Oh my god, I saw the first one and I was like WTF? If you don't want someone to play a character just because of their skin color… that's racist as hell. Can you imagine someone saying Chris Evans shouldn't play the Captain because he's white…?

But that it's Kit's fault…? He's doing his job, people choose who they're more interested in. If any other actor had been in his place, it could have ended the same way.

Teddy is a tall, athletic, handsome, blue-eyed, blond, jock type, because - this is going to shock you - he WANTED to be stereotypical. After all, this is a YA Presents plot - he wanted to fit in, he wanted to be part of a stereotypical clique, and his human - or rather Kree - appearance helped him with that. (Yes, in 2006 they showed Teddy as a little skinny guy who adopted a more muscular look, but later issues changed that and he stopped pretending and instead referred to himself as "buff as check.") So to blame this on him being "dated" is pointless, because it's a significant theme of wanting to fit in. Sure, Teddy can look any way he wants, so his skin color doesn't really matter, but everything else is important, and changing the fact that he's always been a jock can change the character too much - does any MCU Flash resemble the Flash in anything other than their last names?

And oh, and I'm so grateful that Eddie didn't turn out to be Teddy. I think WV and AAA were weird Wattpad fanfics that treated Billy's character like they threw him in a blender, flushed him down the toilet, and made "Billy Maximoff" out of the leftovers. If someone were to write Teddy, I beg you to let it be someone who will leave anything of the character he should have been.

Teddy weak…? Teddy is a fucking powerhouse who people underestimate because, as he himself said to Kl'rt - "he doesn't like to brag". Sure, he may seem weaker than he is in Billy's company, because Billy is Billy, but Teddy is actually a tough competitor. He has a strength of around 75-100 tons, he was able to withstand a fight with The Thing, he knocked out a Sentinel with one punch, he punched a Super Skrull through a building, he stopped Thor's hammer with his sword, his shapeshifting skills are so good that he perfectly imitated a robot, and he has such an excellent regeneration factor and adaptations that his body moved organs during vivisection. Is he weak? Sure, the MCU would definitely weaken him, but people underestimate my boy! But for that you would have to read at least the Wikipedia article…

General opinion: I LOVE ZAC BRO, he might be my favorite character from season 1 after Ken, he's just a silly guy and on EVERYBODY'S SOUL he deserves all the fan girls he has in canon

One thing I really love and appreciate about Zac is how he's genuinely kind AND confident at the same time, like, usually with famous characters in kid media, they are either fake asf and are assholes in secret, or are in reality really shy and insecure about themselves in some way and Zac is neither of that, like in his debut episode (I think) his whole "Even if you can't outshine me since I'm the brightest star, that doesn't mean you don't deserve to shine your best !!" thing IS SO ADORABLE TO ME ILISM, like even during his rivalry with Akira, he doesn't really have much asshole-ish moments (at least that I remember) bro is kinda a breath of fresh air

He's also genuinely funny imo, his one sided beef with Wakiya needs to be talked about more istg, and I am NOT letting y'all forget "The Masked Blader" that shit was hillarious, I love it, AND THE WAY HE'S EXTRA PLAYFUL AROUND TOKO AND NIKA IS SO ADORABLE I CAN'T

Anyway, I have sm to praise about this guy, his overdramatic ass quitting Beyblade only to come back to it in the very next episode, him basically being a Michael Jackson reference throughout the manga, HIM CALLING VALT TWINKLE TOES, I'd be basically listing them all day I seriously love Zac

Opinion on his design: The most Zac design to ever Zac, I literally can't imagine him any other way

As a kid, I remember thinking that it was so funny that his hair is THAT long despite being a guy, but now that I think about it? Slay, it's literally so perfect for him, and those red thingies in his hair? Idek if that's actually his hair or smtg else but I love it

His fit ain't anything special but it's alright bc it's Zac

Also I just realized he has gloves, they're cool ngl but what does the guy need them for actually 😭?

