Return Faithless People
1 Elohim said, “If a man puts away his wife, and she goes from him and becomes another man’s, does he return to her again? Would not that land be made greatly unclean? But you have committed whoring with many lovers. And would you return to Me?” declares יהוה.
2 “Lift up your eyes to the bare heights and see: where have you not lain with men? Besides the ways you have sat for them like an Araian in the wilderness. And you made the land unclean with your whorings and your evil.
3 “Therefore the showers have been withheld, and there has been no latter rain. You have had a whore’s forehead, you refuse to be ashamed.
4 “Shall you not from now on cry to Me, ‘My father, You are the guide of my youth?
5 ‘Does one bear a grudge forever? Does one keep it to the end?’ See, you have spoken and done the evils that you could.”
6 And יהוה said to me in the days of Yoshiyahu the sovereign, “Have you seen what backsliding Yisra’ĕl has done? She has gone up on every high mountain and under every green tree, and there committed whoring.
7 “And after she had done all these, I said ‘Return to Me.’ But she did not return. And her treacherous sister Yehuḏah saw it.
8 “And I saw that for all the causes for which backsliding Yisra’ĕl had committed adultery, I had put her away and given her a certificate of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Yehuḏah did not fear, but went and committed whoring too.
9 “And it came to be, through her frivolous whoring, that she defiled the land and committed adultery with stones and wood.
10 “And yet for all this her treacherous sister Yehuḏah has not turned to Me with all her heart, but falsely,” declares יהוה.
11 And יהוה said to me, “Backsliding Yisra’ĕl has shown herself more righteous than treacherous Yehuḏah.
12 “Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, ‘Return, O backsliding Yisra’ĕl,’ declares יהוה, ‘I shall not look on you in displeasure, for I am kind,’ declares יהוה, ‘and I do not bear a grudge forever.
13 ‘Only, acknowledge your crookedness, because you have transgressed against יהוה your Elohim, and have scattered your ways to strangers under every green tree, and you have not obeyed My voice,’ declares יהוה.
14 “Return, O backsliding children,” declares יהוה, “for I shall rule over you, and shall take you, one from a city and two from a clana, and shall bring you to Tsiyon.
15 “And I shall give you shepherds according to My heart, and they shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.
16 “And it shall be, when you have increased, and shall bear fruit in the land in those days,” declares יהוה, “that they no longer say, ‘The ark of the covenant of יהוה.’ Neither would it come to heart, nor would they remember it, nor would they visit it, nor would it be made again.
17 “At that time Yerushalayim shall be called the throne of יהוה, and all the nations shall be gathered to it, to the Name of יהוה, to Yerushalayim, and no longer walk after the stubbornness of their evil heart.
18 “In those days the house of Yehuḏah shall go to the house of Yisra’ĕl, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given as an inheritance to your fathers.
19 “But I said, ‘How would I put you among the children and give you a pleasant land, a splendid inheritance of the hosts of nations?’ “And I said, ‘Call Me, “My Father,” and do not turn away from Me.’
20 “But indeed as a wife betrays her husband, so have you betrayed Me, O house of Yisra’ĕl,” declares יהוה.
21 A voice was heard on the bare heights, weeping supplications of the children of Yisra’ĕl, because they have perverted their way, they have forgotten יהוה their Elohim.
22 “Return, O backsliding children, I shall make your backslidings cease.” “See, we have come to You, for You are יהוה our Elohim.
23 “Truly, delusion comes from the high hills, the noisy throng on the mountains. Truly, in יהוה our Elohim is the deliverance of Yisra’ĕl.
24 “For shame has devoured the labour of our fathers from our youth, their flocks and their herds, their sons and their daughters.
25 “We shall lie down in our shame, while our reproach covers us. For we have sinned against יהוה our Elohim, we and our fathers, from our youth even to this day, and have not obeyed the voice of יהוה our Elohim.” — Jeremiah 3 | The Scriptures 1998 (ISR 1998) The Scriptures 1998 Copyright © 1998 Institute for Scripture Research. Height Growth Supplement in Mumbai: Grow Plus – A Comprehensive Review
Tumblr media
Height growth supplements have become increasingly popular, especially among those looking to maximize their natural growth potential. One of the leading products on the market in Mumbai is Grow Plus, a well-known supplement claimed to enhance height growth. This blog will break down what Grow Plus is, how it works, and its effectiveness based on user feedback and research.
What is Grow Plus?
Grow Plus is a height growth supplement that promises to aid in height increase, particularly during the growing years of adolescence and early adulthood. It contains a blend of vitamins, minerals, and herbal ingredients designed to stimulate growth hormones and improve bone health.
Key Ingredients:
Calcium: Supports bone density and strength.
Vitamin D: Enhances calcium absorption and bone growth.
Zinc: Promotes overall growth and immune function.
Herbal Extracts: Some formulas include natural herbs believed to stimulate growth hormones.
Protein: Supports muscle growth and tissue repair, which are critical during growth spurts.
How Does Grow Plus Work?
Tumblr media
Grow Plus aims to stimulate the natural processes in the body that contribute to height increase. Here's how it works:
Boosts Growth Hormone Production: Certain ingredients in Grow Plus may stimulate the pituitary gland to release more growth hormones, which are crucial for height increase.
Enhances Bone Health: By providing calcium and vitamin D, Grow Plus supports the development of stronger and longer bones.
Improves Nutritional Intake: Many people may not consume the necessary nutrients required for growth through their daily diet. Grow Plus bridges these nutritional gaps, ensuring your body has everything it needs to grow optimally.
Support During Adolescence: Growth spurts are common during adolescence, and supplements like Grow Plus are believed to accelerate this process by providing the body with the extra nutrients it needs during this critical period.
Is Grow Plus Effective?
While individual results may vary, many users in Mumbai and across India have reported positive effects from taking Grow Plus. The effectiveness of the supplement largely depends on factors such as age, genetics, and lifestyle habits.
Factors Influencing the Effectiveness:
Age: Grow Plus is most effective for individuals between the ages of 12-21, where the body is naturally more responsive to growth stimulation.
Diet and Exercise: A balanced diet and regular exercise can complement the supplement, making it more effective.
Genetics: While supplements can support growth, genetics still play a significant role in determining a person’s final height.
User Feedback:
Positive Reviews: Many users have noticed an improvement in their growth rate after consistently using Grow Plus for several months. They reported better posture, increased height, and improved bone health.
Skeptical Reviews: Some users did not experience significant height gains but did report feeling more energetic and healthier overall, thanks to the nutritional benefits of the supplement.
Pros and Cons of Grow Plus
Pros:
Natural Ingredients: Grow Plus contains vitamins, minerals, and herbs that are beneficial to the body.
Bone Strengthening: Even if it doesn’t dramatically increase height, the supplement contributes to stronger bones, reducing the risk of fractures.
Improved Overall Health: The blend of nutrients can enhance overall health and energy levels.
Cons:
Varied Results: Not everyone will experience noticeable height increases, especially if past the growing age.
Requires Commitment: Supplements like Grow Plus need to be taken consistently for several months to see potential results.
Genetics Play a Big Role: Supplements alone cannot overcome genetic limitations on height.
Where to Buy Grow Plus in Mumbai?
Grow Plus is widely available in Mumbai, both in local health stores and online platforms. Always ensure you purchase from a reputable seller to avoid counterfeit products.
Conclusion:
Grow Plus may be a beneficial supplement for those looking to support their height growth naturally. While it may not work miracles, especially for those who have already passed their growth phase, it can still contribute to better bone health and overall vitality. Combining Grow Plus with a nutritious diet, regular exercise, and healthy lifestyle habits can enhance its effects.

4 Ways Fresh Fire Transforms Your Spirit: How to Walk in Last Days Power
The power of the Spirit is called for in times of crisis, compromise, and opportunity.
The power of God is revealed when the Person or the work of the Lord is threatened.
