Day 5: Happy 5 Year Anniversary!

Wow. 5 years. I honestly can't believe that. Oh my GOSH that's long o.o. I went :O when I saw that when seeing advertising for the week.

I love this show so much (ignore me posting and editing to get it here before midnight for me lol). It's absolutely insane how long it's been. I started watching late in November, I believe, maaaaybe early December. We'd talked about getting Disney+, and I knew my family would find it silly but I was intrigued by a show called High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. A crazy title and a weird premise. I said I was just curious, fascinated by it, wondering what it would be like. So, one evening, my sister and I watched it.

We watched the first four episodes and laughed and made fun of it the whole time. But, miraculously, I found myself invested.

And the next episode.

In Season 1 Episode 5, they brought Seb and Carlos to us as a couple. I was shocked and happy, and honestly a little confused. I didn't know I was queer yet. I knew what queer was, had found out from my sibling surrounding some family stuff, but I'd never seen canon queer characters before. I guess I knew I was an ally, even if I didn't totally get why, but it was just so cool to see them. I honestly felt kind of weird because what did two gay high school boys mean to me, I was a straight girl!

Ha.

It wouldn't be for a couple more years that I would realize I was queer. I too fell victim to the "yeah, but I'm just an ally" trap lol. But I seriously fell in love with them. I remember my sibling and I loving how cute Carlos's little dance was, how excited he was. How devastated and in denial we were when Seb didn't show up. And how much we loved it when Carlos danced, and when Seb did show up :').

That solidified the show for me. That made me stay. They made me stay. They've meant the world to me ever since.

And since then, I have seen 33 amazing, wonderful episodes (just like the 5 before them lol). I've been angry, I've been sad, I've been in awe, I've been happy. I've seen myself represented not just in queer characters, but in theatre kids. In kids who are lonely and find family there. In kids who lived in a shadow, who were shy, who were thrust in and trusted by their teacher and director.

This show is silly. It does silly things, it has silly performances, it has silly jokes, silly unlikely things happen, and it's a silly premise. But I absolutely love it. I realized one day, after having seen someone mention "the One show that changed them forever", that mine was High School Musical The Musical The Series. Sounds silly, and I had to think about some of my more recent shows to figure it out. But it is. I remember scrolling through the tag, searching Seblos, before I even made a Tumblr account. Seeing things first after the finale of Season 1, deleted scenes pictures of Carlos giving Seb flowers. So many important moments for me were taken alongside step with HSMTMTS. Even though I barely post about it anymore (because so many interests catch my attention and I don't usually have much to say about it off the top of my head), it's still the 4th top "Posts a lot about" when you go to search on my blog. I think that says something. And I'm proud of it.

I haven't had a lot of interaction with the fandom during my time here, especially while the show was still running (and because I mainly stay in the Seblos tag, especially with remembering scrolling through all the Driver's License stuff before and when it first came out lol), but everyone means so much to me. Especially everyone still posting, still creating now. The fanfics, the art, the edits, and gifsets, everything is so important to me, and everything else. Thank you all <3. And thank you, when I did come, for being such an accepting place (at least the places I went to). Thank you guys for sticking around through this show, and even for just being here for a little while. Thanks for sticking with me, those that have :). And the friends I've made from this fandom and this show - you mean the world to me <3. Thank you all so much for everything you've done, everything that's made this show even more enjoyable :'). I love you all so much ❤️.

Sakura doesn’t hold your hand for any particular reason, he just likes to be connected to you in some way, even when you’re just walking in town.

He gets super flustered every time too, but it’s not even you initiating the contact, it’s him. His face gets red but he makes no effort to pull away. Tease him though, and maybe he will. ( don't tease him he doesn't deserve it :( )

He might also occasionally make comments about how soft or warm your hand is.

Suo gives you as much advice as he can, depending on the situation. He definitely doesn’t want to see you upset.

He can also tell when you’re getting burnt out, and is quick to advise you to take a break.

If you end up getting upset, he knows what to do to comfort you, and he does whatever you want until you feel better.

While I already know he would know what to say to comfort you if and when you’re upset, I also am quite sure he’d know what to say in lighter situations, too.

For instance; you’re watching a movie, and something happens. (WOW!!!! peak content) He thinks of something especially silly and tuned to the situation, and it doesn’t fail to crack a joke out of you.

If you’re ever feeling unsure or down, he says the right thing to coax you out of that feeling and help you feel sure again.

The only other specific instance I can think of is if he meets your parents, he can immediately convince them to like him. 😢

◊ He and I were assigned to our squadron together, before we were blooded as mercenaries. The rest of what would eventually become Misericorde found us... offputting. They flaked away slowly but surely, driven away by either one of us with time. However, we two alone found each other acceptable company. We understood one another, in ways we were not accustomed to being understood. It formed a foundation sturdy and lasting, as I would hope is evident from our lasting partnership-

◊ ah, I do feel I should clarify lest you get the wrong impression of my dear Zero. While we are life partners of a sort, we are not romantically entangled. Sweet Motivation

Diavolo x reader, Barbatos x reader

~ After being confined to his studies to work through his mountain of paperwork, Diavolo is in dire need of a distraction that only you can provide.

'Even a prince must reap what he sows.'

This lesson was one of the first Diavolo learned from his father when he began the lessons that would prepare him to one day rule the Devildom, and he has really taken it to heart. He understands that in order for him to be the kind of ruler he wants to be, he must go the extra mile and hold himself accountable in all he does.

But now, that lesson is sounding more and more like torture as the usually smiling demon is cooped up in his stifling study, hunched over a speech he will be giving to honor the 1,000th anniversary of the Devildom artwork orchestra. 

A speech he should've written ages ago but forgot about... 

Barbatos, sensing the urgency of the situation, had kindly taken it upon himself to ensure his master was able to work in a distraction-free environment. He excused the Little D's from their duties for today and has even placed an enchantment on the door so that only he and Lucifer may enter in order to prevent the Prince from getting off track.

