UNFILTERED! Hawks Playlist!!
@twicedbyhawks Here you go, doll~.
It has some funny ones, but I feel a lot of them fit his personality. I'll make a more serious, focused playlist for you later
(Note, there a lot of songs that have bird puns in them too that are perfect. Like Sucker starts with "birds of a feather" and you can't tell me this man isn't a sucker for love come on...)
BUT ANYWAYS YEAH (very stark contrast to my general music taste but it fits him in a multitude of ways so pardon my disorganization<3)
#kenji rambles👾#I'm a metal head#sorry haha#I also like old emo punk type music#my mom pulls up playlists from when she was a kid and what her class wouldve deemed emo and gives it to me#I adore Arctic Monkeys#Slipknot holds my heart#I'll stop ranting now. We can discuss my music taste later--#hawks#bnha#mha#Spotify

EATING UP UR WRITING OMFGGG ???? U WRITE TOBY SO WELL ITS EXACTLY HOW I HAVE HIM IN MY HEAD I LOVE IT !!!!!!!!!!
do u think by any chance u could write somethin for toby with a fem emo/grunge reader? sfw or nsfw is good !!!! thank u soso much :) 💘💘💘💘
why yes I can! Sorry it took a while, life, y’know?
I’m so glad you like how I write him!!
ticci toby x emo/grunge reader headcanons
He genuinely thinks it’s fucking sick
He’s never.. put effort into his appearance, really. He’s never been motivated, after all, what’s the point? No matter if he dressed perfectly and brushed his hair every day he’d still.. be him. Fucked up hands and a fucked up face.
So he admires you for it.
also thinks you’re so pretty…
Not uncommon to find him just staring at you with a stupid grin on his face. How did he pull that? Big tiddy emo gf/ref wants him??
he’d blast your music with you!! I imagine his taste is similar, rocky punky type beat, so you could both jam out until the other pastas told you to stfu 😭
I think he’d steal stuff off his victims for you. Punk is all about reusing and getting old things instead of getting new ones, right? Well, looting dead bodies counts, he thinks.
brother might even start hunting alt people just so he can get you pretty stuff he’d know you’d like 😭. Patches, jewellery, jackets, shirts, anything and everything that makes him think of you.
”Toby this shirt you got me smells like blood-“ “nuh-no reason!!”
would let you do his eyeliner 100%
bonus points if you sit on his lap while doing it (he WILL pop a boner)
will shoplift you monster cans :) and give you the tabs.
I’ve always imagined Toby as a piercing enthusiast, I think he’d like how it gave him some sense of control over how his body looked, and also it’s not like he can feel pain, so what’s the downside? So he’d also think it was super cool if you had peircings
and if you didn’t (and wanted some) he’d happily give you some himself honestly
also he’d probably find it hot. They say pierced nipples taste like house keys, well you know what they say, there’s no place like home
Grahhh sorry if it’s short or not what you wanted!! Thanks for the request, nonny!!!

I've been into scene and emo music and fashion since I was very young and I'm currently 22 years old and let me just say that me and my friend who was scene growing up would have been listening to 6arelyhuman's music.
(While scene music is made up of crunkcore, electronicore, metalcore and pop punk specifically neon pop punk lots of people just call it scene music to keep things short and simple so thats what I'm doing :3)
People have considered s3rl's music has been popular in the scene while being considered to be scene music and Nevershoutnever's music is also popular in the scene and considered scene music and Brokencyde's music is scene yet all of those artists are so different from each other so why isn't 6arelyhuman's music scene music? Because it definitely is. Scene music isn't just made up of one genre.
(Even Kesha's music was super popular in the scene community! :3)
Its okay to say you don't like 6arelyhuman's music but it definitely is scene and I feel like one of the issues we have is how we really like to box things in nowadays and we just end up gatekeeping more than we really should and in the end things become more complicated and lots of fighting and we see people arguing over stuff that is very silly.
I am personally tired of constantly putting things and creativity in restraining boxes when it doesn't make any sense or i know that it feels wrong. That's not because I'm trying to be better than anyone but because I have lots of experience because this has been something I have been into for a long time and experienced growing up.
I also feel that we don't talk enough about how the scene intersects a lot. Pop punk bands have made emo songs, pop punk bands have been considered scene, both scene and emo kids listen to post hardcore and metalcore etc. Like it intersects A LOT and a lot of these bands in the scene have also toured together and have been in festivals together like Warped Tour.
(6arelyhuman definitely would have been playing on Warped Tour if they made music back when Warped Tour was alive and active :3)
I'm just tired of seeing the gatekeeping and the arguing, I've seen this so many times in the past especially in the emo community and I'm tired of seeing it everywhere and it's sad seeing it still happen. It reminds me of when I see metalheads gatekeep on Facebook lolz! I want to add that I'm not trying to shame those who say these types of things because I know that they are most likely minors who are still new to the scene and are just trying to find their way around and are still learning and looking for advice, I used to be exactly like that but as someone who has been into this stuff for a long time I just felt like I needed to speak up. This has been a huge part of my life and has been my special interest for so long and the urge to want to say something has been craaaaazzzzyyyy lolz!
Another thing I want to add is that there is nothing bad about growth and change either even if it can be scary at times, sometimes it's not always a bad thing and is needed for a community to continue to thrive. Artists like 6arelyhuman help people get into the scene and get into other scene and emo artists.
And that's a good thing :3
So let's encourage growth, change and inclusion. That's what the scene should be about <3

