jack shiver in anticipation. He looked up in Sam's hazel eyes and leaned into a kiss. First it was soft and gentle but soon Sam wrapped his hands around Jack's middle, holding him close. Jack escaped a soft moan and that's when they got to hold each other tight, hands tracing fabric and trying to sneak under several layers. „Good“, Sam whispered on Jack's trembling lips. „Dean taught you quite a lot already...“ Jack blushed and buried his face in his caretaker's flannel. „He did...“, he finally muttered. „More, Sam... please...“
Sam wasn't surprised that Jack wanted more. He was eager and curious and horny. For a kid that should barely be old to go to school. But he had ages so fast, and his mind matured so quickly it was hard to keep track. But what was a kid like Jack without the practical experiences? He knew nothing about the world but seemed like an adult already. Appearances are often deceiving. And Sam was more than willing to give Jack more. Everything.
That's why Sam didn't hesitate. He kissed Jack again, parted his lips and moaned silently into the kiss. Echoing Jack's soft and shaky moans.
„You gotta be fuckin' kiddin' me right now!“
When Jack and Sam heard Dean's voice, loud and clear both jumped in surprise and fright.
„We're on a case and you have nothing better to do than... make out? In a dark alley? Really, Sam?“
So far Dean's voice didn't really sound surprised neither disappointed. But there was an edge in it and Sam knew it. Jack wasn't used to it until now that's why he turned around, his face deep red and his voice high pitched.
„Sorry Dean, I... we – we umm...“ Jack lifted his shoulders helplessly.
„You what, kitten?“ Dean came closer. His suit was open, tie loosened. The word kitten sent a tingle down Jack's spine and he was still insecure on how to act when Dean used it. No one else but those three seemed to be around. There was traffic nearby and the humming made Jack feel dizzy.
„I'm sorry, we didn't mean to. It just...!“ Jack shot a look at Sam, but his partner didn't seem to make any effort to help in this situation.
And Sam really didn't intend to help. It was part of their game. Sam's and Dean's. Their relationship has gained a new perspective when Jack entered the couple and they became a triad. All of this here was consensual, Jack loved the thrill. And the slight embarassment. And when Dean used his nickname for Jack it was more than clear that it was an invitation for all three to play. Instead of helping, Sam showed a smug grin and laid a hand in Jack's back, pushing forward.
„We couldn't help it, Dean. Jack wants me, what can I say? I just gave him what he wanted.“
Jack stiffened and then gave Sam a grudging look. „And what about you?!“
Sam just pushed him further towards Dean. And Dean now looked at Sam, eyes playfully narrowed. Sam knew the look. He wouldn't get away easily, too. But he was more experienced than Jack and he knew what he wanted. „Gave him what he wanted, huh?“
Dean's green eyes focused on Sam. He squared his shoulders, showing off that he maybe was shorter than Sam, but definitely the dominant one here.
„Yes“, Sam replied, still maintaining eye contact.
And when Dean finally stood in front of them, Sam seemed to look smaller now. And Jack felt dizzy, breathless. And feeling the tension built up, he wanted to cling onto Sam and beg first Sam then Dean to do whatever they liked.
„Seems to be both of you act like cats in heat. Don't put all the blame on the kitten. He's barely able to control himself.“
Dean was so close now, Jack could smell his perfume. He gasped and looked up to Dean, pleading. „I'm so sorry...“ He said, but Dean laid a finger on his open mouth. „Shh, kitten. You know you messed up, right?“
Jack nodded, holding back tears of embarassment. „I know. And you know what happens when you mess up, right? I have to punish you.“
Jack nodded again. Now supressing a sob. Dean's thumb gently rubbed over Jack's lower lip before he laid his hand on Jack's throat. He didn't try to choke Jack, not at all. It was a gesture of dominance, of 'you know where you belong, kitten' and Jack shivered. Dean placed his other hand on Sam's throat, but he was less gentle with his brother. Sam gulped but let it happen.
„And you, … baby. You should've known better. What did I say about giving in to kitten's attempts to seduce you, hmm? Tell me.“
Sam's voice was a whisper. „I have to ask for permission, master...“
Now it was Sam, signalling he interpreted the situation as playful. He gave Jack an assuring look.
„Did you ask for permission, baby?“
Sam wanted to shake his head but Dean's grip around his throat was tightening when he tried. He then said, sighing „No I didn't, master.“
Dean's eyes lightened up. He let go of both his partners and turned around.
„Seems like my needy boys will need a lesson in obedience. To the car. Both of you. Now.“
Jack gave Sam a look and then whispered. „You did this on puporse, Sam!“
Sam's answer was a chuckle and when he got to the car, following Dean he chirped „Thank me later.“
The car ride was silent and Dean had abandoned both of them to the back seat. Always back checking the mirror if his partners would start grabbing each other again.
But Jack was heavily intimidated by Dean's dominant persona, he didn't even dare to look at Sam. It was thrilling and embarassing at the same time and Jack was still getting used to all of it. In all his uneasiness of the situation he enjoyed the attention of Dean and Sam equally. Sam however was kind of a brat type and liked to tease Dean's dark side. He actively initiated atmospheres of sexual tension, like in the alley. It was Sam's need for Dean's attention. Even when the attention meant punishment later.
Back at the bunker, Dean let Sam and Jack lead the way to their shared rooms deep down the halls. And when they entered their sleeping room, Dean closed the door with a loud thud.
Jack jumped at the noise and turnt around just to see Dean taking off his tie with one smooth but sudden move. „You messed up, kitten. And you know I hate punishing you.“ Jack whimpered at the sight. Sam was suspiciously silent. „I- I'm sorry... daddy...“ Jack then managed to say, his voice husky.
„No more words, kitten. Get naked. Both of you.“
Sam's movements were sly while Jack struggled to undress himself the way Dean liked it. First their shirts, then pants, underwear. Socks. Sam always folded his clothes and put them on a chair nearby and since Jack learned from him, he did the same. Dean looked over to them supervising them. When Sam and Jack were completely naked, Dean ordered „kneel.“
Jack got down on his knees, sitting on heels, head up, hands on his thighs. Palms pointed upwards. Sam did the same. It was fascinating for Jack to see Sam like this. Sam was usually a warrior, like Dean. And he never let anyone boss him around. Except Dean. In this room.
„Good. Stay.“
And then Dean left the room. Jack knew that Dean would now shower and get ready for what was about to come. He would let his submissives wait, like usual. And while in Jack a lot of emotions drove a rollercoaster, Sam was perfectly calm. Jack sometimes envied Sam for his calmness, he knew it was learned. After years of servitude. And Sam and Dean were into much heavier kink than Jack and they wouldn't let him accompany them in harder sessions. Yet.
Jack's knees and heels started hurting but he knew he had to hold still. He didn't even dare to breathe loudly as long as Dean wasn't back and allowed him to move.
It took Dean at least half an hour to come back and by now Jack felt numb and itchy everywhere, while Sam had gotten in a trance like state. He even smiled, while he looked down at his own palms that laid perfectly still on Sam's thighs.
Dean closed the door again with a loud thud. He was in a new suit, it smelled of fresh cotton and Dean's deodorant.
„Did kitten behave?“ Dean asked. Sam didn't look up, just whispered „Yes, Master.“
Jack always felt belittled when Dean talked like Jack wasn't there but it was part of their game and deep down he loved how both cared about him. In their own ways.
„Get up. Only Sam.“ And Sam stood up, mumbling a devoted „Yes, Master.“
Because he wasn't given permission to look up, Jack only could hear the rustling of the sheets when Sam got on the bed. The following sounds weren't new to Jack either. It was the clattering of handcuffs. Dean and Sam had a silent conversation and all Jack could identify was Sam's sub voice and Dean's gentle praise. „You're such a good boy tonight, Sammy. You're sorry you disobeyed, huh?“ It sounded like a mother soothing its child and Jack felt a jolt of arousal when he overheard their communication. He wanted to be on this bed so badly himself.
„Kitten? Get up. Come here.“
Jack couldn't get up as fast as he wanted to. And when he looked over to the king size bed, Sam laid on his back, arms tied together with one of Dean's belts to the brass bed frame. Sam was clearly aroused, his cock hard and already leaking pre-cum. And Dean still fully dressed, besides the missing belt, stood in front of the bed, seemingly desinterested in Sam's appearance. Jack's stomach twisted in the best way.
Slowly he approached Dean, now looking down, obviously aroused at Sam's sight. And Sam looked at Jack, with teary, hungry eyes.
„I decided, now that you two can't get even keep your hands off each other on a case, I will punish you, by... well, you see. See how badly Sammy wants you? Look.“ Dean reached down and slowly, teasingly jerked Sam's cock. Sam thrusted in Dean's palm, desperately, panting slightly. „He's so needy to feel your tight little hole around his cock, he would probably accept any punishment by now... just to have it.“ Jack looked at Dean's moving hand. Mesmerized. And Dean's words only made it harder for Jack to contain his own needy whines.
Dean stopped jerking Sam and looked over to Jack, whose eyes grew wider and wider. „But... we all know both of you don't deserve it. You embarassed me. Both of you. Someone could've seen you!“
Jack muttered „I'm sorry, De-- daddy... I didn't mean to..“. But he knew his words wouldn't change anything by now.
„Hush, kitten. Get on top of Sam.“
With shaking legs Jack climbed onto the bed and he was about to spread his legs over Sam's cock to let him in when Dean got a grip of Jack's hair and pulled. Just slightly, but enough for Jack to whimper and moan and stop in his movements.
„What. Did. I. Say? Did I allow you to fuck my brother?“
„N-no daddy...“ Jack whimpered, tears in his eyes.
„Exactly. I didn't. I said, get on top of him. Place your head on his chest, lie down on him, legs spread, let your knees carry your weight. And then spread your cute little hole for me and I'll think about what I will do to you.“ Jack buried his face on Sam's neck as he did what Dean wanted him to do. When he placed himself he could feel his cock rubbing against Sam's and both gasped a little. Sam's heartbeat wasn't that steady now, his heart pounded hard and fast against Jack's sensitive skin. It was embarassing to spread his legs, lower his body on Sam's and then, with his hands, spread his butt cheeks apart. Jack could feel his hole clench and loosen again. It was humiliating to be upon Sam like this and showing Dean how needy he was.
„Look at that your greedy hole, kitten.“ Dean purred. Jack couldn't see what Dean was doing, he still hid his face on Sam's chest but he felt Dean's warm hand on his skin, cupping his buttcheek and then, a gentle slap. Jack gasped. Damn.
„And you wanted Sammy to fuck you right?“
Jack nodded. „Yes, daddy... I wanted Sam to fuck me in that alley... I was ready for it, daddy...“
„And you wouldn't have asked for permission first, would you?“
When Dean talked like that he sounded like a satisfied, full lion, rolling on his back to let the sun shine on his fur. It was silky and warm and oh so dangerous to hear him talk like that.
There was no denying it, so Jack replied with a shaky voice. „No, daddy... I wouldn't have asked for permission... I was so desperate for Sam's big cock I.. I can't resist...“
Sam beneath Jack uttered a moan. And Dean laughed. „You two are really needy. So fucking needy.“ Another gentle slap on Jack's ass.
„Oh God“, he moaned. Just fuck me already...
„You can't wait for it, kitten?“ Dean laughed again. Rough now. And his hand disappeared. Instead Jack heard how Dean pulled down the zipper of his pants. And then – Jack almost cried in anticipation, he felt Dean's hard throbbing cock teasing Jack's hole.
„No, I can't daddy... I really can't.“
„Is that an appropriate punishment, kitten? Sammy? Fucking him on top of you and all you can do is … watch?“
Sam's chest was humming when he answered. „Yes, Master... ugh, it's appropriate.“
Dean sounded very pleased. „Yes I think so, too. Next time maybe, I will tie your feet to the bedhead also, what do you think? You're flexible enough and then I can freely choose which hole to fuck first...“
Jack got dizzy by the image of Dean fucking him on top of Sam and then switching in between.
„Open wide, kitten. Don't loosen your grip. I want to see your hungry hole clench...“
And Jack opened as wide as possible. Dean rubbed his cock over Jack's butt over and over, teasing his anus, gently pushing without thrusting inside. And Jack knew how much Dean liked begging. So he begged. „Please daddy, fill my hole, I can't wait any longer... I need you inside me.“
Another rough chuckle. „Hear that, baby? Jack is so hungry for my cock now. I wonder which he likes better. Yours... or … mine?“
All Jack could do now was whimper and push his ass in Dean's direction, desperately wanting him to finally, finally fuck him into oblivion.
„Both!“, he cried. „I want both!“
Dean clicked his tongue. „Tssssk, kitten. Not now. Not yet.“
And that's when Dean let some lube drip on Jack's hole. And then, Jack felt Dean's tip push in. Slowly first. Dean's strong fingers digging in Jack's sensitive flesh when he grabbed Jack's ass and pulled him closer.
It was painful, but not even close to something Jack wouldn't like. He liked how it felt, how tight he was around Dean's cock. It was delicious. Dean pushed Jack's hands away and ordered „Support yourself.“ His voice was a hiss now, words spoken through gritted teeth. „Support yourself and look into Sam's eyes. Let him see how much you enjoy getting impaled by my cock. Show him what a slut you are!“
And Jack did it. His forearms beside Sam's head he looked down on his partner, while sobbing and moaning in joy.
Jack could tell how much Sam liked watching him get fucked by Dean. „Good kitten...“, Dean growled while thrusting into Jack. „Daddy!“, Jack cried while he felt how Dean kept hitting deep and hard and... ohh his sweet spot. Jack knew he couldn't come like this, not yet, but he knew he'd learn also that. Between their grinding cocks Jack felt how he and Sam leaked a lot of pre-cum. Jack quivered and panted in pleasure, feeling Dean getting even bigger inside him and in his urge to please his daddy, Jack clenched his hole as hard as he could.
Dean's hand gently pulled Jack's hair and when his thrusts turned wild, harder and Dean started growling Jack's name all Jack could do was push against Deans hips, finding a rhythm and make Dean cum.
„Such a good... boy“, Dean panted and with a final hard, almost brutal thrust Dean came inside Jack. For a second he froze, Jack felt hot cum pumping inside his body and then Dean hit himself through the aftershocks and then let go of Jack's hair and his ass. Gently and still breathing heavily Dean rubbed Jack's back and placed a kiss between his shoulders.
„You took it so good, kitten. So very good.“
The praise let Jack smile and sigh in relief. Sam under him squirmed and gently rocked his hips against Jack's.
„And now that both of you got what they deserve, I will show some mercy. Kitten, untie Sammy. Keep my cum inside, don't waste it.“ Jack nodded, got up and clenched as hard as he could to keep Dean's juice inside while he untied Sam's restraints. Dean watched them, still a little shaky, sweat glistening on his forehead.
Sam rubbed his ankles slightly but stayed where he was, since Dean hadn't allowed him to get up. Jack didn't get up as well, he looked over to Dean who just closed his zipper again and then showed Jack what to do.
„Now you may sit on Sam's cock a little. You're open wide, you're lubed, it shouldn't hurt. Now, get it on. Show me how badly you still need it.“ Jack shivered at the words, and mumbled a tiny „thank you, daddy“ looking at Dean with big blue eyes.
And then Jack lowered himself on Sam's member and he moaned in ecstacy and satisfaction to finally feel Sam too.
„Hold him steady.“ Dean said to Sam as Dean himself got on the bed himself, sat behind Jack and held his shoulders. „Relax, lean against me, spread your legs, show Sam your beautiful body, will you, kitten?“
Jack gasped when let himself fall against Dean's broad chest and looked out for support. Dean placed Jack's hand on his thighs. The fabric of Dean's pants was rough but that was helping a lot. And then Jack started moving, Sam held his hips in place and Jack leaned onto Dean, let his head fall against his dom's shoulder.
„Good boy, you're doing so well. Show Sam how I taught you to ride a man like him, would you? Make daddy proud, kitten..“
Jack moaned and cried while bouncing on Sam's big and broad cock. He felt full. Greedy. Needy for an orgasm. As Dean would know what was going on in Jack's mind he wrapped a hand around Jack's cock and started jerking him. Now Jack felt how Sam moved inside him and Dean's firm hand around his cock. It was too much. He couldn't handle all of it. „I'm gonna cum, daddy..“ Jack pressed his head against Dean's chest. „May I cum, daddy,... please please please...“
Dean's hand stopped jerking for a second but then he whispered in Jack's ear „Of course, sweetheart. Cum when you need to... You're so good... I need to see you cum all over Sammy's belly. Can you do that? Shoot a big load for me. Yes?“
All Jack could do was nod. Sam's grip around Jack's slender hips tightened and he thrusted harder into Jack's now gaping hole... after being fucked by Dean and now by Sam there was no way for him to clench any tighter.
Jack felt the orgasm rushing towards him, how his insides started clenching and when Dean's hand and Sam's thrusts went frantic, Jack couldn't hold it anymore. He came all over Sam's belly and chest even reaching up to Sam's jaw. Sam also came a second afterwards, thrusting his and Dean's cum back into Jack. It was a mess of cries and moans, shivers and aftershocks. Jack leaned against Dean, eyes closed, panting.
Satisfied, full, happy. Sam's grip had left pink marks on Jack's hips but nothing too bad. No bruises. Never.
Dean held Jack close, mumbling sweet everythings in his ear. „Good boy... so good...“ he stroke over Jack's damp hair, brushed a tear away. It took Jack couple of minutes to calm down enough to respond. He laid his hand upon Dean's, looked up to his caretaker and smiled. It was a lazy, crooked smile. A sign how happy Jack was. And how he let himself go. „Thank you“, he mumbled. Leaving it to interpretation if he meant Sam or Dean or both. Dean thought, it was probably both.
„Come on, I'll help you get up.“ And Dean helped Jack to get off of Sam and then bedded the Nephil beside his brother. Dean got out of his pants and shirt and accompanied his partners. Sam was the big spoon, as usual, Jack in the middle and Dean the big one.
„I need to shower“, Jack mumbled against Sam's back. Dean let his fingers comb through Jack's hair. All three slightly chuckled.
„Later... let's cuddle for a sec“, Dean then suggested. „You good, sweetheart?“
Jack nodded. „Yes, Dee... i'm good. Better than good.“
Dean kissed Jack's shoulder. And after a moment Sam turned around and kissed Jack's forehead, then his lips. Jack leaned into Sam's affectonate kisses and caresses.
„Thank you“, Jack whispered on Sam's lips.
„Told you“, Sam replied and placed another kiss on Jack's face.
The triad let the minutes of bliss go by, just cuddles and kisses and praising each other. Jack felt endlessly loved by these two men and he couldn't think of better boyfriends to have. Ever.
And then, with a stiffled laugh, Dean whispered into the room. „By the way, I killed the monster before I found you two making out. In case you were wondering.“
Jack knew he had forgotten about something.

