That's a good question.. originally I intended that she was her robe. There was gonna be a thing where Spamton stepped on her robe and she yelped in pain.

Or something where they get in a fight and River person is struck. There's a gash on her robe and it later scars.. like its skin.

But since then I've gone back and fourth. Imagining her as this shadowy creature that needs some kind of cloth in order to manifest. Kind'a like possessing her robe..? So if you took the hood off there would be no head but she's still there?? I haven't thought it through yet <XD

Theoretically other people could learn the power yeah, but they would have to go through the very specific scenario that Jevil went through and have the same reaction to it that he did in order to learn how. Its not something he can really teach to others..

He was told about a way to escape this world. And after 10 years in confinement and nearly loosing all of his sanity.. he used the power in his very soul to rip through the wall of his world and escape.

If the roles were reversed and Seam went through all that, I cant say that he would have learned how to make the mirrors.. He might have just succumbed to the depression and insanity..

I suppose its possible..? But I don't think Bonnie would be willing to go that far to escape from the stress of everything. He does get breaks at night so..

Popping in to say that you have such an... Honest and natural. way to write about regression and that it has really, really impressed me . Lots of regression stuff focuses lot on... The aesthetic I guess? And I feel that is completly cool and valid and wish fullfily and good, if a fic about a character going out regressed with a caretaker and buying twenty build a bears is your jam, more power to you! I am just really impressed at how you describe the feeling of being small in a way that doesn't necessarily need to go into that direction all the way tough. You could write a fic about character A just sitting on the couch by themself and making themself a snack while watching a movie and from your description of their feelings and their inner monologue alone I could not only tell that they are little at that moment, but also that they are little at that moment in a way I find relatable, even if "outwardly" they would seem non regressed to everyone around them. I wish I could describe this better and I sincerely hope I don't come across like I don't see the value in just unapologetically "aesthetic" stuff full of plushies and sippy cups and cute clothes and the whole shebang etc. As well just... I don't know, you write about that in a way that is very realistic and charming to me and I love it. I hope you have a great day.

Pearl or maya fey for the character asks??

WAAAAA pearl is one of my all time favorite characters <3 (note: I have only played through the trilogy so far and am working on AA4, so this will only be aa2 and aa3 pearl opinions).

favorite thing about them: she is. so kind. she’s so pure of heart and so determined to do so much good. i have so many favorite things about her but her kind heart is definitely at the top of the list.

least favorite thing about them: i don’t know if i have a least favorite thing about pearl! she can be naive at times, and is definitely easy to manipulate, but that is the fault of morgan fey, not pearl herself. we can see how much she grows throughout the series thanks to maya and phoenix, but her (sometimes unfortunate) unwavering loyalty to her family is present all the way through BTTT.
