I really love this pack! I know I say that a lot lately haha but I trully love this one.

Back when Growing Together went on sale, a friend of mine give it to me.... I decided to play with a sim called Pilar to test the expansion pack and she fell in love with Don Lothario. I don't hate Don, I actually love him. I read an NSB that redeemed him a few years ago and I started to love him. So I was glad that my lovely Pilar fell in love with him in this save. They woohoo and my game decided to troll me and give me for the first time a pregnancy with triplets... no traits used no on the sims, nor in the lot... It was just a game's choice.

A few days later, when the triplets were beautiful infants, Pilar and Don wished to woohoo again... I was hesitant xD (I have Mccc and WW installed, and I have a % to get a sim pregnant even with the normal woohoo interaction) and every time they were going to Woohoo, I would cancel the action, but after canceling it about 5 or 6 times, I decided to let them be haha and that was a mistake, 'cause they got pregnant again... with triplets.... yeah... no cheats, no traits... it just seems that this Don and my lovely Pilar were too fertiles... hahahaha...

Anyway, I got two triplets in a row, with just two woohoo tries... and that was when I started to think about triplet packs. Actually, that's how my "Infant_poses_01" came to life... and now you have this new posepack, inspired for that unexpected event to "complete" in a way the triplet's journal... haha kind of a "memories" posepack, triplets for all ages from infants to teen/adults.

Me, rambling about Peitha? It's more likely then you thing!

[ft. a talk about the way tumblr treats female characters]

kinda outta nowhere post, tho this came back to my mind bcs of the small conversation around the way female characters are treated and viewed on gw2 Tumblr. Fair warning I am not planing to try and surge coat my words here, apologies if I will be coming off as harsh, blunt or accusatory but I wish to make my opinions and my experience clear.

While this no longer affects my mood and enjoyment as much as it did when the "conversation" was fresh. I am still very disappointed in the fandom/community for jumping onto take/narrative that Peitha is and was just "generic sexy demon woman and just fan service" listen, I have 0 issues with the sentiment and opinions of wishing she had looked more like her brothers. That isn't an unreasonable want to have had. However [while I wont be naming names bcs it wasn't ever one person] it seems many people took that as an opportunity and excuse to tare down and insult any of her feminine appearance.

"she has lip enhancements" "She has curves" "They gave her eyelashes even tho she has no hair" "they textured her ass that way for the men"

All of these are things I've seen said. And I simply want to ask, why are these bad things? Why is the fact Peitha has the illusion of curves, a more full upper lip, modeled yet subtle lashes, and a juicy ass covered by a flesh skirt bad things or inherently sexual? Why do they deem her design fan service/generic sexy demon woman?

Why is it that having physically feminine traits deems a female character inherently sexual and negative?

The one thing you can point to with her and deem making her character come off sexual/sensual is the way she talks and some of her comments that can come off as flirting. And if that's something that bothers you then that's okay, that's a valid feeling. You don't have to like Peitha, or love her design, but you also don't need to try justifying it by writing off her design as "just fan service, male gaze, generic sexy demon woman"

I think one of the greater underlying issues that these takes came from is the way some people seem to think that when they voice their want for more masculine or monsters looking female characters, they must also in the same breath condemn the female characters that don't fit that want. Maybe its bcs I'm a dyke and in the lesbian community, but we can bring up and apprentice the validity of masc presenting women without taring down femme presenting woman. The whole point is that both are equal in the way of being a woman one is not inherently superior to the other.

With that said I want it to be clear I hold no resentment or grudges against the people who participated those conversations. Neither do I look down on them. I simply wish for people to really think on:

Why they see Peitha's feminine features as inherently sexual and negative.

tennisblr exchange/fest: follow-up poll and questions

thanks to everyone who showed enthusiasm for a potential tennisblr fic/art/fanworks event!!

about 75% of respondents who expressed interest in participating indicated that it would depend on timing and format, so here are some questions about timing and format.

important note: if you too are mainly on tumblr, you should know that there is ALSO a fic exchange happening via the tennis rpf discord!