A baptism is required when normal efforts fall well short of the fueling-charge needed. A believer can be overcome by desires; a leader can neglect his gift; a movement can compromise its call; prayer can become a ritual. Above all, when God is preparing to open a vast door of opportunity, He seeks to empower us to seize it for Christ’s glory.
How can we turn the shallow converts in our movement who are full of birth defects into warriors, except by the power of the Holy Spirit? How can we stem the tide of spurious and carnal teachers, except by a general baptism of fire that purifies the appetites of Charismatics?
Does anyone really believe that this horrible competition and outright contention between “Spirit-filled” churches will go away if we all have coffee together?
Until these leaders are engulfed in new flames of the Holy Spirit, they will not progress. It is by the Holy Spirit that a preacher’s heart is freed of hurt and pride and is restored to the childlike joy of advancing the Kingdom with a pure love for believers.
The fire will burn off the carnal appendages that have attached themselves to the work of God and are choking our life. The fire will awaken appetites for holiness, greatness, and compassion.
Can you simply admit your need for a new overflow of Spirit power? So much frustration will end; so much pain will be prevented. Fresh fire was a recurring theme of Paul, the apostle. He, himself, received it time after time. One very clear example is when the apostle was challenged by Elymas. Paul was suddenly filled with the Spirit:
Then Saul, who also is called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked intently at him [Elymas] and said, “O full of all deceit and all fraud, you son of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease perverting the straight ways of the Lord? And now, indeed, the hand of the Lord is upon you, and you shall be blind, not seeking the sun for a time.” And immediately a dark mist fell on him, and he went around seeking someone to lead him by the hand. Then the proconsul believed, when he saw what had been done, being astonished at the teaching of the Lord (Acts 13:9-12 NKJV).
Now let’s look at two prayers of Paul that are unmistakable prayers for deeper baptism of God:
For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height—to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen (Ephesians 3:14-21 NKJV).
For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy (Colossians 1:9-11 NKJV).
These prayers reveal the benefits of added outpourings.
Paul speaks of power to do God’s work, being filled with the knowledge of God, mighty strength, and joy.
This bears out the four characteristics of fire:
It purifies
It fuels
It illuminates
It warms
Let’s examine these vital effects of fire:
1. The purifying work of fresh fire.
The most outlandish error of Charisma was to overreact to early Pentecostal legalism. We went from no makeup to critical mascara. Holiness is not legalism; legalism is fear and hatred garbed in rules. It judges by outward appearance and afflicts the flesh in order to gain power. This is a corruption of the Cross of Christ. Holiness is born in love! It is the behavior of royalty. True holiness transcends the flesh by gracing the heart with a delight in the commands of the Lord. Holiness is the new affection of a new heart.
Fads in Charisma have refused to elevate the believer to a higher plane; it chose, rather, to lower God.
The vehicle for this deception was a misapplication of the doctrine of justification.
Yes, we are justified by the blood of Christ at rebirth, but this dealt directly with what we had done. It now takes the daily work of the Cross to deal with what we are.
Teachers began to espouse the idea that we already had privileges and authority and were innately blessed because we were born again. We had only to release our inheritance and awaken to the already completed work.
Sanctification dropped out of our vocabulary.
Character development was, at best, peripheral.
This error took one further step by redefining success in terms of church, size, money, possessions, and visibility—instead of humility, compassion, and a Christlike spirit.
The first touch of fire purifies. False motives for serving God disintegrate; counterfeit faith goes up in smoke. Hay, wood, and stubble projects are consumed. No other work of darkness is more lethal than the insidious pride that lies to us about our true condition.
Samson “knew not that the Spirit had left him.” He rose up as at other times expecting victory, only to embrace Philistine ridicule and death.
The New Testament Samson was the church of Laodicea. First, the Spirit exposed their condition: “Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked” (Revelation 3:17 NKJV).
Then fresh fire was prescribed.
I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see (Revelation 3:18 NKJV).
But what was their greatest danger? They were in the midst of moral disaster and knew it not!
This new flame, this next dose of raw Holy Spirit power, is meant to launch our next level of conformity to the image of Christ.
The furnace is our friend. We emerge from its holy work a vessel unto honor. God will find important things for a holy person to do! He will delight in them; He will joy over them!
Satan’s knees just buckled at the thought that you might surrender to this purifying work of fresh fire.

2. Fire illuminates.
Stephen had the face of an angel. With an angry mob poised to pound the life out of him, a miracle happened. He was filled with the Spirit and saw Jesus standing at the Father’s right hand. Death lost its fearful advantage; pain was rendered inconsequential. The vision of Christ lifted Stephen to a plane of glory that robbed the murderers of satisfaction. All that was left for them to do was to stone the wrapping that he was discarding.
This was a crisis baptism! It has been the divine gift of godly warriors and holy martyrs throughout the ages.
And Elisha prayed, and said, “Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha (2 Kings 6:17 NKJV).
The servant saw innumerable fiery chariots poised to vaporize any threat to the anointed. Nothing influences our behavior like our perspective. What we see is the thrust of our life.
Fire carries light. Fresh fire carries divine light. Scales fall off our view of things; and to see rightly, is to empower to live rightly.
The fire, which is from God, awakens the nominal believer. They are elevated to being seated with Christ in heavenly places (see Ephesians 2:6). What an astonishing difference when you gaze at life from this vantage point!
You make excellent choices. The looming problems of your life become insignificant compared to the vista that floods your soul! The walls of doubt become speed bumps.
You can’t compromise because you see the glory that will be revealed in you. You walk holy because you see it is making you like Christ. You take hold of mighty projects because you can see the completion of them.
Your passion for the lost becomes gigantic because you see their dreaded state. You are given the gift of sight! Eyes of the Spirit! By this fire’s light you become a mighty warrior.
As mentioned previously, how significant that as David’s mighty men were being described for their special strength, the weapon of the men of Issachar was: “They knew the times and what Israel should do.” Their perception was their weapon!
So will the light of the Spirit give us sight in this present darkness. We will forgive our enemies, for we see their offenses from heavenly ramparts. We work with fellow soldiers because the vision of unity pervades us. We march with swords drawn and placed at the very throat of Satan, because we see his doom is sure.
3. Fire fuels.
“…according to the power that works in us” (Ephesians 3:20 NKJV).
Change requires power. You may want to change; you may possess the will to change and the opportunity. Yet the desired alteration escapes you. We are prisoners of a force greater than we know!
Even when all the elements for transformation seem present, nothing will happen unless a vital ingredient is present.
It is that irreplaceable element that converts good intentions into resurrection living. It is that fuel that fires up the engine of lasting change.
It is a wonder that the same fire than can destroy can be utilized as fuel.
But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you (Romans 8:11 NKJV).
For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure (Philippians 2:13 NKJV).
Sometimes progress is so hard to come by that radical action must be taken. Our inner self must be jump-started; reemerging lusts must be overpowered; and extra force must be applied when the weight of daily life threatens our advancement. The fresh fire experience is a power surge that animates failing limbs, weak knees, and a faltering spirit. But this fuel is so much more! The fire that I speak of imparts the energy to do the will of God!
Saul cowered before the destiny Samuel described for him. “How can I do this thing?” Saul asked. Hear the prophet’s resolute reply, “The Spirit of the Lord will come upon you, and you will be turned into another man” (1 Samuel 10:6 NKJV).
Fresh fire is no mere “clean up your act” encounter. Here is the fuel to fire up the engine.
Was it this infusion of dunamis that Daniel prophesied? “…the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits” (Daniel 11:32 NKJV).
Let the crowd become warriors and the faint a force. Let us embrace our launching from mere living, to multiple triumphs. Fresh fire is higher octane for a higher calling.
4. Fire warms.
“…The joy of the Lord is your strength” (Nehemiah 8:10 NKJV). A lifetime of study will not reveal the full weight of this statement!
Joy from God is our great distinction from the world. The pagan must have right circumstances to have right feelings. Remove possessions from the world of pagans and their life stops. For the lack of God they are bound to outer life support systems for satisfaction.
