PLUS. its in my house now so no need to#have to leave. I can make my own drinks in the comfort of home. .. ideal..#Like no matter how rich I ever got I would still have the lingering scroogey stinginess. like i am NOT paying for that. I wasn't really kidding when I said that I think it's fully possible that Chenford gets married before Bailey and Nolan, or the idea that they pull a "Princess Diaries 2 Maneuver where Bailey and Nolan break up AT their wedding and Tim and Lucy respond with "Hey free wedding!"
Like I'm not PREDICTING that, persay. But Tim and Lucy got the commitment thing down QUICK and Nolan and Bailey are being very weird about it.
#the rookie#chenford#in the time between nolan and bailey getting engaged and setting a date for the wedding (which has NOT happened yet)#tim and lucy were voth dating other people were forced to confront their mutual feelings; lucy almost moved in with her other boyfriend;#both of then exited their other relationships; they started dating; tim quit his job for her#and in the same space of time the other couples main relationship moves have been a big ordeal over bailey moving her stuff into nolans#house where she's already living#and then months later having a big ordeal over her selling her house that again she hasnt been living in for over six months#and still no wedding date#i mean couples move at different paces and thats fine#and chenford is moving probably unusually fast now that they're together aa a product of how well they already knew each other#but. bailey and nolan are moving very slow and a lot of the time when they get focus its about weird hesitancy to commit#but without directly saying so#and i think we're moving past the line of 'move at the pace you're comfortable with' into the realm of 'this is probably a sign that#something is wrong here'

i say this every three months or so but i have GOT to get back into archery . my god i have GOT to find a fucking recurve bow
#i was in dunhams the other day and literally any store that sells bows aorund here ONLY sells#compounds or crossbows#i dont know how else to express it i do not want a gadget! i dont want gears! i just want. a flexible stick with a string on it#and some other sticks i can use it to propel at great distances very fast#also the only archery range i can think of around here is up at the sportsmans club#its POSSIBLE they have equipment to rent but you can probably only use it there#and i have a big empty backyard where i could shoot haybales and overripe squash to my hearts content#IF I HAD A BOW AND ARROW#the real kicker is that i live in a house owned by an uncle who has made multiple bows and has many half-finished bows leaning in a corner#but i dont know how to finish making them so i cannot use the bows here . they really are just sticks of wood#growing up we had this ancient fucking thirty year old bow that was strung so loosely bc we were kids#and apparently my dad and his brothers used to use it to go bow fishing? or so i assume from the label#which was a little plastic office type label that read 'carp killer' . i miss you carp killer . you were so fun to shoot zucchini with