Now half-finished and thoroughly bored with his speech, Diavolo places his hand on his chin and lets out a prolonged, very dramatic sigh. With his DDD confiscated and his office door enchanted, he has no way of messaging you, even though he had promised his trusty Butler that simply getting to message you would be wonderful motivation. 

Apparently, he is no longer the cute little demon prince he once was because his big eyes and soft pout had no sway on Barbatos whatsoever. 

Reluctantly, he flicks his golden eyes back to the parchment in front of him, noting the slight change in color the ink has in its varying states of dryness. 

Is watching ink dry truly the only source of entertainment he has.

He fiddles with the quill in his hand when his sharp hearing detects a soft rapping sound coming from his glass balcony doors. Thinking it may be a confused bird trying to peck through the glass, he turns his head and nearly has a heart attack when he sees you standing on his eighth-story balcony with a big grin and a basket.

Maybe breaking into the Demon King's castle by way of rose trellis wasn't the smartest idea you have had since coming to the devildom, but the look of bewilderment on Diavolo's face made the life-threatening climb worth it. 

Not to mention, you have found and exploited a very real security risk for the Palace. If a human such as yourself was able to infiltrate its walls without magic, Diavolo may want to do something about it.

The Prince springs from his seat and strides across the room as he gets closer, your tired breath fogging the glass window before he flings open the French doors.

"MC? What? How did you get up here?" he asks, golden eyes scanning your form, widening when they find a scrape on your leg you got during your infiltration. 

"I uhh…climbed. Up the rose trellis." you gesture back to the plants behind you, giving him the sweetest smile you can. "I heard from Lucifer that Barbatos had put you on house arrest, and I wanted to see you and bring you a pick me up. Are you upset with me?"

Any lecture you were about to get gets lost on his tongue when he looks at your hopeful expression. He laughs and pulls you into his strong embrace. "I could never be upset with you, my Love, even if you do have a tendency to put others before your well-being. Did you know that I was missing you?"

"I was hopeful," you smile, holding out the basket for him to take. The Prince inhales deeply, smiling as he opens the basket, revealing the freshly baked rolled mushroom cigar cookies you have brought him. 

"You made these for me?" he asks; you nod up at him. His eyes shine with affection as he places the basket on his desk to give you his full attention. "Thank you so much for such a thoughtful gesture. I promise you these cookies will not go uneaten."

"Good, you have been working so hard you deserve a treat or two." you smile, his strong arms wrapping around your waist as he looks down at you hungrily. 

"Then will you be my first?" he asks, your eyes falling from his entrancing eyes to his lips. You nod as he leans down, closing the space between you two, and you shout your eyes, ready to get lost in the wonder that is Diavolo. 

Your bodies are only a credit cards width away when the doors to the office burst open, sending a startled chill down your spine. 

Barbatos stands in the doorway, his smile too large as he stares you down. "Well now, Young Master, it looks like we have a guest," the Butler says, "MC, what a surprise. I didn't realize that you were coming over. Next time, please consider using the front door."

A nervous heat comes to your cheeks, and you nervously look between the Prince and the Butler. "Oh it wasn't planned, just thought I would pop in."

"I see," he muses, spotting the basket on the desk. "And you brought cookies; how delightful."

He takes the basket off of the desk and gingerly picks up a treat with his gloved hand. Raising one to his lips, he takes a bite of the cookie, his eyes never leaving your own. "My, these are delicious. Did you try a new recipe?"

"I did," you say brightly. "I thought Diavolo may want some, and they taste the best when they are fresh like this."

"While that is true, the young master has fallen behind on his work and will have to wait to indulge until he finishes," Barbatos explains, giving you a soft smile. "You make it very difficult to say no to you, Mc, but I'm afraid I have to insist we leave the young master alone for a while."

"I appreciate all of your assistance, Barbatos," Diavolo frowns, clearing his throat. "But Mc has come all this way; it would be rude if we were to just send them on their way now."

There is a mischievous glint of mischief in the Butler's eyes as he pulls his green eyes from you to his master, "I couldn't agree more, young master, which is why I do not intend on wasting Mc's visit. Until you finish with your speech I shall have the pleasure of indulging in their company and keeping their gift safe." Barbatos cups your chin gently, "You don't mind, do you, Mc?" 

The way he looks at you makes you weak in the knees and you find yourself nodding along to his request. 

"T-that would be nice," you say, your skin heating up as he gently places a hand on your lower back and escorts you away from Diavolo. The Prince's eyes go wide, and he opens his mouth to protest but knows deep down that Barbatos is right; he should've finished that speech ages ago.

"Wonderful, then how about you and I head down for a warm cup of tea, and I can take care of that little scrape you have on your leg." he smiles, a look of victory on his face as he passes Diavolo, knowing that the time he will have with you is precious. 

After all, there is no way Diavolo would want to waste any more time cooped up in his office when it means he is missing your visit.

Anon request: How do you think the Obey Me brothers would react to a trans (AFAB) reader? Like they spent their given amount of time in the Devildom, went back to the human world for a long enough time to get both top surgery and a hysterectomy (so at least a couple years), maybe some testosterone too if they wanted it. Then when the time comes to go back to the Devildom, the brothers almost wonder if they got the right human! And yet the human's pacts, personality, and verbal recounts are too detailed + specific to be fabricated - they did get the correct person, even though they look quite different now

A/N: there are two parts for this request because the introduction alone is 600 words, but don't worry because I'm writing the second part right now. I could've made this an only part, but I didn't want it to be super long <33

Also, please tell me if I'm incorrect regarding the trans experience in any part of this. I'll gladly correct it.

You would think time is a different concept to immortal beings like them. They’ve been alive for thousands of years, so what’s a couple more in comparison? What feels like an eternity for you probably translates to the blink of an eye in their standards. However, what no one expected was how desperately they’d need you once you went back home.

It started with the constant chatting and their messages keeping your fingers glued to your DDD for almost an entire week since your departure. Of course, it became a problem when you couldn’t even get dressed without them demanding your attention and immediate response, so it quickly changed to phone calls.

