I went out yesterday and I think I scared a lot of people without wanting to again. It's worse when you can tell and they get all quiet when you walk by.
I must admit I kind of get a kick out of scaring but in reality i'm like this picture. Precisely this vibe.
#boom speaks#I am a very sweet lady if I like you and respect you#but you better believe that you do not want to see me walking down the streets at night with no one else around#For survival I will do anything#It's also unintentional#I apparently have a resting bitch face and I furrow my brows to see things from afar which does not help my case#Sorry loves#I get a kick out of it and that makes me a psychopath I fear /j#But i really am a polite one and people find me adorable#When they know me lmao

Okay, okay, okaaaayy, fluff/crack idea, because you're my inspiration, you cheeky bastard 🤌
The husbandos just spending some lazy morning together, enjoying their time mostly just cuddling and exchanging small, sweet kisses. It was peaceful, quiet, until their penthouse neighbours got... Loud, if you know what I mean 😏. Reader completely annoyed by the disturbing noise in the morning just put on a displeased face, eyebrows furrowed, a full on resting bitch face with intention of murder in his eyes to then say that he just might go and actually murder somebody. Adam reacting with a laugh and simply daring the reader to do so, reader replying with: "Darling, do you want to see me in shuckles? Cause after I'm done, I'm definitely going to jail" and Adam just: "Oh, no no no no, I take that back, who am I supposed to kiss every morning if you go to jail? Your picture?" and reader saying: "You could kiss the glass in the jail during visit times".
Love ya 💁🏻♂️🤩
Fucking love ya too u idiot, also love being ur muse bc fuck yeah, being the inspiration for an artist feels fucking great whoop whoop
Cuffed Up
pairing: Adam x male!reader
warnings: language
note: not beta read bc fuck you I don't have beta readers
The two of you had been up for at least an hour by now but neither of you wanted to leave the bed. It was one of those lazy mornings that you and Adam loved so much, there was nowhere else for you to be today and Adam only had band practice in the evening which left plenty of time for cuddles and kisses.
You were laying on top of Adam, your head was positioned on his chest, perfect to listen to his calm heartbeat, his hands were on your ass and his wings covered both of your bodies like a soft blanket. You were simply enjoying each other's presence in peace.
At least until your neighbors decided that having morning sex loud enough for all of heaven to hear was a fucking good idea.
You lifted your head and glared at the wall that was letting the noises come through to disturb you. “What the fuck?” you mumbled, these motherfuckers had just managed to ruin your entire mood within seconds. The headboard of their bed was steadily bumping against the wall, making the entire thing even more annoying. Who the fuck was having sex at fucking 9am? Apparently those bastards of neighbors you had.
Fucking great.
“I swear if that bitch doesn't quiet down I'll head over to their apartment and stab both of them until they're fucking silent,” you grumbled with furrowed brows and a clearly displeased look on your face. The fucking audacity to disturb you and your husband at such an early time. Adam simply shot you a sharp grin as he petted your hair in order to calm you down a little and commented, “Y’know, I think you should fucking do that.”
That caused your attention to shift from the wall to Adam and you playfully raised an eyebrow at him, “Darlin’,” you breathed as you leaned in closely, your lips were almost touching his yet they stayed far away enough not to, “You wanna see me in fucking cuffs? ‘Cuz after I'm done with their fucking horny asses I'll be definitely going to jail.”
Adam weighted his opinions for a moment before he responded, “Oh hell fucking nah, while you would look absolutely fucking delicious in cuffs, I need my fucking morning kisses ‘n’ who am I supposed to kiss every fucking morning when your murderous ass is rotting in jail? Your goddamn pictures?” You simply looked down at him with a smug look on your face, “You could kiss the glass in jail during visit times.”
Adam made quick work of moving his hands from your ass to your neck and pulling you down into a heated kiss. His lips were eager to claim yours and it didn't take him long to involve his tongue. A small surprised moan escaped you and it bled into the kiss. When you pulled away just the slightest bit to catch your breath he overconfidently hissed, “The only fucking thing my lips will kiss is your fucking skin.”
His wings shoved you off of him, causing you to land next to Adam on your back. The first man was on top of you in an instant and as if to prove his words his lips started to caress your jaw, your neck, your cheeks and lips turning you into a whining and moaning mess for him.

hi Kait!! might i be able to request "Black Dahlia - a lie" with Bradley bradshaw pleaseeee thank you!
ngl i think i got a little too carried away with this but man oh man did i have fun, pls enjoy!
black dahlia: a lie, bradley "rooster" bradshaw x reader, rooster is a total simp, 2.3k
Rooster had a staring problem. Sometimes he spaced out in the middle of a training debrief without realizing he was looking straight at Phoenix the whole time, sometimes his furrowed brows made Maverick think he was angry at something when in reality he was just focused. Sometimes he creeped random people out because he just…didn’t know he was staring.
But most times, the unsuspecting focus of his staring was you. There was just something about you that had his eyes searching for you in every room he entered, drew his eyes to you every time you entered. He just couldn’t help it. Everything about you, from the way you laughed, to the way that you said his name, to the way your eyes sparkled when you smiled at him. Even the way you elbowed him in the ribs when he made a terrible joke had him hooked on you.
And you had no idea.
“Rooster. Rooster, you didn't laugh at my—what are you even looking at?” Hangman sounded deflated, but once his eyes tracked Rooster’s line of sight to you he knew what was going on in that feathery nicknamed brain of his friend. He’d known it pretty much all along. It was an unspoken thing, but he knew. Everyone knew. Everyone except you, apparently.
“Oh, I see it now. You don’t like my jokes as much as you like Y/N.”
Rooster tore his gaze from where you were chatting with Penny at the bar to see Hangman with his hands on his hips, looking entirely too smug. “Sorry, what?” His ears had picked up the blond man’s jest, but surely he’d heard it wrong.
“There’s no shame in admitting it. You have a crush on her.”
“I’m not ashamed, I’m just—”
“So you do have a crush!”
Rooster scowled, brows pinching in the middle as he gripped the neck of his beer a little tighter. “I’m a grown man, I don’t have a crush.”
“So you’re in love.”
“What? No, I’m not—we’re…friends, that’s it.”
“You’re a terrible liar, Bradshaw.” Phoenix cut in, poking him in the gut with the end of her pool cue. “Cut the shit and let us know how you really feel.”
There really wasn’t any way out of this other than to tell the truth, so he sighed. “Okay, so maybe—just maybe—I might possibly have some feelings for Y/N.”
“Yeah, and those feelings are called love,” Hangman said smugly, an ever present smirk gracing his face once again. He wasn’t wrong. He was actually right on the money, but Rooster would be damned if he let that son of a bitch know he was right.
“Screw you, Hangman. I’m not talking about this anymore.”
He thought he must’ve sounded more serious than he’d intended, because Hangman actually shut up for once, zipping his lips with an imaginary key before miming throwing it over his shoulder. Phoenix just nodded, knowing well enough not to push her luck with the subject.
Nothing about the conversation was mentioned the rest of the night, especially not when you’d made your way back over to the group of them and stayed for a while. Rooster almost forgot about it until a few days later.
Flight training had let out for the day a little later than usual, nearing half past seven when the pilots were finally trailing into the parking lot to go home.
“Up for a round at the Hard Deck, fellas?” Hangman offered. There were a few mumbled declines to the invitation scattered amongst the squad and he looked disappointed. Leave it to Hangman to still have energy for a beer after the grueling day they’d all just had.
Rooster had half a mind to say no too. All he wanted to do was go home and sit on the couch and probably do nothing for the rest of the night, that’s how tired he was. He wandered towards where he’d parked the Bronco this morning, getting almost halfway there when he heard Hangman’s voice again.
“Phoenix, c’mon, I know you’ll do me a solid this time. I’ll buy. I’ll even let you win at pool!”
“No can do, Bagman, I’m in a time crunch—gotta get to Y/N’s house.”
Upon hearing your name, Rooster froze, willing himself to walk away, but his curiosity won out very quickly. He turned around as casually as he could, hiking his duffel a little higher on his shoulder. “Everything okay?”
“Yeah, she’s fine. She asked to borrow a necklace for her date tonight, so I gotta pop over there before she heads out.” Phoenix shrugged, patting her jacket pocket. Rooster couldn’t help the way his eyebrows flew up in surprise and she noticed, knowing smile already gracing her lips. “Everything okay with you, Bradshaw?”
“Fine. It’s, uh—no, yeah everything’s good.” He mumbled, clearing his throat. Hangman coughed from behind him, sounding suspiciously like ‘bullshit’, but Rooster paid him no mind. He was more focused on the fact you were going on a date with someone else. Someone that wasn’t him.
Then again, who the fuck did he think he was, having some kind of bullshit thoughts about who you went out with. He had no right, he knew that. But that didn’t stop him from feeling like he’d just been punched in the gut.
“Hey, why don’t I drop it off for you?” He blurted, pressing his lips into a thin smile. Phoenix looked confused. He was confused at himself too, honestly. What the hell was he doing? “I just, I mean your place is the opposite way and I’m gonna pass her neighborhood anyways, so…I can do it.” Now she looked amused.
“Since when did you get all helpful and shit?”
“Pretty sure I’ve always been helpful.”
“You sure there’s no other reason why you’re volunteering to see her? None at all? Maybe one starting with L and rhyming with shove?” Hangman chimed in, grinning wickedly. Phoenix nodded in agreement, her smile now mirroring his.
“I’ll shove you, Hangman. Shut up.” Rooster said sharply. He turned his gaze back to Phoenix. “No. No other reason. I’ll drop it off on my way home and that’s it.”
It was a bold faced lie and he knew his friends saw right through it, but he didn’t really care.
“Okay. Suit yourself.” She shrugged, fishing the necklace out of her pocket and pouring it into his outstretched hand. “Would ya look at that, Bagman? Looks like I’m free to beat you at pool after all.”
“I’m not buying you a beer anymore, that was a one time offer and it’s expired,” Hangman protested, much to Phoenix’s chagrin because she scoffed.
“Like hell it has! You promised a free beer and a win, I expect you to deliver. But make an effort to play fair, don’t just throw the game ‘cause that wouldn’t be a good look for me.”
Rooster could hear their bickering until he hopped into his car, but he peeled out of the parking lot in a blink, on the move to you.
He didn’t have a wisp of a plan in his mind when he pulled to a stop in front of your place. His hands shook where they were clenched around the steering wheel and he was sweating a little bit, but he had no idea what he was going to say to you. He just knew he needed to say something.
Five minutes and countless unhelpful self pep talks later, Rooster was finally ringing the doorbell, necklace in his pocket but still no clearer on what his end goal was. His mind went even more blank when you opened the door, because shit, you were breathtaking.
You had on a pretty dress in his favorite color and you were adjusting the strap of your heel when you laid eyes on him standing on your doorstep. Putting aside the confusion on your face at the sight of him and not Phoenix, Rooster would rank this as one of his favorite moments ever.
“Bradley?” You sounded concerned, nose crinkled to match. “What are you doing here?”
“Uh…” He trailed off, probably sounding completely stupid as he blinked at you dumbfoundedly. You said his name again, a little louder this time, and he snapped out of it.
He dug around in his pocket clumsily until his fingers closed around the delicate chain and pulled it out, letting it dangle from his hand as he held it out. “Nat asked me to swing this by on my way home from base.” He didn’t want to tell you it was actually him who insisted on being the one to save the day. That would sound too weird, maybe even borderline creepy.
Your eyes lit up at the sight of your awaited necklace and you beamed, beckoning him into your front hallway. “You’re the sweetest, Bradley. Thank you so much, you really didn’t have to detour.”
“S’no problem. What’s a few more minutes on the road to help a friend?”
“Maybe a few more minutes.” You said sheepishly, looking a tad embarrassed. “D’you—would you mind helping me put it on? I’ve never been good at clasping them on my own.”
“Oh! Uh, yeah. Sure.” He moved behind you, trying not to inhale too sharply when you moved your hair off your neck. God, all he wanted to do was whirl you around and kiss you. Instead, he decided to make some small talk to get his mind out of where it shouldn’t have been in the first place. “So…you’re going on a date. With who? Maybe I know ‘em.”
“Probably not. He’s not Navy, I met him at the gym a few weeks ago. His name’s Vinny. He’s a boxer.”
Vinny. Sounded like an asshole name.
“Didn’t know boxers were your type.” He said casually, working deftly to latch the tiny hook.
“Yeah?” You sounded amused. “And what exactly do you think my type is?”
Me, he wanted to say. But he held his tongue, instead opting for a noise of nonchalance.
“That’s a shame. Would’ve thought you of all people would know.”
“Why?”
“You’ve always seemed to know me best.” You said simply. Rooster’s fingers fumbled the clasp in surprise. “When I’m down, you always know how to make me smile. When I’m upset, you seem to know exactly what’ll help. You know everything I like, everything I hate. You know me like the back of your hand. How is that?”
“I…pay attention.”
“So that means you know Hangman’s favorite song? Fanboy’s comfort movie? What about Phoenix and Bob’s secret handshake?” You weren’t facing him, so he had no idea if you were being serious or not, but he was stumped.
His mouth opened and closed like a fish out of water, brain scrambling for any shred of an excuse for not knowing any of those answers. He paid attention, yes, but only to you. Rooster’s fingers brushed along your bare shoulder softly in lieu of a response, too tender of a moment for two friends to be sharing.
“Don’t go.” He breathed. You froze, and Rooster swore it was the longest few seconds in his life. But then you turned around, wide eyes searching for his. Your lips parted like you were about to say something, but he shook his head, inhaling a shaky breath. “Don’t go on that date.”
“Why?” Your voice was impossibly quiet, so much so that he wouldn’t have heard you say anything at all had you not been this close to each other.
“Because when Phoenix mentioned it, I felt like I’d just done an inverted dive. And not in a good way, I’m talking about the ‘I’m about to puke’ feeling. Because I can’t stop thinking about you even though I should be thinking about anything else, because I don’t know what I’d do if we weren’t friends. Because I don’t wanna be just friends anymore.” Rooster admitted, trying to keep his voice as steady as possible. He was too far in now to quit and run away with his tail between his legs. This was happening, whether it was a good idea or not. “Because…I’m in love with you.”
You just blinked at him slowly, processing his words the best you could. He could practically see the wheels turning in your head, and it did nothing to quell the ball of nerves turning over in the pit of his stomach.
Forget what he was feeling earlier—this was definitely the longest few seconds of his life. It felt more like an eternity.
He was about to apologize, to say sorry for dumping out his feelings for you right before you were about to go on a date with someone else, but you beat him to the punch with something much, much better.
You grabbed him by the collar of his jacket and you kissed him. Hard.
More surprised than anything, it took him a beat to register what was actually happening, but his hands slid around your waist to splay across your back when it finally sunk in. He backed you against the nearest wall, but took special care in slipping a hand behind your head so it didn’t bounce off it, all while never letting his mouth leave yours. Your hands found their way to his broad shoulders, roaming around the expanse of flexed muscle shifting under your palms.
It wasn’t the perfect kiss. It was clumsy and messy and a little overexcited, but it was perfect to Rooster. He could only hope you were thinking the same.
He finally (albeit reluctantly) pulled away a bit, just enough to give you some air. “What do you think? Are you—does this mean what I think it means?”
You smiled, linking your hands behind his neck. “I think…I’ve come down with a nasty case of food poisoning and I need to cancel my date.” You said softly.
Rooster nodded solemnly. “And I think I should stay. Y’know, in case you need anything during this awful bout of said food poisoning.”
“That’s a good idea.”

chapter 14 sneak peek!
here's a little sneak peek of the next chapter of Juniper & Starlight. enjoy Shadowheart and Astarion being absolute bitches to each other.
***
It’s not long after Shadowheart has finished doing June’s makeup that the door to the shop opens and Astarion strides in.
“Good morning, ladies!”
June looks up and smiles at him, but Shadowheart scowls.
“I see you survived the night. A pity.”
“Someone’s not a morning person.” Astarion’s eyes linger on June’s face. “You, on the other hand, look lovely this morning, darling.”
Shadowheart rolls her eyes.
“Thanks,” June says. “How was your hunt?”
“Quite productive, actually. I eavesdropped on a few goblins before I ate them. If they’ve seemed more organized than goblins typically do, that’s because they are. I heard them talking about their leaders. One of which, apparently, is a drow.”
Shadowheart furrows her brow. “What’s a drow doing leading a bunch of goblins?”
“A good question. And one we might be able to get an answer to if we play our cards right over at the windmill.”
“Windmill?” June asks.
“I heard more goblins there when I was on my way back here. Torturing a gnome by the sound of it.”
June leaps to her feet. “We gotta get the others and go,” she says, running to the hatch.
“Why the rush?” Astarion asks. “I’m sure the goblins will still be nearby in a few hours. After I’ve had a chance to rest.”
“We gotta save that gnome,” June calls, already halfway down the ladder.
“You’re going to make me give up my rest for a gnome?”
But June is already gone. Shadowheart can hear the others beginning to stir below.
“Ugh,” Astarion groans.
“What did you really expect?” Shadowheart asks as she gathers her things. “Surely you don’t think you kiss good enough to chase the heroism out of her?”
“I kiss good enough to do a lot of things,” Astarion retorts. “I’d offer to show you, but I’m afraid I do have standards.”
“I do not know what June sees in you.”
“How funny! I was going to say the same thing about you!”
Their bickering is cut short by the sight of a fluffy white dog flying up through the open hatch.

━━━━━━༻❀༺━━━━━━
The boy lifted his large foot, slamming it toward my face. I cried out, just barely managing to dodge it. My eyes widened as his foot easily dented the car door that sat where I had been only seconds ago. This bitch is trying to kill me!
“W-Wait a minute!” I cried out, scrambling to my feet and backing away from him. “We can, we can talk about this. You don’t have to choose vio – !” My words died when I was grabbed from behind, an arm resting across my throat as a voice laughed in my ear.
“Lookie lookie, boss! I think the great Ken Sakamoto is scared!” His laugh was high-pitched like a witch’s cackle and it made me wince because it was right next to my ear.
The boss grinned widely as he approached, cracking his knuckles. “The time for talking ended when you jumped my brother!” His fist came into contact with my stomach again and I cried out, squeezing my eyes shut.
Never in my life have I felt that much pain before, not even when my parents threw me on the street!
“Get your filthy hands off him!”
The guy holding me was ripped back, punched so hard in the face that his lip split open. My savior was a boy that looked my age, standing a foot taller than me with a mess of brown hair and matching eyes. He sent me a scowl as he stood beside me, eyes narrowing at my attacker.
“What’s gotten into you, bro? Did you hit your head and forget how to fight or what?”
“I never knew how to fight!” I hissed, stepping back so he was closer to the big guy than I was.
His brow furrowed in confusion, eyes searching my own. Whatever he wanted to say died on his tongue as the boss darted forward, fist cocked. My savior dodged easily, punching the guy in the throat. The ground felt like it shook when he hit it.
Yeah, fuck this shit, I am out!
I turned on my heel and darted away, dodging punches and kicks as the boys continued to fight. I heard my savior rushing after me, calling out the name Ken as he did so. It was safe to say that I ignored him, running far, far away from the scrap yard. I will say one thing – my soulmate can run for days.
Apparently, so can his friend because he grabbed my shoulder, forcing me to stop. “Bro, what the hell’s gotten into you?”
“His soulmate,” I scowled, tugging my shoulder free.
“Huh?” his brow furrowed. “What are you talking about?”
“My name is Jae and… I guess I’m this guy’s soulmate.” I motioned toward my body for emphasis. “We switched places. Why did it take so long, though?”
“Wait a minute… Starless switch places with their soulmates?!”
“Judging by your confused look, he either never got the talk or just didn’t tell you.”
“The talk? You mean…?” he made strange motions with his hands.
“Not that talk, idiot,” I sighed deeply, leaning back against a tree and sliding down. “My soulmate is a fucking delinquent. Lovely.”
The friend clicked his tongue, squatting down in front of me with his arms folded over his chest. “How do I know this isn’t some prank?”
“I don’t care if you believe me or not. Where are we?”
“In the forest outside Namaoka Scrap Yard.”
“I meant what city.”
“We’re just outside of Tokyo.”
“That explains the Japanese…”
He tilted his head to the side. “Okay then, soulmate. Where are you from?”
“Florida. It’s in the United States.”
“Hey, that’s where Ken’s father lives!”
I shifted only to wince as pain shot through my gut. “Shit, does he fight like that often?”
The boy nodded. “It’s how we spend most of our time.”
“Great…”
“How long is this switch supposed to last?”
“No clue.”
He hummed as he stood up, holding his hand out to me. “Well, I’ll just have to look after you until you switch back. My name’s Dai, by the way. I’m Ken’s best friend.”
“Nice to meet you,” I mumbled back, sliding my hand into his. He pulled me up effortlessly.
“Come on, I’ll take you back to Ken’s house.”
I started to follow him through the woods, glancing around for any sign of danger. “So, uh… how often do you guys get attacked?”
“A few times a day, usually,” he replied nonchalantly, shrugging a shoulder.
I think I liked it better when I thought I didn’t have a soulmate…
“Oh…” he paused, turning toward me with a frown. “You should probably keep this between us. The switching thing, I mean. We have a lot of enemies and if one of them found out that Ken isn’t here but his soulmate is…”
I swallowed nervously at the implication, nodding quickly. “R-Right…”
“But don’t worry!” he grinned, putting his hand on my shoulder. “As his best friend, it’s my job to keep you safe until you switch back. Now, come on. Pay attention to where we’re going, okay? I can’t be with you constantly so you need to know where his apartment is.”
“Sure…”
Ever since I was a kid, Japan has always been at the top of my list of places I want to visit before I die. I never thought I’d end up here like this, though.
Dai led me to a rundown apartment building and we climbed the stairs to the second floor, stopping at apartment 18. He glanced at me before asking, “Do you have the key?”
I patted the pockets of my jeans, finding a single key on a ring. It felt wrong to insert it into the lock because it felt like I was intruding where I shouldn’t be. As soon as I opened the door, a short woman was in my face, hands on her hips.
“Where have you been? You were supposed to be home three hours ago!”
“Uh…” I sent Dai a silent plea for help and he cleared his throat.
“Sorry, Miss Sakamoto. We were at the arcade and lost track of time.”
She looked between us and I nodded frantically. “What he said.”
The woman sighed, shaking her head. “You’re lucky it’s your birthday or you’d be getting an earful, Ken.”
“It’s his birthday?” I questioned in surprise.
She looked at me funny. “Why are you talking about yourself in the third person?”
“It’s… a new trend?” I offered, making Dai facepalm at the terrible excuse.
“Kids these days are so weird.” She clicked her tongue. “Are you staying for dinner, Dai?”
“Yes, please! I’m starving.”
“Come on, then. I’ll heat up the food.”
I waited for her to disappear into the kitchen before leaning toward Dai. “Oi, how old did Ken turn today?”
“Sixteen. Why?”
Claire’s words echoed in my mind – It begins after both soulmates turn sixteen. I guess that explains why it took so long for the switch to happen…
“How old are you?” Dai wondered.
“Eighteen.”
“Damn. Ken went and got himself an older soulmate. I’m jealous,” he pouted, making me scoff.
Ken’s mom stuck her head around the corner. “Are you two coming or not?”
“Sorry, Miss Sakamoto!” Dai rushed into the kitchen and I followed close behind.
“I made your favorite,” she smiled, setting a plate down in front of me.
It looked like fried rice, but I could smell the spice coming from it. I swallowed nervously, slowly picking up the spoon. Does our taste change when we switch? Because I can’t handle spicy food at all. I feel sick just smelling it normally. I seem to be okay, though.
“Well, go on. Eat up before it gets cold again!”
How can I when you’re sitting there staring at me? Taking a deep breath, I scooped up some of the rice and stuck it in my mouth. It was delicious and rich with flavor, but oh so hot. I winced as the spice invaded my tongue. I forced myself to swallow only to start coughing, quickly grabbing a glass of water and downing half the contents.
She scowled at me, arms folded over her chest. “You’re acting so strange today. Did you start taking drugs or something, huh? Do you want me to kill you? You think I won’t, huh?”
I tried to speak but just ended up coughing more.
Dai bit his lip, looking between us. “I promise he’s not on drugs. He’s just… having a hard time lately… because of his soulmate!”
I quickly pointed at him, nodding in agreement.
Her expression fell as she sat down across from me. “You can’t give up hope, Ken. She’s out there, you just have to find her. I know things haven’t been easy. I know you’ve been struggling with being a Starless and with our divorce, but you can’t give up like we did.”
My eyes widened in surprise, my lips parting to question what she meant but the sadness in her eyes made the words die on my tongue.
“You better wash your plates when you’re done,” she smiled, though it didn’t reach her eyes. “I’ve got to get ready for work.”
I watched her leave the kitchen with a frown before turning to Dai. “I have so many questions…”
“Wait ’til she leaves and I’ll answer them,” he told me before finishing off his food. “Are you gonna eat that?”
I slid the plate over to him, not having much of an appetite.
After his mom left for work, Dai and I headed into Ken’s room. I expected it to be a mess with clothes strewn across the floor and random items lying in random places, but I was surprised by how clean it was. I mean, it wasn’t spotless or sparkling, but it was tidy. There wasn’t much in his room, either. The double bed sat in the corner, the foot of the bed resting just under the window. Across from it was his closet, and a small wooden desk sat at the foot of the bed, a stack of books on the edge.
There was movement from the corner of my eye and I turned, eyes widening. Sitting against the wall near the door was a large glass tank, inside of which was a large snake. How the hell was that the last thing I noticed?
“He can’t get out of the tank on his own, so he can’t hurt you,” commented Dai as he flopped onto the bed. “Please don’t scream.”
“Why would I scream?” I inquired, leaning toward the tank to get a better look at him. I’m no expert on snakes, but he looked like a ball python.
“Girls always scream when they see Kiku.”
“How many girls have seen him?” I straightened my back, eyes snapping to him. I was surprised by how jealous and aggressive I sounded at the thought of other girls being in his bedroom. Dai didn’t seem to notice, though, as he grabbed some manga off the shelf and started to read it.
“Just a couple girls from our class. We had a study project together and they screamed like Sadako was after them when they saw him.”
I leaned toward the glass again. Kiku was peeking his head out from the tree-like structure that sat in the corner of the tank. He flicked his tongue out a few times, lifting his head. “Can I hold him?”
“Seriously?” Dai sat up, looking at me in surprise. “Wow, you’re a weird girl.”
“Gee, thanks,” I rolled my eyes. “So? Can I hold him or not?”
He hummed, setting the book on the bed before approaching me. He carefully lifted the lid before reaching in and gently picking up the reptile. He curled around the boy’s wrist, watching me curiously. “Here.”
When he held the snake out toward me, I slowly reached for him but Kiku backed away, hiding around Dai’s arm.
“That’s weird,” Dai frowned. “He’s never pulled away from Ken like that. He even comes when he calls him!”
“It’s okay, little guy,” I called softly, holding my hand out like I would with a stray cat. “I promise I won’t hurt you.”
“Do you think he knows?”
“Knows what?”
“That you’re not Ken.”
“I dunno. Maybe.”
Kiku slowly lifted his head, tongue flicking out a few times before he started to move toward my hand. As soon as his neck touched my fingers, he backed away, hesitated a moment, and then moved forward. His body felt strange against my skin, but it wasn’t an unpleasant experience. I smiled softly, running the tip of my finger over his head.
“Such a cutie,” I smiled, cradling him to my chest. “I’ve always wanted a pet snake.”
“Why didn’t you get one, then?”
“My parents hate snakes and then Blaise -” I stopped dead, not wanting to divulge too much information. I cleared my throat. “Will you tell me about Ken’s parents? Are they not soulmates?”
Dai rubbed the back of his head, shrugging a shoulder. “They were supposed to be. I’m not really sure what happened, Ken doesn’t like to talk about it. All I know is that they got divorced.”
“I don’t think I’ve ever heard of soulmates getting divorced…”
“It’s pretty rare.”
“There’s a lot we still don’t know about soulmates,” I sighed, settling down on the side of the bed.
“For real,” he muttered, shaking his head as he sat beside me. “My soulmate is terrible, I can’t stand her.”
“Really?” I frowned at him.
“We’re taught that our soulmates are made for us, that they’re half of our soul.” He leaned back, hands folded behind his head and eyes closed. “For most people, that’s true, I guess. Or maybe it just becomes true after they force themselves to believe it for so long. There are a few people who break the norm, though.”
I turned my attention to Kiku as he curled around my wrist. I finally found my soulmate but I never stopped to consider that, even though we’re soulmates, we may not like each other. All my life, I’ve seen the people around me find their soulmates and they always seemed so happy. They talked about how it felt as if they were whole now. I guess it makes sense that people might fall from the norm of soulmates when Starless exists.
I guess even the universe can make mistakes.
“Dai?”
“Hm?”
“Do you… think we’d get along?”
“Me and you? Yeah, you seem cool.”
“No. I meant me and Ken. Do you think we’d be one of those rare cases where we hate each other?”
Dai propped his head up against his hand and hummed thoughtfully. “No idea. Knowing Ken, he’ll act like he doesn’t like you even if he does. He’s a total tsundere.”
As an avid anime watcher, I knew what the term meant; he’ll act rude and cold toward people but, deep down, he’s actually really kind and caring. It’s basically like carrying around a shield to protect yourself from being hurt.
“He pretended to be happy when he didn’t find his soulmate, but I knew it really hurt him. I bet he’s gonna be really happy knowing he finally found you.”
“Eh, I’m not too sure he’s gonna be happy…”
“Why’s that?” he quirked a brow and I smirked.
“I started my period this morning.”
“Oh my god,” he snorted, his face flickering between disgusted and amused. “Rest in peace, brother.”