Chapter 1: Gravity Falls
Dipper POV
I stare out the window, holding the note Wendy gave me that day 12 years ago. After so long, those years of endless torture from my family, I can finally be free.
No, we can finally be free.
Bill....
Oh, how I missed that damn dream, demon. Years of planning and years of research. The moment weirdmaganen ended and gravity falls was back to normal, something in me felt off. I couldn't stop thinking about Bill.
All I wanted was Bill. The moment he took over my body filled me with so much desire when I got my body back. It's as if he left a piece of himself inside of me. A permanent reminder that I would always be his.
But of course, I was too young and stupid to understand such feelings. Those feelings for Wendy were my hormones raging for some form of attraction for anything that looked appealing. And Wendy took the cake.
I watch as the trees fly by the window of the bus. I yawn, taking a glance at Mable, who is bouncing in her seat next to me. For someone who's 25 years old, she sure still acts like a 13 year old.
Nothing really changed since the two of us left. I grew facial hair and gained a few inches over mable. Came out as gay to my parents, who completely disowned me. Mable was hardly ever in the picture during that time in my life. She was always out partying or hooking up with some guy.
But of course, she was always everyone's favorite. She lacked the awkwardness I gained that should have been equally split between the two of us! Honestly, I hate claiming her as my twin at times.
Her personality stayed the same as well. Still as selfish and naive as ever, which comes in handy at times. We grew distant when I started to change. I felt my personality grow darker compared to her sunshine and rainbows one.
People grew eerie of me by the time I turned 16. Rock music became my best friend, but I wasn't a punk rock emo gothic freak. Those depressed waste of space really piss me off. Maybe that's why I hated Robbie so much. All the fake angst and unnecessary anger grew annoying and out of place, in my opinion. Hopefully, he grew up and gained some balls since I've been gone.
The bullying at school ended once I learned how to fight and throw knives. Knives became my most favorite thing in the world. The sharp yet light blade, the different types of beautiful leather handles. I brought my whole collection with me.
Oh, I guess I forgot to mention I'm moving here. Coming out as gay to my parents while also adding that I'm not going to college really added to the hatred they now shared for me. But it didn't bother me, I left a little gift for the both of them under their bed. I guess I won't be hearing from them for the rest of my life. I chuckle to myself at the thought.
Mable looks at me, tilting her head to the side. "What's funny dip n dop?"
I jump, my smile now in a thin line, "Something you wouldn't understand, Mable."
"Oh, come on, Dipper! You never say anything to me!" She whines while shaking my shoulder aggressively.
One of the things I made clear to Mable over the years is to never touch me. I turn my head to look down at her frame, glaring into her eyes. "Don't. Touch. Me." I said through my teeth.
Mable quickly pulls away and looks down, nuzzling her head against waddles. "S-sorry Dipper. I always forget...."
I roll my eyes but smile and flick her forehead. "Whatever, cheer up. We're here."
Mable looks out the mirror and cheers, already up from her seat and running to the double doors of the bus. And I'm left with the bags, no surprise there. I carry my things on my back while placing her bags under my arms.
I walk off the bus with a sigh, still carrying our bags. Mable is currently in a group hug with Candy and Grenda. I notice Wendy patting her head with Robbie standing beside her. I raise an eyebrow at the rings on their fingers. I'm trying my best to hold back laughter. Those two got married?!
I glance back to Mable and see Pacifica. Her blonde hair is so bright that it's blinding. Standing next to her is Gideon. They didn't look much different, but at least gideon ditched that stupid suit. I finally noticed Soes and my Grunkles. Stan looked the same, but Stanford seemed to age a bit. Maybe stress from researching too much.
"Oh guys, I missed so you Much! And I'm so happy for you two!" Mable cheers, looking at Robbie and Wendy.
Robbie scratches the back of his head as a light blush tents around his cheeks. He looks down, pouting. "Whatever."
"Lighten up, Rob. And thanks, Mable. Never thought I would fall for him again. A lot has changed."
I chuckle, shaking my head at her words. "Damn right it has."
All eyes are on me now. I raise an eyebrow, shrugging my shoulder. "What?"
"Is that really you, Dipper Pines?" Gideon asks in shock.
"Oh wow, Dipper, nice glow up." Pacifica winks.
"Heh, you're finally taller than Mable. Congrats, man." Wendy said, walking over to me for a hug.
I laugh and hug back the best way I could since I'm carrying all of our bags. "Thanks, I guess."
"Kid finally got some muscle!" Stan cheers while patting me on my back. Stanford nods his head and smiles.
"Well, why are we just standing around here for? We have a surprise for you two, my dudes." Soos said while walking forward towards the mystery shake.
Once, Soos opens the door, Mable and I are greeted by cheers of happiness. "WELCOME BACK MYSTERY TWINS!"
Mable rushes in and hugs almost everyone while I stand there and simply wave. The party starts right after we arrive. I sigh, walking up the stairs with Stanford behind me.
"So how have you been, Dipper? Are there any plans for college?"
I shake my head, opening the first door to Mable's and I old room. "Nope. I see no reasoning in college when I'm one of the most bright minded people in this world. College would just be a waste of my brain and time." I said, ending with a yawn.
"You have a point, but having a college degree makes job seeking easier." He pointed out. "And by the way, this will be your own room. Mable has the other room across the hall."
I roll my eyes. Of course, she gets the bigger room - the same room we fought over that day. I smile, dropping my bags near my old bed. "That's great! Thanks, grunkle Ford."
"No problem. I am looking forward to making new discoveries with my great nephew again." He smiles and pats my shoulder. "I'll meet you back downstairs." He said while walking out.
I hum as I unload my things, fixing my room up to my liking. It didn't take long. All I have are my books, journals, knives, and necessities. I walk to Nable's room and throw her bags on the bed. This really is unfair, and it's getting under my skin.
I walk down the stairs, digging my nails into my skin while scratching my arm too hard. I grab a soda from the table and take my place in a corner of the room. While I observe everyone, I notice Pacifica glancing at Mable from time to time. I chuckle, taking a sip of my drink. I knew she had a thing for my twin sister. That'll come in handle one day.
I look to my right, catching Candy and Gideon staring at me. They both quickly turn their heads, faces covered in blush. Does Candy still have that stupid crush on me? Ugh, that'll be annoying, but what's the deal with Gideon?
Candy begins to walk towards me, her smile determining but her eyes nervous. "Hello, Dipper."
"Hm." I said, taking another sip of my drink.
"So how have you been these past years? Have a girlfriend, maybe?"
I chuckle, looking down at her. "Cutting right to the chase, huh?"
She blushes and laughs. "How can I not? You've grown extremely attractive since I last saw you."
"It's called puberty candy. And I was 13 the last time you saw me. I'm 25 now."
She nods her head, "Yes....so I was wondering... now that we both matured..if you wanted to give us a try?"
I try my best to hold back my laughter. Gideon stared at us the whole time, jealously. Hurting her feelings would bring joy, but I can't give my true self away.
"Sorry to break it to you, Candy, but I don't swing that way."
Her eyes widen as if they're being squeezed out of her eyesockets. "YOU'RE GAY?!" She shouts loud enough for everyone to hear.
I sigh heavily, all eyes on us. I did not want this type of attention. I didn't want the whole town knowing I enjoy dick up my ass. That's none of their business. Now I'm regretting not telling her in the harshest way that even if I weren't gay, and if she was the last woman on earth, I'd rather die than to be left alone in her presence.
"You're what Dipper?" Wendy asks a bit taken aback herself, which is understandable.
"Oh wow, dude. Never thought you'd go that way." Soos pips in.
Pacifica didn't seem like she cared. I'm pretty sure it's because of her secret as well. Gideon, on the other hand, looks hopeful. The thought of hooking up with him actually makes my flesh crawl.
I chug down the rest of my drink, crushing the can with my hands. This was so annoying and stupid. "Yes, I'm gay. It's 2019 people. Keep up with the times, and if you have a problem with it, then -" I was cut off by a loud phone ringing.
Stanford and grunkle Stan shake from their shock, and Stan picks up the phone. "What is it?" He answers rudely.
"Yes, that's me. Now that do you -......what?!" He shouts, his eyes filling with dread and grief. "Ok....Thank you. Bye."
Stan ends the phone call, pulling Stanford to the side. He told him whatever the news was, his demeanor shifting. My gunkles turn to both me and Mable, who looks really worked up. "What is it grunkle Stan? What's the matter?" She questions.
"Kids....there's no good way I can say this but, you're parents are dead. A bomb was placed under their bed, and it went off the moment they both laid down....the police have no idea who could've done this. The house is completely destroyed.
The shack is filled with gaps and apologetic expressions towards the Pines family. Mable breaks down into tears, falling to her knees. I force myself to look as hurt as I can. I reach down to lift Mable up, trying to calm her down. Luckily, her friends helped.
Once the news settled, and everyone left, the party is shut down. Robbie, Wendy, Pacifica, Candy, Grenda, and Gideon offer to stay and help clean while Mable, and I head to bed. Mable wishes me goodnight, pulling me into a tight hug.
My face remains blank, but I hug her nonetheless. "Just get some rest tomorrow, mable. They're find who did that to our parents.."
Lies.
She nods her head and pulls away. She walks into her room as I do the same. I sit down on the edge of my bed, reaching for one of my journals. Before I can open it, the door to my room opens. I quickly place it under my blanket, turning around to face who's at my door. It's just my Grunkles.
"Hey Dipper, how are you holding up?" Stan asks while sitting to my right.
I nod my head, staring at my hands.
Stanford sits to my left, rubbing his hand up and down my back in a soothing motion. "We know you're trying to stay strong for Mable, but it's alright to cry."
What am I, five? I nod my head as tears begin to fall. "Wh-who could have done this?" I ask, my voice cracking.
Stanford and Stan pull me into a hug as I sob. "It's ok, Dipper. You and Mable will stay with us. We're here for you guys. Everyone is." Stanford said.
I nod my head, pulling away from the both of them. "Th-Thanks you two....but I would like to be alone right now."
They both nod their heads. "We understand, Dipper. We all need time, and it's ok that you're gay. We still love you the same." Stan said before standing and leaving the room.
"If you need us, we'll be downstairs." Stanford said.
I nod my head, watching them leave. I stand and walk to my door, locking it. I rush to my bed and jump in it, pulling out my journal from under my blanket. I lay on my back, opening the journal. Tears still falling from my eyes, I gently glaze my hands over the first page. Bill's circle. I feel my frown quickly stretch into a smile as I turn to the second page, Bill's human form.
Oh, how he looks so godly. How tan he is, that damn bright yellow tux. Those sparkling locks of hair that I could run my fingers through all day. His twisted smile, I can just hear his laugh bouncing inside my skull.
I place the journal on my chest as I start to laugh. I start from chuckling to heavy cackling. I place a hand over my mouth so my laughter won't be heard throughout the shack. The rush of soon seeing Bill taking completely over me. I slowly close my eyes, thinking of the little song he used to play.
Don't know where
Don't know, wheeeeeen~
Til we meet again...
"Some sunny day...."
"Haha! See ya soon, Pinetree!~"

