Currently thinking about how much Ford tries to hide his hands a lot when he can…behind his back with this stance. Due to how often he’s been bullied for it.

And also, how Mabel is one of the ones who Ford feels happy about showing his hands to because she thought they were cool looking upon first shaking his hand, instead of him being judged for his six fingers.

Kaede's parents were going to be out for the night, so she was going to have the house to herself. But she didn't want to be alone... so she called Ayumi and asked her if she wanted to come over for a sleepover; and to her delight, she did! She was so happy... Together, they had a mini yakinuki feast in her room while watching TV, reading manga together while happily chatting away about whatever... (And Daifuku joining them at times, too! He loves it when Ayumi can come over if she has, before..)

With how much fun they were having, it looked as if they weren't going to sleep anytime soon. And so... Kaede thought it would be cute if they did something like... slow dancing in the kitchen, in their pajamas. She remembers her mom telling her one time, that dancing together in the kitchen with her dad, late at night: was one of her favorite memories of them when they were still newly married, before Kaede was even born. And Kaede, being the hopeless romantic she is: has always wanted to try doing that with the person she loves.

And she of course, loves her cute and precious kouhai.. Once they were in the kitchen, Kaede began one of the playlists on her phone's music app. Mostly 'old school's future funk versions of romantic shoujo anime songs... As she hugs Ayumi close against her, doing their slow dance ... She's smiling and laughing together with her, really feeling like a married couple. She loves it... The fun they're having, and to be able to hold Ayumi close like this...

"Ayumi-chan..." As she hugs her even closer, one of her hands go to cup her cheeks. Giving it slow strokes with her thumb while one of her fingers idly twirl a lock of her hair around it... Giving her a smile filled with warmth and love... "I'm having so much fun... I'm happy you didn't mind indulging me like this. Hehe..... I just...wanted to dance with the cutest girl ever! And the one I love... so I really am happy right now~"

And with a giggle, she plants soft kisses to her cheeks and nose, her own face growing a soft pink. "Ayumi-chaaan, you'd better stop me... or I might "accidentally" end up kissing you all over your face, again~!" She giggles, and brings that same hand that was stroking her cheek, to lightly brush over her lips.

It's so wild when you think about how much of a shift the batkids had after they were adopted by Bruce, because NONE had a sibling and were like-
