The Jones Boys reached a new psylink level and unlocked the 'morbid' meditation type. Now they chill out in the cemetery together, which is clearly not helping them concentrate.

I always get distracted chatting about dumb shit to my brothers if we're sitting still for too long, as well, so I can't really judge them.

We are not adopting any more babies!! Ivy is the only exception because of highly unusual circumstances.

We also got a second twisted obelisk right next to the walls of our base, so we deactivated the old one which was on the opposite side of the map and we'll stick with just studying this bad boy.

Ivy is a toddler!!! Happy birthday!! Despite what the boys say, they do really like having you around. We can't wait to watch you grow ❤️

Saving VooDoo Emergency Commissions/Fundraiser!

My sweet, wonderful kitty, VooDoo, has been diagnosed with FISS (Feline Injection Site Sarcoma), which the doctor referred to as, "The most evil cancer a cat can get". As of right now, she has been given only a few months to live, as the tumor has grown at a rapid rate and surgery is not an option due to its location and size.

However, the doctor truly believes that with radiation treatment, she will be able to live for a few more YEARS, and with treatment, she will have a better quality of life in that time, rather than rapidly declining and withering away before summer.

That being said, radiation treatment is expensive. Like, $2,800 expensive, after I max out my credit cards, which I am already willing to do. There's no way I will be able to pay the rest of that myself. That's why I'm putting this out on every social media site I have: I will do commissions until my hands bleed if it means giving her this fighting chance. Arthritis and everything else be damned, I will write or draw anything. So long as it's not illegal, I will approve ALL commission requests.

I made a couple other octokittens after myself lol, here's ink and smiles (the crew nicknamed them)

Ink drips a black inklike substance all the time from their ears and eck (their eyes are just black and the black on the face are just face markings) and their sad all the time. They like dsrkness. Smiles always has this creepy large smile and tends to just stare at people. They dont seem to make noise/talk evee and usually you just turn around and theyre there. Their kinda unsettling especially after feeding, that smile is threatening enough not covered in blood.

I love your kitties so much! 😻

Well, each planet in the Yggdrasil system had a different species native to it. Midgard, which is where I was born, has beings with five eyes white fur/hair, blue skin, slightly pointed teeth, and a tail. I actually have some Vanir blood in me, from my mother's side, which is why I have hooves, no tail, and four arms. After contact with the Bifrost, my blood turned golden, but it was previously a purple-tinted green. I mainly eat meat, but occasionally I eat a bit of fruit. I can go into my appearance in more depth later, when I'm not so tired. If you want, I can tag you in a post.

Designing mech pilots despite the fact the idea of drawing an entire mech makes me want to melt into the floor.

I assume 10M tall mechs means warfare has run back around to "what the fuck is camo." (Invisibility cloaking does not exist in this setting because I find that boring).

That and mech pilots are most likely getting blown up, getting squished like a lizard under a t-rex if they eject into a bad location, or getting the hell out of Dodge.

Also the USA using digicamo even on units who are in situations that it doesn't even make sense is Bad Character Design, so fuck that.

And because pilots are floating in the soup (there's an official name for the chemical concoction, but colloquially, it's just soup), I figured wetsuit designs make the most sense.

Watsonian reason for the soup: Resists issues with g-force when fighting at high speeds and the acceleration/deceleration thereof.

Doylist reason for the soup: I don't wanna draw a chair and seatbelts.
