Besides my obvious annoyance with the new season because of the horrible character understanding from the writers and their ADMITTED goal to change Gaitán's ending, there are other aggravating issues with it:

1. The pacing:

This new novela knows it's in a rush, but we can tell, too. The first episode seems to attack the viewer with so many different new facts and characters and issues. It straight up starts with: Roberto's funeral, Armando and Betty separated and having been so for years now, Armando's presidency in the gutter again, lots of economic issues within the company again, Mila gone for years and her distance with Betty, a new guy that Marcela is suspiciously protective of and planning together to get revenge, Daniel being dead for going to jail from illegal business practices, etc. And all of this in the span of 1 episode. It just hits you with so much that it doesn't even give you the chance to get to know the characters. We haven't seen most of them in over twenty years, and some of them never, so we basically don't know them anymore! It's going so direclty and straight to the point that it feels more like a badly written fanfiction.

2. Lack of builup for tension

Jesus, there is very, very little tension here for the big things that matter. [SPOILER] In one episode we find out that Ecomoda is in bad shape, and just a few ones later, Armando is turning himself in. We don't see him slowly driving himself insane with his moral dilemma, we don't see him desperately trying everything to fix it, we don't even see him turning himself in! Just one episode ends with him saying he was turning himself in, and the next one starts with Armando's mugshot. That's it. No tension at all

3. Bad editing

One of the things that I loved about the old novela were their transitions. The first episodes were amazing with this: while Betty was looking at the magazine of the collection launch and giving her opinions and commentary, we were seeing the pictures of it and then we're taken to the moment the picture was taken. While Gutierrez, Armando and Roberto are talking about Betty and why Gutierrez discarded her, Roberto asks "why would a candidate so well prepared and qualified only want to be a secretary?" And then we see Betty going "because I'm tired of looking for a job!"

Those kind of transitions were incredible, I loved them so much. Now in this new series it just cuts abruptly to something totally different.

4. Inappropriate setting

They really, really tried to make everything seem so modern, and in their effort, they ended up making it so plastic and fake. The office doesn't look like an office at all, but rather a gallery or the lobby of an exotic hotel. The desks almost seem out of place. Sure, it's a fashion business, but it's just so fake looking. Most offices, even modern ones, still look like offices. This one just doesn't feel like it, and that really takes me out of the story.

Finally, and just as a little pet peeve that, objectively, idek if it should count but I'll include nonetheless because I'll forget to make a separete post about it: the robot and the hacking. It's just so cringy and cheap. Are robots like that even in the market fr? AI robots that follow you around and are in the shape of a sewing mannequin? And the whole hacking thing... ugh. As I said it's a personal pet peeve but I always find it cringy when they make these super high-tech knowing characters that can hack on everything and we see on the screen the codes and all of that. I found both of these elements so tacky and unnecessary lmao why not just hide cameras?? Nooo, let's make Daniel wannabe a finance and hacking genius lmao ((this part isn't part of the list I just wanted to vent because my hubby and I died of cringe watching one episode last night where Mila's AI Moving Robot Sewing Mannequin told her someone was hacking into the cameras and Ignacio is cyber-fighting to hide and we see a split screen of him and another of what he's seeing through the cameras and eventually he just closes the lid lmao)) ((anyway little rant over sorry))

And yes, as I said here: B&A marriage got in shambles because they spent too much time working and trying to save that mess company instead of taking care of each other, vacationing together... I SAID THAT ECOMODA (2002) GIVES HINTS OF THIS FUTURE!!

season 2 predictions:

I feel like I saw way more behind the scenes stuff that I never saw in the actual show, leading me to believe that either A. they already knew they would get a season 2 and filmed it at the same time or B. what was originally filmed was split up, hence why it feels so choppy. BUT probably neither of these things are true I'm just projecting 😩 cuz I still can't wrap my head around this season

I predict season 2 will bring us back to the original plot of Armando and Betty dating on the down-low and sneaking around behind everyone's back and that's how they reignite their relationship, and it's gonna end in another wedding for them.

there's sooooo much to talk about from the last two episodes but I'm too tired to really dive in, I can only think in bullet points lmao:

1. I like imagining Yura getting one last good season before he grows faster than he can keep up with.

I think Yura gets very impatient with himself. It's one thing to have a skill and try to perfect it with practice, but it's another thing to have to relearn something you already knew how to do because your body changed and the balance is different and the same muscle memory you worked so hard to develop is failing you. This could feel different.

