Omg I LOVE your pinescone stories they give me life :3 I have a few questions is you don’t mind
What is your favorite pinescone head cannon?
What is your favorite au?
Which one’s your least?
I saw that you used to write parapines is that still a ship that you write about or will is forever be in your heart?
In a zombie apocalypse how do you think the Pines family including Wendy and Soos etc (+ Wirt & Greg) would go about it? Who would survive?
That’s all the questions I have for now :3
((Thank you so much! I'm so glad you enjoy my writing! It means the world to me. And yes, please feel free to ask any question you have.))
1. My number 1 headcanon is that they are equals-- that even with their strengths and weaknesses, their differences, they both value each other so dearly; to the point you almost forget that they're a crossover ship because of how much these two complete each other. And by that I mean, the two look at each other like the other is the moon and the stars. If these two aren't hopelessly in love and amazed by their partner, I don't want it! I hate when Wirt is forced to be in the back, or is made weaker and more cowardly by the narrative; I hate the concept of Wirt being just a pretty face for Dipper to save, or that anything Wirt can do-- Dipper does better. I don't mind Dipper saving Wirt, I don't mind Wirt being cautious or uncertain, or even afraid-- but I love when Wirt gets to be heroic too (because he is). I love seeing him excel at the things he's good at, and I think he brings strategy to the team dynamic that is not utilized enough; Wirt is the guy who's going to notice Dipper's blindspots and point them out to better strengthen the plan. I love when they both get to be sassy; their personalities would give them such good banter to bounce off each other. They are both adorable, dorky, emotional, but also very hotheaded and stubborn characters. There are few ships where I feel like any direction you go is canonical because of how multifaceted they are as characters (that's not to say I agree or like all of directions, but I can at least acknowledge why that decision was made). Wirt doesn't always have to be the one held up by sticky tape! Out of all the bad end friends-- Wirt is the only one I've see that canonically did not fall for a demon's trick. He never got posessed, he never made a deal, he wasn't tricked--if anything, he actually called the bluff of said Demon (something that Dipper failed the first time) when he was like 14 years old. I want to see more of that in my pinescone. The idea that Wirt would be so easily tricked by Bill just doesn't sit right with me. It never has.
Tumblr media
Another headcanon I'm more in favor of: Dipper can cook (I know a lot of people have headcanoned him as the bad cook between him and Mabel, and between him and Wirt-- but he's literally the guy who follows steps and checklist-- what do you mean he doesn't know how to use a cookbook?
Tumblr media
If anything, Mabel is the wildcard who can either make something really delicious....or put you in the hospital for food poisoning. You'll notice in my more recent fics the...monstrosities Mabel has loving created in the kitchen, and that she's even been banned from one kitchen before.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So yeah, Dipper can cook, Wirt can cook--and I love the idea of these two cooking together. I have others, but some are a little more risque, and this is already going to be a long ask, so I won't write everything down-- but here are two of my big headcanons (One was more a rant, apologies). 2. My favorite au, I don't wanna sound pretentious, but most Pinescone Au's I enjoy are the ones I've made for myself-- I have a lot of ideas, and so I think up a lot of situations with these dorks, though most are just free floating in my brain right now. Eventually I want to write them all down, but that may take some time. The closest Pinescone au that I enjoy that isn't mine is a mix of monsterfalls/Musume. Basically where Wirt is a human and he falls in love with Deerper-- and the two have to navigate that kind of relationship while certain laws and societal norms want to dissaude them from forming an interspecial relationship (even though in monsterfalls, most people became monsters from other means, rather than just being born monsters) Either way, the idea of Deerper snuggling up to a human Wirt and flirting through Cervitaur mating rituals is so fucking cute-- and I have wanted to write a small series story for that au. Also, just a shout out, but I enjoy @clubsheartsspades Pinescone meet-weirds! Those are such fun aus-- they've made for some of my personal favorite oneshots!
