🌟Random JJK Men Headcanons!🌟
Creds to @cafekitsune for all dividers!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
NSFW CONTENT UP AHEAD!!
Includes: Kento Nanami, Toji Fushiguro, Shiu Kong (Maybe more characters in the future! Recommend some n’ they might be up here next!…just no minors pls unless it’s for fluff 😭😭)
Not rlly proofread so I’m sorry for any mistakes!!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Kento Nanami
• Would definitely be a whiner, especially when it’s time to get up in the morning, “Mmm..darlinggg…”, his grip on your waist becoming tighter. “Just five more minutes.. pretty please…?”, how could you possibly deny your sweet husband?
• Kento will always help you with your hair if needed and is always good at it (You don’t know this, but every night while your sleeping, he watches YouTube videos on how to style curly hair in cute styles he knows you’d like).
• Rarely ever cries to you since he doesn’t want you stressing out over him. When he did cry, however, you’d be sure to have him lay on your lap and softly coo at him until he falls asleep.
• Will be the cook of the house. Sure, he’d let you cook a few meals from time to time, but he would prefer cooking for you instead of vice versa. (His food ALWAYS ended up delicious)
“Kento let me cook for tonight please! You cook all the timeee!” You whine as you’re being dragged back to the living room by your husband.
“Please, my love, sit down. I want you to relax this evening.” Kento kisses you on your forehead as he sits you down on the couch. “Dinner will be ready in a few, okay?”
“Tomorrow night Kento, I will be cooking.” You say with a pout on your face, and Kento can’t help but let out a chuckle.
“Whatever you say, sweetheart.”
• When one of your favorite songs of all time play on the car radio, you’d scream the lyrics, eventually luring Kento in to sing with you. He probably wouldn’t know half of the songs you listen to, but he’ll still sing with you if it makes you happy.
• Never calls you by your name unless something serious is going on. Will always call you baby, sweetheart, darling, love, or honey. (Ex. “Love, if you don’t mind, could you get me a sandwich from that bakery I always go to?” “Honey, you’re always so good to me, I love you so much.”)
• Speaking of which, he loves it when you call him sweetie, Ken, or even if you refer to him as “your man”. He gets hard just thinking about it.
• He’s definitely a little pervert. Whenever you’re out the house for a lengthened period of time, he’d use the opportunity to steal multiple pairs a pair of your used underwear and jack off to it in your shared bedroom, making sure to leave his cum right in the center of your panties. Little did he know, however, the cameras in your house caught every second of it.
• Kento would absolutely love to be dominated by you. Just the thought of you riding him and fucking him with your strap until there’s tears rolling down his face just does something to him.
• He’ll beg and whimper to you at any point during sex, the way he looks so pathetic as soon as you have him in your grasp is something indescribable and makes you want more. “Mmh—babyyyy—haah—oh goddd—I’m gonna cumm-”
“L-Love please—please let me—”
“Ooohhhh—can’t hold it b-back, d-darling-“
• We all know this man is an absolute king when it comes to aftercare. Giving you a minute to rest, he goes to your kitchen and brews up some chamomile tea. Afterwards, he runs a warm bath with some rose petals which he knows you like.
Tumblr media
Toji Fushiguro
• Isn’t very good at communication due to being raised in nothing but an abusive household. Knowing this, you help him every step of the way, and he can’t help but look at you with hearts in his eyes.
•He’ll hit you with a dad joke at the most random and unexpected times. You could both be showering together and he’d be talking about some, “What do you call two ducks and a cow? Quackers and milk.” They’ll always make you laugh, though.
• Expect Toji to tease you 24/7. For example, if you’re wearing a bonnet, best believe he’s snatching it off as soon as you walk past him, laughing and holding it over his head as you’re trying to take it back.
-SWOOP- All you feel now is a breeze on the top of your head instead of your trusty bonnet. “Toji I swear to God if you don’t stop snatching my bonnet there’s gonna be problems.” You turn to face the man who now has your leopard print bonnet in his big hand.
“Oh please girl,” you hated the way he mirrored your sass. (You didn’t) “Y’r not gonna do a thing to me.” He chuckled, now putting your bonnet on his head.
“Tojiiiii you’re gonna stretch it outtt!” You groaned and hit his chest, yet Toji doesn’t pay you any mind.
“Babyyyyy,” He mimics you, “I’ll give it back under one condition.”
You sigh, knowing the exact condition.
“Jus’ gimmie a kiss, and the bonnet is all yours.”
• His usual go-to of pet names would include: Doll, babe, baby, ma, brat, and princess (Ex. “Babe, you wanna come to this new restaurant with me? Heard they had some good steak.” “Quit bein’ such a little brat.” “Y’look so damn pretty, doll.”).
• Toji brags to his best friend Shiu all about you, much to his annoyance. He boasts about how pretty you are, how smart you are, how big your ass is, and how lucky he is to have you.
• He absolutely loves the way you treat his five year old son, Megumi. You treat the boy as if he’s your own, and Toji can’t help but smile until his cheeks are sore, and even then he wouldn’t stop smiling.
• This man cannot cook for shit. The only cooking he’s doing would be making toast with butter or ordering takeout.
• He’d definitely eat you out of a house and home and take a fat nap afterwards, though. His portions of food would be enough to feed three people. Living with him, you’d have to go food shopping every two days.
• Though he’d never admit it, Toji loves hugs and how you smother him will all kinds of affection. He’d act all annoyed and tough and claim he doesn’t like it, but deep down you both know he eats it up every single time.
•Expect to see dirty gym socks and other clothing attire scattered across your shared bedroom. You’ll tell him to stop acting like a pig and clean up after himself, but it’ll go in one ear and straight out the other.
• Toji has such a praise kink. Whenever the words “good boy” or any other compliment leaves your pretty lips, it’s like he can’t think for himself anymore.
• He loves, loves, loves, having sex in missionary position with you. He loves being so close to you, being able to smell your special scent, and whisper in your ears, “Look how—fuck—look how messy this pretty pussy is for me, ma.”
“Y’r taking my cock so fucking well, baby.”
“Love ya so fucking much, y’know that? Hah—shit—Yeah, y’know that.” while he’s absolutely demolishing your insides. Don’t get him wrong, the man loves tons of sex positions, but missionary will always be his first pick.
• He may not look the part, but Toji whimpers and moans like crazy when he’s about to cum. “Hnghh—ooohhhh—fuckfuckfuckfuckfuck—“
• When he cums, expect a bunch of it. It’s so much that it leaks out of your throbbing cunt and onto the light pink bed sheets, leaving a puddle.
• His kind of aftercare would be licking your clit, ridding it of any leftover cum. Afterwards, he’d give you a water bottle and massage any aching body parts. He’d then order some of your favorite take out and you’d both eat it together while watching some corny dad show he found on tv.
Tumblr media
Shiu Kong
• You have this man wrapped around your pretty finger. He’ll spoil you rotten. He couldn’t possibly think of saying no to his princess, especially when he has the money to get you whatever you want.
• You will never find yourself in a position where you need to lift a finger whenever he’s around. You’ll get nothing but royalty treatment.
• Shiu absolutely hates it whenever you’re around Toji. He knows Toji wouldn’t do anything, but seeing you even look at him gets on his nerves.
• You wake up to the smell of some freshly cooked bacon and eggs (or whatever else you’d favor) due to him. His day will literally be ruined if he isn’t able to cook for you.
• Whenever you want your hair and nails done, Shiu will give you the money, plus a little extra so you can get yourself something nice.
• Your car will definitely end up smelling like his cigarettes mixed with his signature cologne after a while.
• You practically beg him to teach you a few words in Korean (mostly curse words) since you claims he sounds so sexy speaking it.
“Come onnnnnn,” you whine, following Shiu around the house as he carries the clean laundry in a basket. “Just one word, please?”
“I’ve already said a word, princess, don’t you remember that?” He stops in his tracks and turns to face you.
“Okay—well—one more!” you pout and cross your arms.
“Don’t do that,” Shiu chuckles, then sighs contently. “How could I ever say no to you, beautiful?” Your eyes light up and a big smile is displayed on your face.
“사랑해요, 예쁜.” He whispers in your ear and leaves a kiss on your cheek.
“What’s that mean??”
“It means I love you, pretty.” He cups your face with two hands. You can’t help but giggle and leave a kiss on his lips.
• Like Kento, Shiu wouldn’t call you by your name at all. He hasn’t called you by your name ever since you two first met. Sometimes you wonder if he even knows your name (he does). The names he calls you are: Doll face, love, princess, pretty, beautiful, bunny (Ex. “Did y’want this necklace, princess?” “Let’s go out to eat, doll face.” “You can take it, bunny, can’t you? Yes you can.”).
• Every morning, his head is found in between your legs, licking and sucking at your clit. Every time you try to push his head away due to overstimulation, he says “Come on, pretty, m’just eating some breakfast, gimmie a minute.”
• This man is extremely weak for head. His breathy moans only get louder as he’s getting closer and closer to his climax. “Ohh f-fuck—my love—s-s’close—”
“Y’r sucking s’good pretty—mmh—so fucking good-”
• He’ll immediately return the favor by stuffing your sobbing pussy with his fat cock, thrusting in an unforgiving pace. “H-Hah—you h-hear that? Y’hear how she’s—shit—purring for me l-love?”
“I know you can take it bunny, I know you can—ooohhh ffffuckkkk-”
• After he’s done with you, he kisses your forehead and wipes you down with a warm damp towel. He then massages your plump thighs and kisses your face a bit more. When you’re finally asleep, he goes out to your balcony for a quick smoke.

more of paige bueckers family series pleaaaase i beg u 🥺😭
FIRST MONTHS
PAIGE BUECKERS X FAMILY
warnings:none. sorry for the wait, this is my most requested series so more to come.
the first few months with your daughter weren’t what you’d call smooth. you and paige knew having a baby would turn your world upside down, but knowing it and living it were two entirely different things. your once semi-organized life had turned into a constant balancing act of feedings, diaper changes, and figuring out how to make it through the day on three hours of sleep.
but somehow, amidst the chaos, you found a rhythm. it wasn’t perfect, and it wasn’t always pretty, but it was yours.
at first, neither of you knew what you were doing. the first night home from the hospital, you and paige had stared at each other in panic when the baby started crying at two in the morning.
“what does she want?” paige whispered, holding the baby awkwardly in her arms like she might break.
“i don’t know. food? a diaper change? emotional support?” you whispered back, equally clueless.
“great. so, all of the above,” paige muttered, already heading toward the changing table.
over the next few weeks, the two of you learned quickly—or at least, you learned to fake it. paige became the diaper-changing expert, able to handle even the most catastrophic blowouts with an efficiency that made you jealous. you, on the other hand, mastered the art of the middle-of-the-night feeding, figuring out how to balance a bottle in one hand and keep yourself awake with the other.
“we’re basically superheroes now,” paige said one morning after you both managed to get the baby down for a nap.
“superheroes who need coffee,” you replied, already heading toward the kitchen.
you quickly realized that sleep wasn’t something you could count on anymore. at best, you’d catch a few hours here and there, usually in shifts. there were nights when you’d both be awake at the same time, passing the baby back and forth as she cried like she’d been personally offended by the universe.
“this is payback,” paige said one night, her voice barely audible over the baby’s wails.
“for what?” you asked, half-asleep as you tried to rock her back and forth.
“for all the times we said, ‘how hard could it be?’”
you both laughed, though it quickly turned into groaning when the baby’s cries only got louder.
despite the exhaustion, there were moments that made it all worth it. like the first time she smiled which made you and paige almost cry.
“she likes me!” paige had said triumphantly, holding her up like a trophy.
“don’t get cocky,” you teased, though you couldn’t stop grinning either.
then there were the quiet mornings, when the baby would fall asleep on paige’s chest while you sat beside them on the couch. paige would be half-watching something on tv, one hand resting protectively on your daughter’s back, her face soft in a way that made your chest tighten.
“she’s obsessed with you,” you said one morning, watching the way your daughter’s tiny hand clung to paige’s hoodie.
“she has good taste,” paige replied with a smirk, though her eyes stayed focused on the baby.
and, of course, there were milestones that felt bigger than they probably were: the first time she rolled over, the first bath she didn’t scream through, the first time she actually slept for four whole hours straight.
“is this what winning the lottery feels like?” paige asked that morning, blinking at the clock as if it might be lying.
“better,” you said, though you’d never been so happy to sleep through an alarm.
the days were long, and the nights were longer, but you got through them together. paige took over baby carrier duty, insisting on wearing her whenever you went on walks, even if the baby drooled all over her hoodie. you were in charge of documenting everything, snapping pictures of every milestone and filling your phone with blurry shots of paige making faces at the baby to get her to laugh.
“don’t post that one,” paige said one day, glancing at your screen as you scrolled through photos.
“too late,” you replied, already uploading it.
“you’re lucky i love you,” she muttered, shaking her head but unable to hide her smile.
by the time the three-month mark rolled around, you’d started to feel like you had a handle on things—or as much of a handle as two sleep-deprived people could have. your daughter was growing more every day, her personality starting to peek through in the way she laughed when paige tickled her or the way she stared at you like you were the most fascinating thing she’d ever seen.
“we’re doing okay, right?” paige asked one night as you both lay on the couch, the baby finally asleep in her bassinet.
“we’re doing better than okay,” you said, resting your head on her shoulder.
she kissed the top of your head, her arm wrapping around you as she relaxed for the first time all day. “yeah. we’ve got this.”
and even if you didn’t, you were figuring it out together, one day at a time.

💡 my first dr was a breakfast club dr and my main dr is currently a librarian dr. i made the switch because i forgot about shifting for a while to be honest and then when i got back into it i decided to make a whole new dr. i still love the breakfast club, i just wanted to start over again i guess? and make a new dr where i’m a librarian since i would be loving life if i was one.
🏷️ in my dr, my name is evelyn because i’ve always thought it was a pretty name
👜 my house is kinda cottagecore (?) i guess, that would be the best way i know how to describe it. i like houses with that kind of aesthetic so i went with that for a house. i have posters in my room and little things from antique stores as decorations. i haven’t decided yet if i have any roommates or anybody living with me, i’m on the fence on whether i want any or not. i would like the social aspect of it but at the same time i also like to have my own space so i’m not completely sure yet. my favorite aspect of my house would be the decorations because it would be decorated the way i would love to have my own space decorated and not have to worry about having to ask someone if it’s okay to have things where i want them.
🎞️ i don’t think there would be edits or a fandom for me since in my librarian dr. maybe in my singer one? but i haven’t thought much about it lol
🩰 my ootd for my librarian dr would be something dark academia aesthetic, like a sweater and either a skirt or pants because dark academia is my favorite aesthetic
🏛️ in my free time, i see, draw, read, color, knit, crochet, do quilting, bake, cook, play with my cat and dog. i spend time with friends, especially my best friends, and s/o. we go to the movies, zoo, aquarium, antique stores, basically anywhere
🗝️ i guess my most niche dr would be either my author dr or librarian dr, those are the only ones i can think of that could possibly be considered niche. i made my author dr because not only do i like reading but i would also enjoy writing books of my own. i made my librarian dr because again, i like reading and would love a job involving books.
