Legal & Financial Aspects of Personal Loans: Everything You Need to Know
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/d671f0ef1519bb84f7cc673c61ddd80a/e49447dd792b97bf-94/s400x600/3a96e519a9631445b4751bb5a7cc67233ea8c9b7.jpg)
Personal loans are a popular financial tool that many individuals rely on to meet their urgent needs, whether it’s for medical expenses, home renovations, education, or debt consolidation. While personal loans offer great flexibility and convenience, it’s important to understand the legal and financial aspects of borrowing. This will help you make informed decisions and avoid any pitfalls during the loan application, repayment, and settlement process.
In this article, we will explore the legal and financial aspects of personal loans, including the key factors to consider, eligibility criteria, documentation requirements, and how to ensure you are making a financially sound decision when opting for a personal loan.
1. What Are Personal Loans?
A personal loan is an unsecured loan offered by financial institutions such as banks and NBFCs (Non-Banking Financial Companies). Unlike loans that require collateral (e.g., home loan, car loan), personal loans are unsecured, meaning they don’t require any asset as security. They are generally used for personal expenses, such as:
Medical emergencies
Home renovations
Debt consolidation
Educational expenses
Travel or weddings
Since no collateral is involved, personal loans typically have higher interest rates compared to secured loans. However, they come with flexible terms, allowing borrowers to use the loan for any purpose, without restrictions.
2. Legal Aspects of Personal Loans
When it comes to personal loans, understanding the legal framework is crucial for both the borrower and the lender. Below are the key legal aspects that every borrower should be aware of:
2.1. Loan Agreement
A loan agreement is the contract between the borrower and the lender, outlining the terms and conditions of the loan. It is a legally binding document that protects both parties. It typically includes:
Loan amount
Interest rate
Repayment tenure
EMI (Equated Monthly Installment) schedule
Fees and charges
Penalties for delayed payments
Rights and obligations of both parties
2.2. Legal Implications of Default
If you fail to repay your personal loan, it may result in legal consequences such as:
Late fees: Banks often charge penalties for missed or late payments.
Damage to credit score: Missing payments or defaulting can severely impact your credit rating.
Legal action: In extreme cases, the lender can take legal action to recover the amount.
In some cases, the lender may initiate a civil suit or approach a debt recovery tribunal to recover dues. Therefore, it’s important to have a clear repayment strategy and seek professional advice if you're struggling with repayments.
3. Financial Aspects of Personal Loans
Understanding the financial aspects of personal loans is just as important as knowing the legal implications. Here are key financial factors to consider before taking out a personal loan:
3.1. Interest Rates
Personal loans come with varying interest rates depending on several factors such as your credit score, loan amount, tenure, and the lender's policies. The interest rate on personal loans typically ranges from 10% to 25% per annum. Borrowers with good credit scores are likely to receive lower interest rates, while those with poor credit scores may face higher rates.
🔗 Best Loan Providers with Competitive Rates:
IDFC First Bank Personal Loan
Bajaj Finserv Personal Loan
3.2. Processing Fees
Lenders typically charge a processing fee to cover the administrative costs of approving and disbursing the loan. The processing fee usually ranges from 1% to 3% of the loan amount. It's essential to factor this fee into the overall loan cost when deciding whether to apply.
3.3. Prepayment and Foreclosure Charges
Many lenders allow you to repay the loan early or close the loan before the agreed tenure, but this often comes with prepayment or foreclosure charges. These charges may range from 1-5% of the outstanding loan amount. Always check for these clauses before signing the loan agreement.
3.4. Loan Tenure and EMI
The loan tenure is the period over which you repay the loan. Personal loans generally have a tenure of 1 to 5 years, but it can extend up to 7 years in some cases. The longer the tenure, the smaller the EMI (Equated Monthly Installment), but this also means you’ll pay more interest over the loan term.
It's important to balance loan tenure with your financial situation to avoid paying unnecessarily high interest while keeping your monthly payments manageable.
4. Eligibility Criteria for Personal Loans
Before applying for a personal loan, lenders have certain eligibility criteria that you must meet. These criteria include:
4.1. Income Level
Lenders require you to have a steady income to ensure that you can repay the loan. Generally, salaried employees and self-employed individuals can apply for personal loans, provided they meet the minimum income requirement.
4.2. Credit Score
Your credit score plays a crucial role in the approval of a personal loan. A score of 750 or above is considered ideal for getting a personal loan at favorable rates. Borrowers with lower scores may face higher interest rates or even rejection of their application.
4.3. Employment Status
Lenders often prefer borrowers who are employed in reputed companies or have stable self-employment. You’ll need to provide proof of employment or business registration to demonstrate your financial stability.
4.4. Age Criteria
Typically, applicants need to be between 21 and 60 years old to qualify for a personal loan. Younger borrowers may find it easier to secure a loan, while older borrowers might face restrictions based on repayment tenure and their ability to meet loan obligations.
5. Documentation Required for Personal Loans
When applying for a personal loan, you'll need to provide various documents for verification purposes. Common documentation includes:
Identity proof: Aadhaar, PAN card, passport, or voter ID
Address proof: Utility bill, rental agreement, passport, etc.
Income proof: Salary slips, bank statements, ITR (Income Tax Returns)
Employment proof: Offer letter (for new employees) or employment certificate (for salaried employees)
Bank statements: Last 6 months
Having your documents ready ensures a smooth loan approval process.
6. How to Choose the Right Personal Loan Provider
When selecting a lender for your personal loan, consider the following factors:
Interest rates: Compare the rates offered by different lenders to ensure you’re getting the best deal.
Processing fees: Make sure the lender's fees are reasonable and won’t significantly increase the loan cost.
Repayment terms: Choose a lender that offers flexible repayment terms and a suitable tenure.
Customer service: Opt for a lender with responsive customer service to assist you in case of any issues during the loan tenure.
Make an Informed Loan Decision
Understanding the legal and financial aspects of personal loans is vital to ensure that you make the best decision for your financial situation. By considering factors like interest rates, eligibility, and repayment terms, you can select the ideal personal loan provider.
Before applying, always read the loan agreement carefully, ensure you meet the eligibility criteria, and check for hidden fees that could affect your overall loan cost.

Things from Wandee Goodday ep 3 I can't stop thinking about:
I love so much that we got some good friends with benefits tension around personal boundaries when Dee asked who Yei was and then backed off (but Yak told him anyway). And between the jokes about rimming, Dee demanding Yak pay more attention to his dick last episode, and starting this episode in the 69 position, I am very, very here for this show saying over and over that sex is not just one act.
[ID: Gif of the beginning of episode 3, whichi is a pan-to-shot of Dee and Yak laying in 69 position on the floor under blankets]
i loved the different responses to hearing someone you love is in a "Friends with Benefits" situation; Kao warned Dee not to catch feelings or read too much into the situation and Cher/Yei teased Yak for lying to himself about what the situation is. Both are super valid and speak to who Dee and Yak are, who Kao and Cher/Yei are, and all of their experiences with love. And it speaks to the closeness of these relationships too, that Cher noticed Yak's necklace gone immediately and Kao similarly clocked its addition on Dee instantly.
Super here for Kao being the ultimate support bestie at work, equal parts haranguing and backing Dee up. Their relationship is perfection.
I really liked Yak peace-ing out of their agreement when Dee dropped a huge request with no context, that was so valid and in the spirit of FWB (he didn't actually owe him a bigger conversation).
I've already reblogged a couple of other people (@negrowhat and @lurkingshan) talking about this so I won't belabour it, but I am judging Dee for not only ignoring Yak's boundaries by going to his workplace and forcing him to train him and then flirting with him during training sessions after Yak both made clear he's worried about being out at work and had ended their agreement. I hope we get more of an explanation for Yak's reticence about dating a man while aiming for the championship as well as his change of mind.