Favorite headcanon: This one can be considered kind of implied but yk his whole "I'm so good at disguising myself" but actually sucking at it thing? Yeah, he DEFINETLY got it from Nightfell, like he saw how good Nightfell is at disguising himself and he's like "Big brother is so cool doing that :00, I can definetly do it too :DD !!" and Nightfell didn't want to hurt his feelings so he praised his disguises IT'S SO CUTE THINKING ABOUT IT (also it would be really funny if Zac was the only person who could see the minor mistakes in Nightfell's disguises and therefore tell it's him or smtg... tho that probably can't be possible since I'm pretty sure Zac doesn't know his brother's identity as Count Nightfell so)

Favorite ship: My mutual on TikTok mentioned Zac x Orochi and I was like "...Holy shit that's actually so peak" and here we are (I even convinced my friend who never watched Beyblade to join the OroZac nation)

pros

i didn't think i would like isabela merced as dina but she actually does a good job with how endearing and dorky dina is. and i like how they're giving us more of ellie/dina being friends.

tommy and joel having inside jokes is so funny like "the constructo-meter" or whatever that was? adorable, i love them.

gabriel luna did a great job with tommy, as always. he has this goofy tenderness to him that is so real and true. i can't wait to see how he handles seattle and everything that comes after.

i LOVED dina and joel having a relationship. i'm absolutely a "joel would have adopted dina as another daughter if he'd lived" truther and i think it's a great use of time to give them a relationship.

old man uncle joel is soooooo cute. and so in character. and i liked seeing his job in jackson.

i think i like that joel and ellie are actually talking some? i can't decide. it's definitely different from the game but i always headcanoned that they had moments in between the silence and anger. so i like it so far.

owen is hot???? i don't like his character in the game but at least now he's not terrible to look at lmao

bella ramsey is doing okay as older ellie, but there's definitely something off about her portrayal compared to the game. ellie is shy, she's not a rebel for the sake of being a rebel, and she's also not a huge bitch lmao. ellie's not really mouthy in the game because she's awkward and shy. bella's ellie is a lot more aggressive and kind of bratty, and not in a good way.

ellie would NEVER be as casual and flippant about her immunity as she was in that scene. that scene was a really bad choice imo. ellie's immunity is an awful weight to her, an unfulfilled purpose and a constant reminder of her survivor's guilt and ultimate uselessness (in her mind). not something that she uses to be impulsive and manipulative and break the rules.

what in the fresh fuck was up with the therapy scene. i said it from the first time we saw that clip that joel would not fucking be going to therapy. and it felt weird and took away from joel's character (he thinks he's a generally good guy??? no the fuck he does not???? that man has so much guilt and self-hatred just for failing sarah not to mention everything else?? he does NOT think he is owed ellie's love and is NOT pissy about her being angry with him. never. not my joel. what the fuck.)

additionally, a lot of time was devoted to the therapist's backstory and feelings (like..... ma'am who the fuck are you) so she's some constantly intoxicated apparently former wife of eugene's who took up way too much screen time with her angst. cool, i guess.

they aged jesse up? which makes dina/jesse lowkey creepy? maybe i imagined that but if they aged him up i don't like that.

jackson seems less warm. maybe the colors or the set but something was off that made it feel not as cozy. the council meeting not just being at tommy and maria's house with cups of coffee but all official was weird too.

messing with the timeline is..... confusing. idk maybe it'll work out but as someone who started their 547th replay of the game this morning i couldn't tell what was going on timeline wise in the show.

so far i don't like kaitlyn dever as abby, mostly because she's not jacked. she's like a tearful little scrawny thing. not abby, imo.

abby's crew looks nothing like their game versions to the point where i didn't know who was who

i wish they had kept the opening from the game. joel and tommy talking it out right when they come back is such a good, emotionally tense way to start the story. maybe they'll do a flashback but i think that was a missed opportunity.

overall it was an....... interesting start. really it felt kind of clunky, like it was trying to squeeze too much into one episode. but there are good parts that make me hopeful, so i guess i'd say i'm cautiously optimistic about the rest of the season.