So he has a slump, but he gets back from it stronger. Yakov doesn't give up on him, he knows he can stay a great skater. He trained Viktor and Georgi and they're both doing great at 27 years old. He can pull Yura through this.

And Yura has examples of skaters coming back from this. He felt like he had a deadline before his body changes, but in the end, it was temporary and he'll do just fine.

Sidenote, I love imagining Yura getting as tall as Viktor - and then stopping. Which annoys him so much, even though he isn't a kid anymore and he knows at this point that he's being ridiculous. Taller shoes and hairstyles, just to make himself look a bit taller than Viktor. Everyone who knows him knows what he's doing. Viktor and Mila think it's hilarious.

2. About Viktor getting back into skating, I can go either way.

On the one hand, he was burned out, he's finally happy, he sees a future for himself where he isn't lonely on the pedestal, he didn't seem happy to go back to it, he looked like he was doing it for Yuuri, he's going to coach at the same time, there's so much there...

But for why Viktor might want to get back to skating. I think his last season was a plea not to be left alone, and he might want to tell a better and more hopeful story before he fully retires.

If I write something post-canon, I'm giving him gold in his national competitions (puts Yura in his place, just once. "Viktor Nikiforov is dead" AND VIKTOR KATSUKI-NIKIFOROV IS BETTER).

When I'm putting him against both Yuuri and Yura, though, the podium looks like. Gold for Yuuri. And Viktor and Yura can get either silver or bronze depending on my mood. Yuuri's gold is consistent, though. HE WAS ROBBED. Give Yuuri gold!!!

Viktor reclaiming his records only for Yuuri to break them again is a favorite of mine so there's a bias here too.

So the future I imagine depends on which feelings I want to explore. Sometimes I'll have Viktor feeling like he's going back to a place that hurt him because he wants to make Yuuri happy and give him the competition he always imagined, and sometimes he's eager to tell the story of the happiness he found.

3. I think if he goes back it absolutely affects his relationship with Yuuri.

If he doesn't really want to go back and he's doing it for Yuuri, O often have it so Yuuri realizes he's asking too much and finding a way to make it better. Either by asking Yakov to coach him so Viktor can focus on skating, or by trying to tell Viktor he doesn't need to do this for him. In either case, Viktor isn't happy. I don't think he likes to give up on things. These skaters are ambitious and stubborn, I think it's kind of necessary to be where they are. But he needs to balance things. Maybe even drop the idea of competing again. Depends on the story.

But the more fun option is if Viktor fully wants to do this. And it still won't be easy. Any non-skating aspect of their relationship will be put aside for a while, they'll have so much to work through. And I love that kind of hard work.

Also, this isn't entirely related, but I thought about this. They'll move to Russia which means not having Yuuri's family and support system. The way I see Viktor, he kept everyone at arm's length until Yuuri. His relationship with Chris was shallow, I see it in Chris's inner dialogue about him. With Yura, he trained with him for years, but it's only in Hasetsu that it feels like they truly made a connection.

He's always watching people, he cares about what they need and how they feel even when he's failing at recognizing things, but he's keeping himself at a distance. Until Yuuri, who basically opened him a door to human connection and gave him the path to bonding with more people. That's how I read him.

So now he has Yuuri with him in Russia. And his rinkmates are going to love him.

And Viktor will have to put his new way of connecting with people into practice in a place where he's known the way he was.

It's easier to act differently where people don't know you. They don't have expectations, so they aren't going to look at you weird when you defy them. Here people know him. It'll be tempting to just... slide back into old habits. But Yuuri is there. He's telling the story of being with Yuuri. He has to hold on to everything he got from the time in Hasetsu and bring it here.