The conversations with Cher and Oyei have me so curious about their history! Tell me everything, show. I put these questions in tags on a gifset (but to put them on main: Where is Oyei and Yak's father (who is also a former champ but apparently uninvolved with this family business, if he's still alive)? What happened to Yak's mother that he doesn't know if he takes after her? Why can they go to Cher's family for financial help but not Yei/Yak's (to the point where they had to take out what sounds like a predatory loan during COVID)? What is Cher afraid of re: being seen being affectionate to Oyei, and where does that come from? Is this history related to why Yak is so worried about his relationship to Dee getting in the way of his championship? All of this is seeded so organically and I'm so, so curious. It also has me even more in my feelings about Cher and Yei calling Yak their son.
[ID: Gif of Yei saying to Cher: I own this place. What's there to be afraid of? From the set linked in the paragraph above]
[I have a clown theory that Cher and Oyei's relationship is why his dad is out of the picture and his gym is in financial trouble (because it prevented Yei from getting sponsorship despite being a champion), and why Yak is worried about being in a relationship with a man even though he knows his brother won't care...we'll see how much of this the show pulls together!]
The flash of trauma from Dee at the crosswalk was interesting too; where is that going? What happened in Dee's past and how is it going to affect the story in future?
[More clown speculation: Is it related to why Dee is so good with patients and passionate about ortho? Has he seen someone in his life become disabled due to physical injury?]
Speaking of, I really loved seeing Dee be good at his job and great with patients and their families. In addition to it being just nice to see and good for our understanding of his character, it sets him up to have a fighting chance in the contest too, since patients apparently get a vote.
I love love love the camaraderie and giggling between Dee and Yak around making Ter jealous and shoving their fake relationship in those gossiping nurses' faces. The way they are actually friends who like one another and enjoy spending time together is just really wonderful to watch.
My biggest question is: Will Dee get a chance in this narrative to show up for Yak the way Yak has been showing up for Dee? And how can that current imbalance be reconciled with this all leading towards Dee trying to get a placement to go abroad--and his self-stated toxic trait of always needing to win? [shoutout to @chicademartinica for laying that out succinctly in her post]
In the meantime, I'm having a blast.
#wandee goodday#bl meta#typed so that i can stop thinking it#this show is laying down a lot of groundwork and doing a lot of things i really like#with a few things that have me nervous#looking forward to the ride this show takes us on every week as we learn more!

Confrontation - Stardew Valley Elliott x Player
(or: Elliott has a shitty father, but you are there to protect him)
It’s a late morning in Pelican Town. You just sold some fish to Willy and earned quite a big amount of cash - at least, compared to what you’re used to. You were lucky both with your fishing rod and your crab pots.
“Ain’t you gonna sell me that one too? Very nice piece of lobster, it is.” Asks Willy, but you already have plans for that particular lobster.
“It’s a gift.” You answer with a mysterious smile.
As you head towards Elliott’s cabin, you start hearing something strange. There’s two voices coming from the hut. One you know and - dare you say it - love. It’s the voice of your favourite writer, with whom you’ve spent countless hours talking, flirting and helping him with his chapters. And precisely because you know it so well, you can tell that Elliott is in huge distress, even before you can understand the words.
The other voice belongs to an older man. You don’t know him, but you quickly piece the puzzles together. Now, that you came closer to the doors and can hear the voices clearly, you have a nasty feeling that you know exactly who is causing your friend to squirm and stutter, like he almost never does.
“I’ve told you, I’ll get you your stupid money next month!” Elliott raises his voice.
“My stupid money” The other person is calm, but you can sense the storm underneath. “was what paid for your university. Which you didn’t even finish.”
“Only because, as I always told you, I didn’t want to go to medical school!”
“Well, maybe if you’ve spent more time thinking realistically about your future, and less time chasing your unrealistic childhood dreams, you’d have a better living conditions than… this.”
You don’t see the person talking, but you know for sure that they just made a gesture around Elliott’s small, dusty home.
“Father…” Elliott tries as hard as he can to be calm. “I will get you the money. I’ve been commissioned to write a few commercials for the local newspaper. Just as I told you in a letter, your 2000g will be ready to pick up next month.”
The man scoffs, not even trying to hide contempt. “Commission for a commercial? Oh yes, I see that your goal about being an author is just about to be reached. I hope that the local newspaper pays well, because when I return to you next month you will be owing me 3000 gold.”
There is a moment of silence in the cabin. Elliott is speechless. You are too. What kind of % is this?! Even Joja Corp has a more lenient policy of collecting their debts.
“You can’t be serious.” Says finally Elliott. He sounds hopeless.
“Oh, I can assure you I am dead serious. If you don’t like my conditions, you shouldn’t have signed on that loan document.”
“You have made me sign it…” Elliott’s voice is now trembling with anger. “When I WAS EIGHTEEN! Barely a legal adult, and you screw me into some sick agreement that makes me pay you thousands of g if I don’t go the career path that you chose for me?! You call that fair?!”
“Absolutely.” The voice is still very calm, very cold and very… cruel. “Had you been paying attention on business class I and your mother payed extra for, you would have known how to properly read the contract. Instead you wanted to… scribble some nonsense. And where have that brought you?”
You look into your wallet and bite your lip. Inside are almost all your savings - the money you just got from Willy and most of what you had at home. The plan was to buy seeds and a reserve supply of hay for it… But as you’re making calculations in your head, you already know what you’re going to do.
Well, thank Yoba for the theatre club in high school.
“Hello Elliott!” You walk in without knocking, pretending to be in the highest spirits and to not even notice the stress and terror on your friend’s face. You pass the tall man in a suit (ridiculous choice for this warm weather) ignoring him completely, which brings you some semblance of satisfaction.
“Elliott, sorry that it’s so late” You put a big block of cash on his wooden table. “but I brought back the money you’ve lend me.”
Writer must have also attended theatre classes at some point, because the pace with which his expression changes from confused to absolutely serious could win him an Oscar.
“Thank you, y/n…” He reaches for the money, but his father snatches it before him. He looks at you and at the banknotes with distrust, licks his long, thick fingers and starts counting.
“Hundred and fifty… three hundred… Hmm.” He rises his eyebrows in surprise, the first genuine sign of emotion that he let out in your presence. “You can call yourself very lucky, son, this money is enough to pay off your debt… this instalment of it.”
You feel your insides boiling.
“So tell me… y/n, was it?” He acknowledges your presence for the first time, giving you the most fake, vicious smile you ever saw. “It is a frequent habit of my offspring to lend people such a significant sums of money?”
“Actually,” You lie without skipping a beat. “these are profits from Elliott’s investment.”
The man raises his eyebrows again.
“Investment?”
“Of course!” You smile cheerfully, while focusing all your thoughts on wishing that Elliott’s father would be struck by a lightning bolt, right then and there. “In the last season, Elliott encouraged me to take a risk and plant a certain cropp. The cropp he advised proved to be very profitable, and now I’m returning what Elliott gave me. With interest.”
“My son actually had enough of a brain to lend with interest? Pray, tell me, farmer… what were the cropps he so wisely advised you to plant?”
“Strawberries.” You still smile sweetly and don’t let yourself be caught on a lie in such an obvious way.
“Hmf.” Elliott’s father clearly isn’t happy that he can’t rub his deduction skills in your face. He turns to his son again. “Perhaps the hardships of rural life brought some manliness out of you. Let’s see, you ow me this much, so what’s left for you is….”
He takes a single banknote out of the bunch and drops it on the floor under Elliott’s shoes. He smirks, watching a helpless fury in his son’s eyes.
“Invest it wisely and maybe you can afford the next payment.” He says as he turns to open the door.
You can’t stand it.
“Excuse me, sir.” You say still sweetly smiling, but now letting a note of anger into your voice. “Didn’t you forget about something?”
The man looks at you with irritation, which for you means a small victory.
“What?”
“To congratulate your son.” Both Elliott and his father seem like they want to say something, but you don’t let yourself be interrupted. “You just witnessed him making a very smart, very profitable financial decision. Shan’t you congratulate him on that?”