Curiously, the church forgets her first love so easily! You can tell when the level of the “oil of gladness” is low; it shows in the preaching. When pulpiteers heap perks onto the gospel to make it palatable to secular ears, it is because their own vision of Jesus has been tarnished. He is no longer all they need, so He is no longer all that they prescribe.
The reward of salvation is Jesus. He alone is the treasure in the field; He is the pearl of great price; He is the Person of wonder that “bids our sorrows cease,” as the beloved hymn tells us.
Jesus spoke and our parking lot became a garden; how soon we forget!
When Paul said, “I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content,” it was the fire of joy that elevated him to a higher awareness than his standard of living (see Philippians 4:11 NKJV).
The well of living water within us is our greatest protection. It keeps God’s commands in the proper context—light and reasonable!
Tell me if there is anything worse than the coldness of modern life. Natural love is gone, children are deemed disposable, and the grind of the workplace chews up hope.
The person without God has no refuge, no reason to keep trying. Daily they toy with various progressive forms of suicide.
The joy of the Lord is a force field that insulates against the destructive, draining spirit of this age. A layer of love keeps the infection of despair off us. “Godliness with contentment is great gain,” said the apostle Paul in 1 Timothy 6:6 (NKJV). Perhaps the greatest blend in a saint would be the combined zeal and flat-out-in-love-with-Jesus spirit of a young convert joined to the solid wisdom, strength, and experience of a veteran warrior!
These then are the four major effects that fresh fire will have on us.

How to get better: instructions for those who want to gain weight and improve their health
Tumblr media
How to understand that you don't weigh much
It is considered that a person is underweight if his body mass index is below 18.5 kg/m2.
To calculate BMI, use the following formula:
BMI = weight (kg) / height 2 (m) For example, if you weigh 60 kg at a height of 1.8 m, your BMI is 60 / (1,8 × 1,8) = 18,5. It turns out that you do not have a lack of weight, although you have come close to the limit of the norm.
But if your height is 1.7 m and your weight is 45 kg, then your BMI is 15.57 kg/m2, which indicates a clear body weight deficit.
Why weight loss is dangerous Society is now more concerned about the treatment of obesity, because this problem is much more common than excessive thinness.
However, a significant lack of weight and anorexia can be more dangerous than extra pounds.
Excessive thinness can cause several negative consequences at once.
Increases the risk of premature death People with a body mass index below 21 kg/m2 are more at risk of dying from cancer, cardiovascular, respiratory, mental and neurological diseases than those who weigh more.
After the age of 40, the life expectancy of underweight men is on average 4.3 years shorter, and of women 4.5 years shorter than that of people with a BMI within the normal range.
Increases vulnerability to infections Underweight children and adults are more likely to suffer from infectious diseases than people of normal weight.
Although much here also depends on the quality of nutrition, compliance with hygiene standards and the presence of concomitant diseases.
It has a negative effect on bone health in the elderly With age, bone density decreases, and underweight people are more at risk of suffering from fractures and osteoporosis.
Increases the risk of dental problems Korean scientists in a cohort study checked the data of 17 thousand people and found out that people with insufficient body weight are more at risk of losing their teeth.
Scientists have suggested that this is due to poor nutrition and a lack of essential amino acids and vitamins.
It can cause difficulties with conceiving a child in women Low fat percentage and hormonal disorders associated with it can cause problems with the menstrual cycle and fertility.
Increases the risk of developing dementia in old age The risk of senile dementia in people who are underweight is higher than in those who are normal or overweight.
Where does the lack of weight come from There are several reasons why you may suffer from a weight deficit.
Lack of calories in the diet The most obvious reason for weight loss is a lack of energy coming from food. It is easy to detect it. It is enough to calculate how many calories you need to consume, taking into account weight, height, age and level of physical activity.
You can use our calculator, and then at least roughly estimate your usual daily diet.
Impaired absorption of nutrients If you eat normally, but still do not gain weight, it is possible that the body simply cannot absorb nutrients.
This happens when:
-gluten intolerance, or celiac disease; -lactose intolerance; -short bowel syndrome after surgery to remove part of the small
-intestine; -Whipple's disease (a rare bacterial infection); -parasites, diarrhea and infectious diseases that last a long time; -chronic inflammation of the pancreas; -excessive use of laxatives. To find out if your body can absorb the necessary nutrients, contact your therapist or gastroenterologist.
The presence of diseases If you start losing weight without intentional changes in diet and physical activity, this may be a sign of the following diseases:
-depression; -psychological stress and anxiety; -eating disorders such as anorexia; -oncology; -an infection such as HIV; -a chronic disease, such as COPD or Parkinson's disease; -diabetes; -hyperthyroidism. Also, appetite may disappear due to taking medications. For example, drugs for chemotherapy and for the treatment of thyroid diseases.
Be sure to consult a therapist, even if you have no symptoms other than weight loss.
How to gain weight quickly and safely Find out the reason for low body weight First, determine what exactly caused the loss of kilograms. If it is anorexia, digestive disorders, or, for example, the same hyperthyroidism, simple methods will not work: body weight will not return to normal until you get rid of the underlying disease.
In order not to make a mistake, visit a therapist: he will conduct an examination, offer to take tests and help solve the problem or refer you to a specialized specialist.
If you are healthy and would just like to gain weight, proceed to the following points.
Increase the caloric content of your diet through healthy food To get better, it is worth increasing your daily energy consumption by 300-500 kcal.
Of course, it is much easier to do this at the expense of delicious and high-calorie fast food. For example, eat a bucket of ice cream or a pack of chips. But in the long run, such a diet will not add to your health.
Snacking on fast food can cause bloating and exhaustion, and regular consumption of highly processed and sugary foods can increase the risk of cardiovascular disease and diabetes.
Additional calories can be consumed from foods with lots of vitamins and minerals.:
-milk; -starchy vegetables; -avocado; -cream soups; -red meat; -juice; -cheese; -nuts and nut butter; -fatty fish; -protein shakes. In order not to have to greatly increase the portions, try to arrange 5-6 small meals during the day. For weight gain, this is better than 2-3 approaches to overflowing plates.
Add extra calories to your meals There are several ways to increase the nutritional value of dishes and at the same time make them even tastier:
-Use cheese, sour cream and sauces more often. Season vegetable dishes, add to omelets and side dishes. -Complement the desserts with nuts, granola, honey, pieces of fresh and dry fruits. -Cook cream soups instead of regular soups with clear broth. -Lean on potatoes — they contain a lot of carbohydrates, and there is also fiber, vitamins and minerals. -From drinks, give preference to whole milk, fruit and vegetable juices without added sugar. You can also try jelly, fruit drinks, smoothies and protein shakes. -Try healthy and nutritious snacks -Have snacks between meals. Here are some ideas for a quick meal:
-A mixture of nuts and dried fruits. -Protein bars. -Protein shake — ready-made or homemade. The latter can be made from milk, yogurt, cottage cheese, bananas and other ingredients. The recipes can be viewed here. -Sandwiches. For example, you can make toast with avocado and egg or make a quick snack of bread with peanut butter. -Apple slices with nut butter. Take measures to increase your appetite -Eating by force is a bad idea. Fortunately, you can increase your appetite in quite healthy and safe ways:
1.Do not drink before eating. Fullness of the stomach dulls appetite. Try not to drink water at least half an hour before meals. 2.Choose strength training. Working with resistance helps build muscle mass and suppresses appetite for a shorter period than cardio exercises. Choose traditional work with rest between sets — this mode has the least effect on appetite compared to circular and interval work. 3.Give up bad habits. Smoking accelerates metabolism and leads to weight loss, while alcohol negatively affects appetite and disrupts the absorption of nutrients. 4.Ask your doctor about medications and supplements. Appetite will help to increase the intake of fish oil, and in case of zinc and thiamine deficiency, supplements to replenish these substances. However, before buying dietary supplements, it is worth consulting with a specialist. 5.Use large plates. People eat less from small bowls and get saturated faster than when using large dishes. Perhaps by serving food on a large plate, you will be able to trick the brain and increase the amount you eat.