I think this will influence them a lot too. Yuuri asked him to just be himself, and Viktor takes him back to the world that taught him he shouldn't. And he's going to have to make that jump, change how he acts, and see it's not that bad.

Also, Yuuri will get to see new and different kinds of support. Viktor taught him to recognize it, since before he says it felt vague. Now he really feels he can rely on people.

I wanted to say more about Yuuri but it's getting late and I'm going to get sleepy soon jfsjgsjsg

If some of you have seen my oc Lucky (full title being LuckyFailureGirl), you might be a bit confused on why my main blog is titled that and my RP blog for her is a separate play on words ( @luckyisgirlfailing ). Your confusion completely understandable!! To elaborate though, "LuckyFailureGirl" has always been a username of mine across platforms, so I used that when I came to Tumblr. When I finally wanted to make a blog for Lucky themselves, I realized it was kind of too late,,, and I had to come up with a different title for her blog, but that doesn't change her official title or name. He is my sona/oc, and we share the same name and pronouns, but she also has a very different personality from me at times. She's not really a good person, but she's not meant to be super edgy either!!! You can find more information on her background on her blog, or you can ask me about them. You were woken up, by the sunshine, that leaked through the curtains, hitting your eye. You looked around the room, listening if anyone was at the dorm, but it was compeletly quiet so you suppose they all went to work. "They even have to work on weekends.." you mumble to yourself, while snatchig on of Minho's hoodies and walked down the stairs to the kitchen, just to find a well prepared breakfast with a sticknote >>Good morning princess, eat so you don't go home hungry today;) Your secret admirer (aka your fav man)"<< You can't help but giggle at the ridiculous cute note.

You giggled and turned you screen off to start eating, while thinkinh about how to spend your weekend. Minho and the other boys sure must be busy with practice and recording and Mila is at her Parent's house. So should you just rot in Minho's room for the weekend? Or should you visit her? Even if you doubt that it'll end well, you haven't been home since ages and ignored all her texts and calls. You sigh and wash up, before grabbing you things and walk to your apartment. You put on some noble clothes, which should be usual to you, but you just hate wearing it all the time, and call your driver.

It has been 20 minutes and you can already see the Mansion. The house, that you hate so much. You sigh to yourself, and wait till the car door was opened by a butler. You stepped out and entered the Mansion, being greeted by two maids, who's faces light up seeing you. "Young Lady! You're back!" you smile at their excitment but turn serious right after, "I want to see my Mother." "Um we're sorry but the Lady is busy right-" "I'll meet her anyway" with that you walk up the stairs, to her office. You took a deep breath and knocked on the door, before entering.

There she was, working on her table. Like always. You stepped in and she raises her head "Oho, look, look. Look who decided to come back after 2 years. What gives me the honor Y/n, my dear daughter?" she coldly says. No smile. No wave. Nothing. "I wanted to see if you're dead yet Mother, but seems like you're just working, as always." you sit on the couch, ringing the tea bell. Your Mother stood up and walked over to sit across from you "How caring my sweet doll. So how's uni? Are you also behaving good?"she asks, taking a sip of her tea. "Why would you ask me that if you already know it? You own this school, so quit asking me stupid questions." "Aw don't be so harsh. Who's gonna inherit my fashion chain and spread it even further around the world, if not you? After all, you are my only daughter. Your father is also very proud of you. So keep behaving well so that you can soon take over the chain yourself. Yes?" she says, in an obvious demanding tone. She wasn't asking, it was an order "Yes Mother, as you wish.." you mumble, taking another sip of your tea. It was quiet for some time, before you decide to speak up "I'll take my leave then-" "Your father and I, heared some interesting rumors Y/n." your mother says, serious, taking another sip of the tea. "And?" "Who's that boy, that visited you in MY university? Is that your secret boyfriend we don't know about?" fuck. How did they already find out? You mean yes, it may be her uni, but that fast? You stood up and walked over to the door, "He's, my friend. Don't bother him" you say and step out the room. You wanted to leave. As fast as possible.