“Little… farmer.” The man hunches over you in almost a threatening way. This time you have to try harder to maintain your self-confident face expression. “Making half-responsible decisions with his money is a bare minimum I would expect for an average man his age. Average. And being my son, he dropped below the bare minimum the moment he decided to pick up this stupid writing project of his.” Anger shows on your face and you attempt to say something, but this time the older man is on a dominant position. “He has to learn his place. And so, apparently, should you.”
Elliott’s father leaves in silence, leaving you both stunned for a moment. Writer is first to break the silence.
“T-thank you.” He says shyly and quietly, and it pains you to hear his voice brought down to this level. “You didn’t have to…”
“Don’t mention it.” You still boil with anger at the old man, wishing he was one of the skull cavern monsters you could unleash your sword upon. “This… this piece of shit. This garbage of a human!” You start walking around the cabin, your body can’t contain it’s energy. “The way he talked to you! That…”
Suddenly you stop all actions. Not only your steps and waving your hands, but it seems like your heart and lungs froze in time as well. You put your arms down, very calmly, looking at the writer with wide eyes. The reason is clear.
He flinched.
“Elliott…?” You say, suddenly in very calm voice. “Elliott, did you think that I…?
“N-no, of course not!” Despite the hot weather, Elliott is shaking. He clearly tries to stop his body from making that movement, but he is unable to. Instead he looks at you apologetically, as if he had anything to apologize for. “It’s nothing. I-it’s just…”
“Elliott.” You feel the cold fury flooding all of your insides. “Did he hit you?”
Writer shakes his head.
“Ever?”
No response.
You see red.
You don’t even know when you storm out of the cabin, rushing towards the street in which this poor excuse of a human left his expensive, fancy car. You want to run but something is stopping you, through the blood flow in your ears you hear Elliott’s voice, first very dimly, and then, as he manages to hold you in one place for longer, a little more clear.
“No! Y/n, please don’t go there! Please!”
You push forward, stopping only when you feel warm stream of tears on the back of your shirt.
“Please, y/n, don’t make it worse…” He whimpers. “Don’t make it worse…”
You snap out of your anger. What were you doing? Now the most important thing in the world is to make sure Elliott’s okay!
“I’m sorry…” You whisper and hug him as you both start to withdraw to his cabin. Behind you there’s a loud sound of a car engine and then you hear a leaving vehicle.
Despite the walk to his cabin being very short, by the end of it you practically carry Elliott. You help him sit on his bed, try to make sure he’s okay, ask if he needs anything. He barely responds, manely with nodding or shaking his head. Eventually all you can do is hug him tightly through his panic attack.
Luckily, it’s short. After about ten minutes Elliott’s breath is getting more even, and he is able to caress you gently with his hand.
“Thank you.” He whispers.
“I’m sorry.” You respond, unable to hold in tears any longer. “I f-feel like I’ve only made everything worse.”
“Are you kidding me?” You look in his face. It’s still bit pale, and you can still see dried remains of tears in the corners of his eyes, but the face he makes is pretty close to his usual, confident expression. “I’ve never had anyone so… chivalrously defend me.”
You smile through tears.
“Of course I did defend you, I…” you stop yourself a little. Maybe it isn’t the best idea to add the four-letter word into the mix of emotions you both are currently going through. “… I care about you. Very much.”
He smiles and hugs you tighter, and you can feel the strength coming back into his arms.
“I care about you too.” He whispers in your ear.

Trade Secrets (Yandere Sampo x Reader)
TW: Obssesive Behaviour, Manipulation. Read at your own risk.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/3df2948d0b73e2b335890908c50a39f2/55aad02ee25cc3e4-d0/s540x810/f4453ecd5ca139f58bd6797e3b166301fdfae29e.jpg)
You can't really tell if Sampo Koski is a good person.
Or a bad person, because you could never really say if his actions are for his clients or for himself, but realistically speaking, all businesses are like that. All deals, all transactions and for whatever purpose, the merchant and the employer must reap the benefit of their agreements. On the merchant's part, the benefit is the pay; the money or whatever possesion their employer had that they can have once they finish the job, and on the client's part, the benefit is the job that is done by the person they hired. Business are for yourself, and for your clients.
This is what you believed Sampo always had kept in mind. At the end of the day, all of us just wanted to have a good pay and treat for ourselves, and of course, a job well done! It doesn't really matter If theres a few loose ends on the way-- these things are part of the job. If you have to use other people to your advantage to get the job done easier for yourself, or even if you have to manipulate, or in a simple much more convincing word-- to persuade other people into giving in and to avail your offered good services and commodities, all of this are the basic, fundamental meaning of business. Without manipula--err, persuasion, there's no business to be made!
That is what Sampo's mentality is. He is not a bad person, because he's only doing what's expected to him as a businessman. But he's not a good person either, because he's willing to do everything to make his life easier and for a good extra tip-- even if that means persuading other people. And since he neither had the basic quality of a human being in this standard of society, he had one quality that you can call him. Again, he's not good, but he's not bad, either.
He's manipulative.
And which is why you avoid making transactions with him as best as you can. You know there's something wrong with his discounts, there's ulterior motives behind his free commissions and his 'deal all you can' and 'loan with zero interest' offers is as suspicous as him. You'd seen him make deals with other people in the underworld but he's never as desperate as when he tries to persuade you into his doubtful offers. He's always there, waiting, staring, following, just for you to give in. You knew better, anyway, than to fall for his trap, even if his offers hits too tempting to let go because its involved with any recent problem you have, and its just a coincidence that he knows whatever is bothering you at recent anyway.
Until, well, you got yourself into a big, mess of a business transaction.
Its something that no matter how hard you try to get yourself out to, you can't. It felt like you threw yourself at a rabbit hole, and you desperately are in need of a helping hand. It felt like you are thrown in a maze, trapped, helpless, scared. Every day you feel like you were being watched, and at night the doorknob to your room rattles and rotates likes someone is trying to get in. Walking in the streets of the underworld became a horror to you as you feel like you are being followed, but there also, Sampo appeared.
Out of nowhere, with a smile that is not his usual convincing, persuasive and businessman smile, but the kind of smile that felt like he knows what he's doing will benefit him in the long run. He held your right cheek, and leaned into your left ear, and there he spoke of the various solutions that he offers to solve your problem. A quick fix, a solution and he doesn't even require you to pay. All you have to do is say yes. All you have to do is nod your little head and everything will be okay.
Sampo... is a manipulative businessman. He had all the tricks up in his sleeve, all that means to get an extra to every deal. When things doesn't go his way, he makes way for it with a smile on his face, and a radiating positivity, all his actions justified, because there's no way that nothing goes according to his plans. If there is actually something that doesn't go according to what he planned, for example, you, he adds a little pressure on your side. It is not equal if the pressure is always on him, after all! Business are always equal to both parties, is it not? It only takes a little cracking on the wall you had created between the two of you, one that if he destroyed, youre surely falling right into his arms, just as he first planned when he approached you.
Now that you witnessed first-hand how he works, don't go telling it to others now! Not that you can talk to others now anyway. But just in case!
Its a trade secret, after all~

What are the princes personalities like in your AU? And what is each ring of hell like- is it like what it is in Dante’s Inferno?
It is a bit like Dante's inferno as the rings of hell are all themed based on each Devil's preferences.
I'll tell you a bit about Mephistopheles, his realm is like an office, there's a lot of processing and paperwork and he oversees the manufacture of devil contracts. Every contract is a bit different and each devil goes about contracting their targeted souls a different way. Wrath/Satan operates a barracks and his contracts read like conscription papers. All of his contracted are training to be soldiers in an upcoming war against heaven. Greed/Mammon is a debt collector, his contracts are almost like loan agreements with heavy interest rates. His realm resembles and elaborate bank filled with accountants who keep tabs on how much mortal wealth their contracted accumulate and convert it into years of labor in Hell. Envy/Leviathan is actually where most of the players are currently at and the function of that one is a bit different as Leviathan is a giant sea monster that swallows whole ships. This is actually how I got the Nautilus into the current play through and will be giving Nemo an extended role. There is also a world within the serpent, who was born Jormungandr but has become the Leviathan due to the influence of the current ruling religion, (something that irks Nemo to no end because he himself is not Christian and has a deep resentment towards the encroachment of the religion over all others,) Within the realm of the Serpent's belly contracts look like trade agreements designed to obtain one party what it covets but only in exchange for giving something desired of theirs to another.
