Winter Flu
"Absolutely not, Potter," Draco said, trying to close his door in Harry's face.
Harry laughed, "Stop being ridiculous," he said, pushing at the door to Draco's room.
"I'm not," he said, "while I appreciate that it is our tradition to grade papers together on Friday night before we watch a movie, I cannot take that chance today."
"Draco-"
"No," he said again. "Matilda Bagweather has that horrible winter flu and you didn't have the good sense to send her out of your classroom. You've exposed yourself to it and I'm not interested in getting sick."
The door closed firmly in his face and Harry sighed, letting his forehead drop against the door. This couldn't be happening to him. Not today. Not when he'd planned to-
"Draco," he called, knocking on the door again.
"Go away, Potter!"
"I brought a Christmas movie," he cajoled. "You're really going to like this one." He was certain about White Christmas, Draco was a sucker for cheesy love stories.
The door opened a crack and Harry wiggled the DVD so he could see it. "Are you feeling any symptoms? Any scratchiness of throat, tickling in the ears, are your eyes watering?"
He rolled his eyes, "I feel fine. I feel great, actually. I just wanted to watch this movie with you."
Draco debated for a moment, Harry could see it playing out on his face, then after what felt like an eternity, the door fell open. "Fine. But you're sitting at the other end of the sofa."
-----
An hour into the movie and Draco's head was where it always ended up, in Harry's lap. And Harry certainly wasn't complaining. He combed his fingers through Draco's hair, scratching lightly at Draco's scalp with his nails, like he knew Draco enjoyed from a great deal of trial and error.
He'd slipped right into Harry's lap as he argued with the movie:
"Why is she upset?" "Why wouldn't she just talk to him!" "For Cirice's sake, getting engaged isn't going to help!" "Do you see now what could have been avoided if you'd just talked to him, you silly woman?"
But none of the ranting stopped Draco from tearing up when the General stepped into the room and everyone started applauding.
He sat up and reached for a tissue on the table, sniffling and hair askew from Harry's fingers, and Harry loved him and loved him and loved him. Godric it wasn't healthy to love someone this much. To want nothing more than to look at them and make them happy.
"I don't know why they always have to be so emotional," Draco said, turning to look at Harry. "What?" he asked, "Why are you looking at me like that?"
"I'd just really like to kiss you," he said because he'd decided that tonight was the night. No more waiting, no more holding his feelings in. It wasn't quite how he'd planned it but it would do.
"What?"
Harry shrugged unrepentantly, "I would like to kiss you," he repeated.
"Well then why haven't you?" Draco asked, sounding affronted now.
He laughed, "Well I thought I'd get your approval first."
"You have it," Draco said, "so what are you waiting for? Do I have to do everything my-"
Harry leaned in and kissed him, soft and sweet, making the butterflies in his belly take flight all around his body.
"Oh," Draco breathed when Harry drew back. "I think you should do that again."
He grinned and cupped the back of Draco's head as he leaned in to kiss him once more. When he moved away he murmured, "You're missing the ending."
Draco blinked at him and Harry nodded to the screen as the barn doors opened and the snow appeared like a backdrop. Draco leaned back against Harry and Harry wrapped an arm around him, drawing him even closer.
When the movie finished, Harry squeezed him and pressed a kiss to his cheek before he shifted and stood up.
"Where do you think you're going?"
He grinned and leaned down to press a soft, short kiss to Draco's lips once more. "My own room."
Draco raised an imperious eyebrow but Harry spoke up first.
"I want to do this right," he said softly. "I want to woo you, I want you to feel pursued. I want this to be something that lasts."
Draco blinked up at him, that guarded part of him falling away, leaving him looking young and unbearably sweet.
"You're too important to me to rush this. So," he said with a fortifying nod, "I'm going to give you one more kiss, and then I'm going to leave." He nudged Draco's foot with his own, "but before I do, I wanted to ask, would you come with me to Hogsmeade tomorrow?"
"Like a date?"
"Yes, Professor Malfoy, exactly like a date."
He smiled and stood up, wrapping his arms around Harry's neck, "Yes," he murmured, leaning in to steal a quick kiss. "I'd love to."

By the time the two of them did get the Winter Flu six weeks later, they were both all too happy to spend the time cocooned in a room, watching movies together while they recovered.

In which Floyd's transformation potion wears off, causing him to be stuck in his eel-merman form in a large tank.
Now (Y/n) has to entertain him.
Request by anon.
You had always admired the Mostro Lounge's interior design. Large tanks that lined the walls, some that connected to the vast ocean outside the building and allowed little fish and other creatures to pass through. You used to spend a lot of time watching all these adorable and innocent creatures swim past the glass facade. But now, all of them had been chased away by a vicious predator.
Floyd.
You exhaled and watched as he terrorised the last remaining guppies until they fled the tank. The large eel-merman was left alone in the tank, now bored out of his mind. There were no more little fish to torment. So he turned to you, who stood outside the tank and watched him swim around. He flashed his teeth at you, you poor little fish.
"Shrimpy!" he cried out once his head penetrated the surface of the tank. His arms were resting on the upper edge of the tank, the water from his skin dripping to the ground. He shot you a sly smile. "Come a little closer. I don't bite."
You wrapped your arms around yourself, making sure your blazer was still dry. Despite his pressing gaze, you didn't move a centimetre. "I don't wanna get wet. You splashed Azul when he gave you your lunch earlier."
Floyd let out a groan at your reply. "Shrimpy, don't be such a guppy!"
His words caused you to quirk an eyebrow. "I'm not a guppy. I have good reasons not to trust you," you said, a tad bit of playfulness lingering in your voice. You chortled softly, knowing better than to come closer to him.
"What?! I'm as innocent as those little spikeballs from the Heartslabyul garden, the ones you like to cuddle! I deserve appreciation too, don't I?" the merman whined, as if your words had offended him. He pulled his arms away from the ledge of the tank and sank to the bottom of the tank, so he could face you properly. His long tail curled around the floor as he glared at you, the glass wall being the only thing separating you two.
You shrugged softly. "Who says you won't pull me into that tank if I get closer."
"I would never. I swear on Jade."
His words drew loud laughter from your lips. You almost doubled over from how intense the wheezes were that shook your body. "You'd swear on your own brother?" you asked and held your stomach in pain. As your laughter faded out into chuckles, you gazed around the empty Mostro Lounge. "I hope he didn't hear that..."
Floyd chuckled along, but his laughter quickly turned into grumbles of annoyance again. "Come on, Shrimpy. I'm bored!" he complained again and swam circles in his tank. It was large enough to allow for vast movement, but it was empty of any entertainment. "I wanna walk again, poke your side and annoy you."
You chuckled and crossed your arms. "Yeah, you're a real menace. Maybe it's good you're stuck in that tank for a few hours," you teased him. Unable to help yourself, you stuck your tongue out at him.
Floyd clutched his chest dramatically and sank to the bottom of the tank, where he remained motionlessly. "Shrimpy, you're so mean to me..."
Laughter spilled from your lips, and you couldn't help but tap your finger nail against the glass wall. "Stop it, Floyd. You're so dramatic."
"You're breaking my heart..." the eel-merman whined before regaining life again. At the speed of light, he shot up from the ground of the tank and zoomed off into a dark corner.
You brought your face closer to the glass, your eyes scanning the vast tank. The back was littered with large stones and tall kelp plants. Even though his tail was long, he somehow managed to easily hide amongst the flora of the tank. A worried feeling made itself apparent in your stomach. "Floyd? Where are you? Come out again," you yelled out nervously.
Did your playful banter go too far? Did you actually manage to insult him.
Your head began to spin with thoughts of how hurt he must feel. Feeling awful, you desperately searched for any sign of life from him. But your eyes never managed to see past the plants and rocks in the tank. He was nowhere to be found.
With each passing minute of your fruitless search, guilt and dread weighed down your conscience. You began to feel bad about what you had said to him. Any attempt of calling out to him was met with awful silence. With Floyd gone, the empty Mostro Lounge became eerie and lifeless.
Your guilt got the better of you, and you climbed up the ladder that led to the upper ledge of the tank. Your eyes scanned the crystal clear water, but even from up there, you couldn't manage to find him amongst the kelp. With your hands tightly gripping onto the ledge, you leaned over the tank.
"Floyd... I'm sorry. I didn't mean what I said," you murmured softly. "Please come out again. I'm worried about you..."
You're met with silence again. He still seemed too hurt to reply you. Or that's what you thought at least. With all the feelings of guilt that plagued you, you didn't notice the threatening shadow that approached you from below. Your torse continued to lean over the ledge, desperately trying to find your friend in the tank.
That was until a webbed hand shot out from the water and grabbed your arm. A scream escaped your lips as you were pulled into the tank with ease. Your body toppled over the ledge and plunged into the water. Strong limbs and an even stronger tail constricted most of your panicked movement.
Your clothes felt heavy and your eyes burnt as you were finally able to open them. You came face to face with a mischievously grinning Floyd. He held you tightly, but making sure your head remained above the water. An unsettling giggle escaped his lips. "I never was mad at you. I just needed you to feel guilty and come closer to the tank so I could pull you in."
You glared at him, but your anger was only half-hearted. "You sly eel..."
Your struggling is met with carefree laughter from his side. "That's what we're known as. Smart, sly and slippery!" he exclaimed smugly and swam around the tank with you. A bright smile was plastered onto his face, akin to that of a child that had just received a present.
"I should have known this was just another one of your ploys," you murmured in dismay.
Floyd pressed you against him until you could only wheeze out your complaints. "You're like a rubber duck! So easily squeezable and cute," he cooed playfully.
"Hey, let me go!" you cried out with red cheeks.
His laughter turned louder, until it filled the entirety of the Mostro Lounge. "Sorry, no can do, Shrimpy. You're my little rubber ducky until I get my transformation potion."
"Azul! Hurry up with the potion!" you yelled out at the top of your lungs.
Before you could say more, Floyd pulled you underwater to shut you up. After a few seconds of having his fun, he pulled you up again. A giggle escaped his lips at your disoriented state. He merely soothed your strangled whines by pulling you closer, his arms circling around your waist.
An eerie smile decorated his face as he patted your head. "Oh, he can take his time. I don't mind...."