♡ masterpost ♡
“With that being said, congratulations to the class of 2013 for graduating.” The lengthy speech given by the principal marks the end of the Nekoma third year students’ high school career.
Kenma Kozume, a second year who was watching the ceremony suddenly felt wetness on top of his hands that he had rested on his lap. He tilts his head up to see if there was a leak from the gymnasium’s ceiling but instead felt the droplets run from each side of his cheeks and down the sides of his neck.
“Dramatic much?” Kenma brings his head back down to face a certain black haired third year holding a scroll. He wipes his tears hastily before scowling a muffled “shut up” to the older boy.
The two walks home in similar manners like before. Just like how they used to come home for the last ten years of their lives. Walking in a slow pace with their shoes grazing against the concrete road but this time instead of Kuroo’s comments and Kenma’s low effort replies, it’s being filled with silence and occasional sniffles. Kuroo isn’t the type of guy to get awkward at the sight of silence, especially not with his best friend, but at this time, he didn’t know what to say. And when the two get closer and closer to their shared neighbourhood and Kenma’s footsteps abruptly stops while his sniffles get louder, Kuroo truly feels cornered.
Kenma, to begin with, never really showed his emotions on his sleeve so when he shows this side to the world once in a millennium, even a childhood friend can feel clueless. Does he make witty comments? Will that make it better or worse? Does he hug him? Knowing Kenma, he would probably beat the shit out of Kuroo.
But as the former volleyball captain watchs the setter burst into genuine tears, his body instinctively drops his belongings on the ground and rushes to engulf the smaller boy’s body. Realising that Kenma isn’t being the normal Kenma, he lets go of his worries of getting jabbed in the stomach by him.
“W-why are you hugging me.” He says sloppily, tears staining the taller’s shirt. “My body moved on it’s own.” Kuroo replies truthfully, letting Kenma bury his face into his chest.
He pats the setter’s back soothingly and allows him to stay in this position for as long as he wants. Kuroo allows himself to take the opportunity to twirl the bleached blonde hair with his fingers, something he always wanted to do ever since Kenma dyed his hair a year ago. It was unexpectedly soft for someone who has little to no cares about his appearance. As Kuroo expects, he says nothing but continues to weep into Kuroo’s shirt. A smile creeps up his face as he enjoys this rare side of his childhood best friend.
He sighs as he rests his chin on top of the younger’s head. “You know I won’t be moving out right? I’ll still hang out with you every weekend.” He chuckles. The setter pulls his head away from his chest for the first time to meet the older’s eyes with his teary ones. “Really? You promise?” His voice shaky and hoarse. The hopeful tone in his voice makes Kuroo sigh happily. “I promise.” He replies.
“C’mon! Lets get home.” He ends, patting the boy’s head before sliding down to grab his wrist. “Don’t touch my head.” Kenma mumbles bitterly as he reverts to his normal self, drying his face with his free arm. The scent of his best friend still lingering even when he had pulled away moments ago.
“Well, see you later.” Kuroo smiles at his sniffling friend as they arrive at the younger’s house. “See you.” He mumbles back before rushing into his own home.
Contrary to Kenma’s thoughts, he did see Kuroo again. They hung out nearly every other day for the entirety of the break they had before school started for the two of them. They spent most of the time in one of their homes and bedrooms playing video games but the two were more than acquainted with this routine. Afterall, befriending Kenma comes with a set of rules that involves the outdoors.
Kuroo turns around to laugh at his friend once again. “Were you always like this when I graduated ahead?” He grins as the wind from the coming train breezes through his hair as he stands in front of an unfamiliar platform. He expected a bitter comment from Kenma but instead watches him bury half his face into the scarf wrapped around his neck.
“You should go, don’t want you to be late on your first day of your third year right?” Kuroo smirks, patting the silent boy on the shoulder. The train on Kuro’s platform rushes through in front of the two before coming to a stop. The gates open and he immediately marchs in but gets unexpectedly restrained from the setter’s grasp. The younger boy had his head lowered, only showing his black roots to Kuro, his pale fist balled up with the corner of Kuroo’s jacket.
“See you this Saturday.” He announces to which the setter raises his head in surprise at the sudden promise made. His hand lets go of the university student’s jacket and allows him to board the train before walking alone to the platform he usually walked side by side with the older boy.
Months passed by quicker than the two had anticipated. And just as the two promised each other, both Kuroo and Kenma still hang out with each other routinely every weekend. Kuroo certainly doesn't mind hanging out with Kenma every weekend. While university is fun and new, having to go through the wildness and chaos for five days a week is more than enough for him. And he thought his volleyball club back in high school was chaotic.
The black haired boy was walking through the shopping district when he feels a buzz in his pocket.
Kenma: Are you not coming?
He chuckles lightly to himself at his friend’s text.
Kuroo: I am.
Kuroo: Just had to grab a few things for my old man.
Kuroo: be there in twenty
He slides his phone back in his pocket after he sees a content “ok” hand emoji sent by Kenma. He hoists the bags up in his arms, bracing them for a run back home before he sees a familiar mohawk and a tall russian boy.
“Yamamoto! Lev!” He calls out from across the street with a big grin on his face. He planned to be one of those alumni who stop by the school one too many times and observe the club to see how they were doing but university life was far more hectic than he predicted.
“Kuroo-san!” The two yell out in unison, scrambling across the road to greet their former captain. Kuroo takes a second to scan the current captain and future ace with a proud smile on his face. “Are you going to Kenma’s?” Yamamoto grins cheekily.
“How’d you know?” Kuroo asks back in curiosity.
“Man, how could we not know? All he does is talk about you! Kuro this, Kuro that. Man, you keep haunting us even after graduation huh?” Yamamoto grins cheekily at the Nekoma alumni, swinging his own shopping bag on top of his shoulder.
Kuroo smiles warmly. He was never the type to be a self-absorbed captain like Bokuto or Seijoh’s Oikawa but he did find it nice that he and his hard work isn’t forgotten by the younger generation.
“But Kuroo-san! You’d never believe what happened to Kenma-san th-” Lev enthusiastically shoves Yamamoto to the side , overbearing with excitement before Yamamoto shoves him back to his place with a scowl on his face. “Idiot, he's probably the first one to know about this.” scoffs while Kuroo looks completely lost.
“What happened with Kenma?” He raises his brow at the two squabbling high schoolers.
“Kuro!”
Flustered with the sudden yell, Kuroo throws the manga he was holding in his hand up in the air. “Y-Yes?” He croaks out, grasping his fastly beating chest on the floor beside the bed. Kenma retreats from peeking from the edge to settling back to the corner of his bed before replying, “You’ve stayed at that page for five minutes straight now. Did you forget how to read?” He says in a monotone voice, his eyes already immersed back into the video game he had on the game console. Kuroo fumbles with his word to reply back with a wittily but ultimately had nothing to say. Knowing Kenma for most of his life, he knew he had already catched on.
“What’s wrong, Kuro.” The anticipated question finally came. Kuroo turns to meet the boy’s eyes but unable to as the other’s is being glued onto the screen of his phone. He crawls up on the bed to lie in front of Kenma casually and takes a long big sigh before speaking. “So, Um, what’s up with school? Is third year rough without me tutoring you every lunch period?” Kuroo’s mouth was dry but still persevered. “Nothing special, classes are fine, I eat lunch with Tora and Fukunaga now and the new first years are okay I guess.” He lists down, still occupied with the game he fiddles with his fingers.
Kuroo looks at his friend’s face in anticipation, watching his lips for any slight movement but Kenma’s mouth didn’t part.
“That’s it?”
“That’s it.”
Kuroo lies down on his back to see Kenma’s plain white ceiling. From first glance, it seemed ordinary and pristine but the longer one would look at it, anyone could see tiny black cracks that have formed in the corners of the white space from being lived in for too long.
Though it should be fine for now.
“Kuro, you’re acting weird. Just spill it out.” Kenma says out of frustration, even turning his phone off in the process. His cat-like eyes were now onto Kuroo’s ones which are now averting his gaze, choosing the ceiling instead.
Kuroo debates with his thoughts silently as he eyes the cracks on the ceiling but gives in to his curiosity. “So, who’s Kyoka-chan?” He tries to pass it off as calm and cool, adding a small series of snickers at the end of his question.
Kenma groans and buries his face in his hands at the presence of the girl’s name who is unfamiliar to Kuroo’s ears. “Izumi Kyoka, a girl from Tora’s class, She- Wait, how do you know about her anyways?” His speech got increasingly faster as each word left his mouth. Kuroo can tell he was trying to keep his cool but his bewildered eyes says otherwise.
“Yamamoto and Lev. I er..bumped into them before I went here.” Kuroo replies truthfully, getting another groan from the blonde setter who is in agony. “So, she confessed to you?” He finishes Kenma’s words for him, seeing as though Kenma would probably never complete them as he is busy with coming up with a plan when he meets his two teammates on Monday.
“Yeah. Said she started liking me because I returned her lost textbook once or something...I don’t really remember doing it though.” He explains in a low voice. Kuroo sits up straight as he sighs lightly, “So what did you say? When are you going on a date?” He playfully pats Kenma on the shoulder, rocking him side by side lightly.
“She asked to go on a date today but I obviously turned her down.”
“T-Today? What- why? Why did you turn her down?” Kuroo leans in eagerly, his eyes wide. He had never once received a love confession in high school so he was absolutely ecstatic at the news though an itchy feeling in his chest started to appear.
“Cuz I don’t want to go?” Kuroo looks at Kenma, astonished. He knew Kenma never was the type to be interested in relationships as he always dipped out of conversations when the topic of girlfriends and crushes came up when the volleyball team was rambling on random things during practice and late night talks in camps but Kuroo just figured he was shy about it and didn’t want to push him. It also occurs to Kuroo that Kenma never had a crush that Kuroo was aware of for all the years he had known him.
“And I had plans with you so…” He continues, mumbling as he continues his game.
“What?! I should be the least of your problems! We meet up every week anyway!” The older immediately yells, baffled at his friend’s priorities. “Yeah, and so? I’d rather hang out with you.” Kenma fires back, his eyebrows raised as he huffs at Kuroo.
Kuroo gulps back the lump in his throat, grabbing one of the pillows on the bed, “But it’s a girl.” He continues with a low voice, taken aback at how much he was fired up from Kenma’s words. “And?” Kenma puts an end to the conversation as he rolled his eyes, huffing back to lean against the wall to continue gaming.
The day progresses without any visible tension as the two continue reading and gaming on their own. The room only fills with occasional small talk and absent minded humming, just like every other week but as the sky slowly turns dark and Kenma sets Kuroo off back home.
One thought floods Kuroo’s mind. There was no doubt that he was holding Kenma back and he had to do something.
Before it’s too late.
Seven days goes by in a blink and Kuroo waits for Kenma’s weekly text asking if they were going to hang out with a thumping heart as he spins in his chair in his bedroom. He chews on his bottom lips as he watches his phone screen he sets on his desk impatiently. He knows what he was doing is bad but it’s for a good cause. It’s for Kenma’s sake.
The university student almost falls over his chair as he rushes to grab his phone from the table as it lights up with a single notification on the screen. Kuroo’s eyes scan the limited words on the screen before typing the planned answer he had in his mind.
Kenma: You coming?
Kuroo bites his lip harshly as his thumb hovers above the send button on the right side of the blinding screen. He takes a double take and removes his thumb from the screen momentarily but remembers the words he said to him exactly seven days ago and forces himself to press the button.
“Fuck fuck fuck.” He chants out harshly as the message sends. He didn’t know whether to be relieved or nervous as he saw that his message was officially sent and is on display on Kenma's screen.
Kuroo: Sorry I gotta pass. My mom asked me to run some errands for the whole day :(
Kenma: Okay
Kenma: See you next week then
Kuroo sinks into his chair once again after shutting his phone off. An ounce of regret settling into his heart though he knew it was for the best.
“Shit, shit, shit!” Kuroo dashes through the bustling street, chanting the same word over and over again as beads of sweat trickle down his face. His slick skin mirrors the various colors of neon lights displayed in front of the street of bars and restaurants. Kuroo stops sharply as his eye catches the sight of the familiar bar. He momentarily fixes his hair and brushes down his shirt before walking in the building, trying to calm his breathing down. He smiles at the host up front, signaling that he knows where to go and searches for room number 5.
After crossing the hallway for less than a minute, Kuroo initially planned to check his phone to confirm the room number but goes ahead and opens the door as he hears a series of familiar laughter and screams.
“Kuroo-san!” The room immediately chanted as he showed himself to the people in the room. A vivid yet slurred “You’re late!” fills his ears, causing the room to erupt into laughter once again. Kuroo rubs the back of his neck and apologizes sheepishly to the room of half drunk young adults. He turns his back to close the door to the private room Kai had booked beforehand and allows himself to switch modes to his fun and upbeat one, far different from the one he had moments ago while typing away on his computer.
seven years have passed since his high school graduation and the Nekoma volleyball team from when Kuroo used to be the captain of, decided to hold a spontaneous reunion. Kuroo kept in touch with most of his high school friends but being a young adult in an intense industry limits the free time he owns.
“Mr.Volleyball Association finally decided to show up huh? But I’m still surprised you didn’t go pro though.” A blonde haired libero grinned, wiping his mouth with his sleeve after taking a swig of his beer. The whole room agrees in unison as Kuroo makes his way through the crowd to sit in one of the remaining free spots which was in between Kai, who organised the whole thing, and Yamamoto. “Yeah, who knew you would be the one to make the national team!” Lev bluntly chuckles out, throwing his head back before earning a fist from the elder.
“Anyways, why were you late Kuroo-san? You were always the first person to arrive for morning practice back then.” Yamamoto’s bright eyes light up the room as he offers a bowl of edamame beans to his former captain. “Work ran late.” He lies casually, taking a string of beans after taking off his blazer and setting it aside. A month ago when the topic of a reunion was brought up in the usually silent 2013 nekoma group chat, Kuroo was excited to see his old teammates but with the adult world taking up all his time, he only remembered that the very same reunion he couldn’t wait to attend was happening twenty minutes ago when he finally took the time to check his phone after a session of overtime.
A waitress shortly approaches him and lets him order his drink of choice. While waiting for his order to arrive, his eyes scan the room to realize that there were two empty chairs “Well at least I’m not the latest one.” Kuroo grins towards Yamamoto as he simultaneously attempts to jog his memory to find the missing people. “Ah! That’s right! I wonder where they are. But I guess you would know where he is.” Yamamoto replies absentmindedly, pulling his phone out of his pocket to text the missing teammates. “Hm?” Kuroo’s eyebrow rises at the younger’s statement. What was he talking about? Kuroo only really talks to the other guys in his year, Lev and Yamamoto so he really wouldn’t know anything about the others. Who was he talking about?
“Oh! There they are!” The sound of the door sliding open accompanies Yamamoto’s exclamation. Everyone’s eyes including Kuroo’s turn towards the open door in anticipation for the late comers. Kuroo’s eyes light up at the sight of Fukunaga, remembering his junior but his expression quickly contorts to surprise as he caught a glimpse of the shorter man hiding behind the taller of the two.
Everyone stands to cheer at the last two to arrive, “Fukunaga! Kenma!” The room breaks into a chaotic series of chants as Kuroo feels himself sink into his seat deeper involuntarily in silence. The taller wing spiker enters the room first, making his way to a free seat beside Inuoka and Lev, revealing the setter whose face is covered by his own hair. No matter how much Kuroo wants to avoid eye contact, his eyes stay peeled at his old best friend still standing outside the room. He still stands in the awful posture Kuroo tried his best in fixing for the whole entirety of his high school career but his hair is much different now. It’s longer than the chin length he used to keep during his teens to the point where it nearly reaches his droopy shoulders. His hair is nearly all black and only the tips of his hair remain blonde from when he bleached his hair in his first year of high school. And unlike the majority of the room who were dressed in business attire from their nine to five jobs, the setter dressed in an oversized black hoodie and casual dark jeans with rips on both knees.
Kenma makes his way to his seat in between Inuoka and Shibayama, the seat right across Kuroo. He sits down comfortably in between his juniors, tucking his hair behind his left ear. A chill goes down Kuroo’s spine as the setter shoots a second of swift and sharp eye contact with him. Not giving the older time to react, he turns to both sides of his seat to greet his juniors, smiling brightly. Dumbfounded and overwhelmed, he feels relieved when the waitress comes over with his drink so he can at least pretend to be casual and busy himself as his chest tightens up.
He bites his lip as he realizes that he is the world’s biggest idiot and asshole. Seven years passed by and he had not spoken a single word to Kenma. Sure, Kenma could’ve taken the initiative if he was mad at Kuroo but he definitely should have at least popped in for a quick chat every once in a while. It was his idea to distance from Kenma but he didn’t mean to forget about him completely.
But was he upset? Is Kenma the type to get upset over these things? Kuroo’s eyes travel back up slowly towards Kenma’s direction and jump in his seat discretely as his eyes immediately meet the cold gaze of Kenma’s golden eyes. His half lidded cat eyes never felt so cold. Of course he was mad. Who was Kuroo kidding? He even made a promise to not leave him even though he graduated ahead and what did he do? He did the complete opposite of the promise.
“So Kenma-san! How are you doing? Are you eating well? I saw that your stream went until four in the morning! Must be nice to be self employed huh? Do you cook for yourself?” Lev bombards the setter with questions. Kuroo swears he could see a wagging tail and a matching pair of dog ears on the russian’s head. The room joins in with the middle blocker as the subject of the conversation curls in his seat. Kuroo chuckles at himself for a bit. He thought Kenma had gotten friendlier and closer to his teammates but this just shows how much he hasn't changed in a whole seven years. He was still the same old Kenma.
“Ah! I doubt Kenma-san would cook for himself so Kuroo-san would probably be the one to do it for him.” Lev proceeds to shift the conversation topic to the lone man sitting on the complete opposite side of the setter. Kuroo’s mouth felt dry as he attempted to find things to talk about. What were they talking about? He knows how much Kenma doesn’t take care of himself but he’s an adult now. To what extent does his laziness reach? And four AM? What job has those ridiculous hours? Is he really self employed? Kuroo feels shame pricking on his cheeks. He couldn’t believe he didn’t know a single thing about Kenma at this point.
Everyone’s eyes were on Kuroo. He swallows a lump in his throat as his eyebrow crooks up and down, attempting his best to answer the simple question. The answer is no. A simple two lettered word that’s supposed to roll off his tongue easily but the word struggles to come out. He sees Kenma’s expression, a smirk and an eyebrow raised, enjoying the tortured expression on Kuroo’s face.
“I um, I-” He chokes out before getting interrupted.
“He does sometimes. He makes pretty good beef stew.” A voice unexpectedly says, making all the heads in the room whip back towards Kenma. Kuroo stares at the setter wide eyed but he didn’t look back, looking casually as he smoothly changes the topic of the conversation to Fukunaga’s upcoming comedy show.
Kuroo had to take a double take for a second. It was a lie. He didn’t see Kenma for almost a decade but why did he lie for him like that? What benefit would that bring him? There are so many questions in Kuroo’s head and he feels like he could give up anything to lay down for a while to subdue his headache but alas, he was stuck in a high school reunion filled with overly loud and drunk young adults.
The night progresses like most of their old practice time. Lev and Yaku arguing, Yamamoto, Inuoka and Shibayama talking about girls and Fukunaga reciting some of his jokes. It was chaotic and loud to say the least. Kuroo attempts to push his anxiety away and talk to his old vice captain. He is thankful he was beside Kai, the most sane person even when drunk as he couldn’t possibly imagine if he had to keep up a conversation with Yamamoto or Yaku with the big headache he is having. At some point, with three mugs of beer down, Kuroo actually starts to enjoy himself.
But of course, this momentary bliss of catching up with his old friends does not last long.
Amidst the ruckus, a conversation from across the room sticks out louder than others. “C’mon Kenma-san~” The young silver haired model whines, dragging out the “san” as he had both of his oversized hands on Kenma’s small shoulders. “No, ugh, get off me, Lev.” Kenma huffs, trying to push Lev’s hands away with his elbows. “Pleaase! You’re so pretty, I’m sure they’ll let you in!” Lev continues, wrapping his long arms around Kenma’s neck, bringing their cheeks together to Kenma’s misfortune. Kuroo turns towards Yamamoto, who is currently laughing at the ordeal. “Lev is trying to get Kenma to model in a project he’s in.” Yamamoto explains in between laughs, clearly enjoying the scene. Kuroo joins with Yamamoto, he couldn’t deny it, seeing Kenma on a billboard in the middle of Shibuya will definitely give the whole Nekoma team material to laugh at. He would be the last person to be seen there.
“Ugh! Shut up already!” Kenma’s usually small voice booms as he slams his hands on the table, causing half empty glass mugs to clink with one another. The whole room turns silent, watching the ticked off setter stomp out of the room. “W-Where are you going? Lev! Cut it out!” Yaku speaks out in the middle of the stillness. “To smoke.” He replies casually before sliding the door closed harshly with a swift motion of his wrist.
As soon as Kenma leaves, all eyes turn towards Lev, who receives a stinging slap on his back from the senior libero. “Fine! Fine! I’ll find him.” Lev huffs like a child in the middle of a tantrum. “No, you’ll make things worse like you always do.” Yaku barked at the younger, “Kuroo, go. You always know what he’s thinking and what to say.” The blonde continues in a calmer tone, turning his head to Kuroo, who was as stunned as the rest of the group. He wanted to refuse, approaching someone you’ve never talked to in seven years who’s so clearly angry at him when he’s having a drunken fit? He’ll get a much more violent slap than what Lev received from Yaku, and he is certain that it won’t be on the back but alas, nothing goes his way. Before he could even get a say in it, Yamamoto was already pushing him up from his seat.
The anxiousness from earlier in the night begins to return to Kuroo’s body. He forces his legs with all his might to get up and walk out to find his “best friend”. He exits the bar and checks one of the alleys, bracing himself for a slap or two on the face once he does find Kenma. The left alley is filled with unidentified smokers, Kuroo doubts that Kenma would be around there so he walks over to the other one.
He pops his head hesitantly into the right alley to get a scene of the man he was looking for, alone with his phone in his hands leaning against the building beside the bar. Kuroo takes a deep breath before entering the dark cramped space, walking over to lean against the wall right in front of the younger.
“Not smoking?” Kuroo starts, getting rid of the awkward silence as Kenma didn’t bother to raise his head at the arrival of his old childhood friend. “I don’t do all that. I just said that to get away.” He says with his signature small voice, letting a second of silence pass by before replying.
“Why? Do you?”
“Huh? M-Me? No way.” Kuroo replies a second too fast, as if he was a teenager getting caught smoking in the boy’s bathroom by a teacher. “Guess we don’t know anything about each other, huh?” He continues to sound casual, following his words with a stiff series of chuckles.
You always know what he’s thinking and what to say? Yeah right. Kuroo didn’t even know if he graduated high school or actually dropped out halfway through third year to become a full time gamer like he always whined about when Kuroo tutored him for upcoming tests.
Kenma raises his face from his phone, staring at the taller man in a dress shirt with a deadpan expression, “And who’s fault do you think that is?” He spits out, his voice louder than before. A cold gush of the Tokyo air accompanies the setter’s words.
Kuroo bites his tongue as his head droops down to face his shoes. He’s right, he is an asshole. He’d want to slap himself too if he were in Kenma’s shoes. He digs his shoes deeper into the concrete, his whole body feels like it’s on fire but simultaneously felt so cold. “I’m sorry.” Kuroo whispers out the only two words he can say.
“You’re sorry?” Kenma scoffs, anger evident in his voice. “You think a mere sorry can make up for the whole seven years you left me all alone? Glad to know your idiot brain never changed over all these years cause that’s pretty much the only thing I know about you now.” His voice keeps rising as each word leaves his lips. “No calls, no texts, no nothing!” He was practically yelling at this point. Kuroo was for once grateful that Friday nights were always loud so no one would hear the setter’s yells.
“And what about you, huh? You didn’t try either. It’s always me, me, me, doing things in this friendship!” Kuroo barks back through gritted teeth, finally changing his view from the ground to the angered man. “And I did it for your sake! But of course, you’re too selfish to realize that!” He scoffs.
“Excuse me? For my sake?” His voice starts out low. Despite it being so loud outside, his voice is clearer than ever in Kuroo’s half drunken ears. Even with the limited light outside, Kuroo can see how the setter’s eyes are wide open, bewildered at the older’s words. “Don’t act like you know me because you don't.” He staggers closer to Kuroo, footsteps heavy. “You know nothing.” He yells just inches away from Kuroo’s face, jabbing his finger into the stunned man’s chest.
The two stay inches away for a minute, both panting after screaming their lungs out. “Stay away from me.” The long haired man whispers, his voice threatening to break. He pulls back and takes a sharp turn, fumbling with his phone as he makes his way out of the alley. “W-Where are you going?” Kuroo croaks out, trying his best to stay angry though the sight of the skinny man stumbling with his steps out got the better of him. “Home, you dipshit!” Kenma yells out once again.
Kuroo watches as the setter almost makes his way out but catches him trip on his own foot. He rushes with all his might, propping his hand behind the man’s back. Kuroo, being so immersed in his feelings, didn’t realize how drunk Kenma was looking. Even under the darkness over the midnight sky, he can still see that his face is flushed red and his eyes are barely open.
“Get off me.” He mutters angrily, though his tone is nowhere as threatening as before.
Kuroo hesitates before sighing at the man who was still limp in his arms. “I’ll get you home.” He says calmly, expecting Kenma to retaliate and slap his face but he unexpectedly stays quiet almost as if he admits defeat.
After awkwardly shooting a text to Kai explaining half of the situation and asking him for a favor to secretly bring his bag out, the two childhood friends manage to get into a taxi. “Where to, sir?” The driver upfront starts right as Kuroo closes the door behind him after hauling a half conscious Kenma in the back seat. “Ah, um.” Kuroo replies, trying to remember the address to Kenma’s old house. “I moved out. My address is in my notes.” He grumbles out with a small voice despite being asked, waving his phone in Kuroo’s face.
“But what’s your pas-” He asks in a panic, worrying that Kenma would fall asleep though his sentences were cut short, just realizing how his fingers have subconsciously tapped in the correct password to his phone. He scoffs to himself as he goes through the notes app in Kenma’s phone, amused at the fact that he had yet to change his password code since he got his very first smartphone back in high school.
The two embark on the journey after Kuroo manages to find the address and recite it to the driver upfront. He didn’t know where it was as he has never been there or even which apartment number Kenma stays at since it isn’t listed in the note. The uncertainty brought dampness to his palms.
His eyes wander to the younger man knocked out beside him. His head is tilted to rest on the opposing door to Kuroo. As bright street light passes by, illuminating the contents of the silent taxi momentarily, Kuroo can see Kenma’s face properly for the first time tonight and Lev was right.
He did look pretty.
From a quick glance, one would think not much changed with him but once you get past the distracting locks of hair, his features did change. His jawline is much more defined after going through puberty. His lips look plumper than before and his eyelashes appear longer, not that Kuroo ever really paid attention to him in the past but he was certain that if they were that long back then, he would have noticed. Even sleeping, he has Kuroo’s eyes peeled on him. Kuroo’s only half sober mind debates on waking Kenma up so he could see his cat like eyes properly but decides to want to live another day.
The car ride takes longer than Kuroo had anticipated. Nearly dozing off a few times but managing to stay awake, the car slowly comes to stop nearly an hour after. Kuroo gulps a lump in his throat when he looks out the window. “We’re in the right place, r-right?” He timidly questions the driver upfront. The car is parked in what seems like the middle of the woods, in front of a dark traditional japanese estate.
Kuroo manages to pay the fare and sling Kenma’s arm around his neck. He drags both his and Kenma’s body in front of the front door. The elder holds his breath before fishing through the unconscious’ pockets for the key to, hopefully, this house, seeming how he appears to not bring anything aside from himself and his phone.
He lets out a sigh of relief as the key he found in Kenma’s back pocket fits perfectly with the front door, letting him in. He shakes his own shoes off and carefully removes Kenma’s ones. “My room’s down the hall.” He mutters as he feels Kuroo’s head turn around in all directions to attempt finding the bedroom. The middle blocker’s cheeks heats up slightly while dragging Kenma into his bedroom.
So he was awake when I literally felt up his body for the keys?
Kuroo’s ears were still red when he plops Kenma’s half awake body in the middle of his king sized bed. He watches for a while how the man wiggles in the comfort of his own bed and buries his face into his duvet.
“I um, I’ll go now.” Kuroo states, not expecting an answer. He turns on his heel to head out the door but unexpectedly gets slammed by a pillow on the head before doing so. Confused, he turns around while rubbing his head to see a sight of the long haired man sitting cross legged on the bed with his head tilted down.
“Don’t leave.” he croaks out silently.
Kuroo rushes over to the man in the black hoodie as he sees something glimmering fall down from his head to his hands. He naturally cradles Kenma’s head into his own neck. It’s his first time seeing him cry in seven years. “Are you still drunk?” He asks slowly, with amusement in his voice though he didn’t get an answer. Instead, muffled sniffles fill the room.
“Don’t leave me.” Kenma says a little louder this time. The vibrations made against Kuroo’s neck made the hairs on the back of his neck stand up. “I won’t.” He replies, his breath staggering.
“You’re always with me.”
A/N: I’d like to thank the Kenma episode of Haikyuu season four for giving me enough serotonin to finish this fic despite my HEAVILY PACKED schedule as a high school senior <3 means a lot.
Anyways, thank you for reading my first kuroken fic! I was too accustomed to writing Tsukkiyama dynamics so I had a hard time writing this. This is also my first time ever in my life not writing in past tense so please forgive me if I made any mistakes lmao. Bilingual culture gets to me sometimes :’) I also proof read this in the middle of class so ignore any errors!
Thank you again and see you in my next fic (which is most likely tsukkiyama again cuz this shit is too hard)!

