If you are still taking requests, can I please have a drabble medic/pyro/engineer with the prompt dealing with spies (medic and engie were getting targeted a little to much for pyro's liking)?
TF2 Drabbles: Engie/Pyro/Medic (Mostly Pyro) - Spy Hunt
[A/N] I really should do more for this OT3. In game, Medic is my main and Pyro and Engie are my secondaries, depending on the situation and what the team needs. So this trio speaks to me. And when playing Pyro, protecting the Engie, his stuff, and the Medic is high on my list of priorities (even if I am really bad at reflecting rockets away from the sentry gun T.T I try my best though and I've been getting better at it) so it works on multiple levels. So I should do more for them. … Will I though? I don't know yet. We'll see.
And wait, and also, content warning; some kind of intense violence in this one.
~
Back here, so far from the front lines, it was almost quiet. The roar of near ceaseless gunfire and explosions could still be heard of course but not so loud as to drown out everything. The mask was still a liability though, covering his ears and making it more difficult for Pyro to hear the decloak or the sound of footsteps with no visible source.
The enemy Spy was back here somewhere though. This was the third time Pyro had chased him back here. He wouldn’t be getting away to go back to harassing Medic and Engie this time though. Pyro simply would not allow it.
Scanning the area, the world shifted from the pretty pastel colours playing with fire for long enough always brought upon him and the drab colours of the ‘real’ world. Another liability perhaps as it would make it hard to spot if something looked off. But like with the mask, muffling his hearing and obscuring his vision somewhat, he was used to working around that.
He sprayed in a few likely hiding spots, careful not to hold the trigger for too long lest he run out of fuel before finding the Spy. Alas, he found nothing. Ugh! Where had the damn Spy got to? How did he keep getting away?
What if he was already on his way to stab Medic again and then Engie too before sapping all his stuff? The thought made Pyro’s blood boil. How dare Spy go to so much trouble circumventing Pyro just to…
A barely heard sound from behind him. He snapped around to face it, already pulling the trigger on his flame thrower.
The enemy Spy, disguised as Scout again, tried to back pedal out its range but was too late. He screamed as the pretty rainbow flames engulfed him, destroying the hologram that made up his disguise. Back pressed against a wall now, he scrambled to draw his gun. His first shot missed and he didn’t have time to fire a second as Pyro stopped firing, freeing his hand to reach down and pull out his hammer off his belt. He whacked the gun out of Spy’s hand, no doubt breaking his hand in the process.
Before Spy could even try to recover from that or the fire still burning through his suit, Pyro swung the hammer again, this time on Spy’s face. His head exploded in a shower of gory brain matter as his still burning body fell lifeless to the ground. Just for good measure and to work out a little bit more frustration, Pyro hit him one more time, caving his rib cage in with a satisfying wet crunch. There, much better.
Taking a step back, Pyro hooked his hammer back onto his belt and readjusted his grip on the flamethrower. He felt a little better now. Of course that wouldn’t stop Spy from coming back through Respawn and continuing to be a nuisance but at least Pyro had finally gotten him. Hopefully he would start being a bit more cautious now which would result in him being a bit less frequent in his attempts to be a problem.
Pyro turned and started jogging back towards the front line. He needed to get back to Medic and Engie’s sides before the Spy finished Respawning and returned to harass them. Not to mention all the other things Pyro needed to protect them from like rockets and sticky bombs and the enemy Pyro. So he couldn’t afford to dilly-dally for long.

Hit mad falls in love with target - read on ao3
*-*
Peter waved frantically at Tony when he walked into the lab, eyes glued to a computer screen.
"Tony, quick! Look!" He demanded, nearly vibrating in his chair.
Tony made his way over, hands clasped behind his back as he leaned over Peter's shoulder.
"Isn't it awesome?" The young man asked, waving his hands around.
"What am I looking at?" Tony asked.
"Its cancer," Peter said. He points to different colored lines in the graph, all jagged and fluctuating. "This is breast cancer, and this one is pancreatic, skin, lung."
Tony hums as Peter continues to list each colored line as a different form of cancer.
"I was able to isolate the individual cells from everything else, and- look, look!"
Peter snatches Tony by the shirt sleeve and tugs him from one monitor to the one on the other side of the lab. He taps his fingers on the screen, bouncing on his heels.
"These are the cells after being treated with non-radioactive therapy," Peter said, looking up at Tony. "The number of cancer cells is cut in half within a week!"