Pairings: Bangchan × fem reader
Word Count: 2.3k
Summary: You and your boyfriend got into a huge fight and you have a "special" way of reconciling.
Warnings: smut included (Minors dni). Hard dom/possessive chan, angst, angry/makeup sex, bratty sub reader, overstim/edging, unprotected sex (don't be silly wrap your willy.) Drew inspiration from Chan's bbl messages if you can tell hahaha.
More under the cut!!
Well, this honeymoon phase ended pretty quickly. How did you and your boyfriend go from finding everything adorable and cute to fighting every now and then?
You could still live with it. It was just the usual couple bickering, and it always ended with you bent over the kitchen counter or squirming under your boyfriend, so a win was a win for you.
But it never got this bad. This time, voices were raised, and insults were bouncing off the walls of your apartment.
"Y/n, I don't have time for this. Just leave me alone." Your boyfriend Chan said standing right in front of you.
"What do you mean you don't have time for this when you started it!?" Why was he pulling the victim card when he instigated this mess?
"What the fuck did I start y/n?" He was really acting innocent.
"Well, for starters, you pulled me out of a party and yelled at me in public, insinuating that i was cheating on you while you were right there? That was so embarrassing. You're being such an immature dick right now." You said.
"I'm immature? How did you expect me to react when you were basically fucking another guy just 10 inches away from me huh? Don't act stupid because I know you aren't." Okay, maybe the dance you shared with your former classmate did get a bit too intimate, but you shut it down once you saw he was getting the wrong idea.
Your boyfriend was kind of (really) overreacting right now.
"Did you just call me stupid?" You asked him cocking an eyebrow.
"Y/n I didn't call you stupid. I said, "Don't act like it." Use your head." Oh, he was actually calling you stupid.
"You're being so fucking dramatic right now Chan. You asked me who he was, and I told you he was a former classmate from high school. I told you that I fucking shut it down when I noticed he was getting the wrong message..."
"You yelled at me in PUBLIC Chan fucking hell I am not a child or your property I'm a grown woman who can think and speak for herself."
"Okay, then y/n go think for yourself into someone else's pants I don't want to have this conversation anymore." There was no way he was being serious.
"You are such an insecure bitch, I hate you so much. I can't stand you." You said.
"Then I'll leave then. Let's talk tomorrow because you're clearly confused." He turned and picked up his car keys from a tiny bowl on the kitchen island and proceeded to the door.
"No. Who said anything about tomorrow? Don't come back till you're ready to accept the fact that you're wrong and apologise to me." He stopped in his tracks and turned to face you.
"Now that's where you have it wrong. I won't be back until YOU apologise to me and cut off all contact with that guy whatshisface..." Wow, so you were both dropping ultimatums now okay.
"He has a name, and it's Brandon." You corrected him, and just at the perfectly wrong timing, you received a call, and it was Brandon. Chan took a look at your phone and laughed.
"Oh fuck off y/n." He walked out and closed the door behind him then you heard his car zoom off.
Good riddance.
You called Brandon back, and the poor guy was only calling to apologise for causing war between you and your boyfriend and even offered to speak to him on your behalf but you told him not to bother.
Not that it would even work. That would only make things worse between you and chan.
You slept it off and woke up the next day expecting to see texts and missed calls from your boyfriend, but you got nothing.
You were a bit hurt because part of you hoped that he would come crawling back, but you couldn't have everything you asked for. Could you?
It was 4 p.m. now, and you had successfully spent your day lazing about and binge watching a crappy sitcom on Netflix.
You missed your boyfriend. You really did, but you had to be strong because you knew you weren't the one in the wrong.
God, you were so pathetic. You hadn't even eaten all day because of a man, and it made you remember how mad he'd get if he realised that you were skipping meals and not taking care of yourself properly.
Life was so sickening without him (it had only been a day).
You decided you were going to make yourself a quick sandwich because you were already dying of heartbreak, and it'd be wrong to add hunger to your struggles.
6:30 p.m., you received a text from Chan saying he was coming over to pick up his stuff and added that you could throw them out if you wanted to.
He was so dramatic. You replied to him with a simple "fine" and turned off your phone.
You were just about to start making your sandwich when you heard a key turn in the lock.
He was here to pick up his stuff.
You were so happy to see him, but you had to keep your cool and act like you weren't because you didn't want to stroke his already inflated ego.
"Am I not going to get a hey or anything?" He said after he had come in and locked the door, but you completely ignored him and kept on eating your sandwich at the kitchen island.
"So you're ignoring me now, huh? You gon do me like that?" You still didn't pay any attention to him and kept munching on your sandwich.
You heard him scoff and watched him find his way into your once shared bedroom.
You shouldn't have looked up at him, though, because now you were horny. Did he really have to wear the grey sweatpants and compression shirt combo today? Of all days?
He was definitely doing this on purpose. He knew what he was doing, but no, you weren't going to give in.
He came out of the bedroom carrying his two suitcases and proceeded to the living area to pack up his console and the other things that accompany it.
You stood up from the chair you were eating on, and you were now leaning backwards with your elbows rested on the kitchen island.
You were watching his every move in silence.
You expected him to just finish packing his stuff and leave, but he stopped halfway, got up, and started walking towards you?
He came closer till there was only an inch of space between you two, and you had to crane your neck upwards to look at him.
"Baby, what are we even doing?" He said and your stomach did a thousand flips.
"I don't know you tell me." You were determined not to fold today.
"What do I have to do to make you come back to me." He sighed and placed his hands on your hips. Fuck.
You placed your hands on his and took them off your hips, and widened the gap between you two a bit.
"Come on." He said in an almost whiny tone.
"Beg me." You didn't even think before you spoke, but that was the smartest thing you had said in a while.
Your boyfriend looked at you unbelievably and scoffed at you like there was no way he was going to do it.
"You can just pack up and leave if you aren't going to do it." You were doing so good.
"Okay, fine, you win." There was no way he was actually agreeing to this.
"Y/n, I'm so sorry for being an insecure and immature boyfriend. I acted like a dick and I was in the wrong but it's been hell without my girl and I miss her so fucking much my heart hurts, my tummy hurts, my head hurts and I can't even think straight it feels like the walls are closing in on me and I'm going to stop breathing at any second..."
"Bro, okay, I accept. Stop being a drama queen." You said half laughing at your boyfriend.
"Does that mean I can kiss you now?" He asked.
"Say, please." Maybe you just wanted to hear him beg a tiny bit more.
"Please y/n can I kiss you, please?" He was surprisingly playing along well.
"Ye-"
You felt his lips on yours before you could even finish your sentence. Oh God, you missed this. You missed him.
You guys were kissing each other so hungrily with tongues gliding in and out of each other's mouths. You could feel his hard on against you and you wanted nothing more than for him to fuck you.
Chan bit your lower lip, and you felt him smile against your lips when you let out a moan. He was so damn cocky.
You started to undo the strings to his pants, but when he realised what you were doing, he broke the kiss and moved away from you.
You were slightly (very) confused as to why he did that, and you're pretty sure you whined as he broke contact between you two.
He looked at you up and down and bit his lip.
"When did you get this skirt? Is it new?"
You looked down at what you were wearing and it was even too short to be called a skirt but you were at home so who cares?
"It's not new. I've had it for years, but I stopped wearing it because it got too short." Why were you guys talking about clothes when he could be breaking your back right now?
"I want to be rough with you." Oh, you were so back.
"Then be rough with me." You replied, looking straight into his eyes.
"Fuck." Chan said. Before you could even say anything else, you were being hoisted up onto the kitchen island, and chan went back to devouring your lips.
He went down to your neck with a hunger, and your hands went into his hair. He was definitely leaving marks on your skin.
You were moaning his name uncontrollably, and you guys hadn't even gotten started yet. Maybe absence does really make the heart grow fonder.
He stopped kissing you once again, but this time, he was giving instructions.
"Get down and take off your clothes." You got down immediately and started to comply, but he stopped you when you got to the skirt.
"No, not that. I want to fuck you in it." You died a little at that statement.
"Take off your panties." He said.
"I'm not wearing any." You're a 100% sure you saw his eyes darken at that statement.
"Okay, turn around and rest on the island." You complied without saying a word.
Your cheeks were met with the cold marble and you could feel your ass and pussy completely exposed to him.
You felt chan come closer to you, and you let out a moan when he started to rub his dick in between your folds teasing your entrance.
You thought he was finally going to fill you with his dick but instead, you were met with a hard slap on your ass and you let out the nastiest moan ever.
One slap turned into two, three turned into four, and your cheeks were stained with tears.
Chan gave you no time to collect yourself as he pushed himself inside you and thrusted agonisingly slowly to gain a rhythm.
You started whining from how slow he was going and as if he knew he started pounding into you as fast as he could.
He filled you so well it was like you were two pieces of a puzzle.
He was fucking you so well you were loosing your mind and your stamina.
Chan noticed and used one hand to steady you then continued his assault on your pussy.
You started feeling that familiar feeling in your stomach and you knew you were about to cum.
"Chan, please don't stop." You begged.
He, in fact, did not stop, but just as you were about to reach your high, he pulled out and left you an unsatisfied mess.
"Did you really think it was going to be that easy?" He asked you in the most condescending tone ever.
"You liked it when I acted all weak and nice, huh? Well, it's your turn now." Fuck. You should have known there was a catch.
He smacked your ass once again and your pussy clenched around nothing.
"Not so confident now, are you?" He taunted.
"Chan I'm sorry please just fuck me please." You begged hoping to make things better for yourself.
"What do you want?" He asked you.
"I want to cum chan please make me cum." You whined.
"You'll have to earn it because only good girls get to cum." He said that and went back to destroying your insides.
This man edged you not once but three times.
At this point, you were sobbing uncontrollably, and you were worn out.
"Who does this pussy belong to?" He asked while thrusting in and out of you at the speed of light.
"You Chan." You said through tears.
"Who do you belong to?" He asked.
"You chan." You struggled to get that last one out.
"That's my good girl." He said and finally let you cum. Your release hit you like a brick, and he came right after you, too. You felt so full that you were literally on cloud 9.
Chan lifted you from the island immediately after, turned you to face him, and gave you a kiss on your forehead.
"You know I love you, right?" He asked, and you nodded.
"Let's not fight anymore, okay?
"Okay." You answered, and he pulled you in for a hug.
You were so back!
You did lie about one thing, though. The makeup sex was too good for you guys to stop fighting.
There were many more fights to come.

I chewed my lip as I stared up at the building before me. If this were any other situation, I would've turned on my heel and run by now. But there were two little girls, one on either side of me, who needed me to be strong. This was their best hope of being safe, which meant all of my stuff needed to take a back seat.
I took a deep breath, trying not to let the girls sense just how nervous I was, then started heading for the door to the bar. It was the middle of the day, so hopefully no one would mind me bringing two kids in with me.
Caroline and Ric had trusted me with Josie and Lizzie, and I refused to let them down. Some new supernatural none of us knew existed had come to town and, worse, had started going after the girls. So, I'd sat down with their parents, and we'd figured out a plan to keep them safe: take them to the bigger, badder supernatural who I used to know.
My eyes scanned the bar for the familiar face of Klaus Mikaelson, and after a moment, I found him. He was leaning against the counter talking to the bartender, and I was surprised he couldn't hear my heart beating out of my chest from here. I hadn't seen him in years, and I'd also rejected him the last time I saw him. But he was the best chance the girls had, so I was just going to have to hope he didn't hate me now.
I cleared my throat, shook my nerves off as well as I could, herded the girls into a booth where I could keep an eye on them, then turned to face the bar. I found Klaus already looking at me, his arms crossed and a curious look on his face as he leaned against the counter. A wave of emotions hit me at once, but I shoved back against the feeling, squaring my shoulders and putting one foot in front of the other until I stood in front of Klaus.
"Hello, love," he said, and my heart damn near stopped in my chest. I took a deep breath. "It's good to see you again."
"It's... it's good to see you again, too."
And it was. Most of my friends had been relieved when Klaus finally left town, and they'd freaked out the minute they found out he'd come back to see me. And at the time, I'd convinced myself they were right, and that it was better he was gone. But standing before him now, that slight smirk on his face, I realized I had really, really missed him.
"So what brings you to New Orleans?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. He looked past me to where the girls were playing a clapping game in the booth. "I take it it has something to do with them."
I sighed. "Yeah. Yeah, it does."
"And who's the father?"
Now it was my turn to cross my arms and raise an eyebrow.
"They're actually not mine. But I'd say you don't have a lot of room to judge, considering the reason you moved to New Orleans in the first place."
"Who said I was judging? I was just trying to gauge how jealous I might need to be."
I huffed a laugh, trying and failing to hide my smile by glancing at the ground. Nik grinned at me, and for just a flash of a moment, it was like nothing had changed between us since the last time I'd seen him.
But then I heard Josie and Lizzie behind me, and I remember why I'd come here in the first place. I sighed and met Nik's eyes again.
"I need your help."
His eyebrows immediately drew together, and he straightened up from the bar, taking a half step towards me. The intensity of his worried stare made my heart melt.
"What's wrong, love?"
"There's a new supernatural in town. Or a few new ones, I guess. We're struggling a little bit to deal with them, and they've made Josie and Lizzie their targets. Caroline and Ric are their parents for all intents and purposes, and we sat down and decided our best chance at keeping the girls safe is if I left with them, alone, and came to you."
"And whose idea was that?"
"...Mine. It... actually took a lot of convincing for Ric and Caroline to let me bring them to you."
A hint of a smile flickered across Nic's face as he huffed a barely audible laugh. His beautiful blue eyes met mine with the intensity I'd seen a thousand times for both good and bad moments, and it made my heart race.
"You will always be welcome here, with me. I'll keep the three of you safe."
Relief washed over me. I closed my eyes, taking a minute, and when I opened them again I found Nik still watching me intently. I thought he might lean in for a hug or a kiss or something else, but instead, he just gave me a small smile and nodded in the direction of the girls.
"Mind introducing me?"
The girls absolutely loved Nik from the first moment they met him, and he was nothing but sweet and patient and kind. He made a few absolutely ridiculous jokes that had them falling out of their chairs laughing, and had my heart melting all over again. We left the bar together, the four of us strolling through the streets of New Orleans as Nik led us to his home. He glanced over at me a few times with the roguish smile I'd come to love, and despite the fact that I'd come here on the run to protect the girls, I couldn't help enjoying this moment with him. In different circumstances, it might've just felt right.
"We're almost home, but I just had a thought," said Nik, his arm swinging back and forth with Lizzie's as they marched down the street together. Lizzie and Josie held hands, and I did the same with Josie, making us a little chain. I turned to smile at Nik over the girls' heads.
"And what's that?" I asked. Nik smiled at me, then turned his attention to the girls.
"My favorite ice cream place in the whole of the city is very close to here. Does anyone else feel like we ought to make a pitstop?"
"YES!" the girls screamed in unison. I laughed as Nik stopped abruptly, turning on his heel and then pulling us in the other direction.
"Alright, come on then!"
The girls cheered as they marched after him, and my heart soared as I followed along behind the three of them. I'd gotten to see Nik like this every so often in Mystic Falls, but a lot of our interactions were colored by whatever drama he and his family had going on with my friends and I. Being with him, like this, and seeing him being so amazing with the girls was seriously doing something to me.
"This place really does have the best ice cream," Nik assured me as we stepped inside and joined the line, the girls bouncing excitedly in front of us as we stood shoulder to shoulder. "Hope loves it."
"Hope... how is she? How's... how's Hayley?"
Nik smirked. "They're both good. We've had our rough patches, but Hayley and I have found our rhythm as coparents despite not being together."
I released a breath I hadn't realized I'd been holding, and Nik laughed.
"Now look who's trying to gauge their jealousy."
I rolled my eyes, but couldn't hold back a grin all the same.
"Whatever. But... you're happy? Being a dad, and being here, and... and everything?"
The corner of Nik's mouth quirked up, but the smile didn't reach his eyes.
"Like anything, it's had its ups and downs. But I wouldn't trade Hope for anything in the world."
I nodded, and the two of us fell into comfortable silence as we worked our way through the line. The girls were ecstatic to try their cones, and Nik recommended his favorite flavor to me, which lived up to the hype he'd promised. The four of us wandered slowly the rest of the way to our destination, which turned out to be an absolutely massive compound in the middle of the French Quarter.
Nik pushed open the door and led us inside just as the sun began to set outside. I came to a stop in the beautiful open space just inside the front doors, staring around at it in awe.
"C'mon, love," Nik said gently, resting a hand on my back and guiding me in the direction of the stairs. "Let's get the girls settled in for the night."
I just nodded, putting my focus back on the girls as we followed Nik through the massive compound. He pushed open one of the many doors along the second floor, letting us into a bedroom with two beds. I even spotted a few kids books on the shelves to one side of the room.
I slid my eyes to Nik with a raised eyebrow, but he just shrugged.
"For Hope, and any friends she might decide to bring over when the time comes. No reason to not be prepared, especially since we have the space for it." The corner of my mouth tugged up into a smile, that warm feeling spreading in my chest again. "I'll bring a few of her pajamas in, they should fit these two alright."
"Thanks."
"Of course, love."
Between the two of us, Nik and I managed to get the girls settled down and in bed in under an hour. They'd had a long, tiring day, after all, and if I weren't practically jittering with nerves after the afternoon I'd spent with Nik I'm sure I would've been right behind them.
Instead, I found myself following him after we closed the door to the girls' room, going who knows where in this massive house in his new life since he'd left Mystic Falls. After a few moments, I couldn't really take the silence anymore, so I spoke up.
"Where are the rest of the Mikaelsons?" I asked, my voice thankfully even. "I'd expected to see at least one of the siblings by now."
Nik turned to give me a little smirk over his shoulder, and I hated that he could probably hear my heart race.
"They're busy with other things for the night. And Hope is with Hayley having a mother-daughter weekend away from everything. It's just us, tonight."
My heart sped up even more, although that shouldn't have been possible. After a moment, Nik led me into the kitchen and headed straight for the refrigerator. I took a seat at one of the high stools at the counter, watching him as he moved.
"I assume you still like hot chocolate more than most other drinks?" asked Nik without turning around. I smiled.
"Absolutely. I know it's been a little while, but come on Nik, I'm not a completely different person."
He paused to give me a smile over his shoulder, then continued in his hot chocolate preparations. I scratched at something on the counter while he worked, trying to get up the courage to talk about all the million things hanging in the air before us. Finally, I cleared my throat and forced myself to look up, watching Nik's back as I spoke.
"Thank you for this, by the way. For taking us in, even after... Well, even after I told to leave me and Mystic Falls."
Nik sighed, bringing our two mugs of hot chocolate over and setting them down on the counter before walking around to stand in front of me. We were barely an inch apart, but he didn't make a move to close the distance anymore. I'd set a boundary the last time I'd seen him, and he clearly had no intention of crossing it.
"I will always be here for you if you need me, love. If you seek me out for refuge, or to change your mind and take me up on my offer to show you the world, or even because I make the best hot chocolate in the entire world and you just can't live without it... I'll be waiting."
I stared up at Nik, a slight twinkle in his eye, as I fought to keep tears out of my own. He'd truly caused so many problems in Mystic Falls. My friends' dislike-to-hate of him made sense. But he'd always been sweet and funny, patient and kind and understanding, with me. If I was totally honest with myself, I'd been starting to fall in love with him before I'd decided to side with my friends and push him away.
"Don't cry, love. It's alright," he said, his eyes scanning my face. I hiccupped, the tears finally starting to fall, a combination of all the different emotions and stressors of my past few days coming together and overwhelming me at once. I'd held it together for the girls, but now they were in bed and taken care of, so I could safely fall apart.
I leaned forward, falling into Nik's chest, and he wrapped his arms tightly around me the moment I did.
"It's alright. You're safe with me."
That brought on a whole new wave of tears, not just for the stress of the day, but for everything I'd lost with Nik, too. He just held me tighter, rubbing soothing circles on my back as I let it all out, then slowly started to calm down.
I pulled back slightly once I managed to get ahold of myself. One of Nik's hands stayed on my arm, and he brought his other hand up to gently cup my face, wiping away a few of the tears with his thumb.
"What can I do, love? Tell me how I can help you and I'll do it."
I choked back another sob, this one turning into a half-laugh.
"You've already done enough, Nik. More than enough. It's just... it's been such a long day. I feel like I've been barely holding back a complete stress breakdown for like a week, and I always had the girls with me so I had to keep it together..."
"Well then, why don't we get you settled into a room so you can get some sleep, hm? We can always talk more in the morning."
Nik started to move to help me off the stool and up to bed, but I stopped him, hands resting on his biceps. He raised an eyebrow at me but didn't move away.
"No, Nik. I don't want to talk tomorrow, I need to say this. I... I love you."
Any hint of humor or lightness dropped off Nik's face, replaced by completely serious shock. My heart was racing out of my chest, and I knew he could hear it, but I pushed on anyway.
"I think I was falling in love with you before, and I didn't want to admit it to myself. But being with you here, now... it feels right. There are a bunch of powerful murderers chasing me, trying to hurt two kids whose parents have trusted me, exclusively, with their safety, and I'm in a strange city far from anywhere I've ever called home. But for some reason I just feel... happy. Happy to see you again, happy to spend time with you, about a thousand times calmer than I was without you. You feel like home, Nik, and I love you. I just... that just feels like something you should know."
Nik's eyes had been scanning and searching my face intently the entire time I'd been talking, the slightest hint of wetness gathering in his own eyes. A smile tugged at the corner of his mouth once I'd finished speaking, and he brought his hand back up to cup my face, his thumb brushing lightly over my cheek.
"I don't think I've made it any secret how I feel about you, love," he said, voice soft and tender. "But in case you need to hear it again, I love you. Always and forever."
A few tears managed to sneak out and down my cheeks again, but this time I had a smile on my face. Nik's expression mirrored my own.
"Once... once all of this is over, do you think... well, maybe I could come back here. To New Orleans, once the girls are safe back home. That is, if... if your offer to follow you to New Orleans still stands from the first time you extended it?"
Nik beamed back at me. "I can honestly tell you that absolutely nothing would make me happier."
My smile grew to the point of pain as I stared up at Nik, a light in his eyes that I'd missed much more than I'd realized. I leaned forward just slightly, Nik mirroring my move as I glanced at his lips. One corner of his mouth rose higher in the troublemaking smirk that always made my heart race before he closed the rest of the distance between us, his lips meeting mine, soft at first and then with the same urgency pulsing in my heart.
I'd kissed him before, but it had always been tempered by concern for my friends, and about what they'd think. But this time, as fireworks exploded in my chest and thousands of butterflies took off in my stomach, I couldn't bring myself to care.
I was safe and happy in the arms of the man I loved, kissing him senseless. I'd missed out on a lot of times like this, but from now on, I didn't intend to let anything keep me from spending every second I could just like this, friends and insane supernatural threats be damned. Always and forever.

