October 8, 1903 / city:????
Ariel is the youngest among her 6 sisters, she has always been very spoiled and loved by her father and sisters.
Ariel could never have known her mother, as when she was still a baby her mother died in a car accident and this devastated the family, as her mother was very loved. So every time they went to visit her mother's grave she sang some song in honor of her mother which her father and sisters loved.
With her mother dead, her aunt (on her father's side) who had the nickname "Úrsula" decided to take care of and educate the girls, obviously the girls didn't like her but they couldn't do anything because "she was family, and family has to love".
Her father was a strong and very intelligent mobster, he always ordered his henchmen to kill and charge anyone who owed money, he was very cold in these matters.... but when he wasn't working, he was a super sweet father with his daughters: kisses, affection, gifts, going out for a walk, telling bedtime stories, dancing with his daughters among other things.
Each of his daughters had a gun that their father gave as a gift and taught how to use, Ariel at the age of 14 got a gold brass knuckles, it was heavy but it was beautiful and Ariel loved her gun, But Ursula repressed her brother because "delicate ladies can't use weapons" but Ariel's father always said "I don't care" and continued to teach his daughters how to use weapons.
On a terrible day, their father died by groups of enemy mobsters and this led the 7 daughters to a great endless sadness for the loss of their dear father. Úrsula had to take care and educate them 100% now, and it was terrible "Laugh right! you look like a crow! " "don't eat too much, you're getting fat" "those clothes look awful on you" "you look ugly with short hair, let it grow" "you'll have to marry and have children" "throw those weapons away, they look wild", Ariel was very rebellious and never obeyed her Aunt
when Ariel turned 19, her aunt forced her to marry a rich man named Eric at the age of 28, Ariel and her sisters tried to protest but her aunt wouldn't listen, with tears in her eyes Ariel married Eric, Aric was a terrible husband.
Eric was thick, he didn't allow Ariel to visit her sisters, rude, he always made it clear that he cheated on Ariel with women, and he didn't like Ariel's voice because anything Ariel said or sang he beat her, Ariel reduced herself mute for 3 years, until one day Ariel caused Eric because she couldn't stand being one of the "other maids" anymore and then Eric beat her that her face turned red and her nose bled, Ariel wanted to see.
One night when Eric was drinking, Ariel started insulting Eric, calling him smelly, ugly, rude, skinny among other things. Eric tried to hit her with the bottle but ariel had his brass knuckles hidden for 3 years punched him so hard it broke his jaw, Ariel climbed on top of him and hit him really, really hard, she was taking all her hate out on him when the floor and her hands filled with blood, Ariel felt free.
Ariel how could she be arrested for murder, stole her money and fled to another city, St. Loiue and that made her very sad, she wanted to see her sisters and take them, but she couldn't.
Upon arriving in the city she went through many difficulties, until she saw that a restaurant had a vacancy for a singer and this was a chance to change her life, but obviously the queue was very long so Ariel had to give everything of herself to get the vacancy, Ariel got all dressed up, put on the best dress, best makeup and as she was late and couldn't find her hairbrush in time, she grabbed a fork from her kitchen and started combing her hair as she ran to the restaurant.
Ariel had a magnificent voice like an angel, so she was hired and her life improved a lot (at least she didn't have to starve anymore).
{🌊trivia🌊} • Ariel was always singing at home, she would make up lyrics about anything and sing.
• Ariel was nicknamed the "little mermaid" because she was very fond of books about sea animals, sea monsters and because she was small
• Ariel is afraid of heights
•His favorite food and fish
•Ariel loves the colors green, blue and pink
• Ariel every time she misses her sisters, she sings a song
•Ariel has a goldfish called "Flounder"
• Likes clothes with shine and lots of details
• Ariel is very affectionate and very curious, in the first days Ariel looked at and touched EVERYTHING in the restaurant

Review: The Little Mermaid (2023) [SPOILERS]
Hey, everyone! So I’ve finally seen the much-anticipated live action remake of Disney’s The Little Mermaid, featuring Halle Bailey as our finned leading lady! (For my review of the original Little Mermaid I wrote a while back, you can click here!)
For those of you who wish to avoid spoilers, I will admit -- for someone who has never been a huge fan of these Disney LA remakes, this film is definitely one of the strongest I’ve seen thus far. There’s a lot I could see someone enjoying in this, and there were honestly changes made to the original film’s storyline and characters that I really, really liked. Even with those changes, though, there are a lot of things I don’t like about the finished product, which prevent me from calling this a great movie, most of which involve the characters surrounding our two romantic leads. I would definitely encourage you all to see this movie, because there obviously was a lot of hard work put into it and the two leads in particular deserve your support -- but if you are fans of the original Little Mermaid, it’s very possible that you will have very strong opinions about certain choices made, not all of them positive.
Without further ado...let’s dive right in!
The Good!
+Halle Bailey as Ariel. Although I would’ve preferred if she’d had a hotter temper the way Ariel in the original is depicted, she still has all of the curiosity, wonder, recklessness, courage, and conviction that our favorite little mermaid is supposed to have. You truly feel how much Ariel loves the human world and wants to be part of it, just like in the original. Any of those racists who crowed about Halle Bailey only being picked as part of some “woke” corporate decision are truly eating their words -- unlike Emma Watson, who was clearly cast as Belle for very surface-related reasons rather than for any vocal talent, Halle shines every time she’s on screen, and ESPECIALLY when she sings. Good friggin’ JESUS, does this girl have some amazing pipes!!
+ERIC!! OH MY GOD, ERIC!! As sad as I am to admit it, I’ve always found Eric to be rather bland, as Disney heroes go. Sure, he’s a nice enough guy who isn’t full of himself and likes dogs, but he’s still rather “genEric,” if you’ll excuse the pun. But here? Here, the story truly accents that he and Ariel are kindred spirits -- soulmates, in the truest sense! Eric feels just as trapped by his mother’s narrow world view as Ariel does by Triton’s -- he longs to explore new worlds and get to know new cultures just as much as she does -- he loves learning and discovering and breaking rules just as much as she does...he even has his own “grotto” where he keeps his treasures!! (I actually gasped out loud in delight when I saw that panning shot of Eric’s study! It’s just like the one of Ariel’s grotto, right down to the skylight!!)
+Partially because of the heightened focus on Eric’s character, Eric and Ariel’s relationship was infinitely more interesting to me! I loved them connecting over learning new things in Eric’s study, even before going into town together -- it really highlights one of the best things about Ariel and Eric’s relationship in the original film, which is that even without her voice, Ariel is strong, passionate, charming, and likable enough that Eric can see her heart clearly and falls in love with her regardless. Even without her voice, Ariel’s agency shines through, and so do her feelings for Eric and the human world overall. Halle and Jonah’s interactions were overflowing with chemistry, and you got to really see Eric and Ariel falling in love in a convincing way, even despite the limited time frame.
+Ariel clutching statue!Eric’s broken hand! Oh gosh, the symbolism of that, how I love it!! Like Belle from Beauty and the Beast, all Ariel really wants is “someone to understand” -- that, excuse me, human connection is a longing she can hardly put into words, and it’s just heart-wrenching.
+Ariel and Eric stargazing and Ariel using the constellation Aries to tell Eric her name was such clever writing, as well as absolutely precious. It’s choices like this that really prove to me how much Eric and Ariel’s relationship really meant to the screenwriters and how sincere they wanted it to feel.
+The colors were great! I was really worried from what I saw in the trailers that this film was going to be bland and unsaturated in its visuals, but I’m so glad they fixed them in time for the premiere, because they look so much better. The mermaids’ coloring in particular was really very pretty.
+The costumes by Colleen Atwood were pretty good too, even though far more understated than a lot of her other work. I even enjoyed the cool “fishy” cape that King Triton wore in his first appearance, though he never used it again, which was kind of disappointing.
+I’m honestly glad the film cut Les Poissons. The whole scene from the original was kind of uncomfortable and unnecessary, and its exclusion was a welcome change, even if it did result in Sebastian sounding much brattier when he complained to Ariel that she should appreciate “all that he’s done” for her.
+Every time Halle sang was amazing, period, full stop. Even Jonah, Daveed, and Melissa did pretty well with their songs, though I’ll talk about issues I had with them later.
+The effects for the merpeople and environments overall were quite well done! The storm scene was super suspenseful, even with prior knowledge of what was going to happen, and I really enjoyed the camera work that created this feeling of floating and weightlessness in the merpeople when they were underwater.
+I thought the ending where Triton and the other merpeople came up in a show of solidarity for Ariel before her and Eric’s sea voyage was sweet. I liked it in the original when they came for Ariel and Eric’s wedding too, but I kind of liked Triton expressing vocal support for his youngest daughter and the rest of mer-kind appearing too, so that both worlds -- on land and under the sea -- came together as one to support their two royals as they embarked on this new adventure together to hopefully improve the lives of all of their subjects.
+Max is a good dog. But hey, he’s always been a good dog. I especially love how he and Ariel are kind of buddies from the get-go.
The Not-So-Good...
+Scuttle. Oh my GOD, was she insufferable. I was worried when I first heard Scuttle was going to be played by Awkwafina, who -- I’ll just be honest -- I don’t really care for as an actor and don’t find very funny or likable...but I had no idea they were actually going to make her SING, maybe aside from that one little bit Scuttle had in Kiss the Girl. But not only did Scuttle make a really uncomfortable pop culture reference when trying to serenade Eric and at one point obnoxiously go off-key in Kiss the Girl when I was actually somewhat enjoying the harmonies, but she then goes on to get her OWN number. Yeah, a WHOLE SONG where she can be completely obnoxious. I never thought I would detest a song the great Lin-Manuel Miranda wrote, but Awkwafina sure managed to make The Scuttlebutt impossible to sit through. Not even Daveed Diggs could make it better for me when he jumped in halfway through. Couple this with a “realistic” design that can’t emote anything except “singing bass mounted on your wall” and it’s little wonder I feel nothing but revulsion toward this character.
+Flounder! Not only did his “realistic” design make him much less colorful and cute, but his lack of expression completely counteracted Jacob Tremblay’s sadly only mediocre acting performance, making the entire character dull and lacking in pathos. This is supposed to be Ariel’s BEST FRIEND -- the one character who she trusts enough to confide in, even if he doesn’t understand her obsession with human things and is a total scaredy-cat, all because he loves her just the way she is -- and yet you feel nothing for either Flounder or his relationship with Ariel in this movie. Yes, perhaps it makes more sense for Ariel to find Eric’s statue and bring it back to her grotto herself than Flounder somehow smuggling into her grotto for her with no explanation...but the action showcased how much Flounder supports Ariel, even when he’s scared of humans himself and wishes Ariel wouldn’t break the rules all the time. Here, Flounder doesn’t show even half that amount of caring for Ariel’s feelings -- partly because his animation won’t let him, and partly because the screenwriters never let him express it.
+Sebastian. Now I’ll be fair -- Daveed Diggs does have a few good moments in this movie as Sebastian, mostly in the singing sphere, but he still has none of the dynamic personality the original Sebastian does. Part of this is because -- like Flounder and Scuttle -- his design doesn’t let him emote enough, but it’s also because the writers almost never let him express anything besides cynicism or dry humor. They even take away Sebastian’s love and passion for music by just making him Triton’s Major Domo, rather than the lead conductor of the royal orchestra! So yeah, Sebastian in this movie is pretty much just “under-the-sea Zazu.” The few times Sebastian tries to express sincere emotion in this movie, it falls flat, because of the poor direction Daveed’s been given. There’s a lovely exchange from the original that they try to recreate in this movie where Sebastian finally stops doing what Triton would want and agrees to help Ariel, but Daveed’s delivery is so stilted that it doesn’t have any of the impact it should. Another time, when Ariel is on the rocks despairing about Eric choosing Vanessa, Sebastian starts to show some sympathy, saying that he’s seen Ariel and Eric together and he’s convinced they’re supposed to be together...only for the monologue to get crashed into by Scuttle trying to move the plot along before we can let any emotion in the scene congeal! Sebastian is one of the characters that goes through the biggest evolution in this movie, and that arc falls completely flat in this film, thanks to a bad combination of unemotive CGI animation and poor writing and acting choices.
+Triton. If Sebastian’s arc fell flat, Triton’s really didn’t work for me. Half of what makes Triton’s storyline and by extension Ariel’s so meaningful is that Triton starts off as an objectively pretty poor father to his youngest daughter, but he ends up learning the error of his ways and becomes a better man and a better father by accepting his daughter was right and learning to let her go. At the beginning of the story, Triton is furious because his youngest daughter misses a concert where all of his children were set to sing a song heralding him (“Oh, we are the daughters of Triton, great father who loves us and named us well”). Later he consistently shouts Ariel down when she tries to explain that humans aren’t all bad. He interrupts her more than once, actively refusing to listen, and his temper is violent enough that Ariel finally just has to swim off choking back tears, running to her treasures for some semblance of comfort. In this version, though? Triton never gets violent or aggressive in the beginning -- he acts a bit pompous, perhaps, when greeting his daughters, and he’s cross when Ariel’s not there...but when she arrives, he never yells at her. He never rages at her. He never even interrupts her! And yet he still acts all guilty when she leaves (”was I too hard on her?”) and Ariel acts like he’s being so unfair to her. And then, at the drop of a hat and while expressing nothing but raw hurt rather than volatile rage, Triton destroys Ariel’s treasures “for her own good.” Worse, unlike Triton in the original, he doesn’t even spare the slightest look back at Ariel or look the least bit sorry about seeing how much he’s hurt his daughter. That’s somehow even MORE cruel than the original version, even though earlier he’s depicted as so much more reasonable! Ariel expresses disappointment that Triton just “won’t listen,” a sentiment echoed later by Eric about his own mother -- but honestly, in both Triton’s and the Queen’s cases, they weren’t aggressive enough for the parallel to work or for Triton’s arc in accepting his daughter’s choices to have much of an impact.