“Lord Beelzebub…”
“Not now. I’m busy,” Beelzebub buzzed, not lifting their eyes from the screen on their phone. Gabriel was suggesting they go see some museum with old planes, which he had developed an odd fascination with. To be fair, Beelzebub could sort of see the point: it was amusing how humans had tried so hard to soar the skies, not unlike angels could… and yet kept coming up with ways to make the experience absolutely miserable from start to end.
Hell may or may not have had a hand in the constant reduction of size seat and space between rows. They grinned at the thought, sprawled on their throne, and began typing up a reply to Gabriel’s suggestion. They didn’t get to write a lot.
“My Lord, I urgently request audience.”
Beelzebub scoffed, finally looking up. “Urgently? What can be so urgent, Dagon? We hardly have anything much to do, considering that all we were supposed to work towards and build up to has no happened, so--”
“Yes, that is-- that is what I mean to talk to you about, my Lord. If you please.”
There was a serious edge to Dagon’s voice, which was actually nothing new because Dagon always took her work very seriously, but this was… more serious than usual, Beelzebub could tell. Slowly, they put down the phone and straightened themselves on the throne.
“... Speak,” they finally said.
Dagon stepped closer, but didn’t speak right away. Instead she glanced around, uncharacteristically nervous. “As you know, I have been chairing numerous meetings while you were-- otherwise occupied.”
Beelzebub frowned. “Important matters,” they declared as their phone pinged, with Gabriel suggesting they may like to visit the London Dungeon while they were there.
“Of course, my Lord. As you were busy, I filled in for you, as per your request, and many are… dissatisfied.”
A scoff. “We’re in Hell. What kind of Hell would that be if we were not dissatisfied?” they said, but their voice was not quite as dismissive as they knew it ought to be. And Dagon could tell, surely, because when they spoke again their own voice was firmer, almost emboldened.
“More dissatisfied than the norm, I mean,” she said. “I need to make clear, Lord Beelzebub, that I mean no disrespect-- nor insubordination-- and that what I am simply reporting, uh, concerns. To your ears alone.”
Not to Satan’s, then, Beelzebub thought , Gabriel’s voice ringing out somewhere in their mind.
Why rebel to the absolute authority of God to pass absolute the absolute authority of Satan?
“Since the Armageddon did not come to pass, many are wondering what comes next,” Dagon was saying. “We have received no word from him . No new instructions, no indication of a change of plans or… any plan at all. The entire purpose of our existence seems to be gone, and now we wonder--”
“And who ever said that was the purpose of our existence?” Beelzebub cut her off, suddenly angry. Dagon looked up, a flash of something on her face.
“... Lord Beelzebub,” she said, more slowly. It was the tone of someone knowing a misstep could cost their very existence, and yet willing to take a chance. A very human trait, that. Humans took chances. And, a very long time ago, so had they. “You know I am loyal to you.”
“I am aware.”
“Am I correct in assuming the same questions I am asking now have crossed your mind too?”
Beelzebub leaned back against their throne, and for a few moments there was only silence - the kind that can only be heard, or rather not heard, moments before something is uttered that can never be taken back or ignored again. Well aware of the seriousness of it, Beelzebub finally spoke in a low voice.
“What if the War never happens?” they said. “No resolution, an eternity of corrupting mortal souls because of orders we received thousand of years ago, according to a Plan we all rebelled against in the first place and that is now moot. An eternity of this,” they gestured at the dark walls and ceiling, “because of the orders of one. Is that what is being whispered through Hell?”
A pause, and Dagon nodded, eyes still darting around. “I know some would say that questioning his orders is treason--”
“Well, it is. That’s why demons are whispering and not yelling about it,” Beelzebub replied, and stood, causing Dagon to immediately step back to give them space. “But it seems to me that the concept of committing treason did not stop us the first time around. At least the lot of you learned to be more secretive now.”
“Ah. Yes, well… that is not to say we have plans to-- that is not to say we have plans yet,” she said quickly. “We are only thinking over our options, now that it seems the entire purpose of our work is gone.”
“Of course.” Beelzebub folded their arms, and looked at Dagon straight in the eye. It was a dangerous game they were stepping into, but they had never been the kind to back away from dangerous games. If they were, they may have never Fallen in the first place. “Perhaps I should find the time to chair this next… meeting.”
Dagon nodded, and flashed a sharp smile. “We’d welcome you to it, my Lord.”

