I love all the Derek love omg-

Okay so fun facts ab each of them !! A big thing with my ocs is that each one of them is built around one of my own personality traits. (They're still their own people- Freya is the closest one to an actual self insert.)

Aurora's trait is tragic idealism. She always wants to think the best of people, even if the proof of the opposite is staring her in the face. She also has published about 5 books by Step Four, all of which she finds in Baxter's apartment (to his mortification).

Felicity's is the fact that she draws all of her opinions about herself from her ability to do things– The main source of her insecurities is the fact that her disability is always going to disable her. She also painted the wall around her window when she was 16. It was part of a theraputic project.

Oline is self-isolation. She finds that every time she lets herself get close to anyone who isn't a childhood friend, it turns out bad for her, which only gets worse when she has Sasha. She also is my only oc that punches Jeremy.

Freya is maladaptive daydreaming. With reality being so inconsistent, it's easier to just think about the ways things could be. If she can convince other people that things could be good too, then no one would have to be sad anymore. She exists in the same timeline as Aurora, and actually helps in the editing process of Aurora's books.

Trixie is emotional instability, specifically difficulty controlling anger. Things aren't fair, and they don't feel like they should need to pretend they are. I actually originally wrote him to be an invesitgative journalist in crime cases, but I felt like I had too many writing-based career ocs so I had to scrap the idea, and he is now a cosmetologist.

Sweetheart loves cuddling with Milo. morning cuddles, just-got-off-of-work cuddles, post intimate time cuddles, they love them all. they love feeling Milo's skin touch their own, love rubbing and tracing small patterns on his skin. sleepy-time cuddles are their favorite, burying their face in Milo's neck and just feeling everything

Darlin' loves sleeping with Sam. not sex sleeping, literal sleep. they love knowing that they can show such a vulnerable side of themself to their mate, love that they can curl up next to him and drift off without a care in the world. sleep comes easier to Darlin' if it's sleep with Sam

Lovely loves Vincent's kisses. they love it when Vincent comes up behind them, wraps his arms around their waist and kisses their neck, reminiscent of before Lovely's turning. they love it when Vincent gets a bout of cuteness aggression and peppers their face in kisses, loves it when he gently kisses their scars when they feel like they're not good enough. they love kissing Vincent in return, feeling that slight spark of surprise and delight through their eternal bond

Treasure loves being held by Porter. when people held them in the past, it was always predatory, possessive; a clawed hand staking its claim on their hips, suffocating them. being held by Porter is different. it's softer, gentler, and always always easy to break, in the event that they want to step away (not that they ever would). they love being held in his arms, their head against his chest, listening to his subtle heartbeat. they love how gentle he is with them, and how warm he feels despite being a vampire
