Don't get me wrong, I love the "out of shape" Shane concept. It's valid and more people should embrace it. I understand my boy is on the depresso expresso and most of the time that takes a toll on your health (heck, even your basic hygiene, won't I know it)

BUT

This dude helps around in Marnie's ranch, right? Do you know how much work that is on a daily basis?

Feeding animals, chopping wood, carrying around heavy... Stuff idk don't judge my poor argument, I just woke up hungover.

My point is boy must have a strong back for that, and that core strength? Off the charts. That upper body strength? OOF.

Also, yes we know his diet consists mostly of frozen pizza, pepper poppers and beer... But you know what that ranch must have in abundance? Eggs, cheese and milk. He has the best protein for his breakfast and a hc I have is that Marnie often "suggests" that he eats breakfast with her and Jas, just to help him build a stronger routine. Sometimes she just sits him down, and even some mornings they end up arguing about it (and I can draft a quick angsty one shot for yall about it)

Anyways, all this rambling is just to say that while Shane is a big boy, that boy is toned... he could also lift your OC and don't even sweat about it.

Elvis Film Review - Mini Film Review - I slipped into the Astor Theatre this arvo to see Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis. Before I comment on the film, I’ll just mention Baz directs every movie he makes exactly the same way, hate his style or love it, he won’t let you ignore the fact he is the director. Not even for a minute. I’m fine with that. He’s done all the hard work after all, dreamt up the idea, raised the money, employed a lot of people including his wife… but every now and then while watching one of his films (and Elvis is no exception) I wish he’d step back, take a breath, and let the script and actors tell the story. I live in hope, maybe one day he will. Now that’s out of the way, I really enjoyed Elvis. It’s goes off like a rocket. Is it a great movie? No! It’s more like an extended music video with a six month shoot instead of just two days, and with a mega budget. The story is really about Col. Tom Parker, the man who discovered Elvis, played in the film by Tom Hanks. Tom’s not too bad either. But hats off to Austin Butler who plays Elvis. Hot diggity dog, he steals the show right out from under old man Hanks’ nose, and doesn’t give a frigging damn. It’s a first class performance, with Butler never putting a foot wrong during the almost three hour running time. As for the rest of the performances? Who cares! Typical of Baz’s style, everyone is over acting anyway so it doesn’t matter. The thing is Austin Butler did his homework, worked hard and nailed his performance. That’s all I cared to remember when I left the Astor humming Elvis’ Old Kentucky Rain. Nothing else matters except the guy on stage in the jumpsuit playing Elvis. Do you remember No Tail Max? We do. He was with us at North Central for quite some time. He was very loud in his kennel wanting us to all take him out and play. And he scared a lot of people away because he was so loud. Even when we would tell them how great he was in the yard and how affectionate he was.