The others haven't been reached yet and I don't want to go to heavily into upcoming arcs as they are subject to change based on player needs/choices.

apply for unemployment benefits
review, negotiate, and sign your separation agreement
make an unemployment budget
take advantage of your final weeks of employer-sponsored insurance by having last-minute doctors appointments and getting your prescriptions refilled
look for new health insurance
contact student loan servicer to request a deferment/update your payment plan
More about this:
Unemployment benefits
If you’re eligible for unemployment benefits, apply to them right away. Different states are different, but you may need to have an in-person meeting at the unemployment office before you get any money. Scheduling this can take weeks. The world will look so much brighter if you have a little income. So if you qualify, do this first!
You will typically qualify for benefits if you got laid off or fired, but you also made qualify if your contract ended. Also you can usually freelance and still get benefits depending on how much you make.
Budgeting
Making a budget was really important to me so that I could concretely see whether I needed to panic about money and so I could give myself permission to relax. My goal was to stretch my severance and unemployment as far as possible while also doing stuff I enjoy.
Here's my budget template just in case our brains work the same way. This template is based on an old budget of mine - there are items on here that I set to $0 once I got laid off. I literally did budget in movie tickets because that has a massive impact on my joy in life.
Severance
If you are getting severance, it is possible to negotiate how much you get! I was able to get a few extra weeks basically by saying “this is bad timing and my income also supports my family."
Negotiating severance is like negotiating salary in that your former employer will probably give you less than you ask for. It's unlike negotiating salary in that you usually have zero leverage so honestly you might as well do an emotional appeal. IMO
Putting together an unemployed life
Stuff I consider absolutely non-negotiable aka things I MUST do not to spiral:
Make plans with friends. Write all your social plans down in your calendar and treat them as seriously as work.
Do something other than job hunting. Pick up a hobby. Give yourself a really specific reading or movie watching challenge. Volunteer. This will allow you to feel like you have a life which is absolutely critical to your self esteem, your ability to socialize, and your ability to function. You are going to have days when you NEED to feel cool. That will be way easier if you volunteered a few days ago than if you haven't done anything joyful for weeks.
Try to take care of your physical health. Move your body, eat full meals, go to bed at a regular time. I have really realized that sometimes the difference between me feeling good and despondent is truly just like, have I slept well and eaten and exercised recently.
Do things you like doing. I think it is very common to become unemployed and feel like you have to strip away everything in your life that's not focused on the job hunt. But you cannot stop doing everything that brings you happiness and expect to be okay. You will love your life if you fill it with things you love and you will hate it if you don't.
More tips....
Make a list of free or cheap things you can do for fun and then do them! Being unemployed is a great time to go to free days at museums if there’s anything like that near you. It’s also a good time to try a new recipe, check out a new walking path, FaceTime with a friend, write your grandma a letter, make diary comics, listen to new albums, watch movies you always meant to watch... for me though getting out of the house is especially important. I am constantly googling "free things to do in chicago this weekend" lol it pays off especially in a city!
I literally make Google calendar events for myself that are like "free museum day." I need to protect that time and treat it like an appointment to make myself actually do things.
If you have friends who wfh, go hang out with them and job hunt while they're working!
Applying for jobs
Tell everyone that you are job hunting. Post it far and wide. A lot of people get referral bonuses so they'll be trying to help you!
Job boards I use most heavily: Idealist, Otta, Built In, LinkedIn
This is so obvious but a lesson I really learned recently: only apply to places if you would take the job. If you're like "realistically I would not do that for that salary range" do not apply. you are gonna get yourself in Situations @ me two months ago
If you have a 1st or 2nd LinkedIn connection at a job you’re looking at dm them and say you'd love to hear what they think of the company!
I have also had success messaging random people on LinkedIn. Basically following this format: "Hi [name]! I came across this job at your company - I'm really interested and I'd love to hear more about what it's like working with the team. I'm sure you're busy, but is there any chance you have 15 minute this week or next to chat with me about the company before I apply? Thanks either way!"
Not everyone will want to talk but sometimes people still give you good insight into the hiring process.
It is really important to me to have boundaries around my job search. This has varied a bit depending on my schedule but the best thing I've found is telling myself I apply to jobs 9am-12pm. At noon I am DONE.
Interviewing
My interview prep: practice my elevator pitch with a focus on why it lead me to this company, pick out a few anecdotes from my past jobs I can share (a time I messed up, something I worked on that had a good result, something that didn’t go as expected, a time I had to deal with conflict), read the job's website and any news items I can find about them, and do a little quick review of the industry.
Most commonly repeated questions I've encountered recently: what's a time you made a mistake, what kind of management style do you like, why should we hire you.
This is the first time in my life I've ever genuinely practiced an elevator pitch and I hate to say it but it's really helped
After an interview (especially a panel interview) immediately take a few notes on what people said so you can write personalized thank yous.
I hope something in that was helpful and if not I'm sorry for the wall of text LOL but hugs and kisses it is all gonna be ok!!!

just found out that bones planned out a whole ada office floor for consistensy of animation, I'm guessing. apparently their office is quite humongous and there is a kitchenette. also so many interesting info can be pulled from there!! dazai sits near kunikida and across atsushi and ranpo has his own desk. yosano sits near kenji???
now we need the port mafia floor plan lmaoo. actually we know so little about how exactly they work, we mostly see them at very plot-adjasten missions, like go wipe out the mysterious organisation or ability user, but I'm guessing they also have a lot of much more mundane modus operandi. like smuggle shit at the docks. go make an agreement with x guys. go oversee the opening of the new store we'll use as our front. or go look what our loan sharks are up to. I like when fanfic writers dive a bit into this, It's a lot of interesting research.
Coincidentally many of my own ocs are criminal syndicate members so I also have to delve a bit into that, and sometimes have to read about some despicable and gruesome stuff and get weirdly excited when I get my hands on any random bits of info about how gangs work. Fun times (it's bsd fault, actually)
Makes me guess if Kafka also has to do this research and how much of it and whether or not yakuzas are onto him for trying to find out how to "access black market and darknet" and "who and where smuggles weapons in Japan".
Fun fact, smuggling drugs is less popular/harder in Japan!
This is so interestinggg ( ˶°ㅁ°) !!
Yeah, the seating arrangements check out, I think. But it's really cool that there's this kind of info available!! <3
Oooo yesyes definitely! I also love fanfics where these kinds of things are tackled <3 And when PM specifics get discussed in BSD in general. The whole thing about the gem smuggling system from SB was a lot more entertaining to me that I would have thought.
Spoiler alert, I guess, but I'm actually working on a longfic for this account where these kinds of things have... Quite a bit of plot importance. Well, not just the mundane things, but also just mafia operations in general, so I'll really have to do my own plate of research on this sometime. Though it is an AU, and I do think it would work a bit differently in BSD with the... supernatural powers and such.
Now you made me wanna research gangs, too 😭😭 This kind of information is definitely my cup of tea (I like just about any facts about... Anything. I love learning about Things, and especially so if the other person loves telling me in equal measure fkjhdg), so feel free to rant here about anything you're particularly excited about, if you want 💗💕
Lovely day to youu!! Very fun ask! ( ੭ ˘ ³˘)੭°。⋆♡‧₊˚
#🫀 — asks!#i’m actually gonna make a special tag for asks of this nature. for my own convenience#💕 — (fun) facts!#there we go

Hey! I wanted to let those who may not know that the first story in today's episode had quite a few more updates they didn't get to. It wasn't attached to the one reposted, so they might not have seen it. A LOT went down.
I sent @winterxgardener a rundown summary of what else happened, but if those of you are curious, they are u/Scared-Weakness-6250. There are about seven or eight more updates.