As a result, less than a couple of months later, while you worked to adapt once more to your mundane human life, hearing you talk with your mysterious friends on the speaker became the new normal for everyone around you.

They organised themselves to not overwhelm you, assigning turns to each other so everyone could have equal opportunities to keep in touch with you. As expected, not all of them respected their brothers’ time with you, but that’s something you would only know thanks to your access to their private chats.

And as you can imagine, they entertain you quite a lot.

One day they’re detailing a normal day at RAD and the next they’re explaining why Lucifer hanged the six of them and even Lord Diavolo for most of the weekend.

It’s not like they’re looking for trouble, but they still manage to find it.

And you can bet all your money they will be telling you all about it.

You’re thankful, though.

Somehow, although not that surprisingly, their stories become a great source of comfort once you’re alone during your hospital stay or while in bed, letting your body recover. Their nonsense gives you a strange sense of normalcy that keeps everything around you simpler and easier to process.

Your body might’ve changed, but some things will always stay the same.

The most difficult part of all is lying to the brothers about why you’re at the hospital.

It isn’t like you actively want to keep them in the dark. After all, they’re your friends, the ones who love you and would accept you no matter your appearance, but they do have a tendency to carry everything to an extreme and you seriously doubt they’d change that in a matter of seconds.

However, days turn to weeks and months and, although you physically get better, you still keep it a secret from the brothers. Is it the guilt? You’re not sure. It eats you alive and you berate yourself daily for hiding something so important from people who adore you so much, yet you’re unable to confess.

It all comes to an end when you suddenly bump into Solomon in the middle of the street.

Which is actually… kind of weird?

Despite being the one physically closest to you, you’ve barely seen the sorcerer since you both left the Devildom a couple of years ago. Normally, he’s too occupied to respond to your check-up messages right away, let alone hang out with you, so the sight of him leaves you dumbfounded.

Funnily enough, the sight of you also leaves him dumbfounded.

You both stare at each other for more than a couple of seconds while your brains process the situation.

And before you can realise what’s happening, you’re falling.

Ok so this is on the angsty side, you can write this how you generally want but I do hope you keep the concept the same, you can add less angst if you want

Ok so

A replaced AU where MC is pretty much discarded by the brothers so they can pay more attention to the new exchange student. It starts off slowly at first, them saying they want to make sure RN(replacement name) knows their way around and that they’re new so they want to make them feel welcomed, but then it starts becoming where they stop hanging out with MC in general. They stop inviting them out, they forget to tell them food is ready or that they ordered food(they don’t even get them food either). MC just feels very forgotten

Ok so for the actual request now lol

Can you do pretty much this concept for a fic with MC who got attacked and really badly injured by another demon, was found by either Solomon or Simeon, and after they contacted Diavolo(and got MC bandaged and cleaned up) they all collectively decided(Diavolo, Barbatos, Simeon, Solomon, and even Luke) that they wouldn’t tell the brothers what happened. They wouldn’t even have MC go back to HOL, they let them stay at purgatory hall and would have Barbatos keep an eye on them when they were in RAD. They’ll wait to see how long it takes them to notice their absence. And months pass. Months of MC slowly healing from her trauma of being attacked and slowly learning how to be a basic human again. None of the brothers realize MC is even gone. They only notice once one of them need something from them and they ask if anyone has seen them. When they go to Diavolo to ask, he immediately reprimands and yells at them for not noticing the fact that they were gone for MONTHS. He asks where they were when MC was attacked and bleeding out on the floor and where they were when they were healing from that attack

They now all feel like shit and they just get the exact same reaction from Solomon and Simeon when they try and call them too. Everytime they see MC in public, they always have someone by their side, always ready to keep them away from them. When they do see MC from far away, they see how small they look, how they’re constantly looking around and flinching at any sudden movement or loud sound. They feel even worse by the day. They were all also blocked on MC’s DDD so they can’t even try and talk through messages or calls. They need to slowly regain their trust, if they even regain it at all.

Yeah that got a little angsty lol

Again you don’t have to make it as angsty as I described, you can make it as angsty as you want(I would love a good cry though lol)

It was hard being second best at anything. Constantly being passed over and just missing the mark of being best. It hurt, knowing you were so close yet so far from number one. But what you were to the brothers now was far worse than second best; forgotten.

You don't know when this all had started, and initially, you'd been forgiving, because the treatment Rn was getting was the treatment you wished you'd had when you arrived in the Devildom. You wouldn't want to wish a negative experience upon them, since you were in their shoes at one point. And yet after everything, you couldn't find a reason to blame them for anything.

It wasn't their fault they were in the Devildom. It wasn't their fault they were more likable than you. And it wasn't their fault you were attacked.

It was particularly gloomy that day, and it was so windy you almost got swept away a couple times. But the brothers didn't care and you knew it. Your Purgatory Hall friends were all busy at clubs, and while they'd offered a quiet corner for you to do your work in so they could walk you home, you refused. You didn't want to bother then even though you knew they didn't mind.

You thought the walk home would've been uneventful, like it usually was. You were right, and you made it home safely, until you realized you'd left an important textbook in your locker. You made it successfully back to RAD, and were in front of your locker trying to open it when you were slammed from behind into it. You must've hit your head, because everything after that was hazy and you struggled to recall what happened, or who attacked you. The next thing you remembered was Simeon hovering over you, looking more distressed than you'd ever seen him.

The morning after, you woke up with a pounding headache you thought was due to your morning alarm. You'd reached over to turn it off, but before you could, Luke rushed in the room and began scolding you for trying to get up. As he talked at you, his words went in one ear and out the other. The other members of Purgatory Hall, as well as Barbatos entered the room at some point. They all looked strained or disturbed in a way. When you asked what had happened, Solomon was the one to break the news to you. You didn't know quite how to feel, but you knew at the very least that you were finally in good hands.