Travel agents lead pay rise league despite cost of living squeeze
PA Media
By Nicu Calcea and Kevin Peachey
BBC News
Travel agents recorded the biggest rise in pay last year, up 21% in a year, official data shows, with public relations directors and publicans next on the list.
Sports coaches saw the largest fall and, overall, UK workers saw earnings fail to keep pace with rising prices.
The average full-time worker’s annual wage was nearly £35,000 in April 2023, a rise of 5.8% on the previous year.
But the cost of living grew faster than wages over the same period.
That ate into workers’ spending power.
Rebound from Covid
Jobs, like travel agents and publicans, fared better than average, but that was likely to be part of a rebound after these roles were hit hard during Covid.
Their typical annual earnings were also still below the national average of all occupations.
Sean Tipton, from the travel agents trade body ABTA, said: “During the pandemic, the travel industry was by far the worst affected. Business fell through the floor. Over 100,000 people left the travel sector.”
When demand from holidaymakers surged back, there was a shortage of workers in the industry, so companies offered higher wages, he said. Higher numbers of bookings meant they had the funds to increase pay.
BBC News analysed the latest earnings figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) to see which professions have managed to beat rising inflation rates, and which have not.

Travel agents had the biggest pay rises, with the average wage going up by more than a fifth to around £29,600, but still below the national average of £35,000.
Public relations directors, publicans and directors have had pay bumps of more than 15% as well.
On the other hand, some jobs fared worse. Delivery operatives, interior designers and tax agents have had substantial pay cuts, even before accounting for inflation.
How to get a job: Six expert tips for finding work
What is the minimum wage and how much is it?
While these figures are less timely than the most up-to-date pay figures released by the ONS, they provide a more granular view of the labour market.
The average full-time worker in the UK was earning £34,963 in the year to March 2023, about £1,900 or 5.8% more than the previous year. The increase in hourly wages was the biggest since comparable records began in 1997 – but unlikely to be higher than during some earlier periods during, for example, the 1970s.
But the inflation figure, or the rate at which the cost of goods and services has increased, for the year April to April, was even higher at 7.8%.
This means that in real terms, wages fell by 1.9% for full-time workers, a sign of the continued cost of living squeeze.
These numbers will not reflect the easing of inflation and further wage rises since April, for which detailed data is not yet available. According to more recent figures from the ONS, pay has already overtaken inflation in June to August 2023.
The gender pay gap, which charts the hourly earnings of men and women, has barely changed in all major sectors between 2022 and 2023, although it has improved over time.
Over the last decade, the gender pay gap has fallen by about a quarter, reaching 7.7% for full-time workers by April 2023. However, it remains disproportionately high for workers aged 40 or over at 10.3%.
Wednesday’s figures also reveal that the proportion of low-wage earners, that is, people who earn below two-thirds of the average hourly earnings, is the lowest since comparable records began in 1997.
Tips for getting a pay rise
Choose the right time – Scheduling a talk in advance will allow you and your boss time to prepare, and means you’re more likely to have a productive conversation
Bring evidence – have a list of what you’ve achieved at work and how you’ve developed yourself
Be confident – Know your worth and don’t be shy about speaking up
Have a figure in mind – look at job adverts online to see the salaries for comparable jobs
Don’t give up – keep talking to your employer if it doesn’t work this time and if you can’t get what you want be prepared to look elsewhere

How to increase height after 21 for male naturally ?
Increasing height naturally after the age of 21 can be challenging since most of your height growth occurs during adolescence when your growth plates are still open. However, there are some lifestyle factors you can focus on to maximize your potential height:
Tumblr media
Proper Nutrition: Ensure you're getting a balanced diet rich in vitamins and minerals essential for bone health. Adequate intake of calcium, vitamin D, vitamin K, and protein is important. A diet rich in dairy products, leafy greens, and lean proteins can help.
Adequate Sleep: Aim for 7-9 hours of quality sleep per night. Growth hormone is released during deep sleep, and proper rest is crucial for overall health and growth.
Regular Exercise: Engage in activities that promote good posture and spine health, like swimming, yoga, and Pilates. Stretching exercises can help with flexibility and may contribute to an improved posture.
Maintain a Healthy Weight: Being underweight can stunt growth potential. Ensure you're maintaining a healthy weight for your age and body type.
Posture Correction: Pay attention to your posture. Slouching or poor posture can make you appear shorter than you actually are. Practice good posture habits in daily life.
Stay Hydrated: Proper hydration is essential for overall health, including bone health.
Avoid Smoking and Excessive Alcohol: Both of these can have negative effects on bone health.
Stress Management: Chronic stress can affect overall health and potentially hinder growth. Engage in stress-reduction techniques like meditation or deep breathing exercises.
Consult a Healthcare Professional: If you have concerns about your height, consider consulting a healthcare professional. They can assess your individual situation and provide guidance.
Remember that genetics play a significant role in determining your height, and there are limits to how much you can naturally increase your height as an adult. While these lifestyle factors can help you achieve your maximum height potential, it's important to have realistic expectations and focus on overall health and well-being rather than solely on height.

(via A 'Father' and a 'Master')
A 'Father' and a 'Master'"“‘A son honors a father, and a servant his master. So if I am a father, where is the honor due me? And if I am a master, where is the fear due me?’ Jehovah of armies says to you priests who are despising my name." Mal. 1:6. *** Tsunamis--giant (harbor waves) caused by earthquakes or volcanic eruptions under the sea. In this 'poetic' or 'spiritual' sense-- humanity: "“But the wicked are like the restless sea that cannot calm down, And its waters keep tossing up seaweed and mire." Isa. 57:20. Causing untold calamity... Out in the depths of the ocean, these waves don't dramatically increase in height. But as these waves travel inland, they build up to higher and higher crippling 'frights' as the depth of the ocean decreases to satanic and demonic delights. So as a tsunami suddenly created 'Religion' is globally hated. Yes. 'Many' to this 'rise' relate. For 'hypocrisy' ulcerated in greedy 'leaders' great irritates sincere 'parishioners' who sadly these actions berate following a 'model' perfect, Jesus, which 'true' Christians whole-heartedly imitate: "“Also, when you pray, do not act like the hypocrites, for they like to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the main streets to be seen by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your private room and, after shutting your door, pray to your Father who is in secret. Then your Father who looks on in secret will repay you. When praying, do not say the same things over and over again as the people of the nations do, for they imagine they will get a hearing for their use of many words. So do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need even before you ask him." Matt. 6:5-8. *** "When I call, answer me, O my righteous God. Make a way of escape for me in my distress. Show me favor and hear my prayer... How long will you love what is worthless and search for what is false? (Those not earnestly seeking who will tragically pay the cost.) Know that Jehovah will treat his loyal one in a special way; Jehovah will hear when I call to him. Be agitated, but do not sin. Have your say in your heart, upon your bed, and keep silent. Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, And trust in Jehovah." Ps. 4:1-5. Only then to regain what in time was 'lost'... Because in an instantaneous 'hour' 'nations' will gladly unite; to this 'entity' repugnant totally desecrate: "And the ten horns that you saw and the wild beast, these will hate the prostitute and will make her devastated and naked, and they will eat up her flesh and completely burn her with fire. For God put it into their hearts to carry out his thought, yes, to carry out their one thought by giving their kingdom to the wild beast, until the words of God will have been accomplished." Rev. 17:16, 17. "So, then, let those who are suffering in harmony with the will of God keep on entrusting themselves to a faithful Creator while they are doing good." 1 Pet. 4:19. Because: "It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God." Heb. 10:31. 'Jehovah of armies'--a 'Faithful' and 'Righteous' Boss. *** "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the former heaven and the former earth had passed away, and the sea is no more." How to Grow Brussels Sprouts in Canada