Peter then drags Tony across the lab again, babbling excitedly as he does so. "Do you know what this means? This means we can start human testing! And we can market the treatment for practically nothing!"
He shows Tony a live feed of the treatment in action from a TV monitor.
"Think about the possibilities," Peter grinned. "Anyone can get treated, no matter their financial standing. And the treatment isn't as harmful as chemo or radiation. It doesn't attack the body as a whole, it isolates the cancer cells and leaves the rest of the body alone.
"No more hair loss or side effects. And we could cut remission in half too," Peter said. "Just think, this time next year, we could start selling to hospitals all over the world."
Tony smiles down at the younger man. He had known within the first day of meeting Peter that he wouldn't be able to follow through. He's glad he hadn't.
"Have you told anybody else?" He asks casually.
"Ned knows," Peter said. "And Bruce, but they were here when it happened."
"Where are they now?"
Peter gives Tony a wry smile, still too excited about his treatment working.
"I sent them home a couple hours ago," he said. "We've all been awake for almost three days, so I'm sure they've gone to bed already."
"You should be in bed too, don't you think?" Tony asked, raising an eyebrow.
Peter waves him off, shaking his head as he goes to his work desk. "I'll sleep later," he said, pulling his lab coat off and draping it over the chair.
He's dressed in his usual outfit; comfortable pants and a button up.
"Plus, I knew you'd make your rounds around this time, and I wanted to tell you," Peter said with a grin, grabbing his personal items.
That was part of Tony's cover. A janitor for the building Peter worked for. Hes wearing a navy blue jump suit, though he's left the cart out in the hallway.
"I'll walk you to your car," Tony hums, leading the way out. When he'd first started this, he'd offered his company to get closer to Peter -to find his vulnerabilities.
Now though, he does it because he's protecting the young scientist.
He'd skipped out with 45 thousand dollars paid to kill the boy, but as the days had gone on, and Peter had grown comfortable with him, Tony realized he couldn't steal him from the world.
Peter was incredible. He worked tirelessly to find a cure for cancer. He's already created a new insulin for diabetes that he's made available to everyone for only $10 a month -something not many other medical professionals liked.
Peter was making enemies left and right, and Tony decided to make it his job to keep him breathing. If not for the rest of his life, then for as long as it takes for the young scientist to see an end to cancer.
The boy wasn't getting much in terms of money for his creations. In fact, from what Tony's come to learn, the boy doesn't own a car, and rents an apartment with his aunt.
He sees enough to live paycheck to paycheck and this new treatment won't do much to better his life, but he's not concerned with money. He wants to make Healthcare more effective and affordable.
Tony's got morals. Enough of them to know when a hit is a bad investment. That didn't stop him from taking his payment anyway.
The two make it to the car park. Its dark, the overhead lights buzzing annoyingly. Its empty, save for a couple cars belonging to a few of the security guards, and the car Peter shares with his aunt.
It's an older model, grey paint chipping and metal beneath rusting near the wheels. Peter talks animatedly beside him, lands flailing in front of him.
Tony glances around them, scowling as he takes in the familiar cement structure.
"Wait," Tony says, just as Peter's pulling the keys from his pocket. They're a couple feet away from the car, and the hairs on Tony's arms and neck stand on end.
"What is it?" Peter asked curiously, reaching for the door handle.
It's just as Peter grips the handle that Tony sees the wire connected to the metal lock on the other side of the glass.
Tony is quick to react, grabbing Peter by the arms and wrenching him away from the door.
Peter yelps in surprise, but its cut out by the sound of a small explosion. Tony braces for the blast of air that knocks the two off their feet, and grits his teeth at the heat that follows.
Peter's pressed against the cement, Tony weighing down on him. His ears ring, but he quickly gets to his feet, unzipping his jumpsuit and grabbing the .9 mm from the waistband of his jeans.
The car is ablaze, crackle-popping and sizzling. Its just the cab thats on fire, but Tony knows its only a matter of seconds before the flames reach the engine and the fuel line.
Tony looks around him, trying to find the culprit -though he knows from experience that the man won't be here.
He grabs Peter by the armpits and pulls him to his feet. Blood smears against his forehead and jaw. His hands and arms are scraped up and Tony can tell his knees are busted too, but it doesn't look like anything damaging.
"We gotta go," Tony urges, already half dragging the younger back towards the building.
"You-you have a gun," Peter gapes, stumbling after Tony, arm in the older's hard grip. "Why do you have a gun?"
Tony reaches the door for the stairwell.
"I'm a hired gun," Tony said, glancing up, then down, gun following his eyeline before pushing Peter towards the stairs going up.