At the drive back, you stare at your phone background (it being you, soonie, doongie, dori and minho) and fidget with the necklace Minho gifted you, it somehow calms you.

You stepped in the Skz dorm, carried yourself to Minho's room and fell face-first on his bed. You somehow manage to grab a random shirt off his chair, wich was way too big, and changed into it, wanting nothing more to curl up in his arms. You frown and put your phone on silence, cuddling into his bed, breathing in his scent. It didn't take long for you to fall asleep, feeling safe and sound, being surrounded by the smell and stuff of your favorite human ever. Still, in the back of your head you know, that now that your parents have a suspicion, your life won't be as peaceful as it was anymore. But that's a problem for another day.

"Same" Rúben says, lying next to her. "We should have chosen Ibiza instead of Croatia for our holidays. Less trouble."

"Ibiza is boring. And seeing our luck today, I'm sure we would have had the same problems" she laughs.

"Probably, yes."

"I'm gonna text my mum and tell her we made it safe and sound. What was the Wifi password?"

"That guy got so excited when he recognized you. Rúben Dias, oh my God!" Mila says, typing on her phone. "You always are so cute with all the fans."

"Because I am cute" he says, hugging her the same way she always hugs him, with an arm and a leg over her.

"You actually are, yes" she says, turning her head to kiss him. "Oh, wow."

"That good was that kiss?" Rúben laughs.

"Idiot” Mila chuckles. “I was talking about my notifications, they are going wild. I have like... twenty missed calls from my agent. A few from yours. And so many texts from... Literally everyone."

"That's odd."

"Very" she says, her phone ringing on her hand. "Oh, remind me to change my ringtone. I hate it."

"But I picked it for you!" Rúben says.

"Exactly" she smirks. "Hey, what happened?"

"Finally, Mila! Where the hell have you been?" her agent asks her over facetime.

"Having a really bad day. Our flight from London got delayed twice, then we missed the car that was driving us to the town where we are staying, the one we managed to get had problems with a tire... We literally just made it to the house."

"And why was your phone turned off?"

"Oh, that's another problem we've had. Our data isn't working, I'm using the house's WiFi."

"Then you have no idea about what is going on."

"Did something happen?" Rúben asks.

"Yeah, just a little something like The Sun posting a video of you two kissing at the Etihad."

"They what?" Mila and Rúben say at the same time, sitting up on the bed.

"What you just heard."

"Holy shit" Mila says.

"How has it been? Too much chaos?" Rúben asks.

"Not really. Most people have had the same reaction we all had when you told us: it was about damn time. I've been discussing it with your agent, and we think it's best if we say nothing. There are no bad reactions beyond the tantrums from your fans who hate Mila, and it hasn't made it to many other news outlets. I'm sorry to say this, but you guys aren't interesting enough."

"Shame" Rúben laughs. "So we just... Keep going with our lives as if nothing happened?"

"Basically" Mila's agent shrugs. "Just do whatever you feel comfortable with. If you want to keep things quiet for a while, do it. If you want to post each other on social media like you always do, keep doing it. And if you want to make it Instagram official, we aren't stopping you either."

"Ok" Mila sighs. "But do we know who sold that video?"

"No idea, they aren't saying a word. Did you see anyone that day after the game? You are inside, and Rúben still is wearing his kit."

"Oh... Oh!" Mila says, hitting Rúben in the arm.

"Ouch! What now?"

"Sasha!"

"Sasha?" he asks.

"She saw us kissing! And she had her phone on her hand, she dropped it, and that's how we noticed her. We didn't see anyone else, just her."

"Why would Sasha sell a video of us kissing?"

"Maybe because she hates me? And now the paparazzis waiting for us outside the restaurant when we went out with her and Jack, make sense. She looked that good on the photos because she knew where they were!"

"Wait a minute" Mila's agent says. "Sasha as in Jack Grealish's girlfriend? You think it was her?"

"Yes!"

"Mila, that's... That's crazy. She would never do something like that" Rúben says.

"Well, she's my number one suspect."

"I'll make some calls tomorrow and see if I can find out anything else. For now, you guys just enjoy your holidays, don't let this ruin them for you."