📜 i wake up every day excited to go to work because i love being a librarian and come home at the end of the day to relax with my pets :)
🧳 normally when i do script i just write out bullet points in my notes app
author dr
* 22
* writing a series and some standalone books that take place in the same universe as the series, like how there’s heartstopper and then other books like nick and charlie and this winter
* have a black cat and golden retriever
* cottagecore house
* clothes are dark academia aesthetic
* have curtain bangs
* have similar hair to sabrina carpenter
* writes romantacy things
* some books involve dragons
* take walks during the sunset
* writes at a coffee shop / cat cafe
* spotify works good instead of dragging out spotify wrapped
* knit, crochet, sew, and play instruments and just dance during free time
* goofy socks and earrings
* love baking and just making food in general
♟️ my best friends in this reality are in my friend group in my dr and we met through having class together
🕰️ my favorite person in my family would probably be my sister. we have a close relationship and tell each other everything. she showed me how to do make up and explained things like that. my relationship with my mom is similar in that i also tell her everything. me and my dad usually make jokes together
🎻 a scenario that i have scripted and am excited for is getting to make all of the recipes that i’ve seen and have been wanting to make. i’ve seen different ones for different kinds of pasta, some for bread, and some with chicken that i’ve been excited to make in my dr. i’m also excited to make different kinds of desserts that sound good too
💼 i haven’t thought much about who i don’t get along with in my dr because i’ve mainly been focusing on who i do get along with and what i want to do in my dr lol. i guess i’ll figure out when i shift lol
🍨 my username would either be just my first name or something funny and i would mainly just post things i think are pretty :)

christmas with rafe

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
。゚•┈୨♡୧┈• 。゚。゚•┈୨♡୧┈• 。゚。゚•┈୨♡୧┈• 。゚•┈୨♡୧┈•
I feel like he never really had a close family so when it came to Christmas he never celebrate it like would do almost all family, eating all together to a decorated table laughing while telling story about the past and then unwrapping all the presents; maybe this had happened when he was a child but since ward started dating several women, none of this has happened anymore.
that’s why rafe doesn’t care that much about Christmas, but you on the other hand, you loved it. when it came to november for you it was already time to decorate all the house, and of course you would made rafe help you do it.
Christmas with rafe would turn into something magical, even if he didn’t fully understand it at first. spending time with your family would soften him in ways he didn’t think were possible. he’d catch himself smiling at your dad’s jokes or teasing your younger siblings, slipping into the rhythm of the holiday chaos like he’d always been there. he wasn’t used to this, kindness without expectations, but you could see how much he craved it. he’d lean into it, letting himself enjoy the simplicity of it all: the food, the stories, the sense of belonging.
later, when it was just the two of you, he’d sit with you by the tree, his arm slung lazily over your shoulders. the lights would reflect in his eyes as he looked at you, a rare, genuine smile tugging at his lips.
on Christmas morning, he’d be up earlier than you, surprisingly eager to watch you open the gift he picked out for you. it wouldn’t be something random, it would be thoughtful, something that showed just how well he’d been paying attention to everything you love. the way he’d look at you as you unwrapped it would be worth more than any present, his expression full of quiet pride and hope that you loved it.
“rafe…” you would say at loss of words, your heart full of happiness. “i knew you’ve been wanting this for a long time, and that’s the bare minimum to thank for you for—” you would quickly shut him, wrapping your arms around his neck, holding tightly into him. “i freaking love it so much babe… and you don’t have to thank me for anything ” you would say, his hands finding their place on your waist, a little smile threatening to appear on his face as you placed a soft kiss on his lips.
and when it was his turn to open his gift, he’d act cool about it at first, but you’d catch the way his lips twitched up in a smile when he saw what you got him. “how’d you know?” he’d ask, even though the answer was obvious: you knew him better than anyone.
as the day went on, rafe would fall deeper into the feeling of belonging, a quiet sort of joy settling in his chest. he’d sit with your family at the dinner table, watching everyone pass dishes around, laughing over shared stories. when dessert was served, maybe your grandmother would pull out old photo albums, flipping through your childhood. at first, rafe might feel like an outsider, but you’d tug him closer, pointing out silly moments from your past and making him laugh. your family would share their own memories—some happy, some bittersweet—and he’d listen quietly, taking it all in. for the first time, he’d start to understand what it meant to have a real family, not just people who shared a name or a house, but a bond.
by the end of the day, he’d realize that for the first time in a long time, Christmas wasn’t just another day for him. it was something he wanted to hold on to—something you helped him rediscover. from that Christmas on, rafe wouldn’t just tolerate the holiday, he’d look forward to it. he’d help you decorate without complaint (mostly), bake cookies with you even though he always burned them, and spend every Christmas morning watching your face light up as you opened gifts. because for him, Christmas wasn’t just about the day anymore. It was about the love, the laughter, and the family he found with you.

Saw your post about asks, and I feel in the same boat, so I thought if it's okay, I'd send you an ask. I've just flattered through your page, and I love your style.
1) Finding the perfect gift for any of the 141 members for Christmas.
2) Secretly placing mistletoe somewhere on base for Ghost to find.
Your writes are amazing, glad I found you! X
[[Thank you, babes!!!! Ah! Hi!
this is so relevant for me rn because I’m currently struggling to find my boyfriend the perfect Christmas gift lol]]
ghost - your first thought is to get him more masks, but everyone always gets him more masks. no, it should be something special. something personal. you don’t realize that for him, you’ve already given him the best gift: a Christmas that he doesn’t have to spend alone. a Christmas that he gets to spend with someone who really loves him. a Christmas that quiet and peaceful, with no yelling voices or thrown objects. a Christmas that’s warm and loving, with sneaky mistletoe kisses in the randomest of places and cozy socks. you’ve already given him exactly what he wanted and needed, anything else you get him is just a bonus.
price - seeing you enjoy the gifts he got you just to spoil you is enough for him. he doesn’t want anything else- no really, love. just wanna see you happy. but a nice case for his favorite vintage gun in his collection wouldn’t be too bad, or his favorite very nice cologne that always makes you want to bury your nose in his shirts and burn the scent on the inside your nostrils, or an expensive watch since that’s always his go-to accessory when dressing up
gaz - whatever he gets you is always so nice, always exactly what you needed, that it puts so much pressure on what to get him. he has to absolutely love it, just like you love whatever he gets you. box tickets to his favorite sporting event is up there for one of the best gifts he could be given, but I personally am a “gaz loves self care” truther. I think his guilty pleasure is skin care, a face mask every now and again (and a facial on you every now and again), and he likes very nice, soft lounge clothes to relax in when he’s at home. any of that kind of stuff would be great, but if you got him a couple’s spa day/massage gift certificate he would be over the moon.
soap - loves a joke gift. you could get him the sweetest, most personalized thing that you put so much time and energy and love into, and he would love it!! but he also would quickly forget about it and become obsessed with the pet treat launcher that you got as a joke gift. watching your very food-motivated dog/cat skid across the floor of your shared flat as they chase treats launched at high speed from the device in his hands is, frankly, hilarious. he will be doing that all day. best gift ever.
and I’ll just say it: any and every one of these guys would not complain about opening a box of lingerie from you on Christmas morning. especially if they get to see you model it for them, like, right now.
[[and thank you so much again for this request!!!]]

Great minds think alike!!
(p. 2) ★ <- pt. 1 here
--
Pairing: Daisuke x GN! Reader (can be platonic if u want)
Warnings: i feel like this is too short,,,, i'll probably add more some other day.
W/C: 100+
--
Earth! Daisuke headcanons; (it means headcanons don't apply when reader and Daisuke are on the Tulpar!)
Daisuke is the type to bring you little gifts every time he sees you. A shiny pebble he found, a flower he picked on his walk, or even your favorite snack he saw at the store.
“I saw this and thought of you!” he says with the biggest grin, and you can’t help but melt and get all excited at the gesture.
Daisuke’s positivity is infectious. If you’re feeling down, he’ll go out of his way to cheer you up, even if it means embarrassing himself.
He’ll dance around the room, tell silly jokes, or even sing (badly) just to see you smile.
“Your happiness is my mission!” he declares with mock seriousness, then bursts into laughter.
He loves baking with you, even if he’s not the best at it. Half the time, you end up covered in flour because he starts a playful flour fight.
“Whoops!” He says with a cheeky grin plastered on his mouth as he ‘accidentally’ smudges frosting on your face and clothes.
“What the heck man!—” You reply as you get your revenge by dumping the bag of flour on his head. (It turned into a food fight)
As mentioned in pt. 1 before, Daisuke and you are a bit of a klutz, often tripping over your guy's own feet or bumping into things.
“I meant to do that,” he says, trying to play it cool, but you’re already laughing before receiving your own karma and getting in his position as well.
Despite his clumsiness, he’s incredibly gentle when it comes to you. He always holds your hand like it’s the most precious thing in the world.
He’s constantly hyping you up, even for the smallest things.
“You’re amazing, did you know that? Like, wow, how are you so cool?”
If you’re wearing something new, he notices instantly and gushes about how good you look and how he'd look good too if he wore it.
Daisuke loves exploring new places with you, whether it’s a hidden café, a park, or a quirky little shop.
He’ll grab your hand and excitedly drag you along, pointing out everything that catches his eye, you laughing so excitedly with him for a new adventure!
“Look at that! Isn’t it cute? Oh, we have to take a picture here!”
He’s super affectionate, always finding excuses to hold your hand, hug you, or rest his head on your shoulder.
If you’re sitting together, he’ll casually lean against you and sigh contentedly.
Encouragement King.
Whenever you doubt yourself, Daisuke is right there to lift you up.
“You’ve got this! I believe in you 100%. No, 200%! Actually, make that 300%!”
His enthusiasm is so genuine that you can’t help but feel more confident.
Whenever you two hang out and you absolutely matching his energe and humor, it’s like having double the fun. With you both causing as much havoc whenever you guys have sleepovers. (you definitely do each other's make-up and skin care)
He always insists on giving you a hug before you part ways, even if it’s just for a short while.
“Stay safe, okay? And don’t forget how amazing you are!”
Tulpar! Daisuke
If you’re working on something on the freighter, Daisuke is your biggest supporter.
He’ll sneak you in some sweetener that Curly secretly gave to him, cheer you on, and even help out if he can.
No matter how chaotic life gets, Daisuke always makes sure you know how much he cares about you.
“You’re my favorite person in the whole world, well— universe.” he says softly, his eyes sparkling with affection as you giggle at how sweet and passionate he is.
Daisuke LOVES staying up late with you.
He’ll share his dreams, his silly thoughts, and even random trivia he learned from the past.
“Did you know octopuses have three hearts? Isn’t that cool? Anyway, tell me more about your day!”
You two would definitely be talking about random things and maybe play a game once the conversation dries up.
If you're not in the mood to play and just feel tired he'd probably try convincing you to play with him. (You'd eventually give in.)
“Pleaseeee...! Just one round, promise.....!”
Spoiler: It’s never just one round.
“No way! You can’t just skip three spaces because you ‘felt like it’!”
“Why not? It’s a part of my rules!”
Your laughter's is uncontrollable as you guys compete, tell jokes, and make up ridiculous rules for the game. And of course with how much ruckus you guys would make you'd get caught eventually.
Captain Curly appears in the doorway, arms crossed, looking very unimpressed.
“And what, pray tell, are you two doing at this ungodly hour?”
“Uh… team bonding?” Daisuke offers with a sheepish grin.
“Yeah, we’re improving morale!” you add enthusiastically.
Curly is not amused but would sometimes let it slide with a warning. (keyword: sometimes)
I feel like you two would definitely get a lecture about respecting curfew and the importance of sleep.
Daisuke nods seriously, but the moment Curly turns away, he whispers, “Worth it.”
You tried to stifle a laugh, but would get glared at again.
By the time Curly finishes and leaves you both crawl into bed, exhausted but still grinning.
You both fall asleep almost instantly, dreaming of your next late-night adventure.

bye

„Tasty…“
feat. Kyojuro Rengoku
This happens when you are the cute girl who makes his bentos every morning with that pretty smile on your face. It is impossible to not find you and your food tasty.
Tumblr media
Hello world, it’s me again hopeless girl over consuming and enjoying anime stuff💀🤣in this story you are working in the restaurant of your father and everyday you make Rengokus bentos. Don’t know I just thought this might be really cute over all. How he falls for your food and for you. ✨🤣 have fun ✌️
Warnings: pure fluff and just a tiny little bit suggestive in the end but nothing explicit lol
Wordcount: 3,8K
It was a bright day, the sun smiling down. Just highlighting your hair and your features. How he loved to simply watch you. He stood there, tall and broad, leaned against a nearby door frame from the restaurant. Fiery locks falling on his shoulders.
And what was happening right now? Oh, you the sweet, little thing making his bento.
You were the daughter of the owner from this restaurant. And since Rengoku was on a mission here in this small town, he always came here. And even when the food was indeed excellent, he came for you.
He slept in a small hostel next to this restaurant where you worked so hard.
And he always could get his meals there, but in this hostel weren't anyone that was cute like you.
Besides this, you always blushed so endearing when he said his "Tasty" so loud with every bite.
You matched his energy, even when you were more the calm one, a little shy, perhaps. But a shy little mouse, could, caught his eye.
The way you hummed some melody while you made a little twirl before you grabbed the bowl of rice to place it neatly in his bento.
And with the time Rengoku happened to be a good customer in the evening, but since he was protecting this village for a few weeks now, your father was more than happy to serve the talented fire Hashira. Offered that he could get his breakfast or a bento to go for free, and of course you were being the one preparing it fresh every morning.
With the short time here, he really thought you were a pretty girl, inside and outside. Always smiling at you and speaking to you with his warm voice, making you feel all safe and content.
You didn't know you were being watched right now, he could see a glimpse behind the reception into the kitchen. How you hummed and danced a little while making his food.
Probably this was the reason why it tasted so good to him, it was made with love.
After a moment, he sighted to himself, getting ready to startle you and interrupt your cute dance. His steps walking now inside, and he leaned on the reception before he cleared his throat.
You were in the middle to make a twirl before you caught yourself. Your back faced him and even when Rengoku couldn't see it, he was aware how red your face might turn."Good morning, little flame." he chuckled, watched how you tried to compose yourself, neatly brushing over your apron and dress before you turned around with a shy smile."Good morning Rengoku. Your Bento is nearly ready, just some details." you let him know, brushed back a strand of your hair behind your ear. "At least I know why your food always taste so good, it is simply made with the sunshine that is shining right out of your heart. Even in the early morning." he complimented, and it was an honest compliment.
Never, it was just like a compliment from every other guy who tried to hit on you with these simple things like: You look so pretty. What Rengoku said, he really meant. Flashing you a warm smile with his bright eyes.
"You flatter me, but I did not plan for anyone to see this...well, little, silly show. I just like doing bentos...your bentos." you explained, turned again to the small box. You had put a lot of stuff into it, so plain rice with some umeboshi, some tempura fried vegetables and chicken. You also made some fresh dangos this morning that you packed into an extra box. Not only that, but you were simply too good to him with all of that. "Oh, and I like to eat them, they give me strength for the day, my dear. It's the first thing in the morning what I think about." Rengoku meant, and you could feel your heart pumping.
Why did he make you have this weird feeling in your tummy and felt like your heart would jump right out of your chest?
And he never overdoes it, always the right amount of being flirty but still loving. Not afraid to show a softer side, although he shredded demons into pieces in the night. A man, other people should look up to. When you finished doing his bento and packed it safely, you turned around to him and walked to the reception. Your blush now gone, but he was sure it would return, when he said the right thing. Even when he usually never flirted at all with girls, he found out what made you smile. And the flame Hashira loved to see you smile or trying to hide your cute pink cheeks behind your hair.
"The first in the morning what you think about, hm? Seems like my food got stuck in your mind." you replied smirking just a little with a playful tone. He lured it out of you, the playful side, he quite enjoyed seeing on you.The flame hashira leaned closer over the reception just to look straight into your pretty orbs. "Not just the food, to be honest, little flame." he said, and then his fingers grabbed a strand of your hair, feeling the silky texture of it before he tucked it lovely behind your ear. Then he leaned away again. Maybe he was a little surprised by himself now for doing it. But it felt so naturally when he got closer to you. Still his fingertips touched just slightly your cheek. And there was a moment of some silence.
Rengoku looking at you, right into this pretty face, what he adored with that cute expression of surprise. Himself seeming to be surprised. Even when none of you said anything, the moment was quite tender, your head just tilting slightly right, so his palm now was against your face. He felt warm, of course he did, he was the great flame hashira. A fire that always was burning inside him. Making you feel cozy here in this early morning coldness.
