Sorry, submitting hate lol (you did ask 😂)
Does your reading of the "no higher pleasure" scene not make Bella either really stupid (for misunderstanding what Voldemort was "hinting at") or rather trashy (assuming she didn't misinterpret, then it means she's okay being complimented on her "skills" in front of her teenage nephew, sister, husband, both brothers in law and a huge group of not too pleasant men?). Although she's not a personal favourite, I consider her to be a bit more classy than that (at least in the book portrayal lol).
I don't think it's a huge compliment to her character to read it that way (which is ironic when those who do actually have positive views of Bellatrix). Also, considering he insults her right after the "compliment", are we not to just read this scene that he's purely being manipulative and the "compliment" was never genuine? And why assume it's about sex at all when the concept of "pleasure" is pretty inclusive and he doesn't do or say anything particularly lewd when he is "complimenting" Bellatrix.
You can submit as much hate as you want, but I get to call you illiterate.
Yes, Bellatrix embarrasses herself in this scene. Bellatrix's initial comment to Voldemort was a combination of her appealing to his genuine but probably repressed desire to belong to a family or have a home, and her essentially intervening to take the attention off the Malfoys. Voldemort then turns this into a sexual innuendo (but one that's ambiguous enough that Bellatrix can then respond as if it was a genuine response to what she said, which is what she does, and it's what she has to do—though her blushing and tearing up could indicate any combination of various emotions). And yes he then acts like this wasn't even what he was saying at all and spends the rest of their exchange embarrassing her, convincing her to kill her family member, and then making it up to her to ensure she still sees him well and is fully convinced to do as he wishes.
'Really stupid'? No, she doesn't misunderstand, she just has no choice but to respond as if Voldemort's remark was not also an innuendo—what else is she supposed to do? and plus enough of the genuine compliment remains that she can just accept that. 'Really trashy'? What is she supposed to say, how dare you say that my Lord? And besides this, surely Voldemort was trying to embarrass her to some degree, knowing she can't stand up for herself without yes coming off very poorly. Her response, actually, is likely the classiest way she could have responded to that—ignoring it and giving a polite response.
Compare her response to those of other characters when Voldemort makes his little jokes to them. When he asks Draco if he's going to babysit the cubs, Draco ignores him. When he tells Wormtail that Nagini is out of luck for not being able to eat him, Wormtail ignores him.
'Are we not to just read this scene that he's purely being manipulative and the "compliment" was never genuine?' The sexual innuendo aspect was never a compliment, it's more of a joke, and yes it's pretty embarrassing for her. Voldemort likes embarrassing people. And again Bellatrix's response to this is not a response to the sexual innuendo—because how could she respond to that?—it's a response as if he gave a genuine reply to what she said. Purely manipulative? Well Voldemort really thinks he's funny; he genuinely entertains himself any number of times in the series. Making a joke like this is perfectly in character for Voldemort. He thinks things are funny, he makes puns... typically at someone’s expense…
There's a discrepancy in our readings here where you think the interpretation would be Bellatrix being 'complimented on her skills' (LOL) but I definitely read it as Voldemort is referencing Bellatrix's pleasure. The joke is that Voldemort is surprised that his presence in the home could be Bellatrix's highest pleasure because he's already given her a really high pleasure. And so he’s joking that it’s a big compliment, considering he’s already pleasured her really highly.
There are any number of pleasures in the world, but... If not sexual pleasure, then what is Voldemort referencing when he says 'from you'? What other high pleasure does she have? In real life, yes, this could mean anything; the joke could have been an accident. But every word of this scene was hand-picked by a human to communicate something with us, about both of these characters and about the relationship they have. This scene was reread any number of times by human eyes, and it ended up like this. Why?
'Bellatrix leaned toward Voldemort, for mere words could not demonstrate her longing for closeness.' The words she just spoke alone were not enough to express Bellatrix's longing for (physical? not necessarily, but the implications are there) closeness with Voldemort.
Pleasure and closeness and longing could have been ANY words, but the author chose those ones. Compare this to the words used regarding Yaxley, the other person actively seeking Voldemort's approval in this scene. Bellatrix leaned toward Voldemort, for mere words could not demonstrate her longing for closeness; Yaxley leaned forward to look down the long table at Voldemort and Snape. Bellatrix had a longing for closeness; Yaxley seemed determined to receive some portion of approval. Yaxley squares his shoulders; Bellatrix blushes, tears up, stares at Voldemort with her lips parted, she gazes at him breathless.
Could this be one-sided? It could, if Voldemort didn't immediately respond to it implying he's fucked her.
If not a sex joke, then why does Voldemort latch onto the words 'no higher pleasure'? What is 'from you'? Why not 'you like inviting me into your family's house? who's coming over next, your other family member the werewolf?'
Is it ambiguous? Sure, in the way that most sexual innuendos are, and in the way that other sexual innuendos or whatever are written in the series—surely, you know what Aberforth did to the goat—and on Voldemort's end it's supposed to be ambiguous. It's a little joke he thinks is funny. Is it ambiguous in the text, for the reader? In combination with the language choices used around this dialogue, and their physical proximity at other parts of the series, and Voldemort's trust and self-sacrifice and uncharacteristic forgiveness of her, and the complete absence of her husband—and bear with me, I don't like the Cursed Child either, but nonetheless—the fact that they're canonically sleeping together? No.
The last sentence of this ask is self-contradictory. I don't know how to respond to that. He DOES do something particularly lewd and you've just dismissed it in the exact same sentence. I'm confused, though a bit intrigued, and even a bit aroused, at how lewd you desire him to be to meet your standards.

I was wondering...I was always confused about Narcissa’s hair. It’s been a while since I read the books. Did she color it blonde to show her now belonging to House Malfoys. Or was it naturally blonde? Movies confused me a bit I guess.
Yes, this had me confused too! I've agonized and toiled over it, more than I probably should, about how I should draw her hair because people have generally different views, which is totally understandable! 💕
And I've always wanted to discuss it, so now that I've been given a reason to... Well.
If you take a look at some of my Narcissa fanart, you'll notice the different ways I'd color her hair. I was so confused. Is she a light blonde? Dark blonde? A mix of raven hair and blonde hair? If she has blonde hair then why does her family have (mostly) dark hair? And WHY does she have blue eyes?! This woman is absolutely confusing! (Which is kind of, you know, fitting because Narcissa always loves to be a mystery to literally anyone lol)
So I did my homework, asked around, and scoured every bit of information, canon or otherwise, that I could find about her. It led me to this:
Tumblr media
In canon, this is what the Black sisters look like. You can find the page here. Narcissa is a child here, and already has blonde hair. So we can go ahead and safely assume that she was born with natural blonde hair. But in the films, Narcissa has black and blonde hair. I don't actually know why they gave her that hair color, maybe so that the audiences wouldn't question her blood relations with the Blacks--I don't know. I really don't. But now we have a book version Narcissa, one who has full blonde hair. And a movie version Narcissa, one who has raven and blonde hair. At least, that's how the different hair colors started: a movie version, and a book version.
So... here's where it gets confusing.
To my knowledge, it isn't actually explained why her hair color is the way it is in both the movies and the books. Having blonde hair does raise many questions, how is she the "only" blonde in a family of dark hair and dark eyes? To top it all off, it gets even more confusing, because fanon writes and draws her either as a full blonde or a mix of raven and blonde hair. We just have this large pile to sift through of her having either hair color. No one actually explains anything. She's just... infuriatingly there. She's either blonde or raven haired and blonde. BUT fanfiction writers, as I've observed, give their own reasons why Narcissa's hair color is the way it is in their respective stories. And it's actually pretty creative and interesting! It adds even greater depth to her character, and it fits the narrative of the story even better. Remember, the character we're dealing with is Narcissa Black. One of her main traits is "she won't do anything unless there is a clear purpose behind it." This character is deliberate, meticulous, and she makes sure to plan ahead at all times. And so, some fanfiction writers decide to play on that.