It’s been three days since I switched with Ken and I was getting tired of it. His mom, bless her, kept feeding me the spiciest food in the world and I felt too bad to tell her I hated it. Worse than that, people were constantly trying to fight me. It didn’t matter where we were or what time it was, and most of them resorted to using weapons.
Even at school, I wasn’t safe. The school was rundown, covered with graffiti, and full of delinquents. The teachers didn’t get paid enough to care about what the students were doing so they didn’t try to stop them when they started fighting.
Dai did his best to look after me, but it was difficult when they usually attacked us in groups. I was getting pretty good at dodging and running away, though!
“Come here, you bastard!”
I cried out, jumping to the side as a fist came down against the locker where my head had been only a few seconds ago. “Seek therapy! Anger management will do wonders for you!”
“Shut up!” he gritted his teeth, eyes flashing with anger as he rushed after me.
I cursed for not being able to keep my mouth shut, turning on my heel and darting down the hallway, dodging students as I went. Damn it, Dai, why did you choose now to go to the bathroom?! A hand grabbed the back of my neck, a gasp of surprise passing my lips.
“Gotcha, asshole!” He grinned, throwing me back against the lockers.
The wind was knocked from my lungs, my head spinning from the contact.
“I don’t know why you’re being so damn passive.” His fist found my gut, making me grunt in pain. I leaned forward, grabbing my stomach. His hand fisted around the collar of my shirt, lifting me up and pinning me to the locker. “But it’s pissing me off! Fight back, Sakamoto!”
“When Ken comes back, I hope he beats the shit out of you,” I spat, trying to push him away.
“What?” he scowled, brow furrowed. “The hell are you talkin’ about?”
“Bobo!” Dai came running down the hall, kicking the guy in the side of the head, sending him flying down the hall.
My feet hit the floor but I didn’t have the strength to stay standing, falling to my knees. How the hell does Ken deal with this kind of pain every feckin’ day? He’s a damn psychopath.
“Oi, are you okay?” Dai sent me a worried look, putting himself between me and Bobo who was slowly pulling himself to his feet.
“Peachy,” I muttered.
“Get to the classroom. I’ll deal with Bobo.”
He didn’t have to tell me twice. I winced as I pulled myself to my feet, clutching my stomach as I started down the hall, my hand on the wall for support. I heard them begin fighting, yelling obscenities at each other, but I ignored it. Honestly, I was tempted to just skip school and –
“Jae!”
I turned, eyes widening as I saw Bobo rushing toward me. He raised his arm above his hand, the lights glinting off of the blade of the switchblade he was holding. My eyes screwed shut as I waited for the knife to pierce my skin.
Several minutes passed by and I felt nothing. I slowly peeled my eyes open but Bobo was gone. I blinked dumbly, glancing around at my surroundings. I wasn’t in the school anymore, I was in the same park I had gone to when I ran away from Blaise. On instinct, my hand flew to my chest to confirm that I was, in fact, back in my own damn body.
“Oh, thank the gods,” I muttered, leaning against the swing. Relief flooded me, but it didn’t last long. I realized that Ken didn’t know what he was being pulled into. He was going to get stabbed! Fear gripped my heart and I started to pace worriedly.
Was I going to lose my soulmate? Would I know if he died?
“Calm down,” I muttered, running a hand through my hair. “He’s a delinquent that’s been in hundreds of fights. He’s probably been stabbed before… right?” I swallowed hard, trying to focus. Maybe I could feel his energy or something. Soulmates are supposed to have a strong connection, so maybe we can communicate even if we’re not near each other.
I sat on the swing, closing my eyes and holding my fingers to my temples. ‘Ken, if you can sense me please give me a sign that you’re okay.’
The night remained silent.
“Damn it,” I muttered, scowling at the ground. “Of course, it wouldn’t work. This isn’t a damn anime.”
Thunder rumbled softly overhead, clouds hiding the stars.
I sighed as I stood up, starting toward Blaise’s apartment. The thought of seeing him again and being able to sleep in my own bed did lift my spirits a bit. I couldn’t stop thinking about Ken, though. I haven’t even officially met him but I already feel so connected to him. I just want to protect him and make him happy…
Is this what it means to be with your soulmate? It was hard enough worrying about myself, now I got a reckless soulmate to worry about.
“I’m home,” I called out when I stepped into the apartment. I was met with silence. “Blaise?” I headed straight to my room, falling onto my bed with a relieved sigh. Oh, how I’ve missed my plush comforter with its cute cat and llama pattern. My relief didn’t last as I thought about Ken again. ‘Please be okay.’
The door opened and closed loudly and heavy footsteps headed down the hall. I lifted my head just as the door slammed open. Blaise stood in the doorway, a scowl on his face and eyes narrowed.
I pushed myself up, smiling at him. “Hey -“
“What did I tell you, huh?” he snapped angrily. “I told you to stop disappearing in Jae’s body! I don’t trust you for a second and I’m tired of you running off every time I turn around! This is my house and you’ll follow my rules!”
My eyes widened in shock. I’ve never heard him sound so angry before and he’s definitely never fallen into his fatherly role quite as hard as he just had. “Jeez, Ken must have been a real pain in the ass for you, huh?”
His brow furrowed, eyes softening. “Jae?”
I nodded, offering a sheepish grin. “I’m home.”
“Oh, thank the gods,” he muttered, throwing his arms around me. “I was beginning to think you were never coming back!”
“Me, too.”
“Your soulmate is insufferable!”
I chuckled, patting him on the back. “I can’t wait to hear all about it.”
“You, first.”
We headed into the kitchen to get some tea and I told him everything that had happened. He was shocked for multiple reasons, but I believe he was most shocked about Ken’s parent’s divorce. Like me, he had never heard of soulmates getting divorced or not liking each other. I think it might have reminded him of his own situation. I still felt guilty about it despite him telling me it wasn’t my fault.
I rubbed my thumb over the condensation of the glass, frowning at the brown liquid within. “Do you think he’s okay?”
Blaise clicked his tongue as he sat back in the chair, folding his arms and crossing his legs. “Considering how he acts, I wouldn’t be surprised if it wasn’t the first time. I can’t believe he put you at risk like that!”
“It’s not like he did it on purpose. There’s no way he could have known we were gonna switch, especially for so long.”
He observed me for a moment. “I’m sure he’s fine, Jae. You should have gotten his number, though.”
“He doesn’t have a phone. Neither does Dai.”
“Well, we need to figure out some way to communicate. I don’t like not knowing that you’re okay…”
I smiled warmly at him. “You’re a good dad, Blaise.”
His eyes widened, cheeks dusting with pink at the comment. He fumbled over his words for a moment before he was able to ask, “You really think so?”
“I know so.”
“Thank you…” he smiled back. Both of us chose to ignore how watery his eyes became.
━━━━━━༻December 5th, 20 years old༺━━━━━━
I stifled a yawn as I entered the back of the store, searching for the box of snowmen lights. It was our most popular seller this year, flying off the shelves. We finally got them back in stock today and there’s a line of people waiting for them. Thankfully, I don’t work the registers so I don’t have to deal with them. All I have to do is put the items back on the shelf.
I grunted as I picked up the large cardboard box, readjusting my grip so I didn’t drop it. I didn’t expect a crowd of people standing outside the swing doors and I certainly didn’t expect them to grab the box from my hand. I blinked dumbly at the crowd as they argued over the lights, snatching them from each other.
My co-worker, a tiny boy named Carl, stepped closer to me with fear in his eyes. “Should we… stop them?”
“I don’t get paid enough for that. Do you?” I quirked a brow at him and he bit his lip, clearly having an internal debate with himself.
Finally, he shook his head. “I don’t.”
I patted him on the back. “Good man. Now, come help me restock the soda aisle.”
“Okay!”
I could see the relief on his face as he turned and headed into the safety of the back. Because of his shy demeanor, he had a hard time dealing with pushy and rude customers so I knew he’s been having a really hard time lately. The holiday season makes everyone nuts.
As I loaded the boxes of soda into the cart, I couldn’t help but think about Ken. We’ve already switched this year so it wouldn’t be happening again anytime soon. I felt overwhelmed by this sense of longing to be with him. I wanted to spend Christmas with him, to get to know him. I want to hear his voice and hear about his day.
More importantly, I wondered if he felt the same. Did he want to meet me? To spend time with me and learn more about me? I was working my ass off to save enough money to go to Japan to visit him, but I was also afraid. What if, when we finally meet, the rose-tinted glasses are shattered? What if we hate each other? I can’t be sure, but I believe he’s probably worried about that, too, because of his parents.
When my work day finally came to an end, I released a relieved sigh. I came way too close to punching a few people today and I didn’t want to lose my job. Unlike most places, the seasonal position at this supermarket actually pays pretty well so I can save money for the trip and help Blaise with the bills. I guess it probably helps that I have another job, too.
Blaise tried to get me to go to college but I refused. I doubt I’d do well there as I was barely an average student in high school, plus college is super expensive. I’d much rather work so I can help repay him for all that he’s done for me. He constantly tells me it’s not needed, and that he was happy to raise me, but I know he feels happy that I’m willing to help. I’m sure it makes him feel like he raised me right.
As I was walking down the street toward our apartment, I paused and lifted my head back. The sky was covered by light gray clouds, the sun nowhere in sight. Our winters here in Florida weren’t very cold at all and we certainly didn’t see snow. I’ve always wanted to see it in real life, though. Maybe the next time we switch, it’ll be snowing in Tokyo and I can experience it for the first time.
Though… I’d prefer it if I was able to experience it for the first time with him rather than as him.
━━━━━━༻December 24th༺━━━━━━
Blaise kept glancing at me as he made breakfast, acting fidgety and often dropping things or knocking them over. He’s been acting weird for several days, steadily getting worse as Christmas approached. I had no idea why, but it was starting to worry me.
He was obviously hiding something, something that he wasn’t sure about if his nervous demeanor was anything to go on. Naturally, I did what any sane, rational human being would – I started imagining the worst possible scenarios.
Did he get fired from his job? Were we being evicted from the apartment? Was he tired of me being in his space and wanted me to move out? Had something happened to my brother? My parents? Was a meteor heading straight for Earth and would wipe out humanity as we know it once it hits, turning everyone into strange animal-like creatures with an endless hunger?
A million thoughts ran through my head that day, none of them positive. And though they were all improbable, they weren’t impossible. Okay, maybe the comet thing wasn’t quite as possible as the others, but it could still happen!
“Blaise,” I scowled as the coffee cup slipped from his hands again, bouncing around the sink as if it were made of rubber rather than ceramic.
He offered me a sheepish smile. “Sorry, the soap is making it really slippery…”
“Bullshit,” I scoffed, folding my arms over my chest. “What’s going on, man? You’ve been acting weird lately.”
He frowned, rinsing the soap off the cup before turning to me. “The truth is… my manager invited us over for dinner and I’m super nervous because what if I mess up or say the wrong thing and he fires me on the spot or what if he realizes I have the table manners of a chimpanzee and he’s disgusted by me or what if -“
“Blaise, breathe!” I took him by the shoulders, forcing him to meet my eyes. “Deep breaths, in and out.”
Closing his eyes, he did as he was told until he started to feel calm. “I’m sorry, I’m just really nervous about it.”
“Just be yourself. He’s gonna love you.”
“I really hope so. This is my chance to get a promotion! We can finally move out of this apartment.”
I hummed, glancing around the kitchen. The wallpaper was faded, peeling in several places. The ceiling had dark spots dotted across it and the floor was uneven, the tile sticking up in several places. The metal covers over the outlets were rusted to hell and sparked every time something was plugged in. It was a cheap, shitty apartment, but… it had been my home for almost nine years now.
How many times had I complained about this place? How many times did I wish we could leave and get a place of our own? Thinking about leaving now, though… it almost felt wrong. If that’s what Blaise wanted, though, I wouldn’t complain. I would help him reach his goal because he deserves to live in a place without all these problems. He deserves to be happy.
I squeezed his shoulders, offering him an encouraging smile. “You’re gonna win him over easily.”
“Thank you.”
“Of course,” I told him before jokingly adding, “Just make sure you don’t get caught sneaking some of that food home. I don’t want ramen for Christmas.”
“You’re coming with me, idiot,” he poked me in the forehead with a snicker. “He told me to bring my family, so you’re coming. Don’t even try and worm your way out of it!”
I scowled, scratching my cheek. “Is it, like… a rich party? Like in the movies where everyone is dressed nicely and everyone acts proper and it’s uncomfortable as hell?”
“I don’t know, honestly. I’m worried about that, too,” he admitted with a frown. “He said it’s just going to be a small gathering for dinner.”
“I am not wearing a dress. I’d rather die.”
Blaise laughed, not the least bit surprised by this. “I would never force you to. I’ll ask him if we should be dressing casually or not.”
“Do you even own a suit?”
“…”
“That’s a no,” I snickered. “I think Kevin has a couple, but I don’t know how well they’d fit us.”
“I am not wearing anything that man has already worn,” scowled Blaise, leaning back against the counter. “That man is messy as hell.”
“Fair point.”
“Besides, I feel like a suit for Christmas dinner would be a bit much, don’t you?”
“Absolutely, but the CEO is rich, right? Rich people are whack.”
“He’s the manager, not the CEO.”
“Same thing.”
“Those are two completely different things, Jae.”
“Eh. Tomato, potato.”
“Those are two completely different things, Jae!”
I snickered at his frustration, grabbing my bag off the counter. “I’m off to work, mom. Don’t drop any more cups!”
“Be safe, brat!”
“Always!”
When I got to the store, I found myself wishing that I had called in sick because it was pure fucking chaos. People were scrambling through the store to get last-minute gifts and ingredients that they had forgotten for dinner. The store was packed. I’m talking like sardines-in-a-can packed.
“Excuse me,” I called out as I tried to squeeze my way through the crowd toward the back of the store. I felt as if I was fighting against ocean waves! As soon as I made any progress, they would move as a group, carrying me back the way I had come.
A fight broke out to my right, two women arguing over the last toaster which led to them exchanging blows. The worst part is that a young child was standing only a few feet away, looking terrified by the insanity happening around her.
I seriously wanted to kill my fucking manager. Why did he think being open on Christmas Eve was a good idea? Probably because we’re the only store that is open in the area, so it’s giving the store quite a bit of extra cash. I think he’s gonna have to use that extra cash to fix the damage, though. They had no qualms about trashing the store or breaking things. I’m not sure what it was, but I could hear glass shattering in the distance followed by angry yelling.
I finally made it to the back, officially five minutes late for my shift. I tried to push the doors open, but they wouldn’t budge. What the hell? These doors don’t have locks on them. Are they stuck? I tried again, pushing my shoulder against them to no avail.
“Oi, is someone in there?” I called out, knocking on the door with my fist. “Only employees are allowed back there. You will be escorted off the property!” I heard the sound of boxes scraping across the floor before the door was cracked open.
A hand grabbed my wrist, tugging me inside before the boxes were moved back into place. Several of the employees were huddled back here, hiding behind boxes or peering through the small crack between the door and the wall.
Carl was the one who grabbed me, eyes shimmering with fear. “A-Are you okay?”
“I’m fine. Are all of you okay?” I inquired, scanning the employees. They reminded me of scared little dear frozen in place. These guys are definitely not equipped to handle this insanity.
“What do we do?” Carl asked, his voice trembling. “T-They’re going crazy!”
As if to prove his point, there was a loud crash on the other side of the doors, making him jump in surprise. I pinched the bridge of my nose. “Where’s Bob?”
“He went home a few hours a-ago…”
Of course, he did. He’s the one that decided this was a good idea but he dipped before shit hit the fan. “Call the cops, tell them what’s happening. Stay in here until they arrive.”
“You can’t go out there!” Carl grabbed my arm to keep me in place, his large eyes widening. “They’ll eat you alive!”
Honestly, I don’t really feel afraid of a bunch of middle-aged women fighting over appliances. After switching with Ken so many times and getting caught up in his fights, these guys are like chihuahuas in comparison.
“Don’t worry, I’ll be fine. Just stay here, okay?” I ruffled his hair, offering him an encouraging smile before turning to leave. The sound I had heard a moment ago was the shelf being pushed over, hundreds of cans falling onto the floor. We’re gonna have to discount them now because the cans are dented.
I pushed my way toward the front of the store, picking the phone up off the wall. The speakers whined with feedback before my voice boomed across the store. “Attention shoppers, the store is now closing. If you’re not already in line, please drop any items you’ve picked up and leave the store in a calm manner.”
The yelling increased, now directed toward me.
I scowled at them, eyes narrowed. “Don’t act surprised, you did this to yourselves. The police will be here soon to escort you out if you don’t leave on your own.” I slammed the phone back down before taking a deep breath and heading into the crowd, directing them toward the front of the store.
Most of the customers just sent me dirty looks before doing as they were told. Others weren’t quite so easy, though.
“The store is closing,” I repeated loudly, having to raise my voice to be heard over the chaos. “Please drop your items and exit the store immediately!”
A chubby woman scoffed at me, carrying a hot plate box under her arm. “Who do you think you are, huh? You’re supposed to be open until midnight! This is a joke.”
“The only joke here is that grown-ass adults are fighting over damn toasters like five-year-olds who haven’t seen a toy in their entire life.”
Anger flashed through her eyes. “You disrespectful brat! I am the customer and I am always right, don’t you know that? Did they teach you nothing about respecting your elders, huh?”
I scowled at her, arms folded over my chest. “I’m a firm believer that respect is earned, not freely given. You don’t get my respect simply because you were born first and I certainly don’t respect people who act like you are. Now, please put the hot plate down and exit the store.”
The woman moved closer, getting in my face. “If you want it, take it, brat.”
I exhaled sharply through my nose. “Sorry to disappoint you, but I won’t be the one taking it from you, the cops will be. Now get out of my face.”
“Make me.”
I scoffed, looking at her in disbelief. “You’re an actual child, oh my god.” Shaking my head, I turned and started to walk away but she grabbed my shoulder, fingers digging into my skin.
“Don’t you walk away from me!”
“Let go!” I snapped, reaching the end of my rope quickly. I slapped her hand away and she dropped the hot plate on the floor, lunging at me. I jumped to the side, watching as she dove head-first into a display of candy.
If things were in chaos before, it was absolute pandemonium after that. Everyone started to fight each other, stealing items from them before darting from the store despite the security guard trying to stop them. Objects were being thrown across the store or used as weapons. Damn it, where the hell are the cops?
I knew trying to stop this wasn’t worth the time, the effort, or the danger, but when I saw someone stuffing a bunch of video games into their bag, I acted on instinct. I rushed toward them, grabbing the strap of his bag.
“Put those games back,” I growled. “What the hell is wrong with -“
There was a sharp pain across the back of my skull. The sounds around me became muffled and my vision blurred, my grip loosening on the bag. He ripped it from me before darting out the doors. I felt someone shove me from behind and, already feeling lightheaded, I couldn’t catch my footing. I threw my hands out to brace my fall, my cheek hitting the corner of the shelf before I hit the floor. I could feel a sharp sting on my cheek, blood trickling down my skin. My hands had landed on shattered glass, the pieces piercing my skin.
“Shit,” I muttered, closing my eyes as I tried to gather myself.
“Everyone get on the ground! Now!”
Relief flooded me when the cops entered the store, their weapons drawn as they got a hold of the situation. I turned over, leaning my back against the shelf and looking at my hands. The cuts were small, tiny pieces of glass sticking out from them. The back of my skull was throbbing but there was no blood when I reached my hand back to check.
“Jae!” Carl rushed over to me, kneeling down beside me. “Are you okay? O-Oh my god, your cheek is bleeding!”
“It’s just a scratch,” I told him, wiping my cheek with the back of my hand. It was covered in blood when I pulled it back.
“It looks deep…”
“I’ll be fine, don’t worry,” I forced a smile, ruffling his hair. The truth was that my head was killing me and my vision was still a bit blurry. All I wanted to do was sleep. I might have a concussion, shit.
Carl bit his lip, eyes flickering to the cops as they rounded up the crowd, ushering them out of the store. I knew what he was thinking so I grabbed his arm to stop him.
“I don’t need an ambulance,” I muttered, tugging my phone from my pocket. “Call Blaise. He’ll take me to the hospital to get checked out.”
“O-Okay!” he fumbled with my phone because his hands were trembling.
While he explained the situation, I leaned my head back against the shelf. The bread was soft against my head, acting like a pillow. I knew I needed to keep my eyes open but they were so heavy and I was so tired. A few seconds won’t hurt…
Slap.
My eyes widened as pain exploded across my other cheek, both of them now stinging for different reasons. I blinked a few times, my brain slowly processing what had happened.
“O-Oh my god, I’m so-so sorry!” cried Carl, tears gathering in his eyes. “It’s just, i-if you have a concussion, you need to-to stay awake!”
I brought my hand up to my cheek, feeling the warm skin beneath my hand. I still felt tired but I was much more awake now. “You have one hell of a backhand, Carl.”
“I’m sorry!”
━━━━━━༻December 25th༺━━━━━━
“Are you ready to go?”
I glanced over at Blaise with a frown, stuffing my hands into the pocket of my hoodie. I wasn’t ready at all. “Sure.”
I was still sore from the incident at the store, my cheek and hands bandaged up tight. I wasn’t sure why, but I just felt super moody today, despite the fact that it was Christmas night. I just felt so tired, like my energy had been drained from me. Despite the cheer that surrounded me, I couldn’t stop thinking about Ken. My heart yearned for him and it was beginning to hurt deeply being away from him. No matter what I did to distract myself, my mind kept returning to him.
I slid into the passenger seat of Blaise’s car, running a hand through my short hair only to wince when my fingers grazed the back of my skull. It was still tender from where I had been hit.
Blaise frowned at me as he slid into the driver’s seat. “Are you sure you’re feeling up for this? You don’t have to go.”
My lips parted to tell him that I was fine, but I couldn’t get them to come. “Actually… can I stay home? I’m really not feeling well and I don’t want to cause a scene.”
“Of course! I’ll call him and let him know we’re not coming.”
“Wait, no,” I put my hand on his arm before he could dial the number. “You should go.”
“You want me to leave you here alone?” his brow furrowed, a frown tugging at his lips. “Rae -“
“I promise, I’ll be fine. I’m just gonna lay down and watch a movie.”
For a moment, Blaise just watched me, clearly having an internal debate with himself. “Promise me you’ll call if anything happens?”
“I promise.”
“Alright…”
I offered him a tired smile, pecking his cheek before sliding out of the car and heading back inside the apartment. It was true that I wasn’t feeling good, my injuries still fresh, but more than anything, I just felt sad. I had no reason to feel this way. Sure, things in my life weren’t perfect, but I had Blaise and my brother at my side. I also had Haru and Dylan. I was surrounded by people who love me, yet I had never felt quite so alone before.
I fell onto the couch, fighting back tears as I stared at the black screen of the TV. My heart was aching something fierce inside my chest and I had no idea how to stop it.
“Damn it,” I cursed, rubbing at my eyes as the tears slid down my cheeks. “Get it together, Jae!”
I flicked on the TV, finding a Pirates of the Caribbean marathon playing. It was one of my favorite movies and I felt confident that it would help cheer me up so I curled up on the couch with a blanket and turned up the volume. Unsurprisingly, I got lost in the film, despite having seen it many times before. I forgot all about Christmas, my injuries, and the aching of my heart.
As I started on the second movie, I found my eyes growing heavy and it wasn’t long before I was out cold.