★ creepypasta music headcanons ★
characters mentioned:
ticci toby, nina the killer, jane the killer, clockwork, eyeless jack, jeff the killer.
★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆
WARNINGS (?)
I apologize if any of the genres are wrong, I looked most of them up on google.
I do not own any of the songs/albums I'm also not part of the bands mentioned, nor am I the singer/songwriter.
I claim NO ownership to any of them.
Also, if any of these bands/singers are involved in any serious controversies, please tell me so I can replace them.
Please understand that these are headcanons, and may not be 100% accurate to the characters themselves.
(I just felt like I should say that before I start this)
★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆
Ticci toby
Midwestern emo / indie rock
Duster, modern baseball, the smiths, mom jeans, neutral milk hotel, merchant ships, etc.
He thinks he's super cool and special because of his music taste
He's the type of person to say stuff like "YOU CAN'T POSSIBLY LIKE THIS SONG THE WAY I LIKE THIS SONG"
he will argue with someone over the smiths
He likes to sit outside in the snow and smoke a cigarette while listening to music, even though he got hypothermia once from doing that.
Nina the killer
crunkcore / metalcore / rap
Bullet for my valentine, brokencyde, millionaires, breathe carolina, dot dot curve, hollywood undead, etc.
she goes around the manor saying "BANG, BANG, BANG, BANG, POW, POW, POW, POW" (dot dot curve song reference) all the time, and it gets on everyone's nerves
there's not a time when she isn't listening to music tbh, even when she's out killing
sometimes she'll make her victims listen to one of her playlists and rate it, if they give it a good rating she'll give them a fast and easy death, but if they give it a bad rating.. slow and painful.
Clockwork
rock and roll / glam metal
Joan jett & the blackheart's, guns n' roses, the rolling stones, ramones, queen, the runaways, etc.
Joan jett is her idol
Her walls are COVERED in band posters, and she also collects old magazines just cause she thinks they're cool
She knows how to play guitar, the only reason she learned how to play was because of slash from guns n' roses
She will try to fight you if you talk shit about her favorite bands
Jane the killer
dark wave / post punk / gothic rock
siouxsie and the banshees, she past away, bauhaus, the cure, london after midnight, lycia etc
She's a fan of the cure, tobys a fan of the smiths.. they fight, a lot.
she collects a lot of cd/tapes of her favorite bands, and plays them ALLLL the time
if she's not too busy sometimes she'll go to a goth club, she doesn't really dance though.. she'll just stand at the back of the club and vibe
She usually doesn't care about other people's opinions when it comes to music, but if you diss robert smith she's throwing hands.
Eyeless Jack
Alternative hip-hop / britpop / psychedelic pop
Blur, tame Impala, oasis, MF DOOM, beastie boys, out kast, etc.
he will correct you if you spell it "mf doom" instead of "MF DOOM" but other than that, he's a pretty chill guy
He secretly thinks that blur is a bit better than oasis, but he'll never say that out loud.
he doesn't take music too seriously
he has a "each to their own" mentality when it comes to music
he does collect records though, and if he sees even a tiny scratch on one of his records he freaks out.
If you need a good playlist to listen to during a smoke sesh, he's your guy.
Jeff the killer
dsbm / hardcore punk / death metal
Woods of desolation, bathory, cradle of filth, forgotten tomb, carcass, the exploited, etc.
Regularly calls people "posers" and he will make you name eight songs instead of five
he thinks any other music is overrated, and will voice that opinion.
Average reddit user (I'm sorry)
He looks cool as hell in corpse paint though
He frequently goes to shows, but he has no "mosh pit etiquette" if he sees someone fall, he'll just stomp over them and continue moshing.

