I know I already posted this drawing once before but it bothered my SOUL because imo the rendering is so nice like I cooked so hard w it but their faces looked so fucking weird to me and I just needed to fix it up a little (also my Will design changed a bit)
Og under the cut....(Jumpscare warning)️
I can't describe the relief I feel now that I can appreciate the top tier rendering that I did without feeling horror at looking like their faces
Like Nico WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT?? he is directly behind you idc how far you turn your eyeballs you are not going to be able to see him!!!
#will does kind of have onion ring curls but it's okay#funny story- if you know hmrhd lore you know that I draw most of my art on the family computer#so my dad walked over while I was rendering Will's hair and went 'who are you drawing? Apollo?'#for context he doesn't know what pjo is about#doesn't know it has anything to do with greek mythology#he's not a mythology nerd himself#so idk how he just guessed that😭#he went on to say 'you drawing a greek hero or something ' and I was just looking at him like 😦🤨#i don't think I mentioned this in the og post but in my mind this drawing was like-#will and nico walking off after the whole coming out/asking out fiasco#both internally going 'holy shit this actually happened'#I don't usually characterize Nico as being 'the shy one' in the relationship#but I will argue that he was awkward as hell at the beginning#pjo fanart#pjo ships#solangelo#pjo nico di angelo#pjo nico#the sun and the star#hmrhd arts

Hiii!
I just recently saw your PJO fanfics about Nico and I loved them.
And I also noticed the severe lack of PJO x male reader fics in general. So I was hoping if you could write a fanfic with son of Demeter reader x Percy Jackson. (Can be a fanfic or just headcannons ur choice)
You don't have to do this request but it would be nice ^-^
Alright ty for listening to my Ted talk
Wildflower (Percy Jackson x Son of Demeter)
Thanks for the request :) You really had me dig out my books to remember how Demeter was portrayed, and surprisingly, she's kind, so it wasn't much trouble doing this request. It seems I got carried away, so I hope you enjoy!
tags: fluff, some angst, overprotective Demeter, who knows who your father is, headcanon and fanfic, mentions of calypso, break up/make up
Being a son of Demeter is a big deal. Because although she wasn't a virgin like Artemis or Hestia, it was rather difficult for a mortal to catch her attention. So not only are you a demigod but also cursed (lucky) to be a descendent of such an esteemed goddess.
Compared to other campers, you don't hate your godly parent. Sure, your mom is absent for many things and your memories of her are rather scarce, but, on the flip side, you are made aware of just how much your mother loves you. Afterall, you are her youngest child and she must keep an eye on you.
So, when news reaches her that you've begun dating Percy Jackson, she grows overprotective. What do you expect? After the whole fiasco with your sister, Persephone, she wants the best for her son. So expect the goddess to keep an eye on you two.
Percy doesn't mind your mother's overbearingness. In fact, it reminds him of his own mother. However, this doesn't mean that Percy is reckless. Demeter might be kind, but inquiring her wrath was stupid. So, he's extra careful and strives to show respect to the goddess—never stepping on flowers, always keeping a respectful distance from sacred plants, and treating every piece of nature as if Demeter herself is watching.
It takes some time, but your mother comes around. In fact, she's pleased you found someone 'worthy' of your affections. This might or might not have something to do with the fact that Percy has begun helping you tend a garden dedicated to her. Growing flowers known to be sacred to Demeter, like poppies and wheat. They work on it together, Percy’s hands clumsy but earnest.
Not everything in your relationship is easy. There are times, winter and fall especially, when your mood is foul and Percy is no help at all. His recklessness and impulsivity always ticks you off, but none more so when he keeps secrets from you. Like how Calypso kissed him before departing Ogygia.
The moment you saw him walking down the hill, something was off. He had that nervous look in his sea-green eyes, the one he got when he was about to face something dangerous—only this time, it was you. You crossed your arms, trying to root yourself in place, like your mother, Demeter, had taught you. But the anger simmering inside made that hard.
Percy reached you, giving a half-hearted smile. “Hey, I—”
“You kissed her?” Your words cut through the air like a sharp gust of wind.
Percy blinked, looking caught off guard. “What? No, it’s not like that—”
“Don’t lie to me, Percy.” You felt your fists tighten, your connection to the earth deepening as the grass beneath your feet curled and twisted with your emotions. “You let her kiss you, didn’t you?”
His brows furrowed, and he stepped closer. “It wasn’t like that. Calypso was—she was saying goodbye. It wasn’t…I didn’t want to hurt her.”
“You didn’t want to hurt her?” You repeated, the words feeling bitter on your tongue. “What about me? Or did you think I wouldn’t find out?”
Percy exhaled sharply, rubbing the back of his neck, clearly frustrated. “I was stuck on her island. I didn’t ask to be there! She kissed me because she had to say goodbye to something she couldn’t keep. It wasn’t my choice.”
