#I can kinda relate to him because I too can be smart and plan in advance and be cautious

okay, this may be a bit ramble-y but I have an important question and I think you are the most qualified expert to ask!!! how would you describe Anji as a character (personality-wise)? I want to write silly little fics with him (also Baiken too because they are cute together hehe :3), but my usual method of reading the guilty gear wiki and combing through content with the character in it just ain't working this time!! anything and everything you have to say is very much appreciated ^^
Tumblr media
Oooooh while I'm extremely flattered, I also kinda struggle with the same thing sometimes. He's a little hard to pin down personality-wise because he can be kinda all over the place in the stories and also idk if he's as fleshed out. But I can certainly try!
I'd say he's rather passionate about what he does/the things he cares about? He's lighthearted and a free spirit, but can also hunker down and get serious when it matters. He's definitely curious, sticks his nose into places it probably doesn't belong. And while he can definitely think things through and be cautious, he also just kinda does whatever he wants in the spur of the moment (ad(h)d who-)
I could also argue that he's rather secretive too? He wants to try and have the upper hand in a lot of situations, and I think that goes well with him being a trickster. But I don't think he's completely cold hearted either. He's goofy when he wants to (meeting Nago with Chipp) and earnest when it counts (Baiken.)
My best and honest advice is to both watch and read the script to the games and decide how you want to interpret him for yourself. The strive arcade mode, the few times he shows up in the strive stories, checking out the VG museum, etc etc. But assuming you've already done that, I'd also recommend reading fics and combing through some character breakdowns. @rex101111 and @elementroar do a fairly good job at that (granted a lot of it is in context about his relationship with Baiken but I'd argue that's kind of an important part of his character a little bit.) (but also that is just me so take that with some salt if you wanna)
Rex's fics and also Mundane and Lazy Life do a really good job at exploring more flawed and complex aspects of his character without sacrificing what makes him endearing. They're some of my favorite interpretations because they really flesh him out.
Hope that helps??

𝓣𝓱𝓮 𝓒𝓱𝓪𝓲𝓷 𝓗𝓮𝓪𝓭𝓬𝓪𝓷𝓸𝓷𝓼- 𝖕𝖆𝖗𝖙 3
Part 3! We finally get to Wars, Sky, and Wind! WIND IS PLATONIC ONLY DON'T BE GROSS
Warnings: possible suggestive themes (AGAIN NOT FOR WIND), angst, mental health topics, scars/wounds
⋆。°✩
𝖜𝖆𝖗𝖗𝖎𝖔𝖗𝖘
21-22 years old, one of the captain's of the Hylian Army. Zelda offered him a higher rank (general I'm assuming) and a position on the Hylian Council, but he refused almost right away.
Pretty tall, an inch above Twilight, but still shorter than Time
Blonde hair, shaggy but in a fashionable way. Idk y'all, he makes it work
Leaner muscle, double pierced lobes, wears chain linked earrings when at fromal events but usually sticks to his signature blue hoops
Can't read Hylian that well, but can understand/speak several languages, such as Twili (Twi is kinda jealous)
The strategist of the group. He was always under a time limit during the war, so he knows how to handle a tricky situation quickly and efficiently most of the time
Went to school in his developmental years, though was recruited at around 14-15 because he was way better in the fighting field than in academics. It worked out for him though, so he's not complaining.
As much as he cares about appearance and fighting for his country, he hates balls/formal events. The fake interactions and smiles make him sweat and he usually leaves an hour into them. He'll suck it up if you're there with him though
Closest to Time, Wild and Legend ironically enough. Wild and himself can relate on the aspect of being in the Hylian army, and they typically talk about how their experience was. Legend and him mostly bicker, but its all fun n' games. Time and Wars are essentially the higher-ups, though nobody actually says that, its just been silently established.
Super wary of Y/n, especially with his expriences with other dimensions and eras. He was honestly convinced you were part of Cia's plan or the shadow, since your timing seemed a little convenient, but you've gained his trust little by little, maybe a little too much.
Unlike his usual demeanor with women, he doesn't outwardly flirt with our protagonist. Yes, he throws a few quips here and there when appropriate, but he respects Y/n. He doesn't see them as everyone else. He has them on a pedestal towering over everyone
Has scars from the war, duh. He was mostly up close in the front lines, so a lot of slashes and nicks. Has a pretty bad burn on his left arm from Volga's fire, it's healed but still pretty scarred on his skin.
𝖘𝖐𝖞
20-21 years old, the "Chosen One".
Average height, light freckles across his face and shoulders, he was living right under the sun, you can't tell me he doesn't have freckles!!
Also... sleeper build. I said it. He has a sleeper build and boy when Y/n first sees him shirtless?? AWOOGA-
I headcanon him as having a gigantic triforce insignia tattoo all over his upper back. It was part of his ceremonial return, more on that later.
Suprisingly very school smart for falling asleep in class all the time. Sun was and still is very jealous of his natural smarts.
Has his lobes pierced, wears small red hoops. He wants to get more stacked piercings, a loftwing feather to match with Y/n in the future, who knows?
Doesn't have the biggest sweetest tooth, but he does love pastires of almost any kind. Pumpkin ones are his favorites, though Y/n's cinnamon rolls are quickly climbing up the ladder.
One of the most conflicted about Hylia and the whole "following the goddess" thing. He s=has insomnia because of it, causes him a lot of anxiety.
He was very depressed after his journey was finished, as he didn't identify as anything else besides a hero, and since his purpose was completed, he was nobody.
Struggled a lot with isolation and self-deprecation right up until joining the Chain. He still struggles with it, despite it being years later.
After meeting you and learning about your similar struggles of identity and burden's of mental health, he felt so much less lonely. Sure the Chain were his brothers and they knew what he had been through, you really understood him. You went through the same thing, you knew what it felt like.
Close to Hyrule and Four, but probably most attached to Y/n, even before the romantic feelings set in. He's got a big heart.
Biggest sleepyhead. Will sleep almost anywhere, especially if he's exhausted.
Hobbies include woodworking and playing his harp, but recently took up making a piece of jewelry for Y/n. He's been working on it for months, adventuring prevents him from working on it too long. He wants to give it to you during the winter festival, when you're all his.
𝖜𝖎𝖓𝖉
little shit
...
I would say I'm kidding, but he is :3
around 13 I wanna say, it's only been about a year since his adventure.
Short, duh, but his growth spurt is kicking in. He's catching up to Y/n, and you are not excited to be the shortest in a few years.
Sandy blonde hair, a bit wavy. Somehow always has a tiny bit of sand in it, no matter how many times he washes his hair.
If you think Twi or Hyrule had the biggest sweet tooth? HELL NO
If Wind ever found out about energy drinks or soda/pop, we're done for
Not the best in terms of speaking and reading Hylian, though being a pirate has helped him develop his own colorful vocabulary
Very skilled with up close combat, though the others hardly ever let him be on the front offensive
Similar to Wild, likes taking pics of anything (mostly weird faces that the others make)
Y/n and him clicked INSTANTLY. He might've not trusted them immediately, but they were best friends super fast. Wind has helped you get through homesickness by tellng you his own stories about his home.
"Captain" of Tetra's ship, or that's what he believes
Everyone knows Tetra's in charge though
Struggles a bit with alcoholism, being a pirate and all kinda leads you to be reliant on alcohol. The boys are trying to help him with it, but its the main coping skills he uses when after a high stress situation or he's feeling lost mentally.
Everyone sees him as a little brother, despite how much of a little shit he is >:3c