But then you two could hear a creaking floor board, it was your father. You heard how your dad sneezed, and the moment of you two was over. Quickly he removed his hand, and you took indistinctly a step back as if you would get caught doing something forbidden.
To be honest, you didn't want to seem like you would get an interest into a man. Afraid your father would find it out. Not that your dear dad would say anything bad at it, but you were always so embarrassed. He just wanted you to be happy.
„Ah, you again, my boy. How is it going with the mission? Still trying to figure out where the demons are coming from?" your father asked, first looked at you and then to Rengoku. The man straightened his back and gave your father a nod, holding the bento in both hands.
"Indeed, we slay them every night, but it seems like this demon is not just some hungry beast. He quiet is having strategies, and perhaps the bloody demon art is summoning clone like demons of himself. He hides somewhere, we just need to figure out where." Rengoku explained the current state of the mission, and your father nodded along. Let out a laugh before you felt the hand of him on your shoulder.
"Nothing someone like you couldn't handle. My dear (Y/N) makes the best bentos around, she always gets up extra early to make it ready for you. You can always count on our food, of course for free. After all, you will save this village. You are gladly welcomed in the evening too, boy."
your father offered, he sensed there was something between you and the strong hashira. You blushed again and just lowered your head.
It melts his big heart, when he heard you always got up extra early for his bento, how were you able on being so cute? Rengokus bright eyes laid on you for a moment. Even when he got the food for free, he always laid some coins in the small bowl for tips at the reception, no matter how often you said he wouldn't need to.
"Yeah, yeah whatever. Make sure you come back whole, Rengoku." you tried to brush it off flustered, what your father had said before you went back to the kitchen.
Your small flame endearing walked out of his sight. Just when Rengoku wanted to politely say goodbye, your father turned to him again.
"She likes you, boy. More than she wants to let anyone know, but she does." your father said a little lower so you wouldn't hear it. And his eyes, oh they lit up at this moment.
"She does?" was the only thing Rengoku asked again, slightly tilting his upper body to look at your form again in the kitchen before he returned his gaze to your dad.
"Since you are here, I never have seen (Y/N) taking so much interest in someone, so make sure you come back. We don't want my dear daughter to be sad, right?" your father chuckled before he let Rengoku go.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Awwww is that formed to a flame? How cute is that? And these dangos? You don't mind when I steal one, right?" the voice of Mitsuri was heard by him. He had called for her support during this mission, she was like a sister to him, he holds dear. And of course around lunchtime, while they had inspected the place that soon would to be a battlefield for the demon; she couldn't hold back her curiosity and opened his bento, it smelled so good after all. Rengoku stepped closer after he heard her voice, taking the bento from her hands, looking at the flame.
You always put so much effort in it, every day another little artwork he could see in his bento.
"She is, indeed, quite talented in it. Yesterday she made little flowers out of vegetable in my bento and draped everything nicely." he remembered while looking down at the food, although he was thinking about the way you made it. The smile on your face, wanted that it looked appealing to him.
"For sure, take one." he then added after he realized Mitsuris question. She sighted content and happy about the fact she could have one. But she seemed happy to know someone took care of him, someone who he liked. She smiled, then opening the other box. Finding a note, she really wanted to read it, but she never wanted to hurt you or Rengokus privacy.
"Oh look, whoever she is, packed a small note for you." she said and hold it out for him.
Was it possible that you just got even more attractive? He took the Bento into his other hand and grabbed the note with the free one, unfolding it quickly.
'Please be safe and successful. I hope you like the food - (Y/N)'
Damn, he fell, he fell so hard in love with you. Even when your father confirmed you liked him, it was a situation he never needed to worry about. And now?
"Someone seems to like you, huh?" Mitsuri teased after she took a bite of a dango.
"And they way you act seems like you like her too. I can see the big heart eyes, Rengoku." she continued with a chuckle.
"She is a special little flame, that is right. I like her presence, since I am here. Enjoying it, but I never quite act too much like it." he said, and Mitsuri could hear that Rengoku no matter how confident he is, struggled a little.
It was a mission, and with much luck this mission would go to an end today. Then he would need to go somewhere else, he would be missing you. The sweet girl that always makes him tasty food, packing him lovely notes. Talking with him in the evening, when every other guest was gone. Laughing with him, listening so excited to his stories.
"You know what, when she is putting so much effort into these things, maybe you should tell her. I bet she would be happy. I mean, I would when I have someone who likes me that way. Furthermore, I would want to know that." Mitsuri explains herself blushing slightly after she thought about Obanai and their situation that was also not quite reveled....
Mitsuri and Rengoku had a long talk while doing their tasks, about you and him, maybe she even thought about a plan how to get you two finally closer....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After the mission went to be successful, and he came back, oh the whole village celebrated. Like everyone was coming into the restaurant of your father. He and Mitsuri slayed the demon quite well and none of them were hurt. You even ran out of the kitchen. Your face edged with worry at first. Wanted to see yourself that he really was ok. Of course, he was, after all, he was a hashira. The flame hashira. Your small hands had laid onto his broad shoulders, looking him up and down.
"You are really fine, yeah?" you asked, not even saying hello. Your delicate hands rand down his shoulders to his strong chest, kinda observing him. Feeling the hard planes of muscles. He chuckled slightly. Mitsuri standing a little away, watching the scene unfold with interest. This was like her new drama/love story to follow. Like she wanted to giggle and kick her feet, seeing how captivated he was by you.
Rengoku took both your hands and laid it over his heart. It was a simple gesture but effective. He was always an inspiration for others, but with you, he was truly tender.
His thumb brushed over your knuckles. He placed the over is beating heart to show you that he was very fine.
"My heart is beating, we slayed the demon. I am more than fine. Not a scratch." he told you, and then your eyes went from his hands to his eyes.
Making you nearly weak in the knees.
"Not a scratch, yeah." you let out, nearly a whisper, before you gifted him with that lovely smile of yours.
But since the demon was slayed, a lot of people wanted to come and thank him and Mitsuri, so it didn't take long for a small crowd to interrupt you two. Before he could reach out for you again, you probably needed to go back in the kitchen.
As the evening went on, you and your father tried to make a nearly a feast of food for this celebration. The night would be going long, everyone happy that all were safe now. But Rengoku only had eyes for you. After you finally were done serving and cooking, you came out of the kitchen. You were still stressed, he could see this on the way you had pulled your eyebrows together. But still absolutely gorgeous. He needed you, needed you to know.
"When you would excuse me." he then said curtly but friendly to the small crowd surrounding him, before he made his way over to you.
"Nearly seems like you slayed a demon too, little flame." he said when he approached your side after you washed your hands.
"Nah, maybe it's the same, slaying a demon or serving some drunkards. But that is not important. They are all happy, you helped our village a lot and this is the only thing that counts today." you let him know, genuinely wanted him to feel special for this celebration because it was his victory.
"Oh I love the food and-" he started but was interrupted by your chuckle, you dried your hands and turned to him, smirking sweetly.
"Oh I heard that, that 'Tasty' it was loud enough for me to hear it even in the back of the kitchen." and this time it was him slightly blushing before reaching out a hand laying it on the part where your neck meets your shoulder, feeling the smooth skin there.
"Maybe I wanted you to hear it." he continued the playful banter, his thumb caressing over you, making you feel again this tingle inside you.
"Would you mind going somewhere more quiet?" he asked you then, his tone a little more serious. This was probably the last chance to get you alone to talk with him before he would need to go somewhere else. Even when your village wasn't far from the main quarters, he would go on missions.
"Of course not, the bustling surrounding can be draining." you said and you two went out, walking in the cold night air that was refreshing.
"You will need to go tomorrow right?" you asked then, and he already could hear the sad undertone, making his heart clench.
"Yeah, another day, another mission to save the people. Demons unfortunately don't give anyone a break." he responded before taking a deep breath, looking down at your small frame.
"Well, since we had one here, I can imagine this. How will you survive without my food?" you asked then, kinda playful but also serious, you would miss him.
 "That just means I need to make some detour to come along, hoping the pretty flame is cooking something delicious for me." he said to you, and then you looked up. What a sight to him, the moonlight making you having nearly this ethereal glow. Your plump lips looking so inviting. He stopped walking, grabbing gently your hand.
"A detour? I wouldn't mind that, I am making everything you wish for." you said nearly a little desperate, indeed you would do anything, when this means he would come back every now and then. As much as he could, at least. Before you realized what came out of your mouth, you covered it. "I am sorry, I-I. I just...I am just glad you seemed to enjoy my food." you tried to talk yourself out, but you meet eyes that looking at you with nothing less the adoration.
"I enjoy quiet more than just your food, (Y/N)." he then actually would try to confess now, that he liked you. You already got ready to apologize, starting to bubble it out, although you then suddenly stopped, raising an eyebrow.
"You enjoyed not just my food?" you asked then with that cute tilt of your head.
"I enjoy you, perhaps. You know, everything you do, seems to be made with love and passion. You are shy, but you're burning brighter than any fire ever could. This is appealing to say at least. I...think I am hitting on you." he then said it, he was always confident, but he was aware that these things needed to be careful with, not wanting to ruin anything. You looked like frozen in place, blinking at him.
"That was the most beautiful thing someone said to me." You then let out more than actually surprised, that someone, a hashira was hitting on a village girl like you.
"I am hitting on you too, maybe even a little too hard sometimes." you then also confessed insecure looking away, but he grabbed gently your chin tilting it up to look at you.
"So you don't mind when I kiss you?" he asked, his voice just a little lower, making your tummy even churn. Looking at him with these big doe eyes.
He really wanted to do this for some time now, claiming these lips, holding your face in his large hands, letting you know how much you mean to him.
"I don't mind, more like the opposite." you mumbled, already felt how he got closer, his breath mingling with yours.
His nose nudging against your own, averting your face.
"Good, because I believe I can't resist a second longer." you heard him mumble, his right hand cupping your cheek so tender.
Thumb brushing over your cheekbone in a slow movement. His fiery locks tingling your delicate skin before you finally felt his lips against yours.
You were a little hesitant at first, slowly kissed him back, nearly so shy that you pulled away, but the way his own warmth seeped into your body, the way he smelled like crackling fire was kinda grounding.
Your small hands laid onto his shoulders as you felt he moved closer, his free hand laying gently in the curve of your waist, pulling you against his strong chest.
"Tasty." you could hear the little word in between, you tasted sweet, your lips soft and so kissable, he simply couldn't resist saying it.
You giggled just slightly into the kiss before your lips caught his again. It made you blush, and warm around your heart.
And it didn't take that long for you two starting to tangle your tongues and being completely lost in each other's embrace. Every kiss turned out to be more passionate than the last one. You two started to make out, his hand that cupped your cheek slowly went down to your neck, his thumb caressing over the column of your throat in a loving way.
His fingers on your waist kept you in place, close against his tall body.
"When we keep going, I am not sure if I can stop, little flame." Rengoku muttered against your lips before you stopped kissing him.
Your sweet lips swollen from the make out session, your face flustered just like his own.
"No one said we need to stop, it's the last night you are here." you whispered now, and your eyes gave it all away.
You were always such a good girl, and of course never letting anyone have you when you weren't completely convinced, but for Rengoku?
Your heart fluttered, your tummy making the weirdest moves, and this kiss?
You could get lost in it, and right now you even would want to take him up into your room. You grabbed his hand, smiling a little coy, but you knew what your plans were.
"You don't need-" he wanted to start explaining why you don't need to do this, just because he felt he wouldn't last long without getting too riled up.
"That's the point, I don't need, but I want. And right now when everyone is busy...it's quite a good time. Let me reward you." you said to him, and he could tell this would go to be the best celebration he ever had when he slayed a demon...
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sooooo when you made it to the end of this little fic, then thank you for your time ^^
I am still trying to decide if I should make a second part of this? Like the smutty part of the story you know? Not quiet sure yet, but opinion if I should are welcome :3
CALANMAI: Spring Court 🌸🪷🌺
I feel like everyone loves to form these think pieces on only the Night court and it’s only the night court that has lores and traditions. Basically sjm as put everything there that it makes all other courts less attractive, less important and less appealing, which I think is not fair. Im tired of all the in CC connections to the night court or ToG connected to Rhys etc. it gets boring and stagnant and I’m over it. I want something new and fresh. So I chose the next one in ACOTAR that at least we have some incline of which is Calanmai 🌝
I know it’s brushed off because of how Tamlin is hated, but besides the spring court we don’t know much about the others. Ok….
Calanmai isn’t actually a spring festival if we are going to use the welsh explanation. Basically it marks the beginning of summer. But some of the key features of this rite were reimagined in ACOTAR: fire rituals to honor the sun, fertility celebrations (the sexy time ☺️) to honor the earth and sky, dancing to promote unity with other courts, the use of flowers and greenery.
So here are my two scents on Calanmai
It’s presented as a sacred rite tied deeply to the magic, fertility, and prosperity of the Spring Court and, by extension, all of Prythian. I say prythian because it was stated that all HLs participate in this rite.
Lucien says:
“It's the Great Rite, Cauldron boil me! Didn't anyone tell you what it is? [...] Fire Night signals the official start of spring-in Prythian, as well as in the mortal world.
Side thought Did spring offer majority of their land to the humans? Which means they could’ve had so much land as the night court before??? Thoughts?
Continue:
I...] Here, our crops depend upon the magic we regenerate on Calanmai-tonight. [...] We do this by conducting the Great Rite. Each of the seven High Lords of Prythian performs this every year, since their magic comes from the earth and returns to it at the end-it's a give and take."
Lucien then goes on to explain how Tamlin will have magic going through him, etc.
So if it’s a give and take, the crown that ferret wanted so badly, what is she GIVING? The HLs all serve prythian so what has ferret done in other courts? 😂
So Not only is the spring court important it depends on the spring court to put food on everyone’s table aka rhysie goosie and ferret. I bet she doesn’t know where her food comes from.
Also the question of Rhys not taking part in this rite last time is always questioned. Lucien tells Feyre that after Tamlin believed Feyre had been abducted in the Night Court at the time of Calanmai, he refused to perform the Great Rite. Lucien took his place, taking lanthe, the most powerful Fae female in the court at that moment, (tam can’t catch a break with These powerful females 🤣) into the cave and performing the Rite even though he hated her. Which means that many HLs can send people in their courts who are powerful like ianthe to take their place when they cant make it.
The HL being power itself are CONDUITS, without them the magic may faulter because we as readers don’t even know HOW THE HLs came to be. Tamlin, as High Lord of the Spring Court, channels the primal magic of the season to renew the land’s fertility and magic. During this rite, Tamlin temporarily surrenders himself to the raw, ancient forces of Spring Magic, ensuring the continued abundance and balance of his court’s lands and its people. See him surrendering and coming all the way back to bite ferret… I wish that was me‼️🤣🤣🤣🤣 I’d surrender too…
Anyway… 😄Here are some of my theories on how the Calanmai rite at the spring court benefits Tamlin, the spring court and all of prythian:
• as HL, it reaffirms Tamlins Role as a Conduit of Magic. he solidifies his bond with the land and its magic, strengthening his power as a protector and ruler. This part is important because his court’s health is tied to his ability to serve, not just rule.
• maintains balance to the magic of the land and prythian as a whole.
• a very important detail here that people seem to miss, Calanmai is TRADITION AND RESPONSIBILITY! In a time of political tension, it could reinforce Tamlins role as a leader aligned with the natural order. Hopefully in his pov those who deserted him in his court as well as the other courts cannot by pass him if something is to happen to the land without the rites performed. He will be needed. He cannot stay cooped up forever.