You can skip this part if you want to avoid spoilers but I've compiled a small list of instances in (Cissamione) fanfiction where Narcissa's hair is mentioned.
🔹 In Extinction by rubikanon in Chapter 10: Build and Break, Hermione asks Narcissa about it. Here, Narcissa has black and blonde hair. She explains that she only decided to dye it blonde to "fit in with the Malfoys." We can gather two things from that alone, which resonates with her character perfectly: 1.) Narcissa is loyal and 2.) Narcissa purposefully wants to show the rest of the world how loyal she is by committing to having blonde hair. The woman has some serious commitment, and it shows. But now, the way that it's slowly growing back into her natural black hair color, hints that perhaps Narcissa no longer wishes to fit in with the Malfoys. However, if we take an even closer look, we can safely assume that Narcissa isn't the kind of person to just leave her hair color "unattended" like that. Remember, she's meticulous. And this is a big deal for her, the fact that she's just kind of letting it grow back instead of either fully dyeing it back to black, or dyeing it back to blonde. It suggests that perhaps she's a little unsure this time, perhaps it is her uncertainty that is the reason why it's now a mix of both. Another grey area? Or maybe it's actually something more deliberate? Maybe now, she likes that it's a mix of both. That other half now being solely for Draco, and not to fit in (completely) with the Malfoys any longer. Who knows why Narcissa does things the way she does? We can speculate to the ends of the earth, or be as smart as Hermione Granger (or with the case of Extinction, see Hermione's thoughts), but something tells me we'd still be a good step behind.
"Which one is your natural hair color?" I wondered aloud.
(Narcissa) She glanced up at the unexpected question. I was relieved she hadn't sensed my attention yet. It's not like I meant anything by it, I told myself. She was so beautiful, one couldn't help but notice. And feel physically drawn to her. And want to see her two-toned hair fanned across her back, slipping over the bare skin, silky beneath my fingers...
"Why do you ask?" Her query brought me back to reality, and I hurriedly corrected my imagination to include a pretty dress covering the rest of her.
"I don't know." I chewed the inside of my cheek, suppressing my other thoughts. "I'm just curious."
Her gaze returned to the fire. "You've seen enough of my relatives to guess which color is genetic. The blond is something I added to fit in with the Malfoys, after Draco was born." She was quiet for a moment. "He looks so much like his father. I suppose I wanted to share some resemblance."
🔹 In Killing Me Softly by Looktotheedges in Chapter 4: Nagging, Hermione suggests that perhaps Narcissa is part Veela because of her blonde hair and very attractive features, like Fleur. Which is this whole other theory/plot that's very interesting, but won't be discussed in this post. Narcissa tells Hermione that Sirius has always been blonde, and that it isn't out of the question for her to be blonde either. Sirius Black. A blonde. I know! Maybe it's there because it's funny that Sirius is actually blonde like Narcissa. Prissy, haughty, lady-like Narcissa. Arguably the 'girliest' cousin that he has. No, no, no. He doesn't want to be anything like Narcissa. Anyway, if that's the reason, I think that's hilarious and cute.
Narcissa turns away. 'I am aware my appearance is frightfully drab. Work has been…'
Hermione holds back a disbelieving scoff. 'Narcissa. You always look beautiful. And you’re talking to the witch with grass in her hair who practically lives in her office all week.'
Narcissa just leans further over the crib. 'A blonde little boy. It has been so long since… I can almost imagine…'
Hermione stands next to her. Looks down at the peacefully sleeping Louis. He does look remarkably like Draco. 'Are you sure there’s no Veela blood in you? You weren’t secretly switched at birth?'
'Like a changeling?'
'It would explain your blonde hair.'
'Sirius was also blonde, it is not completely out of the question for us Blacks.'
What?!
(...) 'I know. But it is the truth. He was blond until he was about seven… then it began to darken. Mousy. Dull. He wanted to look cool and brooding instead, so he got his hands on some kind of charm right before he set off for Hogwarts. A new, edgy Sirius. It was around then he forbade us from calling him Siri. Said it sounded too girly.'
🔹 In Fixed in Time by TheWorldsaBeastofBurden in Chapter 9: Sisters and Saviors, it's also tackled a little humorously. Andromeda let's a little comment slip while they're in the middle of trying to heal Hermione. Something funny, something that suggests Andromeda and Bella, when they were children, have always wondered why Narcissa is blonde unlike them.
The first words spoken occurred after they’d risen and attempted their casting. Andromeda’s preparedness to take on their task had been clear in her mind so Narcissa rose with her sister, wrapped an arm around her waist and held her near as the woman raised her wand to draw up the rest of the injury she’d dropped, half a slash across Hermione’s hip bone…
That remained half, as Andromeda growled out, “...it isn’t working.” she looked to Narcissa, “Why aren’t you powering me?”
What nonsense? “I am!” she insisted. She was! Or “I- I am trying to!” Her magic was active and alive, pulsing to rise from her skin and transfer into Andromeda’s but it- it wasn’t working! “Could...could it be that you were disowned?”
“Disowning doesn’t take away the fact that we share blood, our magic is directly related. Ugh, Bella always said you were adopted!”
“Oh ha- oh.”
“...oh?” Andromeda returned.
“...it’s not an issue of power. It is what I intend to aid in casting,” Narcissa slowly worked out. Oh, it was most blessed Mister Goyle could be brought to assist the present Hermione. If her present self had been brought to aid Andromeda? “...I cannot harm Hermione.”
Andromeda sighed with some frustration. “I understand you are so tenderly in love-”
“It isn’t- I’m avowed! I- when we arrived from the future we had to escape Malfoy Manor, I couldn’t bring Hermione through the wards without...I couldn’t add her directly, that would be visible. I had to...attach her permission to mine.”
🔹 In Glass Silence by Zarrene Moss (Menzosarres), which probably gives one of the most interesting backstories for Narcissa's hair, for why it's blonde. I can't put a clip of the scene here without hogging up a huge chunk of space on your dash, so I'll try to explain it as best I can instead.
Understand that these come with serious 🛑spoilers🛑 so please do read it at your own risk.
In Glass Silence, Narcissa's hair and eye color was black at birth. But after an accident with raw magic, something Bellatrix wasn't able to control when they were children, Narcissa almost dies. Bellatrix, using even more raw magic, tries desperately to pull Narcissa's "life force" back, but at the cost of losing the eumelanin that made Narcissa's eyes and hair black. Narcissa survived, but now has very little eumelanin left, which is why she's so pale, blonde, and has blue eyes. Every time Narcissa looks at a mirror, her reflection is a reminder of the day she almost died. Bella, on the other hand, is reminded of that day every single time she looks at Narcissa.
So! These are only a few fanfictions I could think of at the top of my head that tackles the issue of Narcissa's hair. In the books, to my knowledge, she is described as having blonde hair and very pale skin.
But let's take another deep dive, if you're up for it.
These are mostly theories, which are largely unconfirmed, but I think they're interesting to think about.
There's this description in the wiki:
"Narcissa Malfoy is described as tall, slim, "nice looking", and very pale, with blue eyes, long blonde hair, and a clear, cold voice. Her hair colouring thus differs from most of the House of Black, who generally have dark hair, though Narcissa does possess the arrogant good looks characteristic of her family."
There's also this pinterest photo of the Black sisters being compared to each other side by side, descriptively and physically. I'm so sorry, I don't know who drew it, but here's a link to the post on pinterest.
Tumblr media
"Narcissa threw back her hood. She was so pale she seemed to shine in the darkness... long blonde hair streaming down her back."