Growing Brussels sprouts in Canada can be a rewarding endeavor, but it requires some specific attention to timing, climate, and care. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to grow Brussels sprouts in Canada: 1. Choose the Right Variety: Select Brussels sprout varieties that are well-suited for your specific Canadian region and climate. Some popular varieties include 'Long Island Improved,' 'Jade Cross,' and 'Catskill.' 2. Timing is Key: Brussels sprouts are a cold-weather crop. Start your seeds indoors 8-10 weeks before the last expected spring frost date in your area. In most Canadian regions, this is usually in early to mid-spring. 3. Start Indoors: Plant Brussels sprout seeds in seed trays or pots filled with a high-quality seed starting mix. Keep them indoors in a warm location (around 70°F or 21°C) until they germinate and develop true leaves. 4. Harden Off Seedlings: About two weeks before transplanting, begin the hardening-off process. Gradually expose the seedlings to outdoor conditions, starting with a few hours of filtered sunlight and increasing the time each day. 5. Transplant Seedlings: Transplant the seedlings into your garden when they are about 4-6 weeks old and have strong roots. Choose a location with full sun, as Brussels sprouts thrive in at least 6 hours of direct sunlight daily. 6. Proper Spacing: Plant Brussels sprout seedlings 18-24 inches apart in rows spaced about 30 inches apart. Brussels sprouts need room to grow and develop their characteristic sprouts along the stalk. 7. Soil Preparation: Prepare the soil by amending it with organic matter like compost or well-rotted manure. Brussels sprouts prefer a slightly acidic to neutral soil pH (around 6.5). 8. Mulch and Water: Apply a layer of mulch around the plants to help retain moisture and regulate soil temperature. Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged throughout the growing season. 9. Fertilize Sparingly: Brussels sprouts don't require heavy fertilization. Use a balanced, organic fertilizer or compost sparingly, as excessive nitrogen can lead to leafy growth at the expense of sprout development. 10. Provide Support: - As the plants grow, they may benefit from staking or support to prevent them from toppling over due to their height and weight. 11. Pest and Disease Management: - Watch out for common pests like aphids, cabbage worms, and cabbage loopers. Use organic pest control methods if necessary. Monitor for signs of disease, especially in wet conditions. 12. Harvesting: - Harvest Brussels sprouts when the sprouts are firm, about 1-2 inches in diameter, and have a vibrant green color. Start harvesting from the bottom of the stalk and work your way up. 13. Frost Tolerance: - Brussels sprouts can tolerate light frosts and may even taste sweeter after a light frost. In colder Canadian regions, consider protecting plants with row covers or cold frames to extend the growing season. Growing Brussels sprouts in Canada can be a bit challenging due to the country's diverse climates, but with the right care, you can enjoy a delicious harvest of homegrown sprouts that are perfect for fall and winter dishes. Unlocking the Secrets of Badminton Rules: Your Ultimate Guide
Tumblr media
Badminton is a fast and exciting sport that has become popular all over the world because of its exciting rallies and intense gameplay. Whether you're new to the game or have been playing for a long time, it's important to understand the rules well in order to fully enjoy it. In this detailed blog post, we will go through the Badminton Rule Book and explain everything you need to know to become a knowledgeable player. We will cover topics such as court size and how scoring works, so you can explore all the important aspects of the game and feel confident when you step onto the court.
Court Dimensions
In singles, a badminton court is 13.41 metres (44 feet) long and 5.18 metres (17 feet) wide. In doubles, the width increases to 6.1 metres (20 feet).
The net is 1.55 metres (5 feet 1 inch) high at the ends and 1.52 metres (5 feet) high in the middle where it dips.
To make a legal serve, the shuttlecock must pass the short service line, which is located 1.98 metres (6.5 feet) away from the net. Beyond the short service line, there is a line running down the middle to divide the left and right service courts. Additionally, there is a double service line situated 0.76 metres (2.5 feet) inside the baseline. As a result, each service court (there are four in total) measures 3.96 metres (13 feet) in length and 2.59 metres (8.5 feet) in width.
Serving Rules
In a badminton game, the shuttlecock, also known as the birdie, should be hit below the waist height. When serving, players must hit the birdie diagonally into their opponent's service box. Both players need to remain still until the serve is made.
In singles matches, the server begins from the right service court and serves from that side whenever they have an even number of points. On the other hand, if a player has an odd number of points, they serve from the left side. The serving player continues to serve as long as they keep winning points.
In doubles matches, the server starts on the right-hand side and continues to serve, switching sides with their teammate after each successful point. If the receiving side wins the point, they will take over the serve. From that point onward, the player who didn't initially serve for each team will assume the service only when their side wins a point as the receiving side.
Winning Point
A point is won if the birdie (shuttlecock) hits the ground in the opponent’s half of the court, including the lines.
A point can therefore be conceded if a shot goes outside the court boundaries if the birdie hits the net or passes through/under it, or if a player strikes the birdie twice with their racket.
Players must wait for the birdie to cross the net before playing a shot, and while you can follow through over it, touching the net with your body or racket results in a point being conceded.
The Scoring System
In both singles and doubles matches, the games are played in a best-of-three format. To win a game, a side needs to reach 21 points first.
Every time the shuttlecock is served, a point is scored, and it is awarded to the side that wins the rally. The side that wins the rally also gets the next serve.
When the score is tied at 20-20, a side must secure a two-point lead to win the game. However, if the score reaches 29-29, the first side to reach 30 points will be declared the winner.
The BIRDIE
The shuttlecock, also known as the birdie, is the unique "ball" used in badminton.
It is shaped like a cone and made by attaching feathers or synthetic material to a cork or rubber base.
Because of its shape, the birdie always flies with the cork end leading after being struck and remains in that position until it is hit again.
The birdie is composed of 16 feathers and is usually between 62-70mm long. It weighs between 4.74 and 5.5 grams. The feathers at the tip of the birdie should form a circle with a diameter ranging from 58-62mm. The cork or rubber base has a diameter of 25-28mm and a rounded bottom.
Faults and Penalties
During official BWF games, if you make a mistake or commit a fault, your opponent will earn a point and gain the right to serve. One significant fault in singles, according to the badminton rules and regulations, is when you swing and miss the shuttle during a serve. Another fault occurs if you hit the shuttle and it goes beneath the net. Additionally, hitting the shuttle out of bounds is considered a major fault in badminton. Lastly, it is discouraged to touch the shuttle with your body or clothing, as this goes against the basic rules of the game.
As you venture into the world of badminton, having a solid grasp of the rules is crucial for an enjoyable and competitive gameplay experience. In this comprehensive rulebook guide, we've covered the fundamental elements of badminton, from court dimensions and serving rules to scoring systems. Armed with this knowledge, you'll be ready to step onto the court with confidence, whether you're engaging in friendly matches or aiming for tournament success. So grab your racket, lace up your shoes, and let the games begin!

Business Numerology Hold the Secret for Successful Business Partnership
The business world is highly unpredictable and it is also extremely volatile, complex, and fast-forward. Every day or the other, there are challenges demanding immediate entrepreneurial attention and action. Ensuring success in the uncertain business world is a holy grail for entrepreneurs.
Things get complex if the business is running under the partnership. The success of the business also depends on the mutual understanding of the business partners. One of the steps that entrepreneurs can undertake to navigate their business through success is to check if their business partner(s) is compatible with them or not. Entering into a business partnership after compatibility check ensures you pick the right people favourable to you and your business.
Compatibility Between Business Partners
Business Numerology helps to find compatible business partners for the brand.
The numerology compatibility between partners minimizes the chances of failure and increases the possibilities of success.
How to Check Compatibility with Business Partner(s)?
If two or more Partners plan to open a business or join hands to invest in a business venture, they must check their Numbers. Harmony between their Name Number, Birth Number, and Life Path number is checked to make the venture profitable.
Name Number: Every alphabet in the Name has number values assigned. The single number of the total of these numerical values gives the Name number.
Birth Number: Birth Number is also known as Psychic Number. The total of the date when you are born gives your Birth Number.  For example, if born on 21st of any month. 2+1=3 is the Birth Number.