+Ursula. It wasn’t really that Melissa McCarthy was bad, persay -- she’s certainly better than most of the other LA remakes’ villains in overall presence and performance...but I’m sorry, she’s still just way less fun to hate than the original! For one, her constantly talking about her plan to herself and making it super obvious what she’s doing the entire time got old really fast -- Ursula in the original was perfectly willing to keep some of it under wraps until the end where it was necessary to make everything clear, and I think it made her come across as much more intelligent and crafty. There’s also a part toward the end where she just goes completely nuts looking for a potion ingredient for about thirty seconds that was utterly pointless. But the thing that saddens me most is what they cut out of Ursula’s character. The part of Poor Unfortunate Souls when Ursula tries to gaslight Ariel into thinking appearances are all that matter and “it’s she who holds her tongue who gets her man” may have been deleted in a misguided attempt to not promote that message (seriously, was anyone actually taking romantic advice from Ursula the Sea Witch??), but in truth, it showcased so much about Ursula’s character -- how, truthfully, she’s all about appearances, more than anything internal like one’s heart, morals, soul, or intelligence...and so she can’t fathom Ariel and Eric connecting over anything that isn’t superficial. Ursula being Triton’s sister is also, quite frankly, an idea I wish that was left discarded on the development floor. I don’t like the idea either here or in the musical, and here I dislike it even more, because at first it seemed like the filmmakers were going to reveal that the reason Ursula got exiled was related to what happened to Ariel’s mother or maybe even why Eric was found washed up on the shore by the King and Queen (since it’s said Ursula liked causing “trouble” between humans and merpeople), only to not deliver on it at all. Ariel also claims Ursula’s “nothing like how Triton described her” -- girl, HOW did he describe her, then, because she’s shady AF??
+Ariel using the sunken ship’s bow to kill Ursula instead of Eric. Look, Disney, I’m all for a strong female lead, but you already HAVE one, in Ariel. There’s nothing wrong with Ariel needing to be rescued too, now and again. In the original, Ariel and Eric trade saving each other’s lives, and it’s honestly kind of adorable -- in this film where they’re even more like peers, it would’ve been a great choice. And honestly, Eric saving Ariel would’ve meant so much more even in this film, and it all comes back to Triton’s arc again. After Triton is resurrected (I’m sorry, the film really did NOT make clear that that was even possible, so that felt like a major deus ex machina), Ariel tells her father than she “had help” in saving his life. How much more would that have been true if ERIC had been the one who stabbed Ursula, or that Eric and Ariel steered the ship together? Hell, how much more would it have proven that Triton’s world view was wrong? The whole reason he supposedly hates humans -- to the point that he’s made the seas so turbulent that Eric’s kingdom is pretty much isolated from the rest of the world -- is because a human killed his wife. Imagine how much the Sea King’s narrow world view would open, if a human killed his wife, and yet a different human saved his daughter as well as him. It would prove what Ariel told Triton earlier on -- merpeople aren’t all the same, so why would humans be? It would also foster good feelings between Eric and Ariel’s father, the way Eric’s mother accepted Ariel at the end! in the original, we see Eric bow to Triton and Triton inclining his head respectfully in return, but in the new version, Eric looks nervous when Triton appears.
+The new music...and you know, it breaks my heart to say this. I love Lin-Manuel Miranda’s work, but none of the new songs he wrote for this movie were that memorable, to me. Even Eric’s new song, which is pretty much Evermore fused with Her Voice from the Little Mermaid musical, left me kind of cold, even with how happy I was to hear a Disney prince sing in a LA remake WITHOUT autotune for a change! Goddamn it, Mena Massoud and Dan Stevens!!. Even if you do end up liking them, though, I feel that -- like Speechless in the Aladdin remake -- these new songs don’t blend well with the rest of the songs from the original movie, nor does the score do a good job blending the two disparate styles together. Even though I like the opening scene for what it is, something was really lost in not using the score to communicate time period and location the way the original Little Mermaid score does. Fathoms Below does a better job introducing the sailing ship Eric is on and the culture of the humans on it than the opening scene does on its own -- even though the song is used later when Ariel goes up to the surface, the impact of it being used to set the stage is lost. It’s like having Vuelie first pop up in Frozen during Elsa’s coronation, or like having The Circle of Life first play in The Lion King when Mufasa is teaching Simba about kingship -- the song might be good wherever you first hear it, but its placement setting the stage for the story we’re about to hear is important in both leaving an emotional impact on your audience and in helping tell the story. And considering how much Lin-Manuel obviously loves The Little Mermaid, I’m a little surprised he or Alan Menken didn’t emphasize to the other filmmakers just how much power a strong opening number can have.
+For all of the songs added, there were quite a few places I wish there’d be more! Even if you didn’t want to use Daughters of Triton, couldn’t we at least have some new song where Ariel’s sisters could shine? What about Triton himself? If Only is a beautiful quartet from the musical featuring Sebastian, Triton, Eric, and Ariel -- why not use that, or write something new in that vein? Why couldn’t we have that fun little reprise Vanessa sings in the original about Ursula’s plans, or maybe a variation, since she already crowed out her plan to the audience so early on? Why not have a reprise of that mediocre song of Eric’s when he decides to stop seeking out his mystery girl and tell Ariel how he feels? Where’s our grand musical finale where Ariel and Eric finally get their happily-ever-after?! The very last song in this movie, excluding Under the Sea being reprised in the credits, is Ariel’s second sad reprise after Eric chooses Vanessa!!
+There was also a shocking lack of ensemble singing, in this. Under the Sea and Kiss the Girl are supposed to be dynamic group numbers, largely because Sebastian’s showmanship bleeds out of his every pore and makes other sea creatures flock around him with little effort -- but in this, only Ariel sings along with Sebastian in the first one, while only Flounder and Scuttle sing along with Sebastian in the second. It makes both songs way less exciting than they should be. Add to this that in Under the Sea, the filmmakers almost never bother to show any of the fish discussed in the song on screen, and you’re left with a much smaller and less dynamic performance.
+I wish Ariel’s sisters could’ve played more of a role! It seemed at several points the filmmakers wanted them to be more involved in the family dynamic, such as when they remind Ariel she was too young to remember their mother’s death, but they honestly don’t do very much or leave much of an impact personality-wise.
+The Hans Christian Andersen quote at the beginning sadly ended up completely meaningless in the film, since Triton cries upon saying goodbye to Ariel at the end. You can’t even act like the film was trying to “prove the quote wrong” either, because Triton’s character arc was given so little focus in the story and was so lacking in power compared to the original.
+Ursula’s little secret proviso about Ariel not remembering that she has to kiss Eric...honestly, I don’t think it added a damn thing! Ariel already knows just kissing Eric isn’t enough -- it has to be a Kiss of True Love. The filmmakers went out of their way with the changes to the lyrics of Kiss the Girl to make it clear that Eric should only kiss Ariel when it’d be consensual -- why can’t it be the same way here? Ariel doesn’t want to kiss Eric when he wouldn’t want it either! Even better, why not have Ariel overhear Eric talking about his mystery girl to Grimsley, to the point that Ariel is left wondering if Ursula was right, that the only reason he’s even obsessed with her is her voice, and he didn’t even get the core of what she was singing to him? Not her wanting to connect with him, not her longing to be part of his world? It would give her all the more reason to worry when Vanessa shows up that Eric never truly cared at all and NOT suspect that something’s amiss!
+On the note of Ariel’s voice, there’s special focus put on Ariel supposedly “saving Eric with her song,” but...how?? She saved him by helping him choke up that water and then sang to him as he was waking up! If her voice is supposed to be magical, good, but the filmmakers really should’ve explained that better, because it would definitely give further justification for why Ursula wanted Ariel’s voice and for why she thought Ariel couldn’t charm Eric without it. Perhaps Triton could’ve blown up at Ariel about it, if Sebastian told him everything -- maybe he’d rage that humans never forget a siren’s song, that they’re too simple-minded to fight against them -- that Eric would hunt her down like an animal obsessively or some nonsense? Maybe we could even then have Eric resisting Vanessa’s influence the entire time too, so as to prove this idea wrong -- however strong and magical Ariel’s voice is, Eric’s heart is pure, and his connection with Ariel is strong enough that learning she’s disappeared wakes him up enough to try to fight back against Vanessa’s spell. Maybe even Scuttle could’ve realized that Eric was under a spell by seeing it first-hand -- seeing Eric resist Vanessa’s stolen voice, only to get overpowered temporarily with enough singing! All Vanessa needs is a few hours, after all -- if she can stay right by Eric until the sun sets, she wins.
Overall, the film was kind of a rollercoaster for me. There were parts I was cheering and smiling at, and others I was cringing and frowning at. There were some real high notes, especially regarding our two main leads -- but there were also quite a few sour ones as well. Ariel’s relationship with Eric was developed beautifully, to the point I ship them even more than in the original film...but as a consequence, all of Ariel’s other relationships seemed to suffer. Her friendships with Flounder and Scuttle -- her relationship with Sebastian -- her strained relationship with her father -- even her hero-villain dynamic with Ursula -- all of them are considerably weaker and less engaging and emotional than in the original film, both from a writing and performance standpoint. And yeah, I’m not going to lie, that really hurts the finished product for me. I understand wanting to make likable heroes and romantic couples, but without just as likable of a supporting cast framing them, a movie, show, or even story is just not going to be as likable. I definitely think this live-action adaptation is better than a lot of other ones I’ve seen, and as I said, I strongly recommend seeing this and making your own conclusions...but personally, I can only really celebrate certain aspects of this film, and the original Little Mermaid will always remain my personal preference. I wish Halle Bailey and Jonah Hauer-King the best in everything they do and I can’t wait to see how their careers progress...but sorry, I don’t think the seaweed is greener in this movie’s lake. However fun some of this film’s twists were, I’m happier swimming in more animated waters.
Overall Grade: C+

the way ariel still sings her head bc.. u cannot take her mermaid gifts away from her not truly and completely cause the sea is still part of her!!! even as a human, when she requires comfort, she goes to the sea as she can feel the connection still and her family.
she's an incredibly strong swimmer (She Has A Tail i know this but) and the upper body strength it would've taken to do the thing with turning the ship around in the middle of an underwater tornado thing in a storm with. NO LEGS???? this strength carries over even with legs.
ariel youngest daughter privilege and i know it 😔😔😔 by comparison to her sisters, she gets away with soo much more. he's strict with her but i imagine him destroying her grotto was the first time she's ever been disciplined to a large degree. she's only afraid of him and disappointing him once in a while from what her sisters have told her about his rage. and not only is she the youngest sibling, her mother was triton’s favorite wife and that also results in a lot of ariel favoritism. she has her mother’s voice and reminds her father a lot of her. she’s the daughter that yells back!!
ariel has a necklace to remind her of home, it has a pearl for each of her sisters, tinted to be their respective color, and a small golden conch shell in the middle to represent her father.
eric was ariel’s first romantic interest, and before him she was almost uninterested in romance? she found that she didn’t like that most of the people she knew only saw her for her father, and either pursued her because of it or didn’t because of it. while she loved romance in a daydreamy sort of way, she had never physically experienced it, even while she had developed crushes she’s never acted on. her crushes were normally idealized and romanticized versions of people, and she was quick to try and befriend them, only to realize that she wasn’t interested once she truly got to know them, and nothing ever went further than friendship.
ariel fell in love with eric when she saw him, but it was definitely more the idealized and frankly made up version of him in her head because she didn’t know him at all.
at this point, ariel does not rule over the carinae sea as she has broken all three rules. she is 20 at the time of the movie, while an arguably young 20, but she needs to prove her maturity to her father before he allows her her birthright.
when she does rule, ariel’s kingdom is filled with music and joy. while her father’s palace still resides in the carinae sea, the way she rules is completely different to him. “Princess Ariel is said to rule her kingdom with an endearing kindness, and is beloved by all. In stories, Princess Ariel is revered for her remarkable singing voice and curiosity. She believes in the power of togetherness and unity, and she has a gift for seeing the best in her people.” ariel also does her best to never forbid anything, especially when it comes to learning and exploring, even if/when her people seem to be caused more harm by it than help. she is looked down upon by her father and sisters because they find her to be completely naive. (and, she is in ways, but not to the degree they think) this frustrates ariel and often, while she doesn’t do it on purpose, causes her to listen to their advice even less.
triton’s constant overbearing and overprotective attitude over ariel did not help keep her in line as it did her sisters. she appears to be an outlier, as the rest of her sisters are more ‘tame’, and triton has an almost perception that he did something wrong with her, because she is so different to her sisters.
especially on land but generally as well, ariel has a constant need to touch and stimulate her senses, to a point of social inappropriateness at times.
if ariel’s singing, or even humming, you can hear it from incredible distances, even if she’s just speaking it projects in a way that can seem odd, never too loud when you’re close to her but she is almost always heard. recognizing this and her voice/existence in general is sure to get you a beaming smile, as she was used to having her every thought and want being disregarded by her family and royal staff at the palace.
ariel has an incredibly active imagination, and because of it can stay up for hours into the night, even laying down, thinking of scenarios and ideas and things to explore. she’s also an awesome storyteller.
ariel’s love language is learning <3 teach her anything and she’s immediately looking at with you with the most amazement and trust
ariel appreciates the sea a lot more once she spends time with eric on the surface and learns his fascination with it, as well as her no longer feeling as trapped in it
ariel is very much a darling to the merpeople in the carinae sea, and so a lot of people have suspicions about ariel’s grotto, as well as some have seen it themselves, unbeknownst to her, of course, and have kept it from the sea king.
ariel’s mother, who started her infatuation with humans as she had one herself before her passing, taught her how to read english from a very young age, which is why she’s able to read the books in her grotto.
when her father gives her the blessing of legs, ariel still has her other mermaid abilities, she is not human in any other sense but her legs. triton’s spell allows her to return to the water and her tail whenever she chooses.
honest girl honest girl honest girl ‘i can’t lie to you i won’t’ and she always expects this kind of honesty from others, she will never doubt you unless proven otherwise and even then it has to be strong evidence
ariel doesn’t eat any meat, it’s what her diet was like in the sea and it stays the same on land. it definitely has to do with her discomfort for the human culture for eating fish.
her draw to the boat in the lagoon is because she misses the water!!! even if she doesn’t realize it, she would never be able to remain on land, just for her own sanity, without ever being near water again.
ariel never wears heels again after she finds out that there are other options. she prefers the comfort of sandals or no shoes. if sandals, they are often shoes with little to no support because she doesn’t like how sturdy and firm they can get, it’s uncomfortable.
ariel is a little bit shy about physical intimacy because it’s never been something she’s been interested in before eric, and like frankly i think mermaids are pretty horny so ariel was used to the culture, it was just never something she ever did. when he tried to kiss her, she didn’t try to dodge him on purpose, she just gets a little fidgety and flighty when she’s nervous, and there was a lot going on that she wanted to see.
queen atlanta was her mother (changed from athena) and ariel looks like the near splitting image of her, as well as having her voice. ariel’s mother also had an infatuation with humans, which initially is was drew ariel to them. atlanta would take the family up to the surface, before she died, and while triton was careful about what humans he trusted, and the answer was little to none, atlanta was not. she had many human friends that she visited and trusted to be around her girls. one day while they are out, a boat approaches them rapidly and all of the children make it back into the water, but their mother does not. this raptures triton’s trust with humans completely. in reality, atlanta had befriended a human artist named duncan and posed for paintings. triton allowed this, thinking that humans weren't so bad. however kole, a rival artist, jealous of duncan's success and talent, tries to kill him by letting loose an avalanche, but atlanta, while pushing him out of the way, got crushed by the rocks herself. enraged, triton confronts kole, terrifying him and falls off the cliff. turning his anger to duncan and ready to destroy him, the voice of atlanta appears in the clouds asking triton to spare him. leaving with the unfinished painting of duncan's, he returns to the sea to mourn. ursula had interfered with queen atlanta’s death, pretending to be kole to stir up trouble which resulted in the sea queen’s death.
ariel was incredibly nervous to at eric wouldn’t want her anymore when she came back to him, she thought she had lost him but she knew she had to go back, because she had to see him again even if he didn’t want her.
ariel’s emotions are always displayed on her face, her heart is on her sleeve. she is incredibly easy to read as well as honest.
ariel and eric go on beach picnics frequently where eric brings her new foods to try, and ariel shows him fish that she calls up to the surface to meet them, one that he’s never seen before. any date they go on is a favorite for her because it’s all new, even if she’s been there before with him. she’s incredibly easy to please.
she adores wind chimes, especially those made out of seashells and sea glass, but especially little things she would’ve collected when she lived in the sea, it’s a new collection for her.