GODDD in my heart he's definitely sooo overconfident and drunk like wow I am so smooth :) nobody suspects a thing :) while Calloway is having a conversation with him like uh... just saying, but you know, none of us could stop you from. for example. idk. becoming a giant's pet. we wouldn't like that but it's just a random thing that came to mind just now, unrelated to the really tall really wealthy really powerful guy who is afraid of taking advantage of you by luring you in and giving you things like a giant would and maybe isn't treating you like a person. And you're afraid you shouldn't want it. Like BRO IT IS SO OVER FOR YOU even without Harry literally calling Joe's name 3+ times in the dead silence 😭😭😭😭 And presumably Harry having been waiting around there for a while to see Joe! Loitering in a way we know tinies are on guard about since they all noticed that snatcher back in Ch13!

They're idiots ur honor, so true, but it's all worth it to see Joe get rescued and swoon like a damsel ... I definitely wonder if Calloway observed any of that, and what he might think about it if so. >:) May or may not have been daydreaming and writing bits about how horrifying it would be to give your surrogate kid all this well-meaning advice, see him nearly slip to his death, and while you're hurrying down to try and help him, watching him call out to a walking nightmare for help and then get whisked away by it

I have a pet theory that everything we've seen from Calloway so far has been pretty heavily colored by it being from Joe's perspective when he's having a bad day, and maybe he will be more understanding than we think? Objectively, I didn't think he was being very rude or anything back in Ch 13, when he was speculating on Joe's love life. It rankled Joe, which is understandable, but he 1) he's happy that Joe looks good, 2) he doesn't let Gutters or O'Grady rag on Joe too hard and 3) he just generally seems like an interested father figure would about his kid's love life:

"“Oh, lay off him, Tim. It’s a good borrowing year!” Captain Calloway cut in. “We all have ‘em, we all enjoy ‘em, we all cry ourselves to sleep when they’re over.”

Relief washed over Joe like the warm water in Harry’s sink.

“Though I gotta say…” The captain gave a wry smile as he continued. “…it could just as easily be someone else’s good borrowing year if ya’ catch my drift. Could be he’s got a little sweetheart looking after him. A brick of pure chocolate? That’s practically a dowry."”

Although I may be wrong here, since Ch 21's incident at Tiny Town with the Italian mob that saved him gives us the insight that "[for] the first time in Joe’s entire existence at that, Joe understood what it was like to have a real father." So maybe Calloway is not that nurturing to Joe and not much of a caring dad -- as @remordsposthume's tags so wisely point out:

WTF WAS HE DOING LETTING HIM LEAVE THE BAR LMAO. Calloway's Den of Drunkards confirmed for an "everybody drive home drunk. it's not my problem" bar??? Everyone is processing TAoLaW thru their own cultural lens and. in that spirit. lmfao. I must say. Calloway reminds me of the libertarian redneck dads I've known who just let their kids do whatever. If he was a giant I think he'd let his kids ride ATVs thru the woods drunk. Most probably he would also be ridin around drunk with them. AND MORE ABOUT CALLOWAY... I am very heartened by how you mentioned once, Warren, that you planned to give each character real depth and treat them with sincerity. I feel very interested about when that time will be for Calloway! We know that he takes in kids (or at least O'Grady and Joe scratch that. tag lore be upon me) and teaches them how to sell trinkets. We know that he hates giants. We know he's been horribly injured in a way that led to him losing a hand, an eye, and possibly teeth. Knowing what we do about the risks of being a borrower, and how casually cruel giants are to them, it's not unlikely those last 2 things are related. I'M TAKING YOUR TAGS AND RUNNING AWAY WITH THEM LIKE A DOG W SOMETHING IN ITS MOUTH.

So Calloway knew them for several years as vulnerable kids... then lost them for a year or so... then got them back after they escaped the watchmaker's? I will be interested to see if that trauma means he's more protective of them, or uh, still more drunk libertarian dad about them. Lmao. He seemed like he cared about Joe getting into Tiny Town way back in Ch3 tho at least! (as an aside... interested in who Gutters is, too. He SEEMS to be older than Joe/Tim, but he could also still be a Calloway Kid himself... he seems to defer to Calloway... and/or he could just be some guy embittered about giant/tiny relations. which. fair, brother.)