Fingers danced gently across my face, stirring me from sleep. I could sense someone sitting on the couch beside me and I assumed it was Blaise. I didn’t open my eyes as I shifted, stifling a yawn.
“How was dinner?” I mumbled, readjusting my arm so I could use it as a pillow.
“It was terrible because you weren’t there.” The voice didn’t belong to Blaise and it was heavily accented as if English wasn’t his first language.
My body tensed up realizing that a stranger was in the apartment, my eyes snapping open. As soon as our gazes met, all panic left my body, a sense of calm washing over me. It was the same face I had seen staring back at me in the mirror during our switches.
“Ken?” I whispered, my heart skipping a beat when I spoke his name. Was I dreaming?
Ken nodded, looking a bit awkward and shy. “We finally get to meet, huh?”
I hesitantly reached forward, resting my hand on his cheek. His skin warmed up beneath my palm, his gaze dropping to the floor. Without a second of hesitation, I threw my arms around his neck, hugging him as tightly as I could. He didn’t hesitate to wrap his arms around my waist, exhaling against my neck.
“How…?” I breathed out. “How are you here?”
“My old man is your brother’s boss,” he replied, gently pushing me back so he could see my face. A frown tugged at his lips as he gazed at the bandage on my cheek. “He told me what happened.”
“Ah, yeah… it was a mess,” I chuckled, rubbing the back of my neck.
“I would have killed them all,” he muttered, resting his hand over the bandage, his eyes darkening. “No one is allowed to touch you.”
I couldn’t fight the smile that overtook my face, my hand resting over his own. “I’m so glad you’re here.”
“Sorry it took me so long.”
“Me too. I was saving up to come see you, but… tickets are kind of expensive.”
Ken chuckled. “You don’t have to worry about that now. I’m here.”
“Are you staying?”
“Yeah. I moved in with my old man.”
My eyes widened at the information, tears prickling at my eyes. I felt overwhelmed with emotion.
“Hey, don’t cry!”
“I’m sorry, I just…” I wiped at my eyes but the tears wouldn’t stop.
Ken leaned closer, moving my hands out of the way. We stared at each other for a few seconds before he leaned closer, his lips pressing against my own. Every nerve in my body came alive as I kissed him back, fingers curling around his t-shirt. For the first time in my life, I felt complete. I felt whole.
I refused to pull away until my lungs were burning, screaming for air. Even then, we stayed close, our foreheads pressed together as we caught our breath. “Ken, I… I love you.”
His lips brushed mine again, his hands resting on either side of my neck. “I love you, too. I won’t ever leave you, Jae.”
“As if I’d let you,” I joked, earning a chuckle from him before our lips met again. I threw my arms around his neck, leaning back until I was lying on the couch again, him hovering over me. I felt so happy that it felt as if my heart was going to explode and I was more than happy to allow it.
“Hey, did she wake up yet – holy shit!”
We broke apart, lifting up to peer over the back of the couch. Dai was standing in the hallway, his eyes wide and face tinted pink.
“Dai?” I called out in surprise. “You’re here, too?”
He nodded, looking away as he scratched his cheek. “Of course! Ken would be lost without me.”
Ken scoffed, muttering under his breath, “As if. He’d be lost without me.”
He cleared his throat. “Sorry to interrupt. I’ll just go back to the kitchen now.”
I chuckled as he turned on his heel and darted back down the hall. “A double Christmas gift, hm?”
He pouted at me. “You better be happier about me being here than him.”
“Of course I am. You’re my beautiful soulmate, after all~”
“I’m not beautiful, baka,” he muttered, his cheeks darkening.
My hand found his cheek, thumb rubbing gently across his skin. “You’re beautiful to me.”
“I’ll give you a pass because it’s Christmas.”
“Sure, sure.” My lips twitched upward as I shifted on the couch, making room for him to slide in beside me. “Cuddle with me?”
Ken hummed as he slipped in beside me, his arms wrapping around me and pulling me closer. His lips pressed against my forehead. “You’re my world, baby.”
“And you’re mine.”

In Through The Out Door | Art Master Post
Castiel was dead. Again. And it was all Dean's fault.
After failing to drink himself into an early grave, Dean finds a little resolve to pick himself back up and do the right thing: save people. With Sam and Jack by his side, and a little help from a few other survivors, they take on Chuck, restore the world, the multiverse, and everything's back to the way it oughta be.
Everything but Castiel, that is.
Dean clings to a death wish five miles wide after that. And he gets that wish, dying on a hunt. But the worst is yet to come when he wakes up and finds himself in the Empty. And he's not alone.
Chapter 8
Summary: With new knowledge, Sam, Dean, Rowena, and Jack put together a plan to take out Chuck once and for all... Warnings/Tags: More Samwena flirting, Dean's depression getting worse Characters/Pairings: Dean Winchester, Michael (Adam vessel), Sam Winchester, Rowena, developing Sam/Rowena, Jack Word Count: 1971
“Find anything?”
Dean tossed the current book he had been staring at for the better part of an hour onto the table. It snapped closed upon impact.
“No,” he growled, then softened when he saw Jack’s crestfallen face. “Sorry, buddy. I can’t… I’m struggling for motivation.”
Jack closed the book he held and returned it to the nearest shelf. “My friends would sympathize here with ‘valid’.”
A hint of a smile tugged at the corner of his lips, and Dean almost let it take hold. But before he could, Sam burst through the northern library door, two books in hand: Death’s book on God and a small leather-bound notebook. He was about to ask what the hell had taken him so long, but then he caught movement behind Sam.
The tiny redhead skipped ahead, trying to keep up with Sam’s too-long strides, and Dean nearly leaped out of his chair. He rounded the end of the table, heading straight for Rowena, and wrapped his arms around her. Despite their past, Dean thanked… not God. Obviously. Free will? Yeah. He thanked whatever free will was left to them that someone else had survived Chuck’s assholery.
“Christ, Rowena, it’s good to see you—as much as I hate to admit it.”
She returned the hug, then leaned back. “I’m so sorry, Dean. About…”
Son of a bitch. Did everyone know? A rueful scowl raised his hackles. Everyone consisted of five people now, himself included. So yeah. Everyone did fucking know.
Rowena’s concerned frown returned him to the present. “It’s fine. I’m… managing.” He brushed it off—you know, like he always did—and pressed on. “What did you find?”
Sam scanned the room, brow furrowed. “Where’s Michael?”
“Michael?!” Rowena shouted a little louder than Dean thought necessary. “As in this universe’s Michael?”
“Yeah, didn’t you notice the Cage was a little empty?” Dean snapped.
“I did but that doesn’t mean I have any clue as to his whereabouts,” she retorted. “I thought he got raptured like the rest of the planet. I only realized Sam was alive when he said my name—”
“You Beetlejuiced her here?!” Dean shouted.
“No!” Sam insisted, but Dean continued to glare. “Okay, fine, I did, but it wasn’t on purpose. I was just thinking out loud and… poof. There she was.”
“Alright, forget it, Michael’s in the kitchen.” Both Sam and Rowena glared at him as though he’d sprouted a second head. “Apparently, he gained an appetite for cheeseburgers while he was in the Cage. I’m not gonna explain it. What did you two figure out?”
Rowena gestured at Sam. “Your brother seems to think we can reap Charles.”
Dean glanced towards Billie’s scythe, leaning in the corner near the liquor cabinet, then he shifted to Sam. “How?”
“The scythe works no matter who swings it, we know that from… experience,” Sam began. “Billie always said she would do it, too. Maybe that’s what the end of the book says.”
Dean gestured to Billie’s book and said, “What about that word, ‘artifice’?”
Sam breathed in to speak just as Michael entered the war room. Dean gave him a passing look, but when he turned back to Sam, he froze. Sam’s wide-eyed stare and working jaw said plenty even though all he managed was a poor imitation of a fish out of water. By the time Michael topped the library stairs, Sam had recovered, and Michael appeared not to have noticed the momentary blue screen.
“Artifice. Yeah… ”
Stalling. But for what?
“I followed a trail of leads. It took a while to get on it, but once I did, it leaped across the country from city to city.” He paused, swallowing hard. To Dean, it looked like he was still struggling to find the right words.
The right lie.
“As far as I can tell, it’s some weird primordial artifact, but I couldn’t make heads or tails of it. To be honest, I think it’s a diversion.” With another pause, Sam tore his stare from Dean and looked directly at Jack. “Every trail I found led me back to a location just outside of Poughkeepsie…” He sucked in a breath as if to brace himself, then continued. “But that was it. A dead end every time.”
Poughkeepsie.
Dean’s blood ran cold as ice, like he’d cannonballed into an open lake in the dead of winter. When Sam’s stare snapped back to him, Dean saw it, plain as day. Then he shot a glare at Michael. He hoped to—son of a bitch, not God, clearly not God, but someone. Castiel, then. He hoped to Castiel that Michael had missed that trade, too.
Jack, however, had definitely not missed it. Confusion knotted his brow and he tilted his head, looking every bit the son of Castiel. That awful ache shot through Dean’s chest at the thought. Other memories, painful ones, assaulted him. The night Jack was born. Lucifer. Mary. Everything since. Then the most recent: nearly collapsing in the wake of Michael pouring his power into Chuck’s death book.
Poughkeepsie.
Beating wings buffeted him with a rush of air. Sam had his Taurus in hand before Dean had even reacted, but even he was too late. Michael was gone.
“That can’t be good,” Rowena stated. “Since when can they fly off again like that?”
“I’ll bet you a million dollars,” Sam started, “that Chuck allowed it. And Michael is doing exactly as ordered.”
“As ordered?” Rowena repeated. “Like a—”
“Yes,” Sam interjected. He couldn’t be completely sure about the Bunker’s wards. A little caution never hurt. “So we don’t have a ton of time to come up with this plan.”
Dean pointed at the scythe and nearly shouted. “You can’t be serious, Sam. I wanna kill the bastard too, but this is a suicide mission.”
“Normally, I’d agree with you. And I’d also tell you that it was worth the risk but… ” He gestured vaguely around himself at nothing in particular, and Dean understood. No one left to stick their necks out for. So that meant…
“Reaping God isn’t the real plan.”
Dean glanced at Jack again. “What do you mean?”
“Rowena, can you… cast something? Just use some of your power?”
“Won’t Charles detect it?” Rowena asked.
“I have a working theory that he will not. Please?”
Rowena’s lips narrowed to a thin line, but she raised her hands anyway. “I’m trusting you, Samuel.”
A crimson glow brightened her eyes, and Dean slowly reached for his Colt at the small of his back. Brighter and brighter, Rowena’s advanced magic surged, bright red weaves coiling from her fingers. Sam might trust her, and while Dean had forgiven her, he would never forget the pain she had put them through in the past. He trusted her about as far as he could throw her. Which, he admitted to himself, had to be at least a few feet. She was pretty damn tiny after all.
Just as his fingers reached the mother-of-pearl grip, Rowena’s magic flickered, and Jack’s surged from zero to a hundred in a single blink, eyes glowing molten gold. Then the Queen of Hell’s magic snapped, fizzling apart with a whip-crack. Jack gasped as he doubled over, gripping the table and shoulders heaving.
Sam reacted quick as lightning, catching Jack as his knees buckled. Once steadied, Jack waved off his concerned questions and straightened, spine stiff as steel. “I’m fine, I swear. It’s a lot to take in all at once, but I’m starting to get the hang of it. I felt like I had more control that time.”
Dean thought he understood. Maybe. Probably. Enough to get Sam’s angle. It was risky. Sort of. But if it worked? Even if he and Sam died but it put an end to Chuck’s bullshit and brought everyone back?
Worth it.
“What in the bloody blue blazes was that?!” Rowena bellowed. “What have you done to the poor boy this time?!”
“We didn’t do shit, and we don’t have time to get into it,” Dean lied, speaking over Sam. If he had to explain how they had ended up in this situation—son of a bitch, Cas, why did you have to go and be a big damn hero again? If he had to tell it a second time, he might lose his fucking mind. “Do you think you can do it, kid?”
“If I understand the plan… I think so. But I need more,” Jack said. “I… don’t think I could even get near him yet.”
“We’ll figure out the approach. And you’ve already done it to an archangel once before,” Sam said as he glanced at Rowena. “Chuck’s terrified of you. You’re the artifice. His contrived plot device that he couldn’t control. It’ll be both a literal and figurative ‘Death of the Author’.”
Death of the Author, Dean thought. “What, like American Psycho?”
Sam blinked several times as he appeared to struggle with the analogy. “Actually… yeah, sort of. In a backwards way. Chuck had his own intentions while writing our lives. But then he introduced Jack. Hell, I’d argue that it started with Cas. He was the first character that escaped. And he helped us get out, too. All of us.”
Dammit, Cas. Dean snapped his glare down to his boots when the sting hit his eyes again.
“But what are we going to do about Michael?” Rowena asked.
“He ran home to Daddy,” Dean grumbled. He breathed in deep, shoving the fresh ache in his chest back down. Then he picked his head up, looking Rowena in the eye. “To tattle on the humans. Again.”
“Which makes this entire plan that much easier,” Sam said. “But we gotta lean into the trap hard or it won’t work. Chuck will sniff it out so fast…” He searched the library until he settled on Rowena. He considered her a moment, his eyes narrowed, his smile crooked. Then, just as he opened his mouth to speak, Rowena bowled him over.
“Oh no,” she declared, hands raised defensively. “No. I am not bait. I won’t do it.”
“Please,” Sam begged. He set the books on the table, then held out his hands. “We need your help. And I think you need ours. I can’t imagine Hell is all that entertaining without anyone in it.”
She rolled her eyes at him, and Dean wished they’d just get a room already. Then she sighed and dropped her hands in Sam’s. “Fine. But I get the scythe. And whatever magic I want to use. This part of the plan is mine to orchestrate.”
“Deal.”
That was way too damn fast. “Did you just make a deal with the Queen of Hell?” Dean demanded. “Really, dude?”
Sam regarded Dean a beat, then returned to Rowena, one brow raised. “Do we need to… make it official?”
Rowena sized him up, looking him over from head to toe and back again. “Only if you’ll enjoy it.”
When Sam hesitated, Dean knew he had to do something. “I swear if you two do this in front of me, I will—”
“Alright, alright, honor system then,” Sam said as he set her hands at her sides, and Rowena had the absolute audacity to appear disappointed. If he’d eaten anything recently, Dean might have puked right then and there.
Sam stepped back then, propping himself up to half-sit on the end of the library table. Rowena’s sardonic frown hardly managed to hide her smirk, and that wicked glimmer in her eye told Dean everything he needed to know. He could chew through iron if he had to keep watching them flirt.
“The floor is yours,” Sam said to her. “How are we gonna pull this off?”
Rowena pulled out the chair beside him and seated herself, reclining regally as though it were her throne.
“I think a lakefront beach would be fitting. He hates sand…”

the barkeep answers: ”It’s always more complicated than that. They haven’t turned on their morals, at least not to those who they think it matters to. They’re scarred after the events of the past. Think demons will take the slightest leniency to start a fight. But me? I think with all this technology that’s sproutin’ up, those days of magic and divine powers, they’re best left in the past.”
kiana's halfway to soldiering through another sip when she pauses. “wait, sabotaging the train? the demons are doing that?” her brows furrow. “but that train was full of just… normal stuff. things people need to live. if they’re so mad at the angels, why take it out on the people?”
”Now, I don’t know if it’s them, but the way I see it, can’t be no one else. They’re just tryin’ ta regain whatever control they can of themselves. Thats the most carnal form of resistance, if ya ask me. Won’t do ‘em good, but I’m not on that quarry. I don’t know the log-is-ti-cal matters of things.”
she opens her mouth like she might say something, then shuts it in favor of a contemplative hmm. by the sounds of it, they're playing right into the angels' hands, but that's an observation perhaps better saved for when they're alone.
Through the conversation so far, Gallagher has been quietly sipping his drink, contemplating its flavor, the quality, its age, and what it says of this town and this bartender. As the conversation lulls, however, he speaks up again: ”This war you mentioned, what was it for?” ”’Fraid I can’t really answer that question neither. ‘Gain, I don’t know the log-is-ti-cal matters of it, but from what I gathered, there’s always been beef in the stew. Righteousness is what motivates the angels, and old school demons just like the power. Prideful sum’ bitches.” Gallagher hums as an easy smile crawls across his face. "And bystanders like you just want to dust their hands of it all and let the past rest, eh? Sounds like everyone could use a few good drinks to mellow out." He's joking, of course. "Law enforcement's gotta have their hands full with all that tension. What's your take on the town's sheriff?" The man laughs. "Couldn't've said it better myself. I don't know. I wasn't alive back then. Demons were apparently horrible but the ones I've met? They just tryin' to get by." A shrug. "Ah, Sheriff Helios. A traitor who can't seem to catch a break, if you ask me. Don't know who his soul belongs to at this point, but he certainly ain't happy," a hearty laugh.
"...traitor?" kiana's head perks up. that's a new one. "geez, what'd he do?"
"Why, he made a deal with a demon, or so it goes. Sold his soul over to one of 'em to help his wife. Well, ex-wife now. Ended up turnin' tail on the demons when they were gonna lose to save his and her skins. Blood was thicker than water though. She exiled herself to Ember Echoes along with a lotta others and left 'im. Now, he's in tight with the angels. Only arms length though, they'd sack him if they saw fit." Ratio chimes in, then. With how Gallagher had explained how they talked, he could see the dots connecting. So they aren't close with Viper bringing up his wife, it was a jab and it was meant to hurt. If the sheriff was on someone else's docket... "I will not ask if you know why she left him after all they've been through, but why do you suppose she chose this Ember Echoes of all places? If the name suggests affiliation, would Ember Echoes not be a part of the angels domain. Even at arms length, why is he back here instead of somewhere else, like she?" "Ember Echoes is where all the demons and a few human sympathizers got sent. It's a quarry, but it's probably a worse prison than the townhouse cells by a mile, if what I've heard is true." A wave of his hand. "I can't tell ya why lovers split. Not my job. I do drinks, not therapy." "So someplace around the demons and humans they turned on. Did they not gain anything from this betrayal they staged?" Ratio inquires with a head tilt. "What would Sheriff Helios gain from all that?" "Think you're misunderstandin' me, boy. Helios was helpin' the demons at first. Then when the demons we're sure to lose, he betrayed them and helped the angels to save his wife and his skins. He stayed with the angels. His wife went with the demons... At least, that's what they say."
she whistles into her glass before setting it down. opens her mouth once, like she thinks to say something, then catches the doctor's eye and clears her throat instead. "...he seemed kind of like a pushover when we ran into him," she says it like she's just thinking aloud, but the hard side eye she throws their bartender would suggest otherwise, "hard to believe he would do something like that. guess you don't ever really know a guy, huh?"
"Misery is a cruel sumbitch. Way I see it, I'd be a miserable piece of somethin' if I lost my bar." The barkeep shrugs, indifferent
“oh, yeah. guess that would do it, huh.” no wife, terrible life, she gets it.
After a sympathetic word, Gallagher nurses the rest of his drink in contemplative silence. The barkeep has been more than a little helpful to them so far. ”We should probably see to accommodations before nightfall,” he says after a while, hand cupped over his nearly-empty glass, turning his head to address his two companions. ”If we’ve got bunks waiting for us, might as well check ‘em out.” Then to their generous bartender with laugh: ”Although you might just see us back here before long. Any last word of advice for those of us just getting started in this town?” The man hums. "Yerp. And... I suppose you can have those on the house. Don't get used to it though. I'll be chargin' next time yer around. As fer advice? Good luck out there. Keep yer cards close to yer chest. Words spreads quick, and you never know who's watching."
she fishes out a coin or two from her pocket anyway, tossing them on the counter as she knocks back the rest of her glass. better to tip than not, in any case. "thanks a lot, mr. mercy. we'll see you around."
hopping up from her stool and pushing it into its place, kiana leads their charge out of the bar and onto the street once more. her hands have settled comfortably in her pockets once more, expression contemplative. she waits until the door and a good few strides are between them and the bar before she speaks again.
"maybe i just don't get it, but what he was saying didn't make sense... if the demons are trying to get control back in this town, wouldn't it be stupid to trash good supplies? all that'll do is make people afraid, and give the angels something to save for better favor. it just doesn't seem smart, i guess."