Meet my OCs which is Jigoku no Udon Original Storyline made by Me (っ.❛ ᴗ ❛.)っ
(Ex-Creepypasta OCs [Part 1])
Note: I don't want my OCs to be involved to the toxic fandom of #Creepypasta due to a lot of unnecessary issues and scummy weird drippy dipping shits going on there. So I made my Original Storyline of Horror Stories same goes to Beechi-Ween & Project Creep Hood. My Other OCs will be part of the Fandom of SCP Foundation & Slenderverse. that's the only Horror OCs that are part of some specific Fandoms.
Mi Featured Original Character UwU
Death Music AKA Bernice Villamayor
The Story remains Original as it is. Where Slenderman took her as his "Apple of the Eye" (Favorite) Filipina Proxy.
Take Note: Slenderman is not just a Creepypasta but also Universal. So I can make him involved without considering my OC a "Creepypasta" like Even Masky & Hoodie are NOT Creepypasta Fandom Related stated by the Original People said. Even Observer from Tribe Twelve is NOT Creepypasta Related.
Origin Story: The Story goes where Bernice's Bloodline is related to the Ancient Atlantian (People of Atlantis) dated back through Ancient Times. Especially, which hold her a special gift to tame different kinds of Entities. (Just like her cousin El Lala from Mexico, Since Aztecs & Atlantians are in the same race before the Spanish Empire came to both Countries which is Philippines & Mexico). Bernice Villamayor is supposed to be the heir to the throne of the Ancient Filipino Tribe somewhere in Mt. Province located in North Luzon. Yet Bernice's Mother Lauren Villamayor refused to follow her Husband's traditions which is Bernice's Father Marlon Villamayor. So Bernice never had the chance to know her past history of her ancestors and completely oblivious about it.
Mid-Origin Story: When Bernice was a young tween to teen. She does encountered a lot of paranoia & she solemnly swear to God that what she saw was real yet Lauren avoided her questions & neglected her since she was growing up in resulting of Bernice's Perfectionistic Before that she wanted to impress her family with her skills & talents yet nobody cares nor appreciated her except her father Marlon who is always acknowledging her about her unique behavior and antics.
Pre-Proxy Era of Bernice's Origin: Bernice became 16 when she became the most famous Singer-Songwriter & Band Leader known in the Entire Philippines in the Supernova Gang with her fellow Colleagues, Loren Cainta, Ariel Abadines, Candy Florentino, Denise Buena Fuentes, & Tiana Tela with their manager Mr. Jay Marasigan-Gonzales. Due to Bernice's incredible talent of singing & knowing the beat of her Electric Guitar that draws a lot of attention to Millions of Filipino Fans out there. Behind that successful group lies within a dark secret & truth. Mr. Jay Marasigan-Gonzales is a very wealthy Cebuano Businessman who funded most of his legal & illegal trades & goods. Yet he made a terrible mistake when Negotiating with Mr. Slim (Slenderman). Slenderman is been watching Bernice ever since she grew up and he always wanted her for his future agendas and propagandas for the Proxy Community. He gave Mr. Jay a lot of specific Instructions & Orders to make this request.
1st Order: The Creation of the Death Guitar for Bernice Villamayor. Mr. Jay created such powerful Guitar that is Mystical and Deadly. Which is made with Old Narra Planks & Personal Forged Blades came from Japan. It's no Ordinary since it has a lot or rituals & ceremonies to complete such weapon.
2nd Order: The Initiation Process for Bernice to give in to Mr. Slim. (Which Mr. Jay didn't want to) It's not easy for Mr. Jay to give Bernice to Mr. Slim even though he is a professional Human Trafficking Illegal Businessman. When Mr. Jay found out that Mr. Slim was no human, He immediately hid the Death Guitar for a while and told Bernice to ignore messages that she received from her phone with multiple numbers. Little Miss Bernice didn't know anything about everything on what's going on as she encountered a lot of Paranoia, Headaches & Dizziness to the Point sometimes they cancelled the shows cuz of Bernice's sudden illness or Fever. It took a lot of Death Threats & Scandals for Mr. Jay to give up and give Bernice to Mr. Slim so he did write an apology letter that is attached to the Death Guitar when he gave it to Bernice before he was murdered by Bernice herself due to the unsettling Demon Possessions that she didn't even know nor recalled.
During the Proxy Days of Bernice Villamayor: After the Murder Scene, Bernice was in the Lake side somewhere in Lips, Batangas, Philippines. Where she needs to gather her thoughts on what just happened. She was too Naive, Innocent, & Confused. She refused to acknowledge that she murdered her own Manager and was completely unaware about the Demonic Possessions when she used the Death Guitar. This is one of the reasons why Mr. Slim put the blindfold onto her so that she was completely unaware on what she's been doing and let the demons possessed her body for a long time. That simple blindfold puts the "Real" Bernice's soul in sleep mode, making her still Pure & Innocent unaware of her doings when she was possess.
The Issues & Scandals she needed to face during her Proxy Years: When Allysa & Khea aka Sweet Eater & Soldier 999 met Bernice for the last time after her disappearance in Philippines. When they met in Dark Woods in Germany. This is where they were attacked by Bernice when she was completely possessed unaware she's almost killed her childhood friends. Until Khea accidentally removed Bernice's blindfold. This is where Bernice's "Alter Ego" as Death Music is turned off and the Real Bernice wakes up and looked at them cluelessly and innocently not knowing what happened before nor what. Allysa & Khea were worried as they Investigated further about Bernice's disappearance and how she couldn't recall everything from her past. Bernice was stunned as she calculated her age and she was completely not aware that she's already 26 years old. In results of this manner, Bernice's Personality & behavioral traits stayed at the age of 16 while her physical age is 26. Which leads to Bernice a lot of questions & worries on what's gone into her. Until Mr. Slim noticed from the headquarters that Bernice aka Death Music gone missing as he ordered Observer aka Bernice's Baby Sitter to find her immediately. This is where the issue arises when Mr. Slim knew that Bernice's blindfold was removed.
After the issues: After the fight between Mr. Slim & Bernice Villamayor who is trying to protect Khea & Allysa and others as well. Bernice broke her Death Guitar which in result of releasing 10 Thousand Souls & Demons inside of the Guitar and Possessed on her Body permanently all at Once. It took time for Bernice to go neutralize when 3rd Eye aka Caldwell Foyston & Allysa Gonzales who is Sweet Eater worked together to perform a temporary sealed ritual for the Demons not to harm Bernice's Soul inside of her body. Which made her temporarily Blind for a while due to extreme pressure from her body & intensity of the Paranoia situation is.
Detained Years of Bernice Villamayor: Bernice was detained after the incident as Mr. Slim was now overly overprotective towards her, not wanting her to escape since Bernice already knew everything what's going on. She was treated a Prisoner of Mr. Slim's Obsession of Bernice's Supernatural Powers. Knowing that Bernice can really defeat Mr. Slim. At the same time, Observer is been always with Bernice through thick and thin. Now Observer knew who the the real Bernice was as he gets to know her. They secretly fell in love and had a child together name Benson Klein Haas aka Sinister Smiley.
Another Scandal inside of the Headquarters: This is where it gets intense where Mr. Slim was furious that Observer & Death Music were dating and rumors having a first born child. Mr. Slim was too much darker and more sinister as he needs to kill Sinister Smiley when he was a baby. Mr. Slim has a huge plan for Bernice, he wanted to have Bernice as his trophy wife. A wife that he needs to use for sucking the energy out of her in a long run while managing everything in order yet it failed due to Observer. Observer was furious as he took his son away and gave it to Glow Fire & Firebrand Somewhere in the Boundaries of North Korea & Russia.
The Birth of Mr. Creep Face: Bernice's 2nd Son which is the First Born of Mr. Slim. Bernice's died due to Pregnancy Birth due to the intensity & the pressure of the situation is, Bernice couldn't make it as the Demons inside of her she couldn't control any longer. Mr. Slim was devastated about her death because he knew Bernice will die when she has a 2nd child, he blamed Observer for everything until the Proxy Community created a lot of Divisions which made things more chaotic. This is where Project Creep Hood was born which is the Next Generational Gore Core Elites continues striving for the war against Mr. Slim. Which Sinister Smiley is the leading role of the Association. The goal is to kill the impossible & face his half brother Mr. Creep Face for the greater good.
This is why this is related to Time Lapse aka the only son of Sinister Smiley. Time Lapse was completely Oblivious on what's going on in the past especially his father's past since he doesn't know everything about him since he lived ever since in the orphanage. This is where Mr. Slim return and gain revenge to end the Family Bloodline of Observer-Bernice's. Mr. Slim is responsible killing Time Lapse's Adopted Daughter name Samantha Nicole. But the thing is, When Time Lapse travelled back in time just to change things over. Mr. Slim realize that he killed the wrong child because Samantha wasn't the Biological daughter of Time Lapse.
Note: The Story goes on & on & on. The reason why Mr. Slim's Obsession grows stronger about killing the first born child who is in the lineage of Observer-Bernice's is because these people are "Powerful" and they are the only ones whoever since destined & knew everything what's up. She has the power to end Mr. Slim's Regimen. Who is Skull Sully aka Erika Kryza (The Eldest Daughter of Armless Ellie & Time Lapse). Skull Sully is part of the Beechi-Ween Original Storyline who is enemies with Mr. Creep Face aka her Grand Uncle.
Reminder: More Upcoming Storylines coming up in this OC Category! Stay tuned OwO

[07 Ariel and Summer - i know nothing about the film outside of it's a Hockey Film xD i just feel like it's always a surprise when Ariel mentions something not ocean related xD]
"So I watched the Mighty Ducks the other day," Ariel mutters, looking Summer's way, "Contain yourself Sums, I know, I watched a movie that wasn't the Little Mermaid, we're all as surprised as you are," Ariel claims, already anticipating comments, "Anyway, it's a film about Hockey...that's all I can tell you cause it was kinda bad, and I know nothing about Hockey, so like, probably didn't help," She shrugs, "Honestly, I think it's something Hockey related even you and Uncle Case wouldn't enjoy."
This may or may not also be an invitation for Summer to go on a deep dive about the sport. Hey, if Ariel makes Summer put up with her mermaid rants, it's only fair she tries to listen to one of Summer's own Hockey spiels.
| muse interaction
Don't get Summer wrong she loved her cousin, she dose, heck, she tends to see them as her sister and not her cousin. They were basically inseparable. Glued to the hip. Two peas in a pod. Seen near about like the next set of twins of the family even. Heck their parents spent a lot of time together so much so Summer saw her Uncle Donatello and Aunt Yvonne like a father and mother figure respective. If she couldn't go to her own Dad's for something she had them to go to as well and she knew she could that with out any worry or fear like with her own Dad's. So it was pretty normal for Summer to spend weekends with them and yeah the same went the other way they would keep Ariel for a weekend as well. Let the girls see each other and freed up the parents for some alone time and a break from their own gremlin. Which Summer loved. She loved having her cousin over she loved going over to see them, heck she would make trips through out the week to hang out with Ariel. Ariel was clearly her best friend she told her everything trusted her with any thought that crossed her empty skull time to time. Good or bad. They always had a blast together, Summer would strum on her guitar and Ariel would sing. They talk for hours and that where the issue streamed from.
How many times can one person talk about the same movie in such deep details that Ariel went into. Summer wished it was only the movie actually. But no it was anything related to it as well Summer swore she knew more about the movie than the old fogies who made it at this point. As she laid over her bed. Head resting over the side of the bed so dyed blue hair could spill down behind her letting the blood rush to her head as Ariel had been going on another tangent about the little mermaid.
Honestly it was impressive how no matter how much time had passed she just seemed to find more and more to love about the movie. Or anything in relation to it like apparently there was a Broadway show of it? Summer might love music but musicals weren't her thing. They were a bit too cheesy and boring and the idea of people just popping into song and everyone going along with it even down to full dance numbers and it was just normal? Yeah a whole street full of cars and such just stopped cause someone had to sign out their feelings? In the real New York they would get their handed to them for trying to make the traffic worse than it already was. It was why Summer had been replaying the game from the night before in her head.
Now that she got Sports! Sports were fun, and the best one was clearly hockey. It wasn't just a sport being a sport fan was so much more than sitting down and watching the teams play no! There was so much more to that! You were a commuinty with your team and true fans stuck it out no matter what. Through every loss and every win. Not like the stupid band wagoners who only cared when the Rangers were having a great streak and on the road to the Stanley Cup-
"So I watched the Mighty Ducks the other day,"
Summer's mind went blank at the mention a moment. Mostly because Ariel watching something other than the little mermaid? More importantly a movie Summer knew pretty well and loved even. Soon she was sitting right up face a bit red from letting it hang over the side so long but she was used to her head feeling light. Mouth ready to open when Ariel was quick to cut her off seeing she had Summer's attention.
"Contain yourself Sums, I know, I watched a movie that wasn't the Little Mermaid, we're all as surprised as you are,"
"Well it ain't funn if ya point it out Ari," Summer grumbles openly as she moves to cross her legs over her bed, elbows to her legs as she holds her hands to prop up her head a moment Still listening to see why Ariel brought it up in the first place.