It's a bit of a read, but also very interesting if you felt like you wanted more to the story.
I wished they had seen it as it would have been cool to hear their thoughts and reactions. Maybe they could do an episode called "Updates We Missed" or something like that going through previous stories and the updates that came after the episodes were taped?
Anyway, I hope all of you are having a great morning, noon, or night!
Kudos to @thisisatakenusername for updating us regarding the first story for the Reddit story. Whoa! Be prepared; it's a lot of information to handle. ⬇️
Basically the OP installed a lot of security measures and put in cameras and signs. They ended up cutting through the massive lock with an angle grinder and broke in. The police and the property manager came and caught them and they thankfully didn't resist arrest or no charges could have been dropped.
The damages were $5000. He planned on suing them for damages and especially the money they made off renting it illegally. The parents pretty much want nothing to do with the place now and OP understands but is sad because it was originally intended for them.
He ended up getting a sincere apology from the two brothers in law and it really meant a lot to OP. One of the brothers had to pay for both their bail and they were able to pay for the damages but not OP's legal fees. He assumes this only happened once they realized how f*cked they were
They basically were going to do anything and everything to make sure it goes away because they could lose their jobs as one of them has security clearance. They made an agreement for no contact and a lot of other legal stuff and things ended up working out ok. The actual break in event was a mess for OP as he was away with his wife’s family and didn’t have their phones on them for a bit.
One of the two families ended up having their truck repossessed and had to pay to break their lease on their SUV. They were $125k in debt on high interest credit cards, no home equity and two personal loans that were probably under false pretenses to begin with
The dad refused to help but the mom eventually caved. The parents had no house payments and lived off social security and pensions with a small emergency fund. That sister finally got to them, they ended up needing to borrow a car from them that could barely hold them and their three kids and the parents were paying for their groceries and the car insurance
They also filed for Class 7 bankruptcy and technically have nothing at stake if they break the agreement, so he is hoping they don't end up reaching out
The other brother-in-law also lives separately from his wife and kids because he is done with that family dynamic which I honestly don't blame. That sister was the one pressuring him to do everything and never wanted any part in it.
He is finally able to go there worry-free and his parents have also enjoyed it. It seems it is all behind him now
I tried the best I could to sum it up and left out some other details like meetings with his lawyer and the DA's office up at the house, but that is essentially what happened.
Me after reading it:

Personal Loan Pitfalls to Avoid in 2025
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/12506779231cb4ca812a9c190d8ac871/6e2471b8ee038379-fe/s400x600/a11f1b95928c96c8e52943cac59e84c9cc46105c.jpg)
A personal loan can be a great financial tool when used wisely, offering quick access to funds for emergencies, home renovation, education, or debt consolidation. However, many borrowers make avoidable mistakes that lead to higher costs, financial stress, and repayment issues.
To ensure you make the most of a personal loan in 2025, let’s explore the common pitfalls to avoid and the best strategies to manage your loan effectively.
🔗 Looking for a Personal Loan? Apply Here: Check Personal Loan Options
1. Borrowing More Than You Can Afford
One of the biggest mistakes borrowers make is taking a loan amount higher than their repayment capacity.
✔ Solution: Always assess your finances and ensure your EMIs do not exceed 30-40% of your monthly income.
🔗 Check Affordable Loan Options:
IDFC First Bank Personal Loan
Axis Bank Personal Loan
2. Ignoring Interest Rates & Loan Terms
Many borrowers overlook the actual cost of borrowing by not comparing interest rates, fees, and loan tenures.
✔ Solution: Compare interest rates, processing fees, and hidden charges before finalizing a lender.
🔗 Best Personal Loans with Low Interest Rates:
Bajaj Finserv Personal Loan
Tata Capital Personal Loan
3. Overlooking the Impact of a Low Credit Score
Your credit score directly affects your loan approval and interest rates. A low credit score can lead to loan rejection or higher interest costs.
✔ Solution: Maintain a credit score of 700+ by making timely payments and avoiding unnecessary debt.
4. Falling for Pre-Approved Loan Scams
Many fraudsters send fake pre-approved loan offers that require advance payments before disbursing the loan.
✔ Solution: Always apply for loans through official bank websites or verified financial institutions.
🔗 Apply for a Personal Loan from Trusted Lenders:
Axis Finance Personal Loan
5. Not Reading Loan Terms & Hidden Fees
Many borrowers focus only on the interest rate and ignore charges such as: ✔ Processing Fees ✔ Prepayment Penalties ✔ Late Payment Charges
✔ Solution: Read the loan agreement carefully and ask about hidden charges before signing.
6. Choosing a Longer Tenure Without Considering Interest Costs
A longer loan tenure reduces your EMI, but it significantly increases the total interest paid over time.
✔ Solution: Choose the shortest tenure possible that allows comfortable EMI payments.
7. Defaulting on EMI Payments
Missing EMIs can lead to: ❌ Penalty charges ❌ A lower credit score ❌ Legal action in extreme cases
✔ Solution: Set up auto-debit for EMIs and maintain an emergency fund for loan repayments.
🔗 Learn How to Set Up Auto-Debit for Loan EMIs: Check Loan Repayment Options
8. Using Personal Loans for Non-Essential Expenses
Avoid using personal loans for: ❌ Luxury vacations ❌ Gambling or risky investments ❌ Unplanned shopping sprees
✔ Solution: Use personal loans only for necessary expenses like medical emergencies, home improvement, or debt consolidation.
9. Not Exploring Balance Transfer Options
If you already have a high-interest personal loan, you can transfer it to another lender offering a lower interest rate.
✔ Solution: Consider a personal loan balance transfer to reduce your EMI burden.
🔗 Best Lenders for Balance Transfers:
InCred Personal Loan
10. Applying for Multiple Loans Simultaneously
Multiple loan applications can: ❌ Lower your credit score ❌ Make lenders view you as a high-risk borrower
✔ Solution: Compare lenders carefully and apply for only one loan at a time.
11. Not Checking Prepayment & Foreclosure Charges
Some lenders charge high penalties for prepayment or foreclosure, making early repayment expensive.
✔ Solution: Choose a lender that offers low or no prepayment penalties.
12. Relying on Unverified Lenders or Loan Apps
There are many fraudulent loan apps that charge excessive interest rates and misuse borrower data.
✔ Solution: Apply only through recognized banks, NBFCs, or verified fintech platforms.

Final Thoughts: Avoid These Mistakes for a Smart Borrowing Experience

New Year Reading for 2024! 🌟 - Capricorn
Preshuffle: There’s a “suffering in silence” vibe about you, what it’s regarding is different for everyone, but for many it’s loving actions that have been taken…feeling like maybe you were naive, over idealistic, didn’t see red flags for what they were, didn’t read a person/situation clearly, etc. Or it’s that same energy regarding anything really, what you’ve learned from this experience is a need to be very clear and plan your steps accordingly, communication plays a big part of this. No more confusion, that just makes things messy. You’re under a lot of pressure that you’re trying to plan your way through, or out of, and with that you have success attached - 6 Wands.
Meditation: Probably the funniest of the meditations I’ve had. There’s a meme going around about goats, I’ll include it at the end 🐐, and that’s what I’m seeing. Goats stuck on a cliff. The funny part is I’m having telepathy with these goats, and they’re like “I’m not moving, I’m fine, we good” and all of the goats around them bahhh in agreement. You’re not going anywhere but UP, like you’ll stay put for the end of time and that’s fine, you’re comfortable. Or you’re going to get a decent foothold and move up an inch, two, three, etc. Pretty self explanatory, your determination is admirable. Some of you could have funny or telepathic connections with different animals, like you know what they’re thinking/saying/wanting, and you’ll know if that’s you or not. Or this could be some kind of sign from Spirit coming around this year, more quirky relationships with critters, random ones even. Jupiter is moving to your 6th House, that could be why.