my Vision was for a multimedia event—currently thinking fic, art, and edits/fanvids tho see below on that—so planning to move forward in some form but when/how is up in the air. open questions about format below the cut—namely, exchange vs fest. thoughts welcome in replies or via dm/ask if you prefer!

i was initially envisioning a classic secret gift exchange via the ao3 platform. (you are matched with a recipient -> you create a gift for them -> you post your gift to the anon exchange collection on ao3 -> the exchange collection goes live -> creator names are revealed.) a few cons here: everyone has to get an ao3 account, ao3 isn't the ideal platform for graphics and video. also depending on how unique your artistic style is, posting anon might be sort of besides the point. lmao.

having said that, the one major advantage ao3 has is great admin tools—particularly, mods/admins can see who has finished and posted their gift. this is important because the worst-case scenario for a gift exchange is that someone ghosts their recipient, and if it's up to each participant to post their work to their own tumblr, this becomes exponentially more likely. no matter how many check-ins there are.

so if it's an exchange ao3 is the way to go. however the other option is NOT an exchange but an open prompt fest, which could also be fun!! i'm personally fond of the exchange format (when you're creating for someone i think you're a little more motivated to think about people/ships/ideas that might not have otherwise occured to you) but maybe we don't need two??? an open fest would also allow for more people to participate on the fly, as irl allows, and potentially for people to create a wider variety of work like moodboards, playlists, etc.

eta: what i mean by open prompt fest: everyone submits prompts (as general or specific as you want, e.g. "anything focused on zhang zhizhen", "sincaraz uni au", "naomi osaka edit to number one fan") -> the mod/admin blog posts all the prompts anonymously -> you create based on whatever prompts inspire you -> you post during the posting period!

this is possibly too deep in the weeds for most people to care lol but if you have thoughts i'd be happy to hear them!

(and yes once timing format etc is decided on there will be a dedicated blog... just waiting to roll that out until further decisions are made. @oof-ouch-yikes-stripes is going to help out with admin and ideally we'll get one more person on board!!)

Also, calmness is never an option

I am a 21 year-old woman (she/her but I don't mind they/them either) from Germany who has recently developed an unhealthy obsession for Baldur's Gate 3 and ESPECIALLY Halsin (my beloved oak daddy <3).

So I created this blog mainly so I can simp shamelessly here and not worry about my friends who follow my other blog finding out about it.

My fandoms include the Tolkien universe, Narnia, Good Omens, OfmD, Sherlock, Star Wars, Supernatural (I am only at season 6 tho), Skyrim and a lot more I have temporarily forgotten.

My favourite authors (who I can definetely recommend checking out) are T.J. Klune, Tolkien obviously, Kerstin Gier, Walter Moers, Ursula Poznanski and Neil Gaiman (was tempted to tag him but I'm too shy).

I love sewing (starting my apprenticeship as a taylor this year), ballet, drawing and painting, archery, videogames, reading, listening to music, being with my best friends, movie nights, baking and cooking, my cat, travelling (without plane), nature... damn, I could do this all day, life is fucking great actually

i said it because even if we dont interact anymore, i hate seeing people get kicked when theyre down. i cant stand bullying and i cant stand condescending bullshit directed at people who dont deserve it. it wasnt a waste of time because any time a person is getting hurt and they dont deserve it, i step in. i dont care if it was my business or not. it wasnt a waste of time because you still deserve to be treated with respect.

ill say it as many times as i have to but you really dont deserve the hatred you receive. everyone in that server kept telling you that we never hated you but you kept believing we did to the point where it felt like you were making us out to be the bad guys. it was incredibly unhealthy on both sides. we hoped that if we just stayed moots with you on tumblr that itd be okay and that you could distance yourself as much as you needed to so that it wouldnt be so overwhelming.

i see that that probably wasnt really issue but possibly several other things. if you want to stop posting content related to alnst then so be it. thats your decision. we will dwell on you because youre an amazing person and there are many fond memories with you and your characters. if you dont want to participate in any of the fan seasons, including sona season, then we will make adjustments for you. whatever you want to do with your characters is completely up to you.