Which is interesting because this hints that she's... different. It's a bit literal in this sense--she comes from a pureblood family, arguably the most influential and notorious one, the Blacks, who mostly have dark hair and eyes, and yet her physical appearance directly contrast that. There's also the matter of her namesake. She's the only Black to be named after a flower instead of a galaxy or a star. We aren't really given any explanation why she's the only one who's different. Even Sirius, who fought and died for the side of the Light, is named after the brightest star in the sky. Even Andromeda. It's been said that this is actually meant to be a parallel of some sort to Lily Evans. Narcissa and Lily are both named after flowers, even Petunia (Lily's sister). And I know there's this thing where it's a tie up to how Harry was ultimately saved by a mother's love: Harry lived at the beginning because of his mother's love, and Harry lives once again at the end of the books because Narcissa, a mother who wanted to save her own son, saved him.
If you read that scene in the books where Harry is saved by Narcissa, the whole scene is actually... pretty soft? There's that sort of disarming softness about Narcissa in that moment, where Harry expected to be callously dragged and prodded for a heartbeat. Instead, he gets a surprisingly gentle touch, a curtain of long blonde hair shielding him from the darkness, and the kind of tenderness he wouldn't expect from his enemies, "Is Draco alive?"
It's almost like Narcissa's appearance is something of a "tell". With Andromeda, she's described to have kind eyes, open, unguarded. She inherited her family's dark eyes and dark hair, and she even looks like Bellatrix's twin. I suppose we could say, Andromeda wants to fight that in any way she can by being openly kind. Narcissa is quite literally the opposite--guarded eyes, stoic expressions, cool and calculated emotions. We're veering into this fine line between fanon and canon in terms of their characterization (but only due to lack of canon materials) but personally, I think Narcissa having blonde hair and blue eyes is somewhat more fitting for her character. Again, this line:
"Narcissa threw back her hood. She was so pale she seemed to shine in the darkness... long blonde hair streaming down her back."
It's like that one glaringly obvious hint that everyone overlooks simply because... because it's the most obvious one. "Me! I'm different! I'm the last person you'd expect, but it really is me!"
Tumblr media
Anyway. I've rambled on long enough. Hope this clears up some of that confusion, anon. Hoping it didn't ADD even more confusion... 😂 At the end of the day, this is just me speculating, gushing, and being One Big Fool™. So.
But either way, blonde hair, dark hair, mix of both, I adore her. Pretty much.

Snape for the ask game
Yessss! Another one of my favourites.
• favorite thing about them
The moment he kills Dumbledore. It's a stunning act of bravery, respect and faith in Dumbledore that moves me every time. It's also an act of utter damnation - to be seen as a monster by the cause and people you are fighting for. He has no way of knowing Harry would ever clear his name (and given his treatment of Harry, it won't be expected of Harry to do it) - he still did it anyway. Ultimately, he dies giving Harry the information that leads him to walk to his death, thereby choosing saving the Wizarding world over his personal atonement. I bring attention to this because it has to be brought up that his arc brought him from asking for Lily's life to be spared to "Lately those who I cannot save. "
• least favorite thing about them
So usually, I have a lot of distance from fictional characters and their flaws, but the reason I took time to appreciate this character is because his treatment of Harry hits too close to home. I have enough distance from it now to see what he is thinking and feeling, but yeah, as a young teenager who was also targetted by a teacher, this flaw was not fun to read. Although I always appreciated Harry and Ron speaking up to him - and with distance, the scenes have now become funny.
• favorite line
The grandness of his opening monologue in PS? What a drama queen:
"I don't expect you will really understand the beauty of the softly simmering cauldron with its shimmering fumes, the delicate power of liquids that creep through human veins, bewitching the mind, ensnaring the senses... I can teach you how to bottle fame, brew glory, even stopper death -- if you aren't as big a bunch of dunderheads as I usually have to teach."
Also everything in Spinner's End chapter! The way he dances around Bellatrix and uses her high opinion of Voldemort against her is hilarious. I still laugh at this response to Bellatrix's "He'll have me! I who endured Dementors for him!" - > "Yes indeed, most admirable. You werent a lot of use to him in prison but the gesture was undoubtedly fine. " 😂😂😂
• brOTP
Lucius I suppose? He clearly seems to care about Draco and he is unable to watch Narcissa crying. She also seems to know where he lives. And given that she is a pureblood witch, stepping into a place like Spinner's End speaks a lot about their relationship. He also reacts unconsciously when Harry names Lucius as a Death Eater at the end of GOF.
The tension of Snape working against people he likes and saving people he dislikes? Wonderful.
• OTP
It would be between Snape x Narcissa - the Unbreakable Vow textually reads like a marriage, where Snape steps in Lucius's stead as Draco's protector and Snape x Sirius: The narrative parallels between these two and the amount of mirroring? Excellent stuff.
• nOTP
Snape x James. I am aware there are very good writers who make this work, and I write Snirius so I can't be a hypocrite - but the power dynamics in SWM is too visceral for me to try this as a ship. (Also the reason why I prefer Snirius as 30 somethings, where their power dynamic is not as stark as it is when they were teenagers)
Snape x Lucius too, a bit? The skewed dynamics of Lucius being older (he was a prefect when Snape was a first year), better social status, wealth etc and Snape being a poor half blood boy makes me feel a bit wary. I have read stories where this pairing is present and I am not too fond of it.
Snape's life is defined by shuttling between two powerful men - Dumbledore and Voldemort. Don't give him skeevy power dynamics in his romantic life too 😭
• random headcanon
Has a bitter rivalry with Antonin Dolohov, another Death Eater who seems to be really good with Dark curses (the spell he uses on Hermione in OOTP). Snape thinks he is an obnoxious prick.
• unpopular opinion
Lol, where does one begin? I will say that there are multiple bad faith interpretations about him because character discussions are polarised and there is no nuance in the conversation. I will go with something that will not have people start yelling at me:
- There is no evidence that he became Lily's stalker. If he was, people who have the Marauders map would have known, and it would very well be used to retrospectively justify their behaviour. Which they don't do. Watching Lily as 9 year old child desperate for company and someone else like him in that miserable town from behind a bush does not make him a stalker.
- Asking for Lily's life to be spared is a manifestation of his utter indifference to evil and lack of empathy in the beginning of his arc. From only caring about Lily's life to coming to a point where he says "Lately, those who I cannot save" is the arc. From calling her Lily Evans on the hill top to calling her Lily Potter in Dumbledore's office ("i have spied for you, lied for you, put myself in mortal danger for you, all to keep Lily Potter's son safe") is the arc.
- Reminders of Lily make him suicidal ("you remember shape and colour of Lily Evans' eyes, I am sure?" "don't! Gone ..my fault" "is this remorse Severus?" "I wish I were dead"), so no, he would not be having Lily's hair and asking women to change into her, or look like her, or ridiculous headcanons like that. "always" is a manifestation of guilt and grief. Dude caused the only person who cared him about him's death. Of course he can't move on.
- Harry narratively positions Snape's love for Lily as a pure force (represented by a Patronus) against Voldemort's sneering about desire. You are not supposed to be on Voldemort's side about this 😅
• song i associate with them

This one
Baby Snape always breaks my heart with his fragile hopefulness and this one
That second one was so powerful, it inspired my The Lightning Struck Tower meta and the imagery surrounding his death (which i still have to finish writing).

Thoughts/ Background Half Blood Prince
A smash and grab for Ollivander. Not one person in this stunned group tries to shoot a stunner at these people or stop them in any way.
I am taking this way too seriously, but…. Muggleborns are the bridge between the Muggle and magical world, and the death eaters are attacking a bridge. Voldemort seems to want total separation between Muggles and Wizards, but he also wants to subjugate Muggles. Having these peaks of the Muggle world, and the destruction that wizards can cause is a great way to emphasize the delicate balance between the two worlds.
This obviously also takes place after 9/11. It would make sense that these people were more thinking towards terroism than anything supernatural. Anything could easily be blamed on that. Or faulty construction.
