literally in love with the way that ruby just gets shit done. she's traveling with an actual alien that has a time and space traveling police box, and she never questions that or is like "there's gotta be something in your bag of tricks to get us out of this."

naw, my girl just comes up with her own plan. i mean, she starts banging the shit out of a space station to attract a deadly monster. she finds a way to get into every room by taking advantage of the brit's obsession with a cuppa, and she does it so fast that the doctor doesn't even have time to pull out his psychic paper.

her entire methodology is just run towards it and poke it until it does something, and it is completely reckless, but it is totally her. this isn't some kind of strange courage that only came from being in the vicinity of the doctor (she literally grabbed onto a rope hanging from a floating pirate ship before she even met the doctor), that's all her baby. such menace energy. i love it.