You laughed, but it was bitter, like the taste of dry soil. “Maybe not, but you didn’t stop her either.”
Percy’s eyes flashed with frustration, the sea’s storm brewing behind them. “Come on, that’s not fair!” he snapped, his voice rising above the whispering trees. “I was stuck on a cursed island, not on some vacation! What was I supposed to do? Tell her no? I didn’t exactly have a lot of options.”
You took a step back, the sting of his words making your chest tighten. But anger pushed you forward again, overriding any hint of reason. “No, what’s unfair is me thinking you were gone, Percy!” Your voice cracked, but you didn’t care. The pain had to come out somehow. “I waited here for weeks, wondering if this was the quest that would take you away from me forever. Did you even think once of me while you were away? Or was Calypso the only thing on your mind?”
Percy opened his mouth, but for a moment, no words came out. The guilt that flashed across his face was brief, but it was there, plain as day. “Of course I thought of you,” he said, his voice softer now, though still tinged with frustration. “I thought about you every single day. But I was stuck on that island with no way out. It wasn’t about wanting to be with her. I was just trying to survive.”
“And that’s supposed to make it okay?” You could feel the vines creeping up again, brushing against your ankles like a reminder of everything you were trying to hold in. “You were trapped; I get that. But a kiss, Percy? Do you know how that sounds?”
“I didn’t want this to happen,” he whispered, his voice softer now, almost pleading. “I didn’t mean to hurt you.”
You looked away, blinking back the sting of tears you refused to let him see. “Well, you did.”
The silence between you was heavy, thicker than any storm. Percy stared at you, guilt and regret etched into every line of his face. “I don’t know how to fix this,” he said, almost to himself.
You swallowed hard, forcing the lump in your throat down. “I don’t either, but right now, I need to figure out if I even want to.”
To say Demeter was mad at Percy is an understatement. The goddess's wrath casted a dark cloud over Camp Half-Blood that left even the bravest demigods feeling uneasy. Percy found himself stuck inside his cabin, trapped by an invisible force of nature, the very flora that usually thrived in the camp now threatening to attack him.
Not even Poseidon, the god of the sea, could ease some of Demeter’s anger. He tried to vouch for Percy and his love for you, yet the mere mention of Percy's name caused your mother to shake the ground beneath him. That was the first and last time he meddled in your affairs.
The campers were worried for both of you—the fight had clearly affected everyone, their agriculture suffering greatly, but they truly believed you guys were it. So it pained them to see the perfect couple at the verge of going seperate ways.
It was Annabeth who managed to get you two to talk things through. With her acting as the mediator, you three were locked inside a room and forced to speak about your feelings. Looking back, it was comical how it closely resembled marriage counseling.
The room felt thick with tension, every breath heavy as if weighed down by the unspoken emotions swirling between you, Percy, and Annabeth. You sat on the edge of the worn-out couch, legs bouncing anxiously, eyes fixed on the floor as if the threadbare carpet held the answers you desperately sought. Percy was beside you, close but not close enough. The usual warmth of his presence felt distant, and though you could sense his guilt radiating off him, it wasn’t enough to bridge the gap.
Annabeth stood before you both, arms crossed over her chest, her expression a blend of sympathy and frustration. She was here as a mediator, but even the daughter of Athena couldn’t easily navigate this emotional minefield. “Let’s just go over the events,” she said, trying to keep her voice steady. She turned to Percy, urging him to explain. “What led to the kiss?”
Percy sighed deeply, running a hand through his unruly hair as he gathered his thoughts. “Calypso gave me some items—supplies, food—and made sure the raft was stable enough to withstand the ocean’s currents. I was grateful; she’d done so much to help me. So, I turned to say goodbye and thank her when she…when she suddenly kissed me.” He glanced at you, his eyes pleading. “M/N, please believe me when I say that I didn’t reciprocate—I didn’t want it.”
You finally looked up, eyes locking onto his with an intensity that made him flinch. “That’s not the problem, Percy,” you said, your voice surprisingly calm but laced with hurt. “What hurt me was that you didn’t push her away, that she thought you were interested enough to even try.”
You paused, swallowing the lump in your throat as you tried to keep your composure. “During your time on Ogygia, did you ever once mention that you had a boyfriend? Did you ever think of me when you were with her?”
Percy’s eyes widened in panic, the hurt in your words cutting deeper than any monster’s blade ever could. He reached out, but his hand fell short, hovering between you as if afraid to cross the fragile line that now separated you two. Desperation filled his voice as he finally spoke, each word trembling with urgency and raw honesty.
“I did tell her,” Percy blurted, his voice cracking. “Gods, I talked about you all the time. From the moment I set foot on that island, I told Calypso about you. Every single day. I told her how you were waiting for me, how you were my anchor—my reason for fighting and my reason I couldn’t stay with her. She knew, M/N. She knew you were my everything.” He ran a hand over his face, trying to hold back the tears that were threatening to spill.