“Have you given any thought to what Sandalphon said?”
“He says a lot of things. You’ll need to be more specific.”
“You know what I am referring to.”
The scrape of pen on paper stopped, and Michael sighed, finally looking up at Uriel. “I was rather hoping you had forgotten about that conversation.”
“We don’t forget things,” Uriel pointed out, coming to sit across her desk. “Except those who used to be with us before the Fall. And we know now it was not God to will it. We did it ourselves.”
“Enemies are easier to fight if you can't recall them being anything else - you said so yourself.” Michael leaned back against the seat, folding her hands on the desk. Her eyes drifted to the drawer where she kept the phone she once used to get in touch with her contacts in Hell - the back channels, as she called them. But even then, it was nothing personal. They were still enemies, and occasional cooperation did not change that. “And they are enemies still.”
“But it’s not looking like that fight is happening,” Uriel replied. “The Great Plan is no longer in place, and we have no instructions as to how to proceed. We have not received an order in a very, very long time.”
“... We were ordered to banish Gabriel.”
“Which was a test. And we failed.”
“What are you getting at?”
“Now that the Great Plan is… null and void, it seems, we are still doing as we always did. Following orders, or whatever we took as orders.”
“Took as orders?”
“We never got any directions on how to run things, did we? There was an end goal, and we figured the rest out.” Uriel gestured at the immaculate room around them, at the paperwork on Michael’s desk. “As efficiently as possible, preparing for the War. We took initiative. Did things we were not expressly commanded to do… and things we were not expressly forbidden to do.”
And God never forbade us to think of the Fallen as they were before the schism.
God never forbade us to punish a traitorous angel either, and yet.
Michael forced the thought out of her mind, and sighed. “What is it you’re driving at?”
“That maybe what happened with Gabriel proves that we are meant to question… some things,” Uriel said. She leaned forward, folding her hands on the desk as well. “Such as our true purpose, if no War is to happen in the foreseeable future. And that we may not be the only ones asking ourselves such questions just now.”
… Wait. Did she just say-- did she mean--?
Under Michael’s startled gaze, Uriel smiled. “You are not the only one with access to some back channels, Michael.”
There are no back channels, Michael almost said, but that would have been Gabriel’s line and she did not utter it. Instead, she tilted her head on one side as she considered the implication of what she had just heard.
“... There is unrest in Hell, then?”
“Well, to be entirely fair that is like saying there is oxygen on Earth.” Uriel shrugged. “You’d be hard-pressed finding a time without unrest in Hell. But according to my contact, demons have been left quite directionless without the Great Plan or any War in sight. They don’t know what to make of it any more than we do. And they are questioning whether going on like this, business as usual, is worth it. This may be a sign of interesting developments to come.”
Michael reached up to rub her temples. “Tell me they are not thinking of another uprising.”
“I wouldn’t give too much credit to the amount of thinking that generally goes on downstairs, but it wouldn’t be their first.”
“And their first attempt did not go their way.” A pause. “Are you suggesting we intervene?”
“I am suggesting we keep watch,” Uriel said, and stood. “And an open mind. Perhaps the order of things we have known since the first War is at its end, after all.”
“If we act in a way God disapproves--”
“I trust God will make it known very, very swiftly if that is the case,” Uriel replied, and Michael found there was nothing she could retort to that.