What type of music would the counselors listen to?
I know some of my mutuals have answered this question before and I'm sure my headcanons will be influenced by theirs, AND I'm also significantly older than the counselors so they're probably listening to gen z stuff my late millennial ass doesn't even know about but here goes nothing!
Laura So much SIØBHAN! Just kidding. Laura feels like two completely different characters in the game so I have a hard time deciding what I think spunky but straight-laced, ‘this is my first cop,’ over-achieving pre-vet student Laura Kearney would listen to vs badass avenging murder spree Laura Kearney (but maybe she always had that inside her). Part of me wants to say, like, 80’s pop (Prince, Blondie, Tiffany, Michael Jackson, Pat Benetar, etc.) and part of me wants to put her in the hard rock/metal zone with Ryan. Maybe she’s a bit of both.
Max I believe it was Addie (@insertlovelyperson) who said Max would listen to country music where women murder their cheating or abusive husbands. That tracks to me. Maybe it's the use of Alma Cogan's version of 'Fly Me to the Moon' in the game, but I also tend to associate him with crooner type singers of the 40's and 50's (Frank Sinatra, Perry Como, Dean Martin, etc), which is what I said he'd choose for karaoke. And because of this fanart I have no choice but to HC him as a major Ariana Grande fan, he's probably the one who chose the music for the drive to camp. So. Max has range.
Abi is the K-Pop/J-Pop stan to me but I know so little about that music beyond the crossover bands like BTS that I can't speak to it a whole lot. I think she'd also like some emo, pop-punk and moodier alt/pop. Avril Lavigne, Paramore, Melanie Martinez, Florence and the Machine, Metric, Lorde, Halsey, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Billie Eilish, Phoebe Bridgers/boygenius, etc. I feel like she's really into female fronted bands for some reason.
Jacob likes pretty much whatever is on the radio. He's a top 40 guy and has no shame about his enjoyment of Ed Sheeran and Justin Beiber, or about ugly crying to Taylor Swift and Coldplay. He rarely listens closely to the actual lyrics (and often gets them humorously wrong), he just goes on vibes. He discovers half the music he listens to via TikTok (not that there's anything wrong with that).
Emma is a theater kid through and through and loves broadway musicals. She goes through phases with each popular one. She's had a Waitress phase, a Mamma Mia phase, a Wicked phase, and a Hamilton phase, of course, and now she's into Mean Girls, Heathers, and Hadestown. Beyond that, I think she'd be a dedicated Swiftie, big Adele fan, and a lover of Britney Spears's entire body of work from the 90's through today.
Nick probably listens to stoner bro music. Like jam bands and psychedelic rock and stuff. He probably likes Dave Matthews Band and the Grateful Dead/Dark Star Orchestra, Sublime, Widespread Panic, Tame Impala, and O.A.R. Googling jam bands to remind myself which ones exist led me to the knowledge that there's an Australian psychedelic rock band called King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard and that name is so bonkers that I've decided without listening to more than a few bars that it has to be Nick's favorite band.
Ryan is a little bit emo and a little bit goth and a little bit old school punk. He needs music that's loud and moody to help sort out his feelings about life and drown out all the excess noise inside his head. He's into metal, the harder side of emo/screamo, goth rock, hard rock, punk, and post-punk. He definitely listens to Nightwish, GOJIRA, Mastodon, Lacuna Coil, Linkin Park, Rage Against the Machine, Bauhaus, Joy Division, Nine Inch Nails, Deftones, Thursday, Alkaline Trio, My Chemical Romance, AFI, Bad Religion, Black Flag, Minor Threat, The Misfits, Ramones, etc. He doesn't hate more accessible pop and rock music, but the closest he gets to choosing it for himself is probably something like The Cure or The Smashing Pumpkins or Depeche Mode, maybe some of the creepier Weeknd songs and Muse tracks too heavy to go on the Twilight soundtracks. He and Abi listen to Babymetal together.
Kaitlyn classic rock and 90's alternative. This girl likes the Stones more than the Beatles, though she'll listen to both. Led Zeppelin, Joan Jett, Pink Floyd, The Doors, Black Sabbath, the occasional hair band. She especially loves the 90's girl rockers like Alanis Morisette, Garbage, Hole, Veruca Salt, and No Doubt (Kaitlyn can't believe Gwen Stefani is married to pop-country dork Blake Shelton who sings that song about being your honey bee, because Gwen used to be so cool [I'm definitely not projecting]). I feel like she'd also love Bikini Kill and Sleater Kinney, Le Tigre, and The Donnas.
Dylan is the Music Guy ™ (and my personal bias/url namesake), so I've admittedly thought about his musical tastes more than most of the others'. The official Quarry website mentions his 'deep musical knowledge' and I imagine he has pretty broad views on what constitutes good music. He's got kind of a vintage vibe to him, maybe it's the reproduction band shirt from 1988, or the fact that he's into analog technology, or both, but I've noticed he's often depicted playing Queen or Bowie or something of that era in fics, which I think is realistic. This kid goes to the used record store and just buys whatever looks cool.
Fun Fact: According to the datamine, the chapters originally had literary or musical quotes at the beginning of each, and Chapter 5: White Noise (the radio hut chapter) was originally headed by the opening lyrics from Queen's 'Radio Ga Ga':
He's also the only character we see play music in canon, so we know he likes... songs from random compilation albums with inexpensive royalties. XD Just kidding, but these are the diegetic (in-universe) songs we get to hear from Dylan's playlist at the bonfire party:
All pop music of varying subtypes, so we know he appreciates a well-crafted pop song. I honestly am a fan of all of these. I think Dylan genuinely listens to everything but he seems like the type to especially like alt and indie pop, classic rock, garage rock, a bit of the more melodic side of punk, emo, and pop-punk, new wave, synth pop, electronic, and a little bit of hip hop that’s sufficiently nerdy white boy friendly (probably Beastie Boys, Run the Jewels, Post Malone, emo rap like Blackbear, etc). I also tend to gravitate towards early-mid aughts indie for him, like MGMT, Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes, OK Go, LCD Soundsystem, etc. Just seems to match his vibe. I think he'd really like BØRNS, Hozier, COIN, Mitski, and K.Flay and probably have a fair amount of overlap with Ryan's more melodic picks (MCR, Muse, The Cure, etc). Dylan probably hates Morrissey but begrudgingly loves The Smiths and definitely cranks up The Killers in his car. He’s also listening to bands right now that you’ve never heard of but will be huge in a couple years. He can probably tell you the difference between subgenres like chillwave, dream pop, and shoegaze but don’t ask me about it because I have no fucking clue.
Since we’re on the subject, here’s my absurdly long and ever-growing Rylan/Radioheads playlist because I have a problem.
And my Sweet Summer Jams playlist, that’s just a bunch of random songs I think would be clean enough to play at a summer camp as long as the kids/your boss don’t ask too many questions.