"Bye" Mila says, hanging up. "But I'm telling you, it was her."

"And I'm telling you it could have been anyone. We were a bit busy in case you don't remember, and someone could have walked behind us and we wouldn't have noticed. We didn't notice her until she dropped her phone."

"That's true" Mila says, biting her lower lip.

"Listen, why don't we eat something and go to bed, uh? You must be exhausted."

"I actually am, yes" she sighs. "A good night of sleep will definitely do me good."

"Breakfast!" she says, showing Rúben the pan where she is cooking.

"I do" she says, flipping the omelet she's making while humming some random song. Humming while moving her hips from side to side, and making Rúben feel... Things.

"Do you still believe it was Sasha the one who sold the video?" he asks, trying to think of anything but Mila's butt.

"After watching the video a few times I'm convinced it was her."

"Really?"

"Yep" she says, picking a plate from the cupboard next to her head, stretching her body in a way that makes Rúben start to feel a bit uncomfortable with his.

"I just don't see the reason why she would do it."

"She's always disliked me and wants to ruin my relationship because she's unhappy on hers" Mila says, turning to look at Rúben, the plate covering her chest.

"You should put on a t-shirt on or something."

"Why?" she laughs, going back to her cooking. "We are alone, this is a private villa. And besides, you always walk around just on your boxers. Why can't I do the same? Why are your boobs allowed to be seen and mine not?"

"Because yours are way more interesting to look at than mine, and they can cause an accident."

"I have to disagree with that. People online go crazy when you show them. They call you Booben for a reason."

"They do what?" Rúben laughs.

"You didn't know?" Mila says, putting the plate with his breakfast in front of him. Even on holidays, he still eats the same.

"I did not."

"Well, now you do. What do you fancy as a drink? Juice or water?"

"I..."

"Rúben... Hey" she says, clicking her fingers in front of his face. "My eyes aren't there."

"I told you your boobs were more interesting to look at than mine" he smirks.

"You should be used to them by now."

"I don't think that'll be possible. Ever."

"This is going to be my outfit this summer, so..." she says, picking up a couple of water bottles and her breakfast and sitting next to him.

"I'll have to try, then" he sighs.

"Seems fair" Rúben laughs. "But even if I try my hardest, seeing you like this may have its consequences."

"Consequences?"

"Who? Me?" Mila says, taking a bite and trying to hide a smile. By now she knows perfectly well how much Rúben likes her hips and her butt. If she wants him to do something, she knows exactly how to motivate him.

"Yes, you. So stop teasing me" he says, threatening her with his fork.

"Ok. I'll tell my inner Shakira to chill."

"Good. But she can come back after breakfast if she wants."

And she did. She came back after breakfast, and a few more times through the day.

Hi sisi!! How are you, I'm in my didi feels rn and I honestly miss her so so much🤧I think I've been following her and keeping up with her blog since mid 2023,and it hit me hard when she revealed that she'll be going on a hiatus the first time, but her leaving rn made me so emotional, and I've never cried over somethings like this but I did. she's one of those people that just bring a smile to my face by just replying to my asks, but for me the most noticeable thing about her is her personality, she's so playful yet respectful and would always reply with so much kindness.

But I can't blame her, and I praise her for all the love she's given people, and ik how hard it must've been for her to keep up with her blog and her studies as well, I'm so proud of her, and what me, you, and everyone have seen her grow into

I said this once I'll say it again, you're a really good person, a person who you can actually call a friend, you may not realise how much you're contributing to this, but the fact that your keeping the blog alive for all the mila and dia lovers to see is amazing