"I thought you were a janitor," Peter gasped, climbing the stairs and swaying. Tony places his free hand on Peter's lower back.
"Thats just a front," Tony confessed. "We got to get you out of here."
"Someone blew up my car," Peter said, panting as they continue up to the first floor. "Aunt May is gonna kill me."
"Not if Buck doesn't kill you first," Tony grunted, pulling Peter out of the stairwell and into the main lobby.
Tony's car is around the side of the building, but its open to attack. Tony can't keep Peter trapped inside the building though, so he risks it.
Their feet slap loudly on the asphalt as they run for the nondescript black SUV Tony had taken to driving.
He checks around the vehicle, under and inside before issuing Peter into the back seat.
Tires screech as Tony peels out of the parking lot.
"What- whats happening? Tony, what- why do-"
"Someones trying to kill you, Peter," Tony said, blowing past the guard tower at the exit of the parking lot.
"But why?" Peter asked dumbly, voice slurring slightly as more blood turns the side of his face crimson.
"I'll answer all your questions when we're safe," Tony promised, eyes frantically shifting from the area ahead of him to the rear view mirror.
Peter must really be feeling the effects of his head slamming into the concrete, because he doesn't protest.
"Lay down," Tony orders, merging into traffic and slowing down. "Lay low until I say."
Peter does -Tony thinks mostly because of his head injury. Tony relaxes a little, knowing the scientist won't be gunned down in the back seat.
"Where are you taking me?"
"Somewhere safe," Tony answered, keeping an eye behind him.
He doesn't see a tail, but he takes a round-about way to his safe house, just outside of Queens.
When they get to the small cabin, Tony checks the building before helping Peter inside.
"I think I have a concussion," Peter mumbles, swaying on his feet as Tony guides him to the kitchen chair.
"I don't doubt it," Tony agrees, setting his gun down on the table beside Peter's elbow before grabbing the first aid kit.
He pulls another chair over in front of the young scientist and opens the red box.
"Let me see your hands," Tony orders. Peter does, palms up. Tony begins to clean them and his arms.
"Tony," Peter says, breaking the silence. Tony doesn't say anything. He reaches up to clean the blood from the side of Peter's cheek.
"Is your name actually Tony?"
Tony makes eye contact before nodding.
"And you're a hired gun?" Peter asks, slightly breathless. "Like, like a hitman?"
"Yes," Tony answers, reaching the cut on Peter's hairline. Peter winces, but doesn't pull away.
"You kill people for a living?"
"Yes."
It takes Peter a couple seconds, but it seems to hit him. Hes bolting to his feet, the chair clattering behind him.
Tony leans back into the chair, watching as Peter begins to pace.
"What- Tony, you have to tell me whats going on," Peter demands, hand on his head. Tony knows from experience that pacing tends to help the scientist expell excess energy.
"I will," Tony nods. Peter continues his pacing. Back and forth beside the kitchen counter.
"Why- why are people trying to kill me?" He demanded. "Who blew up my car?"
Tony sets the paper towels down on the table, knowing Peter won't sit still for him to properly tend to him.
"The one who blew up your car is another hitman," Tony said. "Goes by the name Winter Soldier."
"You called him Buck," Peter said, pointing an accusatory finger at Tony, eyes narrowed.
"I did," Tony nodded. "Hitmen tend to run in the same circles, though we don't always like each other. Bucky was probably hired to finish the job."
"Finish the job," Peter repeated dumbly. "I'm the job?"
Tony nods, once more letting Peter process. He knew Peter would figure it out without Tony's help. He was smart.
"Finish the job means someone already tried to- to kill me," Peter said, panting as he continued to pace. The wound at his hairline is bleeding sluggishly, dripping down his temple and towards his jaw.
Peter wipes at it without thought, smearing blood against his cheek. He pauses to look down at his hand, fingers glistening in red.
He touches his forehead again, as if remembering he's still injured, then turns to Tony, accusation and fear in his Bambi brown eyes.
"You," he said softly, in disbelief. "You were hired to kill me, weren't you."
"I was," Tony nodded.
"But you haven't," Peter said. Tony can practically see the gears turning behind his eyes. "And, and now whoever hired you hired the Winter Soldier."
Tony only nods. Peter takes a shuddering inhale and has to grip the counter with a bloody hand to stabilize himself.
"I'm- I'm- who- who would want to-to kill me?!"
"The payment was anonymous," Tony said. "Thats how it works. But whoever it is is threatened by you."