Hello, I have a hopefully not dumb but maybe dumb question for you? As a baby writer punk, I’m working on a magical-girl style superhero comic. And the leader has a punk aesthetic. And I’m unsure of how to correctly dress a punk character?
I swear I had this whole answer typed up to post and it just. Didnt. Screaming. Anyways, not a dumb question, especially for someone still getting into the scene (or even just for the sake of research for a character)
I wanna start with pointing out that being a punk and having a punk aesthetic are two different things. For example, here are two outfits I’ve thrown on my floor that I’ve worn out of my house in the last week:
These are obviously very different aesthetics, but no matter which one Im in, Im still a punk. Just wanted to mame sure that was out there
Okay moving on from my clothes, Im assuming you want people to be able to look at your character and be able to visually tell that they are a punk. To do that, we are going to lean into some stereotypes. Here are some ideas that you may want to consider incorporating:
Weird Hair - having dyed hair or a wacky cut is very common in punk. Mohawks and shaved heads are classics, but some modern alt looks include mullets too!
Leather - og punks of the 70s wore leather because it was cheap and easy to find in thrift stores then. Its still common to see alt people of all groups add leather to their look
Battle jackets/vests - a unique, personalized, diy look! Many punk jackets have music and political patches, while metalhead jackets tend to stick to just music
Docs or converse - two of the most common shoe types to see portrayed on punks in media, but really any combat boot or sneaker will work. Most modern punks will have a relatively cheap pair of work shoes (think like black non slip ones). If you want to add to it, you can even ladder lace the boots (I have a guide in my masterlist with more detail there)
Safety pins - again a diy staple, they keep clothes together and also have a deeper symbolism associated with them (another masterlist guide)
Old or thrifted clothes - clothes that have been repaired to last longer, or that are starting to fall apart are relatively common
Studs and spikes - must I say more?
Lots of patches and pins - must I say more here too?
Look into other alt groups - its not uncommon to see overlap between punks, metalheads, grunge, goths, emo, and scene fashion. Take some inspiration and throw together a personalized style from it all
I hope thats all understandable? As always, others are welcome to add their own thoughts. Also shoutout to @prideful-things-shop for the vaporeon pin on my beanie <3
#this is the second time I wrote this#mail tag#also side note I have 3 cowboy hats#and also an unspecified number of flannels lmao#had a really nice pair of boots but I killed em#need to get a new pair

Wuh oh!! I've been based and trollpilled
I was one of the people who scoffed at trolls and thought it was dumb. I take the L. I admit I was wrong... at least about the other movies lol, I still think the first movie was kinda weak but damn did they go from kinda weak to kinda peak. They're nothing groundbreaking but they are fun and a lot less annoying than I anticipated them being.
SO bc I love redesigning things I redesigned some characters and will be redesigning more. Below the cut is my thoughts on the designs~
So for the pop trolls as a whole I think their aesthetic is cute, but kinda conflicts with the worldbuilding in the later movies because all the troll tribes EXCEPT for pop have a very cohesive aesthetic related to their music. I like the smurf-y, crafted aesthetic but it doesn't really scream "pop" yknow? But pop is a kinda unique genre in that it can literally be anything as long as it's very popular and mainstream and any genre can become pop so I decided to theme the pop trolls around different kinds of pop.
Also!! Literally so many people give the trolls tails. And I AGREE. Honestly, I'll take as many degrees of seperation from the good luck trolls as possible bc they're scary as hell. No amount of nostalgia is going to change the fact that good luck trolls unsettled me as a kid and unsettle me now. I'm all for embracing more critter-type looks to them since trolls are in a way like fae so let's get quirky w it!!
For Poppy I wanted to commit and go full ham, bubblegum jojo siwa girlypop girly. It fits her existing aesthetic but also generally when we think pop music that kinda upbeat, colorful "girly" music tends to come to mind. She's got full-time legwarmers because YES I agree with her wearing those in the third movie she should wear them literally always. I initially wanted to give her plaid stuff, that sort of 2000s black and pink plaid that was huge but decided against it because black doesn't really fit her vibe. Rock zombie Poppy however...
She's also got a sparkly vest and SO. MANY. BOWS. Her bowtie is actually more of a smaller choker than a tie but I realize I didn't convey that lol. Her crown is also a pearly kind of clear plastic, like the old Disney princess shoes, remember those?
(I love how the third movie really leaned into the toy inspiration aspect of it so fuck yeah I'll lean even harder!!)
And this time she's the one with frosted tips because as Branch said, IT WAS AN ERA!! And I really wanted to stick to the vaguely Y2K theme with her.
For Branch, he doesn't have as much of a committed aesthetic reflecting his complicated relationship with music, but I pushed him into a soft pop-punk aesthetic with what he does have, and maybe a tiny sprinkling, just a hint of grunge... which he kind of did on his own in the og design. And again, I'm all for leaping into as far of a departure from good luck trolls as possible so I ditched his troll hair and gave him long, droopy, probably greasy emo boy hair. Has the added benefit of any time he uses his hair as a tool or weapon it becomes the sickest headbang hair flip. I buy into the theory that due to his trauma and probably depression, Branch only shows his "true colors" when excessively happy and his normal state is kind of permanently muted, but I gave him a streak of the blue as well. Whether it's dyed or not is up to yall lol.
I originally was going to change his clothes, but because the third movie establishes his vest was a gift from Floyd I decided against it. He does wear suspenders under it though, but they can't be seen. Probably has a chain wallet too, the hot topic goblin he is... I did change the color of his pants to black though, and to show how much of a bedraggled recluse he is, I made sure the patches matched colors with his vest to show he's been slowly taking the least visible parts of the vest apart to patch his pants. Poppy, get your man some skinny jeans.
Let me know what yall think!! This is such an EMBARRASSING interest to have lol I'm really putting myself out here with this one... not as bad as my danganronpa days though

Back to projecting more on the characters based on my own likes/dislikes. So last time, I said Monty was the emo/pop punk fan because l don't really get the appeal of either so I associate them in my head. With that logic here are other things (not just music) that Monty likes/loves:
Astrology (canonical!); TSwift; Myers-Briggs personality types; Timotheeeeeeee Shallot (can't be bothered to look up how you spell his last name, but he weirds me out); Discworld (sorry Pratchett fans); William Darcy (P&P fans get no apologies, I said what I said); It's a Wonderful Life; Love Actually; Hannibal (I'm down with canibalism, but can't handle how how it depicts psychiatry; I refuse to elaborate at this time. If Hannibal was a chef or some shit I'd be into it); Twilight and generally the "centuries old vampire falls in love with teenager" trope (give me centuries old vamps falling in love with people middle aged or older PLEASE; shout out to IWTV and the WWDitS movie); mayonnaise.
Monty fans: how did I do? Have I just proved that Monty and I are taste opposites or am I full of shit? (Or maybe both?)
Also, would love to hear what a similar exercise might turn up for other people's least interesting characters.
(Also: to be clear, I don't dislike/hate Monty, he's just kind of there for me. Love that other people connect with him! But I don't. Hence why I'm giving him other things I don't connect with.)