“I don't… I don't understand where all of this is coming from!” He exclaims, throwing a hand up in the air for emphasis. He had been excited to come home after a long day and just cuddle with you on the couch but apparently you had other plans. And those plans included fighting with him.
He still didn't know what he did wrong or what happened to make you so upset when you seemed fine just that morning. The only thing he knew was that he didn't like where this conversation was heading. It was heading down a path that he went down with Nancy and it was scaring him because he didn't want to lose you. He couldn't lose you because that would break him.
You were his best friend, the love of his life, and if you left him then he had nothing left. He needed you more than anything. “Talk to me, please.” He begged, taking a step closer to you.
He didn't understand why you weren't talking to him like you used to. “Why would I, Steve? It's not like you're gonna listen.”
Steve took a step back, furrowing his brows. “What do you mean? I listen to you.”
“You don't! You just don't.” He rounded the counter so he was standing in front of you. You could see the confusion and hurt in his eyes but you didn't care at that moment. “You never fucking listen, Steve! You act like you do, and I hate you for it. I hate you because you sit there with me and act like you care about what I have to say! I hate you because you act like you love me but it's all bullshit!”
You watch as his face crumbles under the weight of your words and your heart sank in regret. You were having an off day and taking it out on him saying things that weren't true. You wanted to hurt him the way you were hurting today but you could see that you crossed a line. And you wanted to take everything back.
“Wait… y-you hate me?” He whispered, his eyes lining with tears. “And you think I don't love you? Wh-what did I do to give you that… that impression?” He asks and you feel your heart stop beating.
“I'm sorry, I didn't mean it–”
He cuts you off. “You can't say things like that and not mean it. Do you really think I don't love you or that- that I don't listen to you?”
You shake your head rapidly, eyes wide. “No, I know you do. You're amazing and I'm just… I was having a bad day and I guess I finally snapped when you came home wearing that beautiful yet stupid smile on your face.” You explain, your own eyes lining with tears. “I wanted to make you feel the way I have all day and I'm sorry. I'm so sorry.”
Steve cups your jaw and rests his forehead against yours. “Hey, hey… it's okay, don't cry, please. Listen, the only reason I came in with a smile today was because I knew you were here. I knew that you were just what I needed after today.”
Sniffling, you feel your heart sink once again. Now you felt like a bitch. He was having a bad day like you and you made it worse by telling him that you hated him and didn't think he cared about you, which was far from the truth.
You loved him with every bone in your body and you couldn't believe you had hurt him just because you had a bad day. “I'm sorry, Stevie. I love you so much.”
He moves his hand from under your jaw to brush your tears away and smiles softly. “I love you too, baby.”

daisies | kim sunwoo
ミ★ synopsis: the best type of revenge is to hurt the person that means the most to them. aka, in which sunwoo is in charge of making you fall in love with him, just to break your heart.
ミ★ genre: angst, some fluff
ミ★ warnings: mentions of vomit, slightly suggestive
ミ★ word count: 10,155
ミ★ pairings: sunwoo x female reader
ミ★ notes: this is dedicated to my other half, @sunlightwoo happy birthday gina, i’m so grateful god decided that i shouldn’t be lonely and have you be born three days after me. i know you’ll probably hate me for this oneshot, but i know daises was one of your favorites from me. i love you, my sunshine. no amount of words will ever express just how much you mean to me.
The music is loud against Sunwoo’s ears as he dances with a girl he doesn’t even know the name of, not that he wants to know her name. She turns around and wraps her arms around the back of his neck, giving him a smirk. “Enjoying the view?”
Sunwoo grins, leaning in towards her ear to whisper, “Maybe.”
The unknown girl giggles at the ticklish feeling from Sunwoo’s lips, only making his smile wider as he moves closer to ask,
“Wanna get out of here?”
“Sunu! Sunu, we have to go.” Sunwoo curses at the familiar voice, turning around to see Chanhee with a frantic expression on his face, and that’s when he knows it’s serious. “Is it Minji?”
“It’s Minji.” Sunwoo removes himself from the stranger’s arms without another word and follows after Chanhee. They hurry out of the club, the cold spring night air hitting them as they walk. Sunwoo stops for a moment, looking up at the stars as he wonders what could’ve happened.
“Sunwoo! Come on!” The black haired beauty takes one last breath of the night air, before rushing over to Chanhee’s car.
“Minji, please calm down!” Sunwoo hears as soon as he and Chanhee enter Minji’s house. His eyes widen when he hears a loud crash from upstairs, and he sprints up the stairs fast as he can, bursting in through her bedroom door to see Minji crying while holding a flower vase in hand. Her mom turns to look at Sunwoo helplessly, and he nods his head at her.
“Minji, look at me.” Sunwoo says softly, and she keeps her eyes trained to the floor as she clutches the vase tightly. He takes a few steps closer as Chanhee walks in quietly behind him, choosing to stay back since he knows Sunwoo handles these situations better. “Minji.”
It’s when she’s about to throw the vase that Sunwoo grabs her wrist to stop her, pulling her into a hug with his other arm. She freezes for a moment, before letting out a small sob into Sunwoo’s shoulder, closing her eyes as she takes in her best friend’s comforting scent. “It’s okay Minji, we’re here. Chanhee and I are here.”
Chanhee finally walks over, resting his hand on Minji’s back as she cries. He takes a glance at Sunwoo to see him with a stoic expression on his face, eyebrows slightly furrowed as the sounds of Minji’s sobs get louder.
who the fuck did this to her?
“I always knew Mark was a piece of shit. Can’t believe he’s already showing interest in another girl when you guys just broke up.” Sunwoo grumbles to himself as he places his water back down. The three of them are sitting on Minji’s floor, talking about what caused her breakdown. She lets out a small sigh, running a hand through her hair, “I should’ve listened to your protests from the start. He was too charming though.”
“That’s how they get you. I mean, look at Sunwoo.” The person in question chokes on his drink, turning to look at his lavender haired best friend with a furrow to his brow.
“Why the fuck am I being brought into this?”
“He’s a charming ass guy,” Chanhee continues, choosing to ignore Sunwoo. “That’s how he’s able to pull in any person he shows the slightest bit of interest in. Then when he gets what he wants, poof. He’s gone.” Sunwoo chuckles, not finding it in himself to deny Chanhee’s explanation.
Cause he’s right.
Minji’s eyebrows furrow once an idea comes to mind, and she stands up along with the plan forming in her head. Sunwoo and Chanhee look at her with confused expressions on their faces, and she flashes them a small smile.
“The best type of revenge is to hurt the person that means the most to them. Correct?” The two guys nod at her, not sure where she’s going with this.
“And Chanhee says that Sunu is a bit of a fuckboy, right?” Sunwoo rolls his eyes at the term, opening his mouth to argue and Minji flashes him a look. He sighs, nodding his head and leaning back onto the bed frame.
“What if we have Sunwoo swoop in and take the girl Mark’s interested in, have her fall completely in love with our sweet, sweet Sunu. Then he breaks her heart when the task is completed, so not only will Mark feel sad for her, but he’ll feel guilty knowing this wouldn’t have happened if he didn’t move on so fast.” Minji says with a grin, looking at her two friends to see their reactions. Chanhee frowns immediately at the idea, while Sunwoo stares back at Minji with an open-mouthed smirk.
“We haven’t done anything fun like this in a while, I think it’d be cool.” Minji claps her hands in glee at his response, about to start planning the whole thing when Chanhee intervenes. “I don’t think this is a good idea. I understand revenge on Mark, but why do we have to bring the girl into it? She didn’t do anything wrong to Minji.”
“I don’t see why not. Don’t be a party pooper Chanhee, just help us plan it out mm?” Chanhee stares at his two best friends, obviously seeing that he won’t be able to get through to them. He lets out a sigh, raising up his hand as a way of saying well, get along with it.
“Well what I know about this girl is that her name is yln yn. She’s a year younger than us and goes to the same uni. Apparently her and Mark were close when they were in high school, but lost contact when he moved.”
“So his first love basically.” Sunwoo states, and Minji nods at him. “Ding, ding, ding! You’re correct. She works at the flower shop down by that cat café near your guys’ apartment complex.”
“Sounds like you know a lot about her for someone who just got their heartbroken.” Minji slaps the back of Chanhee’s head and he lets out a small whine. Sunwoo chuckles as he watches Chanhee rub the back of his neck, glaring up at Minji.
“Have to know the enemy, don’t I?” She asks with a smirk. Sunwoo takes a sip of his water before turning towards Minji and asking, “So what’s the plan?”
She bites her lip excitedly, walking over to grab her corkboard and sticky notes. Minji turns back around with a big smile.
“Here’s what I was thinking…”
“I hope your wife enjoys the bouquet Mr.Lee!” He gives you a big smile, waving bye as he steps out of the shop. You let out a breath, feeling satisfied by another happy customer. Leaning back onto the counter, you grab your water bottle and take a sip, only to immediately choke and spit it back out into the bottle when the door chimes.
“Hi! Welcome to-” The words die in your throat when you lay eyes on the man who walked in. His black hair is slightly curled over his forehead, plush lips in a small pout as he takes a look around the store. He’s wearing a white turtleneck with a beige overcoat, making it appear as if he just came out of a photoshoot.
The infamous Kim Sunwoo, a senior at Seoul National University. He’s notorious for sweeping people off their feet in a matter of minutes, being both charming and handsome really works in his favor. You can’t deny that he’s the most beautiful man you’ve ever seen, but you’ve heard the rumors.
don’t get pulled in.
He runs a hand through his hair, flashing you a smile as he steps over to the counter.
oh jesus.
“Hi, I heard you guys make really pretty bouquets?” You nod your head silently, and he cocks his head to the side.
oh BITCH! You’re supposed to speak!
“I mean, I guess so! I’d say bouquets and flower crowns are our specialty.” Sunwoo lets out a small smile, finding you to be a lot cuter than he originally expected. “What’s the occasion?”
Sunwoo takes a good look at you, analyzing your features as you look at him expectantly. He stares into your eyes, tilting his head when he sees how they sparkle back at him. He’s heard a lot about people holding stars in their eyes, but he never believed it.
Until now.
“Um, sir?” Sunwoo shakes his head, rubbing the back of his neck as he snaps himself out of his daze. You look down at your hands, feeling shy at the fact that you just caught Sunwoo basically checking you out. He grins at your shyness, “It’s my friend’s birthday soon, I wanted to get her something nice.”
“Okay, well here’s a photobook of our recent bouquets we’ve made, as well as the customer favorites. My favorite flowers are daisies, but I personally like bouquets with sunflowers because,”
Sunwoo listens attentively as you explain the different bouquets, and the meaning of the flowers added to them. He watches the way your eyes sparkle even more when you talk about something you’re passionate about, even letting out giggles when you look up at him with a bright smile on your face.
“Well, I suppose I’ll get the sunflower bouquet you recommended to me.” You nod your head, typing in the order into the computer. “Great decision.”
“What time will it be ready tomorrow?” Sunwoo asks, leaning forward onto the counter. You find yourself scooting backwards from the close proximity, choosing to look busy with the computer. “I can have it ready by 12 pm, if that works for you?” The pretty boy nods his head, grinning at your shyness.
this will be a piece of cake, Sunwoo thinks to himself.
“Yeah, that’s perfect. My name is Kim Sunwoo by the way.” You nod your head as you type in his name for the order. Glancing up from the computer screen you see him watching you with an amused expression on his face, and you raise an eyebrow. “Is there something on my face? Shit, it might be the sparkles from that ribbon...”
Sunwoo giggles at you, shaking his head. “No, there’s nothing on your face, yn.” You raise an eyebrow again, and he smiles. “How do you know my name?”
He points at your nametag, and you look down at your hands, letting out a small, ah.
i… am stupid.
“Both silly and beautiful, a great combo.” Your eyes widen at the compliment, realizing you’re about to be one of the people that Sunwoo breaks and that’s when you snap out of it. Sunwoo’s smile drops slightly when he sees you look at him with a serious expression on your face, stark contrast to the shy smile you were sporting previously.
“I’ll see you tomorrow, Sunwoo.” He nods his head slowly, giving you a smile before walking out of the shop. You let out a breath, leaning back onto the counter and closing your eyes.
not gonna fall for it.
“It’s been two weeks and you’re telling me she still hasn’t fallen for you yet?” Minji asks Sunwoo as they hangout by the bar. They watch Chanhee from across the club, seeing him giggling with a girl. Sunwoo takes a sip of soju, letting out a sigh as he remembers his failed attempts of asking you on a date.
“No one’s ever said no to me before, so that shit kinda hurt my ego.” Minji rolls her eyes, muttering about how you must either be blind or stupid, or both.
probably both.
“Maybe I should’ve made Chanhee do it.” Sunwoo flashes her a glare, turning away to look around the club. His thoughts keep going back to the first time you turned him down, and he chugs the rest of his soju.
“Here’s the bouquet! I hope your friend likes them.” You tell Sunwoo with a smile, handing him the delicate yellow bouquet. He grins at the bright assortment, finding them a lot prettier than expected. He glances up at you, finding himself staring into your eyes once again as he says,
“She’ll love them, thank you.” You nod your head, typing into the computer that you’ve given the client the flowers. Sunwoo stands idle for a moment, and you look back at him, wondering why he hasn’t left yet.
“Is there something else-”
“Would you like to go on a date with me?” Your eyes widen, clearly taken aback by his request, before you chuckle, “No thank you.”
“Great! I’ll pick you up at- wait.” You stare at him in amusement as he fumbles over his words. “Did you say no?”
“I did.”
“Why?”
“I know the type of guy you are, Sunwoo.” Sunwoo’s shocked expression turns into an amused smile, and you watch as he even lets out a small laugh, shaking his head. He leans onto his elbows on the counter, staring into your eyes, “And what may that be?”
You smile, and he waits for your response. You lean onto the counter as well, watching as Sunwoo swallows from the close distance between the two of you that you initiated.
“The one that makes any girl he wants melt into putty in his hands. Then when he gets what he wants, he leaves. I’m not going to fall for it, Kim Sunwoo.” He blinks at you in shock, and you give him a sweet smile, leaning back and taking a sip of water from your water bottle.
“Have a wonderful day.” Sunwoo snaps out of his state of surprise, and lets out a deep chuckle, looking at you with a challenge to his eye.
“I’ll prove you wrong, pretty. I’ll see you around.”
Sunwoo scowls at the memory, and Minji lets out a sigh when she turns her head to see the crease between his eyebrows. She reaches up and rubs the area with her thumb until the frown disappears, and she gives him a smile.
“Let’s dance, hm?” Not waiting for his answer, she grabs Sunwoo’s hand and brings him onto the dance floor. They sway with each other for a few minutes, with Sunwoo clearly still thinking of you as he blindly follows Minji’s lead. She squints at how unusual Sunwoo’s being, and pats the top of his head.
“She’ll come around Sunu, they always do. When she does, remember the plan.” Minji says in an attempt to reassure him, and he bites his lip, thoughts trailing back to your smile as he says,
“She’s not like them though.”
“Sunwoo, why are you here again?” You ask boredly as you spray the daisies at the front of the shop, not even sparing him a glance. He freezes, before holding out an unopened boba, and you finally turn your head to see him looking at anything but you. “I got you the classic pearl green milk tea, I wasn’t sure what your favorite flavor was so I decided to play it safe.”
You stare for a moment, finding it sort of endearing that he’s too shy to even glance at you right now. Deciding to be nice, you reach out and take it, feeling warmth flood your face when he finally locks eyes with you. Sunwoo wipes his original surprised expression off his face, now smiling at the fact that you took the drink.
It’s been three weeks since Sunwoo’s ordered those flowers, and he’s visited the shop every time you're on shift. He hasn’t even bought flowers since the day he ordered the bouquet, he just comes to talk to you and help out in the shop. He keeps trying to take you out on a date, but you never give him the time of day. Your own boss has fallen for him, nudging your hip and telling you to “say yes to the handsome man already!” You’ve never heard of Sunwoo trying so hard to get with someone, let alone drag it out for three weeks. So now you’re left wondering if he genuinely does like you?
“It’s my favorite flavor, thank you.” Sunwoo lets out a sigh of relief, and the corner of your lip quirks up. You cough into your shoulder, turning around to walk back into the shop after an awkward silence settles over the two of you. He reaches out and grasps your elbow softly to stop you, and you slowly turn your head to look back at him.
“Are you going to ask me if I can go out with you again?”
“…”
“You already know my answer, Sunwoo.”
“Give me one night.” You don’t pull away, and he takes it as a sign to continue. “Let me take you out on one date, and I’ll let you decide whether I’m the type of guy you think I am. You can leave whenever you want, I just want one chance with you.” You stare into his eyes, finding truth to his words, and you let out a sigh.
“Okay.” Sunwoo tries to fight the smile emerging onto his face, resulting in his pretty lips quivering a bit.
“Okay.”
“… Okay.”
“I’ll see you.” Sunwoo says, turning around and beginning to walk away. You immediately frown, “You’re not going to give me your number?!”
“Check the boba!” He yells back, and you glance at the cup to see his number written on it, along with a message.
have a good day at work, yn <3
Biting your lip to stop the warmth from rushing to your cheeks, you turn your head to look at Sunwoo’s retreating figure. A smile breaks out on your face when you see him raise his hands in the air in victory, and you feel your heart warm.
“I guess he’s serious.”
“Hey, I’m here.” Sunwoo says into his phone, and he chuckles at the numerous curses you mutter as you slip on your shoes in a hurry. “I’ll be out in a sec!”
Hanging up the phone, Sunwoo makes sure the passenger seat is clean. He grabs his water bottle, taking a sip as you step into the car. When he swallows the water, he opens his mouth to greet you, only to pause when he lays eyes on you.
Instead of the t-shirt, jeans, and apron he always sees you in at work, you’re wearing a pleated black skirt with a white dress shirt and an oversized argyle patterned vest over it. Feeling Sunwoo’s stare on your side-profile as you buckle in your seatbelt, you turn your head and lock eyes with him, and he snaps out of his daze.
“You, uh.” He coughs into his shoulder in an attempt to hide the blush rising up his cheeks, “You look pretty.” Sunwoo muttters, and you smile shyly.
“Thanks, you look nice too.” He chuckles, pulling out of your driveway. “Just nice?”
“Just nice Sunwoo, don’t push my kindness.” You joke and he rolls his eyes at you. He hands you his phone for you to aux, and you smile happily as you search up a Day6 song to play. Sunwoo sneaks glances at you, and you chuckle when you notice his eyes continuing to be trained on you through your peripheral vision.
“You’re gonna get us in an accident if you keep turning your head to look at me.” He sputters, and you laugh at his reaction. He takes one more look at you as you giggle, finding the sound of your laugh a lot cuter than he should.
“Where are we going for our date?” You ask, and he shrugs. He takes a right at the stoplight before grinning at your question. “You’ll see.”
“Oooh, so it’s a surprise?” Sunwoo doesn’t respond, instead letting out a small hum to the tune of Day6’s new song. You smile, looking out the window to take in the view of Seoul at night for the remainder of the car ride.
“So, how was the date? It’s been like three weeks since we all last hung out like this. I need updates, Sunwoo, updates.” Minji asks as she flips the brisket on the grill. Chanhee takes a cooked piece, turning to look at his friend for his response.
Sunwoo stares at the meat quietly, a small grin appearing on his lips as he remembers how your guys’ first date ended.
“Can’t believe you fell while we were ice skating.” You giggle, and Sunwoo lets out a whine, patting his rather sore butt. He shoots you a playful glare, to which you stick your tongue out at him as he walks you to your door.
“At least I know I was able to make you laugh that hard on our first date.” Sunwoo jokes, and you give him a small smile. You’re surprised that tonight was so fun, it truly exceeded your expectations. The surprise location was the ice skating rink, to which you were incredibly excited for.
Sunwoo brought you there in hopes that he could teach you how to skate, but little did he know, you already knew how to. It ended up becoming a competition between the two of who could do the most intricate tricks. You won though, because Sunwoo literally ate shit when he tried to do an axle.
“So yn, what’s your final opinion of me after tonight? Am I the type of guy you originally thought I was?” Sunwoo asks once the two of you make it to your doorstep. You stare at him for a moment, taking in his handsome features. Tonight’s date was fun, and you learned a lot more about him than you ever thought you would. He’s charming, funny, kind, and lastly, you find him to be genuine.
As you look at Sunwoo, you let out a small breath when you come up with your verdict, and he nervously awaits your response even though he hides it well.
“I don’t know.”
“You don’t know?” He repeats, and you give him a big smile as you open your front door. You slip off your shoes, and turn back to look at Sunwoo.
“Have to go on a second date to come up with my opinion.” You say, closing the door before he can ask more questions.
Sunwoo stands there for a moment, letting your words process in his brain. Once it finally hits him, he lets out a smile, clapping his hands in victory. Sunwoo pumps the air, stepping off your porch and heading towards his car with newfound confidence and excitement filling his veins.
It’s been three weeks since then, and you and Sunwoo have gone on three more “official dates.” The other times the two of you have hung out are for some reason, not considered dates, and more of you guys just bonding. Whether it be helping each other with homework, Sunwoo coming to help you at the shop, or the two of you doing late night convenience store runs to eat ramen, there’s something going on between the both of you.
Chanhee is able to sense something different as he stares at his friend, knowing that this was going to happen. Minji notices as well, considering that Sunwoo still hasn’t answered her question. She frowns at him, reaching out and slapping his arm. He jumps back, startled as he looks at his two best friends.
“You don’t like yn… right?” Minji asks, to which Sunwoo stares at her as memories of you flood his mind when he tries to come up with an answer.
He remembers the way your whole face lights up when food gets placed in front of you, and how you just let your glasses fog up when the two of you eat ramen. He’s tried to take your glasses off when you eat the hot noodle dish, but you would slap his hand away each time, giving him a smile.
“My glasses are just having a sauna, leave them be.”
Minji tilts her head to the side, and that’s when Sunwoo cracks a small smile, looking up at her. “No, I don’t like yn.”
You lay on your bed, scrolling through Twitter to try and find some cursed emoji pictures when you hear your front door unlock. Sunwoo steps in with a bucket of fried chicken, taking off his shoes and slipping into the pair of slippers you left by the door. He places the food on your kitchen counter, before walking over to your room and peeking his head inside to see you laying on your bed, not even giving him a glance.
“You know, if it wasn’t me who entered your house and instead it was some crazy serial killer, you absolutely would’ve died.” Sunwoo says, announcing his presence. You finally look away from your phone, giving him a sarcastic laugh before going back to Twitter. He scoffs, walking into your room and snatching your phone out of your hands.
“Hey!”
You open your mouth to argue, only for Sunwoo to interrupt by saying, “Come eat first, I brought chicken.” It promptly shuts you up, and you stand up off your bed, quickly following him into the kitchen.
You let out a squeal once you see the chicken, opening up the container and taking out a piece. You take a bite, and Sunwoo watches you with a knowing grin on his face. You squint your eyes at him, pointing at the chicken to get him to eat as well. He rolls his eyes, grabbing one and taking a bite.
The two of you spend the next half hour finishing up the chicken. With Sunwoo threatening to throw a bone at you, and you sneaking the crispy pieces of his chicken whenever he’s not looking. Once you’re both done though, you sit down on your couch, still a bit of space between the two of you.
You and Sunwoo have been hanging out for a month and a half now, him even having the spare key to your place while you have his. Sometimes he just randomly comes over to do homework on your floor which scares your roommate to death sometimes, while you sneak over to his at night to steal some of his soju when you run out. Other times you both just watch movies together or play video games. You don’t know what you guys are as neither of you have made a move to make it official.
In all honesty, all the two of you have done to progress your relationship is accidentally brush your hands together. Sunwoo’s just waiting to see if your opinion of him has officially changed, while you’re waiting for him to ask you to be his girlfriend as you are too shy to ask him.
“Yn.” You turn your head to look at Sunwoo, eyes glazing over his handsome features. His black hair that’s usually straight is resting in slight waves on his forehead, emphasizing the overall soft look that he has going on today. “Mm?”
“Have you come up with your final opinion?” Sunwoo asks, reaching out and tucking a stray piece of hair that fell over your nose behind your ear. When you look up into his eyes and he sees the sparkle in them, his hand freezes, staying rested on your cheek.
Your eyes slowly trail down at his pink lips, heart rate increasing when his tongue darts out to lick them. Sunwoo stares at you, feeling the tension in the room rise as he watches your eyes move back up from his mouth. His thumb brushes against your cheek, beginning to hear his heartbeat in his ears by how nervous he is.
“Yn.”
“Sunwoo.”
“Can I kiss you?” Sunwoo watches the way your eyes sparkle up at him, finding himself to be the luckiest man in the world to see you like this. You nod your head slowly, letting out a breath, “Yeah.”
Without wasting another second, Sunwoo leans in close and tentatively presses his lips to yours. Your hand reaches up, entangling your fingers into his hair. He pulls away, just to capture your lips again after a second of staring, slowly leaning you back until you’re laying on the couch.
i don’t like her. i don’t like yn. Sunwoo mutters in his brain like a mantra the more he kisses you. His hand lowers to your hip, squeezing it slightly when you tug on his hair again. He hears his heartbeat in his ears, tingles in his stomach when you slightly suck on his bottom lip.
i don’t like her. this is a game. this is for minji.
“Be my girlfriend?” Sunwoo whispers against your lips in between kisses, completely ignoring what the voices in his head are saying. You pull away, looking at him with wide eyes, but his gaze is focused on your pretty swollen lips.
“Did you just?” He glances up into your eyes, and he lets out a small smile. A giggle comes out of you, and you raise a hand to your warm face.
“Yeah, I’ll be your girlfriend, Sunu.” Sunwoo bites his lip as a grin breaks out onto his face, before leaning back down and kissing you breathless again.
if i didn’t like her, then why do i feel like this? why do i wanna kiss her more, why do i only want to kiss her, why do i not want her kissing anyone else like this?
why does it feel like this isn’t just some game anymore?
“You’re crazy.”
“Says the one who tried to duct tape their friend to the wall once.”
“Okay, in my defense,” You stare at Sunwoo from across the table, giving him an amused smile as you wait for him to continue. “Chanhee let me duct tape him to the wall. It was a joint effort, yn.”
You roll your eyes, reaching out and hitting his shoulder lightly, before taking a sip of your boba. Sunwoo smiles at the sparkle in your eyes, taking note that the sunlight hitting your skin is as beautiful as the cherry blossoms blooming in the spring.
It’s been two months since you and Sunwoo have called it official, three and a half months since the day you guys met, and the two of you have become the talk of your guys’ university. Everyone who knows Sunwoo as the guy who never settles, has finally settled. You’re in the limelight as well, girls either being envious or worried for you, and guys nodding their head in approval at Sunwoo’s decision.
“You’re really pretty like this.” Your eyes widen in surprise at the sudden compliment, beginning to feel shy by Sunwoo’s stare. You look down at your boba, small smile taking over your features. “Like what?”
“Happy. You look pretty when you’re happy.” Sunwoo mutters softly, eyes holding an emotion that is indecipherable to you.
But it’s easy to read for Chanhee as he stares at the two of you from across the cafe. He shakes his head in disappointment, knowing that Sunwoo’s going to have to tell you the truth one day. Chanhee watches as Sunwoo reaches out and rests his hand over yours, a happy smile forming on his face when you make a joke.
i haven’t seen him this happy with another girl in a long time, Chanhee thinks to himself, taking one last sip of his boba. He walks over to the front doors, throwing his cup in the trash. He takes one more glance at the two of you, now finding you excitedly telling Sunwoo a story of who knows what while the latter just stares at you with a fond smile on his face.
All Chanhee knows is that you’re happy, and Sunwoo’s happy, but it’s going to be taken away as soon as you find out the truth.
“Sunwoo, when are you going to end things with yn? It’s been over three months since you two became ‘official’, I’m pretty sure she’s already head over heels for you.” Minji asks from her couch. She blows on her newly painted nails, making sure they dry properly. Chanhee shoots the striped ball into the pocket, taking note of the way Sunwoo visibly stiffens after the question is asked.
“She’s not head over heels.” Sunwoo answers, nodding his head once Chanhee misses the next striped ball. He leans down, getting ready to hit a solid. “Are you sure that’s it? Or have you forgotten our fucking plan?”
Sunwoo pauses, turning his head to look at Minji, only to find her glaring at him. Chanhee lets out a small sigh, pulling out his phone to try and distract himself as the tension in the room rises. Sunwoo rolls his eyes, turning back towards the pool table.
“You’re supposed to make yn fall in love with you and then break her heart so that Mark feels horrible. Did you forget that because you think she’s some good fuck?” Sunwoo slams the pool stick down on the table, actively startling Minji and Chanhee.
“You know that yn hasn’t even mentioned Mark since I first started talking to her? He hasn’t tried to see her either, you know that? It makes me wonder why you even decided to target yn in the first place.” Sunwoo says, turning his head to see Minji’s reaction. He watches as her demeanor shifts slightly, suddenly appearing to look guilty, and he squints at her. Sunwoo pushes off the pool table and walks over to Minji so that he’s standing a few feet from her.
“And don’t you ever degrade yn to just being a good fuck again.” Minji blinks up at Sunwoo, not used to having his anger directed towards her. Her initial shock shortly turns into rage. Laughing, she stands up off the couch to stand her ground. “What a joke, you fucking fell for her didn’t you?”
Sunwoo turns away, clenching his fists as he stares out Minji’s window. Chanhee watches from the pool table, feeling wracked by nerves as he watches his two best friends argue for the first time ever.
“Kim Sunwoo, the man at Seoul National University who was unattainable. The one who was called cold hearted because he’d break the hearts of people left and right, has developed feelings for the pawn in our game.” Minji sneers, now staring at Sunwoo with an amused look on her face. He finally turns and stares directly down into Minji’s eyes, feeling anger flood through him.
“And what about it?” Minji’s mouth drops open slightly, having not expected him to confess. Chanhee stares between the two of them, afraid of the tension rising in the room. “W-What?”
“I’m in love with yn. She’s witty, intelligent, funny, kind, beautiful; if you made a list of all the good traits in the ideal person then that’s yn’s description. I’m not going to play her like that, she’s no longer just a game. And I’m not going to be a pawn in your revenge plot anymore either.” Sunwoo states, before turning around to go and grab his phone. Minji reaches out and grabs his arm, but he doesn’t look back.
“You think she’s going to forgive you when she finds out?”
The room stays silent for a moment, and Minji thinks she’s won from the way Sunwoo’s staring at the floor. Her heartbeat picks up when Sunwoo rips his arm from her grasp, turning to glance at her.
“No, and I hope she won’t ever forgive me when she finds out. Yn deserves someone better than me. Someone who won’t blindly follow their friend and purposefully hurt a girl who didn’t do anything to be involved in this.” Sunwoo states, and Chanhee bites the inside of his cheek, looking down at the floor.
“I’m a horrible, selfish person for what I have done to yn, but I’m going to do at least one thing right and tell yn the truth, myself.” Sunwoo explains, before turning and walking towards the door, raising his hand up to grab the door handle.
“If you walk out that door, we’re no longer friends Sunwoo.” Minji threatens in one last weak attempt to get Sunwoo to stay, feeling afraid that she’s about to lose him. That she no longer has the control she once had over her best friend.
Sunwoo stills for a moment, before grabbing the door handle and ripping the door open, shutting it directly behind him. The slam of the door echoes through the room, a sense of finality settling itself upon Minji and Chanhee.
“Fuck.”
You hum quietly as you tend to the orchids, finding the blue ones to be incredibly pretty on this sunny day. The sound of the door chime rings throughout the shop, and you turn your head to greet the incoming customer.
“Hi! Welcome to Bloom Bloo-”
“Yn?” Your eyes widen when you recognize your old friend, immediately breaking out into a smile as you stand up at your full height to wave at him.
“Mark! What are you doing here?” You ask as you walk over towards him, and he gives you a grin as he opens his arms and pulls you into his embrace. Your eyes widen slightly at the skinship, having briefly forgotten how Mark shows his love as you tentatively wrap your arms around him, patting his back.
“I came to order a burger and fries, actually.” Mark answers when he pulls away, and you squint at the man, pushing him with your hand as you walk over to the register, listening to him laugh that contagious laugh of his from behind you.
“Haha, so funny.” You say, trying to fight back the smile that’s threatening to break out onto your face. Mark catches it though, and giggles to himself. “Based on the smile you’re fighting, I can see that you hold some truth behind that statement.”
You shake your head, turning back towards your friend and getting a good look at him. His brown hair is parted to the side, showing off his forehead and nice eyebrows. He’s wearing a brown hoodie with a black puffer jacket over it, and you purse your lips, wondering why it seems like he put in a bit more effort into his appearance.
“Are you checking me out, yn?” Mark asks with a teasing grin, and you roll your eyes. You open your mouth to respond, only to pause when you hear a familiar voice ring through the shop.
“You better be talking about a bouquet of flowers.” You and Mark look towards the entrance to see Sunwoo standing there, frown on his face. He squints when he locks eyes with Mark, and the brunette raises an eyebrow when he recognizes the man.
“Sunwoo?”
“Sunu, with how much you come into the shop, you should just apply for a job here.” You joke, watching as Sunwoo’s features immediately soften slightly when he looks over at you. He lets out a small smile, shaking his head at you.
“I wouldn’t be able to bring in as many customers as you, anyways.” Sunwoo tells you, walking over and patting your head over the counter.
You grin, grabbing one of the daisy flower crowns you made in the morning and placing it over Sunwoo’s head. Mark glances between the two of you, and he finds himself squinting at Sunwoo when he remembers his reputation on campus.
“You two are dating?” Mark asks, and you nod your head.
“For a bit over four months now.” Sunwoo adds, feeling his heart thump against his chest as Mark stares at him with a hint of suspicion in his gaze. The brunette simply turns back towards you, and gives you a smile.
“I’m happy for you, yn. You’ve been single for as long as I can remem-” Mark sputters when you spray him with the spray bottle full of water, and Sunwoo bites back the laugh that almost escapes him. Mark wipes his eyes and shoots you a glare, making you giggle a bit.
“Yn! I have a date in an hour, don’t ruin my hair.” Mark whines, and you laugh, “Then don’t boast about how lonely I was!”
A frown forms on Sunwoo’s face as he watches you and Mark begin to discuss the numerous bouquet options he can choose from for his upcoming date. The memory of Minji saying that you were the one Mark was showing interest in plays in his mind, and he bites the inside of his cheek, wondering if that was ever even true.
“Take care of those, I made that bouquet this morning!” You say, breaking Sunwoo out of his thoughts as Mark carefully takes the arrangement of flowers from your grasp. He nods his head, “Careful is my middle name.”
“Yeah, yeah. Have fun on your date!” You tell Mark, and he smiles, nodding his head. It comes to Sunwoo’s surprise when Mark turns to him, gesturing towards the door.
“Can you get the door for me, man?” Sunwoo nods his head, walking over and pushing open the door for him. The brunette smiles, walking through the door, but stopping to quietly mutter,
“I know how your trio used to do things in high school, and I know that Minji was upset when I ended things. I only broke up with her because I learned of the type of people you guys are. This better not be one of your trio’s games, because yn doesn’t deserve that. And if it is, then end it now.”
Sunwoo stands frozen as Mark gives him one more smile and sends a wave towards you, before walking out the door. You tilt your head at your boyfriend, wondering why he looks so guilty as he stares down at the ground.
“Sunwoo? Are you okay?” You ask, seemingly breaking him out of his daze. Sunwoo looks back towards you, giving you a smile as he walks over. “Did Mark say something? He’s always been protective, even when we were younger.”
Sunwoo shakes his head at you, reaching out across the counter and taking ahold of your hand. You raise an eyebrow, watching as Sunwoo cups your hand within both of his.
“What’s on your mind, Sunu?”
“Are you free tomorrow?” Sunwoo asks instead, and you stare at him in silence for a moment. You let out a small giggle, shaking your head and reaching out with your free hand, patting the top of his head, the delicate petal of one of the daisies brushing against your wrist.
“Were you nervous about asking me on a date? That’s so cute, but yes. I should be free tomorrow.” Sunwoo gives you a smile, and you find that it doesn’t really reach his eyes as he stares at you.
“Great. I’ll meet you at the bus stop tomorrow, okay?” Sunwoo asks, and you nod your head, warmth flooding your face as you stare at your boyfriend. Sunwoo bites the inside of his cheek from the stars in your eyes, wondering how he’ll ever be able to tell you the truth. He lets go of your hand after pressing a soft kiss to the back of it, turning and walking towards the doors, but stopping to glance back at you.
“See you, pretty.” Sunwoo tells you, and you smile at the nickname.
“I’ll see you tomorrow, Sunwoo!” He grins, pushing open the glass doors and walking out of the shop.
The smile on his face falls once he’s far from the flower shop, and he takes a deep inhale of the Summer air, the daisy flower crown that’s resting over his head suddenly feeling heavy. He finds that it resembles the weight of his heart as he knows that everything’s about to be broken.
one day. i just want to spend one last day with yn.
You sit on the bench by the bus stop, waiting for Sunwoo to arrive so that the two of you can go to the aquarium. You unlock your phone to see if there’s a new message from him, only to see no new notifications.
“I know the feeling.” You jump up, turning towards the sudden voice to find a pretty girl standing beside you. Her brown hair falls in waves down her shoulders, and she’s wearing an off the shoulder floral top paired with a beige skirt. You tilt your head to the side, finding her rather familiar.
“Hi yn, I’m Minji. Sunwoo’s friend.” She introduces, and you have to stop yourself from letting out an ohhh because now you recognize her. “Oh, hi Minji.” You reach out and shake her hand, giving her a smile.
“Are you waiting for the bus?” You ask, and she shakes her head, letting out a small laugh. “I drove. In all honesty, I came to pick you up.”
You raise your eyebrows in surprise, having no clue as to where you’d even go since you haven’t met Minji before. She gives you a smile, “Sunwoo told me to come get you because he’s running a bit late due to Chanhee being silly, per usual. He said he’ll come pick you up at my house.”
“He did?”
“You don’t believe me?” You immediately raise your hands up to tell her you didn’t mean to imply that she’s a liar, but Minji stops you right away while giggling at your antics. “I was kidding yn, don’t worry. Now, do you want to come hangout at my house or do you want to wait here by the bus stop?”
You stare at her for a moment, before letting out a small smile. “I think there’s an obvious answer in that question.”
“Wow! Your house is so nice.” You state as you stare in awe at all the beautiful artworks put on display. Minji waves her hand at you, telling you not to flatter her so much. You follow her up to her room, still looking around with child-like fascination.
damn, this almost makes me feel bad. she’s kinda sweet. Minji thinks to herself as the two of you finally make it up to her room. She places her bag down by her bed, removing the earrings from her ears. You stand shyly by the door, unsure of where to sit, or if you’re even allowed to sit. Minji turns towards you with a grin on her face.
“You can sit over there, yn.” She tells you, pointing over towards the small couch in the corner by her desk. You nod, walking over to go and sit down, only to pause once you see a corkboard laying over the wooden surface.
“I’m going to use the restroom, be right back.” Minji announces, a smile on her face when she sees you staring at the board. She walks out of the room, pulling her phone out of her pocket to call Sunwoo.
“What?” Sunwoo answers as he heads towards the bus stop where you’re waiting. He lets out a soft smile down at the lavender daisies he bought on his way, planning to surprise you with them since they’re your favorite flower. He remembers the small box in his room, a gift he plans to give you after you guys get back from the aquarium. “Just wanted to let you know that you should probably turn around and head over to my house.”
Your hand slowly lifts up the board, tears filling your eyes.
“Why?” Sunwoo pauses when he doesn’t see you sitting at the bench the two of you agreed to meet at. He lowers the flowers once he realizes what Minji means, cursing to himself before turning around and beginning to sprint.
“Have a nice run.” Minji says cheerfully, hanging up the phone and placing it onto the bathroom counter. She smiles, walking into the bathroom to splash water onto her face in an attempt to wash away the small feeling of regret.
You stare at the photos of you taken from your social media, gaze following the red line that lands on different notes with the names of the places you work and hangout at. Your heart shatters as you read the instructions on what to do when Sunwoo meets each new step with you. Your eyes land on the very last note, and it takes everything in you to not crumple onto the floor.
break her heart.
The feeling of wanting to vomit builds up in your throat, the realization that you were just a pawn in their sick game slamming into you like a train. That you fucking fell for it, you fell for him. You drop the board, stepping away from it as if it’s cursed. You quickly leave the room, dashing down the steps and running out the door. Minji watches from upstairs, letting out a sigh once you slam the door shut.
The tears blur your vision as you run off her property, trying to get as far away as you can. You slam straight into a hard chest, stumbling backwards that their hands have to reach out and grasp your arms so that you don’t fall. You wipe away your tears with the back of your hands, opening your mouth to apologize, only to stop when you realize who helped you.
Sunwoo stares back at you, sweat dripping down his face from running, purple daisies on the ground beside him, now missing multiple petals. You rip your arms out of his grasp, feeling a sob bubble up in your chest as the two of you stare at each other in silence.
“Yn, I-”
“Don’t. Just. Stay away from me.” You state, attempting to walk around him, only for him to stop you.
“Yn, please. Let me explain. I can tell you everything, please just-”
“Explain what? That you used me for your revenge plot? That you strung me along for months when I had nothing to do with what happened between Mark and Minji? That you just think of me as some fucking joke?” Sunwoo shakes his head, grasping your arms to try and plead with you. The sob finally breaks out, and you reach up to cover your face. “God, no. Yn, you’re not a joke. You could never be a joke. I never meant for it to get this far. It was all a plan at first but then I got to know you and I fell in l-”
“S-Save it. I don’t want to hear anymore lies.” You mutter, and Sunwoo’s eyes begin to water when you remove his hands from your arms. You stare at him, tears continuing to fall from your eyes as you do so, wondering how you let this happen.
how you let yourself fall for him.
“I-I just wanted one more day. One more day with you, and I was going to tell you everything.” Sunwoo chokes out, hands shaking by his sides as he waits for a response. After a moment of silence, he tentatively reaches up to try and rest his hand on your cheek, “Please, yn. Let me explain-”
“How come I have to get punished just because I love you?”
Sunwoo pauses, staring into your pained eyes as his hand slowly lowers back down to his side. The sparkle that he was so used to, now replaced with the glassiness from your tears. You wipe away the wetness on your cheeks, realizing you confessed that you love him for the first time.
How unfortunate.
With that, you turn around and walk away from him, not looking back. Sunwoo watches your figure shrink until you’re out of sight, and he drops to his knees, tears finally streaming down his face. He rests his face onto his arm, crying loudly as his heart completely shatters from what he ruined. While Minji watches from her gate, gulping down the feeling of guilt as she stares at her best friend experiencing heartbreak for the first time.
“I hope you’re eating well and taking care of yourself. I-” Sunwoo says into the phone as he stares up at his ceiling. Chanhee stares at him from his doorway, feeling sad for his best friend. “I’m sorry, I’m so sorry.” Sunwoo mutters, ending the call before the voicemail can catch the sound of him crying. He places his phone beside him, covering his face with his hands to try and muffle his sobs.
It’s been three weeks since you found out the truth, and Sunwoo’s been calling you everyday since then. He’s refused to leave his room unless it’s to use the restroom or grab food. Other than that, he rots in his bed all day, the feeling of regret and resentment towards himself flooding his veins.
That and soju, lots of soju.
“Sunu, do you want me to bring in the dinner I made?” Chanhee asks, and Sunwoo doesn’t answer, turning over in bed and covering his face with a pillow instead. “You need to eat.”
Sunwoo just curls up even more, closing his eyes as more tears escape. Chanhee lets out a small sigh, walking out to go and grab the food anyways. He lifts up the tray, carefully stepping back into Sunwoo’s room and placing it on his desk.
“It’s there if you need it.” Chanhee says softly, before closing the door.
While you, you’ve also been laying in bed for the past three weeks. Currently you’re listening to the last voicemail Sunwoo left you, crying as you hear his voice shake towards the end when he apologizes. You turn over, clutching your pillow tightly against your chest as you sob. Your roommate looks at your closed door, concern written all over their features as they hear your loud cries.
You haven’t been to work as you called in sick. Your manager understands, having heard from your roommate that you’re not in the best mental state. All you’ve done is eat, sleep, and sit in the shower for hours at a time, just letting the water run over you.
While Sunwoo has hurt you deeply, you can’t help but miss him. You yearn to hear out his side, try and be understanding, try again, but then you remind yourself that you were just a game.
just a game.
“Hi, is yn home?” Your roommate points towards your room. “Be careful though, she hasn’t really left her room for the past month.”
Chanhee gives her an understanding nod, knowing that Sunwoo’s doing the same thing. He slips off his shoes, before walking over to your door and knocking softly on the surface. You turn your head, muttering for them to come in, expecting your roommate. Your eyes widen when the door opens and you recognize Chanhee, Sunwoo’s best friend. You sit up, clutching the pillow tightly.
“What are you doing here?” Chanhee tentatively reaches his hands out, handing you a bag. You raise an eyebrow, taking it from him and looking inside. You let out a breath when you see a jewelry box. You lift it out of the bag, slowly opening it and biting back another sob when you lay eyes on the necklace.
“He was going to give it to you the day you guys were supposed to go to the aquarium, as a way to tell you he loves you, and that he’s sorry.” Chanhee explains, and you stare at the way the light reflects against the daisy pendant of the necklace.
“I know you might not want to hear this at all, but I’ve never seen Sunwoo pine after someone, let alone fall in love with one. Yet, I saw both of those things happen with you.” You slowly look up at Chanhee, who’s giving you a small, hopeful smile. “I know what he did was shitty, I tried to stop them from including you in the plan in general. I just, I’ve seen how you’ve changed him for the better. I know Sunwoo, and I know that he really regrets what he did. He wouldn’t be calling and texting you everyday if he didn’t. He doesn’t even text me, honestly.”
You look at the necklace, feeling sad, but somehow a bit better, more reassured. You glance back up at Chanhee, giving him a nod. “Thank you Chanhee.”
He gives you a smile, “Of course. Anything for your guys’ happiness.”
It’s been a month and a half since everything happened, and you’re finally leaving your room. It’s not much in your eyes, but your roommate was ecstatic about it, even though it’s just a trip to the convenience store. It’s also quite literally two am, but they said, any outside air is good air! You trudge over in your grey sweats and oversized black sweater, lifting up your glasses to rub your eye with the back of your hand.
Once you’re at the convenience store, you head straight towards the ramyun, grabbing the eight pack and walking out of the aisle. You step over to the register, pulling out your card to pay for it. The chime of the door opening grabs your attention, and you tiredly look up, only to freeze when you lock eyes with Sunwoo.
He doesn’t look any better, bags prominent under his eyes, black t-shirt hanging loosely on his shoulders. However, you still see him as the most handsome guy you’ve ever seen. Shock is evident on his features as he stares at you, unsure of what to do. Sunwoo’s eyes trail down when something flickers at him, seeing the daisy pendant glimmer back at him from the light. He opens his mouth to say something, only for you to turn back towards the cashier once they hand you the bag of ramyun and your receipt.
Sunwoo clenches his fist, walking over towards the aisle where the soju is. You let out a shaky sigh, turning your head to look at his retreating figure, debating on following after him. After a moment, you shake your head, choosing to walk out of the store sadly.
Sunwoo stares at the box of soju for a moment after hearing the bells, signaling you left the store. He bites the inside of his cheek, having an internal battle with himself.
What if she doesn’t even wanna talk to me? She hasn’t answered my calls or texts for the last month and a half, that means she hates me.
I have no chance, she’ll never forgive me.
She shouldn’t forgive me for what I did.
I miss her.
Fuck.
Sunwoo immediately turns around and runs towards the door, forcefully shoving it open and feeling the cool night air hit him. He’s about to rush in the direction of your house, but immediately stops when he sees you waiting right there, sitting on the steps, your bag of ramyun placed beside you. You slowly turn your head, looking up at Sunwoo.
“Yn.”
“Sunwoo.”
The two of you stare in silence again, and you break it by patting the empty space beside you.
“I don’t think anyone will come to the shop in awhile, it’s literally two am.” You say, and Sunwoo lets out a breathless chuckle. He takes another step before sitting down beside you, and that’s when you both fall into another silence. Except this time it’s more comforting, being with each other after yearning for so long but knowing it was best to stay away.
“You look like shit.” You state, effectively breaking the silence, and Sunwoo glances at you, a grin gracing his features. He turns away, shaking his head and looking up towards the stars. “I know.”
You follow suit, staring up at the stars as well. A small smile appears on your face after a moment, and you turn your head to look at Sunwoo, only to realize he’s already staring at you. He lets out a content sigh, finding the stars slowly making their way back into your eyes. You turn away once you feel the warmth rush up to your cheeks, choosing to look at the parked car in front of the two of you. He looks back up towards the stars, trying to find which one shines the brightest.
Sunwoo comes to the conclusion that you shine brighter than the billions of stars in the sky as he does so.
“I’m sorry.” Sunwoo says after a moment, the sound of resentment present in his voice, and you let out a breath.
“I know.”
The two of you sit in silence, staring at your surroundings. A tear slips past your eye, and you wipe it away with your sweater paw. You wrap your arms around your knees, hugging them close to your chest as you stare at the empty road.
“I missed you, Sunwoo.” Sunwoo harshly bites the inside of his cheek, tears falling past his eyes as he continues to stare up at the night sky.
“I missed you too, yn.”
You let out a shaky breath after a moment, before leaning over and resting your head on Sunwoo’s shoulder. He freezes slightly at the contact, but relaxes. After a moment, he lays his head over yours, and that’s when you both know you’ll be okay.
we’ll be okay.