Annabeth’s expression softened as she glanced at you, silently urging you to listen. Percy’s words were coming from the heart, and even she couldn’t deny the sincerity in his voice. But the pain in your eyes remained.
“When I first got there, I was barely conscious,” Percy continued, his voice softer now, tinged with a mix of sorrow and desperation. “I was so beaten up, so tired, and all I could do was mumble your name. Over and over, even in my sleep. She heard me say it—Calypso heard me calling out for you, asking for you.” He paused, swallowing hard. “She knew there was someone else. She knew how much I loved you. I made it clear, but I didn’t push her away fast enough. I was stupid, and Im so sorry.”
You felt your heart twist at his confession, the image of Percy lying on that distant shore, broken and alone, but still calling out for you. It was the kind of story you had dreamed about before—the hero fighting impossible odds, returning home to the one he loved. But now, hearing it from his lips, the romance was stripped away, leaving only the raw truth of a mistake made in a vulnerable moment.
Annabeth cleared her throat, trying to diffuse the tension, but even she seemed at a loss. “Look,” she said gently, “what matters now is where you go from here. You two have been through worse together. If you still want this—if you still want each other—then you’ll find a way.”
Percy reached out again, hesitantly, his fingers brushing against yours. “I’m not perfect, M/N. I screw up, and I hurt you, but I want to make this right. I love you, and I’ll spend every day proving it if you’ll let me.”
Even if you forgive Percy, you take baby steps to rebuild your trust. You agree to talk more openly about your feelings and avoid keeping secrets from one another. Percy goes out of his way to make you feel valued, leaving you notes, planning small dates, and constantly reminding you how much you mean to him.
Percy knows he didn't only need to seek forgiveness from you, but your mother. To truly show his commitment, he request a chance to speak to the goddess. It’s terrifying—facing the goddess’s wrath head-on—but he humbly apologizes and explains how deeply he loves you, promising to never let you feel sidelined again. Demeter doesn’t forgive easily, but she appreciates Percy’s bravery and sincerity, granting her reluctant approval with a warning not to hurt her son again.
To solidify his commitment, Percy organizes a surprise picnic in the strawberry fields—your favorite spot. It’s filled with your favorite foods, and Percy shyly presents a flower crown he made himself, though it’s a little uneven. It’s simple but heartfelt, symbolizing his renewed promise to always cherish you.
After reconciling, you and Percy start talking about your future together, beyond Camp Half-Blood. You both decide that New Rome is the perfect place to build a life after everything you’ve been through. The idea of living among other demigods and having a peaceful life feels like a dream finally within reach.
The move to New Rome is filled with excitement and nerves. You find a cozy apartment together, and even simple things like grocery shopping or decorating the space feel like small adventures. It’s a fresh start, and every day feels like you’re building something new, hand in hand.
One evening after a particularly good day—whether it’s celebrating an exam passed or simply enjoying each other’s company—Percy gets down on one knee. He doesn’t have a grand speech prepared; he just tells you how much you mean to him and how he can’t imagine a life without you. The ring is simple, with a small gemstone that reminds you of the sea, and you say yes without hesitation.
Surrounded by your friends from Camp Half-Blood and New Rome, you and Percy get married in a beautiful ceremony filled with flowers and ocean-themed decorations. Demeter attends, blessing the union with flourishing blooms, a sign of her approval and happiness for you both. The ceremony is intimate, filled with laughter, tears, and the undeniable feeling that you’ve both found your forever.

A Percabeth AU where they keep their relationship secret in fear of what their parents might think. (Warning: this goes over both PJO and HoO so it's very long):
The beginning of TLT goes as it should but after Percy is claimed, Annabeth is suddenly meaner and colder.
He remembers the Poseidon/Athena rivalry but doesn't see why they have to hate each other bcuz of their parents.
But Annabeth doesnt relent.
They still go on the quest together bcuz "you are so going to fail without a daughter of Athena."
But they still argue a lot and give poor Grover a satyr migraine.
When they have that bonding moment on the truck, Percy thinks maybe they're sorta friends, but Annabeth proves that wrong later by calling him a "Seaweed Brain" bcuz he's so stupid.
Percy fires back with "Wise Girl" but Annabeth seems to take that as more of a compliment than an insult.
(He doesn't stop calling her that tho)
After Luke betrays Percy, Annabeth's the one that found him after the dryads and she drags him to the infirmary but completely denies caring about him afterwards.
By SoM, Percy is so done with this and goes over to her asking if they could be friends.
Annabeth, who actually would like to be his friend, agrees with reluctancy, saying, "We have to keep it a secret though, or who knows what our parents might do."