You all have NEVER annoyed me or pushed me, at all (only ever asked me for some small things, or actually nothing at all). I just wanted to ask why you think Summons are *inherently* cheese, exactly? It's... like it's just a part of the game. You don't have to use it, but people who use it aren't cheesing the game -- the game is unfair, by design, and it expects you to get every edge you can. Like, you not liking summons is fine, but by the exact same token, people that use summons are also fine?? and judging them for using a game mechanic you don't to enjoy the game is... like, kinda not cool actually. No respect for the summon gankers that dogpile invaders tho. those guys suck.

I explained in a big post about summons I'm a bit too lazy to find it now here are the points from it quickly. I wanna preface this by saying that the game isn't actually unfair. There are literally like 1 unreactable attack in the entire game, and a couple bosses are badly designed with poor visibility, but those are exceptions that prove the rule, those are mistakes the devs made.

1. Summons break the combat fundamentally due to the fact that no boss in the game, not even the ones intended to be fought in a group like Radahn, have the capacity to fight 2 different targets at the same time. The whole game is fundamentally dodging and hitting: finding openings to attack a boss and learning timings to avoid damage. With summons you can remove that entirely by controlling the aggro of a boss.

2. Spirit summons specifically lower the multiplayer activity. Fromsoft removed solo invasions and spirit summons are much easier to use than finding a real player, so there is less coop happening and less invasions. The game became less social as a result.

3. The playerbase is fractured because of how fundamentally different the game is for those who use summons. When someone beats a boss and posts about it on Tumblr my first question always is "Did you use summons?" because if they didn't, only then I know that they actually learned the boss or found an interesting strategy. "Oh but huggingtentacles isn't that kinda mean, why aren't you just happy for everyone who beats a boss?" because I'm tired of keeping congratulating their mimic tear. Someone even made a funny comic way back in the day about how it's actually the mimic tear who deserves to become Elden Lord lol. "But the player themselves also participated in the fight" Maybe they did, but they didn't have to.

4. Spirit summons have 0 trade-off. It's only benefits and zero drawbacks. Back in the day you had to spend some minor resource for it that was semi-valuable in other fromsoft games, but in Elden Ring there is no cost to summoning, making them always the optimal strategy for every fight. It's the definition of overpowered. It's badly balanced compared to the rest of the game. With regular summons it's only kinda true. They're still overpowered but at least bosses get higher resistances, health and stance. Doesn't affect the rest of the game tho.

I don't judge anyone using spirit summons or summons in general. I dislike the mechanic for my personal reasons, but the people who use it are fine. Maybe they just don't want to engage with the combat in a combat centred action RPG. Let's be real, Elden Ring is just a dress-up game with combat.

I just think having a mechanic like that diminishes the experience of Fromsoft games and takes away a lot from the gameplay and the whole "overcoming adversity for a satisfying victory" thing. They could make it better, improve the enemy AI, add a real cost to summoning. It's not fundamentally a bad idea it's just badly executed.

i'm saying just "genders" instead of "not cis" to include both fully binary trans people, nonbinary people, and agender people (-> people who are never their first gender) and also fluid gender stuff + multiple gender stuff where people are sometimes their first gender and so they're sometimes cis and stuff. also system shit where people have multiple genders and it gets complicated and stuff

this is also to include people who Used To Gender and now have detransitioned/desisted/etc but still feel Weird about calling themselves cis again or still calling themselves not cis. you don't have to worry about it we love and support you here

i have been on the platform since 2012 but i have never actually wrote any posts so i finally made a decision to create a new personal account (even tho that account have been created and been empty since 2020 but these last four years were hard for everyone). I graduated from a university in 2021 and got a translator degree but due to various reasons (in the world and in general) it was hard to apply it in job searching. and i've been feeling super lost and depressed all these years. and i decided to give a chance my small coding dream since i had since high school (in my country we need to pass entry exams at school and my computer science teacher prohibited me even trying passing the exam and during that time i was listless and AGAIN a lost teenager who had no idea what to do with their life so i didn't even try fighting and just gave up the idea and chose a path of my other passion: languages /after graduation i picked up japanese so i keep learning new stuff and it helps me a lot to cope ig/) so here i am just turned 26 this month and started learning how to code last month only. i had a slight idea of how html worked plus we had python usage in linguistic at university (for some reason it was super weird lol) i have been practicing for 10 days straight so i thought it's gonna be a good idea to participate in 100 days of coding as almost a complete beginner and track my progress (plus i haven't actually been practicing english that much so it is also a good reason to start that blog) so my progress in the last 10 days looks like that: 1. revised html basics 2. started css journey