_____
“If y’let me in, I’m ready to give you what I couldn’t before.”
He wrung his hands as he stood in front of her door. His stomach a mess of anxiety, sweat on his brow, he had realized just how badly he fucked up when her face barely moved. Stoic. This wasn’t his Y/N.
It had started off as simply fuck buddies. Friends with benefits. And it progressed through the months. They did things that friends with benefits shouldn’t. Snuggles and kisses and sweet nothing. Picnics and movie dates and private fluff that really had her believing that they were more than just random fucks.
Harry had wanted to have his cake and eat it too. When Y/N had opened up his phone to some sexting going on back and forth between Harry and some sorority girl, she felt her heart shatter. Seeing him talk about it wanting to taste someone else and wanting to see how tight she was, making plans to see her the day Y/N was going out of town… it had utterly wrecked her.
When confronted, Harry panicked. They had never claimed exclusivity but everything had hinted at it. His idea was that when she was away, he could play a bit and come back to have the soft snuggles and hot sex with her. There was nothing wrong with tasting a few more things, right? I didn’t matter that his stomach didn’t felt right doing it.
His mates had been on his back about the fact he wasn’t dating her and also not taking advantage of being in college. They’d gotten to his head, and he was set up with Stacey and she was good looking, decent enough. She was willing and eager and They’d texted back and forth, Harry not thinking twice about leaving his phone in the bed with Y/N as he went to the bathroom.
When she opened his phone with the few dings it had, she felt like she could throw up.
S: I can’t wait until you come over. I haven’t been fucked in agesssss.
S: honestly? I’ve had my eye on you for a while.
S: I got a set I think you may like. You said you liked red, right? ;)
Attached was a photo of a toned body in a red lace outfit, nipples able to be seen and a bare bottom with a hand covering her cunt.
S: if you can find some time to come sooner… I’ll be waiting. Xxxx
Y/N felt like she couldn’t breathe. Hand shaking slightly as she stood up, grabbing her clothes and hastily putting them on. She was so fucking stupid. So dumb. Harry was like everyone else. And it was her fault for letting this go on as much as it did.
Harry’s brows furrowed as he walked out of the bathroom to see her hastily getting dressed, tears streaming down her face. His heart broke, hating seeing her any type of upset. It was instinct, rushing to grab her and pull her into his body.
“Baby… wha’s happened? What’s the mat-“ he was interrupted by a shove, loosing his balance and falling on to the bed.
“What’s the matter? I’m…. Please, don’t touch me.” She said quietly. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to shove you. But this… it isn’t going to work anymore Harry. I obviously was thinking it was more than this was, and that’s my fault. You stated your opinions and wants and I was fine with that at the time-“ her voice cracked, and Harry’s stomach dropped. What was she talking about? She couldn’t know….
“Your texts. You’ve got a lovely girl named Stacey who has a nice set for you to see when y’go over on the day I leave to go back home for a day.” The bitterness was tasted even on Harry’s tongue, his throat feeling thick as he stood up. She wasn’t supposed to see those.
Shit. Shit. Why did he feel like this, like he had cheated when they weren’t anything? Why did he feel like he wanted to get sick and cry?
“We-we arent exclusive! We aren’t and y’said that was fine, we arent.” He sputtered out, making it worse. Her face dropped and her eyes hit the ground, the silence broken by a sniffle.
“Yeah. We aren’t, I guess. I dunno… when it’s a few months in and you do all those… dates, and y’introduce me to your mum and sister And have me come out every night and call me your girl… it all seemed like more. Everyone keeps askin’ me how long we’ve been dating and I suppose I’m an idiot for saying a few months when…. I jumped the gun and believed that everything you said… that I’m the most beautiful girl and youre so lucky to have me, that I’m the best you’ve ever had…. It’s easy to believe it when you must have so much practice saying it.” She laughed bitterly, throwing her shoes on her feet, throwing Harry’s shirt off and pulling on her own.
It felt like he got punched in the stomach. Realizing how badly he had fucked up, bur his ego wasn’t allowing him to admit it. The technicalities saved him, Didnt they?
“I don’t know what you want me to say.” He said though the tears burned behind his eyes. He refused to show how it was effecting him. Instead of being hit, shoved again, yelled at, she just nodded, shocking him.
“Yeah. I don’t know… I thought… was living in a fantasy land. You were giving me what I wanted but it’s obvious now that you were playing a game. You can’t actually give me what I want. I wanted to be with you.” She pushed the hair out of her face, Harry helplessly sitting on the bed as she gathered her things. The panic was setting in but he didn’t dare make a noise about how the makeup wipes being thrown into her bag tore him apart. She was leaving, leaving.
“We don’t have to- we don’t hav’ta stop, Y/N. Why?” He knew he sounded stupid when her head snapped to him, irritation covering her face.
“I know that my pussy is apparently too good and you continued this whole charade to keep it, but you can’t give me what I want. I want a boyfriend. I want someone to love me and give me those forehead kisses and say those beautiful things you said to me and mean them. You can’t give me that, can you?” The last piece of hope had shattered when he stayed silent, the silence staying around until she slammed the door shut and walked out of his life.
It hasn’t been too long since then, and he knew immediately that he was fucked up. His texts and called remained ignored and unopened. Her friends had told him to fuck off, and he understood. Mitch had smacked him upside the head and he couldn’t stomach the looks Sarah and Evie had given him when they’d found out why Y/N wasn’t tagging along anymore.
So that’s how he ended up outside her apartment door, knocking and speaking through the door. “Please. I’m a fucking idiot, Y/N … I’m an arrogant son of a bitch and I didn’t want to back down but please let me in. I meant ever bring I said to you before then. I haven’t fucked anyone else since you. Please let me in.” His voice broke, resting his head against the cool wood. “Let me give you what you want.”
His breathing caught as he heard the click of the lock.