"Does he really have to come by?"
"He has to return the book."
"He could leave it outside or something. With no need to actually come in."
"It is an antique and very rare book, Crowley. I will not have it left on my doorstep. What if someone takes it - what if it rains?"
"Fine, fine. But no inviting him over for tea."
A chuckle. "I was not planning to, believe me. We already have a guest coming, after all."
"Much more appreciated than the Archangel Fucking Gabriel if you ask to me," Crowley muttered, and that was the end of the conversation.
And yet he was unable to shake off the uneasy feeling that something was not quite right.
***
“Wait. You mean to tell me you got that book from your traitorous angel?”
“Yes.”
“You told him what it was for?”
“I may have mentioned it. ”
“What possessed you into thinking it was a good idea!”
“I didn’t really think--”
“Ugh, of course you did not!” Beezelbub huffed and dropped back against their seat, arms crossed, kicking the one in front of them for good measure. Thankfully, said seat was empty. “You ought to have kept your mouth shut.”
“Not what you said last night.”
“What?”
“I said, I didn’t think it would be an issue. What do you care about the opinion of an angel?”
A scoff. ”An angel who is certain to relay the information to a renegade demon we know all too well.”
Gabriel shrugged. “He won’t need to.”
“... I beg your pardon?” Beelezebub glanced up, nothing in their voice, pose or expression indicating they were begging for anything, much less pardon. Gabriel shifted, only… marginally uncomfortable.
“He may have been present at the time I, uh, borrowed the book.”
“Uuuugh,” Beelzebub groaned, a hand reaching up to press against their eyes.
Gabriel raised an eyebrow. “That was about what he said, too.”
The hand covering Beelzebub’s eyes went down just enough for them to glance up. They were still scowling, but not quite as much. “Oh?”
“I daresay he was rather disturbed.”
“Was he now.” Beelzebub sounded rather interested now, the corners of their mouth curling up almost imperceptibly. Gabriel smiled.
“Scarred for life, I would say,” he confirmed. It had… honestly not been his intention at the time, but it seemed to please Beelzebub greatly.
“Well,” they finally said, “I suppose it will not hurt if I come in with you when I return the book. So I can have a look at his face, and--”
“Excuse me, may I see your ticket?”
Both Gabriel and Beelzebub glanced up to see a ticket inspector beside their seats, wearing a uniform that looked rather like it had been salvaged from the jaws of a dog and with a smile that was only halfway convincing. Beelzebub, never one to appreciate being interrupted while speaking, snorted. They had protested quite adamantly when Gabriel had mentioned the need to buy tickets, pointing out it was unbecoming of the Lord of the Flies to pay a fare like they were some spineless, law-abiding mortal.
“No,” they informed the ticket officer, sounding incredibly outraged by the request. By their side, Gabriel began frantically searching his pockets for the tickets he had purchased for both of them. “You may not.”
The ticket officer blinked. “You mean you don’t have a ticket, uh…” he hesitated. “... Sir?”
“It’s Zzzzzzir to you, and--”
“Here!” Gabriel almost yelled, sticking his arm over Beelzebub’s head to hold out two tickets. “We have tickets! We do, here, see? Great. Have a nice day!”
As the mortal left, only a little perplexed and without the foggiest idea whose ire he had almost become the target of, Beelzebub turned to glare at Gabriel.
“I told you I needed no ticket.”
“It spared us an inconvenient argument.”
“I could have incinerated that mortal where he stood.”
“... See, thing is, that would have been even more inconvenient.”
“Hmph,” Beelzebub replied, and sank back into the seat. “Why take a train in the first place? I could have transported you to London in the blink of an eye.”
“Last time you did that, it was far from discrete and we were seen.”
“And memories were wiped. It is not hard.”
Gabriel shrugged, glancing out of the window. “Well, there is the fact I do enjoy the scenery, too,” he said. It was a bright day, after all, and the countryside around them a luscious green. “The bright sky, the sun--”
Clouds gathered suddenly above the train, iron gray, darkening the sun. As rain began beating against the glass, abrupt as it was violent, Gabriel groaned. “That’s childish,” he declared, turning to Beelzebub with a pout. That gained him a smirk.
“No it isn’t. It’s petty. Not the same thing.”
A sigh. “Fair,” Gabriel said, and leaned back as well, putting an arm over Beelzebub’s shoulders. The smirk faded, and an eyebrow went up.
“I cannot recall asking for this-- show of physical affection.”
“Does it displease you?”
“... I suppose I can tolerate it,” they said. Outside, the downpour cleared as quickly as it had come - a phenomena British meteorologists, who made an art out of the national pastime of talking about the weather, would discuss at length that evening across all channels. Gabriel smiled a little, but refrained from saying anything. It was a nice silence. Peaceful.
So of course, Beelzebub took it upon themselves to break it. “What would you say if I told you me and a few lieutenants are thinking about an uprising?”
Ah. Gabriel blinked, and glanced over. Were they really thinking of fighting the War without the Armageddon having happened to signal its start? He certainly hoped they wouldn’t choose Earth as the battlefield. Actually, he rather hoped it would not happen; he’d rather not see Beelzebub, or any of his former colleagues, get destroyed by either holy water or hellfire. “I would say that it’s probably not a wise idea. Your army lost once before, and-- not that I mean to brag, but I did oversee the preparation for the War, and I know for a fact you would be crush--”
“You misunderstand. Not an uprising against God.”
Gabriel blinked again, and looked down. “What? Against who, then?”
Beelzebub craned their neck to meet his gaze, giving him a look that told him in no uncertain terms he was an idiot. “Idiot,” they said, just to make sure there was no doubt left over what they meant to communicate. “Who do you think? Who rules over us?”
Oh. Oh, shit. “What-- an uprising against--” he sputtered, pulling away his arm to grab Beelzebub by both shoulders and shake them. God, had they lost their mind? A failed uprising against Satan would spell their doom, and that of anybody following them in that folly. Satan would not be content with casting them out. “It is a terrible idea!”
Beelzebub tilted their head. “You gave me the idea.”
“I have terrible ideas!”
“Are you arguing for us to remain under his rule even if we decide we no longer wish to?”
“I am arguing for you not to get yourself destroyed!” Gabriel gave them a shake, which thankfully did not result in immediate mutilation, although he was probably on thin ice. “Can’t you just-- walk out on him, or something?”
“I find destroying him would be a preferable, more permanent solution. In case he means to stop us.”
“The power he has--”
“He’s not an evil version of God, Gabriel,” Beelzebub cut him off, their voice perfectly calm. “He started out the same as me or you. What power he has over the forces of Hell, we gave him that by following his orders. And we can claim it back.”
There was sense in what Beelzebub was saying, Gabriel knew, but he was unable to truly hear it; all he could think was Satan, the negation of everything God stood for-- whatever it is God stands for -- utterly destroying Beelzebub with naught a word. If that happened, what then? What of him? What would he do?
I won’t lose you again.
“If this goes wrong--” he began, only to pause when Beelzebub gracelessly slapped a hand over his mouth, nearly knocking the back of his head against the window.
“Listen, it’s not even a plan yet,” they muttered. “Just ideas. I am far from the only one with questions over our purpose now that the so-called Great Plan has apparently gone out of the window. There may or may not be an uprising, or we may or may not just walk out on him, or we’ll only grumble and then absolutely nothing will happen. I don’t know yet. So don’t get your feathers ruffled.” A pause. They shifted a little before clarifying, “... That wasn’t meant to be a jab about your wings.”
Ah. Gabriel stared a moment before he snorted out a laugh, leaning back against the seat. “God,” he muttered, running a hand through his hair. “All right, all right. Just promise me you won’t take risks-- needless risks-- and that you’ll tell me if any decision is made.”
“... I suppose those are requests I can satisfy,” Beelzebub conceded. “Although I am not certain what difference you would make, being a mortal and all.”
“Perhaps, if I speak to Michael--” Gabriel began, and trailed off at the sharp look that gained him. He held up his hands. “No, no, hear me out. The Heavenly forces may be able to help.”
“What?” the Prince of Hell rolled their eyes. “Is your human form old enough for dementia to set in already? Heaven will not help us. We are the enemy.”
“But Satan is the Enemy. That makes you the enemy of their Enemy. If it means taking him out of the picture, or significantly reducing his power--”
“If we do rid ourselves of his reign, it doesn’t mean we have any intention to return to Heaven. The idea of being there makes me break out in hives.”
That was… a bit of a shame, really, but Gabriel could at least see the point and did not argue further. He did, after all, nearly break out in hives himself at the mere thought of residing in Hell. “No, of course not, but… well, events have made clear that both Heaven and Hell may be long overdue for an overhaul, and the enemy of my enemy--”
“We can free our own damn selves,” Beelzebub cut him off, their voice cold enough to make Gabriel fall silent. They glared at him for a moment, as though expecting more arguing, but when that failed to happen the scowl faded and they sighed.
“I don’t plan on getting myself destroyed, and I will not disappear on you,” they said, and leaned against his side again. “That I do promise. No need to bash your head before you bandage it.”
“I think you mean--”
“You know what I meant to mean,” the Lord of the Flies muttered, and Gabriel managed a smile, putting his arm around their shoulders again. He felt their frame relax a little. “... Well then. I cannot say I am not curious to see for myself the expression on the traitor’s face when he sees us both cross the threshold, so I guess I will accompany you into the bookstore. Afterwards, I suppose…”
The rest of the train ride - not long, truth be told - was spent without incident, making plans for the afternoon that would not come to be.
***
I know that boy.
Realization hit Hastur - who was not meant to be in London, but who was still unable to let go of the very pleasant fantasy he could get a shot at revenge against Crowley if he kept lingering there - within seconds of seeing the boy in question crossing the street only a few meters ahead of him.
An unremarkable-looking young mortal, and he wouldn’t have stood out among the several people crossing at the same spot without bothering to wait for the green light, as most pedestrians in London and indeed across the world. He wouldn’t have stood out but for one detail: when someone you think is the Antichrist looks at you straight in the eye and informs you that you smell like poo, you tend to remember what he looks like. And oh, did Hastur remember the little bastard well.
He could have torn him apart right there and then in the middle of the desert, of course, but trying to figure out what in Heaven was going on - what in Heaven had Crowley done - was the priority, and he had no time to indulge in some good, old-fashioned bloodshed. But oh, Hastur thought as he began following the boy, now… now he had all the time he wanted, and plenty of humans to do his bidding within striking range.
Contrary to popular belief, Hastur had always found that the most privileged, sheltered humans were the easiest to corrupt in the most spectacular fashion, with the most far-reaching consequences. But desperation is also a powerful tool, and the job he needed to get done now wouldn’t require too much finesse. It would be short, a powerful push, straight to the point.
And it takes so, so very little to snuff out a mortal life.
***
The folding knife in Noah’s pocket seemed to burn.
Having it on his person had always made him feel uneasy, ever since he had bought it second-hand, but after the third time someone jumped him - because jumping a homeless man just trying to get a few hours of sleep with his dog was apparently some bastards’ idea of fun - he’d decided he needed something to defend himself and Chip with. Thank God, he hadn’t needed to use it.
But he really ought to now, if anything to try cutting into somebody’s bag or backpack. He hated the idea, and he’d made it so far without the need to rob anyone - shoplifting food, he decided, did not count, and to be honest he didn’t have the skills needed to pick pockets - but the vet who came from time to time to take a look at Chip had said very clearly that without surgery, his dog was pretty much done for.
“Her hip dysplasia is too severe. It can only be fixed with surgery and physio, Noah. I can give you something to help with discomfort, but in the long run…” he had sighed, and made a vague gesture. “It may be kinder to let her go when the pain becomes too much.”
That was not an option, clearly, nor was giving her up for adoption because she would be at risk of being put to sleep - not the most adoptable dog, a seven-year-old mongrel with fucked up hips. He had almost nothing left but Chip and fuck it, she wasn’t even old. It was not her time yet, it was not fair.
The vet had offered him a payment plan, though, and Noah only had to get some money together for the first instalment. He’d immediately sold his tent, a few belongings he had left from his previous life, the nice coat a man had given him a few months prior on a rainy day.
"It’s looking like you should get to work to build that Ark, no?”, he had said, and Noah had found it funny, then. Not so much now: the biblical Noah saved all kinds of animals on Earth, but he was struggling to save his own damn dog. But he would, no matter what he had to do; a cut backpack and a missing wallet must suck, but not as much as losing the only friend one had left. He felt sorry it had come to that, but--
Well, if that isn’t the perfect target.
The thought came to him unbidden, and it felt oddly alien. Noah found himself turning to see the target in question, a kid walking down the street; as he looked he felt a sudden, inexplicable wave of hatred against him
Look at that, just the watch at his wrist would pay for the entire operation. Spoiled brat. Thinks the world owes him something. Go on, what are you waiting for?
Noah began moving, anger mounting to the point he heard the blood rushing in his ears. He moved in quick, long strides, eyes fixed on the boy - spoiled brat, a silver spoon down his throat while I go hungry and cold and my dog is sick and I cannot help her - and never noticing the pale man with black, black eyes fixed on him in turn, whispering through the corner of his mouth directly into his mind.
Pull out the knife.
Noah broke his stride, something in the pit of his stomach turning, a clear thought - a thought that was entirely his own - cutting through the haze of red-hot fury and desperation for a moment.
I don’t want to hurt anyone.
He didn't, he really didn't, he hated the idea of robbing anyone, let alone harming them and that was only a kid, he was making a mistake, he was--
No one needs to be hurt. Just a scare, nothing more. Scare him, get the watch, save your dog. It will be a lesson, is all. A lesson that no one is safe. Accidents happen.
Noah began walking again, approaching the boy as he began crossing the street towards an old bookstore. He felt oddly disconnetted, a buzz in his ears and something burning in his chest. His hand slipped in his pocket, and closed around the folding knife.
Accidents happen.