some thoughts about Chuck and Texas (character analysis?)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
thinking bout they're actually very similar, at least in my perception
and it's not visible at first glance, they seem like polar opposites, actually - Chuck, anxious, withdrawn, kinda insecure; Texas, loud, confident, certified bragger and bullshitter
but that's not entirely true, when you get into it
from Texasify, I think it's safe to say that Texas does all that - constant boasting, coming up with a million ideas that no one really asked for - cause he feels like the team, or specifically Mike doesn't appreciate him enough and take him seriously. and honestly, isn't that what Fearless and Blonde Thunder tackle, but from Chuck's perspective? He takes the booster cause he feels like, because of his fear, he isn't on the same level as the other Burners, and in Blond Thunder it's even more obvious. He even pulls a Texas move at the beginning of the episode and starts bragging about how good of a driver he is, even though he's never been behind the wheel. He's scared the Burners will think he's a joke if they knew he wasn't as good at driving as them. These episodes (Texasify, Thunder and Fearless to an extent) are literally about the same thing except in relation to two different characters.
And the thing is, both Tex and Chuck ARE right - the Burners DON'T take them seriously. In Amazons we see that the Burners dismiss Texas's idea to infiltrate the other gangs from the get-go and only humor him because they think it's funny. Even Mike is very opposed to Texas's ideas (which I thought was kinda out of character honestly but let's not get into that), basically treating him like an annoyance, or even a hindrance to his own plan.
Chuck ALSO doesn't get treated seriously by the gang. In Fantasy Vans, they start out making fun of his hobby, cracking jokes and basically laughing at him instantly. And yeah, okay, guess you can say it doesn't rly matter cause it's just a hobby (even though it's clearly important to him), but in Fearless we see them sat around a table and laughing at him screaming in fear for his life, very obviously making him the butt of the joke.
What I think is especially interesting is that Texas is probably most guilty of this (making fun of Chuck), with him laughing at Chuck the loudest and even making snide comments. And then what makes that even MORE interesting is that Texas very clearly recognizes Chuck's intelligence while not thinking he himself is smart (very evident in the texasified intro where "Texas is intelligent" is the only claim he backtracks on)
I think it's safe to say that Texas feels a kind of insecurity cause of not being as academically gifted as the others, ESPECIALLY Chuck. Idk if I'd go as far as to say he feels resentment, but it's definitely a neat idea to explore.
What is ALSO important to point out that the show itself doesn't take them seriously. Both Texas and Chuck are often made to be the comic relief character - Chuck with his screaming and clumsiness and Texas with his outlandish ideas and lack of understanding of situations he finds himself in.
BUT that's not where the similarities end. I like how both of these characters don't seem to have problems with... let's say departing from the truth. Obviously, Texas just makes up stories that never happened to make himself look more heroic, or overexaggerates his abilities, but Chuck does that too, to an extent. Like I said before, he lies in Blond Thunder, he also has no problem with taking the booster and not telling anyone about it, or not admitting that his first LARPing win was due to him tripping, essentially taking credit for something he didn't really do (a thing that Texas also does, most visibly in Threat level)
Another thing, which is maybe less important but present nonetheless, is that both of them have negative rizz. Texas, thanks to his over-confidence comes off as douchy and, dare I say, misogynystic, whereas Chuck is so insecure he basically forgets how to speak around Claire.
They both also care very deeply about Mike's opinion. Texas clearly feels inferior to Mike and feels like they're in a constant competition, resulting in him trying very hard to impress him. With Chuck, it's a little different - his need of Mike's validation pushes him to try to be better. He comes clean to Mike about the LARPing thing (even though he didn't need to) and takes the booster mostly because of Mike also, then, of course it's Mike who gets him to take it out. It makes sense, of course, since Mike is the leader of the Burners, placing him directly above Tex hierarchically, and Chuck's best friend, but neither Dutch nor Julie feel that need to prove themselves to Mike constantly (Julie feels the need to prove herself in Off the rack, but I think it's mostly targeted towards the team as a whole and not Mike specifically)
Also also, little thing, but it's funny how they both don't have canon last names
Overall, Texas and Chuck are actually two sides of the same coin and I really REALLY wish we'd gotten more interactions between them. Also they both have super ultra autism. You see it, right? You totally do

Okay so this probably sounds dumb but at least for now I'm calling it a Mindtrapped AU (my thing with ES Bumblebee getting put under Mandroid's control)
I went back and rewatched the last three episodes of S1 (I replayed Stowed Away. Stowaways so many times I can't count it) but basically I'm rewriting that entire episode plus tweaking the last two. Now I have a canon-relevant reason for Bee going into the G.H.O.S.T Headquarters (his secret mission) and the kids stay home!!!! What compelled them to follow him in canon?! It's like they wanted to get captured or smth,,
So Bee's basically crawling through the walls like a roach to get his business done *insert cool spy stuff that me am not smart enough to write*. I also think that (just my opinion) Optimus kinda acted too obviously suspicious of Croft and that ruined the element of surprise because she immediately clocked that something was up.
And Schloder's complete 180 opinion of Bee?! Wasn't he eager to put that minibot in cuffs just episodes ago??? I think I'm going crazy
Anyway I'm trying to make it flow more cohesively while I build up to the bigger events
I have an oc that would fit perfectly into the plotline but idk if I should actually flesh that out or keep it more canon compliant. On one hand, I'd have an excuse to write them (an unaffiliated Velocitronian bounty hunter with relations to G.H.O.S.T but not officially working for them), and on the other I wanna keep the main antagonist a human (Croft, Mandroid)
Orrrrr, I could write them in and turn it into a double betrayal? (They're so gonna get killed off btw, it was destined in the scriptures)
I'm completely torn on this, y'all can decide whether or not they debut in the fic.
ANYWHO,,,,,,,
Bee gets got at the wrong time and the mission is a failure, and instead of being put in a cell, is immediately put into interrogation (read: torture) for espionage and conspiring with "the enemy". Y'know how everyone else has a badge on their chest/shoulders? Well, Bee gets one implanted directly into his neural net, attached at the spinal cord in the lumbar region, and it's so tightly interconnected that it hurt, threatening to sever the delicate circuitry. (It's fully intended to actually cut the cord if it gets deactivated, a fun surprise for later. I plan on exploring the potential of Cybertronian mobility devices. I also like the prospect of Bee using a cane)
During the fight, Breakdown comes back after getting his shit together, feeling terrible for abandoning his bbg and his family. He takes the responsibility of doing everything he can to keep the mind controlled minibot focused on him and nothing else, which leaves the terrans relatively unscathed at the end. Breakdown just kinda,,, lets his shit get rocked, feeling like he deserves to get beat up like that for even thinking about abandoning Bee. He comes out less unscathed, but alive.
Because it's a different type of control chip, and also connected to a computer at G.H.O.S.T and not that hand thing Croft has, Bee is still under when that big energy wave hits in the last episode, though since the connection was abandoned, there's no input coming through and Bee is left standing there uselessly, waiting for a signal that never arrives.
I think it'd be funny if Breakdown were to try and mess with him, making stupid faces and poking at him to try and get a reaction. He manages to get a few doorwing and horn twitches, and a full body movement when he jostles him hard enough. Other than that, nothing, and it's lowkey disconcerting. None of the others can get any other reaction, and especially Jawbreaker feels somehow responsible and keeps clinging onto him like a koala, hoping that behind the chip, he can feel that his little brother is there trying to support him.
What if the only reaction he gives is because of Hashtag, due to her G.H.O.S.T affiliation? He can sense a signal bouncing through her from that computer and he gives attention to her, awaiting for a command. She of course is freaked out about it but also enamored, because that's one of the craziest situations she has ever been in aside from the major fight earlier.
She can't properly intercept the signal because it's out of access, but now they have a better clue on where to look to shut the computer down and get Bee back.
And boy is that reunion uneasy.