i think i first found dia's blog around that time too. at first i was an anon for her (i still am moon, actually) and i'd told her about my og idea for minyoung before she went on her first hiatus. i still remember it was just a month or two (i think december 2023?) yeah, but after she returned, the whole changing the plot and hence the creation of milakosmos happened. then our baby accidentally deleted her blog. damn i was so scared at that time because enmi-land was gone without a warning. but thankfully due to a lot of people's help with finding the reblogged works they're now safely in her mlist. after that fiasco was the first time i talked to her both on anon and off anon and me being me, ended up accidentally revealing myself to her. but it might have been the best accident because it was just a tumble down the rabbit hole for us both as we discussed each other's story ideas. thinking back really brings tears to my eyes. she's supported me through my indecisive days, my unmotivated days and had always given me nothing but help and encouragements. the whole reason minhypen exists today like it does is because of her tbh. she really is an amazing friend, one i really regret not getting the contact details from. but seriously, i really really really hope her med entrance exams go well and she becomes the skilled doctor i believe she's capable of being. it honestly is more of a chance happening that i got close to dia and she ended up entrusting me with her blog, but the credit to that goes to the universe. the only thing i'm doing is not deleting my account, which is like, out of the question anyways. but thanks you for the praise still <3 and i hope you're doing fine as well XOXO

Abby:

Abby is based on Abby Anderson and Ellie Williams (Ellie is her face claim, but she has Abby's nose) from The Last of Us. Two of my favourite characters! They are so complex and an incredible source of inspiration!

(this is not Cannon, it's from a Roleplay that maybe we turn into a fic or something 👁️👁️) Abby is from 2030 but she accidentally time traveled to 1981. Aleks (@alypink) and Mila (@efingart) try to help her get back to her time. IT'S FULL OF DRAMA, I live for that RP I hope we can bring something soon hahaha!

Abby is a really nervous kid. Always has to have her hands occupied playing with things. She has an old lighter and she's always playing with it (Like a good Black Ops Introduction yeaah🕯️). And she also has a butterfly knife, she's still learning how to use it but she's getting better every time.

Abby plays the classic guitar, whenever she can. It's like her comfort hobby. Her mother taught her how to play it, and the sound of the instrument always brings her home. She almost feels like her mother is with her when she plays.

When she was a kid she found a picture of her grandfather Mason talking with a Woman. She didn't recognise that woman, Woods never talked about her, and when she asked Frank avoided the question, like that woman wasn't important or relevant, but she could see a storm of emotions in those old eyes, emotions too complicated for a 13 year old. "Just a long story Kid." But Abby was still curious, even after all those years Abby still wonders who that woman is. Spoiler: That Woman was Mila (@efingart) 🫢 Here's the comic!!👀

Abby has green eyes as a reference of Mason from Black ops 1, (in black ops 2 and cold war he has brown eyes)

Sparrow:

Sparrow's closest friends are Alyssa Martinez (@alypink) and Damien Whitlock (@kaitaiga) but before Damien, there was Daniel Greenhill. The three of them met in a rescue mission in Russia, they spent several weeks together and they forged an amazing friendship.

After her accident in K2, Sparrow didn't want to see anyone. Not even her family or friends. She thought her cuts and wounds would scare them, also she's always in a terrible mood when it comes to recovery. But Aly kicked the door of her house and stayed with her during all her healing process, physical and emotional. Daniel joined not long after, when He got news that Sparrow was out of the Hospital he took a plane and went to help her too. As a medic Daniel helped her a lot with the stitches, pills, and recovery. Always scolding her for doing something that she shouldn't do in her state. Like working out, or going to work as a mechanic in her garage. Daniel and Aly saved Sparrow in so many aspects and she'll always be in debt with them.

The way she met Damien is a little bit curious. The 2CO did an emergency stop at the Armed Swiss forces HQ. As soon as Daniel found out that Sparrow was there he rushed to see her. Of course his inseparable friend Damien followed him, curious to know about this "Sparrow" that Daniel talks about sometimes. They didn't get along in the beginning, forced to go to a mission together but in the end they found out that they have more things in common and a great friendship started. After all, after Daniel's death they only had each other as comfort. Aly and Sparrow had to help Damien to get through that pain, no matter how much it hurts for the two of them too.