🔸 Whole of Your Energy: 4 Wands & King of Wands
Regarding: Ace of Pentacles rev
You seem eager to expand your horizons, but don’t have the option to, or the money. At least right away. Some of you could be looking to buy/sell a home, and either don’t have a big enough down payment, or the market is crap, you could be blocked by loans or something lingering on your credit report. Some of you may want to take a relationship to the next level, possibly moving in together, getting engaged, and similarly, you’re being delayed. Probably because of money or a lack of what’s out there, you’ll have no choice but to wait it out for awhile. Your energy being King of Wands is powerful, you’re ready to take charge of your life and make 👏 shit 👏 happen 👏 and Spirit’s sitting you in the time-out chair instead. That could also be your partner’s energy, could be a fiery personality that’s used to things working out for them, whereas you’re chuckling in the corner because it never works that way with you.
Capricorn has the long climb from the bottom to the top, you’re used to setbacks and discipline, saving money and being mindful of budgets & what’s possible…logically. Whether by force or by choice, you’re going to have to “hang in there and be patient” - Temperance. That could apply to your temper too, if your partner tends to spend/lose money on things you don’t see as important. For some, these may be repairs that are needed, and there’s a financial crunch dealing with it, or a slow build towards “more”, but it’s going to take some time. It’s possible you’re missing out on something NOW related, but it’s probably for the best, you need more time to find something stable & worthwhile. Could be a home, job, relationship, but if it’s for you, it’s for YOU, there’s no “missing” things. With that, your career is looking good, and Growth is attached to this, it all looks very positive - maybe just not as fast as you want it to be. Anything/everything, the year is taking a year, go figure 😇 You got The Merchant, someone else got that too…I think Aqua? Maybe Libra. It’s about balance, giving what you’re receiving, fair trade, fair exchange, goods & services for coins, if the balance is off - then you worry about how to resolve that or put it right again. That mirrors Temperance as well. Spending vs saving is probably at the forefront of a lot of Cap’s minds, you seem to have a particular goal in mind. A home or something to do with one, for many of you.
Main Oracle:
19 Growth
Feel open, willing, and proud of your desire to explore new opportunities for self-development.
🔸 Character Card: The Merchant ⚖️
Coins exchange hands, deals are struck, you are a friendly character with confidence that what you have to offer is worth what you ask for in return, it’s a fair exchange. You have plenty to offer and it’s good to remind yourself of that, take note of all you have, and if you’re getting a bad deal - “raise your prices”…or move somewhere that will appreciate what you’re offering. - a move could be literal there
🔸 Relationship: 3 Cups & 5 Cups rev
Regarding: Knight of Swords
I can’t tell if the drama will be within the connection or some outside party, family, friend, work drama, idk. There will be a disappointing situation that causes some upset, or there has been already in the past, but the two of you are going to communicate through all of your worries, issues, fears, anxieties, and eventually overcome these. 3 Cups is celebrations & reunions, 5 Cups rev is healing from disappointing situations, so whatever the two of you have been through, it looks like where it’s headed is really positive. There are two threes here, it’s possible some outside party causes drama between you in the first place. 6 Wands and teamwork are where this is headed, overcoming any issues, problems, worries or setbacks, it’s going to turn out for the best. Communication is the best way forward. Introspection is placed on Couples & Singles both, instinctively you’re going to know what to do, and if you don’t, quiet the world around you down for a little while and think on it, go within.
Love Oracle:
67 Introspection
Introspection is often necessary to deepen our awareness of the unity and divinity of life.
🔸 Singles: 2 Swords & King of Pentacles
Regarding: 6 Wands
For some there are literally two people here, and indecision between which one is the right one. King of Wands shows up again here, could be mirroring the initial energy. You could be with this person, possibly even live with them, when in walks your soulmate, and there’s a lot of inner chaos involved with that. For some, there is simply a King of Wands, could be fire or that’s how they present themselves/act. Charming, popular, attractive, knows how to get what they want, happy to direct or take the lead on things, pursues you 💯 But are they your King of Pentacles? *Can* they be that person? Is it all passion, no substance? Some of you are just looking for one and attracting the other - confused as to how you keep doing this, or what you really want. You’re definitely going to have a moment of shocking realization, it feels like a good one, could be love at first sight or something, or a sudden knowing, but this too will turn out for the best - no matter which lane you’re choosing. Introspection is also needed here, time alone, don’t listen to any of these Kings or anyone else, this is your decision.
I pulled a character card for the “right” choice, and got The Botanist - which is almost a mirror of The Empress. They could have children, want children, are someone you could imagine having children with. They are a nurturer, what they cultivate grows and becomes beautiful, they take a seed and turn it into a tree, very creative, domestic & “mothering” energy. Or you literally have their kids, could be that too. Some of you may have a pregnancy. If not, if that happened, who would you want? Or do you want this and someone else doesn’t - because there’s your answer. For many I’m getting you’re more this Empress energy, who values that about you, and helps nurture it to grow even more? Meaning who can you relax with, feel secure, be vulnerable 💯 that’s a big one for Capricorns. This could be saying ask your mother, she’ll tell you who is right 😆
🔸 Career: The Sun & Page of Cups
Regarding: 4 Pentacles
You’re staying right where you are and it’s probably going to work out well for you, at least at some point this year, you’re going to be recognized in some way. It may be small, a Page isn’t the biggest thing, maybe a mention in a newsletter, a small bonus, potential overtime is likely for hourly workers, word spreading via advertisement or even friend of a friend for those working in home businesses - also possible with the initial energy. There is growth and it is positive, but you’re also going to be working your butt off - 8 & 7 Pentacles, so whatever you’re getting back is well deserved. Is it *enough*? Is the question. The Merchant in you will always have that on your mind. 4 Pentacles shows you focused on saving whatever you do get, budgeting and being pretty frugal, probably because you have to be. You could feel pretty negative about the exchange and whether it’s worth it at times, your effort is shown by 8 & 7, but you’re only getting 4…and a Page, that could be something worth discussing, interest in a higher position perhaps, or just letting it be known you’re ready to expand when the time comes…there are delays with that. The Sun is promotion, attention, being recognized, it’s possible 💯 Every row is the same, with time & effort things are going to work out for you, no matter which lane we’re talking about here.
🔸 What needs to be left behind in 2023: 5 Wands, 3 Wands & 3 Pentacles
Regarding: 7 Wands
Competition, arguments, defensive energy, either acting like someone’s opponent or expecting others to act like yours, this year you’re about moving away from any drama in favor of cooperation (also your oracle card here), and teamwork. Merchant mirrors this 6 Pentacles clarifying, both have scales, you do need to weigh and balance your effort with everyone else’s, everything should be pretty fair, but I don’t see it *not* being fair, generally. If it’s not, then you know and you can either address it or move on from this person/situation, but for the most part I see people in your corner willing to support you…you just may not feel like they are, or haven’t felt their support, it hasn’t been obvious to you. You shouldn’t fight for someone to cooperate with you either, if they don’t then they don’t, now you know. Give them a chance, bring it up, communicate, and they’ll either meet your energy or not, it’s not battle-worthy, and no one is more important or better than another, no one contributes or puts in more effort than another. What that is specifically in your life will differ for all of you, you’re about balance this year, possibly mending fences with people you were competitive or defensive with, not everyone but some - Temperance. Calm, peaceful, working out differences and combing contributions into a whole situation that’s pleasing for everyone, and it’s not just you doing it either, it’s everyone, or byeeee.
444 may show work/home imbalance, or issues within the family, this needs introspection into your own grudges & negative perceptions, what you’re holding onto, maybe learned habits & behaviors inherited from older family members. Considering not just your viewpoints, but theirs, and whether or not it’s possible to bridge the gap between them.