If the broader Tiny Town culture (such as it is... would word get around about this incident with Joe and Harry, or does news just not travel that well amongst lots of secluded borrower communities? much to consider. it makes sense in a dark way why you would physically mark somebody who's transgressed against society's cardinal rule, in a culture where you cannot generally spread information effectively) would reject Joe for his proclivities... will Calloway, too? Or is it Joe's anxiety making him think that? I'm afraid we already know how Tim would feel. Other than him, Calloway is the person who Joe seems most connected to in miniature society... Although Harry's worry about Joe not spending enough time around his fellow miniatures in Ch22 is at least partially motivated by his own guilt-trip, I think he has a bit of a point! I hope Joe doesn't lose touch with everyone -- or if he does, I hope there will be new friends out there for him, too, who are more understanding.

A snapping turtle is a fantastic little horror for poor Joe to face, woof. Those fuckers are scary enough when ur height is measured in feet. The quick way they snap is no joke. Just want to 👏👏👏👏 about how good this passage is: The turtle’s maw emerged from the waters of the lake like the gaping mouth of some ancient monster that fed on the souls of sailors. The grimy lakewater rushed over its beady little eyes as its beak, sharp as a dagger, flew towards Joe faster than a gunshot. YEAH.

It just!! makes my little heart sooooo happy to see that Joe does have someone who will unconditionally look out for him...!!! Harry has his issues, and they're still learning how to open up about themselves, but he consistently shows up!! :') the thought of him waiting for his man all night ... hoping the dredge would be the place Joe meant ... and then acting sooo fast when he saw a tiny guy fall off of it... what a faithful hound of a [future] boyfriend. Calloway is so right. Joe deserves somebody to look after him. And Joe has done the (forgive me for the loaded meme) girl math on this. One big man is the best possible outcome for him. ONLY THE BIGGEST MAN WILL DO to keep him off of his bullshit as much as possible 👍👍

And OF COURSE god their conversation is just so so so fucking funny. "Thank you" "fuck no I'm not" -> "FUCK YOU" is INCREDIBLE i CANNOT STOP THINKING ABOUT IT lmaooooo and Harry still being so gentle about receiving this insult and trying to parse what Joe means ... he does listen to Joe, they're definitely not back to square one as drunk!Joe feared, his own issues are just getting in the way! I just adored the moments of insight between them, too. "... Joe knew his real answer was yes – he was just too afraid to say it overtly. He argued and fought and begrudgingly accepted it instead. / What was that saying to Harry?" vs. Ch22 Harry's revelation: "How much of his relationship with Joe was genuine, he wondered, and how much of it was Joe going along with Harry’s suggestions in the name of diplomacy?"

Joe IS acting like somebody who's being coerced! Harry IS being a trustworthy guy by noticing it and checking in once their relationship is definitely turning intimate! It's so fascinating to think in hindsight that every time Joe turned red and embarrassed, Harry was having a thought at the back of his mind like "he doesn't want this. I'm scaring him. He doesn't want me, and he doesn't even know the real me yet. And worse, he can't tell me, because he's afraid of what I might do to him." But he can't SAY all that because it would hurt too much if he said it and Joe confirmed he was actually correct, so Ch22 comes out as a trainwreck where he's accidentally insulting Joe's ability to survive without him. (Side note I KNEW Harry wasn't REALLY considering Joe his landlord. Sad!!! That fucked up scrawny starving guy has squatter's rights and he was doing pretty good all things considered maybe !!!)

The respective issues ~Society~ has given both of them just make it impossible to talk about the root of their problems without baring your guts in a really terrifying way. OOF.