Life Path Number: Life Path Number is also known as Destiny Number. It is obtained by adding your date of birth (dd/mm/yyy). For example: 21/3/1985
      = 3 (2+1) + 3+ 5 (1+9+8+5 = 23)
=11
=1+1
=2
Let’s understand with the help of an example how to check the compatibility of Name Number and Date of Birth Numbers:
Suppose, two partners named Ritesh Goel and Sachin Jain want to come into partnership.
First: Check the compatibility of the Initial Alphabet of their Name.
> The first alphabet of Ritesh Goel is R having number value 2
> The initial alphabet of Sachin Jain is S having number value 3
Number value 2 is in harmony with Number value 3. So, the First step is compatible for both of them.
Second: Calculate their Name number and check the compatibility between them:
R I T E S H         G O E L
2 1 4 5 3 5       3 7 5 3
= 20                = 18
= 2+0              = 1+8
= 2                     = 9
So, Name number will be 2+9=11 =1+1= 2
S A C H I N     J A I N
3 1 3 5 1 5    1 1 1 5
=18                =  8
= 1+8= 9
So, Name number will be 9 +8 =17= 1+7 = 8
Name Number of Ritesh Goel (2) and Name number of Sachin Jain (8) are harmonious. So, the Second step also shows compatibility between them.
Third: The Date of Birth has a significant role to play in life. Let’s check through Number calculation whether their date of birth is in sync or not.
Suppose, Ritesh is born on 21.7.1991 and Sachin on 19.06.1994
Ritesh’s date of birth calculation:
> Birth Number: 2+1= 3
> Life Path Number: 3 (2+1) +7+2 (1+9+9+1 = 20) = 12= 3
DOB= 3/3
Sachin’s date of birth calculation:
> Birth Number: 1+9= 10 = 1
> Life Path Number: 1 (1+9) +6+ 5 (1+9+9+4 = 23) = 12 = 3
DOB= 1/3
Ritesh’s Birth Number 3 has a friendly relationship with Sachin’s Birth Number 1.
Similarly, Life Path Numbers of both 3 and 3 have a friendly relationship.
All three steps are in favour of each other. So, their partnership together can prove to be fruitful.
Conclusion:
Business success is unpredictable. One cannot predict when it will happen and to what extent. But, Entrepreneurs in their capacity should take measures to realize their ambitious aim of being successful. They must check their compatibility with the partners that can facilitate them to new heights. Together with your compatibility, don’t forget all the hard work and efforts required to make the business profitable and successful.

REVIEWING THE CHARTS: 18/02/2023 (Linkin Park, Central Cee, Lovejoy)
For a fifth consecutive week, “Flowers” by Miley Cyrus is #1 on the UK Singles Chart. Welcome back to REVIEWING THE CHARTS!
Tumblr media
Rundown
As always, we start with the notable dropouts – songs exiting the UK Top 75, which is what I cover, after five weeks in the region or a peak in the top 40. This week, the list includes both some more recent tracks like “Nonsense” by Sabrina Carpenter, “Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53” by Bizarrap and Shakira, “About You” by The 1975 and “snowfall” by Oneheart and reidenshi as well as some more long-term hits like “Moving All Around (Jumpin’)” by Schak featuring Kim English, “Rocket Science” by Clavish featuring D-Block Europe, “How Do I Say Goodbye” by Dean Lewis, “Mockingbird” by Eminem and finally, “All for You” by Cian Ducrot.
What’s filling up the blanks? Well, there are some returning entries, all of which are older songs just popping back up like “Someone You Loved” by Lewis Capaldi at #75, “Shivers” by Ed Sheeran at #69, “go” by Cat Burns at #64 (potentially the BRITs helped with these) as well as “When I Was Your Man” by Bruno Mars getting viral traction back to #50. The song originally peaked at #2 here in 2013, so I doubt its second run will reach those heights. This also brings us to our notable gains, which have some relation to the ever-disappointing BRIT Awards but also more general streaming gains. The gains this week include “Until I Found You” by Stephen Sanchez at #67, “Oh Baby” by Nathan Dawe and Bru-C featuring bshp and Issey Cross at #54, “Rush” by Ayra Starr at #44, “Just Wanna Rock” by Lil Uzi Vert at #41, “Never Not Gonna Dance Again” by P!nk at #40, “Forget Me” by Lewis Capaldi at #37, “Us Against the World” by Strandz at #27 – that’s a surprising amount of traction for that song since its debut, and it is likely to increase with the Digga D remix – “ceilings” by Lizzy McAlpine at #21, “Green Green Grass” by George Ezra at #14 and finally, Harry Styles reaped the benefits of his BRITs winnings with “Music for a Sushi Restaurant” at #57 and “As it Was” all the way back up to #7, because that song having a resurgence is definitely just what we needed.
Elsewhere in the top 10, we have our top five and it’s pretty predictable: “Sure Thing” by Miguel is at #5, “Kill Bill” by SZA is at #4, PinkPantheress gains up to #3 with “Boy’s a liar”, and we have the duo of “Escapism.” by RAYE featuring 070 Shake at #2 and of course, “Flowers” at #1. We have an interesting batch of new arrivals to look at next, most of which shouldn’t be unfamiliar names or faces, so I suppose let’s just get right into them.
NEW ARRIVALS
#74 – “Running out of Time” – Paramore
Produced by Carlos de la Garza
I’ve yet to hear the new Paramore record, This is Why, which of course debuted at #1 on the albums chart, and I’m not sure when I will because whilst I’ve heard decent reviews, I’m not that big of a fan when it comes to the singles they’ve released thus far. Will this be the one to convince me? Well, the song is one I can relate to when it comes to struggling to make time for anything other than the best intentions: “running out of time” is more running out of energy to focus on certain things at once, so a lot flies by the wayside. The lyrics detail a pretty disastrous daily routine over a jerky post-punk groove and pretty detailed guitar work that still ends up sounding quite of flat once we get to the chorus. Sure, there’s a drive to the riff, however staccato, but not enough when you have a refrain that is purely that one desperate excuse. It feels a bit too steady for a song which has content so outside of the lead vocalist’s control. Hayley Williams is as always an incredibly expressive vocalist with slightly on-the-nose lyrics, but outside of the almost universal feeling I get from this, I can’t say I dig it as much as I want to. This is the best single from the album I’ve heard so far, probably because it feels the most complete, but I still feel like there’s just a little something missing is all, and when Hayley’s putting in all the effort in the world with her vocals and songwriting, it seems especially disappointing that the band behind her is not exactly contributing in a way that feels like it fits the vision of her lyrics and performance.
#66 – “Special” – Lizzo
Produced by Ian Kirkpatrick, Max Martin, Pop Wansel and Daoud
To my surprise, Lizzo is still promoting this album, with the title track now getting a single release particularly due to a remix which for some reason is not credited on the Official Charts Company website when it is the only version getting a single push. I suppose I’ll have to cover the original version here, then. Like with most of LIzzo’s music, it’s definitely well-intended, basing the motivation in her own story, even if the narrative seems a bit clunky, but to be completely honest, this sounds terrible. The horns are as farty and plastic as they’ve ever sounded, and Lizzo is pushed so forward into the mix sometimes that her presence feels particularly overwhelming, especially when it follows the same spiteful self-motivation arc that a lot of these recent singles have had, which has never seemed particularly likeable to me, especially because it’s sugar-coated in an annoying empowering chorus wherein Lizzo seems unsure of her own lead melody, dressed in “luxurious” strings if your definition of luxurious was written by DJ Khaled. The drums are really weak in the chorus too, with the stiff R&B groove that barely registers as “alive” in the first place being completely drowned out. Then there’s the anger against cancel culture in the second verse which seems completely misplaced, especially because – I’ll say it again and again – it doesn’t exist, and if it does, it’s on the right wing. It’s a completely unnecessary and odd verse to place in there, and I feel like it both says nothing and doesn’t go far enough, making it occupy this awkward spot between being too abrasive for the song and sliding in there more subtly. The remix with SZA gets rid of the FIRST verse – you know, the only good part of the song – leaves the random bitterness in the second verse, and keeps pretty much everything else that made this insufferable, with SZA’s contributions mostly being backing vocals, and whilst she’s a more convincing presence than Lizzo – which is saying something – I’m still absolutely not on board with this. It’s just frustrating in a particularly annoying way because all intentions seem to be good with this one, but the song just sucks ass. I’m sorry.