3333 is a reunion & celebration you’ve been hoping for in a love relationship, could be with friends or family, a party, a holiday, etc., you’ve been hoping and waiting to cooperate with these people and it’s looking like you will 💜
6666 shows victory in any relationship once you move away from conflict & defensive energy, towards one that is more balanced & equally yolked, appreciating each other and helping out, enjoying everyone around you, whether it’s family, friends, coworkers, neighbors, partners, any/all of them. Mar 21 - Venus conj Saturn Pis - love & boundaries go hand in hand
Mar 25 - Lunar Eclipse in Lib - 10th 🔨
Apr 01 - Mercury retrogrades Ari - 4th 🏡 issues surrounding home & family could pop up, you may be spending more time with them and be caught up in a happy nostalgia, or get in touch with family you haven’t seen in awhile
Apr 08 - Solar Eclipse in Ari - continued lessons from the nodes throughout this year, issues between masculine/feminine likely, father/mother, action/reception, others/self
Apr 24 - Mercury direct
May 18 - Venus conj Uranus & Sun conj Jupiter, all in Taurus - 5th 🎉, some of you could hear of a pregnancy (possibly your own), win some money or a contest/game of some kind, gamble successfully, cash out on an investment or get incredibly lucky with money, if you have kids they could be winning something, it’s a great time to play the lottery
May 25 - Jupiter enters Gem - 6th 🤒🐶, not the greatest or worst place for Jupiter to be, health issues could be magnified or brought to attention, it’s not a traumatic placement, but it “expands” what it touches. It’s easy to gain weight at this time, overdo it on medicines or substances, even exercise, make sure you’re drinking your water and staying balanced. You could be blessed with a new furry friend, or notice that animals seem to be drawn to you, relationships with coworkers are positive
May 29 - Mars conj Chiron Ari @ 22’ - 4th 🏡 addressing pain or wounds related to family, 22’ is a “kill or be killed” placement, an argument could turn vicious, even violent, or positively, if one has already existed there may be steps taken to work on the pain that’s been caused - healing this wound

May not involve you at all but a partner vs. family.
Aug 04 - Mercury retrogrades Vir-Leo - 9th 😇 & 8th ️ could see a resurgence of past contacts, ex’s, old friends, anything deemed “lost” at any time may come back up for review & new understanding or awareness, could receive some kind of spiritual messages from passed on loved ones, traveling is not the best idea right now
Aug 19 - Venus Vir opposes Saturn Pis & Jupiter Gem squares both - T square of 9th 😇, 3rd 🗣️, and 6th 🤒🐶 again travel is highlighted, whether near or far, as not being the best idea throughout the month, could be relating to health issues, or you may need to travel to see someone because of health issues, you could hear news from a distance about health issues, or may be learning about health generally and old beliefs contradict this new information, causing frustration, someone close to you may have to move, a sibling, coworker, or mentor, some of you could be traveling long distances for school or some kind of training thing for work
Aug 27 - Mercury direct Leo
Sept 01 - Pluto enters Cap (last time) - 1st 🫵
Sept 16 - Venus Lib opposes Chiron Ari @ 22’ - 10th 🔨 and 4th 🏡- not a fan of the degree being 22’, involves or addresses pain with parents, gender roles/tradition, home vs work, and again 22’ is not the degree you want to keep seeing with heart centered things like family. It is a Capricorn degree, hopefully that lessens its weight a little bit in your world/situation
Sept 17 - Partial Lunar Eclipse Pis - 3rd 🗣️, preparing for the nodes to shift next year
Oct 02 - Solar Eclipse Lib - 10th 🔨
Nov 19 - Pluto enters Aqu (for good) - 2nd 💰 you’re freeeeee 🥳 how has the last 15 years been?
Nov 25 - Mercury retrogrades Sag - 12th 😵💫 it’s a good time to pull back, relax, rejuvenate, practice mental & emotional wellness, process how far you’ve come and everything you’ve accomplished in the last decade+, past contacts may pop back in, possibly just in dreams or your subconscious, it’s a good time for a personal review to lay things to rest
Dec 06 - Mars retrogrades Leo - 8th ☠️ could see you feeling a little insecure, lacking confidence, again people could come back, this time ex’s are highlighted, along with relationships that were “dead” or lost to you, take care with how you handle these, there’s an energy of being tested right as you begin to relax, don’t be fooled, especially with money, some of you could be dealing with a loss of some kind, and will need to take a time out to handle whatever is involved with this, breakups often happen with this transit…but could be temporary, it’s the retrograde way, be careful of inflated egos, control & power dynamics
Dec 15 - Mercury direct Sag
Dec 24 - Jupiter Gem squares Saturn Pis - 6th 🤒🐶 vs. 3rd 🗣️ could be a necessary doctor or veterinarian visit, coworkers that get on your nerves, maybe just talking about a health obsession or something you’ve learned, and the reception you get from others isn’t great, it doesn’t have to be a big thing just annoying

Scrooge and Isabel "What If" Fanfiction
Recently watched the 2022 version of "A Christmas Carol", and quite enjoyed it. It was animated, it had some rather cute and catchy songs, and the voice acting was sublime.
In fact, it inspired me to write this little fanfiction about a "what if" scenario if you will. (This is the one thing I wished would have happened in the movie - having Isabel come back to Scrooge. I know that's not how it goes in the novel or in any movie adaptation, but considering how much this movie changed from the novel or other movies, I think this would have been a welcomed change).
Give it a read if you enjoyed said iteration of "A Christmas Carol". It's not much, (and probably something I won't elaborate on), but I enjoyed writing it. ______________________________________________________________
Isabel Fezziwig walked about the streets of London, toward a familiar establishment.
She had walked this path many times before…and she knew that she would continue to do so again and again.
She was set in her ways, and nothing would detour her from this tradition.
As the middle aged woman neared the shop front, she kept walking (slowly) - she knew it would never change. Forever, it would be known as "Scrooge and Marley". As with every passing, her heart skipped a beat or two. Inside, the love of her life sat, hating the world and everyone in it…including her, she knew.
Isabel couldn't blame Ebenezer for his feelings toward her - she had been the one to end their relationship after all. However, every time she passed by his place of work, she hoped that she'd once again see the man that she had fallen in love with…but, alas, that was never the case.
She frowned. How she wished that she could have moved on from him - she had intended to, and had had plenty of men who attempted to be her suitors, but she had never allowed them the luxury of her heart…because, she was in love with someone else.
She had come to know quite well the man that Ebenezer had become - a miser would be the kindest way to describe him. It had been Christmas time when her own actions had caused him grief, but she also knew that the season was hard for him for many other reasons - he lost his business partner, Jacob Marley, a little over seven years ago, and he had lost his sister, Jen, many years prior to that tragedy even.
Truly, while Christmas was a season of joy to so many, it was a time of strife for Ebenezer.
Isabel couldn't fault him for feeling ill of the holiday, as it had come and gone with many woes for him…but, how she hoped that a miracle would happen that would allow him to open his shut up heart, and embrace all the good it had to offer as well.
As the woman neared the shop, it looked…different somehow. It almost seemed…warmer? Ebenezer had never been affected by the cold, so his business was usually just as bristle, but now- As she glanced into the window, the place was brighter due to a giant fire being lit in the background. It appeared tidier as well - no longer were the desks stacked with bills or signed agreements for loans.
It hit Isabel, that perhaps this was no longer "Scrooge and Marley". Could it be that the love of her life had passed, and in doing so, the great establishment that he helped to build was no longer here?
She quickly glanced up at the sign atop the front doorway: "Scrooge and…Cratchit"? Old Marley's name had been taken down and replaced! Never in her wildest dreams would she have thought that someone could have replaced Ebenezer's partner! He had valued Jacob Marley more so than anyone in the world…including her!
Isabel once again glanced inside…but, Ebenezer was no where to be found at the moment. Instead, a younger man - probably about the age Ebenezer had been when training under Marley - sat at a desk, quill in hand, and jotting down something or other. Could this person be the "Cratchit" that she had seen upon the sign? She wasn't certain, but she did know Ebenezer wasn't one to employ more than he needed at his business, as it would be a "…waste of money". As such, this was the only conclusion that she could come to.
She approached the front door, made to grasp the handle…but, stopped. She was nervous - too nervous to enter. There were too many "what if's" in her mind. What if Ebenezer had truly passed, and this new person merely kept his name upon the door in "fond" remembrance, (much like her love had done with Marley's name). Even if things seemed different, what if Ebenezer hadn't changed at all? What if-
"Pardon me, please."