HOWEVER this chapter confirming that homophobia isn't such a problem in tiny society is going to make this eventual conversation betwen them real interesting... Harry like "You don't understand Joe :( there's something really wrong with me... ... I like ... men..." and Joe being like "omg :) :) :) :) :) wait what's wrong with you tho" and then Joe "No you don't understand Harry :( I know this is sick but... I like.. giants... I'm sure you could never see someone smaller than you as anything other than a pet ..." and Harry just ":) :) :) :) oh what no :) Georgie was shorter than me" I hope they can have a good, baffled laugh at how long they could've been snuggling guilt-free. Okay so the first thing I thought of when kylie(red) pulled out all the spray paint and start doing her thing, was Mal. Like Disney bae it's giving Mal dupe.

Second and this one got me cracking was The Merlin Academy. Like My brain totally disregarded it as in I FORGOT ABOUT IT, so imagine to my horror when red is spray painting I see them BLAM! Plastered on the wall in all their Evil Glory.

Okay so I found this picture on Instagram where someone got a close up and other than Ulyanna, Maleficent, Hades and Hook, I don't know who the others are ( sorry not sorry) Now underneath the picture we can see on a plaque the words "vk students" now this made me realize why the title vk was so accepting when the core four came to aruadon, Because it wasnt the first time the title had been given/used.

Now look at this close up of teen Maleficent all I have to say is Wtf is that.

If those things at the side of her head are supposed to be horns, respectfully she needs to chop them tf off?? And is she wearing a ponytail??? Now I haven't seen Maleficent in a long time but isn't she supposed to have brown hair? Now idc if they give her a different hair color but the outfit and those HORNS especially are not giving!!!.

Like I saw someone do a redesign of this descendantofthesparrow I think and it was jaw dropping absolutely gorgeous, like mam what's your major? Anyways yeah I've seen this person done a ton of redesign and rewrites that when I watch descendants I'm like "oh yeah, this is Canon and the good stuff is fanfic"

Now this whole time travel thing doesn't make sense to Me because am I really supposed to believe that Hades who's older Than all of them by thousands of years went to school with them? Like what.

I'm going to assume Ulyanna is the Leader of the gang because she's in the middle and everyone else is in the back and from what we've seen the Leader is always in the middle.

Now I have a feeling rise of red will be pushing to make Hades and Maleficent a thing so we can see how Mal became a thing, just an assumption. Respectfully If they try to make hook and ulyanna a thing I will jump tf off. There was something else I wanted to say about Hades and Maleficent but I forgot and will most likely reblog this post when I remember.

now this is the Queen of Hearts and once again Descendants isn't following Canon because I'm pretty sure Carlos mentioned at one point that he used to drive his mom to the queen of hearts castle.

Now if I didn't know already that this is the queen of hearts and u shoved this pic in my fave and was like "girly who do you think this is?" Now descendants brandy Cinderella has blue hair which doesn't make any damn sense so I'm guessing that's why Chole has blur hair. I really wish there outfits were better because with the og 4 we could tell what their main colors were without it being to much but now It's Def too much. saw Dune 2 (2une?), and since I don't have my dune blog anymore I'll post here, since blah blah this is my place for posting about Dynastic Weirdos. This is long but NO MAJOR SPOILERS, except about like, small detail things that aren't plot things but whatever

Tbh it was disappointing. It had all the correct elements to be liked but one thing grated on me the whole time...the Bad Dialogue and lack of Elevated Speech! Why the hell were all these characters saying stuff like "these guys" "we're ok" and "literally" it took me out of the fantastical world sOOO bad. Super bummer because what I loved about Dune 1 (D-uno?) As someone who went into it before reading or knowing anything was how much it didn't explain, how it let the visuals and the world unfold before you, and how serious and somber it was in a way that gave it a sense of scale and time.

I can only wonder if WB saw all the complaints and tweets about people being like "we didn't understand the first movie!!! It wasn't funny and quippy!!!" And decided to simplify it down so characters just SAY things really obviously and inelegantly. The writing has some competence in moving the story forward but there's no poetry or rhythm to the way characters say things, it's serving "Rings of Power" scriptwriting to me lmao. And it's not like any of the actors are bad? I've seen them do well in the previous movie and in other things, so wtf was going on with the direction. I know people complained Abt Villeneuve saying that whole thing about being more into visuals than dialogue but maybe he was right...there needed to be LESS WORDS. bc much of the words we had were NOT GOOD.

