Back on my rewatch and I don’t wanna swing a bat at a hornets nest but I wanna point out that being a single parent and having a partner who is stationed overseas are different experiences

I do think Eddie was a bad husband (and so does he) but it’s not the same as straight dipping from your kids life and not providing any contact or financial support