i use online video courses on Youtube by freeCodeCamp.org and creating an actual web styling with a tutor does actually help a lot! i enjoy studying but i do understand that i need much more time to practice myself

after i am planning to start JavaScript but we'll see how it will go and i am still not sure which path to choose but ig front-end sympathise me a lot plus i am planning to pass JLPT N3 this year so maybe i will post some updates too but i am not sure yet is it better to participate in summer or winter exam i don't think anyone will be interested in my journey but when i see people posting their progress in any sphere it inspires me a lot

My current ao3 word count is 165,375 words. TSAR is responsible for, like, 70% of that word count.

What fandoms do you write for?

On ao3, I've only posted for Critical Role, and I do not foresee that changing, but who knows! Before Critical Role, I never really saw myself as a writer that posted on public forums, and it's not as if I haven't entertained and dabbled in other fandoms.

Overall, including collaborative writing/roleplaying, I have written for Warriors (yes, the cat books), Bleach, Naruto, Hetalia (im sorry you have to learn this about me), Glee, Dragon Age, and Digimon.

Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

Yes, yes, yes! Even as I free myself from the shackles of needing that validation and feeling discouraged if I don't reach some arbitrary number of engagement, I cannot deny that comments are inspiration and writing fuel. So, when I get a comment, I think it's the least that I can do to respond, even if it's just to say thanks.

I am definitely guilty of sitting on comments that make me particularly happy for weeks on end before actually remembering to respond tho

No, thankfully not!

Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

As mentioned previously, I only really have one serious smut fic, though I have written a couple other bits and bobs....and maybe I have a couple WIPs that may or may not see the light of day. I'm not sure what kinds of smut there are...but I guess I would describe my approach to smut as 'I am a sex-repulsed asexual and idk what's really going on here but I'm here to express closeness and intimacy and love in this strange new world' lol

Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?

If we're talking crossovers in the sense that characters from two separate fictional stories meet and interact, I have written in roleplays back in middle school like that but never explored the concept in fanfic.

If crossovers also includes taking the concept of one fictional media and inserting the characters of another into it (e.g., Hogwarts AU or HDM AU) then I've definitely written and have plans for various fanfics like that. I don't think that I have any that I would consider "crazy", but I do think my brief notes and writings for a OTGW-inspired Nygmobblepot/Riddlebird fic were v inspired.

Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not that I know of and hopefully not! Very little gets posted in the Pikelan fandom that I don't see, so I like to think I'd be hard to pull a fast one on

Have you ever had a fic translated?

Not yet, but I would love to see The Sun Always Rises translated into other languages someday!

Have you ever co-written a fic before?

I've entertained a couple co-written fics that have unfortunately never gotten off the ground much, but I'm not closed off to the idea. I see it as being quite similar to roleplaying!

What's your all-time favorite ship?

Oof. As a lifetime shipper, that's a tough question. I never truly let go of a ship, even after I've moved on from a fandom, but there are definitely some that are far more enduring in my heart than others.

Of course, if we're going off of writing alone than it's Pikelan. Writing TSAR got me through some of the hardest years of my life and, despite what's become of them and what I'm forced to endure by continuing to engage in the fandom space, they're special to me in a way that a lot of other ships can never be, no matter how much I love 'em.

Also, in the case of writing, FenHawke. selfishly, of course, Fenris with my Hawke. I love writing for them, and I consider the pieces that I've written for them to be amongst my best. They're the Dragon Age ship for me.

What's the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

.....[shamefully hangs head] A-Side and B-Side, the sequels to TSAR. I'm gonna keep writing them for as long as I am able but, if there ever comes a day that I post an update and get zero engagement, then I think I'll just have to move on. but! if even one person keeps coming along for the ride, then I'll stick to 'em. I just don't know if there's anyone who loves my writing enough to stick around for, like, another 5 years lol

The other big one is Vex's Delivery Service...which is exactly what it sounds like. A Kiki's Delivery Service inspired AU but it's about Vex. though truly, it's a thinly veiled excuse to write about domestic Pikelan is what it is. I have the whole thing planned out. I just can't ever seem to get it off the ground and, at this point, with the way I'm halfway out of the CR fandom, I don't think I ever will.

