Dead serious soulmate au but in separate universes.

In the DP universe soulmates are widespread with pretty much everyone having one. In the past soulmates were only seen as purely romantic and it was abhorrent if you didn't have one, rejected/cut off your soulmate or they died before you.

Soulmates still heavily impact DP universes present society but not in the same ways as before. Current day Soulmates can be platonic or romantic and while it wasn't as demonized as it was in the past cutting off a soulmate is still an incredibly taboo.There are different types of soulmates (ie the red string, skin writing, telepathy, shared sensation,..)

Danny shares pain with his soulmate. While he can't exactly communicate directly with his soulmate he has the ability to heal them a little through the bond. Danny's soulmate was always getting hurt somehow or another to the point he had an unnaturally high pain tolerance by the time he turned 14.

His soulmate hasn't ever healed him back and sometimes Danny forgot he existed at all. As a half ghost it was so much easier to heal his soulmate; with just a surge of energy he could completely heal any injuries his soulmate acquired and go back to whatever it was he was doing before his soulmate got hurt.

Danny was fine with forgetting his soulmate existed. Whoever was on the other end clearly didn't want anything to do with him considering they couldn't even pitch in to heal a papercut. He would still heal his soulmate when he needed it but he just gave up hoping for any kind of relationship with him.

On the DC side of things Soulmates are extremely rare and little to nothing is know about them. Damian of course is one of the very few people who had a soulmate; the small blue soulmark on his chest was proof of that. Damian's soulmark was ignored treated like it didn't exist at all until the day it started healing him.

Then his soulmate was his everything. His soulmate was someone he needed to protect with every fiber of his being and someone he desperately needed to find. Damian kept these beliefs even after he left the league and especially when his soulmates healing powers got stronger.

After years of searching the last place he expected to meet his soulmate was some dingy alleyway...

He could finally start courting him.

I find pretty funny how over the last near month since Marvel Rivals has been out, I've already been seeing a growing number of ships and couples.

Also I'm so annoyed at the way the narrative has been pushing Mark and Eve together since episode 1.

How Amber - a badass black woman with a heart of gold - was made to be the obvious "wrong choice" from the get go because "shes not a superhero and doesn't understand the life"

How they've been pushing this white girl with the personality of a vain doornail since season 1 because "obviously Mark and Amber aren't going to work haha are you kidding me?? Amber???? Ahahaha who'd ever pick her over a beautiful superhero like Eve???"

I adored Mark and Eve's friendship. Would've honestly loved to see Eve realize she's queer after the bullshit with Rex and her dad.

Some gay panic as she realizes she hasn't been in love with Mark, but Amber or something idek just STOP TRYING TO SHOEHORN THIS BASIC ROMANCE ONTO US :(

I think getaway and tailgate being friends or at least interacting more in some universe after everything would be sooo funny. Because tailgate barely gaf about what getaway did he's like man you fucking lied to me and almost got me murdered but he says it so casually like... getaway did Not do a number on him. That mech does Not matter to him At All. I think they could be chill and it would be hilarious.

I'd like to see more of getaway being genuine; that bastard he is on the inside. It's really entertaining to me when he's not putting on his nice guy act. That's why I like making him interact with rodimus so much, he's such a bastard towards him... sir you are Jealous!!! Don't worry, at least I love you.

But I genuinely don't get how people can hate him with such intensity because the way he does everything is so funny??? He gossips like a teenage girl... he's so dramatic all the time that I can't take any of his "evilness" seriously.

Because he isn't evil. He's genuinely just a loser. He's... sensitive I guess??? In the sense that he's so easily affected by the things around him, has been molded by his environment and the opinions of him (MTO stuff) since he was created. He's not a scary evil villain in ANY sense. Before any of the Megatron plot he was so chill with the crew.

lol don't think I ever started doing ship opinions, it's just so happened that I tackled a lot of ship related asks after one another 😅 but always happy to contribute Norway related information regarding connections and relations to other nations! ✨

Can't say I've ever heard about Egypt and Norway as a ship before, so I'm starting all fresh with this one. Norway and Egypt don't really have a lot of relations with each other - most of the dealings between the two nations is regarding Norwegian ships and the Suez, as well as military collaborations, and some Norwegian companies have investments in Egypt. I won't say Egypt is a very popular tourist destination, but there are definitely Norwegians who go there on holiday. There's no major cultural links or other funfacts I can find about them in my very short time looking into this.

For me, I need a historical link or some other cultural bond to really enjoy ships, so I think I'll need a bit more convincing on this one ✨

Something that I feel like I should emphasize again about my type of shipping is that I care so much more for the dynamic and depth of a relationship than wether it's romantic or platonic or queer-platonic or some other kind of connection.

in particular finishing the most recent main quest with the Borisin, then hearing about Igor Haft of Belobog...

it's FASCINATING to me how the civilizations in HSR seem to not only follow a path that they value, but a path that they need and end up getting very little help from

belobog following the preservation because their small, impoverished planet is constantly under threat of death and destruction... such that very little is actually "preserved" with any success

the xianzhou alliance following the hunt to root out and eliminate their enemies without mercy... only for those same enemies to stir up trouble from within their own ranks, with the xianzhou luofu in particular failing to realize until two major disasters had already been set in motion. and even before then, considering everything implied with dan feng, i doubt this is the first time they've faced internal conflict like this

penacony following the harmony to ensure the happiness and unity of their people, only for what little harmony actually exists to simply cover up the turbulence and suffering belying every luxury... such that the order arose in the first place to deal with what the harmony couldn't, a thick undercurrent of inequality and divisiveness that plagued every worker, every poor soul that saw penacony as their safe haven, their last hope

that those desperate for preservation would come out with so little, with so many wounds. that those desperate to hunt down threats would be perpetually plagued by internal betrayals and setups. that those desperate for harmony, peace, and unity would allow its weak to suffer until the only option left is not prosperity but silence and preconceived "happiness"....

it's just fascinating to me how those following a path actually have the least of it. it's fascinating how the pathstriders of the preservation are on the brink of demise, the pathstriders of the hunt are under threat of ambush, the pathstriders of the harmony struggle to remain united and fair to their people.

I wish people who are so strict/irked about something, to the point of having a DNF/DNI about it in their bios/carrds, kept true to their own boundaries and avoided interacting with accounts corresponding to said DNF/DNI, especially when it's in plain sight in the first words of their bio. And not cross those boundaries only when it's convenient (to make use of their content).

It would be a sign of maturity, you know.