#62 – “Love You Anyway” – Luke Combs
Produced by Luke Combs
It seems that if the UK is deciding on a token country star to prop up this side of the Atlantic, it’s going to be Luke Combs, and I’m not exactly complaining about that choice but it is strange to see a new country single find itself in the UK Top 75 this quickly. This particular song is entirely self-written and self-produced by Combs himself, and sadly, it kind of falls flat for me. I like the more organic sounds backing the typical country pedal-steel but the drums sound a bit too canned and as a result the song ends up being a bit of a slog despite the fact that it’s supposed to be a lovely ballad about how that nothing Combs’ partner could do would make him stop loving her. It’s a cute, well-written song, but I feel like its real place may not be on the charts but in a karaoke bar in Nashville. Thinking about that setting actually made me like the song a bit more: it has a “wham line” but it doesn’t emphasise it as much as it emphasises the entire chorus, so I feel like drinks are in hand and said hands are swaying in the air. With some better production, this could feel really transcendent, but as is, it offers a nostalgic enough vibe and the typical Luke Combs honesty and for that, it works well enough. I still like it.
#60 – “Here” – Tom Grennan
Produced by Jordan Riley, Lewis Thompson, LOSTBOY and Tom Grennan
I am still waiting for the moment that Tom Grennan releases a song that I actually like. That seems mean-spirited but the guy is so close to making music that is well up my alley... and he just doesn’t. “All These Nights” got really close – and honestly, I return to it more than I’d like to admit – but maybe with this new track, which he could have had more involvement with since it’s partly self-produced, he’s going to finally get there because I desperately want to like this guy. You know, it’s not the ideal sound I want to hear Tom Grennan over – 80s pop rock is still the play – but I... kind of love this? Sure, it’s faceless, with the odd vocal mix that is way too compressed and starts off with a really awkward intro, and the piano sounds like Downtown Abbey stock music, but Grennan brings his typical passion in a way that particularly hits this time around. Whatever he’s singing, it will always sound sincere coming from such a gruff yet waivering voice as Grennan’s, and given that this song is about pure love and devotion, him standing confidently amidst misty strings and a droning bass in that first chorus really caught me off guard. Then once the drums come in, they sound typical and digital, sure, but the echoing mix, alongside those backing vocal harmonies, make the song feel absolutely mountainous. Naturally, I’d prefer some real instruments rather than a rattling trap hi-hat in the chorus and bridge for some reason, as this really is a song that needs an organic grit to work as well as it can... but even with the trap drums and processed vocals, that final chorus hits hard and the droning confidence of the song feels like a mantra, with a gorgeous piano outro that kind of convinced me that this is also very, very close to actually being great. Come on, Tom, man, you’re nearly there! You’re getting closer and closer!
#45 – “If We Ever Broke Up” – Mae Stephens
Produced by Morgan Avenue
Another week, another young singer-songwriter with a semi-viral breakout single... yet this one is different because yes, ladies and gentlemen, Mae Stephens is from Kettering. North Northamptonshire stand up as we finally have some representation on the pop charts. On another note, the song is ass: its main motif is clunky and hard to follow, simultaneously not allowing for a nuanced perspective whilst also not allowing for an emotive performance, Stephens sounds half-dead for most of the song, leading to an even number performance on a disco beat that drags its feet through gross synth leads and a bassline that deserves more, with an attitude to composition that would be fun and impromptu if the song didn’t end abruptly without climax or if you know, anyone involved was actually alive because this sounds like it was made by a board room of corpses who have been reconfigured by AI to discern what the youths want to hear and produce some kind of posthumous-sounding pop hit for TikTok. With all that said, Mae, hey, I am just someone with a blog so if you see me in the street in the next couple months, which is actually a decent probability for once on this show, please understand that I do not mean any harm. Listen, at least you don’t get the treatment I give... certain acts on this blog. For example:
#32 – “Call Me What You Like” – Lovejoy
Produced by Dan Priddy and Mark Crew
It’s official: Minecraft YouTuber indie rock is here to stay. To be fair to Mr. Soot and his group of strapping young heartthrobs, I think they’re defined more by this band now than they are Creepers and Endermen, but if you start as a Minecraft YouTuber, as far as I’m concerned, you die a Minecraft YouTuber. When you start the song with “I never was a fan of the Internet”, I’m not sure if you’re even trying to hide it. As for the song’s quality, I actually think the lead despondent riff is pretty catchy and the drum production is genuinely excellent as it has enough aggression and violence when it comes in for the chorus but it never gets muddy, and you can hear every lift, every hit: it hits particularly hard against the fuzz of guitars that also sounds excellent: the lone squeal of one of the guitars parallels Soot’s falsetto in the chorus and oh, my God, I think I like this song. As for the content, it’s more barely witty self-deprecation, this time regarding his insecurity about what value he holds in a relationship, to the point where he’s basically accusing her of cheating, but it never really comes off as repulsive because he’s very aware of how slimey he’s being. The chorus is never anything other than awkward and the bridge is literally a goofy spoken word monologue about how much of a dumbass he is that is wonderfully 1980s and somehow 1920s at the same time. By the end of the song, it’s hard to believe he’s directing any of this towards his partner anyway, as his irrationality has clouded way too much of his judgement for it to be any more than self-contained frustration, which hits particularly hard with the tried-and-true half time drums on the final chorus. If Lovejoy are going to take more risks as well as having consistently excellent production and mixing for this specific niche, I’m excited to hear what they come up with next. Genuinely, I never thought I’d say that.
#31 – “Me & You” – Central Cee
Produced by E.Y. and RazorOnTheTrack
Alright, I’ll bite: what nostalgic track does this one sample? Well, this time, it’s not even original: not only have Lil Wayne and Young Thug flipped it, but fellow UK rapper Not3s took the Donell Jones sample of “Shorty (Got Her Eyes on Me)” less than two years ago. “Shorty” peaked at #19 here in the UK and was the 1999 follow-up to his only major hit, “U Know What’s Up”, one of the catchiest R&B songs of the 1990s. Sadly, MIST already took “U Know What’s Up” so Cench settled for seconds and this is genuinely awful. I know that’s what Central Cee does now: sample something recognisable under a drill beat and it doesn’t need to be good because it’s a joke song, and as long as he does some kind of playful flip of the sample and adds enough of his ad-libs, it’ll chart. That doesn’t mean it’s any less lazy even if it is his schtick. The sample is so badly mastered that the guitar sounds like came from an AI stem-splitter and Cench tries to play with a vocal loop of Donell Jones by allowing it to complete his sentence but the chipmunk distortion makes it basically indecipherable so he just sounds awkward as all Hell. The percussion is oddly gross and cheap-sounding this time around too, and Cench’s vocal mix is terrible, and that’s before even considering the lyrical content... and honestly, I don’t want to. It’s a gross two verses of desperate guilt-tripping, misguided and clunky analogies and then apologia for his own terrible actions, even cutting in a reference to his “Doja” song by saying he didn’t mean the infamous line in a “degrading way”. Hell, the vocal mix sounds particularly bad on that line so my guess is that he saw this wasn’t going to do as well because it was utter garbage and threw that line in there as a last resort to ensure it got into the top 40. Whatever goodwill I had for Central Cee on the back of a few good songs has been sucked dry with his recent string of singles because not only is the consent absolutely rife with manipulation alongside the flexes, the beats just get lazier and lazier, and no one around him is telling him no. So whilst I know he absolutely isn’t reading this, I’m going to tell him no: think about it in a business way. Sample drill isn’t sustainable – Cench made a song about manipulating his girlfriend, calling her an “endangered species” and then tripling down on the stupidest rap line of 2022... just for Donell Jones to reap all the profits. At least he knows what’s up.