This is kinda a funny comment but @ Brambleclaw telling Hollypaw how smart she is, i remember reading an article about how corporate spies (YES THIS IS RELATED) got information. The article was mostly one person's retelling about how it was entirely though phone calls where they just ask for information, and whenever the person on the other side started questioning them for why they needed the information, they were told to switch to praising the person on the other side for sticking to the rules and 'authenticating/checking' everything. That they'd 'put in a good word for how dedicated they were', basically buttering them up and making them feel good about catching what they were doing specifically to nudge them away from actually catching on.
I find it WILDLY interesting how the Erins just ACCIDENTALLY put actual manipulation tactics in their books when trying to make a male figure seem like a good person, almost like they're writing from experience in some kind of elaborate essay to themselves about how that behavior is okay and justifiable. They write in another character, Crowfeather, who abuses in a different, more noticable way just to compare and go "At least it's not this bad!" (the scene where Crowfeather chews out Breezepaw and one of them goes 'id rather Brambleclaw any day of the week!'), and then have Ashfur butter up Brambleclaw so that him excusing Ashfur's abuse can be claimed as Ashfur manipulating him.
ANYWAYS a question so you can properly add to the ask: How DOES the Ashfur buttering up Brambleclaw thing go down? Does Ashfur even NEED to butter him up? I think it'd be a little interesting if Hollypaw telling Brambleclaw was the first time he's actually heard of it happening, but he either confronts Ashfur and THEN gets buttered up, or he heards, thinks about it, and goes "nah its good actually I'd do the same".
There's actually a name for the tactic Ashfur uses that you saw in that spy article. It's called Ingratiation.
It's the act of making someone have a higher opinion of you, therefore putting more trust in you, by simply getting them to like you. Flattery, posing yourself as an in-group, and even using humor can all be part of ingratiation.
Now-- Ingratiation isn't ALWAYS nefarious. It's normal to try and make a good impression, or want to be liked by a possible friend or coworker. We try to influence other people all the time, we're social animals. It's just good to know that it CAN be used maliciously.
So I'm not too surprised to see a manipulation tactic in the book. I was using "buttering up" exactly because most people know WHAT it is, and that it IS a way to get people to do stuff, but don't connect that to its academic name. Like you said though what's so BIZARRE about it is how they really DO sometimes seem to be writing this looooong essay to themselves about how that was all Fine, Actually.
ESPECIALLY the way Bramble and Crow were contrasted in the Dog Scolding Scene. I left most of Bramble out because I was trying to focus on proving that Breeze was abused, but Nonny... the way the Three get chewed the fuck out by Bramble, as he insults them, assures Crow he won't be stopping for their exhausted sakes, and doesn't indicate that his anger is coming from concern...
It massively reminded me of when one neglected kid sees another kid get abused too. "Oh, well, what I'm going through isn't so bad, because it's not like THAT."
THEYRE SO CLOSE. ALL THE TIME. Like an INCH away from the point and it's AGONIZING.
Anyway... in BB, Bramble's enabling of Lionpaw's abuse is a WATERSHED moment for a bunch of the character arcs, especially Hollypaw.
I plan to keep it very similar to canon actually, I think it's stainless steel the way it is.
Ashfur KNOWS what he is doing.
He wasn't rolling for a save. It was calculated. Brambleclaw is someone who could have stopped his abuse, so he sought him out.
Can you see how inescapable that makes it, for Holly and Lion?
Holly finally worked up the courage to say something and stand up for her brother, only for her father to coo like she's a kitten who doesn't understand the world.
Even Lionpaw's father believes it's good and right to BLEED for your Clan. That this is normal... that this is even what love can look like.
BB!Lionblaze is the adopted father of his bio-nespring, Ivypool and Dovewing. What he internalizes here as a child is going to hurt BOTH of his daughters down the road, as he shoves them into the Dark Forest and a Prophecy, respectively.
Even after Brambleclaw disowns him and Lionblaze rejects him in response, adamantly saying he has ONLY a mother, he won't reject this lesson until it's TOO LATE.
And Hollypaw is so damaged by this scene that it's going to be the first domino towards her murderous break in Cruel Season.
"I need you to keep your brothers in line, Hollypaw" is soup stock, and then add obsession with the Code, constant betrayal from the relationships she forges in other Clans, her near-murder at the claws of Ashfur when he finds out the Power of Three + Fire and Tiger prophecies, and the murder of her mentor and grandfather.
And then she finds out her HalfClan brother, a Cleric, angel-punching blasphemous wretch he is, has gotten Poppyfrost pregnant. Just like Leafpool before him.
What else IS "keeping them in line" supposed to be, when he's gone this far? He's had enough chances. She will do what she's meant for. Jayfeather must DIE.
Bramblestar himself is notorious in BB for being incredibly controversial as a leader, taking power in Cruel Season just after Firestar is killed by the Dark Forest assassins.
This is part of his personality. He is easily blinded by his own feelings, and it makes him a good target for manipulation.
His first deputy, Thornclaw, exploits many of the same weaknesses Ashfur did. All part of the Dark Forest's plan.
And even Ashfur. Up in StarClan, he continues to plot, eventually leading to the events of TBC and his time as the Impostor.

im so fucling curious what the backstory is behind deeby and lana omg. meant to send a more coherent ask but post work braincel decrease is hitting me hard. also the dutch petname thing scared tge fuck out of me the first time.
ps this is also thw first time ive anon named myself
love - 🌿🚫 anon
God, mood about the post-work braincells. Also, I mean this with so much love, but it means so much to me that I managed to scare the shit out of you with that lol. He gets. Just so much worse. Let's just say everyone in my discord servers I introduce him to universally hate him with a passion. Get ready.
ALSO technically parts of Declan and Lana's backstory are giant spoilers, including what will be one of the bigger plot twists, so I can't tell you just yet. HOWEVER, what I can do is reiterate and highlight things I've already said in-story, plus what's gonna be revealed soon when I actually upload her character profile lol. All that under the cut.
So the first time you really first start hearing about Lana is in Chapter 7, where we also meet Vaughn for the first time. In that, we learn that 1. Declan and Lana are ex boyfriend and girlfriend. As in they actually used to date. 2. Lana is Declan's boss now in some capacity (and was the one to order Stan's kidnapping), and 3, Declan fkn hates Lana. So much more than he hates Vaughn.
In Chapter 8, we learn that 4. Vaughn and Lana are currently dating. That's not really too relevant, but it's really funny to me because their relationship is... something. I'm sure you can imagine. It's very mutually manipulative and they both know it, its awesome.
Anyway, then in Ch. 9, through Stan and Deeby's yelling match, you learn that Declan and Lana's relationship is complicated and he refuses to talk about it, but 5. he's kinda obligated to do whatever Lana says or face unspecified consequences.
Skip to Chapters 11 and 12, the ones with Marcus at the convenience store getting harassed, where we first meet Lana in person. We learn a lot about her, mainly that she 6. acts pretty bubbly and ditzy but is actually pretty smart, 7. is completely fine with SA, 8. is manipulative as hell, 9. feels safe enough to fuck with Declan's plans because despite how much we know Deeby to exert his will over others, he wont do shit to stop her. and 10. The big one: she was the one to give Declan his burn scars (with acid btw. everyone in the story has a weapon of choice, bc superhero lol. Lana is injectable poisons, gasses, acids, etc.). This is mostly just something you could assume, but when she gave him that burn scar, that was the turning point when Lana started manipulating Deeby.
Chapter 15, it's mostly just more of the same, Lana telling Deeby to keep Stan for longer, and Deeby can't argue back, he hates Lana but he has to do what she says, whatever.
So, to put it all together for you: Lana has Deeby under her thumb for some reason. She acts fake, she's manipulative, she's relatively smart, and she dated Declan which means she would get to know some of the more intimate details about him that she could blackmail him with. Also something happened between them where she literally burned him with acid, and now she is his boss (she's the CEO of Supramed Corp. actually, which would be revealed whenever I get around to posting her character profile lol) and makes him do bounty hunting jobs as well as basically whatever she wants. That's what we know so far.
You'll learn more about Lana as a person as well as the nature of their relationship as time goes on, and a lot of Declan's behavior has been partially shaped because of her. There's a lot more to her that hasn't been uncovered yet, although the context clues are all there in the story. I just pointed out the specific ones that relate to Deccy.
Also, one last thing to leave you with. I focus a lot on eye color in this story, it's always very important, it tells you a lot. Lana has bright blue, sky blue type eyes. Can you maybe think of another time I've described a character with eyes like that?
(also if you have any questions feel free to ask in another ask or the comments lol, idk if any of this is even comprehensible)