Percy agrees.
Grover knows they're friends now cuz of the empathy link, but doesn't say anything.
In TTC, when Annabeth falls off the cliff, he blames himself more than ever, bcuz if they hadn't been fake arguing she might not have been distracted and fallen.
Thalia blames him even more too, and he has to keep his cover and can't tell her he knows it's all his fault.
Nico asks if Annabeth is Percy's girlfriend.
He says no, but he has a funny feeling in his heart.
He goes to the attic to ask the Oracle about Annabeth.
It doesn't answer.
When he thinks Artemis is about to ask Annabeth to join the Hunters, he knows he has to tell her something, even if it meant blowing their cover.
He breathes a sigh of relief when Artemis asks Thalia, and Annabeth is waiting for him to talk with narrowed eyes as if trying to figure out what he wants to say.
He chokes. (~Like doesn't say his feelings, not actually choke lol~)
In BotL, they are totally going out on a secret unofficial movie date but ofc the fiasco with Kelli at Goode happens.
Annabeth gets really jealous when Rachel appears. (Especially since Rachel has more opportunity to go out with Percy bcuz Annabeth and Percy have to pretend to hate each other.)
Percy, ofc, does not realize why in Hades she's acting like she really hates him even though they're in private.
At camp, they're playing Capture the Flag when they stumble on an entrance to the Labyrinth.
They go down to hide from monsters and end up stuck.
It's so dark Annabeth grabs his hand to keep from being separating. (~this is canon, they were holding hands I checked~)
When they find their way back out, it appears almost an hour had gone by when they were sure they were down for a couple minutes.
The campers were searching for the two of them and are immediately suspicious when they find the two alone. Together.
But they forget about that when Clarisse comes and asks about the "hole" they fell into and Annabeth suggests they continue talking in private.
It is then that Annabeth, Percy, Grover, and Tyson go on their quest.
When Annabeth and Percy reach Mount St. Helens they are quickly found out.
Percy tells Annabeth to escape saying he has a plan. (He really doesn't)
She kisses him. (~whaaaaaaaat~)
When she leaves, Percy apparently decides to cause a volcano to erupt. (~ya he doez~)
He lands on Ogygia, while Annabeth, thinking he is dead, goes back to camp, alone.
When she returns, they ask where Percy, Grover, and Tyson are but she refuses to say anything.
They realize what happened.
They have a burning of the shroud ceremony where she doesn't say anything, sitting, her face emotionless, but her heart in turmoil as she listens to Chiron.
That's when Percy crashes the funeral.
Annabeth is outraged.
She pretends it's because "THE WHOLE QUEST IS BEING HELD UP BECAUSE OF YOU! AND WHAT WERE YOU DOING, ENJOYING A VACATION AT PARADISE ISLAND?!?!"
It's really because she was head over heels with worry and grief (while he's off with sOmE imMorTal gOdDeSs) but she can't let anyone know that.
She is certainly not happy when Rachel joins their quest.
(Percy still doesn't get it.)
Before TLO, they are playing Capture the Flag, and the two are on opposite sides. (~in The Demigod Files, the story they find Festus for the first time in~)
Annabeth and Silena capture Percy and Beckendorf and the boys suffer an utter loss. (Were the myrmekes part of the plan? They'll never know.)
Beckendorf and Silena totally know they like each other no matter how much Percy and Annabeth fake it and try to get one of them to ask each other to the Independence Day firework show.
Annabeth does end up asking Percy and they watch the fireworks secretly next to the woods so no one sees them.
They hold hands or something else just as cute idk.
In TLO, when the Battle of Manhattan starts, everyone is surprised when Annabeth let's Percy take the lead.
When she takes the blade for Percy she says it was bcuz "I didn't know it was him!"
"So you would take a blade for anyone if it wasn't Percy?"
"...yes."
But by this time everyone secretly ships Percabeth so no one questions it.
After the war, Percy gives up immortality mostly for her but only those two know it. (And maybe Grover).
Annabeth asks him to meet her in the woods and when he does, she brings him a lumpy blue-colored cake which Tyson helped make. (Bcuz of course Tyson knows that they're secretly friends but Grover told him not to tell anyone).
They kiss, duh.
But then a monster comes out from the woods and they don't want to fight it after they just had a war so they run.
They end up by the lake and Percy pulls Annabeth in to get away from the monster.
Cue best underwater kiss ever.
They date in secret for two months but Percy's mom knows.
When Percy goes missing, Annabeth freaks.
She searches for him everywhere and if anyone asks why she's searching so hard for someone she doesn't even like, she just replies, "He probably just disappeared bcuz it's his turn to do the camp chores and I will not let him slack off," or "Who else am I supposed to use for target practice???"
(None of the campers who'd been in the Titan war buy it.)