Tumblr media
Also, even though they just started, I'm really enjoying that Au where the two start off on the wrong foot in "Horrible First Impressions" by Philia. I want those two to fuck nasty make out in their creative writing class! The tension is so good, and I can't wait to see the turning point where frustration becomes affection. 3. My least favorite au might be more clear-- as you'll notice a lack of two specific....villains in most of my fiction. Basically, Dead Ends Friends, but specifically Murder Husbands is on my low list of au's. To me, Bill and Beast are defeated; I rather the story revolve around Dipper and Wirt facing new challenges and deadly foes-- not the same one's they took care of as children. I don't mind if people like using Bill or Beast (they're great, entertaining villains, I get why people love them). I even love a lot of the art that involves Bipper and Weast; it's amazing art as usual. But I don't consider either aus to be Pinescone-- as it's just Bill and The Beast inhabiting their bodies. I'd enjoy it more if I could see glimpses of Dipper and Wirt in some moments, where they're allowed to take comfort and fall in love before their bodies are once more puppeted by the demons. If the story is just beast and bill doing fucked up things in their host-- with no shift to the real people underneath-- then It's not really what I want to read. I don't mind possession stories, or one being controlled-- I don't mind some darker content (Proxxy is an old Pinescone fic that is still very sexy and fucked-- and it involves Bill possessing Wirt... but the thing is, Wirt doesn't just take a back seat; his thoughts are still being shown to the audience. We still get to know what he's thinking and feeling, even when he has no control over his body). That kind of shit, now that I love. But again, Bill and Beast are NOT Dipper and Wirt to me.
Tumblr media
4. Parapines has a soft spot in my heart, but I have moved on from the ship entirely. I made a joke about it once:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Which again, it's just a joke but it does feel like thousands of years have passed). In all seriousness, I don't think I'll be coming back to the Parapines fandom. I think I once wanted to do a fic where Dipper and Wirt broke up, and for the summer, Dipper started dating Norman, before making up with Wirt again, as a kind of farewell, final sendoff to my old ship. I never finished it, but who knows, I still have the rough draft. I have a lot of WIPS I keep just in case I wanna come back and finish (you'd be surprised how many of my fics were wips for years before I posted them to ao3). 5. In a zombie apocalypse? They all would. We saw the pines family + Wendy and Soos survive a demon apocolypse, I think they can take on a zombie apocalypse as well. Wirt and Greg would be more beat up and worse for wear, but I imagine they could hold their own, until they met up with the Pines Family (though I had one zombie au but that's a different story). Now if they were all separated, or at least how would they stand on their own? Here's what I think (I'll try not to get too graphic): Dipper- Either survives/ Holds out for a long time, but would likely sacrifice himself to save someone he loves--Zombied Mabel- Either Survives/ (If Dipper dies) she would lose hope and probably fall prey to a bite--Zombied Soos- Zombied Stan- Survives / (If both twins Zombied) he would lose hope and be zombied next Ford- Survives Wendy- Survives Pacifica- Zombied Wirt- Would try to hold out if protecting Greg, though may also take his and Greg's life to spare them both. (Self Inflicted). Greg- (If he's young) Zombied without Wirt/ possibly mercy killed by Wirt (if he's an adult): Survives, though heavily traumatized. Maybe having lost a limb to stop a bite from spreading. ((Thank you so much for the ask, I appreciated this so much! Wow this was a lot and I'm so happy <3 I love receiving asks about these two!))

Since June had to eat those dishes to find out what Hello and Goodbye's favorite and least favorite foods were, what were Hello and Goodbye's initial reactions to their favorites and least favorites for the first time? (like the first time June ate jello or alfredo or something)
Hello saw Jello on tv and was immediately enamoured, had June make some and was overjoyed at the fact that it tasted exactly the way it looked
He thought that shrimp looked delightfully silly and thought they would taste like marshmallows because they’re pink. He was disgusted by the flavour and I’ll tell you right now it sucks feeling like you have to throw up when you don’t have a mouth
Goodbye tasted popcorn when they snuck him to a movie theatre for the first time, and he focused more on making sure June kept eating the popcorn than the actual comedy they went to see.
June had some Alfredo sauce from a microwave meal and Goodbye can’t stand it, he thinks it tastes so bland it’s like eating phlegm. Texture is the worst part for him.

Why do you need to reread MHA ending when your story is so much better and falling its own path ?
I like to keep some things canon, even if I do complete canon-divergence. I love to re-read Shouto and Touya related chapters before writing them as I think (I hope at least 😂😂) it gives me a better feel of the way they move and talk. Also, I get inspired.
The whole PoW formed in my head when I was reading Dabi's dance chapters.