After this, the four of them sat in the room with you, and just chatted with you. It was nice to feel welcome in such a casual space again. At some point, you realized you weren't at home, and were instead at Purgatory Hall. That was when they revealed their plan to just not tell the brothers, and that you were more than welcome to live with your friends at Purgatory Hall instead. You felt a weak smile form on your face. It was good to be wanted again.

As time passed by, you grew physically better thanks to the attentive care of your new housemates, but the same couldn't be said emotionally. In the comfort of home, you felt safe, especially surrounded by your wonderful support system. At first, you couldn't even bring yourself to leave the house, and the first time you saw one of the brothers again was a major setback, but you did what you could. Those around you gave you all the time you needed to heal, and you let them know you were finally ready to try and take that next step again.

Barbatos and Diavolo had invited the residents of Purgatory Hall over for a nice little tea party, which you were proud to say you were now included in. They’d told you to get dressed up to spend a nice afternoon with them and enjoy yourself. It was something to look forward to, so the night before, you laid out an outfit. The next morning, you woke up feeling excited for once. Your new support system seemed determined to make this the best day possible, and despite asking them not to jump through hoops for you, they went to whatever lengths possible just to see you smile.

You felt possible the happiest you’d ever been since before Rn arrived when you got to the castle. All the little D’s welcomed you enthusiastically and ushered the four of you into the castle. Diavolo was already seated, but got up as soon as you walked into the room. He greeted you with a hug and soon, the five of you were happily talking. Barbatos joined you at some point, and knowing you would insist he relax, he sat down with the promise to get up if you needed anything.

It was supposed to be perfect.

You were enjoying your second cup of tea when there was a frantic knock at the door. It was distant, but you could all hear the panic behind it. Barbatos was the first to get up and he announced he would check it out. The five of you glanced around at each other, but continued as normal. A couple minutes went by, and a little D flew into the room and pleaded with Diavolo for help. This alarmed all of you, but Diavolo had you sit back down while he went to go assist Barbatos. Solomon and Simeon exchanged glances, but did as he asked.

You began to hear yelling, and the door Diavolo had just left through burst open. An awfully familiar pair of blue eyes locked onto you. "Mc!" Mammon called out. You froze, not sure how to react. Solomon stood up, pushing his chair back and letting it scrape against the ground.

Before anyone could speak, Diavolo pushed past Mammon and stood directly in front of him, arms crossed. "I didn't give you permission to enter my home." You'd never seen Diavolo more serious. Mammon was hidden from view now, thankfully, but that couldn't stop the sound of his voice reaching your ears.

"You lied to us. Mc is here." Mammon's tone was so sharp, it nearly cut the tension in the room.

"Why would you do that? We miss them." Levi sounded more angry than you'd ever heard him. The noise of his tails thrashing angrily about against the marble floors echoed through the hall.

"Oh really? You miss them, you say? Did you miss them when they were alone because of your actions? Did you miss them when they were bleeding out in the halls of RAD? Did you miss them in the months of recovery? You were so consumed with Rn that you failed to notice the absence of the very person that solved many of your problems and brought your family back together." Diavolo had shifted into his demon form in the middle of his rant. You could feel the waves of anger peeling off of him, and you knew sure as hell that the brothers could feel it too.

The room was filled with silence again. Solomon moved to stand next to the future king. "You should go now." His voice was soft, but firm.

"I'll see them out." Barbatos was behind the brothers somewhere. They left without much resistance after they got a glimpse at your face. During the entire interaction, you felt silent tears streaming down your face. Luke leant over and tried to offer you a handkerchief with his name embroidered on the corner. When you didn't move to take it, he dabbed the tears from your face for you and embraced you tightly.

"I'm sorry about them, Mc." Diavolo walked back over to you and stood behind you.

"It's alright." You hugged Luke back. Diavolo joined in, causing Solomon and Simeon to as well. "I have you guys, don't I?"

REVIEW

I LOOOOOVED this episode!! It was so good! It was certainly A Lot with how much they decided to fit in, but it honestly wasn't bad and I liked seeing focus on everyone :'). I'm so sad we don't have more storylines to explore all of these cool arcs, but I'm glad we're at least getting to see them <33. Gosh, I am so not ready for this show to end 😭. And even amongst all of that, and of course the asteroid and all that 💀, the calls were still great :'). Okay guys, for the second to last time (😭😭😭😭🥺💔), let's do this :'). Now it's time for the individual parts!!

Marjan!! Her goodbye with Joe 😭😭🥺❤️💔. She's so right, they got so little time :'((. I mean they better be fine but still xD. For them it must be so rough and awful. Still, she was great this episode :'). I'm also just really glad we got to see their goodbye, and her playing with her ring on chain (🥺🥺🥺). We haven't gotten to see much of them and they only just got married, but there was so much going on that it makes sense we couldn't stay on that really. I'm just glad we got some of them since their wedding was last week/episode :')). Anyway, Marjan was amazing at her job as always <33. And just! GUYS! The shammie scene 😭😭😭😭🥺❤️. I might actually die, watching my family goof around one last time :'))? I'm so happy they found each other, and I love them so much <3. Plus Marjan was just being silly with that lol. I love her 🥰.

Judd (and by extension, Grace - no way am I leaving her out of these last few reviews)! I'm so glad that he seems to be doing better <33 :') 🥰. I think the time skip has been longer than it usually would between episodes, definitely longer than a week lol, and it's good to see him doing well <33. Grace definitely helped :'). And you can't make me believe she's not finishing things up so she can be on her way home right now <33. I am so excited for all the finale fix it fics where she shows up at the very end lol. I do wish that would happen, but I know it won't 😭😭. I can hope though 🥺💔❤️ xdd. Anyway, I LOVED seeing the Judd and TK scene 🥺🥺. Definitely something needed and it was so nice to get the reaffirmation of them being brothers :'DD. I love them so much <33. And he's so right too - just the next right thing :'). Judd was great at his job this week <33. Also him and Charlie 😭😭🥺. She's so cute <33. And she doesn't even know :'(( 😭😭. About the meteor I mean xd. Gosh </3. And of course he definitely called the rest of his family lol, you can't make me believe otherwise xD. I love him <33.