Sparrow HATES Shadow Company, after all that happened in Las Almas and the betrayal, she can't stand Graves. She never liked him, not even when they were allies. So you can imagine her reaction when she had to work with Shadow Company again in MW3. She was willing to rip out Grave's guts as soon as she saw him. But out of love and respect to Anna (@applbottmjeens), she didn't do it. She took it very personal when she found out what he did to her Gremlin. But she respected Anna's decision and managed to tolerate Graves, just enough to not kill him at first sight. So yeah, her friendship with your oc Squirrel would take time, but I'm sure they'll be good friends in the end heheheh.

Sparrow has a dog. A female Argentine doggo. That Aly (@alypink) rescued it from illegal dog fights. When Alyssa saw her she immediately knew that Sparrow would love her. And she did! As soon as she saw that dog, she took it home with her. Her name is Tora, she has scars like Sparrow, and she's also missing an eye from the dog fights.

Now, about her relationship with Amara, I don't want to give a lot of details, because I'm working on the next chapter of her love story. But what I can say is that Sparrow fell hard, really hard. She wasn't the kind of woman who falls in love so easily. She was more of enjoying a one night stand. It had been so long since her last serious relationship that in the beginning she didn't know what to really do. "Well I have a girlfriend.... Now What?"

But soon she found out what she was capable of doing for Amara. Literally everything. All she wanted to do is make her happy.

Amara:

Amara hates the military and everything related to it. Her father was a S.A.S soldier, and he wasn't a very present father in her life, even though he loved her with all her heart. And after all those years, and a well deserved retirement, he got killed by S.A.S soldiers, when he was heavily injured in a terrorist attack, because for the soldiers it was better to end his life quickly than extend his suffering. All of that in front of a really young Amara who was begging for his father's life.

So yeah, she has strong opinions on the military. But life had other plans for her and brought Sparrow to her life hahaha!

Amara had a toxic relationship before Sparrow, so it took her time to get used to being treated like the Queen she deserves to be. Having mixed feelings, trying to understand why Sparrow was so nice and good for her without wanting anything in return.

Amara is a stripper, her job is not a secret. She started because she needed the money, but in the end she enjoyed it, she loved to dance. But when she started her relationship with she got a little bit insecure about Sparrow's opinion on her job. Obviously Sparrow didn't mind, it was a job after all, and she was her supportive girlfriend #1.

Amara has an old black Sphynx Cat called Kuro. It was her mother's cat and when she passed away, Amara adopted him, and he has followed her in every step of her life.

I love Amara's fashion style. It's so different from mine! I swear this woman always takes my breath (and Sparrow's) away. (She's team all black hahaha)

I like to say that Amara is a little bit like a witch. She knows how to read tarot cards, how to clean a house with Lignum Vitae... So every time Sparrow has to go on a mission, she secretly shuffles the tarot cards, and checks how the mission will go. If the cards aren't good, she usually gives a protective stone like white quartz to Sparrow. Sparrow always listens to her even though she doesn't really understand how it works.

my thoughts on camren is a little complicated right now. pursuing a law degree has really made me a whole different person. no matter which topic i'm talking about, i can't help but think about both the sides without bias.

while talking about camren there are still major things to be considered. like, are they still together? if yes then why don't they come out, the world today is a little more forgiving than the world 10yrs ago was, right? are they not together? why not?

months ago i made this post stating that i listened to mila and lauren's albums and songs fully from top to bottom and a lotta things are clear to me from it, especially mila's pov. but i never really got around to the point where i could make a solid post about them, cuz it's just too painful for me. camren has been my anchor since they saved my life all those years back.

mila talks a lot about how for 2yrs (idk which 2 years exactly she's talking about in her songs) there's been this push and pull in their relationship. and lauren comes and talks about the same 2yrs and how she doesn't feel like she can rely for a relationship on mila anymore.

from what i can decipher from their songs is that they aren't together anymore and it's causing both of them a lot of pain. but the lawyer in me can't help but hope that in some way or form they are together.

they were children during the 5h days and all 5 of them have grown up soooo much. especially lauren who's changed drastically. she's always been atuned to the spiritual and patriotic side of her since her early days, and now that she has more freedom in expressing herself, she's been doing just that lately.

mila on the other hand, i'm sorry but i'm really scared on what is going on with her. this is even worse than the familia era. she's been on hiatus for almost a year and a half and the music video for the single that she released recently makes me wanna question a lot of things.