Harringrove ABO Masterlist
someone asked for an abo masterlist, so here it is!
this list isn’t sorted in any particular order, other than by date posted, which is the default on ao3. (newest -> oldest) i also didnt include every single fic in the abo tag because this list was already going to be a large post. if there are any fics i missed that someone thinks should be included, feel free to send an ask or to just reply to this post! :^) ♥ -cade

Carnal by mrhiddles (1/1 | 4,001 | Explicit)
Steve goes into heat when Billy pulls up to school. Billy's the only one who can help him, or so Steve says.
The Case Where Billy Hargrove Turned Out To Be Not Your Average Alpha by Anonymous (1/1 | 3,249 | Teen+)
“I don’t spend heats with alphas.” Steve said, his gaze avoiding Billy’s.
Billy faltered at that, his brows furrowing in confusion. “I thought you’d spent your heats with people before?” Billy asked.
“Well yeah, but not with alphas.” Steve huffed.
“So— You’re a faggot?” Billy asked, his eyes widening.

Perfectly Unnatural by ImNeitherNor (1/1 | 3,255 | Explicit)
‘You’re not an alpha in this house, boy. You’re not strong. You’re not even responsible with your sister. You don’t respect Susan. I thought I taught you enough in California.’
Neil’s words clang around Billy’s skull and burn the inside of his bones as he sits on the hood of his Camaro. The metal below his ass is warm from the engine just having been turned off, but the lights still spill out across the cliff. This place, nestled at the top and shrouded by trees, catches the wind just right. The wind bites through his jean jacket, settling close to his skin. The cherry red glow of his cigarette gives a false sense of warmth and puts Billy’s teeth on edge.
‘You’re unnatural.’
warnings: references to childhood abuse
Puppy Pile by Strawberry_Sweetheart (1/1 | 2,432 | Not Rated)
Steve forgets about his heat and thinks he has enough time to make a grocery run before it really hits.
He seems to have miscalculated.
Luckily, Billy is there’s to get him home safe.
warnings: creator chose not to use archive warnings
One Last Time by Strawberry_Sweetheart (1/1 | 3,157 | Not Rated)
It came with a phone call late at night, just past the witching hour. It was deathly quiet and dark, a new moon withholding any moonlight to chase the shadows away, and in that silence the piercing ring of the telephone downstairs cut through their dreams. A sleepy noise and wiggle came from the lump under Billy, shifting until it escaped Billy’s arms and legs that held it hostage.
Or
this is a requested fic for Alpha El + Billy and Steve being good parental figure types and helping her figure things out

So messed up, I want you here by Boudoir_Writer (1/1 | 3,942 | Explicit)
“I turned you bitch, Harrington.” His voice is gravel and petrol, his limbs and heart lead. “We’re never going to be done.”
warnings: dubcon
Smoke by Carerra_os (1/1 | 468 | General)
Billy is ditching class for a smoke break when Steve comes along. -
Originally this was written for You're Extra Special, Something Else. However that story went in a different direction.
Black silk and wild flowers by Catharrington (1/1 | 3,015 | Explicit)
Steve’s birthday was really just another day. The only thing that made it special was his fathers insistence on going to a party thrown for just him, a party filled with starving alphas with fat wallets all rutting against themselves to buy their own little omega. Steve hates what his father makes him do. Steve hates his birthday. Until Billy Hargrove crawls through his window to remind him it’s not all bad, silver lining in the clouds and shit, and brings him a present.
Drop (The Game) by MissGillette (3/3 | 42,080 | Explicit)
Billy has wanted a piece of Steve since spotting him on the school parking lot his first day. So when Steve flees the bathroom at Tina's Halloween party, distressed and about to drop, Billy does the only logical thing: follow the scent.
The Lucky One by wingedbears (1/1 | 6,881 | Mature)
In a world where on one arm is your soulmate's name, and the other's is your enemy's, omega Billy has to learn to let shit go.
Princess of the apocalypse by Boozombie (2/2 | 15,034 | Explicit)
Steve just wanted to keep his kids safe, and Billy knows how to use that.
warnings: rape/non-con
Princess that runs his world by Boozombie (3/3 | 11,747 | Not Rated)
Billy takes Steve to wash up and plans to get him alone for a date. Steve wants to bring his pack along.
warnings: creator chose not to use archive warnings, rape/non-con elements
lately i feel like i've been losing (my mind) by ToAStranger (1/1 | 3,162 | Explicit)
Billy hasn't felt right since the summer straight out of a horror movie. His instincts are all off. And Steve Harrington keeps looking at him.
Pothos by moonflowers (1/1 | 6,714 | Explicit)
He felt like the rabbit and the fox all at once, the thrill of chasing and being chased, a circle, whole. He might’ve felt stupid about it, if it hadn’t been so intense. Robin always told him he fell for people too easy – and fine, she was right – but this was something else. Or maybe not yet, but oh man he was starting to think he wanted it to be. And it was probably idiotic of him to get his hopes up, but he couldn't help but think maybe Billy did too; watching Steve from behind a tired and quietly angry veneer, a little twist of hope just visible through the mask.
Dubious Hijinks by Corvin (1/1 | 3,998 | Teen+)
Steve needs a buffer between him and the alpha his dad picked for him. The best option he can think of is an uncooperative Billy Hargrove.
with them indiana boys (on them indiana nights) by ToAStranger (1/1 | 4,842 | Teen+)
The thing is, when Billy first saw Steve Harrington, he knew.
He grew up knowing. It was hard not to, with all of those hormones and instincts running through his fucking veins. He knew, one day, he’d run across someone that smelled so right, so fucking perfect that he’d want nothing more than to bury his face against their scent gland and breathe in until the smell becomes a taste becomes a sensation becomes--
Well. The thing is, he’s always known.
None Brighter Than Your Eyes by Doodsxd (1/1 | 9,991 | Explicit)
Sex Ed course came once again, and, for the first time, Billy listened.
He listened, because it started to match and make sense with what Max’s little troup told him over and over again.
Apparently, it was biology which dictated that omega jewelry wasn’t just a futility or decoration, or even a signal that the omega was taken. It wasn’t a trade, sex for jewelry, like Neil had taught him all his life. No: scientists had found back in the sixties that omega jewelry has a soothing effect, especially during heat, as a reminder of love and affection; something tangible and available at all times, even when no one is.
warnings: graphic depictions of violence
"is that what you want, princess?" by greeneyedsourwolf (1/1 | 4,008 | Explicit)
Steve asks Billy if he wants to spend their first heat together.
warnings: creator chose not to use archive warnings
Pool Time Stress by AMemoryDelayed (1/1 | 2,610 | Explicit)
Steve's been visiting the pool pretty frequently. He can't help it when he'd been carted along that one time. He can't stand to watch Billy eye other women. It makes him regret it too, and yet. He's excited when Billy barely even moves his gaze over to him. He gives Steve the slightest of grins from where he's sat at. He doesn't make any other sign to warn him of what's to come beyond that. Steve knows though.
warnings: creator chose not to use archive warnings
Thanks Phyllis by Corvin (1/1 | 11,764 | Explicit)
Steve wants to start a family and asks Billy for help. What was supposed to be a purely professional exchange turns a lot more intimate than he expected.
Everything falls back by Crowweb (1/1 | 1,302 | Teen+)
Billy isn't home like he's supposed to and Steve gets a bad feeling through their bond. The alpha turns up beaten up after a couple of hours.
warnings: creator chose not to use archive warnings, blood
push him down (spread him out) by tol_sirion (1/1 | 3,529 | Explicit)
“It’s embarrassing.” Steve whines and covers his face instead.
Billy tuts. “None of that, now,” he says, and Steve slowly looks up, hands falling to each side of his head instead. “Just one more picture. One more, and I’ll give you what you want.”
And maybe it’s cruel, holding it over Steve like that. Like only if Steve is good and does what Billy says, he’ll finally get dicked down the exact way he wants, and not a minute before.
Woke Up Thirsty by trashcangimmick (1/1 | 3,256 | Explicit)
Billy shows up at the Byers house looking for Maxine. Instead, he finds Steve Harrington and a kind of surprising proposition.
warnings: creator chose not to use archive warnings
Grace Me With Nothing But Patience by itscrybabyharrington (icanspelliero) (1/1 | 6,587 | Explicit)
It started off as an itch beneath the surface of his skin, no matter how hard Steve pressed his nails could never dig through, could never scratch the discontent that simmered just beneath.
Tommy says it’s nothing, signs of an early rut approaching, meds wearing off after taking them for so long. Only Steve knows Tommy is full of shit and this doesn’t feel like a rut.
warnings: underage, offensive language used, homophobia
Buzzcut Season by Senowolf (1/1 | 6,332 | Teen+)
Steve always waits for Billy to come back to him.
I Wanna Be Loved by harringrovecryptid (13/13 | 51,993 | Explicit)
"Brenner Relations" was one of the most lucrative businesses in the modern age. But only its clients and staff actually knew how it made its money. Billy Hargrove found himself being one of those people. But the deeper he got involved with the shady industry, the more secrets he began to uncover regarding the omegas that are considered company property.
warnings: graphic depictions of violence, rape/non-con elements
Assigned Alpha by Kiram (2/2 | 3,415 | Explicit)
Steve used to just be an unknown secondary gender till Billy Hargrove rolled into town. Steve’s stuck in a rock and a hard place and is inevitable forced to fold and give into his nature. Billy likes bugging Steve while simultaneously protecting him.
war song by themundaneweirdo (1/1 | 1,789 | General)
Steve misses his soldier.
Don't Take Your Time With Me by trashcangimmick (1/1 | 6,864 | Explicit)
Billy is usually a light sleeper. But when he’s drunk, it’s a completely different story.
warnings: creator chose not to use archive warnings, rape fantasy, implied/referenced sexual assault, implied/referenced child abuse
I Can Do That by captainwingdings (1/1 | 1,971 | Explicit)
Billy wants to help out with Steve's heat, so he shows him a taste of what he can do.
warnings: creator chose not to use archive warnings
Hot Blooded by captainwingdings (1/1 | 4,463 | Explicit)
The new guy from California catches Steve Harrington's attention for more than one reason. Not only was he hot as hell and didn't know how to button his shirts, but he was the strangest omega that Steve had ever seen.
warnings: creator chose not to use archive warnings
Moaning Lisa Smile by trashcangimmick (1/1 | 3,735 | Explicit)
Billy maybe kind of hides the fact that he’s an Omega because he’s too queer, and too pretty, and would rather not deal with a bunch of idiot Alphas trying to screw the gay out of him. But Steve’s not an Alpha. Steve is also very pretty.
warnings: creator chose not to use archive warnings, consent issues
Sweet Dream (Saccharine) by Highsmith (1/1 | 16,039 | Explicit)
Billy and Steve aren't friends, until they are, and they're not more than that, because the world doesn't work that way.
warnings: implied/referenced child abuse, recreational drug use
Pressing the accelerator down by Etnoe (1/1 | 6,229 | Explicit)
Heat season takes a toll of two alphas who can't find anyone to share a rut with. Aside, of course, from each other.
warnings: creator chose not to use archive warnings
Keeping a bit of you by peirypatt (1/1 | 697 | General)
Over the years Steve's room has had several changes and seen many trends and phases, but there was only one thing that didn't belong to Steve inside his bedroom. A denim blue jacket.
It came naturally to us by peirypatt (1/1 | 650 | General)
Saying that Steve and Billy held hands in 1999 for the first time would be wrong and right at the same time. It's complicated, and at the same time, it's not.
Don't Belong To Anyone (Else) by sparkleeye (2/2 | 31,145 | Explicit)
And he does, just Billy’s fucking luck, because Harrington licks his lips and hoarsely goes, “I fucking knew it, fuck Hargrove, you’re in heat.”
He shudders as Harrington takes a step towards him. The tangy, warm scent of alpha has him struggling to stand upright, already slipping into the too far gone state and it’s fucking Harrington’s fault because he still won’t leave.
Better yet, he knows, he can smell the sweetness of omega, particularly herbal and saccharine like lavender and vanilla - Billy knows he smells like a girly little candle, okay - flooding the air between them. He could push Billy over and take him there, on the floor, push his face down onto the cracked, dusty concrete and fuck him stupid.
aka -- Billy is a stubborn idiot and goes to school during his heat.
warnings: creator chose not to use archive warnings
Upside Down, You're Turning Me by ImNeitherNor (1/1 | 7,885 | Explicit)
“Let me get this straight. You want me to go into the middle of the fucking woods in below zero temperatures to find someone who is probably high as a kite and just having the time of his damned life?”
“We’re worried--” Max starts and Billy sneers.
“That sounds like a personal problem, Maxine. Steve is a big boy, an alpha, and can handle--” Billy tears his gaze away from Max as Dustin climbs on top of his hood and sits there. “What the fuck do you think you’re doing?”
“Not moving,” Dustin shrugs and crosses his arms over his chest.