Owen! I CAN'T BELIEVE HE'S ACTUALLY LEAVING 😭😭🥺. He better not (I know he probably will) xd. And MY GUY!! WHAT HAPPENED TO TELLING TK FIRST XD. Gosh, some things are always the same /lh lol. I'm not too mad at him but I find it funny xD. Genuinely though, I see why he's doing it. We already saw the reasoning about those kids that look up to him, and I get it. It's a huge thing to be looked up to, heartwarming and sometimes stressful but amazing. And, ultimately, after everything, Owen Strand is a character who helps others. What he enjoys doing is helping others. From the very beginning, his motivation has been helping others. At his best, he is helping others. And it makes sense to see him making that choice one last time <33. HE JUST BETTER SURVIVE 😭😭 XD!! My gosh xdd. You have a kinda-grandchild (soon to be), you can't be going off and dying now xdd. Anyway, seeing him watch the family, his family, play around one last time 🥺🥺😭. I'm so not okay <333. They really are family, and I love that so much <333. No matter what happens, they will always have chosen to be each other's family, and that will last forever :'). Loved the ending speech/speeches <33. Also Owen scrolling by Gwyn's contact was INSANE 😭😭😭❤️❤️💔🥺. She really was his love :'(. Anyway, he did great at his job this episode <3. I love him :') ❤️.

Nancy!! I want to do everybody on their own since I have so far xdd. I totally see her not wanting to get married, very valid and happy for her <3 but it is definitely something that needs to be discussed lol. I love that she could tell Mateo wasn't satisfied with how that conversation ended and tried to get him to talk <33. I do get why he reacted that way though xd. I do think the marriage for green card (even if it doesn't really work like that in real life) is a real possibility, but I hope Nancy and their relationship stay the same no matter what (or at least, not bad changes) <333. Anyway, it's still amazing to see her being captain 😭🥺🥺🥰. Though of course there's baggage around that but xdd. I'm just so glad she's thriving <3. Nancy really has been through it during the course of the show and I'm so glad she's happy now :')). She deserves it so much <33. The fact that she was the only one who knows about Mateo's deportation 😭😭🥺💔. I'm glad he told her <33 but gosh that scene killed me 😭😭 xd :')). They really do love each other so much <33. And the mouthed I love you's under the truck 😭😭😭🥺 I'm not okay <3. Plus that final hug killed me xd. And of course, Nancy was great at her job this week :'). As always lol. I'm just so glad she's gotten to be happy and live this great life, even almost become a plant mom lol :'). No matter what happens, she was happy <33. And she better continue to be lol!! I love her <33 🥰.

Mateo! I totally get why he would assume they would get married, and why he would want that! I do hope they can come up with something they're both happy with though (lol imagine if they were permanently engaged xD), and that they're in the situation to do so 😭. I so wish he hadn't gotten into that argument with the jerk dude, but I see why he did xd. Not only was he emotional after the conversation with Nancy but the dude was awful lol >:( (partly serious partly like bro). I'm SO glad they listened to him and knew that guy was a jerk, but UAAGHHH!! I was suspicious as soon as he was like FBI? like "oh no are they ICE 😭". Aaand I was right xd. And in the current world that is o.o I suppose they could've guessed but really they couldn't have known and that's just wild xd. Certainly something that needs to be said and shown and acknowledged today. I just hope it ends happily :'(( <33. Although the "I'll love you in any country" bit destroyed me 😭😭🥺. And the fact that Nancy said he's her person? UOGH, so right <33. I'm so glad they've gotten this time to be happy, like I said for Nancy :')). Mateo has also seriously gone through it over the years (they all have honestly lol), and he's such a pure soul <3. I'm just so glad he got to be happy for so long :')). NOW THAT BETTER CONTINUE LOL!! Also seeing a little bit more of his and Owen's relationship, like with the telling/not telling each other thing, was great <33. They've always been there for each other, whether that's talking or not, and I love that <33. Mateo of course also did great at his job :'). I love him <33 ❤️🥰.

Paul! My GOSH I loved his storyline this episode!!! In that very first episode Owen said "Somewhere in this town right now is a kid who's just like you were - still scared, hopeless. I'd like you to show him, her, or they, it's okay to be who you are." And UAGHH that was such a BEAUTIFUL moment, and to see it FINALLY come full circle here was just amazing. Also we love to see Paul's detective skills coming in handy!! It's just a small thing but searching through Jax's videos and picking out what was important definitely showed that. And I just- gosh. I get it. I mean, I don't get it get it, I'm not trans, but I've grown up queer in a not so progressive area for a long time. I've seen my friends shoved into the closet by the school system, or eye rolls and scoffs and pronouns and identities. Having to deal with that personally, and in Texas no less (of course Texas can be progressive but is usually rather conservative)? I totally see why Jax is doing the things they are. I so hope they get some better friends 😭🥺. They don't have to totally abandon the ones they have now or anything, but you need friends that are better for you. I'm just so glad Paul was there to talk to them 😭🥺🥺 <3. He waited there because he knows what it's like, how much it hurts, how dangerous it is :'(. And you can tell just how desperate he is to help Jax. And Jax not believing him that he gets it 😭 xD, understandable lol, but it's kind of funny since he does :'). Paul understands, and he's there for you :')) 🥺🥺🥺😭❤️. GOSH I'm just so not okay, the scene in the hospital was so amazing. And it was so realistic that after that, Jax still left with their friends :'((. It's hard to let go of the one thing you have. Also, random side note, I love how Judd immediately accepted once he understood what they meant with the pronouns :')). Obviously he's not transphobic it's just great to see from an ally <3. And I will say, at first I thought the clear statement was about heavy handed TV show wise lol, but it made much more sense when I realized that was a focus and not just a quick call :). Anyway, I'm SO GLAD Jax showed up at the 126 at the next 🥺🥺❤️. I was hoping they would and thinking they might :')). The 126 has got them, and I hope after all of this they can continue to hang around there <33. Keep adopting random people 126 :'D LOL. But the fact that they (Jax) knew they could trust them and it was the best place to be <3 GOSH I'm not okay <3. Obviously, Paul was amazing at his job this episode :'D (as always). Iconic as lieutenant once again <3. And again, it's just so wonderful to see his character arc come full circle like this. I wish we'd gotten more of it earlier on, but I'm so happy to get this :'). It's the big reason (besides money lol) that convinced Paul to start working at the 126 in the first place - helping kids like him. And I'm so glad he can do that <3. In the future if he started up like a community center or something I would absolutely love that :')). But for now, he's doing great where he is <3. I love him ❤️🥰.