• I think it’s fairly obvious that this rite ensures fertility and growth. Lush vegetation, bountiful harvest etc, I think that’s where the sex part comes him 😄
• so I think Calanmai also is a rite performed to reinforce the warding spells and protection barriers surrounding the Spring Court, safeguarding it from external threats and maintaining the balance of power within Prythian. It makes sense because after the Asteri came and caused interruptions, the HLs wanted something that could protect them when another alien came. And it makes sense that velaris is still strong with all its barrier intact (pretty prison)
• I love this part…. The rite Maintaining connections to old magic 🪄 old primal magic that existed before even the HLs. As much as ferret spits on fae tradtions, old magic is not tamed, it goes no where and will always need the old ways to satiate it. The tradition preserves the court’s unique identity and ensures its magic does not wane over time. (And just because people’s tradtions are different from yours doesn’t mean you should not respect it. *coughs* feyre🙃)
• Without Calanmai, the ripple effect of unchecked or stagnant spring magic could destabilize the balance across courts. Each court in Prythian is tied to its respective season, and The Spring Court serves as the starting point of the cycle of growth, fertility, and rebirth that sustains all of Prythian’s lands.
• the HLs participations also brings unity, they aren’t secluding themselves, they don’t forget why they are HLs and also one people. I’m thinking over the millennia they have forgotten so some choose not to take part in it. I guess. But these should be the times their alliances formed and become stronger… 🤦🏾‍♀️
Calanmai is not merely a ceremonial event in my opinion , it is a magical and political necessity as I said before and For Tamlin, it reinforces his strength and bond with the Spring Court. For the Spring Court, it guarantees fertility, protection, and prosperity. For Prythian, it ensures that the cycle of life and magic continues unbroken. Participating in Calanmai is both a privilege and a responsibility.
A little side thought: As someone who is heavily into spirituality, I believe that the nature courts deal more with the physical and the celestial courts deal with the spiritual eg. Spring provides food for the physical body, night provides dreams and nightmares for the astral body. (If this makes sense?) 😄
Tumblr media
Lee Know had always been a bit of a loner, reserved in his thoughts, but when it came to Y/N, everything changed. He could hardly think straight when she was around. His feelings for her had developed over timesubtle at first, a passing thought here or there, and then the realization that he was falling for her. Slowly, quietly, in a way that wasn’t so easy to ignore anymore.
But Y/N had her own thing going on. She wasn’t oblivious to him, not at all. Yet, she was always around Seungmin, always laughing at his jokes, always turning to him for everything, and Lee Know couldn’t help but feel a pang of jealousy each time he saw the two of them together. Seungmin was Y/N’s best friend, and their bond was undeniable.
Lee Know didn’t even know when it had happened, but the attraction had started to fester. Y/N had been there when he needed someone, but it wasn’t until recently that the idea of her not being in his life became unbearable.
The way she smiled, the way her eyes lit up when Seungmin said something funny it gnawed at him. I want that. I want her to look at me like that, he thought, staring at her from across the room. She was sitting on the couch, reading, while Seungmin was beside her, his voice animated as he spoke.
Why does it always have to be Seungmin? Lee Know thought bitterly. Why can’t it be me?
He was so lost in his own thoughts that he didn’t even realize Hyunjin was sitting beside him until his friend spoke.
“You’re staring again, Minho.”
Lee Know snapped out of it, his gaze immediately shifting to Hyunjin. He had been so deep in his thoughts that he didn’t even notice how obvious he was being.
“Uh, sorry,” Lee Know muttered, trying to hide the blush creeping up his neck.
Hyunjin smirked, nudging him lightly. “It’s not like you to get so worked up over a girl.”
Lee Know glared at him, but there was a hint of frustration in his voice. “It’s not just any girl, Hyunjin. It’s Y/N.”
Hyunjin raised an eyebrow. “Ah, that explains it. But why don’t you just tell her how you feel?”
Lee Know sighed. “She’s always with Seungmin. I don’t stand a chance.”
Hyunjin shook his head, his voice turning serious. “Minho, you won’t know until you try. She might feel the same way.”
Lee Know didn’t respond right away. The thought of confronting Y/N, of putting his feelings out there and risking their friendship, terrified him. But deep down, he knew he couldn’t keep hiding his emotions. Not when his heart ached every time he saw her smile at Seungmin.
Days passed, and Lee Know found himself drawn to Y/N more and more. The way she laughed, the way her eyes lit up when she spoke, it was like she had a gravity all her own, pulling him closer despite the circumstances. It was almost as if he couldn’t stop himself anymore, and his heart betrayed him every time he caught himself staring.
One day, the three of them Y/N, Seungmin, and Lee Know were having lunch in the park. Seungmin and Y/N were discussing something that seemed trivial, but it was enough to make Lee Know seethe with jealousy. They were so natural together, so comfortable.
Why does she turn to him so easily? Lee Know thought, pushing his food around on his plate. Does she even see me?
As if sensing the growing tension in the air, Y/N turned to Lee Know, her expression softening. “Minho, you’re awfully quiet today. What’s on your mind?”
Lee Know’s heart skipped a beat. She was looking at him—looking directly at him, her eyes full of concern.
“Nothing,” Lee Know replied quickly, forcing a smile. “Just… tired.”
Seungmin, of course, didn’t miss the subtle tension. “Are you sure? You’ve been acting weird lately. You usually joke around more.”
Lee Know’s gaze flicked to Seungmin, and for the briefest moment, he felt an overwhelming surge of jealousy. Why does it always come so easily for him?
But he pushed it down, shaking his head. “I’m fine,” he said with a tight smile.
Y/N, however, didn’t buy it. “You’re sure?” she asked again, this time her voice softer.
Why is she being so gentle with me? Lee Know thought. Maybe… maybe there’s more to this than I realize.
Seungmin seemed oblivious to the moment. “Anyway, did you hear about that new cafe opening downtown? Y/N and I should go check it out sometime, maybe this weekend.”
Lee Know felt the pit of his stomach drop. Of course she would go with him, he thought bitterly, although he didn’t show it on the outside.
Y/N glanced at him, catching the edge of his expression. “What do you think, Minho? Would you want to come?”
Lee Know blinked, caught off guard by her sudden question. She’s asking me? It didn’t make sense. Why would she want me to go?
“I… I guess,” Lee Know said, his voice faltering slightly. “Sure. I could come.”
Y/N smiled, a genuine smile that made his heart race. “Great! It’ll be fun.”
Over the next few days, Lee Know found himself spending more and more time with Y/N. It started off casually, with her inviting him along on errands or to grab a coffee, but soon, the interactions became more personal. They shared quiet moments in the library, exchanging thoughts on their coursework. He found himself confiding in her more than he ever had before.
She’s different with me now, Lee Know thought one evening as they sat on a park bench, sharing stories about their childhoods. I never realized how easy it could be to talk to her.
Y/N, unaware of the growing connection between them, laughed lightly as she told him a funny story about Seungmin.
“I swear, sometimes I think Seungmin is more dramatic than I am,” Y/N said, chuckling. “He can’t take a joke to save his life.”
Lee Know smiled, but there was a flicker of something darker behind his eyes. I don’t want to hear about Seungmin anymore. I want to talk about us. But I can’t say that.
“I’m sure he’s just being dramatic,” Lee Know said, his voice lighter than he felt. He didn’t want to ruin the moment, so he changed the subject. “You seem to get along with him really well.”
Y/N’s eyes softened as she looked at him. “We’ve known each other for years. We’re like family.”
Lee Know felt his chest tighten at her words. Like family. And what am I?
But he didn’t say it out loud. Instead, he pushed the thought away, focusing on the warmth of her presence beside him. It felt nice. It felt right.
But as the days passed, he couldn’t ignore the nagging feeling that Seungmin was still in the picture—still the one Y/N would turn to. I can’t keep letting this happen. I have to make my move.
It wasn’t long before Seungmin began to notice the shift. Lee Know and Y/N were spending more time together, and it was starting to get under his skin. He was Y/N’s best friend, her confidant. They had history, a bond that couldn’t be broken. Or so he thought.
One afternoon, after a particularly long day of studying, Seungmin confronted Lee Know. They were walking down the street, heading to a nearby cafe when Seungmin finally spoke up.
“Minho, we need to talk.”
Lee Know raised an eyebrow, his nerves already on edge. “About what?”
Seungmin’s eyes narrowed, his voice low. “About Y/N.”
Lee Know’s heart skipped a beat. Here it comes.
“Y/N’s been spending a lot of time with you lately,” Seungmin continued, his tone defensive. “And I’m not sure how I feel about that.”
Lee Know’s jaw clenched. “I’m not trying to steal her from you, Seungmin,” he said, his voice tight with frustration. “She’s her own person. I can’t control who she spends time with.”
Seungmin’s expression darkened. “You’ve always been a little too interested in her, Minho. I’m starting to think there’s more to this than you’re letting on.”
Lee Know’s patience was wearing thin. “And what’s that supposed to mean?”
Seungmin took a step closer, his tone growing more intense. “I see the way you look at her. You’re falling for her, aren’t you?”
Lee Know froze, his heart pounding in his chest. How does he know?
“I—” Lee Know began, but he didn’t know what to say.
Seungmin’s eyes softened slightly, but there was still a sharp edge to his words. “You better figure it out, Minho. I don’t want to lose her to you.”
It all came to a head one evening when Lee Know was hanging out with Y/N at a small café. They were sipping coffee, talking about everything and nothing at all, when Seungmin suddenly barged in, his expression dark.
“You’re spending a lot of time with him, huh?” Seungmin said, his voice laced with tension. He didn’t even greet Y/N first, his eyes locked on Lee Know.
Y/N blinked in surprise, but Lee Know wasn’t phased. “We’re just hanging out,” he said evenly, trying to keep his cool.
Seungmin’s gaze flickered to Y/N, who was looking between the two of them, clearly sensing the change in the atmosphere. “I don’t know if I like this, Minho,” Seungmin said, his voice low but sharp. “You’ve been acting different around her lately.”
Lee Know’s temper flared, but he forced himself to stay calm. “What’s your problem, Seungmin?”
Y/N’s eyes darted between them. “what’s happening right now?”
But before either of them could respond, Seungmin raised his voice. “You’re acting like you’re her only friend now, Minho. I don’t like it.”
Lee Know stood up, his chair scraping against the floor. “I’m not trying to replace you, Seungmin. I’m just… trying to be there for her.”
The tension in the air was palpable, and Y/N looked uncomfortable, clearly caught in the middle of their argument.
Seungmin clenched his fists, his jaw tightening. “It’s not about replacing me, it’s about the way you’ve been acting. You can’t just swoop in and expect things to change just because you decided to—”
“I didn’t decide anything,” Lee Know interrupted, his voice rising. “I’m not doing anything wrong, okay? I’m just trying to be her friend, the same as you.”
Y/N stood up now, stepping between them, her eyes wide with alarm. “Stop! Both of you, stop!” Her voice was loud, but there was panic in it, like she was afraid things might actually get out of hand.
Seungmin looked at her for a moment, his expression softening. “I’m just… trying to make sure he knows his place,” he muttered under his breath.
Lee Know shot Seungmin a glare, and for a split second, their eyes locked, both of them silent, the weight of unspoken words heavy in the air. Neither one of them was willing to back down.
“I’m not trying to take anyone’s place,” Lee Know said, voice tight, but now quieter. “I’m just… here, like you are. What’s the problem with that?”
Y/N’s gaze flitted between them, her heart racing. She wanted to scream at both of them to stop acting like children, but the tension was so thick it was hard to breathe.
“I just want things to stay the way they were,” Seungmin said, his tone softer now, almost pleading. “I don’t want things to get… complicated.”
Lee Know turned to Y/N, his gaze softening just a little as he tried to gauge her reaction. She was still standing there, uncertain, caught in the middle of a battle she hadn’t signed up for. She looks so lost, Lee Know thought, his heart aching with the knowledge that he was contributing to the mess.
“I don’t want things to change either,” Lee Know said, his voice steady but not without frustration. “But I’m not going to back off just because you’re uncomfortable with it, Seungmin.”
Seungmin looked at him, then back at Y/N. He opened his mouth to say something, but closed it again, clenching his jaw. Without another word, he turned and stormed out of the café, leaving a stunned silence behind him.
Lee Know stayed where he was, his chest tight. He hadn’t won, but the argument wasn’t over. Not by a long shot.
Y/N took a shaky breath and finally spoke, her voice quiet. “I… I don’t know what to say.”
Lee Know didn’t know what to say either. His mind was racing, but he couldn’t find the words. Instead, he just stood there, watching her as she struggled with everything between them.
“Are you okay?” he finally asked, his voice soft, almost vulnerable.
She met his gaze, her eyes searching his face for something, anything. “I… I think I just need some time to think.”
The weight of her words hung in the air, and for the first time, Lee Know truly realized how complicated things had become. He didn’t want to lose her, but at this rate, he wasn’t sure what would happen next.
Y/N had left the café with a soft promise to see them later, but the air was thick with unsaid words and heavy thoughts. As soon as the door closed behind her, the atmosphere between Lee Know and Seungmin changed. What had been simmering beneath the surface now exploded in full force.
Lee Know’s fingers clenched around his coffee cup, the hot liquid now forgotten. He watched as Seungmin sat back in his chair, his arms crossed, his expression stormy.
Seungmin’s voice broke the silence first. “You’ve been acting like you’ve got some claim on her, Minho. You think she needs you more than me?”
Lee Know didn’t flinch. “I’m not the one making things awkward,” he said coolly, his voice dangerously calm. “I’ve just been here, trying to be her friend. You’re the one acting like I’m stealing something from you.”
Seungmin’s eyes flashed with a mix of anger and something deeper—something darker. “Don’t even act like you don’t know what’s going on, Minho. You’re not fooling anyone. You’ve been sniffing around her for weeks, and it’s pathetic. She’s my best friend. You don’t get to just waltz in and play the hero.”
Lee Know’s fists tightened. He knew this was coming. Seungmin had been avoiding the truth for too long. But now, there was no denying it—Seungmin was jealous, and not just a little.
“I’m not trying to ‘play the hero,’ Seungmin,” Lee Know snapped, his voice low but seething. “I don’t need to play games with her. But it’s clear you’ve been hiding behind this act, pretending like everything’s fine. You’re scared of what might happen if she knows how you really feel.”
Seungmin stood up abruptly, the table creaking under the sudden movement. “You have no right to say anything about how I feel! You don’t get to dictate what happens between us, Minho. You need to stay the hell away from her.”
Lee Know’s eyes hardened, the challenge in Seungmin’s words hitting him like a physical blow. “What’s that supposed to mean, exactly?” His voice dropped to a low, menacing tone. “You want me to just back off and pretend like nothing’s happening? That we’re all just friends here? Because that’s not how it works.”
Seungmin sneered. “You don’t know anything about how this works. You’re just some guy trying to get into her head. You don’t even care about her. You just want to prove you’re better than me.”
Lee Know leaned in, his chest tightening as his frustration began to spill over. “I care about her more than you’ve ever made her feel, Seungmin. So don’t you dare try to act like you’ve got some kind of claim on her. I’m not backing down. If anything, you’re the one who’s been messing things up.”
Seungmin’s face twisted in fury, his hands trembling with rage. “You think you’re better than me? You think she’ll just drop everything and choose you over me? She’s not going to want some guy who only showed up when it was convenient. I’ve been here for her since the beginning, Minho.”
Lee Know stood up, his breath quickening as he took a step toward Seungmin. “You don’t know what she needs, Seungmin. You’re so busy pretending everything’s fine that you can’t see she’s struggling. You think she wants someone who won’t even admit their feelings?”
“Shut up!” Seungmin shouted, his voice breaking through the tension like a thunderclap. “You don’t know anything about her! You’re not better than me. You’re just a distraction.”
Lee Know’s eyes flashed with fury, his heart pounding in his chest. “A distraction? You think I’m a distraction to her? You think she’s going to look at you and think you’re the one who truly understands her?”
Seungmin’s lips curled into a bitter grin. “At least I didn’t wait until she was falling apart to finally decide I’m interested. You only care about her now because you see a chance to win. You’re just a stupid fucking low life idiot and that’s why nobody likes with you.”
That was it. The words hit Lee Know like a punch to the gut. His vision blurred with anger. He was done. The quiet rage that had been simmering inside him finally boiled over.