Doctor’s Visit by HalfNakedWriter (1/1 | 2,320 | Explicit)
Steve goes for his 38 week appointment.
'Cause We Feel Young and Wild by BeautyInChains (1/1 | 1,515 | Explicit)
Soon, is Steve’s best guess. Soon like the subtle itch beneath his skin that intensifies with each passing day. Soon like the voracity of his appetite as his body begins to prepare itself for the upcoming marathon. Soon like the aggression that continues to build and threaten to spill whenever another Alpha so much as glances Billy’s way. Soon like the way he’s been tenting his sheets, his slacks, his gym shorts at so much as a gentle breeze.
So when Billy texts him that morning, an eggplant emoji followed by the fire, peach, and splashing water emojis with not one but three question marks, Steve replies with Soon.

Lost My Mind by trimorning (1/1 | 1,564 | Teen+)
"I don't want to be dramatic."
He doesn’t know what Steve is going to say, which isn’t normal because he’s a predictable kind of mess, so it makes him feel vulnerable.
But its fine, its just Steve so it will undoubtedly be fine. Billy looks back at the other boy, “I can tell you right now, that you are physically incapable of not being dramatic, so continue.”
---- An a/b/o Harringrove one-shot that has little to do with a/b/o and more with Steve's flirty and messy ass. enjoy
Lavender by PoisonousFlower3 (1/1 | 756 | Mature)
"Billy hated being an alpha. He hated how it made his sense of smell stronger and smell the despair that always seemed to linger in this town. He hated how he was always so angry, though he knew that part of it was the abuse from his dad and his temper.
What he didn’t hate was how it let him get a good whiff of Steve whenever he was around."
In which case home starts to include Steve Harrington for Billy.
Red by PoisonousFlower3 (1/1 | 602 | Mature)
"Yeah, maybe things hadn’t started off the best for them but Billy was definitely in love." Another little drabble for two idiots in love
now I got you drunk, hot, and vulnerable (how do you like me now? do i turn you on?) by brawls (brawlite), ToAStranger (1/1 | 6,807 | Explicit)
The first thing Billy notices is the scent.
Heady, sweet, electric. It makes his mouth water, the second he walks in. Makes every bone in his body sing.
Heatstroke by HobbitSpaceCase (1/1 | 8,022 | Explicit)
Billy is out of suppressants and going into Heat. Steve finds him. It's too bad Billy can't have this every time.

Steve forgets his heat and Billy is there to be a jerk and fuck him how he needs.
you scratch my back, i'll bite yours by hoppnhorn (1/1 | 2,363 | Explicit)
Billy rushes Steve's fraternity and gets in, which sucks, only when it doesn't. Drunk Steve has a hard time staying away from what isn't good for him.
bite me, but not too hard by hoppnhorn (1/1 | 3,854 | Explicit)
Steve debates whether or not he should spend his heat tranquilized.
your teeth go deep (it seems) by hoppnhorn (1/1 | 3,554 | Explicit)
Nothing about his life, or his love life, has been simple thus far. The trend continues.
eat me (let it run down your chin) by hoppnhorn (1/1 | 2,837 | Explicit)
Billy ends things with Steve. Sorta.
Nine to five. by Fanflick (9/9 | 34,301 | Explicit)
Steve knew that everything would ultimately come to this, working for his father at a boring office job. It wasn't easy being an omega in hiding, especially now since Steve's boss is the arrogant alpha Billy Hargrove. Now Steve has to work alongside his high school rival while also trying to save enough money to get away from his father. How hard can that be?
warnings: boss/employee relationship
Drunken Things by Rhiw (3/3 | 10,566 | Explicit)
Nancy and Steve break up before Tina's party. Steve finds himself on the rebound, damned and determined to have some fun. Billy just wants to get laid.
Aka: The ABO of Stranger Things no one asked for. Written while drunk, with drunk characters, and lots of angst and smut and shit. Enjoy.
warnings: underage
what a wicked game you played (to make me feel this way) by brawls (brawlite), ToAStranger (14/14 | 119,016 | Explicit)
Billy knew Steve Harrington would ruin him. Steve knew Billy Hargrove was nothing but trouble.
They never expected it to end up like this.
warnings: misogynistic language, ableist language, mentioned dubcon
turn me loose by hoppnhorn (1/1 | 3,321 | Explicit)
Billy is a dominant, powerful alpha with a slew of omegas dying to win his affection. He loves it, lives for it, except when he’s in rut. Steve is an omega and fights it every damn day. But when his body goes into heat, needs to breed, he can’t do anything to stop it. Billy is in rut and Steve is in heat when a freak heatwave knocks out the air conditioning in their shared apartment complex. Open windows and rampant hormones? What could go wrong?
Punch by hati_skoll (1/1 | 2,330 | Teen+)
Steve is dragged off by another alpha, Billy handles it.
A Start by ImNeitherNor (1/1 | 5,574 | Explicit)
The quarry was always Steve’s go to when he needed a place to breathe, an area where the smells weren’t in his face and he could think straight. It was strange how one person’s heat could trigger another. Steve, a slightly cowed alpha after Hargrove rolled in, was done with the overpowering scents and the looks that were being thrown around.
He wasn’t interested in any of it. None.
So, when he pulled up onto the edge of the quarry and stepped out, he almost groaned at the smell that hit him. An omega. An omega in heat. Fuck. This is exactly what he had hoped to get away from. He was ready to slide back in and yank his car in reverse when he looked up and saw, exactly, what car was sitting to the side, shaded by an overcast of trees. If he hadn’t actually looked, it would have slipped away. He blamed his sharper senses, his need to search out the omega.

Steve’s not a fighter. He sucks at it, actually. He’s a little soft, but he isn’t totally weak or awfully tiny. He’s a good Alpha in many of the ways that count! Just because he isn’t running around sleeping with anyone willing, picking fights, and beating people to death doesn’t mean he’s a bad Alpha. And though Billy might do all that, but he isn't a bad Omega.