Carlos! Him reassuring TK with the setting up for the social worker's visit was 🥺🥺. TK seriously was spinning out, and it was funny xD (Carlos definitely also thought so lol), but in the end Carlos always knows how to help him calm down <333 :'). Guys, I'm so not ready to let them go xdd 😭🥺. Anyway xd. Him just working on the shelf the whole time was great lol. And the KISSS 😭 stop I'm not okay <333. Also, Carlos Reyes knows nothing if not grab TK's head or neck lol xDD. Anyway, they're the best :')). Carlos talking about his family in the interview 🥺🥺😭❤️. I think it was a great way to describe all the complicated stuff of their relationship/what they went through, but I'm so glad he made sure she knew that both of his parents loved him and he had a good relationship with them (every relationship is complicated at some point, in some way, after all <3). Still hurt though :')). Just acknowledging all of that and thinking about Gabriel again :'(( <3. And UAGHHH GOSH Carlos defending TK and his sobriety 😭😭🥺 it's the best thing. He barely even needed defending, it sucks but those are questions that make sense (especially societally), but Carlos absolutely would <33. And also stop when TK asked, which is almost even better lol :'). I just love how much he's immediately willing to jump TK protect him <3. But UAGH why did you have to talk about the most dangerous parts of being a Texas Ranger!! SIR WHY!!! anyway, this better get sorted out somehow 😭😭. I know most likely it'll be one of them quitting, and probably TK, but I just don't want it to end up like that xd. Still, I'll love them no matter what <3. They just better get Jonah, because Carlos is so right, they are so ready to love him (and already do of course) 😭😭🥺❤️. Also Carlos's arc as a dad is just <333 I wish we got to see more of it but him honoring his dad through it as well (though obviously he wants to besides that) is just 😭🥺. And of course, "Hi baby" UAAAGHHHH 😭😭😭😭. Y'all I didn't even fully register it while watching but you were SO RIGHT it was just so UAGH, the defeat the emotion the love the resignation the emotionsss in two words 😭😭 so good <333. But everything better be fine xdd xD. I love him <33.

TK! TK spinning out was hilarious xDD. Like bro you are not offering Jonah your bedroom 💀 no xD. Once again, I love how Carlos can just so easily get through to him, help him to calm down and realize all the good and the facts :')). We've seen it time and time again and it is still just so beautiful <3. And again, the KISSSS!! It was so soft and sweet :')). I just love them so much guys <33 😭. The talking about families once again got me with TK xd. Though interesting new TK lore that it was a bike crash that started his addiction!! Good to know for fics for all of us lol :)) (though of course everybody can keep doing whatever they want lol). But I love that he talked about how much his parents loved him (and even each other honestly but yk) instead of just the divorce <33. Because truly, ultimately, in the end, they did. And that was the most important thing :'). That could reunite them from anything <33. And he is so ready to do/be that for Jonah 😭😭🥺❤️ (but a little more stable lol). But WHY DID YOU TALK ABOUT THE MOST DANGEROUS PARTS OF YOUR JOB!! NO 😭😭😭 XD. TELL ABOUT THE TIMES YOU WRAP SOMEONE'S ARM AFTER A CAR ACCIDENT AND THEN DRIVE TO THE HOSPITAL WITH NO LIGHTS OR SIRENS ON BRO!! Anyway xD. Carlos is a little more excusable but dude she did not need to know how dangerous your way of being a paramedic is 😭 xD. And GOSH y'all I just will not live if they cannot adopt Jonah xdd. I'm sure it'll work out but uuoaaghh 😭😭 xd. And I know TK is probably the most likely to quit his job but I hope he doesn't 😭🥺. A I still need my 126 family, and at the 126 xD, but B I just love being a paramedic for him. Of course sacrifices have to happen for parenthood but I hope it isn't this for them :'((. Anyway, his talk with Judd was amazing 😭😭😭🥺❤️ I absolutely loved it, and I loved them supporting each other and referencing the program <33 :'). TK's reaction was perfect too, surprised but immediately understanding and supportive <3. Also, I love how much TK cares about Jonah, about this, adopting him. Obviously he does, Jonah is his brother, but he went from someone who didn't care about anything at the beginning of the show, to someone who can stress about a toddler bed!! Obviously it still sucks but he has this <3 he has these feelings, he cares, and nothing can take that away from him <3. It's not just gray anymore :'). It's filled with colors <33. And I love that for him :')) 😭😭❤️🥰. Of course, he was great at his job this week as always <3. I love him <3 🥰❤️.