Without thinking, Lee Know’s fist shot out, slamming into Seungmin’s face with a sickening thud. The force of the punch sent Seungmin crashing backward into the table, knocking it over with a loud bang. Coffee spilled everywhere, the sharp smell of spilled liquid filling the air.
For a moment, the café was silent. Lee Know stood there, breathing heavily, his knuckles throbbing from the impact. Seungmin’s face was flushed with pain, but his eyes burned with something darker. Something more dangerous.
“You want to keep talking?” Lee Know’s voice was raw, almost unrecognizable with the anger that bubbled up from deep within. “Keep running your mouth. I’m done with this.”
Seungmin stood up slowly, wiping the blood from his lip. His eyes locked with Lee Know’s, and for the first time, Lee Know could see the full force of Seungmin’s jealousy and frustration. Seungmin had always been the calm one, the rational one, but now he was wild, unraveling at the seams.
“You think that’ll solve everything?” Seungmin hissed. “You think throwing a punch is going to make her choose you? You’re wrong, Minho. You’re just as selfish as I am. We’re both just a couple of idiots fighting over the same girl.”
Lee Know didn’t back down. “Maybe, but I’m not going to let you push me around anymore.”
The two of them were standing face to face now, chest to chest, fists clenched and breath coming fast. Neither one of them was willing to back off.
Seungmin’s eyes flared with rage as he lunged at Lee Know, throwing a wild punch that collided with Lee Know’s jaw. The force of the hit sent him staggering back, but he didn’t fall. Instead, he swung his own fist at Seungmin’s face, landing a blow to his cheek.
The fight was messy, chaotic. Every punch, every shove was fueled by jealousy, by frustration, by the raw emotion they both couldn’t control. Both of them had wanted Y/N, and neither of them was willing to admit it openly. But now, the weight of their feelings had led them to this a brutal, ugly fight neither of them had ever imagined.
Hyunjin burst through the door at that moment, eyes wide with shock as he rushed toward them, trying to break the fight up. “Enough!” he shouted, grabbing both of them by the shoulders and pulling them apart with surprising strength.
Lee Know stood there, chest heaving, his blood pounding in his ears. Seungmin wiped the blood from his lip, his eyes filled with something unreadable. Hyunjin didn’t let go of them immediately, his grip firm as he looked between the two.
“You both need to calm down,” Hyunjin said, his voice more controlled than it had been just a moment ago. “This… this isn’t helping anyone.”
Lee Know didn’t respond. His mind was racing, his emotions a mess. The fight had escalated so quickly, but now that it was over, it felt like a hollow victory. What had it solved? Nothing. It hadn’t solved anything. He wanted to be the one Y/N turned to, but now… now he wasn’t sure how to fix things.
The fight had been messy. Lee Know had left the café first, walking out without another word to anyone. He had stormed off, his mind racing with everything that had happened. But now, the dust had settled—sort of.
Seungmin, on the other hand, wasn’t in a much better place. He had lingered for a while, still processing everything that had just happened. It was hard not to feel the burn of that fight, the sting of Lee Know’s words, the punch that had landed with a resounding smack against his cheek. But what really gnawed at him wasn’t the physical pain; it was the fact that Y/N hadn’t been there to witness it.
He didn’t want to admit it, but the truth stung.
The truth was, Y/N was starting to see Lee Know differently. He could see it in the way she looked at him when he was around. The tension in the air when the three of them were together was almost unbearable, and Seungmin hated it. He hated how Lee Know seemed to be inching closer to Y/N every day.
But the next day was different. Y/N had agreed to hang out with him. It wasn’t just another group gathering; it was just the two of them, the way things used to be. Seungmin had invited her over to his house, and she’d agreed without hesitation. Maybe, just maybe, he could regain the comfort he had with her before all of this tension had begun. Before everything had changed.
The air in Seungmin’s apartment felt heavier than usual as Y/N stepped inside. She always loved coming here—his space felt comfortable, familiar, like home. But today, it was different. Everything felt strange, as if something was shifting beneath the surface.
Seungmin greeted her with a casual smile, but his eyes held something deeper. There was a tension there, a wariness that Y/N couldn’t quite place. She couldn’t help but wonder if it had something to do with the fight she’d witnessed between him and Lee Know just a few days ago. Things had changed between them ever since. And though she tried to ignore it, a part of her couldn’t help but feel the shift feel it in the way they both looked at her, in the moments of silence that stretched too long.
“So, what do you want to do today?” Seungmin asked, trying to sound casual. He motioned toward the couch. “We could watch a movie or just hang out… Whatever you feel like.”
Y/N nodded, stepping further into the room. She felt drawn to the couch, sinking into its softness. But as she did, her eyes fell on Seungmin’s arm. Her gaze lingered for a moment, and she froze. There was a bruise on his forearm, just above his sleeve.
“Seungmin… what happened?” she asked, her voice soft, but sharp with concern. She stood up slightly, her eyes locked on the purple-blue mark.
He paused, looking down at the bruise as if he had just remembered it was there. A faint chuckle escaped his lips, though it was humorless. “It’s nothing,” he said, brushing it off. “I… got into a bit of a scuffle with Lee Know. Nothing serious.”
Y/N’s heart sank. She had hoped it wasn’t related to the fight, but now that she saw the bruise, the tension between them felt even more palpable. She sat back down, her thoughts racing.
A part of her wanted to ask more, wanted to know the truth about what had happened, but another part of her knew it wouldn’t do any good. The distance between Seungmin and Lee Know was growing, and there was nothing she could do to fix it. It was like they were both pulling in different directions, and she was caught in the middle.
“I didn’t know it had gotten that bad,” Y/N finally said, her voice quieter now. She couldn’t help but look at the bruise again.
Seungmin shook his head, his lips pressing into a thin line. “It’s nothing to worry about,” he repeated. “I’m fine. You don’t need to stress about it.”
But Y/N wasn’t so sure. She studied him, her eyes tracing the curve of his jaw, the way his hand tightened around the edge of the couch. There was more beneath the surface, and she could feel it in her bones.
“Okay,” she said softly, though the worry in her chest didn’t go away. She changed the subject, trying to push the awkwardness aside. “What have you been up to lately?”
Seungmin leaned back, trying to relax, but Y/N could see the tension in his shoulders, the way his fingers drummed against the armrest.
“Same old stuff,” he replied, but his voice was distracted. “School, work, and dealing with… everything else.” His eyes flicked toward her, searching for something in her expression. “I haven’t had much time to… think about anything else.”
Y/N’s heart skipped a beat at his words. The way he said it made her wonder—was he talking about Lee Know? Or was he talking about something else entirely?
She tried to ignore the way her stomach fluttered at the thought.
They sat in silence for a moment, the air thick with unspoken words. Y/N shifted on the couch, her body feeling warmer as the space between them seemed to shrink.
“So,” Y/N began, trying to lighten the mood, “What do you want to do today? Really, I’m good with anything.”
Seungmin glanced at her, his lips twitching into a small smile. “I don’t know,” he said slowly. “How about we just… hang out? No pressure.”
Y/N smiled, though her mind was still caught on the bruise. It was hard to focus on anything else when she could still feel the weight of it in the air. She shifted again, glancing down at her phone, but when she looked up, she found Seungmin watching her—his eyes locked on hers with an intensity that she wasn’t quite used to.
It was like everything in the room slowed for a moment. The sound of her own breath filled her ears, and for a brief second, she wondered if she could hear his heart beating too. They were sitting so close now, the space between them feeling like nothing at all.
Y/N’s pulse quickened as she noticed how his eyes dropped to her lips for just a fraction of a second before meeting her gaze again. She held her breath, unsure of what to do, her mind swirling with thoughts she couldn’t quite put into words.
Seungmin leaned forward slightly, just enough for Y/N to feel the heat from his body. His breath brushed against her cheek, sending a shiver down her spine. Her heart thudded in her chest, the anticipation thick in the air.
“Y/N,” he murmured, his voice low and almost a whisper. “I…”
Before he could finish, Y/N’s eyes flickered to his lips again, and that was all the invitation Seungmin needed.
Without thinking, he closed the distance between them. His lips brushed against hers in a soft, tentative kiss. It was light, almost hesitant, but the moment their lips met, it felt like the world had shifted.
Y/N’s breath caught in her throat, her hand reaching up to rest against his chest. Her heart pounded in her chest as Seungmin deepened the kiss, his hands gently cupping her face. Everything else faded away—the fight, the tension, the complicated emotions swirling around them.
It was just them now.
Y/N pulled away first, her face flushed with heat, her breath shaky. She stared at Seungmin, her heart still racing as the weight of what had just happened sank in.
“Seungmin,” she whispered, her voice barely audible, as she tried to steady herself. “What are we doing?”
His forehead rested against hers, his hands still gently holding her face. His breath was heavy, matching her own, and for a long moment, neither of them spoke. The only sound was the thumping of their hearts, beating in sync.
“I don’t know,” Seungmin whispered back, his voice thick with emotion. “But I can’t stop… I don’t want to stop.”
Y/N felt the tension between them pull tighter, the air around them crackling with intensity. There was no going back now, but as much as she wanted to give in, she couldn’t shake the feeling that something was about to change. Something that might tear them apart.
But in that moment, with his lips hovering just inches from hers, she couldn’t bring herself to care about anything else.
The following day, the weight of everything that had happened the day before lingered heavily on Y/N’s mind. The kiss with Seungmin the one that had caught her completely off guardwas still on her lips, like a taste she couldn’t quite shake off. But today, she needed to focus. She wasn’t about to let one moment complicate things more than it already had. She couldn’t.
But then, there was Lee Know.
She tried not to notice the way his eyes followed her every move, the subtle way he lingered at the edges of her vision. He was always around. It made her uncomfortable and yet… something about it tugged at her in a way she couldn’t fully understand.
Seungmin, on the other hand, had been quieter today. Y/N caught him stealing glances at her in between classes, but the energy between them felt different unsure, like the weight of their unspoken feelings hung between them, thick and heavy. She liked him. She definitely did. But something inside her was still unsure. She couldn’t help but feel like there was something she was missing.
It wasn’t just about Seungmin. Lee Know had been in the background, too, his presence so constant it was impossible to ignore. But there was nothing she could do about that, right? He had always been a little mysterious, a little aloof. And she didn’t need more complication in her life right now.
The school day dragged on, the hours stretching into what felt like an eternity. As the final bell rang, Y/N grabbed her bag and headed for the doors, ready to meet Seungmin outside. She had promised him they’d hang out. Just the two of them.
But as she walked through the crowded hallway, she couldn’t help but notice that all the noise seemed to fade away, and all she could hear was the rhythmic beat of her heart in her chest. The feeling of someone watching her sent a shiver down her spine. She turned slightly, her heart skipping a beat.
There he was.
Lee Know was standing at the end of the hallway, leaning casually against the lockers, his eyes locked onto hers. His usual teasing smirk was absent, replaced by a steady, unreadable gaze. Y/N felt her pulse quicken despite herself. She told herself it was nothing, that it was just Lee Know being his usual self.
But there was something different today.
Before she could look away, Lee Know pushed himself off the lockers and started walking toward her. He moved with a purposeful calm, and each step seemed to slow down the world around them.
Y/N’s hand tightened around the strap of her bag. She was supposed to be meeting Seungmin—why did Lee Know always have a way of pulling her in? She could feel the tension building in the pit of her stomach as he got closer.
She tried to ignore it, tried to focus on the fact that she was meeting Seungmin, but Lee Know’s voice cut through her thoughts.
“Y/N,” his voice was low and smooth, and it stopped her in her tracks.
She turned toward him, trying to keep her expression neutral. “Lee Know, what’s up?”
He stopped right in front of her, so close she could feel the warmth radiating off his body. His eyes were intense, fixed firmly on her, but his expression remained unreadable. There was a flicker of something there, something deeper than just his usual teasing.
“Can I talk to you for a second?” His voice was quieter now, more serious than she’d ever heard it.
Y/N opened her mouth to respond, but before she could, she felt the familiar hand on her shoulder. Seungmin’s face appeared in her line of sight, confusion written all over it.
“Y/N, are you ready to go?” Seungmin asked, his gaze flickering between her and Lee Know.
Y/N hesitated, her mind racing. She wanted to spend time with Seungmin, but the way Lee Know was looking at her now… it was different. She could feel the unspoken challenge in the air. She could feel the pull between them, an almost magnetic force.
Lee Know didn’t look at Seungmin. He didn’t acknowledge him at all. His eyes stayed focused on Y/N, unwavering.
“You know I was just about to head out with Seungmin, right?” Y/N tried to keep her tone light, even though she could feel her heart beating faster.
“I know,” Lee Know replied, his voice oddly calm. “But this won’t take long. I just need a minute with you.”
Y/N glanced at Seungmin, but his face was hard to read, his expression tight. He wasn’t looking at her anymore, his attention focused solely on Lee Know.
“Seungmin, it’s okay,” Y/N said softly, trying to smooth over the tension. “I’ll be right back.”
Seungmin nodded, but his jaw was clenched, his eyes still wary as Y/N was gently led away by Lee Know down the hallway.
Y/N felt a sudden chill run down her spine as Lee Know guided her toward an empty classroom. The air felt heavier, charged with something that made her stomach tighten. Her mind racedwhat was he going to say? Why was he acting like this?
Lee Know opened the door, and Y/N stepped inside before him. She didn’t have a chance to ask what was going on before the door shut behind them with a soft click. She turned, about to speak, but the words stuck in her throat when she saw the way Lee Know was looking at her. His eyes were darker now, his posture rigid, and there was no trace of the usual playful demeanor. He was all business now.
“Lee Know, what’s going on?” Y/N asked, her voice barely above a whisper, her heart pounding.
He didn’t answer right away, only closed the space between them with deliberate steps. His gaze never left her face, and it made her feel exposed, like he could see right through her. The tension in the room was thick, suffocating.
“Why do you always let him have you?” Lee Know’s voice was low, almost dangerous, as he spoke. There was an edge to it, a frustration that had been building for too long.
Y/N blinked, not sure how to respond. “What do you mean?”
Lee Know let out a sharp breath, his eyes flashing with something unreadable. “You know exactly what I mean. The way you look at him. The way you let him get under your skin. It’s so… obvious.”
Y/N felt a rush of heat spread across her chest, her mind scrambling to keep up with his words. “I don’t Lee Know, I don’t understand. Seungmin is just my friend.”
Lee Know’s lips curled into a smirk, but it wasn’t playful. It was bitter. “Is that what you tell yourself?”
Her pulse quickened as he took another step closer. “I told you, it’s not like that between us.”
“I don’t buy it.” Lee Know’s voice was steady, but there was an undeniable fire in his words. “You think you can have him and have me too? That you can keep playing this game?”
Y/N’s breath hitched as his face came dangerously close to hers. Her heart thudded erratically in her chest. “What do you want from me?” she whispered, her voice barely a breath.
Lee Know’s eyes softened for a split second, and in that moment, she saw the intensity of what he was feeling something raw, something desperate.
“I want you to see me,” he said quietly, almost like a confession. “I want you to see what I’ve been trying to show you this whole time.”
Y/N’s heart raced as the tension between them built to an almost unbearable level. She was frozen, unsure of what was happening, of what he wanted. But she couldn’t deny that the pull between them was undeniable. The words hung in the air like a silent promise, and for a moment, she couldn’t breathe.
Y/N’s pulse was hammering in her ears as she stood there, locked in the classroom with Lee Know. The space between them seemed to shrink with every breath she took. She tried to gather her thoughts, but all she could focus on was the intensity in his eyes, the way he was standing so close, his presence overwhelming in the small, empty room.
“Lee Know, I…” Y/N began, her voice shaky. She wasn’t sure what she wanted to say, but there were so many emotions bubbling up inside herconfusion, frustration, and something else she couldn’t quite place.
He watched her, silent and still, his gaze never leaving hers. “What is it, Y/N?” His voice was calm, but there was an edge to it, like he was waiting for her to say something that would make this whole thing make sense.