In SoN, the only thing Percy remembers is Annabeth, but for some reason, he has this instinct to not tell anyone about her so he doesn't.
In MoA she still judo flips him and acts all mad (which she is) but he still laughs it off and says all sarcastic, "Oh, did the smartass daughter of Athena miss me?"
But he missed her too.
When they go to eat lunch Annabeth and Percy excuse themselves to "go to the bathroom" but they really snuck off to have their own private reunion.
"I missed you so much, Seaweed Brain. Don't ever disappear like that again."
"I'm sorry, Wise Girl. I missed you too."
*kissing*
Later, when Annabeth and Percy sneak off to the Pegasi stables on the Argo II and sleep next to each other.
Frank finds them.
They swear they didn't do anything and threaten Frank into silence.
He can never look at them the same way again though.
When Annabeth has to get the Athena Parthenos, Percy paces the deck of the Argo but says he's not worried about a daughter of Athena.
When she finally gets the statue, he goes down to meet her but she trips and falls into the Pit.
He catches her, but now he's hanging on a ledge.
"Percy, let me go. You can't pull us both up." She whispers, knowing they're too low for the others to hear.
"We're staying together. You're not getting away from me. Never again." He whispers back.
"As long as we're together."
At least in Tartarus, they don't have to pretend they don't absolutely, utterly love each other.
In Blood of Olympus, Percy, Annabeth, and Piper are walking underground to the monster's base in the Parthenon when they see a trident mark in the ground.
Annabeth says it's the place where Poseidon struck the ground.
At this point, Percy turns to Piper and asks, "Can you keep a secret?"
Piper nods.
That's when Percy kisses Annabeth.
When he pulls away, he says, "This is where the rivalry ends….for us, at least."
Piper acts surprised but on the inside she is rAGING bcuz now Leo owes her ten bucks but she can't tell him.
After the Giant war they consider telling their friends, but they're not sure…
Idk how to end this just keep going
Sort of a bonus:
The Hephaestus and Athena cabins worked together to make everyone monster-proof phones (which also correct their dyslexia) and Annabeth and Percy use them all the time to text each other and no one knows.
Jason asks Percy to come to a cafe with some of the others, and Annabeth and Percy are texting the whole time.
Their convo goes something like this:
'hey Annabeth, me, Jason, Frank and some of the others r going to that cafe on 31st street'
'*Jason, Frank, some of the others and I' 'Really? Piper, Hazel, and I are going there too. They mentioned Jason, Frank, and Leo might be there, but not you.'
'weird, they didn't say anything about u either' 'hey wait a sec, Jason's texting on some gc called Operation Get Them Together' 'the other guys' phones r ringing everytime he sends something…'
'What? Operation Get Them Together???'
'yeah'
'....'
'what'
'Oh no.'
'what??? Annabeth????'
'They're trying to set us up.'
'wdym set us up'
'I MEAN, they're TRYING to get us TO GET TOGETHER'
'huh?'
'THEY WANT US TO GO OUT PERCY! YOU KNOW, TO BE A COUPLE???'
'ok okkk u don't have to yell'
'🤦♀️'
'so what do we do'
'I think we should go along with it.'
'wait hold on, Jason's asking me who im texting'
'Wait, tell him it's your girlfriend. Just to screw with them.'
'haha yes ur a genius'
'I know.'
Percy tells Jason that he is texting his girlfriend, to which Jason replies by "What?!" and frantically starts typing on the group chat to tell everyone that 'YOU GUYS PERCY SAYS HE HAS A GF ABORT MISSION ABORT MISSION!!!'
To which Piper is the first to reply, saying, 'Nah, trust me, keep going with it'
At this point, they reach the cafe, and the boys and girls meet up at a table.
Annabeth, immediately going into acting mode, says, "What is he doing here?"
Percy fires back with a scowl and says, "You didn't tell me she was going to be here. I'm leaving."
Jason stops him tho
Percy and Annabeth sit down at the table, but everyone is still standing.
Piper and Hazel say they have to go to the bathroom and leave.
Jason and Leo say they're going to go order (even tho it's a sit down with a menu and order type of cafe???)
Everyone seems to have some kind of excuse to leave until Percy and Annabeth are left alone.
The two pull out their phones again.
'Seriously? This is their plan? Say we're all going out to eat and then leave the two of us alone?'
'ig' 'what do we do now'
'I don't know.' They're probably spying on us…'
'um is that Reyna, Hazel, and Calypso in the bushes with mud and green war paint on their faces?'
Reyna, Hazel, and Calypso were indeed hiding in the bushes (with binoculars) with mud and green war paint on their faces.
'Wtf?? How'd they do that so fast???' 'And is that Leo and Piper holding newspapers with eyeholes cut through???'
'lol yea...then that eagle flying above us is prolly Frank'
'Jason is hiding in the clouds to your six.'
