Note
do you not blame the band for causing metal beak to distrust allomere?
Nope.
I believe Metal Beak was always going to betray him.

what do you think of kludd joining the pure ones all because he wasn't appreciated at home in the movie?
In the books, Kludd also believed that he wasnāt appreciated. The movie just showed Kludd as a more sympathetic villain, where to books depicted him as a bad egg from the start.
One of the things from the movie that I actually really liked.

kludd's willingness to kill his family members vs twilight being the one to strike the final blow on kludd, thus sparing soren the pain of having to kill his own brother in an inversion of the TUPSI ceremony... itās about the found family... it's about how blood does not bind you or define you. love does

Note
what are the problems of allomere trusting metal beak?
Pretty obvious with the fact that the Pure Ones are straight up evil and want to rule over everyone else with an iron talon, but itās pretty common in the books for characters to believe that they can get in good graces with them.
I think Allomere is one of those characters. So arrogant that he doesnāt realize that heās just playing right into the Pure Ones plans and is simply a tool for their victory.

do you think it was too much for soren for kludd to become evil? or not?
Thatās his brother, of course it was too much for him.
Throughout the books, Soren has to grapple with the fact that he would have to kill his brother. Even in a moment of anger where he wanted to kill his brother, he hesitates and Twilight is the one to do it instead, because he knew that Soren would never forgive himself if he had killed his own brother.

Note
the reason why soren's parents didn't ask about kludd is because they're acting like kludd doesn't exist. what do you think?
Again, another strange movie decision.
In the books they show up for the first chapter or two of book one and then die.

Note
why couldn't metal beak betray allomere earlier instead of waiting until the band arrives?
Canāt really answer that one for you because Iām not sure either.
Allomere isnāt a character in the books so his point in the movie is mainly to just stir up drama.
Itās more of a writing choice than a character one.

do you think it would have been better if nyra from legend of the guardians: the owls of ga'hoole was the final boss since she had a lot of screentime while metal beak did not have much?
I feel like Nyra was supposed to be the main villain for a possible second movie, given that Metal Beak and Kludd are separate characters in the movie while being one and the same in the books.
She is the āright hand manā or āright wing ladyā of the villain from legend, so her being the secret antagonist makes sense for a story.
Besides, after Kluddās death in the books she becomes the main antagonist. I think the movies were trying to do something like that. Keep her as a henchwoman before turning her into the main villain.

what do you think of legend of the guardians: the owls of gaāhoole?
I honestly love it.
It was my introduction to the world when I was little because it would always play on YTV for Big Fun Movies events (if youāre Canadian then you know).
It still holds up as a stand alone movie to this day in my opinion. Even after I started reading the books many years later and now have some nitpicks, I still greatly love the movie and thank it for introducing me to this world.
I will never forgive them for changing Otulissaās species though. That one irks me now.

can you imagine how old soren and gylfie are when they were owlets and when they grow their adult feathers in human years in the capture?
I know, itās a horrible thought.
Owls typically take a few months to fully grow into their adult feathers. Given that Soren and Gylfie were still owlets, they were definitely stuck at St. Auggieās for a few months at least, and they fled before they had fully grown into their feathers since they would have been attacked by vampire bats if they stayed any longer.
With human years, going from child to adult would mean that Soren and Gylfie would have been stuck at St. Auggieās for AT LEAST a decade. (Say age of 10 to 20).
Could you imagine having to pretend that you were actually a mindless husk for 10 years, never being able to ask a question or else you would be tortured while everyone laughs at you?
Itās a horrible thought.

Anything youāre working on lately?
School assignments mostly.
Dialogue animation, a storyboard, and a character design pack are the main ones.
Other than school work though, Iāve been working on a comic based on a game of Vampire: The Masquerade that I played with my friends.
Hence a lack of big fanart for the past few months.