Y/N swallowed hard, her breath coming faster as she looked up at him. “I don’t understand,” she said, her voice barely above a whisper. “Why are you doing this? Why are you pulling me away from Seungmin like this?”
Lee Know’s expression softened for a brief moment, but his gaze was still intense, searching her face like he was trying to read her every thought. He took another step closer, closing the distance between them even more. She could feel his breath on her skin now, each exhale a reminder of how close they were.
“Because you don’t see it, Y/N,” he said quietly, his tone suddenly vulnerable. “You don’t see me. You never have.”
Y/N’s heart skipped a beat, and she took a small step back, but there was nowhere to go. The classroom felt smaller with every passing second, the walls closing in on her as Lee Know continued to advance. Her mind was racing, her thoughts a whirlwind of confusion and conflicting emotions. Why was this happening? Why was it so hard to breathe?
“You’re not just a friend to me,” Lee Know said, his voice almost a whisper now. “You never were. And I’ve tried to show you, in every way I could, but you always ran back to Seungmin.”
Y/N opened her mouth to respond, but the words wouldn’t come. She wanted to say something, anything, to make sense of this, but nothing felt right. Her heart was telling her one thing, but her mind was still tangled in knots.
“You don’t understand,” she finally managed to say, her voice breaking slightly. “I never wanted to hurt you. But… Seungmin… he’s my friend. I don’t know how to—”
Lee Know cut her off, his voice suddenly fierce, intense. “You think I don’t understand? You think I don’t know how much he means to you?” His eyes burned with frustration, but there was something else there too something darker, something desperate. “I’ve seen the way you look at him. But why does it always have to be him, Y/N? Why can’t it be me?”
Y/N felt a rush of heat spread across her chest, her mind racing to make sense of his words. She could feel her pulse pounding in her throat, and her breath was coming in shallow gasps. She wanted to step back, to put distance between them, but her body betrayed her. She couldn’t move.
His face was inches from hers now, his hands resting at his sides, fists clenched, as though he was holding himself back. But she could see the way his jaw tightened, the way his eyes flickered down to her lips, and she knew.
He wanted this.
She wanted this too.
And yet, the tension was suffocating. The silence between them stretched out, thick and heavy, until it felt like the air itself was crackling with something dangerous.
“Lee Know,” she whispered, barely able to breathe, “what are you doing?”
He didn’t answer. Instead, he reached out, his fingers brushing gently against her arm. The simple touch sent a jolt of electricity through her body, and she instinctively stepped closer, drawn to him in a way she couldn’t deny.
His hand cupped her face, his thumb brushing gently over her cheek, and she closed her eyes, the sensation overwhelming.
“Y/N…” His voice was soft, pleading, as if he was waiting for her to give him permission. “Please…”
And then, without another word, he leaned in, closing the final gap between them.
Her heart stopped in her chest as his lips brushed against hers, tentative at first, like he was testing the waters. But the moment their lips met, the floodgates opened. All the tension, all the unspoken words, the emotions that had been building between them for weeksthey were released in that one moment.
His hand slid to the back of her neck, pulling her closer as the kiss deepened. Y/N’s mind went blank. She couldn’t think, couldn’t focus on anything except the feeling of him so close, so warm, his lips moving against hers with an urgency that matched her own.
For the first time, the confusion, the tension, the fear it all melted away. There was only Lee Know. Only the way he made her feel.
When they finally pulled away, both of them were breathless, their foreheads resting together as they tried to steady their breathing. Y/N’s chest rose and fell rapidly, her heart still racing in her ears.
Lee Know’s hand was still gently cupping her face, and for a moment, neither of them spoke.
“I don’t want to be just another guy to you, Y/N,” Lee Know murmured, his voice hoarse. “I want to be the one you choose. The one you see.”
Y/N felt a rush of conflicting emotions swirl inside her. She had never felt so exposed, so vulnerable. And yet, there was something about being with him in this moment that made everything else fade away.
“I…” Y/N started, but the words stuck in her throat. She wanted to say something, but she didn’t know what. She was caught between the pull of her feelings for Seungmin and the overwhelming intensity of what she felt for Lee Know.
He pressed a soft kiss to her forehead, his lips lingering for a moment longer than necessary. “Take your time, Y/N,” he said softly. “But don’t keep running from me.”
Y/N stood there, her mind racing, trying to process what had just happened. She had never expected this never imagined she’d be caught in the middle of such a storm. But here she was, with Lee Know standing so close, his presence impossible to ignore.
Lee Know pressed his forehead to hers, his breath still shallow as they lingered in the moment. He leaned in again, his lips meeting hers with more urgency this time, as though he couldn’t wait any longer. His hands slid to her waist, pulling her closer, the heat between them intensifying. The air between them was thick, charged with everything they’d both been holding back.
As he kisses her he moves her up onto the desk.his hands roaming her body.
While kissing her hungrily, his tongue exploring her mouth with an insistent need. His hands roamed over her body, pulling her closer as he deepened the kiss. He could feel the heat of her skin through her clothes, and it only fueled his desire.
He then steps between her legs as he pressed his body against hers. His hands moved to her thighs, tracing small circles against her skin as he continued to kiss her, his lips moving down to her neck.
He nipped and sucked at the sensitive skin, marking her as his own.
"Minho..." Y/N gasped, her voice laced with desire.
He pulled back, his eyes dark with lust as he looked at her. "You're so pretty" he growled, his hands gripping her hips.
He leaned in to capture her lips again, this time more forcefully but gentle making sure not to hurt her. He was claiming her.
He began to kiss down her neck, his lips and teeth leaving a trail of marks in their wake. He wanted everyone to know that she was his, that he had claimed her body and soul.
Y/N could feel his arousal pressing against her, a reminder of how much he wanted her. She moaned softly, her body arching into his touch.
In this moment she forgets seungmin is waiting for her outside.
Lee Know's hands moved to the waistband of her pants, his fingers hooking under the fabric as he began to tug them down. He pulled them off in one swift motion, tossing them aside without a care.
He then turned his attention to his own pants, quickly undoing his belt and unbuttoning his jeans. He pushed them down just enough to free himself, his hardness pressing against her through his boxers.
He let out a low groan as he pressed himself against her, the thin layer of fabric between them doing little to dull the sensation. "You feel so good," he murmured, his voice rough with need.
"Please, Minho..." Y/N begged, her body trembling with anticipation.
He chuckled darkly, enjoying the effect he had on her. "Please what, baby?" he asked, his lips brushing against her ear.
She could feel his hot breath against her skin, sending shivers down her spine. "I need you," she whispered, her hands clutching at his shirt.
He smirked, his hands roaming over her body as he teased her. "You're so desperate for me," he said, his voice low and husky. "I am too so of course~"
Lee Know's fingers slid under the waistband of her underwear, slowly peeling them down her legs. He tossed them aside as well, his eyes dark with desire as he took in the sight of her bare before him.
He positioned himself at her entrance, his body tense with anticipation. He teased her for a moment, running the tip of his cock along her slick folds, making her whimper with need.
"You're so wet for me," he growled, his voice thick with lust. "So ready for me to take you."
He couldn't wait any longer. He pushed into her, groaning as her tight heat enveloped him. "Fuck," he hissed, his hands gripping her hips tightly.
Y/N moans quiet, her back arching as he filled her completely. She wrapped her legs around his waist, pulling him deeper inside her.
He began to move, his thrusts slow and deliberate at first. He wanted to savor the feeling of being inside her, the way her body clenched around him.
"You feel so good," he repeated, his voice strained with pleasure. "So perfect for me."
Lee Know picked up the pace, his hips slamming into her with a relentless force. The desk creaked beneath them, the sound echoing through the empty classroom.
Y/N was lost in a haze of pleasure, her moans growing louder with each thrust. She couldn't control the sounds that escaped her lips, her body too overwhelmed by the sensations coursing through her. She bites her lip to muffle it.
"That's it, baby," he encouraged, his voice rough with need. "Let me hear you."
He leaned down, capturing one of her nipples between his teeth as he continued to pound into her. She cried out at the sensation, her nails digging into his back as she clung to him desperately.
Lee Know's pace became frantic, his need for release taking over. He could feel his own climax building, the tension coiling tightly in his gut.
He shifted slightly, angling his hips to hit that sweet spot inside her that made her scream. And scream she did, her body arching off the desk as pleasure coursed through her.
"I'm close," he grunted, his breath hot against her skin. "Cum for me, y/n. I want to feel you come undone around me."
Lee Know's movements became more erratic, his body tense as he chased his release. He could feel her walls fluttering around him, a sure sign that she was close.
his voice ragged. "Let go for me."
He continued to thrust into her, pushing her closer and closer to the edge. Just as he felt her walls clench tightly around him, he pulled out, spilling himself on her stomach with a strangled groan.
After that and they got dressed and Lee know made sure she was okay. But then y/n remembers seungmin is waiting for her.
Y/N quickly fixed her pants, her heart racing as she glanced at Lee Know, who was pulling his shirt back over his head. The silence between them was heavy, but neither of them dared to break it. She didn’t even want to look at him—not because of regret, but because she wasn’t ready to face what had just happened.
“Y/N,” Lee Know said softly, his voice tentative. He was standing there, watching her, his eyes full of questions he wasn’t sure he should ask.
But Y/N shook her head quickly, brushing her hair out of her face as she grabbed her bag from the desk. “Don’t,” she said quietly, her voice steady despite the storm of emotions inside her. “We can’t… talk about this. Not now.”
Lee Know frowned, his jaw tightening as he took a step closer. “So, what? You’re just going to pretend this didn’t happen?”
She hesitated for a moment, her hand gripping the strap of her bag so tightly her knuckles turned white. “I have to go,” she said, sidestepping him and heading for the door. She felt his gaze on her the entire time, burning into her back, but she didn’t turn around. She couldn’t.
Her mind was spinning as she stepped into the hallway, quickly smoothing down her clothes and forcing her expression to stay neutral. She couldn’t let anyone see that something had changed, that everything had changed.
The moment she saw Seungmin waiting for her near the lockers, her heart twisted painfully in her chest. He smiled at her, his easy, familiar smile, and it felt like a punch to the gut. Forcing a smile of her own, she walked toward him as though nothing had happened, as though she wasn’t still feeling Lee Know’s touch on her skin.
“Hey,” Seungmin greeted her, his voice warm. “You’re late. What took you so long?”
“Got caught up talking to a teacher,” she lied effortlessly, her voice light and casual. She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, willing herself to act normal. “Sorry about that.”
Seungmin shrugged, slinging his bag over his shoulder. “No worries. Ready to head out?”
“Yeah,” Y/N said, nodding quickly. She fell into step beside him, the weight of what had just happened pressing heavily on her chest. But she pushed it down, burying it deep where it couldn’t surface. Not now. Not when Seungmin was looking at her like that, so oblivious to the storm raging inside her.
As they walked down the hallway together, she couldn’t help but glance over her shoulder. Lee Know was still standing by the classroom door, his expression unreadable, his eyes locked on her.
Y/N quickly turned back, her heart pounding. She couldn’t think about him. She couldn’t think about any of it. Not now.
The next day it’s the weekend.
Y/N lay in bed, staring at the ceiling as sunlight filtered through her curtains, painting faint patterns across her room. The weekend had arrived, yet it didn’t bring the peace she had hoped for. Instead, her mind was a battlefield, torn between two faces—two sets of eyes that seemed to haunt her every thought.
Lee Know. Seungmin.
She turned onto her side, clutching her pillow tightly as if it could somehow absorb the chaos swirling in her chest. Her heart was a mess of contradictions. When she thought of Seungmin, she felt warmth, comfort, and familiarity—memories of laughter, long talks, and the easy rhythm they had built together over the years.
But then, there was Lee Know. The memory of his touch, the intensity of his gaze, the way his voice sent shivers down her spine. He was raw, overwhelming, and impossible to ignore. Being with him had felt like stepping into a storm—terrifying yet exhilarating.
Y/N groaned, burying her face in the pillow. “What am I doing?” she muttered to herself, her voice muffled.
She had always prided herself on being logical, practical. But now, logic had deserted her entirely. How had she gotten to this point? How had everything become so tangled?
Her phone buzzed on the nightstand, and she reached for it hesitantly, her heart skipping a beat when she saw Seungmin’s name on the screen.
Seungmin: Morning! Want to grab lunch later?
Y/N’s fingers hovered over the keyboard as she hesitated, her mind instantly flashing back to Lee Know’s face—the way he had looked at her after everything that had happened. She hadn’t heard from him since, and the silence was unnerving. Did he regret it? Did she?
Before she could answer Seungmin, another buzz made her jump. This time, it was a message from Lee Know.
Lee Know: We need to talk.
Her breath caught in her throat, and she sat up, her heart racing. She stared at the two messages, the weight of them pressing down on her like a tidal wave.
Two boys. Two choices. And no idea which path would lead to happiness—or heartbreak.
Y/N set the phone down without responding to either of them. She needed time to think, to figure out what she truly wanted. But the more she thought about it, the more trapped she felt, like she was caught in a web she couldn’t escape.
She got out of bed and padded to the window, looking out at the quiet street below. Everything looked so normal, so simple, and yet her world was anything but.
“Why can’t this be easy?” she whispered to herself.
But deep down, she knew the answer. It wasn’t easy because both Seungmin and Lee Know meant something to her. And no matter what she chose, someone was going to get hurt.
As she stood there, staring out at the world that seemed so indifferent to her turmoil, one thought echoed in her mind
She couldn’t avoid them forever
For days, Y/N had done everything she could to avoid them both. Ignoring texts, dodging calls, and even changing her usual routes to class or around town. She thought that putting distance between them would make things clearer, give her the space to figure out what her heart truly wanted.
But all it had done was amplify the confusion.
The weight of it was unbearable—two people she cared about deeply, and no idea how to make a choice without breaking someone’s heart, maybe even her own.
It was late afternoon when she found herself walking aimlessly through the park near her house, the crisp air carrying the scent of autumn leaves. She hadn’t planned on being here, but her feet had brought her to the spot where she, Seungmin, and Lee Know had often hung out together.
Fate, it seemed, wasn’t done with her yet.
When she looked up, her breath hitched. Both of them were there. Seungmin stood by the swings, his hands in his pockets, his expression unreadable. Lee Know was leaning against a tree nearby, arms crossed, his jaw tight.
They hadn’t come together; that much was obvious from the tension crackling in the air between them. But somehow, they were both here now, and their eyes were fixed on her.
Y/N froze, her heart pounding as panic surged through her. She hadn’t prepared for this for seeing them both at the same time, let alone having to face the storm she had been avoiding.
“Y/N,” Seungmin was the first to speak, his voice steady but edged with frustration. “We need to talk.”
Lee Know pushed off the tree, his dark eyes never leaving hers. “Yeah, I think it’s about time.”
She swallowed hard, looking between them. “I… I don’t know what to say.”
“Well, you can start by explaining why you’ve been avoiding us,” Seungmin said, his tone sharper now. “You’ve been acting like we don’t exist, and I think we both deserve better than that.”
“I wasn’t trying to hurt you,” Y/N said quickly, her voice wavering. “I just needed time to think.”
“Think about what?” Lee Know pressed, stepping closer. “You’ve had days, Y/N. Days to figure out how you feel. And yet, here we are. Still waiting.”
Her stomach twisted as she looked at them two faces she cared about, both looking at her with such intensity that it was hard to breathe. “It’s not that simple,” she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
“It is simple,” Seungmin said, his frustration bubbling to the surface. “You can’t keep us both in limbo like this. It’s not fair.”
Lee Know nodded, his gaze unwavering. “He’s right. You have to decide, Y/N. Do you want him or me?”
The question hung in the air, heavy and suffocating. She took a shaky step back, feeling like the ground beneath her was crumbling.
“I don’t… I don’t know,” she admitted, her voice breaking. “I care about both of you. I don’t want to hurt either of you.”
“That’s not good enough,” Lee Know said, his voice low but firm. “We’ve both been patient, but we can’t keep doing this. You have to choose.”