ignoring them for 24 hours ✧ hc
you ignore your boys for 24 hours. or, at least, you try to.
genre: fluff
requested: yes! i added todoroki just cause
as perceptive as he is
izuku probably notices immediately how you’re avoiding him
you two wake up at similar times because you go to sleep at similar times, but this time you woke up before him
he gave you a sweet “good morning” and kissed your cheek, but you only smiled and went to the bathroom
he thought that was strange. you usually say good morning back
but then again, it was such a small thing that he didn’t really overreact over it
however, when you left his dorm without saying goodbye or anything like that he got a little worried
once classes were beginning, he went to your dorm to pick you up and walk you to class like usual but
you were already gone.
“what the...” he would murmur to himself, frowning now
what was up with you? were you ignoring him or something?
what even annoyed him further was that you spent the whole day with fucking bakusquad!
bakugo didn’t seem to like it of course, but kirishima and the others accepted your company like it was nothing
he tried to sit next to you at lunch but once bakugo noticed his presence, he immediately yelled at the green haired boy to “fucking beat it!”
“but i-“
“WHAT DID I JUST SAY?!”
the fact that you didn’t even come to his defense kind of hurt him
he didn’t even eat at lunch
he was so bummed out that he just poked at his food with a frown on his face
of course you noticed this. you had been watching him all day and it broke your heart to see your baby like this omg ㅠㅠ
you couldn’t do it anymore. you got up and sat next to him at lunch and you swear he shined brighter than the sun when he saw you
“y/n! i-you-“
“i was trying to praaank you,” you pouted. “but you looked so upset after what that bomb bitch said-i couldn’t do it anymore.”
his pout matched yours.
“don’t do that again... i was seriously worried!”
he makes you stay by him for the rest of the day 😭
ignoring him for 24 hours challenge: failed.
y/n only lasted 5-6 hours.
todoroki literally doesn’t notice at all
he doesn’t talk much, and seeing that you don’t talk to him much in the morning doesn’t really bother him
he just assumed you were tired and didn’t really care
you two usually got coffee together in the morning but as he went to the common room to wait for you, he was a bit peeved that you didn’t show up
he just assumed you fell asleep or something, or maybe you weren’t in the mood
not gonna lie, he was already missing your presence but he wouldn’t push you to interact with him if you weren’t in the mood
when he goes to class though, he sees you laughing and smiling with the rest of dekusquad
having a good time, apparently
he sits with you guys and listens, and his brows furrowed when he heard you say
“i wish i would’ve gotten coffee this morning. really wanted some mocha.”
...?
did you forget that you two got coffee literally every morning?
okay, whatever. something was definitely wrong with you but he wouldn’t push.
you two also sit together during lunch but you sat between tsu and izuku instead
he’s like
what. the fuck.
he stares at you for the entirety of lunch time 😭
he doesn’t even mean to, he’s just so confused?
like why are you ignoring him? you guys didn’t fight or anything last night so ?? why??
the day continues like that
whenever he comes around you leave, whenever he talks you look away from him
he’s a mixture of irritated and annoyed
irritated bc he doesn’t know why you’re acting this way, and annoyed because he wants to fucking talk to you
you’re one of the only people in this class he talks to on a daily basis and you’re pushing him away??
he only says something when it’s kind of late and everyone is tucked away in their dorms
he has a key to your dorm room don’t ask why so he goes ahead and enters
you’re on your bed, giggling about how well the prank is going to mina when you hear the doorknob jiggle and your boyfriend enter the room
“shoto!”
“we need to talk, y/n.”
you make a face. “actually, i-“
“y/n.”
the sternness in his voice makes you look up at him, kinda scared at just how serious he looks
“you’ve been ignoring me all day. why? did i do something?”
“i—“
“if i did, please tell me. communication is important in every relationship and our relationship is very special. if you do not talk to me, i have no way of knowing what i did to hurt you and-“
“shoto! oh my god, it was just a prank!” you tell him quickly, standing up and holding out your arms.
he lowkey makes a 🤨 face.
“a prank...?”
“yeah. ignore your boyfriend for 24 hours prank,” you sigh. “i was so close.”
he sighs with you, walking over to hug you tightly, which feels so good after today.
“it’s a very stupid prank.”
you giggle against his chest.
“yeah. very stupid.”
ignoring him for 24 hours challenge: failed.
y/n only lasted 18 hours.
another one that notices immediately
you went the extra mile as to leave his dorm way earlier than he wakes up, which-
how tf did you do that
he automatically doesn’t fucking like that.
“y/n?!” he’ll yell out into his bathroom and grumble when you aren’t in there, or anywhere else in his room
he doesn’t even see you until class starts, sitting and laughing with fucking dekusquad
not only that, with midoriya
“hey dumbass, why’d you leave my dorm so early today?!” he asks you, and your eyes don’t even meet his.
you just continue scribbling at your desk.
his eyes turn white.
“i’m talking to you!”
“bakugo, please go have a seat. you’re being incredibly too loud.” aizawa would tell him, slipping his face out of his yellow sleeping bag.
he looks at his teacher, then at you, then back at his teacher before cursing and marching to his desk
probably always glancing at you through the day
the fact that you’re smiling and laughing with fucking deku
that just makes his mood even worse
you’re supposed to be smiling and laughing with him, not that crybaby
obviously his friends notice how mad he is
“dude, why so pent up?” kirishima would ask him and bakugo would literally snark
the red head smirks. “oooh—its y/n isn’t it.”
bakugo pauses.
“how the fuck did you know-“
“you know she’s pranking you, right?” kirishima would laugh at the look of anger that crosses bakugo’s face.
you’re ignoring him for a... a...
a PRANK?!
he’s livid.
during training he will not hesitate to march up to you
“you think it’s funny to ignore your boyfriend for a stupid prank, huh?! you think that’s so funny don’t you?!”
“bakugo, i-“
“SILENCEEEE!” he’ll literally roar at you and blast you like 10 feet away 😭
cue him being your partner and beating you up for practice
ignoring him for 24 hours challenge: failed.
y/n only lasted 5 hours.
kirishima understands the concept of “personal space”
he knows that sometimes, you don’t wanna be bothered
and sometimes, he doesn’t wanna be bothered
but sometimes he doesn’t care about that concept.
he will poke and pester at you if you do this challenge.
if you wake up and don’t say anything to him, he’ll yank you down to the bed and whine at you until you manage to squirm out of his arms and go to your own dorm room
he’ll stand right next to you during breakfast
and i mean he will always be standing next to you.
no matter how many times you move around the tables, he’ll somehow end up next to you
like ?? does he have super speed or something 😭
he will not tolerate you ignoring him
like not at all
during class if he cracks a few jokes and you don’t respond to them he’ll probably fake cry
“y/n, you’re making me feel very unmanly right now!”
you swear you didn’t know it would be this hard
he probably notices it’s a prank though when he’s walking next to you in the halls and you’re not even speaking to him, just staring forward
“ahh... you’re trying to play a little joke on me or something? well, we’ll see how long you keep that up!”
retorts to making you jealous the entire day.
hangs out with literally every girl, even the fucking invisible bitch
you can’t take it anymore when it nears 6pm and he asks uraraka to come back to his dorm and watch movies with him
being the amazing girlfriend you are, you get up, land in his lap, and cuddle up to him tightly
he grins at you, preppering you with kisses
“told you you wouldn’t last, y/n.”
ignoring your boyfriend for 24 hours challenge: failed.
y/n only lasted 11 hours.

No Scrubs
Well a scrub checkin' me, but his game is kinda weak
And I know that he cannot approach me
'Cause I'm looking like class and he's looking like trash
Can't get wit' a deadbeat ass
Pairing: Steve Rogers x fem!Reader
Words: 3.1k
Summary: You try to keep Steve from dying of boredom at an Avengers charity gala.
Warnings: explicit language, explicit sexual content (oral sex (f receiving), fingering, unprotected vaginal sex, squirting, public sex), little bit of a fight, SMUT!!! 18+ ONLY!!!!!
A/N: My official entry for @cockslut-padalecki’s “Not My Ninth” challenge!! My prompt was No Scrubs by TLC and Charity Gala. I picked our boy Steve for this one, but like post Avengers pre Winter Soldier Steve. Also, is Thor the best wingman? I feel like I’ve been using him in this role a lot. Happy 9K babe!
Check out my masterlist and join my taglist if you want!
Steve had never felt so uncomfortable in his life.
He hated talking about himself normally, and having to parade around in front of a bunch of rich people was a special kind of torture. But Tony was insistent that the whole team had to be there, and it was for a good cause so he couldn’t say no without being a complete asshole.
He downed the rest of his champagne as some other billionaire asked him the same damn question about how different things were for him now, how much he must miss the 40s, like the war was some golden age of Americana. He just smiled and gave the same polite answers he’d been giving all night, wishing he was able to get drunk. Maybe Thor had snuck in some mead, that could usually do the trick.
“I’m so sorry to interrupt, Captain Rogers, but Mr. Stark sent me to come find you. Something about the silent auction.”
Steve felt his face relax as he turned to look at you, his breath coming out in a deep sigh. You looked amazing in your silver gown, all shimmery and gauzy.
“Sorry folks, duty calls.” He said with a shrug as he followed you away from the stuffed suits. “What does Tony want? I don’t have anything to do with the auction.”
“Yeah, I know, but your jaw was clenched so hard I was worried you were gonna snap something, so I figured I’d come rescue you.” You said, grinning over your shoulder at him.
“God, you’re the best.” He sighed, following you to the bar and leaning against it as you ordered yourself a cocktail.
“I know, right? You want anything?”
“Not unless Thor snuck anything in. It’s only been an hour and I’m this close to ramming my head through a wall.”
“Sorry Cap, I hate these things too but it comes with the territory.” You said with a shrug, sipping on your Manhattan as you turned to face him. “Now, lets go find our Asgardian friend. As your handler, I can’t have you destroying property out of boredom, and I’m pretty sure I saw that giant sipping from a contraband flask a little earlier.”
He grinned as he moved to follow you, weaving through the crowd as you expertly turned away the whales that kept trying to approach him. You were his fifth handler since the battle of New York, and the only one that had lasted longer than a week. Mostly because you didn’t actually try to handle him, just let him be Steve and deal with any PR fallout that came with that. It helped that you had an easygoing nature that he found endearing, and you could always make him laugh. The fight you’d gotten into with Tony about changing his suit had really done it for him though, he hadn’t seen anyone make Stark back down so fast.
“Odinson!” You shouted, beaming once you found the massive blonde. He’d been cornered by a group of old blue hairs who were tittering and trying to touch his biceps. “Sorry ladies, the god of thunder is needed elsewhere, auction business.”
They all made sounds of disappointment as you extracted the relieved looking god from the group of old biddies, pulling him away towards one of the empty corners of the ballroom.
“What is this auction you speak of?” Thor asked once the three of you were separated from the crowd.
“A clever ruse, my good friend.” You said with a smirk. “You’re welcome by the way. The Captain here is on the verge of committing violent acts out of boredom, and expressed a desire to get drunk.”
“Yes, thank you Y/N.” He said with a grin. “I don’t think I can help the Captain with his problem though, maybe he should head to the bar.”
“Oh, you can’t help?” You said cocking your eyebrow at him before shoving your hand inside his tux jacket and pulling out a silver flask. “What’s this then?”
Steve chuckled as Thor tried to stammer out a reply as you just shook your head and tutted at him, handing Steve the flask.
“Listen, just be a good boy and share. Now, I need to go to the ladies room but if any of these rich assholes tries to come bother you again, just start talking about the horrors of war, and get graphic. They hate that shit.”
Steve handed Thor back the flask after taking a sip, already staring to feel a bit of a tingle in his fingers.
“That woman is not to be trifled with.” Thor said appreciatively as he took a swig, handing it back to Steve. “Have you slept with her yet?”
Steve choked on the mead, his eyes bugging out of his head as he tried to cough up a lung and Thor clapped him on the back, scolding him for wasting good liquor.
“Jesus, Thor! What are you talking about? I don’t want to sleep with Y/N!”
“Oh my god, you midgardians and your hang ups. Your hormones spike every time your around her, it’s very distracting.”
“What?!?! How do you know that?” Steve loosened his tie a bit as he felt himself starting to warm up, telling himself it was just from the booze.
“I’m not just the god of thunder, I’m a fertility god.” He said with a grin. “And every time you two are near each other, it’s like being around a couple of rabbits in the spring.”
“Oh god, please stop.” Steve said as he ran his hand over his face in embarrassment.
“No you stop. We’re in a hotel, just get a room and , what’s the phrase I’m looking for ‘fuck her brains out’.”
“Jesus Christ, who taught you that? Never mind, I know it was Tony.” He said, waving a dismissive hand at Thor as he gave him a wicked grin.
“Oh no.” Thor said suddenly, looking over Steve’s shoulder towards the ballroom.
“What now?” Steve said with a heavy sigh, turning to follow his line of sight to where you were standing, talking to an unsteady looking man in a sloppy tux. “Rumlow.”
“Yes, apparently your STRIKE team leader has been sniffing after your handler for months.” Thor narrated, leaning against one of the columns and taking another pull from the flask. “She’s always rebuffed him, though. I don’t think he’s ever tried when he’s drunk before. Wait, Rogers!”
Steve ignored him as he strode towards you, growling under his breath and loosening his tie even more as he watched Rumlow wrap his hand around your bicep and yank you towards him. Steve was close enough to see you roll your eyes, but couldn’t hear what you said to the man as he wrapped his other arm around your waist and smashed his mouth against yours.
“Hey!” Steve shouted, his brow furrowed as Brock pulled his face away from yours to see what the interruption was about.
You took your chance and head butted him, a curse leaving his mouth in a hiss as he released you. You gripped his left wrist around his thumb and drew it back hard, smirking when you felt a snap at the same time you drove you fist into his ribs.
Steve had to pull you off him as you started beating him with your clutch, opening it up at the same time to search for your brass knuckles.
“You don’t fucking touch me, you goddamn sloppy deadbeat motherfucker!” You screamed as Steve carried you away from the main floor, your limbs flailing as you tried to charge back at Rumlow. “Learn to tie a fucking tie you cocksucking son of a bitch.”
Steve did his best not to crack up at the shocked looks the blue bloods were giving you, a chorus of offended gasps following the two of you as you released a steady stream of profanity. He pushed open the doors to the balcony with one hand as he kept his other hand wrapped tightly around your waist as you were still trying to squirm free.
“Damn it, put me down Rogers! I’ll kick your ass too!” You hissed, turning to swat at his chest.
“Okay, okay, Jesus Christ!” He said as you started to kick him, catching him in the shins a couple of times. “Ow.”
“You’re fine.” You said with a shrug, taking a couple deep breaths to calm down.
“Yeah, well Rumlow definitely isn’t. Who gave you brass knuckles?” He said, pulling the weapon out of your clutch.
“Nat did. And it’s not like I even got to use them on that asshole.”
“Yeah but you would’ve.” He said, shaking his head as he handed them back to you. “He didn’t hurt you did he?”
You just snorted as you shoved the knuckles back into your clutch, leaning your back against the railing.
“Good.” He mumbled, suddenly not knowing what to say to you.
You somehow looked even better after your altercation. Your hair was a wild tangle now, loose strands blowing in the breeze. Your lips were swollen from the unwanted kiss, and Steve could feel the heat coming off you as your chest heaved with deep breaths. He hissed through his teeth when he noticed the torn skin on your knuckles.
“Shit, Y/N, you’re bleeding.” He growled, grabbing your hand to inspect the damage.
“Huh, guess so.” You said, watching him through your lashes as he brought your hand closer to his face.
You felt your breath hitch as he ran his thumb over the back of your hand softly, his brow still furrowed with worry. Maybe it was just the adrenaline from the fight, but all you could think about just then was sucking on his thick fingers.
“Y/N?”
“Hmm?” You must have zoned out for a second.
“You sure you’re ok?”
“I’m great.” You said, your voice a little squeakier than you would’ve liked.
He took a step closer to you and you gasped, suddenly feeling very light headed as you felt a rush of slick flood your panties. His hand left yours and moved to cup your cheek, his thumb tugging at your bottom lip where you had it pressed between your teeth.
“I think I’m gonna kiss you now.” He muttered, his eyes boring into yours, pupils blown wide with lust.
“Good.” You whispered.
His mouth devoured yours, his teeth pulling your lips open so he could slip his tongue inside, curling it against yours as he wrapped his arm around your waist and pressed you against him. You moaned as you felt his cock hardening against your abdomen, your pussy throbbing with need as he ground himself into you.
He started to sink to his knees and you followed him, your mouth still pressed to his desperately. His hand moved from your waist to dig under your skirt and he let out a growl when he brushed his fingers against your core, pressing them against the soaked silk of your panties.
“Fuck, I wanna taste you so bad.” He grumbled, his lips still pressed to yours. “Wanna see if you taste as good as you smell.”
“Oh god, Steve.” You moaned as he hooked his fingers through the side of your panties and ripped them off you, the elastic snapping against your skin and a shove going up your spine as the night air cooled the wetness between your thighs. “Do it.”
He grinned and gave you a quick peck on the lips before he started to move his mouth down your throat. His hand between your legs started rubbing you in big slow circles as he laid you down, putting just enough pressure on you that you were quickly turning into a wriggling mess.
“Hold still, honey.” He ordered, pulling the sleeves of your dress down just enough that your breasts could pop out, your nipples pebbling in the chilly air. “I’m gonna take my time with you.”
“Fuck.” You moaned as he dragged his tongue over your nipple in a heavy stripe before flicking it softly. Your hands dug in his hair as he sucked and licked at it, just barely brushing it with his teeth until it was raised to an overly sensitive peak before he moved to the other nipple and repeated the process, making you whine.
Once he was satisfied with his work, he pressed a soft kiss to each breast before moving his face between your legs. His hand was making soft wet sounds now as he kept rubbing your sex, and he groaned when he removed it to take a good look at you.
“Fuck if that ain’t the prettiest pussy I’ve ever seen.” He murmured as his lips brushed over your inner thigh.
Your cunt was pulsing with need under his gaze, your plump folds swollen and flushed with heat as he watched you clench around nothing. Everything between your legs was coated in a thick layer of your arousal, and he bit his lip as he watched even more leak out of you.
“I bet I could make you cum with almost nothing, sweetheart.” He teased as he nipped at the soft skin of your inner thighs, inching closer to your pussy before moving away again.
“Steve, please!” You whined, trying to arch your back into his face as you tugged on his hair.
He just grinned before pressing his tongue over your pussy and swirling it through your folds. He had to press his palms down on your hips to keep your body from curling back on itself as he ran his tongue over your sex, lapping at your pussy like his was the first meal he’d had in weeks.
“God you taste so good.” He murmured as he gazed at you through his lashes. “Like fucking peaches.”
You sobbed as he thrust his tongue inside you at the same time his lips wrapped around your swollen clit, making you come immediately. He curled his tongue inside you as your release flowed into his mouth, moaning into your pussy as you spasmed against his face.
Your breath was coming in ragged gasps as you came down, your muscles still twitching randomly as aftershocks shook through your abdomen. He grinned as he sat up over you, undoing his tie before moving to take off his belt as you writhed underneath his gaze. Your brain finally reset and you sat up between Steve’s legs, nuzzling yourself into his neck as you worked to unbutton his shirt.
“You back, honey?” He chuckled as you ran your teeth over his collarbone, dipping your hands under his shirt to press against his chest. “I was a little worried.”
“You’ll find I’m extremely resilient, Steve.” You murmured before sinking your teeth into his pec as you started to undo his fly.
“Shit, good to know.” He groaned as you drew his cock out of his pants and gave it a squeeze.
He gripped your chin and drew your face up to his, raising you up to your knees as he gave you a soft kiss. You moved his cock in your hand to line him up with your entrance, teasing his tip against your folds. Steve wrapped his hands around your waist and lifted you a bit higher before slowly drawing you down onto his length.
You let out a thin keen as he stretched you open, relishing the sting as your cunt fluttered around him, adjusting to his girth. He rested his forehead against yours as he started moving his hips at a languorous pace.
“Fuck, you feel so good.” He muttered against your lips before moving to bury his face in your shoulder. “So tight and warm and soft.”
You gripped the hair at the base of his neck tightly as his hips started moving faster, slapping against yours. You felt yourself clench around him as he ground against your clit, making you gasp.
“Shit, Steve! Right there!”
“Jesus, already?” He murmured, running his lips over your throat.
“Just... fuck, you’re so big, Steve. Oh my god, I’m cumming.”
He hooked a hand under your ass to keep you from collapsing as your entire body arched violently, almost bending backwards on itself as you swallowed a scream. Your cunt fluttered and spasmed around him as he lifted you to wrap around him, his breath hot against your neck.
“Holy shit honey.” He muttered as he pulled you down against him, making you whimper. “You ok?”
“I’m great. Don’t you fucking stop.” You said, tilting his head back so you could press your mouth to his.
He grinned against your lips as he fucked his hips up into you, keeping his eyes locked on yours as his cock dragged over every inch of you, nudging against your cervix and making your breath hitch.
“Right there?” He asked as you dug your nails into his scalp and bit at his lips.
“Fuck, oh goddamn it, Steve.”
You shrieked into his mouth as you came apart, your muscles seizing as your pussy strangled his cock. His hips stuttered and you were suddenly flooded with warmth, his spend sitting into you and coating your canal in thick white ropes. He sat back on his heels and pulled out of you, and you shuddered as your release squirted all over the front of his pants.
“Shit, did you just squirt honey?” He asked, giving you an appreciative glance as he started to tuck himself back in and button his shirt up.
“I think so. Fuck, that’s never happened before.” You said with a shrug.
“Well, damn baby.” He said as he stood up, offering you a hand to help you to your feet.
“Shit, we’ve gotta go back in there.” You said, running your hand over your face. “Oh my god, Stark is going to kill us. Hold on and give me a second to think.”
Steve just leaned back on the railing and gave a satisfied smile as he watched you pace back and forth, wringing your hands.
“Ok I think I’ve got it, just one second.”
You went to the door and opened it a crack, popping your head through, jumping when you found Thor leaning against the wall right there.
“Hey, Thor. What’s up buddy?”
“Just keeping the other guests from wandering out and seeing you and the Captain humping like rabbits.”
“Appreciate it. We need a distraction though, cuz we’re both a little messy, and I don’t really feel like explaining that to everyone.”
“Got it, what if I blow out the lights in that chandelier?”
“I think that’ll probably work.” You said, giving him a nod before turning back to Steve. “Alright Rogers, we’re making a run for the elevator. Thor, blow it.”