"Anyway, it's a film about Hockey...that's all I can tell you cause it was kinda bad, and I know nothing about Hockey, so like, probably didn't help,"
"kinda bad?" Summer asks in pure and utter disbelief! what did she mean it was kind of bad! A movie about the underdogs banding together learning to be a team even the damn coach who like a major dick at the start of it all! Some dumb dick getting pulled over for being drunk and forced to coach this hockey team he could care less about but grew to care about! He even got fried for the team! and Ariel said it was bad! It was like the biggest insult to Summer's whole being in the moment. Likely why she happened spoke a word just letting her mouth hang open and her brow scrunch up in utter disbelief.
"Honestly, I think it's something Hockey related even you and Uncle Case wouldn't enjoy."
"First off ya 'ight an' we do. Dad, pop's an' watch all three of them pretty often. Sometimes we marathon the three movies. second off!" now her tone is shifting as she moves to get off the bed making way towards the shelf's in her room.
They were covered in all sort of a mess, stay things she set on them with the intention to put it away later. Only to find a new place on the shelf. Mostly it was where she kept all her memorabilia signed hockey pucks, her binder of cards some bobble heads of her favorite players and more miscellaneous items that she found related to hockey that she felt was good enough for her collectjon. But it was also where the families copies of the Might Duck Movies lived. Summer easily unearthed them from behind a practice mess jersey she tossed there and empty cans of monster.
"You are so wrong! they ain't bad an' ya don' need ta know nothin' 'bout hockey to get 'em." And now Summer was the one ready to go off about a movie. Holding up the three VHS cases in her cousins face "Cause it ain't 'bout the game! It's about the team! 'hat's what matters! ya can have the top players in any team and sure they may still be fine and do jus' enough ta keep 'em in the news and spot light on 'em BUT a team is more than good players an' 'hats what these show ya Ari! A dick head dude down on his luck made ta do community service he got no intention on actually doin' his job as a coach for the team. Dude don' even care 'bout helpin' them practice and all the kids they suck they are awful they need the direction they jus' wanna play though! But were told they can' cause they suck! which yeah they do but that ain't the point! So they all a bunch of losers stuck on the loser team expected just be 'hat and they ready to give up toss in the towel but dick head coach changes and decides maybe they could win! and fins out what each kids good at and how they can make it work cause they all still 'ike the game enough-"
This must be what it's like when Ariel's going one and on about the little mermaid but this was different Summer was defending her movie! Because her cousin dared to say it was bad! You'd swear she said the Rangers sucked with how amendment Summer was defending the film right now. "An' if it were bad why they make two more!? Granted the second one ain't as good but the third finished off strong! They even got actual NHL players to show up in the movies! Hell there even an actually Mighty Ducks team in Anaheim cause the films did good! Sure the name was changed in the 07 season to the Anaheim Ducks but they won the Stanly Cup that same year!!" Somewhere along the line summer forgot her own point here. "Ya know what we call 'hat?! We call 'hat heart! The movies got heart all three of them even the second!"
One would swear Ariel insulted her cousin with how she was actting right now. "Know what it is Ari? Ya jus' didn' watch it with the 'ight crowd clearly or ya knkw how fuckin' great these movies are! Oh!" An idea formed into Summer's head "seein' as it's movie night I think it only fittin' we make it a marathon night!" Summer declares making way for the door of her room to go tell her dad's the very same.
"Oh well go all out too! Make it full fun get 'ike press cause they look 'ike pucks an' put out the hockey shape bowl we got. Ya in for a great start to the weekend!" Any objections Ariel might give pr even have were very pointless and promptly ignored on Summer's end. "Hey Dad! Pops!" Os the last she has to say sealing her cousins face for the night.
#muse| summer jones#madamkezzie#aflockoffeathers#[ sister from another mister aflockoffeathers]#[ 07 verse]#muse interacction#ic reply#stayed qeued#((summer never been more insulted in her whole life Ariel now you're gonna deal with an tanget on a disey film uwu))#((also thiers a podcast series with 200 epsiodes on the triolgy of movies I didnt mention it but Summer probs listens to it XD))

“Toward a City That Sings” by June Jordan
Into the topaz the crystalline signals of Manhattan the nightplane lowers my body scintillate with longing to lie positive beside the electric waters of your flesh and I will never tell you the meaning of this poem: Just say, ‘She wrote it and I recognize the reference.’ Please let it go at that. Although it is all the willingness you lend the world as when you picked it up the garbage scattering the cool formalities of Madison Avenue after midnight (where we walked for miles as though we knew the woods well enough to ignore the darkness) although it is all the willingness you lend the world that makes me want to clean up everything in sight (myself included)
for your possible discovery
“Primitive Eyes” by Alejandra Pizarnik
Where fear neither speaks in stories or poems, nor gives shape to terrors or triumphs.
My name, my pronoun — a grey void.
I’m familiar with the full range of fear. I know what it’s like to start singing and to set off slowly through the narrow mountain pass that leads back to the stranger in me, to my own emigrant.
I write to ward off fear and the clawing wind that lodges in my throat.
And in the morning, when you are afraid of finding yourself dead (of there being no more images): the silence of compression, the silence of existence itself. This is how the years fly by. This is how we lost that beautiful animal happiness.
“Summer Goodbyes” by Alejandra Pizarnik
The soft rumor of spreading weeds. The sound of things ruined by the wind. They come to me as if I were the heart of all that exists. I would like to be dead, and also to go inside another heart.
“Postapocalyptic Heartbeat” by Saeed Jones
I. Drugged, I dreamed you a plume of ash, great rush of wrecked air through the towns of my stupor. And when the ocean in your blood went toxic, I thought fire was what we needed: serrated light through the skin, grenade in the chest—pulled linchpin. I saw us breathing on the other side of after. But a blackout is not night; orange-bottled dreams are not sleep. II. I was a cross-legged boy in the third lifetime, empire of blocks in my lap while you walked through the door of your silence, hunting knife in one hand, flask in the other. I waited for you until I forgot to breathe, my want turning me colors only tongues of amaryllis could answer for. It owned me, that hunger, tendriled its way into my name for you. III. In a city made of rain each door, a silence; each lock, a mouth, I walked daily through the spit-slick streets, harbingers on my hands in henna: there will be no after Black-and-blue-garbed strangers, they called me Cassandra. (I had such a body then.) Umbrellas in hand, they listened while they unlistened. there will be no no. after
the world will end no.
you are the reason it no. ends
you no. IV. I didn’t exactly mean to survive myself. Half this life I’ve spent falling out of fourth-story windows. Pigeons for hair, wind for feet. Sometimes I sing “Stormy Weather” on the way down. Today, “Strange Fruit.” Each time, strangers find me drawing my own chalk outline on the sidewalk, cursing with a mouth full of iron, furious at my pulse. V. After ruin, after shards of glass like misplaced stars, after dredge, after the black bite of frost: you are the after, you are the first hour in a life without clocks; the name of whatever falls from the clouds now is you (it is not rain), a song in a dead language, an unlit earth, a coast broken— how was I to know every word was your name?
“Coming Back from Seeing Your People” by Alice Walker
Coming back From seeing your people You were So wonderfully Full Of yourself.
But now You have supped With vampires They have fed Feasted On you.
They arise Bright-eyed Fit.
You alone have lost Not only Your sleep But also Your glow The luster of Affection Heart welcome Your people Sent home With you.
Beloved You must learn To walk alone To hold The precious Silence To bring home And keep the precious Little That is left Of yourself.
“Edward the Confessor” by Eileen Myles
I have a confession to make I wish there were some role in society I could fulfill I could be a confessor I have a confession to make I have this way when I step into the bakery on 2nd Ave. of wanting to be the only really nice person in the store so the harried sales woman with several toned hair will like me. I do this in all kinds of stores, coffee shops xerox shops, everywhere I go. And invariably I leave my keys, xeroxing, my coffee from the last place I am being so nice. I try so hard to make a great impression on these neutral strangers right down to the perfect warm smile I get entirely lost and stagger back out onto the street, bereft of something major. It’s really leaning too hard on the everyday. My mother was the kind of woman who dragging us into stores always seemed to charm the pants off the cashier. She was such a great person, so human though at home she was such a bitch, I mean really distant. I imitate her and I don’t do it well. She didn’t leave her wallet or us in a store. I’m just a pale imitation it is simply not my style to open the hearts of strangers to my true personhood. I hope you accept this tiny confession of what I am currently going through. And if you are experiencing something of a similar nature tell someone, not me, but tell someone. It’s the new human program to be in. It would be nice for at least these final moments if we could sigh with the relief of being in the same program with all the other humans whispering in school. I can’t quite locate the terror, but I am trying to be my mother or Edward the Confessor smiling down on you with up-praying hands. I am looking down at the tips of my boots as I step across the balcony of the church excited to be allowed to say these things. Outside my church is a relationship. On 11th street this guy and this woman are selling the woman so they can get more dope. All their things are there, rags and loaves of bread and make-up. And there was— this was incredible. Two men lying by the door of the church giving each other blow-jobs. They were sort of street guys, one black one white. I said hey you can’t do that here. They jumped up, one spit come out of his mouth. If you don’t get out of here I’ll call the cops. Don’t call the cops we’ll go, we’ll leave. That was a shock. That was more than I expected to see in a day. Something about seeing the guy spit come out of his mouth. He didn’t have to do that. I guess I scared him. I couldn’t believe my eyes. I was scared too.

Tom Holland - Our fairytale
Is this another disney-Tom fic? Yes it it. I’m masking my inactivity with another piece of fluff in Disney World. If you like this one, make sure to check Lost kid and True love kiss.
Plot: that story where two characters of a movie fall in love, or in this case two actors portraying those characters fall in love, even if they don’t belong to the same fairy tale
or
Tom is prince Eric and you’re Belle, and he’s just a jealous bean.
“Mommy, mommy! It’s prince Eric!”
A little red haired girl, that was probably wearing a wig not that well put, pulled her mother’s hand behind her and gripped harder the drawings’ book she has been carrying around all day. Her objective had been clear since she had woken up that morning; to meet all the characters that appeared in her drawings and make them sign the pictures. She had too a purple princess dress with small seashells and a small purse that was all decoration.
Tom kneeled down just as the girl reached him. Her eyes looked as if they could burst out of their pockets, jumping up and down in the spot of excitement. The mother, a middle age woman that looked done with the whole park, gave Tom a side glance to check he was no depredator and took her phone with her free hand.
“Hi!” she screeched, loud even above all the noise of the park that day. “I’m Marleen!”
“Oh, what a beautiful name!” Tom said in a high-pitched voice. “And what a beautiful girl!”
“Thanks” she giggled and twisted her body around the mother’s hand. “This is not my real hair, my mommy bought it for me”
“Well, it’s really pretty” Tom smiled warmly. “Are you enjoying your day in the park?”
The question led to a monologue from the little girl about all the characters she had met so far, and a thoughtful look through her drawings. Her smile was easily contagious, and Tom didn’t mind staying 20 long minutes under the sun, crutched in front of that cute girl. He commented every drawing and even made up some stories about the characters in them. The mother kept herself to the phone, not listening to the conversation, and Tom felt himself traveling to a different world.
Every time a kid asked for him, he left the rest of his life aside and became Eric, the prince of the little mermaid that had a charming smile and lived with Ariel in a big palace. Tom had been working as that character for almost five months, and he never got tired. There were too many good things that came with it; the smiles, the excitement and the fantasy he got to live meanwhile.
He was in the middle of a story about Ursula when Marleen seemed to see something behind him, and before he got time to turn around, she had already recovered and emitted another loud screech.
“Belle!!”
Tom was suddenly pushed aside when Marleen rushed past him and attached herself to another person’s legs. He didn’t have to look up to know it was you who had stolen the attention of the girl, but he wasn’t at all afraid. Once more, the mother looked poorly interested in the situation, and went back to her previous business after checked who was her daughter talking to.
Again, Marleen presented herself and explained who she was dressed as. You looked as interested as Tom in the story, though Tom ignored it in favour of staring at you. You were wearing a beautiful pale yellow dress that fell down your legs, barely touching the ground. There was a flashy necklace on your chest and a pearly ring on your finger. You weren’t the princess that used more make-up, yet Tom thought the soft red lipstick and the barely there Rimmel was perfect.
“Can you sign my drawing too?” Marleen asked, already opening her book. She shoved it in front of you and turned to look at Tom. “My friends are going to be so envious! I’m gonna tell them I met Belle and prince Eric!”
“If you are quick, you can meet Cinderella in the main square” you said as you scribbled on the page. “I heard she has brought some special friends with her”
“Mommy did you hear that?!?”
Tom barely noticed her arms circling around his legs before she took off running again, her mother screaming behind her. He chuckled as the pair disappeared in the sea of the people. It was only mid-day, and if they were thinking about staying until close-up time, he doubted the mother would be able to keep up.
A soft hand made its way to his, sneaking as if it was a secret. And in part, it was; because prince Eric was supposed to be with Ariel, and you had strict orders about sticking to the characters until the end of the day. You rubbed your face against his blue jacket, half wishing you would be alone at the moment.
Finally, Tom intertwined your hands together and gave yours a small squeeze. Your break was close, and if you were lucky you could still find some spot in the shadow to hide from the torturous sun.
“I was watching you way before she noticed me, you know” you mumbled, pressing yourself even closer to him. “You’re so good with them, and you look so cute”
“I’m not cute, I’m carrying a sword and I’m a prince” Tom chuckled, not moving from his spot. “You’re amazing, too. And beautiful – god, I swear they might want to remake the film and change the ending, because I can’t take my eyes off you with that dress”
“Aren’t you a gentleman, my prince. Do you say that to every princess here?”
“Only you. And Cinderella, of course”
You smacked his arm playfully, and in return, you were met with his lips on you. If someone saw you, you would probably have a lot of problems with your boss. He was very, very strict on the no-dating policy, or at least not kissing in the park.
Instead of pushed him away, you put your other hand across his chest and started playing with the black buttons of the vest he was wearing. Both of you were sweaty and spending time of your break, that was already short. Yet Tom didn’t push you away either, just angled his head so that the kiss wasn’t that awkward. He resisted the urge to stretch himself on the tip toes because you were taller than him, wearing just a small heel.
You pulled back when oxygen became short, and Tom just leaned again to peck your lips, swallowing your giggled.
“What’s got you so clingy?” you managed to say between quick kisses. “Someone’s gonna see us”
“And they won’t care, they’ve have seen us before” Tom pressed his lips against you once more.
“No, really” you pushed him a little bit. “Everything good?”