Peter looks at Tony incredulously. "Me? Why me? I'm the least threatening person -like- ever!"
"You've cost Big Pharma millions with your insulin," Tony said. "You've patented it, so they can't take it and upcharge the way they've been doing. And if your treatment for cancer is a success, you'd be costing them even more."
Peter takes a moment to process that before he nods. "Right, yeah. I knew I was going to make a lot of people mad about that, but. But I never expected anyone to actually try to kill me."
"Money is a powerful motive," Tony said, a little too much experience leaking into his tone.
Peter hears it, because he stops his pacing, shoulders dropping. Exhaustion seems to pull him towards the floor like an anvil tied to his spine.
He sways a little, and Tony's about to offer him the chair again, but he moves to it willingly. When he sits, their knees are barely touching, and he blinks dazedly at his bloody hand.
Tony grabs a clean rag and leans forward to clean up the blood from Peter's head. The younger lets him, still processing and no doubt sluggish from the concussion.
"Why didn't you?" Peter asked after Tony had taped gauze to his hairline. It was patchy and poorly done, but it would help.
"Why didn't I what," Tony hummed, using an alcoholic wet wipe to clean the remaining blood from Peter's hands. The boy winces at the burn to his scraped palms.
"Kill me," he said, swallowing thickly. "You had plenty of opportunity."
Tony sighed, setting the wipes down before leaning forward and looking Peter in the eye.
"Because I believe in the work you're doing," he said honestly. "And I'm going to make sure you finish it."
Peter blinks once, twice, before breaking eye contact and sighing, body eating to melt into the chair as the air leaves his lungs.
"Come on," Tony said, standing up and slipping the gun into the waistband of his pants. Then offering his hand. "This place is safe. Theres a bed you can sleep in."
"I shouldn't sleep with a concussion," Peter said weakly, taking Tony's offered hand anyway.
"Its mild, I'm sure you'll be fine," Tony mused, heading deeper into the cabin to the bedroom.
The bedroom isn't anything special. A twin bed in the corner, a four drawer dresser and a blackout curtain.
Peter climbs onto the bed, not bothering with the covers or taking his shoes off. Tony thinks its best he sleep with them on anyway, in case Bucky finds them.
Tony moves to leave, grabbing the handle, and Peter bolts upright again, eyes wide.
"You're okay," Tony promises. "I'll be right outside."
Peter gives the barest shake of his head. "Stay here, please," he says softly.
Tony nods, shutting the door and turning off the light before making his way to the side of the bed. Theres an old step stool there, and he sits down at the head of the bed.
Peter lays back down, body too tense to ever fall asleep. Tony keeps his ears attuned to any noise that could alert him to Bucky, or anyone else, gun sitting perfectly stop on his knee, finger off the trigger, but ready at a moments notice.
"Tony?"
"Yes, Peter."
Peter shuffles around, and Tony turns his head just in time to feel pillow soft lips connect with the corner of his mouth.
He can't help but smirk as Peter settles back down. "Thanks for not killing me."
Tony chuckles at that, leaning his head against the wall. "I may be a hitman, but I've got morals," he says into the dark room. "Besides, nobody likes cancer."
Peter laughs tiredly at that before reaching his hand out and grabbing Tony's. Their fingers interlock, and Tony doesn't really know which one of them initiated it.
"You're going to be okay," Tony continued. "I wont let anyone hurt you. You're safe with me."
"I know."

I'm sort of torn on Raven's "She saved us again"? It's like from a character standpoint, I get it. Their friend just "died", so of course they would elevate her. But it still sort of feels like the writers hitting me over the head with "Clarke is THE hero always". When the reality is that Raven has been the one to save their asses in basically every finale. I don't know, it just felt sort of eye-rolly and like JRoth's "Clarke single-handedly took down the mountain" during S2 hiatus.
Alright, Nonny. Let’s get down to business (to defeat….the Huns!).
The actual reality is that there has never been ONE hero in ANY season and no this isn’t me trying to downplay Raven to boost up Clarke because I “hate WOC”. Let me explain the Bravenlarke of it all:
We talk about the Core Four all the time, but in reality the actual core of our show rests on Bellamy, Clarke and Raven (Octavia is usually included in the Core Four, but for the most part her story is almost always separate from the main cast until the very end of the Season). Let’s begin our exploration with Season 1:
We know how the Season 1 finale ends, with the Delinquents closing the Dropship door and “blasting off”, but who actually made it happen? Lots of us would say Raven because, well…she is the genius, but when did the actual idea come into play?