I Don’t Like You
Rindou x F!Reader
-Someone likes you, but they’d jump out a window before they admit it. Literally.
Warnings: cussing, annoying Ran, minor violence (?)
School confessions were always so awkward. Especially when greeted with rejection. So Rindou Haitani was writing his, he cringed. He simply couldn’t keep these feelings in any longer. He also didn’t know how to express his feelings very well. So what was he supposed to do? Just tell you he likes you? It’s not like you would even believe it. Which he doesn’t blame you for. As Rin seems to have a resting bitch face.
Anything he tells you, you either take it the wrong way because of his face, or he says it wrong because of his well…face. His tone can be quite monotone as well which doesn’t help. So when you change you hair style one day and he stares at you, you automatically never do it again as you think he’s disgusted at it. Or when he ask, “Is that a new shirt?” With a plain face and bored eyes you assume he also doesn’t think it’s very cute. So even if he did try to confess in person, you’d probably think he’s playing a sick joke.
Crumpling up another letter he became infuriated. He just can’t seem to get his feelings right. His cheeks are burning red as he’s writing all of them. Ran see his brothers irritability but leaves him alone for a while, until he can’t get over the annoyed yelling.
“Okay what’s wrong?” Ran asked leaning on the door frame, “Nothing.” Rindou’s irritability was visible even more in his voice. Ran looked around the room at crumpled papers and smirked while picking one up.
“Dear y/n, I know I’m not the best at expressing myself but I’m truly in love with you-”
“STOP IN RAN!!!” Rindou screamed at brother like a toddler asking for a cookie. Rindou’s face had furrowed brows but his scarlet cheeks told another story. “My little brother is writing a love letter~” Rindou looked away, “Shut up, I’m trying my best.” Ran sighed with a smile while crouching down next to his brother. “Your big brother is to the rescue. We’ll write the best love letter ever.” Rindou shook him away, “I don’t need your help Ran. Besides I’m not gonna even wrote it anymore I’m done.” Ran shrugged while walking out his room, “Well, a bit of advice still, just write what you want her to know, how you actually feel. Goodnight~”
The next morning Rindou shoved his school supplies and folders into his bag once more and ran to school. He was sleep deprived from all the writing he had done. Only in the end deciding not to even give it to her. He got to school eventually and eased into the day.
Today I got to school early. Unlike most days. I walked into the classroom sitting in my assigned seat. Looking beside me towards the window where Rindou Haitani usually sat earlier than me. I was a bit relieved he wasn’t here today. Though, yes he was easy on eyes, every single day and second he seemed to want to murder me.
He would ask if my clothing was new with such a bored face as if he were judging me for my choice. Or I would change my hair style for a hair and I’d watch him stare into my heart and soul the whole day. Sometimes when I’m laughing with friends, later in the day they’d tell he was glaring daggers at them too. It always seemed like no matter what I did it didn’t impress him. It didn’t bother me at first but now I just wonder why he hates me.
That’s when he walked in. Messy hair and wide eyes. It’s the most expression I’ve ever seen him have. I looked down to hide my face. I admit, my feelings towards him were…complicated. The reason I wondered he hated me was because I felt anything but hate towards him. When he wasn’t looking at me, he seemed so peaceful. On my way home I’d see him laughing with his brother and being a normal guy. Though he was a delinquent he still was charming. Yet he hates me.
I was pulled out of my thinking at a second loud voice. Ran Haitani. Huh? He wasn’t in this class. The first Haitani brother, well I see him as second, was never here. So it’s odd for him to be loudly yelling to his younger brother. “Aye Rindou!! I think you accidentally packed something of mine. Can I check?” Rindou looked over to him and sighed, “Whatever.” Ran’s smile seemed to lighten.
He rummaged through Rin’s backpack. Finally pulling out a sheet of paper. It seemed to be folded and messy. Ran yelled a quiet ‘yah’ and unfolded it. He looked over at me and since I was already staring at him we made eye contact. “Y/n! This is for you!” Rindou looked up at what he was holding and as I went to reach it Rindou grabbed it.
“Stop it! Don’t fucking touch things that aren’t yours.” I pulled my hand back at his harsh tone. Ran frowned, “Stop being a pussy Rin, just give it up-” Rin held the paper tighter. “It’s none of your business Ran leave me alone. And you,” he pointed towards me, “Dont listen to him he’s an annoying fuck who doesn’t know anything.” I felt awkward especially with the disgust in his eyes. At least it always felt like disgust when he stared at me. Ran grabbed the paper again but Rin struggled leaving Ran pushing Rindou against the open window.
Ran stared Rindou hard in the eyes, “I won’t let go of this.”
“I know”
“I wish push you out this window if you really want it to not be seen.”
Rindou felt his heart race is frustration, “Do it. I won’t change my mind.” And not to Rindou’s surprise. He actually did. The few students rushed to window, we were only on the second story, but it was still sure to hurt. I, too, rushed to the window. And I saw Rindou’s face as he stared up at us while laying in the bushes. I laughed as he mouthed a ‘fuck you’ to his brother. Who simply laughed and flipped him off.
I hurried down to him, even if he rejected me now, or looked at me with disgusted eyes, or if cussed me out. I’d go to him this time with no regrets. So as I rushed down to my luck I still see him there. Now he’s sitting upright brushing leaves off him with a pained expression. I walk over to him crouching down. He looked up at me with the same cold eyes. I smiled at him offering a hand.
“Hey. You okay?” He stood up gripping my hand softly, “Yeah sorry about earlier, Ran can be a lot.” I nodded it became silent between us I stared down. We still held hands. He was about to let go but I pulled harder, “Wait! I have to tell you something.” His eyes peeked in interest. “Yes?” I let go of his hand and held my own. Breathing in I finally said, “I know you aren’t quite fond of me but I hope you at least get to know me better because I like you. I think if you get to know me better it’ll be easier to like me right? I mean I understand if you like someone else or even if you’re dating someone then sorry! But I can’t keep this in forever-” I stopped talking at his bubbly laughter
“You sure do talk a lot, yeah?” I laughed a little too at that. I stopped when I felt him reach to intertwine our fingers. “Yeah, I guess you’re okay or whatever.” I looked up at him and smiled, “Thats cool or whatever.” I say mocking him. He smiled wider and looked towards the school door. “I guess we should be getting to class right now, come on let’s go.” I followed with our hands still intertwined. The paper in his other hand.
“What is that by the way?” Rindou’s face went red, “haha nothing…” I nodded and put aside my curiosity. He looked down at me and we made eye contact, “Let’s go when thing straight though, I definitely don’t like you.” I rolled my eyes, “Yeah okay Rindou, you definitely don’t like me.”
But you both knew. He definitely did like you.
Bonus:
“Y/n did he give you the letter!” Ran yelled excitingly towards me. I stared at him in confusion. “What?”
“I saw you two walking while holding hands so he gave the letter right?” I shook my head, “No, I was the one that confessed. I didn’t even know he had a letter.” Ran smirked with mischief. “I thought that might happen so i saved an old copy.” He gave me a wink and handed me the letter.
I read the letter which read,
“Dear Y/n,
I’ve liked you for a while now. No, loved you. I hope that doesn’t sound to bold but it’s the truth. I wish you could see the way I stare at you with so much love, but apparently most people don’t see it as love but more of disgust or ill intent. Still, it is love. I’ve always been afraid to admit it to you because I don’t want you to reject me. Now I hope you can really tell my true feelings. I want to hold your hands and kiss your face and have you in many vulnerable ways. Is this to straightforward? Ah I don’t know, it’s hard to write this and as I am I’m very confused. I hope one day you’ll just be able to see how much I love you. With my touch and stares. So please accept my confession.
Sincerely,
Rindou Haitani”
I smiled with my eyes a bit watery at how cheesy it was. “Wow Ran. We gotta make fun of him for this forever yeah?” Ran laughed loud. “oh I definitely like you!”
I think we’ll all get along fine. Oh and I was definitely gonna tease Rin.

summary; Jeon Jungkook is an infamous hitman, known for his inability to fail at whatever job is thrown his way. At least, up until now. Y/n, a kind-hearted and full of life teacher, is his newest target. Jeon isn’t sure who would put a hit on this seemingly innocent girl, but fortunately, that isn’t his problem. All he has to do is pull the trigger.

Jungkook likes you?
The events of today won't stop going around in circles in your head.
You clutch the giant octopus stuffie close to your chest, your legs wrapping around it. Your face is a bright red as you try to calm your breathing.
The more you think about it, the faster your heart races.
You need to calm down.
Mina was mistaken.
Yes, that's all it was.
Mina is always trying to tell you that guys like you, but they never actually have.
She was always trying to boost your self-confidence.
That thought makes you frown.
You don't need or want the approval of a man to boost your self-worth and confidence.
You hug the octopus even tighter as your brows furrow in thought.
A sigh leaves your lips as your heavy eyelids start to close slowly, sleep creeping up on you. You blink your eyes open again. For some reason, you don't want to fall asleep.
A few minutes later, no matter how hard you try to fight it, you inevitably fall asleep, your lips set into a small frown as the worries in your mind find their way into your dreams.

"So, why weren't you able to kill her yet?"
Tae asks in disbelief as he sits on the couch, watching Jungkook pretend to read his book. Jungkook bites his lip but ignores Tae's question as he flips the page and gets more comfortable on his bed.
Tae glowers at his friend, "I really thought you had a good reason somewhere in that minuscule brain of yours. Apparently, you just have a death wish."
"Can you please be quiet? I'm reading."
"As fucking if you're actually reading!" Taehyung exclaims in exasperation, "Answer me. Why haven't you finished your hit yet?"
"You know why," Jungkook mumbles, his face still in his book.
Taehyung scoffs and leans back, crossing one leg over the other, "Enlighten me."
Jungkook looks at him from over his book, "I already told you why."
"Uhm, no you didn't."
"Yes, I did!" Jungkook exclaims, "I told you I need to know why she's a target!"
"But why??"
"I don't know!"
Taehyung looks at Jungkook like he's got two heads, making the younger squirm under his gaze.
"So, let me get this straight," Tae coughs and points at Jungkook for emphasis, "You, an infamous hitman that has never failed a hit since he was fifteen years old, is hesitating because one stupid little bitch is confusing you-"
"She's not a stupid bitch."
Tae looks at Jungkook in surprise when he comes to the target's defense. He chuckles darkly, "You did not just interrupt me and defend your target at the same time. I know you didn't."
Jungkook swallows thickly, surprised at his own words. But, he can't back out now. So, he clears his throat and sets his book down, "Just because she's a target doesn't mean you can call her a stupid bitch."
"Look," Tae says while he rubs his temples as if Jungkook is giving him a headache by just existing, "If it was that hot Mina girl we were talking about, sure, I'd cut you some slack. But _____? Really? What about her makes you hesitate?"
"I don't know," Jungkook chokes out.
Tae's eyes squint as he watches Jungkook closely, "You make no sense. Your life is on the line, JK. Get the hit done...please."
Jungkook lies down, turning so that Tae can't see his face, "I'm going to get it done."
_____________________
The next morning, you're woken up by a loud knocking sound.
You sit up and rub your eyes, blinking in confusion as you look around your room.
The knocking sounds again and you realize it's coming from outside your room.
"Huh?"
You stumble out of bed, grabbing your starfish plushie and plodding your way to the front door. You open it without looking out the peephole, assuming it would be Mina.
When you see Jungkook standing there, your heart leaps to your throat.
The second the door opens and Jungkook sees you, he feels his heart pinch in his chest. Your hair is a mess, in your face and sticking out every which way. You're still in your pajamas if the long tattered t-shirt that goes to your knees is anything to go by. At first, your eyes were squinty as you looked him up and down, then they widen when you realize it's him.
You let out a tiny gasp and clutch the starfish plushie you're holding to your chest.
Jungkook swallows thickly, "Uhm, hi. I'm sorry, did I wake you up?"
You shake your head, unable to form any words.
Jungkook's face relaxes and he lets out a little laugh, "Ok, good. I wanted to take you somewhere today if you want to?"
You stare at him for a second, Mina's words replaying in your head.
Jungkook starts to shift his weight, wondering why you're just staring at him and not saying anything. He's just about to take back what he said and say he'll come back another day, but then you nod, "Uh, y-yes. I'd l-like that."
"Ah, cool," Jungkook sighs in relief, "Well, I'll let you get dressed. I'll be downstairs when you're ready."
You nod, willing your cheeks not to turn red as you close the door and lean your back against it for a moment.
Once your brain catches up with the rest of you, you head to your room to get dressed. You grab a short white skirt from your closet and pull it on quickly, then you snatch a baby blue sweater and put it on.
After pulling on a pair of white socks, you're about to run out to put on your shoes when Mina's words pass through your brain when you see the make-up on your bathroom counter.
"Jungkook would fall head over heels for you if you did."
"Boys like it when girls try to get fancy for them."
You pout at the make-up for a second, trying to decide if you want to put it on or not. You eventually settle for grabbing the hairbrush and running it through your hair a few times before pulling it into a high ponytail and leaving the make-up where it is.
You smile at your reflection and turn to hurry and get your shoes.
-
Jungkook looks at a text from Taehyung as he waits for you downstairs.
I hope you're getting it done.
He sighs and puts the phone back in his pocket, then he looks up when he hears the sound of someone coming down the stairs.
You're running down the steps, your hair bouncing up and down and the smile on your lips lighting up your whole face.
Jungkook swallows thickly when you stop in front of him, a small giggle leaving your mouth at the distant look on his face.
She remembered to brush her hair today...
That's the only thought that Jungkook can process at the moment.
Then he notices that you have small dark circles under your eyes, causing him to frown. But he covers it up a second later and gestures towards the black car in the parking lot.
"Oh!" You exclaim when you realize he's going to drive you somewhere, "Where a-are we g-going?"
"It's a surprise," Jungkook mumbles, then he turns and heads for the car.
You go to the passenger's side and climb in, buckling up as Jungkook starts the car.
"I d-didn't know you h-had a car," You say with a laugh as Jungkook pulls out of the parking spot.
He sends you a tightlipped smile, "There's a lot you don't know about me."
That makes you curious.
You turn to him, "Ok, w-what's your favorite c-color?"
"What?"
"Your f-favorite color."
"Uh, why?" Jungkook asks uncertainly.
You look out the front window, "I d-don't know. I always a-ask people that."
"Is it that important?"
"It is t-to me."
"Ah, ok well...I guess my favorite color is red," Jungkook says, keeping his eyes on the road even though he has a sudden urge to turn and look at you, "What about you?"
"I l-love yellow."
Jungkook finds himself smiling softly, then he wipes the smile from his face and clears his throat, "And why is that?"
"I d-don't know. It just m-makes me happy," You say dreamily, looking out the passenger window now, your chin in your hand, "Why d-do you like r-red?"
"I'm not sure. I guess I associate the color with passion and doing the things you love," Jungkook muses as he takes a right turn.
You turn and look at him, watching him closely for a minute before you whisper, "And? A-Are you doing w-what you love?"
Jungkook swallows and glances at you before fixing his eyes on the road again, "No, no I'm not."
You're about to ask him why, but the look on his face makes you hesitate. He looks upset, so you decide to leave it at that.
"Ok, w-what's your f-favorite food?" You ask instead.
That gets a laugh out of Jungkook as he gets into the left lane, turning onto the highway.
"I feel like you're interrogating me," He chuckles.
You laugh, a sound that makes Jungkook's chest feel warm.
"W-Well? Do you h-have a favorite?"
Jungkook smiles and shakes his head, "You're not gonna stop until you know all about me, are you?"
You send him a toothy grin and shake your head, "N-Nope!"
Jungkook sighs, "Well, I don't have a favorite. Honestly, I like anything with flour in it. I like pizza, noodles, churros."
You laugh and Jungkook finds himself fighting another smile, "Ok, well what about you, ___?"
You shrug, causing Jungkook to protest.
"Nuh uh! You have to answer the questions too, missy. You can't just ask me and not have to say anything yourself!"
You laugh again, reaching a hand up to cover your mouth, "But I d-don't have a f-favorite."
"Well, do you like salty, spicy, or sweet the most?" Jungkook insists.
"Sweet!" You shout, making his chest tight with an emotion he doesn't understand as he laughs, "Well, ok then."
A few minutes later, Jungkook pulls into a parking lot where there are a lot of cars.
You hop out of the car and look around in confusion, "W-Where are we?"
"The train station," Jungkook says simply, "We need to take a train to get there."
"Ohh, w-wow," You whisper in awe as you follow Jungkook inside the station, "I've n-never been on a t-train before."
"Really?" Jungkook looks at you in surprise.
You nod, "Mmhm."
You continue to follow behind Jungkook as he moves through the station.
He goes up to a little window and purchases two tickets, then he turns to you, "Our train leaves in ten minutes, we need to hurry."
Jungkook turns and starts walking briskly through the crowds of people, making you almost have to jog to keep up with him.
"J-Jungkook, w-wait up!"
But it's so loud in the station that he doesn't hear you. He's almost out of your sight.
The amount of people crowding around is making your heart beat faster as you start to hyperventilate.
You can't see Jungkook anymore. He's gone. He's gone. He's left you all alone.
"J-Jungkook?" You shout, getting a few judging looks from the people around you.
You turn in a circle, now completely lost.
You don't even know where the entrance is anymore, let alone where your train is.
You're about to start crying when someone touches your arm.
"Hey, sweetie. You all right?"
You turn to see a young man that looks to be about your age smiling down at you. Your heart slows down considerably to see a friendly face, even though you've never met him in your life.
"I'm l-lost," You say with a shaky voice.
The man nods sympathetically, "I could tell. What train are you supposed to be on?"
"I'm n-not sure, m-my friend has th-the tickets."
"Ah, I see. And where did your friend go?" He asks kindly.
"I d-don't know. I lost h-him."
The young man nods again, "Well, I'll help you find him. Come with me," Then he takes your arm gently and leads you through the crowd of people.
"Oh, th-thank you," You say shyly, relieved someone has offered to help you.
"It isn't a problem at all, hun."
When the man leads you to a train with people getting on, you look around in confusion.
Where is Jungkook?
"Uhm," You aren't sure what to say to the man as he starts pulling you towards the open doors of the train.
"I'm sure he's on this train," The stranger says when he sees you hesitating.
There's something in your tummy telling you not to follow him, but he's been so kind...
You decide to look for Jungkook yourself, so you try to pull away from the man, but he holds onto your arm tighter.
"E-Excuse me, I'm just g-going to go this w-way," You tell him with a smile as you point in a different direction.
"No, I'm sure he's on this train-"
"It's o-okay, th-thank you-"
"Look, sweetie. You need to trust me."
"Uhm, p-please don't c-call me that," You try to pull away from him again.
The man holds on tighter and a desperate look comes over his face, "Please, ____. Listen to me-"
"H-How do you know m-my name?" Alarm bells go off in your head as you try once more to pull away from him.
The man lets go of your arm to grab both your shoulders and shake you a little, "He's leading you away. He's going to ki-"
"____?"
You both turn to see Jungkook heading towards you.
You step away from the stranger just as he pulls away from you and runs in a different direction.
Jungkook walks up to you, his brows furrowed, "____, where on earth were you? And who was that guy?"
"I g-got lost. That man s-said he would h-help me," You say tearfully, moving so that you're next to Jungkook.
Jungkook sighs, "You can't just trust anyone ____."
He takes your shoulders and gently turns you to look him straight in the eyes, "Promise me you won't trust anyone. No one."
Your brows furrow but you nod anyway, "Ok, I p-promise."
"Good, now we have to go, our train leaves in two minutes."
Jungkook turns to hurry to your train, but stops in his tracks when he feels a small hand grasp his.
He turns to see you holding onto his hand, your huge eyes looking up at him.
"What are you doing?" He asks, his voice shaking a little.
"I'm s-scared to g-get lost again," You whisper.
Jungkook swallows thickly, then you feel him squeeze your hand and hold it tightly as he pulls you through the station to the train that's just about to depart.
-
You and Jungkook don't talk much during the ride, Jungkook mostly looking out the window and fiddling with his fingers, occasionally looking at his phone, only to roll his eyes and put it back in his pocket.
You keep thinking about what that strange man said.
"He's leading you away. He's going to ki-"
Who? Who was leading you away?
Jungkook?
You look over at him, watching as he looks out at the trees flying past the windows.
Then you shake your head, Jungkook wouldn't ever do anything bad to you.
An hour later, the train stops and after the location is announced through the speakers, Jungkook stands up and forces a smile onto his face.
"We're here."
You get up and follow him off the train, squinting in the sunlight.
Jungkook leads you out of the station and hails a taxi.
He says something to the driver that you don't hear, then he opens the back door for you and you climb in.
Jungkook slides in next to you.
"W-Where are we g-going?" You ask quietly, still feeling a bit awkward after the train ride.
"You'll see," Jungkook says, and that's all you get.
Fifteen minutes later, the taxi driver pulls over and Jungkook thanks him as he opens the door and climbs out. You step out of the taxi and gasp when you see the ocean sparkling in the sunlight.
"Oh," You breathe, shutting the car door behind you.
You follow Jungkook over to a little area where there is sand and rocks.
Then you break into a run, making your way to the water.
Jungkook watches as you start taking off your chunky tennis shoes and pulling off your socks. You tuck your socks into your shoes and go straight for the waves coming up on the sand.
The second the cold water touches your toes, you squeal and jump back, laughing and turning to Jungkook.
"It's c-cold!" You shriek in delight.
Jungkook walks up to the edge of the waves, not making a move to remove his shoes, so you pout at him and point at his feet, "Take off y-your shoes, s-silly!"
Jungkook shakes his head, "No, thanks."
You shrug, then you turn and run into the water until it's up to your knees, then you shriek again and run back, laughing your head off.
Jungkook purses his lips as he watches you run in and out of the water.
Then he calls out to you when you run out of the water for the hundredth time, "You act like you've never seen water before!"
You smile at him, "I n-never been to the o-ocean!"
After an hour has passed and you're tired of playing in the water, you walk up to Jungkook, who's sitting on a big rock.
"Where a-are all the p-people?" You ask curiously.
Jungkook flips his hair back with his hand and looks at you, "This is a more secluded spot. People prefer to be where there aren't many rocks and stuff."
"Oh."
"Yeah," Jungkook looks out at the water, "Are you having fun?"
A smile breaks out on your face and you nod happily, "Y-Yes! Thank y-you for taking m-me here."
"Of course."
A moment of silence passes, then Jungkook looks over at you, "Can I show you something?"
"S-Sure."
Jungkook leads you over to a bunch of rocks that lead up to a cliff.
He starts to climb them and you feel your stomach flip over with anxiety.
Jungkook turns to look at you when he senses that you're not behind him.
"What's wrong?" He asks.
"I'm s-scared of h-heights," You say in embarrassment.
Jungkook laughs, making you pout.
He stops laughing and climbs down to stand next to you, "It really isn't that high or steep, ____. I'll help you, come on," He holds his hand out to you and you take it cautiously.
Jungkook starts going up the rocks again, keeping your hand in his, which causes your cheeks to burst into flames.
Jungkook himself is fighting the weird feeling in his chest when he feels your sweaty hand holding tightly to his own.
"We're almost there."
A minute later, you've made it to the top.
A few feet away to the right, there's a drop-off that's much higher than where you just climbed up, a straight drop down to the ocean below.
Behind you is a bunch of grass and a pathway leading down the hill to where you just were.
"H-Hey!" You exclaim when you realize something, "We d-didn't have t-to climb that!" You point at the path and Jungkook shrugs while chuckling.
"Don't even say you didn't enjoy it. It was exciting!"
You roll your eyes playfully and walk over to the edge to look over, watching the waves crash around.
"Careful," Jungkook warns, "Don't fall."
"I w-won't," You step back and walk over to sit on the ground next to where Jungkook is standing.
You pat the ground next to you and Jungkook takes a seat.
You two sit there for a long time, just enjoying the scenery.
"Let's c-continue," You eventually say, making Jungkook laugh.
"Continue what?"
You look at him seriously, "W-What is your favorite a-animal?"
Jungkook gives you a half smile and turns to look out across the ocean.
"Uhm, I'm not sure."
You sit there in silence for a minute, then Jungkook lays back on the grass and sighs, "Bunnies are pretty cute."
"Th-That's my f-favorite!" You exclaim.
Jungkook looks over at you as you lie down next to him, "Really?"
"Y-Yeah!"
"Weird."
"W-Well, now y-you have to a-ask me a q-question."
Jungkook looks at the clouds, his mind racing.
"What's the worst thing you've ever done?"
You look over at him to see if he's serious, and see that he looks over at you at the same time, his face far from joking.
"Uhm, one t-time I didn't t-take my medicine for a f-few days...I l-lied to the doctor th-that I took it."
Jungkook looks at you, his brows furrowed.
"That's it? That's the worst thing you've ever done?"
You turn to look at the clouds and think as hard as you can, "Oh, o-one time I accidentally th-threw out a p-picture that one of m-my students d-drew for me."
Jungkook sees a little tear slip down your cheek at your words. He stares at you in disbelief.
"And o-once I didn't listen to m-my mom wh-when she told me to take our d-dog out p-potty. He peed on th-the floor."
"Seriously?" Jungkook asks as he sits up on one elbow.
"I know, I'm h-horrible," You say as you wipe the tears from your cheek and eyes.
Jungkook bites back a laugh, "You're not horrible."
"What a-about you? What's th-the worst thing y-you've ever done?"
Jungkook bites his lip and lays back down, "I'm an angel, I've never done wrong."
"L-Liar," You pout, crossing your arms.
"What do you think is the worst thing I've ever done?" He asks you seriously.
You put a finger to your chin, "Hmm, l-let me think."
A minute later, you speak up again, "I th-think you've p-peer pressured someone t-to do something. But y-you regretted it l-later."
Jungkook looks at you with wide eyes, then he swallows thickly and turns away again, "You're wrong."
Except you weren't.
Jungkook isn't going to tell you that though.
You can get his favorite color and food and animal out of him, but you'll never know him for who he really is.
"Then, w-what is it?"
"Never mind, it was a stupid question. You ask one now."
"Ok...what d-do you love?"
The silence that follows is deafening.
Then a loud ringing sounds and you both jump.
Jungkook grabs his phone out of his pocket and sighs when he sees Taehyung's name across the screen.
"Sorry, I have to answer this."
"Go ah-head."
Jungkook stands up and moves to the side before answering it, "What do you want?" He growls into the phone.
"Did you do it?"
"I fucking swear, Taehyung. If you don't shut the fuck up and let me do my job I'm going to kill you next," Jungkook whispers fiercely.
"Whatever. Just get it done."
Before Jungkook can curse him out some more, Tae hangs up, making Jungkook growl again in annoyance.
Then Jungkook turns to see you standing by the edge, looking out over the water.
He swallows the lump in his throat, Tae's voice finding it's way to his mind as it whispers, Just do it, push her off...
Quick and easy.
He walks over, his hands out and ready to get this hit over with.
He notices his hands shaking uncontrollably.
Then he decides against it and reaches into the back of his pants, pulling out a small gun.
One shot and you're done, Jungkook.
You're done.
"J-Jungkook..."
He hides the gun behind his back, but you don't even turn around. You just keep looking out at the water, your arms crossed over your chest.
"I h-hope one day, th-that you f-find what you love. I hope y-you can do wh-what you love," You turn and smile at him softly, your hair blowing in the gentle wind as you whisper, "I hope you c-can live for w-what you love."
Jungkook sucks in a breath as the image of a woman appears next to you at your words.
"Live for me and do what you love, please. Whatever happens, Jungkook, don't let them change you..."
Jungkook's lip trembles at the woman's words, the ones he could never hear before.
"Don't let them ruin you."
You watch Jungkook as he seems to have some kind of internal struggle, then he walks close to the edge and throws something as far as he can as a broken scream leaves his throat.
All you see is a small black object fall into the ocean.
When you turn to Jungkook, he's on his knees, his head hanging as he breathes shakily.
You say nothing.
After a minute, Jungkook looks up at you, and you feel your heart break at the agony in his eyes, "____," He whispers.
"Y-Yes?"
"I'm sorry."