Tommy! Of course, you know I had to save her for last. I won't make this super long right now, but I just have to say her storyline was amazing. I so wish it wasn't ending like this, and she BETTER be okay next episode 😭, but I'm not sure (especially giving how Gina talked about how she wasn't too happy with how it went down). But dang it, she gave it her all - the character in universe and Gina as an actress. Her scenes were so hauntingly beautiful - like, those sobs 😭😭😭💔? Absolutely destroyed me. The cough turned sob, too, just- wow. She has fought so hard and she absolutely deserves to rest <3. I just hope she gets to do that in her home with her babies for another 40 years 😭 xd. But, bringing Charles back was amazing. I so agree that he was her love, and she absolutely deserves to see him again <33 - as did we, as an audience. And him caring for her, welcoming her in 😭 that was so perfect for them <33. And if it truly was the end, I'm glad she got to lay down peacefully, with a smile <33. It absolutely RUINED me cinematically, that whole thing, like the ticking stopping and stuff 😭 but it was beautiful <33. She just better be okay xd. And not to get sappy about character arcs (like I haven't been doing that this whole time), but she's been through so much crap. And so much of it she's done for her kids, for her family. In the end, she did one more thing for them (even if they probably wouldn't appreciate it as much as she thinks :'(() :'((. And she also got a moment of peace, to herself <3. If this is the end, Rest in Peace Tommy Vega <33 ❤️❤️🥰💔😭😭. But it better not be xd. She was great at her job of just, her life. I love her <333 ❤️❤️❤️🥰❤️.

Overall, I really enjoyed this episode :'). It was so great to see everyone's focus and their storylines, seeing their journey wrap up. And of course, watching them be a family <33. The calls were great, the tension and the ending, final atmosphere were great (if obliterating to me not just them 😭), and it was all in all just such a good episode. I'm so not ready to let this show go :'). After everything, after having it be a comfort and focus for me when things were awful, after meeting so many wonderful people and enjoying these episodes together :'), after writing what I think was around 7 fics (not all posted) and having it be the first fandom to reach 3 published works of mine on AO3 :'). I love this show so much, and I'm so glad I got to experience it with you all <33. This episode and the emotions with it were so amazing, and even though it will be devastating I'm sure the next episode will be amazing 😭🥺❤️. No matter what, it will be worth it :'). I love these characters so much and I'm glad they've gotten such a cool ending, even if I wish it was farther down the line <3. It was an amazing episode :)), with a ton of good moments.

So yeah! I loved the episode, I thought it was really great. All the emotions were on point and the tense atmosphere was so perfect. I'm scared but excited for the next one! This has been my review of. . .

I feel like having a wolf centaur body would mostly just be incontinent and very uncomfortable.😅

Typically, wolves display crepuscular behavior, meaning they prefer times of low light and are most active around twilight, dawn, and dusk. Imagine how that would clash with your human body which is supposed to sleep at night and stay awake all day..

You'd have to change your diet to give both your human AND wolf half the nutrients they need. It would be MUCH harder to clean yourself and wipe your own bum. You'd have to pay loads for pet shampoo and grooming products PLUS the human ones you already use.. You'd spend hours trying to groom your fur and not damage your wolf skin when you try to clean your human skin with other products and vice versa. All clothes have to be custom made, you cant sit or walk comfortably in any public spaces.. You'd have to go to human doctors AND special vets to care for both of your halves...

The list just goes on <XDD being a wolf centaur would just suck in my opinion.

XD I think I just have a pattern with medias I'm into. If the story is mostly wholesome it feels bland. So I add a bunch of angst to it. (Octonauts is a good example)

Or alternatively, if the story is super angsty or has types of angst that I don't take well, (like character deaths) then I usually make a fix-it AU that brings everyone back to life and changes/removes a lot of the angst. (TADC and my Undertale AU: RefinedTale being good examples)

Also in my AU, Kaufmo hasn't abstracted. So she bonded with the other humans in other ways overtime. 👍

Welcome back, dear!! Sorry your request took a while, days have been quite rough recently, haha! I had fun with this, even if it's quite angsty! You can imagine any twisteds you want, too! Lemme know if I did it wrong, here you go! Thank you for requesting! <3

-Oh, how it hurt you when you watched the toons you interacted with slowly disappear or even turn into.. these things, hungry for killing. It really did hurt you, especially when you had got to know everyone for so long. Friends you were happy to greet every day now had disappeared, either you knew they turned into a so-called twisted or went missing with absolutely no one knowing what happened to them. You could always hope they were still sane but the situation never was really hopeful.

-It actually didn't take long for you to join them too, I mean.. you got to know them so well and every single one of them would chase you down, remembering absolutely nothing about you. All the gifts from them in your room, instead of them bringing you comfort, it only brought you pain. You knew exactly what had happened to them, you could see how shaky or in pain they were, it was devastating. Their red eyes would lock in on you as they chased you, desperate for a kill.

-It really did break the remaining's toons hearts when they found out that you happened to be next. So many of them even lost hope further. You were a toon that brought almost everyone this.. comfort and warmth, even in this hopeless situation. Just a simple greeting would make them feel that things were okay for just a bit, being able to smile, even if a little. You remembered a bit about how many of them came to grieve together with you if one of their beloved friends had been taken by twisteds.

-You as a twisted.. you were quite different. Instead of toons and chasing them down, you focused on your twisted friends. You stayed away from toons, knowing that something horrible will happen if you allowed yourself close to them. You watched as your twisted friends usually wandered around like they were searching for something without resting. You tried to reach out to them, usually getting pushed away as it seems that you have angered them, though others such as Goob or even Toodles, you felt under your palms that they shook from the pain.

-You didn't give up, you never did. You felt the urge to take care of everyone you saw, even if just a little. Others were aggressive, others just stood still, others loved to feel your care. Even those that pushed you away had come to learn that you aren't that bad, after all. You try to wipe away any ichor you can but it was basically stuck on them so well. You learned eventually to give up on this as many of them had hidden wounds under all that ichor, one wrong move and they are aggressive all over again as they seem to sob from the pain.

-Some of them even tend to follow you around and even fight with each other harshly as they are fighting for your care and love, but you always try to calm them down as best as you can. You were also in lots of pain, too, after all. If you happen to get affected a lot by their fighting, they would notice and try to break it off, trying to make sounds at you as if they are checking up on you. It hurt you seeing your beloved friends fight so.. hard like this with each other, hell, it hurt you a lot seeing them in pain!