“Yeah, everything good. Just missed you, darling”
“Since this morning?” you raised an eyebrow when you got the idea why Tom was that clingy. “Or since you learned that I have a show today?”
Tom scoffed for an answer and you knew you were right. You both had talked about it – that you had to kiss other people for the job, and even act romantic about them. While in a normal day you didn’t have to do much with your partner, every week a Disney movie would get a show in the main castle of the park, and that week was Beauty and the Beast. Dancing, singing, wearing costumes – and following the original story, that said that Belle and Beast kissed at the end of the show.
He wasn’t really angry, he never was. And neither was you when he had to swoop Ariel off her feet and kiss her while fireworks ran behind them. But you had your days where it was hard, and Tom had a hard time saying he was jealous of a man who wore the Beast costume.
“You can always fight him with that sword of yours” you smiled at the blush on his cheeks. “But it might turn out bad, since it’s made of plastic”
“Shut up” Tom croaked out, confidence gone. “I have every right to be jealous, you’re kissing him almost every day! And – he get to slow dance with you, and kiss you, and –“
“And you’re the one who goes back home with me when the show is over” you interrupted him before he got carried away. “We can slow dance in the living room, and we kiss all the time even if we can get in trouble for it. You don’t have to be jealous”
Tom didn’t say anything else, just looked away. He knew you were right, that he didn’t have any right to be jealous and that he was pushing it by kissing you in the park. But at the same time, his brain was having a hard time walking past the need of hugging you close and flipping it off in the distance to the guy who played the Beast.
“If you want to, after the show we can go out for dinner. Tomorrow is our free day” you wrapped yourself around Tom, noses touching again.
“As long as I get to pick you up from the dressing room”
“As long as you don’t glare too much at Michael and don’t flip him off again” you half joked, thinking about how in your last show Tom had been giving your partner the puppy, angry eyes the whole time.
“Then we’re getting pizza and we’re watching a movie” Tom finished, kissing you once more, quick, time. “And I’m choosing everything”
“You’re lucky I love you”
If Marleen, the little girl that had been talking to Tom, saw Belle and prince Eric kissing and holding hands, she didn’t say anything. She just watched with an excited smile how them both leaned for a kiss once more, truly believing that she was a princess and would find his own prince.

Curiosity or More?
****This one is lengthier but I find to be fairly decent for not writing for over a year. But I hope you guys enjoy it and comment some feedback and give me some requests.****
Summary: Y/n was the daughter of the infamous Cordelia Goode, though that gave her a title she never liked it as her mother never batted an eye at the poor girl lately. That all changes when she attends the meeting at Hawthorne and she meets the Boy Wonder who isn’t the only one with secrets.
Hawthorne!Michael x reader, Outpost!Michael x reader
__________________________________________
To say you weren’t the least bit curious as to who the so called “Boy Wonder” is would be an understatement. Regardless of what your aunt Myrtle and mother Cordelia say. You know your mother was on edge when Hawthorne called a meeting.
“We’ve taken in a boy recently who we thought was another warlock in need of our help and training.” Ariel spoke.
“And?” questioned Zoe.
I chuckled quietly, earning a glare from my mother of course.
“The things he’s done are extraordinary. We ran some tests and his powers are of supreme level.” Ariel exclaimed.
“Do you really believe this? No man has ever come even close to coming to that level. Men simply aren’t equal to a woman in the means to be supreme.” she was infuriated.
My mother immediately denied any idea of a male being the supreme. She couldn’t bare it. She’d had enough. She stormed us out of Hawthorne only to be met with Queenie and Madison alive and well alongside the boy. As great as it was to see them, my mother fainting was the icing on the cake.
“I need to see him.” my mother spoke once awake.
“I was trying to get your attention.” he spoke softly.
“Well you certainly did.” my mother stated. “He will perform the seven wonders.”
I don’t know what it is about him but i’m drawn toward him. The way he looks of an angel but yet his eyes tell of something dark and corrupted. The way he carries himself shows a confident man yet terrified little boy. I was determined to get to know the Boy Wonder, Michael.
You spot him on the balcony eyeing everyone yet not at all amused by Stevie’s singing as he had performed all of the seven wonders not too long ago impressing my mother even more with bringing back Misty Day. I feel this would now be the time to introduce yourself on a more personal level.
“Not into all things Stevie, I take it?” you spoke startling him a bit.
“If it weren’t so obvious i’d say no, but yes.” he retorted. “I was genuinely impressed today, no male has ever had such supreme level power.” you said.
“Well I'm glad I impressed such a gorgeous creature like yourself.” He smiled.
“You aren’t so bad yourself Boy Wonder.” you winked.
“Michael.” he said. “My name is Michael. Michael Langdon.”
“Y/n, my name is Y/n. And I do apologize for my mother’s behaviour towards you. It came as a shock to us all.” you said.
“Your mother?” he said in shock.
“I’m afraid, I am Y/n Y/m/n Goode. Daughter of the Supreme, Granddaughter to our former.” you spoke honestly.
“Well miss supreme did do a fine job creating you.” he said flirtatiously eyeing you up and down.
You blushed.
“Do tell princess, I bet mommy dearest is a thrill to live with.” he joked.
“Trust me, she isn’t anything special. I’d say more of a snob, cares about everyone else before her own daughter.” you rolled your eyes.
“She can’t be that bad can she?” he questioned.
“I don’t believe we have the time to discuss all things Cordelia.” you crossed your arms.
“I’m sure we can make time.” he smiled.
Fast forward to now, where I stand looking toward Michael as he and the infamous Miss Mead stood before my mother and the rest of us. He really was a gift from god, or should I say the devil. I cannot wait to run my fingers through those golden locks. I looked from my mother to the others than Michael, he gave me the look of approval and that was all I needed to run to his side planting the hottest kiss ever. To say the look on my mother’s face gave me joy was an understatement, I was beyond thrilled when she saw me walk to Michael’s side even better when I kissed him.
“Y/f/n what is the meaning of this?!” my mother shouted.
“Well mother, while you were off excluding me from everything you had planned I figured I’d do my own.” you blurted back.
“So siding with the enemy was the right thing to do?” she exclaimed.
Michael chuckled watching the showdown between mother and daughter.
“You never once included me in anything, I've done so much for you. So fucking much and I don’t even get a simple thank you? You are by far the worst mother there is.” you were furious at this point. Michael could tell so he took over.
“Dearest Cordelia. What a shame it is for you to find out this way, but I do intend to keep your daughter till the end of time. And she is willingly doing so as she was the one to come with all of this.” he gestured around. “Y/n is smart, the smartest person I have ever met and you clearly have not seen that, I shall ask you all to bow down to give yourself the pleasure of our allegiance and we shall spare your poor meaningless lives.” he demanded.
“This is your last chance mother, your last chance to finally see me for me, just pledge your allegiance and all the past hatred will go away.” you reasoned.
“NO. I am sorry my child but I will not bow down to some little boy who has no idea what being a leader means.” your mother spat.
“Then you leave me no choice.” you backed away.
You were angry. Angry at the fact that your own mother picked those pathetic witches over her own daughter. She never noticed how advanced you were at spells how you’d always be ahead of everyone by a long shot. She had her focus on Mallory when it really should have been you. Her flesh and blood. You set fire to each one of your mother’s precious witches. One by one each turned to a pile of ash.
“Why are you doing this?” she cried.
“Because mother, you never once were there for my accomplishments. Every time I perfected a spell or ritual. I was alone.” you cried angry tears. “I wish you cared like you say but it’s too late.”
You felt deep within you the love for your mother slip away as you set her on fire, hearing every scream and plea release from her body. Not caring one bit.
“I’m the next fucking supreme.” you screamed at her ashes.

disney’s ‘the hunchback of notre dame’, early 2000s kid nostalgia, and other midnight musings
“What the fuck, Stina? I thought this was a blog for book reviews!” you say.
“Books, amongst other things. Hence the -ish suffix,” I say. “And all my mediocre ‘reviews’ are hit-or-miss in terms of engagement, so I’m pretty much free to post whatever the fuck I want.”
I toss my head. My hair whacks me in the face.
The first time I watched Disney’s The Hunchback of Notre Dame was been circa 2006, in the ‘movie room’ of my preschool, huddled around a CRT TV with the rest of my five-year-old classmates. Not much about the film particularly stood out to me at the age.
Fast-forward fifteen years later; I’m cooped up in quarantine, hundreds of thousands of miles away from that first viewing. I’m living my best life, rejoicing in my introverted tendencies and having a laugh at the expense of all the suffering extroverts. I haven’t moved from my bed all day, except for the bare necessities, and I’m bingeing YouTube videos. All is well.
I discovered Lindsay Ellis’s channel quite recently- embarrassingly enough, through her videos on Omegaverse and the whole Addison Cain fiasco. I stumbled down the rabbit-hole of her channel, and here I am, a few dozen videos later, and I find her one on this film.
Which, of course, led me to want to re-watch the film, with the eyes and mind (supposedly) of an adult. And it went far beyond and above my expectations.
The film is dark, much darker than the average Disney film of today- not just thematically, but the graphics too. Except for the first parts with the Festival of Fools and the last scene, the rest seems to have a dark filter put over it all. Obviously, given its themes (I’m pulling these out of my arse; I’m a STEM major and I have zero to no knowledge about film) of freedom and equality, acceptance of those different from us, corruption and lust- all that good shit, in other words- you can’t exactly have sunshine and rainbows. But it’s such a stark contrast from what I’ve been accustomed to from Disney; Frozen has Hans about to decapitate Elsa, but the background remains bright and light; Simba sobbing next to Mufasa’s body in The Lion King is heart-wrenching, but a few scenes later, we have an anthropomorphic meerkat-boar duo singing about eating bugs and farting and all that classy stuff, so it’s not as traumatizing.
The themes are a lot more on-the-nose than a lot of other kids’ movies (forgive me if I err, I am aged and forgetful)- cue la Esmeralda saying, “What do they have against people who are different, anyway?”- you get what’s essentially the same ‘accept others regardless of their differences’, ‘prejudice is bad’ morals from, say, Zootopia, but having given the main characters fursuits makes it less obvious than in this movie.
(Or maybe I’m just a dumbass. I have no elaborate notes for this; I’m high on sugar and deprived of sleep so I might be spewing bullshit.)
Admittedly, the resolution is a bit… unrealistic. The citizens of Paris = sheep, essentially; they go from throwing fruit in Quasimodo’s face because the guards started it, to helping defeat them. Maybe there’s something about mob mentality in there, but I find it hard to believe that people who showed up to watch Esmeralda burn to death were suddenly totally cool with not getting what they didn’t pay for. But then again, this is a Disney movie, and you can’t make kids too cynical too early on. Let them have their innocence and ‘people will be with the heroes in times of peril because humanity is inherently good!’ before they realize that humanity kinda fuckin’ sucks.
The characters are some of the most human from those I’ve seen in Disney (other honorable mentions: the main characters of The Emperor’s New Groove, Moana, Tangled, Anna from Frozen). Quasimodo’s the main character (lol DUH, will I ever say anything not obvious?), and he’s so lovable, but not without flaws- he’s biased against gypsies in the beginning because Frollo’s the literal scum of the earth. To borrow from the K-pop fans’ dictionary: UwU he’s so pure!
Esmeralda sparks a bit of controversy because she’s another POC leading lady from a Disney film of the 90’s (a list including Jasmine, and, sigh- Pocahontas) who’s markedly more sexualized than the white Disney princesses. It’s not something I particularly noticed nor cared about until I saw it being brought up- I mean, the woman shows a bit of cleavage and then dances for a couple of seconds- but. I’m just putting that out there.
She’s an empowering heroine without having to belt in in your face (not me making a dig at Naomi Scott’s Jasmine from the Aladdin live action film), and I also love how her role in taking down the Big Bad doesn’t have to do with her ‘power of seduction’ (the scene in the animated Aladdin film where Jasmine kissed Jafar truly traumatized me as a kid).
Phoebus is… well, he exists. Kind of a Regulus Black archetype, but not exactly. The guy on the bad side who turns good and all is forgiven. Well, at least it’s not the ‘her love made him a better man’ trope. And he is a good guy. Even if he did spend a considerable amount of his adult years on the side of the bad guys.
Systemic oppression? Nah, it’s one or two corrupt baddies. But again, it’s a Disney film, we need everything to work out for the good guys in the end.
Let’s get the gargoyles out of the way. To reference Lindsay Ellis’s video (she’s a lot smarter than I am and breaks this down better than I ever could): yes, the comedy’s oft ill-timed and inappropriate… for an adult audience. And the primary demographic of Disney films, especially princess ones (obviously Esmeralda isn’t a princess, nor does she marry into royalty, nor is she included in the group of princesses in the dumpster fire that is Ralph Breaks the Internet, but I had a book imaginatively titled ‘Disney Princess Stories’ as a kid that included Esmeralda’s story alongside Belle’s and Ariel’s, so I’m calling her a princess), are kids. And kids love fart jokes.
Additionally, I have a theory-that-is-not-really-a-theory-but-a-pretty-obvious-thing-that-happens that the gargoyles are figments of Quasimodo’s imagination, and the, at times crass and ridiculous things they say are just the voices in Quasimodo’s head (THIS IS OBVIOUS, STINA, YOU HAVEN’T STUMBLED ACROSS A STARTLING NEW REVELATION); maybe what he imagines normal townspeople to act like.
And then we have Judge Judy Chrissy Teigen Frollo. This dude is the embodiment of pure evil. He’s bigoted and rapey and abusive and one of Disney’s most successful villains- even better than Mother Gothel, who previously held the crown. It’s rare that a villain genuinely terrifies me, especially a cartoon one. Frollo, unlike your typical fairytale antagonist who wants power/fame/fortune/to overthrow Olympus, is far more sinister; driven from deep-rooted hatred instead of plain greed. He’s so much closer to people in positions of power and authority even in the modern world, and that element of reality makes him so much better as an antagonist instead of a literal sheep who hates carnivores (seriously, Disney, enough with the twist villains- they’re not working out).
Also, Hellfire slaps. In fact, the entire soundtrack does.
Speaking about Hellfire, I love the contrast between that and Heaven’s Light; how Esmeralda is viewed by Frollo (an object to possess, “Destroy Esmeralda, and let her taste the fires of hell; or else, let her be mine and mine alone”) as opposed to Quasimodo (someone with free will, “I dare to dream that she might even care for me”).