“Omg! Where's my shower cap?” you screamed, frantically tossing out all the clothes you carefully packed the night before from your suitcase. “This can't be happening,” you promptly pulled open the drawers from your nearly empty dresser and began flinging everything onto the chair beside you. Not like you’d be able to find what you were looking for under the mess you just created. “I just spent $350 on this brazilian body wave, I need that shower cap!”
“It's on top of that big ass head,” the smug idiot you sometimes referred to as Eren, gestured to the pink sequined article that he bought for you on your last trip to the beauty supply. He was leaning forward in his chair, sweatpants hanging low, hair in a messy bun, dreary green eyes laser focused on the game he was playing with Jean and Armin. “Fuck,” he cursed, “Yo, Imma need some back up,” he shouted into his headset.
You slowly turned around to face the mirror on your disheveled vanity, Wow, not one of your strongest moments, you thought, gingerly, removing the shower cap. Your long curls cascaded down your shoulders, what usually were bright and dolled up eyes were now rimmed with day old eye liner and lashes that were threatening to pop off. You had to admit, you did look a little rough at the moment, but even now you still remain the baddest bitch in the city, and that's on periodt.
“Okay, where's my switch then?” you sighed, and tossed the showercap into the suitcase, rearranging all of the clothes back into it again, “You know, the pink bedazzled one?”
“Carry-on,” he responded, motioning to the backpack in front of the door, “Why are you acting like such a bimbo today?”
Pause, did this boy just try me? “Why are you acting like such a-,” you hesitated, trying to come up with a good comeback.
“Exactly,” you could practically see the smirk that you heard in his deep voice.
A couple years ago, you would have never expected you’d be dating this jerk. He was the star player in your school's basketball team, a literal god on the court, and you were just his tutor to get his grades up so he could stay on said team. But you know, one thing led to another and here you were, still dealing with his trifling ass. You grabbed the carry on and tossed all of your luggage in one place.
“You know what, I'm gonna pack my vibrator.” “What?” Eren pulled back one side of his headphones to free his ear, his brows furrowed.
“What?”
“You tripping,” Eren just rolled his eyes and went back to playing on your brother's PS5, the sounds of aggressive clicking of the controller echoed through the room.
“Nah, you’re tripping if you think you’re getting any action on this trip,” you glanced around the room one last time to double check if anything was left unpacked, “not with the way you’ve been talking to me lately.”
“Babygirl, stop playing, you know you can't resist this,” Eren tossed his headset and controller on to your bed, apparently done with his match. He stood up, towering at an alarming 6’2 above you, he leaned down, inches from your face, the chain that his father gave to him as a parting gift brushing against your skin. “I'm sorry,” he whispered, flashing that handsome grin of his, “let me make it up to you.”
You took in a deep breath, taking in the scent that was Eren, a combination of mint, mahogany, and was that weed? You slowly slid your hands down his chest to rest upon his toned hard abs, admiring the start of the v line that was poking out. This man could never keep a shirt on, but you weren’t complaining, “No,” you poked his waist, ignoring what was growing in his sweatpants, “we got a flight to catch.”
Ever since Eren invited you on a trip to visit his home country, Paradis, things have been pretty crazy, to say the least. You guys have been dating for a cute year and a half and he wanted to show you a different side of him.
“I can make it quick.”
“Don't you always,” you laugh, slapping his arm.
He catches it and you find yourself pinned against the wall, your back against his chest. You could feel his hard on pressing against your leggings, his face leaned into the crook of your neck, “Do you feel that?” You shivered at the feeling of his warm breath on your neck. Two large hands gripped the sides of your hips, beckoning for you to move.
“Boy, stop!” you giggled, unintentionally curling into him, no but seriously, he's about to make me act up. You hated how you couldn’t stand to be mad at him for too long. You let out a shaky breath at the tingly sensation that was starting to pool up in your stomach, flashbacks from previous hookups whirred through your mind like a broken cassette tape.
“Hey! What’s taking yall so long?” a familiar voice shouted from outside your bedroom door, “We were supposed to leave hours ago!”
“And YOU weren’t even supposed to come!” You fired back. And he really wasn’t supposed to join. No one in your family was supposed to come. But your dad demanded it, if Eren still wanted to be with you. It took some convincing, but Eren finally caved into letting you bring your family, and you use the term "caved" very loosely.
“You think Imma letchu go to some foreign country with this hooligan actin’ fool!”
“Dad, they probably fucking,” another voice added, “And did you know Eren doesn’t like to wear condoms. Ah shit, I’m probably gonna be an uncle.”
You sighed, suppressing the urge to snap at your dad and annoying ass brother for Eren’s sake.
“Fuckin’?” You heard your dad gasp, “Oh hell nah, open this muthafuckin’ door right now!”
How the hell were you going to spend a whole two weeks with these idiots, you groaned at the thought.
“Your dad has no chill,” Eren laughed as he reluctantly dropped your arm allowing you to turn around to face him.
“I am so sorry,” you whisper, listening for the sounds of your father’s footsteps walking away. You gently brush away the stray wisps of hair from his messy bun out of his long lashes before giving him a quick peck on the cheek.
“So…” he paused, securing an arm around your waist, there's a mischievous glint in his eyes. You couldn’t help but notice his gaze travelling from your face, to your chest, down to your thighs.
“So…” you repeated, bashful eyes of yours met his.
“Wanna try road head?”

Actions Have Consequences
Professor AU! Heisenberg x Gender Neutral! AFAB! Reader
Part three of my series

Tags: Punishment, misuse of rulers, praise, on top of a desk, minor overstimulation, minor orgasm denial
Summary: Y/n ends up getting punished for some avoidable mistakes. But, it may or may not end up working out in the end.
During class, Y/n’s mind kept going back to what Mr. Heisenberg had said about “disciplinary actions” and having to work on Y/n’s “listening skills.” If they were honest, y/n was a little nervous. Heisenberg was known for being harsh on students who didn’t follow the rules or do their work properly. Getting yelled at by him was not something you admitted to freely. But, with how their relationship was working out, y/n realized that their “punishment” may end up being a bit different.
Thinking on their relationship over the past little while had y/n thinking about a lot of stuff. Ever since that first time together, almost two weeks ago, they almost always ended up having sex after class. Not that y/n minded, of course. But was that all there was between them? What would happen when classes were done for the year? Y/n graduated this year, too, so then what? The thought of never getting to spend time with Mr. Heisenberg like that made y/n’s heart sink harder than they realized. They enjoyed Professor Heisenberg’s company and it was becoming obvious they wanted more out of the relationship. But they doubted it would go over well if they brought this up with him. Y/n doubted that Mr. Heisenberg would want to commit himself to such a relationship with a student. The pain in y/n’s gut deepened at this thought, a lump catching in their throat as they felt like wanting to cry. Y/n quickly shook their head of the thought, coming back to reality.
Apparently, the class was meant to take some notes on whatever Mr. Heisenberg had presented but, just as y/n came to, it was over, and they hadn’t written down a single thing. Chances were Mr. Heisenberg most likely noticed at some point but didn’t say anything.
“Alright, now that we’ve gotten through that,” He exclaimed, grabbed his things from the desk. “Let’s head to the shop and work on those practical assignments. Maybe get them done today, yeah?” Y/n groaned as they began packing their things, noticing that there was still a whole 50 minutes left of class. 2pm simply could not come fast enough. They soon followed Mr. Heisenberg out the door and down to the lab, almost wanting to walk beside him but deciding against so as to not draw too much attention to themselves. Mr. Heisenberg was wearing a black t-shirt today, but like always, it was just a bit too tight on him. Y/n saw, just at the base of Heisenberg’s neck were some faint red marks. Squinting a bit to get a closer look, y/n soon realized that they had left those marks a couple days ago. They blushed furiously at this thought, wondering how many of the others might have noticed those marks at any point and if anyone had asked about them.
“Hey, y/n!” One of the other students, Leon, called out. He was one of the better students in the class and was nice enough. His voice startled y/n out of their staring at Mr. Heisenberg. He and Y/n had been working together on the current assignment. “Do anything fun last night?” Y/n had to suppress a small noise at this question, a small blush forming on their face. ‘yeah, totally! I got railed by Professor Heisenberg in the shop after class!’ they thought to themselves.
“Uh, no,” They laughed awkwardly, rubbing their neck. Leon’s face sank a bit at this. “Not really. I just went home and did some studying.” Leon just nodded. “I don’t go out much. And of course, by the time I get home and finish any work, I’m just too tired to really do anything.”
“Yeah, that’s fair.” Leon agreed. He then glanced at Professor Heisenberg for a bit before smirking. “Ya know, whoever left those scratch marks on his neck there,” He whispered to y/n making them blush deeply. “They’re one lucky fuckin bitch.”
“Well, I’ll be sure to let them know, Leon.” Heisenberg smirked, making Leon let out a squeak of embarrassment. Y/n did their best to stifle their laughter as Heisenberg unlocked the doors to the shop, letting everyone else enter.
“Well,” Leon exclaimed. “I can never look our Prof in the eye ever again!” y/n chuckled at this before blushing a bit more. ‘If only you knew,’ they thought. ‘If only you fucking knew.’
“Yo, Sir!!” Another student exclaimed. “Whose car is that?!!” Y/n furrowed their brow before noticing the Cadillac at the back of the shop. ‘funny, wonder who’s that is. It kinda looks like- OH NO!’ y/n’s brows shot up and their eyes widened. That was Professor Heisenberg Series 62, uncovered meaning y/n had forgot to cover it the night before like they were supposed to. ‘shitshitshit’ They looked over to Mr. Heisenberg, who had also gone wide eyed at the sight. ‘Now I’m really in for it after class.’ Heisenberg shot them a hard glare, signaling his disappointment at the scene. However, he quickly masked it before turning to the student who had noticed it.
“Ah, that beauty?” Heisenberg sighed. “She’s all mine! Brought her to get her working again. Didn’t have the equipment needed back home.” Professor Heisenberg explained. “Bitch needed a whole new engine, practically.” Y/n could feel the jealousy building with each word. Heisenberg looked at them and must’ve noticed as his expression softened a little. Y/n then watched a number of students rush over. ‘They’re gonna ruin the paint!’ Now y/n was angry. Not just with their classmates but with themselves for not putting the cover back on.
“Uh sir,” A female student piped up. “There’s a dent in the hood…” y/n’s eyes went wide. They knew exactly what that dent was from. Seeing Heisenberg’s face showed that he also realized what it was from.
“I must’ve been so busy repairing the engine, I must not have fucking noticed!” He laughed nervously. Y/n watched as Heisenberg blushed at this, their own blush forming as they tried not to laugh.
“Well, do you need any help with it, sir?” Leon asked.
“NO!” Heisenberg blurted out, rather fast and loud. Y/n let out a chuckle at this. “No, I’m close to being done. But you all could do better on your tests, I wouldn’t spend as much time having to mark them!” The class let out a collective groan, except for y/n. The pang of jealousy still sat heavy in their gut. And meeting Heisenberg’s gaze showed that they weren’t doing too well at hiding it. His stare was intense and dominating. Y/n lessened their pout a bit, but they were still upset with themselves over not covering the car and having everyone see it.
————————
“Alright see you Monday, everyone!” Mr. Heisenberg called out as everyone got up to leave. Y/n hung back, taking their time to clean up.
“Hey, y/n!” Leon called out, as he threw his bag over his shoulder. “I was meant to ask you if you wanted to hang out. A few of us are getting together at my place for the afternoon.” Y/n stammered a little, watching Professor Heisenberg pack up his own things. He glanced up, waiting for y/n’s answer. “I can give you a ride if you need. I know you walk to school and all so… It wouldn’t be any trouble.” As much as y/n knew they should socialize with their classmates, today was the absolute worst day to have been asked. They would’ve said yes but, they also didn’t want to be in anymore trouble with Mr. Heisenberg, no matter how enjoyable the punishment really would be.
“Uh, actually,” y/n started. “I’ve got another class today, so I’ll pass.” They looked back to Heisenberg to see him give another glance before continuing packing his things. Leon must’ve noticed this because he cocked a brow at y/n.
“I thought this was your last class,” He pondered.
“One of my other classes had to be moved to the afternoons recently.” Y/n lied. Leon’s expression neutralized at this, meaning he accepted it.
“Oh, okay. Maybe next time.” The other student shrugged. He then headed out of the class. Y/n let out a shaky breath before they turned back to their things and finished packing, hearing Mr. Heisenberg approach. They stiffened a bit but continued what they were doing.
“I’m disappointed, y/n,” he stated, coming to lean against y/n’s station. “First, you don’t listen before class. Then, I found out you didn’t cover the convertible?” Y/n hung their head in shame.
“I’m sorry, sir.” They replied, keeping their head bowed but peeking up at their professor. “I completely forgot to cover the car last night.” They heard Heisenberg scoff.
“You know I was going to wait until we got back to the classroom but after this, well, shit.” Heisenberg grabbed a hold of y/n’s chin, forcing them to look at him, smirking. “It looks like we’ll just have to settle things right. Fucking. Here.” Y/n gulped, slightly nervous about what was coming. “Get in my office. Now.” Heisenberg let go y/n’s face roughly and pointed to the office. “Go on.” With that, Y/n quickly headed to the small room, Professor Heisenberg close behind. “You’re normally such a good student, too. I’m shocked that you’d let yourself slip like this.”
“It won’t happen again, Mr. Heisenberg,” Y/n whined.
“Apologies aren’t gonna get you out of trouble that fucking easily, y/n.” Heisenberg growled as they entered the office. He made a show of slamming the office door shut and locking it. He also closed the blinds to the door but not the other windows. “So, we need to work on those listening skills of yours.”
“How?” Y/n asked sheepishly. Heisenberg just grinned as he took a seat in his office chair and began piling the rest of his papers together on the desk.
“Well, first, you’re gonna strip.” He ordered. Y/n made quick work of their clothes, watching Professor Heisenberg clear everything off the desk. They hadn’t noticed before, but the desk was metal, which meant the cold air from the AC in the shop had chilled it, even with everything on top of it. When Heisenberg finished, he turned to y/n and simply stared for a moment, taking in their naked body. Y/n shifted slightly, keeping eye contact with their professor. “Eager to please, as always.” Mr. Heisenberg chuckled. “Bend over the desk. Now. And pass me that ruler while you’re at it.” Y/n looked to the wooden ruler hanging next to the desk. Their eyes went wide when they realized what Heisenberg was planning on doing. Y/n simply passed the ruler to the professor and slowly leaned themselves over the desk. They winced a bit at the cold metal against their skin. However, the shiver that down their spine was not from the cold. Heisenberg chuckled at this, bringing a hand to their ass and began massaging it a bit. “You know what, hands behind your back. C’mon.” Y/n complied with haste. As they did this, Heisenberg’s hand left their ass. But before y/n could make any sound to protest, they heard the sound of Heisenberg undoing his belt. Turning to see just what he was doing, Y/n watched as Mr. Heisenberg stood up, took the ruler in his teeth, and used his belt to tie y/n’s wrists together. The leather of the belt bit into their skin just a bit, making y/n hiss a bit. They then looked up at Heisenberg to see him take hold of the ruler again, smirking. “You look so fucking nice like this, y/n! Now, I want to hear you count, got it?” Y/n nodded, gulping.
“Understood, sir!” Y/n blurted out. SMACK! “AHH! ONE!!” Y/n cried out, both in pleasure and pain. The force was brutal and sent them forward a bit, which made their nipples rub against the cold metal of the desk. This intensified the pool of arousal in their gut. SMACK! “TWO!!” Y/n sobbed.
“Ya know, maybe I should’ve let some of the other students help with the car,” Heisenberg mused, letting the ruler rest against the sore cheek. “Would’ve saved you some trouble.” He lifted the ruler up, waiting a bit.
“But sir-“ SMACK! SMACK! “AAAHH! THREEEEEFFFFOUR!” Y/n felt tears stinging their eyes. The arousal building up from this was growing fast. SMACK! “FIVE! Fuuuccckkk!” They heard Heisenberg laugh behind them. He then grabbed their tied hands and bent over them.
“Or would that have just pissed you off, kitten?” He growled in their ear. They whimpered as Professor Heisenberg pressed against their back, his hard cock rubbing up along their back. y/n let out a whine at the feeling. “All those students messing with your hard work, putting their fucking fingers all over the paint? I saw your face when everyone rushed over to it.” Heisenberg lifted himself back off of y/n, who groaned at the loss of contact. Suddenly, Heisenberg was rubbing the cheek slowly, as if trying to soothe the pain. “Ready to continue?” He asked, his voice somewhat gentle.
“Yes Mr-“ SMACK! “HEISENBERG!! FUCK, SIX!!” Now he was focusing on the left cheek. The tears that had welled in y/n’s eyes fell, finally as they lurched forward from the force of the hit. SMACK! “JESUS!! SE-“ SMACK! “-VENNNNEIGHT!!!” Y/n was full on crying, the pained pleasure causing the arousal in their gut to become a bit too much. Y/n felt themselves clench around nothing, their slick just soaking their folds and the insides of their thighs. SMACK! “NINE! FFFUUUCCKK MEEEEE!!!” Y/n sobbed, feeling themselves right on the edge of their orgasm.
“Oh?” Heisenberg purred, resting the ruler against their ass. “Is something wrong, Y/n?” Heisenberg knew exactly what was wrong. But watching y/n squirm and try to choke out an answer was too fun.
“Please sir, I’m so-“ SMACK!!! “CLLLOOSEEEFUCK!” Heisenberg slammed the ruler hard against both cheeks, with more force than the last ones. They screamed at this, so close to finishing and yet not close enough. It was almost torture. “TENNNNNNNN” Y/n sobbed, tears streaming down their face. They then heard the ruler be tossed to the side somewhere. Y/n then moved to push themselves off the desk as best they could when Mr. Heisenberg pushed their head back down. He then shoved his hand in between their legs, landing on y/n’s clit. “SIRRRRR” The screamed as he began to harshly rub the oversensitive bud. However, this only lasted a little bit, before Heisenberg pulled away. Y/n sobbed, merely wanting to come now.
“Shit, you really did enjoy that, huh?” Y/n could only whine in response “You did good, kitten.” He mused, untying their hands. “But we’re not done yet.” Y/n let out another whimper. “Sit up and face me.” Y/n then braced themselves and pushed up off the desk, their legs barely able to keep them upright. They then shifted themselves around to face Professor Heisenberg. As they went to sit, the cold metal against their raw cheeks stung fiercely. They shrieked at the feeling, which then turned in to a pained whimper. “Aww, is it cold against your bruised ass? Well, you’ll just have to endure it for a bit longer.” With that, Y/n watched as Professor Heisenberg began stripping, his pace slow. It was like he was putting on a show for y/n, who could only squirm against the cold desk. “Damn, what a fucking sight you are.” He growled as he slowly removed his shirt. “I’m still reeling from Leon’s comment earlier too.” He joked. Y/n blushed as they remembering what their classmate had noticed. “Part of me, a very evil part me, wanted to implicate that it wasn’t just anyone who left those marks.” Y/n whined, squirming more. “Bet that would’ve been quite the punishment on its own.” Heisenberg slipped off his boxers, stepping out of them and approaching y/n. “Oh, you know I would never do that to you, Kitten.” He purred, moving close to y/n, leaning over them to kiss them. His hand then made its way down to y/n’s pubic mound, his fingers slipping between their folds. Y/n moaned loudly at this, bracing themselves against Mr. Heisenberg as he began to run his fingers up and down their cunt, just missing their clit. They were extremely sensitive down there, as they had yet to come still. Heisenberg made quick work of their folds and clit, rubbing fiercely. “Come for me y/n.” With that, Y/n screamed out in pure pleasure, coming hard and drenching Heisenberg’s hand in their juices. Once they had started to come down, Heisenberg gently grabbed their waist and brought them both over to the chair taking a seat, placing y/n in his lap facing him. Once they did, he gently grabbed their ass and began massaging them. “How do you feel, y/n?” He purred as y/n wrapped their arms around his neck and rested their head against his chest.
“A bit sore,” Y/n whined slightly. "But, you seem to be in need of some relief.” Y/n purred as they attempted to push back against Heisenberg’s dick. The man groaned at this feeling, squeezing y/n’s ass a bit to keep them still. Heisenberg could see the exhaustion starting to take a hold of y/n but the feeling of their drenched cunt against his dick was hard to resist.
“I don’t want you to overexert yourself, Buttercup.” Heisenberg’s voice was soft as he went into kiss y/n’s neck. This made y/n hum in pleasure. “I was pretty fucking hard on you.”
“I want to, sir.” Y/n repositioned themselves over top of him, taking a hold of his dick. They slowly lowered themselves, the slow push hitting every nerve in their cunt. Both y/n and Heisenberg. let out a long and loud moan as they sat themselves down, taking in his full length.
“God, you feel so good, y/n” Heisenberg hissed, grabbing their waist, and gently lifting them up before pulling them back down, thrusting up a bit. Y/n gasped at the feeling, quickly wrapping their arms around Heisenberg’s neck again. Y/n then matched Heisenberg’s movements, lifting themselves up and coming back down. They felt themselves clench around his member, drawing a moan from his lips. “Fuck!” Suddenly, He grabbed Y/n’s legs and stood up. Y/n shrieked, tightening their hold on Mr. Heisenberg. He placed them back down on the desk, which was still cold, making y/n arch their back from the feeling. “Cold still?” Heisenberg joked, kissing their neck again.
“Yesss,” Y/n hissed, trying to grind down on Heisenberg’s dick since he wasn’t moving. “Please, sir.” They whined. Heisenberg lifted his head from y/n neck and looked them in the eye before standing up and pulling y/n’s arm off. “Please fuck me.” They begged. Heisenberg smiled as he grabbed onto y/n thighs before pulling almost all the way out and thrusting back in hard. Y/n let out a small scream that quickly turned into a moan as Heisenberg continued slamming into them.
“Always so perfect like this,” Heisenberg grunted, squeezing y/n’s thighs tight enough where there was a slight sting. Y/n whined at the sensation, tossing their head to the side. “Oh no, look at me.” Mr. Heisenberg growled, grabbing a hold of y/n’s chin, and yanking it so they were facing him. This caused y/n to gasp, grabbing onto his wrist. “I want to see those beautiful eyes of yours while I fuck you senseless.” Y/n moaned again, quickly locking their legs around Heisenberg and bringing him closer. As they did this, he took a hold of their waist with his other hand and lifted them up, shifting the angle. This caused his thrusts to hit deeper into y/n, making the pleasure increase. “You love this, don’t you? When I fuck you like this?” He growled, leaning forward a bit and pulling y/n’s face closer.
“Yes, sir!” Y/n moaned. Heisenberg gave a couple hard thrusts at this answer, drawing the moan out. “I love it when you fuck me, Sir!”
“That’s a good girl,” Heisenberg purred, letting out of y/n’s neck, and moving his hand down their side. “My good little kitten.” This drew another moan from Y/n, enjoying the praise. The hand that had snaked down y/n’s soon made itself known again as Heisenberg began rubbing their clit. The sudden feeling of his hand on their nub drew an incredibly loud gasp from them that then devolved into a whine, seeing as they were still somewhat sensitive there. “All the noises you make are. Just. Fucking. Perfect.” Heisenberg emphasized each of those words with a hard thrust. Y/n’s cunt then clenched hard around his length, making him moan as well, which turned into a small chuckle. “Do you like it when I praise you, Buttercup?” Y/n just nodded, unable to form a coherent enough thought to actually respond. Heisenberg just chuckled before leaning in for another kiss and picking up speed. Y/n mewled into the kiss, the sensation sending them right to the edge again. “Are you about to cum again, y/n?” Heisenberg asked softly, breaking the kiss. Y/n could only moan in response. “Well, then. Go on. Cum. But. Scream. My real name when. You do.” His hips stuttered as he spoke, making the words come out in moans. He then began thrusting even faster, bringing y/n over the edge.
“KAAAARLLL!” Y/n screamed, arching their back as they came. Heisenberg also came at this, thrusting as deep as he could and filling y/n. The warmth of his seed flooding y/n’s insides, making them moan even more. The two remained like that for several minutes as they came down and caught their breath.
“God, that was… shit” Heisenberg said, still somewhat breathless. He slowly pulled out and let go of y/n, pulling a whine from them at the loss. “Think you can stand, Buttercup?” He asked. Y/n lifted their head to look at him, nodding slightly. Heisenberg offered his hands for them to take and use him as leverage. Y/n sat up with a groan, the feeling of Heisenberg’s seed dripping out being an odd sensation. Professor Heisenberg opened a drawer in the desk and pulled out a small rag, which he then used to wipe up any cum dripping down y/n’s legs. They moaned softly at the feeling, biting their lip, and crossing their arms over their chest. Once he was done, Heisenberg sat down in the office chair, beaming at y/n. “Come ‘ere, kitten.” Y/n pushed themselves off the desk and wobbled over into Heisenberg’s lap. “You did so well. Listened to everything I asked. A+ performance.” He purred, pulling y/n close to his chest, and stroking their hair.
“Thank you, sir.” They yawned, exhaustion filling their muscles now that the adrenaline from their arousal has subsided. Heisenberg let out a small chuckle, moving his hand down y/n’s back.
“I told you,” He started, his voice low. “Use my name.” Suddenly, y/n was wide awake. They lifted themselves off of Heisenberg’s chest to look right at him. They were wide eyed, furrowing their brow at his comment. “What’s that fuckin look for, y/n?”
“Sir, I-“ Y/n stammered. Heisenberg just hushed them, pulling them back to his chest.
“Shhhh,” He hummed. “Just relax.” The two of them were silent for a good bit after this. It wasn’t tense, however. Simply reveling in each other’s presence. But this time felt different. Their relationship had shifted. Whether it was a good thing or not, only time would tell. Y/n felt the full extent of the exhaustion that had been piling on them, their eyelids growing too heavy to keep open. Another yawn slipped out of them as they snuggled into Heisenberg. He placed another kiss to the top of y/n head and muttered something else they couldn’t quite catch before y/n drifted off.