Clarke: “It can’t be that simple. You said there’s fuel in those rockets, right?”
Raven: “Enough to build 100 bombs. I also said we’ve got no gunpowder left.”
Clarke: “I don’t want to build a bomb. I want to blast off.”
Raven: “Draw them in close. Fire the rockets. A ring of fire.”
Bellamy: “Barbecued grounders. I like it.”
Finn: “Will it work?”
Raven: “The wiring’s a mess down there, but yeah. You give me enough time, I’ll cook them real good.”Clarke has the idea. If she’d never had the idea would they ever have been able to stop the Grounders?
Bellamy runs the physical side of things as the leader of the gunners to get Raven the time she needs to wire up the Dropship.
Raven implements the idea by walking Clarke through the steps (because she is too wounded to do it herself). Jasper does have to complete the job because Raven has passed out, but Raven does most of the setup.
The Season 1 finale was a 3 part save. It’s not Raven who saves their asses, it’s all three of them.
On to Season 2:
The plan to take down the Mountain once again utilized Bravenlarke (with some Monty actually). This might have been harder to recognize because it happened over the course of several episodes. The plan goes into action in 2x09 when Clarke reverses her original refusal to let Bellamy go into the Mountain and decides “It’s worth the risk”, although at the time, we don’t see it that way:
Bellamy: “We need to do this now. You’ve got the alliance. Now is the time to use it.”
Clarke: “First, we need an inside man. You were right. Without someone on the inside to lower their defenses, turn off the acid fog, an army is useless. You should go.”
Bellamy: “I thought you hated that plan, that I would get myself killed.”
Clarke: “I was being weak. It’s worth the risk. My map of Mount Weather. Find a way to get on that radio and talk to us. Good luck.”
The idea to shut down the Acid Fog is initially Clarke’s, but is accomplished with help from Raven(Wick) and Bellamy in 2x14:
Raven: “Wait. Corrosion. The protective oxide film would have to be restored in tanks this old. They’d need to be cleaned.”
Wick: “And neutralized. Bellamy, go to that subdirectory. See if there’s anything there that says “passivation."”
Bellamy: “Ok. I’m on it. Got it. Says, uh, "aqueous sodium hydroxide bath."”
Wick: “That’s a base. That’ll neutralize the acid. Select that.”
Bellamy: “It’s doing something.”
Raven: “You should be able to hear the pump.”
Bellamy: “I can hear them. Needle’s moving. pH is rising. It’s working. Passivation success.”
Raven and Wick: “Yes!”
As we know, the Mountain discovers the tampering and reverse the Passivation so Bellamy winds up having to blow up the acid, but the initial plan was Clarke’s idea, Bellamy doing the work, Raven(and Wick) walking Bellamy through implementing the idea.
In the end, the final save actually comes down to Bellamy, Clarke and Monty (because Raven is being harvested). I actually think Monty temporarily replacing Raven in the Season 2 finale is because they were originally going to develop Wicken in such a way that they needed the extra development that the harvesting scene gave them.
Clarke: “Monty, can you do it? Can you irradiate the level?”
Monty: “I can do it.”
A bit later:Clarke: “Why are you stopping?”
Monty: “Because I did it. All we have to do… is pull this. Hatches and vents will open, and the scrubbers reverse, pulling in outside air”
Bellamy: “He’s gonna blow the door. Clarke, we’re out of time.”
Bellamy: “My sister. My responsibility.”
Clarke: “I have to save them.”
Bellamy: “Together.”
So again, a 3 part save, not just Raven.
Clarke has the idea to irradiate the Mountain and pulls the lever.
Bellamy spends the Season as the inside man, disables the acid fog and helps pull the lever.
Monty implements the idea by setting up the Mountain for irradiation.
Let’s discuss Season 3:
The Season 3 save was, again, a Bravenlarke combo. Let’s break down why:
Clarke: “Good. Then we have time.”
Murphy: “What we don't have is a way down.”
Bellamy: “Time for what?”
Clarke: “An Ascension ceremony.”
Murphy: “Ascension? You just said Ontari wasn't an option. Besides, she's still chipped, and we no longer have an EMP.”
Clarke: “We're not putting the Flame in Ontari's head. We're putting it in mine.”
Bellamy: “Clarke, that thing killed Emerson in seconds, liquefied his brain.”
Clarke: “Emerson wasn't connected to a Nightblood.”
Pike: “Transfusion?”
Clarke: “Not exactly.”