Positivity: the middle and latter part was where the movie picked up for me. The Harkonnen Freak Villain behavior was everything I could have wanted! Finally instead of EXPLAINING everything obviously we got to see a LOT of character building, for Feyd specifically in a very short amount of time. I know a lot of us complained about Bald Feyd-Rautha but Mr Elvis did a very good job. And we got Madame Fenring and weird scifi femdomming finally, which is Essential for the Duniverse! Wonderful fantastic no notes.

Of course, getting back to our heroes, I anticipated this 2 years ago sadly and it was true...the Fremen were badass but SWAGLESS. More Learned ppl have already written about the frustration with the erasure of the Arabic/North African cultural presence so I won't reiterate that here since I'm not super knowledgeable about the specifics of that but even as a casual watcher there was a weird emptiness to the way I feel the society was portrayed. There were individual good character moments, such as fun bantering among the Fedaykin etc, but for Pacing or Whatever they cut out the community aspects that served to make them feel more like well, a People rather than just either Grizzled Soldiers/ Religious Fundamentalists aka Marks/Panicked refugees. I have to guess this was ppl were like "we can't show a culture too cool and colorful and the part with Harrah (Jamis' widow) would feel too ORIENTALIST!!! But the result is something sadly very dry. At least in more older orientalist works, the interest comes from when the ~exotic~ stereotypes figures are able to have charming personalities and personalities and be known as people despite the cliches sometimes but this sadly wasn't even like that....

Jamis' funeral is a good example of this; in the Book, it's a moment where you first get a good look of what rituals are like in this world, and how people relate to each other and to the dead. In the movie, the funeral is looks more foreign and even a little creepy as the water is extracted from the body. There's not really a Personal or community connection aspect to it at all.

The ending was pretty good as it satisfied all the Cool Dune Moments I think we all wanted to see, and also did literally the end of The Godfather Part 1 Framing which was hee hee heh. Anyways, Messiah is MY favorite book of the series personally so curious how they get to that.

Maybe I've been too spoiled by Cool Historical Fiction lately? I've been watching too much of The Devil's Crown where action happens mostly off screen but the dynastic drama is written and acted so compellingly, the historical mindset and setting so alien and yet so human and relatable, it's frustrating to see when works try to do the opposite? I started to slowly realize that some certain Mondo haters are. Really annoying. Like I wouldn't have an issue with them if they just didn't like Mondo... But for some reason they have to come up with certain excuses for why they hate Mondo and to also bother Mondo fans. It’s never just “I don’t like Mondo,” it’s always calling him a piece of shit who killed poor innocent baby Chihiro. Danganronpa came out in the year of our lord 2010. Trans people have always been treated like shit, but it’s not Mondo’s fault. It’s not Mondo’s fault, because Mondo isn’t transphobic. It’s the writing and the creators and Danganronpa as a whole who are transphobic. Obviously, yelling at people for what they headcanon Chihiro as is not cool. But Chihiro is written in a very trans-coded way. Whenever I talk with my friends on call, I always come back to this: Chihiro’s story is about strength, not masculinity. But the reason she went to Mondo instead of Sakura is because of the toxic masculinity she’s dealing with: she believes in order to be strong, she needs to be masculine. That’s why she went to Mondo.

But again: Mondo isn’t transphobic. He had no problem with learning about Chihiro’s assigned gender at birth. Like you said, he did everything in his power to make sure he could honour Chihiro. He acknowledged Chihiro trusted him, and therefore, wanted to make sure he “held up his end of the deal” so to speak and make sure her secret wasn’t found out. In no way is Mondo transphobic.