Am I doing the wrong thing?
Hi everyone. Thank you for reading and liking my previous creation, it meant a lot to me. As you may have discovered I am deeply in love with Mr. Sae Itoshi (and many others btw I just struggle with creativity) and here I brought you another Sae x reader fanfiction that I hope you will enjoy. Any recommendations and requests you'd like to see are accepted and in the future I'll try creating those "delusions" for you all. I appreciate all of your support and once again, it means a lot to me. <3 Now go ahead and enjoy.
WARNING: VULGAR LANGUGE = SWEARING --> PROCEED ONLY IF YOU'RE COMFORTABLE!! About the story: You are a manager in blue lock who got pushed into this because your father couldn't understand why you'd hate soccer for 'no reason'. This is why he he contacted your uncle, Ego Jinpachi to take you in as a manager right after the program starts.
Actually it is quite convenient, this means no school for you and instead you get a paper that says that you worked as a professional manager for x time.
Also... maybe your mother also supporthed your dad's view because she is sick of you being at home and gaming, reading, watching videos and sleeping all the time.
Maybe the reason Ego and Anri want to push you towards romance is actually because of your mom. Although you doubt your dad knows this. AS he'd definietely be against it, even if you grow to like the sport.
But that's just your hunch.
This will obviously be longer than a oneshot but I don't plan on making it very long.
-part 1-
As blue lock’s manager you’ve seen many many supposedly handsome men. However none of them ever caught your eye. No matter how many times Anri-chan teased you, being their age and all, you couldn’t find anyone that seemed special from a romantic point of view.
But there were two guys who you knew particularly well. That was Seishiro Nagi and Rin Itoshi. The former you went to kindergarten with, not to mention you lived next to each other and shared hobbies together. It was natural for you to become friends who kept in touch till this day.
The latter, Rin, you know him from highschool. Your parents moved away just before your highschool years so you had to make yourself familiar with the new streets, the new people, and of course high school. Him and you were seatmates for as long as you two remember and while sometimes you wished someone else sat nearby, you both enjoyed the other’s company.
There they both were, it was pure fate bringing you and your friends together, through those two you got to know Yoichi Isagi, Bachira and many more better. You had to admit what those two had was already intriguing but as time passed and you followed Isagi’s growth, he drew you in more.
You went from despising football to becoming fascinated with it. Not that you’d play it yourself.
In the U-20 match you saw Sae for the first time. Till then Rin only talked about him, and eventually he seemed to fess up at his name’s mention. But you never interfered in what might’ve happened. Rin would’ve told you if he was comfortable with it. You were positive about that.
Now, he was the man who caught your eye. Those beautiful movements that could destroy anyone in a split second. You felt like if you looked away you’d lose him. “Never seen you staring that hard.” Your uncle smirked, taking his eyes off his diamonds in the rough. “Ego-san let her be, it was time for her to start taking an interest in someone.” Anri giggled and leaned on the top of your head. “Stop it- seriously, I just think he’s good… and maybe too beautiful to be an actual football star.”
After the match you got a piece of paper from Rin. He frowned as he handed it to you explaining how Ego and Anri instructed him to give you Sae’s number. “Add what do you even want with this? Don’t tell me you fell for that piece of shit already!” His eyebrows twitched in anger. Your face went beet red. ‘Should I take his number? But that would mean I admit that he was interesting. Why do those two love cornering me? This is worse than getting killed in League (Leage Of Legends) more than the times you die. WHY IS IT ALWAYS ME IN THESE SITUATIONS??’
“Oi? Earth to Miss manager?” He sighed and just tossed the paper in your hand. He was much moodier after this match then you would’ve anticipated him to be. Guess that stolen-not stolen goal from Isagi really struck a nerve.
As the boys were changing, Ego and Anri were on a conference or whatever with the old geezers you decided to go up to look down at the football court. A few months ago you despised football from the bottom of your heart, and now thanks to your father you are a manager working with your uncle and Anri.
Deep in your thoughts you didn’t notice a silent crimson haired guy lean on the railing just like you. “Are you Y/N L/N?” He asked, making you turn to him and crumple the paper in your hand. “Y-yes.” Oh lord. The Sae Itoshi approached you while he had not even the slightest idea of you and not to mention the state you were in. You just discovered you might like Rin’s older brother, which he’ll definitely be salty about, and now you were red and sweaty too.
He scoffed. “Ego Jinpatchi said you were worth a few minutes, so who are you?” ‘Huh? My uncle said that? Why would he say that? That’s dipshit. I am boring as a rock- unless he is me, but this sport driven prodigy is in no way like me? Why would he say that.’
“He did? Y-yeah well, of course I am as interesting as the deep sea for divers..haha” You gulped.
“I don’t know what to tell you, truth be told I’m terrible at making small talk or talking about myself.”
“Yeah, me too, usually comes out to be pretty awkward.” He sighed. “So? Get it over with, I have nothing better to do anyway.” He wiped his bangs out of his face. He probably just showered, he didn’t look sweaty… and also, you hate to admit but the shampoo he used really made you fall harder.
You sighed and tried hitting those stupid thoughts out of your brain. ‘FOCUS’ “Well, I am the same age as Rin, so two years younger than you- as far as I know, I go to his school. I hate football, but watching it lately has been strangely fulfilling my boredom. I am Ego’s niece and Blue Lock’s manager.” You pondered what else you could say when Sae reached out to grab the piece of crumpled paper from your grasp. “Wait no-” His eyes went over it. “Why do you have my number?” You try laughing it off.
“I guess there are two adults who really love playing cupid today…” You sigh as you become more and more annoyed at those two matchmakers. “They really want my forever single ass to find a love interest you see, so they do everything they can to achieve this.” “Well if you had texted me I wouldn’t have answered either way.” “Well I thought as much prodigy..” hinting that he’s way out of your league.
“Actually, let’s do this. My parents are pestering me that they’ll be stuck without a granddaughter so they’ve been trying to control my love life through my manager. All the way back in Spain too. Quite a pain in the ass if you ask me.”
“So, you want me to be your girlfriend?” Your eyes widen and your eyebrows run up like you never though they could. In one word, you were shocked to your core. “More precisely, fake dating.” He nodded. “Beneficial for the both of us and there won’t be any harm.” ‘When did my life become a soap opera/shojo anime/romance movie??’ “Are you for real?” You gulp while blushing. Fake dating usually starts with both people hating, or not liking each other. You failed that the moment you saw that face. And here you are now.
The same boy who you never thought would talk to you in any form, was asking for a fake relationship. To make his parents calm down??
He grabbed your hand and pulled you closer. You look up to him still unable to contain yourself. “So is this a yes?” “I have no idea.” “Well you have till I’m here to decide.” “But this is ridiculous. You are a star in this industry and you live your life in Spain, now you want me to be your fake girlfriend.”
“You don’t seem like a bad person.” He chuckled. Now one thing you know 100% that if Rin can’t smile if he’s not happy then he’s the same. Plus that genuine Itoshi smile is undeniably unmistaken. It’s one of a kind.
“Okay.” You gulped. “I’ll be your girlfriend.” You still had no idea what this would mean for your future or his but life is about making stupid decisions in the end. 'No? Do you not agree?'
See you in the next part. Have a nice day/night/etc. -> part 1 (HERE) -> part 2

