I like the idea of an alpha's instincts going completely haywire because of their omega (definitely used this idea in stories before, I don't write much fanfic, but I do write a lot of original work). So just Azula going batshit insane until Mai comes back to her, it works like magic. Suddenly she's her normal calm, rational self and focused on being that alpha that Mai fell in love with.

A lot of people kinda hate cheating, I think it's almost funny because I love to find a way to make it happen. Like, the novel I'm writing is currently titles "a cheating omegaverse porn romance novel".

In this one Zuko tonight he could get with Mai because between nobles, she's kinda the only that didn't treat him terribly for being a beta. At least in the beginning. Later on he noticed how close Maizula were and then he got obsessed with having Mai as a mate. (I change Zuko a little, but I keep the canon that Azula is a better sibling. Especially because like dragon!Azula claims people, alpha!Azula claims platonic mates and Zuko was one of them until he betrayed her.)

Mai's way too strong to be afraid. And even when Azula threatens to burn her (because in this AU, The Boiling Rock happens almost the same way), Mai doesn't feel scared. Azula has accidently burned her before, and Mai knows it'll hurt but she'll be fine.

Azula's very clingy and very protective. She's very soft when she's allowed to be soft.

I rather like the idea that Azula finds it impossible to harm her lover, as if her fire didn't burn and hurt her Omega, it would be so impossible even if she wanted to!

Azula's very clingy and very protective. She's very soft when she's allowed to be soft.

I love the idea of Mai saying "Tick" to Azula because that's her alpha! She is always above her.

Azula is soft when they are in their nest without any interruption, while she is in an awkward position because she doesn't want to hurt her Omega's belly, because she doesn't want to hurt her baby or her Omega.

honestly I encourage everyone to get comfortable opening up their electronics. game consoles. computers. phones. keyboards. headphones. whatever. like obviously don't start with the most difficult thing to open up and don't just mindlessly pop open something and lose all the screws and don't do it while its on. but get comfortable looking inside your stuff yourself

its not hard to open up most electronics that don't have an apple logo on them (and even a lot of those are easier than you'd think) and it DOES NOT VOID YOUR WARRANTY.

Companies will try to scare you from learning how to care for your own stuff because they get money that way. Warranty stickers are technically illegal in the US but just isn't enforced, and a company can't actually void your warranty if you repair something yourself, so long as you don't break something else in the process.

like I look at threads all the time where people express fear about just opening up a console and looking at the internals to see which version they have but don't be! its easy, its safe, its free! get comfortable with your electronics and learn how to clean and repair stuff yourself, it isn't scary, companies just want you to think it is!

What are ur favorite things u can do w a hacked 3ds that ARENT free games? (So things Like custom themes, net pass, etc) I hacked mine a while ago then. Proceeded to just play the games I already had. I want to do more w it but idk what to do!

making themes + netpass are always fun but the things I like to spend my time on the 3DS on are mostly playing puzzle games while I watch youtube videos instead of playing puzzle games on my computer. Having physical buttons and the touch screen means that playing any sort of puzzle game just feels that much more fun on a 3DS. I also like to spend time mindlessly playing miiplaza with hacked playcoins. I use give me 300 playcoins and i'll just spend time grinding out the games.

i got ibu for free, fully convinced she won't work -- she had permanent marker all over her eyes, faceplate, and one foot (there's still some signs of it which i couldn't wash off) as well as a huge hole in the back of his fur

opening her battery compartment was a STRUGGLE..... someone screwed those screws in like life depended on it.

when i finally opened him, there were batteries already inside, but no corrosion. "she doesn't work," i thought. but i was wrong!! those batteries were just dead!!! when i put fresh ones in, he worked FLAWLESSLY!!!

i fixed her cosmetics up best i could, and she is now a proud member of my furby family

Do you have any Coronabeth Worsetwin thoughts about Abigail's reaction to finding out Ianthe become a Lyctor in HtN ("Blast. It should have been Coronabeth. Ianthe never was quite the thing")? I love Abigail but ngl I am also a Corona Worsetwin truther in part because I would find it much more satisfying for one of the series' designated Rational Moral Adults to be categorically wrong about Corona.

OH I love this! I hadn't really thought out it until now, but my first reaction is that it might have been just the general "Ugh, yuck, Ianthe?" vibe that she seems to evoke, since she's very much unpleasant on main. But when thinking about it more in-depth, I think Abigail's perception of WHY Corona would be more suited to Lyctorhood depends on which qualities Abigail thinks a Lyctor should possess that Ianthe lacks.