some headcanons about sebastian solace from the hit game pressure roblox
to start - this may seem unimportant to you guys but its important to me: that ring on his finger is about as serious as the squirrel stapler room (that is, to say, the whole thing is a bit that the devs have included in their silly project and i will be treating it as such) (for selfish reasons, of course, but idc!! i'm having fun with this stupid game that i love and thats all that matters) (update on this: as i'm typing, i'm finding out that zerum is serious about her and sebastian being married which is honestly kinda...) (like sure fine that's cool and all if he were JUST your OC but sebastian has reached a point of publicity where he is more than that. obviously, i think it's rude and terrible and disrespectful to disregard a creators wishes as to how their character is used in fan-made content (this especially goes for NSFW art cause i think its fucked up if people make that sort of content of a character and POST IT after the creator explicitly said not to). at the same time, there are many people on the internet who do not care and will do what they want regardless. i think it'd be fair for her to ask not to have any of it sent to her specifically or posted in the Pressure server that she co-runs where she will obviously see it but she's saying she doesn't want anyone to make that sort of stuff period which is unreasonable and will only serve to hurt her in the long run. i don't know how old zerum is but this is reminiscent of my own (early) internet phases where i would become EXTREMELY attached to a character and refuse to acknowledge that that character existed differently (or at all) to someone else (i don't want to admit it was a sans AU but i really don't think i have a choice). i really hope she gets past this in a healthy way and comes to understand that a character who's been made public the way sebastian has been made public has a very different dynamic than an OC that you're sharing with your friends)
☆ pretty basic and angsty interpretation and im positive most people in the fandom agree with me on this - he doesn't like getting hit with the bright light not only because of the angler fish DNA making his eyes sensitive but also because it reminds him of surgical lights (which is why he has a Take No Shit policy (since the update) for expendables flashing him) (yeah, he has a pretty short fuse already, but he wouldn't deck an expendable for leaving and coming back in once nor would he shoot them for using the keycard on his wares) (so even though its because of the DNA mixing, i like headcanoning theres more to it for funsies)
☆ can and will let the expendables die in his shop because then he doesn't have to leave to collect all the shit they drop (on that note, wags his tail and chuckles when you buy stuff cause he knows it'll ultimately be useless and he'll just get it back)
☆ collects data so he has records of urbanshades bullshittery (so he can prosecute their asses the second he escapes) AND so he can re-discover his own identity (this plays into my headcanon that he's slowly forgetting what he used to look like as well as what his life used to be outside of urbanshades teensy weensy ginormous fuck up facility)
☆ i know this is (basically) canon but i'm solidifying it for myself by calling it here: he's chilean american (and speaks chilean spanish) and i know like i KNOW if his radio was working he'd be blasting Bio Bio or Futuro or Pudahuel 24/7
☆☆ bonus!! he 100% listens to mid 90s - early 2000s emo music now (have you even seen him) (that mf painted his nails pitch black in middle school) (walked out the door listening to Green Day and One Last Wish on his walkman while his mom kissed him goodbye telling him to have a good day at school TRUST) and his favorite chilean genres are nueva trova chilena, folklore, cueca, and punk melodico! (im not entirely familiar with chilean culture and music so if anyone here is chilean and likes Pressure PLEASE chime in i'd love to hear your thoughts)
☆ on the topic of family, he would help his mom cook and clean sometimes when his older sister was out (his dad helps too!!)
☆ twirls/plays with his hair (mostly because he doesn't have anything else to fidget with) (projecting he's self conscious about it cause thats why i play with my hair whoops)
☆ soft spot for teen/young adult expendables that he doesn't have for the older ones (every time he sees an expendable younger than 30, his disgust and rage towards urbanshade grows)
these are all for fun and just my personal opinions/headcanons!! i'll update these eventually (maybe) and i wanna hear what you guys have to say too :D

I thought it would be fun to try and capture what I think the ninjas’ music tastes would be in playlists. So, here are 5 playlists of 20 songs each for Lloyd, Kai, Zane, Jay, and Cole. My goal was to make these painfully realistic, so be prepared for a little nonsense!
LLOYD // KAI // ZANE // JAY // COLE
(Warning for explicit lyrics in Lloyd, Kai, and Cole’s playlists. See notes under the cut.)
These playlists are generally meant to be enjoyed in order, but I forgive you if you can’t do that. It's only that I jumped between a lot of different genres for these guys in order to give the impression that they’re well-rounded, so I tried to make the transition smooth. I don’t want you to get jump-scared if you have it on shuffle.
I didn't repeat any artists except for Daft Punk (because I had to for Zane, like, legally), and I tried to stick to each artist's most popular music. I want the average listener to recognize a lot of these! I think that makes it more fun to listen to.
The covers are inspired by those iPod commercials with the silhouettes from the mid 2000s. :)
LLOYD: This playlist is inspired by my experience being a tween/teen in the early-to-mid 2010s. Thank you to all my classmates for your unintentional contributions. And you may be wondering, friend, why did you put so much moody rap music on Lloyd’s playlist? Well, in response I raise my own question: have you ever met a real 16-year old-boy?
KAI: I tried to make the playlist flow with his arc. It starts out with edgy rock music, moves into emo, then J-rock (yes, there’s a Naruto opening in there, it’s Kai, why wouldn’t there be), then scene, then horny dance-pop—just like Kai starting out super angsty, but eventually chilling out to the idiotic flirty mess we know today.
ZANE: I mostly just wanted to capture that he’s really weird. He gives me an oldies vibe. It’s also fun to imagine him trying to figure out wacky song lyrics—I think they would mystify him. I wanted to put “My Kind of Woman” by Mac Demarco on there, but it was the only song from this century on the whole playlist, and it stuck out like a sore thumb. :(
JAY: Thank you to everyone who helped me with the video game OST choices! RIP Jay Walker, you would have loved the Portal games. Other than that, I just went for a mix of Tumblr-y lovey-dovey pop rock and glam 80s pop type junk.
COLE: I think Cole is probably the only one who has a good sense of music. He gives me a music bro vibe. I tried to give him some variety to reflect that, but with a focus on grunge and older metal.
Anyway, enjoy!

I simple MUST know what your specific funeral instructions are
ok, ok, ok. The short version which I quote is the one I’ll use, because I go into immense detail last that sometimes and it takes a solid ten minutes to get through and I’m not typing that out.
When I die, I want my right hand cut off and cremated, and I want them to take out my brain like they did for the mummies.
alright, starting off, I wanna be in the most steampunk fit they can find. AND NO DRESSES!!! I have put it upon my brother to ensure this doesn’t happen. Dresses are what I hate most. I want everyone else to come in goth/emo/punk/steampunk/etc. like, sure you should wear the dark colors, but be cool about it, we don’t need to look like we’re going to a funeral.
I want by body to then be hung from the ceiling fan and swung around while thanks for the memories by fallout boy and I’ll sleep when I’m dead by set it off blare at top volume. I want my cremated hand to be tossed into the crowd like confetti at the exact moment my doppelgänger (my sister’s job to find) runs in with a very confused look and plays a pre recorded sound of me asking what’s going on, but all in old English and Spanglish. Then, I want them to stack up playbills from my favorite musicals and burn them, and dump them into the ground before my casket, to lay the ground for good. Then they’ll lower in the casket and everything, but I’ll have a mourner that wails at the top of their lungs and jumps into the ground with me. They’ll have to forcefully remove him. It’s my brother’s job to find this one.
After all that commotion, I want everyone to start to leave, but then, there will be fireworks that go off in the night sky, and they’ll all stop to look at that, and then my mom will pass around her famous queso and salsa, and they can dump some into my grave before they cover it, just so I can get one last taste of goodness. And they can look up to the stars and realize, despite all the commotion I caused, just like this, whether or not they cared about me. And the ones that decide they cared absolutely have to take care of my plants because I cannot let those die without me, I have out in too much work.
Also, I require there to be at least one episode of tangled the series going. Or vampire diaries. Not because I watch the show really, but because Damon is hit af.
oh, and I’ve left it to multiple people to make sure my fanfics all get completed after I’m gone. Can’t leave my readers on a cliffhanger lol.