HALLEY'S COMET- seven.
{WARNINGS}: swearing, wee bit of arguing, LOVE CONFESSION YAY
w.c- 1,379
a.n- SURPRISEEEE SHAWTAYYY!
{TAGLIST}: @lacy1986 @collisionofyourkissmakesitsohard @chey-h @rumoured-whispers @oobleoob @dontwantthemoney @n0n3xsisting
i sat in my bunk for the rest of the night, trying to fall asleep but i couldn't. instead, i drew in my notebook and wrote down the occasional lyric that popped into my mind.
fuck. this was going to be good.
READER'S POV.
today was another day, which meant yet another unbearable show with noah. i decided to make the most of it, though. i wasn't going to let anything bring me down.
he'd been in a bitchy mood all day, but it really wasn't my place to investigate or stick my nose where it didn't belong. instead, i walked around the arena as i fiddled with my camera, adjusting the settings and making sure it was ready for the show tonight. like always, i wasn't paying a lick of attention to where i was going. despite that, i could feel noah's eyes on me. staring me down like a hawk.
before i knew it, he was approaching me with that scowl on his face.
"why are you so happy today? it's making me sick." he spat.
i raised an eyebrow, stopping in my tracks and looking up at him. "why are you so grumpy?"
"doesn't matter. do you have to be so happy all the time? it's getting on my nerves."
"yes, because unlike someone here, i actually enjoy life." i countered.
"i enjoy life, thank you very much." he said, looking down at me as he crossed his arms. "i just hate hearing you hum and seeing you wandering around like a lost puppy. you're gonna drive me into insanity."
"right." i said, looking back down at my camera.
"why can't you just be miserable like the rest of us?" noah mumbled as he moved closer to me. he was practically towering over me at this point, being at least a foot taller than me.
"not everybody is as miserable as you." i corrected. "and i prefer to focus on the good parts of life rather than the bad."
"what if there aren't any good parts?" he asked. he was being serious, he always saw the world in a negative view. he hated the way things were going, and i could tell.
i raised an eyebrow. "don't sound so miserable. there's not one good part in your life?" i asked.
he rolled his eyes. "it's called depression, sweetheart. ever heard of it?"
"course i have, idiot. what about your parents?"
noah rolled his eyes again. "you think they care? they're part of the reason i ended up like this."
"okay... what about your friends?"
he sighed, looking over at folio, nicholas, and jolly. "i mean— my bandmates are fine. they just don't know how to read a person."
he pointed to folio. "he's too damn happy." he pointed to nicholas. "he doesn't understand sarcasm half the time." he pointed to jolly. "and he's the sweetest guy that you'll ever meet. too damn sweet. "they don't know what I'm going through, or what I'm feeling."
"then tell them." i suggested. "nobody's gonna know what you're going through or if you need help if you keep it bottled up inside all the time."
noah scoffed. "seriously? telling my feelings will make me look weak. they wont understand, anyways. i'll just sound stupid and dramatic."
i furrowed my brows, crossing my arms. "that's not true. you're not stupid or dramatic for asking for help."
he sighed and looked at me again. "you don't know anything about me, okay? you don't know what i'm going through. what i've been through."
"oh, i wonder why? maybe because you refuse to talk about it. grow up, noah. i'm trying to help you, and you're blatantly pushing me away and refusing it." i scoffed.
he frowned deeply. "i am grown. and i didn't ask for your help anyways."
"yes, you're grown physically. mentally? no."
he scowled. "and who are you to tell me these things? you don't know what's going on in my head. don't act like you know me."
"i'm not. i'm trying to help you. let me help you for once." i said, my eyes softening. i knew he was hurting, i knew he was in pain. but i couldn't do anything about it if he didn't let me in.
"well i don't want your help." he snapped back. "i don't need you or your shitty advice. i'm fine on my own."
i shrugged, trying to pretend his words didn't hurt me. "okay." i said, walking off just like that. he didn't want my help? he wouldn't have it.
i could hear him call my name for me to come back, but i ignored him. i was tired and hungry and really not in the mood to deal with his bullshit.
before i knew it, he was coming up behind me, grabbing my wrist. i sighed, turning around. "what?"
he looked at the ground, biting his lip. "i didn't mean it.." he said.
i furrowed my brows. "which part?"
"um.. everything, actually."
i was beyond confused. what the hell was he talking about? he took a deep breath, and i could tell shit was about to go down.
NOAH'S POV.
i stood in front of her, looking at the ground. i knew that if i looked at her, her eyes would be all it took for me to spill everything i ever thought. which i ended up making the mistake of doing. my breath caught in my throat as i looked at her.
"Y/N, i... fuck how do i say this?" i mumbled, running a hand over my face.
"spit it out, noah. i don't have all day."
i took a deep breath, looking back at her. "the real reason i broke it off with bailey.. it because i'm in love with someone else. i knew that bailey couldn't give me what i wanted. she couldn't give me the life i wanted to live, the happiness i know i deserve." i said.
"and how does this come back to me?" she asked.
"you're that someone else." i said.
she froze, looking at me with wide eyes. fuck. i just messed it all up. all because i couldn't keep my mouth shut and i just had to tell her how i felt. good job noah, now you just ruined everything.
which is what i thought before i felt her lips on mine.
oh.
oh.
she feels the same.
i melted into the kiss, my eyes closing as i gently cradled her face. i knew i didn't deserve this. i didn't deserve her love or her patience or anything about her. how could i? i'd been nothing but a huge dick to her for years. how could she ever feel the same?
she pulled away and i looked down at her, breathing slightly heavy. "how..."
"because i know you, noah. i know you never meant to hurt anybody. you just didn't know any better. you didn't know how to confront these feelings. you were confused. and that's okay. it's okay." she said softly.
i could feel tears well in my eyes, and for the first time in a while, i didn't feel so alone. i felt loved. i felt happy. i knew that this was what i wanted for the rest of my life. to be with her. to be loved by her. maybe a marriage and a few kids to top it all off.
woah, too fast.
i took a deep breath, wrapping my arms around her in a tight hug. "thank you.." i whispered.
"for what?" she asked.
"for loving me, despite how i treated you."
she pulled away with that smile i loved oh so much, cradling my face. "don't thank me. thank yourself for deciding to open up. you don't have to be scared, noah. i'm not her." she said softly, and that just made me tear up even more.
i knew she wasn't bailey. bailey couldn't even compare to the way Y/N made me feel. but the reassurance was the only thing i needed to be so sure about the way i felt.
i loved her. and i needed her. more than i needed air.
"now come on," she began. "we have a show to get ready for. then we can pick up right where we left off."

Hidden Anger {Hermes x Shinobu!Goddess!Reader}

A repost from my previous blog
I need to stop with writing ror stuff with kny I swear
There will be a part where I'll use a scene with Tanjiro and Shinobu (y'know, THAT scene) but I'll alter it
_______________
The Messager God watched you greet the other gods with your signature smile, feeling a sense of suspension the more he watched you.
He really didn't know why, but something about you seemed.. off.
You were always smiling no matter what. Don't get him wrong, he thought you have a pretty smile, but he felt like you were hiding something. Hermes frowned, deep in his thoughts. He felt someone nudge his shoulder and to no surprise, it was his brother Ares, who noticed his brother's staring.
"Never expected you to be staring at (Y/n)." Ares teased, his lips forming a smirk. Hermes never looked at his brother and averted his gaze elsewhere.
"I have no clue what you're saying." Hermes replied, his hands behind his back and his face tinted a slight red. Ares shrugged and moved away from his brother.
Nighttime~~
Hermes was on his way to return to his room when he picked up the sounds of someone softly singing. He stopped, listening to the song very carefully. As a God who loves music, anything related to that always grabbed his attention. Instead, he made his way to the source of the singing, quite surprised to see it was coming from you. Hermes went closer to you, his eyes widen when he saw the tears in your eyes.
"Why are you singing at this time of night?" He asked, watching you jump up in surprise.
"It's nothing. I do this every night. Now please go back." You urged the God, trying to shoo him away. Hermes refused to go until he got the answers he needed.
"Not until you answer my question." The God spoke, staring you down.
"There's nothing to answ-"
"Are you angry?" Hermes cut you off with the very question he wanted to ask since he met you. For the first time, your smile fell. Everything was silent for a while.
"I....." You started off, but your voice was quieter at the last few words.
"I guess you can say that." Your legs curled up to your chest, resting your head on one of your arms.
"I suspected as much. Now, may I ask why?" The God couldn't stop wondering, you thought to yourself. You should at least half expected him.
"Well, ever since my eldest sister was murdered, the anger in me just grew stronger. Deep inside me, there's hatred that I can't quiet." You confessed. Hermes cocked an eyebrow, slightly shocked to hear your confession. This was a surprise on his end...
"I see..." For the first time, he was speechless. He was never told about your past, nor did he even bother asking about it. Well, now he understood why you were visibly upset when you were asked.
"You're actually the first to hear this since I never let myself get too close with anyone." You added, standing up while looking at the dark haired God. Hermes gave you a smile and bow down slightly.
"Would you like me to keep you company?" He asked. You stared at his hand and took it in your hand. You nodded and let him guide you back to your room. Honestly, you could've done it yourself but with all the varying emotions inside you, you just let the god beside you take you back to your room.
"Thank you, Hermes." You whispered, your lips forming your signature smile. This time it was genuine. Hermes bowed his head and made his way to your door. Once the door was closed, you plopped down on your bed, staring up at the ceiling. You took your butterfly pin out of your hair, staring at it while brushing your thumbs along the wings.
You remembered the words your elder sister told you. Before she had to fight and minutes before she drew her last breath.
"We've only had each other for so long after our parents passed away, and we love each other dearly. But I think you should find someone to love. I've already found him, and you need to as well."
"Once you find him or her, Don't push them away. Let them in your heart."
You remember her soft hand holding your cheek while you held her in your arms.
"I'd hate to see the smile I love so much disappear..." Those were her last words before she died in your arms.
You remember sobbing so much you nearly ran out of tears. She was the only person you've truly loved in your life.
Or so you thought...

Wind felt miserable.
Not that he hadn't felt worse, of course. Because he totally had. Getting almost killed by Ganondorf? Way worse.
But still. He felt pretty bad.
His head was pounding. His nose was all stuffed up. His throat was scratchy, and his stomach churned uncomfortably. It wasn't the end of the world, really. It just... sucked.
Wind shifted uncomfortably in the bed. He could see dull light shining through the window, an indication that the others would likely be getting up. He wasn't keen on being the last one up (not that it was possibly - Sky would likely sleep another hour at least, if allowed); the last thing he wanted was for the rest of the group to think he couldn't handle a simple cold.
Sniffling, Wind slowly sat up, wincing as he swallowed against his worsening sore throat. He remembered when he got sick on his first journey. He remembered how isolating it was, all of a sudden, not having anyone to take care of him. He remembered learning that he had to rely on himself.
He knew he didn't necessarily have that same issue here. But everyone else had been babying him enough. He didn't need to give them an excuse.
But he felt miserable.
"Sailor?"
Wind jumped, startled, looking up to see Hyrule hovering over him. His friend had a strangely wary look to him, eyebrow raised.
"Yeah?" Wind winced at how bad his voice sounded.
Hyrule's eyebrows drew downward and together, concentration written on his face as he leaned forward to put a hand to the teenager's forehead. Wind immediately reeled back, swatting him away.
"I'll be fine," Wind insisted. He felt bad for rebuffing the traveler, but stubbornness and pride overruled. He was a Hero of Hyrule just like the rest of them, he didn't need special treatment for a cold.
"It's dangerous to assume so when you can sleep somewhere safe," Hyrule noted, letting his hand fall to his side. "Get some more rest."
"I'm okay!"
"It's way too freaking early for people to be yelling," Legend snapped as he stormed over. Wind shriveled back a hair, knowing how irritable the veteran hero could be this early in the morning, but then he puffed out his chest in defiance.
"Yeah, well, Traveler's babying me when I don't need it," Wind argued.
"You sound like a goose blowing through a bugle," Legend immediately fired back, crossing his arms. "We're not leaving yet anyway."
Wind was outnumbered and he knew it. It didn't help that his own mind and heart were at war, desperate for some comfort when he felt so poorly but also trying to save face.
The door opened as Wild reentered the room, having likely woken up ages ago. He paused when he saw the trio, tilting his head to the side. "What's up?"
"Our sailor is sick," Hyrule reported.
"Oh. Want some tea?"
Wind wilted into the bed. Tea sounded great, actually. But what sounded even better was his grandmother's soup, his pillow fluffed, the sound of the ocean lulling him back to sleep, and his family's warm presence. The fight was quickly draining out of him. He just wanted to stop feeling awful.
He tried one last time, though the sound of defeat was already in his tone. "I'll be okay, guys."
Legend hummed. "Wonder what the captain of the old man would think of that."
Wind stiffened. "Don't you dare!"
The veteran laughed. "Then lay back down, you congested goose."
Huffing, Wind irritably tucked his feet back under the blanket and glared at the trio as he laid down once more. Legend smirked in smug satisfaction, while Wild gave a gentler smile, leaving to presumably make tea. Hyrule watched him the longest, expression gentle, before nodding to himself and plopping on his own bed, fiddling with his bag.
Wind wasn't sure when he had fallen back asleep. All he knew was when he woke it was to someone brushing hair out of his face, it was to the smell of peppermint, the gentle murmurs of several voices, the pitter patter of rain on the roof, the soft glow of candlelight. He peeled one eye open blearily and saw Time sitting beside his bed, gaze elsewhere while his fingers mindlessly twirled a lock of Wind's hair. Someone was talking to him, it seemed. A cup of tea was on the nightstand, nice and warm as steam curled lazily from its contents.
One last, tiny, stubborn voice protested the scenario, eager to prove himself. He ignored it. He felt miserable, and he wanted comfort. Wind let Time continue to card through his hair for a little while longer. Then he'd sit up and drink the tea Wild had made.
Then he'd let his newfound family take care of him, just like he always did back home.