Another argument brought up, and admittedly one I had as a child was, ‘but if the whole point of the movie is acceptance and love as opposed to lust, why didn’t Quasimodo get the girl?’ Which, years later, I realize is an extremely misogynistic way to look at it. As Princess Jasmine said four years before The Hunchback was released, she is not a prize to be won. Quasimodo is Frollo’s antithesis; he lets Esmeralda choose, and she chose Phoebus. And Quasimodo accepted that, because he is good and kind and sweet and loving. Severus Snape, take note.
On a sidenote, I’m always kind of caught out of left field when the plot in films moves really fast- I’m really not a movie-watching type; I prefer to read, and books usually indicate how much time passes from one main plot point to another, and there are little slice-of-life, filler parts that tie in to character development and moving the plot forward, but at a snail’s pace. So, whenever I’m watching a movie and it’s one important event after another, I usually haven’t had enough of a refractory period to process it.
Let’s pretend that I segued smoothly into the next part of this (already tedious and long drawn out) review.
The Hunchback is the darkest film I’ve ever seen come out from Disney. Re-watching it as an adult made me pause every so often and wonder why the hell I wasn’t traumatized by it as a kid. I mean, the whole movie kicks off with Frollo about to throw an infant down a well. And then there’s that horrifying shot of the stone renditions of the Israelite kings on the church walls. Frollo falls to his death into fire. I mean, good riddance, but still. I guess it’s because the kids’ shows of today are awfully censored and polished so kids don’t have nightmares forevermore.
Update: tried to watch The Hunchback of Notre Dame 2. Exited just as fast as I clicked on it. Disney sequels really ain’t shit (yes, I’m looking at you, Frozen 2).

Warnings: swearing, Disney princess (y’all I think this is hilarious as a warning), smutty thoughts and smut at the end
_________________________________
You weren’t exactly sure how you got to bed that night but you presume it had been Bucky that had carried you, the two of you had ended up watching another few episodes of Criminal Minds before staying up for a while just talking. No nightmares tonight, you just couldn’t sleep well and this was not new to you since a good night's sleep seemed a milliion miles away at all times. You glanced over at the clock and 4:23AM glared back at you in neon green, Bucky was probably up already anyways and it had become almost routine for you to be together before everyone else woke up.
You really didn’t feel like sparring or working out this morning but you wanted to be around someone else, you crawled out of bed and pulled on some lounge clothes before crankily wandering to find Bucky. You quietly asked JARVIS where he was after you didn’t find him in the kitchen or in the gym, JARVIS responded that Mr. Barnes was on the roof. A small smile found its way to your lips, Bucky went to the roof when he was thinking and you knew he didn’t know why he found his way up there. You always guessed it was a way for him to find higher ground, he was a sniper at heart and that was where his head would start to clear itself. You took the elevator to the top floor and then walked up the cement stairs and pushed open the heavy door that let out onto the roof.
Bucky was bent over with his forearms resting on the ledge looking over the city, he didn’t turn to look to see who was joining him. You walked to stand next to him, your hand finding his shoulder and giving it a reassuring squeeze. Bucky went silent sometimes and he didn’t need you to distract him, he just needed someone to weather the storm with him and you were good at that. Steve had said once that you brought a peace that he never could to Bucky, you had reminded him that it was because you had suffered in nearly identical horrors while you were in captivity. You stood like that for a long time, the sky started to turn pink when he turned to you and your heart ached for what you saw in his eyes: pure agony, regret, loss, anger. You slowly reached for his face, he closed his eyes when your palm cupped his cheek and he leaned into the touch. This man was broken but so were you.
“Thank you.”
It was so quiet that you almost missed it, and if you hadn’t been touching his face you doubt you would have heard it at all. Your thumb stroked his cheek softly before you let your hand drop.
“Always.”
His eyes opened and his baby blues searched your face and whatever he saw there seemed to make him believe you.
“Did you have a nightmare?” he asked softly.
“No, I just coudln’t sleep,” you murmured back.
Bucky nodded and you both turned back to watch the sun rise, you wanted to hold his hand but you were too chicken. You could walk in a room full of guys with guns and make a smart ass comment and not even be slightly scared but the thought of holding Bucky’s hand absolutely terrified you. Not that you weren’t content with how things were now, you were and if he wanted things to stay this way then you would be okay with that. Deep inside of you there was this voice that kept shouting that this man would be the one, the one who always understood, who would always be there for you, the one who would never judge you, who would always be there to turn your frown into a grin. The one. You constantly told that voice to shut the fuck up because you weren’t about to ruin the best friendship you had with this man, and you wouldn’t be able to bear if he didn’t feel the same way.
“You want breakfast, doll?” Bucky asked, glancing over with a small smile pulling at his lips.
“If you’re cooking then absolutely,” you grinned cheekily at him.
He rolled his eyes and placed a hand on his chest dramatically, “I see how it is, you’re using me!”
“You’re damn right I am, those chocolate chip pancakes don’t make themselves!” You replied with a laugh.
Bucky couldn’t help but return the laugh and you both made your way downt to the kitchen, it was still early enough that no one else was awake. You sat at the bar and watched Bucky start pouring things into a bowl and just whisk away at the batter, he seemed to enjoy making breakfast and you figured it was because of his mom and sister. He never talked about them and you respected that because you didn’t want to talk about your family either, although yours was still alive.
“Hello? Earth to Y/N!” Bucky waved his hand in front of your face.
You snapped out of your head and smiled sheepishly at the man in front of you whose face was now concerned.
“Sorry, what did you say?”
“No sorries, remember? I just asked if you want to add your own chocolate chips,” Bucky said, motioning to the bowl.
“OH, yes that's my favorite part!” You exclaimed and jumped off the barstool. Bucky chuckled and poured the batter into the skillet and you dropped a handful of chocolate chips on the batter expertly.
The two of you managed to make about twelve pancakes that were exploding with chocolate chips, he took a stack of six and you took a generous three although you knew you probably wouldn’t finish them. You and Bucky were stuffing your faces when Steve walked into the kitchen, Steve chuckled at the sight of the two of you. Bucky flipped him off and pointed to the rest of the pancakes sitting next to the stove and Steve grabbed a stack from the plate and dug in at the bar next to you and Bucky.
“What the hell is this?” Sam asked when he wandered in shortly after.
“Shut your face or stuff your face, birdbrain,” you said between giant bites of chocolate gooeyness. Bucky snorted at your quip and offered his fist which of course you pounded with yours and Sam narrowed his eyes at the two of you.
“I don’t like this. I don’t like this at all,” Sam said, pointing at you two.
“I believe the lady already so eloquently said ‘Shut your face or stuff your face,’” Bucky grunted at him.
Sam made an exasperated sound before grabbing the remainder of the pancakes and sat down to eat.
“We’re watching the last movie tonight, I say we do an early showing and then grab dinner and discuss the movies and then Bucky can give his decision,” Steve suggested.
“Sounds good to me,” you said, getting up and clearing your dishes off.
You started to load dishes and clean the kitchen, the boys started chatting about something Tony was working on. You turned to grab the dishes from them and Bucky caught your eye and he gave you a pointed look that you knew he knew you understood. You don’t have to do that. And you sent him one back with a small smile and a slight shake of your head, because of
course you didn’t have to but some of what your mother had instilled in you remained.
Later that afternoon the four of you gathered in the media room, you had grabbed some snacks because you were starving and you knew Bucky would munch on them with you. You perched in your normal spot and Bucky plopped down next to you and shoved his hand into the bag of chips you had in your hand.
“You read my mind, doll,” he grumbled around the chips in his mouth.
You grinned at him and popped a few in your mouth, Steve and Sam were bickering over something on the other couch. You called for JARVIS to start the Little Mermaid and almost immediately the Disney music cued up and the scene was set. Bucky was dialed in almost immediately, you smiled softly at him being so focused on the movie. You watched him smile at Sebastian’s drama and he chuckled at the hidden adult humor, and you forced yourself to watch Ariel sing about her knick knacks. Bucky stretched suddenly and his arm found its way around your shoulders, your heart pounded and you shifted so that you were pressed into his side.
Butterflies in your stomach were going absolutely bezerk, your palms were sweating and the warmth radiating from the man next to you was lighting your blood on fire. You cautiously peered up at Bucky and he seemed focused on the movie, feeling your gaze he peered down at you and smiled softly.
“I can’t focus on the greatest Disney princess movie of all time if you’re staring at me, doll,” he whispered.
You flushed and whispered back, “Sorry.”
Bucky turned back to the movie and you forced yourself to do the same, you watched the movie distractedly, Ariel was currently singing her voice away to Ursula. Your brain was going a hundred miles an hour thinking about his arm around your shoulders and what it meant. You watched Ariel make her way through the kingdom with Prince Eric, your favorite scene was coming up. As Kiss the Girl started pouring through the speakers, you sensed Bucky tense slightly and you glanced up to see him peering down at you. You offered a smile and he returned it, his eyes flicked down to your lips and lingered there for a second, Your heart was now thundering out of your chest and you knew he could hear it, his baby blues found yours and he leaned down and pressed his lips to yours. You shut your eyes and relished as his lips parted and his tongue swept throught your mouth, you felt an almost indescribable pleasure sweep through your whole body.
Your hand wrapped around the back of his neck and pulled him further into you, your lips moved with his and your tongues tangled lazily. Bucky caught your lip between his teeth and your breath caught and you instantly got wet, you couldn’t help but let out a whimper.
“Seriously, y’all? We are right here!” Sam cried, gagging and making wretching sounds.
You pulled away and Bucky looked like he wanted to do murder because it ended, and you gave him a reassuring smile. For the rest of the movie, you snuggled into Bucky’s side as close as you physically could, his arm was wrapped tightly around you. Your body felt like it was humming with energy and you were sick of not having your lips on him, you turned your head and tasted his neck. Bucky’s hand tightened on your hip and you gave a teasing nip, he made a gutteral sound in his throat and you couldn’t help but trace the area with your tongue.
“Doll, you gotta stop, I can barely keep myself in check,” Bucky whispered into your hair.
You pouted and pulled away, forcing yourself to patiently watch the rest of the movie. The credits finally rolled and Bucky swept you off the couch and into his arms, you were out of the media room and in the elevator before you knew it. His lips crashed into yours and you moaned into his mouth as your tongue teased his, Bucky groaned as your hands tangled in his hair and pulled. The doors dinged upon your arrival and Bucky carried you into his room, he tossed you on his bed and pulled his shirt off before crawling over you.
“God, I’ve wanted to do this for so fucking long,” he groaned before his lips grazed yours.
His hands roamed your body and pulled at your clothes, you pulled your shirt over your head before you yanked his lips to yours. A fire started deep in your belly and you savored the feeling of his body on yours, Bucky caught your bottom lip between his teeth and the nip of pain made your core clench. The whimper you let out seemed to make him go even wilder, he literally ripped your pants clean off your body.
“Fuck,” you whispered.
“I’m trying, baby,” he teased as he kissed his way down your body.
The first touch of his tongue between your thighs was your undoing, you were a mess and writhing on his tongue. His large hands slid under you and held you to his mouth, he sucked on the bundle of nerves at the top of your core. Wave after wave of pleasure rolled through you and you couldn’t hold your moans and whimpers in as Bucky kept pleasuring you with his sinful mouth. Your fingers tunneled through his hair and you gently pulled so that he finally relented, your body collapsed against the sheets.
“I need you,” you moaned, tugging sharply on the strands of chestnut hair in your grasp.
His blue irises were nearly black because his pupils were so big, his lips were glistening with your slick and the sight of him like this made your heart clench. Bucky hurriedly shoved his pants until he could kick them off and you pulled him in to kiss you by the nape of his neck. His lips hungrily melded with yours and you could taste yourself on his tongue, he groaned into your mouth when your hand wrapped around his member. You pulled Bucky gently into you and guided his member into your sex, you hissed at the sheer size of him but the fullness was heavenly. Bucky lowered his hips until he was fully inside of you and you could feel your channel adjusting to his shaft.
“Fuck, baby, you feel fucking amazing,” he groaned.
“Bucky, I… I need you to move,” you moaned.
He slid out and then slowly back in, you felt electric as he started to pick up rhythm. Your tongues tangled, you were on fire with feeling as he kept a tortuous pace slamming into you. You wrapped your legs around him and then proceeded to flip the both of you so you were on top of him, his blue eyes darkened as he watched you roll your hips in a way that his shaft was hitting that spot inside you. Your eyes rolled into the back of your head as you whipped your body as fast as you could, Bucky’s jaw was clenched so tight you thought it might shatter. His large hands covered your breasts and he rolled your nipples and that sent you tumbling over the edge. You couldn’t hold in your moans and cries, Bucky flipped you onto your back and his hurried thrusts prolonged your orgasm. He let out a hoarse shout and cried out your name as his release came and he collapsed on top of you panting hard.
“That was… incredible,” you whispered while trying to regulate your breathing.
“You’re incredible,” Bucky said into your ear.
“So… what now?”
Bucky lifted himself off of you and pressed a kiss to your lips gently, his eyes searched yours and he gave you a reassuring smile.
“Now you’re mine, if you wanna be, doll.”
A huge grin spread across your face and you pulled his lips back to yours and kissed him properly.
“Now I’m yours.”

I got a homesick heart but a long ways left to go I've been doing my part but I ain't got much to show So I'm asking you to show me some forgiveness It's all for you in my pursuit of happiness
Emma eased into bed that night still clutching the sea shell in her fist, pressed against her heart. She knew it was unlikely that he would try to contact her again, especially since she hadn’t been able to answer him. She lifted it up and examined it by the light of her bedside lamp. How could she have been so quick to think that Killian would leave her? Why had she packed up his belongings in a mere matter of hours? She was ashamed. After all they had been through, she should have trusted him more than that.
She released a deep sigh, pressed the sea shell to her lips, and then set it on her nightstand. But she had no sooner plumped her pillow and rolled over on her side than Killian’s voice came crackling through it once again.
“Emma, Emma,” he called, then she heard him sigh. Emma sat up quickly and snatched the shell.
“Killian, I’m here,” she spoke into it, though she knew it was useless.
“I don’t even know if this bloody thing is working, but Ariel told me I needed it more than she did. I just . . . wanted to tell you . . . that I miss you. Terribly. I don’t know what time it is in Storybrooke, but here in Agribah it’s in the middle of the night.”
Emma eased back into bed, lying sideways on her pillow as she clutched the shell phone. She stared at it, as if she could conjure Killian there.
“I feel so powerless,” Killian continued. “Ariel and I found a caravan traveling to the coast, and I have a plan, it’s just – we’ve stopped for the night, and I don’t want to stop. Because I want to get back home, to you. I’m lying here in this tent, and I hate it because you’re not here. I can’t believe after hundreds of years of living alone, I’ve gotten so used to reaching out and feeling you right there next to me. I can’t sleep without your snores.”