It was incredibly hot out, but you basked in the warmth. You had to head to Wasteland earlier to ensure everything was good to go with the equipment and sound check. You decided to stay and relax with a drink. Wanda, Vision, and Natasha wouldn’t be on the ground until the evening to hear some of the more prominent names play.
Your cell began to vibrate in your pocket.
“Hey, you’re going to be here later, right?” You answer, knowing it who was right away.
“Of course, bitch, I wouldn’t I miss this for anything. Boyfriend is just getting ready, and we’re going to eat first before coming.” David said through the line.
You smile.
“Perfect. I’ll introduce you to Wanda later then. Don’t forget what you promised me.”
You could hear an exasperated sigh on the other side. “How could I forget when you literally text me every day about it. I can’t believe you’re going to use the favor I owe you on her instead of yourself.”
“A favor’s a favor. Besides, I think when you meet her, you’ll forget it’s a favor.”
“Big words you’re talking there.”
“I certainly put the money where my mouth is.” You could tell David was grinning.
“Alright, I’ll see you later. The man is ready to go to eat.” David says, and you bid him goodbye briefly before the line disconnects.
The festival had provided you a tent to rest in behind the stage. You had nearly dozed off when your phone went off again. It was a text message from Wanda.
Hey, we’re here. Where should we meet you?
You quickly text a reply to Wanda and leave the tent. You meet up at one of the drink stations and smile as you approach the three. Vision looks like he’s a little out of place, and you almost feel for him.
Wanda looked amazing with her shorts, blouse, and converse. She had a couple necklaces on and rings on her fingers like she usually did, but the sun was just hitting her the right way. You made sure to not linger on her too long and focused your attention to Natasha who looked good as well.
“You guys made it,” you say as you walk up to them, adjusting your sling bag. over your shoulder.
Wanda comes to embrace you and your pat her back affectionately but signaling her to let go. Once she does, you walk over to Natasha, who also gives you a hug in greeting. When you part, you make sure to slide your hands down her arms intimately. She’s smirking at you while you grin.
Your eyes catch something though, and you frown a little at it. You lift your hand to her ear and lightly brush her hair behind it to get a better look. She’s looking at you intently, and you can feel Wanda’s eyes on your back.
“You don’t have earplugs?” You ask Natasha.
Natasha looked confused for a second. “No? I didn’t know I would need to have them.”
Your finger brushes her lobe lightly, and you bring your hand back to bring your sling bag around to the front of your body. You open it up and pull out a new pair of earplugs still in its packaging.
“Here, take these. Make sure you’re wearing these if you’re close to the stage, I don’t want you to go deaf.” You hand them to her, and Natasha is smiling at you.
“You sure?” She asks, and you nod.
“Yeah, these are my backup pair so no worries.” You turn your head to look over at Wanda who quickly smiles as soon as you’re looking at her. Her hair is tucked behind her ears, and you see she has only one in currently. The other she must be waiting to put in when she’s close to the stage. It wasn’t her first festival, after all.
The first thing you do is buy everyone a drink. Since you’re working later, you don’t drink as much.
“Is it hard to be in this kind of environment without getting drunk?” Natasha asks. You chuckle and tilt your head left and right to indicate ‘kind of.’
“At festivals like this, it’s easier to be in this section as you’re cut off from the general public. Less crowded. When I’m playing gigs at clubs or other venues, I typically only mingle for a bit before or after my set and then leave.”
“How kind of you to stick it out here with the rest of us then,” Natasha teases.
“Have to collect on your promise somehow,” you flirt right back causing Natasha's mouth to quirk upwards.
In the background, Wanda was watching the two of you, holding her drink a little tightly.
“Wanda,” Vision called, but she didn’t even hear it even though he was right in front of her.
“Wanda!” He calls again, and this time she whips her head at him, eyes wide.
“What?” She asks, willing her eyes to not go back to you and Natasha.
God, what was wrong with her today?
Vision gives her a concerned look but doesn’t say anything.
“How long are we staying?” He asks instead. Festivals weren’t really his scene, wasn’t his type of music, or what he could consider fun.
He only went because there was an odd feeling nagging him that he shouldn’t let Wanda go alone.
“I want to stay until it ends,” Wanda tells him, then nodding over to you with her chin. “She doesn’t play until tonight because she’s the opening act.”
Vision immediately frowns. That was a lot longer than he was expecting.
Wanda and Vision begin to bicker a little about how long they were going to stay.
“Vision,” Wanda finally says, a hint of irritation and frustration in her tone. “I’m staying. You can leave whenever you want to, I’m not forcing you to stay. I’m just saying it would be more fun if we’re here together.”
Vision doesn’t say anything back but sighs and nods. Wanda doesn’t really know if that means he’s staying or leaving earlier, but she doesn’t want to argue with him anymore. Lately, he’s been very strange.
Resolved to lift her spirits, she tells everyone they should get closer to the stage and dance. She can’t help but stare at you and Natasha dancing together. You were behind the redhead, pressed up against her, and seemingly saying something in her ear before helping her with her earplugs, and tapping the beat of the music against Natasha’s ribs.
Vision, seemingly trying to make up for bickering with Wanda earlier, grabs Wanda’s hand to twirl her around and pulls her close.
It’s a good couple of hours they’re out there listening to the music and dancing. You’re feeling pretty parched, and everyone follows you out to grab water. You run your fingers through your fringe, running it all the way back to help with the heat.
You’re supposed to be playing soon, so you’ll need to leave to go prep. Everyone is going to walk around until you’re about to play and will then make their way up front to the stage.
Suddenly, your phone is vibrating again. You pull it out see that it’s David who has arrived on the grounds.
“Hey,” you say to everyone. “I have another friend who came to see me play. I’ve been wanting to introduce you to him.”
You lead them in the direction David says he’s at. He’s at another drink station, and you can see him in the distance drinking and laughing with his boyfriend. He spots you in the distance and excitedly waves you over.
You walk over, and he pulls you into a hug. “My god, California is doing you wonders.”
David checks you over, you slap him lightly, and he laughs. His boyfriend stands up and gives you a hug as well.
“How are you, Liam?” You ask him and he tells a short tidbit on how he’s been.
After that, David is looking at the people behind you, and you turn and smile.
“As I told you, David, this Natasha, Wanda, and Vision.” You tell David, and he nods in greeting to them with a smile, keeping his eye on Wanda.
You turn to the three and smile. “This is my friend, D--”
“David King,” Wanda breathes out in awe. You chuckle lightly. David goes to shake everyone’s hand, saving Wanda for last.
“Oh my god, I can’t believe I’m standing with David King right now,” Wanda whispers.
“Who’s David King?” Vision asks with a confused expression. David isn’t offended, but he does turn to you, giving you a look.
“Vis,” Wanda says, almost embarrassedly. “David King is a renowned photographer. All of his works are insanely famous. Anyone he’s worked with blows up. He’s known as the Golden Eye in the industry.”
Vision furrows his brows but nods with a soft, “Oh.”
David is smiling at Wanda, “Sounds like you know your stuff.”
Wanda nods enthusiastically. “Of course! My favorite work of yours is the piece you did in Italy in the countryside. It was so beautiful, it made me feel like a child.”
David raises his eyebrow at Wanda, feeling impressed, and you knew why. Out of all of David’s work, that piece was his least popular because the purpose of it wasn’t to make anyone or anything famous. It just showcased the land and some local people.
But it was special to David because that was his hometown, where he had grown up.
He sighs, looking at you and you smirk. David turns back to Wanda, pulling out his business card and holding it out to her. She takes it, eyes wide.
“I’m still working on a project, but I’ll be done in about 6 weeks. Call this number, and my assistant will make sure you’re booked in. We’ll start collaborating then.” David says, and Wanda is shellshocked. He winks at her before turning over to you.
“You've got a good eye. I’ll catch you later for your set.” David gives you one last hug and walks off with his boyfriend.
Wanda just turns to you. “Oh my god, am I dreaming? How did you do this?”
You just laugh at her, “I didn’t really do anything. David just owes me a favor, but even I can’t force him to work with anyone he doesn’t want to. He agreed to at least meet you and clearly he liked you. That was definitely all you.”
Wanda just squeals, jumping onto you with her legs wrapped around your body. You let out a surprised yelp, immediately having to put your arms around her to keep her from falling as you laugh. Her arms are wrapped around your neck, and she’s peering down on your face.
“You’re seriously too amazing,” she says, and you just roll your eyes teasingly to play it off. You gently set her down, ruffling your hair again, looking at your watch.
“Alright, I gotta head over to prepare for the set. Grab some more drinks and put it under my name. See you at the front.” You turn to Natasha, looking at her ears again and you softly lift your fingers underneath her hair to touch her ear.
“Don’t forget your earplugs,” you tell her softly and she smiles at you and nods. You wiggle your fingers at them and walk off.
Vision turns to Wanda and sighs. “I’m going to go. Don’t stay out too late.”
Wanda frowns at him. “Now? She’s just about to play.”
“I’m quite tired,” Vision says, and Wanda doesn’t say anything even though she’s a little upset, but she doesn’t want to argue with him again. He kisses her forehead and walks off.
With Natasha left, the two girls go grab another drink before heading to the front of the stage.
“She treats you really good,” Natasha comments as they’re walking. Wanda turns her head over to look at Natasha.
“Yeah, I suppose she does.”
“Vision told Tony about how she spent the day with you on Pietro’s anniversary too.”
Wanda narrows her eyes as they’re nearing the front of the stage.
“Yeah, she’s a good friend,” Wanda says, not sure what the problem is.
Natasha nods, smiling at the younger girl. “Yes, a friend. Thanks for introducing her to me.”
The redhead puts her earplugs in as the stage begins to flash. Wanda bites her lip, refraining from grabbing Natasha’s earplugs out and throwing them as far as she could. She wanted to scream that she met you first, you were hers!
Wanda huffed silently. She wasn’t too good at sharing, and you were a really good friend.
Shaking her head, she focused back on the stage. People were cheering around her as you came out with your mask.
The beat drummed along Wanda’s spine, and she closed her eyes, dancing away. A couple songs in, Natasha seemed to get a call and a text. She swore loudly, grabbing your attention.
“Tony has a work emergency, I need to head over immediately. Tell her I’ll call later,” Natasha says, looking at the stage once more before making her way out the crowd.
You were getting into your groove when you saw Natasha look at you, holding her phone up slightly with an apologetic look as she left the crowd. You were a little confused, but you assumed something happened. You look over at Wanda who is just beaming at you.
Smiling at her, you point to her, telling her the next song is for her.
Wanda throws her head back and lets out a laugh you can’t even hear and blows you a playful kiss.

An hour passes by quick and before you know it, your time is over. You introduce the main act tonight, getting the crowd hyped up before you leave the stage. Backstage, you take off your mask and put your laptop away securely so you can bring it to your car later.
You make your way out into the crowd, finding Wanda in the same spot. She’s still dancing on her own as you come up behind her. When you tap her shoulder, she turns around and smiles widely at you, putting her arms around your neck to pull you into a hug.
“You were amazing!” Wanda yells loudly enough that it makes through your earplugs and the music. She looks a little flushed from the heat and dancing, so you hand her some water you brought along. She looks at you gratefully, taking a huge gulp of water. She gives it back to you, and you put it away in your sling bag, adjusting it back around you.
Some drunk YouTuber is flailing around dancing next to you. He’s nearly knocking into Wanda, so you wrap your arm across her collarbone to her other shoulder, pulling her closer to you and away from this menace. He’s getting too aggressive, and security at the front actually comes up to him, dragging him away from the crowd.
You sigh, rolling your eyes. You’re about to let go, but Wanda puts her hands up and settles them against your arm to keep it there. She leans her head back, resting against your shoulder and gets you both to sway with the music.
You settle your fingers more comfortably on Wanda’s arm just right under her shoulder. Your fingers automatically start tapping along with the beat, and you feel her body vibrate against you as she giggles.
The song changes and the beat starts to pick up much more. The crowd begins to jump with their hands in the air, but Wanda just spins around, facing you so close that your noses are nearly touching.
You’re both jumping to the music, but you can only focus on how you could feel her breath on your lips.
It feels like everything is happening in slow motion as you grab her hips and pull her close to you. You’re biting your tongue to hold the groan that wants to come out of your mouth, and she’s smirking at you.
Wanda closes her eyes, tilting her head back more, exposing her neck to you as she enjoys the music.
God, she was so fucking hot. You’re telling yourself to be patient, but you can’t help it when your lips ghost over her neck and she sighs.

The two of you stay until the event is over. You’re currently driving her home because apparently, Vision was her ride. Then Natasha was going to drive her home, but she also left. She still seems full of energy as she’s singing along to the radio dramatically and dancing in her seat the best she can.
You’re just smiling as you have one hand on the wheel and the other perched up on the window ledge with your head in it.
“I don’t want to go home yet,” Wanda whines.
You chuckle since it’s 3am, but you humor her.
“Alright,” you tell her, changing the route. You take her back to Manhattan Beach, and since it’s so late, there’s no one but the two of you. Getting out of the car, you guys are walking on the pier, admiring the view.
Taking a seat on the edge, you both let your bare feet swing over the water. Wanda is leaning against you, head on your shoulder as she sighs in contentment.
When she looks up at you, she grins. “What are you thinking about?”
You tilt her head down to look at her, a small smile gracing your lips.
“What I’m going to do next,” you tell her. “I don’t have any more gigs after this.”
Wanda sits up immediately, frowning. “You’re leaving?”
You shrug in response. “I did only come here for work.”
“Didn’t you say if you enjoyed it enough, you would consider moving?” Wanda recalls from the first night you both met.
“Can’t say if I’m enjoying myself enough,” you tell her hauntingly with a smirk. Wanda just laughs and slaps you on the shoulder as you rear back.
“I do actually have some collab offers to work with some local artists around here,” you tell Wanda after a moment, making sure you sound unsure if you were going to take it or not.
“You can’t leave yet,” Wanda tells you seriously. “My birthday is in a month, and I refuse to let you miss my party.”
While you knew her birthday was coming up, you grin at her attempt to make you stay. You had, of course, knew you were going to stay longer. You even already lined up some collabs to keep you busy.
Everything was progressing well, better than you may have even hoped for. You certainly didn’t miss Wanda glaring at Natasha all day, and from the looks of it, things were getting tense between Vision and Wanda.
You licked your lips, lost in thought. There was just something about Wanda that made you want her and keep her. You were entirely invested in seeing her edge.
“Well,” you say, your lips curled upwards. “I suppose I can’t miss your birthday. What a crime that would be.”
Wanda nods satisfyingly, settling back next to you with her head on your shoulder. “It would be. So, what are you getting me?”
She sounds so cheeky you can’t even hold back your laughter. “Aren’t presents supposed to be a surprise?”
You had known her birthday had been coming long before and had started working on it since the trust fund kid’s party. It was coming along together nicely, and you were just waiting for a call.
“Just a little hint?” Wanda negotiates, and you jut your chin out and purse your lips.
“How do you feel about crocs?” You ask, trying to not cackle. Wanda sits back up, narrowing her eyes at you.
“You wouldn’t dare.”
“Ask again about your present and I just might,” You warn her, eyes twinkling.
Wanda’s jaw drops, and then she shakes her head, “And you call me wicked.”
The corner of your lip quirks up.
“You have no idea.”