colors and suns
Erwin buys some paint to cheer up Levi.
(lee!Levi, ler!Erwin)
[modern au, painting tickles, references to depression]
w/c: about 900 words
"So you, uh," Levi looked at the bag, "bought a coloring book paint to do the fucking BODY THERAPY art?"
"Exactly," Erwin said and smuggled.
"The knitting club would have the same effect so no, thank you," Levi growled at him and handled the bag to his hands. "Paint this shit by yourself!"
He turned back and disappeared in the kitchen. Erwin put the bag on the floor pursed his lips, offended.
"I'm still in, just in case!" he tried to outshout the sound of the pans and bowls, but it was too loud.
Erwin couldn't blame him for that. Levi didn't like it when he tried to help or to offer any kind of therapeutic aid. Pills and meditation (in this case just poor tryings, actually) were the only thing Levi accepted from his psychiatrist and he never tried to speak of his disorder again. Depressed? Okay, we got this, I can live my life.
He also was really sluggy after the pills, so they ended up on their couch watching TV. Erwin was massaging Levi's head with his fingers, his hair smelled like soap and grass. He couldn't help himself but kiss him in forehead once or twice.
"Le-evi" he murmured, "what if we still try it?"
Levi found Erwin's nose and pinched it.
"Do what'y want, I'm too tired too argue."
Erwin cheerfully jumped and went for the paint, screaming "take off your clothes!" from another room to his husband.
"What are you gonna draw?"
"What are you expecting me to draw?"
"I don't know. Draw a flower."
Erwin opened up the green paint and poured a new brush in it.
"I'll draw on your back, is it ok?" he asked to get the nod and brushed over his spine.
"Ouf, it's cold," Levi whined. Erwin drew a stem and started painting the leafs on his sides, thinking of continuing this pattern on the front, but Levi suddenly shivered, when he got lower.
"Are you alright?" Erwin asked and stopped.
"Yeah. Yeah," Levi nodded. "Just do the thing."
Despite one thought crawling in his mind, Erwin continued painting the flower; returned the brush on the top, slowly stroked it down to the ribs - Levi shivered again - and poked it near the armpit.
"Raise your hand, I need to get to your other side," he muttered, tongue out from concentration.
"Are you doing this on purpose or what," Levi hissed at him. Erwin raised his eyebrow.
"What's wrong?"
"It tickles," Levi said.
"Don't worry, I'll finish soon," Erwin forcibly raised Levi's hand and brushed over his armpit. Levi twitched and snorted, loudly enough to provoke Erwin's interest. He changed his way and instead of painting on Levi's chest he returned to his ribs, pretending that he is coloring something.
"Erwin, stop," Levi growled through his teeth, but Erwin only grinned.
"It's not my fault that you're ticklish," he shrugged his shoulders and lowered to the tummy, thinking of taking a bigger brush.
"Just, just draw somewhere else, I don't know!" Levi was hardly holding back the giggles. Erwin stayed on his tummy for too long, painting unnecessary circles and patterns around his belly and pelvic line.
"Hold on, hold on, I'm almost done," he teased, going around the folds on Levi's tummy and swiped the brush behind his back again. "Is that too hard for you?"
Levi didn't answer. In a few seconds Erwin told him to lie down.
"Which paint now?" he asked, Levi only made a face:
"I don't care! Just do it fast."
Erwin sighed through his nostrils, poured the brush in yellow paint and without any shame started flowing it on the inner side of Levi's thighs. Levi jumped and squished them together; Erwin was taken aback.
"Levi, relax."
"What if you try to draw on something else?"
"Levi, it's for therapeutic purposes!"
He spread his thighs forcibly (he knew Levi wasn't stresses by this - his eyes were calm enough) and continued painting. He heard the giggles immediately.
"Erwin- Erwin, stop, stop, y-you drew enough," Levi held up his palm to his mouth, though Erwin knew what was hiding behind it, "Erwin, get that fucking brush out!.."
Erwin wasn't convinced enough by this, he smiled slyly while drawing small suns on Levi's thighs.
"Don't twitch!" he sang and drew a line to his knee bend; Levi bumped him in the his slightly, giggling. "I'm almost done, almost done!"
"Youhu said that five minutes agooDON'T FUCKING TOUCH MY KNEES!" he squealed, frantically kicking his legs. Erwin realized he found that place and concentrated on drawing circles behind the knee, enjoying that high-pitched laughter.
At the end he stopped drawing and began simply kissing the unpainted areas of his skin, pale skin, the veins seen. And Erwin had a thought, just one small thought that if Levi could smile a bit, that horrible dark part of their life will be gone for a minute. Just him, Levi and some happiness.
He climbed over his hips, kissed Levi on the stomach, between the ribs, in the neck, causing him to have quiet chuckles.
“I love you so much, Levi...” he whispered, and Levi ran his thin fingers through his hair, smiling limply. Erwin quickly kissed him on the lips and then suddenly tickled him under the ribs; Levi bucked and grunted with laughter.
“Come on, you,” he snorted. "You'll spill the paint..."

Christmas spirit
Masterlist - DBH masterlist

There was something about Gavin that always intrigued you. Maybe it was his moody brooding demeanour, or perhaps it was the enigma that shrouded his true thoughts. Whatever it was, you couldn't help but be drawn to the douche detective. And now, as the holiday season approached, you were determined to bring a little Christmas cheer into his life, even if it meant facing his middlefinger flipping side. Gavin hated each day with equal passion but you were almost sure that he despised this time of the year even more. He never revealed the reasons behind his disdain, but his scowls and harsher sarcastic comments around this time of the year spoke volumes. Still, you couldn't let his bitterness stop you from enjoying the Christmas market that had just opened downtown and you were determined that you needed Detective Douche by your side to do so. Besides you had your very own ways of making it up to him later on at home and you were determined to bring a smile on his face.
As night fell and the city lights twinkled, you convinced Gavin to accompany you after his shift. You promised it would be a quick visit, assuring him that you'd make it up to him later which earned you an annoyed huff but you also noticed the mischievous spark in his eyes. Reluctantly and with a lot of his usual drama, he finally agreed.
Stepping into the market, the air was filled with the scent of freshly baked pastries, the sound of laughter and Christmas music. The stalls were adorned with colourful lights and decorations, casting a warm glow on the surrounding snow. It truly was a sight to behold and the atmosphere was filled with a hint of magic in the air.
You weaved through the crowd, dragging an annoyed Gavin along with you. You stopped at each stall, pointing out the unique trinkets and tasty treats. Gavin couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at the silly Christmas hats you insisted on trying on, praying to every god he could think of that you wouldn't want him to try them on as well. Despite his grumpiness, a small, almost hidden, smirk tugged at the corner of his lips. He would never admit it, but seeing your glowing smile while wearing a jingly elf hat warmed his heart. He truly loved you and while not being shy of showing it in the privacy of your own home, he still had an image to keep outside since he could never know if one of his colleagues was hiding around and would see a softer side. They all hated him at the precinct and mostly left him alone and he'd do everything to keep it that way.
As the night wore on, you finally decided to call it a day. The market was slowly closing down and the chill in the air became more pronounced. You held Gavin's hand tight, guiding him back to the car, humming jolly tunes while slightly dancing with every step. Once inside the warmth of the car, Gavin let out a sigh. To your surprise, his face softened and he turned to you with that typical smirk that always made your heart skip a beat.
"You know, I didn't think I'd enjoy this Christmas nonsense, but I have to admit, it was rather...nice", he confessed, his voice filled with a hint of wonder.
You smiled back at him, giving his shoulder a playful slap.
"Well, I'm glad I could bring a little Christmas spirit into your life, even if it was just for a tiny moment", you replied, your heart swelling with warmth, "but don't worry, I won't tell anyone that the great Detective Reed actually enjoyed some quality time on the Christmas market", you winked at him.
Gavin let out a soft chuckle, his fingers gently gripping your neck as he drew you near, pressing his rough lips against yours in an affectionate kiss. As he slowly released his hold, he leaned in closer, his voice filled with a deep longing, causing a delightful sensation to course through your entire being.
"I'm eager to see what you have in mind to make it up to me for bringing me along to this market."

