The concept for this comic came to me abruptly and I knew I had to draw it before I lost interest in it. It was too funny/cute not to draw, haha.

In the third panel, Toilet holds up the paper, revealing a very rough drawing (with the purple ink running) of two catlike creatures, both depicted with stick limbs. The one sitting on the left has a large screen head with MePad's scribbled face and ears on top and is labeled "MEPAD" while the one standing on the right has Toilet's bowl and lid for a mouth and is labeled "ME." Toilet proudly announces, "I drew us as kitties! What do you think?"

In the fourth panel, MePad stares forward with a blank expression on his face.

In the fifth panel, MePad's expression turns into an amused smile as a notification appears at the bottom of his screen, showing a smaller image of Toilet's drawing alongside text reading, "Image saved to Memories" /end ID]

By the way, does anyone actually think that Phineas is bossy to Ferb?

Because as a brother, they have possibly the least confrontational, most emotionally healthy bond of any sibling ever. I never got any impression other than that Phineas was the dominant brother because that's how Ferb liked it. (I think he even once had blueprints already ready before Phineas)

I think it’s a joke most of the time when they say it, but there are some people who think it actually goes that deep, that Ferb is shy and smart and a people-pleaser, and Phin takes advantage of that, but it is, as the kids say, not that deep.

Phineas talks a lot because he likes to talk, and he can’t keep it in. Ferb doesn’t like to talk a lot, he likes to act. He likes doing things. And that’s perfect, because Phineas comes up with great ways to get off the couch and do things all day, and Ferb’s right there with the toolbox, ready to go.

Phineas doesn’t boss anyone around. He just says what they’re usually both brewing up in their heads. Sometimes, Ferb inspires the big idea, or adds on to them, and yes, more than once Ferb has the blueprints all drawn up before Phineas even finishes talking. They’re often on the same exact wavelength (except when it comes to the necessity of folk-related elements in a skateboarding-safety suit).

They’re the best! Ferb trusts Phineas implicitly (“Well, has he been wrong before?” and “Don’t worry, Ferb, your secret’s safe with me!”, anyone?) and Phineas just adores Ferb. And I love them both.

Or when finals are done anyway. So I can rewatch and make a few meta posts, mostly, because I really wanna have thoughts but my brain is to tired right now.

But I just wanna say how much I fucking loved dead boy detectives. Like that was such a genuinely good time. I was delighted—even through the sadder bits—it was just so fucking fun. That’s the main thing I keep getting hung up on, it was just such a joy to watch.

Highly recommend it, seriously, normally don’t binge but I just watched all of it with the best company so that always makes it even better.

I just really really really loved it and I know what I’m going to be recommending people nonstop for the next while so I can share that adoration lol.