I loved your update 😆💖 it was so good. Though it made me wonder!! If this is somehow a spoiler let me know, but does Yuuji not have his cellphone on him? 👀
It could be a spoiler of course. I could imagine a moment where Gojo goes snooping and finds Yuuji's phone 😆
But yeah, it's something I've been curious about!
I've kind of been waiting for someone to ask this believe it or not 🤣
Before I posted Entombed I went back through and reworked the first three chapters to flesh them out so they would better fit the direction my writing had started going in. While I was doing that I had the brief thought of, "Hey, Yuuji probably has a cell phone in his pocket...I wonder if anyone else is going to care about a thing like that." Thanks for proving it really is the smallest things that can make the biggest differences 😆
Yuuji still has his cell phone, but he didn’t have a charger on him when he got transported to the past, so the thing is deader than a doornail. Maybe I'll work in Satoru finding it one day though, just because.

🍦 - how good is your communication with the rest of the system? does it vary much between different alters?
Overall communication is sort of iffy, usually there's long moments of silence and then like a few minutes, hours or days of good communication before another week or so of nothing. It does also vary between alters though, the gatekeepers are usually good at communication and we do have the messenger who speaks to everyone on its layer easily, so there's that. Subsystems usually have better communication with eachother, so they find out about themselves before the rest of the system does, so there's also that little point.

start to finish, how long did it take you to write the last fic you posted?
ahhh I think a little over a week? maybe two weeks? for one-shots it usually takes me 1-3 weeks to finish them, depending on how much free time I have and how obsessive I get about editing.

hey! i love your fanfiction and i can't get it out of my head! i was wondering what house anna was in hogwarts? knowing that she is very good friends with millicent bulstrode who was in slytherin, does that make anna a little snake? i feel like she could fit but she sometimes has ravenclaw vibes (even if she judges L's attitude quite harshly, i always had the impression that ravenclaw and hufflepuff were for people who accepte difference easly)
Anon is talking about The Ides of April
Hello and thank you so much for the kind ask! I'm delighted you're enjoying the story so far, your message made my day 💜 I'll add my recurrent disclaimer that if I'm taking a while to reply to asks it's due to work and my tendonitis flaring up, unfortunately!
That's a fun question. I've actually been inserting extremely subtle hints since chapter 01, so let's see if these make sense:
Rubbing her right temple, she made a mental note to tidy up soon and look for her beloved Encyclopaedia of Toadstools, now temporarily lost amidst the clutter.
chapter 01
She plucked a bit of stray lint from her overcoat that clung near to the folds near her elbow, and then trailed over the soft petals on yellow chrysanthemums and blue iris flowers, the tip of her nail grazing over the threads.
She skittered to the other side of a massive traffic jam, the tip of her yellow walking stick umbrella clicking against the asphalt surface of the road with sharp, uneven beats.
chapter 02
Taking in the tranquillity of the garden paths, Anna observed the blooms on the ground with interest, keen on finding mushrooms native to the area.
chapter 03
(Among others)
So, we have:
a beloved Encyclopaedia about Toadstools
clothes embroidered (by Anna herself) with flowers
a yellow umbrella
an interest in plants, mushrooms and potion ingredients
bonus: lavender and dried herbs in satchels all over Anna's apartment (chp 01) + flower patterned sheets (chp 04)
Adding all of the above to Anna's personality (unafraid of toil [i.e., putting herself through a Muggle university in another country to study lots of things she just doesn't understand and has never heard about], loyalty, follows the rules as much as possible) and her tight friendship with Millicent combined with a rather persnickety side, at times, observant and a bit shrewd, definitely clever and resourceful ---- and, to put it in simple terms, we have a Hufflepuff with Slytherin traits.
Going back to your very interesting analysis:
i feel like she could fit but she sometimes has ravenclaw vibes (even if she judges L's attitude quite harshly, i always had the impression that ravenclaw and hufflepuff were for people who accepte difference easly)
So, as far as Hufflepuffs are concerned, we see quite the negative side to them in the Harry Potter books --- though they've always managed to take a step back and apologise. The Ravenclaws, unfortunately, were quite mean to poor Luna Lovegood so I'd say that Hufflepuff is the more accepting of the bunch.