Seungmin’s eyes softened for a moment, but his tone remained steady. “We’re not asking you to make a decision lightly. But you need to be honestwith us and with yourself.”
Y/N felt tears prickling at the corners of her eyes as she looked between them. Her heart was a whirlwind of emotions guilt, fear, longing, and love. But as much as she wanted to keep them both close, she knew they were right. She couldn’t keep running from this.
Her voice trembled as she finally said, “I just need more time.”
Lee Know’s jaw tightened, and he glanced at Seungmin before looking back at her. “You’ve had time, Y/N. How much more do you need?”
Seungmin exhaled sharply, running a hand through his hair. “If you need more time, fine. But you can’t avoid us anymore. Figure it out, Y/N. And soon.”
With that, he turned and walked away, his hands shoved deep into his pockets.
Lee Know stayed for a moment longer, his gaze piercing. “I hope you make the right choice,” he said softly before following Seungmin, leaving her standing there alone.
Y/N sank onto the nearest bench, her head in her hands. The clock was ticking, and no matter how much she wished for clarity, she knew that the answer wouldn’t come easily.
It had been days since the confrontation at the park, and neither Seungmin nor Lee Know had spoken to Y/N. She had sent a few hesitant texts to each of them, but their responses were short and distant, leaving her even more unsure of where she stood with them.
Unbeknownst to her, Lee Know and Seungmin were dealing with the situation in their own way. The tension between them had been simmering for weeks, and it was finally about to boil over.
They met at a quiet café near the edge of town, a place they knew would be empty enough for them to talk without interruptions. Lee Know was already seated at a corner table when Seungmin walked in, his usual calm demeanor replaced with something colder, more guarded.
Seungmin sat down across from him, folding his arms. “So, what’s this about?”
Lee Know leaned back in his chair, his expression unreadable. “We need to talk about Y/N.”
Seungmin’s jaw tightened. “I think we’ve talked enough, don’t you?”
“Not like this,” Lee Know replied, his voice steady but firm. “Look, we’ve both made it pretty clear how we feel about her. And we both know she’s struggling to choose between us.”
Seungmin’s lips pressed into a thin line, but he didn’t respond.
Lee Know leaned forward, his gaze unwavering. “I don’t want to keep fighting with you, Seungmin. And I don’t want to hurt Y/N by forcing her to make a decision she’s not ready for.”
“So, what’s your solution?” Seungmin asked, his tone skeptical.
Lee Know hesitated for a moment before saying, “We share her.”
Seungmin blinked, caught off guard by the suggestion. “What?”
“You heard me,” Lee Know said, his voice calm but determined. “We stop making this a competition. We let her decide how she wants to split her time between us. No more fighting, no more pressuring her.”
“That’s insane,” Seungmin said, shaking his head. “How is that supposed to work?”
“I don’t know,” Lee Know admitted. “But it’s better than what we’re doing now. And it’s better than making her choose and risking losing her altogether.”
Seungmin leaned back in his chair, his arms still crossed as he considered the idea. It went against everything he had been feeling the jealousy, the possessiveness but a part of him couldn’t deny that Lee Know had a point.
“She might not even agree to it,” Seungmin said after a long pause.
“That’s up to her,” Lee Know replied. “But if we’re both serious about wanting her in our lives, then we need to at least try.”
Seungmin sighed, running a hand through his hair. “I still think this is crazy. But… I’ll agree, for her sake. If she’s okay with it.”
Lee Know nodded, a small sense of relief washing over him. “Good. Then we’ll talk to her together.”
Seungmin gave him a wary look. “Just so we’re clear, this doesn’t mean I’m okay with you being with her. I’m only doing this because I don’t want to hurt her.”
“Same here,” Lee Know said. “This isn’t about us. It’s about her.”
With that, an uneasy truce was formed. But as they left the café, both of them knew that the path ahead wouldn’t be easy for any of them.
It was late afternoon when Y/N received the text message that left her staring at her phone, her pulse racing.
Seungmin: Meet us at the park near the swings. We need to talk.
The “us” caught her off guard. She didn’t need to ask who he meant she knew both Seungmin and Lee Know would be there.
Her stomach churned as she walked to the park, a thousand questions and scenarios racing through her mind. What could they possibly want to say together? The tension between the three of them had reached a breaking point, and she had no idea how this would go.
When she arrived, they were already there. Seungmin was sitting on one of the swings, his expression neutral but his shoulders tense. Lee Know stood a few feet away, leaning against the frame of the swing set with his arms crossed.
“Y/N,” Seungmin said as she approached. His voice was calm, but there was a seriousness to it that made her chest tighten.
“Hey,” she said softly, looking between them. “What’s going on?”
Lee Know straightened, stepping closer. “We’ve been talking, and we think it’s time we figure out where we all stand.”
Her heart sank. “I… I’m still not ready to choose,” she admitted, her voice barely above a whisper.
“We know,” Seungmin said, his tone gentle. “That’s why we’ve come up with a different idea.”
Y/N frowned, her gaze darting between them. “What do you mean?”
Lee Know glanced at Seungmin before speaking. “We’ve decided to stop pressuring you to choose between us. Instead… we’re willing to share.”
She blinked, sure she had misheard. “What?”
“We’re giving you the choice to spend time with both of us,” Seungmin explained. “No more arguments, no more fighting. You don’t have to feel like you’re stuck in the middle.”
Y/N stared at them, her mind reeling. “You’re serious?”
Lee Know nodded. “We talked about it. And while it’s not ideal for either of us, it’s better than making you feel like you’re being torn apart.”
Her breath caught as she processed their words. She couldn’t deny that part of her felt relieved they were giving her space to figure things out without the added pressure of making an immediate decision. But another part of her felt uneasy.
“What if this doesn’t work?” she asked hesitantly.
Seungmin’s expression softened. “Then we deal with it when the time comes. But we think it’s worth trying, for your sake.”
Y/N looked down at the ground, her emotions swirling. She had never imagined this kind of arrangement, but knowing they were willing to put aside their rivalry for her made her chest ache with a strange mix of gratitude and guilt.
“I… I don’t know what to say,” she admitted.
“You don’t have to say anything right now,” Lee Know said, his voice gentler than she had ever heard it. “Just think about it. We’ll give you the time and space you need.”
She nodded, still unsure how to feel. “Okay. I’ll think about it.”
Seungmin gave her a small smile. “That’s all we’re asking.”
Lee Know stepped closer, his gaze locking with hers. “Just know that we both care about you, Y/N. And we’re willing to do whatever it takes to make this work.”
Her heart clenched at the sincerity in his voice, and for a moment, she felt the weight of their emotions pressing down on her.
As they walked her home that evening, the uneasy truce between them held. But Y/N couldn’t help wondering how long it would last and what it would mean for all of them moving forward.
The next morning, Y/N woke up with a headache. Sleep had been elusive, her mind consumed by the conversation with Seungmin and Lee Know. Their proposal played over and over in her head like a looping film.
Share them?
The idea felt surreal, almost absurd. But the more she thought about it, the more sense it made. She cared deeply for both of them—she couldn’t deny that. Seungmin had been her rock for years, a constant in her life who knew her inside and out. And then there was Lee Know, who had quietly slipped into her heart with his relentless devotion and tender moments.
She groaned, rolling over in bed and staring at the ceiling. This wasn’t how love was supposed to work. Love was supposed to be simple—two people, one connection. But somehow, her heart had made room for both of them, and now she was faced with a choice she wasn’t ready to make.
By noon, she was pacing her room, her mind a whirlwind of thoughts. The idea of seeing them both, of not having to make an immediate decision, felt like a lifeline. But it also felt like walking a tightrope, one wrong step away from disaster.
Her phone buzzed on the desk, breaking her thoughts. She hesitated before picking it up, her breath catching when she saw the message.
Seungmin: No pressure, but have you thought about what we talked about?
Almost immediately, another message popped up.
Lee Know: Hey, just checking in. Hope you’re doing okay.
Y/N stared at the messages, her chest tightening. They were giving her space, just as they had promised, but she could feel their emotions lingering between the lines.
Taking a deep breath, she typed out a reply.
Y/N: Can we meet at the park? I’ve made my decision.
Her heart pounded as she hit send, the weight of her choice sinking in.
An hour later, she stood by the swings, waiting for them. The crisp autumn air nipped at her cheeks, but she barely felt it, her nerves keeping her warm.
Seungmin arrived first, his expression calm but his eyes searching hers. Lee Know appeared moments later, his usual confidence softened by what looked like worry.
“So?” Seungmin asked gently, breaking the silence. “What’s your decision?”
Y/N took a deep breath, her hands gripping the hem of her sweater. “I’ve been thinking a lot about what you both said. And… I want to try this. Sharing time with both of you.”
Lee Know blinked, his lips parting slightly in surprise. Seungmin raised an eyebrow, his expression unreadable.
“I know it’s not conventional,” Y/N continued quickly, her words tumbling out. “But I care about both of you, and I don’t want to hurt either of you. This… this feels like the only way to figure things out without losing someone I love.”
There was a beat of silence before Lee Know’s lips curved into a small smile. “So, you’re saying you want both of us?”
“Don’t make it weird,” Y/N said, her cheeks flushing.
Seungmin chuckled softly, shaking his head. “It’s definitely weird, but… if this is what you want, I’ll try.”
Lee Know nodded, his gaze softening. “Same. For you, I’ll try.”
Relief washed over her, and for the first time in days, she felt like she could breathe again.
“Thank you,” she said quietly, looking between them. “Both of you.”
As the three of them walked away from the swings together, Y/N couldn’t help but feel a strange sense of hope. It wasn’t the perfect solution, but it was theirs.
And for now, that was enough.
She kisses them both on the cheek and they both smile and blush.
Weeks passed, and to Y/N’s surprise, the unconventional arrangement began to work. She had worried endlessly about how Seungmin and Lee Know would manage to coexist, let alone get along, but the two of them had exceeded her expectations.
At first, there were small gestures of compromise. Seungmin stopped throwing passive aggressive remarks Lee Know’s way, and Lee Know refrained from his usual smug grins whenever Y/N chose to spend time with him. They had even started talking short conversations at first, usually about her, but over time, their interactions grew less tense and more natural.
The three of them developed an great relationship . Y/N divided her time evenly, and both boys respected the boundaries they’d set. What surprised her most was how much Seungmin and Lee Know seemed to enjoy each other’s company when they weren’t focused on her.
One sunny afternoon, the three of them were at the park, sprawled out on a large picnic blanket under the shade of a tree. Y/N had brought sandwiches and snacks, and the boys had brought their usual banter.
“Okay, but you have to admit, my dog is better trained than your cat.” Seungmin said, smirking at Lee Know as he reached for a bag of chips.
“Better trained?” Lee Know scoffed. “Your dog couldn’t even sit still when we went to the café last week. Dori would never embarrass me like that.”
Y/N laughed, watching them bicker. It was strange how normal this had become sitting between them, watching their playful arguments, feeling the peace that had settled over their dynamic.
“She’s probably sick of us talking about pets,” Seungmin said, turning to Y/N with a teasing smile. “Right?”
“Not at all,” she said, grinning. “I’m just waiting to see who wins.”
“It’s obviously me,” Lee Know said confidently, leaning back on his hands. “Dori is a model citizen.”
“Keep telling yourself that,” Seungmin replied with a chuckle.
As the afternoon went on, Y/N found herself marveling at how far they had come. A month ago, the idea of Seungmin and Lee Know sharing anything, let alone a girlfriend, would have been laughable. But now, they were sitting side by side, teasing each other like old friends.
Later, as they walked back to her house, Seungmin and Lee Know fell into a discussion about soccer, their voices animated as they debated the skills of different players. Y/N trailed behind them, her heart swelling at the sight.
For the first time in weeks, she felt like everything was exactly as it should be.
IT’S YOU | HC/DB
myung jaehyun x m!reader
fluff + idol!au + established relationship + sfw (wow) + 7th!member reader
a/n; i saw him once and spiraled down the bnd hole. why is he just so shufjfdhshhd.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
dating him means having no self restraint
he doesn’t make it easy either, he likes to mess with you
playfully makes you jealous
he doesn’t order you around because he’s the leader: he orders you around because you’re so wrapped around his finger you’ll do it with no hesitation
”i need you guys to copy my move today, no backing out,” jaehyun announces with a mischievous grin.
“oh what will you make us do now?” leehan groans.
you simply smile, because fulfilling whatever your dear leader wants is something you’re willing to fulfill every time. seeing his adorable smile is everything you need to survive. he’s just so-
“y/n you’re squeezing too hard!” he whines as you pinch his cheeks.
“mm well who’s fault is it for being so cute?”
“ew,” dongmin gags playfully.
“jealous prick,” you playfully hit taesan’s arm as he walks past.
having taken advantage of you letting you to hit taesan, jaehyun runs off complaining about how he’ll look puffier.
he’s not insecure but he does show signs of discomfort in his own skin sometimes but you always make him feel better without being told how he feels
he always seeks you out just how he is with woonhak
he LOVES physical touch, could you not tell?
always holding your hand or hooking his arm with yours when walking next to you
LOVES IT when you give him piggy back rides
sometimes while all of you are getting touch ups, he’d be sitting on your lap and both your stylist and his have to deal with it
he didn’t like to be all over you like that before
you make him NERVOUS most of the time despite how shameless he is
will STARE YOU DOWN for a kiss because he literally gets gushy to ask for it
the two of you would be laying down on his bed, him cuddled into you. your phone is somewhere in the bedsheets, your cheek is rested on his head and your eyes stare at his phone as he scrolls through social media apps. one of your arms is under him, wrapped around to where your hand is above his hip.
he seems like he’s scrolling mindlessly, but he’s hyper focused on the way your fingers mess with the hem of his hoodie, raising it a bit and your fingertips grazing his skin.
“you’re zoning out,” you accuse when the same video repeats a third time.
“i am not, i was just trying to understand the video.” he argues, moving his head to look up at you.
“what is there to understand?” you chuckle, tilting your head to look at his pout, “the guy gets hit with a water ballon.”
“shut up,” he huffs, glaring at you, but you know better.
“yah, just say you want something,” you tease, leaning in to touch the tip of his nose with yours.
jaehyun makes a face before looking down at your lips. the tips of his ears are reddened, you grin.
“want a kiss?”
he nods, still not looking at you. you bring your hand out from the back of your head, shifting to a different position to lean in well. your free hand grabs his chin and tilts it up. your lips capture his in a soft kiss, you smile when he relaxes.
“next time don’t even ask baby,” you tease as you peck his lips again.
jaehyun huffs, trying to scoot away but your hand grips his waist and keeps him in place.
constant sleepovers
the two of you have different dorms but he still comes into your room and stays the night
that’s IF he’s not in the studio
“i brought you food,” you announce as you go inside the room he’s been cooped up in for the past five hours.
“i already ate-“
“when?” you huff, setting the food on the table behind him, “in the morning? it’s five pm.”
he makes a face, “i was thinking of doing a diet-“
“for what?” you cross your arms.
he stares at you before looking at the food.”i can start tomorrow-“
“or never.” you take out the food and assort it over the table, “come on, let’s eat.”
jaehyun makes a small noise of complaint before getting out of his chair and coming over to you. he sits next to you and patiently waits as you take out the utensils from their packaging. there’s an innocent look on his face, one you recognize very well the second you look at him. he tilts his head and smiles.
“fine, i’ll feed you,” you sigh as you pick up meat from his bowl and guide it to his mouth.
you can’t help but attack him with kisses while he munches down his food. he gives you cuteness aggression so bad, especially when he does his little dance when taking the first bite of food.
both of you work out so good because both your love languages include kisses
when he gets really excited or happy around you he does the same thing he does to the group— pauses and admires you
you catch him looking at you a lot more often than him catching you
he loves it when you pull him by the waist
AND IF YOU KISS HIM ONCE HE’S AGAINST YOU? he’s get all gushy
super sassy with you
doesn’t really like it when you worry over him but he gives you REASONS
normally that’s a cause for arguments but you genuinely show him you just want to care for him the way he cares for everyone
your big baby, always getting all soft and mushy and ends up crying if you two randomly get into a deep talk
literally bby girl
your bby girl
In Defence of Sam Winchester
(Or alternately titled)
Two Times Sam Actually Made Pretty Big Mistakes and Several Times When He Did Not (But was Blamed Anyway)
I have two sort of random thoughts on this scene, followed by a long-ass rant about Sam’s Alleged Screw-ups under the cut. This is me, so of course it got long.