Do you think Law would be more into men or women as a sex partner? Or both? 🤔
First, a warning: this post will answer multiple asks at the same time! Mostly because I partially answered those questions elsewhere and because of that my answers are shorter than usual, so I decided to group them together. Now let's get to the first question <3
I think Law would like boys. He just seems to like to hang out with males, his crew kinda reflects that, 19 males, 1 female. But at the same time, I feel like he doesn't care about genders all that much, at least considering canon material, he doesn't really treat girls in any special way, be it patronizing or especially protective. All the way back in Dressrosa he put Robin in his Caesar's exchange team (which, mind you, was the team that did the most risky operation!). So it's possible he actually doesn't care about gender all that much at the end of the day. He would be totally fine with Yamato (Yamabro <3) too.
Simple answer is: he just gives me the gay vibes. He seems to naturally gravitate towards other males, like Luffy, Zoro, Penguin and Shachi, even Usopp and Sanji (he did enjoy being carried by Sanji, didn't he?). Meanwhile he seems to have only approached Robin and Nami in canon, and it was always about business then lol. I would usually think it's because he's respectfully keeping his distance from females because of his traditional upbringing, if not for the fact he didn't care that he put Robin (so, a woman) in most dangerous group in his plan. I would usually elaborate more on the topic, but I literally miss source material for that: Law just doesn't interact much with females at all. Let's also keep in mind he blatantly refused Monett's flirting as well lol. It doesn't have to mean anything, but it definitely could.
Of course the answer I'm giving here completely dismisses the possibility that his lack of interest or avoidance of females simply stems from his amber lead syndrome. But that's also a fair possibility!
Tumblr media
Hi anon! I answered this one already :D I will copy-paste it for your convenience!
One could consider that intellectual attraction would be a big thing to Law, if not for two things: his crew doesn't seem to be the smartest, and Luffy also is not, yet we all know he likes to hang out with both. So I guess he doesn't mind it that much and intellect isn't the most important factor to him when being attracted. Unless you consider him being intellectually attracted to Luffy, because Luffy is good at reading emotions, but you know, I think Law himself wouldn't agree to call it "intellectual attraction", haha.
So I guess my answer would be "no", because it doesn't seem to matter so much to Law. He doesn't seem to gravitate towards smart people, but he clearly gravitates towards cheerful people instead, no matter their IQ levels. And I think the same applies to his possible dating partners. The most important thing is that he can protect and pamper them and relate to them emotionally, so intelligence would be just an extra bonus imo. Of course when it comes to plans and alliances, smart allies would be probably better, but then Law made an alliance with Luffy while fully aware how crazy and carefree he is, so that again proves the point I'm making here.
Also Law is just modest, so he doesn't think of himself as some sort of genius that has to date only some other genius to feel satisfied with the relationship. In fact, he's often impressed with Luffy despite Luffy not being the smartest.
Tumblr media
I mean, is he a workaholic? I guess in AU modern settings in which he's a surgeon he would be, because in reality many doctors are workaholics by default. But in canon? When does he give that vibe? When he's lazying around on the deck of Polar Tang? When he falls asleep on Sunny despite the fact he should have kept watch for Doflamingo and his men before they approached Dressrosa? Or maybe in Wano, because in the very first scene we see of him it's Law just lazying around in some abandoned, destroyed roadside shrine-like building? Yeah, no, he isn't overworking himself, he has his people for that, meanwhile he will just lie around and think over stuff. His hobby of wandering also doesn't give any "workaholic" vibe if his idea of spending free time is just bumming around without any specific aim or goal.
He is an overworrier, that's for sure. But that doesn't neccessarily make him a workaholic. He even tries to discard samurais request to help organize the Onigashima raid's plan after the traitor had been exposed, that's not exactly something a workaholic would do, right? In Law's novel it was actually Wolf who had to teach Law some responsibility for his crew, for example, because Law was acting sly about that. It also took him weeks to actually do anything else than just stay home and enjoy daily life back then too. He's definitely not a workaholic by nature. He is big on discipline and can study hard, I will give you that though. We see that when he studies medicine like a top student with his father in the flashback, we see his dedication as well when he trains and studies with Doflamingo's Family and later also on his own. But this still doesn't make him a workaholic to me. I think exactly because he's smart he doesn't have to be a workaholic to get his work done, because it simply takes him less time to get the same result.
Now that this part is out of the way, let's do the second part of the question. Would sex relax him after he's busy or studying hard? Well... I would say, it depends. I imagine that after a hard training, or lots of studying, or just dealing with overall chaos that Heart Pirates or Strawhats are, he would instead prefer some peace and quiet. I do not think sex is a purely relaxing experience, unless you expect your partner to do everything for you. Sex actually requires some work done to be good, lol. It's not just happy endorphins, body doing motions on it's own, and we're done. What about emotional connection? That needs work, vulnerability, opening up. In Law's case, that's a lot of work, especially if he's dealing with a trauma (and he is, all the time). At the end of the day he would probably choose to get rid of the tension on his own, it would be faster, more effective, doesn't require extra work or processing a trauma. And that would be probably his choice after a day that was very busy/tiring for him. After all, you don't want to add more stress on top of stress to deal with it, right? That's very counterproductive and would end up with a result of even more tired Law. Not even endorphins would be enough to sooth him afterwards, lol. He would simply just collapse.
But in all honesty, I think reading Sora's comics would do much more for relaxation. Or drawing, for example some ideas for clothes customization, he seems to really enjoy doing that.
Tumblr media
I assume you mean in canon story? He wouldn't even engage in an activity that would result in a child, because that child would probably not survive till age of 10. I covered that in my answer to this ask: https://www.tumblr.com/l-in-the-light/759927365045485568/ Those girls would have to literally put him in seastone cuffs and force themselves on him for that situation to happen. He's a responsible adult, no matter how reckless he can sometimes get. That also means no drunk sex, because dubious consent.
I also don't believe he would be into one night stands, because he's a complete emotional wreck that has trouble emotionally engaging with people, and also because I believe he's actually more into commited relationships than flings (which means no Robin or Ikkaku situation, unless they're The Love of his life on Cora-san's level). If you want to read more about the reasons why I think he just wouldn't be into one night stands, here's the link (there's a whole section marked with a headline dedicated to that): https://www.tumblr.com/l-in-the-light/759545339455930368
I will be very honest here, I don't like the idea that a handsome guy just has to get macho sex with any female that he meets on his way, just because he's the male and they are the female. I also think it's extremely disrespectful to have occassional flings with your own crew, no matter the gender, because you can't escape the forced power dynamics there. Who would actually say "no" to their captain if it can result in being kicked out of their literal home that is Heart Pirates crew and the submarine? This is noncon territory right here. Do you really like to imagine Law this way, because I don't. I'm pretty sure he has the rule of "no romance on the crew".
But let's consider this scenario: Law loves Robin and she's literally the love of his life. Robin wants a baby. Since they're both responsible and mature people, they would talk about it and before doing anything in that regard, they would reach the conclusion that having a baby is probably not the smartest decision here. Imagine loving a child for 10 years only to live every single day knowing your beloved child won't live up to their 11th birthday. You want that trauma, would you choose that trauma for yourself? Knowing exactly that would be the result? And if for some stupid reason Law did get it on with Robin and that resulted in unplanned pregnancy, would you really dedicate 10 years of your life to this? What will you tell your child then if they start to have dreams for their future, thinking they want to become this or that, only to crush them all down by telling them "sorry, you won't live that long, it was the result of our selfish decision". I mean this is all levels of fucked up imo.
Now, the final scenario. We disregard the Amber Lead Syndrome, it never happened, Law is completely fine. His love life doesn't change, he still would engage himself only with The Love of his life. If that resulted in planned or unplanned pregnancy it wouldn't matter, of course he would want to be a father. Even if mentally he wouldn't be ready he would play it cool and try to be responsible and step up, even if he would lack confidence himself. He would pamper his partner to a disgusting degree to show his support (not in sweet words though, he still hates overly emotional things and reactions) and since he's a doctor he would be probably pretty good at this. This is totally an AU territory here though and I admit I'm not so interested in that.
Tumblr media
Hi! Glad you enjoy my posts! I kinda already answered those questions before, I will leave you here with the link!
Here's the answer to whether I think Law would enjoy sex without being in love: https://www.tumblr.com/l-in-the-light/759545339455930368 short version: no, I think he would want the deep emotional connection he can get only from commited relationship. Since he wouldn't get it out of a fling, because he's too emotionally withdrawn with people he doesn't know well (actually, even with his close ones he is kinda withdrawn), all he would get is lots of physical closeness which might not even make him feel all that comfortable (let's not forget about his touch trauma after all!). I elaborate on the reasons in that link, especially in the beginning of the answer!
I will instead expand here on the only exception I can think of (but please keep in mind that I consider him aroace or at least ace). I suppose he could be open to queer type of relationships, which could mean "sex with a friend". But it would look like that only from the outsider's perspective. Because for Law that would be The Relationship of his life, equal to a romantic one for people who aren't queer. So, it wouldn't be casual and it would be actually very commited setup there, just outside the box. I mean, come on, this guy is super passionate even if he doesn't show it outwardly much, you really think occassional fling would be even close to satisfying for him?
Not to mention the obvious problem here: he's not very open even to his own friends (be it physically or emotionally). This guy is a lot of work when it comes to emotional attachment. He literally has only few people he even told about Cora-san, that being Bepo, Penguin, Shachi and Luffy. Would he "get it on" with any of them then? I think not, unless he decides this is The Relationship on the same level of commitment he had to Cora-san, at the very least. But yeah, those are your potential targets in the "sex with friends" department, no others on the horizon for now! Also it wouldn't be an easy fling, this guy is traumatized and *it will* get in the way of any sex he could attempt to have, which means he would probably not be getting any at the end of the day, simple as that.
As for the last part of your question: I think he is more of a giver than receiver. He would definitely spoil his significant other to no end, no matter if it's about dating, friendships or sex. Pampering someone who is dear to him is very important to him, because he lost so many people he cared about and he craves to show his care in some way and to have someone to care for. Unless he eventually just clams up due to his trauma, which is as likely. The trauma is exactly the reason why his love would be so overwhelming.
That being said he probably wouldn't mind to be on receiving end and get spoiled as well, because he likes equality in human relations (I mean actual human relations, not just him ordering strangers around!). He needs to feel loved and to give love back, but… surprisingly I think he would also be alright if his love is one-sided and if he would never try to "go for it". And that's why ultimately I think he sways to be the "giver" more than "receiver". But it's pretty damn close at the end of the day, because he is really love starved, isn't he?
Tumblr media
Thank you, anon! This ask made my day <3 without you, your enthusiasm, and other lovely people like you enjoying reading my insights, I wouldn't even start sharing them. Many of my posts are actually inspired by all the positive energy I received here, many of you have given me a lot of ideas, in one way or another, thanks to your reblog tags, asks etc. So believe me, the gratefulness is definitely mutual :D