With its caveats, of course.
In Chamber of Secrets, when the rumours that Harry is the Heir of Slytherin are running rampant, Hufflepuff House also joins in after the Parseltongue scene at the Duel Club (and after Justin Finch-Fletchley is attacked). Ernie Macmillion does apologise for believing the rumours after Hermione gets Petrified, but there's a certain quality to Hufflepuff that remains consistent throughout the books.
Community loyalty does make them jump to conclusions (i.e., believing that Justin will be Harry's 'next victim' for being a Muggleborn), they are pretty nasty during Goblet of Fire and that animosity only lessens after Cedric asks his House to go easy on Harry. Hufflepuff's behaviour during the Tournament was a bit of an anomaly, but in the end they insist on fairness and do think about their biases.
Loyalty has two sides: it can be a positive trait and it can come at the expense of others. Anna suffers from this issue quite a lot during the story, as she both wants to fit in and keep up the rules that uphold the Statute of Secrey. She's community driven --- but she's slowly questioning certain truths and her own ethics during this Kira mess: why is the JP Ministry being overzealous? Is she being negligent if she doesn't do at least some research on 'shinigami'? Is Kira a wizard or a Muggle? Should she go by Millicent's advice and stay out of it, leave the Muggles to their own devices?
In the end, she can't stay away. Loyalty and fairness win above self preservation.
And that's also why she's extremely vexed by Ryuga/L, because he stick out like a sore thumb, drawing attention to himself and anyone who engages with him by virtue of being...well, himself. Anna is trying very hard not to stand out. She also didn't like how he was seemingly interrogating her, though she feels her own thoughts and words against him are unfair when she first learns he's disappeared. No matter how uncouth and uncomfortable, perhaps Ryuga/L doesn't deserve being badmouthed.
“Hard pass,” she said instead, slightly flushed, doubling down on her grievances as her joints and back muscles unwinded with painful relief. The memory of those dark, owlish eyes still unnerved her. “Though you might consider stringing him along if we ever need to go sailing; the hot air might prove useful.” (...) “Guy’s missing from campus, didn’t you hear? Though I guess he’s eventually gonna come back; it would’ve been all over the news if one of this year’s top representatives at To-Ho had been nailed by Kira.” Anna paused. Her heart clenched a bit as she swallowed the unfairness of her previous words. “But if he’s missing, shouldn’t the…police do something? That doesn’t sound normal.” “Depends. They won’t search for just about anything. Unless you need probation, the police don’t often take action here when it’s a missing adult male,” shrugging with one shoulder, Sarah adjusted the straps on her backpack. She popped another balloon. “Besides, Ryuga’s not necessarily a goner; he might just not be here of his own volition.” “Sounds like a gamble, given present times,” Anna's grip on the umbrella handle tightened as Sarah nodded grimly.
(...)
For the second time in a couple of weeks, she felt a pang of remorse over her words. It wasn’t entirely fair. Ryuga had been oddly attentive in his own, backwards way. She'd give him that one, at least. However — and Anna pursed her lips at the memory — there had been something off, beyond the squatting and very much unhelpful commentary dripping out as she'd picked up her broken laptop and books. A covert examination of her actions, the intensity of it oozing like sticky molasses down the pot, as his eyes snapped back and forth between her and the suitcase. What stuck out to her the most was the visible disappointment in Ryuga’s owlish eyes when she tried to give him back money. She rested her hand against the side of her face, lost in a maelstrom of musings. What a strange Muggle.
chapter 04
To further explain, Anna is extremely annoyed at Ryuga's audacity but she also internally acknowledges her knee jerk reaction as being unfair. She's conscientious, a trait that L will find both a blessing a curse --- especially when it works against him.
I hope this answered your question! Feel free to debate this rant or send more questions about The Ides of April (and the companion fics). In Shi, Ku, (4, 9) we'll see a more aggressively loyal side to Anna trying to protect Naomi in chapter 02 --- going as far as literally tracking down L at whichever hotel he's at, lol. He gets the fall-off-chair shinigami reaction all over again.

3D for the ask game 🤨🫶
AHHH YAY! (This is a question from this ask game)
3D: Which of your fics is criminally underrated? What is your favorite line from it?