1. “Sam, I want Gadreal to pay as much as you do, but nothing is worth losing you.”
Truth. Here we have one of the few times I can unreservedly agree with Castiel.
2. “Being human didn’t just change my view of food, it changed my view of you.”
I don’t ship on this show, both brothers are implied to be straight, and I don’t want to see either of them in a long term relationships while the other is around because it would just suck to be Sam or Dean’s significant other, as you’d always be a distant second to their brother.
But … if Castiel had to fall for one of the brothers (we are not discussing whatever that was in Despair), it should have been Sam. First, Sam treated him with a ton more courtesy, respect and forgiveness than Dean (and more than he ever deserved), and the arc could have been really compelling. Seeing an angel going from seeing Sam as an abomination, to protecting him for Dean’s sake, to protecting him for his Sam’s own sake, to learning to empathize and relate to Sam after being human himself, to loving him for overcoming his own flaws and guilt could have been pretty epic. Again, I’m fine with it not actually happening because Supernatural is not about romance for me, but they could have done something similar and made Sam and Cas' friendship more rich if they’d given them more screen time. There are moments where Sam and Cas are quite sweet with each other, just fond; meanwhile, Dean is cursing Cas out every other episode, and Cas is backstabbing Dean (and Sam) while they call each other friend. And Jared and Misha have good chemistry, so if Cas had to stick around longer than his character warranted, they should have had the characters who can relate to each other actually have opportunities to, well, relate more. And I don’t buy that line that Jared and Misha couldn’t get through a scene together because the gags and bloopers have to be exaggerated or no one could have gotten through scenes on set, and none of them would have gotten jobs after the show ended.
Anyway, on to what truly sparked this post..
3. “The only person who has screwed things up more consistently than you, is me.”
So, this is the part of the scene where my Sam and Cas interaction fondness evaporates. The basic statement is correct, Castiel has in fact “screwed things up” more than Sam, but the implication is that Sam is this constant screw-up, and with this I take issue. Much issue.
This scene is located in Season 9, a season where Sam has in fact not screwed up, but has rather been screwed over. Dean has screwed up here, you know, the other Winchester brother who makes mistakes but doesn’t get the “consistent” blame for it that Sam does by the show (or characters. Or many fans). This is not in anyway anti Dean, but both brothers screw up a lot and the Sam scapegoating is out of control.
On that note, when has Sam consistently screwed up (in a big way, not smaller things), with him solely responsible for doing the “screwing,” and when is it a result of actions outside of his control?
Season 1: Sam going to college was treated like he committed murder, when it was actually normal and justifiable thing to do, so I’m not counting that. Next, Sam discovered he’s been fed demon blood as a baby, so he’s monster adjacent. This is not something he did wrong, but was done to him. He also failed to kill Azazrl, but he did so because he couldn’t kill his own dad who was possessed at the time (especially with Dean begging him not to). No major failures or screw-ups here.
Season 2: Sam is possessed by a demon, who kills and attacks people while wearing his body. Sam didn’t chose this, but it is another thing that was done to him. Later, be gets killed (if you can call that screwing something up) because he showed compassion to another “Soecisl Child.” His reward for his goodness was being stabbed in the back. He didn’t screw anything up on a grad scale this season, but was too good.
Season 3: Sam fails to save Dean from his Demon Deal. Again, Sam didn’t make this deal, so Dean dying was his own fault (as sad and awful as it is). Sam could have saved Dean (we know this from Season. 4’s arc), but Dean would not let him work with Ruby to do so. Again, Dean died because of Dean, not Sam. Though, I will never forgive the show for not letting Sam save him here, it still isn’t a Sam scew-up.
Season 4: Ah, here is the major time that Sam did in fact screw up. Drinking the demon blood and trusting Ruby were no bueno (though she did do the work to make herself look trustworthy and Sam was mad with grief, he still fuckrd up). Then, his “greatest” mistake: he killed Lilith, freeing Lucifer from the cage and starting the apocalypse. This was a major screw up too, but he also didn’t know what was going to happen, and if he didn’t do it, Dean was planning to do the same, so I don’t think he deserved actual blame for killing a demon (without knowing the consequences), when everyone from angels to demons was suggesting she needed to die. My tally: 1.5 Sam screw-ups.
Season 5: All Sam does this whole Season is be honest, atone, redeem himself, and Save the world (with Dean’s help). Sam is perfect in Season 5. Fight me.
Season 6: Sam does a lot of bad shit: kills a lot of people, tries to dad-icide Bobby, brings the Campbells on screen by hunting with them (snd they suck), and hurts Dean pretty repeatedly. Except Sam, the real Sam, didn’t do any of these things by choice. “He lost his soul” which Dean even blmaes him for in Season 8, but that’s giving Sam too much agency in this problem. He didn’t “lose” his soul like he “lost his shoe.” No. His soul was left behind, deliberately or not, by Castiel (lead screw-up himself) to be tortured by Lucifer in the cage. Sam’s actions in Season 6 were not “just another Sam screw-up” because he didn’t actually do anything wrong because the Real Sam wasn’t even steering the ship. So, smy Soulless Sam mistakes in Season 6 are Castiel’s Fault.
Season 7: Sam goes insane. Even though some of the characters seems to blame Sam for this (or at least resent him for it), as though MHI are something for which we should blame the affected person, Sam is not to blame here. Having a bout of insanity after being tortured in hell for 150+ years is not a screw-up. It’s not an oopsie. It’s both reasonable and not Sam’s fault. It is in fact Castiel’s fault (again) for breaking Sam’ hell wall. So, much like last season, in Season 7, Sam even more so did nothing wrong. I really will fight you on that one.
Season 8: And here’s the crux of what Castiel was probably actually more directly referring to. Sam didn’t save Dean from Purgatory. He committed the cardinal sin of codependent brother husbands (I don’t ship, but I do call them this to amuse myself). He didn’t save Dean from Purgatory: he didn’t sell his soul; lose himself in grief, pursuit of revenge, or self-destruction (like in Mysety Spot or Season 4); or try to kill himself to make a deal to get this brother back. What a monster! Never mind that he didn’t know that Dean was in Purgatory at all, or that he thought he was doing what Dean would have wanted in case of his death, and try to live (like he told Dean to do when he sacrifices himself in Sean Sing).
If we need to count this as one of Sam’s big screw-ups (as opposed to weak and/or out of character writing), we are now at two major mistakes (or 2.5). Sam had “consistently” actively screwed things up on a large-Castiel-like scale twice in 9 seasons. The other screw-ups were because he was too good of a person or because someone else has done something to him that has lead to terrible consequences.
Actually, I guess we have to count Sam not closing the gates of hell, as if that would have worked out in our favour on this never ending tragedy of a show even if he’d done it. Still, I guess he didn’t “succeed” in dying on an errand thst probably would have backfired on the world anyway. But, in this case he actually would have succeeded (and did in the first 3 trials) if Dean hadn’t stopped him. Dean begged him not to complete the last trial so he wouldn't kill himsrlf, so if this is one of Sam’s screw-ups, it’s Dean’s too. And I’m not even inclined to count it as one because, as I said, it probably wouldn’t have had the resulted in anything good if the gates were closed. But, if I must add it, Sam’s tally is 3.5 large mistakes in 9 + years.
Castiel, you’re kind of an asshole.
(Before anyone comes at me, if you bother to read this far, I know Sam (and Dean, and everyone) makes lots of smaller mistakes, but for the purposes of my rebuttal to Castiel’s point, I’m only focused on big world-ending, or in other ways personally devastating, mistakes.)
Made me a fool
“Did you hear about Kita? He took in a farm hand and a GIRL at that.” – @nanami2ndbureau for my Gossip Event.
word count; 479 – f!reader, part 2 of this
Tumblr media
Many of the others in the village wondered why Kita kept you around. It was no secret that even though you worked hard, you were not that good at it. When you made tracks for the rice, Kita usually had to go over them again. When you watered stuff, Kita had to add more soil or drain the pot. When he asked you if you wanted to make some lunch for the two of you instead, he had to run inside when there was a smoke signal from the kitchen window.
His back ached more than it did before if he’s honest.
But every time, you would give him a sheepish smile, raising your shoulders as if preparing for him to yell at you. And he would let out a long breath before once again showing or telling you how it’s supposed to be done.
Yes, he kept you around because you’re gorgeous. You made him a fool.
“Hey, it’s getting late,” Kita noted after checking his wristwatch. Then his eyes went to the horizon, where the sun had long since set. “How about you stay for dinner?”
You perked up, taking a second to mentally confirm that this was the first time he asked such a thing. “I could make dinner for you! After messing up so much in the greenhouse, it’s the least I could do.” Embarrassed, you rubbed the back of your head and looked away.
Lucky, because Kita’s eyes widened significantly at the horrifying thought of you making him dinner. “You don’t have to-”
“I want to!”
And once again, he fell victim to you.
While you cooked, Kita hung around, nervously eyeing every move you made and hiding behind small talk. Kita realised then that you two talked a lot. He knows so much about you, and he only likes you more every day.
The thought distracted him for long enough that when he zoned back in, you were guiltily looking over your shoulder while smoke burst from the pan. “Kita…”
He sprung into action, reaching out to put more oil in the pan, letting it soak into where the food was burning. Then he shooed your hand away, taking the pan and working the food with one hand, while the other rested on the small of your back.
Your cheeks were burning, and you wished you could blame the cooking. “I always mess things up, I don’t even understand why you keep me around.”
As he moved the pan to the cool part of the stovetop, he sighed heavily. “Honestly, me neither.” Your shoulders sank and you looked up at him with glossy eyes. Kita looked at you, glancing at your pouty lips and back to your eyes. “I must really like you.”
Let’s just say you spent the whole night there and eventually stayed practically every night.
Teamwork makes the dreams work.
marauders hc #4
lily evans.
she has it all. perfect grades, hair that catches the light just right, a smile that makes everyone feel warm and safe. she’s the dependable friend, the one you go to when you need advice or a shoulder to cry on. she’s the sunshine girl, with a prefect badge on her chest and the most popular boy at school hopelessly in love with her.
but no one asks how lily evans is doing. because why would they? she’s fine. she’s always fine.
except she’s not.
her home is a battlefield. petunia’s sharp words cut deeper than anyone realizes. she doesn’t even have to yell anymore—just the disappointed looks, the cold silences, the way she acts like lily doesn’t exist. like she never mattered. freak, unnatural, worthless.
the war creeps closer every day, and lily feels it like a noose tightening around her neck. her parents are muggles—targets. every owl, every headline feels like it could be the one that changes everything. but she doesn’t talk about it. she doesn’t cry. she can’t. everyone is counting on her to be strong.
so she bottles it all up. she smiles, she nods, she listens. but the weight inside her chest gets heavier and heavier, pressing down on her ribs until she can’t breathe.
so she starts cutting because she needs to feel something that isn’t this crushing emptiness. the sharp sting is quick, almost clean, and for a moment, it’s like she’s in control of the chaos. but then the guilt sets in. the shame. what kind of person does this to themselves? she’s disgusted, but she can’t stop.
then there’s the food. at first, it’s not deliberate. she skips a meal here and there because she’s “too busy.” but then she realizes how light it makes her feel, how empty. it’s like she’s disappearing from the inside out, and that feels like a kind of freedom.
every day, she tells herself she wants to die. not dramatically, not in the heat of the moment—just this quiet, persistent whisper at the back of her mind. what if you just… stopped? she thinks about it when she’s brushing her teeth, or walking to class, or lying in bed at night. what if you didn’t have to do this anymore?
sometimes, it’s vivid. she imagines the ways she could do it, running through the details in her mind. the astronomy tower maybe? but then the shame kicks in, this hot, suffocating wave that makes her stomach churn. you’re selfish enough already. don’t make it worse.
but other times, it’s just this hollow ache, this desperate longing for everything to stop. it’s not even about dying—it’s about escaping. she feels like she’s drowning in everyone else’s expectations, their problems, their pain, and she’s so tired of carrying it all. she just wants it to end.
and yet, she doesn’t do it. she calls herself a coward for it, berates herself for being too weak to follow through. you can do everything else perfectly, but you can’t even do this. it’s another thing to hate about herself, another way she feels like she’s failing.
but deep down, she knows why she doesn’t do it. she keeps going because she doesn’t know how to stop. because there’s a part of her that still hopes, even when she hates herself for it. because no matter how much she wants to disappear, there’s a part of her that’s terrified of being forgotten.
she lays in bed at night, staring at the ceiling, wondering if this is it. is this what life is supposed to be? when will it get better? when will i be free?
but the next morning, she gets up. she smiles. she listens to her friends. she carries their burdens and hides her own because someone has to, and who else is there?
lily evans: the girl who can do anything. except fall apart.
The ritual I do most often is offering the first serving of whatever I made to a guest. If we have a physical guest over they get the serving but if we don’t have anyone over it goes to a non-physical guest. Most of the time for me that is Njordr but I’ve also given it to land spirits and occasionally other gods as well.
btw todd’s reluctance to join the dps because he doesn’t want to read (which is then accommodated for) and is scared to put himself out there (which is also worked through) being read as todd not wanting to go AT ALL, and thus neil making the proper accommodations (“todd anderson, who prefers not to read, will keep the minutes of the meetings”) and encouraging him to step out of the box that stifles him being seen as ‘forceful’ or like he can’t take no for an answer makes me insane with rage
#and him trying to stop neil from asking if todd not reading at the meetings is okay isn’t him wanting not to go#its him not wanting neil to ask because (as someone with social anxiety) it’s EMBARRASSING ASF for someone to ask for things on your behalf#literally just think about it as the meme of ‘when i tell my friend im hungry and he tells his mom that *i* want food instead of both of us’#and the whole ‘neil not knowing how to take no for an answer’ thing…… dont get me fucking started#the kid who’s had to take no for an answer his whole life? the kid whose first proper scene IS him taking no for an answer? are you serious?#being encouraging and accommodating and (admittedly) a little pushy when he’s got his mind set on something—#—is NAWT the same as not being able to take no for an answer or bulldozing through conversations with people#he and todd DO listen to each other in those conversations theyre just on opposing sides—#—because their understandings of the world don’t fully align at that point in time/the movie#which is totally fucking normal?????? because later on they DO properly align?????????#i feel so crazy about this every time i see someone say todd didn’t want to go the dead poets meetings because it’s so obvious he DID#he was just scared#and you know what maybe it IS a little forceful#but given how dedicated todd is to shutting off and hating and isolating himself he NEEDS a little forceful to be broken through to#if no one ever pushed me to do things when i was scared (as irritated as it can make me) i’d never do SHIT dude#and obviously todd is the same way because he ALL BUT OUTRIGHT SAYS AS MUCH#‘i appreciate this concern but i’m not like you’ IS about neil’s voice and opinions mattering to people but it’s ALSO about—#—him being outgoing and trying new things and putting himself out there#WHICH TODD WANTS TO BE ABLE TO DO!!!!!!!!#the moral you take away from todds growth is NOT that he has to change to be accepted because he DOESNT#its that he has to gain the confidence and belief in himself to grow and become the version of himself he WANTS to be#he NEVER changes on a fundamental level to make others happy (although his growth does make others happy) he just opens up more#and i dont know WHY some people think his arc is becoming a completely different person#like yall PLEASE#this isnt even an anderperry thing this is an issue even if you read them completely platonic#i blame the FUCKASS novelization…. dps book you will always be hated by ME#dps#dead poets society#neil perry#todd anderson