if camren were in a relationship, i don't think they'll be acting unhinged like this. we know how they were during the 5h era. thoughtful and creative and lively and carefree. but the mila and lauren i'm seeing now, are far from the 5h mila and lauren. they've changed a lot.

even if all the evidences now point to the fact that camren aren't together anymore, i still will not lose hope, and i still no matter what happens, will continue to ship them. i won't be obnoxious about it, nor will i pester them about it. i will be respectful and make this blog my battlefield when everybody else are either giving up or retreating. i will stand my ground and provide anchor for anybody who is willing to hop aboard this ship. so to answer your question, yes. i am still a camren shipper even when deep down i know they still aren't together anymore.

Miles knocked on the door to Nayeon's apartment, waiting patiently until the door opened to reveal his daughter's mother.

"Miles," Nayeon muttered with an arched brow. "What are you doing here? You're not supposed to get Mila until this weekend."

"I know but I wanted us to talk," Miles replied.

"And it couldn't wait until you came to pick up Mila?"

"No," he shook his head and Nayeon sighed heavily before stepping aside.

"Come in then." Miles walked inside, quickly toeing off his shoes and sitting down on the couch.

"Where's Mila?" He wondered.

"With my parents, they picked her up from school to spend time with her," she reported before sitting down on the couch as well, a noticeable distance from her baby daddy. "What's up?"

"Well, I wanted us to talk because the animosity between us is too much," Miles said. "And I feel like it's getting in the way of us raising Mila."

"There's animosity because of you being a dick head and dating other women while I was pregnant!" Nayeon exclaimed. "And there's also when you questioned whether or not Mila was yours."

"I didn't mean that," Miles interjected quickly. "I was just surprised that you were even pregnant and I didn't know how to react."

"So your first reaction is to basically call me a slut?" She scoffed. "Have you ever heard the saying 'a woman never forgets how she was treated during a vulnerable time in her life?'"

"Yeahhh, my hyung actually explained that to me not too long ago," he sighed. "He's the one that said I needed to talk to you."

"You know, that's another thing: why do you always have to be told to do the right thing?" She wondered. "When I was pregnant, the right thing would've been for you to stay by my side and help me. Instead, I leaned on my parents and we barely spoke."

"Every time we spoke, all you did was scream at me and it would turn into a shouting match," Miles reminded her. "I didn't want to cause you stress so I just stayed away."

"You didn't care," Nayeon shot back.

"So that's why you filed for sole custody?" He demanded to know. "Because you assumed that I don't care?"

"Your father and brother had to talk you into even showing up to the hospital when Mila was born! A father that cared wouldn't have to be convinced!"

"Ok, I'm sorry," Miles replied. "I'm sorry for the way that I reacted when I found out that you were pregnant. I'm sorry for not staying with you during your pregnancy and making sure that you were alright while you carried my child. That was the least I could've done. And I'm so sorry that I was late getting to the hospital when she was born and almost missed it. Truth is, I didn't know if you were gonna let me be there and I was terrified of showing up and you turning me away. If you had, it would've broken my heart."

"Really?"

"Really," he nodded emphatically. "Nay, in spite of how I acted during your pregnancy, I loved you. Hell, I still do because without you, I wouldn't have Mila and she's the best thing that's ever happened in my life."

"Mines too," Nayeon smiled softly. "You know, it's hard for me sometimes because I hate how you handled the situation but then I look at Mila, who's just like you, and all I can feel is happiness because you gave me her."

"Nay, I'm not just saying all this because my hyung said I should talk to you," he began. "I know that there won't be us again which is honestly probably for the best but I do want us to be able to coparent effectively for Mila. She's the innocent one in all of this."

"You're right and I don't like fighting with you, Miles," she nodded.

"So you'll drop the sole custody petition?" He wondered hopefully.

"Yes but after we talk more about what us raising her together will look like," Nayeon said. "I want to be sure that you're serious about this."

"I am!" Miles nodded happily. "I swear, you'll see."