Hottie waitress is trying to get it from “Go”, and I don’t blame her. But, she is way too cute for his ass.
You would think that Harry would be more cautious, but then again, what easier way to fool a group of death eaters then to ride the London Underground for hours at a time.
Why would Slughorn make it look as if this house had been attacked? Why not just make it look like it had been burglared? It specifically looks as if it had been attacked. There are scratches and holes on the walls, everything is askew like hexes had been flying.
When I first saw this movie, I thought that it was a huge waste of time to see all of this magic, but now, I look at these big displays of magic and am just in awe. I love when we really get to see what magic is capable of that is more than just cursing someone else. The scene in Crimes of Grindlewald while he escapes at the beginning is one example of a huge display of magic that is both interesting and epic.
Voldemort knows what Slughorn has in his mind. They weren’t trying to recruit him, but to kill him.
Even in this picture of Lily, she looks way older than what she should be.
Dumbledore is a master manipulator. Throughout most of the series, Dumbledore refers to Harry as “Harry”, but in Slughorn’s presence he constantly refers to him as Mr. Potter to emphasize to Slughorn the prize that is before him.
Yes, Harry, you will not be messing up the fan’s OTPs today.
The Weasleys must have felt very comfortable with all of the moving staircases in Hogwarts based off of the look of the Burrow.
This is one movie where Harry and Ginny exhibit some chemistry toward one another.
Ron just casually going to touch Hermione’s face. They say that people will only let others who they are truly comfortable around to touch their face. The same goes for the attempters…. Lol
I love that Harry is barefoot in this scene. It shows that he is comfortable, and that he feels at home.
There is an old fashioned lamp on the desk which is lovely.
Mrs. Weasley was around for the first war. She didn’t participate in the Order the last time, but now, she knows, she has inside knowledge, that things are moving in the darkness. And she is rightfully terrified.
Snape’s village here is cookie cutter in the same way that Pivet Drive is. Though, Pivet Drive is clean and bright while Snape’s town is dingy and smoke ridden like there are factories or something similar nearby that is polluting the air.
Snape’s house would look like this. Floor to ceiling books. No personal photos. Dark. Two candlesticks that don’t count as bobbles because they are functional.
At this stage, Snape has fully returned to Voldemort. He also knows that Sirius isn’t the one who betrayed Lily, but that it was Wormtail. But, he can’t outright kill Wormtail because Wormtail went and performed a valuable service to the Dark Lord. So, Snape does the next best Slytherin thing and decides to torture Wormtail by making him serve him. Now, Snape has Wormtail as his personal servant and play thing until things finally break. It is no more than Peter deserves tbh.
Narcissa is the epitome of pureblood etiquette and style. She is politely making small talk with her host while Bellatrix is in the background snooping in Snape’s stuff.
Bellatrix was one of those rich girls who stole petty little objects whenever they can get their hands on something. Voldemort and her must have bonded over this.
Bellatrix lets out a snore when Snape talks about Dumbledore. She must have heard this reasoning for Snape’s supposed loyalty one too many times. She suspects heavily that Snape isn’t quite what he seems. She also resents him most likely for the closeness that he has with her master.
Snape allowed himself to be goaded into this. He invited it when he mentioned that he could help them in the first place.
The statue outside of the shop in Diagon Alley. So clever.
The twins are top level business men here. No more orange bell bottoms for these two.
Every thing is just orange and yellow and bright.
They already have on assistant. Good on you, boys.
“I will have order.” Someone really should make sure that Umbridge was sent one of these before her arse was packed off to Azkaban.
The twins are litearlly living their best lives here. Business is booming. Surrounded by people. Spreading mischief even after their school days are over.
Harry gets things for free because he financed this shop.
Harry is like, “Wait, what about DEaN??” Where was all this great acting and connection when it came time to film Seven and Eight?
Cormac ain’t a bad catch. He is very traditionally handsome.
Brown, I see your arse. You best sit down. This is not going to end well for you.
Fred and George’s shop probably has been warded to the nines from their good and yet to be introduced brother Bill.
You see one Fenrir Greyback poster in a dark alley. One: So, the film makers are sure that we know who he is. Two: This is the level with which the ministry has hunted for criminals compared to the nearly every square surface and newspaper add ins that Harry’s face get plastered on in Deathly Hallows.
Draco, even here seems to exhibit a lot of reluctance.
Draco is a smart guy. Like, I don’t think that can be denied. He wouldn’t have been able to do what he does in this movie if it wasn’t for some modicum of intelligence.
I like that movie Harry is really supportive of his friends.
Ginny and Luna BFF’s in the making.
Dean, I see your arse.
The one time ever that Harry James Potter was right about something.
Ron and Hermione should have known that Harry was up to something.
I have a feeling that more fuss from the others wasn’t made about the darkness powder probably because since they boarded the train that was about the fifth time they had seen some sort of Weasley product go off. And though, this is a compartment full of Slytherins, the odds are that at least some of them have their products in their bags as well.
Draco, however, is finally aware that stuff is really kicking off, and he is rightfully suspicious.
I don’t know if this was an intentional choice, but Draco’s appearance in this movie speaks volumes about his mental state. He looks thinner than he has in the other films, and then also, the lightness of his hair adds to the gauntness of his face.
He is sitting in chair 14.
Harry just had to get comfortable up there. Draco knows now that he can’t trust anyone at Hogwarts. He knows that he can’t trust Snape like he thought he could. He knows that Snape is really working for Voldemort, and he now knows for a fact that nearly everyone around them aren’t as they have pretended to be for so long. Draco is in a highly paranoid state because he truly feels like he has no one that he can turn to or trust.
You can see Hagrid and Fang waiting to take the first years up to the castle.
Draco looks very satisfied with himself after finally getting Harry.
I mean, that is a viscous thing to say to anyone, but Draco is now immersed in this wizard AK wizard world. It’s a wonder that he didn’t turn Harry over right then. Why not just grab Harry, apparate, and take him immediately to Voldemort? Draco had a golden opportunity here, but wasted it because in some part of his brain he still sees this as a school boy rivalry. Or would Voldemort really put killing Dumbledore over killing Harry at this point? Was he that scared of the man?
Luna is the real hero in this scene.
Movie!Harry makes me feel way happier than book!Harry sometimes. Merely because of the way that movie!Harry treats Luna and Neville. Yes, book Harry evolves in that way, but movie Harry seems to really value these friends the way that I think he should.
The way that Draco looks at the walking stick makes me sad. You know it was Lucius’, and though Lucius is a horrible prick, he is still Draco’s father, and he needs this object to feel some sort of connection to his father.
Neville is watching Hermione beat Ron, not even blinking an eye.
You do see here, and from the first that Dumbledore has aurors now watching the school. We don’t get any interaction with them, but they are a visual reminder about what’s going on security wise.
I can only hope to crush student’s dreams like McGonagall crushes Ron’s.
This movie has so many like unexpected funny moments that make it stand apart from the book in a way that the other films don’t.
So, we are saying in this film that Katie Bell is in the same year as Harry, Ron, and Hermione? I don’t know why the filmmakers settled on this. This is a Padma in Gryffindor situation again.
You really only noticed Hermoine’s bedraggled appearance here, but several of them are looking worse for wear.
I always got the feeling that Dumbledore was trying to make up for some lost time here. He largely ignored Harry in the last movie. And Harry has lost those people in his life who would event think to question him about his love life. Dumbledore is trying to make some connection with here. He misses the mark trying to connection with him in this manner especially about Hermione, but it is still very interesting.
Harry is just like, “Um, no.”
I think this interaction makes Harry feel better though. It makes him feel like he isn’t just being trained as a weapon, but that Dumbledore is actually interested in all aspects of his life. I can’t decide if this is underhanded of Dumbledore or not.
