Sometimes I see posts about how "I, Strahd" Tatyana has the personality of a cardboard but I don't think I agree honestly.

We only see her in very few scenes (all from Strahd's POV) and she's always very gentle and soft spoken.

Which makes completely sense since she was a lowborn orphan trying to make a good impression on her future brother in law, who is not only the ruler of the valley but also a feared war criminal. Of course she would try to be as nice as possible in front of him.

I also think that Strahd was extremely genuine in thinking he was in love with Tatyana, it's just that he never really knew her the way Sergei did. He only knew a facet.

god. sometimes i really hate those "10 jobs that you can do WITHOUT a qualification that pay over 100k" and they list something like "human resource management" 130k a year!!! when like. EVERY fucking HR job (and other jobs like this, say like librarian- something that i PAID 17k for and burnt out for in postgrad lmao) strictly DEMAND that candidates must have 1-2 years experience AND an HR DEGREE.

very, very, very, very rarely i see something in HR requiring a TAFE (aussie technical college) certificate (ie MUCH cheaper- 7k) or a diploma in HR. it's almost always a degree, barely EVER "no quals or equivalent experience or similar quals"... even for entry level jobs in hr or most defs management positions.

i make no promises about rugby au coming into full existence but it Is haunting me. i am a stupid american who got into rugby a year ago when i was living in ireland so i def don't have a complex deep understanding of it or anything BUT that video of ilona maher's try from a few weeks ago where she just runs over a tackler on the way to the line gave me massive yang xiao long energy. yang with ilona maher's build/body type. you guys already know this is correct. i Have in fact started a list of who would play what position. currently i'm imagining rugby au as an olympics-esque au, set in my usual amalgam remnant/modern earth setting, where 15s is an "olympic" sport instead of 7s and blake is a gymnast, not a rugby player. i have a lot of thoughts about this but like 20% of the fic would have anything to do with rugby properly. it would mostly be horndog down bad blake to be honest.

regarding the poll i make even fewer promises. rugby au would be like. a one or two shot. the poll would be a sprawling hundred thousand word epic and this time it would have plot it wouldnt' even just be 100k gay transgender sex soap opera like milf blake au. that probably wouldn't happen until after i graduate just because i don't have time.