Note
Random question ik, but sometime ago I remember that an Anon asked you the kind of relationship you headcanoned for the four Hollow Heads, and you said that you used a brotherly one
So, I have two questions regarding them
1, do you consider Vic and Chosen as twins, moatly bc they were created just months apart and looked identical before Vic's change of looks in Wanted?
And 2, how do you think they would interact if they were all created in an Au where things were all fine? Like, a paceful Au where nothing bad happened?
Just asking bc your ideas scratch my brain just right every time xhxbxkxnx-
(This post ended up a long longer than i planned... Oops. Hope you don't mind a bit of rambling)
Okay, a bit of clarification first: when i said i see them more as siblings i meant that if i had to choose i would lean more towards a brotherly bond. Obviously, none of them are related outside of being made by one creator in canon and in my art and things i write i usually stick to it outside of some obvious OOC or fanon moments (that Dark dancing gif, or almost all of the memes).
First question
... is rather easy, to get an answer for it, it's enough to just look at my designs of them. And their designs are fairly different, while still sharing a few details that i knowingly apply to all of the mainline hollowheads (mainline - Legacy Trio - MCs of their respective AvAs - Vic, Chosen and Second). If anything, Victim and Chosen's designs are the most different two among the ones i have among hollowheads because of how different they are as people.
Although, i will lie if i say it was entirety my doing. Victim's design was at first a suggestion from a friend, who liked an idea of Victim being a ninja, so my OG design of him was heavily inspired by more stereotypical Japanese ninga outfits (yes stereotypical. Not actual ones and i did it knowingly because Vic was made by an american highschooler), while chosen got the "US military man" treatment. But this was before AvA6(season 3) came about and i had to rework my Victim design.
Here are a few examples of how Vic's design had changed:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Later i also changed his pants and shoes to resemble the og design more, as i thought dress trousers were a bit too boring for him to wear.
Okay this part had lasted for... A lot longer than it should have...
Second question
... is quite complicated, not gonna lie... It's kinda hard to imagine how non-traumatized Chosen would act. Same goes for Victim without insecurities, not even mentioning that Dark would either not exist in the first place, or be a totally different person.
Hmmm... But, assuming from what we know of them already, i think they'll get along both amongst eachother and with Alan. I think Vic would still feel a bit insecure about his lack of abilities, but Alan would probably try to make up for it by allowing Vic free acess to his toolbar, like he did with Second. And Vic, being as smart as he is, would find ways to go almost en-par with Chosen's powers using only the tools.
Oh also, i can 100% see Vic playing Chess with Alan, or playing something like Sudoku, Minesweeper or Solitaire while Alan is asleep and Chosen quite often doing something to mess with his games. Vic would be angry at Chosen for ruining his streak, which would lead to them fighting in a half-joking manner.
I don't envy Alan in this AU waking up to see his homescreen completely destroyed. The two culprits would then have to face a scolding.
... Again.
They then proceed to do the same thing again.

Childish but smart reader doesn't like him
Tumblr media
[ PLATONIC HEADCANONS ] [ Toru Oikawa ] [ Haikyuu!! ]
Tumblr media
× This is inspired in Joseph (from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure)
When I thought of it i find it really funny because they are somehow so similar that it would be really difficult for both to get along
This is my first time writing for Haikyuu and with JoJo so i really hope I made it right 😣 I really REALLY love both so i hope I didn't mess it up
Tumblr media
Aoba Johsai had become one of the more powerful volleyball teams not just because of the players on the team but because the amazing captain, the one who manage to bring out the full potential of each one, but behind that perfect image everyone has of him Oikawa is someone who tend to overwork himself and gets nervous and insecure when things get difficult, so someone like you will totally represent a problem for him (but not exactly on the volleyball)
Is obvious that you two won't get along for a while at first, but it could depend a little on when you met him, when he still were with Kageyama he was still more a volleyball enthusiast without much experience and even when he was pretty good he wasn't the best and that make him feel really nervous, and since you tend to speak your mind off usually make things worst for him. However if you meet him in Aoba Johsai then you two will have more problems for his attitude
From his part he doesn't want to relate to you because you are really annoying in his eyes, as well as too lazy for not wanting to train or even a coward for wanting to give up when you had to play with a stronge team. While for your part you don't want to relate to him for how much attention he get, calling him egocentric and smug, or even saying that he is overrated and womanizing
You two are pretty stubborn and childish leading you to have a lot of problems and confrontations, and even when at some point you two reach the point where you get more childish problems than actual serious problems it still give the trainer (and Hajime) headaches
Is truly a problem for everyone but now that you two are in the volleyball club there is nothing more you can do than try to work together. Besides, your strange rivality could lead both to train harder and improve (but it isn't like Oikawa needs more reasons to overwork himself)
Besides as much as Oikawa hates you he doesn't let that stop him from playing volleyball, his feelings for you doesn't stop him from learning how to take advantage of your habilities in the game, and that is what could give the two of you an opportunity to stop being so stubborn an finally give a chance
Oikawa is a really good captain that can read people and take advantage of others weakness and strengths during the game, and since he is kinda prideful it bothers him that you read him too, that is supoused to be his work! and even so you just do it to annoy him, so even when you two manage to somehow become friends that still bothers the hell out of him (but just answer in a childish manner, like sticking out his tongue to you)
As much as he hate it Oikawa can't deny that your flexibility and adaptability to the situation as well your fast mind to analyze and make plans is of great help, he hate it because he is the captain and he was proud of being the one doing it but your own hability is amazing (even your unpredictablity), so once you two finally give you the chance to try it quickly becomes a powerful match
With or without intention Oikawa end up using your prideful/competitive side against you, teasing you and saying that you probably just are scare of losing against him to make you practice
What started with hate for each others quickly becomes a weird friendship and rivality thanks to the volleyball, and everyone can tell when you two started to just be friends because when you two fight went from being scary and dangerous to just like watching to little kids fight