Okay, Wool’s Orphanage in the forties looks to be one of those horrible places. It looks like it is in the city, and away from anything green. The walls look like they are made of ceramic tile. Voldemort’s room literally looks out onto a brick wall. It rains all of the time in England. I mean, come on, this was the environment to raise a serial killer in. The room is bleak, only a bed, chair, and desk. Hardly any personal belongings.
I like Dumbledore’s look here. He is in the Muggle world, but that doesn’t mean that he needs to give up any flair.
Dumbledore read Tom Riddle’s mind. Is it legal to read the minds of young children because that’s what Dumbledore did here. How else would he have known that Riddle had those things in his wardrobe?
I don’t think Dumbledore would have done anything about it.
I don’t think that even if Dumbledore would have known what Voldemort would become I don’t think Dumbledore would have been capable of killing a child. I just don’t.
This sounds like Harry is about to be pimped out, which in a manner of speaking he is.
Most Quidditch scenes I could go without, but Ginny and Harry tag teaming tryouts. Ginny speaking up for slightly quieter Harry. Hermione in the stands. The people behind Ron fighting over the best brooms. It is just amazing.
You literally live in the same dorm as Hermione, Cormac, I mean, dang, and you have lived with her for years and years. Why couldn’t you have talked to her yourself?
Just like, what a situation to get yourself in. Hanging from the end of your broom.
Lavender is all fake concern and joy, over exerting her dang self, but Hermione is actually doing something to make sure that her man gets this position.
That couple behind the trios head are having an intense study-flirt session, and I approve.
Neville is dosing in that chair while he sits next to a dosy.
I always thought that the Gryffindor common room looked a lot like a fairytale. The walls are covered in tapestries, everything looks warm and inviting.
Ginny was raised with many, many older brothers. She knows how to get toys out of reluctant hands.
That’s Neville and Seamus going off to Hogsmeade in front of the trio?
Dean is laying it on thick!!! He is a slick git.
Ron is like, “That thought never crossed my…..oh… wait, yes, it has.”
Wallenbee…..
Poor Hermione, her feelings are about to pop out all over the place.
I always thought this scene was super cool, no offense to Katie. This just shows what kind of dark arts are currently being practiced in the Malfoy household
It looks to be a distinctive sort of necklace. If wizards thought for one second like Muggles they would have had people tracing the origins of that necklace. Straight up, old fashioned detective or journalistic work would have solved that question.
I love that Snape’s wand is black and sort of ordinary looking. It looks harsh almost in its plainness, almost like the man himself.
Harry is right.
“She’s got nice skin.”
I would want professor Merrythought’s office too. It looks amazing.
Blaise is silently judging everyone this whole time, and I am living for it.
Ginny has shown up really late for this shindig. She only shows up in time for dessert. Most people would just be like, “Okay, I think I’ll pass.”
Harry, your heart eyes are showing.
Slughorn really wants to justify himself, and I don’t blame him. It’s hard to admit your mistakes. It’s even harder to admit your mistakes when said mistake produced a mass murderer.
Ron, please get your head out of your ass. I feel bad. Hermione, like most women, build up romantic encounters in our head long before they even come due. She has done the same thing here, thinking that Slughorn’s party will be the place that she and Ron grow closer together, maybe even kiss under some mistletoe. She thinks that it will be the perfect place to launch a new beginning. That’s why what happens right after this scene with Lavender makes her so sad, because she then has to say goodbye to all of those dreams and fantasies.
It looks like a lot of the Quidditch team are sitting together in a show of house solidarity.
Ron’s like, “Thanks, Luna.”
Ginny normally sits next to Hermione in these scenes, but being with Dean, enables her to share the seat next to Harry. It probably is good for strategy talks as well. That Ginny Weasley knows whats up.
Neville is astonished at this turn of events during the match. Pleased, but astonished.
Luna is right by them in the stands. Cheering on her friends.
Weasley is our king. Weasley is our king… right until he kisses Lavender Brown, and makes Hermione cry because Hermione is our QUEEN!
Hermione refuses to chant her own future last name.
I mean, Lavender did shoot her shot. But you can see the just devastated look on Hermione’s face and even the “oh shit” one on Ginny’s.
Hermione found comfort here in something that she can do well. Magic. She’s reminding herself what she is the most thankful for here as well.
Hermione knows everything.
Hermione who knows everything just can’t believe that Ron is this dense. She thinks, at least subconsciously, that Ron is doing some of this on purpose.
Are we thinking that Lavender is Ron’s first kiss? I mean, first kisses are heady things, and he wouldn’t want to give it up no matter what until those endorphins start to fade, and then he quickly gets over it.
This is a great filing system in the library. And another subtle but amazing display of magic.
Hermione, girl, its hard when you get our feelings involved. Boys make us all do stupid things.
Romilda Vane is beautiful. She doesn’t need a love potion.
We all love Luna’s dress.
Draco, lounging in the corner.
Drapple pt. 2
If I didn’t get into a teacher’s club then I for sure would not be catering their event.
“Slippery little minx. “
This is more of that unexpected humor.
Cormac is like, “Please God, help me.”
Ginny looking fine in this outfit.
Draco, again, has lost all faith in those around him. And where good old uncle Sev might have seemed like another softer alternative to his father, now, he is no better than the rest of them. I have a post about this on my blog, if you want to read more of my thoughts on their change of dynamic.
This is the most awkward thing I have ever witnessed.
Ron looks constipated. He is just like, “Please, let this be over. Please.” He looks pained.
Harry is so uncomfortable he can barely stand himself.
Hermione doesn’t even have the perspective at this point to know that Ron is now suffering under Lavender’s attentions. She is just so pissed she can’t see straight.
A penguin dancing on a cake!
The twins have been pulling those for a while, look at all the old ones on the table.
Is that Hedwig sitting on the edge of the couch?
Remus feels so guilty over everything that he and the others put Snape through in school that he feels less inclined than anyone to believe that Snape is up to something nefarious.
Mr. Weasley knows when he is not welcome. Ron does not.
Tonk’s hair here upsets me to the extreme. Why did they intend to make this badass look like a soccer mom?
Some people are really irritated by this scene where Ginny ties Harry’s shoe, but I don’t mind it. I thought that it was very intimate. Harry, more than anything craves someone who is going to take care of him. Harry is someone who feels as if the whole world is looking to me. He also feels like he has no one that he can really lean on for support. He feels that support in any way makes him weak. Ginny doing these little things for him is something that he can accept. It makes them closer. She understands what he needs, and gives it to him. Plain and simple.
You can actually see rage here in Remus’ face. Don’t y’all tell me Wolfstar ain’t a thing.
Ginny doesn’t even think before jumping into the flames. Harry and Ginny at this point are battle tested veterans, and they have each others backs no matter what.
Greyback thinks that he is going to get an easy meal with Ginny, but Ginny isn’t a light snack hun.
Harry holding Ginny’s hand and pulling her close.
This was perfectly done by the death eaters. Draw the people outside, and then strike to destroy one of the only strongholds that the Order has.
Yes, I think Draco looks different.
Pineapple, nod to the books.
Harry unknowingly echoed Voldemort when he stayed behind after the first party.
This seems to be a very weird way to go about getting Slughorn to talk. Throughout this film, Harry tries to mimic Voldemort in the things that he said and the things that he did, but the way to get Slughorn to talk, I think, wouldn’t be to remind Slughorn about his failings through Tom, but to be the opposite of Tom Riddle, which eventually he ends up doing.
“The map is never wrong.” Like Godfather like godson.
Harry really is the dim one. He figures out Ron’s little dilemma way too slowly.
Love makes Ron cuddly. I like it.
Slughorn is a quick liar. No wonder he was in Slytherin.
Why is Slughorn just standing there? Why isn’t he reacting? Why isn’t he calling for help? I never understood his reluctance here. It makes me think that something like this must have happened in the past, and he was having some major flashbacks.