One thing about Abigail in HtN is that she is as much of an atheist as you can get in TLT, but also she seems to have a sort of romanticised view of John (calling him "the Kindly Emperor", "I've longed my whole life to give him my findings") and I wonder if this extends to her conception of Lyctorhood as a sort of state of idyllic quest for knowledge — "the beauty of necromantic mysteries" as Harrow puts it. She's also the leader of a House known for its diplomacy, influence, and not-so-subtle expansionistic ambitions.

So, is she thinking about Corona's diplomatic skills? Her political knowledge? Or — because at this point she still believes Coronabeth is also a necromancer — is she thinking that Corona was the better necromancer than Ianthe, as it was widely speculated?

Going wildly off into headcanon land, we know Abigail has anti-Cohort sympathies (as per Judith's files) and I wonder if that plays a part. We know that Corona regards the Houses's expansionistic strategy as inefficient, but I don't think it's something Abigail would know. Maybe she just thinks Corona would be able to assert authority over the Cohort better? (One of my pet speculations is that there's some antagonism between the Cohort and the Lyctors, and if that's actually a thing Abigail could be aware of it.)

I think it's a combination of Corona's people skill, her personal experience with both twins, and the fact that Ianthe actively puts off everyone she meets.

(If anyone has any opinions about Abigail here PLS feel free to add, I too love her but she's one of the hardest characters to figure out for me)

Personally, a solid 40% of why I am a Corona Worsetwin truther is because I think it's hot. The rest is her everything in NtN / AYU from the threatening suicide to statecraft scheming, with a smattering of that one Taz interview <3 I'm excited to see her wreck havoc in AtN.

Dream and George sat on the couch, sipping their evening tea as a soft purring filled the room. Patches was curled up contentedly on George’s lap, her eyes half-closed in bliss.

��I was thinking,” Dream began, breaking the comfortable silence, “maybe we could get Patches a little sibling.”

George’s hand paused mid-stroke on Patches' fur. He glanced at Dream, his expression unreadable. “A kitten?” he repeated, his voice unusually hesitant.

Dream nodded enthusiastically. “Yeah! I saw this little gray fluffball at the shelter today. She’s adorable. I think Patches would love having a companion. Now that Milo and Noami moved out.”

George didn’t respond immediately. Instead, he looked down at Patches, who was now gazing up at him with her usual serene expression.

“I don’t know,” George finally said, his voice soft. “Patches might not... like that.”

Dream frowned slightly, surprised by George’s reluctance. George was a cat lover through and through. He’d never passed a cat without stopping to shower it with affection, and Dream knew how much George adored Patches. He’d always assumed George would be thrilled at the idea of adding another cat to their family.

“But you love cats,” Dream pointed out, trying to understand. “You’ve always wanted more, haven’t you?”

George sighed, his fingers still gently stroking Patches’ fur. “I do, but... Patches is used to being the center of our attention. Even when Milo and Noami were young and took over half the house. What if she feels left out with a new kitten? What if she thinks we’re replacing her?”

Dream’s heart softened as he realized what was holding George back. It wasn’t that he didn’t want the kitten — it was that he was worried about Patches’ feelings. George was so tender-hearted, so protective, that the idea of upsetting her was enough to make him hesitate.

Dream reached out and placed a comforting hand on George’s knee. “Hey,” he said gently, “Patches knows how much we love her. I mean just look at her right now. And getting a kitten doesn’t mean we’ll love her any less. We’ll just have more love to give.”

George looked at Dream, his eyes reflecting the concern he felt. “But what if she doesn’t understand that? What if she feels... neglected?”

Dream smiled reassuringly. “We’ll make sure she doesn’t. We’ll introduce them slowly, give Patches all the attention she needs. And if it doesn’t work out, we’ll figure it out together. But I think Patches has a big enough heart to share with a little kitten.”

George’s gaze softened as he looked down at Patches again. She was purring steadily, content in the knowledge that she was loved.

“You think so?” George asked, a hint of a smile playing on his lips.

“I know so,” Dream replied confidently. “And besides, we’d get to see Patches teaching a little one all her tricks. Imagine how cute that would be.”

George chuckled at the thought, the tension easing from his shoulders. “Yeah, I guess you’re right. Patches would make a great big sister.”

Dream squeezed George’s knee affectionately. “Exactly. And we’ll make sure she knows she’s still our number one. Still the queen of the house. And besides, I doesn't have to be right now. We got all the time in the world.”

George finally smiled fully, a mixture of relief and excitement in his eyes. “Alright,” he said, his voice firmer now. “Let’s do it. Let’s adopt that kitten. Not right now though. We'll wait a little longer.”

Dream grinned, leaning in to kiss George on the cheek. “We’re going to be a family of four,” he said, his excitement infectious.

As they sat there, Patches still purring in George’s lap, the two men began to plan for their new addition. And while George’s worries hadn’t completely vanished, he felt reassured knowing they would face it together, as a family.