I would definitely say "It's My Wife's Day!" is criminally underrated! I love it so much and it was super fun to write. The idea of Miguel being a Groomzilla is so funny mostly because I actually see that happening. My favorite line is "Going further down, on your left leg, there was a garter digging into your skin that read 'Miguel’s Wife' in bold, red cursive letters." Mostly because it's hot.
And not nearly as underrated, but still near and dear to my heart is Gym Rat Miguel SFW + NSFW Alphabet. It was also super fun to write and I feel like I was able to open up his character even more. My favorite line is "He’s never missing leg day." Because he is indeed, NEVER, missing leg day. And also maybe "Miguel is loud as fuck." Because he is very loud. 🙂‍↕️ Like, in your ear, in your skin, yada yada. You get the point.
Also linking 3D because of the question number....

✂ = threatening them , ☁ = being caught in the middle a storm with them (in this case maybe a sandstorm ? You decide lol .) , 回 = patching a wound . — @the-chaos-agent
✂ Don would laugh it off and wouldn't take it seriously if Chaos tried to threaten him. like... what could happen? he knows very well that he could take on the guy. he's just a reach and a grab. nothing to fear here even though Chaos Agent can be really scary to basically anyone else. but Don is not impressed by it. I think it's very hard to threaten him in general. ☁ that is a scenario nobody really wants to be in when crossing through the wastes. I'm certain Don would try to stick together and look for shelter for him and Chaos. since Chaos is a bit smaller, he would eventually make sure to protect him and shield him from the most impact that the sandstorm has to offer. he's big, bulky and has a heavy armor so that's the best protection you can get in a situation like this until shelter is being found. 回 if Chaos tried to patch Don up, then I think at first he wouldn't let him. he's proud and has a too big of an ego to let anyone treat his wounds. but after some time he'd probably begrudgingly accept the help if said wounds aren't stopping to hurt and drive him crazy.

I really can't wait to see how you write Demeter! Is she going to be the villain?
yaay it's a good day for asks! sorry because I'm about to go on ANOTHER HUGE TANGENT LMAO but I hope it answers your question thoroughly enough ! 😅 (and if it doesn't at all lmk LOL) Demeter's gonna be an interesting one. I think you already know the answer to this, but I really can't stand how she's villainized like some Mother Gothel archetype, especially when it comes to how Rachel portrays it, because everything Demeter thinks/does/says is honestly justified, try as Rachel might to make her seem like some insane overbearing 'evil' stepmother. Everything always comes back to "Demeter bad!" whereas reading her depiction of Persephone is like watching The Little Mermaid as an adult.
Tumblr media
(it's very frustrating, to say the least LMAO)
Personally I'm gonna be going for what LO started with, but never followed up on - Demeter wants to see her daughter gain independence, but is fearful of her being taken advantage of and hurt the same way she, her "sisters", and her "mother" was (and yes, I have my own way of tackling the incest and familial labels in a way Rachel could have but didn't, I don't wanna reveal too much but it's very fun and I can't wait to explore it haha). All this is gonna affect how her relationship with her daughter plays out - it won't be exactly like the Hymn of Demeter, focusing solely on Demeter's grief, but it won't be exactly like LO either where it throws aside the purpose and messaging of the original myth entirely. All the gods are nuanced and morally problematic in their own way, and that includes Persephone and Hades.
Honestly, I think the reason why so many myth 'retellings' like LO end up being this Flanderized in their characterizations ("Demeter bad, Persephone good!" and "Zeus bad husband, Hades perfect husband!") is because there's so little material surrounding Persephone and Hades compared to all the others. While this can make it fun for having more freedom in re-interpretations, it unfortunately has the opposite effect as well where people tend to forgo the entire point of the original story so they can have some feel good cute story where Hades was some "soft" husband who did nothing wrong and Persephone was some "boss babe" icon with no nuance in between.
I see this type of fetishization of the original myth in a lot of these interpretations but especially Rachel's work. I'm not sure if "fandomification" is a word that can be used here, but I definitely get the feeling Rachel idolizes and fetishizes Greek myth the same way a lot of young Westerners often idolize and fetishize Japanese lore and content, or, more personally, Indigenous cultures (as I myself am Indigenous, specifically Mi'kmaq) - by reducing it down to its most "consumable" formats and turning it into something more 'palatable' and 'fandom-y' for modern audiences that almost comes across as pandering and demeaning to anyone looking for anything with more depth than a teaspoon (and especially to those who belong to the respective cultures being portrayed through this lens).