what happened to high school?
When I was young, I thought high school students were so cool and grown up. I watched as they started driving, dating, having sex, and going to parties and I couldn't wait to be that fun age. Now that I am in high school, where has the fun gone?
As people have realized, generations are starting to look younger and younger. When you imagine a senior in high school, you often don't imagine the people that I go to school with. Their baby faces haven't gone away and the growth spurts have not hit yet. Part of the appeal of high school is the feeling of adulthood and maturity, not only in the classes you take or your social endeavors, but in the way you look. I don't know if it's because there isn't as much of an age gap between myself and a senior in high school now, but when I was little, they just looked so old. I don't see that anymore.
Also, technology is nowhere near new and exciting. It's a part of our everyday lives and I will resent that for the rest of my life. While it comes in handy for teaching and grading, and Google is a major plus, it shouldn't be our only source of school these days. I rarely get assignments on paper and honestly, I wish they were. I want physical copies and mementos from my high school days. Not to mention, I don't even have a real school identification card. It's in an app.
When social media and technology was new and exciting, it acted as a third space for teenagers. Like malls and roller rinks in the eighties and nineties, Tik Tok, Instagram and Tumblr are the "hang-out spots" for teenagers in the late 2010s and 2020s. In the early to mid-2010s, teenagers still went to malls and roller rinks to hang with friends while also adjusting to the new online world. It was a place for teenagers to communicate their ideas and express themselves. Now it has become a part of everything. I almost never have conversations where someone doesn't whip out their phone mid sentence
Also, we have no defining trends for our generation. Social media has brought forth something called the microtrend. A song, make-up look or body type will be a trend for two weeks before out short-attention spanned peers decide it's not interesting or cool anymore and move on to something else. While the nineties had grunge and glamor and the eighties had acid wash denim and big hair, the 20s has....leggings? And Utah curls? What I mean is, when you think of the 1990s, a specific image comes to mind. Grunge music and dark eye make-up. When you think of the eighties you picture big curly hair and neon spandex. When you think of the 2020s, nothing in specific comes to mind because we can't decide on one thing. Nothing is interesting or cool enough anymore. We live in such a capitalist, consumerist society that once we engage in something too much, it becomes boring and we have to find something else. Social media and influencers only amplify that. I don't know if it's Gen-Z's push-back on being categorized or defined by anything, or if nothing is good enough anymore.
And don't even get me started on the music. In the 20th-century, different music trends came and went. In the 70s hair metal and power ballads became huge. In the 80s glam metal, synth, and pop started to materialize and in the 90s alternative rock, grunge, nu metal, and boy-bands made their breakthrough. This overbearing control of the music industry made music a novelty and allowed teenagers to be a part of a subculture. When punk came about in the 70s and goth in the 70s and 80s, it allowed teenagers to interact with another and create relationships because of the subculture they identified with. This made high school the stereotypical version we see in 90s and early-2000s movies. The goths sit over here and the popular kids sit over there. Even in the 90s with grunge and the 2000s with emo. Though to come it seemed “clique-y”, it made making friends and self-expression more cohesive and less stand-out. Even into the early 2010s, those who liked pop punk, didn’t hangout with the kids who like mainstream pop or trap beats.
With the rise of the influencer and easy access to higher paying or earning jobs, anybody can make music, even if they’re horrible at it. Content creators online put out singles or albums that sample the same beats as everybody else and have the same dense and shallow lyrics, where it is obvious they’re trying to sound deep and meaningful but they’re fully missing the mark. It’s hard to want to claim a genre or use a specific sound or style of music to identify your generation or simply the people you hangout with. New music doesn’t have that power anymore. New major music genres have not been pioneered since the 90s with grunge and nu metal. People that are making music aren’t creative and the creatives aren’t making music.
The things people listen to and the way that they dress says a lot about them. For teenagers, it has said everything about them. However in the last ten years, social media and technology has ripped those ideals away from us. Nobody wants to be perceived as one thing. They want to be everything and nothing is good enough to define anybody anymore. Tik Tok has ruined the essence and the glowing aura that once was the teenager.