'where r Nico and Will?'
'I think that's them making out in the bushes.'
'lmaoo im so gonna tease them for that' 'so what do we do now Wise Girl'
'...' 'Follow my lead.'
'k'
Annabeth puts away her phone and stands up.
Percy follows her lead.
She says, "We know you guys are there, just come out. It's not going to work. And we see you too, Nico and Will."
The other demigods come out of their hiding spots (the two who had been called out looking especially sheepish).
"Why not?" Piper says, knowing perfectly well why not.
Percy looks between Annabeth and Piper, and seems to come to a decision.
"Because," he says and goes over to Annabeth and kisses her, "we're already together."
The responses were very diverse.
"What?!"
"I knew it!"
"Leo! My ten bucks. Now."
"Yeah, I walked in on them sleeping together…"
"So we did all this for nothing???"
"Wait, did you say sleeping together?"
They arguing stops as two flashes of light almost blind everyone and two gods appear.
Poseidon and Athena.
For several seconds, the two gods just stare at Percy and Annabeth (who are now holding hands just bcuz)
Then, finally, after what seemed and EXCRUCIATINGLY long time, Poseidon turns to Athena and says:
"I was right, you were wrong, I was RIGHT, you were WRONG, I WAS RIGHT, YOU WERE WRONG, YOU OWE ME FIFTY DRACHMAS BIRD BRAIN"
This was not the reaction the demigods was expecting if you couldn't tell
Athena just scowls and makes a pouch filled with drachmas appear, and throws it at Poseidon.
Poseidon catches it, bringing out what appears to be a phone and starts calling someone.
Athena goes over to Percy and Annabeth.
She looks mad, and Annabeth tries to let go of Percy's hand, panicking, trying to think of a lie, but Percy doesn't let go.
"My daughter is the smartest and best of my children, and as much as I don't approve of this, if she chose you, sea-spawn, she must have a good reason. But if you step one foot out of line, I will have you punished, understood?"
Athena addresses this to Percy, who nods fearfully.
"Good."
Suddenly there are a bunch more flashes of light as more gods appear bcuz apparently, Poseidon wanted everyone to see that he was right and Athena was wrong.
Ofc chaos ensues.
But Percy and Annabeth are still holding hands and look at each other and feel overwhelmingly happy for the first time in a long time because now they don't have to keep their relationship a secret anymore.
THE END~

Too Young Pt. 2
Warnings: Swearing, angst. Think that’s it? Characters: Sam & Dean Winchester, Sister!Winchester Reader, Castiel Summary: Two years after finding out you’re Castiel’s soulmate, you find yourself in a different body. (don’t judge my summaries) Reader’s Age: 18 years old Word Count: 2337
Y/N: Your Name Y/N/N: Your Nickname PoV: Point of View
A/N: So uh funny story this took a completely different turn than what I had anticipated but I actually kinda like it. Not a fan of the ending as usual? Might do a part 3 if y’all want it. Enjoy!
Part 1
Eighteen years old. You were now eighteen years old. Your birthday was a few weeks ago. It has been two years since the whole soulmate fiasco, and no one has brought it up since.
You and your brothers were on a hunt; an angel hunt to be exact. It was all going reasonably smooth until an angel called in some back-up and now you're sitting on the ground, tied to poles. Fun, right?
"Where is he?" An angel pressed an angel blade to Dean's throat.
"I don't know," Dean hissed.
"Yes, you do! Where is Castiel?" The angel's voice grew with anger.
"We haven't heard from him in weeks!" Sam chimed in, hoping to get his attention away from Dean, but more importantly, get that blade away from Dean's neck. "We don't know where he is!"
"Call him," The angel walked over to Sam. "You," he pointed the blade at Dean, "Call him, or I slit your brother's throat,"
"He won't answer-" Dean was cut off.
"DO IT NOW!" The angel shouted, pressing the blade to Sam's throat. You instinctively tensed and inched forward, trying to get free.
"Cas! Get your ass down here!" Silence followed Dean's words as you all waited. "I told you, he won't answer,"
"You're just not trying hard enough," The angel walked away from Sam.
"What do you even want with him anyway?" You asked. The angel rushed over to you, placing the blade to your throat.
"He's killed so many of my brothers and sisters; he doesn't deserve to live anymore," The angel applied pressure to the blade. You felt slight pain and liquid running down your neck.
"Get away from her!" Dean shouted, jerking against his restraints.
The angel smirked. "Why didn't I see it before?" He flicked the blade away from you. "Call Castiel again, but this time, mention his little soulmate," Dean hesitated, "Do it, or she dies," he took a step towards you.
"Cas! Cas, damn it, you need to get down here, or Y/N is gonna get hurt! You, bastard, get down here!"
Nothing.