FSR rambles PT 2
FSR rambles PT 2
More stuff I like about my own comic (Head cannons about why stuff is the way it is too)
Tumblr media
So like, yeah Vio had a panic attack. He’s relatable to me. UwU (I write shit I can relate too. Lmao. Deal with it. X’D)
Also Vaati’s curse: Dark Link, I won’t say too much about his “Powerset” or what he does since most of yall can deduce so far what he “Can” do atm.
Smth about Vio/the four swords gang that has always struck me is:
HOW EXACTLY ARE THEY SPLIT UP? (Not physically, I think they’re magical bodies and Link’s body is somewhere in the spiritual realm but that’s a head cannon)
Like, it’s not just “They reflect emotions” that breaks down after Blue and Red. Anger and “sad/emotional” respectively. Green’s like a weird husk of the original Link. (Like…Idk he basically acts like any other Link in any other manga but bland. X’D which is why I gave him depression in FSR. He's infamously the most under- memed character in FS. He’s effectively bootleg/dollar store Link. Worse without the other 4 and bare bones Link by himself. Flavorless Link if you would. Watered down fountain soda because you added too much ice Link.)
Vio, at least, is really hard to pin down what part of the link he IS. (At least imo)
Let’s break down Vio’s traits:
At the start of the manga, he’s selfish, lowkey, rude/blunt, the ‘Smart” one (All of them are smart in their own ways tho so that’s not ALL.) He’s cunning, manipulative, rather cold, and generally “Negative” traits.
I think he’d be insecure about that. Identity crisis. Because well, he IS mostly “negative” traits. Or at least ones that are SEEN as negative and it’s obvious to ME at least, he feels alienated from the other 3. He comes off as lacking empathy too.
Basically: Vio’s own moral ambiguity makes him very uncomfortable. Because there’s no outrunning it.
Tumblr media
This frame is fun, because Vio was reaching for his sword which, because he’s in the “Headspace” , wasn't there. But as Shadow Link mentions later, Vio was reaching for it in reality too.
Tumblr media
I’ve gone on my rant, but imo this was a bold faced LIE. X’D
WHY DID YA DROP THE SWORD THEN FUCKER???
Tumblr media
Lol so this is a headcanon:
But basically: Why the hell would Vio formulate a plan with Shadow Link (One that even guarantees Zelda's safety as if he was REALLY trying to make it work…), just to drop it in favor of a “Quicker” solution?
He was uncomfortable as hell by Shadow Link’s confession, so decided “Yup, mirror shattering time.” Emotions make him uncomfortable. Especially Shadow Link’s because the very act of manipulating Shadow Link is very Un-heroic of him.
He couldn’t play the long game because it made him realize his own “Failings” as a hero, but that was the OG plan after gathering his thoughts in the woods. (At least to me.)
Infiltrate/get friendly with Shadow Link, find out who or what is behind Vaati after learning of “Gannon”, destroy Vaati, save Zelda and defeat Gannon.
He went with Mirror shattering because: 1. It makes the most logical sense. Cut off Gannon’s power supply AND destroy Vaati. Shadow link is an unfortunate victim but “It’s worth it”
I find it funny BLUE is said to be the one who’s “Willing to do anything to win” When I feel that is WAY more applicable to Vio. X’D Bitch was willing to do a LOT to save Zelda and defeat Vaati. And...similar to how he states at the beginning of the manga "Team schmeam I don't need any help". He goes off to invade the enemies ranks ALONE.
Art wise the Vaati wings on Dark link block out and make fire lol. Which I imagine makes Vio uncomfortable after that whole “Almost getting burned alive from lava” thing.
Tumblr media
This is smth brought up in the twilight princess manga, which is fun because Vio’s outfit is very similar to that Link’s. X’D
The weight of being a hero and it's title being a heavy burden for whoever is "Link" at the time.
Now that Vio isn’t “The hero” doing something towards a hero goal, “Who the fuck is he?” FSR is kinda a thing where it's like "Okay sure Vaati's here...but he's like...a non issue lmao" they're kinda aimless. Who are they if not THE HERO. LINK.
Tumblr media
Hahahaha
Okay these frames are so pretentious but here we go:
Dark Link is literally his insecurities being suffocating. X’D
Specifically: Considering Shadow’s words and his status as a hero.
Also all the eyeball imagery, so many people watching him fail/judging him.
Fun things art wise: Human teeth are scary as fuck.
I like the panel where Dark Link hugs him. Because an embrace can either be VERY UNCOMFORTABLE or very comforting depending on the context. Here it is very much NOT a comforting hug.
Also side note: Dark Link might come off as “Confusing” as a character…He’s very INTERESTING as the series goes on.
Tumblr media
Vio snapped out of it but he’s still ain’t okay lol. Shadow Link didn’t hear Dark Link’s part of the “conversation” so he really just heard Vio mumbling utter nonsense. That would be scary as hell. Especially when he’s reaching for his weapon like dayum I’d cry too Shadow.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
~Shadow Link blames himself~
He still feels like he’s on eggshells around Vio, he's aware their relationship atm isn't very stable.
Tumblr media
Lol so this is some of that sexy “Character development” i keep joking about with Shadow Link.
He’s still  a creature of darkness but he cares very deeply about Vio.
Tumblr media
Lol so smth you may notice is how: I fucking love how SINCERE Shadow Link is as a character. Like bro puts on a spooky act, but he’s just a sweet little guy that wants friends and he’s super open with his feelings. (I think he was just talkin’ his feelings in the woods too but that’s a head cannon. X’D He’s so weirdly soft with Vio out in the woods like…Bro)
It was a trait that bit him in the ass as a villain but I think that it shows that he is a good boy on the inside.
Tumblr media
Lol so we all know how much Shadow Link hates pity, he doesn’t pity Vio, he emphasizes. And i think bro just really wanted to be hugs (HE’S SO TOUCH STARVED LMAO)
Even lines like “They’re all a big happy family in the dark world” (Paraphrased) show to me Shadow just REALLY wants a support system/family/SOMEONE he can rely on. X’D
So he says shit he wishes someone had said to him.
Also he hasn’t been able to physically HOLD someone in 7 years, Shadow Link misses physical touch like crazy.
Tumblr media
Hug didn’t work lol.
Vio’s still frazzled.
Tumblr media
I fucking love Shadow Link’s face “CURSE WHA-” like Vio’s really talking utter nonsense and it’s kinda funny ngl.
Vio didn't mention Dark Link so, to Shadow Link: Vio brought this up just because he's spiraling atm.
Tumblr media
*cough cough* “You’re guy’s house” *cough cough* he doesn’t consider it HIS house too…
Continues to apologize for…nothing. Ouch.
Tumblr media
Still blames himself for setting Vio off- oof.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lol. Everything Vio says in the library is very telling of how he feels the pressure to be the one to come up with a plan to fix things. Because “He’s the smart one”. Even when LITERALLY NO ONE has put said pressure on him to fix things as Blue and Green outright don’t wish to be Link again, and Red complained back in the headspace
Tumblr media
*Dies* Shadow Link is best boy. He tries to hard. TTuTT
Also Vio continuously gripping Shadow Link because he wants Shadow Link close to him.
Tumblr media
You can tell he isn’t trying to hug Vio anymore because that didn’t work lmao. He touches Vio a lot less and only in comforting ways (Patting his arm, his head, rubbing his arm ex), Vio’s actually the one who keeps pulling him closer.
Tumblr media
Vio is correct here: He’s TECHNICALLY in no physical danger.
Dark link choking him in the headspace didn't do squat to him. It’s Vio’s own thoughts that are fucking with him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lol that statement is very bloated. Vio realized “Holy shit, he’s still here after EVERYTHING.”
The manipulation in the past, the panicking.
Shadow Link’s just, still there for him. He isn’t leaving, and shows no sign of wanting too.
Tumblr media
100% accurate. Shadow has no obligation to be helping Vio rn in any way. At all. Especially after how Vio’s treated him. Shadow's even looking for books to help with the curse that MAY OR MAY NOT even be affecting Vio for all Shadow Link knows.
Cause Shadow link: Is cool.
Tumblr media
Lol so he DOES wanna be touched.
Tumblr media
Okay funny story about pages 63-65 : These look so sketchy because I literally was like “doing line art for these expressions would ruin them” So they’re sketches. X’D
About the panels themselves: Shadow Link’s response to getting thanked in the manga makes me think he REALLY wants to do good things and get complimented for them. So when Vio thanks him (Smth he didn’t expect) he gets embarrassed.
Tumblr media
Vio is FINALLY HONEST WITH SOMEONE ABOUT HOW HE FEELS.
He can’t run from it anymore lmao. So he has no choice but to tell him.
Lmao funny story: OG draft Shadow Link laughed at the "I'm a bad person" line. X’D
I’m glad I cut it but it also would have been very funny because like…Objectively no. Vio you’re not a “typical” bad person. And from Shadow’s perspective Vio is anything BUT a “Bad” person. He’s the “Hero”.
Tumblr media
While not directly apologizing, Vio does admit to feeling like utter shit for what he did. Which is, SOMETHING. “Sorry ma i goofed up” vibes. XD
Tumblr media
Lol. Of course you don’t. Simp- I say as a joke. But fr, from Shadow's perspective, this is kinda a weird admission. Vio's "Naughty" if you'd word it that way- X'DDDDD
Tumblr media
*Implodes*
Okay fr out of ANYONE he could have shape shifted into during the vaati fight…Shadow Link chose VIO.
We know he can look like Green, so…The choice to look like Vio was very…deliberate. X’D
Almost like he looks up to him or smth...
Vio being utterly bamboozled by this information. X'D "YOU WHAT!?"
Fun thing about this being a fan comic: I can make them explicitly gay. X’DDD SO THEY ARE.
And that's all for now. I might do more later with more pages. X'D
It's fun to just, go off about my own crap. Cause I only get to do that with my friends usually.

It's Bound by Fate ramble time again. Love that the au smackdown is making me focus real hard on this au lol.
First I have... some plans for other characters besides those that have been mentioned so far. I would love to go into detail about those plans but uuuuuuh spoilers? Cause it would be very hard to talk about it without revealing stuff about Sonic that will be revealed later in the fic lol. Just know that there's currently some plans for Shadow, Blaze, and Silver for sure. Still playing around with some others. I would also very much like to fit Amy in somewhere I just need to figure out where.
I want to so very much talk about Sonic and Knuckles' eventual relationship (for those of you that haven't checked out the fic on ao3 Sonknux is gonna happen eventually, but not for a while) buuuuut I sorta wanna let it play out? Ah the downside of still having the main fic ongoing. I must tread the line of what is safe for me to talk about.
Instead I shall talk about Sonic and Tails, since the two met before the start of the fic that is safe from spoilers. Woo! Warning this might get kinda long and slightly disjointed. I have many thoughts.
They are pretty damn close as you might expect. Tails really looks up to Sonic and still feels like he owes Sonic since the hedgehog helped him. Sonic has told Tails so many times that they're even since Tails saved Sonic's life first anyway. As the two hang out more Tails starts to really come out of his shell and Sonic is so happy to see his best friend living his best life.
Tails after a while of getting to know Sonic does become pretty worried about him. You know with all the never wanting to stay in one place, the being slightly on edge around people, and particularly his pretty much constant lack of sleep. Whenever Tails voices those concerns though Sonic easily brushes them off and Tails isn't quite confident enough to push it.
The two rub off on each other a lot. Tails has managed to make Sonic a bit more responsible and do less of jumping into unknown situations headfirst with no plan. Sonic has in turn helped Tails learn how to have fun and well perhaps been a bit of a bad influence. Even though Tails is smart he's still a kid, and the allure of Sonic dragging him off to do some cool thing that may or may not be dangerous is gonna be hard to ignore. The two have landed themselves in a bit of trouble over the years but it wasn't anything too serious. They both typically speak fondly of these experiences.
Tails has offered to pack up and travel with Sonic a lot but Sonic refuses it every time. He'd love to have some sort of traveling companion, something he'll get later in the form of Knuckles, but he doesn't want to risk dragging his best friend into any real danger. He mostly just wants to keep Tails safe from the people that don't take too kindly to his werehog form.
Sonic visits as often as he can, Tails' house/workshop is the closest thing he has to a home. He does wish a lot of the time he could stay in one place for longer because he really does love spending time with Tails. It's just after too long he just gets restless and sort of becomes hard to be around. He's never really known why that is but he chalks it up to something related to his speed.
Tails is endlessly fascinated by both Sonic's speed and his werehog form. With permission he's run some tests to see if he can figure out what's going on but those usually result in exploded equipment. Sonic apologizes profusely every time even if it isn't actually his fault. Tails of course never blames him for it either.
The two are also rather protective of each other, and they show it in different ways. For Sonic he has no issues stepping in if someone is mean to Tails or tries to hurt him. He's gotten into a few short fights on Tails' behalf. Tails himself finds it sort of nice that Sonic is willing to literally fight for him, but he tries to discourage it as much as possible. Tails is a bit more subtle about his protectiveness. His go to thing is to plot some revenge scheme for after the fact. These have certainly terrified some people enough that they've never tried to mess with Sonic again. Sonic is oblivious to the fact that Tails does this sometimes; he does think it's weird that stuff will sometimes happen to people that mess with him though.
Sonic really values their friendship and does privately consider Tails his little brother but he's never called the fox that out loud. He has no idea if Tails feels the same and Sonic isn't exactly the best person at picking up social ques. Tails 100% feels the same but he's still too timid to say anything in fear of Sonic reacting badly.
These two take every opportunity to cuddle or be close to each other. Both really got no physical affection growing up and are severely touch starved. Luckily the two are on the same page here and are happy to show physical affection to each other. Besides cuddling there's a lot of hugs and head pats. Tails especially likes to cuddle with Sonic in werehog form since his fur is thicker.
@au-sonic-smackdown I suppose these rambles could count for propaganda huh?