Hermione is about to throw bones in front of all these teachers.
“You daft dimbo.” Classic.
All of the teachers are listening just as intently as anyone else in the room. They love gossip too.
Harry just casually stalking Draco.
Draco feels so along during this whole experience, and I hate it for him. He’s just a kid.
“He was quickly becoming obsessed with Draco Malfoy.”
Why on Earth is Lavender, a Gyrffindor, sitting at a different table? And Dean? Free sitting on the weekends?
The look on Draco’s face when he sees Katie. He is glad sure that she is still alive, but he feels scared. He knows that Harry must have some suspicions, and he is terrified of getting found out. He knows that Voldemort will not be kind.
Draco goes from crying to defensive. Emotions are running high for him, and he just can’t handle them all. He is not thinking rationally.
The book here, almost seems to act like more of a horcrux, nefarious source then actual horcruxes do. It turns Harry into someone that he isn’t.
Ginny you coy bitch. Love it.
I just imagine that the way Harry acts in this scene is Daniel Radcliffe’s personality at all times.
Hermione should one day write a paper about the effects of Liquid Luck on people.
The story about the flower and the fish that Slughorn tells about Lily is one of the best add ons that the movie included that wasn’t present in the books.
Using that chosen one status right.
Lily was one of Slughorn’s favorites. She was in that middle picture on the shelf. She was front and center beside him in the photo.
Dumbledore is like, “Not now, I need to think.”
Dumbledore says that the objects to make a horcrux can be anything, but I disagree. I think that the objects have to be somehow linked to the wizard, some personal connection.
“I’ll be okay, I’ll be with Dumbledore.”
This is a startaling setting. One of the best ones in the films. We don’t go far from Hogwarts generally, but when we do it’s hardly to wild, nature ruled places like this.
I wish that we would have seen that memory from the Gaunt house. It would have been interesting to see Tom’s grandparent and uncle, his dad. It would have seemed essential to me to show Merope in this film. To see where Voldemort came from. I wish we would have gotten that.
And while we are listing some things I wanted from this movie, but never got: A classroom scene with Snape finally teaching DADA. We never even saw a hint of this or an illusion of this after the initial telling.
Dumbledore is hugging his knees, he is bunched up, and vulnerable.
This is the only time that inferi are seen throughout the series. You would have thought that Voldemort would have had more use for them in the final battle.
The choir scene here is particularly interesting. We have in our consciousness scenes from the previous two films using lighthearted music etc., and now they are singing this ominous song.
Snape is standing, looking out over Hogwarts like he does in seven pt. 2. This place is Snape’s home, and has been for years, and now, he unwillingly has to say goodbye to it.
It says something that Bellatrix doesn’t wear a mask while the rest of them do. It makes sense that Greyback wouldn’t wear a mask because he is recognizable as a werewolf, and he likes the fear that it inspires, but Bellatrix refuses to wear a mask because she is proud of her status as a death eater. She is unashamed of her place in the world.
If Dumbledore knows everything, why does he never act?
That boy that Dumbledore is talking about isn’t Voldemort, but Snape.
Harry has been hearing this whole movie that he is wrong about Draco and wrong about Snape, and then comes time for him to trust or turn against Snape, and he trusts him.
The look on Snape’s face after he kills Dumbledore is so haunting.
Bellatrix just loves causing chaos and mayhem. There is a certain kind of sick satisfaction that some people have when they destroy things that they used to be associated with. Her destroying Hogwarts is one of those things. For Draco, it Is just adding to that sick feeling in his gut.
All the lights from the wands of all of these people lifting into the sky and eating away the dark mark is one of the best moments of this entire series.
When I read that the locket was fake I was infuriated. I don’t think I’m alone.
Harry and his hero complex. He thinks he has to do everything on his own, but this proves that he doesn’t have to. He goes off together, with his friends, and even the friends that he leaves behind helps to keep everything going while the world waits on Harry Potter to save them all.

Some characters I’ll be cutting from the roster/cast list and my reasons why. As well as some I’m seriously thinking about dropping and why. I’m open to feedback on the one’s I’m up in the air about.
Jessica Rabbit (Who Framed Roger Rabbit)- I love this lady to pieces. She’s such a feminist icon. And I’d love to play her but for one I see so many great roleplayers already doing her in an interesting way and I feel like I can’t bring much new to her. And I already have Betty Boop, a toon who needs my attention I feel. And I should devote my time to her.
Rip Van Winkle (Hellsing Ultimate)- Her hyperness and psychoticness reminds me a bit too much of Demencia and I don’t want them to end up too similar! Though I would’ve loved to develop her further I think I’ll skip on it.
Victoria Evergot (Corpse Bride)- I love her and I think she’s a cute and interesting character that gets overlooked and I like victorian women but I also feel like that’s not much for her to do in an already crowded cast list. So I’ll skip.
R. Dorothy (Big O)- Her remoteness is similar to how I play Sabrina. So even though I love the character and would like to see her developed further I might pass for now. Though I may return again later. Temporary pass.
Drusilla (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)- I’ve played Drusilla in the past and enjoyed it and she’s my favorite Buffy character. But aside from having both Seras and Aleera and Girlycard on here already I think there’s such a thing as vampire overdose.
Lucy Westerna (Bram Stoker’s Dracula)- Again with the vampire overdose. And this one is very similar to Aleera. Also she has a less interesting backstory I feel. So I’ll pass her up in favor of one of Dracula’s established brides.
Tiffany Ray (Chucky series)- I already have a love-crazed psychotic fangirl (Demencia) and I don’t want to wear myself out on the same themes. Even though I love Tiff. I see some roleplayers already doing her justice too.
Kathryn Merteiul (Cruel Intentions)- Mean girl who I think I play really well but who has the same faceclaim as Buffy and also happens to have a similar disposition as Chanel. I want to keep the bitchy meangirl count down to one on the site if I can.
Verona (Van Helsing) - I only need one of Dracula’s brides really. I can NPC this one when I need to.
Marishka (Van Helsing)- See Verona.
Akasha( Queen of the Damned)- I really love vampires, don’t I? Well, I’d love to play Akasha but for some reason I’m not feeling the muse for it.
Persephone- With Calypso, Casandra and other mythic figures in the roster Persephone doesn’t feel necessary though I’ve felt a kinship with her for years. As I feel less and less “trapped” I feel less and less like playing her. So maybe passing her up is a good idea.
Muses I’m considering cutting but am undecided about.
Sarah Tilly Coe (OC)- This is Licorice the Umbreon’s pokemon trainer, a 14-yr-old foulmouthed girl, very spunky with a high IQ who can be too big for her britches. I’m actually pretty stoked about her honestly. I’m not sure why I want to cut her. I’m just considering it I suppose because the roster is so big? I’ll probably keep her.
Blood Countess (AHS: Hotel)- I’m already quite in love with the Gaga potrayal of this character and I’ve not even finished the season. But again. Another vampire? I’m just not sure. I’m up in the air. It will depend on how the season goes and if the muse cements itself in my heart.
Bellatrix Lestrange (Harry Potter)- I’m noticing a pattern here. I like these lovestruck fangirls with a psychotic streak, don’t I? The nuttier and more powerful the better. Luckily, Bella is distinctive from Demencia, at least in that she’s a snotty, racist, childish noblewoman. But-- and I hate to say this-- she is a little overrated too. I could build up more there. But as is, there isn’t much depth. She’s literally had her soul sucked out. I could definitely play that angle up. But I don’t find her sympathetic like I do with Tiffany, Demencia, or even someone like Harley Quinn.
Mewtwo (pokemon)- yes you read right. Back in the day, Mewtwo was my favorite pokemon, before I got an Umbreon in gen 2 that won me over. But anyways, Mewtwo’s story always called to me. Because clones and too much power, am I right? Only reason i’m considering cutting is I don’t know if I could do him justice. I’ll have to watch the Mewtwo Returns movie and the extra media that I missed over the past years to see if my muse calls to me.