The angel sighed, "Well... Can't say I'm not disappointed... but I guess if I can't kill Castiel, then I'll kill the next best thing," the angel lifted the blade and it went flying towards you. You gasped as you felt it dig into your chest.
"NO!" Dean screamed. You gasped for air, your head moving back and forth as you tried to speak. You looked up at your brothers who could do nothing but watch. Sam and Dean were shouting, but you drowned it out. Your eyelids began to get heavy; your head slowly went back as it rested on the pole behind you, darkness surrounding you.
"Brittany, breakfast's ready!"
You shot up, gasping. You looked down at your chest, seeing nothing but a black tank top. Your heart pounded against your chest as you steadied your breathing, placing a hand on the spot on your chest where you once saw an angel blade. You looked around the room; the walls were painted a pastel purple, there was a desk and computer, a vanity, and in the corner was a dog bed with a Siberian Husky sleeping soundly.
You stood up and rushed over to the vanity, staring at your reflection in the mirror. You didn't recognize the face staring back at you. You touched your face before pinching yourself, making sure you weren't dreaming.
"Brittany! Come downstairs and eat! You'll be late for work!" A woman's voice yelled.
You swallowed the lump in your throat. "I'll be down in a sec!" You replied, slightly jumping at the voice that came out of your mouth. You looked at the walls, trying to make sense of what was going on. Above the bed was a big letter B. "Brittany..." You whispered. You jumped back when you felt something touch your hand, relaxing when you saw the dog you had noticed early. "Hey, boy," you let him sniff you before rubbing his head. "Wanna tell me what the hell is happening?" You sighed and began walking downstairs, looking all over for any clues.
You stopped at the bottom of the stairs, seeing a bench with mail on it. You grabbed it and began looking through it. "Minnesota?" You whispered.
"Expecting something?" The same woman's voice spoke. You dropped the mail and jumped back. "Oh! Sorry, dear, I didn't mean to scare you," she smiled, "Come on, you have to eat before you go to work."
You took a deep breath, "Right, give me a minute," she nodded before walking away. You looked down by your side to see the dog. "Any time you wanna tell me what's going on would be great," you knelt down, searching for the dog's collar in his thick fur, "What's your name anyway?" You searched for the tags, "Nico, huh? Well, Nico, I don't think I'm your owner," you scratched behind his ears, "I still love you anyway," you chuckled to yourself.
You slowly walked into the kitchen; you kept expecting something to pop out at you. "What time am I working?" You decided to try and get more information.
"It's on the calendar, sweetie," the woman didn't turn around as she put pancakes onto a plate.
You looked around, trying to find said calendar before your eyes landed on it hanging on the fridge. You walked over, "What's today?" You asked.
"Tuesday," she replied.
"Uh, the date?" You turned slightly to see her walking into what you assumed was the dining room.
"Thirteenth!" She hollered from the other room.
You took a minute to walk around the kitchen before making your way out. "Uh... Mom?" You hesitantly spoke as you joined the woman in the dining room. She looked up at you with a smile. "If I asked you what you think my favorite part of my job is, what would you say?" You tried to trick her into giving you hints at what your job is.
Her eyebrows furrowed together. "Well, I would probably have to say-" before she could finish, you were pushed to the side.
"Move!" A little boy ran into the room, followed by a slightly older boy who both sat down at the table. The younger one was around eight, and the older one was maybe thirteen.
"Justin! Daniel! You do not run in this house, how many times do I have to say that?" She scolded the two young boys before standing up. "Honey, why don't you just go get ready, and I'll pack a small snack for your breakfast in with your lunch?" She patted your shoulder before disappearing into the kitchen.
"Why are you staring at us, you freak?" The younger of the two snapped at you. You squinted your eyes. You assumed they were your brothers, making you the oldest. You just rolled your eyes, mumbling a 'rude' before walking back upstairs.
You shut your door, but not before letting Nico in. You went into your closet, looking at all the clothes. Your eyebrows furrowed together as a look of disgust took over your face. The fashion sense that this 'Brittany' has definitely does not match yours. The closet was full of bright colors, skirts, short-shorts, and a few jeans. You picked out a shirt that was dark blue and grabbed some skinny blue jeans. You rummaged around, trying to find something that was at least a little familiar, finally finding a red flannel that was tossed in a pile of clothes. You put on the flannel as you walked out of the closet, your eyes landing on the phone on the bed.
You grabbed it, silently cheering that it had fingerprint-ID. You searched through it for a few minutes, trying to find any other clues. You sighed before opening up the dial-pad. You entered the number that you know so well and pressed the phone to your face, hearing it ring. You waited for a few minutes, but no answer — not even a voicemail option.
"Of course," you mumbled, looking over at Nico. "Anything? Trust me; a talking dog will be the least surprising thing to happen today," Nico merely wagged his tail in response to the attention.
You grabbed the keys that sat on the bedside table and headed downstairs.