Abby: “Connected like Mount Weather.”
Clarke: “Yes. Everything we need is in your med kit”
Abby:.”No. It's too dangerous, and there are too many variables.”
Clarke: “But no options.”
Then, after Clarke has taken the Flame:
Bellamy: “I believe you.”
Abby: “Do you even know what you're looking for?”
Clarke: “I'll know when I find it.”
Abby: “May we meet again.”
Clarke: “We will.”
Bellamy: “We'll keep you safe.”
And, in the City of Light:
It’s Raven who reveals the door to the kill switch and, when Clarke doesn’t open it immediately, paints her raven across it.
So once again, this is not just Raven at work
Clarke has the idea to take the Flame herself (and even the how-Mt. Weather blood recycling), and taking the Flame is how she knows she needs to take the Chip.
Bellamy leads the guard for Clarke’s physical form, giving her time to complete her mission, with Abby as the last line of defense.
Raven uses her ALIE super brain to read the code, discover that Clarke is inside the City of Light, where she is and that she needs help, then provides that help to her.
And we’re on to our latest Season, 4! And, as I’m sure you’ve picked up on the pattern, Bravenlarke is back at it again, we arrive in 4x12 to:
Bellamy: “Clarke, unless I am missing something, there is no other way for all of us to survive.”
Clarke: “What if there is?”
Skip forward to the Space Squad Seven (Plus Clarke) arriving on Science Island:
Raven: “But there’s no time to go back.”
Clarke: “We’re not going back. We’re going up.”
Murphy: “Ah, don’t look so surprised. It was all your idea to begin with.” (Speaking of Raven’s desire to commit suicide by space, however Clarke is still the person who has the idea to actually live on the Ring).
Raven: “Space? We don’t have enough fuel to get down.”
Harper: “Sounds like a 5-year problem to me.”
Raven: “You’re (said to Clarke) talking about the Ring.”
Bellamy: “Seems like a shame to let a good rocket go to waste.”
Raven: “How do we live?”
Clarke: “They left a water reclamator up there and we know that Go-Sci has an algae farm. We just get those two things up and running and we have food and water.”
Murphy: “Algae salads and recycle urine. Sign me up.”
Emori: “Better than dying.”
Murphy: “Yeah, you say that now.”
Raven: “All right. Slow down. Breathing’s important, too. What’s the plan for oxygen?”
Monty: “Based on what Murphy says about the Lighthouse Bunker, I’m guessing-make that praying-there’s an oxygenator there. We take it with us. You hook it up. Bob’s your uncle.”
Raven: “You’re an engineer, Monty. You do know there’s about a thousand things wrong with that plan, right?”
Monty: “Yes, and every one of them kills us. Of course, staying here will kill us, too, so-”
Bellamy: “Raven, we need you to get us off the ground before the death wave hits. What do you say? Can you do it?”
Raven: “What do I say? I say that death wave can kiss my ass.”
Clarke: “Good. It’s settled then. We’re going back to the Ark.”
Now we’re going to finish this bit of evidence up with 4x13, I’m not going to pull quotes on this one, because the finale should be fresh in our minds as it wasn’t even two weeks ago, I’m just going to do the wrap up:
Clarke has the idea to return to space and even figures out how they’ll supply themselves with food and water once they make it up there and makes sure that the uplink is ready for the rocket when they arrive.
Bellamy is responsible for inspiring the masses (Raven and Echo specifically this episode) and ultimately making the hard call and choosing to close the door on Clarke instead of waiting.
Raven uses her non-ALIE powered but still super brain to figure out how to turn a 2-seater into an 8-seater, run the flight check, pilot them to the ring and get them into the hanger bay.
So when Raven says “She saved us again.” She’s not wrong. If Clarke had not had the idea to go to Space in the first place, everyone except for her would have died. If she hadn’t chosen to make the sacrifice and stay behind, physically moving that satellite dish to make sure the Ark was up, the ones who did manage to make it into space would have died.
Consistently, every Season, the finale save has always been a combination of Head (Clarke), Heart (Bellamy) and Guts (Raven) saving the day, but so many of y’all would rather look at it as Clarke being elevated, or a fandom being racist against a WOC (Raven), or (if you’re a Br/ven) the Bellarke fandom being unable to accept Br/ven as a romantic pairing without putting Clarke in it as well, when Bravenlarke is truly a platonic ship, lmao.
I’d bet you anything that in Season 5, Bravenlarke team work is once again what saves the day (even though 6 years and space has changed their relationship).