That voice was very familiar to Isabel.
The woman rotated slowly around, and was met with the eyes of her true love. And the same could perhaps be said for the man before her, as his eyes went wide at the sight of her. "Isabel?"
Her voice got caught in her throat. There stood the love of her life, and he was seemingly…different, (just like his business). She couldn't place what exactly at the moment, but she could just feel that he was not the man that he had been for many, many years.
"Hello, Ebenezer…"

The Ultimate Guide to Navigating Payday Loans in Canada Like a Pro
Payday loans have become a common financial tool for many Canadians, providing a way to access quick cash when needed. However, understanding how to navigate payday loans like a pro is essential to avoid pitfalls and make the most of this financial option. In this comprehensive guide, we'll walk you through everything you need to know about payday loans in Canada.
What Are Payday Loans?
Before delving into the nuances of payday loans, it's essential to understand what they are. A payday loan is a short-term, small-dollar loan designed to provide immediate funds to borrowers who are facing unexpected expenses or financial emergencies. These loans typically need to be repaid on the borrower's next payday.
The Pros of Payday Loans
Payday loans can offer several advantages, making them an attractive option for many Canadians:
1. Quick Access to Funds
One of the primary benefits of payday loans is the speed at which you can access the funds. In many cases, you can apply for a payday loan online or in person and receive the money within hours.
2. No Credit Check
Payday lenders often do not perform a traditional credit check, making payday loans accessible to individuals with poor credit or no credit history.
3. Simple Application Process
The application process for payday loans is straightforward and typically requires minimal documentation. This simplicity is especially helpful during financial emergencies.
4. No Collateral Required
Unlike some other types of loans, payday loans do not require collateral. You won't need to risk your assets to secure the funds.
The Cons of Payday Loans
While payday loans have their advantages, they also come with some disadvantages to consider:
1. High Interest Rates
Payday loans are associated with high interest rates and fees. The annual percentage rate (APR) for payday loans in Canada can be extremely high, making them an expensive form of borrowing.
2. Short Repayment Terms
Payday loans typically have very short repayment terms, often requiring full repayment within two weeks. This can lead to financial strain for some borrowers.
3. Risk of Debt Cycle
Due to the high cost and short repayment terms, some borrowers may find themselves trapped in a cycle of borrowing to repay previous loans, leading to a debt spiral.
How to Navigate Payday Loans Like a Pro
Now that you understand the pros and cons of payday loans, here's how to navigate them like a pro:
1. Assess Your Needs
Before applying for a payday loan, carefully assess your financial needs. Ensure that taking out a payday loan is the best solution for your situation.
2. Borrow Responsibly
Only borrow what you can comfortably repay on your next payday. Avoid the temptation to borrow more than you need, as this can lead to financial difficulties.
3. Compare Lenders
Shop around and compare different payday lenders. Look for lenders with transparent terms and reasonable fees. Read online reviews and ask for recommendations if necessary.
4. Understand the Terms
Thoroughly read and understand the terms and conditions of the loan agreement. Pay attention to interest rates, fees, and the repayment schedule.
5. Have a Repayment Plan
Before taking out a payday loan, have a clear plan for repaying it. Make sure you'll have the necessary funds available when the loan comes due.
6. Seek Financial Counseling
If you find yourself repeatedly relying on payday loans, consider seeking financial counseling or advice. A financial counselor can help you create a budget and explore other financial options.
In Conclusion
Payday loans can be a valuable resource during financial emergencies, but they come with risks. Navigating payday loans like a pro means understanding their advantages and disadvantages, borrowing responsibly, and having a clear repayment plan. By following these guidelines, you can make informed decisions regarding payday loans and avoid the potential pitfalls associated with this form of borrowing.

Introduction to Home Loan Documents
When you apply for a home loan, you will be required to provide a few documents to the lender. These documents are necessary to process your loan application and determine whether you are eligible for a home loan.
The most important document is your income tax returns. This document will be used to verify your income and employment history. Lenders will also require you to provide recent salary slips and Form 16.
You will also need to provide documentation of your assets and liabilities. This includes bank statements, investment account statements, and records of any outstanding debts. Lenders use this information to assess your financial stability and ability to repay a home loan.
Lastly, you will need to sign a loan application and disclosures. These documents state the terms of the loan and your rights as a borrower. Be sure to read these documents carefully before signing them.
Types of Home Loans
There are four main types of home loans: fixed rate, adjustable rate, government-backed, and jumbo.
Fixed-rate home loans have an interest rate that stays the same for the entire life of the loan. This makes budgeting easy because you know exactly how much your mortgage payment will be each month. Adjustable-rate mortgages (ARMs) have an interest rate that can change over time. The initial interest rate is usually lower than a fixed-rate mortgage, but it can increase or decrease depending on market conditions. Government-backed loans are guaranteed by the federal government and typically have lower interest rates and more favourable terms than conventional loans. Jumbo loans are for borrowers who need a loan amount that exceeds the limit for conforming loans.
Documents Required for Home Loan
The following is a list of documents that you will need to provide:
- Your most recent payslip
- Your last 3 months of bank statements
- Your tax returns for the last 2 years
- Proof of any other income such as investments or rental properties
- Your ID (driver's license, passport etc)
- Proof of address (utility bill, lease agreement, etc.)
- Your asset statement which lists all your property and savings
- Your liabilities statement which lists all your debts
- If you are self-employed, you will also need to provide business financials such as income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements
Without this documentation, it will be very difficult to get approved for a home loan. So, if you're planning on applying for a home loan, make sure that you have all your property and asset documentation in order!
Tips for Preparing Home Loan Documentation
Here are some tips to help you get started on the documentation process:
1. Gather all your personal identification, including your driver's license, passport, and birth certificate. You will also need to provide proof of your current address.
2. Collect financial documents such as bank statements, investment account statements, and tax returns. These will be used to verify your income and assets.
3. If you are self-employed, you will need to provide additional documentation such as business licenses and contracts.
4. Make sure all your documents are up-to-date and accurate. Incorrect or outdated information could delay the approval of your loan or result in a higher interest rate.
5. Once you have gathered all your documentation, make copies, and keep them in a safe place. You will need to provide these originals or copies when you apply for a home loan.
How to Organise the Home Loan Documentation?
Organising the home loan documentation can be a daunting task, but it is important to do to ensure a smooth and stress-free loan process. Below are some tips on how to organize home loan documentation:
1. Gather all documents - This includes your identification, income statements, asset statements, and any other required paperwork.
2. Create a filing system - This can be either physical or electronic, but it should be organized in a way that makes sense to you.
3. Keep track of deadlines - Make sure to note when each document is due and submit them in a timely manner.
4. Communicate with your loan officer - Stay in touch with your loan officer throughout the process and let them know if you have any questions or concerns.
Benefits of Having Your Home Loan Documentation in Order
When you're ready to buy a home, it's important to have your documentation in order. This will help the loan process go more smoothly and can potentially save you money.
Your credit score is one of the most important factors in getting a home loan. By ordering your credit report and score in advance, you can identify any potential red flags and take steps to improve your credit before applying for a loan.
It's also a good idea to have a solid understanding of your financial situation before starting the loan application process. This will help them determine how much of a loan you can afford.
Finally, having all your documentation in order shows that you're serious about buying a home and are prepared to move forward with the loan process. It may even give you an edge over other buyers who haven't taken the time to get their paperwork in order.
Conclusion -
Applying for a home loan can be an intimidating and overwhelming process. We hope that this guide has given you a better understanding of the documents required for your home loan application so that you can prepare them in advance and avoid any delays or unnecessary complications during the process. With all the paperwork taken care of, you'll be able to focus on finding the perfect home to invest in!
When you apply for a home loan, you will be required to provide a few documents to the lender. These documents are necessary to process your loan application and determine whether you are eligible for a home loan.
The most important document is your income tax return. This document will be used to verify your income and employment history. Lenders will also require you to provide recent pay stubs and W-2 forms.