the yuuji is seen stupid talk is so much applying the stereotype that only maths makes you smart. it's done to gon too. even though these characters are very quick learners and smart and knowledgeable in non math related ways. it is done in universe as well, this kind of belief that there’s only a specific way to be smart. if i remember correctly, there are cultural reasons for this, rooted in classism sexism, racism and ableism. but even in the more leftist fandom circles it’s still quite pervasive. i guess it’s one of those transparent biases so ingrained in us that we don’t even think about them.
for example in both these cases they have very high emotional intelligence, when someone like gojou or megumi don’t. killua actually has pretty high emotional intelligence, he’s a more balanced character, like gon.
and i think in both cases, gon and yuuji, it’s because of the surface level comments other characters make.
killua calls gon dumb and gon can’t do maths and it’s like well it’s settled. but also killua admires gon like a lot, he respects gon’s skill implicitly, he relies on gon’s abilities. maybe because killua is there to infodump about the world sometimes and gon’s upbringing was more sheltered, the fandom believes that killua is smarter. which really isn’t the case. and killua is actually quite stupid in some ways, he over relies on his supposed knowledge and loses a lot of their money. sigh.
if one treats intelligence and smarts holistically gon and killua are really well and closely matched.
with yuuji it’s kind of more upsetting. because for example gojou may be a top tier cursed energy user and he can aquire knowledge really fast due to his cursed technique but he’s irresponsible af, he’s a very bad teacher, his plan of changing the jujutsu world is a nothing burger and not like he’d advanced it very far before kenjaku sealed him. and kenjaku outsmarted him with not much pushback from gojou. and his emotional intelligence is in single digits.
megumi is not much better either. his life philosophy is not very smart. it kinda feels like he read one philosophy book and internalised it to repeat it. he’s so enamoured with it that he needs to be shocked into thinking deeply about what he actually believes in. he may have a lot of knowledge but that makes him good at school. he had no idea how to go about his cursed technique, he only started advancing in it once sukuna pushed him and yuuji’s advancement shamed him. and his emotional intelligence is mediocre, i mean he’s better than gojou but that bar is on the floor.
when it comes to intelligence and smarts yuuji is kinda on average evenly matched with someone like gojou because gojou breaks the chart in one category and barely has anything in others.
but compared to megumi? yuuji comes out on top imo. megumi’s development was in the gutter before yuuji showed up and later megumi piggybacked on yuuji’s advancement a lot. and yuuji feels far more adaptive than megumi, he is also more level headed in dangerous situations. megumi still does well in fights and figures out stuff but when you compare the experience and knowledge about jujutsu he has to yuuji’s, things he does kind of lose their wow factor. it’s like, well it’d be embarrassing if couldn’t do it, you know, especially with how highly he thinks of himself.
and megumi uses hard words and jargon, and is eloquent, and also speaks in a decisive way. he projects certain and expertise that imo he shouldn’t feel that entitled to. but it impresses and intimidates yuuji because he’s not bookish. also spewing jargon is kind of cringe, like when it’s no in an insular nerd on nerd situation it kinda signals insecurity more than intelligence.
it’s kinda irritating that in world characters are annoyed at yuuji’s lack of knowledge. it kinda shows that they aren’t very smart themselves because they expect a person with no prior experience or education in jujutsu to have the knowledge they’ve been gathering for years. again, this reflects on them not on yuuji.

What does Crow think of the Main Three and each of the clique leaders?
Oh boy this is gonna be a long one. Buckle up.
Jimmy: Crow likes Jimmy. He'd probably still sell him stuff even after he loses all the cliques respect. (That's the neat part about him being non-clique, he doesn't let the clique drama influence him as much) He'd also give Jimmy some quests mostly relating to his side business and split the paycheck with him. He doesn't take Jimmy's tough guy attitude that seriously and he doesn't think he's especially smart but he still respects him. Also he would encourage Jimmy to ask for more payment when it comes to doing stuff for the preps. He'd say something like "come on, there's no harm in leeching a bit more cash off of rich people. I mean they're the real parasites." And then go off on a tangent about why rich people should pay more taxes and Jimmy's there like "uhuh can you give me my money now?" (Also he calls him Jimothy 90% of the time)
Gary: He doesn't like Gary much but has no real beef with him. He will still sell him stuff unless he has a real reason to suspect Gary's going to do something that's against Crow's own morals. While Crow is by no means a manipulator like Gary he's still a good liar and recognizes Gary as one too. He's not 100% immune to his manipulation but he's wary of him and always takes everything he says with a grain of salt. On the other hand he also feels bad for him because he clearly has a shitty home life and antisocial behavior and no one around to really support him or be a positive influence. Of course that doesn't excuse his behavior but Crow can still pity him about it. He would still give him some harsh words for his choice of halloween costume though.
Pete: He's not exactly friends with Pete but he's friendly with him. He acknowledges him when he's in the room, gladly sells him stuff for cheap (although I doubt Pete uses his services much) and will stand up for him if he sees him getting bullied. But when that happens and Pete thanks him he just goes "don't mention it" before leaving. You can have your own interpertation of Pete's orientation but he gets teased for "liking boys" too much for it to not be at least somewhat true (whether that's gay or bi or pan) and since Crow is open about liking boys he's kinda looking out for Pete in that sense despite them not being friends. Though he wouldn't say that part out loud. He's not interested in Pete like that but he feels a certain responsibilty to look our for him as one of Bullworths few out and proud guys.
Now for the clique leaders.
Earnest: Crow thinks Earnest is weird and pervy and doesn't like him. He used to deal him some dirty magazines before he started asking him to do a panty raid. Crow kept refusing until he had enough and told Earnest he's no longer doing any business with him. Other nerds are still welcome though. Crow might just be a bit suspicious whenever one of the nerds approaches him, just in case Earnest sent them in his place. In general he tends to avoid Earnest. It's kind of a shame because I think Crow would like to play some Grottos and Gremlins.
Russell: If Russell wasn't the leader of the bullies I think Crow would like to have him as a body guard. He'd like having some big dumb guy as the muscle for those moments where brains can't help you out. Crow can fight but he's still better at talking his way out of stuff. He tends to like Russell and gladly does business with the bullies. However, if the bullies are planning on something that he finds unethical he will politely try to negotiate or simply tell them he doesn't want to be involved in that. He would never admit it out loud but he is a little afraid of Russell and the other bullies.
Derby: Scum of the earth. Spoiled, snobby, inbred brat. Privileged egomaniac. Crow thinks his family is destroying the earth for pure financial gain and that makes him angry (you know, Harrington oil). Crow will usually maintain his chill persona around Derby just to not give him the satisfaction of getting under his skin. He likes to pretend to be unbothered and often gets annoyingly smug about it whenever Derby needs his services, but if there's one person who can get the rise out of him the fastest, it's Derby. He's the one person in school Crow's most likely to get into a random fist fight with. If they're outside it's also pretty common that Crow spits on the ground whenever Derby and the preppies walk past him. If he gets called out for it he usually maintains innocence and claims he just "happened to spit on the ground at that time" and "god you think everything is about you"
Johnny: Johnny and Crow are basically friends. Not the worlds closest friends but still friends. Crow often hangs out with the greasers and he very gladly does business with them as well. He is very confused by Lola though and doesn't think her and Johnny's relationship is good for them, but he doesn't see it as his place to comment on it. Lola has probably tried to hit on Crow which Crow rejected and later told Johnny about like "hey your gf is cheating on you again". Instead Johnny got mad at him and that was probably their only actual argument. Now they're chill though. Lola's still a bit mad at him but they still hang together with the rest of the group.
Ted: Crow does business with Ted and the other jocks, but he doesn't have much respect for them. Not only does he dislike authority and the jocks are at the top of the school's food chain, but he also dislikes the way they put brawn over brians. He has no personal beef with the jocks, unlike the preps, but he might often refer to Ted as "the missing link" and the other jocks as "neanderthals". He doesn't like them, but he doesn't bother to mess with them. He also dislikes Ted's womanizing behavior.
Idk enough about Edgar to give you Crows opinion on him. He doesn't have that much screen time but being a townie Crow probably has him as a contact for any of his smuggling.

