Y'all are getting a twofer this weekend. I'm supposed to be writing the next Gravity Well chapter but when have I ever been able to wrangle my impulses?

Not that this is in any way related to the 3quelfic, but I wanted to brainstorm sleeping quarters on a heavily modified Auzituck gunship and then got lost in the sauce in my newer CSP brushes. This is all in service of future fic illustrations, don't judge me.

May or may not work on a third sketch based on a pre-ANH meet-cute before the weekend is over. I hope not. I really need to write.

The best option was to kill Ranboo. Everyone begging for him to “live” assumes that choice would be the merciful option is naïve for thinking Hatch would simply set him free. No he said verbatim that Ranboo would continue to be our plaything until they became “unusable.” That isn’t being alive, that’s torture, especially for someone who was begging to be killed in the end.

People pushing for a 50/50 split are also naïve in the way Showfall Media operates. While we never know what would happen if the vote split, it wouldn’t of mattered anyway. Hell, it doesn’t matter that we choose to kill. What has been the constant sentiment throughout this series?

Ranboo was dead man walking before the show even began. Do you really think Hatch really is gonna let Ranboo die on his own accord just because twitch chat felt bad for him? NO! He is probably being reprogrammed as we speak, up and ready for their next show. None of this matters. All of this was for data on the newly implemented live audience Hatch installed to see how we would react to certain things.

How could Ranboo’s death be our fault, when our actions and emotions were also being used by Showfall Media?

Who says we weren’t just as trapped as Ranboo, only we get the privilege of remembering his death.

fun meta about the sylus so far is that his pet crow, mephitos, is named after a demon in german folklore; it's perhaps most famous depiction is in faust, as "mephistopheles" -- the etymology of which is debatable but the most interesting meaning is:

"not loving light"

which is kinda cute considering "onychinus" is a super obvious play on "onyx" but the most interesting thing is that in the legend of faust, the titular faust makes a deal with the devil for information, and mephistopheles acts as the devil's messenger.

makes me think of the main plotline for mc in l&ds; i think it sets up the relationship between her and sylus p well tbh, the whole mirroring of making a "deal with the devil".

thinking about how many insane alador takes there are that aren't even like, actual legitimate criticism of him and are just, extremely weird sometimes

He literally tried to STOP a mass murder on the Day of Unity. And HE was also the one who stopped Odalia from trying to murder Luz.

(And mind you, it still annoyed me how quickly his involvement with that in the first was forgotten about. The only one who seemed to care was Eda and it was mostly played off as a joke)

My heart is still racing, but OH MY GOD! WHAT THIS COULD MEAN FOR THE FUTURE OF THE CAMPAIGN AND EVEN ASHTON’S STORY!!

They were told by MANY PEOPLE that a being cannot hold two shards within them, and although I would have loved to see what would happen with a Titan powered Fearne, I am SO EXCITED to see what happens now that Ashton has literally done the impossible!

As Matt said, at the moment Ashton is an unprecedented creature (whatever that means) and that could lead to some REALLY interesting story points and I’m also really excited to see how the group dynamic changes.

Ashton is an asshole. That is just common knowledge, but even though they have a huge heart of gold and did this so they could ‘protect everyone’, it was not the plan and everyone, even Fearne, is probably furious at them for being so careless with their life! What they are doing is going to cause more harm then good to the people he loves and he doesn’t realize that.

He is going to have to live with the aftermath of this and that might result in the Hells not trust him like they used to, and I am really excited to see the story, and character dynamic, implications of this even.

Also good gods above this is definitely going into one of the top CR moments now.