“Hey,” Emma snapped at the shell, “I don’t snore!”
“I know, I know,” Killian chuckled, “you claim you don’t snore. Would it make you feel better if I said it was a soft, melodious snore?”
Emma rolled her eyes, “Only you would call a snore melodious.”
“Anyway,” Killian continued, “if you can even hear me, know I’m thinking of you.”
“And I’m thinking of you,” Emma spoke into the shell. She stared at it for several more minutes, but when no other sounds came through, she set it back on her nightstand and flipped off the light.
Chasing that life, moving on 'cause I had to prove There ain't no life worth doing what I did to you So I'm asking you to show me some forgiveness It's all for you in my pursuit of happiness
Emma groaned at the sound of Killian’s voice. “Five more minutes,” she muttered crankily. Why did he have to be a morning person?
“Love, I hope I’m not waking you. Like I said, I’ve completely lost track of time.”
Emma sat up quickly as she realized the truth once again: Killian was gone. They’d been tricked by Gideon. She couldn’t even let Killian know that she heard him. She snatched up the shell from her nightstand as Killian’s voice continued to come through it.
“I couldn’t sleep.”
Pain gripped Emma’s heart as she heard the agony in his voice.
“You weren’t here beside me, so that was part of it, but I also still feel so horrible for what I did, Emma. Can you ever forgive me? For trying to erase those memories without telling you, for one, and then I went to Nemo . . . “ His voice trailed off in frustration, and Emma could imagine him running his hand through his hair. “I don’t deserve you, Emma. I’m reminded of that every day. But I love you. So much, it’s like this ache within me.”
Emma smiled, and clutched a hand to her own chest. She knew what he meant.
“I know,” she whispered into the shell, “oh, Killian, I wish you could hear me. I wish you knew that I forgive you.”
“We don’t share a heart,” he continued, “but it sure as hell feels like we do. To me anyway.”
“And to me.”
The shell fell silent again as the soft words fell from Emma’s lips.
I got dreams that keep me up in the dead of night Telling me I wasn't made for the simple life There's a light I see, but it's far in the distance I'm asking you to show me some forgiveness It's all for you in my pursuit of happiness
Emma kept the shell with her the rest of the day. She told Killian things she would have told him if he were with her: a funny story about one of the dwarves, complaints about her paperwork at the station, her worries about her parents. Killian talked to her, as well, letting her know where he was and what he was thinking. In her head, Emma knew he couldn’t hear her, but her heart still felt like it was an actual conversation.
“I had a nightmare last night,” Killian was saying now.
Emma paused in her work, tears welling in her eyes at his words. Nightmares were fairly common for him. For both of them, actually. Emma snatched up the shell.
“I wish I’d been there to hold you,” she told him.
“You’ve told me many times that you think I’m a hero,” Killian continued, that sliver of self-loathing still lacing his words, “but there are times my dark sins come back to haunt me. I wake up, and you’re there, this perfect angel, loving me . . . and it’s hard sometimes to believe that I can really have this. You know?”
Emma nodded, a tear slipping down her cheek. “I do know, babe, believe me. But you do deserve it. You own your mistakes, and I so love that about you.”
“I’m never giving up on us, you know that. But there are times I wonder if fate just won’t let me start fresh. Like your father and I. He’s become the best friend I’ve ever had, besides you, and look what my past sins did to that? I doubt he’ll ever forgive me.”
Emma clutched the shell tightly in both fists. “He already has.”
“Well,” Killian said then, signaling a change in subjects with his self-deprecating laugh, “deserved or not, I’m fighting like hell to get home anyway. I’ve found Blackbeard, and I think I can con him out of a bean.”
“Killian Jones, you better be careful with that asshole!”
Killian laughed as if he’d actually heard her. “Don’t worry, I’ll be careful.”
Sometimes you leave the ones you love But if it's love, they won't give up 'Cause they know a war's raging and you gotta choose These days are tough, these days are long Sometimes it's hard, you carry on But I hear a voice singing and I know it's true
“I saw Hook talking into this bloody thing.”
Emma frowned at the unfamiliar voice coming through the shell phone. She snatched it up and snapped into it, “Where’s Killian? Who the hell is this?”
“And I could tell from his sappy words that you’re his true love. Never saw a pirate fall so far, I can tell you. To say he’s gone soft is the understatement of the realms.”
“Blackbeard,” Emma spat, her eyes narrowing.
“Anyway, just thought before I tossed this thing out to sea that you might want to know that your boyfriend was being chased down the beach by lost boys.”
“Lost boys!” Emma cried out. “What do you mean? How’s he in Neverland? I –“
But then there was the sound of a splash, the shell flickered briefly, and then its light went out. Emma frowned down at it for a moment, her heart heavy. But then a tiny smile slowly grew on her face.
“It doesn’t matter, Blackbeard. Killian won’t give up. He’ll find me. We always find each other.”

Lights On
Pairing: Lance Tucker x Reader Word Count: 1599 Warnings: fluff, implied smut, postpartum body insecurities
Summary: You learn that there will never be a reason to hide yourself from Lance.
Dread. It filled your veins, replacing blood with liquid fear that ran beneath your panic coated skin. Your eyes were shut, your back was turned. You didn’t want to see. You couldn’t subject yourself to the horror awaiting.
“Y/N? Sweetheart? You coming down?” Lance called from the bottom of the steps.
A shaky voice replied as you let him know you’ll be right there. Breathe deeply. You can do this.
You willed your body to turn around but your eyes remained closed. You didn’t want to look but it was time to face the music. One eye cracked open slowly, and then the next but before you could get a good look you tilted your head down. It was pathetic really, being scared of your own reflection.
The mirror had become an enemy. Pregnancy had changed your body and there was no going back. You hated getting dressed, closing your eyes whenever you could to avoid seeing stretch marks and dimpled skin, and that damn pouch below your navel. Go away! Yes you’ve yelled at it before, grabbing the fatty tissue and demanding it to leave your body.
Despite hating your body you loved the reasons why it changed. Ariel was almost three and Theodore was seven months old, and today you were taking him in the pool for the first time; that is if you had the courage to leave your bedroom.
With a deep breath you looked forward at the intimidating mirror that showed off every part you were self conscious of. You hated feeling this way, scrutinizing your body over every lump, every stripe, everything you now considered a flaw that made you feel so… unsexy.
And sex was the last thing on your mind after Theo was born. The first few months were exhausting between taking care of him and Ariel. When Theo was sleeping Ariel wanted to play, if she went down for a nap Theo needed attention. Of course Lance was there to help with the kids but he was struggling to sort through his emotions with the upcoming anniversary of his mother’s death.
You were there for each other, finding intimacy on a new level. On that rare occasion when both kids were asleep you found your way into each other’s arms, hands running softly through each other’s hair, rubbing gentle circles on your backs, reveling in the closeness you felt.
Sometimes you would fall asleep, lulled by the sound of each other’s heartbeats, other times you would just hold each other and talk, exploring this new side of your relationship brought out by the hectic times of parenthood.
Above all it was nice not to feel pressured to do anything, neither of you were really ready although that changed as the months went by.
Hands began roaming to more intimate places, kisses became increasingly passionate; you were hungry for each other, needy and desperate. You were begging to feel connected again physically, fulfilling that primal urge to become one as you floated to a plane of absolute bliss.
Ascending to nirvana should have been the only thing on your mind but it wasn’t. The insecurities you felt came rushing in, burning their way through your body like poison, destroying your happiness and crushing whatever self-esteem you had left. So when you did have sex you insisted all the lights be turned off, even the blinds had to be shut because you couldn’t bear for the moonlight to reveal your physical shortcomings.
You felt stupid hiding yourself from Lance, your husband, your soulmate, but you were embarrassed. He never made you feel that way though. Lance loved you just as he had before, no matter how your body looked. Under the cover of darkness he worshipped you all night long, or at least until Theo woke up.
This couldn’t last forever. You didn’t want it too. You felt the toxicity of each thought dragging you further and further into a pit of self-loathing despair. This was not an example you wanted to set for your children. Theo was too small to understand now but Ariel was a sponge, soaking up information every day. You wanted to raise her with an open, accepting mind, not one riddled with shame about her body so you had to take a stand.
With your head held high you walked down the stairs, in your mint and black color block one piece. Your thighs jiggled, you felt your pouch press against the material of the bathing suit, and if you looked down you could see a few stretch marks peeking out from the top of your breasts, but none of it mattered.
At the bottom of the staircase was Ariel, dressed in a mermaid print bathing suit with ruffles. She was singing as she danced around Lance who bounced Theo in his arms.
“Hi beautiful,” Lance greeted you with a kiss, passing along Theo who was eager to be in your arms.
Together you applied suntan lotion to the kids and grabbed a shark themed sun hat for Theo that matched the adorable shark swim diaper he wore. Ariel stuck her arms out as Lance struggled to slide mermaid themed arm floats on her, she was bouncing with excitement because she couldn’t wait to get in.
It was a beautiful day but it was hot and, in typical Florida fashion, incredibly humid. You were definitely looking forward to escaping the heat in the cool water as long as Theo was cooperative for his first day in the pool.
Lance got in first with Ariel clinging to his frame. He entered the pool, slowly lowering their bodies so she could adjust to the temperature.
“Hold your nose Starfish!” he said.
Ariel puffed out her cheeks and grabbed her nose, letting her dad dip her below the surface of the water. They rose above together, dripping wet as wiped her face, giggling to do it again.
You sat on the first step holding Theo in your lap. Wetting your hand you let the water drip on his arms, looking for any signs of discomfort but thankfully he was all smiles. As Ariel and Lance swam around you showed Theo how to slap the water out in front of him. He giggled as you encouraged him letting him adjust to the water for a bit before you decided to take him in further.
Cradling him to your chest, you stood up and slowly walked into the pool, kissing his chubby cheeks as you dipped down into the water up to his waist. Theo smiled widely showing off his two bottom teeth. He may be dressed like a shark but he was your cute little pumpkin.
“Ariel, why don’t you show your brother how to swim!” You encouraged her, watching as she swam across the short side of the pool, kicking her feet and splashing wildly. “Good job!”
“Watch me again, mommy look I can go backwards!”
Ariel pushed herself off from the tile, kicking her feet but not really getting further than the initial momentum took her as she drifted into the center.
“Amazing!” Lance beamed with great enthusiasm as she floated beside him.
Pressing his lips to the top of Theo’s head Lance encouraged his young son, “Okay Theo it’s your turn now Pumpkin!”
You shifted him to his stomach, gently holding him on top of the water to get used to floating. His legs instinctively began to kick so you let him, guiding him around the shallow end of the pool. Slowly you let go but kept your arms beneath the surface under his body as a precaution. Theo swam for a foot or so before you scooped him up again congratulating him with kisses.
The heat broke with thunder booming in the distance, and again in typical Florida fashion a sudden downpour. The towels that were laid out were immediately soaked so you stayed under the veranda as Lance went inside for dry ones so you could wrap yourself and the kids up without leaving a puddle trail in the house.
The rain didn’t let up so your plans to grill would be put on hold. Instead Lance ordered pizza and while Theo took a nap, the three of you colored. Ariel’s drawing of everyone in the pool went right up on the fridge next to her other artistic masterpieces.
With the kids in bed for the night you settled next to Lance, tilted your head to his for a kiss. His lips were soft against yours and at the swipe of his tongue you opened your mouth, deepening the kiss. Moans fell from your lips as your hands found the nape of his neck bringing him closer to you.
Lust filled the blue of his eyes and as you rocked against his growing hardness heat spread to your core, burning hot and fast than a wildfire. You both knew where this was going and Lance shifted to reach his arm out towards the bedside lamp.
“No.” You stopped him, grabbing his arm.
You climbed above him as Lance settled back against the mattress, and grabbed the hem of your shirt pulling it off.
The light revealed everything to Lance but all he saw was you, his beautiful wife, the love of his life since before he knew the true meaning of the word. There was no judgment in his eyes, only love in its purest form, reminding you there was no reason to hide. You captured Lance’s lips again with your own, making love beside the glow of the lights that would continue to stay on.

Do you ever think Kairi could've been a better protagonist for the Kingdom Hearts series? Like how cool would it be for an amnesiac princess who fights to save her two best friends in the world not because of romantic love for either of them but because theyre her best friends and she loves them both enough not to want to lose either of them. I could see her becoming good friends with each of the princesses of heart.
What if daisy was the mage and clarabelle was the guardian whilst everyone was looking for Queen Minnie going off to learn a white magic spell that would've stopped heartless from entering their worlds, while King Mickey was stuck at home doing his job and worrying about his Queen. I think learning about how connections of the heart bind everyone together would've been a valuable lesson for Kairi to learn. She tried so desperately to keep her two favorite people in her life yet they both slipped away from her. She could've grown from that, accepting that no matter how far apart they are their hearts would remain connected.
She could've met the Final Fantasy characters in Traverse Town and they could've responded to her by saying she reminded them of a princess in their old home of radiant garden. Meeting Clarabelle and Daisy who were searching for their lost Queen who had disappeared one night after pouring over old magical tomes in search of the greatest white magic spell to reverse the stars going out in the night sky. Daisy would've been still as quirky as Donald if more vain than him and her obsession with fashion would make more sense for when they needed disguises for the many disney worlds. Clarabelle would be just as clueless as goofy yet bring a tenderness to how she interacted with Kairi and Daisy, able to break up the two when they bickered too much.
In Wonderland, Kairi would've find a kinship with Alice's wish to explore strange new worlds and comfort her when she was trapped by the Queen of Hearts, learning that royalty that looses their temper could never rule justly.
Going to the Olympus Coliseum she would meet cloud, a fellow amnesiac who fell to his own darkness because of trusting Hades. She could learn a bit about trying to return someone who has fallen to darkness and keep that information when she finally catches up to Riku.
In the Jungle, Kairi would learn of the strength of a heart and that family doesn't have to be blood ties to be meaningful. She would see the old photos of Tarzan's family and feel a pain in her heart for the family she lost in Radiant Garden, she might not remember it but the heart never forgets.
In Agrabah, Kairi and the gang would follow Jasmine instead of Aladdin and become closer to her, seeing how isolation within the palace walls kept her wishing for the outside world just like Kairi and the other destiny islanders felt. She would see Jaffar wanting power, Jasmine, and all of Agrabah and see that lust for power and things you want can hurt so many others when uncontrolled.