This isn't to say that creators have to stick to their lane when writing about other cultures or myths, but you can tell when someone hasn't done their research and is working from a very romanticized template they've built up in their heads. Rachel's, in this case, feels like it's definitely come from her time on Tumblr back in the day, when Hades x Persephone writing prompts were all the rage and people were coming up with all sorts of feel good AU content. The thing with AU prompts like that though is they're just that - prompts, memes, mere thought experiments or hypotheticals, not something that can necessarily work as an actual serious long form story unless you know what you're doing. I think creators who want to go so far as to 're-interpret' these stories through their own lens have a huge responsibility to still recognize and treat the original source material with some semblance of respect. In this regard, LO in its current state really should have stayed as a slice-of-life type series if it wanted to keep things light.
And I'm saying this entirely as someone who grew up on weeb content in the freaking West and got more into Greek myth because of LO. That's why I don't entirely chastise it, fandom-y type stories like LO can definitely help introduce people to cultures and stories they wouldn't have batted an eye at before (as I've started to detest LO over the last year, it's made for even better learning because I've had to research the original myths just to see how Rachel is misfiring on them entirely LMAO) but there comes the added responsibility of making sure you're not erasing or reducing the original material in favor of the silly cutesy stuff. It's an entry point, not the entire course! And that's a responsibility that falls both on the audience and the content's creator, IMO.
Yay, more text dumps! Sorry if a lot of that seems weirdly gatekeepy, it's def not what I'm trying to get across, just trying to voice my own frustrations with the depiction of LO's characters as best I can, I feel like a lot of it comes down to Rachel just not having done proper research and relying solely on tropes and self-fulfilling fantasies. If LO stayed as a slice-of-life thing that would have been fine, there's definitely a place for that sort of feel-good goofy storytelling, but by trying to be super ultra serious, it's tripped over its own feet because that's just not what Rachel is capable of depicting at this moment. She's trying to write a super serious story, but doesn't come across as if she actually takes it seriously by extension and it shows.
TL ; DR: Basically, we're gonna actually hone in on Demeter's trauma from the Titanomachy and how it affects her parenting style and 'controlling' tendencies, not only of Persephone, but of the community of nymphs she's fostered over the years. It's not about whether Demeter is the hero or the villain, because that would be missing the point entirely - it's about her role and experiences as a mother and leader of her community, a woman in a struggling position of power among a patriarchal system, and a mother who lost her child to that same patriarchal system, whether by choice or through forced marriage. No matter how one wishes to tell it, whether it's in tragedy or celebration, you can't have the story of Persephone and Hades without Demeter. That is the core of what I want to focus on and bring back to the retellings of Hades and Persephone.

Hi there!
I was just interested in how you envision Bowser as a father in your au. He’s a lot more of a threat to Mario but how would he be with his kids? Is he cold or loving? Also if it’s not too much trouble - what’s your Bowser Jr like?
(Thank you for taking the time to read this, I hope you have a lovely day☺️)
Despite being a selfish and malevolent individual for the most part, Bowser would in fact (and quite surprisingly) be a wonderful dad to Junior! The youngling would be the special exception to the rule, the one thing Bowser loves more than himself. I remember I addressed said contrast in this post a while back, and it's something I definitely intend to show in my art at some point because it will be a big part of Bowser's development. 🌄
Although, I haven't quite decided whether I'll add the Koopalings or not. ^^; I feel like I would need a good reason to include them, and so far they aren't really a part of the broader narrative I've been working on.
But Junior will show up soon! :D And he shares an interesting relationship with Mario in my version. One that's a lot less hostile than you'd expect from the games. It's all I'm gonna say for now. ;)

What would your inquisitor and warden think of what happened in Kirkwall? Would they have supported Hawke’s decisions?
Would your warden or Hawke have actually accepted the role of inquisitor if Cassandra had located them as she’d planned to? Would they have been a good leader for the Inquisition?
If Origins and Inquisition had the 3 personalities (Diplomatic, Sarcastic, Aggressive) which would your warden and inquisitor have predominately been? And what one did your Hawke have?