Bonus- Why I won’t play certain muses even though I’d be badass at them.
Harley Quinn (DC Universe)-  Again. Demencia. Frankly I prefer Demencia and also choosing and narrowing down what version of Harley I want to do would be...a pain in the ass and then making her distinctive enough from the psychotic hyper ladies would be another mess of a problem.
Rapunzel (Tangled)- I found Rapunzel in Tangled similar to Anna. Not in a bad way, mind you. But everything I get from playing Anna is what I need. Rapunzel might be more of the same.
Black Hat (Villainous)- Simply because I have an OC (which i created before Villainous btw) that’s so similar in personality and occupation to Black Hat that it’d be like playing him in an au. And that’d be just weird!lol
There’s some late night rambling and decision making for us. Hope you enjoyed it! <3

Star Asks
I’m answering these all for my silly wife whom i love this is for you @angeltendou
-Mercury: What’s your full name? Lmao I know I have like 30 million last names but as far as what most people (and I) know it’s AnaSofia Gonzalez.
-Venus: What’s your first language? Spanish lmao there are videos of me singing as a child in Spanish and I’m just like damn ok
-Earth: Where’s your home? Idk I guess it’s just a feeling but I feel at home wherever I’m safe, warm, and happy and I think I’ve found that with certain people which both terrifies me and makes me wanna cry but thanks to those people
-Mars: What’s your sexuality? Lol, I’m gay as fuck
-Jupiter: Do you have any siblings? Technically, I have one, by blood. If I’m speaking from the heart, I have a person who I consider no less, if anything much more than a sibling, so I’m going to say 2.
-Saturn: Any pets? Yes, a silly little cocker spaniel named Dobby (bc I’m a nerd)
-Uranus: What’s your hobby? Writing, which I do love, but haven’t done much of lately, I’m sad to say
-Neptune: When’s your birthday? September 23
-Pluto: What time is it right now where you are? 11:43 pm
-Moon: What are you currently studying/hope to study? I’ve always wanted to major in writing and write my own novels, although, as of late, I’ve taken to a deep fascination of space and the sky and what lies beyond, and though science is not my forte I may look towards studying that as well. I’m also yearning to learn Italian.
-Sun: Have you ever had alcohol? Once, at a party at my grandparents house, I thought this mysterious drink on the counter was one my favorite sodas, Colombiana, but I wasn’t sure; so, to make sure it was before I poured myself some, I put my finger to the nozzle where there was a drop of it and tasted it. It was disgusting, and certainly not Colombiana. As it turns out, it was beer. Other than that, no.
-Sirius: Have you ever failed a class? Nope
-Rigel: Have you ever gone on a rollercoaster? Yes, several, and I find them quite fun, although the sever anxiety I have before riding them could be left out, preferably.
-Deneb: Have you ever been out of your home country? Yes, several times. I spent a month in Colombia with my cousins, then returned a year later for a wedding. Also, as a baby, I’ve been told I went to the Dominican Republic. I’m going to England in the summer.
-Arcturus: Have you ever cried out of something other than sadness? Tears are second-nature to me, as free flowing as the blood in my veins. I’ve cried of fear, anger, frustration, happiness, guilt, out of being overwhelmed, out of feeling trapped, out of loss, out of complete gratitude and vulnerability to another person. Yes.
-Betelgeuse: What’s something you can never forget about? I still have petty grudges for people I’ll never see again, real grudges for what someone has done to hurt me. I suppose a profound memory and the one that comes to mind when presented with this question is when I locked myself in the bathroom out of a paralyzation of fear and cried.
-Aldebaran: What’s something you care desperately about? My friends, and their well-being and happiness.
-Canopus: Have you ever broken a bone? No sirree
-Bellatrix: Have you ever been forced to lie/keep a secret? Oh, all the time.
-Alphard: Have you ever lost a friend? Yes, we were incredibly close, and although we still talk it’s like there’s a big cloud above us and you know it’ll never be quite what it once was.
-Vega: What’s something you’ve done that you wish you hadn’t? At the moment I can’t think of any Profound Regrets, but I do wish I were less shy and spoke my mind more often than I do.
-Centaurus: Favorite holiday? Halloween!
-Orion: Favorite month? Honestly, every month past August is Party Time; I particularly love October
-Cassiopeia? Favorite book? Hoo boy ok. I love all the Harry Potter books and most everything Rick Riordan writes but apart from that (which goes on my Pedestal of Incredible); The Song of Achilles broke my heart but it was gorgeous and I’m in love; also, Rainbow Rowell’s novels sweep my soul away and they too are lovely.
-Delphinus: Favorite study? I love space and the stars + Greek/Roman/Egyptian/Norse/etc myths captivate my soul and I’m infatuated with them
-Hercules: Favorite instrument? Hoooo bOy, ok: the drums are incredible and I love the rhythm and beat they provide, b u t, the violin is incredibly gorgeous and elegant, the piano is hypnotizing, and basically those are my faves.
-Gemini: Favorite song? Idk?? Honestly, it changes depending on what I’m listening to, but as of now I love Dear Theodosia
-Pegasus: Favorite place to be? I love the space on top of my roof + the warm happy feeling of wherever I am w a friend
-Libra: Favorite color? All colors are beautiful but as of late I love green and mint green and every shade of green; I’m also in love with the infinite blue of the sky
-Phoenix: Favorite thing to wear? Jeans, sweater, socks (if shoes are required, then sneakers)
-Aries: Favorite movie? I don’t really have one because every movie I watch that I like I go “tHIS IS MY FAVE!!” but Captain America; Civil War broke my heart and I loved it, accompanied with Rogue One so I’m going with that
-Cyngus: Favorite weather? I like it when it’s really cold and windy, and light rain with no thunder or lightning is good. I also like cloudy and sunny, or just bright and sunny but not too hot; raining while the sun is shining is perfect
-Hydra: Favorite sound? Friend’s laughter is gorgeous, really pretty music, rain
-Milky Way: Who’s your oldest friend? My (unbiological but still) sister of 9 years
-Andromeda: Do you consider yourself social? Hell no, but with certain people I’ll chat your ear off and they’re the ones who matter
-Black Eye Galaxy: Do you believe in love at first sight? I mean...no? It takes me to get to know someone first and be friends before I develop any sort of remotely romantic feeling, so at least not for me
-Cartwheel Galaxy: When was your first kiss? I’ll get back to you when it happens ;D
-Cigar Galaxy: How’s your flirting skills? I’ve recently discovered that I actually do flirt without realizing, but through texting, so I suppose I’m rather decent,,(?) In a verbal conversation, however, absolute rubbish I guarantee it (not that I’ve tried)
-Comet Galaxy: Have you ever had to leave a relationship because someone changed too much? I’ll get back to you once i’m in or have been in a relationship ;D
-Pinwheel Galaxy: Would you date the last person you talked to? Absolutely
-Sombrero Galaxy: Do you have a crush right now? ;D
-Bode’s Galaxy: Have you ever had a secret admirer? Not that I know of
-Sunflower Galaxy: Would you date/make friends with someone out of pity? Fuck no
-Tadpole Galaxy: Would you deny a relationship/friendship? Does this mean turn someone down? Yes?
-Whirlpool Galaxy: Have you ever cried over a breakup? Yes, but not one of romantic kind
-Comet: What’s your big dream? I have several, however unrealistic they may be. I want to grow up to be happy, to be in a committed, healthy, and loving relationship with another person, and for them to be happy too. I want to write a book, or books, that inspire people and mean something to them, something they love and cherish with characters they’ll fall in love with, something that will make them love reading and do what many authors have done for me. I also wanna make a change in the world, somehow do something profound that’ll make life better for people in need. Lastly, and perhaps the most far-fetched of all, I wanna explore space? Not just our solar system or Mars, but full-on Star Trek explore; I want to be alive when/if portals are made to explore deep space and learn more about what’s out there and contact alien life.