"You're wearing that to work?" Your 'mom' asked.
You looked at her as you opened the door, "Uh, casual... Tuesday?" You shut the door behind you. You clicked the button on the car fob and saw a slug-bug light up. Your shoulders slouched as you stared at what Dean would call an abomination. You took a deep breath; you just had to make it to Lebanon, Kansas.
...Sam and Dean's PoV...
Your brothers sat in the library. All they could think about was your lifeless body laying in your bed. It had been a long, quiet, drive back to the bunker.
"We should burn her," Sam finally broke the silence, his voice cracking slightly.
"No," Dean quickly replied. He stared at the glass of whiskey in his hand.
"She deserves a hunter's funeral," Sam wasn't sure if he wanted to get into this right now, but he pressed on.
"She deserves to be alive," Dean said through gritted teeth.
"Dean-" Sam stopped when he saw a familiar angel appear behind Dean. Dean noticed the sudden pause and followed Sam's eyes. Both brothers shot up, Dean's glass falling to the floor as he pinned the angel to a pillar.
"What the hell, Cas!?" Dean shouted, his emotions finally coming out, "She's dead because of you! We called you! We needed you, and you weren't there! Where the hell were you?!" Dean pulled Cas slightly forward before slamming him against the pillar.
"I'm sorry," Cas spoke, guilt was laced throughout his voice.
"You're-" Dean let go of the angel, running a hand through his hair. "Why don't you tell my dead sister that! You had a chance to save her! That damn angel wanted you, Cas! He wanted you, and my little sister paid the price! Now tell me, how do you plan on getting her back, hm?"
Castiel opened his mouth to speak, but the sound of the bunker door opening made him stop. All three men went into the war room.
"Who are you?" Sam pulled out his gun and pointed it at the intruder.
...Your PoV...
"Whoa, Sammy, chill," you chuckled, forgetting you looked completely different.
"How do you know my name?" He took a step towards you.
"Guys, calm down! It's me, Y/N," you told them.
Before you could react, Dean rushed at you, pinning you to the wall with a gun in your face. "Like hell you are. Y/N is dead. Her body is in her room. I carried her there. I don't care if this is some sick game, but if you don't tell me why the hell you're here then I will blow your damn brains out," you had never been more terrified of your brother. You've seen him threaten people, but you had never seen the look in his eyes when he does — the pure anger, hatred, and truth behind those bright green orbs.
"Dean," Cas chimed in, "It's her,"
Dean looked over at Cas, "And why the hell should I trust you after what you let happen?" Dean's voice was so low it gave you chills.
"Dean," Sam spoke this time, setting a hand on his shoulder. Dean's eyes stared holes into you. You really saw him contemplating shooting you right then and there. If it weren't for Sam's hand being on his shoulder, Dean would've pulled the trigger. Dean huffed and walked away.
"I know I don't look like me, but I swear it is. I don't know what happened, okay? I woke up in a very purple room somewhere in Minnesota with a strange woman, a dog, and two very rude little boys," you paused, "But I swear, this is me,"
"It's true. One of the things about soulmates is that their soul lives on. If the vessel is compromised, then the soul finds the nearest suitable vessel to occupy." Cas informed everyone.
"I'm not buying it," Dean spun around, and you could practically see the steam coming out of his ears.
You stared at him for a moment, "Do you remember when I was seven, and I fell off a swingset? I scraped my knees up pretty badly. I remember you kneeling down next to me. I was bawling my eyes out, and all you had to do was wipe them away for them to stop coming. You told me that I had to be strong, but that it was okay to cry every now and then. You helped me get up, clean myself off, got me all patched up, and I went right back to playing. I remember when I was eleven, and I fell out of a tree outside some motel room," you smiled at your stupidity, "I went into the motel room, and you asked me what had happened and when I told you, you asked why I wasn't crying. And I distinctly remember me saying, 'Because you told me I have to be strong,'" you held back the tears, "So don't look at me like you don't know me because I know for a fact that deep down, you believe I'm who I say I am,"
Silence filled the air.
"Y/N/N?" Dean's voice was barely a whisper.
"Yeah," you huffed as Dean pulled you into a hug. You instantly wrapped your arms around him.
You two stayed like that for a few moments before Dean let you go. You smiled at him before turning to Sam who engulfed you into a hug. Sam placed small kisses on the top of your head.
Sam let you go, and you turned to Castiel. "Y/N, I-" You cut him off.
"It's okay, Cas. No hard feelings. Just... Please tell me you can get me back in my body," you closed your eyes. You knew the answer, but you had hope.
"I'm sorry, I can't..." Castiel looked at the floor. You nodded.
Dean placed a hand on your shoulder, "We'll find a way, we always do," he said. You smiled at him, knowing that no matter what body you were in, you'd always find your family.