Sorry this took so long! Work was hectic yesterday!
And thank you!!!!! For sending me these questions! It makes my week everytime that someone is wanting to hear about them!!
Also I apologize I got a tiny bit rambly again:
What would your inquisitor and warden think of what happened in Kirkwall? Would they have supported Hawke's decisions?
Yaviel Amell: 100% supported Winter Hawkes decisions (spare anders, side with the mages). She’s a mage and she watched what the circle did to Anders and again to Jowan. Her initial thoughts on the circle are conflicting at best (my HC is that prior to being in the Circle her mother had taken her from Kirkwall and ran from the templars to Fereldan. They lived in the slums and barely scrapped by. No feeling of security or safety) because of where she was when the Templars inevitably took her from her mother. But by the time the Blight is over she’s been anti-Circle and Templar. In fact it is well known that Carver Hawke and Anders were taken in before the Grey Wardens of Fereldan “disappeared”.
Keira Lavellan: Keira is first and foremost Dalish and then second a mage but she never had the experience that circle mages do. As a Dalish she believes everyone should be free. So I do believe she would have sided with the mages but I think she would have banished Anders. For her own safety and the safety of those she cares about. She would know he was right but she couldn’t condone what he did. But she cares for him as well even then. So she tells him to leave and they both know where he goes anyway. She’s very much a “save whoever you can” kind of person. (sometimes to her detriment)
Would your warden or Hawke have actually accepted the role of inquisitor if Cassandra had located them as she'd planned to?
Yaviel Amell: Yes. And that’s why no one would tell her. Vie is very fatalistic and has a huge Death Wish. Danger is never an issue. She would have also accepted it to keep the weight of gathering such an army off of someone else’s shoulders. Several people go to great lengths to keep her away from it. Until the giant hole in the sky. (Sidenote I have never thought of a Vie as Inky AU but I am now)
Winter Hawke: Nope. No. I’m like 99.99% sure Varric wrote her telling her what Cassandra wanted. And it’s an instant Nope. She would have stayed in hiding if it had been anyone/anything else other than Corypheus.
Would they have been a good leader for the Inquisition?
Vie: HMMM. That’s a harder question. I do see her as a strong leader, she’s been leading her Wardens for years. Even when she disappears on some secret mission for a few years. So I’d go with yes. But maybe I’m biased. The decision on who to leave in the Fade would be hard however. (wish we’d been able to kill the spider honestly). But they would beat Corphyeus rather soundly.
Winter: No. Would she have tried? Also no. She would have dipped out quick and the crew would have willingly helped her hide. But besides the controversy that would just from her being the Inquisitor (It would have bitten you in the ass Cassandra) she really wouldn’t be able to handle it. What happened in Kirkwall was something that just seemed to snowball down a hill and she could do nothing but watch as it grew to a monstrous size. She disappears for this reason. She never wanted any of this fame (or infamy) so as soon as she can she’s gone. Winter leading a chantry led organisation is also hilarious in the aspect that she hates them.
If Origins and Inquisition had the 3 personalities (Diplomatic, Sarcastic, Aggressive) which would your warden and inquisitor have predominately been? And what one did your Hawke have?
So Winter is definitely my sarcastic child. Purple Hawke 100%. And behind it all is a very distressed woman.
Vie is a little harder to decide because I have this problem with never being mean in video games and sometimes the origins choices can be a little basic so it’s hard to kind of get a tone. I’m gonna say a mix of diplomatic and aggressive?
Keira: definitely diplomatic with some sarcastic/charm thrown in. She’s Dalish but she also knows what’s at stake. The main reason she agreed to be Inquisitor is because of Solas telling her the orb is of Elvhen make. Maybe he did it on purpose but it was an instant, “This burden is on your shoulders now. And the safety of our kind also depends on it.” Worked like a charm.

ABSHSHW DEMIROMANTIC ZUKKAAA WHAT A MAJOR WIN (potential demiromantic here!!)
Both of them asking each other what they think a crush feels like and neither having a proper answer they don't really know. Sokka dating suki and zuko dating mai bc the girls liked them but they couldn't tell if they liked the girls bc they weren't sure yet.
Falling in love with each other over time, getting to know themselves and each other and eventually they're so close and intertwined that they realise that dating is what they're already doing but they didn't know.