But here’s the thing: do Kyoko and Sakura ever get any flack? Does Byakuya ever get any flack? And that’s the thing about Danganronpa, especially Trigger Happy Havoc: They are high schoolers. They believe they’re like, what, 17? High schoolers are dumb. They’re learning how to be humans, especially how to be an adult. They’re kids. Of course they’re going to be idiotic, they’re going to say dumb shit and not be in the moral and ethical right all the time. They are flawed. But the only person who ever gets flack in trial 2 is Mondo, because he’s the killer. Mondo is a 17 year old boy who is suffering from PTSD. It is quite frankly disgusting to make him the sole villain of chapter 2. Is Mondo a flawed character? Yes, but he’s also suffering from a ton of mental health issues. Like you said, it’s always “mental health matters” until it’s Mondo. Kyoko and Sakura and Byakuya never get any shit for the trial because they’re the popular Characters who everybody loves, and therefore they’re absolved of all their actions. You can like them, don’t get me wrong, but you need to acknowledge that they are flawed. I guess what I’m trying to say here is that portraying the one high schooler who’s suffering with mental health issues as a disgusting irredeemable villain while absolving everyone else of their actions is disgusting.

And one thing that, again, my friends have brought up is that Chihiro isn’t a pure victim either. Listen. I understand that Chihiro probably had the best intentions, and that she wanted to comfort Mondo. But pushing him with saying he’s strong is the last thing she should have done! She saw that Mondo was starting to spiral, and yet she continued to push him. She had good intentions, yeah, but she should have realized she was poking the bear. I know it sounds like I’m victim blaming, but come on. Are we really solely blaming the guy suffering from PTSD? Chihiro, again, is absolved of her actions because she’s a fan favourite.

Going back to your point moot became I got totally sidetracked, Mondo didn’t kill Chihiro because he’s transphobic; he killed Chihiro because he literally had a PTSD episode (please forgive and correct me if that’s the wrong term) Frankly the way Mondo gets treated is disgusting. And I did met a friend of waste (well their user name is hella weird but let's called him red since he likes the color red) so red ask me to get discord which I did download the app and I never felt so happy that I can chat with friends, we chat, we share art each and we VC (voice call) like its was the best time of my life but until things went down hill...

So on the beginning of 2019, they become a bit jerky like they talk very dry talk to me and talk about my grammar, that i wasn't text all good like it doesn't matter how i talk, but it's mostly come from their partner (nub) they both know each other since kid (which basically they live in the same country)

So their partner also talk trash about my grammar and my art , and the more days of being with them, the both of them starting to become more selfish and toxic

They bullied me for being emo and tell self harm and suicide jokes around me and the worst part that waste make a drawing of me offing myself like WTF!? JUST BECAUSE IM EMO ITS DOESN'T MEAN THAT I HARM MYSELF EVERYDAY!!! YOU DONT KNOW WHAT IM GOING THROUGH!!!

I wanna rant about my opinions on certain characters and aphmaus own character (mainly the cast of the "smp") this may be garbled since im just going off whats on my mind rn

SMP and OG series talk

Now Im not the biggest fan of mystreet, but im not a hater, i think its og first three seasons are fine (third seasons plot was straight ass through) but after season 4 and all the multiverse and mcd and mystreet worlds are in the same timeline thing, kinda made things werid

(especially with season 4 oh my god wtf was that)

But now that i see how those characters are used now.....for fucking cocomau content...

...I can't really give mystreet shit cause its cast was sent right into kid sensory video hell or just hell since a lot of characters didn't end up in the cocomau smp unless it was highschool themed videos (RIP katelyn and travis, forever in highschool puragatory dimension)

But those who were spared from the waste bin were cursed with a experience worse than death

Character Regression and Character Assassination

The entire cast of the aphmau smp (and one video returning characters too) all have their worst traits put to eleven or are at their most basic traits of the trope of their character where they are competely soul-less or lose past development in their character as a whole

(or your pierce, and you get a competely different personality from the og series you were from)

Now the reason why everyone is like this is of course (kids channel now) and (everyones supposed to be in a server and are irl ppl now)

But...when i said characters have their worst traits put up to eleven, is for one reason

Its so aphmau and aarons actions look better in comparisson, since shes the all perfect main character that does no wrong and is so nice to everyone and...aaron is basically the mvp of the smp, best fighter, builder, and "hottest guy" on the server and is the mysterous loner or some shit.