What are your writing strengths?

I have been extremely lucky to have been complimented on multiple facets of my writing over the years. However, I think what I pride in myself the most is my ability to let each scene breathe and take its time. It means that I take forever to write and nothing's ever short, but I don't think I would like writing quite as much if I wasn't allowed to let each moment have its breathing space.

What are your writing weaknesses?

It's a bit of an oddball pick maybe, but it's something that I feel like I have to own up to as a notorious modern AU writer:

People say that modern AUs are uninspired and boring, especially when you're taking characters out of a magical fictional world just to put them into our world and....the rumor's are true. I just don't get that into the lore of a fictional universe to ever feel comfortable writing in it. I do just find it easier to write everyone as humans in a modern-esque society. Now, I will stand by the fact that part of the fun of modern AUs is taking these magical characters and interpreting into a modern space (I often do the opposite with modern era characters into a fantasy world of my own design), but I just want to fully own up to the fact that...yes, I am too lazy to research the intricacies of canon in order to write a proper canon compliant/adjacent fic.

Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

I think it has it's place.

For me, if it's a language that the POV character understands/that the reader should understand alongside the POV character, then there's no reason to write it in that language. Simply include a dialogue tag to explain what language the character was speaking in. and I say this mostly from a logistical/ease of reading standpoint. Having to scroll down to the bottom of a fic or switch to a separate tab with the translations interrupts the flow of reading.

If, however, the language is included, untranslated, to reflect the POV character's own lack of knowledge of the language then that makes more sense. because you, as the reader, are meant to keep reading at the same level of understanding as the POV character and there's no pressure to be rushing for a translation just to make sure you're not missing an important line of dialogue.

but of course, as with most things, it's writer's choice!

First fandom you wrote for?

Warriors, probably...maybe Hamtaro. I definitely read fanfic for it and had my little daydream musings, but I don't think I wrote anything down.

If we're talking that's readily available on ao3, then my first was the things we know and the things we wish they knew. though, I was writing and posting Dragon Age one-shots on tumblr before that one.

I'm sorry to break it to you, but we don't care about rules in this site. And yes, a lot of people use tumblr just to nerd about their interests or participate in online discourse or whatever, but A LOT of people use it to post and find nfsw content, even during the time when staff had banned it. Tumblr is wildly known as a horny site where people post their nudes and smut fanfictions and where sex workers can easily find an audience.

I am not saying that you must like that kind of content to be on the platform, of course not. You can be sex repulsed and still enjoy your time here, but you can not tell other people what they should or should not post.

People should be appropriately tagging their posts and using tws, yes. That is a much more valid criticism. But you have no authority to tell people what to write or draw or post lmao.

About him being a minor, yeah, an adult picturing a 15 year old having sex is weird and I'm not defending it, but that is the internet. Block the users you see posting that content and continue with your day. BIG part of the nsfw content about minors is made BY minors and is meant to be consumed by other minors tho. (a lot of) Minors also feel horny and think about sex and want to read/see sexual content, and it is our responsibility as adults to stay away from that, but we can not tell teens and preteens that it is wrong and weird to feel horny about characters their age. That just doesn't make sense.

As for adults creating and consuming this content, most of us in the fandom grown up the characters and look up for other works where they are explicitly established as adults. We are not predatory. We are just horny nerds.

so. tumblr user baashu. i saw that you were in a ronami mood on Bird App. so. hear me out, maybe. robin, nami, and reiju all have a sleepover (emphasis on the Sleep part, but no one other than those 3 has to know that ;]) on the sunny!! reijus visiting, as she does

and sanji, hearing about this so-called sleepover through the grapevine, decides he's going to be a good nakama and little brother and surprise them with their favorite snacks and drinks!! sleepovers are always better with good provisions, especially for ones that go all night long

however. sanji was not expecting to open that door (yes it was unlocked for plot purposes and he didnt knock because he had like 7 different plates in his hands let me HAVE this) and see his 3 favorite girls going down on one another.