A Day in Paradise: Leon S Kennedy x Female!Reader
both Leon and you share a romantic get-away after coming back from a deadly mission.
Fluff just pure romance and fluff.
Author: I was so shocked by how many people actually responded to my last upload! I appreciate all the love on it and the reposts! thank you to you guys who are enjoying all of this! I hope you guys enjoy this read!
The warm sun and cool ocean breeze provided the perfect backdrop for your much-needed vacation with Leon. The sounds of the waves crashing ashore, the squawks ringing out loudly as seagulls flew above the beach. You both had been through a lot during the mission, and now it was time to unwind and enjoy each other's company. You couldn't help but soak in the rays of the sun and soak the amazing way Leon made you feel a sense of ease.
As you walked along the beach, your hand in Leon's, you couldn't help but feel grateful for this moment of peace and tranquility. The warm sand beneath your feet all served to create a sense of serenity that you had not felt in a long time.
Leon smiled at you, his eyes reflecting the beauty of the surroundings. You felt a shiver run down your spine as he drew you in for a hug, and you could feel his heart beating against your chest in a rhythmic pace.
"I'm so glad we took this time off," he whispered into your ear. His rough, callused hand pushing the strands of fallen hair away from your face. "You're so beautiful this way (Y/N)" his voice in a soft loving hum. Completely infatuated by your beauty that he could never get enough of like it was a drug that he was addicted to.
You blushed at his words, feeling the heat rise to your cheeks. "You always know just what to say," you replied, feeling grateful for his sweet compliments. "And also know what to say to leave me utterly speechless. I just wish this could be forever." Your hand gestures to the ocean behind you both.
Leon chuckled, the sound deep and rich, as pulled you in for a tight embrace. "I mean every word," he said, his voice filled with sincerity. "I love the way you are." His breathtaking blue eyes shinning brighter than you've ever seen, you always got lost inside of them.
You felt your heart swell with love for him, and you leaned into his embrace, feeling safe and protected.
As you both stand there inside of each other's arms, the sounds of the beach becoming a mere white noise in the background. You couldn't help but think about how much your relationship had grown over the past few days. You had always had a deep respect and admiration for Leon, but now, you felt a sense of closeness. The last mission felt like you had been knocking at deaths door, you had refused to possibly get taken out before Leon knew how you felt. By your surprise, he felt the same way you did.
"You know," you said, breaking the comfortable silence between you, "I never thought I'd find love in this line of work."
Leon shifted slightly, pulling himself from the ever so loving embrace you two shared to look down at you. "Neither did I," he admitted, his expression softening in a way that made you admire his features more. The way his jaw wasn't clenched shut, his eyes not on alert, his usually furrowed eyebrows laxed back and his kissable lips curled up into a smile as he soaked in how gorgeous you also looked. "But I am such a lucky guy."
"But I'm glad we did," you said, reaching up to brush a strand of hair away from his face ever so gently. Your eyes glued onto his.
"Me too," he replied, his eyes shining with affection.
You both fell into a comfortable silence once again, enjoying each other's company and the peace of the moment before you both set off into the town.
As you walked hand in hand through Coral Bay, Leon pointed out various sights and landmarks. Stopping by each and every one to marvel at the sights, snapping pictures that had both you and Leon smiling happily in. You finally stopped at a small café and ordered two cups of coffee, savoring the rich aroma and taste.
You visited the local market, exploring the various stalls and admiring the handmade crafts and goods. Leon bought you a beautiful necklace, insisting that you deserved something special after the difficult mission. Secretly wanting to have it as a way to show everyone you were his girl. The necklace was made of delicate gold (A/N: Or silver! Whichever you like best <;3) chains that were interwoven to create a lattice-like pattern. It had a small, intricate pendant made of sapphire, in the shape of a heart, which glittered in the light. The pendant was surrounded by small diamonds that twinkled like stars, the sun making the necklace shine brilliantly in a way that took your breath away. The whole piece was elegant and delicate, and it complemented your natural beauty perfectly. You swore it would never come off of your neck, you adored it with all of your heart.
As you walked through the streets, you stumbled upon a street performer playing a beautiful tune on his guitar. Leon pulled you towards him, wrapping his arms around your waist, and swayed to the music with you. You felt the warmth of his body against yours, and the sound of his heartbeat in your ear. His 2 day old stubbled chin resting lovingly on your head as your hands rest on top of his scar littered arms. It was a moment of pure bliss.
Afterwards, you headed towards a nearby park, where you laid out a blanket, a woven basket held the sandwiches setting on the corner part of the blanket. Leon sat right beside you, your fingertips just brushing against one another's. You couldn't help but feel touched by his thoughtfulness as you both sat together.
"Leon, this is amazing," you said, taking a bite of the sandwich he had made for you. "Thank you so much."
He smiled, his eyes sparkling in the sunlight. "Anything for you, (Y/N)," he replied, taking a sip of his drink.
You both continued to eat and chat, enjoying each other's company and the beautiful day. As you looked out at the park that was blooming with beauty each way you turned, you felt a sense of peace wash over you, knowing that you had Leon by your side.
"Hey, (Y/N)," Leon said, breaking the peaceful silence. "I've been thinking about something."
"What is it?" you asked, looking over at him.
"Well, we've been together for a few days now, and I was wondering if you'd like to make this official," he said, his expression serious but hopeful. How could you ever say no to such a beautiful man?
Your heart skipped a beat as you looked at him, feeling a rush of joy and excitement. "Yes, Leon," you said, reaching over to take his hand making the brushing of the fingertips into full physical contact again. "I would love that."
He smiled, his eyes gleaming bright with happiness. "I'm so glad to hear that," he said, leaning in for a sweet kiss.
The world felt like it stopped as your lips crash against his perfectly interlocking with one another. His thumb rubbing gentle circles on the top of your hand that sent shivers up your spine, his other hand holding your cheek gently. Your hand rested upon his muscular chest, the bumps of scars underneath your fingers.
As you both continued your picnic, you felt a sense of contentment and joy, marveling at the fact that you had found love in the most unexpected of places.
As the day wore on, you made your way towards the hotel that had a breath taking view over the ocean on the balcony that had two chairs and a table which allowed you both to sit if you felt up to it, as you watched the sunset together. The sky was painted with hues of pink, orange, and purple, and you both stood in awe of the natural beauty before you. His hands resting on your hips as he stood behind you, your hands holding his.
"I love you," Leon whispered, his voice barely above a whisper as if it was going to some how ruin the moment.
"I love you too," you replied, your heart full of a newfound affection.
And so, you both stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, watching the sun dip below the horizon. The moon slowly coming up to reflect across the waves that rippled through the ocean. It was a moment that you would remember for the rest of your lives, a moment of pure love and contentment.
You both made your way back to your spacious and luxurious hotel room, equipped with a cozy king-size bed in the center of the room covered in soft white linens and plush pillows. The room is tastefully decorated with elegant furniture, including a comfortable armchair and a writing desk. The walls are adorned with beautiful paintings and photographs of the town and its surroundings. The room also features a large flat-screen TV mounted on the wall and a mini-fridge stocked with cold drinks and snacks. The bathroom is just as luxurious, with a large walk-in shower, a deep soaking tub, and fluffy towels. The marble countertops and shiny fixtures give the room an elegant feel, there are plenty of toiletries and amenities to make your stay comfortable. You could feel the warmth of Leon's hand on your back as he led you towards the door, his touch sending shivers down your spine. You couldn't get enough of the way his touch left you yearning for more.
Once inside, you both changed into your pajamas and began to prepare for bed. Leon went into the bathroom to brush his teeth while you crawled into bed, getting comfortable under the covers. You could hear the sound of running water from the bathroom and the gentle hum of the air conditioning in the room.
When Leon returned, he climbed into bed next to you; the bed shifting with his weight, his arms immediately wrapping around your waist, pulling you closer to him. You could feel the heat of his body against yours, the warmth spreading through your entire being as you laid your head on his chest.
"Did you have a good day today?" he asked, his voice deep and soothing that felt like rain of comforting safety.
You nodded, feeling the exhaustion of the day starting to weigh on you. "Yes, it was amazing. I never realized how much I needed a break until now," you said, turning your head to look up at him. Noticing that he is just as tired as you where, his eyelids slowly falling before he forces them back open "I cant thank you enough for it."
"I'm glad," he replied, his hand running up and down your back in a comforting gesture. "Its nice to see you genuinely happy for a change, I just feel happy to be the one who makes you feel this joyous."
You turned your chin back up to face him, a smile playing on your lips. "You always make me happy, Leon. Even on the toughest of days," you said, reaching up to cup his face in your hands.
He leaned into your touch, closing his eyes for a moment before opening them and meeting your gaze. "I'll always be here for you, (Y/N). No matter what."
Tears welled up in your eyes as you were overcome with emotion, feeling grateful for the man laying before you. "I know," you whispered, your voice barely above a whisper. "And I'll always be here for you, too."
He pulled you in closer, wrapping his arms around you tighter and burying his face in your hair. You could feel his heartbeat against your chest, and you closed your eyes, savoring the moment. You snuggled closer into his chest, feeling safe and content.
You both lay there in comfortable silence for a few moments, simply enjoying each other's presence. You could feel yourself starting to drift off, your eyelids feeling like heavy curtains coming to a close.
"Goodnight, Leon." you murmured, your voice barely above a whisper.
"Goodnight, (Y/N)," he replied, his voice just as soft as yours. Sounding like a beautiful lullaby to your ears. He placed a gentle kiss on your forehead before settling in beside you, his breathing steady and even.
You closed your eyes, feeling safe and loved, knowing that you were exactly where you were meant to be, in the arms of the man you loved.
The next day, you woke up to the sound of waves crashing against the shore, and the sun peeking through the curtains of your hotel room with a welcoming warm cast. You and Leon got up and got dressed, exchanging kisses between one another, ready to explore more of the town and make more memories together.
You both walk down the streets of the bustling town hands intertwined at the fingers, taking in the sights, sounds, and smells around you. The aroma of street foods fills the air, making your mouth water. You see food vendors selling all kinds of snacks and delicacies, from savory fried chicken to sweet mango sticky rice.
Leon pulls you towards a vendor selling grilled skewers of meat and vegetables. "This is my favorite," he says, smiling at you. "You have to try it."
He orders a few skewers, and you watch as the vendor grills them to perfection over an open flame that flicker which drew you both in. The scent of the sizzling meat and veggies makes your stomach growl with anticipation.
Leon hands you a skewer, and you take a bite. The flavors explode in your mouth, and you can't help but moan in pleasure. Leon chuckles at your reaction, his eyes lighting up with amusement.
As you continue to walk down the street, you try different street foods, from crispy spring rolls to juicy grilled prawns. Each bite is a new adventure, and you can't help but feel grateful to experience it all with Leon by your side.
"You have to try this," you say, pulling Leon towards a vendor selling mango sticky rice. "It's my favorite dessert."
Leon watches as the vendor scoops a generous portion of sticky rice onto a plate and tops it with slices of fresh, ripe mango. You take a spoonful and savor the combination of sweet and creamy flavors.
"This is amazing," Leon says, taking a bite of his own. "You have great taste."
"Obviously I do," You playfully nudge his side. "I fell inlove with you." Your cheeks burning from how much you were smiling, never fading down from the ear to ear grin you wore.
You both laugh and continue to explore the town, trying new foods and enjoying each other's company.
Leon even bought you a handmade bracelet from one of the local vendors, which you cherished as another unremovable souvenir from your trip. It was made almost exactly the same as the necklace that shimmered in the sunlight from around your neck. As you walked hand in hand through the market, you both stopped by a small shop that sold handmade pottery and other crafts.
"Wow, these are beautiful," you said, admiring the intricate designs and colors of the pottery.
"Yeah, they are," Leon agreed. "Hey, let's buy a couple of them and take them back home with us as a reminder of this trip."
You both ended up selecting a beautiful ceramic vase with a colorful floral design and a small bowl with a blue and green geometric pattern. You made your way back to the hotel room with your new purchases, feeling happy and content.
Later that morning, you both decided to go for a hike to a nearby nature reserve. The scenery was breathtaking, with lush greenery, crystal clear streams, and beautiful waterfalls. You both took turns taking pictures of each other and together, capturing the natural beauty around you.
As the day stretched on, you both found a quiet spot by the waterfall and sat down for another romantic picnic. You enjoyed a simple yet delicious meal of sandwiches, fruit, and cheese, savoring the flavors and the moment.
"This is amazing," you said, looking around at the natural beauty around you. "I feel so lucky to be here with you, experiencing all of this."
"I feel the same way," Leon replied, taking your hand in his. "I'm grateful to be here with you, (Y/N)."
You both sat there for a while, enjoying each other's company and the peaceful sounds of the afternoon. The sun bright and center in the sky. You both didn't care what time it was, all that mattered to you both was the memories that were in the making. You both decide to pack all your picnic supplies up before setting back up the hiking trail from which you guys came from.
As you both hiked back up the trail to the beginning again, you and Leon nonstop chatted. It felt amazing to feel how close and strong the bond you two shared was becoming. You both ended up wanting to do different things, you wanted to go check out more hidden tourist sights while he wanted to walk up another trail.
Eventually, you both decided to split up for a few hours and explore separately before meeting back up for dinner.
"I'll meet you back at the hotel at around 6 pm?" Leon suggested, looking at down his watch, his wrist slightly turned up so the sunlight doesn't reflect into his eyes.
"Sounds good to me," you replied, smiling at him. "Don't get lost on the way back."
"I won't," he chuckled, giving you a quick peck on the lips before heading in the opposite direction. "I promise." He called back with a playful wave, the softness of his lips still lingering on yours.
You watched as he disappeared down the path, feeling a sense of contentment and happiness wash over you. The past few days had been some of the best of your life, and you were grateful to have shared them with Leon.
As you made your way to the market, you couldn't help but think about everything that had happened so far on the trip. From the intense mission to the romantic moments with Leon, it had been a rollercoaster of emotions. But in this moment, walking through the vibrant streets of the town, you felt at peace.
You spent a few hours browsing the market, admiring the handmade goods and chatting with the friendly locals. You even picked up a few souvenirs for your friends and family back home. Ultimately you had an idea as you make your way down to a local leather shop, where you browse through the different wallets on display. As you look through the various designs, your eyes land on a sleek, black leather wallet with a silver badge holder on the front. It also has a small clear pocket for a photo, making it the perfect choice for Leon.
You approach the shop owner and ask for the wallet, and he rings it up for you with a smile. As you leave the shop, you feel a sense of excitement about surprising Leon with the new wallet rush over you, your body buzzing with each step you took.
As the sun began to set, you made your way back to the hotel, feeling excited to see Leon again and hear about his adventures. You wondered what he had discovered on his own, and what stories he had to share with you over dinner.
As you entered the hotel lobby; hands full of bags, you spotted Leon sitting in one of the comfortable lounge chairs, his nose buried in a book. He looked up as you approached, a smile spreading across his face.
"Hey, you're back!" he exclaimed, marking his page and setting the book down on the small table beside him.
"Hey," you replied, pulling out the new wallet, which was wrapped up inside of a box from your bag. "I got you a little surprise while I was out exploring."
Leon's eyes widened as he took the box from you, examining it closely before carefully opening it up. "Wow, (Y/N), this is amazing," he said, looking up at you with gratitude in his eyes. "It's exactly what I needed, thank you so much."
You beamed with happiness at his reaction, feeling a sense of pride for finding the perfect gift for him. "I'm glad you like it," you said, giving him a quick hug. "So, what did you get up to while I was gone?"
Leon launches into a story about his hike up the trail. "I hiked up to the top of the second mountain trail and got to see a panoramic view of the whole area. It was breathtaking. I also found this little waterfall tucked away in a hidden corner. It was so peaceful and serene, I could have stayed there all day." As he spoke, you couldn't help but feel a sense of admiration for him. He had such a passion for exploring and experiencing new things, and it was contagious. He takes a sip of his drink before continuing, "But enough about me, what did you get up to while we were apart?" His hand reaches to take the bags you were struggling to lug behind you as the both of you walked through the AC chilled halls back to the hotel room.
"That sounds amazing, Leon. I'm so glad you had such a great time and got to see such beautiful sights. As for me, I spent a few hours wandering through the market and picked up some souvenirs for my family and friends back home. But I have to admit, it wasn't nearly as exciting as your adventure," you reply with a smile, grateful for the opportunity to share your experiences with each other. "Thanks for carrying these bags for me, by the way. I appreciate it."
After a few minutes of situating the gifts into your luggage, you both decided to head to the hotel's restaurant for dinner. The restaurant was a cozy little spot with dim lighting, giving it a romantic atmosphere. You both sat across from each other, savoring the local cuisine that was bursting with flavor. The aroma of spices and herbs filled the air, making your mouth water with anticipation. The food tasting like explosions inside of your mouth as you took your first bite, your taste buds were hit with an explosion of flavors. The combination of spices, herbs, and fresh ingredients made each dish a delight to eat. You and Leon couldn't help but let out a satisfied sigh after each bite, appreciating the skill of the chefs who prepared the meal. As you ate, you talked about everything that had happened over the past few days, reminiscing about your picnic, the street food, and the breathtaking views you had seen. Love filled the air with a sweet embrace as the two of you were indulged within each other, the time slowly passing. The conversations flowed effortlessly between you both, with each of you taking turns to share your favorite moments of the trip. The love between you both was palpable, with each passing moment strengthening your bond. The way Leon looked at you with his warm blue eyes, the way his hand found yours under the table, it was all so perfect. You felt like you were living in a dream, and you never wanted it to end.
As the night wore on, the restaurant began to empty out, leaving only a few other couples still dining. You both took your time, savoring every bite of the delicious meal and enjoying each other's company. The time seemed to slow down, as if the universe was giving you both more time to spend together. It make you both realize how quickly the trip was coming to an end. As if it was a snap back into the reality of how the world works. You made a promise to come back again soon and explore even more of the beautiful country together. Finally, as the meal came to an end, you both shared a sweet kiss, feeling the love and affection radiating between you like shockwaves through the air.
"I couldn't have asked for a better trip," Leon said, taking your hand across the table. "Being able to spend this time with you has been amazing, (Y/N)."
You smiled at him, feeling a sense of warmth and happiness spread throughout your body. "I feel the same way, Leon. This trip has been unforgettable."
As the night came to a close, walking back to your hotel room hand in hand. You felt grateful for this unforgettable experience and the bond you had formed with Leon. It was a moment that you would always treasure in your heart. You knew that even though the trip was coming to an end, the memories and the bond you had formed with Leon would stay with you forever, it was one you will cherish when you grow old. As you both entered the hotel room, Leon turned to face you, a gentle smile on his face. "I have something for you," he said, reaching into his pocket and pulling out a small white envelope.
You open it to find a printed-out picture of the two of you standing in front of the first waterfall you saw, both of your smiles plastered on your faces. A moment captured still in time. In the top left corner, there are the words "I love you, (Y/N)." in his handwriting.
Tears welled up in your eyes as you studied the picture and how his handwriting had been scratched on with delicate ease, overwhelmed with emotion. "This is so beautiful, Leon. Thank you so much."
Leon took the picture from you and placed it in a small frame he had brought along with him. "Now, we can keep this memory with us always." His deep voice full of happiness and contentment.
As you both settled into bed that night, you knew that this trip had been an unforgettable experience, and that the memories and the bond you had formed with Leon would stay with you forever. It was a moment that you would always treasure in your heart, and you felt grateful for the love that you both shared. In the morning, as you both packed your bags, you knew that saying goodbye would be difficult, but you also knew that the memories and the love you had shared on this trip would stay with you forever. You hugged each other tightly, as make plans for your next adventure together. And as you walked away, you looked back into the hotel room one last time, the morning light glowing over the roughed up bedsheets to the shadows of birds flying across. You appreciated the feeling gratefulness you have for this beautiful journey that had brought you closer together than you could ever imagine.