-Meteor: What’s something you wish you could tell, but can’t? I wish I could tell my family, more importantly my immediate family, that I’m gay
-Nebula: if you could undo one thing in your life, what would it be? My birth idk
-Shooting Star: If you could bring back one thing what would it be? Um idk, my motivation to do things? Happiness?
-Pulsar: What do you hope to do in the next 10 years? Experience things and learn more things about myself and who I am, go through my Angsty Teen Discovery moment, and just enjoy life. Vote, drive, fall in love, get into college, graduate highschool.
-Supernova: What’s one thing you want to do before you die? See the world/explore space
-Quasar: If you could spend the rest of your life with only one person, who would it be? nOPE
-Wormhole: What’s something you wish would happen, but know won’t? Portals are invented and my Space Princess and I become astronauts and explore space!
-Black Hole: What’s the last thing you want to see? Everyone safe and happy, no hate, everyone living harmoniously regardless or race, religion, gender or lack thereof, or sexuality

HP and the Birthday Weekend: DH Part Two Reaction
It’s the finale, guys! It’s here! So pumped and ready to have my heartbroken! As usual, I’ll be putting the Keep Reading thing so you guys don’t get spoilers just by scrolling through. If you don’t want spoilers don’t read.
IT’S HERE LET’S GO
Oh gods Lily’s theme is playing kill me now
We’re not even 20 mins in and I’m already a mess. Someone send help.
ugh now they have to talk to Griphook the Grump.
Nah I shouldn’t be so hard on him. He’s been imprisoned for awhile
Every time I see John Hurt I get even sadder. This movie isn’t good for my health. Oh well
HARRY YOU DON’T JUST DROP THE BOMB THAT WIZARD HITLER HAS THE MOST POWERFUL WAND EVER AND THEN JUST CASUALLY TELL THEM TO GET SOME REST YOU INSENSITIVE
Yes Harry listen to Bill and don’t fuck with the goblin
Awww Luna called Dobby “Mr. Dobby.” What a cinnamon roll!
“It’s not the same place you left.” “Neither am I.” T.T
They should’ve had Ron be Bellatrix since he’s so good at impressions.
That guard who’s walking up behind Ron looks muggle af. Why don’t they give these guys proper wizarding robes?!
GRIPHOOK YOU SLICK GIT
Well that goblin that got roasted by the dragon is super dead
Gringotts just went through a massacre. Welp.
“We plan, we get there, all hell breaks loose.” Harry Potter, a summary.
Lol Aberforth’s savage. “Where would you be if I didn’t [have the mirror]?”
Ugh I hate how Ariana looks like she’s 20 SHE’S A FOURTEEN-YEAR-OLD.
THE BIRTHDAY BOY’S HERE (Neville I mean)
Goah I love Alan Rickman and the way he does Snape with the pauses and everything
YAS MINNIE SLAY HIM SLAY HIM
Oh here comes Voldy with his creepy monologue
SHUT UP PANSY
Lol Filch no one asked
Ok I think it’s really messed up how Minnie just dismisses Slytherin and everyone else cheers. No matter they’re all so bitter
YES SEAMUS’ EXPLOSIONS FINALLY GET TO BE USEFUL
Minnie looks so happy with herself when she says “I’ve always wanted to use that spell” What a cutie
YES LUNA TELL HIM
Damn that army is big
Bitch just tell him where it is [the diadem]!
I have a headcanon that Kingsley and Remus have a small rivalry going on.Like, they always seem so uptight around each other
RONKS
YES THEY KISSED THEY KISSED ROMIONE KISSED
I don’t get why the Elder Wand cracked in the movie. Yeah the wand didn’t work well for Voldy, but they never said that it cracked in the books
RUN NEVILLE RUN
YAS KINGSLEY KICK SOME ASS
Ugh I feel so bad for the Slytherins. At least they broke out tho.
Lol Hermione is so in love with Ron when he figures out the map thing.
Ron getting protective over Hermione is so freaking adorable
Okay but Rupert’s ac
GOYLE YOU DUMBASS YOU REALIZE YOUVE PLAYED YA SELF
HA KARMA GET REKT
Harry is too pure for this world
I was all engaged and then Voldy ruined it with his honking noises smh
Lucius is really getting the short end of the stick in this movie. He’s just so pitiful. Azkaban really destroyed Luciu.
LAVENDER NO
YAS ABERFORTH KICK SOME DEMENTOR ASS
Okay, so snape is an asshole, but even I’m cringing as he gets killed.
Nuu FREEEEDDDDDD!
RONKS!!! NOOOOO
First year Snily and Marauders are adorbs
Lol Sev would you like some peanut and butter with that jelly?
Aww poor Harry looks 500% done. He got duped by Dumbledick so hard.
UGH I HATE HOW RON’S JUST STANDING THERE WHILE HERMIONE HUGS HARRY. THAT’S HIS BEST FRIEND SURRENDERING TO DEATH. THEY WEREN’T EVEN SUPPOSED TO SAY GOODBYE. THAT’S WHAT MADE IT SADDER
The ressurection stone is here. Ugh...the feels
“Until the end.” UGGGGHHH MY HEART
Omgs Hagrid sounds so heartbroken NUUUUUUUU
NO ONE’S DYING EXCEPT YOU YOU NO NOSED BITCH
Okay, Dumbledore’s a dick, but he has some of the best quotes in the series.
Exhibit A: “Of course it’s happening inside your head Harry. Why should that mean that it’s not real?”
OMGS BELLATRIX JUST GOT REJECTED BY VOLDEMORT SO HARD GET REKT BITCH
Lol Narcissa literally played everyone with one word. What an icon.
The worst thing about this is that Hagrid is the one who has to carry Harry’s body. Also, Voldy do me a favor and never laugh again.
Gosh that hug is so damn awkward.
NEVILLE STOP TUGGING AT MY HEART STRINGS.
YES YES YES SHIT IS GOING DOWN SHIT HAS HIT THE FUCKING FAN SHIT HAS HIT THE FAN
Does Nagini rob people of their ability to remember that they have a wand because this is the second time the trio physically try to fight that damn snake? YOU’RE A WITCH HERMIONE YOU HAVE A WAND FUCKING USE IT
YES MOLLY YES MOLLY YASS KICK HER ASS
Why does Voldy keep using physical force to fight? That’s way too muggle. He’d definitely use magic in a lot of places where he doesn’t.
Harry: -falls off several stories down and gets pulled into a wild fight while having his head jerked around- -glasses stay on his face Me: -moves an inch- -glasses fall off my face-
YES IT’S HAPPENING IT’S HAPPENING
Ugh Voldy looks like he’s constipated. Here we go with the disintergrating thing. Why couldn’t they just have him die like a normal person?
AWW THAT HUG WITH HAGRID MENDED MY HEART JUST A LITTLE
Ugh him standing on that edge gave me so much anxiety. I definitely thought he was gonna fall off
UGH WHY YOU GOTTA SNAP THE WAND HARRY YOU’RE SUPPOSED TO FIX YOUR OWN WAND WITH THAT UGHHHHHHHH
Aww I’m tearing up and it’s not even the Epilogue.
Lily Luna looks way too happy.
All the kids are so cut and the trio looks so content and ahhhh the feels!
So overall this movie destroyed my fangirl with all the angst. I did think the final battle was done a bit sloppily, but other than that it was great. This whole reaction thing was lots of fun to do! I hope you enjoyed it too if you read it. I’ll be kinda busy tomorrow with summer homework and stuff, but hopefully I’ll have time to react to OotP.
Oh! Forgot one thing. Happy birthday to Neville and Harry!