How would you characterize Lloyd/Suho’s relationship with Alicia in Tged? I’ve just started the webcomic and I find their dynamic so fascinating despite that they’re not the main relationship of the series.
it's. it's hard to describe. and tbh i'm not the best person to ask. i am not a lloyd/alicia shipper and i was too fascinated by every single other of lloyd's relationships that i think i missed when their relationship started to shift into a more personal one.
lloyd respects alicia, he knows she's a tolerant, fair and just queen, he feels relatively safe that she won't screw him over for no reason and knows he has her absolute trust. he's kind of afraid of her tho lol like not because he thinks she's evil or anything but simply because, well, she's the queen. you gotta treat royalty carefully. and alicia is the kind of ruler that wants to squeeze the last bit of use of her subjects, not without fair compensation of course but still, she isn't the kind of person who likes to see a competent person just lazying around when she can put them to use to the betterment of her kingdom. so that's. not good for lloyd's plans lol
as for alicia... she mainly thinks he's a very smart, very competent, very stingy and petty person lmao. he's cunning and insolent and lazy and capable and she kinda likes him. he's frustrating but he's trustworthy. he's annoying but he's reliable. he's cheap but he's hardworking. he's exactly the kind of person she wants working for her.
"A competent individual was to be used. Ignoring one's talent was wasteful, and it bordered on being sinful. The more tired capable individuals became, the more prosperous the kingdom and people's lives became." <- alicia's ideology and lloyd's worst fears lol
she knows exactly what he wants and how very non-ambitious he is. that he wants to live an ordinary life and he's just itching to be free of having to work. she is absolutely not up for that lol
so like. they're both extremely smart people. intellectually they're pretty much equals. but when it comes to their power dynamic i always feel a bit iffy tbh 😅 i really didn't like the change they made to the webcomic where alicia outright threatens to invade the frontera fiefdom if lloyd doesn't do the work she has for him. most of their interactions is either her summoning him for a job or lloyd going to her to offer something in exchange for her help or to avoid a disaster. and when it comes to their flirting it mainly boils down to alicia flustering lloyd and lloyd just,,, accepting it ig jakshdska
i don't know! i feel like a missed a huge chunk of the novel! like! honestly! at the end of the novel, lloyd says that when he was struggling with his despair back in korea that two people he thought the most about was javier and the queen. javier because he was like a brother who had always been there with him. and the queen because he'd never told her about his feelings. and like???? what feelings??? when did that happen?????? we have 400+ chapters of lloyd and javier's relationship growing and changing and evolving and then we have,,, i'm not sure how many chapters are about lloyd and alicia interacting actually, sorry, but they're not nearly enough for me to believe he would think about her an equal amount to someone he spent the better part of the last few years of his life with or to, y'know, his found family, the one he also spent years coming to know and love.
my feelings about their relationship are very tainted by my frustration that the author seemingly couldn't bring himself to give lloyd a happy ending that didn't involve him getting married to the only female side character who was 1) not related to him, 2) already in a relationship with someone else and 3) who's character development was directly related to her not having to marry for duty. it just. it had to end with him marrying for it to be a happy ending apparently.
so i'm really not the best person to ask about them i'm so, so sorry alskdhlasd

risu.. you and haitham…. i must know the lore
awea thank u sm for asking ! when i saw this i was so excited :3 but also panicked bc i was like 🗯️ head empty ‼️😭
gonna place this all under the cut <3
so i think that we met thru kaveh, since kaveh and i are best friends ! we have a lot of the same shared friends so its natural that we met.
i think my personality is similar to alhaitham’s so while at first i’m a little intimidated, i grow to understand him more once we hangout enough. i feel like we both can relate to being misunderstood by people, so we confide in that.
kaveh is obnoxious and he catches on very fast to me liking alhaitham (literally went on a whole rant about how i can have better taste in men). bc he’s still an angel though, he does help me by being wingman. he knows i can be shy, so he kinda pushes me to do things (ex. leaving me alone in the room with alhaitham when i come over their house) with alhaitham.
now we all know alhaitham is pretty smart and observant so he’d probably pick up on the fact that i like him. i think we have good engaging conversations on things and i always ask abt things he reads and his work.
i think i’m kinda oblivious to flirting but alhaitham is so straightforward that things don’t really have the chance to go over my head…the first time he asked me to dinner, i asked if we should invite kaveh, to which he said no, because he wants to get to know me better personally with no ‘interruptions’ 😭.
i think the more we hangout (we have book dates even before actual dating) with just the two of us, i eventually realize he reciprocates feelings since he is strong about how he spends his time. when i ask him if he does, he only tells me that it took me long enough to realize. when i ask why he didn’t make a move, it was because he wanted me to be comfortable enough around him, but ultimately would’ve said something had things gone for too long.
i have to think more abt this but i’m damn well sure kaveh went on a tangent about not breaking my heart or hurting my feelings to him. of course he doesn’t feel threatened by that because of course he never plans to. ^_^

ateezxcriminalminds au plan sorta
-> way overdue overview of this criminal minds x atz au 🥱
so i'll probably post a drabble on this later but rn this is kinda jst my idea on what the members' personalities will be like...anyways...
---
Hongjoong:
so Joong is pretty much like Hotch even though they're nothing alike. they present themselves differently but there are a few similarities between them. he's the leader of the group which is pretty much the whole reason i related him to Hotch in the first place. Joong is also a hardworker who doesn't really know how to take a break. he's very committed and passionate and supportive of his members which is again like Hotch.
Seonghwa:
Hwa reminds me of JJ. he's hardworking and organized which reminds me a lot of JJ. he seems like he would do very well in comforting people when informing them of something bad. (which is a big part of her job.) also she deals a lot with the press and the way Hwa is easily able to change between his normal self and stage presence self makes me think that he would be good at being in front of a camera.
San:
San gives off Morgan vibes with a mix of Hotch if that makes sense. he's very much a logical person which also makes him understanding. he knows when to joke and if he maybe takes something too far he can admit that he did and apologize for it. if he does something wrong he most likely wont realize it until someone else points it out. also he just seems like the type to like kicking down doors and tackling people. he enjoys his job a lot but sometimes he questions whether or not if he wants to keep doing it.
Yunho:
Yunho is 100% Garcia. they both give off golden retriever/puppy dog sunshine energy. Yunho loves his job most definitely. he's very intuitive and knows when something is wrong with his members. he's always there to talk and he loves being able to be that kind of emotional support. he's funny and witty. he definitely knows how to lighten the mood and just very positive in general.
Wooyoung:
Wooyoung for me is the hardest to place. he's a really good mix of Morgan, Garcia, and Prentiss. he's very playful and childish but he's also very emotional. he's the first to crack a joke but can also be the first to feel attacked if someone shoots a joke back. he's most definitely hardworking and whenever need be he knows how to get serious. he tries to lighten the mood because sometimes his job can be overwhelming to him since his personality is way different than it.
Jongho:
Jongho is most definitely a mix between Luke, Hotch, and Prentiss. his is gonna be short because i feel like his personality mix for this au just kinda makes sense. he's hardworking. he likes to joke but he's quiet most of the time. everyone thought he was pretty uptight at first but after a while they realized he's just a huge softy.
Yeosang:
Yeo is a mix of Reid and Garcia. he's the type to be very logical and witty. he's smart but not the type of smart that Reid is (meaning he doesn't info dump all the time. dw i love Reid and his info dumping sm 🫢) but he's the type of smart that's quiet about his brain and uses it to his advantage to make you feel a little dumb - meaning if you say something wrong he'll casually correct you, if you don't know something/you're struggling and you ask him for help, he'll figure it out really quick making you feel dumb for not being able to get it. he gives very much golden-retriever vibes but a little watered down if that makes sense.
Mingi:
Mingi is kind of a mix between Reid, Garcia, and Morgan. he's funny, smart, hardworking, witty, energetic, and determined. he knows what he wants and he goes for it. he tries his best but sometimes he feels like he's not as good at his job as everyone else is. he gets overwhelmed fairly easily which leads him to be all over the place at times. once he composes himself, though, he's ready to go again. he's very much a people pleaser.
---
-> note, these don't accurately reflect ateez in real life nor the characters in the show. these views are just how i think each member would act if they had to be categorized into personality charts that are based off of the BAU members. (i hope that makes sense.)
anyways it took me all day to write this so expect a drabble within the next week because i'm a lil too tired for it now. 😍 bye pooks <3