Feel - Bang Chan (NSFW)
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/91a6907cbee91f16821a56bfa63a0260/02ef2bc6694a22b1-9a/s540x810/dc724dc37bcfeecbaaae7f6c536d65a0df9bee91.jpg)
A/N: This was requested ages ago and I am so sorry at how long its taken!
Trigger warning: Mental health, depression, anatomically female reader
Your roommate Chan walked into the living room to find you sat on the sofa picking at your lips. As he sat beside you, he gently swiped at your hand, knocking it away.
"Stop doing that, you'll hurt yourself."
"Yay, a feeling," you replied, dryly.
Chan's brow furrowed as he looked back at you, only to find you now chewing at your bottom lip instead.
"Hey," he scolded, "Stop." He squeezed your cheeks forcing you into a pout so you would stop gnawing at yourself. "What did that mean?"
"What?"
"The sarcastic comment about feeling," he prompted, releasing your face.
You let out a sigh. "You know me well enough to know that my mental health isn't great right now," you started to explain. "I've just got to a point where... It's as if emotions are too much effort. I don't have the energy to feel anything so I just don't. I'm kind of numb."
"That doesn't mean you can hurt yourself so that you can feel something," he continued to tell you off.
"Well, it would be great to feel something. I'm so done with this void of nothingness."
There was a pause then as he looked you up and down, clearly thinking something over in his head.
"It doesn't have to be a bad feeling," Chan then said, not quite looking you in the eye.
"What do you mean?" you asked.
He looked down as his hand ventured onto your thigh and he squeezed lightly. "I'm sure I could make you feel good."
"That's confident," you commented, even though his tone was anything but.
"Do you want me to help?" he asked, sounding almost timid.
You swallowed and fidgeted slightly as you considered his words, but really you wanted to see where this would go. In fact, your libido had been as non-existent as your emotions recently, so you were just impressed that you were seriously thinking about this. You nodded your head, "Yes, please."
Chan's hand ran further up your leg as he kept his eyes on your face, making sure you were still comfortable. While you couldn't bring yourself to meet his gaze, he knew that was nothing to worry about and eye contact was something that you often avoided especially when your mood dropped like this.
He began to run his hand along your clothed core, allowing you both a chance to get used to this new level of intimacy. You couldn't be sure that it wasn't just your currently muted emotion, but this didn't feel as weird as you expected. Subconsciously, you began to bite your lip again.
"Stop it!" Chan reacted immediately.
"Make me," you retorted almost as quickly.
He raised an eyebrow inquisitively, and your expression didn't falter, your lip once again caught between your teeth. He leant in and captured you lips with his. As he'd hoped, you stopped your previous action in order to kiss him back. For a moment you grabbed on to the shoulder of his shirt, holding him in place as both your lips and his hand continued in their actions for a moment.
Once you had both fully started to relax into the moment, Chan pulled away from your lips and slid from the sofa to his knees in front of you. Hooking his fingers in your waistband, he looked up to you for permission. When you gave a nod and raised your hips, he swiftly pulled off your bottoms and underwear and crawled between your legs.
As he drew closer you sat further back in the chair.
"I can't reach you from there, princess," he commented, but made no effort to move you closer again.
"Yeah... I just..." you stuttered actually starting to feel a bit self-conscious.
"It's ok," he told you, rubbing your thighs soothingly. "You can stop me. I just want you to feel good, not uncomfortable."
"It's just weird, that its you seeing my.. seeing me... like this."
He shrugged. "It's different, but I don't care what you look like, that's not why I'm down here."
Feeling reassured by his words, you started to move back towards the edge of the chair. When you were where he wanted you, he wrapped an arm around each of your thighs and leant in to lick you once, taking his time. Breaking away to look up at you, he noticed your head was resting back against the sofa showing no signs of wanting to stop him, so he continued.
As he continued to stimulate your core, it was almost as if your nerves were slowly coming back to life. You just focused on the feeling of Chan's tongue as it explored you. Even though there was now a sensation flowing through you, it still felt muted, it wasn't quite enough.
"Chan," you breathed out.
He pulled back immediately and waited for you to tell him what you needed to say.
"Can you use your fingers too?" you asked, unable to meet his gaze. "I need more."
You missed the smile on his face before he continued, now using his fingers to toy with the parts of you his tongue was neglecting. Eventually, he settled with his mouth over your clit and his fingers pumping in and out of you. You let out a gasp as you felt your high suddenly approaching. His tongue was now working over the perfect, most sensitive spot it could, and you fought the urge to clamp your thighs around his head.
With your breathing becoming quicker and shallower, Chan knew you were nearing the end. His movements intensified, working quickly to push you over the edge. You felt pleasure tingling out across your body as your muscles started to tense. Your eyes screwed up tight as you let out a long, drawn-out moan, an orgasm washing over you.
As Chan slowly came to a stop, and pulled away, he noticed you were shaking slightly. He carefully reclothed your bottom half before sitting next to you and pulling you into a tight embrace.
"Feeling something yet?" he asked, despite already knowing the answer.
"Thank you," was all you could think to reply. "I should return the favour," you added, sitting back to look at him.
"I just wanted you to feel better, as long as you do, I'm happy."
You couldn't quite believe the selflessness of the man sat beside you.
"That doesn't seem fair," you protested.
"You can sort me out next time."
"Next time?" you questioned, your eyebrows raising.
He simply grinned at you. "Unless you don't want to."
You couldn't stop the chuckle that you let out. He was right, you certainly wouldn't mind doing that again. In fact, you were starting to see your roommate in a whole new light, but that was a discussion for another time. For now, you were satisfied with curling up in his embrace.
"I'll be sure to come to you next time I need to feel something," you assured him.

Wait, I don’t get it, please explain:
Cecil Denis x reader
————————————————————————
Y/N had spent the entire day in bed, as usual, cocooned in her blankets, scrolling aimlessly on her phone. Every once in a while, she sighed deeply, feeling that strange mixture of fatigue and restlessness. Her mind wandered, and once again, it landed on him—Cecil Denis, the one guy she couldn't get out of her head. She couldn't quite explain what drew her to him. Was it his eccentric behavior? His mysterious smile? Or maybe the fact that he had once complimented her singular dimple, something even she had barely noticed.
Y/N groaned, rolling onto her stomach, staring at the ceiling, replaying every interaction she’d ever had with Cecil, analyzing every word he'd said to her. Was that smile he gave me flirtatious? Or was he just trying to manipulate me like he does with everyone else? She squinted, trying to remember the exact phrasing of something he said last week, but of course, her memory failed her—again.
"Ugh, I think he likes me?" she muttered to herself, though she immediately doubted it.
A knock at the door snapped her out of her thoughts, followed by a familiar voice that sent her heart racing.
"Y/N, you in there?" Cecil’s voice, smooth and teasing, echoed from the other side of her bedroom door.
She panicked. "Hein?! Uh—what? Yeah!" Y/N flailed for a second, scrambling to get out of bed, realizing too late that she was still in her pajamas. She glanced at herself in the mirror, hating how her nose looked in profile, and gave up trying to look presentable.
The door creaked open before she could protest, and there he was—Cecil, leaning against the doorframe, his usual smug grin plastered on his face.
"You look... cozy," he remarked, eyes scanning the room cluttered with blankets and pillows. "Been in bed all day?"
"Uh... yeah. Sort of. I mean, it's been a long day. I'm just tired, you know?" Y/N mumbled, awkwardly smoothing down her hair. "What’s up?"
Cecil walked into the room, casually closing the door behind him. "Oh, nothing. Just wanted to see if you were still alive. Thought maybe you'd gotten lost in all this." He gestured to the chaos of her bed with a laugh.
Y/N rolled her eyes but couldn’t help the small smile tugging at her lips. "I’m not that bad. Sometimes I get out of bed."
"Sometimes," Cecil repeated, raising an eyebrow. He sat down on the edge of her bed, his presence filling the room with a strange energy. "What were you doing? Thinking about me?"
Y/N's brain short-circuited. She blinked a few times, unsure if she’d heard him right. "Wait, what? I—uh... I don’t get it. Explain?"
Cecil chuckled, amused by her reaction. "You’re always in your head, Y/N. Thinking too much, panicking over nothing. It’s adorable, really." He leaned in slightly, his face inches from hers, his tone playful but with a hint of something deeper. "So, what’s going on in that overactive mind of yours? Am I taking up space in there?"
Y/N could feel her face heating up. "I mean... maybe? I don’t know. You’re confusing," she admitted, biting her lip nervously. "You’re always... around. And then you say things like that, and I never know if you’re serious or if you’re just messing with me."
Cecil’s eyes softened, his smirk fading slightly. "Who says I can’t be both?"
Y/N blinked again. "Wait, what?"
He sighed, shaking his head fondly. "Y/N, you’re overthinking it. What if, for once, you just let things happen without trying to figure it all out?" His hand reached out, brushing a strand of hair from her face. "I like you, okay? I’ve liked you for a while. But you keep making it so damn hard to tell you."
Y/N stared at him, processing his words slowly. "So... you’re saying you actually... like me? Like, for real?"
Cecil laughed again, but there was a warmth in his gaze now. "Yes, for real. And I think you like me too, but you’re too busy questioning everything to just admit it."
Y/N opened her mouth to protest, but stopped herself. He was right—she did overthink everything. And yes, maybe she did like him. A lot. But admitting it felt terrifying, like stepping into the unknown.
She sighed, finally letting herself relax a bit. "Okay... maybe I do. But I still don’t understand why you like me."
Cecil leaned in closer, his lips brushing against her ear. "I like you because you’re different. You’re real. You don’t play games like everyone else. And... I kind of love that you say ‘hein’ all the time," he whispered, his breath sending shivers down her spine.
Y/N couldn’t help but laugh, feeling the tension between them shift into something lighter. "You’re weird, you know that?"
"Takes one to know one," he quipped, his fingers gently tilting her chin up, his gaze locking onto hers.
There was a long pause, the air between them thick with anticipation, before Cecil closed the gap, pressing his lips against hers. Y/N melted into the kiss, her hands finding their way to his shoulders, pulling him closer. For once, she wasn’t overthinking—she was just feeling, letting herself get lost in the moment.
The kiss deepened, and before she knew it, they were tangled together on the bed, the blankets wrapping around them like a cocoon. Cecil’s hands roamed over her body, exploring every inch, and Y/N found herself matching his intensity, her usual hesitations melting away.
Time seemed to blur as their passion took over, but there was no rush, no urgency. Just the two of them, figuring out their limits, pushing past them, discovering what felt right. Every touch, every kiss felt electric, pulling them deeper into each other.
After what felt like hours, they finally lay side by side, catching their breath. Y/N turned to him, her mind still reeling from everything that had just happened.
"So... wait. I still don’t get it. Are we... like, together now?" she asked, her voice filled with genuine confusion.
Cecil blinked, then burst out laughing, his whole body shaking with amusement. "You’re unbelievable, Y/N," he said, pulling her into his arms. "Yes, we’re together. God, you’re cute when you’re confused."
Y/N pouted, but couldn’t help the smile that crept onto her face. "You’re gonna have to explain this to me again tomorrow."
Cecil chuckled, pressing a kiss to her forehead. "I will. But for now, can we just enjoy the moment?"
Y/N nodded, snuggling closer to him, finally allowing herself to relax. For once, she wasn’t panicking. For once, she wasn’t overthinking.
"Hey, Cecil?" she asked after a moment of comfortable silence.
"Yeah?"
"Do you really like my one dimple?"
Cecil grinned. "It’s my favorite thing about you”

