From the tags about Stan not being willing to roller skate again and risk breaking his bod and Ford already being mid-backflip, I think that is 💯💯💯 character analysis. I think the way they both approach risk is really interesting.

Stan is actually way more careful in some ways, he respects his physical limits more and has a sense of self-preservation about some things. He'll take a huge risk on a scam or a scheme (different leaves from the same branch). He's all in for mischief that aims for the wallet by way of the mind. He wants to fool you.

Ford, on the other hand, is way more physical, probably because he's had to be, on the other side of the portal. It comes easily enough to him that he doesn't have to think about it. And he'll throw himself out there to shield someone else. He's still a thinker, though. And he can overthink himself into a corner - one that Stan can jump them both out of with a clever twist that may seem simple, because he's got a mind like a lockpick.

In their time apart, Stan worked more with his mind and Ford worked more with his body, kinda flipping the script on how they grew up. Stan is still pretty athletic when it's called for, like all the times he's punched something to save the kids. But the elder Pines twins both rounded out their abilities in ways that gave more balance to what they were each missing due to the other's absence.

In my heart, Ford once went to an ice dimension and got Really Good at ice skating, and now he's absolutely insufferable about it.

Honestly I am still experiencing emotions over Artifice stepping in front of Everett unwaveringly and Dot doing the same thing for Cleo moments later. The Fold wizard crewmates might be inscrutably cryptic and speak at utterly bizarre volumes but they will put themselves between the people they care for and a tearror without a second thought, regardless of the danger, and I love them.
