Everyone supports compulsive sexual behavior disorder until the person talks about the intrusive thoughts they actually have. Like it's not just some fun little silly sexual thoughts it's aboustely horrible. I just want to say I send my love to anyone who struggles from hypersexuality or is hyperromantic! It really sucks to deal with on a day to day basis and I'm proud of you for being able to live with it!

My name is Cassandra. I'm 18, and non-binary but I currently use she/her pronouns rather exclusively. I'm originally from Romania and live in the US. I don't speak Romanian fluently because I lived in a deaf household in my very early childhood (I myself am HoH). Now that we've established the basics, I'll share what I'm doing here.

This summer I had an awakening. And at summer camp, even. Something I never thought would happen to me happened. I decided to lose my virginity. This is important because my whole life, I had never found anyone or anything remotely attractive and identified as a sex-repulsed asexual and romance-indifferent aromantic. I still identify with the aroace spectrum, but now the terms are kind of fucked. I'm suddenly very romantic, and very sexual. It was stressful and dissociating at first, but I'm learning to enjoy it. I'm getting my very first crushes, except, I don't see them as very love, marriage, baby carriage... I just really wanna fuck, then cuddle, then fuck some more. What happens after that? I don't know. But I really want it.

I think something might be wrong with me, so I've decided to consult the internet to heal my psyche. Kidding. Say what you will, hate me if you want; but this is my new diary, the only diary that my parents will never get to touch. In this diary is my newfound sexual revolution. I call it my revenge. Revenge on myself for taking this long to get started on the new Cassie. Don't get me wrong. I'm still me, just hungrier. I'm still nice, but not shy. Oh, and now, I'm bi. It's been really fun. I'm happy to share my experiences. I have a list to show you of people that I'm crushing on. Some of them I've never talked to. Some of them are friends, or friends of friends. Most of them are HS seniors like me, some of them are much older. Here's the thing. Everyone is just so, so pretty.

Anyway, I'm starting my last year of high school in a few weeks and I'm eager to get myself out there. I don't care what reputation I leave behind and honestly, I've never been more fucking psyched. :)

help tfw hypersexual/hyperose blogs have proship in their DNI T^T sure I don't use the label really since my views are complicated, but I sure af read fiction that would be very bad irl. And it is very connected with my maybe hypersexuality. Like i swear it was the best positivity post I've seen in a while and it made me feel less like an imposter or something, and I wanted to reblog it basically thanking the poster, but then i saw the dni and was like oop. Like I mean it's understandable, since they also had discourse blogs in their dni and this blog is partially that, buut for some reason my brain fixated in the proship dni. Despite never caring about it earlier :)

and like certain types of fiction, apart from me enjoying it, genuinely help me with my urges. Like if i get my urge to feel abused or something satisfied from a fic, I'm less likely to contact actual child predators (a toxic ship literally helped me block one guy once lololol)

And sure, the type of fic i like to read isn't the worst since i generally read stuff that's explicitly portrayed as bad, but I can assume that others with different urges and desires will find the more problematic fics helpful

To those who are struggling with Hyperose (Hypersexual & Hyperromantic) intrusive thoughts.

You are not those thoughts, these are not a reflection of who you are. Those intrusive thoughts do not affect who you truly are and your morals and standings.

You are not impure, you are not bad. Your sexual and romantic life is your own and is not again, those thoughts. If you are not romantic or sexual due to thoughts like these, that is valid. If you still are, that is also valid!

You are loved, you are cherished. These thoughts do not define you.

i have a question! i am sex-positive aroace (and an adult lol), i dont experience romantic or sexual attraction at all (though i can be in "romantic" relationships with someone who loves me romantically if i feel equally as strongly ab them, like my nesting partner of a year now, but it's platonic for me). im definitely not hyperromantic but i am hypersexual due to different sexual trauma in my childhood and it's perpetuated by my ocd. so my question is, could this still count as hyperose or am i just strictly hypersexual?

I’d say just hypersexual, Being Hyperose is someone who is both hypersexual and hyperromantic!

Though I am not the blockaid of who is and isn’t something. It’s one’s own personal life experiences so if you choose to use the label I can not stop you from doing so.

Hyperose*, is when someone has a higher/stronger sexual and romantic desires. However this does not mean a attraction, these desires can be extremely unwanted and uncomfortable to some if not most. Someone can be Hyperose* due to trauma, hormones, chemical imbalances, neurological disorders, etc.