She'd get on Monstro and find Gippetto on the ship and feel a strange connection to the old man who lost his little boy. Seeing Riku for the first time trying to take Pinocchio saying that he wasn't real but still had a heart would hurt her more than it had Sora. Returning Pinocchio to Gippetto would trigger one of her lost memories of her grandmother, holding her and singing a soft lullaby. Kairi would have tears flowing and not yet understand why.
At Alantica, Kairi would see just how similar Jasmine's situation had been to Ariel, noticing that locking away a person for their own protection would not help in the slightest. She would empathize with Ariel and understand why against all repercussions she would go to Ursula for help to get out into the world above. She would also see that in the end, sometimes loving someone means letting them go to explore and live their lives, another memory of her grandmother would trigger as Triton says goodbye to his daughter.
In Halloween town, it could've been interesting for instead of following Jack, Kairi followed Sally seeing her pining from afar and helping her to see another overprotective parent in Doctor Finklestein, who wouldn't let her be outside for long. She would help her escape and see her want to be with Jack, and see how no matter how hard she tried she wouldn't be able to alter his destructive vision towards Christmas. In a way Kairi would see a comparison between Jack and Riku, so consumed by their individual dreams that they would do anything to achieve them, even unintentionally hurt those who get in their way.
At Neverland she could've seen the world from Wendy's perspective starting out trapped in the same cabin as her she would use the keyblade to unlock the door and fight her way out of the world. Learning from Wendy how lonely Peter was and how he had convinced the others to fly away from home to Neverland. She would see that his vision to regain a mother for the lost boys in Wendy was a bit strange yet tugged at her heart strings, in a way she saw herself in the same position when she came to destiny islands, she had had no memories and had been without a guide. It may trigger some repressed memories of the night she left her grandmother and the fall of Radiant Garden.
It would've been interesting for Kairi to discover that when she went to save Sora at Hollow Bastion it was her home she had forgotten. Every hall and space she entered she could've had visions of the past. Of her grandmother teaching her about the strength of the heart and that even though she would be gone soon, granny would always love her.
Here Kairi's strength of heart would be tested, Daisy and Clarabelle would follow Riku as he took the keyblade from her. She would come to realize that this castle and all who had inhabited had fallen to darkness, every heartless she encountered might be one of the many servants and townsfolk that she had left behind when she had washed up on Destiny Islands. She might blame herself for the state the Castle was in. Had her heart been stronger, had she had the friends she had now. Similarly to Sora she would regain the Keyblade by understanding that a heart can falter, but you must always learn to get back up as your friends will be there for you. Daisy and Clarabelle seeing how ruthless Riku had become would side again with Kairi and she would continue through the castle. In the library Kairi would stumble upon some books from her childhood, there she would learn the location of the final white magic spell, holy. A wish to the universe for hearts to be mended and the world to be connected once more. This was the spell that the Queen had been desperately searching for since the stars had been going out, the spell required a massive amount of magic to complete, so much so the caster may die in the casting. There was an excerpt in the book, as with all magic there is an opposite force, a spell meant to break bonds, sever the worlds and plunge them into darkness unending, this spell was what had caused the stars to begin flickering out.
This would trigger the final piece to get Kairi's childhood memories back she would see a hooded figure with the help of 12 other mages begin casting the spell on her world. Kairi would see firsthand the destruction that spell would bring. She would see her grandmother, using her last bit of strength in her heart to seal away Kairi and her memories, when this world completely fell to darkness. It would connect how she arrived on Destiny Islands. With this knowledge Kairi rose ever higher in the castle, finding bits and pieces of her life she had left behind, stumbling upon her old room and seeing that everything she had left behind remained. There would be a painting of her and her grandmother, listed with a family name, one she had lost over the years and learning that she and this castle were all that remained of her family's legacy.
With this knowledge she would face against Riku, taking all that she had learned of the corruption of his heart. After defeating him she would speak to the boy who was her friend, to come home with her. This plea would not fall on deaf ears for no matter how far gone Riku was he could never turn his back fully on one of his best friends. That would be when Ansem would take over and depart for the end of the world.
Kairi would see Sora's lifeless body and use the black Keyblade to remove Sora's Heart that she had tenderly carried this whole way. Sora who had witnessed most of the events of the game through Kairi would save her in the same way as she saved him in another time. Loving her unconditionally and willing to protect her no matter what. Kairi would then destroy the machine that had been using the princesses of heart to fuel the artificial kingdom hearts. Then she would journey to the end of the world to face off against Ansem
Whilst there she would see the echoes of every world she had been to, all the friends and allies she had made, culminating in a face off with the very man who had destroyed both of her homes, taken her old and new friends and threatened to plunge every world into darkness.
It would be here at the end of everything that Kairi would find kingdom hearts, the culmination of all the souls lost to darkness, where she would find Queen Minnie attempting to cast holy but not having the strength to cast it alone. Kairi would help relying on the power of her friends, those she had lost in Radiant Garden and since. With the combined effort of all those souls the spell holy would commence, releasing Kingdom Hearts and closing the dark paths between the worlds. Kairi would see Riku and Queen Minnie on the other side of the door to darkness and say she'll get them home no matter the cost.
The game would end about the same except Sora is left behind on Destiny Island while Kairi decends into the realm of darkness to find castle oblivion.

There are so many [Harry Potter character] x reader posts on here and I’m loving them😍😍 I wrote a Harry Potter fan-fiction book and I thought I’d share some of the chapters on here! It’s called Visions and it takes place during Goblet of Fire. Enjoy <3
Prologue:
There is nothing worse than being forced to spend time with a bully. How did I get myself into this situation in the first place?
I guess it started when I was nine and my parents moved us back to the UK. They wanted to go to my dad's hometown now that his mother had gotten sick. I was just one year old when they moved to the US, so I didn't really know my grandmother, but this way I could meet her before she would pass away.
I am what my parents call a Pureblood. I don't like to call myself that; it gives the impression that I'm a better witch than someone with No-Maj parents, which is not true at all. They were very skeptical of sending me to a No-Maj primary school, but they really did not have any choice. They both worked through the day so they couldn't home school me. This way I had to act like a No-Maj during the day, but I didn't mind. Most of the No-Majs I met were nicer than any wizard kids I was forced to hang out with on Long Island.
Hanging out with No-Majs was not at all a problem. I thought that they were very interesting and clueless, which made them kind of cute, I guess. My life changed, though, when some kids in my class started this magic game every time the teacher left. At one point some kid screamed Abracadabra (it sounded like another curse though) and I jumped behind a desk. All the kids looked at me in surprise and my friend Jannet, who believed I was just playing along, told me I had great acting skills. I smiled at her awkwardly and told her that I'd think about pursuing a career. I looked around and saw this blond kid called Dragon or something sitting almost traumatized behind a chair. I knew he was like me. And that's when my problems started.
I walked up to him and he just looked at me with this scared look on his face. "You should get up", I told him and lend him my hand. "People may think you're different". And I winked at him. He grabbed my hand and got up. The rest of the day I noticed someone staring at me, but I only paid attention to the teacher, who was teaching us how to multiply.
After school, the blond boy came up to me and my friends. I was startled because in the couple of months that I'd been at this school, I had never once heard him speak. His voice was much higher than I'd expected. Almost girly. "You're like me", he said in a whisper. The girls around me looked confused so I grabbed Dragon by his arm and pulled him away.
"Dragon, you shouldn't say that when there are No-Majs around" I told him sternly.
"What's a No-Maj? And my name's Draco by the way."
"Sorry, 'Muggles' is what you call them. And yes I am like you." I replied. Draco looked at me in awe. His look quickly turned to confusion, though when he looked around at my friends. "Why do you hang out with that lot then?" He asked with disgust around his face.
I really hated the disgust magical folk felt for No-Majs. MACUSA even forbids the interaction between non-magical and magical people. It's not that I wasn't used to the aversion to No-Majs, it just didn't sit right with me.
"They're my friends", I told Draco confidently. I didn't care if he didn't like that. Who was he to tell me what to think?
I was expecting some mean and condescending remark, but instead the boy got very insecure. "Would you maybe want to be my friend. I don't really have any. When I was in year 3 there was this accident and since then everyone thinks I'm weird." I was taken aback from his question. Come to think of it I had never seen him with friends. I did hear my friends call him weird once, but I thought that's what they thought of all the boys in our class. I did think that it would be nice to have a wizard as a friend. It is quite frustrating to not be able to fully be yourself around your friends. I smiled at him. "Sure, Draco, I'll be your friend", I told him.
Since that day we pretty much hung out everyday. I wouldn't say we were best friends, because I got pretty bothered about his Pureblood comments. My parents were more than happy that I became friends with someone from a wizarding family. Especially since he was a Malfoy. I didn't realize at the time that that was such a big deal. I guess the size of Draco's house should have been my clue. Whenever my parents picked me up after a playdate they would suck up to the Malfoys and, I don't know how or when, but our families actually became friends. This meant dinner almost every week.
At school Draco and I also hung out a lot. My friends started warming up to him, but he didn't really return the favor. My best friend Jannet had asked me why Draco's face was always scrunched up whenever she was around, I told her that he was allergic to her cat.
Draco started calling me R, as if Ari wasn't short enough.
A week before my eleventh birthday, 6th of June, my parents had organized a party. They were very excited for my letter to arrive. Draco's birthday was the day before mine. He got his letter on the morning of the 5th, so all through that day he couldn't stop gloating.
My party was the next day, but obviously I couldn't invite any of my No-Maj friends. I had told them about my sick grandma and that it was best if not too many people would come over, so she wouldn't risk getting any nasty virus. They understood.
Draco had stayed over at my place the night before, because he wanted to be there when I opened my letter. Really nice I thought, but once the letter came, he had already grabbed it before I could see it. "It's exactly the same as yours, Draco! Give it to me, I want to read it!" Grumpily he gave it back.
Dear miss Mills,
We are pleased to inform you.... blah blah blah.
I didn't really see how this letter was so special, but I guess the letter confirmed my magical status and therefore was of significance? It made my mom cry.
"Oh sweet Ariel, this is so wonderful", she sobbed. My dad was holding her. I could see him holding back tears. I hugged them and whisper shouted: "Mom, you're embarrassing me!"
"I'm sorry honey, I'm just so proud." She said and let out another loud sob.
"You shouldn't be embarrassed, I think it's nice", said Draco, sadness spreading over his face.
Soon after that, my mom dropped us of at school. All day long Draco and I discussed our Hogwarts future in hushed voices. We were both certain we would be sorted in Slytherin like our parents before us. I joked that green wouldn't look good on me, but he assured me that it woud look great.
Time flew by and before I knew it, summer holiday had ended. All my No-Maj friends were going to schools nearby, but I told them that I would be attending boarding school in Scotland, which is the truth in a way. Draco and I would be going to Kings Cross separately, because my parents wanted a last goodbye in private, which I was grateful for because they were very embarrassing. After about 5000 bone-crushing hugs, my parents let me go, and I got on the train just as the whistle blew.
"R, down here", I heard Draco say. I followed him as we entered a compartment. Two very large and scary boys were already sitting there. Draco introduced them as Crabbe and Goyle. I wanted to ask what their first names were, but Draco had already whipped out his wand and was boasting about it. I hadn't seen him since the beginning of the summer, since my family decided to go to New York to visit some old friends. We didn't go to Ollivander's together like we had planned, but it didn't upset me that much. I thought that buying a wand was quite an intimate occasion and I rather wanted to do it with my family. My wand was of hawthorn wood with a unicorn hair core and was about 10 ¼ inches long. Short, like me. I was quite happy with it. Draco's wand was of the same wood and had the same core. I thought Draco's was quite simple, but it had a sense of elegance. Mine was prettier though.
"Did you hear?" Draco asked. I looked at him puzzlingly. "Apparently Harry Potter is in our year", he told us. Unlike most wizarding kids, I never grew up with stories about the legendary Harry Potter. Draco had told me about Harry Potter and You-Know-Who, when I was 10. He was some sort of a legend who defeated an evil wizard when he was just a baby. I always thought Draco was messing with me, but apparently the Boy Who Lived was real. Draco, Crabbe and Goyle went out to search for him on the train, but I didn't feel like going. Instead, I quickly changed into my Hogwarts uniform. When I was dressed, a girl and very upset boy came by to ask if I'd seen a toad, but I hadn't. They went away.
When we arrived at the station, some large man escorted us to some boats. I was in a boat with the boys I shared the compartment with, but our boat seemed to have a hard time keeping up with the others. Probably the weight of the two large boys that sat behind Draco and I. I wanted to point this out to Draco, but he had been in a bad mood ever since he came back from his Potter Safari.
The castle was very impressive. It was huge and the grounds didn't seem to end. All the kids around me seemed to be as amazed as I am.
Before we knew it a tall and slim witch called professor McGonagall was telling us about the houses and explaining what would happen when we would enter the Great Hall. Once McGonagall mentioned Slytherin, Malfoy looked at me and I smiled back.
After a while Draco's name was called and the blond boy walked up to the stool. The singing hat was not even touching his head when the Sorting Hat bellowed: "Slytherin!". He looked at me and I gave him a thumbs up. He mouthed at me: "You're next", and I nodded.
"Mills, Ariel", called Professor McGonagall and I stepped forward. The giant hat fell over my eyes blocking my view of the hall. I felt all eyes on me and my nerves were killing me. I obviously wouldn't be a great Gryffindor.
"Ah, another Mills", said the hat quietly. "Considering your family's history, I would seriously consider placing you in Slytherin. Your mind, however, argues something else. Best put you in... RAVENCLAW!" He yelled the last word. The table filled with young witches and wizards sporting blue ties stood up and clapped.
Obviously shocked I walked over to the table. I didn't know how to feel. I looked over at the Slytherin table and I saw Malfoy looking angrily back. He quickly looked away, leaving me hurt. I said down next to a blond girl who was sorted into Ravenclaw not long before me.
During the feast, I looked back one more time, but Draco had turned away and was now stabbing his food with his fork. I could hear something along the lines of "my father...." but that was the last I'd heard.
All year Draco Malfoy had been a real pain in the ass. When I had informed my parents of my house they didn't reply for almost a month, but they had ultimately decided that they were happy for me. All through year two and three, I would hear terms as "bloodtraitor" or "mugglefriend" from Draco, but I ignored him. Every time he would get near me I would turn around and walk away. Luckily, he greatest hobby was pestering Harry Potter.
Every summer I had gotten out of my parents dinner plans with the Malfoys until the summer between year three and year four, when my parents had brought me to a very important dinner with many Slytherin alumni. I was being forced to see my bully again. Who knew how this would end?