#18 – “Lost” – Linkin Park
Produced by Don Gilmore, Chester Bennington, Dave Farrell, Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Mr. Hahn and Rob Bourdon
I like Linkin Park. I know that’s the coldest take of all time but Chester Bennington was really something special when it came to dynamic vocalists, and the band around him kept on changing their sound to mixed results but always with the same degree of passion, of which I’m glad is living on through these anniversary releases. Last time they celebrated the anniversary of Hybrid Theory, they released what may be one of my favourite Linkin Park songs ever, “She Couldn’t”, as a previously unreleased single, which sadly didn’t chart despite being one of their most resonant and heartbreaking songs ever. As I get older, I tend to prefer their more lowkey, reflective moments like that song but the crushing nu-metal they’re known for is what’ll get them to chart, and naturally, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Meteora, we have the previously unreleased “Lost”. Since 2003, when a five-second clip of Chester singing became a staple of Linkin Park fans’ wishlists, and the song had been constantly teased until finally, 20 years later, the holy grail is officially out. Was it worth the wait? Well, for devoted fans, I imagine that this is a relief of great proportions. For me, I love the dated industrial bleeping that was typical of this era of LP, and I almost wish all of the song functioned in this electropop model, because the turntablism, Shinoda’s echoing paranoia and incredible synths sound a lot better to me when not crushed under grovelling nu-metal, especially for a song about feeling lost and uncertain, wherein a looming paranoia seems more fitting than aggressive cathartic release. I can tell why this was never officially released – Chester’s vocal doesn’t sound final, the lyrics are a bit vaguer and incomplete, especially the really repetitious bridge, but it’s close. He’s as expressive as ever, especially on that chorus, and hearing Chester in any context posthumously hits in a specific way... but for someone who’s not a super-fan, it just can’t hit the same as someone who’s been following the song’s release for as long as it’s been known about. For some fans, this’ll mean the world, and I can’t take anything away from that.
Conclusion
This was a... mixed bag at least. Thankfully, there’s enough that’s decent here to balance out some of the outright garbage. Best of the Week goes to Lovejoy of all people for “Call Me What You Like”, which is a surprise for me, with Honourable Mention being kind of a toss-up but I think I’m particularly fond of Luke Combs’ “Love You Anyway”. As for the Worst of the Week, Central Cee takes it expeditiously for the disgraceful “Me & You”, with a Dishonourable Mention for “Special” by Lizzo which is again well-intentioned but sounds horrible in most aspects that aren’t SZA, and she’s not even on the original version. As for what’s next on the horizon, I have no idea, but thank you for reading and I’ll see you next week!

Here’s what to keep in mind before stocking your pantry with keto-friendly foods.
The keto diet remains one of the most popular diets out there, especially because one of the biggest benefits of following this low-carb, high-fat lifestyle is weight loss.
As Jessica Ernst, registered dietitian at The Keto RD explains it, people tend to see “decreased hunger due to highly satiable foods, increased energy levels, weight loss, improvement in lipid profiles, improvement in blood sugar, reduction in waist circumference measurements, and loss of fat mass.”
But how does weight loss on the keto diet actually work, and how much weight can you expect to lose? And how long will it take to see results? We talked with experts to bring you this guide to all things keto weight loss. Here’s what you can expect week-by-week, after one month, 90 days and beyond.
How Does the Ketogenic Diet Lead to Weight Loss?
Kassey Cameron, food blogger and author of The Beginner’s KETO Meal Plan, explains that the ketogenic diet works due to a natural metabolic switch to ketosis in which your body is primed to utilize fat for fuel in place of glucose (carbs/sugar).
“During the state of ketosis your body indiscriminately burns fat for fuel,” she explains. “This is the fat you are eating (your foods), the fat you have stored (adipose tissue), and the fat your body naturally generates (cholesterol).”
By restricting carbohydrates, we naturally consume more nutrient-dense, fat-dense foods, which Dr. Jaime Seeman, a board-certified ketogenic nutrition specialist, says leads to more satiety. This is beneficial for consuming fewer calories as well,” she explains.
“Also, when you restrict carbs, the majority of the processed foods from your diet are eliminated, leading to a more whole, balanced diet.” Most people will naturally eat fewer calories on this diet, which also can lead to decreased fat loss. And per Dr. Seeman, when you begin to enter ketosis by using ketones for fuel vs. carbs, this can also lead to appetite suppression.

How Much Weight Can You Lose On a Ketogenic Diet?
This, stresses Cameron, depends on your specific goals and your body. “In the past four years, I have worked with well over 100,000 men and women and have seen such a range — 10 pounds in some people, and upwards of 200 pounds in others” she explains, noting that when it comes to weight loss, there is no “average or normal” because of our bio-individuality. Things like starting weight, age, height, body fat percentage, activity level, and preexisting conditions that can impact your metabolism all play a role in your rate of loss. In terms of what to aim for, Cameron recommends “a sustainable healthy goal of an average of one to three pounds per week.”
Keto Weight Loss After 1 Week
Ernst says that during the initial stages of the keto diet, many people lose weight quickly at the beginning as water loss. She typically sees clients shed between two and 10 pounds, but notes that this is very individualized. “This occurs because when you drastically cut carbs out of the diet, you will lose a lot of water weight,” she says. This is largely because fewer carbs will cause a drop in insulin, which will allow the kidneys to eliminate excess sodium.
Drew Manning, keto diet expert and author of Fit2Fat2Fit and Complete Keto, stresses that this beginning weight loss is not initially fat. “It’s mostly just water weight,” he says. In his experience, people can lose anywhere from one to five pounds on average in that first week. “Maybe more depending on the person.”
Weight Loss One Month Into the Ketogenic Diet
“For the first month on keto, if people stay at a calorie deficit and stay consistent with the diet, most people can probably lose 10 pounds or more that first month,” says Manning. He notes that obviously there are many factors that impact weight loss, but after about a month, the body becomes more fat-adapted and becomes more efficient at burning fat as fuel.
Dr. Seeman says for her patients, the average weight loss is 10–12 pounds in the first month. She also explains that keto adaption/fat adaption can take weeks, so it’s important to really stick with it for a while to teach your body how to be a fat burner instead of a sugar (glucose) burner. Electrolyte management is very important during this time period, and most people will need additional sodium, potassium and magnesium during this period to combat any symptoms of “keto flu”, which is electrolyte depletion.
“You are literally teaching your body how to do something well,” says Dr. Seeman. “Think of it as a workout program for your cells, you are laying down new transporters and messengers in your system.”
Ernst reminds people to be patient. “It took a long time to put on the weight, so it will take some time to lose it,” she says. But if the individual following a ketogenic plan doesn’t lose any weight for a month, she recommends making some small adjustments to their diet and working with a registered dietitian to evaluate their diet in detail. This can help you to make sure you are taking the proper steps to keto diet success.
Keto Weight Loss Results After 90 Days on Keto
“If the patient can maintain a steady calorie deficit, I expect them to lose one to two pounds per week,” says Dr. Seeman. So after 12 weeks, her clients are usually down around 20–25 pounds. She adds, however, that this is very patient-specific and would depend on their initial body fat percentage. “As you get closer and closer to an ideal body fat percentage the body will start adapting and weight loss will slow,” she explains.
Maintaining Your Ketogenic Weight Loss
Dr. Josh Axe, founder of Ancient Nutrition and author of KETO DIET, suggests that most follow the keto diet for one to several months before taking a break and returning some carbs to their diet. “At this point, keto cycling (or carb cycling) is an option that can help with maintenance,” he says. This involves eating higher carb some days and eating to stay in ketosis on other days.
He explains that a more modified keto diet is another option as well: “This is when you generally eat low carb and high fat, but also aim for more variety in terms of plant foods that provide fiber and important nutrients. such as adding some sweet potato, berries or beans to your diet.”