that boys cigarette fell STRAIGHT out his mouth- a tiny noise escaping him as all 3 girls heads snapped to look at him. he was ready to bolt SO fast, throwing the food he made as gently as he could onto a nearby counter and saying sorry about 40 times per second. he wasnt even halfway out the door before an array of arms sprouting from the floor dragged his ass towards the bed

you KNOW those girls are (lovingly, teasingly) bullying him the whole time, calling him sweetly degredating names. yet they refused to do more than that- not allowing him to touch/participate and yet refusing to let him leave the room

nami calling him a pervert, talking about how for every minute he's in there he gets 5% more debt added to what he already owes her (reijus head was between her thighs as she said all this, btw). robins flirtatiously scolding him about bad manners, leaning over to run her fingers across his cheek and neck as namis head layed on her naked lap. and reijus mouth was too busy to comment, but every once in a while she let out a giggle of agreement when one of her other two partners said something that really made blood drip out of sanjis nose

and once pretty boy was all hot and heavy, the only reason he was locked in place being the disconnected arms restricting his movements? they all take their sweet, sweet time in pleasing him.

When I said STRUGGLING IN VAIN is like if i made your turn to die i wasn't exactly kidding.! sami is basically Okay. What do I remember of our dear be-beanied friend Sou Hiyori. job hopper, manipulated and manipulative, fake-friendly, plays dirty because he Can't Lose. he doesn't want to. he doesn't want to die. Okay. So what if I do that. sami started as someone with desperation at his core, and slowly evolved outwards. someone who thrives under the control of someone else, and will only survive because there's an instinct buried within him to keep moving forward. he is Also someone defined, at every turn, by Grief. his mother passed when he was 17, he attempted to follow her at 18, then he was tossed into a death game at age 24 with his baby sister, who was 12. her name was Karin Takeda-Ottonen. She died in that game, due to an accident misattributed to one of the other survivors of the game; Satoshi Okimoto, who i will talk ab some other time. his father, Otto Eelinen-Takeda, and his brother, Kai Takeda-Ottoson, were both killed as a way to 'motivate' sami to keep playing. all those who participated experienced this same motivation, but it was particular for sami, who just. kept. Losing. but he always managed to Survive. so the grief and being stuck with Chika Tomita (black haired girl from my previous art post) just drove him over the edge. he was tired of always being the only one to survive out of the people he cared most about, so. He took his life, on the rooftop, with Chika. And what happened next . . . ?

He went to Hell, met the man of his dreams, realised hhe was bisexual, lopped someone's hand off and took someone else's eye out, was initially crazy because someone in Hell reminded him eerily of Chika but chilled out because of said man of his dreams (hello Taraki Ventura Alvaro, btw. courtesy of my friend Nadia, who I don't know if she has Tumblr! I will edit this when she wakes up if shedoes) (also the girl in Hell tht reminded sami of chika is an oc belonging to oneof mmy wives @drdiagnosis named Calypso ♥) but then thru a freak accident mafia game that used majority vote which sent sami spiralling back into the initial death game mindset, Taraki Died! and then sami freaked out bbadly! and got closer to calypso only for HER to die too! SO WOULDN'T YOU KNOW IT, HE SURVIVED WHILE EVERYONE HE CARED ABOUT DIED AG AIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! tho through the power of a wish he was able to bring taraki bback and by (accidentally) robbing calypso (she was behind a lot of this, it turned out, and had not permanently died) her Memory was preserved, but tthe damage is already so seve.re. and also in a separate branch of STRUGGLING IN VAIN called... ahem. THE LAST 35 SECONDS BEFORE MY EYES CLOSE ARE SPENT BY CONCLUSIVELY THINKING ABOUT THE MEANING OF MY BIRTH ( STRUGGLING IN VAIN BRANCH 4; ??? END ), xe just straight up ends the world. because thhat's freedom. and xe doesn't expect to be allowed to bring back taraki Or calypso or Anyone sso the wish is just used to bring about absolution it's kind of crazy THIS IS WHAT THE MULTIVERSE DOES TO A MOTHERFUCKER.