Obvious Plant - Day 4
Day 4 of @taznovembercelebration I drew the "plant" prompt, and drew a second ("bakery AU") to contextualise it
Read below or on Ao3, and find yesterday's here.
-
"Have you worked out how to ask out the hot florist yet?" Lup says, ducking into the kitchen.
"Taako doesn't know to whom you're referring." Taako replies tartly. How dare she level any accusations against him, in all his innocence, when she's mooning over the guy who runs the denim emporium. He has never once stared longingly at Kravitz, never even dreamed about giving him free cookies just to see him make his pleased face and praise Taako for his ingenuity.
"Oh, so Taako isn't at all interested to know that Barry gave cha’girl Kravitz's number because of the WhatsApp chat I’m setting up for people who run the businesses at the IPRE mall?" Lup peers round the kitchen door to gauge Taako's reaction.
So maybe that piques Taako's interest a little, because he truly wants to know but he's not rewarding her with the knowledge. Taako keeps his face impassive. "Obviously it's interesting, for business reasons."
"Oh for business reasons, is it? Do you have some business thoughts you'd like to share with him?"
"I do actually. Good ones. Great ones."
Lup looks at him intently. He keeps his mouth shut. She raises her eyebrows, gives him the look.
"I'm more interested in your sudden decision to spend more time talking to the dinguses we work near. You really want Grant to be able to message you after hours as well as stopping in to complain about people not wanting to spend $20 on his magic juice?" Taako's on the offensive now. He's got suspicions is the thing, big, likely accurate suspicions.
"I think it's important, you know, as a member of the sales community."
"As a member of the 'wants to fuck the denim man’ club." Taako mutters it, but she still hears. She always hears, he swears she can read his mind sometimes. It's not fair that she got extra twin powers.
"It's not about Barry."
"Oh, so you know exactly who I'm talking about?"
"There's only one shop which just sells denim, Taako, it was pure deduction."
Taako takes his turn to wait, silence works better on Lup than it does on him. She panics and fills it, he’s pretty much immune to the compulsion.
"No one else has anything denim. Who else would I assume it was?"
Taako side eyes her and keeps his mouth firmly shut.
"I asked for his number and then I panicked, alright? Is that what you want to hear?"
"You did what?" It’s impressive, actually, he’d assumed it was going to take years for her to finally pluck up the courage to start the steps of asking Barry out.
"I was being brave!" She says, defensively.
"Until you panicked and made up a fake reason and he thought it was true and now you have to get everyone else's numbers and actually engage with them?"
Lup thunks her head against the door frame. "He looked confused about why I was asking."
"I'm confused about why you were asking!"
"Shut up. You like him too."
"Taako does not want to fuck Barold J. Bluejeans of the Bluejeans Emporium!" How dare she? Taako wants to fuck plant goth Kravitz... McKravitz(??? Note to self, find out surname), thank you very much.
"I didn't say you did, just that you like him. He said you'd gone round a few times."
Traitor. How dare he mention anything about Taako to anyone? Clearly Barry couldn't be trusted. Taako needed to re-evaluate their friendship general acquaintance-ship.
"He's nice, isn't he?" Lup retreats from the safety of the kitchen, eyes shining with the joy of torturing Taako with her inability to be normal about this man. Or, you know, love and affection or whatever. She plonks herself down on the sofa next to Taako, jostling him in the process, definitely and absolutely on purpose. "Just, he's really kind. I like kind. But he's funny too, and so smart, and, well, you've seen his ass in those jeans."
Taako shoves her sideways. "No!! Gross. Illegal. You are, henceforth, forbidden from mentioning Bluejeans Butt ever ever again."
"You know I'm right though." Lup cackles from her prone position. She doesn’t even seem the teensiest bit sorry.
Taako grimaces in reply, he’s not sure she notices, but it helps cleanse him.
“So you have a choice, brother mine - wanna join the group chat?”
“Absolutely not. I don’t want to engage with anyone en masse, especially not the dinguses we surrounded ourselves with when we got the bakery. It should have come with a warning.”
“You don’t want to join even though Barry messaged Kravitz to check, and Kravitz said I could add him to the group, and that means you’ll be able to show off in the group chat until he messages you privately?”
The wheels in Taako’s brain turned quickly. “Fine… but I’m doing it for business purposes. For the good of the bakery! It’s a brave sacrifice.”
“Uh huh.” Lup wriggles and grabs her phone from her pocket. A few taps later and his is buzzing away on the bedside table.
Lup de Lup: Cake Hard with a Vengeance
Welcome Takko, everyone.
Barold of the Bluejeans Variety
Hail and well met!
What a complete nerd. (How dare he use their secret greeting without Taako’s permission.)
Magnuscles: Chairs and Dog Training
Hey Taako! So good to see you here!
Taako still wasn’t entirely sure how the puppy, gym, and woodworking combination business functioned and made money, but Magnus always seemed busy. Maybe he trained the dogs to be still enough for people to bench them?
Kravitz: Raven’s Plants
Welcome, Taako
Lup snorts and taps at her phone again.
Lup de Lup: Cake Hard with a Vengeance
Oh good, you’re online Krav! Taako’s actually got some business propositions to discuss with you.
“I have some fucking what now?” Taako’s going to murder her right to death.
Lup smiles, too wide and painfully innocent, “that’s what you said, Taako, remember? You’re joining for business purposes, you have some ideas that you wanted to share with him.”
Taako’s phone buzzes again.
Kravitz
Hi Taako,
I thought it was sensible to message you individually about the business propositions.
What are you thinking?
Kravitz.
Taako was screwed, royally boned, in fact.
“He messaged me.”
“Good. That’s what I thought he’d do. He’s very efficient.” Lup says, cheerfully, happily, as if it isn’t a problem, as if she hasn’t just shoved him off a cliff without a parachute or a dinghy or whatever sounds worse and like more of a betrayal of her beloved brother.
“He messaged me about my business proposition.”
“You said you had a business idea, a good one, a great one!” Lup sounds too sweet for her to be anything but fucking with him right now. “Wait! You… you weren’t lying were you Taako? I’m shocked, shocked and astounded! I thought you were going to revolutionise the field of cake plants.”
“We are, actually.” Taako stands up and stomps out of the room. They will, too. Just as soon as he figures out how.
–
“Did you reply to Kravitz yet?” Lup flops down on his bed next to him.
“You didn’t knock.”
“You never do.”
“It’s different.”
“How exactly is it different?”
“I’m having feelings.”
“And I don’t have feelings?”
“It’s different.”
“Because you are a uniquely tortured creation?”
“Because you opened the door and kicked me through it and then laughed at me about it while I tried to claw my way back out of the pit but you didn’t offer me a ladder.”
“I think you might have mixed your metaphors there.”
“Nope, it’s a pit with a door. A fancy pit, for fancy boys.”
“Well I don’t have a ladder to throw down.”
“Hmm.” Taako takes out his phone. “I guess in that case.” He taps at the screen. “I’d better pull you down with me.” Taako hits send.
Taako: Cake Hard with a Vengeance
Thanks everyone. Glad Lup set this group up so I could talk business with Kravitz and she could proposition Barold too.
Taako: Cake Hard with a Vengeance
About business, obviously.
“Taako!” Lup stares at her phone, mouth hanging open in shock.
“Welcome to the pit!”
Lup’s phone buzzes in her hand. “He messaged me. About my proposition. He’s excited about working together.”
“Great. Now you can just tell him what your idea is.”
“I… I don’t… I didn’t.”
“Once again, welcome to the pit!”
“Fuck.” Lup pauses. “I like that he messaged me.”
“I like that plant goth messaged me.”
They lie side by side, sigh in tandem, and stare up at the constellation of elderly glow in the dark stars plastered on Taako’s ceiling.
“Plant brownies?”
“Illegal.”
“Not that kind of plants!”
There’s another pause.
“Is jookies anything?”
Taako wants to scoff, he does, but... “Fuck. I think it actually is.”
“HA! Suck it!” Lup leaps off the bed and performs a triumphant victory lap. “I’m out of the pit, bye loser!” She flips him a final finger before diving out of the door.
It’s fine. Taako can think of something. Cakes and plants, flowers, cakes. Flower cakes… cake flowers…
Taako
You bet your sweet butt Taako has a business proposal for you.
Kravitz
My sweet butt? Been paying it a lot of attention have you?
Shit. He wasn’t supposed to ask questions, he was just supposed to tell Taako what a genius he was.
Taako
Stay on topic Kraveroo, cha’boy’s about to make us millionaires. Hear me out: cake bouquets.
Kravitz
I think they’re a thing already?
Taako
Nuh uh.
Kravitz
I mean, yuh huh.
Kravitz, rude bitch that he is, sends a link to a Google result page. Maybe they are a thing, maybe Taako should have checked.
Taako
I don’t see any copyright. Or any sign that you already offer the service.
Taako
Or is this your way of saying you don’t want to work with Taako?
Kravitz
No
Kravitz
Not no to working together, no to saying I don’t want to work with you, because I want to work with you, I’d love to.
Kravitz
Cake bouquets, sounds great! Good! Original, even!
Kravitz
Why don’t we meet up to discuss the plans?
Kravitz
Over dinner?
Kravitz
Unless you have plans for dinner?
Taako
Are we going on a date, Kravitz?
Kravitz
We can be? If you’d like to be?
Kravitz
Or it can be a business date
Kravitz
Business meeting
Kravitz
An appropriate thing for colleagues to do.
Kravitz
Colleagues who don’t want to date.
Taako
You don’t want to date Taako?
Kravitz
Now I didn’t say that, did I?
Kravitz
Unless you don’t want to date.
Kravitz
In which case, no
Taako rolls onto his stomach and kicks his feet up. This idiot gets so flustered every time they talk, it’s hard not to mess with him, but he’s going to try.
Taako
Taako certainly didn’t say that - dinner sounds great.
Taako
But more importantly, I’ve had another great idea:
Taako
You could sell pots for plants.
Kravitz
Incredible! Another great idea.
Taako
Have you considered that on Valentines day people might like to buy roses?
Kravitz
Revolutionary! Do you have any other great ideas?
Taako
You’ll have to find out at dinner, stud.

oops; c.ty
(moved to isanggayfrog) warnings: none
You hurried through the door and rushed upstairs, making sure that the thing wrapped in your jacket was okay. After a quick surveillance of the vicinity you concluded that your girlfriend wasn't home yet.
Okay, proceed with the plan.
A whine emerged from your bundle of clothes, making you smile. Locking the door, you stripped off your outer layer, revealing the puppy inside.
You headed to the bathroom with it, not bothering to change out of your dirty shirt since you were bound to get wet anyway. Eyebrows furrowed, you scanned the bathroom for Butter and Kaya's shampoo.
Speaking of, it was probably because of them Tzuyu's out. Better thank them with treats once they return.
Anyway, you lathered your new pet with pet shampoo, washing away the dirt and discovering that its fur was actually white and not brown. Once you finished, it shook itself dry, letting you wrap it in a blanket and dry it.
You checked the puppy, deciding that it was a male. He let out a bark and nuzzled your hand. "Hmm.." you thought aloud, looking around in your head for a name. "Should I name you.. Atlas?"
Atlas barked again, tongue out and tail wagging. You giggled and pet him. "Stay here, I'll get you some food."
You quickly undressed and put on a comfier t-shirt, one of Tzuyu's. Walking downstairs for the dog food, you heard the door creak open. "Baby? I'm home."
Butter and Kaya came rushing in, leashes falling out of Tzuyu's hand. They came at you with paws scrabbling at your pants and begging for a pet. You chuckled, kneeling down to give them a kiss and spoil them with compliments.
A loud bark from your room interrupted you.
Tzuyu looked curiously at her dogs, noting that they didn't make a sound and were innocently gazing at her. She moved toward the stairs, but was stopped by you.
"Haha, so.. How was your walk?" you started nervously, hoping she thought she was hearing things.
"Y/N..." she started, placing her hands on her hips and narrowing her eyes at you.
"Yes?" you said enthusiastically, looking anywhere but her.
"What's up there?"
"Up where?"
Sighing, she tried to push you away, but you remained firm. "You're hiding something."
You shrugged nonchalantly before running up to hide Atlas before Tzuyu saw him. Sadly, she was tall and therefore had long legs, and she caught up with you pretty quickly. Just as you were convincing Atlas to hide in the closet, she burst through the door.
"Oh my gosh!" she squealed, eyes widening at the sight of the new dog. "Is that a dog?"
No, it's a giraffe.
"Umm.." Well, you couldn't lie now. "Yeah. I found him on my way home, and I think he was abandoned, so..."
"Baby, you don't adopt just out of pity. We've talked about this! It's not a good thing for both you and the dog, you'll be stressed trying to take care of it when you're not ready and he doesn't deserve it."
"But I am ready! In fact, I've talked about it with my mom, and she agreed. I was planning to visit the shelter this weekend and surprise you but.. there's just something about him that drew me in," you gazed at Atlas fondly. "So I guess the surprise is a little earlier than expected, huh?"
Tzuyu smiled. "Yeah, I guess. I'll take you to the vet tomorrow, since Butter and Kaya need a check-up anyway. We can get him set-up for shots if he needs it."
You blinked confusedly. "Huh?"
You girlfriend laughed. "You didn't really think I wasn't going to help, did you? He's our dog now, just like mine are yours."
Atlas tilted his head, blinking up at you with wide, innocent eyes. He hesitantly walked towards Tzuyu and gave her a small kiss on the hand. "Aww," you cooed. "Look, he likes you!"
"I like him too," she grinned.
