Hello, yes, I believe this is the European Garden Spider aka Cross Orbweaver (Araneus diadematus), family Araneidae.

another ant mimic jumping spider from Singapore. this one might have been the most antlike out of any spider I’ve ever seen, with a little crease on its opisthosoma to look like an ant’s segmented abdomen and posterior lateral eyes set to look like an ant’s angular head!

What looks like danger critter but very much is not? I always find the critters that look scary or creepy but are completely harmless (or mostly harmless) fun.

Spiders... you know, most spiders really aren't that dangerous, but they look like they would be (to most people).

HAH I FINISHED IT. Will have to get Real Pictures outside when the sun returns. I learned I need to use more strongly textured glass at that scale but overall this has been my smoothest sailing stained glass yet. Straight edges help a lot.