-Fighting for food.. a lot of them shared their own food with you. You would try your best to let them keep it instead and their eyes would look at you before looking at the food. If possible, they would split it as much as they can for you to eat as well, they don't like seeing you suffering from hunger, after all. Sometimes though, ichor would get on the food and they would try to desperately wipe it away with frustration. It's quite a sight to witness, it's both touching and depressing.

-If you ever try to hug them or show them affection, it's going to take a good while for them to get used to it. They mostly feel pain, twitching and feeling negative emotions well from all the pain the ichor was giving them. You need to have lots of patience when touching them but it's a good thing that you were determined to make them feel at least a bit okay. Caress them and some of them would shake more as they wail, some would just grow quiet as they stare at you and some would even lean on your hand.

-Good luck attempting to get some sleep on these floors, especially if none of you have access to your rooms and beds. Your eyes hurt, body is aching and there isn't really a place comfortable enough to sleep. No blankets, no soft pillows and it's also hard to get some shut eye if someone is groaning from the pain. You do your best to make them calm down, at least calm enough for them to rest and maybe get some shut eye. Some of them want to lay against you, finding your warmth inviting. Leaning against you like this is better than whatever else the floor had, they found comfort in you and even your presence, feeling more calmer in general.

-You really did have an impact on them, even if they were this aggressive before. You wished you could also go to your other twisted friends on other floors just to help them but the elevator will never open it's doors for you ever again. You had calmed them down enough where they would just.. stare at any toon they saw. Of course, they did feel pain and were in a bad mood but they usually just followed remaining toons slowly and oberved intensely. Yes, it was uncomfortable but hey! At least they didn't chase them so desperately like before. If a miracle happens and they let you to the elevator to reach other floors, you hoped you can care for your other suffering beloved friends.

So, I am a ‘Gale Cums Early’ truther for times when he desperately, ferally wants/needs Tav. I don’t consider that embarrassing or a flaw, I find it hot as hell.

And I feel like this would be one of those times.

He’s used up every last ounce of willpower to deny himself for an entire month. Would a starving man daintily pick at his food selection if a buffet were to suddenly appear before him? Or would he ravenously, gluttonously feast?

But wait, you might argue, he went without sex or masturbation for a whole year while the orb was embedded in his chest, and yet he managed to ‘control’ himself enough to make love to Tav with no…surprises…on that first night in the shadowlands.

Yes indeed—but he’d also had the benefit of nerves then. Of uncertainty about the future. Of not being able to fully lose himself in the experience because he’d needed it to be flawless for Tav as well as for himself.

And most importantly—he hadn’t yet known just how exquisite and magnificent and life-giving each of he and Tav’s unions would be, and how each time would improve upon the last.

None of the incorporeal lovemaking he’d had with Mystra could ever come close to the feeling of sheathing himself in Tav, their taste already on his tongue, their sweat and musk and arousal combining into the most intoxicating perfume he’d ever known—

—and GODS, the incomparable perfection of their thighs clenching around him—!

So you see, when No Nut November ends and Tav is ready to reward him, Gale is READY TO BE RELEASED UNLEASHED REWARDED.

No magic necessary; all practiced tongue, gentle teeth, grasping hands, and a hunger that borders on desperation.

Tav’s hand running through his hair, their other hand running over his back. Feeling him harden as he ruts against their thigh. Moving their hand from his back to his stomach, trailing along until they feel his erection, his precum already seeping through his unlaced briefs. some me being a nerd under the cut!

okay so this all started when I read the original post this was inspired by and though 'wouldn't it be silly to add some art to this 3 year old post?' but then I decided to animate it for funsies!

and gosh I sure do love animating!

So I got the base sketch and then got into the lineart animation for each component!

i don't have the sketches/wips saved at all sense this wasn't really a project and it took less than a day to complete. but here's a peak at the timeline

I animate entirely in my ususal drawing software: clip studio paint. It's just what's easiest for me.

all of these layers outside that folder are just the sparkles! after I finished I added some sparkles for fun! there's a lot of them because it involved a lot of copy and pasting sparkle layers

the bottom folders here are the wings body and facial expression! for everything like the wings arms and flags I was able to just copy paste, reverse, and then align the timing correctly in the timeline

one thing unique about this animation is that the lineart and colors are in separate layers! I tend to do line and colors on the same layer but this time I was using a brush that doesn't have the same lack of anti-aliasing and sense it's a small animation I wasn't as worried about keeping a minimum of layers like usual.

also the movement of the body is only 4 frames! and one one of those is just the hat shifting position

initially I wasn't going to have the second facial expression but when I got stuck on animating the flags I added the second facial expression while taking a break.

the arm animation is just 8 frames! honestly the only tricky part in this is the flags, everything else was pretty simple, which made it super fun to work on because I got both a challenge and mindless therapeutic drawing out of it.

NOW THE FLAGS there was 3 throw away attempts before I got it: you see the thing that made this tricky is finding the balance between believability and visual appeal. a big part of animation is creating the illusion of physics, this is the 'believability' part, I need these to look like flags that are moving and made of flat fabric, HOWEVER if I animate these one-to-one with realistic physics: it won't look good! I can't apply wind to the whole drawing because then the hair would have to react, and wind goes one way, and I wan't the flags to be pointing opposite directions. so without wind the flags would be laying down flat, but that won't look good at all! and furthermore realistic physics would have the flag not being all nice and front facing most of the time. so the trick here was figuring out how much physics to apply to make it look believable, while still making it look good.

one trick I did to help me animate the flags is I actually made a plan rectangle flag as a guide so that the general mass/volume of the flag would stay consistent, this is something i highly recommend when animating! like having a circle guide along a characters head to keep their height and proportions consistent.

after I finally found the balance with the flag lineart coloring wasn't too hard! sense I just had to follow the lines, and THANK GOODNESS the trans and aroace flag have the same number of stripes: saving me time!

and then it all comes together to make a satisfying perfectly looping bundle of cuteness >:DDD I feel like the tau fandom doesn't have as many artists with particularly cartoony/chibi art styles so I've gotta play my part in spreading the joy-whimsy-adorable-sillys >:D