An Exploitation of Nostalgia: The Return of Warped Tour
When it was first rumored a few weeks ago that we might get Warped Tour back, I decided not to rush to the blog, mainly because I didn't feel I had any new opinions, outside of the bad that would come along with it's return, but with this new development I figured a tiny opinion piece could be put out into the world.
The exploitation of nostalgia is something that I've wanted to talk about for a while now, so I kind of apologize preemptively for all the "associated" parties that will catch strays. Essentially they're looking at us "Elder Emos" and assuming we have adult money that we can just throw at them for crumbs of the music we raised ourselves on, without needing any of it to actually be authentic. I use Emo Nite as the OG and most real world example of this.
I started going to Emo Nite's in 2017 right after they switched their name from Taking Back Tuesday. (I might of went under that banner, but I don't think so.) They started at one of the smaller but still popular venues in the "scene" here, but after a couple years leveled up a venue size. I went few more times as it got bigger, but eventually it didn't feel like a bunch of "adult kids" eating up their youth, in a room anymore. It turned into a top 40 "Pop-Punk" playlist where deviation was frowned upon and Master of Ticket got their cut.
Now don't get me wrong, I get it and too do not wish to hear every deep cut that only 15 people in the crowd know by heart, but they could throw on a Cut Up Angels or Family Tradition every once in a while, just sayin.
They were now playing bigger Nites, got more expensive and sat with the likes Coachella and overall got too big to feel authentic to me anymore. Not saying I wouldn't go again, just that my desire for their specific curation of this type of event has dropped pretty low. To be clear though, I will never be too old to sing That's What You Get or Mr. Brightside in a room full of my peers, I even want to have an "emo night" at my own wedding one day. There are many Emo DJ club sets that exist nowadays, so they're also not the only team in the game anymore.
Branching beyond clubs is where we get into festival territory and essentially the state of the scene and "Emo Nostalgia" in a post Warped Tour world. Sad Summer Fest was the first one to really put themselves as a rising from the ashes tour and I think they did pretty decent that first year or so. As they've grown however sometimes it feels like the same few headliners every year and that has become more of a neutral drop in the bucket for them. Most of my complaints with them are based on when they did finally came back to me, cause they took a few years off, it was at an indoor venue and that is big NOPE for me when it comes to festivals.
Ohio is for Lovers is an Emo festival that's put itself out there as another drink in the cooler as well. They're a mid-rage tour, not hitting everywhere but they're also not a one weekend all summer event either. Other even smaller tours exist too, but to compete with the Coachella crowd, we got to talk shows like Riot Fest and especially the When We Were Young Festival, as that is the most egregious one, although it doesn't play like Warped Tour did.
When When We Young flashes lights like the Vegas Strip to entice everyone into thinking this is what we need in the world. It's a bright, shinny, chaotic, hot expensive mess and you cannot convince me otherwise. Not saying it's all bad, but it's not wildly accessible, barely reaches the actual Elder Emos and overly concentrates everything we love into one weekend where you have to pick and choose between the band that just got back together and the band that is the reason you behave the way you do today, not cool. In 2024 they're getting the greats to play your favorite albums front to back and many people won't get that experience. I'm not knocking the bands for participating cause someone gets to have that, but it won't be the same as if they went and just did a full anniversary tour, which I will never turn down. Plus the market for crammed alternative music fests in Vegas is getting a little saturated, even though funny enough I can only name 2 right now.
I am one of those unfortunate people, but honestly I didn't even try this year, for all the reasons I've already mentioned as well as it logistically being something I wouldn't have been able to to manage myself in the event I didn't have friends, which I don't.
All of that leads us to today where the blueprint has decided to make a comeback and in my personal opinion crap on all of our dreams and get a little brown stain on it's legacy. Warped Tour will come back in 2025 for it's 30th Anniversary. They'll make 3 different stops in Washington D.C, Long Beach CA and Orlando FL, spending 2 days at each post.
I didn't want them to come back because I knew it wasn't going to be the same. I know thing have to change, but I also feel like they weren't going to try with what they could, to begin with. I know things like prices would go up and a full cross county situation probably wouldn't be feasible, but my hope (fake hope at that) was that they'd at least try to give us something more accessible and tangible then some of the larger festivals that have followed.
Part of me wishes they would let it rest as the one that "got it right," for the most part. That being said it doesn't look like they're going through Ticketmaster and the prices aren't wildly unreasonable, so I'll give them those wins.
Realistically I just don't don't think this will give me much and although not perfect, there are a few other festivals and actual tours that are doing okay in it's place right now. Obviously it will take years for them to build legacies, but hopefully we give them the chance. Everyone is just selling us our youth to us right now and trying to convince the crowd that it's worth it, but I'm not sure it is. (Maybe if I had a ton of money and less anxiety I'd feel different.)
We'll see what comes out in the next year and hopefully my feelings will be more positive by then. And to the folks that get to go, I wish nothing but magic for you.
.
.
Pre-sale link to those who want to try on the 24th. Note: The lineup has not been announced, so it you do buy tickets you'd do so without knowing any of the bands.

🎻🎶🐷🍝 for Mary and Ale and priest!Lev and Astor also how's the beach
Hiii I know that in theory I was gonna answer this sooner, but it didn’t go like that. So, sorry that I’m late!!!
Anyways here is the ask game.
🎻- does your oc play any instruments? what is their skill level (beginner/intermediate/advanced/virtuoso/etc)?
Mary- it was an old ideea, but she plays electric guitar. Back in the og days, when I first made her and her roomates/besties, I made it so all of them have a band togheter. I kept that lore, tho I haven’t made much with it these days. It’s just trivia yk. I guess they’re all intermediate? Just friends having fun.
The others do not play anything.
Tho priest!Lev playing the organ is an ideea I wanna discuss and maybe add.
🎶 - what type of music does your oc like? do they listen to music very often?
Mary- is like the type of person who listens to anything, or at least says it does. Tho she really likes punk and pop-punk and sometimes scene and hyperpop.
Ale- is the type of motherfucker who says he likes classical music. And while he does, he actually secretly really loves 2010s pop music.
Priest! Lev- well he exists in a medieval univers tho it has meme elements so like. fucking bardcore???
AU Astor- I’d say emo and gothic music for the joke like everyone else. But again, I don’t know much about medieval music. Whatever is that time’s period version of gothic music I guess.
🐷 - what is your oc's favorite animal?
Mary- It’s either possums or ravens. She has a possum actually.
Ale- pigeons.
Priest! Lev- either himself or cats. He has like two of them.
AU Astor- horses and spiders or possums. He does have a horse if anyone remembers. But originally I was just gonna make him a guy whos really into spiders. But hes the possum man so yeah.
🍝 - what is/are your oc's favorite food(s)?
Mary - raw meat, specifically the human or demon kind.
Ale- He dosen’t give a shit. Angels don’t really eat that often, some not at all depending on species and rank. Now in hell, he’s still not used to the fact that demons like humans eat simply because. So he dosen’t really care. Give him something, he’ll eat it. (Unless it’s Mary’s special meat pie.)
Priest! Lev - Another dude who dosen’t care. But thats becasue he has too many worries to think about this. He eats to continue living and he lives to hopefully see his boyfriend come out the hospital alive and well. Whatever keeps him going, you know?
Au Astor- Fave food? Hah! Thats a waste of time to him. He only eats a slice of bread and cheese or ham every few days to stay alive, because apparently living off tea and coffee isn’t enough. Please feed him.
Anyways, the beach is nice. We didn’t stay much cuz my group and I were tired and I was still sick from being in that heated car. I’ll give everyone funny Astor pictures but only after I leave, for good measure.

hiiiiii lovely!! hope you’re doing so very well <3 just wanted to say that i always love your iconic music taste, it’s truly incredible!!! very curious, what’re the vibes lately doll! please enlighten the masses that are so very curious (i am one of them!!!)
love you ❤️❤️❤️
Well, music wise I have been into Green Day massively lately. I’ve always been a fan, but recently I have developed a major thing for Billie Joe Armstrong and it has totally reawakened my love for this band. I love them so much. 😫😭
Also, I’ve gotten into these emo/punk YouTuber dudes Johnnie Guilbert and Jake Webber, who also have also put out some pretty decent music. They do vids on YouTube together (and separately) and have amassed a huge following. They are both so beautiful too, omg. Especially Johnnie. I guess pretty dudes with long choppy black hair, facial piercings, tattoos, and guitars are my official TYPE lol.
Anyway, tons of obsessive fangirling over Billie Joe Armstrong, Johnnie Guilbert, and Izzy. 🥵😮💨 I’ve been watching lots of Green Day live shit on YouTube as well as Jake/Johnnie vids these days AND I’ve been into watching documentaries lately too, especially true crime docs. Whatever I can find, I’m like a little sponge, soaking it all up. Lots of good stuff on Netflix and Hulu and Paramount. I love old reruns of 20/20 and 48 Hours. Good true crime shit on both of those shows. 😌
That’s about it. Music, fangirling, and true crime lol. I’m pretty boring actually. 😂
Love youuuu, Syd. 🖤🖤