I watched Wish recently, and regarding what people had said, it wasn't bad.

It wasn't good either but it wasn't bad it was... meh.

(Might be spoilers but yeah, if you didn't/don't want to watch it my little analysis won't really interest you)

Now as a Disney and animation fan, I must talk about it because I watched it very late and still manage to bear my own opinion even if no one asked for it so here it is yoohoo

Did I laugh ? Yes two are three times (and no joke, I was the only one cause I'm an easy-laughter); did I smile ? Sure; did I find some music interesting ? Kinda; were the colors pretty ? Yes; the animation for a disney ? Err... m'k.

I get people that like it, there are things that are interesting, it... passes the time, you can show it to toddlers, but yeah, I mostly get people that didn't because I was kinda disappointed. If you take one thing apart from the other, it's quite awful, and when you put it all together it's a "hell no", especially because it's supposed to be the 100th Disney classic. I mean, I get the point of foreshadowing old classics, but some were really messed up like- some characters are just carbon copies of old design ? Asha's best friend is Snow white if she was a disabled four-eyed girl, the tired guy looks like the rich guy in Big Hero 6 and Bambi ? Little John ?? Can't you do that any clearer, we're fucking blind here.... I mean, ok I laughed when I heard that but I don't count I'm an easy laughter, wtf was that, like- I couldn't help but look at my brother like "did you see the same shit I just saw ? And you forced me to come and pay for that ?" and I was mostly laughing out of embarrassment because I WAS ALONE GIGGLING TEARS OF WTF-NESS

Some things were cool I guess, like the mirror effects when Magnifico sings I think ? And at the end when he elsa'd his castle to take the star. The Jafar effect wasn't bad either, but because it's Jafar effect and Jafar is a fucking badass, same with Elsa-ying the castle, because this scene in frozen was very cool

I felt bad at first but I must say, the songs are very disappointing. Like I wasn't expecting much, and it sure stuck in the head easily but that doesn't mean it's nice. The ones I appreciated were the song about the wishes (the clip is pretty) and maybe the revolution song (but the clip was urgh and why the hell they look so lifeless ???) I get why people said it was made by AI lol

In terms of character, except the Queen and grandpa, I didn't like any of them. Like usually I can't hate or dislike a Disney character, but here ? None of them was fine to me. Actually, I felt nothing from them. The villain was erh... basic I guess, he could be nice like the woman in The Rescuers but no he was, well basic "I'm perfect they should be grateful but they are not so let's become an asshole !" So yeah. Disappointed. He was a better villain than Hans, tho, maybe because Hans wasn't supposed to be a villain at first and that Magnifico was like Jafar, Evil Queen and Scar had a baby. Also, it seems to me like they didn't have a few or any -like ANY- personality, like- I CALLED THE TREASON OUT THE MOMENT I SAW THE LIFELESS BIG BOY COMON'

Now, I'm coming to people saying all the kids love it and I'm too old for that: no. No, I'm not too old for that, Disney is for everyone. No, not all the kids will love it, kids get easily bored, and this movie isn't very attractive. I bet if I show this to my nieces and nephews and siblings, they wouldn't care less - and they already don't very much care about movies in general when you put one for them. There were at least four kids in the theater and none laughed, or sounded interested, one preferred to play on his daddy's phone ??? well, I know all kids aren't like that, but really, this movie wasn't made to content the kids, it was made to content the fans clearly, that is why the movie isn't good.

Anyways, if you enjoyed it good for you ! The colors are pretty and the technic used is interesting, the chara design of Asha and the Queen are pretty, I can't say anything for the rest, tho, because the bg design is just resuming the old (and new *cough* encanto *cough*) classics anyway, but less good at guess... but really, if you like it, good for you, and say why, so I don't have a bad souvenir of it forever lol
